《A God's Freedom》 Prolog Blood filled they sky and rained down in it¡¯s shining scarlet color. Bodies piled up to form mountains of death surrounded by a sea of crimson that slowly but steadily grew in size. Up above in the sky beings of all forms and shapes fought their bitter fight accompanied by the thundering beat of the drums. A dragon, long and slender, beautiful and eternal opened its bloodied mouth and produced an horrifying roar as it pounced upon a beautiful goddess. Her white gown was tainted in the familiar red as the dragon¡¯s claws ripped at her body. Its mouth bit down with force and tore her neck apart. Head and body descended towards the ground only to disappear in an endless sea of corpses. The dragon continued its frenzy attacking anything on it¡¯s way until it was stopped by three gods, also wearing white clothes. The sky seemed to shatter as they clashed in an horrid display of might, shockwaves devastating the bloodied lands below.Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings. The dragons body fell, never to ascend again. The three gods couldn¡¯t celebrate their victory as a group of white foxes shot through the air, accompanied by a sea of fire. Despairing cries and yells rang out as the gods were incinerated and turned into black ashes. All around them dragons fought, large fish attacked humanoid gods, apes attacked with all they had. Thousands upon thousands of celestial beings had appeared to this bloody carnage, hundreds upon hundreds turned into bloody piles of dead, rotting flesh. Only one melody stood out amongst the symphony of death, the drums rhythmic beats accompanied by simple lyrics. ¡°Go and fight until your end, Thu gods who you are eternal. In bloody battle you struggle again. And may it be in vain! For a god is born free And a god shall die free!¡± And blood pained the sky red. That god called Ji Author here. Has been some time since I last published anything on this side. I failed some of my older stories and kind of became afraid to start anything new from that time. So yeah this is kind of a new beginning. By the way if anyone read my old stories, fret no I have improved my english and my writing skills (especcially my grammar) so there won''t be the cyptic scribbles I did in my early times. Hope you enjoy! ______ ¡°Let me ask you, do you believe in Gods?¡± (Ji) ¡°No of course not!¡± (Sa~) ¡°That¡¯s a bad¡.¡± (Ji) ¡°Why would this be bad?¡± (Sa~) ¡° ¡¯Cause I¡¯m a god.¡± (Ji) ¡. ¡°No you aren¡¯t?¡± (Sa~) ¡°Are you sure about that.¡± (Ji) ¡°¡ No¡¡± (Sa~) ¡°Let me show you.¡± (Ji) The texting stocked for a moment. Sija stared at the display and became nervous for a moment. She didn¡¯t believe that the person she knew under the nickname Ji would truly be a god. There was no way she would believe that, it was just one of those ridiculous claims people make on the internet! Yet she stared at the chat. She wanted to know just what this person she didn¡¯t really know would try to do in order to convince her. Suddenly someone tapped at her shoulder. She freaked out and a shrill cry echoed through the three-story tall building. ¡°Calm, girl, calm down!¡±, a startled and slightly panicked voice came from behind her. ¡°I told you I would show you, didn¡¯t I?¡± She shuddered and turned around slowly. A vaguely familiar face appeared in front of her. It was the same face as the one of the avatar Ji was using¡. Sija fainted. Ji stood there staring like an idiot. Then he suddenly sighed. ¡°Humans really react in the most stupid ways¡¡±, he breathed in and took a look around the room. It was quite tidy, large enough for a teenage girl and decorated in a simple but nice manner. All in all, Ji liked it. He hesitated for a moment and looked at Saji who had fainted in her chair. Then he looked around once more and walked over to the bed that was placed in one corner of the room. He sat down and thought about what to do now. After some time, he took out something from his pocket. It was a small, very flat stone. He reached into his other pocket and took out a piece of charcoal. Then a drew an circle onto the stone. It was unfinished with a small gap between one end and the other. The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there. He looked at the stone for a while, then he nodded. ¡°Yep this should work¡.¡±, he said faintly. He stood up again walked to the middle of the room and got onto one knee. He placed the stone in front of him and gently blew onto the circle. The black powder of the charcoal was blown of the stone, but instead of falling to the ground it rose up into a revolving circle. It was unfinished just as the circle on the stone was, but as it revolved faster and faster it appeared to become complete. Ji snapped his finger and the black circle changed form. It expanded and formed two distinct black blobs which continued to move in a circle. Those blobs continued to change and slowly more details became visible. Fins began to form, and the blobs took the form of two fish. Long barbs appeared on their mouths and a black and white pattern appeared on their bodies. Soon after two perfect koi-fish flew in front of Ji. Their barbs were to long and they flew in the air. They truly were prefect koi¡. One was mostly black with a white pattern on it, the other was mostly white and had a black pattern. They looked extremely beautiful and there was no doubt that koi enthusiasts would pay thousands of euros to purchase one of them. Ji grinned, satisfied with the result. He rose up and looked over to Saji who still wasn¡¯t moving. ¡°Girl wake up. You can¡¯t sleep forever!¡±, he walked over to her and gently flicked his finger against her forehead. She twitched a little and her eyeslids flattered. Her eyes rapidly opened as did her mouth. ¡°What the actual fuck!¡±, was the first thing she exclaimed. She stared at Ji. ¡°How¡. HOW????!¡±, she was a total mess. Ji looked awkward. ¡°I told you I was a god¡..¡± She stared at him like he was an idiot. ¡°There are no gods.¡±, she stated. His eyebrows rose. ¡°Then how do you explain those?¡±, he pointed at the two koi who had stopped flying in circles and now flew all across the room. Saji stared even more. Her brain seemed to crash again as she did not react for some time. Ji waited for her response, rolling his eyes at her reaction. ¡°This koi¡ ok fuck this!¡±, she suddenly closed her eyes and clenched her fists. For about three seconds she did nothing, then she relaxed her hands and opened her eyes, directly staring at Ji. ¡°Who¡are¡.. you?¡± ¡°Finally.¡±, Ji smiley. ¡°Finally, a proper question. Well as you already know I am Ji. And yeah, I¡¯m a god.¡± She stared again. Then she started to nod slowly. ¡°Ok¡. You are a god¡. So, what do you want? Why are you here?¡± ¡°I¡¯m bored. I wanted to talk to you in person.¡±, Ji shrugged his shoulders. ¡°Ya know we gods have quite a lot of time to do stuff, so I thought it would be fun to talk to you and show you some stuff. I didn¡¯t think you would faint for a few moments once I come here¡¡± ¡°You came for fun¡¡±, she repeated, somehow sounded defeated. ¡°Yep.¡±, he cheerfully said. ¡°By the way, these koi are for you.¡±, he shot a glance at the two koi and they floated over to Saji, circling her and sometimes brushing against her. It almost looked like they wanted to show their affection. Saji looked somewhat nervous, but she allowed the koi to stay by her side. She seemed to have calmed down a bit and after a few moments she stretched out her hand to touch one of the koi. After she touched it and confirmed that it truly was real and not some sort of hallucination she looked back to Ji. ¡°So¡, what are we going to do now?¡±, she sounded a little nervous but also excited. Ji seemed to think for a while. He made a little shrug. ¡°I have no fucking idea.¡± ¡°Great¡¡± Saji, 16 years old, sat in front of a god and asked herself whether she had gone crazy. _______ And this kids is why you shouldn''t text with random people on the internet! Love, the author Gods do things the way they do Ji and Saji stared at each other. About five minutes had passed since one of them had said something. Finally, Saji couldn¡¯t take the silence any longer. ¡°Can¡¯t you¡. Like¡ tell me how you did that?¡±, she pointed at the two koi which were still circling her. Ji¡¯s eyes brightened up. ¡°Sure! I drew a circle on that stone an-¡°, he stocked mid-sentence. His expression changed, and he reached out with his hand to grab Saji by her shoulder. Then the space around the two of them began to bend itself. Both their bodies slowly deformed until they became nothing more then blobs. The two koi circling Saji seemed to be frozen as they couldn¡¯t do anything against it. Ji exclaimed an angry yell. Energy was ejected from his body and stabilized the space around both. Their bodies turned back to normal and the two koi who had been frozen up till this point blurred as they dashed in circles around Saji. Their bodies seemed to dissolve into black and wide powder which went on to form a protective sphere around her. Ji¡¯s expression was horrible, his short brown hair was messed up. The look in his greyish eyes showed his fury as he rapidly rose to his feet. He lifted his head and stared at the ceiling of the roof. Of course, it wasn¡¯t the roof he was staring at, but the sky above it. ¡°You really want to fuck with me, hm?¡±, his voice was bone chilling as he spoke. A terrifying energy formed around him and suddenly his clothes changed into a strange looking plate armor. Wind sprang up from nowhere and messed up the room. Books and papers were thrown around the air, the furniture was damaged and suffered under the terrifying pressure. Ji looked like an ancient war god, ready to go into battle. Saji was frightened, but couldn¡¯t move. The sphere around her seemed to protect her, but it also limited her movement. The only thing she could do was open her mouth and speak. ¡°Ji¡¡±, her voice was feeble, but it somehow managed to pierce through the terrifying wind and reach Ji¡¯s ears. Ji glanced over to Saji and noticed her fearful expression. His mouth distorted, and he threw a last furious look up to the ceiling, then he sighed. ¡°One day¡¡±, he muttered in a frustrated voice. The wind calmed down and disappeared as fast as it had appeared, the terrifying energy retracted back into Ji¡¯s body and the black and white sphere which had protected Saji turned back into the two koi which were still vigilantly swimming around her. Ji¡¯s expression remained somewhat cold. It only eased up after he had looked around the room and seen the damage he had caused. He looked over to the frightened Saji and his expression turned apologetic. ¡°I¡¯m¡ sorry for this.¡±, he bowed his head. ¡°I didn¡¯t think that bastard would attack me as soon as I came here¡¡±, he looked straight into Saji¡¯s eyes to see her reaction. She remained silent, her eyes pinned to Ji¡¯s. For a few breaths of time no one said anything. Then she slowly exhaled. ¡°I¡¯m not even surprised.¡±, she said, somewhat calmer than Ji would have expected. In a sudden burst of energy she stood up, took two steps forward so that she stood right in front of Ji and looked right into his eyes. Her eyes narrowed. ¡°You. Are. Going. To. Clean. This. Up!¡± She stressed every single word and suddenly instead of being a frightened frail girl she appeared to be a terrifying angry landlady who had just found her tenant destroying her house. Ji stared for a moment, wondering how her attitude could have changed this much within only a few moments, then his frown turned into a relaxed smile. If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it. ¡°Yes milady!¡±, brightly grinning he made an exaggerated bow. Then he once again flicked with his fingers. A second wind appeared from nowhere, gentler then the one before, and picked up all the litter that was scattered across the room. The book magically flew back to their original positions and the papers floated upon Saji¡¯s desk to form a small pile. Within a few moments the wind had placed everything back to it¡¯s original place and the room was just as tidy as it had been before. ¡°Is this fine enough for the lady?¡±, Ji grinned. Saji just shook her head. ¡°I can¡¯t even wonder anymore¡¡±, she shot a glance at Ji. ¡°So, what now?¡± Ji looked at her for a moment. He disappeared. ¡°We are going to have some fun¡¡±, he reappeared right behind Saji and pulled at her shoulders. She couldn¡¯t keep her balance and fell backwards. They both disappeared from the room. ¡ A split second later a powerful red bold of lightning descended from the sky and turned the entire building into rubble. Around the same time news channels suddenly reported about buildings and cities being destroyed. Strange beings seemed to pop up from all parts of the world. Chaos swallowed more and more of the world. Posts on the internet claimed to have seen flying wolves hunting for humans and eating their whole bodies, other posts told stories about powerful beings protecting them from strange small humans who wanted to kill them. There was a video of a small fairy-like being flying around a rural town in western Europe. The human world descended into chaos as what had been around from the beginning of humanity finally showed itself on the surface of the world. Somewhere, far away from the now destroyed building where Saji had lived, two figures materialized on the damp street. It was night time and the wetness of the street as well as the small puddles that lined the street told Saji that it should have rained a few moments ago. All around them were bright lights. They reflected in the water and illuminated the night. Music and a milliard other sounds mixed into the typical background sounds of a large city. Neon signs advertised every type of shop one could imagine. The strangest names and slogans seeked to attract costumers for their services. It perfectly fitted the image of a large city¡¯s nightlife! A man with small trees growing on his head bumped into Saji. He stopped and turned around. ¡°Oh sorry, I didn¡¯t mean to bump in you sweetie!¡±, His green mustache curled as if it was alife. This wasn¡¯t a large cities nightlife¡. It was a gods nightlife! ¡°N-no problem¡¡±, she managed to shudder. She seemed to be hypnotized by the moving mustache. The strange tree-man seemed relieved. ¡°Thank goodness.¡±, then he noticed Ji. ¡°Oh, if this isn¡¯t my old boy Ji. Long time no see! So, you got that little lad out of the way before it started, hm? You haven¡¯t changed at all!¡±, he was very excited to meet Ji, his mustache seemed to react to his excitement as it curled even more than before. Ji felt slightly awkward. ¡°Long time no see, Cer¡.¡±, he stopped. ¡°Wait a second, I will talk with you after I arranged something for this little girl.¡±, he patted Saji¡¯s head. As he was almost one head larger then her it was truly quite the cute sight. ¡°Oh my!¡±, the tree-person called Cer exclaimed, a somewhat unappropriated smile on his face. ¡°I still remember that time when you got a fairy queen to-¡° ¡°I WOULD¡ rather not talk about that now¡¡±, Ji interrupted him, his eyes twitching a little. He turned to Saji. ¡°Saji, could you please go to this pub over there and tell the guy at the counter that you are with me? He will know what to do.¡±, he pointed to a small building a few meters away from them. A bright sign was attached right above the entrance. ¡®A Dragons Dream¡¯ It was obviously one of ¡®these¡¯ pubs¡ Saji hesitated for a moment. She looked over to Ji, trying to read something out of his expression. He wasclearly somewhat awkward and distressed. She didn¡¯t know if it was because of the person called Cer or because of something else, but it was obvious that he didn¡¯t want her to know about this. She finally nodded. She turned around and went towards the pub. It was located within a sleek four-story building, there were no windows on the ground level, only a single black door with the name of the pub written in golden letters onto it. On the next story she could see two balconies, each with a table and two chairs on it. Both had strange looking people drinking and talking on them. She really wasn¡¯t sure if it was a good idea to go into this pub. But to be realistic she had no real choice. She was somewhere in a place with strange gods and tree-people who called her sweetie. The only person she knew was a crazy guy who claimed to be a god and whom she knew from the internet. Her situation was absurd. In the end she decided to push the door and entered the building. ¡ Ji watched her entering the building and turned back to Cer. ¡°...How... bad is it?¡±, his expression was serious. Cer grinned and his eyes flashed in a strange light. ¡°Oh, it¡¯s hell on earth, literally.¡± A pub of gods Saji entered the pub and the first thing that caught her eye was the small stage which was located on the backside of the room. Most of the pub was shrouded in twilight, only the stage was brightly lit and naturally formed the center of attention. ''Sexual Content Start'' On the stage multiple young women moved around in enticing motions, some dancing others presenting their beautiful bodies to the audience. Some of the women were naked, others barely covered the most important placed with a translucent cloth. All in all, it was an extremely alluring scene. ''Sexual Content End'' Saji¡¯s face instantly turned red and she hurriedly looked away. A few customers who had turned around to see who had entered the pub laughed at her embarrassment. ¡°Little girl don¡¯t be embarrassed, come over to this uncle and strip for me!¡±, one of them, a burly man with green scales covering large portions of his face said this with a disgusting grin. Laughter filled the room. Saji only became redder and turned around to ignore them. She spotted the counter in another part of the pub and immediately moved towards it. She had to bypass a few tables with customers sitting around them. All of them had at least one striking characteristic that differentiated them from humans. Some had tusks growing out their mouths, other has spines instead of hair, some didn¡¯t even look like humans and remembered her of the demons in old folklore. Curious glances and grins came from all directions. Suddenly someone grabbed her wrist. ¡°Human girl, I really want you to strip for me!¡±, it was the burly man from before. Saji tried to pull her hand away, but the man¡¯s grip was to strong. ¡°Sir, I¡¯m sorry but I¡¯m really not that type t-¡°, she tried to say, suddenly a black and white flash appeared on both her sides and bolted towards the burly man. Before he could react, they slammed into him. The air seemed to explode as the man was forced to let go of Saji¡¯s hand. He crashed into a nearby table. Saji was completely unaffected and remained at the same spot. The two flashes flew back to Saji and took the form of a black and white koi as they once again circled her. The pub had become silent. The burly man slowly rose up from the pile of splintered wood and moaned in pain. ¡°Fuck!¡±, he said. He looked over to Saji and saw the two koi circling around her. ¡°So, you are a god¡¯s plaything hm?¡±, he seemed angry but there was also fear hidden within his small eyes. He spat on the ground. ¡°Hope he will break and have fun defiling your little body!¡±, the man hatefully looked at her. Then he turned around and walked towards the exit of the pub. Suddenly the air froze.Unauthorized usage: this tale is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. A terrifying presence exploded from the counter of the pub and instantly engulfed the entirety of the pub. Saji felt as if she would drown in this endless see of frigidness. ¡°Dear customer, you still need to pay for the damage.¡±, a friendly voice came from the counter. The burly man froze where he was standing. His body began to tremble as his small eyes widened to an almost unbelievable extent. There was no way to describe the shier fear he was feeling at this moment. ¡°I-I¡¯am sorry!!!¡±, he reached into a pocked on his rugged leather jacked and pulled out a poach. Still trembling he threw it towards the counter. The poach made a beautiful arc in the air and landed in a person¡¯s hand. The pressure vanished as suddenly as it had appeared. ¡°Thank you for your patronage. We hope you will visit us again.¡±, the friendly voice once again rung out. But the man had already bolted out of the pub. Saji was stunned and couldn¡¯t quite understand what had just happened. While she was still staring at the spot where the burly man had stood just a moment ago, she suddenly felt something resting on her shoulder. She flinched back and turned around. A friendly smiling asian-looking man was looking at her, his right hand suspended in the air. ¡°Oh sorry, did I startle you?¡±, it was the same friendly voice which had terrified the burly man. He smiled friendly. Saji became nervous. If that burly man had been afraid of this person, then she should be even more careful around him. ¡°Can I help you?¡±, she asked nervously while taking another step back. The man smiled. ¡°No need to be aflaid. I¡¯m a fliend of Ji. You can call me Tian!¡± ¡. At the same time Ji and Cer had changed locations and now sat in another bar only a few houses from the one Saji had entered. It was smiliar the ¡°Dragons Dream¡±, both in it¡¯s looks as well as in the kind of service it provided. The pubs name was ¡°Fairy Heaven¡± and just as the name suggested there were tens of small fairies who served drinks and entertained the customers with other services. Of course, they too wore little to no clothing while doing so. These fairies were about 30 centimeters tall, had beautiful slender bodies and very charming faces. In terms of curves they had little to show off, but what they had was very appealing to the eye. ''Sexual Content Start'' Ji placed his drink onto the fairy who arced her body in the form of a bridge. Her feet and hands were placed onto the table while her bare stomach and breast served as surface on which the drink was placed upon. ''Sexual Content End'' ¡°So they broke the seal¡ I already wondered why this bastard have been so aggressive lately.¡±, Ji shook his head gravely. ¡°You have been missing around this parts for to long. Things have changed in the last few years. Some of the stronger gods gathered a bunch of spirits and demi gods and started a full-blown offense against the heaven¡¯s forces. A few moths back they had a major victory and now these small fries have decided to toy around with the humans.¡±, Cer laid back onto his chair. ¡°These kids don¡¯t realize what is going to happen once these old bastards decide to move. There is a god damn reason why we haven¡¯t already wiped them out long ago!¡± Ji took another sip of his drink. ¡°It is foolish to attack humans just because they want to anger the heaven.¡± Cer laughed. ¡°This is so typical for you. Always worrying for the mortals. Well I guess it¡¯s kind of your job¡¡±, he shrugged. ¡°Either way it¡¯s not like humanity is going to be wiped out. Some lower gods decided to protect them, and a good part of the spirits just enjoys playing around with them without killing them. They will survive and adapt, just as they did in the old times.¡± Ji nodded. ¡°The humans will survive, but they will lose a lot.¡± ¡°That¡¯s not for us gods to worry about, is it?¡±, Cer looked over to the stage of the pub. An unusually large fairy was dancing wearing a completely see-through gown. Cer sighed, but his eyes were firmly glued to her figure. ¡°Times really have changed, who could have imagined that fairy queens would become mere showgirls back then?¡± Ji shrugged his shoulders. ¡°You could buy her and set her free if you wanted to.¡± ¡°Well yeah, I could¡.¡±, Cer slowly said. Suddenly he smiled. ¡°By the way-¡° ¡°NO, She is NOT my plaything.¡±, Ji said before Cer could complete his sentence. Cer¡¯s eyebrows lifted up and his eyes questioning. ¡°She IS your type so where is the problem?¡± ¡°I won¡¯t touch her. That¡¯s all you need to know.¡±, Ji clearly didn¡¯t want to continue this topic. He stood up from his chair and placed his empty glass onto the fairy. ¡°I will go and make sure Saji found Tian without problems. You go and prepare for what we will do soon.¡±, he didn¡¯t wait for Cer¡¯s reply and took a step towards the exit. His body blurred, and he disappeared. Cer was left alone with his drink. He shot a glance at the fairy queen on the stage and tilted his head. ¡°I will buy her.¡± He went to find the owner of the pub. So... What now? Ji appeared right outside the door to ¡®Dragon¡¯s Dream¡¯. Without stopping to look around he pushed the door open and entered the pub. Laughter and the sound of multiple ongoing conversations swapped over to him. ¡°Tian, ya old turtle get ya ass here!¡± The noise instantly died down. Tens of eyes focused on Ji as he stood in the frame of the door. Ji stood confident as if it was his own backyard he was standing in. ¡°You little¡.¡±, an angry voice came from the back of the pub. Something flashed towards the entrance and materialized right in front of Ji. Tian reached out with his hand and flicked Ji¡¯s forehead. ¡°Stop doing these stupid entrances each and every time you come here!¡±, Tian appeared to be angry, but secretly he had a small grin on his lips. ¡°Long time no see.¡±, Ji stretched out his hand. ¡°Yeah¡¡±, Tian gripped his hand and they made a handshake. ¡°It¡¯s truly been too long¡¡± For a moment both stood there smiling at each other faces, then Ji turned around and began to search for something. ¡°She is in the employee-only part. I couldn¡¯t leave her here.¡±, Tian was already walking towards the counter, ?Come on, I have other things to do today!¡± Ji took a short look around and finally moved towards Tian who was already waiting at the counter. The asian man moved behind the counter and walked in front of the shelf with the alcoholic brewages on it. He pulled at one specific bottle and suddenly the shelf moved to make place for a door. ¡°Here you go!¡±, He made a welcoming gesture towards Ji. ¡°You really like your little tricks don¡¯t you?¡±, Ji shook his head and walked opened the door. A long dark corridor waited on the other side. He entered it with quick stepps. Tian shrugged as he looked after Ji as he disappeared in the darkness of the corridor. ¡°It¡¯s fun so I do it.¡± He closed the door and took a step backwards. The door slowly faded away leaving only the bare wall. The shelve slowly moved back to it¡¯s original position. Tian turned around. ¡°Ladies and gentlemen¡ I have to ask you to leave right now. Due to unforeseen events I have to close the pub earlier than usual.¡±Support the author by searching for the original publication of this novel. ¡. Saji sat on a bride couch in a small room with yellowish walls. It was used as a break room for the showgirls and right now aside from Saji there were three other girls within the room. As soon as Saji had sat down on the couch all three had surrounded her in their curiousity. One sat on the right of Saji, the other on the left. The last one had crouched down in front of her. ¡°So, you live in a real apartment house?¡±, the girl on the right of Saji asked. She was about 1.50-meter-tall and had shoulder long red hair. A few red scales were scattered around her eyes and two beautiful horns grew from her head. As far as Saji had understood she was a female dragon who had abandoned her original form. ¡°Yeah I do.¡±, Saji readily answered all of their questions. She found it somewhat funny how they were excited about these ¡®normal human things¡¯. ¡°So¡ you and that friend of Tian¡. Are you¡¡°, the girl to Saji¡¯s left, a dryad with cherry blossoms growing in her hair, asked in a more quiet voice. ¡°No¡¡±, Saji felt awkward. Anyone she met here thought Ji kept her around to use her to relieve his desires, but in truth she personally only knew him for a few hours. She honestly had no idea why he was even taking her with him. ¡°He¡ kind of just keeps me around?¡±, this was the best she could answer. Suddenly the door to the room opened and a Ji¡¯s head appeared from the gap. ¡°So here you are.¡±, a smile appeared at his face and he fully entered the room. Inside the room he shot a short glance to the three girls surrounding Saji. ¡°Tian sure has a great collection¡¡±, he murmured, then he looked back to Saji. ¡°We have to go somewhere.¡±, he once again looked to the three girls. ¡°Sorry ladies, but I have to take her with me.¡±, he took a step forward and appeared in front of Saji. ¡°Come on.¡±, he stretched out his hand. Saji wasn¡¯t even surprised anymore. She looked towards the three girls and said a quick goodbye, then she took his hand. The moment she touched it they both disappeared. They reappeared in an unfamiliar forest. Saji let go of Ji¡¯s hand and walked a few steps. ¡°Where are we?¡±, after looking around for a bit she looked back to Ji. She was surprised to see a very serious look in his eyes. ¡°What going on?¡±, she was alarmed. Ji spoke slowly and his voice was unusually calm. ¡°I¡¯m sorry I didn¡¯t tell you earlier¡. I felt you should first see what ¡®our¡¯ world is like before I tell you about it.¡± Saji froze. Her mind furiously thought just what might happen now. Would he suddenly eat her? Would he tell her that he liked to play this game before killing his victims? Would he strip her naked and defile her body? She slowly backed away from Ji. ¡°7 billion humans have died up to this moment.¡±, Ji looked directly into his eyes as he said this. ¡ ¡°Huh.¡±, Saji stared at him. Confusion written all over her face. ¡°A few moments after I took you away from your house, massive amounts of spirits and lower gods started to rampage in human cities all across the globe. By now human civilization is mostly destroyed, those who survive only do so because they are protected by other gods¡ Humanity will survive, but they will only be numbered in the millions. I¡¯m sorry I did not tell you earlier.¡± Saji stared, still confused. ¡°Your parents as well as most of your friends have died. Honestly, I could have saved them, but I did not. I however saved you. I will be honest to you. Whatever you do is up to you. You can stay with me, I can bring you to place protected by a god or I can leave you here, it¡¯s your decision. So¡ what now?¡± The lady of the forest ?Have you calmed down?¡°, Ji stood next to Saji and offered her a handkerchief. She accepted it and used it to wipe off the remaining tear stains. Her face was flushed and her eyes red, but at least she had stopped crying. ¡°Yes.¡±, she stared at the ground. Ji sighed. He could understand her reaction. If anything, he would have been surprised if she reacted otherwise. Still, things couldn¡¯t remain like this. ¡°You still have to decide. What do you want to do?¡± Saji raised her head and looked right into Ji¡¯s eyes. Her face was a miserable sight, her hair was a mess, but there was an innate beauty to it. She reached out with her hand and gripped to Ji¡¯s sleeve. ¡°Just get me away from here.¡± Ji nodded. ¡°Take my hand.¡±, he reached out with his left hand. She took it. ¡ Rey stared into the cloud of dust that was coving the street in front him. It had been like this for two days already. Ever since the city had been attacked by an army of intelligent monkeys the city had been trapped within a thick cloud of dust. The trillions of miniature particles made it impossible to look further then just one or two dozen meters, yet Rey continued to stare into the distance. He was located on the roof of a fairly undamaged building. If one took a look around one would notice that there seemed to be a line dividing the undamaged buildings and the ruins that had once been a bustling town. If you looked from further above, you would notice that there was a circle with a diameter of a few hundred meters consisting of undamaged houses. It was an island surrounded by a vast sea of destruction. Rey¡¯s hiding spot was located right on the border between the undamaged part and the ruins on the other side. If one looked closely only a few meters away there were the blurry bodies of monkeys hiding between the ruble. They clearly saw Rey, but for some reason they didn¡¯t dare to move towards the undamaged building. Rey also knew they were there, but he did not worry. There was no way they would attack him as long as he stayed inside the area of undamaged houses. He was waiting here to see whether there were other survivors making their way here. Honestly his hopes were low. Those who managed to survive would mostly stay away from the cities in fear of encountering more ravaging monsters. The few who still dared to venture into towns like theirs mostly couldn¡¯t make it trough the army of monkeys surrounding them. But the hope was still there, and he had nothing better to do. Suddenly he saw two black shadows walking towards them. The dust made it impossible to discern their features, but he could tell that they were human. One was rather tall, at about 1.9 meter, the other was smaller, only 1.6 to 1.7 meter tall. Rey shot a glance at the hiding spot of the monkeys. They had already spotted them. He hurried to stand up and yelled with all his might ¡°Be careful the monkeys hide within the ruins. Run here they can¡¯t come here!¡±, his voice traveled through the area and echoed from the few walls that were still standing.Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. The two figures didn¡¯t react. They still continued to slowly walk into his direction. Rey became nervous. ¡°Hey, hurry up!¡± It was to late, monkeys suddenly flooded out from beneath the rubble and went to attack the pair from all sides. They were only about 1 meter tall and had beautiful grey fur, but there were hundreds of them flocking as they leaped towards the two humans. They seemed small and weak, but Rey knew that one of these monkeys could easily kill a grown woman. Despite their small size they were astonishingly strong and coupled with their incredible number even an armed force would be wiped by this horde of monkeys. ¡°Fuck off!¡±, the taller of the two figures suddenly stamped at the ground, kicking up a good amount of dust. It merged with the already floating dust of the air and for a moment nothing happened. The monkeys attacked, pouncing towards the two humans. But before they could even come close to either of them, the dust around them suddenly contracted into an indefinite number of small needle-like blades. These blades flung out and turned every monkey in the vicinity into bloody pulps of mangled flesh. The couple continued to walk as if nothing had happened. Suddenly the tall human looked at him, his eyes seemed to meet those of Rey. Rey¡¯s eyes widened, and he blinked once. The two had disappeared leaving only the piles of bloody flesh on the street. He felt a chill. ¡°You boy.¡±, suddenly a voice came from behind him. Rey hurried to turn around and saw the tall human behind him. He was a young man with brown hair and grey eyes. Next to him stood an about 16 years old girl. ¡°Bring me to your guardian god.¡±, the man said. Rey stared at him. ¡°You are a god?¡±, he seemed confused. The man rolled his eyes. ¡°Yes, my name is Ji and I¡¯m a god. This girl-¡±, he pointed at the girl next to him, ¡°Is Saji, yesterday her family was brutally murdered by some storm god. I HAVE NO TIME to waste talking to you, so PLEASE bring me to your guardian god!¡± Rey blinked once more, his brain trying to comprehend the current situation. In the end he simply said ¡°Yes¡± and stood up. ¡°Follow me.¡±, he walked towards the stairs. Ji once again rolled his eyes. ¡°Wait and come here.¡± Rey stopped, even more confused than before, but he went back to Ji. ¡°Take my hand and think about the location that god is at. I will bring us there.¡±, Ji reached out his hand. Rey¡¯s expression was still weird, and his mind was clouded in confused as to what was happening right now, but he did what Ji wanted from him. He took his hand and thought about the forest that was located in the middle of the undamaged area. All three of them suddenly vanished from the roof of the building. ¡ ¡°I haven¡¯t felt this presence in quite a while¡±, a beautiful woman was resting with her back against the trunk of old tree. She had striking black hair pure white skin and beautiful long eyelashes. In short, she was an absolute beauty coming straight out of a fairy tale. The tree she was laying against was old, its bark wrinkled and its roots wider then a human torso. Despite its age the foliage was fresh and emerald green, vibrant with life. ¡°Lady Kelin?¡±, a young girl standing a few meters away asked confused. The woman smiled. ¡°Jea, go and tell the others to met up here, we will have to greet an important visitor.¡± The girl was still confused, but she nodded and quickly disappeared in the bushes of the surrounding forest. The woman looked thoughtful for a moment. ¡°I should change clothes.¡±, she grinned. ¡°Those male gods never change, show them your skin and they will favor you¡± Sexual Content Begin She rose up from the ground and slowly took of her long white dress. Finally, she pulled out new clothing out of the air. It consisted out of two pieces, a short translucent scarf and a similar translucent pair of shorts. She dressed the shorts and took the scarf. She completely unfolded the scarf and then pulled it over her shoulders. The two ends she took and tied into a knot between her two well developed breast. The fabric barely covered them and if she lifted her arms to high her breast would be completely exposed. Even so as the fabric was completely translucent you could still see every detail of her body. Sexual Content End ¡°Lady Kelin?!¡±, Jea came back with some other people and was shocked to see Kelin in this very lewd attire. The men amongst them couldn¡¯t help but stare a bit before averting their gazes in shame. Kelin smiled gently ¡°As I said a very important guest is about to arrive.¡± ¡°After all this time your welcomes are still the best.¡±, suddenly someone said. Without anyone noticing three figures had arrived at the clearing. It was Ji, Saji and Rey. Rey was still not quite sure what had happened, while Saji was silently observing the surroundings. Ji had a brought smile as he looked at Kelin. His eyes briefly swept across her body. ¡°You old grandma still use your own body for greetings hm?¡± Kelin didn¡¯t seem offended. ¡°How can I not when the guest is Ji, the most powerful amongst the human gods?¡± A heaven above the sky (1) Saji¡¯s expression took a turn. She turned her head to look at Ji¡¯s face. Shock and confusion filled her mind as well as a somewhat bitter feeling she couldn¡¯t pinpoint. Ji continued to smile. ¡°I shouldn¡¯t argue with Kelin, the queen of the forest gods, should I?¡± Her smile broadened. ¡°I will provide you two with a place to rest and this evening we will host a feast in your honor! Jea?¡±, she looked over to Jea. ¡°Please bring those two to the guest building.¡± Jea was still shocked by Kelin¡¯s attire and stared for a while before reacting. She blinked once. ¡°Y-yes of course!¡±, she hurriedly nodded. ¡°Please follow me!¡±, she said to Ji and Saji. Ji shook his head. ¡°We appreciate your hospitality, but if possible, I would like to postpone the feast until tomorrow evening. We two -,¡±, he looked Saji, ¡°Still have some things to take care of.¡± Kelin made a gentle nod. ¡°So, it be then!¡± Ji and Saji went to follow Jea, leaving behind a very disoriented Rey. Jea led them to a building close to the forest, it was fairly large and fully equipped to house people. She led them inside, showed them around and then politely excused herself. After this Ji and Saji were left alone in the house. Ji looked at Saji. ¡°We will talk this evening.¡±, his expression was solemn. Saji simply nodded. Evening came earlier then she expected. A few hours later she heard music coming from the roof of the building. She looked out of the window of her room and saw that it had already become dark outside. A few lights burned in the windows of the surrounding windows and she could see flickering lights wandering through the nearby woods. It was a mysterious town that could easily stem from some sort of fairy tale. A city with a magical forest in its center. A powerful goddess that protected the towns citizens from the evil powers lurking outside. Even though Saji had already seen nude female dragons stripping for lewd gods and a strange young man being able to teleport to random places, this fantasy town still felt exciting and new to her. She sighed. It felt like only a few hours ago she had still been a girl living a fairly normal life, but now her family was dead, 7 billion people were dead, and she was travelling around with a god who supposedly once was a human. There was no explanation as to why he had saved her, why he didn¡¯t save her family and friends. She didn¡¯t know the reason for this mass genocide nor did she know what role Ji played in it. Right now, she knew almost nothing, and it felt sickening. She didn¡¯t know what to do. Her lips pressed against each other. Finally, she stood up from the bed and exited her room. It took her a few seconds to orientate herself in this new environment and a few minutes to find the stairs leading to the roof. Then finally she stood in front of the door that led to the rooftop. It was painted in a dark brownish green color and looked rather dirty. From the other side she could hear the music playing. It sounded like old jazz from the 80ties played on a modern bluetooth loud speaker. Saji closed her eyes and reach out to grip the doorknob. She tensed up and turned it. One push and the door swung open. In front of her was a clear night sky, thousands of stars one wouldn¡¯t normally see because of the light pollution caused by cities glittered on the black canvas that was the sky. A few gentle lights burned in the nearby houses and she could see small parades floating fires dancing through the forest. If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. A figure sat on a bench right next to the edge of the roof, a small blue loud speaker next to him. ¡°Those fires are found in almost every mythology in human cultures.¡±, Ji¡¯s voice was calm and smoothing just as the jazz playing in the background. ¡°They are fire spirits enjoying their long-missed freedom.¡±, he turned his head and Saji could see the gentle smile on his lips. For some time neither of them said anything. ¡°¡you like jazz?¡±, she asked. Ji laughed. ¡°It¡¯s hilarious isn¡¯t it? A millennia old god enjoys a music style from the 19. hundreds¡ but yes I love jazz.¡±, he looked back to the beautiful night sky. ¡°But let¡¯s get to the point. You want to know some things and I have every intention to answer the question that trouble you.¡±, he made a pause. ¡°I will have to start with something that happened about a dozen millennia ago. Back then humanity was nothing but an insignificant newcomer amongst the species. We were weak, primitive and had a tendency to harm ourselves. Compared to the vast number of different fairies, spirits and elven we were nothing but a bunch of weaklings struggling for survival. We, the few gods humanity had, constantly fought to improve humanities situation. We worked for hundreds of millennia. Some perished, others became famous amongst the other gods. One by one we overcame powerful races and increased our power. Through constant struggle hundreds of gods were born during this era. Most of them died while sacrificing themselves for the good of humanity, but their sacrifice led to many more gods, to a more powerful foundation for our race. After multiple ten thousand years of struggle humanity had become a powerful faction amongst the races. Hundreds of gods protected our kin and helped developing our culture and civilization. No one dared to openly attack us anymore. We were so powerful that even all the other gods and races combined would not be able to suppress us. Yet, our normal kinsmen were still far weaker than the ones of the other races. No matter what we did, no matter how powerful us gods were, we could not protect every single one of us. The human gods were the strongest, but the human race was still the weakest. The path of Immortals was born during this time, the Magi followed them. They were two paths that could strengthen an ordinary human and make him as powerful as the other races or even as powerful as an god! Yet those who could become immortals or magi were still only few and many died as step stones for the few that achieved power and immortality.¡±, Ji took a deep breath. ¡°Unfortunately, the hundreds of thousands of years that we toiled had wrapped our world view. So many had sacrificed everything for humanity and many had become overprotective of humanity. In their eyes humanity was the only thing that was important, the only thing they had to consider. This was when a part of the human gods decided to suppress the other races and ban them from the mortal world. They wanted to eliminate any danger that might harm humanity. The majority of human gods adapted their stance and came to name themselves ¡®heaven¡¯. They wanted to be a heaven above the sky, the ultimate protection for humanity that would ensure the flourishing of our kin. Frankly spoken they were mad fanatics that had lost all reason through the passing of time. They couldn¡¯t see that they would have to harm all other races to do what they desired, and they couldn¡¯t realize that they would only harm humanity in the end. The other part of the human gods, who for whatever reason did not want to support this madness, sided with the other gods who wouldn¡¯t allow something like this to happen. In their overprotectiveness, the heaven wanted to ban all gods and every race except for the humans from openly appearing on the planet. It was a mad plan, unreasonable and sickening. Naturally it came to war. I lead the human gods who could not accept the unreasonable stance of those lunatics and fought against the heaven. Hundreds of gods died on both sides. Blood rained from the sky and tainted the world. The immortals and magi were completely wiped out and their teachings and doctrines were destroyed. Every single bloodline was severed down to the last toddler. It was bloody and dirty! The fight devastated vast parts of the earth and killed many innocent beings, many races were completely wiped out, others had only few remaining kinsmen scattered in hidden places all across the world We gods lost our freedom, millions of beings lost their lives and billions could never return to the place of their origin. In exchange humanity became the dominating species on the planet. All of this happened for the wellbeing of humanity. This is the reason why I cannot stop those lesser gods from killing. If I protect everyone they will destroy what is remaining of the human faction. But to tell the truth I do not want to protect every human. We are too many and we need to make space for those other races. I will preserve humanity, but in order to do that I will first have to let most of them die.¡± A heaven above the sky (2) After Ji stopped speaking it became quiet for some time. Saji¡¯s expression was blank. Before it had been shocked and shaken, but now after she had heard everything Ji had to say her expression was completely blank. She wondered and thought about the person that sat in front of her. A person older then the country she was born in, older then the pyramids, older then anything the knew. She watched him and wondered just how complex such a being was after all those millennia. Finally, she asked the question that burned inside her: ¡°Then why did you safe me? And after you saved me, why didn¡¯t you safe my parents as well? For you it shouldn¡¯t make any difference if you save one human or if you save three of them!¡± ¡°I saved you because I had been chatting with you before and you were the first person I had really interacted with in almost a century.¡±, his tone was flat. ¡°The answer is just this simple, I knew you and I like you, so I saved you. One person more or less is insignificant at this stage. As for your parents¡ This will sound cruel, but I did not think about that.¡±, Ji said this as a matter of fact. Saji stared at him, his words echoing within her mind. He was indifferent. She noticed it. Ji was completely indifferent to those billions of lives. Her parents? He simply did not think about saving them when he saved her. It was not any malicious thought, no bad intention, he simply forgot! Billions were going to die and even if Ji couldn¡¯t save every single one of them, he could save millions if he wanted to! But he did not because in his eyes this had to happen. It wasn¡¯t his fault that this happened, but he could have prevented a part of it but did not. Somehow in this moment this was even more scary then being at fault. ¡°You think I am a monster, a bad person that let billions die because of his own interests.¡±, Ji knew what she thought. ¡°You are right, I am no good person. I am a god. I do whatever I think is the right choice. I take every fault at myself, because it was my decision that led to this outcome. Yet if you ask me if I feel guilty I have to say no. I feel sorry, terribly sorry for the people that had to die. They can blame me, they can blame the heaven, or they can blame their bad luck. In the end they died because it was unavoidable.¡±, from beginning to the end he never once changed expressions. He was calm. Disgustingly so. Saji still looked at him, many difficult emotions raging within her. Disappointment, fear, disgust, uneasiness and blame flashed through her eyes, clearly visible for Ji. He was cold. So cold that it felt hard for her to find anything good at this person in front of her. With every moment she thought about it she became more upset. ¡°Why do you have the right to decide this?¡±, her voice trembled. ¡°Why can YOU decided who has to die and who not? HOW is this FAIR?!?¡±, her whole body shock in rage.Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. Ji¡¯s face began to twitch. ¡°I decided because I was the only one who could decide. I decided because if I did not decide no one would. Fair? There is no fairness unless the stronger party decides to be fair. I am the weaker so what can I do? Tell me, should I have gone and confronted the other gods. Should I have fought them, died and brought an end to everyone that believed and followed me? Humanity would be finished, killed and eaten. Those bastards who started all this, the so called heaven, they think they can rebuild humanity with their seeds, yet in their madness they do not realize that they become weaker while the other races become stronger! What am I supposed to do? Let everyone do what they want to? Save them and die? I have to protect humanity, but how can I protect them if they themselves do the best they can to self-destruct?!¡±, he exploded this time. His usually unbreakable calm fell apart at he became emotional. ¡°Fuck this, I am a god, but in the end, I am no saint. There is no one who can give a happy end to this story. You want a perfect person that can save everyone, you want me to feel guilty for what I decided, but ask yourself what would YOU do?! I did what I had to do. For all those who came before me and died for humanity and for all those who will come after me. I take the blame I take the fault, but I will not accept you questioning my reasons!¡±, his eyes were wide open, filled with rage as he stared down on Saji. At some point he had stood up and now he was like a towering giant glaring at her. Saji looked at him, but her gaze faltered. She had to lower her gaze. He was right. He had to decide. Her rage gradually subsided. He was right with what he did, and she knew it. There was no other way and if one looked at it objectively it had come as it had to. In truth she had been angry not because of the decision Ji had made, but his seeming indifference towards it. But he was not indifferent. ¡°I¡¯m sorry.¡±, she muttered. He looked over to her, slowly regaining his composure. ¡°Me too.¡± It was obvious what he was talking about. Saji hesitated for a moment, finally she said it. ¡°It is not my place to forgive you as there is nothing I can forgive you for. I can only say that I understand and that it is ok.¡± After a while Ji nodded. ¡°It is ok¡¡±, he stared of into the distance. ¡°It is ok.¡±, he resolved himself. He suddenly used his finger to cut off a few hairs on his head. They fell into his left hand, scattering on the white skin. He closed his hand. When he opened it again the hair had disappeared and instead a black symbol that looked as if it was made out of fabric laid inside his palm. He gave it Saji. ¡°This is my symbol, if you press it against your skin it will become a tattoo at that location. There is almost no god who would dare to touch you when they see this symbol.¡± Saji looked at the black symbol inside her hand. It was the outlines of a tree growing on a flat boulder. The branches of the tree were very detailed she could see every single leave of the foliage and the deep wrinkles of the bark. ¡°Take your time to decide where you want to place it on. Once you have used it no one, not even me can remove it again!¡±, Ji warned her. ¡°Thank you. I¡ appreciate it.¡±, she said. Ji nodded. Then he changed the topic. ¡°I have already summoned the members of my faction. After we lost against the heaven the remaining human gods had to scatter and lay low, so we hadn¡¯t had contact in a long time. It will take some time to rebuild our forces.¡± ¡°So, we will stay here?¡±, she asked. ¡°Well, lets say most of the time.¡±, he grinned and took her hand. Saji couldn¡¯t react in time and both disappeared from the roof of their house. They reappeared at the front door. Ji glanced at Saji. ¡°I¡¯m still a god you know? Where ever I want to go, I just go there!¡±, they disappeared once again and appeared further in the forest. How to live in a world of gods Saji opened her eyes and looked at the white ceiling above her. Her mind was a mess, thoughts appeared and disappeared, emotions exploded and faded and questions turned up only to become insignificant. Her live had become a mess so it wasn¡¯t surprising that her mind was the same way. She took her time to calm her mind and organize her thoughts. This was how it was. Things had happened. Shit had happened. And what happened has already happened. She closed her eyes. There was no need to cry over spilled beans. It wouldn¡¯t change anything. She rose up from her bed and looked around. It was the room she had chosen as her own. Through the window she could see the lush forest right in front of the house. Rays of sunlight shone through the thick foliage and into her room. With difficulties she convinced her own body to get out of the bed and walk towards the mirror that was attached to the large wardrobe on the wall. She looked at herself in the mirror and realized that her clothes were a complete mess. Her top was full of stains, her pants was ripped at multiple places. She took a look around the room. There wasn¡¯t really something she could wear instead. ¡°Look into the wardrobe!¡±, suddenly a female voice came from behind her. Kelin stood behind her, a friendly smile on her lips. This time she wore more proper clothing in form of a short white dress with brown embroideries. Saji wasn¡¯t even surprised to see her appearing right behind her. She turned around and made a small bow. ¡°Lady Kelin, my name is Saji. It¡¯s an honor to be in your presence.¡±, she was very polite after all the other party was a goddess. Kelin shook her head, ¡°You don¡¯t have to be polite! After all you belong to Ji.¡±, she nodded towards the wardrobe. ¡°Look inside!¡± Saji hesitated. She vividly remembered the kind of clothing Kelin had worn the day before. But it would be rude to not open it and she really needed new clothes. She opened the wardrobe and looked inside. Inside was a single knitted sweater. It was a light grey and certainly looked good, but it was only a sweater without any type of pants or skirt. Saji turned towards Kelin with a questioning look in her eyes. Kelin explained. ¡°Do you know why I humiliated myself and wore that kind of embarrassing clothing to welcome that old grandpa Ji?¡±, she suddenly grinned. ¡°You didn¡¯t think this was my hobby, did you?¡± Saji felt awkward and didn¡¯t know how to react. Kelin laughed at her reaction. ¡°Let me tell you, most of the weaker goddesses spend their entire time either naked or wearing this type of clothing and believe me it¡¯s certainly not because they like it.¡±, Kelin shook her head. ¡°It¡¯s because this is how a female lives in the world of gods. There is always someone stronger then you, there is a 50 percent chance it is a male. Wearing nothing does not only please him, it also makes it more probable that he won¡¯t go and kill you. Sure, it is humiliating, but in case you need to survive you can just make yourself a toy for him.If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. In our world those who are strong rule, while those who are weak have to find ways to survive. If you are a strong goddess you can live without this humiliation, but if you are weak you should do everything to get an advantage.¡±, she shrugged her shoulders. ¡°I am one of the stronger goddesses, but compared to Ji I¡¯m just second class. So yeah, I wore those humiliating clothes to show my appreciation. Sure, it¡¯s messed up, but this is the way our world works. You now live in this world and even if you have Ji¡¯s protection it would be better if you know your way in this world. Gods are lewd beings that love to enjoy themselves, so you need to learn how to entertain them without being nude the whole time.¡±, she looked at Saji waiting for her reaction. Saji frowned as she realized what Kelin was really talking about. Her face turned red. ¡°So, you want to show me how to¡¡±, her voice sounded unusually high. Kelin found her reaction adorable. ¡°Yes darling, I will show you how to properly dress in our world. So, get naked and try on that sweater!¡± ¡ Rey felt like he had smoked to much weed and was in the midst of an especially strange hallucination. Walking in front of him was Ji who was whistling some unknown melodies. Around him were hordes of monkeys fearlessly rushing towards them. Beneath his shoes were the bloody remains of those who had already reached them. Blood rained all around them without touching either of them and at the same time more and more monkeys were torn to shreds by an invisible sphere around them. As soon as the monkeys came close they were just turned into a bloody soup. He could hear their scream as they were turned into bloody gore and the sound of this gore falling to the ground. His nose had already become numb to the shockingly strong smell of blood and after the first three times he did not feel the need to vomit anymore. ¡°Couldn¡¯t we just teleport to that monkey god without doing this?¡±, he asked Ji, clear disgust in his voice. ¡°I need to punish him, so he has to get a fright first. If I just appear there and make him feel some pain, it wouldn¡¯t be clear enough that he has done something really dump.¡±, Ji¡¯s response came but it did not make Rey feel any better. ¡°Why do I even have to come with you? I don¡¯t really see any use for me?¡±, Rey tried to give Ji a reason to bring him back to the town. But his hoped were brutally destroyed. ¡°I need someone to eat his ¡®manhood¡¯. There is nothing more humiliating for this kind of gods then to get their most precious body part eaten by an mortal.¡±, Ji grinned devilishly. Rey turned pale and vomited again. Ji laughed loudly. ¡°Oh, trust me it¡¯s delicious!¡± Slowly the hordes of monkeys thinned out and there was less and less gore to walk upon. At the same time, they heard a furious yell. It was accompanied by massive booms and a terrifying presence that came towards them. ¡°Here he comes!¡±, Ji said relaxed, his smile devilish and bloodthirsty. Rey on the other hand had trouble refraining from vomiting. A small white body suddenly shot out and flashed towards them ¡°YOU WENT TO FAR!¡±, the livid voice shouted as a monkey pounced towards Ji and Rey. ¡°And you are still the same simpleton.¡±, Ji shook his hand and reached out with his hand. He pointed a finger at the incoming monkey. ¡°Sit.¡± A terrifying pressure suddenly exploded from Ji¡¯s body. Wind picked up and lifted his hair into the air. Stones were flung away, boulders cracked. Somehow Rey was not affected, but in turn the monkey was. It also exploded with power, pressure pushed against pressure and the terrifying wind turned into a storm that raged around them. It was truly a fight between deities! Heaven and earth shook, the earth cracked, and the clouds were pierced. Somehow Rey still wasn¡¯t harmed. It was obvious that Ji was stronger than the monkey. Slowly the monkey was pushed towards the ground. It struggled, veins popping all over it¡¯s tiny body. ¡°Fuck you Ji!¡±, Suddenly it shot forwards, swinging its fist towards Ji. Ji formed a fist and similarly struck out. A boom resounded in the area and the ground cracked open. ¡°GET DOWN!¡±, Ji suddenly cried out and stomped onto the ground. The cracks in the ground widened and within a moment a small canyon had formed. The monkey on the other hand seemed to have been hit by a truck. It fell to the ground, clearly in a miserable state. Its snow white fur was tainted rain and it¡¯s limps were strange dislocated. Ji walked towards it and stopped in front of it. He lifted his eyebrow. ¡°It¡¯s smaller than I thought¡¡± Rey vomited again. Ji laughed, somewhat apologetic. ¡°It was just a joke thought¡¡± The god Nagu Ji looked down onto the monkeys wrecked body. It was still alive but various different injuries covered its small body. Its right arm was broken and dislocated in an unnatural way, its two legs had large cuts to them, white bone was visible amongst the red flesh. The formerly snow white fur had become brown by the dried blood. The monkey was in a horrible condition. Nevertheless, it glared at Ji, its eyes full of fury and bloodlust. It wanted revenge. Revenge for the thousands of its kin that had been killed on Ji¡¯s way here, revenge for the humiliating defeat it was experiencing right now. Ji shook his head. ¡°You are still the same idiot as you have been four thousand years ago. I honestly can¡¯t imagine how a group with a member like you was able to lift the suppression of that fucking geezers.¡± The monkey laughed darkly. ¡°You human bastards just were too afraid to try! The heaven has become too lax, too weak. These lunatics forgot that the world isn¡¯t going to freeze in time just because they banned us from the open world. We just rallied a few lower gods and easily surprised the guards that were supposed to oversee us. They must be raging over the billions of humans we killed!¡±, he grinned devilishly. ¡°Of course, if those lowlifes that still serve you wouldn¡¯t be the spineless bugs they are we would have wiped out all of your kin.¡± Ji sighed as he looked at him with pitying eyes. ¡°And that is why I call you stupid Nagu¡¡±, he lifted his leg and stomped down onto Nagu¡¯s stomach. The monkey¡¯s eyes turned white and his face cramped up. Foam gathered at his mouth and he vomited black blood. For a few seconds his body violently cramped up, then it became limp. ¡°You always manage to enrage those you shouldn¡¯t.¡±, Ji lifted his foot and gave him another kick. It hit Nagu¡¯s body and flung it against a nearby boulder. Ji walked towards Nagu¡¯s bloodied body. ¡°I know you aren¡¯t dead yet so stop pretending.¡±, a third kick followed. Nagu groaned in pain and rolled away to escape the kick. His eyes turned normal and he stared at Ji. This time the fury was gone and replaced by a slight fear. ¡°You really would kill me?!¡±, he seemed surprised. ¡°You killed millions of my kin, wouldn¡¯t it be normal for me to just kick you until all what¡¯s left of your dogshit body is a dark stain on the ground?¡±, Ji asked a horrifying smile on his face. The monkey was silent for a moment. ¡°You killed almost all what was remaining of my kin. We are even.¡±, suddenly Nagu had become calm. Ji tilted his head. ¡°That¡¯s all of your tribe? I could have sworn there was a lot more of you when I last saw you.¡± ¡°99 percent of my tribe was killed while we battled the heaven to lift the suppression.¡±, there was a slight shadow of grief on Nagu¡¯s face. ¡°Now all that is left are a few dozen females and offspring. It will take at least a few thousand years to regain our former strength and that is if I can protect my race for this long. This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. I am the last god of my species. Once I¡¯m death we are as good as finished.¡± The smile on Ji¡¯s face disappeared and was replaced by a frown. ¡°It seems like I made a mistake.¡± Nagu chuckled. ¡°It seems we both did. The heaven is going to come and avenge the humans that died, at that time I will most likely die. Once I¡¯m dead my remaining kin will most likely also die. Well at least I felt a little bit of freedom before it all ends.¡±, there was a silver of regret hidden in his words. ¡°As for you¡ I guess you are gathering your forces?¡± ¡°This time I will kill every single one of them.¡±, Ji promised him. Nagu nodded slightly. ¡°We will see.¡±, he rose up from the ground. His body began to shine. The wounds that covered his body rapidly healed, his dislocated arm put itself back into place. The dried blood on his fur simply fell of as if it had never been there. A moment later the monkey looked completely healed, it¡¯s white fur shining brightly in the sunlight. Nagu gave a last look towards Ji. ¡°I take it that my debt is paid?¡± Ji nodded. Nagu closed its eyes and grinned. ¡°Then I hope I will never meet you bastard again!¡±, he suddenly turned into a white ball of light and flashed up into the sky. Ji watched as he disappeared amongst the clouds. He felt melancholic. This was the world of gods and spirits. The strong rule, the weak struggle for survival. If the strong fall they too had to struggle to escape death. Rey on the other side sat on a boulder and looked confused. The fight had awed him, especially as he realized that Ji had protected him the whole time. This only showed just how powerful Ji was compared to the monkey god. Rey was sure that if either of both gods chose to destroy a mountain there would only be a pile of dust when they were finished. Nevertheless, there was one thing he didn¡¯t understand. ¡°Why the fuck did I even have to come with him?¡±, he muttered under his breath. Ji still heard him and turned around. ¡°We still have work to do and I don¡¯t want to do it alone, so get off your ass and start gathering stones like this one.¡±, he pulled out a small round stone and showed it to Rey. ¡°I want to get the array going before noon!¡± ¡ In the town Saji and Kelin had spend three hours within Saji¡¯s room. Both felt exhausted. ¡°You really are a stubborn girl, do you know that?!¡±, Kelin frowned dissatisfied. She held a white bra in her hands. Saji on the other side looked even more tired, she covered her body with a small towel. ¡°NO ONE WOULD GO OUTSIDE ONLY WEARING A TOWEL!¡±, she couldn¡¯t help but shout at this point. ¡°You wouldn¡¯t wear the shawl, so I proposed this one, but you still don¡¯t like it! What do you want me to do? You need at least a dozen different outfits and until now we only have 11 that you accept!¡± ¡°ELEVEN ARE MORE THEN ENOUGH!¡±, Saji was really desperate. For three hours Kelin had proposed different outfits, each more unwearable then the former. Yet somehow, they managed to find eleven outfits that Saji could barely agree on. Furthermore, two of those could be worn in different variations, but the crazy goddess still wasn¡¯t satisfied and continued to press for more. Kelin looked at her and her eyes turned sharp. ¡°Fine.¡±, she crossed her arms. ¡°Fine?¡±, Saji couldn¡¯t quite believe it. ¡°Yes fine, but you have to wear the sweater without underwear!¡± Saji almost exploded, yet she forced herself to stay calm. At this point she was ready to do almost everything just to escape this scary woman. ¡°Fine¡¡±, she forced herself to say. Kelin suddenly smiled radiantly. It was obvious that this had been her goal from the very beginning. She took the knitted sweater and gave it to Saji. The later took it hesitantly. ¡°I have no choice¡¡±, she muttered. She quickly wore the sweater over her otherwise naked body. It was a grey knitted sweater with a very wide neckline. When Saji wore it, it only covered one shoulder, while the other was completely bare up till halfway to her elbow. A little wider and Saji¡¯s small breast would be in full view. Aside from the unusually wide neckline the sweater was also longer then a normal one. It reached halfway to Saji¡¯s knees and completely covered her lower body. The only draw back was that if Saji lifted her arms to wide or bend down to pick something up her lower body would be completely visible to anyone who looked at her. Truthfully it was only a little better then wearing a see-through shawl. ¡°Perfect!¡± At least Kelin was satisfied with the result. It had begun A few hours later Ji and Rey had finished laying down an enormous array. It covered almost three hundred meters square and consisted of thousands of small round stones. Each of them had a small symbol engraved upon it by Ji. Together they formed a complicated construct of circles, lines and other unidentifiable symbols. It was truly a vast project and took a lot of work on both sides. ¡°Couldn¡¯t you just use some sort of magic to collect those stones?¡±, Rey was panting. Sweat formed beats on his forehead and completely soaked his grey shirt. They had worked for hours and all the time long the sun had been shining right down on them. He was exhausted and tired. Ji on the other hand looked completely fine and tidy. Not a single drop of sweat could be seen in his face, not even the speck of dirt stained his clothes. But if one looked closely one could see that he too had a tired look on his eyes. ¡°Believe me if I could I would have done it. This type of array must be laid down by hand otherwise it won¡¯t work. Don¡¯t ask me why, in this world there is probably no one who understands the god damn reason.¡±, he took one last stone and placed it on the dusty ground. ¡°It¡¯s ready.¡±, he said to Rey. Rey tiredly sat down onto a big rock. He looked at the net of stones they had set up. ¡°What does this thing even do?¡±, he said while staring at it. Ji chuckled. ¡°You will see it right now!¡± He walked towards the edge of the array. There was a single location where all the lines made of the small stones came together and combined into a single, thick line. This was where Ji stopped. He squatted down and placed his hand onto the ground. For a moment nothing happened, then suddenly the stones began to glow. The glow became brighter and brighter until it became to bright to look into. The whole array had become a sea of white light. Finally, the light collapsed and turned into a dark void. The void slowly transformed, changing its form into a rectangular shape. Finally, a simple wooden door took shape. If a stranger looked at it he would think that someone had forgotten their door in the middle of a wasteland. Ji smiled. ¡°It fucking worked.¡± Rey looked at the door and wondered. ¡°Where does it lead to?¡± ¡°To an incredible place.¡±, Ji answered mysteriously. At this moment a sound came from the door. A small creak escaped, and the door was opened. An old man appeared in the doorframe. He wore simple linen clothing and had grey hair that he had bound back. A faint smile was on his face as he stepped out of the door. ¡°It has been some time hasn¡¯t it?¡±, his voice was deep and hoarse. ¡°Sure, it¡¯s been. Where is the rest of you guys?¡±, Ji looked into the dark space behind the old man, but there was nothing but absolute darkness there. The man looked somewhat embarrassed. ¡°Well they took a small detour to Tian¡¯s shop¡ they said they would directly come to Kelin¡¯s place. I stayed behind so you don¡¯t wonder about it.¡± Ji stared at him. His expression fell. ¡°I worked three hours¡. FOR NOTHING?!¡±, he felt betrayed. The old man coughed awkwardly. ¡°Well we couldn¡¯t have known that it would be this easy to return to the outside world and there wasn¡¯t much to do here so they couldn¡¯t resist¡¡±The author''s narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. ¡°¡¡±, Ji had the urgent desire to facepalm himself. ¡°Fine¡ let¡¯s get back to the town.¡±, he shook his head. ¡ ¡°Enemy attack!¡±, shouts rung through the air and were soon accompanied by pained yells and the sound of explosions. Multicolored lights appeared and disappeared, taking many lives with them. ¡°The heaven is here!¡±, someone shouted before being brutally killed. The camp of the gods was under attack by battalions of white clothed beings that descended from the heaven. Lightnings fell and killed many, swords were drawn, and blood soon soaked the ground. They attacked out of nowhere, without any warning, without any mercy. Humanoid gods blotted out the sky as they charged towards the earth The surprised gods quickly reformed their ranks and performed a counter attack. Hundreds of differently looking beings charged into the sea of white above. It was a magnificent scene. White dots descended towards the ground while multicolored dot¡¯s rose up to meet them up ahead. When they met what was left was crimson red. Lesser dragons roared as they flung themselves against whole groups of heavenly gods. One of them, a man with red hair drew a dagger and shot towards him. In a bloody cloud the human god was torn apart. The dragon howled victoriously. Soon after a red lightning descended from the heaven and turned him into ash. At another place three large fish violently rampaged through the heavens ranks, killing hundreds of gods. Their fins were filled with holes, their bodies bloodied with many missing scales, but they continued their mad attacks. Hundreds of white foxes charged into the air and turned a part of the battlefield into a sea of fire raging through the sky. Tens of flaming phenixes barged through the air and attacked any god they saw. Three men with tree¡¯s growing on their heads surrounded a single white dressed goddess and covered her in a rain of attacks. Blood rained from the heaven, bodies fell like snow in winter. And yet neither of both sides backed away. Suddenly a deep hum filled the air. Vibrations shook the earth and uprooted the trees. Stone shattered, mountains broke apart. The sound of a drum followed in rhythm, each beat felt like a thunderclap. It was an old man sitting on the base of a small mountain beneath the cruel massacre far above him. In front of him was a large drum which he unceasingly beat with his burly hands. The rhythm shook the earth and pierced the heaven as his old ancient voice rang out. ¡°Thu who you are eternal, Powerful and unrestrained.¡± The music became more and more powerful. ¡°Stand up you ancient being Stand up and struggle again. For they want to take your freedom Break and bind you with their chains.¡± Slowly more and more gods began to sing along, their voices loud and heroic. The singular lyrics became a chorus of voices, all different but united in their intentions. ¡°Fight for your freedom, Kill those who defile your name. For a god is free Those who chain one shall die!¡± The more they sung the more courageous the gods became. They attacked with everything they had. The sky distorted as they unleashed every ounce of power within their bodies. Slowly the battalions of the heaven were pushed back. ¡°Go and fight until your end, In bloody battle you struggle again. And may it be in vain! For a god is born free And a god shall die free!¡± The presence of the gods reached it¡¯s maximum. Their momentum was invincible, their moral at its peak. Even if they died they would kill, kill until there was no one left to kill! Kill until there was no heaven that would take their freedom. Kill until all there was left was them! At this moment there was nothing more powerful than them. More and more human gods were killed and fell from the sky. Mountains of death bodies, some human and some not, plotted the land while rivers of blood turned into seas of crimson. The stench of death turned the earth black and killed what had been remaining of the vegetation in these parts. It was truly a battle of gods. All they left behind was death and desolation. Suddenly the sky rumbled. The rumble became louder and louder and soon overcome the hum from the ground. Black clouds gathered over the merciless battle between gods and blotted out any sunlight. At this moment the world seemed to have descended into eternal darkness. The fighting did not cease for even a moment. More and more gods died and returned to the earth. Blood was spilled until red was the only thing left up in the sky. A bright light descended from the clouds. A gigantic white bold of lightning slowly fell from the sky. It completely engulfed the battling gods. Then for some time everything became a pure white. Of the three thousand gods that had participated in the battle, only nine managed to survive. Of the three thousand five hundred human gods that belonged to the heaven only three survived. Everything else had become ash and now covered the charred ground beneath. Three-hundred-thousand-five-hundred-twenty-two kilometers away Ji¡¯s expression changed, and he turned his head towards a certain direction. ¡°It has begun.¡±, his eyes grew sharp. We greet thu Blood scattered on the ground as three heads fell to the ground. Two were male, one was female. All of them were human gods that had been part of the heaven for thousands of years and carried out numerous duties to ensure the suppression over the other gods and races. Now all three were dead, their bodies headless as they fell to the wet ground. This street had always been wet and always dark, just like after a nightly rain. ¡°Even after 12000 years they still don¡¯t learn their lesson.¡±, a young man wiped the blood off his hand using a white handkerchief. Next, he cleansed his face of the scattered drops of blood. With a thought of his, the blood that had already dried on his hair and clothes was brushed of by a sudden breeze just like dust that disappeared into the world. After he had cleaned himself up he looked at a certain building some distance away. A bright neon sign said: A Dragon¡¯s Dream. The man sighed. ¡°Nothing has changed here either¡¡±, he walked towards the pub and entered through the black door. Inside the first thing he heard was roaring laughter coming from three individuals in the backside of the pub. The man clenched his fist, his eyebrows flinched. ¡°HOW CAN IT BE THAT AFTER TWELF THOUSAND YEARS NOTHING IN THIS DAMN WORLD HAS CHANGED??? IT¡¯S BEEN FUCKING TWELF THOUSAND YEARS!!!¡±, his voice echoed through the suddenly deadly silent pub. For a moment the man felt awkward, then suddenly booming laughter once again filled the room. ¡°Lil¡¯ Zed, still the same as all those years ago!¡±, one of the three culprits, a woman wearing a white traditional eastern-european outfit. Her face was flushed from the strong wine she had already drunk and she had loosed most of the buttons that held together her top. Two large mountains of flesh could be seen through the white fabric. ¡°Ah long time not seen, Zed you lil¡¯ rascal, how has it been running away from those bad humans?¡±, another of the three, a middle aged man with messy blond hair roared, obviously drunken to the extreme. ¡°Come sit down, drink with us before we go to the meetup!¡±, the last one, more or less somber said. Zed closed his eyes. ¡°How the fuck do I even know you bunch of embarrassing old people?¡±, he really seemed to be embarrassed to be seen with them. The woman frowned and pushed her two large breast with her hands. ¡°Do those look like they are old?¡± ¡°THAT¡¯S NOT THE POINT!¡±, Zed almost died in embarrassment. ¡°Oh Zed, you are finally here?!¡±, Tian appeared from the door hidden behind the bar. He looked over to the three drunken gods and an amused smile curled on his lips. ¡°Shouldn¡¯t you guys hurry up and get ready to meet up with Ji?¡±, he asked. ¡°Finally, a proper human being!¡±, Zed almost cried. ¡ Saji finished sketching after working for about two hours. A detailed sketch of a girl laid on her table. She was small and slender with two wings growing on her back. She wore a beautiful dress embroidered with motives of dragons and phenixes. It was a well-done sketch and Saji was very satisfied with herself. Suddenly someone nocked on the door. ¡°Lady Saji?¡±, a girly voice came from the other side of the room. Saji turned around. ¡°Come in!¡± The door opened, and Jae entered the room carrying a large bag. ¡°I have a message and a present from Lady Kelin.¡±, she said after taking a few steps inside and putting the back to the ground. ¡°She says¡±, Jea changed her voice into Kelin¡¯s mature and gentle voice. ¡°This evening we will welcome important guests, change into the outfit Jea brought you.¡±, she stopped speaking and picked up the back again. She closed the distance to Seji and gave her the bag. This tale has been unlawfully lifted without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. ¡°Please try them on.¡±, she said. Saji looked at the bag her expression grim. She pulled out the clothes inside. A short leather jacket, slim pants and two rolls of bandages. ¡°It could have been worse¡¡±, she said, honestly surprised that it wasn¡¯t something totally outrageous. She took the bandages and pulled her sweater up. Jea¡¯s face flushed and she turned around. Saji ignored her and began to wrap the bandages around her hips, two times until the most important spot wasn¡¯t visible anymore. Then she pulled the remaining roll and pulled it between her legs, once around one leg, over her hip to the other leg and once again between her legs. The bandages now formed a kind of very skimpy panties. Saji took of the rest of the sweater exposing her smallish breast to the light of the room. She took the second bandage roll and simply wrapped it three times around her breast. ¡°You can turn around again¡±, Saji grinned. Jea timidly turned around and saw Saji in her rather ¡®interesting¡¯ underwear. Her face was still flushed, but she didn¡¯t turn around again. Saji took the pants and put them on. They stuck tight to her skin and barely reached over the bandages. Next, she took the leather jacket and put it on. She buttoned up the knots until it wasn¡¯t visible that she only wore bandages beneath. Both the jacket and the pants were rather tightfitting, and the jacket was so short that Saji¡¯s stomach was fully in the open. She struck a lewd pose and Jea turned even more embarrassed. ¡°T-there is more to the message.¡±, she stuttered in her embarrassment. Her voice changed again. ¡°Tell that girl that she should put the insignia Ji gave her at the same spot you did.¡±, when she finished reciting the message Jea pinned her eyes to the floor. Saji shrugged. ¡°And where is that?¡± Jea almost exploded. Trembling the fumbled at her red skirt until it loosened and fell to the ground. A pair of low-leg panties came into Saji`s view. Jea slightly pulled up her t-shirt. There on her stomach, only a few millimeters above the fabric of the very, very short panties, a symbol with the shape of a black oak leave was tattooed into the small girls body. It was a very lewd place to put such an symbol and Saji instantly understood the underlying meaning behind this location. But by this point she was already desensitized to this kind of things. She tiredly nodded. ¡°You can dress again.¡± Jea nodded and hurried to put on her skirt again. With a boiling red head she ran outside the room. Saji was left alone and went to her desk. There on the wooden surface was the insignia of the most powerful god amongst the human gods. She picked it up. She pulled her pants down a little and pressed it down onto her body. Saji closed her eyes. She breathed in and exhaled slowly. Then she exited the room. She walked out of the house and headed right into the forest. The sun was setting and slowly but surely the usual nightlife of the forest began to pick up. Strange sounds echoed across the woods, fire spirits formed caravans as they wandered in the twilight. Here and there she could see fairies flying around in their usual lively manners. Somehow every time Saji came into the forest it seemed to become a little larger and its inhabitants seemed to become more numerous and diverse. She run across a small whitish spirit with the appearance of a small buddha statue. It stared at her for a moment, then it decided to disappear like it had never been there. After almost ten minutes of marching she had finally reached the clearing with the large, ancient tree. There she saw Kelin, wearing beautiful white dress, accompanied by Jea who wore only underwear. Her black oak tattoo was in plain sight and gave off a mysterious glow. Her young face was flushed in embarrassment and she refused to lift her eyes from the ground. Aside from those two there was Ji who was followed by Rey and another unknown old man. When Ji saw Saji his eyebrows shot up and his eyes widened. Saji could swear that for a moment there was a hint of red on his cheeks, but it disappeared to fast to be sure. ¡°¡Kelin?¡±, he asked awkwardly. ¡°I DON¡¯T want to talk about it¡¡±, Saji simply replied. The old man behind Ji suddenly laughed. ¡°So, after all those years you haven¡¯t become impotent after all!¡±, he said laughing. Both Ji and Saji froze. ¡°What?!¡±, Ji said almost shouting a little. ¡°Haven¡¯t you noticed where she placed your insignia?¡±, the old man asked confused. Ji turned his yes to Saji and quickly glanced over his body. When he saw the tattoo on Saji¡¯s lower stomach his entire body seemed to freeze over. His eyes almost seemed to have popped out of his head. He had to force himself to not attack Kelin right there. Instead he clenched his trembling fists and waited for a moment until he had calmed down a bit. ¡°We will talk about¡ ¡®that¡¯ later¡¡±, he pointed at the insignia. Saji just shrugged her shoulders. ¡°I¡¯m yours either way so where is the problem?¡±, the one day with Kelin had really changed her worldview in an extreme way. This time Ji¡¯s face truly turned red for a moment. The old man laughed heartily. ¡°This is how a young lad should be!¡±, he exclaimed and patted Saji¡¯s shoulder. Ji was about to say something, when suddenly a small flame appeared right in front of the ancient tree. It was only about as large as a fist and calmly floated in the air. It¡¯s red flames gently flickered in the light breeze of the evening. Then it began to move. It shot a few meters to the side, then upwards, curved and arc and returned to it¡¯s original position. There it divided itself into two exactly same flames. Those two began to move again and slowly formed a circle of fire. The circle expanded until it reached the size of an grown man, then it turned into a large ball of fire. The whole forest lightened up in response. Then a person stepped out of the fire. He was a young man with short black hair and a very annoyed expression. As soon as he saw Ji he went up to him and got on his knee. A second person stepped out of the fire, once again a male, but this time he was middle aged and had blonde hair. He took a short look around and then also went up to Ji and kneeled next to the other man. The third person was a woman wearing a traditional eastern-european outfit. She did the same as the two before her. A third man followed behind her and similarly kneeled before Ji. ¡°We greet thu, Ji, wise sage and pillar of the human race!¡±, all three said in unison.
