《Not your so called hero story》
Chapter 0.01
Chapter 1.01
SLAGGEDFIRE''s Criticism
Their shouts rang like a ear bursting bell with Loskai''s skull, his mother''s screaming at his father in the grey old memory. The scene was dull and mocked the fear and anxiety that everyone was feeling at the time.
Why were they fighting? What was the problem? I didn''t know back then since we were kept oblivious to the matter till the moment when were moved away.
I was confused, scared, sad. Such basic emotions that sounds nothing more than a joke out loud by a kid who seems older than he is.
I''m not gonna say something so common and normal as; We are all born innocent, and we were all one big fucking happy family once a upon a time.
However it was undeniable that when me and Rayval was one unit, and our parents as one dragon. The family wasn''t boarder-edge of despair.
But all that change when the new member was a stranger. Everyone though the new baby was our fathers alone, as if it was impossible to not be his.
But even lovers lie to each other.
Father didn''t hide his harem behind mother''s back. He never impregnated them too. Yet, as much as he made that clear. Mother showed no intention of revealing her lover(s). And there it was, its child.Reading on this site? This novel is published elsewhere. Support the author by seeking out the original.
A mistake on her part that she didn''t know her lover tampered with his and her protection. Or was it?
It was days of revelations that the week was called by info breakers. When dark scandals were exposed.
The fact I was born was a mistake. Noone knew she was pregnant with me and when she want to throw the newborn far away in a dumpster, father was able to catch her in the last moment. That father was inflicted with an embrassing disease,Peyronie''s disease which made his cock crooked.
The one originally residing the Galloway gang house was me and father after the other half of us were kicked out. Regardless of father''s brutality, he was a gentleman. His harem knew loved that part more than his cock. And mother was left with a warm but distant depart.
It''s clear how it comes closer to the present. There are those who were and still is bewitched by her looks, now part of her harem, that was hidden amongst father''s deadly gang.
While she was mobile and flexible, having spys and secret lovers causing unrest within the house. Father was trapped inside his own fortress. Julius Caesar redone again.
I was at school at the moment it happened, and it seems like there were others that wanted the 13 year old me spared.
She was the definition of she-devil. It was sudden and swift. I only knew about it when I saw his head in the rusting black speartop-fence, a crimson fall of blood slithering down the pole. One took pity of the crying child outside and told him about the treachery.
Matevz was his name.
Father only survived two years after the divorce. His inheritance shifted from me to Rayval as I was assumed missing and could only claim it in court. As if they''ll let me have it.
Worserstill, she was converting into a modern feminist! Arranged marriage. Father was blinded by her beautifully done act of being his dream wife, though she loved him as she feed him, hugged and kissed him.
Mother only needed Rayval, one son. Despite being second son I resembled father a lot more, the opposite to my now two siblings. She didn''t need me, my very existence bothered her greatly. But at least father wanted me.
Chapter 1
Chapter One
This World Bothers Me
There was a short wired yellow alarm clock that was armed and facing towards Loskai direction. And if that little ancient device could think, it would be along the lines of, ''Hey lazy cunt! Leaving me awake all this time you better give me a good ahegao when I cum!'' Or something like that.
A sharp shriek erupted from the small thing and a groan murmured back in response from the boy.
His eyes shut firmly, he slowly received his body from the bless comfort and began to feel the hell of rough textures of what he slept in.
From memory alone he knew the alarm was quite distant from where he was and what drawer it sat so snuggly on.
After a few more moments he was up and breaking crust of his mediocre breakfast while keeping his head on the time.
He noted that it was over an hour that the time his diligent older brother wakes up, back in the large house of their mother which was a long way from his apartment. Nevertheless, that didn''t stop him from seeing him at times.
The buttered toast and fruit slices was the usual food he ate during this time, anything else and it would be punching his stomach later on.
Opening a cupboard in the kitchen, he took out his glasses, wallet and key before pulling out the platform they were on along with him.
Walking across the hallway, there was a bit few more people in this building than usual. Hoodies, caps and blankets were over the heads of some of the tolerated leechers sucking hard on the wall.
But there were a extras on the pathway, strangers to this turf.
An exceptions?
Strangers don''t last more than a minute in these parts of town, already too many filth laying around and nobody wants more.
Loskai straighten his uniform and held his skateboard as well as his sack tight.
Both sides were blocked by the extras and they were by no means small. So the closest stairs was a clear choice, it did change that he have to climb over them if he went the other way.
Before the sleeping lumps, the fimilars to the building gave enough room for him to walk unhindered. Once he was at the lumps, Loskai bounced on his toes as he measures his ability.
Too fucking big. He thought with annoyance.
Putting space between him and the lump, he sprint as close to the space of the path and leaped onto the wall near him when he was upon the giant sleeping lump.
The impact was soft and the wall was made of rough grit, giving him an advantage for another jump.
While briefly contemplating close to the floor, he braced himself into a roll to avoid the sting from the drop.
Skating for the last little bit, he tuck in the skateboard in the sack and swung off the stairs. Dropping before colliding at the side of the stairs, then catching the bottom hand rail and repeating.
Just above the last case of stairs Loskai abruptly held fast to the hand rail and smashed into the fence.
The smokers below looked up with a jolt and sweared.
"Ah crazyas motherfucker scared the shit outta me." One of them muttered loudly.
A few coughed the moment they chuckled at the statement and stared at me vacantly.
Loskai took the chance to fall again, catching the bar with full strength on contact and stretched his legs out on this one.
Like a spring, he gave enough resistance on his arms to slow down before doing so when his feet landed.
Greetings the bros out of reguard rather than respect, he left off spring before jumping on to the thrown skateboard. This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it.
"That''s one meanass kid Guz."
"Niggah, I can do that easy."
"Bullshit coming outta of ya again so stick that shit back in your mouth and go ahead and fall off the stairs bitch."
The paths were utterly useless for a straight stroll for the skateboard which explained Loskai sharp turns. But on a slight down hill, it was faster on the wheels than on his feet. Thus preferred it while making us of it as ankle exercise.
On the path, his wheels were loud and there was ragged hobos hunched and skirting along, holding their life collection in one hand or two.
Noone mined each other nor turned to look at the man that was standing infront of an alleyway crossed arms. Shouts, and beats of different tones resounded on a small cry. A shot of blood splattered on the wall besides the standing man.
Woo. Homerun! Loskai gave a small cheer.
Half an hour of traveling through shortcuts through vandilised alleyways and out of the slums, there was railways, wired fences, factories and a long smooth road ahead of him. The terminus between ''normal'' and ''scum'' of society.
He finally entered the college grounds and adjusted the the flow of the mass of students pouring out of the late buses.
With a quick fix up and deodorant, he fitted perfectly with everybody.
After skating most of the way, the pain reached up his calf''s with each step, each muscle stretching and pulling on the bone. But as usual, the zombie lived up his name as being the most laziest person in school.
The bell rang throughout the campus and everyone except the teacher in the homeroom rushed out the door. Loskai looked at the jam not moving, obviously an asshole is blocking the exit but the teacher didn''t care.
"Hey! Get out of the way Ethan!"
"Hurry up!"
"Oil you cunt-"
The teacher''s head moved up slowly in recognition. "Cade, come here!"
"Oh what?! But sir!"
The slim tall teen shifted out of the now moving mass, mocking jest spewed out from some of the girls that didn''t like the playboy.
Seeing the path clear, Loskai tuck in his chair to escape but the teacher''s gaze was already on him.
"You to Loskai, come here."
While waiting for Cade and the teacher finishing arguing. Loskai rubbed his face from his droopy expression.
"You want me to call your mom that you were swearing again huh? You got no more chances now so you better fix your attitude." Cade was kicked out of the class soon after that.
"Where were you last week? I got a truant from the reliever about you."
A blackout and a fist flashed behind his eyes as he recalled the fight that day. Then another when he was at school with the said reliever.
That old bitch kicked me out of class for my ''incorrect'' dressing code and thought I didn''t belong here.
But he couldn''t say that. He was in the same boat as Cade in regards of acceptable attitude, he can''t get expelled yet! His allowance would be cut off the moment he''s not a student.
"Sorry sir. I was sick and injured myself. I''ll get a note tomorrow from one of my caregivers."
As he was about to leave, a hand fell on his shoulder and grip hard enough that was troublesome to take of while still acceptable.
"Everyoned watching you, you know. Especially me Loskai." His tone had a sharp cold end in it.
Opening the door to English class, stares shot at him. Less than half the class was present and they were the ones that wasn''t here from the last few lessons.
Black sports shoes, tank tops under wrinkled uniform and branded socks. A group were stealthy eating shared food and the only girl was playing on here food freely.
A crackle of chips fell from their mouths. While the immigrant teacher told them off, the thick girl giggled at her food.
"What the hell. What about Alisa Miss Cross? Why aren''t you telling her off?!"
"Cause she loves me you faggots" a sly smile appeared on her face.
Sitting in the side of the room, avoiding both the back of the room where the boys are and the lone girl in the front arguing. Loskai rested on his desk.
"Okay you boys shut up and give me your food here or I''ll send you next door!" The teacher yelled.
"Haha, shame." The girl loudly spoke.
Loskai dipped his head in his arms and hands, wondering why girls in this ages are so cruded and shameless.
He didn''t know when he fell asleep but the teacher was shouting out his name.
The video on the whiteboard was paused and everyone was glaring at him.
"Loskai. Can you tell me what happened in the last scene?"
Looking up, he observed the screen and saw the word Vines2013 in the top corner.
The object under his hand was soft and warm. A book that he was reading while the video was on.
"I thought it was free time so I was reading."
"Huh!? It not free time Mr Lossskai~ We''re learning visual observations skills!"
She said so confidently as if Vine videos was a sacred material that he just insulted.
All the students here didn''t voice anything. Enjoying the video, they just waited.
The rest of the day, he was mostly ignored.
The library was noiser than normal. It annoyed Loskai quite a bit while he was thinking of what he should move next.
Across the table was is only friend in the whole wide school! Stellan.
Brushing the strings of hisukulele, a gentle sound strung over the voices. He was too shy playing louder than a mutter and respect the library unlike most students.
The pieces on the chessboard were in clear and spacious positions and yet each side held a firm defence.
Many of Loskai''s special pieces were out and his pawns dominanted the board, his friend''s situation was different. Because he masters defensive strategys, most of his pawns were gone.
The library''s door swung opened and a group of boys strolled in. There were two tall yet humble individuals, one each side of the second shortest boy despite him being surrounded by his groupies.
Two words suddenly slipped out off Loskai''s lips.
"The cunts."
The leader eyes were sharp as they slashed at Loskai''s direction.
"Hm?"
The question of his friend kept Loskai in peace. He didn''t need to be dragged in his feud after all.
Moving his pawn, they continued to play chess.
Chapter 1.1
Chapter 1.1
Night Edge
The end of the day wasn''t as furious as the beginning. All the students wanted to go home to their families or date their college lovers so Loskai was left alone with lax teachers in the school.
This was the only time he would have the whole library floor to himself. The books, the computers and even knowledge kept hidden in the librarian''s desk.
However, he didn''t feel like playing today. Yesterday''s work was tiring and he wanted to take it slow. The bruises were faint and hidden under his long hair and clothes, they still ached.
Thinking about the smug grins looking down at him made Loskai become enraged. Because of them, he had difficulty in working.
Bastards!
Sitting on a chair infront of a computer, he began searching for more material to print out as well as sending an email to his father''s sister.
The email was not much of importance but she was his benfiter, all he needed was to show results.
Till half-past four came, he pasted pages of exercise and technique''s before printing them when a staff came to lock the doors.
Returning back to his apartment, the was a crowd hooligans besides the hotel. Each side was recognised as different fractions by their clothing colours.
Barking and taunts rained down at both ends while the majority gasped their weapons at each other.
"Get out of our turf ya purple shirt."
"Come here and say that to my face bitch!"
A person came approaching him from the other side wearing dull monochrome colours. A cheap grey shirt and black pants proudly showing his alliance to the gang of this area.
"Hey tosser. What are you doing walking away? Get these crackfaces out with us."
Of course, since anyone living here would have to obey the Wyverns, naturally I nodded silently.
Loskai was use to hearing arguments. From between family members when he and his dad lived with his mom, being dragged into one to strangers like so, and even between public officials.
Loskai and Matevz, the one dragging him, pushed aside the grey worms and serpents. The monochrome members were agitated at first but awe and shock spread.
Matevz, one of handfuls of Wyverns was known to take care of juniors of the gang. Mainly to wing good fighters under his own separate group of elites to later train as new Wyverns.
Ramming through the crowd, Loskai spotted fimilar faces and builds, especially the two big bastards earlier in the morning
Finally at the front with Matevz, he pushed Loskai forward with an evil smile painted on his face.
"Make me proud tosser." He spatted casually.
I looked down at the scrawny opponents infront of me. Only very few had real lean muscle but only on the bone.
Straved, abused, desperate and frustrated. The so called royals is like a miniaturemonarchy, one person ruling over their gang as kingpin over ''noble'' scammers, thief''s or anyone valuable. The rest, ''peasents'', is the results infront of me.
I took a step forward while using my own figure to imitate them for my own use. Because I was one of some thicker fellas beside the big bastards, I was a perfect vanguard.
The two newcomers were bought forth behind me as rooks for this archer[1]. A better organized ramble that the leaderless peasants.
Taking a step forward, the peasents infront stumbled backwards and rose their clumsy weapons.
Ignoring broken glass bottles, metal pipes, pocket knifes and all. I immediately dash forward and roundhouse kicked the closest one at the rips when he rose his arm, probably thinking I would go for his face.
The most dangerous one, broken glass bottle wielder, out of the way. I used the twisting momentum to rip off a rod from one of the startled men and began stabbing them.
Not a slash, swing or bash with the rusty beam but stabbing them with the blunt end.If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
With allies rushing behind me as the peasents regained their drugged or dim senses, it was risky to do any large movements.
As I was submerged by the grey crowd, I kept low to hide my blue uniform and dived into the makeshift purple rags and bands.
Bending, even breaking if weak knees in odd directions till I was eventually at the back of the group. The charge was full of hostilities and resistance, but the would main slash at each other in the chaos.
Sweeping around, holding the rod as a bar. I thrown a swing as the confused peasents that his at the back of their own comrades.
The rod tore through skin and bathe itself in blood, leaving peels of rust in their spewing blood in return.
Infiltration, infection, fear and confined. I dashed after anyone who saw my existence, casing the last line to be cut into unconscious, bleeding and sick bodies.
One from the second. Last turned back to run after seeing the front was closing in towards them, only to meet a an elite with bloodied hands staring down at him.
More and more realised the situation of the front and turned around to see the same Gordy scene. It was one Vs many.
Loskai, despite having a good face just as his brother. He was very horrifically bad at smiling teasingly unlike Rayval. This resulted in the darkest, sharpest end nightmare looking at the peasents.
Despite knowing this, even when he, himself hates smiling. Loskai couldn''t help but get excited at the power he felt from their fear.
Quickly taking of his shirt and tying it around his waist, his sack still on his back. He ran down the first to flee.
A heavy tackle to their side, the rod was heaved above his head broken into their skulls.
The others began to run for their life''s as Loskai nicked his kills. But unfortunately for peasents, Loskai was confident in his speed. After all, it was no joke being the second fastest runner in the college.
With new weapons, he was able to jab, sever and disable the slow peasents with ease and leaving them to trip over the others.
Nice looking one. Loskai thought as he inspected the new pocket knife. Must''ve been stolen from the other side.
He held onto it instead of pocketing it with his bloody hands. School was tomorrow and blood is hard to clean off clothes.
Walking back into to celebrating gang, looking over the savaging figures Loskai went up to Matevz and opened up his sack.
"Can you sign this, need note for school." Loskai was hold both prewritten note and pen at the very edge, trying to lessen the blood on the items.
"Thanks."
Combing his long slick hair over his scalp after drying it, Loskai spread the recent printer sheets of information over the bed at the back.
On the papers were diagrams and vivid explanations of martial techniques and exercises related to the martial moves.
At first, it was only a hobby of collecting pieces of data of fantasy monsters and magic spells. But after the years, his carefree life changed and his hobbies were honed for survival.
''The Folder''. He calls it. Its depth had been building up since he started. Currently as he set the pages in order of exercises and techniques corresponding to them, Loskai shifted the pages of the folder to basic fitness.
Rayval is scrawny but his goons aren''t just brains. Their strength as a unit can defeat the whole Royal gang if they have limitless stamina. That''s if the Nobles haven''t hired hitmen.
Loskai was just one man, two eyes and four limbs. There was a limit to what he could do by himself. To defeat those muscle strategist first. Thatis what his motivation is.
After an extremely throughout understanding of the paper, he rolled papers that was most likely to be forgotten and headed out after a decent rest and feed.
Anyone would be tired after that fight, but for Loskai who endured much more than a little skimmish. It wasn''t significant enough for him.
Nothing weighting him down nor having to worry about his clothes, he felt much lighter and free in the warm night of the town''s air.
Jogging around dull and flickering streetlights, on the dumped, putrid paths and pass violated walls of buildings. The low-end part of the town is a excellent place to get yourself raped and mugged.
Dashing away from the active red light services, exposing their powdered, greased and distained bodies as wares. There was only either fight, fuck, dope, or scam available here.
Yet, though he was heading back to the school campus on the other side, there were lone workers hidden in the shadows.
A short sweet voice came out cover in darkness. Nevertheless, she couldn''t hide the sharp tone at the end of her words. Similar to the ones who played with their throats too much.
"Hey. How''s your day?"
Disgusting choked his tongue, not wanting to breathe in the stench. Gentleman he was, he didn''t care.
"Try the other side of town whore. There''s more work." Lazy bitch.
This is a place where all world problems was both at their extremes and or weakest. Poverty was everywhere yet everyone was at home. The rich had the poorest life''s and the poor had the riches life''s, but of course, rich in sickness and death.
Low-end places were havens for the unwelcome or the lonely. For the one wanting to hide or rise in infamousness!
The irony when poetry is reality. The tragedy that grips readers hearts, it breaks away parts of the victims soul. Yet don''t we all love cruelty since we willingly- Or unwillingly do something for control? For the sake of our last goal? Can one say that they never caused another suffering or misfortune in any way?
Either way. It surrounds every living thing in the purpose of life. The tragedy can either kill you or gives one strength.
Loskai grasped his fist tighter, already have experienced such a time in his sort life. It was recent, but more was to come if he wants to rise what he was given by others.
[1] Archers were the pieces now known as bishops on chess before religion became apocalyptic ?? and thanks to that. Hundreds thousands of women died due to church influence of creating a witch-hunt.
Don''t know if that''s good or bad if that didn''t happen and women to men ratio changed. Modern feminist would''ve taken the world now aye?
Chapter 1.2
Chapter 1.2
Mother''s knows well
Meanwhile at home a certain alarm clock was alone, still holding time in its face while armed. Feeling lonely.
His owner only briefly returned home, yet he was already gone without a glance towards its figure.
''Baka master.''
- Tales of a tsundere alarm clock. Ruination.
Many during this time of the night would say it was quite late. Two hours till midnight and Loskai was far from home, entering the campus.
The still chilly air was like a trap for anyone who wanted to move out in the open. Because of the moist atmosphere, the cold felt more apparent.
Slipping through the gates of the litten up school. Loskai felt envious for such a place to use so much electricity when noone was around.
It was clearly evident why he was jealous. His home is only the size of a small class room that has less than one handful of lights.
The lights casted a great feeble shadow behind him. When he strolled closer, his shadow darkened as it shrunk.
Sweat glistened on his dark skin, creeping down from underneath his bangs and shirt. It made him uncomfortable so he threw his shirt off and wrapped around his waist to cool off.
His steps were quiet, but each of his breath sounded like they were heaving loud enough to resound across the campus. What''s more, at some point he could hear footsteps in the distance. The back courts from his accuracy.
At first, he decided to leave until he heard the voices echoing from behind the large buildings.
They were distorted in the echoes, except, if those guys weren''t snouting and squealing while trampling him last week he wouldn''t be able to know.
Loskai kept silent as he approached forward to the source. Giving his ears all his effort to maintain. With the heavy contrast of shadows and lights, illusions were easily to manifest.
Metal squeaked and clasped at each other. The school''s outdoor fitness equipment were in use of two people that stood out painfully from his memories. Cain and some other guy Loskai didn''t know his name.
A short break after reaching the fitness quarters was the plan Loskai had in his routine, to calm the adrenaline that made his blood surge rapidly through his veins. However, the sounds of grunts puffing out of the individuals told him that the other side had the opposite goals.
The very moment his mind coward at the potential danger, he laughed at his own pitful mind. His body wanted revenge but his brain was tourturing itself with memories of agony.
Finally around the building, he was under the led lights that gleamed hearty like a blanket wrapped apon him.
The crunch of his footsteps caught the attention of Rayval''s two accomplices. Their faces were garden at Loskai sudden appearance, except when they saw it was him, they spat at his presence.
As if it was just a minor break, they continued playing their own game of basketball. Yet not entirely ignoring Loskai who''s eyes were obscured by a band of dense darkness.
They weren''t as active as before seeing that they''re walking with effort instead of running across the court. Their movements slightly jagged by slight stiffness, the source of their discomfort was at the bars, training to one day murder them away from sight.
It wasn''t a secret that Loskai has been training, infact, it was thoroughly believed that he is a battle maniac and crazy rumors has lately been circulating in the campus.
"He''s a gang leader of the biggest criminal group in the town that''s connected to the city."A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
"I heard he killed more than twenty people last year. "
"Someone leaked that Loskai has been distributing drugs in the black markets."
Some where random and funny for him while others were plain full of malice to spite him.
Drugs, murder, rape. Someone who hates him to the core is spreading those bullshit. Keeping the school and hypocrites on him.
Loskai pulled himself up calmly while he watch down coldly at the two playing basketball. At the second slam of the ball on the hoop board. Cain twisted at Loskai''s position with a unceasing irritation.
"What the hell are you looking at huh?!" Cain shouted.
Loskai muttered to himself as he slowly done push ups. His grudge isn''t specifically at his brother''s goons, but then again they did do all the dirty work with their own freedom.
My legs are getting more flexible and tougher, thanks to the exercises. He quietly spoke to himself. My arms sucks right now because of everything. And Cain isn''t as smart or skilled as the others.
Dropping from the bars, he only fluttered his eyes at the other one. Slim and only just a little shorter than Loskai himself.
He was the faster one between the two, however, only just Cain and the boy himself. From what Loskai knew, the tiny senior was worser than Rayval physically.
But your the puppeteer aren''t you? Second to the mastermind. A sneer creep on Loskai''s face.
What do you have that I don''t? You standing infront Rayval, as a figurehead, can''t compare to someone who survived against him directly.
"Hey you little black shit. Why are you here?" Cain grinded his teeth together. Anger, frustration, agitated. Loskai could only guess those.
Coming up behind Cain with the basketball was Kurl who was intensely studying Loskai, accurately his arms which should of been plastered in a case from three days ago.
Noone could see the injury during the day because the college uniform has wide sleeves on all shirts, and Loskai was the type to bring any attention to himself, in addition to that it made the rumors all the more believable if he was shady.
But tonight Loskai was half nude, his thick shirt around his waist, the bleeding purple bruises were on full display that even caught Cain''s attention.
It was brutal yet Loskai was utterly unaffected.
Kurl worked up from his glare when Loskai said something that made Cain''s mad.
Cain was about to launch a bold and terrific punch, full of vigour and absolution that anyone would be frightened into a parry stance.
While Kurl expected Loskai would try defend. Unexpectedly, he was out of his sight and something else from below was coming up.
Cain in the other hand didn''t even registered the disappearance, after all, in the same second of the throw of his punch, a heel shocked the bottom of his jaw.
Straigthening his pose after the reverse-spin heel kick, Loskai didn''t give two fucks about honour and trampled over the dazed Cain.
Crushing Cain''s skull apon the asphalt. Shredding his face on the tar and worn edged pebbles.
"What are you gonna do poppet?" Loskai said so darling as a joke. Or at least tried to sound like it with his grit heavy voice.
"Sorry." Not a short hesitation, Kurl ran away!
''Dissk,'' wasting my time.
Due to Loskai momentary pause, Cain''s head was staggering upwards. Loskai only stomped his head in response, definitely cracking it before changing the hare.
Kurl only made it to the edge of the building before being tackled by the of course; second fastest runner in the campus among students. And ironically so called zombie, Lok.
The ball popped out of Kurl''s grasp as he was tackled and face slammed onto the the brick wall infront. He couldn''t move around the building when he was falling.
"Puah?!"
Blood squirtted from his dislocated nose and sprinkled his vision. As much as he wanted to run, the pain was so unbearable that his mind was blank.
Loskai intentionally used his knees and elbows on the moaning Kurl if had his face covered with his own hands, crying for himself and the pain inflicted on him. It really very kinda pissed off Loskai at this self pity.
"Huh? Do you want something to cry about!"
Grabbing a handful of hair. Loskai brought up the tear-streaked and bleeding face of Kurl, frantically begging with his swallow eyes.
Loskai couldn''t help but thing out loud to himself, to the misery of Kurl. The words struck him like a chore.
"Disgusting."
A knee flew toward Kurl face, sending him off for good. Knocked out cold, Loskai scavenged through both Kurl''s and Cain''s pockets to taking anything transferrable for himself.
A sports watch (seems like sports things are the hype now), and a wallet from Kurl which was made of fabric with tic tac button and full of money. Anything with Kurl''s profile was left on the floor, even his bank card.
Da hell you got a wallet with you at this time of the night anyways?
He wasn''t foolish enough to leave fingerprints on the cards. Nothing worse than providing evidence with an already rapped reputation of half truths.
No trace. No DNA. No effort. Don''t mess with the ones people call hooligans nor take seriously those who says they are so proudly.
That was what Loskai learnt. It meant that real gold is hidden in stones, and while shit can be shiny and yellow, it also stink a lot.
In one word. Wannabes.
Kurl''s face haunted his mind as Loskai wasted his hands back at home. His spoils on the kitchen counter while the folder and rolled paper was on the only table. Reality sunk backwards as the hateful times resurfaced.
Can''t live my own fucking life. Can''t have a peaceful family. Dad can''t fucking stay alive.
Loskai''s knuckles popped at his riping fist along with his wrist twisting at the tension of his forearm muscle tighting.
A weak stupid little shit.
That was his mother spat out behind his back loudly as if he was deaf. He did know whether it was at him if father but he wasn''t going to forget it.
Chapter 1.3
Chapter 1.3
Rayval''s Faces
His bones groaned after his awakening. Loskai didn''t expect to fight last night but did make sure they aren''t coming back to school anytime soon. It would be better if he could just leave their bodies in the alleyways of these dark streets. Fortunately for them, they live on the side of town where the police cares to uphold.
But they ain''t got solid evidence of the fight. And no police would willingly venture this deep here. Just goes to show how bad this place really is. Loskai thought to reassure himself.
A sudden small, but brief presence entered his senses like a rat sneaking across the room.
Massstteeer~!
''Hm?'' Loskai looked around yet somehow his focus landed on the little alarm clock besides him. This cause him to rub his temples to release and unconscious stress.
''Pressure points...'' Loskai though hazily. ''Another one above and below there-. What''s the neck one again?''
He pressed and rotated the knuckle of his thumb there anyways. As long as it was in his flavor, Loskai didn''t hesitate to pressure the spot.
Nevertheless. Today he was going to buy lunch during school with his extra money, and that alone brighten his mediocre mood.
As usual, his sack wasn''t suitable to hold food but he didn''t need to get a proper bag. The sack Loskai uses is waterproof and flexible, qualites that are expensive for packs.
The two large blurry men in the corridors weren''t here. Either earnt a room or in the process of one like how all recruited members went through. And lastly, there was those who failed but were allowed indoors.
''Our own society.'' Loskai though to himself.
From the edge of the college where the cafeteria is. Loskai was holding today''s special sandwich roll and a flavoured milk carton.
Seats were everywhere yet all occupied so he was strolling outside, searching for a secluded spot with the sun above and cooling breeze below.
He knew the school well enough that the back of the campus and the front are always bursting with activity, as well as the the other two sides.
''Upstairs in the hallways then.''
And his friend in the library?
His chessmate can find another player or would keep practicing his ukulele. It was only Loskai who thought of him as a distant friend, after all, that diligent weirdo was the only one who was waiting for the world to end as he plays a chore.
Loskai was unwrapping his sandwich as he climbed the stairs to what seemed like an partly empty building, but a classroom door opened from the upper level and several people were coming down.
"So that''s what happened." Was the first word that Loskai heard before he encountered them as they appeared from the corner.
Glaring down at Loskai were his nemesis. Both frozen to the ground as if there was an animal about to charge.
Everyones hearts were beating consciously, the air if affected by it was pushing them side to side as they held balance. Trying not to fall. To leap. To fail and break the silence.
"Yes, that''s whats happened." Loskai said plainly. However, due to the atmosphere it was more like a challenge than anything else.
One descended down the flight of stairs and pushed his body against Loskai, trying to push him down if not making Loskai step back.
He did not budge but even won the aggressor backwards without the assistance of the handrail.
"You need to at least ambush me with all you got, like last time to get me pussys."
Unfortunately for them, they are still in school and there was a mounted camera on the top corner of the ceiling behind Loskai.
Rayval''s group finally brushed past him hard enough to get away without suspension. Muttering a threat in the progress.
"Nice sandwich. You''ll be wasting it after school in Iggulden''s park."Did you know this text is from a different site? Read the official version to support the creator.
A record already made. It was the first time calling him out twice in two weeks in a row. The first time he ignored it was when they decide to fight(ambush) him in their own time.
In short. It was better to answer the summon and fight face to face than living with being stalked.
Proceeding upwards, there were only loners playing on their phones while their heads loomed over it. Keeping to themselves which made Loskai remember about those homeless, yet placed lingers back in the apartments.
''Nevermind. Guess sitting on the stairs will do.''
As Loskai began his quiet meal, he thought of last night. His kick replayed and various scenarios, the experience made him feel like an almost movie director.
Chewing thoroughly, his actions reflecting his mind. If Cain dodged his heel. Caught it or change his target of aggression in that direction. It was: What could he do more efficiently? Used another technique, focus on a fighting style. Keep training?
''If he passed that kick..- Do another spin kick below? Flying knee on the go?'' He questioned himself.
Visualization both named and unnamed moves his shadow fighters were demonstrating, Loskai lost his sight of what was infront of him. His mouth still chewing.
"The hell are you doing Loskai?"
The student was holding his ukulele in one hand and his bag in the other. That chess guy. His question sounded like a rhetorical one with his light tone and cherry expression.
"Nearly class already." Loskai said as a jolt shock him.
"No. The library is even more crowded, something''s happening there."
He too sat down and fidgited with his musical instrument, strumming a few strings and stared at it hesitantly. A true artist.
Comparing Loskai and him. The only thing separating them was sheer luck against sheer talent. Loskai belonging to the former.
It was luck he was able to stay alive this long. From old comrades of his father taken pity to having grown his size to belittle those in the streets.
He knew it well fully. His maturity came earlier than most and at times, sometimes his conscious would do a burst of acceleration into the past, replaying the chapter after the days of scandal. It bit him like an cold iron chisel, forcing him to never forget, and never forgive.
The young man circumstances is a 180¡ã to Loskai. Rather than belittling others, he was the one most ignored.
A miserable chuckle spilled from Loskai lips. Fitting for a miserable par.
"What are you laughing at? You got that creepyas smile on your face."
Loskai shook his head. Only giving one sentence.
"Cruel irony of us, huh?"
"You''re seriously weird." He said loudly, yet it wasn''t at him directly.
Everyday is always different. Always something coming up or going down. There is no exceptions in life. That word itself only had meaning in a world full of chains.
Exceptions.
The two bruised and plastered sitting under the shade of the tree behind Rayval and his group were watching eagerly, yet unsure whether this was okay.
"You don''t need them right? Rayval... We just need to beat him up." One of his friend consoled.
Rayval arm swung at large young man.- The difference between their heights was more than his own armspan. However, holding a sheathed sword surpassed Rayval''s limit.- He was able to crack his ''friend''s'' nose.
Blood sprayed away and across the grass. The sword was still unarmed. Expected from the first son under the wing of mother, he was able to not make the sheath slip off.
Those minor details were ignored by the others and instead rushed to help the big fella. Striking him was just to show his dominance. But to Loskai?
Rayval still considers Loskai as a threat, a nemesis that will forever stain him and his house. But despite knowing this, Loskai couldn''t find any other reasons.
The park was secluded of all kindness and generosity. Neglected of care like most people who lingers around on the wooden post or hanging on the branches of the tress.
Moving over to Loskai, Rayval lifted the sword and shoved the metal-capped sheath at Loskai chest. Their stares matched each other, mutual intensity.
''Touch it bitch.'' Rayval''s eyes said.
When the moment passed unmovingly. Rayval spoken his intentions.
"Lately you''ve been getting cocky, Loskai." The sword was pressed harder at him, now being able to feel the chape edge apon his ribs.
The sword was long, dangerously long for both himself and Rayval. Both the scabbard and handguard was wonderfully embedded with decorative features made of gold. He could only assume the handle and blade were of the same quality.
It made him wonder how he was able to own such an expensive heirloom of mother''s family.
''It seems unused. Is it new?''
Beside the sword. Loskai only knows of mother''s gold and silver dragon hairpin, phoenix fan and father''s obsidian edge axe.
"Are you going to use it on me?"
"I don''t know. I got nothing to do."
''So he''s doing this because he''s bored?''
Thinking about father''s axe, he couldn''t help but ask about it. It was then Rayval though briefly before a mocking full lip smile grew on his face.
"-? Ah. Mother threw it away."
"... Where?"
"Huuuh?! Why should I tell you?"
The sword punched Loskai indifferently at Rayval''s lousy response. This action seemed to irritate Rayval himself rather than Loskai. Because of Loskai''s unresponsive nature, their interactions came to a choke.
There was an unease behind Rayval. The victims wanted revenge by trying to record Loskai carnage by provoking him. But things went amiss when Rayval went his own way.
Loskai saw the phone they were holding. Waiting for the moment to begin.
''This isn''t like him.'' Of all times Rayval wanted to assault him. Rayval would only go so far as spectating his schemes in person, but this itself was so odd that his goons were at lost.
"What happened back at the House?"
"Why do you want to know?! Your grades are shit! Your a disgrace. I''m glad mother kicked you out!"
Rayval''s hand twitched, wanting to swing and strike at Loskai but the pressure unknowingly held him still.
It was unsettling to Loskai that Rayval started to aim at him for whatever happened back at the house. It was likely that it was going to get worser if Loskai did nothing.
Loskai folded his glasses and putted it in his pocket. Those large frame glasses which made him look like an easy target of abuse now were off, revealing a face similar to father''s one. And by no means it was a kind and soft face like Rayval.
If mother was the deceiver, underhand poisoner. Rayval was the pitful spoilt dragonling. And for father who was the once great Basilisk, his petrifying eyes and bold face and build has passed on to Loskai.
Rayval was always mistaken as the younger brother of the two, and perhaps it was because of other people''s judgment that cause Rayval''s undimmed rivalry.
A fast vice-like grip grabbed the scabbard of Rayval''s miaodao.
"You would be worser off than me if you start it. But then again. You always chose benefit over blood."
Minutes counted down. Rayval clearly wasn''t happy with Loskai holding the sheath nor how wiser he sounded in the situation.
"Why do you want dad''s axe for?" Rayval finally said.
"... To honour him."
Chapter 1.4
Chapter 1.4
Cheap Life
Few was surprised when Rayval had Loskai following behind him. Only when the new members ask what the hype was about, the bullshit spilling out in froth didn''t stop.
"That''s the younger brother all the older guys talking about?!"
"Sure it isn''t other way round?"
Rayval seemed calm but Loskai knee well enough that he wanted to slash his sword out.
There was lots of rugged men laying about that were displeasing to look at. Many of them were under the shelter of plastics and fabric roofs covering alleyways during the time Loskai and Rayval''s father reign.
From one look Loskai immediately realise this area no longer is under the rule of the house. Stragglers hogging shelter and deals made behind backs was all there was in the cramp district.
Noone wanted to come out otherwise their spot would be taken, it was the same for those outside. No one wanted to enter such a disgusting place that those hermits saw as a haven.
Dusk was hidden and only the warmless daunting shadow of worn buildings of lime, bricks and mortar and other older, cheaper materials. The environment itself defined the state of scrubs here. Exhausted, neglected and the same old abuse.
Loskai didn''t need any explainion for the state of the area. Given the knowledge he has of mother''s nature, she must''ve spoiled herself with everything she could take. She''s a very apathetic person.
"How come mother buy you a sword though?" That was something Loskai didn''t understand. Giving an advantageously dangerous gift wouldn''t be in her nature.
Rayval leading the way, he had his long Nike gym bag at the side of him with the strap on his shoulder. Inside was a weapon all scrubs and police alike would fear in a meele confrontation.
"I bought it with my own money."
...
''From where?
Some short of guilt, or fear emerged. Could Loskai degraded Rayval too much? He hasn''t changed that much except for his looks.
From what was all Loskai could assume from studying Rayval''s small, frail and thin size from behind. Those martial arts classes haven''t done much for his built so imitation was very restricted on people for him.
''Mummys boy. Mummys talent.''
That wasn''t an insult if your mother was a apathetic leader of a ruthless gang. The very same person who usurped one of the most wealthiest underground groups in the town.
Thinking back on the novels Loskai read, he felt like a minor character with his lack of personality. Just a satellite character. Neither a good or bad guy, closer to a one scene bypasser but has a potential of being a filler.
''If- if you plan to usurp mother. Where would I be in the scheme of redemption?''
There it goes again, his own mind daydreaming again. False hope; A flaw on its own, and appearantly Loskai was good at that.
Perhaps it was because his glasses were off and his blurry vision that his mind focus elsewhere. Reasoning made him put his glasses back on, but the thought that on lookers now know of his sort vision made him want to take it off again.
He shutted his teeth down harder. Loskai hated his weakness, much like how his brother despises his short stature and weaker body.
As they kept travelling through, there were those who had their eyes stalking them which pierced the conscious of the two.
Two college boys seemingly harmless. One at the front whose hair was long and slick, small and thin which made him look nearly like a girl. The one was the opposite of the first. Like a guardian for the little one. Unknown to them that the most weakness one was the most dangerous one.
A gang of topless people, stitched with tattoos from all over their torso to face, stuck their sights at the two brothers after one of them began to report as he pointed towards their direction.
Then their provocation began. Just shouting insults and racist swears in their very spot. However, their efforts were in vain as the brothers passed them.
Ignored, they didn''t feel humiliated by such weaklings. They look like pushovers with easy change getting away.
Two of the nine followed after the brothers, their movements done with obvious intentions that they didn''t need to tell at them to stop.
"Hey! You two black shits! Stop or else I''ll fucking kill ya."
Loskai fluttered his eyes down at the zipped bag. Rayval showed no hints of reaction as if he was deaf to anything that related him.Stolen story; please report.
Rayval wasn''t going to do anything. Infact, the possibility of him keeping his word of leading Loskai to the location of the ax was already being reconsidered.
Besides his short sightness. The thing Loskai hated most was being deceived no matter the form, that also includes Rayval cowardly nature.
''Of course this would happen you fucking idiot! Why do I always thought that he was better than before?! Stupid!Stupid! Stupid!'' A spike shot Loskai inner spine and into the bottom of his mush brain. His tighten jaw suddenly gritted against each other so painly that it was like he chipped the tips of his teeth.
It wasn''t going to matter what Loskai did now. If he retaliated against the upcoming murders, Rayval would leave him behind, trying to escape anything bothersome and blame him. If he did do anything, the chances of a hit and run was more than just ''likely''. It is always a certainly.
"Are you going to kill them." Loskai muttered, almost spitting his anger.
"No."
"Can I use your sword then." He asked to confirm his assumption.
Rayval denied his request.
It was always like this, even when both of them lived together. Rayval is a pretty apathetic person himself as well. He would only plead when his own life was a second from death, never forgive anyone, nor was paid back. He''s a perfect survivor in the dirt. That''s why if Rayval decided to usurp mother, Loskai doubt he''d fail.
''But he''s a the most shittist brother one to exist, partner, comrade, and anything that involves him being vulnerable.''
Loskai stopped as Rayval finalized his decision and slightly changed his direction to the house. Not looking back or hesitating.
Loskai went in different directions, wanting to sweep away as many mold as he can before heading back home.
The two of them felt like a cheap pair of gangsters. One a head sorter and the other only was taller by eye level of Loskai. They were laughing amongst each other by a joke that the taller, rounder one was taking up on.
"Hey, hey Mahammet. Watch this." The short one held a wide revealing grin as he pulled something out of his pocket.
In a surprise, the midget dashed at Loskai, a knife flashed in th air above his head. The knife slipped into Loskai right chest with ease, but the cold sharp edge impaled into him was a different story.
"GrrrAah!?" Loskai gasped out.
His exhaustion nonexistent in the instant. The slow moving blood flowing exploded in a burst which shocked his entire body, the momentary paralysis twisted his mind backwards with agonising pain and froze his body.
"AHHHRFG!"
''Appearantly those fucking actors who gets stab by a knife are fucking terrible at their role!''
It was a weird thing to complain but despite his thoughts rampaged, his body knew exactly what to do.
''OOHHH!" Mahammet shouted in startled awe. His fist poorly hidding his laughter.
While the midget was smiling at his feat like a champion, Loskai stared down at the oblivious midget. Even when he knew this could happen, he didn''t expect his life to be so... -
-...Cheap.
It was like his life was no more than a scrub. But it was wasn''t it? How can one life be more worth than another...?
Another scream unexpectedly shrieked infront of Loskai and his thumb was hot in liquid and soft stuff.
The tugging grip left the blade inside Loskai''s breast which greatly relieved the paralysis. The midget was screaming horrifically with his hands over the flood of blood pouring down the side of his face.
A tear rolled down the cheek of Loskai burning skin. The revelation was so imediate that Loskai just watched the midget in suffering. He felt no remorse for the little cunt who stabbed him, nothing.
-No. Not nothing. There was something surging within him that felt so pleasant to have, more comfortable than his father''s presence, greater than his false hope to see Rayval change.
Loskai wanted to pull out the cold blade but he''d bleed out before he''d be able to be hospitalised.
Digging in his pockets, he realised he still had the knife he recently added to his collection. The high brand flip knife he forgot to take out.
Mahammet frantically trying to aid the midget. Loskai easily jabbed down the little weapon in the back of his neck and run it nearly around his throat.
Mahammet jumped back off his friend, curled backwards as he strangled his neck while the blood gushed wildly. The rich crimson blood spewed as he coughed up into the direction of the sky. His eyeballs were so close to gouging out but he fell before it happened.
Out of all his kills, this one anonymously tasted different. Was it because there was no self-justification in this kill? Was it because this time he didn''t beat him to the ground and left for the dead?
The suffocating, drowning boy who was near his second decade didn''t need to be killed from an outside perspective.
Loskai hands tingled and buzzed, tickled in the blood of another. It''s not like this one is his first, nor would it be his last. So why did he feel this way?
The death of Mahammet cheered Loskai''s spirit up that he''d probably forgive him for stabbing him. But he wasn''t the one that stabbed him, and it was only a chance.
The midget screams brought the rest in a rush. He was on the ground selfishly ignoring the whole world to soften the pain. To Loskai, it was... Boring. But he himself was being pitful so he didn''t wait any longer to pierce he midget''s skull.
Silence heavily weighted on the area that Loskai stood. The group were hesitant when they were upon the scene. It was freighting yet it goaded them to charge at the killer of their friend and member.
The names of the dead stumbled out of the more strong willed fellows. Hassling should only be a one way confrontation, but the idiot was eager and lazy to do it properly.
Mahammet on the other hand. He was a kid man haunted by misfortune and mistakes. He never partake in anything directly, but his homely charisma liven their deadbeat lifes. That chubby boy didn''t deserve to die.
The older man with a sunken face glared at Loskai with unrivalled vengeance.
"You. YOU! You''re going to regret coming out of your mother''s cunt!"
The rage that boiled in him made him leap hasty, however the members behind him grasped the older man as they predicted that he''ll just wildly thrash around, only to be gutted by the creepy floundering kid who had a bloody smile ripped in his downcast face, his eyes hidden in pitch black pits.
Loskai, finally confident that his wound wasn''t as serious as he thought grabbed the handle of th knife in his breast and slowly pulled it out.
Most of the knife was exposed outside in the dull dark, poorly glimmering the outside lights. However the knife was clearly stuck in him, he had to tweak it out to take it.
He felt a lost of short leaking of blood distinctively running out on his skin. The large stain of blood in his uniform showed no change as if to show the injury did nothing to him.
"Come..- Come..- Come. Heheeehehee."
The horror shock them back to their senses, especially this older one who went slack as his lips deformed into disgust.
Left alone. All the witnesses freighten to the bone. Loskai had his shirt tied over his wound.
"I- I''m starting to understand Rayval.. I see why everything is bothersome.."
He staggered in an alley where no light from th street nor night sky could reach. He was blind and dizzy, exhausted to the point that his legs didn''t feel like his own and insanely numb that he tends to forget what pain he had.
''Its not worth fighting for such a world like this..''
..
..
''Shit.''
Chapter 1.5
Chapter 1.5
Life''s Worth
''Loskai tested very high on the Lucid Ability: Non- Verbal Reasoning 87th percentile, standard score 117, age equivalent 18y 3m (Age at testing 15y 7m). Verbal Reasoning 75th percentile, standard score 110, age equivalent 17y 2m. General Conceptual Ability 81st percentile, standard score 81, age-equivalent 17y 7m.''
The silhouette of the person Rayval stalked hid himself in a passageway between two buildings before collapsing, it was difficult to assess the situation from afar but he didn''t want to be seen. But after five long minutes Rayval approached the body of Loskai.
Finally besides his brother, he was able to realize that there was a glimmering puddle with a slight metalic smell.
Rayval stared at him for awhile before failing to kick Loskai over on his back. When he achieved his goal, Rayval now knew what the liquid was as it streaming down like veins under Loskai''s clothing.
If it wasn''t for Loskai''s shallow breathing, Rayval would''ve left the dead alone. After all, he really doesn''t like wasting his time with pointless matters.
He took out his phone.
"Hello, what is the emergency?"
"Ahm, there''s someone bleeding a lot in Sikkim street... Yea, yea.."
Turning off his phone, ignoring the instructions given to him, Rayval left to actually go home this time.
He didn''t really care about the lost of territory, but what Loskai did was the same as cleaning litter in someone else''s street.
''He let them get away though.''
Only getting the ambulance, Rayval believe that''s all what Loskai deserve. It''s his own fault if he dies, he''s always annoying everyone.
Dead cold air had already settled in Loskai''s lungs before he woken up in the hygienic white room. Lying on a cheap bed; leather mattress with a thin sheet layer, sturdy pillow and equally small blanket, Loskai though he was so cold that all he saw was the colour of the chill.
His limbs were stiff and refusing to shift away from the long-earnt warmth, everything else was numbingly cool.
For the whole while in the closet-like room, Loskai remained still as he recovered his thoughts and energy.
Most of what went behind his eyes came from emotions from his childhood, just his black and bleak pain. It hurted more whenever he forced a dreamy one.
Motionless to expressionless, the weight of reality and young old friend depression pierced his heart. It made him ache. The hunger faintly subsided. His theoat was starting to boil.
The blade shooting infront of a blurry midget, like an unrecognisable imp with a spear dashing at his chest. The recent pass gave him nothing to feel but the old ages made him anxious.
''Pathetic.''
Loskai knew himself well enough to know his own symptoms. He''d been through it more than a dozen times. The times when he always questioned himself why he''s still alive when there''s nothing for him. Why he pretends he has at least has one friend. Why does he tries to work so hard at fitting in school.
The questions are usually ones that makes him doubt the world, himself, life and death.
But in the end of every suicidal failure caused by his own hypocrity and cowardness.
''Why do Ihaveto fucking die?!''
It was his first time experiencing someone attempting to murder him without provocation coming from him. He had always thought humans are a race of rationality and reason.
First he''d been called out by his brother not for Loskai beating up two of his goons but because he was bored. Now he''s here after a confronting two other people.
''Pitful''
He was starting to become pitful again. Pitying himself, blaming everyone for his own choices and consequense.
"Fuck."
Loskai''s fist clench up the blanket from underneath. Heat surging back in his hand, percisely his fingers.
''Work for yourself.''
"Fuck!"
''Live for yourself.''
"Ft-fuck!"
''Die for yourself.''
"FUCK!"
The slam of his fist rattled the bed and stung back at his red burning hands.
Ever since Loskai left the house, he swore these three things to livegreaterthan them. So why did he disregard them?! He questioned himself repeatedly constantly.
Self-pycological repetition continued till the door clicked open and a woman appeared from behind it. Her face wasn''t welcoming nor made him feel safe. It wasn''t an expression of a social worker or nurse. If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Revelation then struck him. An authorised person.
There was a younger, middle-age woman wearing white following her, surprised as she saw Loskai.
"Oh. He''s awake. I''ll the doctors."
As the appealing one left, Loskai and the old woman stared down at each other. From the moment her eyes saw him, the old woman has been glaring hard into Loskai''s eyes.
"What''s your name." She said as if it wasn''t a question but a command.
In the space of time of Loskai answering her questions with at the minimum, he knew she was like everyone else who was gauging him.
Assumptions were being formed in her head. Scenarios. Behaviour and Loskai''s culture just by the way he answered.
She left once her interview was over, leaving Loskai alone again.
The day felt frozen in the motionless blue room. No water, snacks or person came. The sensation imbuing in his spine was light, negatively light. Light yet weighted his spirit down.
...
Horrific thoughts occupied his mind. He never liked to talk about himself but Loskai could never stop thinking about death.
Still going. Suicide means her win.
A young childish cry echoed distantly within his ears. The crowd moved constantly, footsteps deafen him like a hailstorm.
....
.
Arriving back at the college campus, the vice principal was sitting down as she gave a bundle of notes to the man on the other side of the desk.
"There''s also foreign blood on his clothes. No doubt that his recent fight must''ve been much more violent than the one with Cain and Alps the boys reported."
The man reading through Loskai''s mental evaluation provided through the school network, was comparing it with his assistant interview gathered orally.
It was awkward say that least. Loskai''s IQ was in the 18% above average, yet despite that his profile says he''s a good candidate for special assessment conditions. Meaning he needed extra help with school assessment.
"He''s about seventeen years now right. Legal age to be kicked out of education now.... My school doesn''t need him."
Neither Loskai''s caregivers contacts were working and details were a bare minimum, only covering preferred names and Loskai''s own address which he is not a contracted to.
His assistant reading the papers beforehand knew why he was perplexed.
"The school could not find the guardian he was with when he was enrolled. Police has already been called to investigate yesterday earlier but found nothing."
That didn''t matter now anyways, the boy wasn''t going to stay for this year. The man welcomed the relief of the near future where he didn''t hear the boy''s name every now and then.
And the staff team workload should be more barerable with the trouble-child gone.
With all things considerated. Loskai was deemed harmful to society as his case of violence committed reportedly not only to other students, but to local as well.
"Well, he''s been talked to many times. With so many warnings he has no excuse for his actions. Loskai will get an expulsion."
The words flowed out so surprisingly fluid that it seems that he too was very much appreciating this.
No pesty parents complaining since Loskai''s caregivers has to be found first. Though he''s old enough to live alone, the police would only be on this case for a week.
The principal felt that the day is quite fine for some catch up with his own family.
A week after loskai was nowhere to be seen, the news of the expulsion spread gracefully from a information leak.
While Loskai''s homeroom teacher didn''t care, he predicted this would happen. A isolated pair of boys cheered and celebrated with each other and the others who left Rayval.
Loskai aunt vanished from sponsorship. His groundman boss waited for him, eventually giving up when last Sunday passed.
He was given the expulsion letter which he dismissed the day after his stay. And since then Loskai stayed on the other side of the train rails for that week.
The sick empty sense of blood loss was gone but a he still felt empty.
Deprivedfrom energy and hunger, the suffocating air he breathed in was the only thing that kept him between the boarder of lucidity and loss.
Loskai''s eyes drifted to the edge, glaring at the side wall and the state of his mind. The voice from the alarm clock never spoke to him again when he came back.
He opened his drawer for the first time in awhile. It was full of knifes he collected and scavenged from the years in the street.
From pocket-utility knives to tatical knives. Rarely Karambits. Commonly switch knives before fixed blades. Not all were quality but this collection is the only thing Loskai is proud of.
Unnaturally, the complex have been increasingly quiet since yesterday.
And silence.
And the grey senseless air.
A hollow wooden panel creaked echoed from the front of Loskai''s apartment. Then something snapped.
His eyes finally awake, the dreaded danger jolted his hand into his knife drawer and clutched a handful of them. The sharp edge slid down his fingers, tickling his nerves with beating impulses.
The door cracked as it splittered into divisions, catching the axe head as it wedged into the wood.
The axe was ripped out by a black hand covered in black flaming wraps. Another strike and the dark mummified creature bursted through the door.
Loskai held a Karambit in his left hand and a long tactical knife in the other. The knived felt surreal in his grasp, this is the first time he ever held these knives with such intention.
The creature''s head twisted as it sense the movement of Loskai. As if what occurred behind the door wasn''t suppose to happen.
Screaming groans yawned from its patched vocals. Misty eye sockets licked after it as loomed at the next room. The darkness spewing from underneath its feet crawled under the door, blackening the floor.
Loskai''s bed was creaked whenever he was upon it and decided to remain stationary on ground. But just when the cloud smothered his toes, hundreds of thousands of bites tore through his flesh while soaking itself in the tainted blood.
Angst shook his entire spine, causing an insane moment ofneurosis to disrupt his state of mine.
However. What was there to ruin inside a week braindead kid like Loskai? He did not had a proper thought throughout those days and seldomly spoke to himself.
The neurosis was brief, almost as if it was just an hallucination.
Loskai stepped out the cloud quickly and used his bed to launch out through the door, determined to not get gassed in.
Each other oblivious of ones intentions. But Loskai knew there was an intruder behind the door, someone who can infiltrate the apartment with ease. And the creature was here for his own reason.
Moral be damed. Loskai''s one had always been flexible but recently he could not get it over his head about the revelation last week.
The lock of the door dragged a section of wood with it as well as the hinges. Walls old and neglected, part of the frame crumbled too.
But what Loskai did not expect was the nightmarish wail screeching the drum of his ears coming below him.
It''s arms flailed in the air before Loskai''s caught it when the axe was about to strike him.
Of course the sight stunned Loskai who only crushed bone under flesh. But he ripped the arm out of the joint in his perturbed state.
Black dust bursted from the injury, threatening to swallow Loskai as it rose.
In a fury. Loskai used the axe, assuming that knives wouldn''t do anything and swung the axe across the floor and under the broken door.
A crack gave another inhuman scream. Another crushed open its skull but it kept crying till Loskai could completely obliterate its skull.
Loskai''s shrinken heart beated vigorously, having more difficulty than before his active days.
The blood from his legs down were belittling by the second. Feeling stinging, piercing cold behind his muscles. Choked acid around his bones aching him. And the mist his blood absorb toxicated him.
No words appeared in his head nor did a sound came from his slacking jaw.
Instinct wanted him to search for help. Sense opposed this but it was dying inside him. Suddenly he found himself staggering down the corridor. Grey and still, noone was to be seen.
Blackouts started to occur whenever he slowly blinked. He must''ve missed moments of his life because he found a pitch black pool of ink on the floor.
Is this the Death''s Tunnel?
The world tilted downwards towards the pool. Agonisingly slow he felt, like an eternity in the air. Niether was this right or a mistake.
There was no light he could see in there.

Second Regard Realm
The edge began to crumble at his intentional pressuring step, the tip of the man''s foot was angled at the horizon of thesubstrate fortification.
SinceXsythanus had gone the power of the earth had been reduced slowly back to its original state of dirt. And the rolling hills is close to reunioning at the other side once again.
Despite how powerful the work of the Creator and the Apostle is, the age of time have always outlived everything known and unseen existence.
Dycion could see the alloy structure of the buried frame of the wall from the worn edged. He didn''t want to fiddle with the decaying wall but at least he could cover up the exposed metal.
Observing the land beyond the wall again, he leaped off to the lower ground and sweep up a patch of dirt and flew back up.
"Thou has ever been restless."
The person crouching besides him on the ledge mentioned blankly.
Flourishing from the ancient war-field were the rare larva of Tibia worms that would burrow into the very thing of its name. Even if the flood of blood had dried up several seasons ago, few still inhabitant the plains before the dry-lands.
They don''t wiggle on the surface of the ground but it seems they''re now. It was a strange sight.
Travelling back to his village, the winged person followed with a stern look fixated on his face. Even though his eyes were dead, he gave a chilling vibe that made the expression of his eyes blazed.
Dycion saw this and couldn''t help but sight behind his knuckles. The man''s face was a rare sight of reality, an expression rarer.
"What do ya on a''bout S''coden?"
Secoden shook his head to rid off his prophetic vision. Staring deeply into Dycion''s retina''s, his sharp-edge grin vanished as quickly as it opened. This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it.
"Travelling Eldrs tunnelcontacted the slumbered ."
Secoden vanished under the moment of a blink.
Decending. Ascending. Frozen or ever drifting in the blind. Young man, old child. Forsaken loved Loskai. Will you die for me?
Can you hear the silence? Can you see the darkness in this void? Can you feel how close of distances you are? How accomplish you are as dirt, to be trot on again and again. For the living beings from plant to animal.
When..... When are you so desperate despite eager to please yourself for others.
Why do you go on?
The whispers whispered to the Whisperer so he could hear. Loskai drifted forevermore in the frictionless space.
Nothing stopped him yet all the lost spirits tired to hold him back to no avail. Darkness continued.
Behind Loskai, waves of flaked peeled off his skin, the furthest completely disintergrated thinner out of reality.
The void kept eroding the surface of his body silently, painlessly. Not a drop of blood spilt when layers and layers fell away.
Loskai''s conscious was dimmering as he stayed unmoving. He could barely feel anything from his neck down, the posion had yet to immerse his brain.
From his sight he could see nothing, not because his eyes were closed but rather he had none to keep his eyes protected. Blur and molecules drizzled in his view, white particles of his eyes disappearing.
...
..
.
??-?????!!
??''???? ???? ??????!
Out from the oblivion emerged a skeletal hand that reached towards Loskai''s life vessel.
Wavering at him restlessly, following him in the enternal drift it could not get any further than a foot under him.
A petrifing shierk of wilder, unclear intention came from behind the bone arm.
C-CRACK
Amidst the space stood Secoden, a tall grey man. The blood curdling scream shrink off back into the deep dark as it''s broken arm sunk.
Secoden unrestrained bleak hair spread outwards without the gravity of the physical world, nor did his wings existed. However, Secoden moved freely unlike the lifeless motion he was glaring at.
Scanning Loskai, he closed his eyes and waited patiently till something crept out from his skin. Sections of his body began the darken and change ruggedly. From a part of his neck and torso. Around the left side of his head. And his hands were evolving. Then his right eye peeked.
Bursting a blinding beam of light across the whole void was a baby blue nova sun dancing with two tiny stars.
The light''s trajectory lasered through Loskai''s skull. Particals blazed through the beam and highlighted his injuries like wet sand, ever so slightly regenerating the damage from the void.
