¡®Where am I? What am I?... Who am I?¡¯ I thought as I woke up in dense ocean of green trees. I could have sworn I was just recently waiting for my master to return. A blue transparent screen was floating only 10 inches from my face. What were these words? I didn¡¯t know what words like sentience was, or ¡°gained¡±. It was a funny word. I looked around, I was not alone. I could hear and smell other animals some distance away, and possibly other dogs. ¡°RUFF RUFF!¡±

Ignoring the screen I ran as fast as my legs could take me for my master. I was getting terribly hungry and could not see any signs that may lead to my home. As I reached towards the source of the noise, it became more and more rowdy. A large group of dogs stood in a circle looking as if they were discussing something. Many different breeds, small and big, thick coated and thin sat alike. As I galloped closer I began to pick up on their conversation. ¡°We¡¯re smarter than the cats now!¡± One of the bigger dogs said. ¡°Yeah!¡± Followed the crowd, with a howl. ¡°How can that be possible!? The cats were always smarter than us!¡± One small poodle argued. ¡°No they weren¡¯t! They were just¡­ mean! Yeah! Mean!¡± The bigger dog replied. At that moment, one of the dogs asked a question that changed what they were talking about entirely. ¡°Friends¡­ where are humans?¡± A pitbull asked, curiously. ¡°The hoomans are just gone for walk, right?¡± A dachshund replied. ¡°Who¡¯ll feed me? Who¡¯ll take care of me?¡± A great dane panicked as he started to cry. ¡°Hooman! Where you at!? We need you to feed us good meat!!!¡± A doberman shouted. ¡°Wait guys, what happened if they are just planning a birthday party-,¡± A german shepherd said. ¡°Again, for the last time, no one cares that it''s your birthday today!¡± The doberman shouted angrily. ¡°Ahem!¡± I interrupt them with a short cough, they all look at me with worry in their eyes, quick flashes of fear then eventually trust. ¡°Friends, have you seen my master? I have just woken up from my nap, last thing I remember was the big light.¡± I continued. They do not reply only looking at me, the bigger doberman responds finally. ¡°We are also facing the same problems¡­ friend¡­ We all have woken up recently as well.¡± ¡°Yes, the light! It was so bright, one thing i know for sure is that my favorite tree is still here¡± The german shepherd walked over to the tree. It reeked of his piss. ¡°Next to this tree was my house, and my masters home! But here we are standing and no masters home!¡± he continued rambling. ¡°I¡¯m scared¡­¡± the great dane said as he whined in sadness. If there was one thing I could collect with my newfound ¡°setience¡± is that where ever our masters are, they are gone.

Looking around, after the old dobermans words, most of the animals were starting to panic, some whining and others just looking down at the ground. Weeks? Months? Years? Some of us cannot last an hour without getting our ears scratched. We must band together! For our masters!¡± I said, trying to motivate them, many of the words I used I could remember my master using them. I tried my best to sound like the smartest in this group.

Quickly the mood of the group changed, this odd group of 16 or so, started a cheer of singing, howling and nonsensical joking. I join them as we sit around the big beech tree, its sprouting limbs gave us shade from the hot summer sun. ¡°So what do we do now?¡± Asked the german shepherd, looking at me. The speech lightened their mood, but the unknown of what''s to come for now and later made them look to me for answers.

This sounded like something way over my head, I didn''t not know what management meant but previous to this event my master made me take some leadership courses and house training, maybe that is what It meant. I look around, most of the dogs were small, the rest where german shepherds, Bull mastiffs, and Dobermans. I quickly look through all this information and try to absorb it. A few of the other dogs could understand it while the others were too dull to comprehend any of it. ¡°For now brethren let us worry about food and shelter, and find more of our kind.¡± I say while dismissing my screen. They look at me and consensus was made that food and shelter was most important at the moment.
5 WEEKS AFTER THE CHANGE, MC POV It has been a few weeks after the ¡°change¡±, it has become an unsolicited truth that it is possible our masters will not come back. Many of us have come to resent them for leaving us here in the wide wilderness. Tents and shacks have been made around the beech tree, we use it as a landmark as it was the largest in the area. We are currently creating what we would call the council house, we are going to use it to hold meetings and other things. As our group has risen to a whopping 15 thousand members we will need more space. Most of us have chosen to be hunters, mostly young adult males. The rest find work in this city which we will call uudNau. As the last sticks were added and the floor was smoothened, Adolph, representative of the Dobermans walked over to me. He was skinny but tall, and had very developed muscles. He was a lure course racer before the change and led the dobermans and beagles. ¡°Friend, the rabbit population is only seeming to rise. More and more are coming closer to our territory.¡± He says under his breath. Friend was a title everyone in the city started to use out of reflex. The local rabbits were numerous and also gained intelligence. We could not understand them but it was known they too had their own language. We often used them as a source of food other than fish caught from the streams. ¡°Establish more hunters on the southern front, and make a scouting party that should go and investigate deeper into their own territories, I want no casualties! Those vermins can be quite troublesome at high numbers, but for now stay here we are holding the council.¡± I reply. He looked at me surprised, ¡°Oh I have almost forgotten, Kaiser. I will remind Sigmund as well.¡± He said. I walk over to the tent, it could hold 50 dogs comfortably. Outside was a elevated stone platform with a smaller stone next to it, meant to be used as step. As I climbed through it and stood in the pillar I looked over the small city. The city had many shacks and tents, most were made by builders who were ordered to since the population increases, other were made by the owners out of impacients. Fellow Hunds walked throughout the city doing house work and transporting material. ¡°You over there, notify the howlers that the meeting is starting soon.¡± I command to a young puppling. ¡°Y-yes sir!¡± He nervously responds, running quickly. The howlers were the loudest in the group and would howl together as a way to send long distance messages. 5 minutes later I could hear the piercing howl, and slowly more and more dogs collected on the field in front of me. Most of them were German Shepherds accounting 45% of the population, the other 2 major groups were Dobermans, 26% and Bull Mastiffs, 21%. The smaller dogs were easily killed and mostly died out, the beagles remained somewhat numerous and was needed for their good nose. They were 6% of the population, the other breeds combined accounting for 2%. As the last groups of hunters arrived, 13 thousand of our brethren sat and waited, we were missing some people and children were not allowed to attend. Some had discussion. Wanting to dismiss them I say, ¡°Quiet down friends, quiet down.¡± The noise slowly fades until it is fully halted. Adolph the Doberman, and Sigmund the Bull Mastiff walk up to the stone platform and stand to my left and right. Adolph looks at me giving me the sign for me to start, and Sigmunds old lazy face stood patiently seeming indifferent. ¡°Friends, brethren, It is time to start the council.¡±
MAP (WIP) Chapter 2: Advancements

Chapter 2: Advancements

All the dogs looked up at the platform, some wagging their tails, others panting from the summer heat. ¡°First of all, is their any news you would like to discuss Adolph or Sigmund?¡± Adolph give me a horizontal nod signaling no, and sigmund said. ¡°Well now that you have mentioned it, with the construction finished on the council we need workers on the construction of the southern bridge.¡± He said slowly, Sigmund was much younger than his appearance let on. Adolph remembering said ¡°I would like to add for all hunters to shift their hunting to the south of the river, the rabbit population is growing. After this meeting I would like 30 volunteers to scout deep into their territory.¡± Seeing that they were done talking I start my speech. ¡°Hello brethren, it has been almost 6 weeks since the disappearance of our masters¡­¡± I say. Some dogs grumble in annoyance at the the mention of their old masters. ¡°... I feel the same friends, they have left us here in the forest to fend for ourselves, but we only prove them wrong for leaving us. We have thrived and will continue to thrive!¡± I say, the crowd follows with a round of hollowing. Adolph signals them to be quiet, and Sigmund looking ever so indifferent. Not everyone was howling happily in the back a group of troublesome youths seemed to be glaring at me. ¡°As the leader I will work hard-¡± I say interrupted by the young group. ¡°Who made you the leader! You think you can just assume leadership and tell us what to do!¡± One argued. ¡°Yeah! You¡¯re fancy words mean nothing to us, the people who work every day and fight outside of the city and die.¡± The young passionate hund said. He may be referencing the latest crisis that happened a few days ago which a squad of hunters were killed by a larger scouting party of the rabbits. ¡°Stop your idiotic rambling you imbeciles!¡± Adolph ordered. ¡°Ahem!¡± I interrupt. ¡°Friends, I am fighting for the spread and domination of our people. I work too everyday guiding and helping and sometimes join in hunts. The loss of your colleagues are well thought, any death to us Hunds deeply hurts me, we are working on the case of the rabbits.¡± I say quieting them, they looked at me angrily but seemed to understand. ¡°The system gifted me the title of leader, as it has gifted us the ability of deeper intelligence. It is for that reason we have have gathered here today. New gifts should be chosen, it asks that we come to an agreement and choose!¡± I said ¡°I have seen the list of available choices, many of them seem promising and we will choose them now. The first gift was ¡°Improved Acquisition which only made our learning ability higher and leveling of our statuses.¡± I said, some dogs were confused of what that meant but now understood. ¡°Now the only choices we have left are ¡°Racial Trait¡±, ¡°Patron God¡± and ¡°Race Mutation¡± which we have 2 of. Let us start with racial traits.¡±

Adolph read out the options, after each one was read outloud the crowd seemed to be more and more excited. Two oppositions were made, the hunters and thinkers. The Hunters and their families wanted any of the three choices for perception to help with the hunt. Thinkers and common citizens believed an improvement of intelligence would greatly help the colony. ¡°We need more strength for the hunts! How else could we defend against the growing horde of rabbits!¡± Said one dog. ¡°No! We need intelligence many of us cannot even count the fingers on their paws! I¡¯m looking at you Hermann!¡± Argued another. Suddenly an outbreak of arguments started amongst the thirteen thousand people. Adolph once again signaled them to stop. ¡°Comrades, now is not the time to argue. I suggest that we are already great hunters, our noses can smell far, and ears as well. We dominate these forests, just past the plains the rabbits hold any actual threat. They may kill a few of us but with combined forces we can wipe them out in a single try.¡± I say trying to comfort the hunters. They look at me worried, Adolph as well. I nod to Adolph to assure him I know what I am doing. ¡°With the completion of this council we need more intelligent members to hold councils and discuss what is best for you the people. You will elect and nominate these council members of course.¡± They all had a sudden ¡°Oh, thats sounds right.¡± moment and whispered to themselves on how good of an idea that would be. I have already thought of this idea beforehand and tried to convince them. ¡°We will still hold a voting, if you want intelligence raise your right hand, if you want any of the 3 perception traits raise your left.¡± I said. Most of them look at me confused, possibly not knowing their left from their right. Adolph annoyed says ¡°If you want intelligence raise your paws, if you want any of the 3 perception traits don''t raise anything.¡± The dogs quickly get what was needed and do so. 73% chose intelligence, the rest chose perception. The hunters seemed somewhat upset. ¡°Do not worry hunters with new found intelligence better tools, tactics and other things will be developed to help you in your trips!¡± I said, they seemed contempt. ¡°Now for the race mutations, I do not know what race mutations mean but it may change our physical bodies.¡± As I said this some of them became scared others curious.

Adolph once again read out the options, the crowd was now even more excited. One dog howled happily. ¡°Friends! Opposable thumbs means we will now be able to rub each others stomachs and ears!¡± ¡°You idiot we need to walk upright, it will allow us to cross large terrains, climb and go through rivers more easily.¡± ¡°Calm down, calm down.¡± I interrupted their argument. ¡°We have two choices, it seems we all agree thumbs and upright walking will be our two choices.¡± Sigmund coughed and interjected ¡°Perhaps increasing our fertility will help against the rabbit population, for ever 1 of our children 40 oh theirs are born¡­¡± Adolph, leader of the scouting units and hunters argued ¡°They may have a higher population but we are stronger than them, by a large margin such worries are not needed dear friend Sigmund. A higher population would only increase the need for houses and food. Upright walking and improved hands will help us in defeating those vermin!¡± With that the crowd all happily howled, and sigmund face returned its usual apathetic demeanor ¡°Stomach rubs!¡± They started cheering. ¡°I am happy to comrades but we have one more choice leftover, it is very influential to us.¡±

As Adolph read the last one, everyone was confused. No one knew what a god was, but the benefits seemed very important to spreading our domination. One hunter spoke and said ¡°Friends! Perhaps picking the Forest God will increase our trips and hunts!¡± Adolph seemed to agree with them. Sigmund, who was almost sleeping, woke up by the sudden screaming. ¡°Comrades, The Forest God is a good candidate but don''t make it so you forget about the other choices. For example The Sun God, with fall and winter approaching the land will get cold, our tents cannot provide any warmth. We can create fires to keep up warm, and increase our might in the battlefield!¡± The crowd was skeptical as I said this, I did not know what to say. ¡°Choosing the Sun God will allows us to defeat the rabbits, keep us warm and make delicious food. Hunters trust me in this that this is a great addition to our people, we will not be held by the expanse of the forest forever, one day we will go to the Alpine Mountains, plains and past the great eastern river!¡± Adolph said backing me up, I Looked at him, surprised. He smiles back and nods. With that the choice was made, and sigmund ended the meeting. ¡°Can 45 of our best thinkers come to the platform, 15 Shepherds, 15 Bull Mastiffs, 15 Dobermans and 5 beagles.¡± Sigmund said. The crowd looked back and forth at each other. Each of the 4 races lives in their own communities and did not intermingle except at the city center. They all knew each other and knew who the most dull or genius was in their respective communities. ¡°Hans get up there, don¡¯t hide that big brain of yours!¡± One hund said to their friend hiding. Slowly the stage was filled with 50 people. ¡°Does anyone have any objections?¡± Adolph asked. ¡°That one Shepherd Hund, Karl I have seen him chase his own tail and has gotten lost in the forest at least 11 times this past few weeks¡± A few people agreed with him, noticing it was him. ¡°Get that fool off the stage!¡± They started barking. The fool walks down from the stage embarrassed, the other 49 dogs looked at him pitying him. ¡°We still need one more!¡± I announce. A female Shepherd walks up to the platform, many of the dogs seemed troubled. ¡°What? A female? That bitch is unfit for such a task, she will get in heat mid council hahaha!¡± One Doberman jokes. ¡°No female would ever be in heat for you Hans, you should be worrying about your inadequate hunting skills rather than my ability to council.¡± She replied. The doberman had no response as he has not caught even the smallest rabbit in the last hunt, truly a laughing stock. ¡°What is your name?¡± I ask her. ¡°My name is Lana, sir.¡± She replies. ¡°As far as I see being a female will not stop you from being in the council, please welcome Lana generously as well as the other 49. The first meeting will be held 5 days from now inside the tent. I will be picking the changes tonight when most of us are sleeping so when we wake it will be like a new beginning!¡± The crowd sang and cheered and eventually all left back to their duties. Adolph looks over to me and says ¡°Good speech comrade, your way of the tongue and leadership improved everyday!¡± ¡°Yes I have gotten the skills ¡°Inspire II¡± as well as some other skills which helped me.¡± ¡°Most interesting, I have gained some skills as well. One in particular is ¡°Order I¡± which makes most obey my command.¡± Adolph replied. As we continued our conversation Sigmund joined. Sigmund was the leader of the Bull Mastiffs and often was entrusted with building and projects in the city. ¡°Oh Sigmund, it is nice of you to join us.¡± I say as he looks at me. ¡°I just came to tell you a few things, the construction of more tents is needed as more and more decide to join our ranks every day from other local dog groups. The bridge to the Southern River is being started tomorrow and I would like escorts as the place is overrun by rabbits. And lastly, I received a mission to build a monument for the sun god.¡± He replies. ¡°Alright, with the new upgrades all these thing shall prove to be easier. I will escort you to the Southern River with a few of my men tomorrow. As for the monument, hold that off until we finish the bridge, with it we will increase our hunting range and make it easier to reach the rabbits. Adolph I still want you to send your scouts to find where the rabbits like to call home.¡± With that Sigmund said his farewells and went home, he was always tired. Many would call him lazy and apathetic but he greatly cared for the cause and was very loyal to me and the people. ¡°Comrade would you like to come to my home for the night?¡± I say, I was bored and had nothing left to do. ¡°Sorry friend I have many things that I must arrange another one of our groups were killed by some strange creatures as they tried to scout the mountain ranges.¡± Adolph replied. With that he said his farewell, I looked up at the sky, and orange tinge lit its unending expanse. It was getting dark.
3 HOURS LATER, MC(KAISER) POV As I lay inside my tent I think about who thought of making something like this, it was bigger than the other tents, the builders said I needed it as I was the leader. Most were asleep by now, finding it the best chance I quickly made all the decisions discussed today in the council on my status. My body glows brightly and a tingling sensation flowed up my spine and into my brain. The sensation and glow faded away. As I open my eyes I was no sitting on my behind, 2 long upright legs laid on the dirt floor. I look at my hands, they now looked like a humans, rugged and more hairy than any human I''ve seen but it made my reminisce of my master, I could barely remember his face now. My hair grew longer, I was known for my long hair but now it was even longer going down the back of my head. My coat became orange blonde, with black on certain parts of my body. I open the race status.

This change did not hurt, only a slight numbness in my legs could be felt. Trying to stand up with my newfound legs i quickly fell over, after many attempts I decided it was better for tomorrow and fell asleep. Chapter 3: Beyond the Forest

Chapter 3: Beyond The Forest

Waking up, everything from yesterday seemed to feel like a dream. Looking at my elongated up forward leg, it was not so. Standing up my head almost touches the top of the tent, I was not particularly a large person but also not short, somewhere above average. I cautiously step one leg at a time, out of my tent. The bright sun rays hit my pupils, the sun felt better than usual. As my eyes dilate to adapt to the sun I start seeing what I could only classify as chaos. Many dogs were tripping over themselves, falling and tents were on fire. Where did the fire come from I do not know. ¡°What''s happening!¡± I ask the nearest worker, he was incharge of bringing sticks to the construction sites. ¡°Sir with the new change everyone is having difficulties¡± He said ¡°Yes I know that but where did all this fire come from?¡± I replied ¡°I don¡¯t know sir, I¡¯ve seen some people with fire coming out of their hands but they are as clueless as me or you¡­¡± He said ¡°Alright, sound the howlers I shall make an announcement.
25 MINUTES LATER, ADOLPH POV As I stood next to our leader he discussed that we will have a break from all duties for today only to get use to our new bodies. For the speech he stood up which motivated us to try it aswell. It was not hard to figure out, I have gotten use to it by now but other dogs are finding it harder. Kaiser looks at me giving me my queue. ¡°And for the next order, everyone who says fire has been affected by this update and fire is coming out of your hands please report to me. We will discuss of what this means and its usefulness. That is it!¡± I command, with that all the people left and went to their homes, some walked upright others continued walking on their 4 limbs but it was awkward due to the new limbs.
THE NEXT DAY, KAISER POV By now everyone has gotten use to their legs and hands, the system provided innate knowledge for most of the learning and instincts. As for the fire it seems to be a side effect of picking the sun god. Many of us, around 30% have been giving ¡°FIRE BLESSING I¡± skill, allowing basic creation of fire on our hands, allowing us to ignite things on fire like sticks for warmth. The skill seems to be given to people with a higher intelligence and wisdom then average, as 100% of the council has the skill. As I wrap a leather wrap around my waist it hid my reproductive organs. After acquiring ¡°Intelligence II¡± small behaviors have been planted into my head such as hiding my parts. Many of us have adopted this new clothing, and the ones who have not have been seen as barbaric. I left my tent and and walk towards Sigmunds house, he lived far away from me, the city of uudNau was large but not very dense. We were the apex species in these forests. As the 4 major species live in this city they all live in their own groups. The German Shepherds in the north, Dobermans in the East, Bull Mastiffs in the South and the Beagles live with the Dobermans due to their similarity in work. The German Shepherds were adapt at any task, many were hunters, workers or builders. While the Dobermans and Beagles loved to hunt, and one wouldn''t see them outside of the hunting grounds. The Bull Mastiffs were also like this that due to their large muscle and frame they were mostly builders and craftsmen. Sigmund''s tent was the largest, he partly made it himself. He was a great builder and designer and used as much as he could about human civilization to make ours. He was inside sleeping as he always was, tapping on his shoulder I wake him up. He doesn''t open his eyes but answers. ¡°Today is my break, talk to Alto for orders...¡± He said, before dozing off back to sleep. ¡°It¡¯s me Kaiser, Sigmund wake up¡± I say in a hurried tone. ¡°Oh, good morning comrade Kaiser. Did you need something¡± He replies. ¡°That mission you were speaking off, the monoment. The blessing of fire has greatly improved our living. I was thinking of pushing that forward for today, with the finishing of it, the blessing may grow in strength and the destruction of the rabbit fiend will be easily dealt with.¡± I say, sitting down on the floor. ¡°I was thinking of that, already working on it, it is to be built in front of the beech tree. Speak to Alto he will explain. And as for me, it is time for my well needed break.¡± He said going back to sleep. He left me no time to reply, I smile as I leave my comrade to his sweet slumber. I leave his large tent, and head to the beech tree. It was in the center so many people collected here and exchanged conversations. The tree was large, almost 64 of us if one were to stand on top of each others head. I arrive on the sight, a young man with a strong posture and build was ordering other works. ¡°Alto?¡± I question. He turns around, after seeing me lowered his head. ¡°Yes sir, what do you need of me?¡± It was natural in Hund manners to not look directly in the eyes of someone with higher class or honor. ¡°Friend, Sigmund told me you were in charge of the monument that is to be built. The beech tree is a great choice but the sun will not shine bright under its shade. Seeing as you have not started, wouldn''t it be better to move construction site to the largest hill east from here?¡± ¡°Yes that is a great idea Sir, You head heard him get moving!¡± He ordered at the workers. Remembering that I had to speak with Adolph I go to the hunters tent. The tent was a collection of tents, full of meats and things found in the forests. As I walk inside I see some of the rabbits being above a fire with the smoke going over it. ¡°You like the new smoked rabbit? The fishermen at the south river learned this technique, it adds flavor and preservers the meat and it works wonders on the rabbits as well.¡± Adolph says as he walked behind me, he was quite the sneak.This story has been unlawfully obtained without the author''s consent. 2 HOURS LATER, KAISER POV Long Grass Plains As we traversed past the eastern river and escaped the expanse of the forest we met the plains. The grass in this region was fairly long almost reaching our waist, the rabbits hid in these areas with the protection from the tall grass. They were horrifying cunning and adept at trickery, as we keep walking one hunter screams. ¡°Rabbit!!¡± He barks We all get on alert, rabbits never wandered off alone. Usually come in clusters of 20 or even 45. Our group was currently 100 of the best hunters and 10 beagles. ¡°Sniff them out men, we can''t have them running back it will ruin this mission!¡±Adolph ordered, quickly all the beagles and some hunters pointed their nose to the air, our strong nose capabilities could pick up the faintest of smells. ¡°Over here!¡± One beagle said, seeing that their positions were spotted the rabbits fleed. Quickly being stopped by a flank of dobermans. They were called chasers as they were the fastests, and could catch rabbits. I catch up to them, and join the fight. A unlucky rabbit''s back off infront of me to flee the slash of a hunter, catching him with my claws I sink them into his neck, he looked at me with eyes of fear and panic. He too recieved intelligence from the system, a lot of things were running through the rabbits mind but these were not people to feel bad for. Letting go of my grasp of my neck, I killed a few more rabbits. They were surrounded and panicking, outnumbered they easily lost.

The stat points seemed to be assigned automatically, depending on the means of leveling. For example I have gained 3 levels prior just to giving speeches and giving orders. The base starts at the race base, in total I have used 12 points, 2 per level. Adolph ordered his men to be more careful, we were now approaching the rabbits domain.

ALTOS¡¯ POV I chose the largest hill in the area, it was steep in its left and front side, the back and right as a nice slope which allowed the workers to bring the rocks gathered from the mountains. Our workers were strong and carried large rocks in groups of 4. Sigmund gave me instructions on how to build the monument. He is truly a genius, no one in the city would have the brain to come up with this. 5 tall stones would be placed in a circle, on top would be more rocks, the middle was a stand with table made of stone on top. It would be used to sacrifice animals and other things, on the steepest side a ¡°stair¡± was being made. I remember this when I lived with my old master but Sigmund said it is important as the steep side faced the city. The stairs were made of different sized blocks of rock, chiseled by sharp rocks. We were almost done, with the last steps being added and the sacrificial stand being decorated. Hopefully the hunting party and our leader will return after its commencement.
BRUNOS¡¯ POV We have successfully scouted the planes south of the forest, going any deeper would result in us being overrun by the rabbit swarm. As the leader of the scouting unit of the hunters my nose is very fine tuned to the smelling and scavenging of these plains. I could estimate maybe millions of rabbits have accumulated in their lands. I inform this to Adolph and he ordered me to bring 3 of my best men and infiltrate directly inside their base and leave unseen. I represent the Beagles and work only directly under Adolph, so I take the task. As I reach a small lake me and my 3 men rub the mud on our fur, concealing most of our scent. Just past this lake would be the rabbits city. I cautiously traverse the planes, hiding in the tall grass. We reach a golden field, the field was the shape of a rectangle or squares. At the end of the field was a house, much like our tents but made out of grass and twigs, not pelts and branches. There was thousands of buildings like these, the golden fields seem to be full of these golden grass that the rabbits would harvest. I pull some of the golden grass and place it in my pouch, and sling it in my back. My comrades do the same and we slip past into the inner city, walking from field to field hiding in the grass. We reached the main city, thousands of rabbits could be seen celebrating in some sort of event. After which they began to glow a warm blue, very much like we did the night we received our mutations and traits. The leader stood up, now on his hind legs stood clumsily. He head a long shaft of wood that was pointed at its end. He held such a weapon with new hands. It seems the rabbits are making similar advancements to us perhaps faster, I conclude these golden grains are food for the large population, and with the acquirement of similar mutation they hope to compete with us on a large level. As I hide behind the large rock a small rabbit clumsily stepped in front of me, scared he urinated and cried for help. I quickly flung a rock at his head, it went through with no effort and I signaled my men to quickly retreat before they find out of our location.
ADOLPH POV, 3 HOURS LATER ¡°So you are saying we are no match for the Rabbits Bruno?¡± I ask ¡°Yes they have become bipedal, and obtained methods of land cultivation we have not even thought of! Here¡­¡± Bruno says as hands me some golden grains. ¡°They have farms, in the hundreds scattering their domain, they use this to feed the millions of soldiers they have.¡± He continued. ¡°Millions?! What do you think of this Kaiser? You seem to be quiet on this return trip¡± I say ¡°I believe in my men, we shall prepare for an attack, we must no go to them as they outnumber us and their domain will give them the leverage. As for the plans for protection I have an idea I shall discuss with in the council meeting tomorrow. For now let us only think of our bounties we have collected and celebrate with the finishing of the Sun Gods monument.¡± ¡°Yes I have almost forgotten of such thing events, hopefully the new council members prove wise.¡± I say. This was a long walk ahead and even a longer days to come, can we defeat the spread of these rabbits?
KAISER POV, 1 HOUR LATER As we arrive to the outskirts of our great city uudNau, the bustling commosion stopped as they see our men walk barely unscathed with me and adolph leading proudly. ¡°Hail the glorious leaders on the bountiful hunt!¡± One resting hunter who did not go on the trip exclaimed. As the hunters pack away the food, and Adolph ordered them what to prepare for the ritual event I go to the construction site. I met Sigmund their, in his usual manner of tired apathy he greeted me. ¡°The monument is built if you go up these stairs, I feel like something is missing. Perhaps a statue with your name?¡± He said. ¡°Why should my name be on it, I want the people of uudNau to think ¡®Why isn¡¯t there a monument for built him¡¯ then ¡®Why does he have a monument¡¯. Comrade, one shall not praise false idols our new patron god will guide us.¡± I replied. ¡°Such wise words Kaiser, always with your rhetorics and ... words. Maybe the thing missing is a suitable sacrifice¡­¡± He says as his voice trails. I walk up the stairs, it reminds me of the one I had in my masters home. Those times now vivid and forgotten, as I take my last step I could see the sun setting, during these late summers the darkness would envelope the land quicker.

KAISER POV, 6 WEEKS AFTER THE CHANGE As the ritual continued the dancing, drumming and singing became rowdier until I escaped from the crowd to get some fresh air. Bumping into Lana the female council member she falls onto the ground. I give her my hand to help her up. ¡°Are you alright comrade?¡± ¡°Yes sir, I was just looking for Hans for the meeting tomorrow.¡± She says. ¡°No reason for formalities, this is a celebration.¡± I say charmingly. Her tail swung side to side as she asked if she could accompany me, I accept but I could see further intentions as many dogs are developing families and communities, also in a few months or so most of the single females will go in heat. As we walk and talk about the council and other important topics she switches the conversation. ¡°I¡¯ve been thinking¡­ Isn¡¯t it time we organize the people for example last names, married couples would share a name.¡± She says. ¡°That is a good idea but with our current writing tools which consist of writing in park and clay tablets could not supply such things.¡± I reply. ¡°S- .. Comrade, I have heard you have no mate for the upcoming season, Adolph and even Sigmund have found a mate.¡± She says, as the tension rises. She had no humility in asking, it was common for young Hunds to find a mate before the season, even before the change. ¡°Ah yes, I just haven¡¯t seemed to find one. As we walk farther away from her into the woods Adolph looks at me smiling. ¡°What is so urgent you had to interrupt my conversation Comrade?¡± I ask. ¡°I saw that you were stuck with her, word has it that she fancies you a whole deal and has rejected most Hunds for this season.¡± He says. ¡°Hm, she brought up a good point. We should integrate a last name and perhaps middle name system to count the families and bloodlines.¡± I say. ¡°Lighten up comrade, now is not the time to talk of such things! You have seen those dancers! And who ever thought up of those leather drums needs the best spoils of the hunt! Our numbers have reached to 20 thousand due to migrants from the western lake, we started out small and found fellow dogs in the forest but after that they seemed to migrate to us as we were the biggest faction of the race. There is smaller dog factions in the northern forests and others in the west where they say they are being pushed back. Many of the them here are young, some even born after the change being called the new generation, they had no idea or thought of the old world and or our masters. The crowd opens up space for me and Adolph to walk, we walk towards the sacrificial stand. Sigmund was already there wearing the garments as well. ¡°My comrades, it is a great pleasure to tell you we have infiltrated enemy forces and advanced in our plans to rid these lands of the rabbit vermin!¡± I say as I hold a half dead rabbit on my left hand. ¡°These rabbit vermin eat all the plants in the land and only prove to be a source of food for us.¡± I continue and place the rabbit on the stand. He had no energy to move or the will to face the whole of our people as he was surrounded. Adolph hands me a very sharp stone which I raise with my right hand. ¡°Let this ritua signify the burning will of our people and long standing with the sun god!¡± I cut the rabbits stomach open killing him. Adolph walked in a sauntering manner and activated his magical prowess of flame, and burned the rabbit. Herbs and leaves that would multiply the fires anger were placed on top of the sacrifice. ¡°May the Hunds be bountiful and the this great city of uudNau everlasting!¡± Sigmund rejoiced.

The fire glowed a bright orange as if to show the sun god is pleased. The night continued until eventually everyone would return home and rest. As I walk I could see many of the houses have no been improved. At first the houses were made by us placing branches on the floor which we held with our teeth. The collection of branches would make usually a square and a collection of leaves and hide would be placed on top, some had no walls if any. However, now they were real tents, and some places even had clay collected from the eastern river and and blasted by fire.
THE NEXT MORNING, LANA POV As the boring council meeting continued and Sigmund spoke in his usual apathetic manner of the topics of the finishing of the eastern rivers bridge, and a new project which he called ¡®fortification¡¯ called to big a wooden wall of logs and towers, however he planned to make such a thing amazes me as some of us barely know how to make our own tents. Adolph now walked onto the stage, he was a funny man. So rude and decisive but also forgetful and silly at time. He never took no for an answer and was known to be a very strong man in combat, for that reason he led the hunters and never really participated in any things like meetings only now has he gotten so active. ¡°Hello comrades, it is my displeasure to tell you the rabbits have also gained the ability to walk on two legs, and even worse, they have gained a god of their own. They are also planning to mobilize in our territory and the power they hold is more than enough to do so. However we still have a chance! With the building of our eastern wall and inner city wall we can pick them off with these!¡± He said, showing a long shaft of wood with a pointed rock at its end, it was held together by plant fiber. The other object was weird, it was a bending piece of wood with a string connecting both ends, next to it was small pointed sticks, they did not have rocks as they were small and hard to make. Adolph held the object that he called a ¡®spear¡¯, it was taller than him by a few inches and he was a very tall Dober already. ¡°This spear will be used to stab and penetrate the enemy behind fortifications, and this bow will be used to attack enemies from afar, the arrows are scarce so only a specialized unit of beagles and a few talented individuals will be able to use them. That brings me to my next part¡­¡± He says. ¡°Me and Kaiser have been thinking, the hunters were never made to combat other forces. With the rise of the rabbits and possibly future forces¡­ We will be forming a organized army. The Army will be made up of Hunters, Infantry and Spearmen¡± He finished. Kaiser stepped in the middle of the platform and continued, sauntering steps and magnificent grace only added to his genius. ¡°All of this will be deployed shortly, also one of our members had a wonderful idea. I would like her to come up to the platform, Lana?¡± He said looking at me, I almost panicked but gained my composure and walked to the platform. ¡°Ahum, comrades..¡± I say looking around. Many of the council members were old and men, I represented the females of the village and families so I stood up proudly ignoring their glances. ¡°As more and more members join our faction everyday it is harder and harder to keep track of who is who, the other day¡­ Someone stole 4 caskets of fish. GUARD POV, 4 MONTHS AFTER THE CHANGE It was high noon when I heard the news of the child. I was ordered to patrol down the eastern wall front facing the river. Only 2 days after the completed walls and more than hundreds of us have signed up for the role of city and wall guard. But those numbers are insignificantly inferior to the numbers of the newly formed army. Prior hunters left to become part of the spearmen or infantry units, and the remainder stayed as hunters wielding newly made bows. 500 or so guard, and over 8 thousand army applicants! Such a force made the growing threat of the rabbit vermin less crucial and possibly in our favor. That still leaves around 10 thousand citizens to work on the land, produce products and other things key to our cities growth. ¡°Who¡¯s there?¡± A rough voice says above the wall. As I started to climb the newly cut ladder, still green with life cut from the nearby oak trees. I climbed up and meet the officer, he looked at me skeptically. Both of his eyes were blind due to a deep cut, that drew a horizontal line from ear to ear over his dark snout. Even with the loss of sight his senses worked perfectly sensing my exact position. ¡°It is me Officer Ernest, you must be High Officer Kolb?¡± I said. ¡°Yes, I have received message that you shall accompany me by this Eastern Wall. This is a dangerous task as the eastern wall does not only face the eastern river where we suspect the Cat fiends to be hiding but also stretches to the south. Bordering the Rabbit territory of Bremen as their refer to it.¡± He said as he sniffed me, it felt uncomfortable and I quickly back away. ¡°What are you doing if I may ask?¡± I ask ¡°Once I remember a scent, I¡¯ll never forget. You don¡¯t want me mistaking you for someone else.¡± He said in a dark tone, then quickly smiling. ¡°Loosen up haha!¡± High Officer Kolb was one of the strongest hunters and volunteered to protect the main wall also known as the Eastern wall. His presence alone was enough to defeat an ordinary enemy, but I was not an ordinary soldier. ¡°I understand High Officer Kolb¡­¡± I said. ¡°Please call me Kolby, you shall take honor only a few have been giving the right to do so.¡± He says in a cocky manner. ¡°Yes I understand.¡± I replied. ¡°Now, the guards positioned to this wall will be arriving in 2 or 3 hours, we will have an orientation as all the armies are having and commence shifts as soon as possible.¡± He said as he leaned over the wall looking into the river. His eyes didn¡¯t move but his head was following the scent of something not in my view. Quickly raising his hands a ball of fire formed, aiming his palms it blasted deep into the woods, curving between the trees at astonishing speeds and suddenly hitting a squirrel as it burned on impact. ¡°Pesky rabbits¡­¡± He said. I failed to inform him that was a squirrel, not a rabbit but was scared by this feat.
3 DAYS LATER, KAISER POV The Implementations of the Guard and Army forces have went smoothly, so smoothly I have suspicion the Sun God had something to do with it as he has taken a liking to us. The Ceremony offered many rewards, FIRE BLESSING increased to rank 2 making it vastly more potent and allowing things such as fireballs to be summoned, before the best mages could only set their hands aflame! The increase in faith also increased the chance of the magic being successful, users with low faith have a low chance of successfully establishing a spell. The last reward is troubling, a child has been born. Only a few months old and he posses higher talent than all other mages of the council. Unfortunately to make the matter worse he was born into a powerful hunter family, the Wraeclast Family. Since the implementations of surnames a lot of families have sprouted out of the city. The most largest ones being Geneva, Burtlin and Wraeclast. Geneva was a German shepherd family that made up most of the common people of uudNau. Two sides of the family existed, the common people and the more honorary members which held high titles. Lana is currently a part of this family as well as other council members. Burtlin was a Bull Mastiff family mostly made up of workers and craftsmen, their leader was no other than our very our Sigmund one of the 3 leaders of uudNau. The last Wraecast was a family of Dobermans, though some German Shepherds were in the mix. They had lot of power in the guard, army and hunting forces. This naming system has caused great unity and also disunion. The problem with the child, or ¡°Prophet¡± as his followers like to call him is he is extremely influential. I fear the day which he would oppose me, he is growing a quick temper and grows evermore spoiled. But the Sun God does this in our favor so I must hold on to faith that he does this to our greater good. Other changes were also occurring, as I walked throughout the city center developments could be seen. Most houses were made of wood now, with thatched roofs and some simple bricks. Sigmund has started making what he likes to call ¡°The Main Road¡± and it runs around the center city, to each outer rim of the city and to the 3 main walls. It sounded like a difficult task but it proved successful. Also the experimentation with a crude metal founded off the river basic where we get our clay, small amounts of iron. Not enough to improve our weapons or make to large amounts of ingots but enough for smaller things like nails. I walked to Adolfs camp right outside the walls, I was accompanied by 4 hunds that were extremely loyal. Adolf was gathering the main forces to try and exterminate a large amount of rabbits and possibly kidnap an important leader in the vermins community. This task proved difficult so only the best warriors came, while the rest trained and ran missions. This totalled our force to a little over 3 thousand but Adolf said not to worry. I reached the southern eastern wall, 100 guards were stationed here, some were sitting, others were sparring. 2 important figures descented, Officer Ernest and High Officer Kolb. ¡°Guards stand attention!¡± Barked Ernest. The Guards quickly became aware of my presence and knelt lowering their heads, the 2 officers doing the same. ¡°Yes Kolby, I am meeting with Adolf at his camp. I think he has informed you of the mission taking place¡­¡± I said, gesturing them to raise their head. ¡°Yes, I have received a detailed message of what is going to occur today. I have ordered more troops to move to this wall incase of enemy attacks.¡± He said. ¡°Wonderful, also I have heard you have became adept at fire magic perhaps you could teach me when I return.¡± ¡°Ahaha, yes you may have heard of it. I gained a skill called ¡®Breathless Incantation¡± which allows me to call the Sun God for my spells inside my head rather than speaking which is good for some situations, and a ¡°Custom Spell¡± called ¡°Tracker Fireball¡± which can change direction and velocity at will.¡± He said. Even though he was a young pup he had the body of a man. ¡°Great leader please let me accompany you!¡± He asked. My guard quickly thrusts the blunt side of his spear into the pups chest pushing him back. ¡°You dare interrupt, kneel pup!¡± A guard barked. ¡°It is okay Bewulf, let him speak.¡± I say, the pupling raises his head. ¡°Sir I wish to accompany you on this mission, even though I know I have been tasked at protecting this Eastern Wall, I long for a real fight. I am tired of fighting these weak solitary rabbits that wander.¡± He said rambling on. ¡°Alright pup I understand, this missions will be hard only the finest warriors can take on such a mission.¡± I said testing his confidence. ¡°If I may intrude Kaiser, this child is naive but great in talent. I think a taste of ¡­ real combat will straighten his discipline and sharpen his raw talent.¡± Said Kolby. ¡°Well If the great Kolby speaks in favor of this child, I will allow him to come.¡± I said. ¡°I Reiner Geneva, will not disappoint you!¡± He shouted in happiness.
2 HOURS LATER, ADOLF POV It was night, we were currently camping out in the woods, waiting for daylight. I was in my tent with Kaiser. He was currently training his magic, I was never one much for magic and had a low affinity. ¡°Adolf if you wish, I could show you some tricks to mastering magic?¡± He insisted. ¡°Thank you Kaiser, but even if I learned magic it wouldnt prove use to me on the battlefield do to my fighting style.¡± I replied. ¡°Hm, if you are right about the rabbits defences we should easily infiltrate them and use the fire magic to burn their farm fields. If you think about it, if we destroy their source of food they definitely cannot sustain their large population especially since harvesting season should be coming the the following months.¡± He said. ¡°Great idea, I will mention it in tommorows briefing.¡± I said as I sharpened my stone knife.
EARLY MORNING ¡°And that concludes the plans for our mission, it will take us 2 days to reach them so use your provisions correctly and live off the land as we move, there is plenty to hunt out in the Eastern woods. When we are to arrive burn everything you can, especially their farms.¡± ¡°Yes Commander!¡± The army shouted simultaneously. ¡°Move out!¡± I ordered and started the marching towards rabbit territory. As we marched I noticed the army¡¯s professionalism was truly great, they were well sorted into groups, and groups within groups. 3 men and 1 leader consisted of a party, 10 parties consisted of a group. 40 groups made up a Vanguard which was around 1600 people, there was 3 Vanguards. This Vanguard would then be grouped into one larger group called a Legion. It took a large amount of supplies and energy to move 3 thousand men throughout the dense forest, on the way many men got hurt from dangerous wildlife or dangerous obstacles but we managed to reach the plains. This area was vast with rolling vertile hills and flat plains, it was common to lose yourself as everything looked the same, just grass for miles on end. ¡°Enemy spotted!¡± Shouted one hunter running as fast as he could. ¡°What have you seen, are you going to blow hot air on the ground all day!¡± I said. In an angry tone as he laid on the ground holding his sides. ¡°My apologies Commander, but I have seen a force of 5 thousand men, mostly scouts. I overheard their conversation and they plan to map out our territory. From what I can tell they are planning something, and 5 thousand men are only a fraction of their power¡­¡± ¡°5 thousand men? That''s it? I can take 600 of my best men and destroy them, we shall push through and leave no witness¡­ Did they see you?¡± ¡°No but I got into an altercation with a rabbit scout, he stabbed me but I killed him and hid his body, we shall attack soon as some of my blood may have left my scent.¡± He said holding his sides, a dark crimson could be seen seeping between his fingers. ¡°Good job scout report to your officer and look for a healer.¡± I said. ¡°Men! Prepare for a charge, they shouldn''t be to far from here, the shock of our forces and superior strength shall destroy them in one sitting!¡± We quickly started marching towards the lake which the scout came from, they were on the opposite side of the lake and smoke from campfires could be seen. I signaled my officers to tell their men to be as quiet as possible, we would have to swim through the lake. I took lead and held my sword and bags on my head, by going through the lake it gave us a chance to surprise them. They most likely had all their sides except the one facing the lake protected by scouts. We finish crossing the river, and put mud on our clothes and skin hiding our scent. The rabbits had a good nose but they had better sense of hearing. I spotted the first campfire, 3 more could be 20 metres away. ¡°Have you seen Grzegors, he should of returned by now.¡± Said a young rabbit scout. ¡°Ah that idiot is always wandering! We are to wait here until the main force 10 thousand men are to arrive tonight.¡± Another one said, he was much older. This was incredibly bad, before I could asses the situation, the older rabbit stood up and his nose and ears twitched. ¡°I smell a familiar scent, and it isn¡¯t your cooki-¡± I signaled an archer to shoot him, the arrows quickly penetrated his chest. His friend was in shock looking for the trajectory of the arrow. ¡°Infantry Charge!¡± I ordered showing our position. The main infantry charged into the enemy camp, we managed to kill a lot of men as they were resting in their tents. ¡°Do not damage anything, and do not let anyone escape!¡± I ordered. My spear thrusted through 3 charging rabbits at the same time, letting go of the spear I stab another rabbit behind me not giving him chance to finish his surprise attack.

HUNTER POV ¡°Fire at will!¡± My officer commanded. I notch a wooden arrow into my crude bow, I was close to a promotion. I personally believed I had the best aim in the archer unit but one could differ. I let go out the string and watch the arrow leave, wobbling side to side before finding its destination, a rabbits head. A young group of rabbits charge towards our archery unit, I loaded 3 arrows into bow and aimed it horizontally. The spread was enough to kill 3, the other archers quickly started copying my technique. A stray arrow passes just inches from my face but I kept my cool, I could see a few rabbit archers aiming at our leader Kaiser. I set my arrow tip on fire and shot their oil jar which they kept to manually light their arrows on fire. The explosion killed 5 rabbits and damaged the surrounding ones. A surviving enemy archer sends a shot at me, by pure instincts I managed to deflect the arrow with one of my one surprising him, quickly another arrow is accompanied killing him. ¡°Finish them off!¡± A young pupling ordered even though he had no rank, he was simply just a guard. But he was stronger than the rest and had a weird aesthetic to his appearance, black hair. What was weird about his fur was a light tint of blue. He cut down away at one of the rabbit officers quickly killing him. Quickly threw arrows shot pass my stomach one wissing past my temple, I quickly regain my focus and took cover by a tree. We have now destroyed more than two thirds of their forces and surrounded them. I grab the branch above me and quickly vaulted to the higher branches. Reaching the top of the tree I had a good, in the middle of the enemy force was a campfire currently being guarded with an important figure, applying oil to my arrow tip I shot at the fire causing an explosion. I was quickly running out of arrows, I used my last 3 to try and attack the leader but failed. As I held the cut on my left shoulder, I applied the red paste on it which numbed the pain. Something was different about that leader and I could sense it.
ADOLF POV, 10 MINUTES LATER I push throw their defence with swift speed, my attacks were just blurs and shifting figures as I pierces and slashed through the rabbits defending the officer. He was probably of high importance and for that reason his head was mine. Not far behind me was Kaiser he was adept at magic and overed cover for sneaky figures. The casualty rate was unsuspectingly low, only being in the single digits. The fate of the system simply does not favor them as they have had plenty of chance to grow in strength, their prior forms were simply inferior to ours. A group of strange looking rabbits chanted in their shrill runic language, suddenly a blinding light was all over the expanse of the forest and blinded all my forces. The enemies seemed to not be affected by it. ¡°Warrior, kill them. That treacherous women has pained me long enough¡± A voice in my head said, his voice sounded old but healthy, it was clear. The Sun God spoke to me, he decided i should be the one to end these vermins and to that I take great honor. These rabbits were naive if they think the loss of mere sight would help them escape, they were loud and breathed heavily and smelled of their own feces and sweat. I leave the rabbit mages for the rest charging between them with blinding speed. I was running on four paws, I had no more weapons left. The rabbit officer of commendable talent ran to attack but I quickly bit him on the neck holding him in place as he suffocated, he tried to resist my hold on him but I quickly shake him and set him aflame by concentrating fire on my fangs snap his neck. This sight lowered the enemies moral and made some of them even spoil themselves, there was their leader gone in mere seconds.

¡°Alright clean this up as best as you can, and burn all the bodies, eat some if you feel the need!¡± I ordered. ¡°Yes Sir!¡± They replied. The reason I did this was to not make it obvious we have destroyed their forces, I was planning on intercepting the remainder of the scouting party, when they came at night. It will still be obvious that they were attacked but they would also investigate giving me time to surround them with my troops. As for the results of the fight major achievements were made. Many of us have reached new levels which are very hard to achieve after level 10. 3 other people reached level 15, allowing them to pick a class. Most notable of them is a young pup named Bewulf and a hunter that calls himself Snipe. The 2 others are obviously me and Kaiser.
CLASS OPTIONS AVAILABLE: 1. Battle Commander (Rare) - You are a natural leader and can lead your troops effectively while also participating in battle. 2. Champion (Uncommon) - You are well versed in a wide array of weapons allowing you to use any in any situation. 3. Spear Sage (Rare) - You are a master of spear techniques and use powerfull swift attacks to kill your enemies. 4. Spearmen (common) - You are adept at the use of polearms and spears.
Well that is interesting, I would have assumed this would have premade choices that were the same for everyone. But it seems just as the levels it distributes depending on your style. Options 4 and 2 were out of the question, and also 3 was tempting. Nevertheless 1 was the best choice. I click on it and do not feel very different.

LATER ON THAT NIGHT My nose picked up a scent as I layed on my fur bed. The rest were sleeping, only a few were awake as they took the night shifts. I quickly tell the officers to wake their troops and surround the enemy force. ¡°Officer I want you to take your men and that young guard with the class to surround them while I distract them¡± I whisper, he gives me a nod of approval. The officer wasn¡¯t a incredible fighter but had dirty tactics and shock value, he was adept at ambushing and surprising his enemies with the help of that young pupling it should be an easy task. I gather the remaining officers and troops. The archers hid in the trees arrows ready, the rest of us hid in the enemies tents, behind trees and under large rocks. It wouldn''t be long before they notice something was occuring. I heard footsteps, not ours. The depth of the sound was lower and had significantly less weight, soon thousands of them could be heard marching. It was them, not more then 120 metres from us they were coming to rendezvous with their friends. I signal the archers, as soon as they were to shoot the ambushing forces would join in on the fight while the main force charged. ¡°Adolf I don¡¯t have a good feeling about this, I can¡¯t explain it but I feel some sort of mana signature from that mass of enemies.¡± Kaiser whispered to me. I give him a nod but I believed in my ability to beat a measly rabbit even if he was the strongest of them all what can he do? ¡°Archers fire at will!¡± Quickly you could hear archers taking their aim and shooting at rapid speeds, the wind buzzed as the arrow tips pierce through the air reaching their destined targets. The rain of arrows were too much for the rabbit and some retreated, quickly the shock troop intercepted some of the escapees and engaged in combat. ¡°Charge!¡± I ordered. I led the charge holding six spears, the heavy rush of our over 2000 troops made a dense fog of dust and grass I quickly lung 3 spears one after the other, the power of the throw made it go through several rabbits before losing speed and sticking to a tree. Dual wielding the spears I eliminate everything in my path, suddenly a beam of light struck me in the chest stinging me. It was too fast to trace or react to. Grabbing an enemy I use him as a shield as I was trying to see the source of the attack. In a short amount of time these magic spells changed the pace of the fight. I concentrate mana as best as I could to my eyes as Kaiser taught me, I could see the mana signatures fluctuate deep into their right side, it was a group of 30-35 mages. Never have I seen so much mages in one spot, being adept at magic was rare but here they were. ¡°Men flank their right side, destroy their mages!¡± I ordered. Almost instantly the rabbit mages casted a blinding spell, but that trick wouldn''t work twice on me. I continue to charge unaffected. For every swing of my spear 3 to 5 rabbits would be seen flung into the air, i finally penetrate their defences and find the mages. Kaiser finally caught up to me and started casting a spell. I feel power surging through me and my wounds closed, I lunged at the rabbits at the peak of my jump throwing my spear killing 2 mages. Still in mid air 3 fireballs could be seen flying past my head killing some mages. I land while striking my spear downwards lacerating a rabbit mage. Some of my troops finally managed to reach the battle now, but the remaining 20 or so mages continued their onslaught of magic.
KAISER POV These mages are so formidable, and that mana signature I sensed early is nowhere near here. We are short on time and our men are slowly becoming exhausted from the long journey and consecutive battles. I needed something new, a more powerful attack. Fireball and Ignite were the only skills our mages knew, except for custom skills some would develop. I quickly got an idea, the beams of light were fast, it seemed to be their natural property. I saw an arrow wissing by¡­ An arrows property is fast, piercing. The idea formed, and I manifested it into the world with magic. I somehow made an arrow, which looked more like a large 76 centimeter toothpick. It was made entirely out of fire and costed a lot of mana to cast. I point it at a mage and quickly it pierced the mage leaving only a burnt hole where his stomach and bowels use to be. The other mages look at me with excitement and confusion but I order them to pay attention.

BEWULF POV I clenched my left arm as it bled, this rabbit was clever and stronger than all the others I¡¯ve ever faced. He was strange looking too, instead of the normal beige short coat he had long black fur, His eyes were squinted and sharp, and his front teeth extremely long. Not to mention his body was not that of a normal Bremen rabbit. He had long hind legs and long arms that mad his torso look short in comparison. He smiled which had no warmth in it, just creepy malice. I raise both my axes showing him I was fearless of his games and charged at him. I will not lose! ¡°Quit young Hund, you are too weak for me. But I do commend you for lasting this long how did you do it.¡± He said raising his dagger. ¡°Ever heard of a class, I have the uncommon class ¡°Berserker¡± let me show you a taste of its power!¡± Both of my axes collide with his dagger, the impact mad his grip loosen enough to drop it. My wound quickly healed, it seemed to do that if I had enough mana and adrenaline. ¡°Do not underestimate me, you are the one to lose today!¡± I said as my axe collided with his collar bone, before it could impact though something seemed to stop it. A shadow like fog substance surrounded my axe pushing it back. ¡°Huh? Aughh¡­ What are you doing¡± I say struggling. ¡°Sorry but you are the one dying today¡­ Don¡¯t say I didn¡¯t warn you.¡± Another dark fog came from his free hand slowly reaching my throat and surrounded it choking me and holding me still in the air. I let go of my 2 axes and try to rip the dense dark fog off of my throat. But even with my strength and vigor I could not seem to do anything to it. I could sense the blood trying to reach my head but failing, my eyes slowly turned red. Fuick! Quickly a spear flew by but was stopped by the dense fog which was becoming larger than anticipated and now surrounded the weird rabbit like a shield. ¡°Looks like someone is interrupting our fun¡­¡±
