《Hybrid Summoner》 Prologue ¡°Hey Bolas you done with the weekend muster report yet?¡± I sighed as my airheaded superior brought it up for the at least the tenth time that day. ¡°It¡¯s in your box Edwards. And don¡¯t forget that i¡¯m separated starting monday and you gotta go to CS3 Jenkins for everything.¡± He blushed and started blustering how he wasn¡¯t that forgetful but i just raised my hand in a last farewell. He was a great guy to work with in almost every way with the sole exception of him being ridiculously forgetful on a regular basis. On his way out he just so happened to run into his commanding officer on the smoke deck right after walking outside the skin of the ship. ¡°Good evening sir.¡± ¡°Good evening Niko, how many planes you walked to lately?¡± With a grin i said ¡°Too many for my deck to handle sir.¡± We both laughed and headed towards the quarterdeck, chatting while we went. We mostly talked about how he was gonna have to find someone else to bake him sweets at two o¡¯clock underway. Before i came onboard he was a notoriously picky eater when it came to sweets, but it only took once before he all but begged me to be in charge of the ships ¡¯Donut Factory¡¯. When we got to the quarter deck he stopped me and had the watch standers ring me off. Technically they weren¡¯t supposed to but i was friends with both of them and it was the CO¡¯s order. I could only smile and shake my head at my their shenanigans since they all knew i didn¡¯t like sappy goodbye¡¯s. With one last look at my home for last four years i shook my captain''s hand one more time and bid my farewell. I was already in my civilian clothes so i immediately called a taxi and was on my way to the airport. On the way i could help but think back to my time in the Navy and was a little sad to be leaving. It had been four years since i had been home but that was my own choice. My parents had died in a car accident on the way to my boot camp graduation, and since i had no other relatives that i new of they were buried that week. First thing i did after that was drive nearly sixteen hours to my girlfriends house because i just needed some support and i didn¡¯t know who else to turn to. I walked in on my best friend screwing her doggy style in an apartment that i had completely paid for but had yet to sleep in. I new what was going on when i saw the same wallet i had made for my lifelong best friend Tyson Cole in my leather working class in highschool on top of a short skirt i remembered buying on our second date. By that point though i was well and deep sunk into shock, i knew i was since i heard the lid of my parents slam closed as we laid them six feet into the ground. Everything felt like i was watching a movie in first person view. As i walked down the hall i could hear the moans and breathless panting but i was far past rational thought. I remember pushing the door open and the hinges squeaked just in time for my eyes to theirs. They both froze they had just got tasered. I lifted up the skirt and wallet which i still couldn¡¯t remember actively picking from the hallway. ¡°I still remember when i made this you know. It was our junior year but you had accidently overloaded your schedule so i said i take the class and make you the wallet you wanted as the final project.¡± The wallet was in my left hand and the skirt in my right, It even still had the matching panties in it. ¡°I remember buying you this on our second date, and saying it could be a deadly weapon of cuteness if you wore it and so happened to blush. I remember your laugh and saying it was the third corniest thing you ever heard.¡± I left them drop to the floor and looked into first my former best friends eyes and then my Ex-girlfriends eyes and before they could look away i let them see the soul crushing heartbreak i felt inside. We would always joke about how my close friends could always tell what i was feeling by looking in my eyes, they would say it was like looking at a pond without ripples. They both flinched like i had slapped them as they heard the wallet hit the floor. ¡°Do you guys remember when i asked you to come to my graduation? This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. Samantha, you said you were very sick and when i said i¡¯d send my parents to check on you i remember the panic in your voice. Though i ignored it at the time and thought i was mistaken. Tyson, I remember when i called you and you said you were in a business meeting for the next week in atlanta. I begged you over the phone, i pleaded with you. I couldn¡¯t bring myself to even say it out loud at the time but that was for my parents funeral. There funeral ended fifteen hours thirty eight minutes ago, and i drove here right after.¡± He took a ring case from his pocket and tossed it so it landed open right in front of her, It was a five grand wedding ring with the price tag still attached. ¡°I bought that the same day i enlisted. I told myself that as soon as i graduated i would bend my knee and ask that question.¡± He watch the horror and guilt deepen with every word he said. He had silent tears streaming down his face at this point but he couldn¡¯t even feel it. They all knew that scars like this never healed with time, they only scabbed over. ¡°Never contact me again.¡± After that it got even more hazy and he could only barely remember driving away and sure enough as he rounded the corner he saw tysons pickup parked in the resident parking lot. That was his first time sleeping in a roadside motel. When he woke up and checked out he immediately drove back and reported for duty. Over the next few weeks he performed perfectly in his A-school but everything else deteriorated. He slept almost constantly and would at most eat one meal a day. Eventually people started to notice and they got him help. Turns out they have whole departments in each command just for this kind of thing, but even then they tried everything and were at their wits end. I was losing weight at a terrifying pace and they were forced to put a watch on me to even make sure i ate. After nearly six months of this i had all but asked to die. One day the command Master Chief was actually doing an inspection of the barracks happened to find out about me and took a personal interest. And by interest we spard, or rather the first two or three sessions he beat the shit out of me. One day i just snapped, because he wasn¡¯t expecting it i knocked the wind out of him. He now had a bruise in the perfect indention of my fist in his stomach, the trade off at this point was that my body was completely emaciated and that hit broke two fingers, my wrist, and fractured my forearm along with a plethora of strained muscles and a few pulled ligaments. It was the first time in what seemed like years i had felt anything at all, it was the beginning of my recovery. It took most of the next two years to fully piece myself together, and even now it hurts to think of their betrayal. I studied a variety of survival skills, martial arts, melee weapon fighting techniques over that time. I never did fully understand why but eventually i developed my own mixed martial art from piecing together everything i knew and incorporated heavy weapons into it. Everything from clubs of ridiculously oversized wood to warhammers to homemade greatswords i trained with until i could wield as naturally as breathing. It was never anything more than my personal hobby to pass the time but i still got many weird looks because of it, especially when i turned down drinking because of it, of course they could only grumble the one time i accepted and they all tried to pull my shirt off once they thought they got me drunk. One of the bartenders was the one who put them up to it and was known as an untouchable ice queen that had no interest in men. That was the one and only night anyone ever saw her go slack jawed and she said ¡°Holy Christ your sculpted like a fucking greek god, is that shit for real.¡± After which he made two of them carry him back and they could only grumble after that. One day it kinda just faded under the radar and of course there was a plethora of bad jokes made about it by my shipmates and friends. I still wasn¡¯t completely fine but i was alright. The taxi shuddered me out of my thoughts as we pulled up to the airport, i paid and grabbed my bags before heading to the registry counter. The normal Process ensued and within an hour he was on a flight from Okinawa, Japan back to the states. Chapter 1- The System The flight had one quick layover in Tokyo then it was non-stop to Los Angeles California. He slept about ninety percent of it and just woke up for meals and the landing, or rather what he first thought was a landing. When he actually listened to the words of the pilot he was instantly awake, ¡°-hit massive turbulence. We have descended to try and rectify the problem so please do not be alarmed. Please just buckle yourselves in and we will be arriving shortly.¡± Through all the jargon there was a trace of panic in his voice, and that was what had shocked him awake. Suddenly remembering a few snippets about how most plane crashes started he quietly crouched in his seat and braced his knees against the seat in front of him. There was a girl about seventeen next to him who caught on and whispered to what looked like a sister or relative of some sort before copying him. He kept a look out through the window and the dread built in the pit of his stomach. He could now see the landing strip in the distance rapidly drawing closer. He looked at the girl and said ¡°If something does happen tense all your muscles as best you can until everything stops.¡± With a face white as parchment she nods and tells the other girl the same. As they touch down on the landing strip all hell breaks loose. Suddenly all power shuts off, even the floor and emergency lights. For a split second it¡¯s silent then they go nose first into the pavement. The screaming starts but he focuses all his effort into staying curled in a ball. With an enormous screech of metall the right wing tears off and they start to roll, then the left wing goes but they keep going. Time after time they roll and crash with only the sound of screeching metal and human screams to tell whats what. A burst of stars and felt no more. Soon he fought back to consciousness and realized they had stopped moving. Unbuckling himself he turns and sees the girl is also out cold. Quickly feeling a pulse he sighs in relief. Gotta check if there are others. With a tentative step over the women he looked around. Quickly finding a stewardess who¡¯s also knocked out in a fold out seat. ¡°Hey, come on miss, you gotta wake up now.¡± with a groan she wakes up under his relentless shaking. ¡°Argh, what happened?¡± ¡°Somehow we crashed and the planes in shambles you need to find the other stewardesses and get people out of the plane, for all we know it could be ready to blow up at any second.¡± Talking calm but fast he quickly told her what to do and he would start carrying those who were unconscious or injured outside. He started with the two girls and activated the emergency exit. In short order he had almost a hundred and fifty injured and/or unconscious people a few hundred feet from plane. Quickly grabbing his bag and a bunch of random luggage took them outside and tore them into strips for bandaging. It was the start of a very long day. At roughly noon judging by the sun they got another huge shock. Covering his vision was a blue screen like what he could only relate to as something from a video game.

System Welcome
Greetings humans as you may be wondering the recent events that have transpired have indeed most likely caused world wide destruction and while that is regrettable it is only the beginning. Starting from today you will now be entered in the Intergalactic race wars where you will fight for survival against the other sentient races of the cosmos. There is no purpose other than survival of the fittest and as a race that has reached the end of their protection period you have now been automatically entered in the games. Because your original god has already died you will receive a lesser divine boon from whichever prime deity happens to be interested in you personally. The only rule is that complete destruction of a planet is prohibited and those that break this rule will be locked out of the system permanently and have a bounty placed upon them by the system. Magic has now been introduced to you by the system and as compensation all current technology was destroyed. Consider this an entirely new world if you wish to survive. Know this as the final courtesy to your race, the only true law in the universe is that might decides right.
As soon as he finished reading it disappeared and in place a new one appeared.

Blood mage
  • A mage who uses their own blood and that of their enemies as a catalyst to warp the corpses of their enemies to do their bidding
Swarm Summoner

Grand Summoner
  • A summoner who specialises in summoning massively powerful creatures to battle in their stead and eventually they may contract those even more powerful than them through the use of a blood contract.
Without a second thought he selected Grand Summoner and confirmed his selection. No matter their numbers the weak can never overcome the truly powerful. Not to mention that all the other classes he was offered required some form of support besides the crusader, and even though it seemed powerful at first glance he thought it was severely lacking if someone with that class had to fight against more than three opponents at once. It was simply to focused on strictly offence and defence and the mage classes didn¡¯t have that problem. In the end though he knew that there was no inherently most powerful class and it was all about the most suitable class. DING
Congratulations
You have chosen the class Grand Summoner and gained access to the novice tier of the Summoner tree.
Choose your path
Soul Binder- In every summon you put the mettle of your soul against that which you wish to summon. On this path all your mana shall be synchronized with your soul dimension and the size of your soul will directly relate to the number of summons you may have active at any one time while the quality of your soul determines the strongest creature you may summon.
Blood Contracter- You now draw blood from your own body and those near you summon creatures beyond your level but must be subdued before they will be fully loyal to you in combat.
Now he hesitated. From what he could understand Soul Binder was could be a make all or break all for him since as far as he new the soul was a completely unquantifiable existence that had yet to be proven to even exist and yet he would have to rely on it entirely if he were choose this path. Comparatively Blood Contractor could be definitively quantified and measured thus would be the infinitely safer bet. Like every other time he¡¯d faced a life decision he knew would dictate the rest of his life he closed his eyes and listened intently to his gut instinct. It had never led him wrong before and he doubted it would start now. Visualizing two paths stretching into the distance he made the left to represent the Blood Contracter and the right Soul Binder. He felt a tug to the right and selected then confirmed Soul Binder.
Please wait while the system reconfigures and quantifies your body, mind, and soul into the status screen and system parameters. Be warned this will hurt.
He immediately squeezed his eyes shut against the pain. It was like someone going through you body with a scalpel and microscope to see what was inside. The worst was his head and it felt like something tore it into shreds then put it back together. He collapsed to his knees as the pain left as suddenly as it had come. It had all only lasted a fraction of a second. As he gasped for breath another Ding sounded and he could help but flinch then widen his eyes as he read the screen.

¡°Dafuq is this?¡± he was lucky he was over on his own by the plane as he was able to avoid drawing eyes. I¡¯m pretty fucking sure this is beyond abnormal. Try as he might he was totally lost on what this stuff would mean. He was by no means an avid game freak but fortunately for him most of his friends in the military were and from what he could piece together Soul Density and Mass had replaced Intelligence and wisdom but what the hell was with these crazy ass through the roof numbers. Depending on the game 1,000 in either one of them was something to brag about for years and now he like 80 times that. Uh i didn¡¯t mean to break the system. Was about the closest he could come to an answer. With a hiss like static electricity a barrage a Dings sounded and before he do anything a blue popped up.

Oh shit was his last thought as a wave of crippling agony raced through him a dozen times worse than before. He finally collapsed as darkness mercifully took hold. Chapter 2- Goblins and Imps Oh My With a groan and a wince he reluctantly sat up and realized what had woken him up. Screams ripped through the air and the smell of blood was thick in the air. With a jolt he shot towards where he¡¯d left the survivors of the wreck but new he was already too late. Little green creatures that stood maybe three feet tall had swarmed the camp and were killing the men while dragging the women away. Quickly grabbing a piece of pipe about four feet long off the ground he started screaming at them. ¡°Hey over hear you smelly little fucktards, I¡¯m gonna kill fucking one of you ya moving pieces of shit.¡± He got their attention as nearly all but one or two screeched and started running his way. With a bloodthirsty grin he starting using the pipe like a staff and smashed straight through them. Before they could even process what was happening he was ripping through them without even slowing and with ten seconds they all had caved in skulls and were scattered around him. Throwing it like a spear he nailed another one into the dirt threw it¡¯s back. The other one was still trying to drag an unconscious women away. It looked up with surprised right as as he reached it and broke its neck. Finally with a second to breath he searched around and only found two survivors. They were the first two he carried out of the plane. Taking them a little away from the bodies he laid them down and set up a small campfire. With a jolt he realized why he felt so off beyond the whole ¡®world just ended¡¯ feeling. I¡¯m thinking of everything in third person again. Dammit i do this every time i¡¯m about to panic. Ok, first find a seat. Lighting a fire with his lighter he sat down and took deep breaths. Second, find my center, then calm my state of mind till the panic is gone. Doing just that the day faded into night and he ended the meditation. First i have to find out what the rules and limitations of this new world are. It obviously doesn¡¯t abide by all the same rules so let¡¯s find out where the boundaries lie. So let''s start with what new things i can do now. Status Page.

Summoning abilities:

  • Imps
Goblins
One of the lowest forms of sentient life they have little intelligence to speak of but what they lack in intelligence they make up for in numbers.
Imps
The lowest and weakest of the demonic hierarchy. With an inborn affinity for fire magic and a penchant for craftiness and mischief these troublemakers are cowardly and although deadly in numbers it takes a massive force of will to completely control them.
Well that''s helpful. Just focus on it and an explanation pops up.
Soul Density
Measures the quality of one¡¯s soul. Some creatures will only willingly submit to a soul that underwent countless soul shaking experiences and this is a accurate representation of that factor.
Soul Mass
Measures the quantity of one¡¯s soul. This is a numerical value of how much energy your soul has to cast larger and more complex spells without injury to your body or life force.
Well i don¡¯t understand how it managed to measure something like that but hell, i¡¯m not complaining, but how do i summon? Almost as soon as he thought that he felt a pull and a three foot tall doorway that looked like solid pitch formed off to his left and out walked one of those little green things from earlier. It only took one look and his gut told him he could control it without issue. Uh, why is it looking at me like a freaking zealot? The description didn¡¯t say- Oh, this must be what Soul Density does. This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there. With a better idea of what was going on he felt more at ease. ¡°Go get firewood.¡± Even in the dark he felt like he could almost see a dust trail behind the thing as it took off. Well this could come in very handy. With another thought a second doorway appeared and what looked like a bright red humanoid lizard with devil horns and about a foot and a half tall walked through with a similar look on it¡¯s face like it was looking at a god made flesh. Ok, i remember something about being able to strengthen my summons cause my density was so high. At the thought another blue box popped up.
Do you wish to spend 5,000 soul points to permanently upgrade your minion, It will be forever bound to your service until such time as you dismiss it if you do so?

  • Evolution Egg
Huh i can¡¯t get any more info by focusing on the the boxes. My guts telling me to go for the egg. So after confirming he just barely caught himself as all the strength seemed to rush out of him at once. The imp started shuddering and shaking as it curled into a ball and a shell seemed to grow out of its skin and encase it. Within seconds what looked like a shining red egg with blue veins running across it was floating in the air. He couldn¡¯t even react as it suddenly shot into his chest and disappeared. In his mind''s eye he could now see an egg floating in what what he guessed was his soul space. Well i don¡¯t feel any different and it doesn¡¯t seem to be doing anything so I¡¯ll just leave it for now. Just then the goblin came back with it¡¯s spindly arms full of broken boxes and boards from somewhere. ¡°Good job, stand guard and wake me if anything gets to close to us.¡± With that done he reclined and promptly passed out until the sun woke him up the next morning. He dreamed of himself walking down a country lane with an impossible number of side streets that seemed to disappear off into the distance. He looked behind him and as far as the eye could see, demons, dragons, giants, orcs, minotaurs, and more fairy tale creatures than he could name were following him like an endless army. And he felt his connection to all of them, he didn¡¯t feel alone anymore. Suddenly it all clicked together, even in the middle of of a crowd he had felt utterly alone since the day his parents died. No matter what he did after that it didn¡¯t seem to make a difference. He yawned as he sat up then went to check on the girls. Their breathing was deep and even, the head wounds were closing nicely and they were losing blood anymore. Satisfied he trickled some water into each of their mouths and thought deeply about everything he had learned yesterday. Summoning another four imps he sent them on a scouting patrol and saw a blinking icon in the corner of his vision. He opened up his status screen and was bombarded with messages once again.

What are merits? Hmm something''s fishy but seeing how sudden this shit was the begining will most likely have the highest casualty count, and if i don¡¯t want to join them I will need to do everything i possibly can to get stronger. The system said it already, might makes right in this world and if fantasy continues its current trend then humans are practically on the very bottom of the evolutionary ladder. Centuries being coddled in our societies have led to a decline in overall strength which is now made even more obvious with the loss of technology. With a deep breath he focused on yes and in his eyes the world suddenly went black and a new box appeared.
Please choose your difficulty(Difficulty scales to final rewards).
  • Easy- 1-2 exchange (Guaranteed Survival)
  • Normal- 1-6 exchange (75% survival rate)
  • Hard- 1-18 exchange (50% survival rate)
  • Sudden Death- 1-100 (10% survival rate)
  • Class Colossus- 1-1000 (0.01% survival rate)(Subject to Variant Reward)
With his gut now silent he stared at the list for a good ten minutes. From what he¡¯d seen so far the system was entirely centered around fair trade. More effort and risk equals more reward. In this turbulent time that was going to be totally key for his future survival. The only thing he didn¡¯t understand was how the survival rate was factored. Is it from all the people who took the trial or just that difficulty? If i¡¯m gonna live through this armageddon then i will need to be the strongest. Only the strong have a say in anything and only the strong can safeguard their own lives let alone those of others. With a deep breath he selected and confirmed the Class Colossus difficulty rating. Almost instantly he could feel a massive shift in the air flow and almost regretted his choice before he even turned around. It was ten feet tall and slate gray but what made him mentally go Uh-oh was the fact there were four others that were nearly identical and it was shaped exactly like a big toe. In a daze he slowly looked up and got his first in person look at a mountain giant.
Gregor the Mountain Giant
Generated by the system as an over guardian he was a paragon among his race in life before he allowed the system to take him as part of their agreement. His record is flawless and he is merciless. He has never been bested in battle thanks almost entirely to his Diamond hard skin and granite hard bones.
Fuck. Chapter 3- The bigger they are the harder they fall I remember reading that diamond was the second hardest material known to man and the hardest naturally forming. But there is only one problem that all things that are too rigid have in common. Once they break they shatter. Which means, maybe. Focusing with all his might he formed a weapon from his own soul. At first it was like a fluid but in just an instant it formed into an enormous hammer that would have made a dwarf drool in envy. With a head larger than his chest and the top slightly angled outward it looked drastically oversized for any human. With raised symbols of some kind floating on the sides of the head like holograms the stylized western dragons would give any artist a run for his money. With a haft almost three quarters as long as his body it was a monster of a weapon, yet he knew it was far from enough. Using his connection to the weapon he made it vibrate with all his considerable will power. He finally heard a low hum and looked back up at the giant right as it looked down at him. Due to the sudden pressure when it appeared he had went into a hyperactive state where his thoughts were considerably faster than normal. They locked eyes for a solid thirty seconds where neither one moved, then the giant grinned. It was a bloodthirsty thing that was full of Malice and the raw enjoyment of bringing pain to another creature. Within an instant the battle had begun. The Giant roared and the shock wave alone threw him back almost thirty feet, and shook his organs till he spat out a mouth full of blood. He threw himself to the right just in time to avoid the fist that rushed towards him. With a mad sprint he bolted through the things legs and leaped for its ankle. He floundered when he went right past it¡¯s ankle, then it¡¯s shin, almost to its knee before he bounced off, and rolled off it¡¯s foot. Why is my body so light? And why didn¡¯t that fall hurt nearly as much as it should have. Now it was his turn for a bloodthirsty grin. Without further ado he launched himself straight at the ankle this time, making sure to get just the right amount of spin into his Jump so that his hammer hit at maximum velocity. Just like the giants roar had injured him with shockwaves he was going to use the same principle to bust right through his Diamond skin and shater his bones. Flaring the vibrations on his hammer an instant before the impact he was taken totally by surprise at the result. In a completely unnatural way the skin caved in around his hammer and he heard a continuous rumble of snaps and pops as the giants foot failed to support him and he started to collapse. With a scream of pain and an enormous shock wave he landed half curled up and reaching for his ankle on reflex. Not missing the opportunity he did the same thing but this time to his wrist and with nearly identical results. Without missing a beat he dove for the other ankle and repeated the process. Now almost entirely crippled the giant was mad with pain and started thrashing repeatedly. And now is my que to start guerilla tactics. As he bolted out of the giants range he finally relaxed spit out rest of the blood he¡¯d been holding down. Not good, the bleeding won¡¯t stop. Unless i find some healing magic or a potion or something i can only keep going for maybe another hour or two. I need to end this fast or i¡¯m the one that will die first. With a deep breath to steady himself he dashed toward the back of the giants neck. Nearly every humanoid creature in both fantasy and the previous reality had an inward curve on the back of their neck just above where it connected to their spine, if he could sever it¡¯s spinal column it was as good as dead. Counting on being hard to see on account of his size he slid under its neck and prayed it wouldn¡¯t suddenly spasm or something and crush him. After a few tense minutes the giant seemed to pay more attention on trying to find him. Taking his chance he tensed and put all the force he could manage into the blow. With a sudden roar of defiance he felt the bone give and crumble but never one to take chances when he could avoid it he absorbed the recoil into a spin and landed another one after a 180 degree spin. He felt his arms and back creak and pop with the strain. The only thing different this time was that the skin ruptured and covered him head to toe in bits broken bone and blood, unfortunately that included all up in his eyes and mouth. With a twitch the giants roar was cut off mid way all tension fled the body. The ground shook as the arms collapsed but he didn¡¯t even bother to look. He was very busy throwing up his guts off to the bodies left trying to get the nastiness out of his mouth and eyes. Even his internal injuries could be put on hold for that. Nothing like rancid tasting blood with liberal hunks of meat and bone mixed in getting forced down your throat to kill all sense of fulfilment after a near death battle. When there was finally nothing left in his stomach to hurl he straightened up and for a split second he thought he was already dead. Not twenty feet in front of him, sitting cross legged three feet off the ground was what could pass as a neighborhood grandfather type figure in in a hawaiian T-shirt and jean shorts. It didn¡¯t help his impressions any with what came next. ¡°Impressive. An interesting choice when faced with a creature that had absolute defence, much more entertaining than most who come through here, although to date only two have managed to make it out alive at all. Very original if i do say so myself, and that qualifies you for the bonus prize. More so actually since he was literally undefeated on his entire planet. So we¡¯ll just upgrade the original reward then shall we.¡± Now completely and thoroughly thrown for a loop he could only stare blankly as the old man slowly raised his hand and snapped his fingers.
Congratulations you have defeated Gregor the Mountain Giant
Your deed this day has been acknowledged by System Administrator Arjax Corelan and he has authorized a condensed reward based on exemplary performance and creative execution to an unsolvable life or death scenario that was specifically biased against your class, level, and skill set.

Chaos Dragon Monarch
Near the dawn of the Cosmos there were no laws to anything. In the midst of this chaotic amalgamation of pure energy only one life form ever managed to evolve and they were later named the Chaos Dragons. It is unclear to any living sentient how they managed to do this but it was eventually discovered that one among them-the first of their kind- possessed the ability to passively absorb this chaos energy and use it to strengthen its body and soul to levels even gods learned to fear. Chaos was the beginning of everything and all creation evolved from chaos originally thus it has been said by most learned scholars that those who master Chaos have in effect mastered creation. To date this has never come even close to being successfully done thus it remains a mere theory.
¡°Oh, that¡¯s interesting. I never would have thought that the special attribute of the human races bloodline was the ability to merge flawlessly with any other bloodline, and doesn¡¯t seem like it¡¯s only limited to one. Looks like this planets integration was a real diamond in the ruff.¡± With a look of pleasant surprise on his face the old man seemed to almost be talking with himself. ¡°Uh, excuse me. I really don¡¯t mean to be rude but um.. No you know what never mind, I¡¯ll figure it out.¡± He nearly asked what the hell was going on with his world but quickly decided to bite his tongue. The only time back talking what might as well be the equivalent of a god right in front of him ever worked out was in comic books and third rate short stories. ¡°Thank for this great gift sir.¡± I have no idea where exactly on the galactic power scale this would fall exactly but there¡¯s no way in hell it would be weak considering what i just had to do to get it, plus the fact that this is the product of multiple supposedly high class rewards being combined into one. I can totally figure the rest out without possibly pissing off or annoying a god level entity or whatever the hell he is. All these thoughts flashed by in the blink of an eye but he was still sweating from the mistake he almost just made. ¡°HAHAHAHAHA. Wow i haven¡¯t heard something that made that much sense in decades.¡± It painted a very odd picture to see what looked like a sixty year old man rolling around in mid air like a tenager watching a comedy TV series. ¡°Wow I don¡¯t know whether your Instinct is off the charts or if your deduction skills are just that good.¡± With a huge grin and wiping a literal tear out of his eyes from laughing so hard he finally looked back over and sat back up in his original posture. ¡°First you guessed right, secondly i¡¯m only a god compared to someone of your level and lastly the universe is a vast place with an unknown hundreds of thousands of planets in in countless solar systems over multiple dimensions. You as a race have a lot to learn before you can even claim to now a fraction of what you will need to to survive in your new reality. Good luck and try not to die too soon.¡± With a pop he found himself back in the same position he was in before he left. With a sense of deja vu he listened as yet another series of Dings pounded across the surface of his brain.

His jaw did a considerable amount of dropping at that point as he stuttered over the status points for a minute. Ok so odds of that happening again are by far slim to none and i even got like a hundred and twenty levels worth of stat points. This isn¡¯t the old world anymore so odds are my body ain''t gonna cut it anymore. Alright let''s boost that all around just cause i can at this point then let¡¯s go with what my buddies all called Stat dumping. And since my entire fighting power comes from my soul apparently lets increase how much i can do with it. Confirming his choice he braced for a wave of pain like how how he had heard in books, but the exact opposite happened. Instead of pain a wave of pleasure like a hundred orgasm¡¯s riped through all at once. He nearly folded in on himself as it melted him into a very thin puddle for about ten seconds. It went as fast as it had came through and his only thought was Good God that was better than any drug i ever did when i was a kid. That''s gonna get a lot of people addicted to battle fever once word gets out. He nearly jumped out of his skin when the girls both groaned almost simultaneously and started to wake up. He quickly summoned two more goblins and mentally commanded them to find out where the goblins from yesterday had dragged everyone. He¡¯d only caught a glimpse yesterday of two women being dragged away but thinking about how many bodies were missing from how many he dragged out of the plane there was over half of them missing. Where did they go? Why would goblins take humans prisoner? He was no genius on fantasy but he couldn¡¯t see any practical reason other that a source of fresh meat, which meant there was a good chance they were alive. Turning back to what was left of last nights fire he quietly waited for them to awaken. After a few minutes they sat up holding their heads and as they looked around they saw him sitting across from them. Seeing their confused expression he held up a hand to stop them from talking and simply said ¡°Before you ask think notifications and read through all that first.¡± they looked at each other and shrugged then froze as their eyes started going back and forth. He had always found it way too disconcerting how women always seemed to hold incredibly long conversations with just a single look. He kept his peace as they each went through most of what he did yesterday. When the confused faded and then was replaced by first wonder then concentration and finally pain as the system tampered with their bodies. Finally when they were done panting he spoke ¡°Now that you''re up to speed I can begin. What few survivors could be rescued from the crash were either killed or captured by goblins yesterday, and i¡¯m going after them. I have some prior experience with tracking and hunting so if you want we can begin the introductions, my name is Niko Bolas and i¡¯m now a soul summoner. Before all this happened i was in the Navy and i¡¯m fairly talented at close quarters combat when i need to be.¡± As he took a breath he glanced between the two and eventually the one on the left started talking. ¡°My name Natalie Harrah and from what i understand i¡¯m now a Plant mage. I used to be a gardener and part time nurse but my hobby was video games so I¡¯m fairly understanding of all of this.¡± With a quick nod he looked evenly at the other one. ¡°Names Ashley Thomas and i¡¯m now a Templar. Before i was a computer technician for the pay but i also attended martial arts classes in a dojo close by my apartment.¡± He nodded, all in all he could have been much worse off as far party members were concerned. ¡°Ok, i¡¯ve already sent my summoned goblins to see if they can find the ones that took the others. Let''s start heading towards the airport in the meantime since that''s where all the tracks seem to lead.¡± And without another word they were off. The drag marks were highly obvious to anyone with experience so with a cautious paced he followed it back all the way to the international arrivals terminal. A few of the supports had collapsed and the opening was now a ramp to the ground. Stopping and listening carefully he couldn¡¯t hear anything unusual so he beckoned for them to follow. Crouching till he was almost on all fours he quietly and quickly scaled to the entrance by the receptionists desk. This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version. With a peak over the lip he saw three goblins sprawled over a few chairs that looked to be passed out, there were two on the right and one on the left. Looking back he held up three fingers and beckoned to them. Careful no to make any sound he motioned for each of them to take a goblin on the right then he got the one on the left. Might as well test out those new stats i suppose. With that in mind he quickly grabbed it¡¯s throat so it couldn¡¯t scream and clamped a hand over its face. Quickly and continuously adding pressure until felt the strain seemed like the easiest and fastest way to test it. He was not prepared for the result. It¡¯s head caved like it was made of styrofoam almost instantly. With a hiss as he heard the crunch he looked towards the others but saw with relief that they were already done as well. Quickly wiping off the blood on a discarded jacket he tried to come to terms with what he had just did. Before this all started i considered myself pretty damn strong and i started out with 23 as my highest stat excluding my soul stats. In video games that would be like my initial stats for a pretty strong human and now my stats are like ten times that. So does that mean i¡¯m now a minimum of ten times stronger than i was before? I was never good with math so let''s just test it. Looking around could see a bunch of discarded miscellaneous items so he grabbed what looked like a child''s picture book and ripped it down the middle. It was roughly thirty to fifty pages but he would have definitely struggled before the change, yet now he almost couldn¡¯t feel any resistance. With a stunned expression he grabbed a nearby cell phone and crushed it in two again without almost any resistance. With a quiet yet nervous laugh he grabbed the stone knife from the dead goblin and squeezed the grip. Just as the veins and tendons popped out on his hands he heard a definite snap and opened his hand. The handle had broken in two. Aaaand now i¡¯ve officially become a superhuman. He turned back to the other two who were gapping at him like he¡¯d grown a second head at random. From the killing to now had only taken about three minutes so he quickly shrugged and asked ¡°You guys wanna split up to search or as a group?¡± With a look at each other they both said in unison ¡°Group.¡± With a cough he stuck along the walls and counters for cover then crept forward till he heard chattering in a definitely non human language that was occasionally punctuated by a gasp or sob. He peaked around the corner and almost puked right there, five or six goblins surrounded a single woman on the floor and her clothes were in tatters. At each end was a goblins thrusting into her and she was covered in a grayish-white substance that was fairly evident as to what it was. With cuts, bruises, lacerations, and more than one broken bone it was a wonder she was alive at all. He never considered himself a saint but everyone had their bottom line and this turned his stomach in more ways than one. He quickly summoned another ten goblins and mentally ordered them to overwhelm and pin down the five in the middle of the hallway with as little noise as possible. They seemed to understand his rage as they leaped out and quietly ran then swarmed the other group. They were all focussing almost exclusively on the woman so only a few confused yelps were heard and his goblins never hurt or even touched the women who lay as if she was dead on the floor where she fell. Quickly motioning the girls he sprinted to the woman and checked her pulse. It was faint but luckily she was still alive, ¡°Ashley did you get a healing skill in your starting skills?¡± He saw she was frozen and snapped ¡°Ashley she will die soon unless you answer me.¡± ¡°Y-yes but it¡¯s weak and i can only cast it twice with my mana.¡± ¡°Good cast it on her twice then kill the goblins over there. That should be just enough to level you up once. Dump your points into increasing your mana pool then do it again.¡± With a somewhat dazed nod she did as she was told and after a total of six healing spells the wounds had mostly closed except the worst one¡¯s. Luckily they were all superficial and not that deep or she would have bled out long ago. He let the girls clean her off as he scouted around them and found the trail again from some blood stains leading into what looked like a women''s bathroom. When he opened the door he had to blink repeatedly and rub his eyes. It went straight from an airport to a dank cave that reeked of urine and feces, and the trail led straight into it. He could hear the sounds of what seemed like hundreds of screams all overlapping but it was very faint. With a his he suddenly realized what had been staring him in the face all along. Where the fuck was everybody, no one unconscious, wounded, or dead, that''s what scared him the most. The average person wouldn¡¯t be able to kill these little green things if they were taken by surprise and there had to have been thousands of people in this airport when the change happened. Yet there wasn¡¯t a single body or even as much blood as he would have thought. What the fuck was going on. His bad feeling was deepening at a remarkable pace. He quickly ran back to the girls and told them what he¡¯d found. They decided to wait for a minute then wake up the other woman and see if she knew anything. He tried to scavenge some weapons while they waited for her to wake up. He ended up raiding the supply closet and breaking the handles off for makeshift spears, all the while cursing himself for leaving that metal pipe behind at the crash site. Finally duck taping three of them together he made himself a club and about a dozen spare spears. He debated more than once about using his soul hammer but the more he did the more he realized that what they needed the most wasn¡¯t one super strong person but they needed numbers most of all and his summons could play that role. He had only felt a slight twinge of something leaving him when he summoned the ten at once so he resolved to summon as many as possible when the time came. He walked around the corner just in time to hear an ear piercing scream that was quickly smothered. He broke into a sprint and tried to keep an eye on his surroundings but couldn¡¯t find anything wrong other than the obvious. Slowing as he reached the girls he could see them calmly talking to the women who he assumed was the one that screamed. ¡°Yes, we saved you and that group is dead. Plus we¡¯ve found their base and are about to go look for the others. Can you tell us what you remember? Anything from when the technology shut off and the screens appeared.¡± ¡°As soon as the lights went off everyone started shouting and it only got worse as we learned that ALL technology was shut off. It was pandemonium when the screens popped up. Everyone started panicking but after a few minutes then there was a series of flashes then Giant green monsters appeared out of the lights. They had a pinkish face and looked totally muscled. They looked confused at first they started grabbing people and taking them into the women''s bathroom. Then there was more light and what looked like miniature versions were suddenly everywhere. Some started running and tried to get away but there was even more outside. It was like a swarm of them. Everyone eventually got dragged into there, except me. I hid in a cabinet in one the food court and came out when i didn¡¯t hear anything else but I ran into those little green monsters within minutes, and you know the rest.¡± She was shuddering and shaking but her words were mostly calm and he had to praise in his heart for taking all this so well. ¡°You did well. Have you chosen you class and such?¡± The other two gave him cold looks but he ignored them ¡°Yes, I did while I was hiding. I¡¯m supposed to be a necromancer but i don¡¯t know what that fully entails. All it said was someone who can use bodies to fight for them, my skill is called lesser reanimation and minor miasmic fog¡± He nearly did a happy dance since that would probably save their lives in the up and coming fight. ¡°All right, let¡¯s go and see just what¡¯s in store fore us. Maybe we can find out why everyone was dragged into the dungeon in the first place.¡± Chapter 5- Dungeon Diving Once they were sure the area was clear they slowly entered the long and dimly lit creepy tunnel, with the screams getting increasingly loud. Soon they rounded the only corner in the ridiculously long passage and he was immediately floored by the sight. Orcs and a lot of them. The tunnel opened up into a massive cave bigger than the superbowl stadium and nearly a hundred feet high. Everywhere he looked there was a mass of green skinned bodies at least six feet tall with giant clubs sitting in groups around small fire pits or walking around. At the very back he could see two orcs even bigger than the rest standing beside some sort of altar. Another scream ripped through the air and he saw a man tied down to the altar with a knife sticking out of his chest. The altar suddenly lit up with a bloody glow and the spurting blood seemed to get sucked into the stone table as the man withered into a husk right before his eyes. There was a flash and a fist sized crystal he hadn¡¯t noticed before started glowing brightly right above the altar. Ducking back into the tunnel he turned and said to the girls. ¡°Yeah were probably screwed. Orks aren¡¯t something you can handle i don¡¯t think, I might be able but certainly not in these numbers and I doubt you guys are ready. So here¡¯s what we¡¯ll do, me and my summons will create a distraction while you guys free the captives. Once their free you get them out of here.¡± Without waiting for a reply and so he wouldn¡¯t lose his nerve he quickly snuck around the edge of the cave using the boulders strewn around as cover. Crouching behind the last boulder about forty feet from the entrance he focused harder than he ever had before. Come on THINK. The system told you that this class specialises in summoning one big badass monster instead of hordes of weak fuckers. So why did it only give you goblins and freaking imps for that purpose. In any game or book their the lowest tier of monster so what is it saying? What is the hint here? Logically speaking it was giving the basic understanding of how to summon and telling me to figure it out on my own. But the whole process only felt like I was calling something but failed and those little things came instead. With a click it all made sense. Humans didn¡¯t know that sort of thing at birth so the system had given an instinctive feel for it. And his instinct was he needed more power. He heard a grunt of surprise off to his left and threw everything into willing an enormous portal into existence. With a sound like breaking glass a rift in space opened directly in front of him, right in front of the wall that was about five feet away. Feeling like he was about to collapse as all his strength left him he used one last heave to pull the monster through. Almost twenty feet tall and ten feet wide with enormous corded muscles and slate grey skin that made him think of nothing so much as a brick shit house. Over it¡¯s chest, and legs were blackened metal he couldn¡¯t place. Instantly he felt the connection to this thing as well as how strong it was, almost in synch a notification appeared.
You have summoned a Juvenile War Troll lvl 1,549
Gifted with massive size, and strength as well as incredible regeneration at birth with none of their ancestors weakness to sunlight these massive behemoths also have incredibly slow growth rates. You have now learned what you must do to advance your understanding of your class and grow in power.
You have learned the new summon ¡®Juvenile War Troll¡¯
While everyone was suddenly looking his way and still stunned at the sudden appearance he suddenly ordered ¡°Attack the orcs. Leave none alive.¡± and so the slaughter began as the beast grabbed two nearby orcs and started using them as weapons. Bodies suddenly started flying and raining from the sky and he actually got another notification when he intently tried to examine one of the nearby orks.
Ability Analyze has been learned
Orc Soldier lvl 768
A typical orc shock trooper with high vitality and strength. Hard to kill and hits like a truck these beasts are exceedingly stupid and rely mostly on instinct and a hierarchical clan structure to follow orders.
With growing dread he turned his analyze ability on the two bigger orcs who were just coming out of their daze by the altar.
Orc Chieftain lvl 1,487
An veteran Orc who has taken over the tribe and learned the value of tactics and strategy. This Orc cannot be put in the same category as an ordinary Orc and has survived years of life and death battles.
Orc Shaman lvl 1,515
An Orc skilled in the ways of magic. This Orc is the secondary leader and spiritual support of any tribe. They are responsible for communing with their chosen deity and often sacrifice living creatures in exchange for power granted by their god.
Good God Almighty and i thought i was overpowered yet now a measly freaking Orc is about to put the smack down on my ass. If games are still applicable then Orc could only be said to be common mobs at best. This was a really bad fucking idea. He felt the blood drain from his face and did his best impersonation of a rock as he waited for his summon to die. After a few minutes of listening to the screams he peeked out again and nearly lost his jaw for the second time that day. The Orcs were getting freaking steam rolled and the only one who didn¡¯t get one shotted was the chieftain who was getting buffed and healed by the shaman. Looking around he saw a well concealed alcove on the opposite side had people streaming out of it headed for the exit. Taking a chance he watched carefully as the shaman casted his magic and focused all his senses on him. Every time he casted he would chant real quick then a pillar of fire or bolt of electricity would fly and scorch the troll. You might be reading a stolen copy. Visit Royal Road for the authentic version. The spells were certainly strong but he could only watch as almost immediately after the attack landed the wound would begin to heal. With every spell that was casted he could feel himself get closer to understanding the magic the shaman used. After almost an hour he suddenly understood like a child seeing fireworks for the first time. Mana was really just a physical manifestation of will and it was not much different than his soul energy, imposing your will itself upon reality to have the elements do your bidding was the meaning of being a magician. With a burst of comprehension he felt the mana in the air, the ground, and all around him suddenly rush into his body. It was like a gateway had suddenly opened and an additional source of energy filled his body just his soul energy did when this all started. Unlike soul energy which he visualized as a light grey he pictured this energy as a pure blue color. As he suddenly felt the power he condensed it all into a spear of ice in his right hand. He poured more and more until he started to feel dizzy again. With one quick look he launched it with all his might at the shaman. The shaman only had enough time abandon its current spell and cross it arms to defend itself. But it was no use as the spear passed straight through and nailed it to the pillar of the altar right behind it. It slowly raised its head and locked eyes with him. He saw the shock, pain, and disbelief in its eyes as blood spurted from it¡¯s mouth and the shine faded from its eyes. Without the shamans support the Chieftain fell only minutes later and rest or the orcs were already long dead by that point. As soon as the chieftain fell he got yet another surprise Ding
Dungeon of Green Sacrifice cleared
For clearing a dungeon above your level solo you have earned a bonus for your random reward for this dungeon. Claim your reward. Reward based with preference toward class ability.
Preference? Random reward? After all that? Almost without meaning too his eyes went to the glowing crystal that was now shining with a burning red light. Fuck. my lucks always been total shit when it comes to games of chance. He sighed as he walked up to the altar. Well no matter how shitty it is I got absolutely nothing right now so it won''t be completely useless. Reaching out his hand he could feel the warmth that bordered on hot coming from the crystal. As his hand closed around it he answered the prompt to claim it as yes. Ding
Congratulations you have earned the skill Soul/Mana Conversion
Due to having a class that deals primarily with the soul this skill will grant you the insight to allow your body to naturally hold mana equal to that of your soul mass. But your body will no longer absorb mana passively and must be actively absorbed.
Well holy fuck maybe my luck is turning around in this crazy ass world. With a quick thought to learn the skill he felt the mana flood his system and once again he felt like he was high on drugs but the fight had clearly shown him that while yes he may be over the top in levels and unbelievably powerful that was only by human standards and they were now very far from the top of the food chain in this new and crazy world. And also that levels only seemed to be a rough approximation of a creatures strength, like his new war troll and the orcs. The war trolls ridiculous regeneration was the only thing that saved him from death. The orcs were faster, stronger, and new magic along with skills. The only reason his troll won is because they couldn¡¯t hurt him faster than he self healed. Even without his interference they would have eventually been worn down and out of mana and he only hastened the victory. Still he was exceedingly lucky he managed to summon a creature both strong enough and tanky enough to do the job. The more he stood and thought about it the more incredible his victory seemed. With a sigh he turned and nearly jumped out of his skin again. Where the fuck did the bodies go? The hundreds of orc corpses in the cave had disappeared into thin air with only a few pieces of equipment strewn about. He walked up to where the shaman''s body was and saw a ring, a couple glass vials with some red liquid in it, and what looked like some kind of ceremonial knife. As if on its own accord another screen popped up Ding
You have gained a dimensional ring
You have gained a health potion x4
You have gained a Sacrificial Dagger
He quickly put the ring on and got another prompt.
Do you want to activate the auto loot function?
With a quick yes he suddenly saw all the items and equipment that were laying on the floor turn into streaks of light and were sucked into the ring. He heard continuous dings going off in his head but he ignored it and instead kept going through the battle notifications.
Breakthrough for the class Grand Summoner has been achieved
You have achieved a breakthrough without help from a master, skill book, guide or any form of outside outside interference. You have distinguished yourself as the forerunner for your class and earned the bonus skill ¡®Summon Meister¡¯.
You have earned the skill ¡®Summon Meister¡¯
This ability allows you to transform those you summon into a alternate item form suited for them. This ability binds the creature to your soul and empowers them to have greater effects than they would normally have. However the creature itself must be willing or you will be cursed instead.
Level up x160
You have learned the skill ¡®Ice Spear¡¯
Hmm yeah the levels are probably for doing everything pretty much solo and mostly from the bosses. Ice Spear is obvious and the Summon Meister i would guess is for just like it said. Understanding what the hell i¡¯m doing without a teacher or help. Overall it''s pretty straightforward so let''s see what this skill is cracked up to be. Turning to his new War Troll he asked ¡°Do you want to be bound to me?¡± As he asked he got the feeling that it was measuring him somehow even though its expression didn¡¯t change. Finally he saw it nod slightly and started to glow. After a few seconds it was so bright he had to shield his eyes, then he felt something heavy on his shoulders but when he looked down he now saw that he was wearing what looked like a leather sleeveless chest armor that felt custom fitted to him and he could feel the immense vitality flowing threw himself. The prompt even showed up to confirm it. Ding
You have Equipped Vestment of the War Troll
Vestment of the War Troll
This chest armor is the alternate form of the Juvenile War Troll Farken and because he was under no form of coercion and is still living he has imbued the skill War Trolls Aegis into this armor which grants the passive skills Iron Skin and Grand regeneration.(Grants passive health regeneration of 10% per minute)

After distributing his points he sighed and focused on his ring. Instantly a panel popped up with everything that the trolls dropped, which was mostly junk but he could still give it to the former captives. Picking out a few lighter armor pieces, a staff, a cloak, and a robe he headed for the exit. Unfortunately whatever blood splatter there was didn¡¯t get taken with the bodies. Ding
Congratulations you are the 9th person of you species to surpass level 1,000. Speak to any adventurer¡¯s guild representative to learn about advancement and level funding.
Holy shit there¡¯s even guilds. Wait well that was pretty easy since there¡¯s dungeons and all. Now the question is how the fuck do i find an adventurers guild and how the fuck are there nine others that got here faster than me? Sigh. Endless questions and no one to answer them. Shoving all that to the back of his head he slowly made his way out of the cave. Seeing what looked like a teenager waiting for him just outside he had a slightly blank and vacant expression and didn¡¯t speak. With a gesture he started walking didn¡¯t turn back. Soon he saw the rest of the captives nursing their wounds a few terminals away from the dungeon, several had pipes or makeshift weapons at the ready. Most were looking at what he assumed was their status screens or the tutorial because all his analyze told him was that all of them were only a lvl 1 human, without even a description. Quickly picking out the two who seemed to be the leaders he made his way over to them. ¡°-no supplies at all. If we leave we¡¯re dead no matter what without weapons, and we just don¡¯t have enough-¡± the shorter man of the two quickly shut up when he got close. ¡°I¡¯ll be damned if it isn¡¯t the crazy ass who rescued our dumbasses. I can¡¯t thank you enough sir.¡± ¡°Don¡¯t mention it. I brought you guys all weapons but the rest you¡¯ll have to scrounge for before you guys all leave. Being in a group so big will only paint a target on you for the monsters from what i¡¯ve seen. As it is I¡¯ll be leaving in the morning.¡± Seeing the slightly panicked and anxious expressions he continued. ¡°I was only passing by when I found you. I was in one of the plane wrecks outside when it all started. I don¡¯t do well in large groups either and that¡¯s only detrimental in this new survival of the fittest world, so to clean my conscious i¡¯m helping you this far.¡± After seeing them slowly nod he pointed to a corner vacant of people dumped all the extra weapons and armor before going up a set of nearby stairs to the second deck and curling up in a seat. First he did like he¡¯d read about and crossed his legs to meditate. Feeling for the mana in the air he found it surprisingly easy to manipulate to his will but soon it started to thin out and he couldn¡¯t realy strain his senses far enough to be realy effective. Pondering on he tried for a few hours without success but finally remembered about how he had talked with couple guys on his ship before he left about the worst things to run into on the sea. One of them had said tornadoes and one said whirlpools, after a lengthy argument it was eventually agreed that whirlpools won because they could draw things in for miles and if you got to close it was sure doom. Trying almost the same thing he made his will start to spin like a whirlpool and almost instantly he could feel the mana all around start flowing towards him and rush into his system. Compared to before it was like a dam had broken like a flood and rushed into his system. Help support creative writers by finding and reading their stories on the original site. Within minutes he could feel his mana pool was about the same as his soul mass and stopped drawing it in as he felt what he could hold overflowing and just leaking out again. Deciding to practice a bit he remembered about some of the better stories he¡¯d read that the MC could use his mana to continually reinforce his body. Commonly this was always referred to as cultivation and the energies used were completely different but wasn¡¯t trying to go all the way with it. If he could apply some of those techniques to enhance his body then he might stand a chance if he ran into another situation like today. Ok lets start from the basics. The skin is the first to go usually in a fight so we¡¯ll start with that. Taking a tiny strand from the ball of mana inside himself he spread as thin as possible and had it soak into his skin. Seeing the process go so well he steadily increased the amount until it felt like his skin was literally crawling with worms. He kept this pace steady for a few more hours before cutting it off just before he keeled over and collapsed with exhaustion. As he woke with a splitting headache he realized his goblins had taken turns keeping watch while he slept. With a soft smile he let go of their summoning spell and they faded out like they were never there to begin with. Quickly getting up and putting on his cloak he jumped out a nearby gate headed past the air fields. He was tempted for the city but he new it would most likely be even worse than the airport, not to mention there was a lot of bodies missing for how many were usually at an airport at any given time. He had no idea where the rest were but he definitely new he didn¡¯t want to find out. After a few hours he was getting bored so he tried to think of the principles behind magic. From what he understood it was him forcing the world to create phenomena through his will but understanding the principles behind it greatly boosted its effectiveness and cut down its cost. It was still 90% instinctive for him but he hoped to strike a balance in the future. He was nearly dead center in the middle of the airfield by this point and suddenly his hair stood on end. Never one to doubt his instincts he dropped into a defensive stance immediately strained his senses to see exactly what had set off his danger sense. He just couldn¡¯t tell what it was but he knew something was there. Half instinct and half sixth sense he used his hands to reinforce a knee block as he spun. To fast to even see something crashed into him so hard he flew over thirty meters and it shattered his knee. Gritting his teeth against the wave of pain he managed to land on his good leg and dug his hands into ground to halt his skid. Looking back to where he was standing he couldn¡¯t say who was more surprised, him or the elf standing there with a fist outstretched. It was obvious that was her attack and he could see why it hurt so bad, her body looked like it was carved entirely of sinewy muscle that just screamed explosive power. From what he knew elves were supposed to be elegant and graceful to the point even their guys looked to a one like pretty boys, yet this amazon clearly broke that stereotype into quite a few pieces. He didn¡¯t get long to stare though before he threw himself left and just barely avoided a flashed that pierced where his heart just was. Without a second to spare he burned almost half his mana and casted ice spear like with the shaman yesterday but instead of just his strength he used what little he could understand about fire to create an explosion to propel the spear beyond the sound barrier, which fortunately created a huge cloud of smoke. He quickly took off as the bones in his leg snapped back into place. Putting everything into the last ditch effort to get away he ran faster than he ever had in his life before, but his fears were confirmed as another elf with a spear appeared seemingly out of thin air a hundred yards in front of him. Coming to a stop he sighed got ready for a fight he knew he¡¯d lose. He reinforced his body as best he could and waited. ¡°What the hell ye fools doin, ya dolts.¡± He almost gasped as what he could only call a dwarf now appeared out a hole in the ground that definitely wasn¡¯t there a few seconds ago. ¡°Testing a hunch and we were right. He¡¯s the one that caused such a stir in the mana last night. Looks to be from the local race that was just assimilated and although its crude he¡¯s already got the mana level of someone at the master realm. And yet not only that but he could feel Elsa before she made her move then dodged my spear from his blind spot. As if that¡¯s not enough my skill is telling me his class is a soul based summoner variant, which means he hasn¡¯t even used his main skills yet and still took a punch from Elsa which is completely healed right now.¡± The more he talked the more it sounded like a kid trying to defend his actions in front of his parent. Without a doubt it was strange as he finally calmed down he saw that at least these two followed the general stereotype that he new. The dwarf was built like a four foot tall brick shit house and the elf could only be described as gorgeous. With a twist and duck he avoided the wild punch from behind by a hair''s breadth and land a bone breaking counter into her stomach. His arm crumpled like tinfoil and at this point they were nose to nose and all he got out was a quick ¡°Dammit.¡± before darkness took him. He had used every last ounce of his mana in that final blow and it had a similar effect to exhausting his soul mass, which was being knocked unconsciousness. He was confused when he eventually woke up, not because his hands and feet were tied but because he woke up at all. Pretending to play dead he quickly spread out his senses but couldn¡¯t find his captors. With a groggy groan he sat up and wasn¡¯t surprised when he saw them all sitting around a campfire moving and talking like normal but it was like he could only use his eyes. He couldn¡¯t smell, hear, taste, or feel anything. Finally seeing him awake an orc he didn¡¯t recognize from before walked and grabbed him before dragging him over to the fire pit. The amazon snapped her fingers and suddenly he could use his other senses again, but holy shit was he sore. He felt like he just got processed through a meat grinder then roller over by a car. Refusing to show any discomfort he waited for one of them to talk. After a few moments they all started grinning at each other before the dwarf from before smirked then coughed in his fist before talking. ¡°I know we got off on a piss poor foot thanks to the battle happy lunatics I call companions, but before you hold a grudge let¡¯s talk rationally for a minute alright. Name¡¯s Grom and i¡¯m the party leader for our little band of misfits. The Uruk is named Resha, the spear elf is Nina the muscle bound freak is Darla-¡± ¡°Hey¡± ¡°-and the assassin looking ice queen is our resident mage Corona.¡± He gestured over at the other woman he didn¡¯t recognize that hadn¡¯t moved or spoken since his waking up. The orc looked like a model except green skin and canines coming out of her lip, although for some reason he still found them attractive. The ice queen looked like she was a CEO of some huge company that slept her way to the top, except with eyes that didn¡¯t give two fucks about anything and a disconnected expression. From there names only the dwarf was a guy while the others were all girls... interesting. Without saying a word he quickly and carefully examined them for any sign of hostility. Finding none he said ¡°Ok let¡¯s start with the most obvious questions then work our way down. What do you want from me?¡± With a slightly surprised expression the dwarf replied ¡°Because we have a good hunch that you took down are pray. A friend of mine told me that there was a mana reading for a brand new tier 2 dungeon in the area but right as we accepted the scouting mission the signal disappeared. So now we¡¯re here to find who or what cleared out the dungeon but then as we were making camp last night all the mana in the region suddenly started getting drawn away right towards where we were heading. Imagine our surprise when a tier two nobody from the local race crossed our line of sight. So from their they decided to test you and see if you were who you seemed. Thus here we stand.¡± ¡°While that does answer a few of my unasked questions it still fails to answer my original.¡± With steadily growing suspicions his eyes narrowed and the dwarf made a show of stroking his beard but his quick questioning glance at the Ice queen confirmed his suspicions. ¡°Well that''s because we wanted know who you are and what the dungeon gave you.¡± ¡°I¡¯m sure you do, next question. Do you know at least along the general lines what has happened and will be happening to this world in the future?¡± Suddenly he now had everyone¡¯s full attention, by which he gathered that particular question was quit far from normal. Chapter 7 - Just how weak am I Under their intense looks and surprised eyes the bad premonition he¡¯d been subconsciously trying to avoid had been proven correct. The apocalypse had only been the beginning. ¡°So I was right. This is only the start of something much worse.¡± As they were looking at each other he starting to think that this so-called apocalypse wasn¡¯t as simple as he had first assumed. Looking into the flames he thought back to the first message he got but came up blank. It was very open ended and didn¡¯t outright say almost anything so did that mean that only the system itself wasn¡¯t going to do anything but anyone else could? There wasn¡¯t enough information for anything other than conjecture and guesswork. Though it still pisses me off that the she hulk trumped me like that. Fucking hell I¡¯m pissed and keeping a straight face just makes me more pissed. Alright let''s go with another option. Looking back up he stared straight into the ice queens eyes and said ¡°So since you didn¡¯t kill me and from what I understand it was mostly the muscled idiot over there who took action without consent then how about me and her have another go at it. If I win you take me back to this adventurers guild or wherever you took that mission from and if she wins I tell you what I got from the dungeon willingly plus whatever other questions you have and one demand of yours.¡± Out of them all the Corona looked the most surprised and none spoke for a good minute but i kept eyes on her since her reaction would tell me the others decisions. Finally ¡°How did you guess I was the party leader?¡± Even with his natural resistance to beautiful women he almost signed at how beautiful her voice was and had to shake himself out of it to answer. ¡°Very few are stupid enough to voluntarily point out the leader to a complete stranger in a world where might makes right. And I noticed his glance over at you before as though reflexively asking permission. Following that line of thought it''s not that easy to get a harem going all around only one guy but if that guy is only a toy for the others then the story changes.¡± He had to forcefully stifle his laugh as they all looked at each other in shock. With any remotely sentient creature the women usually were the ones on top with humans as the sole exception, which he¡¯d always found kinda dumb in the first place since women were usually better at almost everything except fighting and even then he new more than a few that could give even him a run for his money. The more he watched the more it seemed like they were having a silent conversation, No they are having a conversation, telepathy? After a minute or so their eyes focused on him. The Ice beauty nodded and said ¡°Your terms are agreeable and it will work well as compensation for you if that''s all you want?¡± ¡°Yeah. That will work fine.¡± Then he got up and stretched for a second as the woman took practice punches and equip a set of sleek black gauntlets and shin guards.
System Dual Mode activated
Perfect. After a minute or two he took a zero stance, which was basically just standing tall with his arms and legs loose and limbered, he could see that she didn¡¯t see him as an opponent and he was going to capitalize the shit out of that. Someone snapped their fingers and he forced his mana to flood his system but formed the type into electricity. The world came to a near halt and the Elf woman seemed to appear in a half crouch almost a foot in front of him throwing a punch in almost slow motion but his body would barely move. With a sudden inspiration he expanded the lightning through his skin and muscles as well so he could have his body follow his mind and discharge anything left over through his skin into whatever he hit. Flowing his body around the punch he raised his knee and lowered his elbow onto hers simultaneously as her punch went by. As he released the electricity through his skin he felt her nerves become temporarily overcharged and useless. Moving faster than even she could follow he switched around to her back and launched a lower roundhouse kick into her side then flipped over her right shoulder to launch a spinning uppercut into the gap just below her chest cavity. Suddenly he felt the world return to normal speed and felt his mana hit one percent. The world seemed to freeze as an expression of disbelief appeared on the buff chicks face. He felt his body lock up and went to one knee as the backlash of pushing both his magic and body that hard. It had only been a theory at first because he knew that the brain runs on electrical signals and since there was magic now then their body had to have changed somehow but it was a literal shot in the dark. Suddenly he felt hands propping him up as a thump registered next to him. It was his opponent, and she was out cold. ¡°Guess that means I win.¡± and then he followed right after. After what felt like an eternity he finally woke up and the first thing he realized was that he was in an actual bed, the second was that he was in his birthday suit. Looking around it was quit spartan with just a closet a bed and a small counter behind the door. Groaning at the massive wave of pain that shot through his head he waited for it to die down before putting his clothes back on. He opened the door and the smell of food hit him like a slap to the face. Following his nose and rationalizing it as where there was such heavenly smelling food there had to be people he stepped past a set of stairs going up at the end of the hallway and found himself in a huge common room. What looked like fifty tables loosely spaced between them with between four and six chairs apiece. A huge bar ran the entire length of one wall with a notice board sectioned into four parts running along the other. ¡°Judging by the lost and confused look on yer face you must be the local that Corona¡¯s team brought back totally unconscious.¡± Behind a second counter just to his right he saw what had to be a model for felines in human form. Standing at about five feet four inches with sunny blond hair and neon green eyes with vertical slit pupils and cat ears on top of her head she gave off an air of the ¡®don¡¯t fuck with me if you value your life¡¯ caliber but still felt approachable and easy to talk to. Unconsciously he muttered ¡°How the fuck do you get an aura like that?¡± She jumped like he had stepped on her tail as she said ¡°How are you reading my aura? That shouldn¡¯t be possible without your awakening, and your clearly in need of your test.¡± Seeming to shake herself out of it she says ¡°As you might have guessed this is the adventurers guild headquarters for the area. From what I hear your world has legends and stories about it but for the most part their only partly true so let me guide you through the explanation.¡± Guurgle. With a smirk she added ¡°After we get you something to eat.¡± Taking him over to the bar she had him sit and grabbed something from below the counter. With a wave of steam the source of the smell appeared before him. A small mountain of meat and vegetables spread liberally with some kind of sweet smelling sauce heaped on a plate bigger than his chest. Without further ado he dug in like a ravenous hobo that had been starved for weeks on end. Soon all the food was gone but he was feeling unbelievably sated. With a chuckle she continued where they left off. Seeming to fall into full teacher mode she made a cute little cough into her fist as she starts ¡°Ok, the board you see over there is the quest board where you can take any number or type of quest from the usual subjugation type or running deliveries to different recipients. It can be really anything that a member or former member can pay for but many of the most difficult are guild funded so they usually pay better. For certain circumstances like if a member was captured or targeted then the guild may cover the cost. On this floor we only have the F rank quests but since you were unanimously recommended by Corona¡¯s full team then you will be able to immediately take the test for E rank when we put you through your awakening. Usually the guild will not interfere with the daily life of those who are a member but sometimes the guild will directly order you or request you to do different tasks they believe you are well suited for, of course the compensation is fair as well. The ranks go as such, from weakest to strongest they are F, E, D, C, B, A, G, S, SS, SSS, M, MM, MMM. From the research we have gained from your world so far then starting at D class would be considered as a superhuman, I believe is the term. C class would be along the lines of ¡®one man army¡¯ is the term I think, from there on you don¡¯t have anything I¡¯m familiar with to quantify it for you. For now let¡¯s go and get you tested for affinity and awaken you so if you would please follow me.¡± He could only follow her in a daze, he¡¯d half expected it when he met those elfs and that dwarf but having it confirmed was something else. So the jump between just D and C class is superhuman to one man army? If it''s that much of a qualitative change then what the fuck about the rest? What about Demigods, Demons, Dragon, Monsters, or even Gods? Do they not even have a place in the scale? Oh dear god, this is definitely what the frog in the well felt like when he climbed out of the well. He cut off that train of thought though because they walked to the end of a hallway and entered a door into some sort of arena that definitely put the one in rome to shame. For at least a mile all he could see was smooth stone surrounded by a fifty foot high stone wall with stone benches for hundreds of thousands of people going all around the arena. There were a few sparing bouts going on but he could just barely see the tell tale flashes of light from weapons and armor but everything else going too fast for him to see. Standing near the middle was what looked like a lion man with an oversized pair of gauntlets and several weapon racks close by. Coming closer he could see that all the weapons were blunted but otherwise they were just as real as anything else here. A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation. ¡°Yo-Ho Johanes I brought you more fresh m- I mean another non awakened for the test.¡± All I could do is stare at the receptionist and she could probably feel it cause she just kept fidgeting and looking everywhere but at me. ¡°Ah just what I needed to break this monotony, then come and put yer hand on this stone boy. It¡¯ll give us a general feeling on where your magical and physical abilities are at.¡± Doing as they say he put his hand against the crystal and his status page popped up but this one was above the crystal. As they read through it they both grew more and more flabbergasted by the second. Then they started reading through his notifications on the side. Suddenly they relaxed and simultaneously said ¡°So that''s how it is.¡± Yet he was still in the dark as to what they were even panicking for. Until the lion man started talking again. ¡°Ok kid I think I understand the general scope of your situation but I¡¯ll be damned if I¡¯ve ever seen a bloodline like yours kid, that penalty is no joke. But still seeing what it gave you at the first five percent mark I can roughly understand why. Still it''s gonna make it far harder for you to get stronger in the short term. Now, I can see why you got recommended by that crazy bunch for E rank so quickly. Seeing your class I can¡¯t really help you except for having Mary here give you some basic mana manipulation skill books and a profession that will double as training the rest you will have to figure out largely on your own. Your class is just too rare for a small branch like ours to really have any information pertaining to it. They explained your own unique circumstances already as well as the others in that building near where you were found and are shepherding them here as we speak. For now let¡¯s get you your guild card while Mary explains the rules of being an adventurer. I take it you wish to join?¡± When he nodded he left with the receptionist and went back to the front counter. ¡°So for the basic rules we really only have four that are heavily enforced. One is to treat your fellow members with the respect they are due as sentient beings, two anyone who specifically requests asylum from us will vetted by the officers of the guild and only they know who they are. If they are granted then no guild member will try to harm them and do their best to aid them in times of need. Three is that the guilds orders will always be handed through someone with the minimum rank of officer or staff, the only other way is through the guild badge message telling you to return from your current assignment immediately. And four is that you will never kill someone inside the guild building, anything less is allowed except deliberate torture. Other than these there is only one Iron clad rule that must be followed. There are many kinds of strength but they all share one thing in common ¡®Might makes right¡¯ in this world.¡± She said that last one with a look that in no uncertain terms said there will always be someone stronger and only fools sought trouble where there is none. With a simple nod he conveyed that he understood the gravity of her words. With a smile that said many things and a wink that seemed more than a little mischievous he became abruptly aware of several hostile gazes from behind. Not wanting to make further trouble he just waited for her to come back with his new books. When she did and held out the books he reached his hands up and knocked her gently on the head while saying ¡°Don¡¯t make needless trouble for others and thanks for the books.¡± Without another word he chose a secluded seat roughly halfway across the room. Opening the book he felt the knowledge rush into him.
Congratulations you have learned the ability Mana Augmentation
Congratulations you have learned the spell Mana Barrier
Congratulations you have learned the ability Elemental Augmentation
Congratulations you have opened the Advanced profession tree Necromancer
Necromancer
A Tier 2 profession that takes the motto of ''your loss is my gain'' to the extreme. Necromancers are few and far between but are almost universally powerful mages that utilize the corpses of enemies as battle puppets. The stronger the mage the stronger the undead under their control and with a keen understanding of the energies of life and death they make a terrifying foe and peerless ally because of their flexibility in how they can apply their magic.
With a hiss of indrawn breath he came out of the stupor and Immediately looked towards the receptionist who was giving him a confused and blank look when she saw his stunned and incredulous expression. With utmost caution he got up and went back over before asking the uses of the Augmentation and barrier magic. Not fully understanding his meaning she told about how they were basic spells that almost every mage learned that taught the principles about how magic interacted both inside and outside the body. She was completely oblivious about how with a few alterations the augmentations could adapt a body to be completely immune to lower level spells and even use mana to bolster their physical body once you understood and adapted the principles. Feeling beyond giddy he returned to his room and started very, very carefully experimenting on how to increase the performance of his body. After only two or three hours he started to see results as his body was repeatedly strained past its limits and healed just as fast. He opened his eyes to yet another massive DING
Congratulations you have discovered your first way to enhance your physical body without the aid of the system. Each progressive increase will be more difficult however and your body has not yet fully acclimated to the previous influx of status points, would you like to speed the process? Note: the current level of your body will essentially be magnified by 15 times and the probability of death and/or permanent mental harm is above 80%
He already knew his answer so taking a minute to slice a few strips off the few pieces of leather armor he had forgotten about from the dungeon and made himself a pure leather bit tied it tightly in place in his mouth. Mentally preparing himself as best he could he hit the soundproofing button by his door he hadn¡¯t noticed till then and hit yes, Almost simultaneously a slow and deep burn started in every cell of his body. At first it was tolerable but it kept increasing exponentially until he was constantly on the edge of blacking out but he knew that he would die if he gave in now. With everything he could bring to bear he stopped trying to hold in the screams and maintained his half conscious state, letting the system do its work. Eventually the darkness and his screaming died down and he actually woke up fully. Just the act of standing sends floods of strength he had never felt before coursing through his muscles. The world seemed slightly different but that was primarily because he was taller by about six inches. Other than being slightly larger he didn¡¯t feel too different, probably because his stats were all almost equally increased. He felt faster, stronger, and heavier than before. Like he had more mass than would be normal for a human his size. He quickly pulled up his status.

Hmm, main reason that went so well is probably because of the health regeneration. Other than that everything gained quite a few points and Intelligence is now unlocked I see, but it probably only helps me on the cognitive and practical level instead of mana capacity and such. With that sorted he realized he was just starting to get hungry again which startled him quit a bit since he¡¯d eaten enough to feed a family of four from before. Wow must have taken longer than I had thought. Ah well that just leaves more time today for getting a feel of the place. Now then let¡¯s see about my guild card and what being an adventurers all about. He couldn¡¯t help but give a childish grin as he thought of all the possibilities the future would hold. Chapter 8- Taking a sniff though he amended that thought. Pew, the future can wait till after a bath. He smelled like a soldier fresh off the battlefield, wreaking of blood and sweat. Turning left this time he found the washroom at the end of the hall with a side room for his gear. Quickly stripping and grabbing a bar of soap from a shelf along the wall turned a spigot and washed at least the top layer off before he got in the steaming hot pool. With a sigh he sat down till only his head was above water and let the heat draw out what kinks were left after his little ¡®upgrade¡¯. Shortly he could hear a couple voices coming out of the changing room but he hadn¡¯t seen any sign for male or female so he had assumed it was mixed gender. Sure enough an orc, and elf soon walked in with only their birthday suits on but completely ignored him so he did the same. Soon he felt suitably clean so he got up and made his way back to the changing room. Taking a spare set of clothes from the ring he tossed the rest in their place and headed for the counter. There were alot more people now but the place still didn¡¯t feel too crowded so he just waited his turn in line. Soon it was his turn and she seemed to have been waiting for him. ¡°We got a little worried when we didn¡¯t see you for a full day but your guild card is here and ready.¡± It was a fully black card with a bronze letter E on it so he took it and almost dropped it as she said ¡°So it seems like you went the hard way and quickened your stats. Very well done, not many have the guts to do that at your level but you probably don¡¯t have the greatest control yet so stop by the arena for a spar and help you with that. Of course, I¡¯ll need some compensation on your part.¡± He wouldn¡¯t have minded but as he looked up to answer he caught her licking her lips with a hungry gleam in her eyes. ¡°Um yeah, I¡¯d appreciate that.¡± Her eyes lit and she said ¡°Meet me in the arena in about ten minutes.¡± As he walked back he could catch more than a couple pitying looks out of the corner of his eye from a few people who were close enough to hear. That was when he started to get nervous. He made his way to the central platform and started looking at the weapons but none really appealed to him until at the very back he saw what could only be considered a monster of a weapon. He had a total and complete fanboy moment because it looked almost exactly like the starting weapon of his all time favorite game called Monster Hunting 101. It was called the Jaw Blade and its one and only purpose was to completely overwhelm things hundreds of times bigger than you. Just by size and thickness alone it had to weigh at least a few hundred pounds, but as soon as he picked it up he could feel how right it was in his hands and the system apparently agreed.
Congratulations you discovered a natural affinity with the weapon class ¡®Monster Weapons¡¯
You have a basic knowledge of how to use all monster class weapons and they weigh 10% less when you wield them but have 10% more impact
Fucking sweeeeeet, totally a dream come true. Just then he caught sight of the receptionist in what looked like barbarian style half plate armor walk up with a battle axe whose head was bigger as her torso. ¡°I see you also like the big guns. You compensating for something?¡± He only grinned at her obviously teasing tone. ¡°Wanna compare?¡± She freezes for a second the grins a bit more hungrily this time. ¡°I thought you¡¯d never ask.¡± They walked about twenty feet to the left of the weapon racks and got in a ready position. Him with the greatsword trailing just off the dirt behind him and her with the axe cocked at about chest height ready to swing. With a grin he took the initiative and bolted forward, she did the same and they met with a full powered swing in the middle. The power cracked the stone under them but both stayed firmly in place. The receptionist had a stunned look on her face before the grin came back ten times more hungry than before. He felt a chill as he suddenly felt the stone under him crack and start to give as he was pushed back. A red glow had started to surround the woman as she broke his stance and sent him flying about ten feet before he rolled back to his feet but she was fast and had closed the distance to almost half that by the time he landed. His blood started to hum as his battle intent soared. He guessed she had used some sort of skill and if that was the case he wouldn¡¯t hold back either. Quickly propelling himself into a front flip he halted her charge early as he brought the greatsword down in a massive power slam, her momentum carried straight into the path of the swing. It was stopped dead though as her upswing met with it and held. Quickly rolling over into a crouch he landed behind her and immediately launched a back hand as her axe came around to follow but it didn¡¯t really have any momentum so it got knocked away. But that wasn¡¯t the end, using the momentum to build on itself he continued the swing and kept the pressure. Every time she countered with increasing strength but was continually knocked away by his increasing momentum. When she was off balance a few moves latter he did another flip and powerslam combo but this one was ten times stronger and faster than the first one. He knew something was wrong when she dropped axe and caught the blade barehanded. The ground ten feet around them caved in and cracks spread even past that but even though her muscles and bones all popped she still withstood it. Keeping her grip she threw the jaw blade and it was either follow or let go so he took the latter. No sooner did he hit the ground then she was throwing punches and kicks meant to cripple him. Fortunately he had his own self made martial arts and he could fight her evenly even though she was obviously stronger and faster. It was at that point that he realized they were both laughing. Cackling like maniacs they traded blows that made the dust in the air billow outwards. Finally he couldn¡¯t keep up the tempo and she landed the final hit. It was a straight punch to his chest that caved it in entirely launched him a good fifty feet before he finally rolled to a stop. He dealt with the pain as his chest healed and people crowded around him, finally he felt a pop and his chest inflated again. With a gasp and a groan he sat up and was surprised at the ring of mostly women standing around him. Finally someone said ¡°Holy shit this guys regeneration is fucking insane.¡± And just like that a wave of exclamations arose until a certain feline walked up and without further ado threw him over a shoulder like a sack of grain. Doing nothing for his pride she skipped out of a side exit to the arena. Entering what he assumed was her room he got promptly tossed on the bed. Finally looking around it wasn¡¯t anything like his room and actually was about five times the size. Filled with miscellaneous items tucked everywhere he got the feeling of well traveled but neat freak as well. With almost every free surface holding some sort of candle or lighting and all the walls holding an assortment of oversized weapons. Looking back towards the hungry woman at the door he heard a click and saw the sound proof button start glowing. Other than the ears and tail she looked almost no different than a human girl except the claws instead of nails on her hands. And she was currently striping with record speed. If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. As she did he saw multiple scars from numerous battles all across her skin but rather than detract from it they added highlights to her beauty in his eyes. Looking at the erect nipples and glistening womanhood he could only gulp until he looked at her eyes then started get slightly worried because they were glowing vibrant red and he could now see a pair of small horns wrapping back around her head from the temples. But seeing her panting the only thing that came to mind was. ¡°So do you want me to handle my clothes or you?¡± With a good lip lick she almost growled ¡°Definitely me.¡± Feeling fairly good for having the roles reversed for once he just held up a hand and slowly beckoned with a finger. With increasingly rapid and heavy pants she slowly took first his shirt then his pants off, and finally pushed him back onto the bed before taking his dick deep into throat all at once. He couldn¡¯t suppress a gasp as she rapidly bobbed her head and worked her tongue around his tip. When he finally blew she only moaned and swallowed it all. But even through the haze of pleasure he could see the red glow in her eyes getting brighter. ¡°A delicious appetizer and now for the main course.¡± Without even a quick reprieve she mounted and started to tease his cock with the edge of her labia before finally sliding it all in on one go. Now it was her turn to gasp in pleasant surprise. ¡°Oooh your even better than predicted. Don¡¯t let me down now newbie.¡± He just groaned in ecstasy and thrust up as she came down. This time she came first and it was a full blown seizure level orgasm as her eyes rolled back and her entire body convulsed on top of him which then sent him over as well. When they finally came down the glow in her eyes were like flashlights now. ¡°My turn.¡± He said and flipped her over before repeatedly driving himself home. After that he did every position he could think of, from reverse cowgirl to lazy man to the 69 he had completely exhausted his extensive repertoire from his navy days. Finally she collapsed on his chest while they both gasped for breath. He¡¯d lost count of how many times they both came but he finally ended her on the reverse cat. They were both hardly conscious by this point since they both were too stubborn to concede defeat. Which in this case turned out great. When he finally woke up the smell hit him like a slap to face so he gently maneuvered her onto his side and went to take a shower. Somehow his clothes had gotten shredded so took his last clean set from his spacial ring and stepped into the smaller version of the bath he had used before. After soaking for a minute he scrubbed and got cleaned up, then heard his stomach growling so he went and shook his bed partner awake. She wasn¡¯t wanting to get out of bed so he got a little mean started playing with her weak spot at the base of her tail. He let her grab on and noticed her horns were gone and her eyes were back to normal. Since he wasn¡¯t dressed yet either he carried her into the bath and had another round, much slower this time though. Eventually they got dressed and went back to the main hall. She took a spot at an empty portion of the desk while he walked up to the quest board. All of them from F rank and most of the E rank were things like guiding humans to the guild or making deliveries but one of the harder ones was for hunting a monster called Tregaloaps and it was basically a cross between a lizard and a snake and was about ten to fifteen feet long with a mild paralysis poison according to the flyer. Grabbing the quest he took it to the front counter and talked to a different girl this time. ¡°A-are you sure you want this quest? This is quite dangerous for a beginner, especially one without a party.¡± ¡°I¡¯m sure and don¡¯t worry miss. I can handle it.¡± ¡°Alright but remember it¡¯s better to fail the quest than to die for it. Let me get your receipt.¡± Soon he walked out of the building under the worried eyes of the new receptionist. He saw the universal sign of the anvil and hammer for blacksmiths just down the street and headed there for a weapon since he currently didn¡¯t have one. Before he walked in he could hear the clangs of hammers landing on hot metal and the curses of the blacksmiths. Pushing through the door he saw a counter with a slender dark elf behind it. As soon as he walked in her eyes narrowed like a cat looking at a fresh food. He got chills but didn¡¯t show anything as he walked up and said ¡°I¡¯d like to get fitted for a Monster weapon, preferably a greatsword.¡± Almost without hesitation she said ¡°You can¡¯t afford it. Would you like a payment plan or to rent?¡± ¡°Payment please.¡± ¡°How long until you expect to start making payments?¡± ¡°Less than seven days.¡± ¡°Very well, please follow me.¡± After jotting it all down in a small booklet she put in her pocket he followed her to a side room and followed her directions. After about ten minutes she was done ¡°It will be done by tomorrow morning please return then.¡± ¡°Thank you. I will come back then.¡± He left and continued looking around until he eventually found a clothes shop, an armory, a leather worker, and a store that sold preserved foods before returning to the guild. It was getting late into the afternoon so he headed back to the guild and grabbed dinner before hitting the shower once again and crashing into the bed. First thing next morning he got dressed and went to the blacksmith again. This time a young man not much older than him was at the desk. ¡°I¡¯m here to pick up my weapon under the name Niko Bolas.¡± without a word he reached under the desk and set it on the counter. Made of some type of bone it had a two feet wide with a wedged edge and was a half a foot thick. The hilt was an eighth of an inch thick rounded steel wrapped in plain leather and a five foot long blade with a flat tip it was anything but fancy yet it seemed to exude an aura that said ¡®don¡¯t take me lightly¡¯. He took the sheath from the young man and fastened it to draw over his right shoulder sliding in into it place he nodded and left the desk. On his way down the street a few pairs of less than friendly eyes followed. Not even an hour from the town he angled left towards where the token started to lightly glow. This was how the guild kept track of where and when a quest was both registered and completed. Not even five minutes later he stopped and drew his weapon as a man with duel swords seemed to fade into sight about ten feet in front of him. They stood sizing each other up as one came from the right and two more from the back. One of them started laughing and said ¡°Kid since I¡¯m lenient and merciful I¡¯ll give you one chance to keep your life. Strip and drop your gear then walk away. Hahaha¡± Huh, your stereotypical bully who makes his living scamming newbies and selling their stuff and when they can¡¯t pay for it they turn to crime and the cycle continues. I just might throw up if I saw this in a game because its just too cliche. Cycling his mana to boost the power behind his strikes he simply bolted towards the one on the right who barely managed to cross his daggers to block even though it didn¡¯t do much. He was forcefully ripped in half just below the chest and the blood splattered away from him all over the trees and grass. Continuing the spin into a pirouette he caught another guy trying to backstab him and he got the same treatment. The laughing guy was was screaming something now but he turned it out and bolted towards him instead. Taking one step forward he added mana to the force behind his strike and sent a shockwave ripping towards them as they stood there dumbfounded. They dove aside at the last second and when they stood he was already swinging into a diagonal slash that tore through the laughers partner from right shoulder to left hip. He turned just in time to see a flash of light as the last one disappeared. Announcement- Not a Chapter Hey guys, so I know a lot of you guys have been eagerly awaiting for the next chapter a fix to the last chapter but today I''m actually here to let you all know that when I released the last chapter it was rushed, poorly thought out, and crippling to the MC''s future developement so I will be redoing it eventually. All in all it was tottal crap and I can''t apologize enough for that but now it feels almost like a forshadowing really because I just found out today that my life has completely changed. I''m not gonna bore you all with the details but the short version is my dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and only has a month or possibly two left and on top of that my uncle is now in critical condition and going through open heart surgery so I won''t be able to write anything within the forseable future for this book as my mental state is sevearly shaken by these events. However the silver lining in this scenario is that I will soon be making a new story as a sort tribute to my dad. I''m not sure what to call it quite yet but it will be set in the same world as this one but don''t get your hopes to high because the MC will be very dark and probably quite brutal as that is the type that my dad used to like reading about because his philosophy has always been along the lines of ''When they stand behind you give them protection, When they stand beside you give them due respect, When they stand against you show no mercy. Because kindness to the enemy is cruelty to yourself.'' So again I''m sorry for letting you down, I read every post and it makes me happy to see all of you reading my books but in an effort not to betray your expectations I feel this is the best course of action to take for the time being. This novel''s true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there. This is by no means the end of the Hybrid summoner but it will be put on hold for a time so I will be looking forward to your revews and comments in my next book. Once again thanks for all your support.
