《There can be Darkness without Light》 The prologue: The GIver The prologue: Everything has an beginning When the universe got created it got created from nothing and by no one from nothingness. With the creation of the universe another thing came to life, a being so dark that even the darkness of the nothingness couldn''t be compared to it. Through out time the creature slept and from it''s energy three other beings got created. The all ruling God, Life and Death. The three beings slowly grew more intelligent and created all kinds of stuff. They created an system. They created balance. Life created beings through out the universe while Death took them. They did not dare awake the creature from it''s slumber, but the time came and the creature awoke. But when it did it knew nothing, it was like an infant. When God, Life and Death saw the creature it resembled beings that already existed, beings that got created from Life by an mistake, the dragons. It had black scales like no other of it''s kind and no even the all ruling God could sense it''s energy or it''s origin. God wanted to kill the creature of but Life and Death protested and took him in instead. They thought him how to speak and how to take an more comfortable form. Despite Death being Death he was the kindest being after Life in the whole universe. After some million or so years Hisrom the black dragon got his title from God. He was named. HIsrom soon became one of the four rulers of the universe. The so called Divine Giver that answered beings in need. He also became known for his kindness and love. But who would have known that Death was on the verge of falling apart from all the life taking as he was also a being of peace. Over the time God became more and more unloving, he gave no break and despite that Life and Hisrom begged God to give Deaths title to someone else he refused, unless Life or Hisrom would take his place. Of course Hisrom couldn''t allow Life to take such an spot because he knew it would effect her to much, so he took it. The four rules of the universe decided to take the most commune calender and that was the human one. Those beings came form an planet called Earth. Thought they were nor the strongest being nor the most intelligent beings their potential was the greatest of them all. But there was also a problem with the humans and that was their GREED. There were a lot of creatures in the universe and of course all of them had greed within then but none held as much greed as the humans. The year 2459 was also the year when Hisrom was going to take over Deaths work. -Death: When taking someones soul little Hisse you have too look deeply into it and see if the soul is that of good Rai or bad Rai. ( Rai aka. Mana or Ki or simply energy) Death always treated Hisrom like an little brother he was very kind to him. But Death was also against Hisrom taking his post, as he knew how much suffering it could bring taking someone life. But Hisrom told God that he would do it and so God made Death give his post to Hisrom. -Hisse: I know that. Stop treating me like i''m an little kid, did you forget that we''re the oldest beings in the universe? -Death: Ohhh shussh. To me you will always be my cute little brother. -Hisse: Anyway how do i transport the souls to Heaven and Hell? -Death: Oh yea that''s right you still can''t summon your weapon i forgot. I might be able to make an artifact that is able to do the job. Suddenly Death puts his hands in front of him in dark light come forth. It took 30 seconds for Death to create an small dark ball. The ball was in a size of an fist. Then he threw the ball to Hisrom. -Death: There take it. That ball contains a small amount of my Rai. It can transform into any weapon you wish. Since you won''t be fighting anything there is no need to be thought any Death-arts. -Hisse: Thank you. But what do you mean i won''t be fighting anything so i don''t need you arts? Do you sometimes have to fight someone? -Death: While of course. Do you think that all beings will allow you take their loved ones just because their names are on Deaths list? -Hisse: I can understand that but who can fight you? I mean i don''t know how to fight nor have i ever taken an life before but i know how strong you are, so who is there to oppose you? -Death: Little HIsse despite us being the strongest there are still creatures out there who are also strong. Creatures that Life has created by mistake, such as drag..cough.... demons, overlords and many more. Death made an wry smile as he was about to say dragons. He knew that HIsse was an dragon. But he has never taken his dragon form even once since got the form of an human. Life told him that it was the easiest form to take. He had no choice to choose since he held little knowledge back then. He had his human form for so long that he had forgotten how to even turn into his dragon form. But Death knew that was not the truth. When God tried to inspect Hisroms Rai he felt nothing, yet Hisrom wielded Rai. So when Hisrom took on another form God sealed him in that form and never even once allowed him to turn back. God put many seals on Hisrom. Hisrom wasn''t able to go out of Gods realm. He could only watch from the Well of Truth that Life made for him. It was from that very Well that he was able to answer prayers as the Divine Giver. Hisrom was only able to give he has never once taken anything from the beings bellow the God realm. That was also one of the Gods seals on him. God knew that he couldn''t sense his Rai because Hisrom wielded more Rai then him. So he put an seal on Hisrom so that he was never able to take in Gods power or anything else, so God put an seal on him so that he could only give hence the name Divine Giver. God feared that if Hisrom wanted to take his post it would become an large scale battle that would damage the universe greatly, but he didn''t care about the universe God only cared about his power and control over all beings. Death and Life both knew that but they couldn''t do anything since they knew his power. God was able to give life and take it. They could only stay silent and treat Hisrom with care since they both hated God. This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there. But why would God let Hisrom take souls now? Well that was because he wasn''t taking them. Hisrom was only able to transport souls either to Heaven or to Hell. But still Hisrom felt happy, because now at least he would be able to see the universe with his own eyes. He would be able to out of the Gods realm. He felt excited that he would see all the beings in it and answer their prayers. Still Death knew that this was wrong. Even if Hisrom wasn''t able to take the souls he was still able to kill but that wasn''t what he worried about because he knew that Hisrom was never able to even hurt an fly. What made him worried is how would Hisrom react when he saw the true faces of the beings outside. That not all of them were like the ones that he answered too. He made an wry smile and said. -Death: But don''t worry little Hisse, you should know most of Lifes protection spell such as shield of Life. With that spell surely not even the demon overlord will be able to hurt you. But still if something strong comes after you, be sure to teleport back to an safe place. But worry not! There is still some more boring prologue mwhahahhaha. The real thing hasn''t even started yet. As said this is just to see if it goes well as of right now i''m writing this in random i don''t hold any future chapters. Things were going smooth at the start but it slowly drained Hisrom from his Rai being both the Divine Giver and the transporter of soul. Not just that but Hisrom had seen too much. You would never know what a prideful person could do or even worse one of those greedy creatures. Hisrom never understood. No matter how much he gave people still wished more and more. Now that they knew he existed he received bi break. Wished from everywhere and souls needing transport from everywhere. Hisrom would sometimes cry when he was alone. Those creatures never stopped bothering him. He just gave and gave and gave with no end. Now finally he know how Life felt. Life was almost always locked in her room creating new stuff. But it was worse for her. She could feel the emotions of her own creations. Now i know why i could hear her weep and sob sometimes. I always thought it was because of the old man(GOD) but it turns out i was wrong. Why are those creatures like that? They kill each other for little land. Mothers kill their own children while the children have the purest soul. I always thought that souls would just be doing nothing and be ready for transport. But it turned out that i don''t see the "normal" kinds of souls, i''m able to see them in their form that they died in. Unlike big brother who can only see round head sized objects with Rai pouring out. When i arrive to transport a newly killed child it breaks my heart. They cry and speak of all kinds of things. Their thoughts turn dark in matter of seconds. I can understand that, the one whom they trusted the most suddenly turned on then. The one whom gave them birth treated them like a dog since birth. That''s why childrens souls are always first on the list. Their crying always makes me drop a tear or too. If no one will cry for them then i will cry for them. But i have also realized that i''m getting weaker and weaker. Right now i''m unable to answer big prayers. I can cast the small ones without trouble but for the medium ones i drop an sweat or two. I told this to the others but their responses kind of left me confused. God smiled happily and said (It''s fine it''s fine hehe) and turned away while laughing which looked very weird. But when i told Life and Death about it they both made sad smiles and i could see Life run into her realm. Death didn''t say anything, he just turned around and went to his realm. Again... I could hear Life crying from her realm. But this time it''s worse, wonder what the creatures did this time. BOOM :SHAKE: BOOM. The whole realm world suddenly started shaking. I found out that big brother was training. He was casting large scale spells in his own realm. I wonder what ticked him of... Pov: Life Why. Why. Why. Why. Why. Why. Why am i so weak. How long does he plan too continue doing those thing to Hisse. Hisse is kind and caring yet that bastard only cares for his powers. He had not even once cared about Hisse yet Hisse treats him like a father. Me and Death tried to do our best to stop him from giving Hisse the role of Death. But no. That old bastard, had planned to give Hisse the role of Death for a long time. Death getting tired of his job?Hmph. He was created to take souls! There is no way he can get tired of it! Yet that old geezer gave the role to Hisse. Every time Hisse transports an soul he losses a portion of his Divine Rai.The seals... He put so many seals on Hisse. Even me and Death combined are unable to break them. We once tried breaking the seals but HIsse only dropped to the ground screaming. But also lately i can see that the pure Hisse has gotten an crack in his soul. His soul looks like an round object that his a crack in the middle of it. I have never seen anything like that. I have never seen someones soul breaking. I asked Death about this matter but he said that Hisse might be evolving. Since unlike us when we were born Hisse had not evolved even once. Pov: end. Pov: Hisrom I was now on the planet called Earth i had 67204 souls to collect on it. I had both hate and love for the humans. Humans held the greatest potential yet their greed was over the top. With their potential they could do anything if they truly put some work in it. Yet every time they don''t even try. Wish after Wish. As i went down to transport the souls of Earth. I was walking through an town. The town wasn''t that large. I didn''t know what the towns name was and i didn''t even care about it''s name. Right now my mood was the worst mood i ever had. I started to hate the greedy creatures. The more the greed in the universe grew the more and more i heard Life cry and Death trained harder and harder in his realm. Suddenly the man that was having his way with her turned around and looked at me. While looking at me he slowly pulled a knife out and stabbed the women in the stomach. Women 2: AHHHHHHH! HELP!!!! I DON''T WANT TO DIE HELP ME! As i thought that the same thing might happen to her to by the two man that were on her i ran towards her. The man that killed the first women slowly turned to me once again and ran at me with the knife. I casted protector of Earth to protect my body but suddenly the man leaked something purple and teleported right next to me and stabbed me in my left arm. * IT HURST IT HURTS IT HURTS WHY THE HELL DOES IT HURT THIS MUCH* The man that was giving of purple light suddenly smiled at me and spoke. -Man: Ohhh we have someone with the divine energy here boys. Dumb the bitch and come here Ter''hiz and Marek''o. -Boys: '''' Yes Great uncle'''' Soon after the man in purple was in the middle and so called Ter''hiz and Marek''o were on lift and right by him. I didn''t even notice them come, when i looked over at the women i realized that she had no longer an head. Again he spoke to me. -Man in purple: Who are you? SPEAK! -Hisrom: My name is Hisrom and i''m here as the transporter of souls. And who are you? You just killed two pure souls! -Man in purple: Pure? You call those bitches pure? kahkahkahkah, And you are the so called Divine Giver that took over The Reapers job? -Hisrom: What? How do you know about me? -Man in purple: Those with power have the right to know everything. And now tell me why didn''t you dodge? How does he know? There is no way that Life or Death have told him. Damn my Ral i very low. I can''t cast any of the high shield spells. DAMMIT. What do i do. I couldn''t even save two pure souls. I have to talk my way out of this then ask big brother about them. -Hisrom: I was never tought how to fight. Only protection spells. -Man in purple: Death sent you out here with no knowledge of any of the arts? HAHAHAHAHA. So foolish. -Hisrom: And who are you? And how do you know about me and big brother? -Man in purple: I am Sard''ial and i rule over the Krag''nasa zone. Suddenly the shock hits me. KRAG''NASA!? Big brother told me about that zone. Creatures that have existed almost as long as us live there. Creatures that were created at the beginning and never disposed of. Dammit what are they doing on a low planet such as earth?! First time since i was born i started to feel fear. In front of me was the man that big brother said that was able to kill immortals. What do i do? For now just don''t do anything stupid. -HIsrom: I see. Sorry to bother you then but i must transport the souls now. I was just trying to get away as fast as possible from him. -Sard''ial: Boy, where do you think you are going? That bastard said he would lift the seals of my children if i capture you. -Hisrom: What? What do you mean? Wai- Suddenly Sard''ial appeared behind me. I felt an burst of pain on my neck, Sard''ial: Now all i have to do is kill this boy and my children will be free. HAAHHAHAHA, And then i fell forth losing my consciousness. But not before i had an chain of thoughts. But that was also the start of Hisrom breaking free. Hisrom didn''t understand. Who would betray him? What has he ever done to be betrayed? Only three people knew him and he know neither Life nor Death could ever harm him. But what have i done to deserve this? Did i not give enough? Am i supposed to give more? To whom? To those greedy creatures? Have you not given them enough? Day after day, wish after wish. The aura of death was all around him. He was no longer looking for peace with God. Just then Gods eyes shone and he looked at Death and spoke in an voice that came from all areas and that echoed trought the universe. -God: YOU DARE OPPOSE ME YOU LOWLY BEING. I''VE HAD IT WITH YOU, YOU SHALL PERISH LIKE THAT LOWLY WORM OF YOURS. Suddenly Gods hand began to shine and a weapon came forth. A trident that was made out of pure light. Death did the same and an large black sward appeared. -Life: NO STOP! DON''T FIGHT! -God: Shut it you foolish women! -Death: Life stay out of this i will finish this once and for all. I''ve had it with him. How dare he hurt Hisse! As Life was crying at the side God and Death clashed forth with their weapons. The whole universe started shaking. God casted Lorde ranked lightning spell. From all the leeching he had done from Hisrom. God had gotten even more powerful. He knew that. He casted the spell and suddenly millions of lightning tridents that looked like his came on Death. Death held his weapon in his left hand and casted a God ranked spell. The Reapers dance. When he casted the spell thousands of black shadows appeared that look just like him. The battle went on and on for 2 long years. Death and God have been fighting while Life tried to protect the universe. She casted her highest level shield around the battle so that no harm may come. Yet almost 1/4 of the endless universe got destroyed. -Death: Pant. Pant. Pant. Let''s end this you bastard. Death was almost out of his energy almost none remained. -God: This shall end now. Good bye you lowly being. Unlike Death. God had more energy. He casted a God ranked spell called The Gods Wrath. Deaths eyes suddenly widen as he knew that he was keeping this for the final battle. -Death: You bastard that''s what you''ve been waiting for! God didn''t speak he only appeared behind Death before Death could even think. Just then Death felt three thing pierce through his chest. It was the trident. Death was weakened. * So this is how it ends? I''m sorry Hisse i couldn''t save you. But worry not he will never hurt you again* -Death: THE DEAD SHALL DANCE AND ALL OF LIFE WILL WATCH, I CAST MY CURSE UPON YOU GOD. YOU SHALL REMAIN IN THIS STATE UNTIL JUSTICE IS BROUGHT! Just then the Gods realm darkened and all of the darkness went on God. God felt weakened yet again. -God: What have you done too me? What is this? Why am i unable to heal! -Death: HAHAHAHA You shall remain like that forever for your sins. Life shall be over you but she is unable to kill, You will wait for the rest of your pathetic life for someone to grow stronger then you and take your head. And like that Death was no more. He disappeared. Only Life and God remain. Life lost 2 of her dearest people. Her eyes were lifeless and if you looked at her face she no longer shed tears. She looked just like an doll. -God: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE. SCUM I AM INVINCIBLE NO ONE SHALL TAKE MY PLACE! And like that God took Life and started repairing his God realm. After he received the knowledge he could go out of this cage now, but he didn''t care any longer. This void was his home. Outside only this that he hated were there. But after many years he had finally decided that he will go out and kill obliterate everything. -Hisrom: Finally the time has come Hisrom the eternal shall put his wrath upon this wasted space. On the cage cracks started appearing everywhere. And then krsshhhhh. The cage broke. His eyes were black and red, With many pentagon around the pupils. They looks very scary. Then she looked at the man but he said nothing. But after a while he spoke. -Scary man: Rhak shama dirth sakul. Then out of nowhere an black scythe appeared. And sweesh. Countless people killed. His realm was made of blood and bones. His realm was like an nightmare. The endless sea of blond and the castle of bones. In the middle of the bones stood a large throne, and in it was Hisrom. Pov: Hisrom -Hisrom: Finally the time has come for that scum to fall before me. What kind of monster. He then looked at Life that was chained in the corner of his throne. -God: Rebuild it. NOW YOU BITCH DO YOUR JOB. The lifeless Life held up her hand and green light started to shine and the destroyed universe started to be restored but it was only an small portion of it. Suddenly a figure appeared before them. The figure was clad in black rags and his face. They had seen that face before but his eyes were that beyond of this entire realm. Chapter 2: Status what !?!? ( A bit rewritten and edited) There we go, i won''t touch the first chapter also please read the update ^_^ Also the next chapter are about to be changed tonight! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Time sure does go by fast. And my fourth birthday is coming up soon. Can''t wait. I overheard mom and dad talking that the room upstairs is going to become my room. I spoiled my own fun. Sorry mom and dad so much for the surprise. And it was fun. Carefree life with nothing to worry about. All i got to do was play. But i also got to read some books that were on the shelf. It looks like the planet that i got reborn on is called Therax. *Never heard of that planet before* Also the kingdom we are in right now is called the Astral kingdom. The books are kinda old so it doesn''t say how many people reside in it but it does say that this world is huge. And i can get that. The days are very long while the nights are even longer. The day has 2 suns and the night has 3 moons. This world does seem to have some kind of advanced tech but not that far... I wouldn''t want people running around with railguns and battleships... Ohh God please no.. I also learned about something called Magma but i don''t quiet get it. According to one of the books when a child turns 5 they will receive their Magma. It must be something Gaia created in the system or it might be something the Gods of this planet added. I''ll get on that later. If it was Gaia who added it then only the Darkness knows how long i have been in the void sleeping. But that''s not all the information i learned. I learned a lot about my family too. Every time i''m alone in my room i use that time to gain some muscle, but my body is still that of an child so i''m forced to limit my training. But the wooden sword swinging doesn''t burden my tiny body that much. I also noticed something that has to do with the Magma. I don''t know if this is supposed to happen but sometimes i can see. +1 Strenght Mom didn''t mention anything about this while explaining but so far since i turned four and started training four months have past. And soon i will be four and half years old. And in those four months i have gained twelve+ strenght. seventeen+ agility and eight+ vitality. It surprised me. Because when i remember my moms status she had very little strenght and vitality, yet i gained so much in just four months. I guess my development is a bit abnormal. But it doesn''t surprise me, even thought the body is that of an pure blood vampire it is still my soul that''s within it. So far i don''t seem to be able to wield any magic other then void and darkness. Because basically, my soul is the void and the darkness. But my control over them is weak for some reason. Must be because my sealed body has 10 spears of Truth stabbed through it. Every single one of those spears took me years to create. Pouring every single element with in them. If even one of those spears was to explode then i''m pretty sure one good chunk of the universe would be damaged. But i don''t mind the weak control. It''s perfect like this. Right now my void control is very weak but i can still use it to enhance my body while i can''t devour anything with it right now. Darkness on the other hand. Zero. I''m supposed to be the darkness and i can feel it within me yet nothing. It must be because this body is too weak. If i was to used even a tiny bit of the darkness the soul would be unharmed but it''s a different situation for the vampire body. My soul is the darkness but this body is not. Same thing goes for my soul weapon. I''m pretty sure once i turn ten i won''t be able to summon it. But i have that already figured out. Once i turn ten my control over the void should be good enough to create an void blood bound weapon. It shouldn''t take me long to make two good daggers once i have more control over the void. But i will deal with it when the time comes. Right now it''s night outside, perfect time for vampires to go hunting. I was planning to sneak out and to inspect the creatures that are in this forest but that plan died shortly after i found out that every night my dad goes hunting and guarding. Only then would you pull out your weapon to fight the creature. The runner are a bit stronger, normal runners are middle second ranked monsters. When the Well zoomed in Hisrom saw something which he wished he didn''t. In one of the castle halls there was a cell that was full of children. All of those children were chained to the wall unable to move. Most of them were boys while the others were girls that looked like boys, their haircuts and everything matched boys the only reason i can tell gender is because my eyes of truth. Their ages were between what looked like ten to fifteen. Some of the children were missing an arm or an leg while other just stared at the wall lifelessly. Hisrom stared at the Well with eyes wide open. Shocked. How could they treat their own like this? What is the purpose of this? Why not just free the children. Slowly a tears started to run down his eyes. As the Giver he mostly sees the happy families. Why?! What did those children ever do to be treated like this! -Flashback- I''m so happy that i got born into one of those happy families. But as we leave my uneasy feeling doesn''t leave me. The forest looks normal. After walking for about 2 hours to hours no monsters appeared. Which made me wonder, when my dad looks for food he find monsters within minutes. Does he have some kind of a skill that shows where the monsters are at? If i could use my darkness i would be able to sense anything that is within the dark on this whole planet, but that''s not the case. I''m unable to use the darkness nor void to detect my enemies right now. So i should probably figure out what this skill is, asking might seem weird, Especially if the question is coming from a four year old. After going for another hour i received something.

I barely received any stamina during my sword training that because i don''t have the body that i can push to my limit, basically moving on your feet gives you stamina much easier. I regret not practicing stances now. Those involve a lot of movement. I also noticed something. When me and dad were taking an break i closely inspected dad. And noticed that sometimes suddenly he would look towards a random direction. I figured that he noticed something moving. * Is it the wind?* Wind can also be used as detection but as far as i know my father doesn''t have that high knowledge of the wind if i remember wind detection would need much higher rank then warrior. Is it the blood thirst? But that would be impossible. I''m 500% sure that i would notice it better then anyone. Is he spreading out his qi? Nope i would notice that too. Sadly mana and qi detection are still a nope for me because i have a very low amount of them in my body at the moment and i used up all of my rai and i won''t gain any rai for at least ten or so years, i need higher cultivation for that. But what gave me the biggest hint was when we started walking again. Dad would only turn his head and look at an direction after he took a step. Only one thing came to my mind then. It''s earth! Not magic, but simply a honed skill. Dad is using the waves from the earth to detect other things. It''s simple. Why haven''t thought about it before. I''m so stupid.. In my past life i didn''t need such a skill since it had some flows and why would i use the lowest of the low when i had the highest? You can''t detect anything that flies or something that moves very carefully. Now that i have figured it out all that''s left is to learn it. It shouldn''t be that hard. The concept behind it is very easy. Every time something touches the earth is leaves a impact, and that impact sends out waves through the earth. Very easy indeed. I''m pretty sure most people would have it. But i don''t think any high ranked people have it since there are many more detection skill/spells with almost no flows.

But that''s not all i gained. From all this walking with very short and little breaks i was pushing myself to keep up with dad, to the point where i almost used my void enhancement. Which wouldn''t be so wise considering that the experiment back at home resulted that i could use the void enhancement only once per day. After that i would faint. Void enhancement doesn''t use any mana or qi it solely uses the persons stamina. So this is also perfect for that. Also the stats i gained was.

I didn''t see this stats on moms window, i might be on the more advanced version of it but for now i don''t care that much about that stats, all i want to do now is some experiments to see if i can gain new skills or spells. Mom used mana for her attacks while dad used qi. My mom uses fire magic while my dad uses wind sword arts and warrior qi arts. So my guess is that i will maybe gain high fire affinity from my mom and a bit of wind affinity from my dad. But that''s just me guessing. -Dad: Hisse come. Much smaller then the deers that come to my mind. They were so cute that i wanted to catch one just so i could cuddle with it. Wonder what they taste like? It was fine. A assassin like approach. But a bit more aggressive approach would fit more. Just jumping out while summoning his sword would be much better. Like this the deers had some head start when thy heard the sword summoning. i give him 2 out of 10 points. There are much easier and smarter approaches that would allow him to take the whole flock down. Why go back with only 3 deers when you can go back with all 12 of them. Below me i could smell the flesh being burnt. As i descended i hid myself in a tree. Concealing my presence. I looked down to see what was happening. In the corner there was a man laying there. It looked like he was unconscious. Red eyes and pale skin. * A vampire * In front of the man was a alpha deer. A matured one at that. Things were not looking good for the man. As it seemed that he was about to become deer food. Suddenly i sensed a presence from the tree infront of me. The presence was strong yet weak, full yet empty. I never sensed someone like this. The presence on the tree showed himself just seconds later. It was a child. And the man on the ground seemed to be his father. The fight between the child and the alpha didn''t last long. The child showed no mercy. I have never seen a child that strong at his age. He did everything perfectly. Like it was all accurately planned. After the short fight the aura around the boy could no longer be considered that of a child. It was cold. Cold enough that even i felt a chill running down my spine. But it was only then that i saw the child''s true colors. After the child had beaten the alpha he went towards it. He had two weird black colored daggers. When the boy got close enough to the alpha he stabbed the two daggers sideways under it''s skin. He then proceeded to slowly skin the poor creature. Slice after slice. The boy looked like an skilled butcher. The alpha screams echoed throughout the forest. After he skinned the poor alpha it was still alive. I wanted to kill it with my earth magic out of pity but it was then i felt something. What if i anger the boy? Sudden fear struck me out of nowhere. I remembered the aura around the boy and felt true fear. * What kind of aura was that?! A mere child shouldn''t be able to give out such a menacing aura that even a rank 2 master mage would fear it!'' That kind of aura was not of this planet, I then continued to watch what happened to the alpha. The boy slowly and skillfully sliced chunk after chunk from it''s body. He sliced all the meat on it''s limbs making the bones visible. He then proceeded on to it''s face. The alpha no longer released any screams. It had already passed the limit of pain it could bear. Still releasing small weeps the deer¡äs mind had already been broken broken by the unbelievable amount of pain. I did mostly train my stamina after that incident because i noticed that when i use my void skill it drains a crazy amount of stamina. I also tried to increase my void power. After using my void skill at least once before i go to sleep for the past 2 months i''m now able to use my void skill and not pass out. But i would still feel extremely tired after using it. I can also make it last longer. But at most i can hold it for 4 hours. After 4 hours i will pass out. 3 hours is the recommended limit. I was still able to summon my two void daggers. They couldn''t devour anything but i was still able to train with them. What i gained from my training with the daggers was dagger mastery, knife mastery, Basic Kridom dagger art and Basic Hisroms Void dagger arts. The Kridom are kinda low leveld but i don''t recommend to use my own arts any time soon.. I just did some basic movements and gained my own arts.... It felt kind of weird when i saw my own name..... But at the same time i was happy about it. But now i can at the very least defend myself from danger. -Mom: Hisse! Dinner is ready!- I went out of my room and sat myself with my family. And started to eat the Trapper bird that mom cooked. -Mom: Honey, you know that your birthday is soon coming up?- -Me: Yes mom.- -Mom: This time we will hold a ceremony. The ceremony is something every vampire must do at the age of 5. It''s been a year since i gained my status. Since then i started training like crazy. On daylights i try to gain knowledge on fire so far i the first barrier and that is getting the middle knowledge of fire. Thanks to that i broke through 2 level in my mana cultivation. I haven''t been cultivating so much this past year mostly training my body and trying to upgrade my fire which was easy and hard at the same time thanks to my knowledge. But now i can''t seem to go up on it. I can''t remember. Something is definitely wrong with my soul at the moment. It''s no whole. But it we will figure that out later. Maybe it''s for the better that it''s this way. The upgrade on my fire made my fireballs three times bigger then the usual but compared to moms they are 10 time times weaker in firepower. Training my body has made my control and access over the void bigger. Void basically drains life force and not mana. The more stamina and vitality one has the more one can use it. Sadly it seems that now that my soul has been chipped apart that my memories are all over the place. That''s probably why my int and wis shot ???. Right now i can use Void enhancement up to 5 hours and still be fine with no problems. After 8 hours of using that skill i will faint. So now i train void every day for 5 hours. After using the skill i sleep longer, around 6-8 hours. It''s pretty much give and take. I use it to upgrade my status faster while i lose 4 hours. I''m also able to utilize more of my void now. Not that long ago i got the skill Void Sense. It senses the soul so you pretty much can''t escape it. So now i use this and medium wave detection all the time. It''s very weak now from when i used it before. It was able to sense the whole universe. Right now it''s reduced to only 3 meters. But still, i do feel kind of bad. People train their whole life for a skill like this. To be able to sense someone¡¯s presence, no matter if they are strong or weak. The 3 meters are better then nothing for having the most powerful detection skill in the universe. But again.. I''m really cheating, am i not?? The older i grow the stronger i get. I''m still unable to do anything with darkness. When the time comes and i''m able to use my darkness again, The Astral King and the head of the DIrkas clan will suffer like no one before. But for now i will just enjoy myself with my family. -Hisse: Wonder if i''m almost out of mom''s sense?- Saying that a shiver runs down my spine and i don''t go any deeper into the forest. I''ve been running through the forest the whole morning trying to upgrade my stamina. I did come across some hunter rabbits but with the daggers they were nothing. The hunter rabbits are great when it comes to training. They are fast, i usually just chase them around. Because of the chasing and never giving up i gained a little willpower. I did once run into a alpha hunter rabbit ( Something that leads the flock or basically the boss of it''s kind) but i didn''t want to risk it so i just ran away. I know i might sound like a coward but i really don''t want to get into any trouble. Running back home wasn''t that hard. I have pretty much been everywhere around the house. I remember every part of this forest that''s around the house. So far i have only once gone out of my mom''s sense. But it was worth it. Thanks to that i found the limit of how far i could go. But i would never do it again.... When i arrived back home there wasn''t much to see, dad was sharpening some knives that mom probably made him do. And if i remember no one below emperor rank is able to refine mana into pure mana. Unless she owns some kind of a really and i mean REALLY powerful artifact...then it''s impossible. I''ve been living in this house for 7 years. Been to every corner of it never found anything. Pity that mana refining artifacts don''t need souls to work otherwise i would be able to find it with my Void sense. -Hisse: Don''t worry mom i won''t stay for so long again, i promise.- Special skill: Puppy eyes! I thought that growing stronger would increase the link, but it didn''t even grow a tiny bit. That did make me wonder what''s going to happen when i reach the age of 10. So far neither magic nor body improvement strengthen the link. "SShhhh""SShhhh" I summon forth my Void daggers and look at them. -Hisse: I should focus on getting this body stronger. For now i''ll stop with the magic training completely. Having this much Fire, Water and Wind should be enough. I need to grow stronger to unlock my Void more. Need these two babies to be able to devour.- But the thing that i worry about the most is what the cost of it will be. If Void enhancement has such strong effects on my body after using it then what''s devour going to cost? It''s something that eats almost anything. Even the sharpest blade in the universe would bend in shame if the rustiest blade was to be enhanced with Void devour. Void devour can not only be used on weapons but on body parts as well, but i''m guessing for me to do that i''ll need mostly 10 years. Even after that i might only be able keep it up for an hour. That''s why in this life daggers are my weapons of choice. They are small. When Void enhancement is applied on them they will slice through anything. More like eat through anything, but still. That''s why i''m going to focus on agility, stamina and vitality. Of course i will focus on strength too but not as much as i will on those three. Intelligence and wisdom are still locked for thanks to my soul. Darkness and Void are infinite yet it feels like i have nothing. But this is fine. This kind of life is perfect. I run down to where I last saw that alpha rabbit hunter. I look around and it didn¡¯t seem it was there. The other rabbit jumps in alert and gets ready to thrust forward with his horn. -Hisse: No you won¡¯t!- Before he jumped at me I rushed towards it. I open both of my arms and swing in wards. ¡°Sweeesh¡± The rabbit¡äs head falls down on the ground and its horn sticks on the ground. It almost looked like it got impaled. -Hisse: Hahahaha. Can¡¯t wait!- I look around to see if there are more rabbits but sadly there are none. *If only my Void sense was longer I could hunt with no problems* Looking around for a bit more I found nothing. I go back to where I killed the other two rabbit and slice of their horns. -Hisse: I don¡¯t remember the last time I had this much joy. First I get born into this kind of a family and now I¡¯m getting a sibling! Pity my range is small otherwise everything inside this area would be dead by now.- Feeling full of joy I start going back home. It¡¯s been almost an hour since I left so they should be done by now and my time limit is also almost over. When I got inside they both seemed to be asleep. This would be the perfect time to see if there¡¯s a mana refining artifact around but sadly if mom was to hide something like that she would probably hide it is their bedroom. Feeling very happy I run upstairs to my room and bring out the two horns. -Hisse: Time to make a artifact!- Chapter 13: A break from training Done! Enjoy the chapter! ------------------------------------------------------------------ Today i woke up at early night time. I¡¯ve been waking up like this for the last half year. The reason behind this is that I can put on the two magic bracelets that I made from the magic horns and start my early training. I thought about making two link rings. The rings would be connected by my soul but after thinking if it would be possible given my power there was a huge chance of failure so I made the mana storage bracelets. The bracelets are super easy to make, it¡¯s just that the process of making them is accompanied by a few problems. You have to pour mana into them until they are able to hold mana and you can¡¯t fire of any spells that would break the link. Experts are able to make them rather easy, but sadly this body of mine isn¡¯t that great yet. This can take time but luckily the first bracelet on my left hand started storing mana after only 2 months and the other on the right hand after 4 months. The rabbit horn bracelet are not able to store that much mana into them, the amount they can store being about the amount needed for one 5th rank spell. But they don¡¯t take that much time to recharge, only about a week. It has now been 5 months since I made them. A month after making the bracelets mom told me that she is pregnant. I tried my best to act surprised but still the joy I felt got the best of me so there was no need too. Since then mom has started going out and walking around. She¡¯s very happy that she¡¯s getting another child. Father is also very happy. Now he doesn¡¯t hunt as much and spends much more time in the house. I was forced to stop my training to help around with the chores, which I don¡¯t mind. My revenge can wait forever, family comes first. Since then I made almost no progress in gaining more status. The only status I gain now is agility and stamina. Sometimes I even do the hunting but the hunts are mostly close to the house and the pray is most hunter rabbits that¡¯s why I don¡¯t gain so much status. I also noticed that it¡¯s getting harder and harder to gain more points in status. Now only once every two weeks I would gain agility while stamina would increase every once a week. Storing mana gained me a breakthrough in magic. But I really have to do something about that luck¡­ How do you even increase luck? I¡¯ll figure that out later.. For now I¡¯ll just focus on washing the dishes. The chores around the house are not that hard. Dad is mostly staying with mom so that she doesn¡¯t feel lonely. Dad told me that when women are pregnant they need to be handled with a lot of care, with which I agree. Right now my mother has been pregnant for 4 and ? months and her belly is very big. She can barely bend down. So a week ago she stopped taking her daily walks. I try to do my best to do the chores and spend time with my family. The training can wait until my brother/sister is around 3 years old, until then I will spend every second of my time being together with him/her. Last night we talked about names. My mom decided that if it¡¯s a girl I will choose the name. And if it¡¯s a boy dad will since mom choose my name. I already have a name in mind, Lea. If I get a little sister I want her name to be Lea. I already said that to mom and she said that it was a beautiful name. My dad is still deciding. For now he thinks that he will name him Aron. I like the name Aron as well it sounds like a name of someone powerful and I want my future little brother to be powerful. After going downstairs I see the pile of dishes that have been unwashed and start washing them before I take my bath. You don¡¯t feel the heat but the others do. But, ignition can also be a powerful spell. The more mana you pour into it the stronger it becomes. For example, warriors in the past that had high mana instead of using their ki they used ignition on their blades. Those who were very strong were able to cut through some of the strongest materials. Though casting it on other things can take some training, with some time I mean 4 to 10 years. You have to completely master ignition. Those who are talented can shorted the time to 2 years if they train very hard. I¡¯ve seen my mother do it before. She would cast ignition on her blade to cut through the meat easier. After 5 minutes bubbles start to appear on the surface of the tub and I know that the water is hot enough. Even if it was too hot I do have fire resistance since the fire element is on my side. As for how much fire resistance I have that I do not know. Maybe it will appear on my 10th birthday. Taking of my cloths and stepping into the bath feels very nice. While sitting down in the tub I start looking at my own reflection. The shoulder long black hair, the red eyes and my childish face. My mom tells me that I have a very cute face, she said that It looks very cute and innocent. Arggg.. Cute maybe. But innocent? I don¡¯t think so. I wonder what she would say if she found out the truth. Bleh.. Let¡¯s get past those thoughts¡­ My past doesn¡¯t matter anymore, well it does but still¡­ I¡¯d rather not worry about it now. There does seem to be a legend even on this planet about me. On this planet they call me The Serpent of Demise. And as the legend also tells that I left 20 weapons on this planet that only those worthy are able to wield. When I first heard of the name Serpent of Demise I thought that it might be someone else. But when I heard that he left 20 weapons I knew it was me. I used to do such things back then. Making strong weapons and leaving them to those who are strong. I tried to suck out every bit of fun I can have out of them. But I don¡¯t ever remember being on this planet. Maybe some of the Overlords brought them over here. Overlord is the fourth highest ranking one can have. The reason I¡¯m assuming that it was an Overlord is because only those who are of that rank are able to drop that weapon. Anyone of higher rank is unable to wield the weapons I make, simply because they would be able to rule 1/3 of the universe if they were the fuse the weapon with their own soul weapon. The soul weapons are the very reflection of our souls. Once someone is at the age of 10-15 they should be able to summon their soul weapon. The soul weapons have a ranking of their won. A soul weapon can go into stage 3, 2 and 1. The stage 1 is what you call the ultimate form of the weapon. The weapons that I left are created to be fused with the soul weapons. The soul weapon will transform and receive new form of stages and it will become 10 if not 100 times more powerful. Those who don¡¯t thirst for battle can¡¯t fuse my weapons to their soul. Soul weapons come in shape of our souls. The shape that is most suited for us to use. Once they are formed at the age 10-15 they can¡¯t transform unless they go up a stage. For example my soul weapon at stage 3 is a katana, stage 2 the katana becomes longer and just by looking at it you would get scared to the core of your soul. At stage 1¡­ The scythe. The scythe is my greatest masterpiece. It is something which can destroy this universe if it gained a will of its own. Though I¡¯m sure Gaia would just restore it again¡­ If the Overlord doesn¡¯t drop the weapon they won¡¯t be able to make any progress in ranking up. But they would still be able to become a peak level Overlord. So I¡¯m assuming that the one that dropped of these weapons must have been a peak level Overlord. The legend also tells that the Serpent of Demise was defeated by the High God Thriox that this planet is named after. Well whatever, not that I care that much. But I would like to meet this Thriox and slap him¡­. A couple trillion times.. After being done with my bath I step out to dry myself. For that I use my water magic. I just remove all the water of my body. It¡¯s called water manipulation. It¡¯s exactly as the names tells. You manipulate water, though my control over it is not that great I can still remove it from my hair and body. After doing that I put on a new set of cloths and get ready to do some hunting. After saying that I¡¯m going hunting to my mom and dad I step outside. ¡°Kshhhhhh¡± -Hisse: Dammit, why does it have to rain just as I step outside.- Seeing the heavy rain I lost my will to hunt. -Hisse: Looks like more chores are the only things I will do tonight.- Chapter 14: The struggle and the confusion Sigh¡­. *Rabbits and runners are no challenge for me at all* Right now i was preparing the two runners that I hunted to take home. Mom has been pregnant for 8 months, on mom¡¯s 7th month of pregnancy, mom told me to take some time for myself and go outside and play, so I did. It was also the time that I switched from hunting hunter rabbits to hunting runners. At the beginning it was fun, it took some time to catch them. But right now the runners show no challenge at all. Two months ago my bracelets got fully charged so I was allowed to use magic. Sadly, hunting with magic is no fun at all. ¡°Stab¡°¡±Slice¡± *Runners really are weak in their necks* Cutting off the runners head I then tie both of their feet together and prepare to drag them home. From hunting runners not much status was gained besides agility and stamina. By running around and chasing all these runners I gained 13 agility and 21 stamina. Those two were the easiest stats to gain while strength and vitality were not so easy anymore. The total strength I gained in the past month is only 2, I also gained the same amount of vitality. Not bad I guess. Stamina is the first stat to hit 100. It feels good that stamina is the first to hit 100 but I also want to train my vitality. Stamina and vitality determine how long I am able to use my Void ability. Putting the rope that holds the runners over my shoulder I then proceed to drag them. The wood path is clear so dragging them home should be no trouble though some vines can get in the way here and there, other than that it¡¯s super easy. After 5 minutes of dragging I start to hear a weird noise. I hear ¡°Slurp¡±¡±Crack¡±¡±Shrck¡± it sounded like something was ripping the flesh of something else. I drop the rope and quietly sneak up to the bush next to where i hear the sound from to see what¡¯s happening and there I see it. The monster is two times larger than that of a normal runner. It has large claws on its feet and the feathers are gray not black like that of a normal runner. I look above the monsters head and I see this.
Alpha Runner
* Alpha runner!! A rank 4 beast! * Feeling excited I try to get closer. This was my time to try and test myself. Moving close the alpha didn¡¯t seem to notice me. When I got only 5 meters away from it the alpha suddenly turned its head my way and looked at me. *Well, fuck* -Alpha: SCREEEEEEEEEEECH!- The alpha runner released a very high pitched cry revealing its teeth. The teeth looked ten times sharper than that of a normal runner. The runner started closing in on me in high speed, I summoned forth my dagger while activating my enhancement. When the alpha got closer to me, he opened his mouth and tried to bite my right hand. The speed at which the alpha moved was really astonishing, I could barely react to his attack. I realized that moving the hand out of the way was not a option, if I did that my chest area would be exposed, instead I deflected with my dagger in my left hand while only suffering a small after shock from the attacks power. The attack was no weak in any way. The alpha runner wasn¡¯t like the alpha deer, the deer didn¡¯t have this much strength in its attacks but it was able to wield magic. This alpha had very powerful physical attacks and from the looks, it wasn¡¯t able to wield magic. I wanted to use the ignition spell on my dagger but I wasn¡¯t sure if it would be of any help at this level that my mana pool is at. Not just that but if I poured to much mana into it and plus using my vitality and stamina to hold the enhancement ability I¡¯m pretty sure that the aftermath would be bone breaking. The alpha stopped running and threw his left claw at me. The claw was even faster then it¡¯s bite attack, it gazed my left hand but I managed to counter with my right. It was weird, I thought the skin would be harder but instead the dagger sliced right through and left a large wound on the alphas left leg. *I see, so for the speed and strength it has no defense* Now that I realized the ups and downs of my prey I was the one attacking. I held my daggers tight and ran towards the alpha, the alpha didn¡¯t seem scared of the sudden defense to offense change, no. Instead the alpha started running right at me. He opened his mouth and tried to bite me but I crossed my daggers and its upper jaw was only a few millimeters away from my neck. The alpha put even more strength behind his attack trying to push forth his upper jaw a little further Sadly for him with my void enhancement my defense was solid. The alpha seemed to realize that and the pressure loosened, I saw right through what the alpha was going to do next. The alpha tried to yet again attack me with its feet claws. Seeing through its attack I knew that he could not put much more pressure in its bite attack so I took my right dagger away from the defensive stance and aimed right for the neck while dragging my body to the right side hence dodging its left leg. The alpha held more intelligence then other runners, it attacked me with its wounded leg hence when my dagger was about to pierce through its neck it jumped to the left side but it lost its balance while falling and fell on the ground. -Hisse: ARGHH! Away with you!- These status screens are staring to annoy me now. When the screens finally disappeared I once again was about to jump at the alpha but my instincts told me not to. I stopped and looked at the alpha only to realize that it had a red aura around him. *Not magic. Is it going berserk? Haha¡­.This just keeps getting more and more fun* And it seemed as my thought was right. The alpha did go berserk. -Alpha runner: SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH!!!!- This time its voice was even higher. It truly did sound as a voice of a mad beast. -Hisse: What¡¯s wrong? Going mad over a flash wound?- The alpha stood up and started to charge at me at even greater speed then before. Only this time you could clearly see that it wasn¡¯t thinking at all. When the alpha got close to me it started attacking madly, no break to retreat from its attacks at all. The attacks it threw at me only 60% of them were on me while the other missed. It didn¡¯t even aim anywhere specific and thus small wounds started to appear all over my body. *This can¡¯t go on for much longer, I¡¯m switching to magic* I had to use magic, the body of a 6 year old is unable to take on something with this speed sadly. -Hisse: The earth beneath my feet hear my voice and respond to it: Earth binding!-

Perfect! After saying the chant you could see the ground raise up and coil around the alphas right and left leg. The binding wasn¡¯t really that strong so it was only a moment of time before the alpha broke free from the binding so I decided to use this chance to my fullest. I deflected attacks with my left hand which was more wounded then my right. With my right hand I made the dagger disappear into the void again and decided to finally test something. *Here it goes* I poured a very large amount of my qi into my right hand. And with high speed punched the alpha below its neck and jumped away now that I had my chance. I felt the muscles in my right hand rip apart. *To soon¡­. Should¡¯ve just stabbed it¡­ This pain was not worth whatever the result might be* The alpha didn¡¯t move now, the binding was already broke but the alpha just stood the. ¡°Crack¡± After a second or two the area where I punched the alpha slowly started to decay. ¡°Thud¡± Finally the alpha fell to the ground with half of is body missing, the neck was barely attached and the feet were gone. -Hisse: Never mind¡­ This was worth it. But still using the Death arts is still too soon. I don¡¯t even feel my right arm anymore.- The aftermath of using the death arts was truly too big. After going close to inspect the alpha It was rather disgusting to look at. The insides that were not decayed were slowly gliding down from its stomach. *Shit¡­I can¡¯t take it home now* I faceplamed at that thought. I was originally planning to take it home and make mom and dad proud. -Hisse: Ohh darn¡­ Well at least the head is still in one peace.- Right before I was about to bend down and cut the head of a large amount of blue screens appeared.

But still¡­ 7th stage martial apprentice should be really high at this age. But I¡¯m pretty sure if I didn¡¯t take the break I would be a solder by now. After calming down I then returned to the cutting yet again only to see the entire FREAKING alpha already decayed away¡­. Too bad monsters can¡¯t use healing magic. At this level I¡¯m pretty sure that you can revert the decaying or if you have a mana shield around yourself the mana shield would take the attack on instead and decay. Feeling disappointed and happy for the stats I gained I deactivate my enhancement and use the most basic water healing magic. I take the water flask of my belt and pour some water on my right arm. -Hisse: Basic water heal!- (AN: As you can see my naming is still the same hehe.) The water on my right arm disappears and I¡¯m able to move it now but the pain is still there. *Good, the bruises are gone* I do this with all my bruised body parts. The solders that recovered from their daze now seemed to realize what was happening and started charging at the boy, yet the fear of what they have seen still remained. *Slice**Slice**Slice* The boys dagger sliced through everything. As i have finally finished killing the filth i start walking towards the three that are behind all this. Printus is just standing there not even try to resist the chains, not that he could even if he tried. He and the king are just standing there trembling with fear. A planet that has produced over a thousand Lesser Gods in the past 2 million years and from that of those 1000 only 56 managed to become Full Gods and only 12 became Over Gods. No Overlords yet. 2 are close to breakthrough. Therax so far has become the core of this universe besides the " Stupid red piece of shit". Please don''t ask about it now.. The ancients voted for it to be called so... It was either that or the " Sleeping Idiots planet.- -Hisse: I don''t care what they call it really, but you do realize that so far your so called God creating planet has done nothing then created a few more front line solders. In one more year the status screen will go and i think the panic it will bring forth will be on a massive scale. On your last battle you broke through a part of your seal. The destroyed planets it left behind after getting broken will clearly show the power that returned to you when you get back. You must grow stronger. I''ve been away for a long time, things in life changed and kinda had a restart in life. Anyway, the people who read the story have prolly forgotten about it and i mostly want to apologize for that. The story has been on my mind many times and i''ll be hones i also forgot about RR for a good amount of time. But i''ve been thinking about countinuing the story but i just doesn''t feel right since many people probably forgotten about it. I''ve already rewritten the story one so i''ve been thinking. A. Continue where i left of. B. Save all the chapter, delete all the posted chapters. Start rewritting them and posting them at the normal pace. ( The changes in the rewrites won''t be that big, mostly fixing the grammer and plot holes, deleteing the status screen that shouldn''t be there in the first place more smoothly, getting a bigger, wider look at magic (making the story sound less cringy(jk i will cringe the shit outta ya)) etc.etc.)You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author. C. Start the story completely over. D. Kinda like C but delete this stuff and make a whole new story that has nothing to do with this one.
