《Reverse Fantasy online》 Chapter 1: Damn trolls Damn, I hate waking up in the morning.Its really annoying but itcan''t behelped. The apartment that iminis rundown with nearly everything working improperly. I work at 2 dead-end jobs at a coffee shop and as a waiter at a small restaurant. Both give decent pay and you can almost say that I am just a regular guy. I have nothing to really show that im important in my life. I have nearly nothing to look forward to in life except for the most The absolute most glorious thing that everybodyshould beable to stop and enjoy VR gaming. You have not experienced life until you play as a guy riding a dragon or fighting your way thru hordes of enemies .you haven''t experienced greatness until your piloting a mech on the ground shooting and killing people from armies across the galaxy. Well, of course, I haven''t played any of the games myself yet but I have the friend who was a beta tester for 2 or three of the games coming out this year, and those were their words he said. Ohcrap, it''s about time for me start leaving for my shift at work. dammit waking up at 5 am just so Ican beon time to work. I hate this. Nearly everybody hates to work in my opinion. (except for the weirdos) alright, no time to eat il just have to leave. oh crap, I forgot to put in cloths. after putting on my work clothes Istarted jogging to work.of course, I could just take the bus or a cab. But because I like to save money and I need the exercise (mostly save money thou >.< Well, the exercise is apparently needed for the game youmay bewondering why do you haft to exercise just to play a game. My friend told me all about the process of entering thevrgame. he told me to get some exercise becauseonce you get into thevrpod to play the game your body stays still for a couple of hours so your super stiff. which is why I need to move my body a lot apparently.I don''t wanna look super buff thou no need to look like a muscle head.I kinda look fit thou I am skinny im like 5 ''10 I could probably take on somebody my size I hope.( we all know I couldn''t) after jogging for about an hour I''m finally here and as usual, this placeis packed. After getting off of work which starts at 6:30 am and ends at 4pmI have an hours break before I have to get my other job so I just walked down to the gaming store where Igot to see the game that I wanted the game that boasted it was the best fantasy game of all time and of course since it''s a VRMMORPGit''s gonna be way better .I like fantasy games plus its gonna be one ofthe 8vrgames coming out next week well, I already bought the gaming pod which should come in sometime this week . From what I''ve heard and read about The game reverse fantasy online R.F.O it has two sides to it the adventurers and the monsters. The monsters cost way less to play and if you want to play as the adventurers you have to pay an absurdly high amount we can all tell that one sidewas meantfor normal and poor people while the other side of the coursewas meantfor the rich and rich only. I''m a little angry about that because I wantedto bean adventurer but what does makes me happy is that I''m gonna be able to kick all the rich ass I want which shall be fun (coughcoughhe wouldn''t be able to affordto bean adventurer anyway because he spent all his money on theVrpod) After hanging around the game store for a bit I went to my next job at the restaurant got my clothes out of my locker and started to work as a waiter. I got off at 9:00 pm and started to walk homedamn people are cheap if I barely got any tips today. when I got home the only thing I could think of was taking a long shower.I ran up the stairs to my 1 bedroom home there''s nothing really in my house. To elaborate on what I read reverse fantasy online is a game where players have a choice between being the monsters or being the adventures. I yelled out reverse fantasy online than the big screen with reverse fantasy online came towards me. I tapped on it and got transferred directly to another place where. an old man was sitting. He was like a giant he wore a toga with sandals had a great big beard and gray hair.After waiting for about a minute the old man finally noticed me and motioned for me to go over to him after I got close he smiled and said " welcome world traveler this is the planet ofglavoteranow follow me to become one of the greatest heroes in the world" I was super confused for a second but then I understood what he was trying to say o so I had to tell him " umm sir I''m not hereto bea hero I''m here to a be a monster and kill the heroes. as soon as I said that his face turned into one of anger he started to yell things like why the hell do I keep on getting other world travelers that want to be a monster it''s so disgusting. he then walked up to me with clear anger in his eyes in his eyes. he calmed down then walked towards me after a while he bent down to my face level and said " well good luck beast" he did something totally unexpected next and smackedme into the ground with such a force that Iwas senttumbling down thru the ground where I stood before. I stopped midair and I was in another room though this time there smaller guy he looked younger than the old guy but still had that old man vibe to him he wore a slick black suit, He hadredskin and horns, hahaha he looked like a nicely dressed devil. he was probably like 6 feet maybe a little taller (He hit didn''t hurt much it was just like mental pain) he then started talking to me with indifference "ah yes another one millions of you have come today well you don''t look special but maybe you can get stronger"hahahawell we all know the rules of the universe. There was a lot of races that showed up in the text some of them were locked because too many players chose them or there were some that had question marks where their name was supposed to be but because I really didn''t know what race I wanted I just chose random as soon as I chose randomly the guy behind me spoke Mephistopheles was his name (Mephistopheles) interesting you chose randomly most people spend hours searching for a monster. well i won dissapoint u with what monster you chose hahahaha...ok my time to talk to you is gonna be short so before you can ask any questions this is how it is gonna be for the first week of your worlds time (21 days) our worlds time you will be assigned a race if you cannot survive 21 days as your race and you die you will have to choose another weaker race if all of your race dies than that race will not be in the game anymore and will have to be unlocked by a series of quest or other ways . hmm what else aww ok . just so you know the stronger your race the harder it will be to survive the 21 days . oh and the most important after 21 days of survivial the game will kick you out of it for one hour when you come back it will be about a thousand or so years into the future if your race survived and you survived you can come back to that race as with a little boost or you can go to another one . if you died you might be able to go back to that race if its not special welll good luck and have fun world traveler . (me) as soon as he said that I saw light forming around me and I was transported but before I could do anything I saw blue screen pop in front of my face.

Its back legs were slashed open it had arrows sticking out of it and one of its eyes was completely missing. it looks terrible. in all honesty I think just a regular old kick will kill it. The beast stood up perking its ears towards the entrance of the cave.I guess it could hear them too. it got up like it was about to fight. but then it noticed me under it. it started to speak and strangely I could understand it. (Beast) Hello younglings i can see your all very scared i understand you can hear them as well i sorry to say that i wont be able to defend you for long not anymore the rest of the clan all fought to the death to ry and protect you I will try and save you so be prepared for whats going to happenI had heard her say younglings but I couldnt see any more cubs besides myself well it would help if I could actually turn my head it than picked me up with its mouth I closed my eyes I didn''tfeel any of my body getting slowly eaten.so I opened them back up again I noticed that thelarge monster was now holding me like a lionwould holdher cub.once I was firmly in place it also picked up 3 other cubswowi just noticed something all of us have little scorpion tails on the back of us of course I cant move it than the beast started to limp/ run toward the back of the cave I was wondering what it was doing why was it running away from the only exit but then I saw a very small passageway at the back big enough to fit me and the others. at this moment I was super thankful . for what the bigger monster was doing we were just a further away from the exit. But just before we could reach the passageway through an arrow hit the back of the wolfs leg. causing it to fall and sending me and the others tumbling outwards I saw the light directly in front of me but I could move my body I was stuck in a position where I could do no more than hear the great fear of death lingering behind me.I struggled to turn my head and looked back over to the left of me where the wolf thing was and its leg was completely gone like it wasn''t there. if the beast wasn''t bound to die last time it was now . after thinking for a little while a group of six appeared out of thin air right beside it. or they were just so fast I couldn''t actually see them. from what i can see these guys must have had a fight with this beast or the others before because looking at them there were scratches and bite marks some places plus a few holes in their equipment meaning that the scorpion tail got them as well but comparing them to the beast a few feet away I could tell they would survive their encounter with it. A black figure came over towards me.He had pointy ears and was tall. I think he''s an elf. wow never seen a black elf in games, haha this game is breaking barriers lol. ahh back to the situation the elf picked me up and started to toss me around in the air while laughing. Like had just caught a mouse and was playing with it before he killed it. That made me so angry why can''t I move my damn body. then the guy stopped throwing me and caught me by the neck and pulled out a small hunting knife. He threw it up in the air caught it and stabbed it down towards me. The beast saw this and opened its eyes in anger it shot its Scorpion tale like a bullet at the guy. It hit the guys leg he yelled and dropped me like a ragdoll. I fell to the ground with a big thump again this is the third timeI have fallen onto the ground the other five members of the party ran over to the beast stabbing it in the head killing it I don''t know why but I got super angry after that like I was boiling from the inside I was angry because I got a dumb quest I couldn''t move my own body, I was helpless in this situation, and the beast that was protecting me died in front of me protecting my life. at that moment something inside of me forced me to get on my four legs I roared in defiance of this world. it wasn''t a big roar but it was sizable enough to get most of the people''s attention on me. I then ran towards the guy that got his leg pierced and swept my paw fiercely at him causing the claws make a scar from his forehead down and across his eyes and to his chin. after doing that I started to tumble run toward the little exit. I wasn''t really thinking about the others hell I don''t even know if there humans or NPCsI just know that this is a world ruled by the strongand if you aren''t strong than your weak. Why is running on all 4s so hard come on just keep running never look behind you just keep running, when I got to the little hole I heard the rest of the group running after me. I looked back dammit I saw that 2 of the others were dead I didn''t see the other one until I looked towards my left. he was lagging just behind me. I ran into the small tunnel with the other guy directly behind me. once we got out of the small tunnel I saw a beautifulworld the night looked genuinely wonderful but I couldn''t stop to admire this scene I knew that sooner or later the group would try and chase us than I started to hear banging coming from the cave of crap there gonna tunnel thru the cave alright keep on running the other guy heard too and started running the same way as me. After a good 45 minutes of running, I stopped hearing the sounds of booms oh crap that means they either got thru or found another way both options bad. dammit I thought I could lose them I kept on running I can smell them they''re approaching fast looking back oh god they are already here the group is getting closer how am I supposed to get away. no don''t think of anything bad just keep running don''t stop don''t turn back. after a minute or so of running a female with bunny ears suddenly appeared right in front me I tried to move over towards the left but the guy beside me was there Then I took a chance and ran straight thru her legs which surprisingly worked even the other guy escaped thru her legs as well.I think we only got thru because she thought I was running towards her to attack she was dumbstruck for a good 5 seconds. but that was all I needed I looked ahead where there was a steep incline I also heard something like running water but that doesn''t matter I now know the way out now there is a cliff just a few feet away. once I got close to it I jumped off of it the other guys did the exact same thing as me and when I saw what was below it I paled it was a raging river before I could even think of anything else an arrow from back in the woods shot at me hitting me dead center in the chest area i think and like that, I lost conciseness i think i saw the other got hit as well we both fell into the river like ragdolls .

Chapter 3 the decision Crap im still super hungry whoever knew that getting out of pod after a few hours would make you hungry enough to eat 2 burgersand a big fry and still be hungry. damnnever knew howclose this burger place was to the apartment I would have come here for cheap ass burgers every day well maybe not everyday I gotta eat some ramen noodles I mean nearly every day. ok, im not that healthy but I gotta be on a tight budget,ahh I have just finished eating the food I paidmy rent I don''t have work today what the hell am I supposed to for the next hour and a half I had my sights on play reverse fantasy online. but I won''t be able to play that for a little while due to being kicked out of it for mental issues. all I want is to be able to get back in the game and kill the guys that tried to kill me is that too much to ask like come on killing them right now is all I want to do but I know I won''t be able to they are way to high leveled and at the end of the week the game is skipping ahead a thousand years or so I just I wish I could have heard their names or something . Getting revenge is kinda what MMORPGsare about. ah well, I can go out into the world and meet people pff nahhthat was a really funny joke. But what im more worried about at this moment am I read on the forums that when you log out of the game and your unconscious or asleep your body just stays there not even the NPC can move your body.so its recommended that you find a safer or hidden place to hide your body because if you don''tyou''ll most likely get killed in your sleep literally which is usually not a good thing just saying well I hope im still alivebecause I don''t think I actually have completed my quest I got knocked out before I actually got to see what happened . What im actually having trouble with. is something that I read off of the forums as well. people with easier trials since they have weaker races have started to come together to try and attack the monsters that are alone or the big bad monsters.I really don''t wanna wake up somebody else''s lunch that would suck and then I would have to respawn as a weaker race which I really don''t wanna do oh I''ve also read up on some other things like when your species complete the set amounntof quest they receivethe game ask the species for votes on what to do in the future for their species like if they grow wing if they turn into beast kin but with every perk comes a detriment that you have to pick like cant equip heavy armor or your people go on a blood rage every month ect. theirs also the possibility that your speciesbreaks off into different villages/clans and have different perks and detriments, If enough people like the pro''s and con''s (most are gonna choose this just so ya know ) Of course, this is just the forums so don''t know if that really happens. but if its true I can''t wait since im the only player for my race presumably I would be the one that makes all the choices . { alright, guys, that''s the end of this chapter sorry it''s so short that''s my bad but your gonna have to answer the poll at the top what do you want the main character to do have an instant growth or have progressive growth. oh and btw this will drastically change the begging of the story the middle will probably be the same and the end will probably be not affected at all } Oh and here''s a picture of the what the main characters wolf form kinda looks like he''s a little bit darker actually but whatever Chapter 4: How to survive After stretching out for a little while I started watching tv for the next hour maybe an hour an half, once I was done doing that and the time for me being locked out of the game was gone I hopped right back into the pod put the mask on secured it and pressed that green button again.Falling asleep and waking back up in the game room which currently has only one game in it making it look prettybarren.( note to self-get more money buy more games) I chose the only game in the room Reverse fantasy online and was transported back into the world but everything was dark until I saw a blue light flash up on my face.

Well since the system welcomed meback as a monster that means im not dead well I can feel something like salt on me but I can''t really do anything ahh whatever, it did say im just unconscious but how long have I been unconsciousfor. Well, 3 days in this world is one day in mine which . means 21 days is about a full week in my world and doing simple math 8 hours in real life is a game day in this world. aha which means 2 hours in my world is about 6 hours in game time. Whatever you know what math is not one of my strong points im just gonna go with 6 hours I''ve been basically asleep for 6 hours and im still alive that''s a damn miracle. After contemplating on my math skills and whats happening as of right now in the outside world started to wake up from my sleep like state. my eyes were openand my body hurt like hell there wasn''tany long arrow sticking out of me but I think the only reason for that is becausethe raging river broke it off which is good and bad in its own right good becauseI don''t have to worry about taking it out my self but bad because the metal piece is still stuck inside me . I would remove it but that would cause bleeding which I don''tthink I can fix as of right now. as I startedto look around I noticed an acute pain coming from my head damn I must have gotten a minorconcussion or something. whatever anyhow the only thing I see around me right now is desert which actually makes no since we come from a forested mountain right how in the hell did I get into a desert whatever mark there are more pressing matters to attend to like how I don''tsee the other wolf around me anywherewhere is it damn my side hurts like a mother fuc*er. alright, let me check my status.

im not gonna second guess the system but I don''t think anything should be able to walk right after they''re born how the hell is that even possible. Another thing is, this system is strange I think its uprading itself or something maybe it''s like updating itself to my actions because Idon''t remember there being a description bar for the skill tab or the title system nor do I remember having stamina or anything else. Damn, this is giving me a migraine all want to do is to find a safe place to rest and the easiest way to do that is following the river if I follow it up the presumably sooner or later I would end back up where I started that''s where the hunters are. Welp, that''s not for me the next option I going down the river leading deeper into the desertwhere im easily seen. actually, I blend in with the sand pretty nicely well my fur any plus I can put my tail in the sand I have to. Well away from the scary adventures its is ( you may be asking how he knows if he is still being chased he hasn''t officially finished his quest yet which means he hasn''t escaped the adventures fully yet )as I got up . off the ground and started shambling my way down towards where the river was flowing. after steadily walking down the river I heard something making noise and when I saw who it was I was relieved ( that he wasn''t about to get eaten).Right across the river was the beast just like himself. It looked really beat up just as much as me but with a limp to its step. I know for fact that I cant get across the river to him and I think they know as well so we both started to stutter step down the river.The narrative has been taken without permission. One with an arrowhead stuck inside his body while the other one had an arrowhead stuck in its leg. both looked terrible like just a wind could knock them over without much difficulty. Those damn adventures are the one who killed them and her . i shall have my revenge but for now i am to weak to do anything. i lived in a great clan who all loved and helped each other we were a rather small clan with only about 2000 members in this area but what we lacked in numbers we made up for in strength . I was born 5 years ago in a generally peaceful period that all stopped when the adventures started to come. wealways thought there were few of them but theyy must have been hiding there numbers because hundreds of them started coming out of no where. like they just appeared out of thin air . at first this wasnt a problem becuase we were way stronger than them but the problem was with how they killed what we eat . We as a society where getting . desperate for food becuae they were murdering all the food sources sometimes just for fun not even eating it themselves, Becuase of this we started to raid the settlements nearby to get their fod which they werent happy by. They started to send adventures and we kept killing them each time getting a little bit weaker as a clan because they kept killing one or two us. It was going great until we noticed something no matter how many times we killed the adventures they came back even stronger. tey was sent from the god of light.Eventually we got so weak we started to hide but they kept finding us until we arrived here this cave the patriarch of the family put up a valiant fight but he died taking about 30 or 40 of them with him, while the matriarch was angry she couldn''t do anything to stop them due to her injuries from the last fight and her giving birth . whatever was left of the family was dead from other encounters or had run away. I was beside mother ( the matriarch ) while she was in the cave I didn''t want our family to end.I wanted it to be back to the old days where I could enjoy a hunt with my dad kill a few lizard people with uncle or big brother. I was sitting there crying while mother was hurting. but then I heard these words from my mom " don''t cry little one how will you be a big brother if you cry all the time hahaha o want you to be able to protect them you are the last of our family.I can see it in your eyes you don''t want to become the patriarch, this is fine. out if all the kids here one of them will bring this family back to greatness what I need you to do is protect them, your now the protector.

When the adventures finished killing my father they started to rush into the cave my mother mustered the strength and picked us up taking, Us towards the back of the cave.Im not gonna lie I survived my encounter with the adventures completely due to luck. When my motherdropped me and the others they got knocked out or just couldnot move due to how they were just born. I was frozen in fear while looking at the adventures that just popped up right their. I didn''t expect them to get herethat fast and the fierce aura they gave off was comparable to that of my dads. Iwatched as mother stabbed the man in his leg with her stinger paralyzing him and dropping one of the babies he was holding. Then I saw the adventures run over to where mother was and killed her after looking around in fear, my legs were firmly stuck in place I heard a roar off to my right.My little brother that she dropped. Not a particularly fierce roar but it was strong-willedand a roar of determination. He knocked me out of my stupor and surprisingly I could move again. I looked at my little brother as He ran towards the injured man in my mind this was the end for him he was dead but out of all expectation, he slashed the man''s face and turned towards the back exit. I knew from that moment on he would be the one that could carry out my revenge and bring our clan back from near death. All I need to do is protect him, and in turn, he will lead us to a better age. So I followed him while he was running towards the exit, out of the cave until he noticed me just to the left of him. we both looked a little happier once we got outside. that was only for a split second thought until we started to hear the dreaded sound of the wall behind us breaking. he started running towards the forest with me right behind him after a while they caught up to us one even got in front of us we ran in between her legs thou I even got to bite her as we ran past this is where everything went to hell we were running out of places to go and the best thing we could do was jump off a ledge into a river because of some damn archer after jumping into the water though . I noticed an arrow sticking out of me I couldn''t do anything to quell the pain especially since I would probably bleed out if I took out of me.Looking over too my right I see the other guy with i\his eye closed he must be knocked out. damn, Iwould rather not drown wanna drown ok hold onto him that''s all I have t do hold onto push him above the water. Lok=oking ver to my right I see a floating log it was big enough to rest him on it while I hang on my self. All I have to do is keep him alive and keep going down this river away from the adventures trying to kill us. I know I want to kill them.But today im weak another day I will be strong.
