    "What the hell it true consciousness? Selected to continue? " I murmur to myself.


    Inhaling slowly, focusing on my breath, I begin to focus myself byslowing it down.


    Okay, the same standardI always do things with, I don''t have to have "The Answers," I choose to follow my gut, make assumptions, and get out of my head as quickly as possible so I can focus on the environmentI''m within.


    So, what am I not accepting? #1 Earth is a simulation; I''ve read some articles (well, the headlines and skimming but that''s how I read stuff that doesn''t interest me) Simulated Reality Theory is something I''m accepting: I''ve watched The Matrix; and done cool drugs like LSD and DMT; frankly I live with the knowledge that this all is within my head, within my brain really.


    Thinking about it, there isn''t anything that I experience that isn''t in my head - Touch? Taste? Sight? more like SIMULATION. Do you expect me to believe that a collection of cells that I call my body is anything but a fancy vehiclefor consciousness? You touch something, there''sa series of reactions goes through your nervoussystem, that gets translated into chemicals and somehow yourbrain is able to make sense of all that jazz and it becomes a collective experience.The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.


    That brings me to #2 Consciousness. I''ll spare myself the info dump, knowing that it''s a topic that can be observed for days, years, until you forget about it as a topic for self-reflection or decide to give up thinking about it..where was I? ohya, CONSCIOUSNESS. It''s one of those concepts that''s difficult to hold because we''re not exactly designed to think about it. We''re designed to think about what would aid us for survival and procreation.


    With that said, "[NEW LIFE] meaning that you''ve achieved a level of true consciousness" to me means that most people as I stated only self-reflect to the capacity of what''s useful for survival/procreation. I believe this to be the truth because that''s what I''ve experienced; if you go into a Yoga studio/class for example, no matter how spiritual the place looks, howgreat the people look, what they talk about, or how they make you feel. The majority is there to increase there chances of getting laid, it''s all about the body.


    I''m not saying thatyoga isn''t a legitimate practice, using it like it''s intended tobe used to exercise the body in preparationfor meditation or other activities that requireintensive focus is a legitimate consciousness expanding activityin my opinion. What''s driving most people isn''t that though, and that''s okay, wanting to have a better body to secure more opportunity, be healthy, and to have better sex is also its function.


    Grr...What I''m trying to distinguish is the difference between actions driven by survival/procreation of the body or actions driven by something else!


    That something else and your relationship with, within it, is Consciousness.


    And finally, #3 ''selected to continue.'' That''s easy, Reincarnation.
