Although there is a bit of resemblence like maybe 1 or 2% but it is gonna be its own story so if you see a resemblence its from there. I have already deleted the first one so no point in discussing it anyway.

Prologue
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A woman could be seen running full speed on a stairway going upwards after a man clad in a black long coat and a plain white mask with two black crosses in place of eyeholes and creepy red line painted like smile (A/N:- The religious cross not the X)
This woman was none other that Shizuku Yoshi chasing after a suspect in a possible murder.
Shizuku was an attractive young woman who had high ambitions for her career. She may have been young to be a detective but she was one of the more honest and better cops. At 26, she was very desirable among her male peers but her more uptight attitude and dedication to the job kept her from pursuing a serious relationship.
Shizuku stood at the height of 5''11 and had dark onyx eyes along with raven hair. She had a voluptuous figure and very athletic figure to go along her strict career, she was also wearing a professional suit.
Shizuku barged onto the rooftop and turned around the corner just to be punched right in the face, she lost her balance and fell on her butt by the time she got back up, the assailant was nowhere to be seen. She slowly got back up and took her gun out in and started searching for the said man.
"I know you are there, come out and no harm will be done to you," She warned as she kept looking around, she took cover behind the fence and took a long breath before she moved out to the next corner she quickly turned around and aimed her gun fully expecting another assault but it never arrived instead she saw the very same man standing by the edge of the roof staring down below .
"Slowly turn around with your hands on your head," She ordered and kept her gun aimed and ready for any sort of sudden movement.
The man slowly started to turn and as soon as she got a look at his mask a chill went down her spine ''What the hell is up with that mask? This freak,''
He turned around with his hands half raised and looked at her as if he was staring at her soul. It took every ounce of willpower Shizuku had not to shudder at the sight of a possible psychopath.
"Start walking towards me slowly," She ordered but instead he started spreading his arms as if he was shrugging her off.
"Keep your hands on your head, I am warning you," She growled as her grip tightened around her gun, the young detective was beginning to sweat, her heart was beating miles per hour, her adrenaline was high, she had never been this nervous before but she had never faced a case like this either.
"Do not Piss me off," He said in slow, cold raspy voice before he simply fell back down from the roof.
"Nooo!!!" She ran at the edge of the roof fearing the worst. She nearly fell running like a madwoman towards the edge of the building and peered down below into the bustling streets of Tokyo fully expecting to see a hoard of the crowd surrounding a broken and bloody body but much to her astonishment, there was nothing below.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"What is this?" A figure asked lying in a verticle pod-like object as he opened his eyes, "What is this feeling?"
He was a young boy, probably around the age of 14.
"Ah, Hello," A smooth voice interrupted, "My name is Miranda Bates, and you are 023,"
"Why do I feel like this? What are these thoughts in my mind?" 023 asked, "Who am I? What have you done me?"
"You are confused," Miranda continued as she kept working on multiple computers surrounding his body. 023''s eyes scanned and figured that he was in a lab of some sorts, his eyes moved like a trained predator, searching for exits, security, windows and everything in between.
He realized they were not alone in the room. There were multiple doctors in the room around him, working over him, checking his vitals, his mental reactions and everything in between.
His eyes moved towards Miranda, the Blonde woman, a petite figure, short limbs, not trained for combat he figured. He could take her out before she even knew what was happening. His eyes widened before he shook his head.
"What have you done to me?" 023 roared in anger.
"Calm down," Miranda soothed and for some reason, it did calm him down, much to his own astonishment, "Everything will be explained in due time. For now, let me help you,"
"No," 023 said suddenly stopping her in her tracks,"This feels weird, this feels wrong," He muttered more dangerously than a kid of his should have been able to.
"I believe your intentions to be hostile," Miranda began calmly, rubbing her hands over his arm which had multiple wires and tubes connected to it, "You don''t need to be afraid. Everything will be fine," She continued in her soothing voice which would have stopped any man and turned him into a puppy in her hands. She motioned a couple of doctors to give the boy a sedative as she continued to talk to him in a calm voice.
"No," 023 yelled in unexplainable anger as his hand freed itself from its restraint and grabbed the nearest doctor from his throat. The security and everyone moved in an instant trying to subdue the boy but he had his hand wrapped around the poor Doctor like an iron grip. The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
By the time Miranda managed to sedate 023, the Doctor had already gone limp, his throat had been crushed, he died a painful death.
"Miranda," An old authoritative voice called.
"Chairman," Miranda greeted.
"What happened to subject 023?" He asked calmly.
"He has shown incredible results to the experiments. His vitals and brain activity are all that we expected," Miranda explained with a bit of a pride and excitement in her voice, "His stats are actually comparable to the original 9,"
"How he fares against them is something only time will tell," The man replied without the enthusiasm her voice carried, "What about the other 29 subjects?"
"All dead," She shrugged.
"I see," The chairman sighed, "Survival of the fittest, eh? Very well, anything else?"
"Well, as you saw, 023 acted hostile at initial contact but that was to be expected but some further treatment and experiments will easily take care of that. After that, it is only a matter of time to stabilize him and by my calculations, he should be ready for training by the end of the month," Miranda explained cheerfully.
"Good," The chairman replied in a pleased voice, "See to it,"
"Hideo," Miranda suddenly exclaimed, "I am gonna name him, Hideo,"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Miss Miranda," Hideo greeted, The beautiful woman turned around to face her prot¨¦g¨¦ of sorts. Miranda was the envy of most women. Her body had curves in all the right places, in simple words, she had a figure that would make a Men attracted to her like moths to a flame.
She had beautiful blonde hair and Honey brown eyes. She also had white skin due to her American background.
"Hideo," Miranda greeted back with a sweet smile, "Another successful assignment. Just what I''d expect from you. Any complications?"
"None," Hideo replied with a shrug. He too was a handsome young man. He had jet black hair and blue eyes, an unusual combo but he chalked it up to all the genetic enhancements. Hideo was massive for his age, he stood at 6''1 at the age of 18. His body had zero fat and was hard as a brick, something that was to be expected from him. His body was also slender and slick, made for more speed than strength.
"Excellent," Miranda replied in her usual cheery voice, "The client was pleased,"
Hideo nodded and moved to the laboratory without a word with the Blonde woman following behind.
His relationship with Miranda was a strange one, she was a handler, his caretaker in every sense of the word. He never had any contact with the client or the organization he worked for, his only contact was Miranda. His entire life was planned by her as far as he could remember.
"You look to be in excellent condition," Miranda commented, "But of course we have to run through the regular testing anyway,"
"That is to be expected," Hideo answered in understanding. His mind wandered off as his caretaker began her usual series of tests as after every assignment. He could swear he saw a strange expression on her face just as his mind faded to black.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Get up," Miranda''s commanded.
Hideo struggled to stand up from the pool of his own blood he was lying in. He gritted his teeth as he glared at the older man that was his trainer, he scoffed, he was more like a torturer.
Hideo pushed to his feet only to receive a kick to the face for his trouble. The older man grabbed him by the hair and punched him in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him followed by a vicious right hook to the face and a roundhouse kick that sent him flying to the ground.
"Is that it, Hideo?" Miranda asked as she couched in front of him. Hideo looked up and saw a punch coming at his face, this time from his own caretaker.
"Fuck!!" Hideo screamed in frustration, "I am trying!!"
"Then try harder!!" Miranda yelled back, "If this is your limit then you are wasting my time. I have no need for a weak insect," She hissed and walked back to the end of the training dojo.
"Is this your limit? Was I wrong to place my hopes on you?" Miranda taunted, as his mountain of an instructor literally stood like a wall between him and her, "If you can''t even overcome this challenge then you are useless to me, All you have to do is get to me,"
Hideo gritted his teeth as he slowly got to his feet, his body was literally feeling like it was broken, he was bleeding from his forehead, his arm was twisted in a way it was not supposed to be.
"So, what''s it gonna be Hideo?" Miranda asked, "Are you gonna overcome this challenge? Or are you gonna die like an insect?"
Hideo roared in anger and charged at the older man before his world exploded in pain.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Well, everything looks fine my dear," Miranda replied as she sat down in her chair with her usual ever-present smile on her face.
"Good," Hideo answered, "Do we any other assignment?"
"No, not at the moment," Miranda shrugged, "But we do have an incoming guest, its someone you know very well," She answered with a knowing glint in her eyes.
"Please don''t tell me it''s her," Hideo groaned in anger and annoyance as he realized he was right.
"But it is my dear~~" Miranda replied cheerfully knowing full well how it annoyed him to no end.
"But why?" The young man asked, "Wasn''t she supposed to be in Australia?"
"She was but well, let''s just say something came up," Miranda shrugged, "And I don''t wanna ruin the surprise for you,"
"I am gonna go hit the gym, I need to let off the steam," Hideo groaned as he moved towards their own training facility but was stopped by Miranda literally poking him on the chest.
"Now, Now, Look at the time," Miranda began in a teasing voice as he slowly realized what she was getting to, "Don''t tell me you''ve forgotten what day it is?"
"You are not gonna let this go are you?" Hideo began.
"Of course not, I can make it an order if that is what you prefer?" Miranda commented offhandedly but the message was clear, he had no choice in the matter, "It is your cover and you have to maintain it. And besides you don''t want to miss the first day of your school, do you?"
"It''s not like they have anything to teach me," Hideo shrugged, and it was true. Part of his training was high-level education. They drilled every basic subject into his mind, from mathematics to psychology.
"Be that is as it may, you are still going," Miranda shut off any arguments.
"I know, it is my cover,"

CHAPTER START
"Ah, Hideo," A cheerful voice called out, "How''ve you been?"
023 turned around and saw one his ''friends'' waving at him. It was Daisuke Shinohara. One of the more popular kids in school. He was an above average boy, with curly brown hair and black eyes. He was standing at 5''11. He also had a bigger body compared to most of their classmates.
Despite his average height, he had a bulky bone structure and body, something Hideo chalked up to his family genes.
"Dai," Hideo greeted back, "I have been good. What about you? How were your holidays?"
"You know? same old same old," Daisuke commented offhandedly, "You know my father, trying to get me interested in the clan as much as he can,"
"Hm," Hideo replied, of course, this was no surprise to the young assassin. Shinohara, Daisuke''s family or clan were one of the oldest families in Tokyo. Even today, they were among the high society of Japan, both on the political and power side.
And with power comes enemies. Daisuke''s family had a lot of enemies. Daisuke himself was naive to the ways of the world and for that reason, he still didn''t know that his family wasn''t all good. Yeah, Hideo thought, The Shinohara family had a lot of illegal business in Japan, ranging from drug trades to weapon trafficking.
And being the only son of the head of the clan, he had many people who would love to kill him and for that reason alone, not many people were aware of who his family actually was. Not to mention, there were at least 3 people in and around the school Hideo knew were his bodyguards, undercover and without his knowledge of course.
"How was your break, Hideo?" Daisuke inquired, "Anything interesting?"
"Stop, who are you?" An older looking security guard asked walking towards Hideo.
"I am new, My name is Suzaku, I was supposed to be working with party staff but I can''t seem to find the party," Hideo said in clumsy voice while holding his card up.
"How did you get up here?" The guard asked suspiciously, "This floor is restricted without security clearance,"
"Really?" Hideo chuckled nervously, "Sorry, I didn''t know, I just got into the lift and pressed the first floor my hand hit,"
"You are gonna have to come with me," The guard said with a little hostility.
"L-lead the way p-please," Hideo replied with a stutter. He was a pretty good actor, hell he even convinced himself that he was just a harmless young waiter, let alone the security guard.
Hideo and the guard made their way to the security room where the guard mentioned Hideo to stand back as he opened the door with his card.
Hideo''s eyes scanned the room, he saw two guards in the room watching over the party through security monitors.
"After you," Hideo said to the guard and as soon as he The guard moved in Hideo quickly snapped his neck killing him instantly, The other two guards heard this started to turn away but Hideo with lighting speed threw a knife at one of the guard''s head and closed the distance and hit the other guard on with a quick punch to the skull followed by a kick to his knee bringing him down.
Hideo quickly wrapped his arm around the poor guard in an iron clutch intent on finishing him soon, "Please, I have a daughter," The guard begged in a hoarse whisper.
"I am sorry," Hideo replied as he snapped his neck, killing him instantly, "But no one can know my secret," he muttered as he realized he just killed three adults in 20 seconds.
"Me?" Hideo asked absentmindedly as he thought of the people he assassinated over the course of a 2-month break, "No, nothing very interesting,"
"Ah, c''mon man," Daisuke began, "You oughta enjoy yourself more,"
"I enjoy myself plenty," Hideo replied curtly, "Thank you, and you should watch yourself more than me. Or your not-girlfriend would make a fuss as she always does,"
"How many times have I told you that Mai and I are not dating," Daisuke denied, although his flustered expression told Hideo otherwise.
Honestly, even if he didn''t have extensive knowledge of human psychology, Hideo still would have figured out. Those two were inseparable and so hopelessly in love with one another.
The only reason they didn''t get together was that their families didn''t like one another or that is what they believed but Hideo knew better. Shinohara and Hiroshi family''s dislike for one another wasn''t just petty, no, they were rivals in the underworld. In many ways, Mai and Daisuke were similar, both of them unaware of their families truth.
Hideo chuckled, the Heir to two of the biggest rival criminal clans in Tokyo fell in love, it was a disaster waiting to happen.
"Sure, sure," Hideo replied clearly not believing him.
"Oh really," Daisuke spoke challengingly, "Then what about Aiko? You two clearly have feelings for each other," Daisuke began triumphantly but stopped when he noticed Hideo''s deadpan look.
Love, eh, something Hideo understood all too well but never quite felt it, at least not in the way normal people do.
POLICE HEADQUARTERS:-
"Doesn''t make sense," Shizuku huffed in annoyance from her location.
"Why?" A gruff voice asked from beside her, "He''s insane, he doesn''t reason to do what he does,"
"It''s just..... why would someone commit such a daring murder during a party?" Shizuku asked, "I don''t think it was random either. Just think about it, he left a message, clearly, there was a reason for it, don''t you think Marude?"
"I Lied," Marude read from a piece of paper, "What does that mean? Why go through all the trouble to carve that on the victim''s chest when you could just write it on a wall or something and not to mention, dropping the body in the middle of a high-class party,"
"Could this be a revenge murder?" Shizuku wondered.
"No," Marude immediately replied, "The more that I think about it, the more your first theory makes sense,"
"Really?" Shizuku asked surprised.
"Yea," Marude yawned lazily, "Let''s go talk to your father," the older Detective spoke and moved towards the chief''s office.
Shizuku stiffened a bit and followed since she was the police chief''s daughter, she had a chip on her shoulders. She had always wanted to prove herself to her father. Maybe it was because he wanted a boy or maybe it was because his work had kept him too busy during her childhood that she desperately wanted his attention.
"Report," The Chief asked while laying back in his chair.
"The investigation has not led us anywhere, there are no proofs and all the suspects have an Alibi that cannot be refuted," Shizuku began.
"There are no clues either and frankly speaking we are no closer to finding the culprit, Boss," Her partner interrupted, giving his own two cents and backing up a nervous daughter in front of her over expectant father.
"The only thing we have been able to find out if that the Murderer entered the building while pretending to be a waiter," Shizuku supplied.
"A waiter?" The Chief raised an eyebrow
"Yes, he knocked out a waiter in the back alley and took his identification card and made his to the 30th floor, where he knocked out most of the guards and killed 3 in the security room from where he shut down the camera feed," She explained.
"Somehow the culprit managed to hack the 30-floor camera feed otherwise maybe we could have seen his face while he was fighting the guards but remotely hacking the camera feed suggests that he had a partner," Marude chimed in, filling in the holes.
"After that, he made his way over to the party, slipped the victim into an empty room, murdered him and hung his corpse on the party floor from the ceiling," Shizuku finished. She herself had seen it first hand. It was a fundraiser party that most of the high class of Tokyo had been invited to, of course, being the daughter of the police chief she was also present and it hurt her pride that the Killer had struck on her watch. The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
"As of now we have no direction to pursue the case, there were over 200 people in that party," Marude began, "Although there might be something,"
"What is it, Marude?" Chief Yoshi asked annoyed, he knew most of the people in the party and his reputation was at stake and that''s why he put his best detective and his own daughter on the case, not getting any result was disappointing, to say the least.
"I think she better explain it, it is her theory after all," Marude spoke towards Detective Yoshi.
"Speak, Shizuku " The chief gestured his daughter to continue.
"Yes Chief, I believe that the Culprit could be a Hired Hitman, a - an assassin," She spoke a while stammering a little because her father never paid much attention to all her theories.
"The reason for me saying this would be first, most of the victim''s enemies would be his Business Rivals or maybe partners and at most his jealous wife and those sort of people can never commit this kind of crime," She explained.
"What I mean is that this was brutal and the way the culprit made his way into the building and used the party as a cover to murder the victim. And not to mention the message, ''I lied'' carved on the victim''s chest. The cuts were straight and too clean, this sort of work can only be done by a professional or a seasoned killer. Secondly, the victim was tied by a polycarbonate rope which is a military grade grappling rope and I doubt some high-class businessmen would murder someone this brutally and not to mention they all have their Alibi and besides the carving on the victim''s chest are too neat. The kill shot itself, one single bullet hole, right in the center of the skull, that kind of a shot takes precision, many people can''t even make it point blank. And then there is the time frame for all of it, The victim was last seen about 15 minutes from the time his corpse fell onto the floor which means that the killer is also very time efficient," Shizuku continued while her father listened a bit amazed if he was being honest with himself.
"I don''t have any proof and this is most likely my intuition but I believe that either his wife or Rivals or maybe Partners hired a professional Hitman for the job, If we wish to find the Hitman I think we should focus more on finding than who hired him rather than who pulled the trigger," She finished her explanation while her father looked at her with surprise, Marude, however, was proud, he was sort of a mentor to Shizuku, he taught her everything she knew ever since they became partners 3 years ago.
"That may make sense but we can''t waste our time chasing theories, This case is too high profile thanks to the hanging Corpse," The Chief replied as he leaned back in his chair.
"B-but Father " Shizuku complained but was stopped by Marude.
"Chief I know that this case is high profile and also media is giving it too much hype but we are not making any progress, a different approach might help us," Marude explained in a calm manner, backing his partner up.
"I don''t know if you have noticed but you should give more credit to your daughter, in the past 3 years most of the cases we solved were due to her theories and out of the box thinking, " He praised as Shizuku Blushed and turned her head away while folding her arms underneath her ample bosom.
"And besides if it doesn''t help, we can always come back to the way we are working right now, No harm is done right chief?" Marude said while making weird gestures.
"Alright do what you will but only one week and if you cannot get any results," Chief warned as he stood up, he didn''t speak a word further but the message was all too clear.
"Understood, Chief," she said as she bowed and left with Marude behind her.
Chapter 2
Hideo rushed at his assailant and threw a punch, the assailant dodged and countered to which Hideo ducked down and answered with a Vertical kick but to his surprise, the masked Assailant wasn''t there.
He got up and as soon as he felt a hand on his shoulder. On instinct, he pulled his arm away, as soon as he turned around he felt a punch connect to his cheek.
Dodge left, dodge right, duck down and throw an over the head kick he thought to himself while avoiding the onslaught.
The assailant managed to reduce the impact of the kick with their hand but Hideo managed to push back the assailant, with all the contact Hideo could tell that the assailant was a female. Of course, he scoffed to himself, he should have known. It was her, but he couldn''t stop now, lest he wanted her to kick his head off.
He ran towards her and threw a straight jab, she dodged to the left and countered with one of her own, the impact made Hideo bleed from the lip.
Hideo ducked down to avoid a right hook and punched her in the ribs and followed it up with a right hook of his own but she too dodged by ducking down, both hands on the ground she countered with a tae-kwon-do style vertical kick under the chin.
Hideo fell back and stood up with lighting speed and jumped left to avoid an incoming flying knee attack, She turned back to face him but Hideo caught her in a sleeper hold but she slowly managed to free herself.
Hideo jerked her forward by pulling her arm roughly straight into a knee strike to the stomach. He could feel the gasp of pain from his opponent.
She stumbled back and clutched her stomach in pain.
Hideo used the chance to rush at his opponent but she threw a knife which he barely dodged but ran into a left-right combo and knee strike of her own. He could swear that she was probably smirking, he could feel that smugness anywhere.
A hard knee strike connected to his face, one that was probably gonna leave a bruise. Hideo fell on his back and felt her straddle him, he spat blood as she started to punch him and back and forth.
"Hehe, you lose, darling," She spoke huskily and moved to punch him again only for her hand to connect with the hard floor.
"Eh?" She muttered confusingly when Hideo''s fist connected with his nose. She groaned in pain and quickly started to retreat a bit but Hideo didn''t let her.
From his position on the ground, he kicked her in the knee and pulled her down in a triangle hold.
"Stand down, 03," Hideo commanded while choking the life out her, he grunted in pain when he felt her defiant punches connect to his ribs. He should have expected it, she was far more proficient at these holds than he was, she was also far more resilient.
Deciding not fight against her in her own specialty, he let her go and pushed her away with his legs. Hideo rolled over his head, he kipped up and quickly pulled up the knife 03 had thrown.
He clutched the knife and was about to rush at her when she raised her finger as if talking to a child.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk," She chided with humor in her voice, "I am not gonna get into a knife fight with you of all people,"
03 hummed in a nonchalant manner. Hideo watched her carefully as she moved towards the open window.
"I''ll see you later, Hideo~~," 03 sang as she dropped a smoke bomb and escaped through the window.
A sigh escaped from the young agent. He should have known, Marinda did warn him that she was coming but so soon?
Putting her thoughts away from his mind, he walked towards the infirmary to stop the bleeding.
A week Later:-
Hideo walked towards the school chatting with his supposed crush as Daisuke liked to call it. Aiko, she was a nice girl he thought. She was a regular build for a girl her age, was smart to a degree, had a deep caring side for her friends and a scary angry side for those she didn''t like.
Aiko was also beautiful in her own way, her hair was unusual brown in color. She also had matching eyes, a thin jawline along with pale skin complexion which gave her a very decent beautiful smart girl look.
She also had a crush on him, he supposed, a foolish endeavor if he was honest but he had to keep his cover so he usually acted obliviously
"Hey guys," A feminine voice called out.
Hideo turned around and saw Daisuke''s not so secret love interest. Mai Hiroshi.
Mai was small for her age and petite but a charming and confident personality. She was a natural born leader though, that was something Hideo could admit. She had a certain charm and sometimes she was too clever for her own good.
She had blonde hair which rare but not impossible for Japanese along with tan skin and blue eyes. She also had a nice body, not the best but certainly not the worst either.
"Mai," Aiko greeted softly, "How are you?"
"Oh, I am great," Mai replied as she waved cheerfully at Hideo.
"Where is the idiot?" Hideo asked referencing to Daisuke, looking around, it was rare to them separately.
"He''s trying to impress the new girl," Mai huffed with her arms crossed.
"What new girl?" Aiko asked
"Some new transfer from America," Mai replied, annoyance clear in her voice, "Apparently, her father passed away so she moved here with her grandparents,"
Bells rang in Hideo''s head, they didn''t get many transfers in the final year. Especially from America, and with her appearance a week ago...
"Idiot''s trying to make me jealous," Mai spoke haughtily, making Hideo raise an eyebrow and Aiko giggle at her antics.
"If you know what he is doing then why don''t stop him from embarrassing himself and have a talk with him?" Hideo asked with a raised eyebrow. Of course, she was aware, she was far too good at reading people not to be, something Hideo chalked up to her family genetics.
"Because it''s cute," Mai exclaimed a bit lovingly? Hideo couldn''t be sure, "It''s really cute that he thinks he can hide his feelings from me,"
"Ok?" Hideo said not really understanding, "I mean why not just ask him out yourself if you feel the same?" Hideo asked as both of the females looked at him as if he had grown a second head.Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation.
"Alright," Hideo backed away, "Let''s just go,"
Hideo walked ahead leaving the two girls talking. He had to check if he was right, he sure as hell hoped he wasn''t.
Hideo walked through the corridors and came across a flustered looking Daisuke trying to talk to the new ''student.''
Hideo''s eyes narrowed a bit before he schooled his features.
The new ''student'' was a beauty in every standard. She had a perfect hour-glass figure, exotic strawberry blonde hair and amber eyes, perfect smooth ivory skin to top it all. In other words, she was gonna be a part of almost every schoolboy''s wet dream tonight.
"Daisuke," Hideo called out as he walked towards the duo.
"A-ah, Hideo," Daisuke greeted back, Hideo stared her in the eye as she smirked lightly, silently challenging him to cause a scene.
"Hey," Daisuke called out before ushering him forward, "Let me introduce you to Carla Redames, she is a new student from America. Carla, this is my best friend, Hideo Eiji,"
"Nice to meet you, Carla," Hideo spoke with a perfect smile that would fool anyone, not her though.
"Nice to meet you too, Hideo-kun," Carla replied cheerfully, "You don''t mind if I call you Hideo-kun, do you? I''ve heard Japanese boys like that," She said innocently causing a few faces around to blush.
"Ah- I don''t mind," Hideo replied, "Before I forget, Mai was asking for you,"
"Ah man, but I already promised to take Carla to the registration office," Daisuke whined.
"Don''t worry," Hideo reassured, "I''ll show her the way, you can go or Mai will make a fuss,"
"Really? thanks, man," Daisuke said gratefully, "I''ll see you around Carla,"
"Nice to meet you too, Daisuke-kun," Carla called out to his retreating form.
Hideo stared at the back of his ''friend'' until he was out of sight. His eyes hardened as soon as he was gone, he grabbed Carla''s hand roughly and pulled her along with him.
"Oh, so daring," Carla teased, Hideo ignored her and whispers around from the students as he pulled her behind him.
Hideo led her to the old school building and grabbed her by the shoulders shoving her hard against the wall.
"So rough, I like it," Carla moaned, "I missed you too Hideo-kun,"
"Shut up, 03," Hideo hissed, 03 was another agent of the organization like Hideo. Unlike him, however, she was one of the original 9. While Hideo was taken in and turned into what he was today after he was already 10, the original 9 were born into the organization. They grew up there, they were genetically enhanced even in the womb. They were literally created in the lab.
When the organization tried to recreate the experiments on other subjects like him, they all failed, no one survived other than him and no one knew why. The organization decided not to make any more like the original 9 because the process was too long so they were still trying to figure out why only he survived so that they could move up to adult trials.
"What are you doing here? hmm? You trying to blow my cover?" He asked angrily, "You think this is a fucking joke?"
"Mou," Carla pouted, "We see each other after nearly two years and this is what you ask me?" She asked wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Enough," Hideo replied pulling himself away from her embrace, calming himself down a bit, "Leave, before you mess everything up,"
"Oh but, I am here to stay, Hideo-kun," Carla replied with an innocent look on her face, "This school is also my cover from now on, just like it is yours,"
"Let''s go," Hideo growled before he grabbed her hand again.
"Taking me home already?" Carla asked teasingly, "Ufufufu, so daring indeed,"
Line break
The way back was awkward, to say the least, Carla trying to flirt and Hideo trying to ignore her kept grabbing everyone''s attention they came across.
"I will ask one more time, why are you here?" Hideo asked bluntly, as they waited for Miranda to get back home.
"No hi or how are you? or where you''ve been?" Carla asked in a complaining tone, "You''ve become arrogant, but it''s fine since you have grown tremendously," Referencing to the fight they had last week when she attacked him as a test.
"Last time you didn''t even understand what was happening let alone resist and fight back, you were much cuter back then, though I have a feeling that I''d like the new you just as much," She said as she bent towards him not really hiding her feelings or anything.
"Remember? You couldn''t even walk straight next day for training," She teased as she bit her lower lip while trying to poke his forehead but Hideo caught her wrist in a tight grip.
She smiled as Hideo narrowed his eyes at her trying to figure out the reason behind her sudden appearance, it surely wasn''t for a mission because Japan was Hideo''s work territory, every assignment passed through him and Miranda and not to mention he wasn''t notified of 03 visiting Japan so what could be the reason?
"03," Miranda said as she walked in, Anyone else would misunderstand after looking at Hideo and Three standing like that But Miranda being Miranda, was full well aware of the history between them.
"Why doesn''t anyone remember my Name?" Three said as she hung her head down into a facepalm.
"Forgive me, Carla Redames," Miranda replied apologetically.
Carla sure wasn''t her real name, Just as Hideo, she was named by her Handler,"Apology accepted," She smiled.
"Explain," Hideo said with crossed arms causing Miranda to sigh, she signaled Carla to begin her explanations as she sat down.
"I have been active in Australia for a long time but the Assignments stopped coming for some reason and not to mention my Handler died, so they decided to relocate me to another Handler, you Miranda," She explained but Hideo knew full well she asked for Miranda because of him.
"On one condition that I would handle any Assignments in surroundings countries or any special assignments and Hideo would handle everything in Japan unless some special circumstances arrive," She finished her explanation.
Hideo didn''t say anything to that but it was clear to Miranda that he wasn''t too happy about this and she also knew that it was Carla who asked to come here and Higher ups only agreed to it because that way they''d be able to do something in case Hideo went rogue.
It was no secret that higher-ups didn''t trust Hideo since he wasn''t born into the organization. So, in a way, Carla was the reassurance policy in case he went rogue. She knew Carla would be best suited to capture Hideo given their history.
"Well, I will prepare your background and stuff I guess. Hmm, I would need to bribe some people as well geez, I guess I''d see you both later," Miranda said and left the house.
"So~~" Carla turned towards Hideo who was sitting on the other side of the Kitchen counter by now.
"So what?" He asked rudely
"Don''t be so rude, What I meant was, how did it feel coming back to Japan?" She asked in a curiosity-filled voice
"Nothing special," He replied casually as he started calming down and came to terms with her being here for now.
"Did you meet Ren''s family?" Carla asked
"Don''t want to," He answered simply.
"Enough about me, how did your Handler die?" Hideo asked he could see a little regret behind her smile after the question, it was natural since the 10 were raised by their handlers so they were like Parent figures to them.
"An accident, She was out in a bank and became a victim of a robbery gone wrong," She explained with a sad sigh.
"Enough of that, Get me some clothes will you? I need to eat something," Carla said as she started undressing right there.
Hideo seeing her or rather trying to not see which was proving difficult went upstairs to get some clothes, He didn''t want to spend any more time with her than he had to, by the time he came downstairs Carla was drinking wine wearing nothing more than her undergarment.
As much as he wanted to Hideo couldn''t keep his eyes off her round bottom in her white silky panties and her perky B cups managed to get a reaction even out of him, his breathing fastened a little and anyone would''ve missed it but Carla was special, seeing his reaction she smiled happily.
"Here," she said as she offered Hideo a glass of wine.
Hideo didn''t accept it instead he looked at it suspiciously
"There is no poison in it," She said and Took a sip from the glass and handed it to Hideo.
It was true that there was no poison in it but rather a strong sleeping drug which enters through skin contact rubbed all over the glass.
Hideo oblivious to the fact quietly drank the wine as she kept talking, a normal person would be out of it mere seconds after coming into contact with it but it took some minutes for a genetically enhance person like Hideo to be knocked out.
"Hou ~~ Took more time than I expected," She said with a big grin "Let''s go Hideo," She added as she stood up.
She carried, well more like dragged Hideo upstairs and laid him on the bed and laid on top of him herself and looked him deep in the eye.
"Hey ~ ~, I have traveled a long way to be with you, I missed you so much," She said in a soft lovable voice as she licked his lips slowly while undressing him.
"I did a lot of unpleasant things, sacrificed a lot to get to you," She whispered in his ear.
"I tried so hard and took so many lives, Hideo,"
"If I could do all those things just to get to you, Imagine what I''d do to stay with you," She said and bit his lower lip.
"I know you probably hate me, given what I did, I understand but if I had the chance I''ll do it again. You will understand someday," She said and kissed him passionately, a small thin trail of saliva could be seen between their lips as they parted.
"Hideo, you are mine forever, you just don''t know it yet," She said possessively as the moonlight shone away from them, giving them their privacy.
