《Apollyon, The God of Chaos.》 Prologue. In the beginning, there were 3 Gods. Leon, the God of Nature, creator of the Earth and all of its inhabitants; Victoria, the Goddess of Wisdom, creator of the Mirror Land and all of its inhabitants; Finally, there was Apollyon, the God of Chaos, the inhabitant of the Void. Leon was the first to create his own planet, earth, and his own form of life, being the Elves. They were soon followed by Beastkin, Dwarves and Humans. He then madestable animal food sources for his residents to feast on, followed by plant life for food and shelter. These creations of Leon''s worshippedhim and he grew in strength. Being the weakest of the three Gods he relished in this new found power. Being jealous, Victoria created her own world called Mirror Land which was a mirror image of Earth. Within the land, Victoria created Demons, Golems, Giants and Dragons. A portal connected the two lands, letting anyone pass through as they wish. The thing that parted the Mirror World from Earth was that the Mirror World''sresidents could use magic, something that only the God''s could use originally. The only way Victoria''s creations could use magic is if Leon would get Victoria the Magi''s Articulium. There was one flaw in this plan though. That flaw is that the Magi''s Articulium is Apollyon''s only known creation and Apollyon treasured it. Apollyon created magic to begin with. He is the one who figured out how to tap into his own powers and he taught the other two how to use some magic, but that was only because he made the Magi''s Articulium. The Magi''s Articulium stores all information on how to use any type of magic. This book has every single type of magic known by the God''s stored in it and is constantly expanding, but Apollyon only shared few spells with his Brother and Sister. Apollyon grew stronger and stronger as he discovered more and more magic and the other two seemed to be falling behind Apollyon. Thinking that this is now the time to surpass Apollyon, Leon steals the book while Apollyon is testing a new spell and reads every single page in it, making him just as strong as Apollyon. Leon gives the book to Victoria on top of the promise that she will not give her creations the ability to conquer Earth. She agreed to this and she too reads it page by page. After this, Victoria gave certain magic abilities to her Creations and they prospered with this new found power. With his newest spells finally being done, Apollyon goes back to his space, known as the Void since it is nearly infinite emptiness, and finds that his only finished creation is missing. Apollyon goes and looks down into the Mirror Land and sees the Demon''s using magic. In a fury, Apollyon goes to destroy the Mirror Land but is stopped by Victoria. Seeing as she has the book, Apollyon realized what has happened. Having all of the magic in the Magi''s Articulium and also the power from being worshipped, Apollyonsaw that he was outmatched and has been betrayed by his God siblings. Victoria does give the book back and asks for peace once again, which Apollyon is forced to accept but he plans on getting revenge. Seeing as he can''t do anything directly, he decides to bring in his own source of power. He is going to cause mass chaos inside of the Mirror Land and Earth, using Leon''s and Victoria''s creations against them. Apollyon fell to the Mirror Land and shrunk his form to fit the world around him, for God''s are as big as galaxies in their original forms. Having a Ram''s Skull as a head and having a black cloak wrap the rest of his body, Apollyon made his way to the Demon Capital. There, Apollyon met with their Lord and taught him the ability to use several different types of dangerous magic. The Demon Lord thought he was learning magic to save people from illness but when he received the ability to use Blood Magic, he became corrupt with power. Apollyon stood in the shadows as the Demon Lord realized his powers and used it to conquer the rest of the Mirror Land.Victoria watched in horror as she tried to find a way to take away the Demon Lords magic but nothing seemed to work. She refused to kill her own creation. If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. The Demon Lord is consumed by greed and decides that he wants to rule Earth as well. As the armies from the Mirror Land marched through Earth, killing millions and taking the Earthlings land, Leon became enraged. He confronted Victoria toask why she broke the promise but she explains everything to him. Discovering that Apollyon is the problem, the two Gods decide that they need to stop him in some way, but by the time they figure a way out, Apollyon caused much more chaos. He gave the Dragons intenseraw power and their ability to breathe fire, ice, poison, lightning and wind. Tired of being ruled by the Demons, the Dragons used this power well and caused an inner turmoil in the Mirror Land. While this was happening, Apollyon went to Earth and decided it is time to make his own creations. Several beasts bloodthirsty for Earthlings were created and roamed Earth. Millions of Earthlings have perished from both the Demons and the beasts and they were going nearly extinct. Seeing his opportunity, Apollyon gave each race their own types of powers. The Beastkin could use insane physical powers while the Elves could tame the beasts Apollyon made. Dwarves could now make weapons of mass destruction with materials found under the ground and they harnessed the ability to use lightning. The Human''s receivedthe ability to enchant weapons with different types of abilities. With newfound powers, Earth fought the Demons back to the Mirror Land and was able to defend themselves from the beasts Apollyon created, but one thing was different now. Apollyon planted a seed into each of the races and these seeds were dangerous emotions. The Elves became proud and territorial, killing all out of their race who entered their land. Beastkins were given a short temper that caused them to go feral when pushed too far. The Humans were planted with an intense feeling of greed. This greed caused civil wars and the Human''s to take lands from the other races. The Dwarves were given the sickness of alcoholism, causing them to drink their lives away. The alcoholism caused them to make stupid choices and also gave them several ailments, causing a Dwarve''s lifespan to shorten. With all the chaos flowing within the worlds, Apollyon became filled with massive amounts of power before the other two God''s found him, but now that they have,Apollyon will have to face the consequences. The 2 Gods teamed up on Apollyon and fought him in his own home, the Void. As the fighting between the Gods raged on, the chaos on the world continued to accumulate and Apollyon never stopped growing in strength throughout the whole fight but there is something he didn''t account for. The creations faith to their creators was strong and everyone prayed to one of the two Gods every day, making Leon and Victoria grow in strength as well. Apollyon is finally defeated after 1,000 years of constant war and carnage. Both Earth and the Mirror Land were completely devastated and their Gods very weak. With their remaining power, the two Gods stripped Apollyon of his God Hood and locked him away in the Void. With no power and being a shell of his former greatness, Apollyon became dormant and went into a long slumber. A wave of peace and prosperity flowed over Earth and the Mirror Land while Apollyon laid dormant in the Void, waiting to get his revenge and his time will soon come. Peace would last for another thousand years as every race abandoned their strongest powers and their new emotions, but one day that is all ruined. The King of the Human''s on Earth is killed by a Demon while visiting the capital of the Demons. This sparks a war between Earth and Mirror Land, causing Chaos to once flow throughout the world and back into Apollyon''s body, making him stronger. If he is to get enough Chaos then he can get his God Hood back but something is wrong. Both sides have lost their knowledge of the weapons of mass destruction and can barely kill very many people. The war is soon turned into just all of the leaders arguing in a small room but this shouting between highly regarded figures is enough to seep a little chaos inside of Apollyon''s body, awakening him and giving him the power to escape the Void. Escaped, he is now on a mission to get revenge and destroy his Brother and Sister, one step at a time. Chapter 1. ''This feeling... It is Chaos.'' Two dim blue lights appear in the endless amount of darkness. Apollyon can feel a minuscule amount of Chaos flow into his body but it is enough to awaken him. The weightlessness in the Void causes Apollyon to float as he tries to fully regain control of himself. ''How... How long have I been asleep?'' Memories flood into Apollyon''s mind as he remembers everything that happened before he was sealed into the Void. Apollyon blinks his bright blue eyes a few times as he can feel more and more Chaos flowing into him, causing him to gain more access to his body. Apollyon moves his eyes side to side, making sure nothing is around him in his state of pitiful weakness. Apollyon tries to fully move his body but something seems to restrict most of his movements. Apollyon can feel a small burn seep into his body as he struggles to move more and more. ''A seal huh? It seems to be extremely weak, they must underestimate me.'' With enough Chaos coming into Apollyon''s body, he begins to whisper a few words into the darkness. At the end of the chant, a blinding light that is wrapping Apollyon''s body shatters and evaporates back into darkness. With his body being freed, Apollyon moves his arms around and stretches. Crackling comes from Apollyon''s brittle bones as he tries to rid himself of this stiffness. Even though he can finally move, Apollyon continues to float throughout the infinite amount of emptiness. He looks at himself and can see a dim white light emit from his bones as he has nothing to cover his now disturbingly weak body. Knowing that he is now weak, a small tinge of fear wells up inside of Apollyon''s psyche, a feeling that he has never experienced before. Apollyon shakes his head a few times and then closes his eyes. When he was stripped of his Godhood, they sealed away Apollyon''s natural source of power. They did this by disconnecting Apollyon''s soul from his source of natural mana but what they didn''t seal off was his ability to get artificial mana. This artificial mana came from any type of Chaos that is created within the known realm of existence. Acknowledging that he has a way to get his power back, the fear inside of Apollyon dissipates and he is filled with determination. This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. This determination comes from the want to get revenge on the other Gods and make their creations suffer from what has happened to him. Apollyon doesn''t know what is causing Chaos to form, but it is giving him a steady flow of power that will help Apollyon escape. Apollyon takes his small amount of Chaos mana and focuses it into his hands. Black ooze pours out of Apollyon''s bones and runs up past his arms and straight into his palms. The black ooze forms to black balls into the hands of Apollyon, which he looks at with his shiny blue eyes. He nods, accepting that he has put enough power into the spell and then claps his hands together. As he rips his hands away from each other, the ooze creates a wide circle, creating a portal out of the Void and into a random location on Earth. Apollyon observes where he will be teleported to and sees a large swamp. It is night as the light of the moon is the only thing guiding Apollyon into the portal. Apollyon floats through the portal and is met with a sudden pull of gravity. The fallen God falls face first into a puddle of sludge. His nose and mouth are plunged deep into the sludge and Apollyon can feel his bones start to sink into the horrifying substance. Apollyon tries to struggle out of this situation but the sudden effect of gravity plus the fact he just used all of his power to come here, Apollyon is completely paralyzed. Apollyon can feel his whole body be engulfed as he can no longer strain against the substance pulling him downward. The liquid is up to his eye holes and Apollyon can feel himself begin to fall asleep. ''I guess I used too much power. That''s what I get for pushing myself too hard already.'' Knowing that he has pushed himself past his current limits, Apollyon simply closes his eyes and accepts his fate, for now, falling asleep and continuing to absorb the Chaos being created while almost completely emerged in the sludge. The only things left visible of Apollyon is the two curled horns on his skull and two empty eye sockets. Chapter 2. "What is it now Granny?" A young boy in his mid-teens is heard as he responds to his Grandma''s call with a foul attitude. His Grandma gives him a scowl as thumping can be heard from the floor above them. A small girl runs down the stairs next to the young boy. She gives her Grandma a warm smile before hugging her tightly. A small voice comes from the girl that is so heartwarming it could melt ice cubes. "What is wrong Granny?" The two children''s Grandmother had called for both of them with a worried voice as she had walked into the house. Now that they are both here, their Grandmother breaks the bad news to them. "Byron, Aerin, something has entered our swamp." The hearts of the two elvish children sink to the bottoms of their chests. Aerin, the young girl, is the first to speak up about the situation. "But Mama and Papa are fighting in the war right now?! How are we going to protect ourselves?" Tears are starting to form into Aerin''s eyes as she is being slowly consumed by fear. The Grandma senses this and hugs her youngest grandchild close and tries to soothe the fear inside Aerin. The Grandmother looks at Byron to see how he is reacting to this and she can see his face is full of anger but inside, he is instilled with fear. His hands are balled up into fists and he is grinding his teeth back and forth. Byron knows that he has to protect his family and house if this something comes for them, but he doesn''t know how. He is weaker than your average elf and his father never taught him how to use a bow or a sword. Living in the middle of the swamp, Byron puts his hopes on the fact that all of the ground surrounding them is covered by sludge, so it will most likely deter this unknown entity. Byron looks into his Grandma''s eyes and she can tell what he is thinking and shakes her head back and forth, telling Byron that sludge won''t stop what''s coming for them. Knowing this, Byron runs out of the living room as his Grandma yells out his name. He ignores her and runs into his parent''s room. On the wall is an iron long sword with a bow and a quiver above that. He jumps up and grabs the three items. He strains to hold the long sword as his skinny arms begin to shake violently when he picks it up. He attaches the scabbard to his back and he puts the quiver around his shoulder. Byron is so weak that he doesn''t even think he can swing the sword but maybe he can scare whatever it is away with just his presence. Byron checks the quiver and sees 10 silver tipped arrows. Byron has never shot a bow but he has seen his dad do it before so he will just copy what he remembers. As he goes to leave his parent''s room, he is confronted by his Grandmother and his younger sibling. His Grandmother is crying and so is his little sister. Even though fear is eating away at Byron, after seeing his family distraught, he can feel himself calm down. This book is hosted on another platform. With this boost of confidence, he gives his sister a kiss on the forehead and looks his Grandmother in the eye once more. She is now filled with horror as she knows what her Grandson is planning to do and she also knows he is not ready for what is out there. "Byron put the weapons away, we can hide-." The Grandmother goes to suggest another option but is interrupted by Byron. "Granny, where is it?" His Grandmother hesitates but she knows that she will not be able to stop him even if she wants too. She gives in and tells Byron where it is, praying to Leon for the best. "It is near the Tree of Life. Please, I beg you to rethink!" With tears pouring from the Grandmother''s eyes, Byron can feel something inside of him twist and turn, telling him not to go and just hide. He almost gives in to this feeling but then he remembers where his father and mother are. They are out fighting for their family and Byron plans on doing the same. He shakes his head "No" and runs past his 2 family members and out the door. He climbs a tree and jumps from branch to branch, avoiding the terrifying substance below him. Byron knows the path to the Tree of Life and gets there quickly. As he arrives, a horrible stench fills his nose and he can feel something churn inside of his stomach, almost forcing Byron to throw up. He looks around and sees what is causing this awful stench to permeate throughout the air. A pile of rotting flesh trudges through the green sludge, moving towards his home. Byron can feel himself freeze up on the tree as hundreds of eyeballs appear onto the surface of the Abomination, and they stare directly at Byron. Seeing the young elf and knowing it can get bigger if it eats him, the Abomination lets out a loud shriek and slowly moves towards the tree Byron is standing on. As it reaches the bottom, Byron can feel himself snap out of his paralysis and his body moves on his own. A hand can be felt touching Byron''s shoulder and he knows what is happening. Byron is being blessed by his God and Creator, Leon. Byron takes out an arrow and puts it on the string of the bow like his father once did. The Abomination is about halfway up the tree and the shrieking is getting louder and louder. ''Don''t worry young one, I am here with you. You cannot die yet for you will be my hero.'' The arrow that Byron had pulled back is now shining brightly with a green light. Wind begins to wrap the bow and Byron can feel himself become more and more powerful from the God''s blessing. Byron feels like he can do anything now with Leon on his side. The Abomination can feel the power coming from Byron and starts to climb faster and faster before Byron can release its inevitable doom. Byron smiles at the Abomination and closes his eyes before he lets the arrow fly, saying one last prayer to Leon. Byron finally releases the string to let the arrow fly but something pushes him from behind, causing him to fall off balance. The power filled arrow misses the Abomination and lodges itself into the deathly sludge, exploding a few seconds after impact and sends sludge everywhere. Before the arrow exploded though, whatever pushed Byron sent him off of the branch and into the rotting flesh of the Abomination. Screaming for help, Byron can feel the flesh from his body being ripped off of his bones and absorbed. Byron feels betrayed as he thought God was going to save him but it would seem that he was wrong. The Abomination finishes eating the young elf and slowly makes his way down the tree. The Abomination searches for who was talking in its head and soon it spots a skull stuck inside of the sludge. It has a brightly glowing blue dot in its eye socket and The Abomination can feel an instant connection to this skull. ''Come here my child, come to your creator. You will be my Hero and free me from this situation.'' Chapter 3. The pile of rotting flesh slowly makes its way over to Apollyon. It moves and acts like a slime, just much slower. Once the Abomination reaches Apollyon''s head, it stops and looks at him for a few seconds. ''Grab me by the horns and pull me out of here.'' Apollyon says into the mind of the Abomination. It slowly moves over Apollyon and he can feel its flesh completely surround his head and go into his eye sockets. It is truly unfavorable that Apollyon has to use this simpleton of a creature but it is all that he has got. He has been stuck for about a year now and when a God gave power to the boy it awoken Apollyon. Wanting to give Leon a big ''Fuck you'', Apollyon used wind magic to push the boy into the clutches of the Abomination and into his death. Apollyon had spoken into the mind of the Abomination to ensure that it didn''t retreat. Now encased inside of the Abomination fleshy body, Apollyon can feel a sudden force pull up on his horns as muscles inside of the Abomination try to pull him out. A suction sound is heard as Apollyon''s head is unlodged from his terrible prison and the rest of his body is pulled out as well and into the body of the Abomination. The muscles go to push Apollyon back out into the open world but he stops it. ''No, carry me to land, I cannot stand in this wretched place.'' After saying this, Apollyon can feel everything around him move and shift, but at a snail''s pace. Apollyon remembers that Abominations are failed Magical Beasts that try to spawn in his presence. If there is not enough Chaos then the Magical Beasts amount to this. Apollyon knows that he can pour Chaos into an Abomination and it turns into what it was supposed to be originally but since it can glide over the sludge, he will wait until they are on land. After what seems to be an eternity inside of the constantly moving flesh, Apollyon can feel himself being pushed out of it. Soon his head pops out of the Abomination''s body and Apollyon can see land. Accepting this situation, Apollyon waits until he is fully out of the Abomination before he begins to move. Apollyon lands on the ground with a thud and a crackle as his bones hit each other. He gets up and loosens his bones up a bit with some quick stretches. He looks down at himself and sees that his bones are covered with a thin layer of that slime, giving him a green tint and as he feels his horns, Apollyon can feel moss growing on them. ''Man, I have to really clean myself up. First, I need to find some clothes. I don''t have enough chaos to waste to be able to make my cloak.'' Feeling naked, Apollyon looks at his surroundings and see a house in the distance. Apollyon looks down at the Abomination and asks it a question. ''Do you still have the sword that the boy wielded.'' The Abomination doesn''t move after Apollyon speaks to it and Apollyon waits patiently for a response. After a minute, the hilt of a sword pops out of the Abomination and Apollyon grabs it. Apollyon pulls it out of the creature and looks at the sword closely. Apollyon takes the sword out of the scabbard and drops the scabbard to the ground. ''It is iron but and it is not that dull. This will do. I will only use my magic in case of emergencies.'' Apollyon abandoned the scabbard since it is too small for him. Apollyon is 8'' tall and has the skeleton body of a human. His Ram like head has a horn on each side that curls twice. His eyes are magic bright blue dots that appear in his eye sockets when he is awake and disappear when he closes his eyes or when he is asleep. As Apollyon takes his first few wobbly steps, he can feel himself become more used to gravity and become better at using his body. He slowly but surely makes his way to the house and he looks in from the window. Inside Apollyon can see two elves. One is much older than the other and they both are holding each other. They haven''t seen Apollyon yet so he decides to use this opportunity to surprise them. He bursts through the door, ducking so he can actually fit into it, and charges at the old woman and child. They jump at the sound of the door bursting open and as they turn around their faces are filled with horror. Apollyon pulls his blade into the air but stops mid-swing. The reason he stopped is that the oldest one yelled at the top of her lungs. The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. "In the name of Leon stop!" She says in a shaky voice. Hearing the name of his dastardly brother surprised Apollyon and caused him to stop swinging. Apollyon decides to wait and see what this woman wants to say before she is killed. Seeing that Apollyon has stopped, the old woman thinks that this creature that is going to kill her can be reasoned with. "We are all made by Leon, can''t we all just get along?" A disembodied voice is heard throughout the air and it is laughing. This disembodied voice is Apollyon. He doesn''t speak with his mouth and no one has really understood how he is able to speak in the first place, not even Apollyon. What he does know is that this elf is spouting nonsense and it is causing him to laugh very loudly. He decides to indulge the woman. "Do you not know what I am? I am Apollyon!" Expecting the woman to be quivering in fear at his name, Apollyon is surprised to see the woman give him a very confused look. The little girl speaks first out of curiosity. "Who is Apollyon?" "I have no idea darling." Seeing as they are not even scared of his name, Apollyon becomes slightly frustrated. Knowing that he has been erased from history, Apollyon shows no mercy as he strikes his blade right into the head of the Grandmother. A cracking sound is heard from her skull as the sword is bashed into her head and blood begins to spray all over the room. Apollyon quickly removes the blade and swings it at the girl. She screams as loud as possible at her impending doom but Apollyon stops right before hitting her head with his immense strength. The Chaos pouring from the girl is feeding Apollyon and he will squeeze every last bit of it out of her before killing her. She looks up into the eyes of Apollyon and light begins to wrap around the girl and Apollyon is curious about what is going on. The girl continues to cry but the Chaos coming from her stops and the light keeps getting brighter and brighter. Apollyon can sense the power welling up inside of the girl and he jumps backwards and hurriedly starts a magic spell. Black ooze emits from Apollyon''s bones and wraps around his hands. With Apollyon standing in a ''T'', he brings his arms together and forms an ''X''. Small dots of black ooze float in the air as it fell off when he made the ''X'' and within seconds the black ooze expands. A shield forms in front of Apollyon''s skeletal body and he prepares himself. The light is bright enough to blind Apollyon and an explosive force hits the dark shield in front of Apollyon. The explosion comes from the girl as she is overloaded with the God''s magic in an attempt to kill Apollyon. The explosion blew the house into millions of pieces that scatter throughout the swamp and the only thing left after the explosion is Apollyon. A disembodied voice echoes throughout the swamp but it is not Apollyon''s "Man that sucks, I was hoping I''d kill whatever you are, but you are strong aren''t you? *giggles* I can keep you as a pet." As the voice of the woman rang throughout Apollyon''s skull he can feel anger build up inside of him. It didn''t sound like Victoria or Leon but it sure was cocky. Disappating the shield, Apollyon recalls the black liquid into his bones. Nothing is left of the house and the girl plus the body of the Grandma are both gone. Apollyon is disappointed as he could''ve gotten more power out of her but since he is being watched he needs to hurry and leave this place. He knows somewhere he can hide and lay low if no one has discovered it yet. Apollyon turns around to see that the Abomination is slowly crawling towards him. Knowing it will take a little bit for the Abomination to arrive, Apollyon looks for a way out of the swamp entirely but is disappointed in what he sees. The Abomination had brought him to an island and they are surrounded by sludge still. Apollyon''s bony fingers touch his face as he facepalms at the situation he is now in. Apollyon doesn''t want to ride in a pile of flesh again so he decides it is time to figure out what this creature was supposed to be originally. He walks up to the Abomination and puts his hand over it. An eye pops out of the Abomination''s flesh and looks up at Apollyon''s hand, waiting for something to happen. Apollyon hopes that it will turn into something useful as a small drop of black ooze drips from his index finger and directly onto the eye of the creature. The Abomination blinks for a few seconds and then lets out an ear-piercing shriek. The flesh of the Abomination starts to take shape and Apollyon is happy to see what this Abomination is amounting to. Once the creature is finally coming into its final form, a roar is heard that shakes Apollyon''s bones and makes him smile one the inside is heard. "Perfect." Chapter 4. The roar of a Manticore reverberates throughout the whole swamp, sending fear through of the small animals nearby. Apollyon stands in front of the Manticore with his arms wide open, as offering to give the Manticore a hug. The Manticore''s muscle flex and its wings flap as it pounces on top of Apollyon. Apollyon is now face to face with the massive creature and it has him pinned. With Apollyon pinned, the Manticore uses this opportunity to lick his creator in the face violently. A hearty laugh erupts into the air from Apollyon as the massive Manticore licks his face all over. Apollyon is rubbing the head of the Manticore with his bony hands. Being about 11 feet long and about 7 feet tall, the Manticore is a massive Lion-like creature with enormous bat wings on its back. Its tail is that of a scorpion''s and is very venomous. The Manticore jumps off of Apollyon and prances around, acting like a dog who wants to play. Apollyon is still laughing with pleasure as his creation seems to be enjoying itself. Apollyon wipes the slime off of his skull and can tell that the Manticore had licked the moss off of him, which is good. Apollyon pats his knees as to say ''Come here'' and the manticore walks up to him and nuzzles Apollyon''s chest. ''What a beautiful creature.'' Apollyon thinks to himself. Apollyon knows that Manticores are extremely intelligent so he decides to find out more about the creature. ''What is your name young one?'' Apollyon says into the mind of the creature. ''My name is Catoline.'' The Manticore replies while bowing to its Creator. Apollyon puts his hand on the fluffy head of the Manticore. ''Rise, Catoline the Manticore. You will be my Hero from now on. I will watch over you as long as you watch over me.'' After hearing Apollyon say this, the Manticore makes a humbled expression and plans on protecting its Creator till the bitter end. Seeing that the Manticore has accepted being his Hero, Apollyon looks off into the distance and can sense who is watching them now. He has been searching for them and he has finally found them. He decides to act like he doesn''t know and continues on with his journey. ''Our first step in our journey will be going to our home. Do you mind if I ride you and lead you to it?'' ''I do not mind, hop on.'' It is a truly bizarre sight to see a humanoid skeleton riding on a giant lion with bat wings but Apollyon rides the Manticore like it is a daily occurrence. He used Manticores a lot when he first started to cause Chaos throughout Earth and he knows everything about them. With the wind blowing in his skull and a view of hundreds of miles, Apollyon uses his sharp eyes to find a landmark he remembers. Leading the Manticore North, Apollyon is surprised to see the exact place he was looking for so soon.Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. Looking through the sea of clouds, the peak of a mountain can be seen in the distance. Apollyon tells the Manticore to head there and it doesn''t take long for them to reach their destination due to the expert flying from the newly born Manticore. They circle around the peak of the mountain and Apollyon sees a rock jutting out of the side of the mountain. ''There, land there.'' Apollyon commands Catoline while pointing at the rock with is bony fingers. The Manticore lands softly on the rock and Apollyon jumps off of its back. He walks up to the wall that the rock is connected to and puts his hands on it. Apollyon''s eyes flash brightly for a few seconds as he checks the illusionary magic on the wall and the wall begins to shimmer. Seeing that no one has discovered his illusion, Apollyon looks over his shoulder and sees he is still being watched. The creature is still invisible but they are definitely there. Annoyed that they are so persistent, black ooze forms on Apollyon''s back and levitates into the air. His eyes are shining extremely bright as it shows that Apollyon is focusing hard on his magic. Twenty black balls levitate around Apollyon and he can sense whoever is watching him begin to move closer and closer, maybe to see what he is doing. Taking his chance to attack, the balls turn into small spears that shoot at the levitating object at insane speeds. The black spears disappear but blood is sprayed into the air by the invisible object. A creature comes into view as it falls to the ground, spurting blue blood from twenty small holes riddled throughout it. Apollyon walks up to the creature and sees that it a giant flying eyeball. Knowing that he is not being watched anymore, Apollyon walks back towards the wall and dispells the illusionary magic which reveals a room inside of the mountain. As for the eyeball creature, Apollyon ordered the Manticore to eat it and Catoline is doing so. The Chaos Spears return back into black ooze balls and slowly roll their way back into Apollyon''s body. The room inside of the mountain is empty except for a purple portal in the middle. Apollyon walks up to the portal and turns around to see the Manticore still eating the eyeball. ''Bring your food with you, we are leaving now.'' Apollyon tells the Manticore. It listens and grabs the giant eyeball with its mouth and walks into the room. As it enters the room a wall reforms where they came in and the purple portal expands to 10'' wide and tall. Apollyon nonchalantly walks through the portal and so does the Manticore. Their eyes are met with darkness except for the light coming from Apollyon''s eyes. Neither the Manticore or Apollyon can move as Apollyon needs to say his old password to leave this trap dimension. "It doesn''t matter if Good beats Evil or vice versa, there will always be Chaos." With saying this, the darkness around them is torn away and a spacious room lined with bookshelves and old furniture comes into view. Apollyon walks towards the wall opposite to the two and puts his hand on the door. Before going into the next room, he looks back at the Manticore. ''You can stay here and do whatever you want Catoline, I will be out eventually to tell you what we are doing next.'' With hearing this, the Manticore lays down onto the ground with a loud thud and continues to chew on the squishy eyeball. The texture is weird to the Manticore but the taste is absolutely tantalizing. In the next room, Apollyon can see his old bedroom. He walks to a podium that sits in the middle of the room and there is a book floating above it. He picks up the book and can feel the familiar weight of his Magi''s Articulium. "Finally, the real fun begins." Chapter 5. The sound of thunder echoes around the mountain even though no cloud is within sight. As bright blue beam shooting into the sky pierces the eyes of anything looking up at the mountain. If you listen close enough, you can hear the jolly laughter of a fallen god. ''Hahahaha, you are much stronger than I expected Catoline. You can use Lightning Lazer like you''ve known it your whole life.'' Apollyon is standing next to the Manticore while looking at his Magi''s Articulium. The pages flip back and forth as Apollyon is rereading how to teach certain spells to give to the Manticore. He just taught Catoline Lightning Lazer, which shoots a beam of lightning wherever the caster wishes and has insane range. This is the strongest spell that Apollyon gave the dragons and it is just as dangerous in the hands of the Manticore. Apollyon had held back in what powers he had given to his Magical Beasts before as to not make them too strong and only scare people, but now... He is not holding back and plans on annihilating most of this planet. There are a few races that Apollyon plans on making his own since they truly made him curious. Sure he would have to pry them from Victoria''s and Leon''s cold, dead hands, but that is exactly what Apollyon wants. Apollyon snaps out of his anger when thinking about his horrible siblings and looks back down at his book. He closes it up and snaps, causing it to disappear into thin air. The Manticore is still playing with its new favorite ability and is showing off its affinity for magic. Apollyon had taught Catoline Lightning Lazer, Fire Typhoon, Poison Mist, Acid Spit and Great Heal. Each spell is high tier for this world and Apollyon taught Catoline how to watch its mana and be careful to not overdo the spell and injure itself. Apollyon can feel himself becoming attached to Catoline as he spends more time with the Manticore. It has been a month since they arrived and they have spent almost every second together. While Catoline slept, it put its head on Apollyon''s bony lap while Apollyon read through the pages of his Magi Articulium. Apollyon knows that he can''t get attached to mortal beings as they tend to die but something was different about this Manticore, or maybe that it is because Apollyon himself is now mortal? Apollyon looks at himself and is still ashamed that he is practically naked and his most private bones are shown for the whole world to see. He hasn''t left the mountain since he has been preparing Catoline for their next mission, which involves going to the nearest village and finding some cloth to make some clothes for Apollyon. Feeling that they are prepared enough now that Catoline is equipped with many spells, Apollyon hopes on his back and commands him where to go.Enjoying this book? Seek out the original to ensure the author gets credit. Catoline glides effortlessly through the air, heading to the nearest known village while Apollyon takes in the sights around him. Apollyon never took the time to truly appreciate the world around him. He had taught Leon how to create a planet and Apollyon was captivated by the beauty that Leon had created. The sway of the tree branches, the flying of birds beside him, the feeling of wind whistling through his bones, Apollyon was surely impressed at Leon''s handiwork. Maybe instead of destroying it, Apollyon will keep it for himself. ''It wouldn''t hurt to kill and raze a little bit though, right?'' Apollyon asks himself while looking for some sort of answer but no one responds. Sighing to himself, Apollyon goes into deep thought as Catoline looks for the village. They have been flying for a while now and Catoline has seen no signs of life other than small wild animals. Seeing a hill, Catoline decides to fly low as he descends up it. The hill has no trees and Catoline assumes they have been cut down. As the top of the hill comes into view, so does a large castle at the bottom of the hill. It is sitting next to a river and is surrounded by huts ranging in size. Catoline slows down and lands at the top of the hill which snaps Apollyon out of his thought process. Apollyon sees the village and doesn''t recognize a single thing about it but it most likely has what he is looking for. Dismounting from the Manticore, Apollyon feels the soft grass go between his bony toes and the dirt shift under his weight. He likes this compared to the swamp and he looks closer at the village below. The village people walk around, doing their daily tasks, completely defenceless. Before Apollyon was sealed away, villages would have tall walls and many guards just in case of magical beasts but now they seem to have forgotten the dangers of this world. Apollyon tells Catoline to stay and walks down the hill towards the village. With a quick whip of his hand, Apollyon''s bones are covered in flesh and soon skin. His skull forms into that of a human and black hair comes out of Apollyon head. Two eyeballs pop into Apollyon''s head and his bright blue irises shine in the sunlight. He is still the same size as before and he is completely naked. Apollyon walks into the village with no shame as he can hear whispers all around him. They range from good to bad as people are intrigued by the giant man who has entered the village. Apollyon enters the middle of the village and looks for a sign that tells him where he can find clothes. An old man walks up to Apollyon while Apollyon is looking around "H-Hello young one... How may I help you." His voice is old and shaky but Apollyon notices something weird, this old man is an elf. Confused on why an elf is in a human village, Apollyon decides to ask him for directions. "Do you know where I can find some clothes?" Apollyon says with a higher pitched voice than usual, mainly because he has a very deep voice. Apollyon had trouble at first since he isn''t used to moving his mouth when he talks but he managed to get this sentence out. The old elf obliges and gives Apollyon directions to the closet Tailor and Apollyon thanks him. The elf gives Apollyon a smile and then turns around, but not before whispering under his breath just loud enough for Apollyon to hear. "Anytime, My Lord Apollyon." Chapter 6. Apollyon stiffens up for a second when he hears those words leave the elf''s mouth. He hasn''t heard the name Lord Apollyon in a long time and was sure it has been forgotten throughout the passing of time. Apollyon decides to ignore it for now as Catoline is waiting to execute the plan. Apollyon walks down the dirt street and soon stumbles upon where the old elf had directed him too. The small wooden store had glass windows that let passerby''s to look inside at the small selection the store has. Apollyon walks in and can hear a woman. "Welcome! I will be out in a minute!" The woman yells from the room in the back. "Take your time! I''m just looking." Apollyon says in a monotone voice. He is happy the woman isn''t here because he hates having to move his mouth when he speaks. There is also the fact that Apollyon isn''t appearing to be breathing that often and has to keep reminding himself to do so. As Apollyon walks towards the selection of clothing in the store, he gives Catoline the command. ''Attack the village now. Be wary of an old elvish man though, I want him alive if possible.'' Apollyon says into Catoline''s mind, with Catoline responding with a ''Yes master''. Screaming echoes throughout the village as the roar of the Manticore is heard. The woman who was in the back has now has run to the front and out of the store to see what is going on, not even noticing Apollyon who is walking through the aisles. All of the clothing here is made out of a crude type of cloth since this village seems to be fairly poor but something on the wall catches Apollyon''s attention. Big rolls of cloth line the walls while varying in color. Apollyon makes his way to the black roll and pulls it out about 9 feet. Using wind magic, Apollyon''s blue eyes shine bright and the cloth is easily cut. Thunder can be heard directly outside of the store combined with the horrifying scream of people burning alive but Apollyon is ignoring it. Apollyon puts the cloth around him and it easily wraps around his big body. With the cloth being big enough to fit his human form, it could easily fit his skeletal form as a robe type of clothing, all he needs is a strap to put around his neck to keep the robe there. Apollyon turns around and can see leather straps on the counter of the store. Apollyon walks over to the counter and goes to reach into the glass bowl of leather straps but an explosion shakes the whole store and the bowl falls to the ground, breaking in a loud crash. Apollyon lets out a slightly annoyed sigh and bends over to grab a leather strap. The smell of smoke and burning flesh fills Apollyon nose as he creates holes in the cloth to make the neck strap work but he doesn''t mind at all. Apollyon looks at his new robe that covers his whole body and seems to be satisfied with it. Knowing his robe will be likely be damaged in the future, Apollyon picks up a few leather straps off the ground and snaps his fingers, making them disappear into his Pocket Dimension. Apollyon also goes back and puts the big roll of cloth into the same pocket dimension. Going outside, Apollyon can truly feel the chaos that Catoline is creating seep into his bones. Catoline''s destruction created a nice distraction for Apollyon to steal the clothing but something seems off. Catoline stands in the middle of the dirt road in a defensive position, staring at a figure in a white cloak. Catoline is covered in scratches and is slightly bleeding in the mouth. Apollyon sighs as he can tell that Catoline has overdone it since large streaks of black litter the area and almost every house within eyesight is on fire. Catoline senses that Apollyon has come outside and turns to see him. With seeing Apollyon, Catoline decides to run to its Creator for help. The person in the white cloak sees this and takes it as the Manticore running towards an innocent bystander and decides to save the person. With the speed a normal person cannot see, the white figure runs and stops in front of Apollyon, long sword ready to take down Catoline. Catoline stops before it is slashed down and growls at the white cloaked person. If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. "Run bystander, I will fight off this beast while you for I am.." Apollyon speaks to Catoline through its mind and drowns out the rambling of the person in front of him. ''What is this person doing Catoline?'' Apollyon asks. ''I think he is holding you hostage Master.'' Catoline responds with a sense of urgency. ''Ah, if that is the case then I will dispose of them quickly for we have more to do.'' Apollyon responds but after saying this Apollyon hears something from the person in front of him. "And in the name of Kila, The Goddess of Magic, I will slay you foul beast!" Apollyon''s eyes go wide as he hears the words Goddess of Magic leave the mouth of this impudent wrench in front of him. His non-existent heart skips a beat and Apollyon begins to sweat profusely. ''Those motherfuckers... Either this person speaks nonsense or they actually created another God... And there are only 2 ways to do that and both ways end with mass destruction or heresy.'' With anger flowing out of his body when thinking what his 2 siblings have done, Apollyon plants his hand on the shoulder of the person in front of him. The person is surprised by this and turns around to see what the man they are saving wants. When they turn around their face finally becomes clear to Apollyon. The person is a girl and looks horrified at the sight of Apollyon. Apollyon realizes that his Illusionary spell is wearing off and he must look terrible and he sure does. Smoke rolls off of the parts of Apollyon''s skull that have transformed back into its original form and several patches of skin riddle his deformed skull. Hair is falling to Apollyon''s shoulder as it sheds off. The woman takes the long sword and stabs it into the chest of Apollyon and tries to twist it but is met with an unmovable force. Apollyon looks down at his new cloak and can feel the long sword stuck in the holes in his rib cage as it completely missed any part of Apollyon''s bony body. Apollyon tightens the grip he has on the woman''s shoulder and his now bony fingers sink into her flesh as she lets out a loud scream. With his hand firmly implanted into the shoulder and her being unable to escape, Apollyon lifts his hand and dangles the woman into the air, putting her face to face with Apollyon. She is screaming and punching Apollyon with her uninjured arm but it doesn''t affect Apollyon at all. He brings her face even closer and Apollyon''s body is brimming with anger. Blue smoke rises from his blue dots of eyes and he stares into the soul of the woman. She has given up and now pleads for her life. Apollyon doesn''t listen and can only hear a ringing sound from how pissed off he is. Wanting the woman to shut up, Apollyon opens his mouth and puts it around the skull of the woman. He closes his mouth and a loud crunching sound is heard. Blood drips from Apollyon''s teeth as the woman''s body falls to the ground, headless. Apollyon opens his mouth and the head of the woman rolls out of it. The Manticore jogs over to his master and looks at the body of the woman and then up at Apollyon. Apollyon nods his head and the Manticore begins to eat the body of the headless woman. A voice is heard above Apollyon and Catoline that gives Apollyon confirmation on what has happened. "Aw man, Father will be upset that my hero has died. I''ll have to ask him what you are and see if I can make you my new hero." The familiar voice of the girl from before is heard and Apollyon flies into the air, disregarding his want to restrain the amount of magic he is using. Flying in the air with the speed faster than light, Apollyon grabs the foot of an invisible woman and she screams in surprise. Before the woman can react more, Apollyon takes the woman and throws her at the ground with all of his strength, sending her into the castle and through both of its walls. The main part of the castle crumbles due to the sudden hole in its walls and an explosion of dirt and grass erupts behind it from the last impact of the girl. Apollyon''s deep voice echoes for miles as his anger has fully taken over him. "You will die for the sins of your parents." Chapter 7. As the dirt and grass hit the disheveled land, the young girl that Apollyon threw to the ground becomes visible, her image shuttering into reality. She rubs her head since that was what hit the walls and the ground first. She can feel a small pain forming where she is rubbing and she is completely dumbfounded by it. Nothing has ever hurt Kila since her birth as a God and now that she has been hurt, even if it has been slightly, she doesn''t know what to do. Capitalizing on the fact that the person he intends to fight is just sitting there, Apollyon claps his hands together while whispering a chant. Floating in the air where he originally threw Kila from, Apollyon finishes the chant and the land around Killa begins to shake and rumble. A dome of dirt wraps itself around the unsuspecting Kila and entraps her inside of it. Apollyon lets out a metaphorical sigh to calm himself down from the realization of has happened. ''With Leon and Victoria having children with each other, who knows what calamities could happen to the known realm of existence. I had forbidden it before for fear of what could happen... but they didn''t head my warnings.'' Apollyon looks at the dome of dirt and sees that the person he has ensnared is not giving any struggle. She seems to just be sitting there in the darkness doing nothing. Apollyon readies another spell because he knows that a small dome cannot keep a God trapped inside and he is prepared for the worst. Nothing... Nothing happens. Apollyon goes out of his stance for spell casting and quizzically tilts his head to the side. He floats over to the dome and pokes a hole into it to see what is going on. The God he had thrown and put inside of the dome is just sitting there, crying. The supposed Goddess of Magic is crying like a child in the face of danger. Apollyon doesn''t know how to react until the girl looks up at him with tears in her eyes. She isn''t crying from sadness, she is crying from laughing so hard. Apollyon feels a surge of power and flies away backwards. Wind builds up inside of the dome until it finally explodes, sending particles of dirt everywhere and releasing the trapped Goddess. She looks up at Apollyon and has the eyes of a maniac which she is trying to use to send fear into Apollyon. Fire bursts into existence around Kila without her even chanting a single word. Apollyon has never seen anyone other than him so prolific in the use of magic and he now understands why she is called ''Goddess of Magic''. Lightning crackles in the atmosphere as a long lance forms into Kila''s hand. She is using some medium tier spells in hope of scaring Apollyon even more so she can capture him but with him not having a face she cannot tell if it is working or not. Apollyon thinks about what spells he can use without using too much Chaos and he has to think quick since it looks like Kila is ready to be on the offensive now. Apollyon doesn''t know the girl''s fighting prowess so he will have to take this fight as seriously as possible if he intends to leave it alive. With the image of Kila disappearing from his view, Apollyon moves his head to the side to dodge the incoming lightning lance. This novel''s true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there. ''She is not as fast as I excepted. She isn''t even using her Invisibility to her advantage and coming from behind nor does she hide her Aura well.'' Apollyon sees the bright purple Aura flying around at fast speeds, looking for a time to attack Apollyon but he leaves no gaps in his defence and dodges all of the incoming attacks. Getting agitated at the fact she has yet to land a hit, Kila''s Aura doubles in size as she begins to tap deeper into her Godly Mana for more power. Apollyon stays calm as her power has now exceeded his current limits but he believes that this Goddess is very inexperienced at fighting so he might be able to win with a simple trick up his sleeve. Apollyon finally summons his own weapon, a sword made of Darkness and is a fairly low-level spell. With enough manipulation though and some illusionary magic, Apollyon makes the sword appears as the legendary ''Light Consumer'', a sword Apollyon had made and given to the humans long ago. Kila sees this and becomes very wary since she has seen drawings of this sword before and it is said that the sword was lost in time, but if the person she is facing has it then she is in for a long fight. Wanting to end this fight before she can find out if the sword is the real thing, Kila uses a God-level magic spell and a storm forms above the two. It begins to rain intensely and thunder echoes around them once more. Apollyon sees that she is using the spell Lightning Fury, but he is the one who created this spell and he knows its flaws. A flash of lightning is seen and Apollyon disappears only to reappear below the invisible Kila. She looks down and Apollyon looks up at her and laughs. Lightning, which is tracking Apollyon, falls down from the sky and goes to end Apollyon''s life. That''s the thing though, it comes from the sky and hits the object directly above Apollyon, which is Kila. There is a saying that Lightning doesn''t strike twice, and whoever said that is correct as instead of striking twice, a torrent of 50 lightning bolts crashes upon the unexpecting and now paralysed Kila. She screams in agony as she put extra power in that spell and it completely backfired on her. She has never truly been in a fight with someone who actually wanted to harm her so Kila was not expecting her attacks to be used against her. With small bolts of electricity coming from her, Kila falls to the ground with a thud. Being struck by lighting took her out of invisibility too as her body comes back to reality. Apollyon slowly floats down towards the girl with water dripping from the nose of his skull. Kila sees that she has been defeated by her own magic and is most likely going to be punished when she gets home. Kila''s voice is a lot weaker now and is slightly raspy. "To have one of my most powerful spells used against me... What a sad way to lose." Laughter erupts from Apollyon as soon as Kila finishes her sentence. Kila looks at Apollyon with a distraught face and sheds an actual tear of sadness. His deep disembodied voice sends fear into the injured Goddess. "To think I was actually worried about fighting you when Lightning Fury is one of your most powerful spells. You have so much potential you can tap into with the right teacher. What a shame your parents are the epitome of pathetic." Kila is confused to hear something call the two most powerful beings ever known to be called pathetic, she begins to wonder what she has stumbled upon. "Who, no, what are you?" Kila asks. "I am your uncle sweetie, Apollyon, The God of Chaos and creator of all magic! Your parents probably have never told you about me but-." Apollyon goes to say something but the screaming of Kila interrupts her. "Uncle Apollyon! Have you finally been freed? Did our plan actually work?!" Kila yells at the top of her lungs. "What?" is the only thing Apollyon can say in his surprised response. Chapter 8. "What do you mean ''our plan''?" Apollyon asks the paralysed Goddess lying in the dirt now turned mud. Kila giggles as she knows that her plan had actually worked and her dream is coming to fruition. "My brother, Eon, The God of Time, was looking through the past and found traces of you Uncle. He told all of us about you but Father and Mother denied your existence and forbade use from searching any further. Being the rebelious kids that we are, 4 of us went back in time with Eon and discovered you. What you did. How you fought off Mother and Father by yourself with your unreplicable affinity for magic." Apollyon puts his bony hand on his chin which makes a dull clacking noise and begins to think about what is going on. Kila continues with her story whether Apollyon is listening or not. "When we discovered how much power you had and how you can teach it to anyone, we decided to find a way to bring you back and have you teach us your magic even if our parents disapproved." Kila said while reminiscing about the past. "Ok, I have a few questions, how many siblings do you have, why do you need me to learn magic and what was your plan to bring me back?" Apollyon asks after hearing more of Kila''s story. "Well I have 5 brothers and 4 sisters and then there is one who is not one of our siblings but is a god with the result of a magic spell gone wrong, that person was sealed away long ago. Mother and Father won''t teach us how to use our magic so we can only use magic that comes to use naturally, that we create ourselves, or the magic we happened to learn from you from the past. Finally, Eon discovered how you got power by Chaos entering the world so I assassinated the Human King to start a war between worlds." "Hmmm... Interesting." Apollyon says in a deep and focused voice. Out of everything Kila just mentioned, Apollyon is more intrigued by the one ''Accidental God'' that has been sealed away. Apollyon knows what spell they used to create this God and he knows that you can''t just accidentally cast it, it takes a lot of preparation and planning to create a God without birth. Apollyon never got to test it out so the spell was all theoretical but it seems those bastards were crazy enough to try it. There is also no spell that can ''go wrong'' and create a God because of it "One final thing Uncle, I don''t know if this is important to you or not but Mother and Father have left these two worlds for us, their 10 kids, to watch over and they have been making one together. It is extremely big and takes a lot of power so they are only halfway through the process. They said something about it being called ''Big Bang''." Apollyon is slightly worried by hearing this since he has never heard about a ''Big Bang'' and it would be something that they would have created on their own. Thinking that it will fail, Apollyon ignores the making of this new spell for now and turns his attention to the state of this current world. "So, you are saying that you and your siblings are the ones controlling Earth and the Mirror World?"Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions. "Yes." "So I don''t have to hide anymore and you guys will help me return to God Hood as long as I teach you magic?" Apollyon asks with a sense of urgency and hope in his voice. "Mmmmh, not quite." Kila says with a not so innocent voice. "Not quite?" "Yes, there are only 4 people who wanted you alive which are Eon, Seraph, Eria, and I. The others said that they will hunt you down and eliminate you if you are to be brought back." Kila said with some worriedness in her tone. "Alright. So, I have an offer for you, if I teach you some magic, will you help me regain my old power?'' Apollyon asks with a sincere voice towards his niece. Kila''s eyes light up with joy as her dreams can finally come true. "I would love too! All I''ve wanted is to see your true power in person and fighting you without you even being a God, I am still amazed." Kila says excitingly. "If that''s the case, then let me help you." A yellow light wraps Apollyon''s hand and he places it on the forehead of Kila. She can feel his cold wet bones press against her with a gentle touch. A soothing feeling fills Kila''s body and all of her injuries and ailments are instantly healed. Kila smiles as this is the magic that her sister, Eria, The Goddess of None uses. Apollyon extends his hands out and Kila happily accepts the help up from her uncle. Loud stomping is heard running towards the two as Kila turns around in surprise. A massive beast jumps over Kila and on top of Apollyon. Worried that something has snuck up on them and attacked her Uncle, Kila turns back around and has water magic ready to kill. Instead of a horrifying creature killing her Uncle, Kila''s eyes are met with a Manticore licking the bony skull of Apollyon whiles he laughs and puts his arms around its neck, embracing the Manticore in a tight hug. With Apollyon''s and Catoline''s reunion being sweet and heart warming, Catoline looks at who its Creator was talking to and sees the young Goddess before him and begins to sniff her intently. Kila is tense as she has never seen this creature before and is scared by it. She shoots her Uncle the eyes that say ''Please save me!'' and Apollyon grabs Kila''s hand. "It won''t hurt you. No matter how hiddeous something is or how scary scary it looks, there is always a kind side to every creature. Its Creator and anyone related to their Creator can bring out that side. See, Catoline likes you already." While giving Kila her first lecture, Apollyon had placed her hand on Catoline''s mane and had her pet it. In response to the petting of its wet fur, Catoline began to purr and started to rub against the young Goddess. With hearing these words of advice from her Uncle, Kila starts to accept Catoline''s looks more and is petting it more and more while giggling the whole time Catoline licks her face. If Apollyon had a face then he would be smiling from the happiness welling up inside of him. ''To have not been forgotten. To have someone activately trying to save you and looking for you. To have someone that I can actually call my family. It gives me this feeling, something that I have only ever felt once in my life but had taken away the second I received it. I will not let this feeling slip away from me again. I will show these young Gods what it really means to be a God, to not be held back by their backstabbing parents. I might actually love something other than magic for once, and I''m perfectly fine with that.'' Apollyon closes his eyes and nods his head as to accept what he just went over in his mind. The rain continues to pour down onto him as he laughs warmly at this new turn in his life that he never expected. Apollyon thinks to himself that if he learns to love his Nieces and Nephews, then maybe he can find himself a wife but that didn''t work the first time so it will take some time before he tries again.
