 Chapter 1 Another World?

    In this modern day where society ignore low class people and are ruled by the money , connections and politics. Where those who have power and money trample upon those of low class society. Where weak become weaker and powerful become more powerful. "This world is rotten this world is trash"


    Currently i am in convenience store to go stock up my supplies before the release of a new online game "The World" which is an VRMMORPG where players are allowed to build and create cities. It is the most anticipated game on the whole world almost 85% of the companies in the whole world invested on the game, Expected to reach 100million of players. I plan to lock my self in my apartment for the whole year i worked and save up just for this moment im gonna make a living in game. Selling items , gold , information and live streaming.


    On the way back to my apartment after buying all i need theres a older woman around age 26 to 30 dragging a little girl judging from her uniform i say a middle schooler. It seems her mother just picked her up from school and now going home and suddenly the little girl looked at me and started crying while pointing at me and pulling her mom. It seem she is interested in the ice cream i am licking. I walked pass by them and cross the road. After crossing i want to tease the little girl so i looked back and sneered to annoy the girl but instead i noticed the truck speeding at their side at this rate it will hit the little girl the mother did not notice the little girl tried to cross the road in anger due to my teasing then i rushed at the girl pushed her back then ... *crash*


    In my last moment i was thinking about the game The World where all players waited for 5years on the release and much more sad is that the release is tommorow. I cant move my body and im feeling cold im feeling sleepy closed my eyes and to think my impulse and reflex caused me to sacrifice my self to save the girl. The only thing i regret is that i did not lose my v*rgi*ity even though i lived 23years. Atleast i feel fullfilled in those years i spent all my time playing games and reading novels and manga im satisfied in all those years. Then i died. . .

    [Im alive?. Ahh my whole body hurts..]


    Then i look up opened my eyes and see other kids sitting across me and some kids at my left side laying down with a white cloth with a little blood stains around its shoulder seems like he is injured , in my right a girl with silver hair which is kinda darker silver due to dirt and not being maintained are currently handing out dark breads and soup. Now that i think about it i noticed all of us are wearing tattered dirty white cloth that barely cover the important parts, and i examine my condition i am on the same situaton like the guy on my left , im covered with white cloth from my chest, stomach and shoulder. I due to feeling exhausted and experiencong terrible pain i slowly lay down and pass out.


    After some time passed i woke up due to sudden shaking then i examined the surrounding and to my surprise i was in a cage no to be exact we are in a cage along with the other kids i see the first time i wake up and we are in this some kind of transportation like on manga or novels " thats right carriege" yes we are in a carriege. Due to some rest after passing out last rime my body is not hurting that much and i can muster a bit of my strength to support my self and attempt to stand up then when im halfway to standing suddenly i was suddenly pushed from behind and caused me to lose my balance then i fall.


    [Hey be gentle cant you see he is injured] (????)


    Said the girl with the silver hair while assisting me to sit down.


    [Well its that kid fault for trying to stand up and cant just obediently sit down] (????)


    Said the bald man in ridiculing smile and disgust.

    I asked questions in hurry that i started to cough blood then i look at my chest it started to bleed.

    After relaxing a bit while she is fixing my bandages around my chest i asked her...

    The girl looked in surprise then..

    Then suddenly the carriege stopped and 1 of the men in front shouted in Panic...


    [Boss...theres a Kin Dragon ahead](???)


    A kin dragon suddenly appeared through the trees and blocked the road.


    [Why is it a Kin Dragon in here we are pretty far feom wasteland!!!?] (??)


    Said the other guy in the back while shaking and turning pale trying to run away...


    [Dont run away its just 1 kin dragon and i think its just a stray even though its an S class dragon its still an infant go surround it theres 3 B class adventurer in here if we kill it we will make a name pf ourselves through the country] (Bald Man)


    Said the bald man who pushed the MC a minute ago and draw his sword going at the kin dragon. Kin dragons are massive that grows 30 to 40 meters in adulthood. And the one they encounter is a child maybe 3 months old around 3 to 5 meters long.


    [R¨°oooooooaaaarrrrrrr] (kin dragon)


    Kin dragon let out a roar which caused the kids inside the cage to fear and cry. And the horses run the horse that pull the carriege escaped.


    The guards who attempted to fight it got scared and the first one to run was the one who suggested to fight it the bald man then was followed by the man with too much jewelries and clean cloth seemz like its the one who drives the carriege.


    [Boss !.] (???)


    [Captain] (??)


    While they look at their back their boss already started running and they realised they need to escape then the moment they turned around..


    [Kuhk..] (???)


    He spat blood he raised his shield on time but still attained fatal damage. The kin dragon already swiped the 1 of the body of the guards got cut 1 of the guards to half .. kin dragon claw is so sharp that its comparable to S class sword. The guard crashed to the carriege which caused the carriege to fall down to its side.


    [Quick go out assist those who are injured stop crying or we will all die!!!] (Rena)


    She said in panic voice while looking at the kids getting up after the crash and rushed out through the gap


    [Go run to where the owner run] (Rena)

    After hearing that the mc shouted


    [No!!!.. go to the forest and hide you are on plain view of the monster if you are on the road!!...] [MC]


    She was dumbfounded for a while then quickly regained herself then she shouted again...


    [Run to the forest!!! ... Hurry!!!] (Rena)


    After that they all go to the forest while the dragon was walkimg towards the carriege to finish the guard then suddenly it looked at the sky and roared again this caused the children to fear all their faces turned pale.


    [A..re we gonna die?] (???)


    Said one of the kids while hugging thightly to each other..


    The mc looked up and see two more dragons flying in the sky hovering the trees 8 to 10 time more bigger than the dragon that attacked them.


    [Shhhh...Dont move or make any noise dont open your eyes either] (MC)


    Considering they are still children they will surely pass out from this scene due to shock. The dragon that attacked the carriege flapped its wings then flew towards the two dragons.


    [I think thats the dragons parents.... thats big] (MC)


    Mc muttered in low voice while in awe of the scenery and realized its not earth he knew.

    Owner = the man with lots of jewelries that ran woth the bald guy


    Bald guy = the capt of the guards

 Chapter 2 Towards East (part 1)

    After the dragon that attacked the carriege is gone the mc looked at the group of kids arround 5 to 8yrs old arround the shade of the big tree and there are 12 of them 3 male and 9 girls, the mc was shocked that they still closimg their eyes and shivering the mc then relaxed and said


    [Stay here. Im going to the carriege to check the man that crashed on the carriege] (MC)


    Then rena looked at the mc in shock and confused face can be seen on her


    [Why do you worry about them! They''re the reason why we are in cage! Leave him alone let him die] (Rena)


    It seems rena really despise the guards Now the mc that was trying to leave look back at rena and realized he still did not grasp the situation after possesing this young boys exhausted body


    [Yeah.. then why are we in cage?..i cant seem to remember](Rena)


    Rena still with her disbelief and confuse face sighed


    [You really do not remember anything](Rena)


    Then rena started to explain what happened.


    [So you say that i begged the merchant owner for extra food and clothing because i saw you guys being starve and cold? Then the merchant snapped and keep beating me half dead then i passed out and that was the cause of this heavy injuries i got?] (MC)

    Then the mc have a thought in his head and guessed that


    {hmmm maybe the original owner of this body realy died and i possesed it somehow on its dying state} but still i dont think this is earth though well definitely not just judging from those dragon and this freakingly big tree we are hiding at, hmm what wait a minute

    Rena eyes widened and instantly become sad like remembering its sad past and answered


    [Its because we are going to be sold as slaves in some city] (Rena)


    Hmm slaves? We are slaves? Now it all make sense our clothes our food how they treat us and these malnourished starved bodies..he looked at rena that about to cry

    Rena was thankful and wipe the tears in the side of her eyes and smiled. The who was across her standing saw her smile and the mc feel her heart skip...

    [If we keep going where the sun rise we will arrive at the border of wasteland and the grand canyon i dont recommend going to cities because the merchand who owned us have many connection we might just become slaves again if we go to any cities] (Rena)


    [Dont worry i already have a little understanding in this world base on that slave merchant and the fact there is slave ] (Odin)


    Odin then after some thought decided to bring them all and help them survive together with odins knowledge on the past and his vaaast knowledge of manga novel and game he is determined he can do it and the reason he is so calm is also because of that but first..


    [Come follow me we will all go to the border of wasteland up north but first lets go to the carriege first and find whatever we can use we cant travel with our current possesion and we are too tired] (Odin)


    After odin said that they all searched the area where the carriege crashed. odin saw the guard already dead and covered it. with fatal injury as that no one will recover from that..


    After some time passed They all gathered all the things that they can use at the big frwaking tree they hide last time and checked what they got.


    [First this wear all of this clothes even if its in adult size it does bot matter it will protect you from cold then replwnish your energy grab those fruits and eat we cant carry all of this anyway so better eat it but dont rush eat slowly oe you moght get sick] (Odin)


    Odin look at all of them felt sad this probably the first time they eat to their fill in their lives. He felt sad but feel happy at the same time. Its lucky that the merchant did stock up intending to sell it on the other cities so theres so many useful items they aquired theres even 3 short sword and 2 daggers at the box


    [Now lets not waste time after resting for 3 minutes lets move to the wasteland by the way rena how many days does it take to travel there? From here by foot](Odin)


    Odin asked rena under the shade of the freaking big tree


    [I... dont know all i know is that it will be a wasteland if the ground is dry and it will be great canypn if the ground is brown](Rena)


    Rena answer in disdain.


    Ahhh why did i not think about that they all still kids how can they even know that most of them probably just started to help their families work.


    [Hmhm.. okay sorry for asking something complicated.. based on what you said if land is dry wasteland and if brown grand canyon?] (Odin)


    [Yes thats right from what i heard from travellers who passed by 1 of them said they walked nonstop for months where the sun rise and he arrived at wasteland] (Rena)

    Then odin climbed uphill to observe its surounding he was excited just pass the trees is cliff he stand and look at the view {the world is so big and vast the air have no traces of polluted and the scenery is so awespiring and calming along with the sunset and hm?..}


    [Rena isnt that the waste land border over there? ] (Odin) while pointing in a direction


    [Yeah thats it the border dry lands crack can be seen on the ground just like in the stories](Rena)


    Come call the others we will reach at the land grand canyon border in 3 days if its that close.. after travelling for 3 hrs they stopped in a cavelike mountain to rest.


    After observing the surroundings and feel like its safe odin told the group


    [Its already getting dark we need to set up and rest here for the day](Odin)


    Then they gathered dry woods which was plenty because they are near the wasteland and water at the lake nearby and created a campfire inside the small cavelike hill "its not entirely a cave it just barely gave them roof in case of rain"


    [Argh...] (Odin)


    said frustatedly while makomg a campfire.


    {If i knew this would happen i should have gone to the boys scout group to learn this even tho i knew the principle its still hard}

    After 30minutes of grinding the wood he finally got some smoke and hurriedly put dried grass then put it at the pile of wood he arranged beforehand l. Then the campfire was made

    Then they all sit down circling the corner of the campfire after putting down what they carry from the carriege wreckage and rena distributed fruits and dried meat to everyone to eat.


    [Here everyone eat just 1 at a time there still much it will last us for 6days if we save it] (Rena) said while handing out fruits and half a dried meat


    "Dried meat i imagine it like bacon size or is it jerky? I dont know bit you got the idea hehe sorry"


    Its already night the surrounding is already dark after odin finished his food he looked at the others and {looks like they were really rires they fall asleep already but rena still awake just finished cleaning thr bondage of her brother ren walked across to odin


    [Stay still im going to clean your bondages also] (Rena) said in a caring manner


    [Thank you] (Odin)


    [You really have changed alot. The first time we met you never talk to anyone of us and you just sit at the corner and eat silently..](Rena) after a pause she continued

    The mc who was listening while his bondages are getting fixed and clean look at rena and said


    [Ofcourse.. its only natural to help each other as long as you guys are with me i will protect you as long as its within my capabilities] (Odin) said proudly


    Ofcourse the Odin just made that up trying to act cool infront of rena. Theres no way he remembers whqt happened to this body in past 8 yrs the only thing he remembers is his previous life and what happen today..


    [Odin canwhy you want to the border lands of the wasteland and grand canyon? From what i heared the people even the king qvoided those area due to hard conditions of living and it is far from the country] (Rena) asked curiously


    [Thats the reason why we will go there.. currently we are slaves we will end up being a slave again if we pass any of the gates of the country. Atleast at the border lands we can live quitly for a while then if time pass the merchant that owned us will think we are dead and forget then we can go to the country again] (Odin)


    Rena nodded and just finished fixing Odin''s bondages stand up and said


    [Yeah you''re right. You are the oldest among us here so we will follow you to do the border] (Rena)


    Even though odin is shocked about how easy rena believed him so easily well maybe because she dont have a place to go back to and placed her hopes at me. I think its the same to everyone here.


    {Theres only two reasons why they became slave either their hometown is destroyed and attacked by bandits then they become slave or they are sold to the merchant.. yeah the moment slave word came last time odin already knew some general concept of how this world works}


    [I promise to protect you all... but for now lets rest already we still have to travel tommorow] (Odin)


    Then rena walked back near her brother and lay down beside him then i extinguish the fire just incase to avoid some attention. He is not worried that the childrens will be feeling cold due to the fact that they got alot of cloth previously.


    After listening to the insects on the surrounding he fell asleep.

 Chapter 4 Concealed Area

    Chapter 4


    Morning came and they are already at the forest with the freakingly big trees just across this forest is the border of grand canyon and wasteland so the group entered the forest they are close to each other so to not get lost along the way , while odin in front leading everyone , rena and ren at the middle and back.


    The injuries they have yesterday already healed up that they can move seems like a night rest and bondages was efdective. And everyone of them full of energy even tho they still skinny its not like malnourishmeny will be fixed in a single night, but they have energy their eyes are alive unlike on the cage. The sense of being in danger and no one to rely on made them sad bit determined to move forward.


    [Lets rest here for a minute , arrange the things here ill go scout the road ahead abit then go back] (Odin)


    After scouting for a while and decided that its okay to proceed later he goes back to the group and sat down.


    [Hows the road ahead ? Is it safe?] (Rena)


    Rena asked while handing a fruit and jerky


    [Yeah its fine no animals monster whatsoever it looks like we will arrive at the border tommorow if we keep this pace] (Odin)


    Then he looked at the box they got and sighed , {looks like we got a problem on our food supplies i dont think it will last for 2 days} but i cant tell them no to eat and save food i want them to recover their skinny body from malnaurishment...


    [Everyone gather up , i have something to tell] (Odin)


    Then everyone stopped chatting and gathered in front of odin , odin decided thid is a good time to tell them his plans now that they calmed down odin standing in front started to talk


    [Many of you probably still dont know me after all those chaos that happened yesterday , i am Odin the oldest in this group i will be leading this group to the borfer of wasteland to hide for sometime] (Odin)


    He stopped and observe their reaction its not easy to trust someone so he need to be clear about it and if they dont want to go with him he will respect their decision


    [Can i ask why we will go at the border? And not on the city?] (???girl 1)


    Asked one of the girls in front with black shoulder length hair ,frail skinny body and long clothes not her size

    Everyone nodded in agreement Odin realized he lacks knowledge about the world currently and just based everything on what rena told him


    Odin grabbed something on his pocket and showed it to everyone

    Odin raised his hand holding a square plate with writings on it , odin knew what it is because it is similar to ID on Earth name, hometown , occupation is probably whats written but he is still not sure. The plate is from the box they are carrying its probably the merchants owner identification plate.

    [Yes this is identification plates , so if we dont manage getting ourselves this plates even if we go inside any city we will just become slaves again] (Odin)


    Everyone nodded again but this time they all have no doubts and know why they were going to borders and not in towns or cities.


    [Now lets go we still have so much to do when we arrive there and one more thing](Odin)


    Odin looked at everyone and adked ren and 2 other boys to come on front and handed them short sword


    [Here hold on this , currently we still have a food in us but its not gonna last forever so be ready and help me if we encounter some wild animals or monster be ready](odin)


    After a short pause he shifted his gaze to everyone


    [That goes to everyone , if you come across some edible plant along the way grab it](Odin)


    Now that they have clean goal they now sat up and started heading east again while the 2 boys with short sword following behind odin.


    After they found a cover they stopped and decided tp rest the night. Its already night and they encounter a problem they have no more water the juggs of water they got from the carriege was now empty.


    {Tomorrow we need to find some source of water}


    After walking the forest untill afternoon they found a river and found a boar 2 meter of size dringking up the river after the boys killed it ,then the girls walked to the river to fill up the jugg that will last them 4 more days.


    Odin and the others are standing on guard in case another wild animal nearby the surroundings. After odin observed the surroundings to be safe he decided to settle down in this area.


    Theres a river and one hour walk to the west is the forest they have gone to and only about five hour walk to the borders. And the place they are at are considerably concealed from the main road. Its already afternoon and night is coming


    [Everyone unload your luggage, and gather up some wood for the fire](Odin)


    Right now everyone already acknowledged odin as their leader its because of what happened at the boar a while ago it was because of odin that they successfully hunted down the boar and everyone is now smiling in front of the campfire some are even drooling while odin and rena cooked some of its meat in the campfire.


    After they finished eating odin suddenly talked to everyone that circled the campfire


    [Everyone we dont need to move tommorow , i decided it will be good if we stay within this area] (Odin)


    After explaining to everyone that they are safe in this area that are concealed from the main road and the fact the land is rich in resources specially the river and the ground is fertile with the forest behind them if they establish or hunt together they have enough already. After a long explanation to everyone


    [Lets sleep now we still need to wake up early tommorow] (Odin)
