Life has never been fair to Theo. From the moment he began to know what''s wrong and right, all he ever witnessed was fights between his abusive parents---his mother was drug abuser while his father was an alcoholic. Sometimes, they would even forget to come home for several days, even if they did come home, they would smack him across the room mericlesslyor kick him in the abdomen relentlessly. So...how did he survive? Apparently, his neighbour was a caring old lady who would often come to take care of Theo. Whenever she saw his bruises, she would try to call the police but to no avail. The people living in that particular area are simply rotten to the core---calling them inhumane is an understatement. Hence, abuse, rape and murder are just daily occurances and criminal cases have been piling up in the police department, to the extent that some even live in the department. At age 8, the caring old lady passed away due to old age and from that moment on, Theo was then left in the darkness all over again---he didn''t even get to know her name. since then, he began to take on part-time jobs to pay for his education and daily necessities.If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. At age 15, his parents were murdered due to the debt they owed to several crime syndicate. They did not even have a proper burial as who is crazy enough to spend their money on someone whohad abused them for their entire lives. Moreover, organisng a funeral is insanely expensive and not everyone can afford it. ''Life is really great huh, giving me shit every single damn day in this god forsaken world'' Theo thought to himself while he opens the door to his apartment. ''!!!!Didn''t I lock the door when I leave, why is it unlocked???!!!I hope it''s not a break in.'' Heart racing, pulse increasing, hands shaking, Theo pushed open the door and gave out a relieve sigh. Everything was in order, the furnitures remain in the same place as before, just when Theo closed the door, he felt a sharp pain in his back and when he looked down, the daggerhas penetratedhis back, emerging out from the front. As Theo stared blankly at his crimson blood dripping down from the dagger, staining the floor red, he heard a rough voice of a man in his thirties, "Boy...if you want to blame, blame your parents". As he removed the dagger, he continued,"In this cruel world, it is the survival of the fittest...if you are not strong, then you will die. Hahaha funny me saying all this now...Rest well...Boy..." As Theo stared at the man in shock and fury, he felt really COLD, followed by the darkening of his vision. ''Is this death? HAHAHA...it feels really cold, yet warm at the same time'' Theo then closed his eyes and lay in the pool of blood. Chapter 1 Theo found himself floating in the darkness, he felt no emotions, neither anger nor sadness. Just nothing. Emptiness. Heh, is this the afterlife? Maybe death itself isn''t so bad...WHAT THE FUCK MAN As Theo thought to himself, he heard a deafening BOOM in the distance, yet it felt so close, like it''s surrounding him. In that moment, Theo felt a tinge of panic due to the cacophonous sound, and his panic only increased as the space around started to distort and strands of white light started to appear in the distance. He then felt a suction force pulling him towards the white light at a tremendous pace, as Theo neared the light, he could hear faint sounds of chains rattling and the constant sound of something wooden hitting a stone floor. With just some distance apart from the light, Theo could almost make out the shape to be somewhat similar to a realm portal. However, as Theo got closer to the light, it''s instensity blinded him, forcing him to close his eyes. When Theo reopened his eyes, the first thing his eyes registered was the chain on his hands and legs which restricted his movements. After taking a good look at his surroundings, he realised that he was in a large cage on a carriage that was used to transport goods, he then saw several other people in the same state as him; their arms and legs were chained together and they wore ragged and dirty clothes. After noticing majority of them were females and children while the rest was males, he could not help but wonder what kind of shit he had gotten himself into. "Young man, you have finally woken up huh...Sigh...how unlucky." After noticing Theo has woke up, a shriveled old man next to Theo spok in a hoarse voice. "Hmm? What happened? Where am I? Why am I chained?" Theo was surprised at the old man for initiating a coversation with him as the atmosphere was dark and depressing, which caused him to blurt out a bunch of questions at the first instinct. "Ohh, you must not have known this but the slave traders found you on the side of the road and assumed you must be a runaway slave due to the mark on your chest." Upon saying this, he pulled apart his shirt and revealed a gruesome paw tattoo branded onto his skin. He continued, "Whoever has the mark belongs to the slaves of the BeastHunter Guild. Upon purchasing any slaves, they will be branded to be identified as owned slaves. When you were unconscious, I overheard the slave traders saying that they will sell you as an unowned slave, it means that you will be put on sale once we reached the kingdom of Hastyrel, that''s where we are going right now...try to get some sleep child, it''s not gonna be an easy journey."The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. After thanking the old man for giving him some information on his predicament, Theo started to fret once more as he thought ''What is going on? why the hell am I a slave? I must be reincarnated into another world right? Or is it transported? Ugh...I don''t know anymore...''The anxious Theo could not help but kept on coming up with several assumptions but alas, he could not outlast the weariness and finally gave in to sleep. "BANG! BANG! BANG!" The sound of a metal rod hitting the cage woke Theo up from his sleep. Theo reluctantly opened his drowsy eyes and scanned his surroundings; He was in a much smaller cage now in some sort of secluded alley. There standing in front of him, was a well-dressed man trying to advertise his "merchandise" to a bunch of fancifully-dressed poeple, presumably nobles. As Theo glanced up, he made eye contact with a noble who was wearing an elegant and well-made clothing while his face was just ugh(let''s be nice and just say it is a complete, total, 180 degrees of his clothes). His hands were occupied as he was busy rubbing them against the butt of 2 female demi-humans. The demi-humans had a human body with cat ears and tails, making them extremely cute and adorable.The noble smacked his lips as he raised his proud finger and pointed at Theo saying, "I want him." "Alright sir. It will be 100 gold." "What the...are you trying to scam me??? Even they are worth only 20 gold" He argued as he pointed to his demi-humans. "I''m sorry sir, but they are demi-humans. He is a human which is worth much more."-slave trader "I don''t care!! 90 gold or I will kill your family. You must know that my father is a Baron of The Emerald City."-Noble "Deepest apologies sir but I don''t have a family."-slave trader "I will kill you then."-Noble Using his "negotiation" skills, the slave trader sold Theo to the noble for 90 gold. Upon gaining his goods, he ordered one of his guards to brand Theo while the other 2 guards hold him down. As the red hot branding iron came closer, Theo tried his best to convince himself that it was all a dream and it will all end soon, but contrary to his expectations, he feltan excruciating pain from his chest as the branding iron came into contact with the skull tattoo and he grimaced at the pain. Eventually, Theo could not hold back the pain anymore as screamed and struggled, trying to escape the pain but his efforts were futile. Tears started flowing out from his eyes and stained his face. However, despite the pain and suffering, he looked at the noble with intense hatred and wrath. When it had all ended, Theo collapsed-unconscious from the pain. But before he collapsed, two texts appeared before him and a robotic voice sounded out. [Passive skill gained. Hatred. Add 10 to stamina.] [Passive skill gained. Wrath. Add 10 to strength.] "implementing first time skills into host"-successful "placing restictions due to unknown element"-failed "Forcing restrictions"-??? . . "removing all restrictions" Chapter 2 The room was silent and dark, filled with mysteriousness and dread. The room was shaped like a cube and each side takes about 4 steps to complete. It makes one imagine how can a human possibly survive here before going crazy. As the Grim Reaper paced slowly yet steadily towards the boy, its aura of death made the boy flinched and he quicklythrashedhimself against the corner of the room hoping that it would give way, allowing him to escape from it. Yet, it walked slowly, with no means to hurry. Then. It stopped. And reached out its skeletal fingers. It was then at that point, the boy screamed.
Theo woked with a sudden jerk from the floor, sweat running down his face. This is the fifth time having the nightmare ever since the branding and it has been happening repeatedly every night. Theo scanned the room carefully and upon making sure that he was not dreaming, he heaved a sigh of relief. For the past few days, he had been forced to work to the brink of exhaustion and was given a small loaf of bread to last him for 3 days. Of course, it would turn sour at most after 2 days, hence he was also eating mold in the process. Theo learned that there a total of 4 kingdoms connected by land, they are namely, Kingdom of Elixhr, ruled by elves, Kingdom of Hastyrel, ruled by humans, Kingdom of Tema, ruled by demi-humans and lastly, Kingdom of Xcres, ruled by the dwarfs. From little of what he heard, Hastyrel is allianced with Xcres and trade has been blooming among the 2 kingdoms, while both Elixhr and Tema stand alone. The latter 2 kingdoms prefer isolation and peace and thus, decided to distant themselves from the other kingdoms, protecting their sovereignity. After Theo had been enslaved and was bought by the despicable noble, he was send to work in the Lamen Manor owned by the Lamen family. The Lamen family consisted of people in the Royal Court, holding a myriad of positions. However, things are not looking good as the unquenchable drought has been robbingthe Kingdom of its precious resources for a decade now, depleting its resources by quite a margin. The commoners were the true victims during this unfortunate period, they were pillaged of their money in secret by some of the nobles so that the nobles were able to throw banquets and parties among themselves. As a result, death is a common occurance as people have been committing suicide, unable to bear the pain. okay. so my shift starts at 5 in the morning and ends at 11 at night. I have 1 hour before it starts. lemme check on the status first.As Theo thought to himself, he gave the status screen a thought and it appeared in front of him. Apparantly, he also learned that he could see his stats like in a game upon coming to this world.

After inspecting his stats, he decided to do some push-ups and sit-ups to train his strength and constitution. For every 50 push-ups, it gives 1 strength . After an hour, Theo gained a total +4 strength and +4 constitution. As the day begin in the household, the servants started to flock to their respective chores, preparing breakfast for the Lamen Family while others will be out in the garden trimming the trees. Theo dragged his feet towards the stone well and began pulling up the bucket of water before carrying it back to the kitchen. After carrying out his first duty, he proceeded to wipe the marble floor along the corridors.
As the 2 demi-humans dressed him in fanciful attire, Vonin Lamen gave a curt remark, urging them to hurry up. Once dressed, he opened his door and he saw a scrawny young boy scrubbing the floor in front of his door. Feeling agitated, he abruptly kicked the boy in his way before voicing out in disgust,"Keep away you filth, can''t believe I dirtied my boots to kick this...thing." After his sudden act of authority, he nonchantaly walked away, without shooting back a second glance. He was the guy that bought Theo. Theo lay on the floor, his face twisted with agony at the pain from the metal in the boots.I WILL KILL HIM. I. WILL. KILL. KILL.Thoughts of murder went through his mind before calming himself down, Theo knew that he is far too weak to do anything right now, for revenge to happen, he must grow strong, the strongest.The survival of the fittest-even a fool knows it. The strong crush the weak. And the weak continues to crumble or rise above all. This is the law of the world. Nearing the end of his shift, Theo sat slumped, at the back of the garden where the plants grew unhindered, having no evidence of any alteration done to keep its growth in check where wearily bit on the somewhat meagre ofbread he has left while quenching his thirst from a muddy puddle. "Hey look, isn''t that the drama queen the young master has bought?" one of the servants remarked as they stumbled upon him. The nickname ''drama queen'' was given to Theo for fainting just from a simple branding, making him seemed weak. "Haha oh yea you''re right. Let''s go check up on him! Hey your highness! How''s your morning with the young master?"-servant B called to Theo while mocking him. Theo silently looked up at the servant with his dark black eyes that seemed to embody the night sky. Seeing no response from Theo, servant B gave Theo a solid punch in the face as he hollered, "DIDN''T YOUR MOTHER TEACH YOU NOT TO DISRESPECT YOUR SENIORS? SHE''S MUST HAVE BEEN A BITCH MAN!!" trying to incur Theo''s rage. To his disappointment, Theo still showed no signs of retaliation, only ice cold stares. "Lads, let''s teach him a lesson!" servant B called out to the others to join in on thefun. "about time!"-servant C "darn right ya"-servant D Several blows landed on Theo''s face, followed by his stomach and legs. After the initial blows, they proceeded to kick and stomp on him, making him puke out his recent dinner. After several minutes of relieving some of their stress, they walked into the distance after gaining a sense of superiority. Theo lay on the floor, while enduring the pain, his thoughts went back to this morning and the previous nights since the first day he came in. He was bullied by other servants-night after night-they would release their pent-up frustration on him like it was his fault. The more Theo thought, the more he gnash his teeth, making grinding sounds which echoed in the dark. His teary eye reflecting a burning fire-the desire for revenge-the desire for strength. Moments later, Theo stood up started to run around in the back garden while the constant pain both internally and externally, fuelled his desire for strength. In that night, Theo ran 10 km, completed 500 push-ups, 500 sit-ups, psuhing his body to his limits. Only did he stopped when he his body could not move anymore. "Title gained! " "Skill gained! [Mind over body] Stamina+10, strength+10" "Hatred skill evolved!" "Wrath skill evolved!" 2/4 conditions met... A series of voice from the system rang out in his mind as he was crawling his way back to his room, however, he was too exhausted to care. Chapter 3-Awakening After a few minutes of meditating, Theo could manage his emotions much better than before and the aching in his muscles started to subside. Letting out a relaxed sigh, Theo decided to check out what he gained from the incident before. However, before opening up his screen, he saw a flashing light at the top right corner of his vision. Curious, he focused on it and in the next moment a series of messages flooded his face. [Skill gained! Mind over body(Stamina+10, Strength+10)] [Title gained! Will bender. You have a greater ability to control and manifest your will than most people.] [Wrath evolved to Extreme Wrath] [Hatred evolved to Extreme Hatred] [Conditions reached! Evolution of next skill available] [Evolved? Y/N] ''...''For a minute, Theo was stunned due to the myriad of skills and information being thrown at him all of a sudden. He immediately regained his composure and ponder about the skills.''Mind over body is so broken man. With this I can easily overpower the city guards...but what about the evolution message?'' However, the more Theo thought about the decision to evolve, the more clueless he got, hence, he clicked [Y] after much hesistation. Instantly, the monotonous voice of the system began to sound in his mind. ---- After the voice, there came a whiring sound which lasted no more than 5 seconds and in front of Theo, was a new message. Upon looking at the new skill, Theo could not help but gawked at the new skill and after clicking on the skill for more information, Theo was speechless. It read[Skill gained! Impending Doom]-You induce fear into other people to paralyze them and your presence shall dominate over the rest. After confirming that the skill is permanent, Theo immediately thanked the system," Ahh, The Almighty System, Thank you for your everlasting kindness. This one is eternally grateful!" He could not contain his excitement as this was after all, his first time. (Not having to feel helpless I mean!!) Theo decided to check his status to see the changes which have been made in the last few minutes. With a slight will of thought, he brought up his status screen.

After a thorough inspection of his status, Theo dark black eyes flashed with a tinge of light before quickly fading away. He was one step closer to revenge. One step closer to his freedom. And for this to happen, he must get strong. Quickly. Before leaving his room for his daily chores, he gave himself one last look in the mirror to make sure everything is in place. Once he ensured that he still looked the same as before, he quickly made his waytowards the kitchenfor his morning chores.
"It''s okay. It''s okay." A female elf said to the small demi-human girl in her arms in a soothing voice. The sobs coming from the small girl started to soften and eventually, coming to a halt. Ever since the small girl was born, all she saw was cages and chains surrounding her, care and love were completely foreign to her. All she remembered was that she is a slave and it is her job to fulfill her master''s orders. In the dark room, 3 girls, a demi-human, an elf and a human, slumped against the corners of the room as if the corners are their comforting haven. They were bounded by chains and it would rattle unceasingly everytime they move. Their clothes were noting more than a piece of cloth; barely enough to cover themselves. Their bodies were covered with numerous wounds and also daubed with a thick layer of filth. Puddles of blood were splattered all over the room. The room itself smelt like death. Just as the 3 girls were about to succumb to their drowsiness, the doors to the cellar were flung open and rays of sunlight poured in, blinding their vision momentarily. "How''s the few days of rest? Hope you all enjoy it." A fancifully-dressed man spoke as he made his way down the stairs, carrying leftover food from the day before. The 3 girls hundled in one corner and shivered with every step the man took. The scene playing out before them was like a starving wolf drooling over his prey as he cornered them. "Come here darling!!" The detestable man exclaimed as he lunged towards the 3 girls, aiming for the small demi-human child. "Ahh!!..."Upon grabbing her, the demi-human felt a huge pain at her arm like it''s about to break and a wave of dread washed over her.''NO! I can''t let her suffer anymore!!I have to do something!''As the female elf thought up to this point, with a swift movement, shehugged herself around the legs of the man and desperately pleaded for him to use her instead.Support the author by searching for the original publication of this novel. "WACK!" With a huge backhand swing, his fist connected to her face whcih caused her to flew over to the side of the room. "HOW DARE YOU TOUCH ME!!" The man hollered out in anger and threatened her to stay down. Despite the pain and threats, she got up and crawlled towards the man, in hope of stopping him, but alas, what can a slave elf do against a fully-grown man. In a fit of rage, he pinned her down on her back and repeatedly puched her face while shouting, "YOU DISGUSTING BITCH..DIE...DIE..DIE!" Gradually, his fist slowed and after a few more heavy punches, he stopped and looked at her bloody and broken face with disdain. Her face was overflowing with fresh red blood coming out of her eyes, nose and mouth, several wounds have swelled up on her face, making her once elegant face beyond recognisable. "Hah Hah Hah," As the man tried to catch his breath and calm himself, he caught sight of the elf''s unclothed body which aroused him like an instantaphrodisiac. Abandoning the demi-human, he pushed her long slender legs back, and thrusted himself inside her. While this process continued for what seemed like ages, he would occasionally whipped and use his dagger to carve onto her, he gained maximum pleasure from it. However, how could her frail body endured this kind of inhumane treatment. After satisfying himself with her body, he threw her away without so much of giving her a second glance and before leaving the cellar satisfied, he gave the small demi-human a cold smile and mouthed, "I''ll be back." By instinct, she shuddered and scurried back to the corner. After he left, the small demi-human quickly rushed the elf''s side, begging her to wake up while her tears dripped onto her face. Watching the tear-stained girl, the elf gave her a weak smile and she said,"Don''t cry my child. Stay strong." with a barely audible voice. Slowly but surely, her vision started to fade and despite several shakes and urges from the demi-human, her body never moved a single muscle anymore-lying there for eternity.
It was 3 months since he gained his skills, Theo has been pushing himself to the limits everyday and when his muscle ache and his mind losing consciousness, he would always remind himself the reason he seeked strength, and press on with his relentless spirit. ''Oh shit, it''s time to clean up vonin''s courtyard again'' as Theo checked the time on his system, he let out a soft sigh and rushed off towards the noble''s courtyard. While Theo was sweeping away the fallen leaves unreluctantly, from the corner of his retina, he noticed a small cellar door near the edge of the walls of the courtyard. It is evident that it has been used recently, as the leaves around it were cleared.Wuahh.. Theo started to hear a soft sobbing sound coming from the cellar and he stealthily made his way towards the cellar. When he reached the cellar door without alerting the occupants inside, he could not hear ocassional rattling of chains and a soft sob every now and then. ''Should I open the door to investigate the crying, but what if...'' As Theo hands hovered over the door handle, he quicky thought up of many scenarios that could and may happen. However, he decided to open the door, even if he was in danger, he can always made in out in time due to his increase in agility and constitution. With beads of sweats covered his forehead, Theo began to steady his hands and grabbed hold of the door handle. He opened it. As Theo made his way down the dark cellar, it only had a few torches that dimly lit the cellar, but still, the tenebrosity shadow threatened to devour the last remaining lights. Almost immediately, a stench of death hit Theo and the scene before him caused him to bend down on his knees. As Theo hold back his vomit, he observed that dried blood was everywhere and in the corner, was 2 girls; one demi-human, one human. Just then, something in the distance caught his eyes, and when he turned to take a closer look, he froze. Right before his eyes lay the elf who has been pushed to her limits and died due to exhaustion and blood loss. Theo could see her disfigured face and the gashes and bruises all over her body. After taking a long look at the elf, Theo realised that she was...no longer alive. Theo shuddered tremendously. He fall onto his knees. No one knows what he was thinking but occasionally, he would shudder so violently that makes one think that he was having a seizure. His thoughts went back to his previous world-He found himself back in his apartment, back when his parents were still alive, back when he was still a kid. "YOU WORTHLESS SHIT...JUST DIE ALREADY!" As his parents took turns to vent their frustration on him by beating at his face and body, they made death remarks about him-as if hoping that their words could kill him. As Theo protected his vitals, he would scream and cry due to the unbearable pain and upon hearing his cries, they would increase the intensity of their blows. After what seemed like eternity, they were done with Theo and left him laying on the floor, his lifeless body, soaked in a pool of blood. Yet, his eyes contain fear, rage, hatred and of course...blood. Since then, it left Theo with a traumatised experience. "YOU!! WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU HERE?! GET THE HELL OUT NOW!! YOU BASTARD!!" A loud booming voice rang out behind Theo, which brought him back to reality. Huh? Oh. It''s Vonin. "Did you do all this?" Theo silently asked with his back facing him. When Vonin saw that Theo did not obey his orders, he was about to teach Theo a nice whipping lesson when Theo asked again, this time, with an air of mysteriousness filled in it,"Did you do all this?" Vonin was stunned for a moment before snorting, and smugly replied,"Yeah, so what bug?" "Hahaha so it was you then...good...good..." As Theo''s voice trailed off, he stopped shivering. While giving out occasional soft laughs, Theo turned around and faced Vonin. His eyes, filled with killing intent. His actions, filled with craziness. His mind, filled with madness. Vonin could not help but take a step back when he made eye contact with Theo; fear started to sprout in his heart. Theo gave a crazy grin. And activated Impending Doom. Chapter 4-Savior or devil? When Theo activated Impending Doom, his aura changed, he can feel it. It changed from the cold yet gentle aura to one that was filled with chaos and darkness. The pressure in the room increased by a significant amount, which caused Vonin, who was much closer to Theo, to fall weak on his knees as if begging for his life. Theo, consumed by hatred and rage, gave Vonin an uppercut to chin which caused him to jerk upwards. Once Vonin''s head is at Theo''s abdomen level, Theo then kneed him in the face, which caused a few broken bones in his nose. During the one-sided slaughter, Vonin let out a few blood-chilling scream but was quickly silenced by Theo''s repeated punches. "Hahaha...This is getting too noisy. Can''t have you alerting the guards can we?"Theo murmured to Vonin as he took out a dagger that Vonin had dropped earlier on. "Wha..Argh gurgh gurgh..." When Vonin saw Theo took out the dagger, he voiced out his panic but before he could even say the first word, Theo skillfully pulled out his tongue and sliced it off. As the blood from his mouth flowed on the floor, he tried to scream but no sound came out; It was then he realised true despair(Yet). "You know. Trash like you. Don''t even give a shit about others. I bet you just tortured them eh." Theo said as he gestured towards the girls. Theo smiled evily as he pinned Vonin down on the floor and cut of his hands. Vonin screamed in silent as he watched Theo cut of his hands, followed by his legs. As Vonin lay there, unable to move his non-existent hands and legs, he could only wriggle in futile and stared at Theo with hatred. "It''s not nice to stare like that hahaha...let me help you."Upon finishing his sentence, Theo gave 2 quick stabs to Vonin''s eyes, rendering him blind and blood started to flow out of his sockets. After rendering Vonin completely useless and harmless, Theo whispered,"Your servants, The Lamens, they will disappear from the face of thiss Earth. Starting from you." Upon hearing his words, it was as if his words were giving him a seizure, he immediately started to thrash about, however, in the end, resistance is futile as Theo stabbed the dagger into his heart. When Vonin''s bloodied corpse lay there, it seemed to be the work of a merciless monster who have no restraint; a work that is more horrible than death itself. Theo heard a soft whimper and instantly turned his head towards the source of the sound.
POV of the Demi-human I sat in the corner as I watched the confrontation between master and the crazy young man. As the man walked towards my master, I immediately felt an immense pressure pressing down on me, it was so suffocating that I can barely breath. Struggling to breath, I saw master and the girl kneeling on the floor, unable to breath properly. As I lay on the floor, I witness that the man did not kill master straight away, but instead, tortured him by cutting off his hands. In a matter of time, hundreds of people were hunting for Theo and some were already in the forest that Theo was heading to, although they had no idea where Theo was and could only rely on their intelligence and luck. Eventually they spotted Theo and his crew where they pertinaciously chased after Theo, which caused Theo and the girl to fall into a slight opening just below the root of a tree.
Several moments later, Theo sat up from the rough stonefloorwith a grunt. Despite the darkness surrounding him, he could vaguely made out the details of his surroundings.
