 Chapter 1 - Being that can surpass gods

    It suddenly started raining. It was strange, because of all the dust and debris that was released in the atmosphere. When droplets of rain touched the statue that was broken on the ground, statue started melting. The rain soonstarted metling anything and everything on it''s path, leaving only one small spot of ground untouched.

    In the center of this spot was a man of age no more than 26. He was kneeling and looking at his hands. He moved them and touched his own head, wiping blood off his forhead and looking at it with a slight smile.

    So it''s finally time, eh?

    Man thought with a even bigger smile now. His head hurt so much that even thinking hurt. He focused even more energy on the atmosphere than before, causing even more rain to melt anything that it comes in contact with. He wanted to erase very existence of humanity on this planet. But he would die before he could even erase the ruins of humanity on this continent.

    Fuck... I need a better plan to finish this. If aliens will come, how the fuck will they live on the same planet that was used by humans? It''s not like some shitty asteroid will hit earth right now! Actually wait... That gives me an idea.

    He focused his energy on his "Kinetic vision" and scanned the entirety of solar system. He found an asteroid of roughly 3 kilometers in diameter and another one of only 1.3 kilometers. He pulled the asteroids. One towards the eurasia and one towards him, in north america. He couldn''t care less about the speed so he just accelerated them to 34km/s and just let them fly towards him.

    Few minutes later, with all the strength that his body had, he looked up. he still couldn''t see the asteroids, but he knew that they were close in cosmic proportions. He wouldn''t even feel the impact. He removed all of his energy barriers and he just waited. The asteroids came close to the earth now.

    They''re gonna hit in 7...

    4...

    3...

    1...

    And suddenly, there was nothing. Only darkness and empty void. No heaven, no hell, no purgatory. Just empty, empty void. He was kind of disappointed, but then he got curious.

    If I''m dead and there isn''t an afterlife, why in the actual fuck am I still concious? HELLO!

    He mentally yelled, but there was nothing. He wasn''t getting tired of screaming so he just continued doing so for indefinite amount of time. In this "Void", Time was flowing differently or maybe not flowing at all. But he just continued screaming, until anvoice interrupted him.

    This voice was followed by others. Countless other voices ranging from one that belonged to a young man to that of an old lady. There were different voices screaming all together. Some were crying, some were cursing, some were begging for forgiveness. He understood that he was not alone in this empty void. But soon something strange happened. Black vortex came out of nowhere and started sucking in some of these voices. He couldn''t see it but he could somehow feel it.     He ran to the closest soul and wanted to ask for help, but he remembered something.

    All humans are disgusting traitors.

    With all the force that his non-existent body gathered, he tackled the closest voice and somehow absorbed it. Sudden rush of memories entered his mind and started showing him the past of this unlucky soul. Childhood, teenage years, Adulthood and finally death before reaching 50 years of life. These memory slides stopped and he could feel the world around him once again. The time that he spent in the unlucky soul''s memories was exactly 50 years. He lived the life of this unlucky soul named George. He saw the world through George''s eyes and discovered something intriguing. George was a kinetic in the world which he destroyed. George had power of Argentokinesis, The power to control silver and all of it''s properties, but his kinetic power level sucked so this power could manipulate 1 silver ring at most.

    Suddenly all voices started screaming:

    "IT''S ARTYOM!"

    "IT''S HIM! HE KILLED THAT GUY!"

    "HURRY LET''S KILL HIM LIKE HE DID TO US BEFORE!"

    Aaaaah shit...

    All the voices started gathering near him, but he instinctively released blast of his kinetic power. All the voices were thrown back by his power.

    Psychokinesis. The ability to move objects with your mind. This power was useless for other people, because at most it could lift objects weighing up to 100 kg and throw them with miserable speed of 5 meters per second. However Artyom was born with a "slightly" stronger Psychokinesis. Although he was hiding it for many years, He could lift whole buildings up and throw them at speed of sound. But his most dangerous Psychokinetic ability was something that no scientist in his era could comprehend. His Psychokinesis could affect living beings with same amount of power as Inanimate objects. Psychokinesis was useless against people, but Artyom had complete master over it.

    He was furious now. All these traitors wanted to kill him now. He did the only thing that he could in this situation. He gathered every voice around him. There were billions of voices. Children, teenagers, adults, elderly. He didn''t care. He forced them to gather in a gigantic ball of human souls. He didn''t say anything. He just simply grinned mentally.

    I killed you motherfuckers once. So second time will be pretty easy.e

    All of them tried to use their kinetic powers, but it was useless. There was nothing around them. No objects, except for themselves. Only powers that could be used were the ones that could control your opponent''s body, but it was useless as well, because Artyom didn''t have one. Unfortunately for them, Somehow Artyom managed to use his kinetic power. All of them knew that certain death was awating them. Second time in their lives.

    Artyom charged at them with the help of his psychich powers and pierced his way right to the center of the sphere.

    He started to devour them. Countless of memories rushed into his mind. He experienced Countless lives and all of them ending with Artyom killing them. He saw his battle against humanity in the eyes of the humanity, but he didn''t feel any regret. He wasn''t a psycho that killed this people just because. He killed them because human''s are traiterous bastards. And after experiencing and living through countless of lifetimes, It was over. He once again killed them. Suddenly he felt his conciousness go away somewhere else. He wasn''t sucked in a vortex, but he was going away somewhere. He suddenly "saw" this empty void morphing and stretching, until it heard an ominious voice.

    [Human... You are far too strong than this one imagined... You are too strong for a mortal or immortal being... You shall be exiled to another world... I will help you in every way I can... We are now partners...]

    Before he could say anything, his conciousness was thrown somewhere else. Going through dimensions and worlds, until finally he stopped and opened his now existing eyes. He was surrounded by darkness, but compared to abyss it was warm and comfortable. He looked at his own belly only to seeumbilical cord attached to it.

    So I''m gonna be reincarnated? Please don''t let me be ugly. And I can also feel my Psychokinesis being here... Better not use it yet so I don''t get aborted.

    As he chuckled mentally, he decided to wait until he would be reborn in the new world, in the new life.

 Chapter 2 - New life with a happy beginning

    "AEDUS!" scream was heard from the kitchen of a medium-sized house. From outside it seemed as if this wooden house stood for at least a century, but interior was cleaned and well-furnished for a lower-class family.

    Young man with athletic body and age of no more than 20 rushed to investigate. The distance between yard and entrance of the kitchen was covered in seconds. He knew that this wasn''t a burglary. His wife was pregnant and he knew where this was going.

    "W-What happened? D-Did your waters break?" Asked young man named Aedus with worry and excitement mixed in his voice.

    "Y-Y-Yes! C-Call him now!" Said a young woman of the same age as Aedus while placing one of her hands on her belly.

    The young man quickly went upstairs into the attic. He furiously opened chest and took a small, green colored crystal from it. He then rushed to the yard and looked at the crystal again.

    "Please hurry. I need you more than ever in my life."  Aedus whispered as he looked up in the sky and infused crystal with his little amount of mana. He threw the crystal as high as he could and after reaching height of 50-60 meters it exploded.

    Little amount of mana that Aedus infused in the crystal was mixed with already infused mana and it created mana-infused explosion. It was meant to attract attention of certain someone. Aedus then rushed back into kitchen and layed his wife now.

    Right next to the woman was a little girl. She had black hair like her mother and brown eyes like her father. She was holding her mother''s hands while asking questions about what was happening.

    "D-D-Did you call him?" Asked woman as he looked at her husband with worried eyes.

    "Don''t worry! He''ll be here soon I''m sure!" Aedus calmed her down as he sat right beside her. His nails were digging into the skin on the knee. He was excited at the thought of having his second child, but he was scared that something would happen to her wife. All he could do was wait and hope for the best.

    So it has begun, huh?

    Artyom felt that her mother''s waters broke. He knew that soon he would be born into this new magical world filled with kingdoms, magic, monsters and other humans. He wasn''t especially happy about being reborn for one simple reason.

    He hated his past parents.

    They were abusive, disgusting, worthless alcoholics and drug addicts. They were beating Artyom anytime they could, with or without a reason. His first memory was him getting hit at the age of 3. He didn''t know how he survived then. His father died when he was 6 and his mother drank even more. The beatings continued for the rest of his life with his widowed mother. Only thing that he could do was endure it and bury that grudge deep down in his subconcious.

    This painful memory scared him now. He was sure that her mother wasn''t getting drunk ever. At most she would drink 1 small glass of amber colored liquid and it wasn''t containing enough alcohol to make her drunk or even harm her and her new son. But he wasn''t sure about his father. He was working at the guard duty of the village that they were living in. It''s name was Reketh and it was on near the easter bordern of the kingdom Drakas.

    Artyom himself didn''t know how he acquired this knowledge about the world. It was small amount of information, but valuable nonetheless. There were only 2 possibilities here. One, His mother''s knowledge somehow transferred to him or two, That void or something implanted this knowledge deep into his mind.

    Suddenly, Artyom felt pressure. He understood what was happening so he tried to ease his soon-to-be mother''s struggle and tried to push himself out of her womb little by little using his Psychokinesis. He tried moving muscles and tissues around him carefully to ensure that her mother wouldn''t suffer or die. He was approaching the light at the end of this "tunnel" and he needed to make sure that her mother would survive. He didn''t know why he wanted his new mother to survive. Maybe it was because he subconsciously accepted her.

    The end of the "tunnel" was nearing and finally he was born.

    He waited a little bit to make sure that somebody would at least touch his little body. After moments, Pressure was applied to his solar plexus and a small jolt of mana entered it. Artyom knew what he had to do, so he started crying. He still couldn''t open his eyes, but he knew that everybody calmed down after baby started crying.

    Artyom opened his eyes to see a young woman with tears. She had black hair and black, beautiful eyes that were filled with tears. Her beauty would wipe the floor with other models from earth. But most importantly, he knew that this woman was his mother now.

    He tried to look around him and saw 3 figures stading in the room that most likely resembled a living room. One figure which was presumably his father. Athletic, well trained body with height of almost 6 feet, With dark-brown hair and brown eyes, his father was grinning. He was shaking too and it looked like he wanted to take his son into his hands as soon as possible.

    Next figure was a slightly shorter and wrinkly old man. His body was slim, but his back wasn''t hunched. He had grey beard all the way down to his chest and he was dressed in robes. This man was emitting mana, so most likely he was a mage or wizard of some sort. He was smilling in relief too.

    Lastly, there was a small girl holding Artyom''s father''s leather pants. She wasn''t smilling, but Artyom could see excitenment and happiness in her eyes. She was his older sister now.

    After scanning the whole room, Artyom turned his head back towards his mother. He felt hunger creep up and he placed his small hand on his mother''s breast. Her breasts were big, probably F cup or even more, but Artyom wasn''t feeling any lust towards her. It was his mother and he knew that doing anything 18+ was a big no-no.

    Mother understood her son instantly and pulled her dress, revealing nipple and offering it to the baby. Artyom started drinking the breastmilk and didn''t care about anything else, even his new name.

    "He is so beautiful." Said young woman as he caressed her son''s head.

    "W-W-We should name him right now!" Said Aedus with excitenment in his voice. He looked at the old magus." Would you like to name him, Rorsak?"

    "Hehehe. Thank you old friend, but I think someone else should give the name to this beatiful boy." Said Rorsak as he looked at young girl and smiled" Elza, Would you like to name your little brother?"

    "M-Me? B-But I don''t know good names" Said Elza as she looked down, thinking of good name to give to his little brother. She knew that his little brother would have this name and this name only forever, so she shouldn''t disappoint him!

    She looked at her brother and then said loudly.

    "KARI! Please name him Kari!" She said proudly as she looked at her parents. In return, they smiled and looked at the newborn baby. Mother started chuckling a little.

    "So you name him Kari even though my name is Kara? Haha, I like it sweety. I''m sure that Kari will love his name" She said as she looked down at her baby and whispering. "You will grow up to be a great man Kari. You will make your mommy and daddy proud."

    Rorsak smiled and then he told Elza to leave the room. She obeyed his order and slowly walked out, not to disturb his little brother. After she closed the door behind her, Rorsak looked at her parents with a slight worry on his face. He then spoke.

    "Congratulations on having you second child, but there is a problem." When he mentioned the word "problem", both Kara and Aedus flinched. Rorsak understood the situation and quickly added. "Sorry. What I meant to say was that he has something rather strange about him. When you gave birth to him, I wanted to use my mana to help you ease the pain and carefully force the child out. But before I could do that, The birth was almost over. It was as if the child was using his own mana to get out of the womb and at first I thought that that was the case."

    Kara didn''t feel as much pain as other mothers described. She was certain that Rorsak helped her somehow, but after hearing his words, she got worried. Child using his own mana to speed up his own birth was rare situation, But every time this has happened, it would bring excruciating pain to the child''s mother and In most cases would kill them both without healers help. But she didn''t feel pain that even common childbirth would have.

    "But I disregarded that theory as well. Firstly, You didn''t feel lots of pain that would certainly occur at these occasions and secondly, I didn''t sense any mana. When child uses his own mana to force himself out, he can''t conceal it, so detecting this kind of occurance is rather simple. I do not think that your child is normal in terms of magical aptitude. But it may also be just a rare case of childbirth like this so, please, just relax and let me look through the documents of the Ancient Library about this kind of situations." Rorsak said trying to calm down Kara and Aedus. They were scared at first, but soon they sighed in relief.

    "Thank you, old man. Thank you for everything you''ve done to us. I Wish I could ever repay all your services." Said Aedus as he hugged Rorsak with all the strength that he had. Kara just smiled at this scene and looked at her child again. Kari finished eating and now was sleeping peacefully. She hugged Kari with a little more strength and then looked and Rorask who was grinning.

    "If you really want to repay me, You can do one thing. When this little brat will grow up, take him to test his Aptitude. If he will be a mage, I want him to study under my wing" Said Rorsak while pointing at sleeping Kari.

    "Is this a contract that will kill me if I don''t make him test his power?" Said Aedus as he narrowed his eyes.

    "Hahahaha. Of course not. I''m just curious at what kind of man he will grow up into. I''m sure Kara''s child will be a genious at magic, so I won''t lose my chance to help him. And besides, If there is an even slightest chance that he will become a Magus, I will do everything in my power to aid him!" Said Rorask as he smiled again. Then he and Aedus had a dinner, after which Rorsak left.

    Aedus carefully transported his wife and son to the bedroom and let them rest. He layed his daughter down in the next bedroom with 2 beds. The second bed was for Kari and it was made month ago, but Aedus temporarily took possesion of it.

    He layed down while looking at the ceiling. He had a loving wife, beautiful daughter and son that he needed to take care of. He smiled at the thought of him training his son in the future in swordsmanship. And soon he fell asleep with the thoughts of himself with his family.

 Chapter 3 - Second meeting

    10 months later

    LIFE AS A BABY IS FUCKING AWESOME!

    Kari was repeating these words in his mind every single day. For 10 months, he was an adult that had the body of a little baby and he was enjoying his life to the fullest.

    It is literally only sleep,eat,shit,piss and repeat. Mom is had awesome breastmilk and now she is making delicious food for me! WHO THE FUCK COULD''VE THOUGHT THAT LIFE AS A BABY WAS SO FUN?

    He loved his new family. After everything that happened to him in previous life, he somehow managed to accept his new family and live another life as second child of Kanraver family.

    Elza, his older sister, was spending most of her time training in swordsmanship. She would go out into the yard and then Kari would hear shouting and grunting, with occasional "Hiyaa". He would sometimes crawl from the living room to the exit that lead to the yard and was sitting there, just to watch his big sister''s training.

    The technique that she was using mostly consisted of dodging, thrusting and piercing, along with some slashing. Kari deduced that her future weapon would most likely be a rapier.

    Everytime Elza saw her little brother sitting and watching her, she would blush a little and then continue with her training. One time when Kari was laughing mentally, he somehow chuckled loudly, thus making Elza blush even more.

    His mother was the best woman in the entire world for him.

    Their name sounded almost the same. Her name was Kara, whereas his name was Kari. Both had black hair and black eyes. But her mother''s hair was straight and Kari''s hair was messy. Apparently, his father''s genes still managed to butt in.

    Everyday Kara would tell her son about her past. Her son was always listening as if he could understand her words and remember everything that she said. Her son never stopped listening to her by crawling somewhere else. He would always remain in the same place, waiting for his mother to finish her story, as if her son didn''t want to upset her. She would always scream "So cute!" and hug his son with all the strength that she had, ignoring everything that she was doing before. This was indicator that story was finished and that Kari was dismissed.

    Kari didn''t see his father, Aedus, often. He was working as a guard on the outskirts of this village. He would work for 3 days and then he returned for 1 day, after which he would go on his duty again and so on. Out of his family, Kari didn''t have full trust only in Aedus, his father.

    Kari heard from her mother that Aedus was an Ex-Mercenary of a very well-known "Band Of Black Sheep". But as soon as his parents met each other they fell in love, which resulted in Aedus leaving the band. He was a master swordsman who developed his own technique named "Kikotani", so this band hesitated a little before letting him go, but eventually they agreed. Judging from his mother''s words, Band Of Black Sheep consisted of strongest and nicest people in the whole kingdom.

    No one knew of Kari''s Psychokinetic abilities. He was trying his best to hide it from her family. He thought it would be hard because the Magus named Rorsak would visit them often, but he was wrong. Apparently, The kingdom of Drakar found Newborn Earth Dragon and without the help of Kingdom''s Greatest Magus Rorsak, it was an impossible task to do. For past 10 months, Rorsak didn''t visit them even once, but he was sending mail via some bird that closely resembled hawk from the earth.

    Kari would always try to test his Psychokinesis on the biggest and heaviest objects available without alerting anyone. He was also moving small objects with little mass, reason for this being simply the fact that moving small object, with even smaller mass was sometimes harder than to move a big object that is heavy. He couldn''t pull out trees from their roots, but he was 95% sure that his power hasn''t dwindled.

    He was also using his psychic abilities to control the mana in the air. It was hard at first, but soon Kari realised that mana actually felt like moving Radioactive Particles. Unfortunately, He wasn''t able to cast any spells for now. He could manipulate mana around him, but his innate mana was simply for casting even simplest of spells.

    I can control mana around me and it feels slightly different than moving physical objects with psychokinesis. Ooh i know! I will call this Manakinesis! The ability to control mana!If you find this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the infringement.

    Kari was happy with his new discovery and invention, so he did what every other genious little baby would do. He crawled back into his cradle and fell asleep.

    This power can sure be useful when I have nothing else to do, eh?

    One of the powers that about 5% of kinetics in his previous life had. Improved version of lucid dreaming! User could manipulate his mind to fall asleep in an instant, or wake up in an instant if the danger was approaching. They could also control their dreams, shaping the world in them as one would see fit.

    Now let''s try this again...

    Kari imagined darkness. Complete darkness that was empty. He imagined himself in the complete void. He then started screaming.

    SUPER OMNIPOTENT BEING THAT TOLD ME TO BE PARTNERS! COME OUUUUUUUUUT! I HAVE A SHIT TON OF QUESTIONS AND I WANT ANSWERS RIGHT FUCKING NOW!

    He was doing this everyday after he was born. He was trying to call this being mentally. He wanted to ask a lot of questions. But for the past month, he was doing this with even less and less enthusiasm and hope. He screamead again a few times, but nothing happened. He gave up and wanted to completely make himself unconcious, but suddenly a excruciating headache made him stop his actions.

    He heard a voice that he was waiting for the past 10 months.

    [Finally Kari... We can talk now. This one is sorry for making you wait this long. If this one would contact you, your mortal body would be destroyed. Now then... What are your questions?]

    Kari was looking at the big silhouette of a gigantic mass that was glowing everytime this being would speak. Kari opened his mouth and said.

    [FIRST OF ALL FUCK YOU! SECOND OF ALL FUCK YOU! Now let me ask a question that I had for the last 10 months. What the fuck does being in partnership with you mean? You didn''t even introduce yourself. You didn''t let me have a say in this reincarnation thingy and I''m pretty sure that you saw me devour all of their shitty, worthless souls. NOW TELL ME, OH GREAT SHITTY BEING, What the fuck do you want from me?]

    Everything was silent for few minutes, but then ominous voice that didn''t belong to any gender, said.

    [Excuse this one for it''s rudeness. This one''s name in mortal tongue is Void. This one the beginning and end of all creation. This one os everything and nothing. This one is the only omnipotent being that exist inside and outside of the multi-verse. The reason why this one met you and reincarnated you was simple. this one wants you to be It''s partner and this one wants you to help it fix any problem of the multi-verse. Unfortunately, this one can not interfere directly into any universe and that is why this one needs your help. To say it in the human tongue, this one will be the brain and you will be the muscles.]

    [what kind of contradictory shit are you saying? Let''s just forget about anything else. Why did you chose me? I''m more than sure than if there are many other universes, there are definetely more powerful people, monsters or gods than me. So why did you chose me?]

    [There is a simple reason for that. You are an anomaly. First anomaly in the entirety of multi-verse discovered by this one. You destroyed the entire planet full of life in just under a few weeks. Your growth capacity was unlike anything this one has ever seen and when you fully unleashed your power, this one understood something. You can be far more powerful than you can even imagine. Tell me Kari. How does kinetic evolution work?]

    Kari went silent for a few seconds. He knew that the void knew about kinetic evolution and only wanted Kari to say it. Even though, he didn''t like where this was going, but he still complied.

    [Kinetic evolution is a term used by scientists to describe phenomenon that increases kinetic''s psychic abilities. If a pyrokinetic learns enough about fire and the working mechanism behind it, he/she will be able to control new types of fire. If kinetic with psychic abilities that can control certain metal learns enough about other metals and their structure, he/she will be able to unlock kinetic powers for the metal corresponding metal. And before this goes any further, I will ask of 2 things.]

    The darkness shifted a little, but Kari took that as a sign of acceptance. He continued.

    [One. If we will talk any other time, STOP USING "THIS ONE" IN EVERY DAMN SENTENCE WHERE YOU REFER TO YOURSELF. IT''S DAMN ANNOYING! Two. I do not want to know what I''m capable of anymore. Don''t you dare say it. I swallowed those disgusting souls, but I don''t want to know what I gained from it, SO we will never speak about my powers ever again. as for our "partnership" thingy, I suppose that you are the reason for my reincarnation into new life, so I''m gonna say something. I will help you If some "danger" occurs in the universe, BUT only if it endangers me or my family. I''m not gonna start travelling from universe to universe just to kill some bad guy that decided to mess with the world. oooh. And one last thing. If you''re going to "contact"me again, please do so without splitting my head open m''kay?]

    Darkness shitfed again. Kari understood that it was contemplating about Kari''s speech. So he just waited. After few seconds of waiting, Ominous voice was heard again.

    [Fine. I will accept your conditions. As you will grow up and develop your body, I will be able to contact you without any problems. I will not speak of the power that you acquired, although you will find about them sooner or later. I will also have more presentable form when speaking with you next time. Goodbye Kari. May we meet again]

    Dream suddenly ended. Kari woke up and looked towards the window. It was already late in the evening. Sun was almost completely set. Kari wanted to sleep some more, so he prepared to make himself unconcious again. Kari heard ruckus downstairs. His mother wasn''t clumsy, but he regarded it as accident. He once again prepared to sleep.

    Suddenly, he heard his mother''s scream.

 Chapter 4 - Anger

    Elza was gathering some herbs in the woods, when she heard screaming and shouting. It was coming from her village. She recognized the voice of her mother, so she dropped all the collected herbs and started running.

    She knew that something bad happened and that her mother was in danger, along with his little brother. Even though, she had no real sword she would do anything to protect them. Father was absent on this day because of the guard duty. That means that either the eastern border was attacked and the Drovik kingdom has begun it''s attack, or It was burglary.

    She wasn''t religious, so instead of praying she just kept on running, until she left the woods and saw something terrifying.

    Bodies of villagers were gathered in the center of their village. All of them dead. Houses weren''t broken, but no sound was coming from them. It had to be some kind of silent raid of the village, but there was more to it.

    There was human meat and bones everywhere. Puddles of blood were decorating the entirety of village. Some meat had equipment left on them and judging by them, it was definetely bandits, Or what was left of them. Some bodies were torn apart with some immeasurable amount of force, some of them were burned, some were entangled by roots, some bodies had their own bones sticking out of their vital areas.

    In the middle of this massacre, there was a young woman holding a small child in her arms while crying and begging.

    "KARI! PLEASE WAKE UP, PLEASE WAKE UP!" Elza''s mother screamed as she was holding her son. Elza couldn''t even comprehend what happened here. She just ran towards her mother, unable to do anything else. She fell right in front of her mother, but she didn''t even notice Elza. She was desperately trying to wake her son up.

    Elza extended her hand and placed in on top of her brother''s head. She chanelled small amount of her own mana into his brother to check his condition, just like her father taught her. She waited for a second and then reverted her hand. Kari was alive and well, despite being unconscious.

    "M-M-Mom, c-calm d-down. He is just sleeping" Elza tried to calm down her mother. Kara looked up at her with tears flowing from her eyes. She then started crying even harder, but Elza knew that these were the tears of joy, joy of knowing that her son was alive.

    Elza looked around once again. She saw the village and all the gore that was present. The image of dead bodies and remains of them scattered around would forever be carved into her memory. She had only one question.

    What happened here?

    Kari understood that something bad was happening. Talking to that Void thingy was too much of a challenge for his new body. He couldn''t sense danger around him. In an instant, he extended his psychic sense to a few kilometers.

    He sensed over 59 foreign life signatures. From over 138 villagers that he remembered, only 2 were left excluding himself. His mother, Kara and his sister, Elza. Elza was gathering herbs in the nearby forest, but her mother was being dragged to the center of the village where piles of bodies were gathered.

    He knew where this was going. He knew that these outsiders were probably bandits, but how did they manage to kill the entirety of the village so fast and quiet? It meant that they were professionals disguised as bandits. Her mother was still alive because their house was far from other buildings in the village. She was going to be killed.

    An emotion rised up from the depths of his sub-concious. Emotion that could drive any creature to do acts that they wouldn''t normally do. Anger.

    The door was quickly opened by a man in the leather armor and fur leggings. As soon as he saw a baby, he approached the cradle to cut open the baby''s throat. But he couldn''t move his body.

    Bandit''s body was lifted up and then thrown outside through the window, landing right in front of the other bandits. Kara looked towards the direction from where the body flew from, only to see her own house.

    Suddenly their house was completely destroyed and a shadowy figure ascended with incredible speed, before landing right on top of the pile of villager corpses. She recognized the figure. It was her own child, Kari, but something was different.

    Instead of beautiful eyes with black pupils, there was only blinding white light. The rest of his body was so dark, it seemed that it was absorbing the light itself.

    "Bandit''s" quickly reacted by throwing their daggers at the child. Kara screamed "NOOOO!", but instead of blades hitting Kari, they stopped mid-air and turned around, now pointing at the "Bandits".

    YOU BASTARDS! WHY THE FUCK DID HAVE TO DO ALL THIS? WHAT DID THESE PEOPLE DO TO YOU? DIE!

    Blades were launched with force so big, that their speed excedeed even that of a sound. Some of the attackers tried to block them, but simply didn''t have enough time to react. Blades dug deep into their skulls, destroying the brain and coming out from the other side to land in the ground.

    Soon, Other "bandits''" bodies were lifted in the air and their limbs were completely torn of from their torso. They were thrown towards other bandits, which were lifted and crushed, just as previous ones.

    The chanting was heard and a few seconds after that fire came out from one of the bandit''s hand and was launched towards the child. Fire was stopped in mid-air right in front of Kari and then it started growing in size and power. The fireball grew 5 times it''s previous size and was thrown back at the caster. Explosion killed the mage instantly, while burning every other bandit around him, but the fire didn''t stop there as it "jumped" towards other bandits as well.

    Other mage finished his chanting too and spiky roots extended from the ground, entrapping Kari and dragging him back on the ground. As soon as Kari descended, roots let go of him and dug back into the ground. Soon they erupted again, but this time around the rest of the bandits. Instead of dragging them into the ground, roots split the bandits in halves. Some of them were going into the unlucky bandit''s mouth and erupting right from their chest.

    Kari lifted remaining 10 bandits and crushed them with each other, forming big ball of human meat and bones and throwing it away.

    All of this happened in less than a minute. Kari completely descended on the ground and looked towards the ground where his mother was.

    I used them... I had a chance to have a good family and now they will be scared of me...

    Instead, he saw his mother running towards him. Even though she saw what her child was capable of, she knew that Kari wouldn''t hurt her. Kari soon found himself in the embrace of his scared mother.

    "A-A-Are you okay? Are you hurt somewhere?" Said Kara,while inspecting his child''s body. She knew that using too much power would hurt one''s body. She didn''t want her child to be injured. "Don''t worry. I''m okay. Just please don''t be hurt."

    Kari''s eyes returned to normal. His body was now normal too. Kara was relieved that her child was back to normal, but Kari had tears in his eyes.

    Even though she saw all this, she still loves me? Just what kind of logic is that?

    But nonetheless Kari was happy. If he will stay conscious, he might scare her and make her think that he is some kind of monster. But didn''t he already show her that he is a monster? Kari used all his remaining power to put a barrier around his mother just in case. For now, he would give up lucid dreaming and will just be unconscious. He then prepared himself and with a quick mental command he was already asleep.

    Kari woke up to the voice of some man talking about something. He recognized the voice that belonged to his father, Aedus. Soon voice of an old man replied to his father. This voice belonged to Rorsak and Kari understood what would happen soon.

    I''m pretty sure they will start asking questions, even though I''m still a baby. Tricking dad will be easy, but Rorsak is another story. Dammit, I still have to speak after all. At least I''ll try to sound baby-like.

    "It seems that he is almost awake now. Before I say something, Kara, Is the story that you told us true?" Asked Rorsak, with doubt in his voice. This was the first case that something like this happened around a child.

    "Y-Yes Rorsak. I saw it with my own eyes and I know that he did that only to protect me. Please don''t do anything to him!" Said Kara with worry while holding her child with slightly increased strength. She wasn''t sure what Rorsak would do. She trusted him, but her child''s safety was a top priority for her.

    Kari opened his eyes. First thing that he saw was his father''s scared expression. It was mixed with a bit of anger, probably directed at Kari. Right beside him was standing Elza, who was looking at Kari. He couldn''t tell what expression on her face meant. It was mixture of worry, sadness, shock and disbelief. Then he looked at Rorsak who was holding his chin with his fingers while observing Kari. He then spoke with a strict tone.

    "Who are you?" The atmosphere in the room quickly became tense. Kari knew what he was going to say, but after hearing such a voice, his determination lowered quite a bit. But still he said with his baby voice.

    "Kari." He said with his super cute voice. On the earth it was very rare for 1 year old to say R. But in this world it may be different between races. Also mana might play a big role in development of a human body, so Kari just said it, hoping that Rorsak wouldn''t do anything.

    "Interesting. He can say his name with precision. It is rare, but not impossible. Now tell me Kari, what did you do in the village?" Rorsak asked again.     "Protect." He said as he hugged his mather back. It was so cute that her mother blushed and hugged him even stronger. Aedus relaxed a little too. It was definetely going well.

    "Why did you protect her? Why didn''t you kill her too?" Rorsak asked, fully knowing that the child was able to comprehend anything he would say.

    "Mom. Mom loves Kari. Mom protects Kari. Kari must protect too." He said, hugging his mother with even more strength. His cuteness was way beyond Kara, so she could only hug him and say " I love you sweetie."

    Rorsak understood that this child wasn''t lying. Mana could influence everything in different ways. This includes the development of a child. Although extremely rare, there were some cases where 1-2 year olds, had the intelligence of 9-10 year olds, but this was beyond that. He then spoke.

    "Kara, Your child is indeed a rare case. He is smart enough to analyse his surroundings, understand us and recieve information. Tell me Kara, have you ever told him some story?" Rorsak asked with curiosity.

    "Well, Everytime we were alone I was telling him about my past. He would always listen so closely." Kara said as she looked at her child and suddenly her eyes were wide open. " W-W-Wait a minute. That means tha-"

    "Yes Kara. Judging by his speech, he has heard enough words to gramatically form a sentence. I''m pretty sure that he remembers your stories almost perfectly." Said Rorsak as he smiled widely. Kara looked at her son again while blushing and asked.

    "W-W-Were you R-Really listening?"

    "Yes. Mom once made bad stew and everybody vomited. Then she made a really good one and they gave money. Mom once fell from the ladder, but landed on man and hurt him. When mom met dad first time, she thought that he was "Dummy that can only swing swords." At the last part Kara blushed while holding her hand on Kari''s mouth. Rorsak was laughing loudly, while Aedus had a shocked expression on his face. Elza''s expression didn''t change at all. Soon Rorsak calmed down and said.

    "As I said, He is indeed a genious, but i have something to ask him. My boy, Can you show us that power again?" Kari looked around and only now he found out that he was in one of their neighbour''s house. Probably because he destroyed their own. He felt awkward for a second, but then he did as Rorsak asked.

    The sound of rumbling was heard from kitchen next door and soon spoons along with some broken dishes floated into the living room, where the family with Rorsak was. The objects were floating along with Kari''s hair. His hair was floating, as if he was underwater. Then he carefully placed spoons in the hands of Rorsak while concentrating on the broken plate. The plate that was divided into dozens of parts came into contact with each other. The broken plate was whole once again and kari carefully transported it near Rorsak, who then grabbed the plate. Everyone was shocked by the display of the unknown power. Only Rorsak was able to talk again.

    "Truly magnificent. New unknown power. There is no record of power such as this. I didn''t even fell the currents of mana shifting or air changing it''s direction. My boy, What power is this and how do you control it?" Asked Rorsak with obvious interest in his eyes.

    So there isn''t a record of psychokinesis? It is true that when those mages attacked me back then, I didn''t feel any kind of psychic energy from them. That means that everything here is indeed controled with mana.

    Kari didn''t want to say anything suspicious or stupid. He knew that if he would give wrong answer, Rorsak would know immediately.

    "Don''t know. Can not explain. It''s like I always had this power. Please don''t tell anyone. Please keep it a secret." Kari didn''t want anyone to know of his power outside his family and Rorsak. He knew that someone would eventually come for him and his family, if the information about his powers would leak. He could only hope that Rorsak would keep it a secret. Otherwise, he would have to kill him.

    "Although It is a shame that I can not research this any further, I won''t tell anyone about this power. Nor will I spread the information about it any other way. I believe that you understand what would happen if the information about such power would reach ears of dangerous people." Rorsak looked outside for a few seconds, then turned back towards Kari and said. " My boy, Please do not use this power for evil. When you will grow up, Please consider participating in Aptitute test. As for now, All of you will move to capital. I will give you enough money to buy your own house and have food until your father finds work again. I will record the event that took place in Reketh village as accident, so be at ease when you will arrive at the capital. I''m going to prepare the teleportation spell. We will arrive nearby capital and from there you will have to walk by yourselves."

    Before Rorsak would leave the house, Kari blocked his path with a spoon, thus making Rorsak turn around towards him.

    "Why do you help so much?" Asked Kari. He was interested in this for all the time he spent in this world. His previous life taught him that anyone could be a traitor, he tended to see bad side of people first, he didn''t believe that people would do something good for others, just because they are "good".

    Rorsak understood that Kari was cautious so he just smiled widely and said while pointing at Aedus.

    "That brat over there saved my daughter few years ago. I know why you asked me this, so don''t worry, I will not do anything that will harm your family. And besides, your father promised me that you''ll take aptitude test and will study under my wing, if and when you pass it." He said while winking at Aedus and leaving the house.

    There was a short silence in the room after Rorsak left. Kari looked at his mother, which returned his gaze.

    "Hungry." Kari said and making her mother blush while murmuring something about cuteness. She handed him over to Aedus and looked into his eyes for few seconds before going in the kitched.

    Aedus looked at his son. He wasn''t sure about this whole situation. How could a child bring such terror upon his enemies. He was scared even now. Suddenly, Kari hugged him and closed his eyes. Aedus just smiled when almost all of his fears were erased from his mind. This was most definetely his son.

    Elza just stood there with worried expression, still frozen on her face. Just what was that power? How did his brother kill all of them without realising that they had friends or even families waiting for them? Maybe despite his high intelligence, he was still a child in his heart. Elza didn''t have friends in the village as she was spending her time either training or with her family. Playing with her brother always felt natural, but now she was scared of him.

    She looked towards her brother and saw Kari looking at her with a sad smile on his face.

    "Please don''t be scared. I didn''t want to scare. I don''t want you to hate. I love you, big sis." He said as he extended his arms towards her, indicating that he wanted Elza to hold him. Aedus complied to his son''s demand so he gave Elza her brother. Kari hugged his sister with even more strength, trying to calm her down.

    Shit! Of course she will be scared shitless! Even for someone as mature as her this was too much.

    Soon Kara came in with delicious looking stew. She looked at the table that was broken in the corner. She sighed and wanted to bring the soup back into the kitchen, but there was no need for that anymore.

    Broken parts were flying towards the broken table, reassembling into a normal table. Then the table carefully floated in the center of the room and descended on the ground without a sound. Whole family was amazed once again by this amazing display of power. All of them looked towards Kari and saw him smilling.

    "I can help mom. Just tell me and I will." Kari said as he kept hugging her sister. When Kara heard this, she blushed and placed the pot with hot stew on the table while picking up Kari and whispering "So cute!" over and over again, while feeding him. Soon Rorsak came back and family invited him to join the feast.

    After dinner the whole family went towards the big circle on the ground, with runes written all over. Kari deduced that this was magical circle responsible for activating teleprotation spell. He wasn''t sure about it''s safety even though it was made by Rorsak, so he put barrier around the family and Rorsak. It seems that barriers made by his Psychokinesis was invisible even for Rorsak.

    "Okay. When the circle will start glowing, breath in deeply and don''t exhale until we are teleported. When we will be teleproted you may feel dizzy so don''t worry." Rorsak instructed as he lead the family to stand in the center of this magic circle.

    He chanted something in some weird language and then the circle started glowing. Everyone did as Rorsak instructed and then in a few seconds, the terrair around them completely changed. Instead of empty village with gore scattered around, they were in a green field surrouned from 2 sides by trees.

    Kari exhaled, but he wasn''t feeling dizzy at all. Her mother and sister were the same, but Aedus wasn''t so lucky. He quickly ran towards the nearby tree and started throwing up. Rorsak just chuckled and then pointed towards the gigantic city surrounded by 40 meter walls.

    "Welcome to the capital of Drakas kingdom." Rorsak said proudly. While Kari''s baby mouth was wide open.

    A gigantic city filled with houses and towers. The sound of people talking and shouting. The guards that were patrolling the walls. The dogs that chased after cats. Sound of orphan children playing. The farming fields that surrounded the walls of the city. Farmers working in there and the sound of livestock. Every part of this lively city was scanned by Kari''s Psychic sense. There was too much information and he had a slight headache, but it was definetely worth it. He loved everything about this gigantic city that was capital of Drakas kingdom.

    When Aedus returned, Rorsak started talking.

    "The city is divided into 13 disctricts. Districts from 11 to 13 are slums. That is the most dangerous are in the city, so please avoid going in there. Disctricts 8 to 10 are trading districts filled with traders, auctioners, blacksmiths, tailors, bazars and etc. Districts 4 to 7 are where commoners live. The district 4 is for commoners who do no have a noble bloodline, but are rich. That is where you will be living. It is consider safest place in the city excluding the noble districts and royal district. Second and third districts belong to nobles, whereas First district is where royal palace and it''s possesions are." Rorsak briefly explained about how the city was divided. He then gave father a pouch of golden coins and told him. " In this bag there are 20 Yurzs. I already bought your house, so use that money to buy products or eat at the inn. This spirit will guide you there."

    As soon as he mentioned the spirit, small blue light emerged from his back and floated towards Aedus. It was bouncing happily and was waiting for Aedus to follow him. Rorsak sighed and then continued.

    "I am sorry, but I have matters to attend to. Goodbye Aedus and meet me at the royal palace as I said before, the guards will let you in. As for you my boy" Said Rorsak as he took out another pouch and threw it towards Kari, who caught it with his Psychokinetic powers and put it in his mother''s pocket." Use all this money to buy books. I know that you want to know even more about this world and there are amazing book shops in the 4th district too. Elza. I know that you want to learn swordsmanship, but trust me, no one can teach you better than your own father. Goodbye."

    But i don''t know how to rea- Aaaaand he''s gone.

    Rorsak disappeared leaving family alone. Aedus took the other puch and counted money in there too. It turned out to be 5 Yurzs. Now Kari knew what kind of currency was in this world. He looked at her mother and shyly said.

    "Don''t know how to read. Only can speak and hear." Kara smiled and kissed him on forehead.

    "Don''t worry sweetie. Mommy will teach you how to read and write." Kara said to her son, which in return hugged her even more, making her blush and say "SO CUTE!" loudly. Aedus smiled too and said.

    "Okay. Let''s go. We must not be suspicious, so let''s go straight home. Please lead us." He said, while looking at the spirit. Spirit bounced around once more and started floating towards the gigantic gates of the city.

    Kari was happy that his family survived and was given a second chance. He would do anything to protect them in this city too, even if it meant erasing the city from the existence. But he was still worried about something.

    Back then I could control fire and roots with psychic abilities. That means that I somehow got Pyrokinesis and Botanokinesis. Dammit. So I did get even more powerful after being in that shitty void.

    More power meant more responsibility. In previous life he wouldn''t give a shit about being even more powerful and destructive, but now he had a family to protect. Now he actually had something to live for and he would try his hardest to protect something that he truly loved. He smiled and thought to himself.

    Haha. Less than a year ago, I destroyed a whole planet and now I want to live life peacefully with parents who are mentally younger than me. Just how ridicilous can this whole thing fucking get?

    He looked at the capital again. He will grow up here, so he needed to see everything. But in this body it''ll be a little suspicious, so he will probably just ask his mother to show him around. Life as a kid would come to an end eventually and then he needed a plan on how to live on. But was not revealing his powers to the world really a right thing? Well, Time will tell...

 Chapter 5 - Accept me!

    6 years later

    Majestic being flew over the barren lands filled with death. At first it seemed that this being was searching for prey, but in actuality it was already heading for one. The prey seemed so small, yet it was emitting some unknown and powerful energy. The hunter wanted to turn around and fly to the other direction, but it was already too late. Its prey disappeared from his sight, appearing right above the hunter and descending with immeasurable speed on top of it. The hunter wanted to resist, but it was already dead.

    Tigers with glowing red eyes started to run in circles around the being. They were waiting for an opening in order to deliver finishing blow to this being. Before they could react, strange aura that was surrounding this being, growed in diameter, engulfing all of them and slowly disintagrating them.

    Gigantic rhinos with glowing veins charged towards the intruder. Before they could come close to this unknown creature, they were launched in the air and split in two. The being with white glowing eyes looked over the rest of the wasteland, noticing that every creature was afraid to take another step. Then he grinned, preparing to charge once again, but suddenly It heard a voice.

    "Wake up!"

    Kari opened his eyes and saw a familiar face.

    "Kari! Wake up! Breakfesht!" Said cute, 3 year old girl, while shaking her older brother. She was tasked with waking him up every morning and she wouldn''t disappoint her mommy!

    "Wake up! Kari!" Girl repeated. Kari had to see this sight every morning for the past year, but he was happy.

    "Okay Lis. Big brother is waking up." Kari said as he rose from the bed, while holding his little sister in his hands.

    Who knew that having little sister could be so nice? Come on now, say your demand!

    "Fly! Lish fly!" Lis shouted as she looked at her brother with begging eyes. This was happening every morning and Kari had to do it over and over again. Nonetheless, he was more than happy to entertain her sister with his powers.

    In an instant, Lis started floating in the air. She waved her hands around in excitenment, then running them through her floating hair. Her big brother would always play with her. He was using this magic to entertain her in any way that she wanted. But she always remembered that she can''t speak to other people about his powers. She knew that her big brother would be in trouble and she didn''t want that at all!

    "Okay List. Let''s go downstairs. You want to go outside with me today right? Then let''s eat a lot!" Kari said as he raised his fist and Lis repeated the same action, while shouting "Yesh, shir!"

    Trousers and shirt flew towards Kari as he raised himself in the air, using Psychokinesis to dress up. Then he used his powers to bring his sister''s dress from across the messy room and put it on his sister.

    He walked out of the door and turned right. He walked down the hallway and opened the room that was in the middle of it. The room was clean, but there was no one inside of it.

    She started training early again. Damn Elza. You''re so cool!

    After praising his older sister mentally, he proceeded to go downstairs into the living room. He was met by his father, Aedus.

    "Good morning, Champion! Did you sleep well?" Aedus asked he leaned on his left arm while looking at floating Lis. This sight was weird, but the whole family got used to it.

    "Yeah. Had a really cool dream, but she woke me up. Anyways, did something happen yesterday?" He asked his father, who was working for some shitty noble and was his private body guard. This happened because Rorsak told that noble about his father''s advanced swordsmanship, so he was hired and had a high payment as well.

    "Nothing. It''s an easy job most of the time. By the way, the book that you asked me about wasn''t in the grand library. It can only be purchased in Krakoth kingdom, so sorry." Kari was kind of disappointed because that book could have so interesting information on magic in general. Last 6 years were spent by either reading books or playing with his little sister. Only recently, Kari hasstarted to test the range of his psychic powers outside of city''s walls. The reason was simple. The aptitude test.

    "Sooooo. What place are you aiming for when you will take part in that test? I''m sure that you will want to go to magic school." Said Aedus as he looked at Kari from across the table. "But what about that power of yours? How will you hide it after you use it in the Aptitude test?"

    " No one ,outside of magic council, knows what this test will consist of. Last time it was expedition in the caves under Zhulamar, so I think that it will happen in the capital, or not far away from here. This year will have a lot of kind I''m sure. Hiding my powers will be difficult, but I''ll think of something. I won''t let anything happen to you." Kari finished talking while using his Psychic sense to scan the Eastern forest, the area where he was training in.

    "Hahaha. Oh boy. Sometimes I think that you are older than me. Hehehe" Aedus was laughing, while looking at Kari.

    Heh. I''m actually older than you. If you only kne-Oh shit!

    Kari felt his sister getting dizzy and he gently put her down on the ground.

    "So-Sorry Lis. Kinda forgot about it hehe." Kari said while scratching back of his head. Lis pouted and went into the kitchen. Lis was looking almost exactly like mini-version of Kari. The only difference being their gender.

    Soon, Kara came from the kitchen while holding pan filled with fried potatoes, mixed with meat, herbs and spices. Son and father started drooling at the sight of this dish. Kara only smiled widely as she saw their reaction. The pan in her hands started floating towards the table and was placed on it gently by Kari. Kara thanked him by kissing his cheek and sitting on the chair that was moved by Kari too. Soon, plates and forks flew all the way from kitchen to living room, descending in front of everyone around the table. Parents thanked their son again and started eating.

Even now, he was amazed by her mother''s body. She was 6''6 in height. She was curvy and she would make any man fall for her. Sometimes, Kari would just burst out laughing when he saw his father standing next to his mother, which resulted in Aedus blushing from embarrassment and Kara hugging him, telling him not to worry.

    "Eastern forest? We might even train together! Okay Mom! Tell Lis that I will walk with her around the city later." He said as he left his house and closed the door behind him.

    The house had 2 floors and an attic. The first floor consisted of entrance, living room and kitchen. Second floor had 4 bedrooms. One bedroom belonged to Aedus and Kara. Second bedroom belonged to Elza. Third bedroom was shared between Kari and Lis. She was always crying when she wasn''t sleeping in the same room as Kari. So she moved from her parents'' room to Kari''s. In reality, Kari was really happy about it. The fourth bedroom was vacant and it would be used if family had a guest.

    House also had a small yard in the back. At the back of this yard was bath that always had warm water, thanks to Kari and his powers.

    Kari walked down the busy streets of the capital. He already passed commoner districts and was now going to the Eastern gate through Trading district. Sound of people bartering, auctioneers inviting people, hammer hitting the hot metal on top of the anvil, lady screaming at the tailor, butcher cutting up meat, brought a weird, but pleasant sense of harmony.

    Soon, he was outside of the city walls. He lookedat the Easter forest. It was pretty big and normal children would be lost in there for sure. He walked away from the gigantic wall and hid in the nearby trees.Kari placed both of his hands on the ground, while placing one leg directly on the ground and second one slightly above it.

    In an instant, he pushed off the ground and covered distance of 200 meters in less than a second. If he would use his Psychokinesis to fly, people would surely notice him, so he had to come up with alternative method. 1 year ago, he started his training in Psy-running. He charged his Psychic power through the whole body, using it to help muscles cover huge distances as fast as possible, with no damage to them. He could move at the speed of 400 miles per hour. He also used Aerokinesis to make wind resistance as low as possible, thus increasing his speed even further.

    After 1 year of training, Kari estimated that he could move faster than Mach 3, but moving faster than Mach 1 would cause sonic boom to appear. He clearly remembered his past-life experience of moving at the Mach 4 speed. Whenever he would fly over people with this speed, their life signatures would disappear after few seconds. So, he only ran at the speed of 300 meters per second.

    Soon, he entered the Eastern forest and scanned the entirety of it. He found his sister on his usual training spot near a large waterfall.

    Elza was sitting on the rock and looking at the waterfall. She was thinking a lot about tomorrow, because tomorrow was the day of Aptitude testing. Even though she wouldn''t participate in it, she was still nervous abouther brother and his powers. She heard a familliar voice whispering in her ear.

    "Enjoying the view?" It was her brother, Kari. She had good perception of her surroundings, but her brother approached her without making a single sound.

    "How did you sneak up on me?"

    "I have my own ways. Anyway, what brings you here Elza? Training in front of the waterfall is really cool, but this place is already occopied by me" Said Kari as he winked.

    "Tomorrow is the Aptitude test. I just wanted to see how you train and howyou will hide your powers during the test." Elza replied with deadpan expression on her face.

    "Well about that... I''m gonna reveal it." Kari said as he was scratching the back of his head.

    "What? You told uncle Rorsak to hide it and now you want to reveal it? That''s stupid. And plus, There is no record of power like yours in the kingdom. Someone will try to catch you and kill you!"

    "Whoa, chill! First of all, I''m gonna reveal it in a slightly different way. I''ll show you how today. And second of all, I will look really cool. I didn''t want my powers to be revealed when I was only 1! And I don''t want to wait another 4 years for another test. And besides... Who will dare to attack me after seeing that shit?" Elza remembered that terrifying sight once again and quickly looked down, trying to avoid makinHg eye contact with her brother. Kari noticed it and sighed.

    Maybe I should tell her now? I think it''ll be for the best.

    Kari sat right next to her sister and lookedat the waterfall. Short silence was enough for Elza to recollect her thoughts and she looked up. She saw her brother looking at the waterfall, with a sad smile. He then said, without even looking at Elza.

    "Are you scared of me?" Elza knew that she would have to answer this question sooner or later, but she was still caught off guard. She knew the answer, but she didn''t want to say it out loud. She was living her whole life after that incident in fear. She was scared that her brother would do that again. She feared that something bad would happen.

    "I... I... I..."

    "It''s okay. If you wouldn''t be scared, that would be even weirder. Any normal kid would be scared after that." Kari said as he still didn''t move his eyes from the waterfall. " Sis, Humans are scared of unknown. If something that is beyond our comprehension appears, we are scared of it. We try to fight it, worship it, fear it, love it, but in the end, humans will accept this unknown. Sooner or later, we will embrace it and consider it as something normal, something that we understand, so please..."

    Kari suddenly hugged his sister with all his might.

    "Please accept me and don''t be scared of me. I don''t want to harm you. I don''t want you to hurt. I know that I''m weird and monstrous, but please, ACCEPT ME!" Kari shouted.

    Elza remembered all the times that her brother spent with her and Lis. She remembered that despite him having this power, that was capable of destroying the whole capital, he was only helping his family with it. It was always like that. She was just too scared to accept it. Tears started flowing from her eyes and dropping on the ground below her.

    Boy... That escalated too quickly.

    She was crying silently while being in his brother''s embrace. Kari was frozen in place, unable to do anything. He knew that if he would let go now, everything would be for nothing.

    "He-Hey. Stop crying now. Big girls don''t cry, even Lis understands that." Kari said as Elza slowly left his embrace. "As an apology, I willbe number one in this year''s Aptitude testing!"

    "F-Fine. No need to show me them now. I really want to see you amaze everyone." Elza said with a smile on her face. Finally, she was free from the fear that was binding her for past 6 years.

    "I kinda wanted to see your sword technique,but... Whatever! At least let me show you how fast I am." Kari lifted his sister up in bridal carry with the help of Psychokinesis and said "Wrap your hands around me and don''t let go."

    Let''s try jumping over the wall today. Hope the guards won''t notice me.

    Kara just nodded as she wrapped her hands around Kari''s neck. Kari started running. Even though they were moving so fast, the wind wasn''t stopping them. They were moving too fast for Elza to see their surroundings. Everything was blurry, but at one moment she felt her brother jumping over something big and landing perfectly. Her brother was moving fast again, but now he was making a lot of turns. They suddenly stopped and Elza could finally see their surroundings. They were in front of their house. She couldn''t even imagine the speed that her brother was moving with.

    "We''re here! I carefully chose the way with no people at all, so we got here faster than usual!" Kari said with a proud grin on his face. "Anyway, I''m gonna take Lis for a little walk. Go inside and rest for today. I have a feeling that this year, they will allow families of participants to attend the test."

    Kari went inside the house and came out with Lis sitting on his shoulders. It was an extremely cute sight to see. Kari just waved his hand and continued walking. Elza soon entered the house and went to help her mother. Tomorrow was a big day for her brother. She knew that Kari would take the first place, but she had a bad feeling about tomorrow.

 Chapter 6 - How is it down there?

    The morning in the house of Kanraver family was peaceful and typical. Kara was cooking breakfast, Aedus was looking out of the window, Elza was already out in the yard training with her sword and Kari was sleeping, along with Lis. No sound, except for Kara''s cooking, was heard. Aedus followed occasional bird flock with his eyes as they flew over the capital.

    "Honey, Don''t you think that Kari was asking weird questions yesterday?" Aedus heard voice of Kara from the kitchen, which then was followed by herself. She had a worried expression on her face.

    Aedus remembered the day before, When Kari came back home and they were having lunch.

    "When he asked us if someone else than Rorsak knew of our age? Yup, I remember. He also asked us about time before we met each other, right?"

    "Exactly. Why do you think he was interested in those things?"

    "Maybe he''s aiming for the first place and our social status will hinder his progress at the academy?" Aedus said with a slight disappointment in his voice. Kara had same kind of face as before, but then they heard a voice.

    "MOMMY! DADDY!" Lis came downstairs as fast as she could. She was breathing heavily, but she had joyous expression on her face.

    "W-What is it, sweetie?" Kara asked, as she lifted Lis from the ground.

    "KARI ISH BIG! HE ISH BIGGER THAN DADDY! HE ISH ALMOSHT LIKE MOMMY!"

    "Wha-?" Kara and Aedus exclaimed at the same time as someone naked came downstairs.

    "WHAT THE FUCK?!" Aedus screamed as he recognized that person.

    Aedus was now sure that this boy, who looked like he was 16 years old, was definitely his son. He still had black,unruly hair that was even longer now and black eyes. He also had slim body that looked as if his son was going through harsh training for a few years. But the most noticeable difference was his height. Yesterday, I asked you about weird things and now I will explain why. This body looks like that of a 16 year old. When I will register for Aptitude testing, I''m going to tell them my fake age. Since almost no-one knows of your age except for Rorsak, I think that it''ll be pretty safe." Kari exhaled, inhaled and the continued. "I''m pretty sure that I weirded every single one of you out, except for Lis, but please understand that it''ll be for the best like this."

    Kara and Aedus needed some time to intake all the information, but before that Elza spoke.

    "HAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHA." Kari laughed as Elza pouted. After finally calming down, Kari said." S-Sorry. I was going to keep things the same way anyway, but you saying it out loud made it so hilarious. Anyway, Testing will start soon! I''m gonna have to depart soon. Unfortunately, I heard that families can''t attend. Only mage council and teachers from Magical Academies are going to observe us. And they said something about us battling each other."

    "You''re going to battle and you''re so relaxed about it?" Asked Aedus as he raised one eyebrow.

    "Of course. They are mages meaning that their bodies will be really weak. They''ll be vulnerable to physical attacks."

    "Even so... By the way, What is your power?"

    Aedus offered a handshake to his son. Kari accepted it and shook his hands firmly.

    "By the way dad..." Kari said as he grinned mockingly. "How is it down there?"

    Aedus was already in the ground in the orz posture.

 Chapter 7 - Aptitude test

    Kari was heading towards the outskirts of the Royal palace. He completely turned off his Psychic sense and was now playing with his favourite Psychokinetic power, Psychokinetic blast. It was like a laser gun that was being charged with user''s Psy-energy. The longer it is charged, the more powerful it will be. Right now, Kari had enough fire power to completely destroy the Royal palace, but if he would use it against some brats, he would have to split it''s firepower between the applicants.

    He soon approached the walls of Royal district. Unlike the city walls, they were only 20 meters tall, but they were created with harder material of unknown origin.

    Damn fucking king! At least think more about your citizens than your fat ass!

    Kari got angry in an instant. He just spat in front of him. He then approached the guards at the wall. They noticed him and said loudly.

    "Halt citizen! What is your business in Royal district?"

    Kari never liked to bow in front of the people, much less being polite to them, but he didn''t want to be kicked out before the test even starts. He just bowed and said.

    "Excuse me sir. I came here to participate in the Aptitude test and I don''t know it''s exact location. Please allow me to enter!"

    "You''re the 6tb commoner taking part in this shitty test. It will be starting soon so ya better arrive at time. Ron will guide you there."

    "Why me? I don''t want to do it again. These commoners are fucking stupid. They shouldn''t even com-" Before he could finish, Ton was elbowed by his fellow guard in the ribs. Kari didn''t understand the point of this action. Both of them had pretty good armors.

    In the end Ron complied and he told Kari to follow him. They were going through the Royal garden. It was beautiful and normal commoner would be looking at every part of it by now. But Kari was no normal commoner. He scanned this garden yesterday night, so he knew every single square meter of it. Ron the guard was surprised by Kari''s reaction.

    "Others were almost drooling over this place. What''s up with you?"

    "If I said that I have seen better, would you believe me?" Kari asked while raising a single eyebrow. Ron just smiled widely.

    "You''ve got some balls lad. Insulting Royal garden in front of the Royal guard. I think you just might pass this test"

    The rest of the way the continued in silence. This garden was gigantic. They were walking for good 15 minutes and only then Kari heard voices. They were getting close.

    After a few minutes, they were in front of a barrier and in front of it was a man dressed in some robes. He was most likely a mage.

    "Hello Ron. Did this one annoy you a little too?" Mage greeted Ron the guard and asked about their little journey.

    "Nope. This lad is a pretty decent kid. Might even pass the test." Ron the guard replied and then he turned to Kari and continued. "Well lad, this guy will tell you the directions and just follow them. Good luck, you''re gonna need it."

    Ron the guard went back to his guard duties. Kari followed him with his eyes until the mage coughed.

    "Ahem. What is your name and age?"

    "Kari. I''m 17 years old." Kari increased his age by a single year.

    "No family name?"

    "It''s not mandatory anyways, so why should I tell you?" Kari said as he looked down on the mage, both literally and metaphorically. The mage flinched a little and then opened up a barrier. He gestured Kari to go through the opened space and murmured something under his breath when Kari finally went through. He checked himself for any possible curses and then joined a gigantic crowd that was in front of him. There were almost 250 people. There were commoners and nobles as well, where the latter was mocking and cursing the former. Kari came closer only to see that the people here are weak as shit.

    All of them had slim bodies with no muscle at all. The highest guy here was 5''6 feet. With his height and athletic body, Kari was like a giant between them. When he came even closer, some people noticed him and the chatter started.

    "Who is he?"

    "Look at him! He''s like an orc!"

    "He''s a commoner. Get away from him"

    "Is he even a mage?"

    Kari didn''t even notice people standing here. He just stood near the edge of the whole crowd and was just waiting, when suddenly something bumped into him.

    "..." Kari looked at her for a few more seconds and then turned away. This cute, innocent face hides a terrible monster, even more she is a noble. Never trust these guys. That was the rule that Kari made for himself.

    The girl was troubled now. She just bumped into someone and made them angry. She looked down and then slightly tugged Kari''s trousers. Kari looked down again.

    "I''m sorry if I offended you. P-Please... At least let me pay you money as an apology." She said while reaching for a bag filled with Yurz. Before she could reach the bag, her hand stopped moving. It was like her hand was just frozen in time. She looked at Kari.

    "I don''t want your Yurzs. Tell me your name."

    "M-Mira."

    "Now listen here Mira. I don''t want your gold because you just bumped into me. I''m perfectly fine as long as you apologise, but listen here. Your "cute and innocent girl" facade may fool everyone. You may go around like that and in case someone will be your opponent, they will not attack you. But your shitty act won''t fool me. You''re a con artist and a fucking noble at that. So just shut the fuck up and wait for the goddamn test." Kari almost shouted and then looked in front of him, returning to his previous state. Everybody who was near them, heard everything.

    Mira couldn''t say anything. She was scared and for some reason sad because of this boy''s response. Everyone may not trust nobles, but hating them to this extent was too much. Mira thought that Kari suffered some kind of accident and now had a trauma. She heard other people gathering around her and Kari.

    "Hey you, Commoner! Who do you think you are?" Said a blonde boy.     "You dare to insult me?! I AM THE HEIR OF GARITHURTH FAMILY! KNEEL NOW AND BEG FOR MERCY IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR SHITTY, WORTHLESS LIFE!"

    "Oh really? What if I don''t kneel, Oh heir of Garithurth family? There is no one here except for participants, so you''re pretty much on your own. And using magic against other before testing is strongly prohibited."

    Jonathan was furious now. He was looking up at the face of his offender and could only see a mocking grin on his face. He started chanting a fire spell. When he finished he screamed.

    "FIRE FIST!"

    He was aiming for Kari''s stomach. Fire fist could punch a hole through anyone whose magic was weaker than the caster''s. It was a powerful spell, but it also requiered enormous amount of mana.

    "Yare Yare" Kari said as he raised his open palm. Jonathan just smirked and was ready to kill this commoner right now. When he raised his palm, it became unavoidable.

    Jonathan''s Fire Fist hit Kari''s palm and stopped. Every participant was shocked right now, including Jonathan whose mouth almost dropped on the floor.

    "Is that all, little Garithurth bitch?" Kari said as he closed his hand, holding Jonathan''s palm tightly. "You are just a brat who think that he''s all powerful, just because he was born in some shitty,but wealthy family. Now let this "commoner" teach you a life lesson."

    Kari applied force both with his body and Psychokinesis to Jonathan''s palm. Jonathan started screaming and fell on the ground. He was screaming and begging for mercy.

    "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I''M SORRY! I APOLOGIZE! PLEEEEEEEEASE STOOOOOOOOOOP!"

    "You want me to what?" Kari said mockingly as he applied even more force, cracking Jonathan''s bones.

    "STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP! PLEEEEEEEEEASE STOOOOOOOOOOOP!"

    "Okay! I will stop. But only if you will say that your family is a shit stain on this world." Kari said as he smiled even bigger. Mira was looking at the whole scene. Everyone including Mira was terrified by Kari''s brutality.

    "MY FAMILY IS A SHIT STAIN ON THIS WORLD! IT SHOULDN''T EVEN EXIST! I DON''T WANT IT TO FUCKING EXIST! FUCK MY FAMILY AND EVERYONE WHO IS WORKING FOR IT!" Jonathan screamed while tears started flowing from his eyes like waterfalls.

    "AHAHHAHAHAHAHH! You actually said it! Now..." Kari said as he lifted now screaming and crying Jonathan in the air, just enough for him too look into Jonathan''s eyes. Kari raised his right hand in the air, slowly forming the fist, which slowly generated fire.

    "I shall confiscate this hand."

    "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Jonathan screamed as Kari punched his right hand into humerus bone, completely tearing it off.

    "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Jonathan screamed as his blood splashed everywhere, covering people nearby, including Kari and Mira.

    "Mira... Be a good girl and stop his bleeding." Kari turned to Mira while pointing at Jonathan who was screaming on the ground. Mira barely nodded and chanted a spell. She stopped Jonathan''s bleeding, but he was still screaming and running around, with drool, snort and tears mixing on his face.

    "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?" Kari heard a familiar voice. He looked at his right and saw Rorsak, who was being followed by some woman. She was the same height as Kari and she had J cup and amazingly curved ass. Kari licked his bloodied lips and gulped. Rorsak noticed Kari and he froze in place for a few seconds. He quickly deduced that Kari''s powers did something to him and returned to reality. "Who did this?!"

    "Yo Rorsak! I did it with this guy." Kari said happily while rasing his right, which was still on fire.

    "But why? And how?"

    "Well, long story short, this guy came to me and said that I must kneel and apologize. I humbly refused. After that he used Fire Fist and wanted to penetrate me, but I caught his fist and then tore his arm off. The end." Kari said while extinguishing fire on his hand.

    Rorsak was speechless. Not only did he catch Fire Fist, He also managed to tear the magicians limb off. Rorsak coughed and said.

    "If it was self-defense, then there is no problem. Magi! Carry this man to infirmary." Rorsak said as he told something to that sexy lady and then used earth magic to make a platform for himself. He then imbued his mana into his voice, thus enhancing it and making it even louder.

    "Young men and women! Today is the day of aptitute testing. All of you will be teleported to the testing grounds. This year, It was decided that test shall consist of One on One battles. Before that, We will check your Aptitudes towards magic with Mana Crystals. For the young man, who caused all this commotion, will be individual test.As for the rest of you, We will teleport you in pairs. The pair that will be teleported are the opponents."

    Rorsak snapped his fingers and some kind of dimensional magic opened up. He took out spherical crystal that was completely colorless. He infused it with some of his mana and then continued.

    "This crystal will analyse your mana and thus show your Aptitude towards certain Magical trees. The magical trees are Destruction, Creation, Augmentation, Conjuration, Restoration and Daemonic. Destruction Tree is consists of spells that are cast for one purpose only : Destruction. The most common element for Destruction magic is Fire and in terms raw power, Destruction tree is the second strongest. Creation spells can be used for defense and offense at the same time. Most common elements for it can be Earth and Water. Augmentation tree focuses on enhancing user, his allies or any piece of clothing or weaponry. Conjuration is focused on opening spirit realm and calling forth powerful spirits that can defend or attack as well. Restoration magic uses Light to restore and heal. Do not underestimate Restoration tree as without it, life, both in everyday lifeand on battlefield, would be much harder." Rorsak finished, but he hasn''t said anything about Daemonic tree. So Kari asked.

    "You didn''t say anything about Daemonic tree. What the hell is that?" Kari asked while using vulgar language. Although everyone was shocked, Rorsak sighed and replied.

    "Daemonic magic is a powerful one. It has the power of all of the previous trees, but It can not be controlled unless you are a demon. Even half-demons can not control it and end up going insane at the early stages of their life. It is a rare magic among demons and In other races it is even more rare for a child to be born with aptitude towards it." Kari smiled slightly.

    "Now come! We will see your aptitude!"

    People started going to this weird crystal. The placed their hands on top of it and it then shone colors correspondingly to user''s aptitude. Some of them had aptitudes towards 2 trees at the same time.

    Mira and Kari were the last participants to go to the crystal. Kari looked at Mira and said.

    "After you." Mira sligthly blushed while she infused her mana into the crystal. It shone brightly and Rorsak started laughing.

    "AHAHAH! Seems like we have a genious over here. Congratulations Miss! You have aptitude towards Augmentation, Restoration and Conjuration. THERE IS A GENIUS HERE!" Everyone started shouting! Some of them were cursing her and frowning.

    "WOW! Congrats Mira!" Kari said as he lifted the girl up with his hands, so that she was about 2 heads above him. With the help of Psychokinesis it was like raising Lis when she was just 1 year old. Mira blushed and started making cute noises. Kari realised what he has done and quickly put her down on the ground.

    "Sorry, I didn''t mean to do it like you were a kid or some shit. It''s just nice to see a good girl having such power." Kari said.

    She was actually a good girl. Kari scanned her entire subconscious when he touched her. Not a single bad thought, Not a single wicked intention that any noble would''ve had. She was a pure girl in every sense of the word.

    "N-N-No. It''s okay." She said as she slowly walked away while tugging her own dress tightly.

    "Now. Young man. Infuse it with your mana." Kari smiled even bigger. He "borrowed" big chunk of energy from his Psychokinetic blast and turned it into mana, infusing the crystal with it. It started glowing pure white. Everyone was shocked. Even the Light element''s color was gold. But what did White color mean?

    "Y-Young man. Do you know what this power is?" Rorsak asked waiting for a genious reply, that he didn''t get.

    "I don''t know. But I really want to finish this, so please test me first!" Kari said as he looked at Rorsak with puppy eyes. Then that sexy woman returned and whispered something in Rorsak''s ear. Kari heard her talking about his "Special" test. Apparently, he would have to fight with a 3rd year from the Kanis Magical Academy, The most powerful and well-known academy in the whole Drakas kingdom. Rorsak nodded and said.

    "Then I''m going to sleep. Is it alright with you?"

    "Sleep? Fine. I will put up a barrier around you, just in case. And I will ask them to bri-"

    "No need. I''m going to sleep on the ground and I don''t need barrier too."

    Kari just walked a few hundred meters. He found a perfect tree to sleep under. He just layed down and put his hands under his head.

    What kind of shitty world is this? They just let me sleep like this? Man, I hope that guy will be strong.

    Kari soon slipped into the dreamland. There he was thinking about Mira, the girl he met earlier. She was the first human outside of his family to have this kind of positive energy inside her. She was purity incarnate. And she was kinda cute too. Kari just shook his head and turned off his lucid dreaming. Now he would sleep in peace. Changing his body was a painful experience. He didn''t get enough sleep, so he would just replenish it right now. Big fight is coming up now.

    Probably, his life would be changed after it. Who knows?

 Chapter 8 - Lack of faith

    Feeling some sort of presence nearby, Kari quickly got up and looked towards the direction of said presence. However instead of danger, he saw Mira. Lowering his guard, he layed back down and waited for her.

    "H-Hello."

    "Hi."

    ...

    ...

    Okay, this is getting really awkward.

    "So Mira, what brings you here?"

    "O-Oh, I forgot. I thought that you might be hun-hungry, so I brought some of my sandwiches." Kari jumped up after hearing the word "Sandwich". He quickly sat in front of Mira and was looking at a small hand-made basket.

    "Can I really have it?" Kari''s salivary glands were working on full right now. It was like a flood inside of his own mouth. He was pretty hungry. This new body required lots of energy too.

    "Y-Yes." Mira said while taking one triangle shaped sandwich out of her basket. Her hand was shaking and her face looked like ripe.

    "Like really really?"

    "Really."

    "Really really really?"

    "Really really really." She started chuckling and her face went back to normal for a bit. Kari carefully took the sandwich out of her small arm and started eating.

    Damn it tastes like mom''s! I might even marry you.

    "So... A-Are you not afraid?" She asked about his "test". She asked Rorsak to tell her about Kari''s test and somehow, he told her about it.

    "Nope." Kari said while taking out another sandwich greedily.

    "But, what if she''s stronger than you?"

    "I''m not gonna pass the test and she will probably kill me for offending a member of her family and her family itself." Mira was shocked right now. The way he talks about losing and killing, his demonstration of violence from before, the way he talks. Mira only heard such things from veterans which visited her family once in a while.

    "You are really cool." Mira said without even knowing it, but as soon as she realized what she said, her face turned redder than before. Kari swallowed the sandwich and simply smiled.

    "He, thanks for that Mira." Wow... Someone called me cool. This feels great.

    Next 5 minutes they were just eating silently. From 20 sandwiches that Mira brought, she ate only 3 and the rest of it was already inside Kari''s stomach. Now he was happily rubbing his belly. Then he once again sensed a presence. This time he didn''t even stand up.

    "Mira. Someone''s coming from there." Kari said as he pointed towards the fountain. "Can you tell me who it is?"

    Why is she so scared? It''s not like she is the one who will fight.

    Kari didn''t even bother standing up. He just simply looked at the blue sky, while thinking about those amazing sandwiches that were now gone. For some reason, he was hungry again. After a few minutes, someone stopped a few yards in front of him.

    "Hey!" Do all nobles except Mira have annoying tone like that?

    "Yes? Can I be of any assistance?" Kari said as he slightly tilted his head, just enough to see a girl with golden hair, looking down on him.

    "Are you Kari?"

    "Nope. And that name doesn''t ring any bells either." Kari said as he turned over.

    "I''m not done talking to you, look at me."

    "But I''m done talking to you. Go away."

    "Now I''m sure of it! You are the one who made my brother into a laughing stock." She was really angry right now, Kari could feel it even without looking at her. "The examiners are watching. I am going to kill you right here and now."

    She started chanting something, but then stopped. She looked at Mira.

    "Mira. Why are you here with this guy? Get out of here or you will get hurt too."

    "W-Well... He was sleeping here and he was going to fight you, so I thought that I should cheer him up." Last part of the sentence was barely audible, but both the girl and Kari heard her. This girl was surprised now.

    "Him? You want to cheer HIM up? Weren''t you there Mira? Didn''t you see what she did to my brother?" OHOHO, so you are his sister huh? I wonder how strong your humerus bone is.

    "Y-Yes, I was there. But it isn''t his fault! It was self-defense. Your brother wanted to kill him first. Julia, I''m telling the truth." Julia always trusted Mira. They almost grew up together. Even Julia knew that her brother was a rare kind of asshole. Unlike him, she wasn''t feeling that proud about her family background. But still...

    "But he insulted him first didn''t he? And he also almost left him without a single arm for the rest of his life! I trust you Mira, but this time I don''t think that you are telling the truth. Nonetheless, this is his test and he must fight with me in order to pass it."

    "Haaaah." Kari sighed as he stood up. Julia didn''t see him very well when he was down on the ground. But now, she saw the towering height of this boy. She was pretty tall herself, but this kind of height is only seen in orcs and some human warriors. "Okay! I''m gonna fight you. But first..."

    Kari said as Mira was raised in the air and gently carried across the whole garden. Julia has never seen this kind of magic. Even her superior Wind magic would never do this feat with that kind of precision and elegancy.

    "Now then. Tell me, What must I do so I can pass." Kari asked as he placed his hands on his hips.

    "You must either kill me or make me surrender." Julia said as she jumped back a dozen yards.

    "Sounds good to me. Let''s start."

    Julia charged her legs with Wind magic. She unsheathed her sword. It was a rapier.

    She''s probably gonna charge and pierce me. Does she really think that I''m a fucking idiot?

    The air around Julia started spiralling with her in the center of this spiral. Small green light started "Flickering" near her and in the blink of an eye, she already charged. But when she came close to Kari, something weird happened.

    "By the way..." I always wanted to do this. "I find your lack of faith in Mira disturbing."

    Kari was holding his hand in front of him and It was shaped as if it was holding something. Julia was lifted in the air. She grasped her own throat in search of something that was there.

    "Wkha-" She tried to speak, but the air couldn''t escape her lungs, nor could air go in. It was as if someone was choking her.

    "Now, listen here Julia. I deduced that you are not as much of an asshole as your little bro. hence, I will not kill you or harm you in any way. Now just give up and let''s finish this."

    "N-Nevvvv..."

    "You are already blue. It will be bad for your health if you don''t give up." Even though Kari was saying it like he was mocking her, he actually didn''t want to go further than that.

    "W-WAIT!" Kari heard a scream from behind him. "J-Julia. Please! Just give up! You can''t beat him."

    "M-Mir..."

    "PLEASE! I DON''T WANT YOU TO DIE." Mira was crying now. Damn... Now I almost feel like an asshole... Almost.

    "A...Ah G-Giiiv..." As soon as she "said" that, the pressure on her throat disappeared and she was softly put down on the ground.

    Kari looked towards the west end of the garden. He knew that Rorsak and that hot lady were watching them, maybe couple other people. Kari made a fist and then extended his index and middle fingers.

    "Th-Th-Th-Th-Th-Thats all folks!"
