    Chapter 1 - The Beginning


    It was a bright morning and the sun seemed to shine into the room through the thin curtains of a certain youth who appeared to be fast asleep in an almost inanimate state. Inside this room there were multiple objects located in each part of the room.


    There was a seemingly expensive computer on a desk in the corner of the room which seemed to be next to a TV which seemed to host a gaming device which was on the floor with the games scattered in an unorganized pile.


    There were several pairs of clothing which seemed to be in a muddled pile and were across the floor, the clothes seemed to range from black jeans and hoodies to a school uniform which displayed the words ¡°Lakeside High School¡± on top of the badge which displayed a lake as its emblem.


    *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*


    The youth in the room seemed to deep asleep despite the echoing sound of an alarm which was vibrating throughout the room, as well as across the house.


    *THUMP* *THUMP* *THUMP* *BANG* *THUMP* *THUMP*


    Suddenly a youth burst through the door with a seemingly annoyed expression across their face. The young girl with medium-sized blonde hair which was tied up in a neat ponytail was staring towards the sleeping youth while increasing her speed to where the youth was currently resting.


    ¡°Kazuki, your lazy idiot, how many times do I have to come and get you due to your laziness, I have to wake you up every day due to you manging to sleep deeper than the dead, despite you being my older brother it seems like I am more like the older sibling having to constantly wake you up¡± (Mia)


    This blonde haired bishoujo was precisely the sleeping youth¡¯s younger sister, Mia Trask who was 15 years old and a 1<sup>st</sup> year at Lakeside High School. Mia was known throughout their neighbourhood as well as school as a beautiful, smart and diligent youth who had a kind but domineering personality which was frequently shown towards her brother.


    ¡°Yeah, yeah can you calm down and be a bit quieter please if you keep on acting like a middle-aged wife attempting to wake up her feeble husband you are going start looking like one you know¡± (Kazuki)


    The youth seemed to have been awoken by the complaints of his sister and started to slowly get out of his bed. The youth seemed to have a lazy and carefree attitude which was shown on his face, however his deep emerald eyes seemed to have a sharp glint inside of them. His messy white hair which seemed rugged due to sleeping went down to his shoulders and just above his forehead.


    ¡°W-who the heck do you think you¡¯re calling a m-middle aged wife you idiot!¡± (Mia)


    The blonde youth turned away from the carefree youth with a ¡°humph¡± and snorted towards the remark made, however a tinge of red could be seen on her cheeks as well.


    ¡°Well it seems to be 8:10am now so I¡¯ll have to hurry so that we aren¡¯t late to school again, even though last time I was only late by 45 minutes Kirima-sensei will probably go berserk and attempt to beat the crap out of me again, Mia continue your tsundere act later and let me get changed so we aren¡¯t late¡± (Kazuki)


    ¡°Shut up you idiot it¡¯s your fault if your late I¡¯m going as Luna and Daichi are waiting so I¡¯ll go ahead or do you want us out of the kindness of our hearts to wait for you?¡± (Mia)


    ¡°No, you go ahead with them I don¡¯t really mind being late I won¡¯t be late by much so sensei will hopefully be in a good mood and forgive me if not I¡¯ll just skip for the day¡± (Kazuki)


    In school Kazuki had a pretty bad attendance due to frequently being late and sometimes disappearing during the day as well as calling up sick if he had woken up late, this habit annoyed both Mia and their parents a lot who threatened to ground him if he continued being lazy, however being grounded didn¡¯t affect the youth much as he enjoyed being at home quite a lot.Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.


    ¡°Despite them being your friends, you always treat them coldly and ignore them and don¡¯t dare to skip class or I will pay a visit to Kirima-sensei and inform him of your previous statement just now¡± (Mia)


    The blonde-haired youth replied with an angered face towards her brother¡¯s remark however she was worried at the same time due to her brothers carefree and unaffected attitude.


    ¡°They are your friends not mine and I don¡¯t treat them coldly I just prefer to be alone which they seem to constantly ignore and you don¡¯t have to worry I¡¯ll try my best to get to school on time if I don¡¯t it will seem luck isn¡¯t on my side¡± (Kazuki)


    The older youth replied in a monotone voice which had no sort of feeling in it at all, the blonde-haired youth stared at her brother with a saddened expression before turning away and replied.


    ¡°Ok, sorry for prying into your business but do try to attend on time and try to treat them a bit kinder rather than ignoring them because both Luna and Daichi are just worried about you and aren¡¯t trying to annoy you. They have known since elementary school and seem to be worried about their childhood friend¡± (Mia)


    The people mentioned above as Kazuki¡¯s childhood friends were Luna Ayako and Daichi Junichiro, they were in class 2-C which was the same as Kazuki and they had been together since the beginning of elementary school. Luna Ayako had been close to both the siblings due to their parents running large conglomerates and being good friends, which resulted in Kazuki, Mia and Luna being together quite often.


    On the other hand, Kazuki had met Daichi after getting into a fight during the early days of elementary school, Kazuki was teased by a kid who had started annoying him due to his white hair, due to this Kazuki snapped and repeatedly hit the kid which resulted in him scaring his other classmates who were too afraid to approach however Daichi decided to approach Kazuki as the child who teased Kazuki also teased Daichi which made him respect and want to befriend Kazuki even though his actions may have been overkill.


    The 3 had been together since elementary school and despite Kazuki always trying to ignore them it wouldn¡¯t work due to their persistence which resulted in them being together quite often in school such as sitting together, eating lunch and walking home together.


    There were more people who had joined their ¡°group¡± overtime however the two people Kazuki had been with the longest had been Luna and Daichi.


    ¡°Who knows I¡¯ll keep your words in mind, you should get going or you will end up being late if I see you I will catch up if not see ya later¡± (Kazuki)


    The carefree youth responded with a slight smile towards his sister and encouraged her to get a move on as it was currently 8:15am and school started at 8:45am. It usually takes around 15-20 minutes of walking from the Trask residence to Lakeside High school which would mean if Mia stayed any longer she would end up being late.


    ¡°Ok, but make sure to hurry up okay, I have left you something to take for your lunch downstairs or take the money mom and dad left you and get something at school¡± (Mia)


    The azure eyed bishoujo replied with a loud but condescending tone, she almost sounded like their mother did when she used to have to wake him up in the past, recalling this memory Kazuki raised a slight smile onto his face and responded to the youth.


    ¡°Yeah thanks for the reminder and you are starting to sound a lot like mom with the way you speak, anyways see you later then¡± (Kazuki)


    The youth raised his arm and made a slight wave towards his sister which in turn made her respond by doing the same and replying


    ¡°Don¡¯t call me mom I¡¯m still 15 and in the prime of my youth, anyways see you later¡± (Mia)


    The blonde youth raised a huge smile which could bewitch anyone who saw it and replied to the youth in a dismissive but sweet tone, and then finally left the youth on his own.


    ¡°She¡¯s left now huh, at least I can finally get ready and set off to school, I should be able to make it on time if I decide to put in a bit of effort¡± (Kazuki)


    The youth raised a mischievous smile while talking to himself before deciding to check on something which he did every morning.


    ¡°As always it¡¯s annoying as hell to say out loud because anyone who hears looks at me like I¡¯m some sort of chuunibyou which pisses me of always¡­¡±

    This was the screen displayed in front of Kazuki¡¯s eyes daily, he had been able to see this screen daily for as long has he could remember, of course his stats weren¡¯t this high from the beginning, Kazuki decided to conceal these abilities of his and train them to the best of his ability. Over the 9 years of training Kazuki was constantly experimenting with the different skills and abilities he has and overtime would unlock many different abilities which would be very useful to him in certain scenarios.

    Throughout the years Kazuki could improve his abilities and improve the different elements and attributes which were displayed in his status screen. The average strength of a male human would be around 20 and if the person trained all their life they would only be able to increase this to 35 as the limit. Due to Kazuki having a specially built body which allows him to use Mana it allows him to go beyond the limits of the average human and become stronger and faster than any ordinary human being.


    (POV) ¨C Kazuki


    Hey there, Kazuki here. I am an average high school 2<sup>nd</sup> year in the eyes of society and to those around me they see me as a lazy and quite cold individual. The reason I am lazy due to my powers is because having these powers and nobody at my level who can put up a decent fight, despite me seeming arrogant just now what I said was true, no person would be able to beat me in a fight, or in a race if I even used 25% of my full powers.


    Even with inhuman physical abilities I still have my other abilities which are magic and skills. The magic I have allows me to access a variety of attributes from fire to lightning and I can use a total of 7 so far with a mysterious attribute I cannot understand no matter how much time I put into using it.


    I am moderately good at using all the attributes which are available to me and can cast and manipulate the element with ease.


    Each of the different elements have something unique they can do which can help in different situations, an example would be Dark magic which allowed me to manipulate a small fog of darkness when I began using my powers, however overtime I developed it and it has many more uses which help me out a lot such as allowing me to tamper with someone¡¯s memory in case they see me using my abilities or using it to suggest for someone to do something in which they would have no choice to due to their lack of resistance to magic.


    The opposite of the darkness element, which is light, in the beginning allowed me to heal very small wounds such as scratches which were only a few inches big, however over time and with a lot of practise which involved lots of injuries onto my self, by the way I¡¯m not a masochist, I was able to make the light heal almost all external injuries as well as allowing for me to cure basic illnesses such as a cold of the flue.


    The other elements I have allow for what the name says such as fire allows me to create huge amounts of fire to be summoned at will and these flames are extremely hot and are almost as hot as lava from within the Earth¡¯s mantle.


    The water element allows for torrents of water to be summoned by will and this water can be manipulated to do many tasks such as for attacking, defending and even drinking.


    The lightning element is a very unique element which allows for huge amounts of purple lightning to be summoned into my hands. The element is very unique as the lightning can be created through using Mana or it can also be taken directly from the clouds during a storm.


    The wind element allows for me to summon huge amounts of wind from the surroundings which is very useful for situations when I am in a hurry such as being late for school which is the current situation right now.


    The final element I can use if the earth element which might sound plain but it is very useful when it is used. It allows me to use the earth and several elements from below the ground or from around me such as stone, dirt, bricks etc.


    I also have several different skills which I have trained across the years, I have a skill in most weapons ranging from sword and dagger mastery to gun and bow mastery. For some reason when training to use a weapon I would almost immediately pick up a skill on that specific weapon, but getting the weapon to mastery took many years of combat and honing these skills.


    In the past I had used the summer holidays to travel around the many dojos and challenging students of these dojos in the weapon arts they were proficient in, through these experiences I was able to train my senses in real combat and be able to see small but crucial details such as killing intent and an opponent¡¯s true strength.


    When I was younger due to my powers I gained a bit of arrogance believing I was unbeatable however I was put into place by an experienced user in the sword and despite the old man¡¯s strength not being high his technique completely broke through my raw power which had no technique to it at all.


    After experiencing this defeat, I managed to put away this arrogance and realised even if I was stronger than the average human by many times it meant nothing if I fought recklessly and was arrogant.


    After gaining many different experiences throughout the years I could create my own techniques through copying and moulding together the different styles and techniques I saw in the different fighting schools across the country.


    I picked up techniques from several countries from across the world ranging from Muay Thai to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. From traveling to many different countries across the globe and seeing and taking on these techniques I formed my own martial and sword arts which were made to suit me specifically.


    ¡°Huh, oh shit its 8:35 I¡¯m going to be so late well missing the first 5-10 minutes isn¡¯t too bad anyways so I shouldn¡¯t be punished to much anyways¡± (Kazuki)This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.


    Realising that he had spent too much time looking over his status screen Kazuki started to get changed into his uniform and get out of his house as quick as possible as he was going to be late.


    He rushed out with his money in hand, forgetting his already made lunch, and rushed out of the front door to get to school as quick possible.


    (POV) 2-C Classroom


    The classroom was currently filled with the chatter of many different students in the classroom talking about a variety of topics from sports to manga. In this classroom Kazuki''s childhood friends Luna and Daichi were currently sat in two pushed together desks while conversing with their group.


    Within this group were Luna and Daichis friends they managed to befriend from the beginning of high school. There was a total of 5 of them together currently conversing, including Mia.


    ¡°Damn that lazy guy is going to be late again what the heck does he do at night which makes him so lazy in the morning¡± (Daichi)


    The conversation seemed to have switched topics onto Kazuki which was very common for this group of friends. Daichi switched to this topic while having a wry smile on his face.


    ¡°I know I wish he could be a bit more considerate towards us and his sister we haven¡¯t walked to school together in a long time jeez¡± (Luna)


    The blonde haired bishoujo responded with a loud and annoyed expression while her lips were pouting and she had the look of a child being teased on her face.


    ¡°Well it isn¡¯t too surprising you know he is late most days and sometimes skips days which makes sensei go berserk on him and even sensei constant outbursts don¡¯t seem to affect him¡± (Mark)


    The one to respond this time was Mark Izugi, a fully Japanese youth with dark brown hair and eyes who seemed to respond in a jokey attitude towards Kazuki''s behaviour.


    ¡°It¡¯s currently 8:43 so he is most likely going to be late once again but I wonder how much he will be late by today anyone wanna take a bet, anyways I heard someone was transferring in today but I wonder if that was true or not?¡± (Sylvia)


    The one to respond here was Sylvia Hitomi, she was a girl who had dark raven hair with tints of purple which seemed to be dyed into her hair, she responded while seemingly being uninterested and staring at her smartphone.


    ¡°He really is an idiot he ignores us all time and is always seemingly uninterested in anything, I remember when he used to disappear in holidays and come back a couple days before the holidays ended he really is a mystery even to me¡± (Mia)


    His sister responded with her usual sharp tone will mocking her brother but her face also seemed to carry a slightly sad expression which wasn¡¯t missed by the rest of the group.


    ¡°Anyways its 8:45 now so you should get going now Mia or your gonna be late¡± (Sylvia)


    ¡°Oh crap ok anyways see you guys later then¡± (Mia)


    ¡°Yeah see you later¡± (Everyone)


    They all responded by sending off the youth and waving to her until she left the room. Then the entrance suddenly slammed open and in came Kirima-sensei who looked towards the seat furthest back and closest to the window and sighed.


    Everyone in the room seemed to understand why Kirima-sensei sighed when they followed where his eyes which were looking at the vacant seat which was next to the window and furthest away from the front.


    This seat belonged to Kazuki and it was vacant almost always now of day due to his extreme popularity across not just the classroom, but the entire school as the guy who is never on time.


    ¡°Well forgetting about that assho- I mean guy we have a new student transferring in and joining this class today¡± (Sensei)


    The sudden announcement caused a small ruckus to take place inside the classroom as not many knew a student was transferring in and there were only small rumours about this.


    ¡°Quiet down your bickering is giving me a headache anyways come in Shiroyuki¡± (Sensei)


    After Kirima-sensei''s exclamation everyone quieted down and then the door suddenly slid open very slowly and a girl entered with a very elegant and noble aura.


    The room went dead silent as they seen the girl suddenly appear, the girl was a very beautiful girl with light blue hair which ran freely down to her shoulders which seemed to shine as bright as a jewel. Her eyes were also blue however they seemed to carry more darkness than her hair and looked like a pair of sapphires glowing.


    ¡°Hello, my name is Shiroyuki Tanaka, I am from Britain but have been living in Japan for the past 3 years, I enjoy swordsmanship and sports and am currently in Japan to look for someone important to me, that is all¡±


    Her voice seemed very gentle however it carried a hint of sharpness which everyone could feel. The classroom was dead silent due to remark just now, no one would expect the girl in front of them to be interested in swordsmanship especially a girl like her who in their eyes seemed sheltered.


    ¡°Sorry for the intrusion¡± (Kazuki)


    Suddenly the classroom door flung open and the familiar carefree youth popped in and just casually started to walk towards his desk. Everyone was dumbstruck at how the youth had just casually entered and muttered the phrase like he was entering someone¡¯s home.


    However, the most shocked of all was the girl who had just introduced herself. She seemed to carry shock on her face however everyone could see slight tears welling up at the corner of her eyes.


    ¡°e-eh, i-is that you K-Kazuki?¡± (Shiroyuki)


    The blue-haired youth blurted out in a loud and emotional voice, then suddenly the carefree youth turned around and faced her looking at her with his sharp green eyes. However, the youths face suddenly changed into a slight smile and replied.


    ¡°Eh Shiro how comes you¡¯re here I thought you still lived in Britain?¡± (Kazuki)


    Everyone was suddenly shocked at the small conversation between the two, rather than being shocked at his attitude it was more at how he addressed her with a casual nickname which suggested they were very close.


    ¡°Y-you idiot I-i moved here to find you do you know how upset I was when you suddenly left without saying any good byes or warnings, I was heart-broken when you left you i-idiot¡± (Shiroyuki)


    The youth suddenly burst in to tears and then ran at Kazuki while suddenly embracing him and repeatedly hitting his chest with soft fists.


    ¡°Y-yeah sorry about that there were circumstances which came up so I had to return home so don¡¯t get upset ok, also you should think about the surroundings before you suddenly get intimate you know¡± (Kazuki)


    When Shiroyuki got out of Kazuki''s embrace she suddenly went as red as a tomato and then lightly coughed before stating.


    ¡°Sorry for taking up everyone¡¯s time with this small little talk I hope you can excuse my behaviour¡±


    The youth addressed the class with a bow and while Kazuki was making his way to his desk while trying to reduce the attention on him suddenly some ice-cold words froze him in his place.


    ¡°And Kazuki¡­... Make sure to be around at break, lunch and the end of school okay, I need to teach you that running away from me was the biggest mistake you ever made *CRACK*¡±


    The bi-shoujos youths attitude suddenly took a 180-degree leap as she appealed to Kazuki in an ice-cold voice which could be felt by the entire classroom while slowly cracking her knuckles and giving a creepy smile while showing eyes as if she were looking at a cockroach.


    ¡°Y-yeah ok we can chat later let¡¯s just leave that till later, and I am really sorry about leaving you Shiro¡± (Kazuki)


    Then everyone in the class currently came to their senses while staring at the pair who seemed to be like a wife chasing down her husband who abandoned her. Even Kirima-sensei was surprised at the conversation which took place between the two.


    The group consisting of Luna, Daichi and the rest of their gang were the most shocked as they always thought that Kazukis only friends were them due to him giving off an anti-social aura however just now they saw a beautiful girl who had an unknown relationship with Kazuki actually get intimate with him and they also saw Kazuki smile genuinely for the first time in a long time.


    Daichi and the other 3 were curious as to who this mysterious girl was as she seemed to have a past with Kazuki and he also mentioned her living in Britain which suggests him travelling their sometime in the past.


    Luna however was different and seemed to carry different emotions which were shock and jealousy. The shock was from seeing someone other than her and her friends being close to Kazuki and him responding in a seemingly gentle and condescending tone towards the girl, and jealousy as the fact that Kazuki seemed to value this girl very much as he smiled towards her and even apologized as well as having some special nickname towards her.


    ¡°Anyways after this seemingly heart-warming reunion of ¡­. Well I don¡¯t know what the relationship between the two is however let¡¯s get on with the rest of the lesson¡± (Sensei)


    Kirima-sensei added a quick joke in an attempt to annoy Kazuki but wanted to move along the lesson as well however a reply from the blue-haired youth put that out of possibility.


    ¡°Actually, sensei our relationship is quite special from other relationships as that man over their Kazuki Trask is my fianc¨¦ and husband-to-be¡± (Shiroyuki)


    To this remark everyone suddenly froze as this bombshell was casually dropped and everyone let out a voice of confusion.

    The whole class suddenly exploded at the remark made by Shiroyuki. What made them even more surprised was the way that Kazuki responded to this claim, he just stopped momentarily before making his way towards the desk once again and just casually sitting down.


    ¡°When did I become your fianc¨¦, I don¡¯t remember promising to marry you or ever getting engaged to you like some anime clich¨¦¡± (Kazuki)


    The response to Shiroyuki¡¯s claim was suddenly reprimanded by Kazuki who had no memories of ever promising to marry her in the time he spent in Britain however there was something bothering him as he thought to himself ¡°Did I really promise to marry her, there is no way right?¡±. However, Shiroyuki¡¯s reply seemed to set his memory straight.


    ¡°It is true you know, even though it wasn¡¯t any sort of promise made together it was put together by my Father. When we were in Britain together you lost against my Father and promised to fulfil any request or wish he had in the future¡± (Shiroyuki)


    The sudden revelation from Shiroyuki caused the laid-back youth to widen his eyes in surprise, the remark made by Shiroyuki was indeed true that when he was in Britain 3 years ago he lost match against Shiroyuki¡¯s father Allen Tanaka.


    Shiroyuki¡¯s father Allen Tanaka who had very similar features to Shiroyuki, having the iconic blue hair but with brown eyes. He was a handsome man and still looked to be in his 20¡¯s despite being 49 years of age.


    He was an expert in many different forms of combat and having a very high and prestigious position inside the British Army and was well respected by his peers due to his achievements and service inside the army.


    After serving for many years inside the army and racking up a lot of influence and power from within the army he decided to put his military career on hold and decided to move to his hometown of Cornwall to raise his daughter who was being raised by his parents their due to his wife¡¯s absence.


    In the years he raised his daughter he decided to open a small school for swordsmanship in his town and train the people who were interested in basic swordsmanship and to teach is daughter the style he was taught by his family.


    (POV) Third Person [Britain 3 Years Ago]


    At about the time his daughter was coming close to her teenage years a boy suddenly entered his school and seemed to be looking for the owner of the school for a reason which wasn¡¯t stated. This surprised the man as the boy seemed the same age as his daughter who was still only in the intermediate stages of her swordsmanship which was quite talented for a youth of her age.


    When the man looked at the boy he seemed to carry an aloof and intimidating aura with him. The boy¡¯s sharp eyes seemed to carry a hint of arrogance as if looking down on those in his path. The youth¡¯s hair was also a rare colour of white which the man had never seen before.


    ¡°Are you the leader of this school?¡± (Kazuki)


    The boy turned his sharp eyes towards the man which made him flinch for a moment due to the coldness of the voice which was directed towards him, the voice sounded as if it was coming from a monster rather than a young boy.


    ¡°Yes, I am, what could I do for you Mr ¨C ah sorry I haven¡¯t got your name could you please tell me so I know how to address you by¡± (Allen)


    The man replied in a kind voice which carried a hint of wariness due to the boy seemingly looking for him. ¡°Could the boy want to learn from the school or is he after something else?¡±. The man was confused to what the boy was after and was thinking of the multiple different possibilities in his head.

    The boy¡¯s aura seemed to be that of an experience fighter and someone who had experienced fighting and warfare and in the eyes of Allen seemed to carry the aura of a seasoned veteran in combat rather than some beginner.


    The boy seemed to rudely dismiss the man¡¯s question and immediately got down to the main point of his visit.


    ¡°I am here to challenge the leader of this school to a 1 on 1 duel in the weapon art they are most proficient in, let¡¯s see¡­ Looking around this place there are a lot of bokken around the place, I would say you¡¯re a sword school. So, swordsmanship it is huh¡± (Kazuki)

    The young boy stared at the surroundings inside the building which had a lot of bokkens on the floor in scattered piles. There was a chalked-out area where matches between the students took place as well as dummies which were to be used as targets for the beginners to practice their technique on static targets.


    Allen was surprised at how the boy casually pointed out the weapon arts the school practise and decided to challenge as if the boy had only just realised that this place was a school for swordsmanship.


    ¡°That¡¯s correct this is a school for people to practise the Tanaka style which has been practised by my family for many generations, and I am Allen Tanaka the leader of this school and a user of the Tanaka, could I please get your name?¡± (Allen)


    The man confirmed Kazuki¡¯s claims that the school was proficient in the art of the sword and replied to the youth in a seemingly gentle voice however it seemed to display a sharp tone towards the end as he repeated the previous question he got no reply from.


    ¡°Oh, I am Kazuki, and would I be able to challenge you now I have quite a limited schedule and would like to finish this as quickly as possible if you don¡¯t mind¡±


    The boy seemed to be getting impatient which was heard from the tone of his voice which also carried a bit of aggression. By now several of the students of the school were gathered together and were listening to the conversation between their teacher and the mysterious youth, this included Allen¡¯s daughter, Shiroyuki, as well.


    ¡°Before you challenge me I would like to test your strength with people who are more within your age group, if you beat your opponent I will gladly take on your challenge¡± (Allen)


    The man responded with a serious tone as he stared at the youth.


    They started to make their way towards the arena where the matches of the school frequently took place and Kazuki walked up to the opposing end of the pitch while picking up one of the bokkens which was in a neat stack against the wall.


    ¡°Is this sword style one handed or dual wielding, I don¡¯t really have a preference just curious as I want to fight with the same equipment as my opponent¡± (Kazuki)


    The boy glared towards Allen with a bored expression which seemed to carry a bit of interest into what type of sword style this school taught.


    ¡°We only train with one sword, if you prefer to use two swords and dual wield that is fine by me¡± (Allen)


    ¡°No, I¡¯d prefer to use what my opponent is using so who is my opponent or are all of them coming at me together?¡± (Kazuki)


    The youth stared towards the group of students who seemed to be angered by what he had said, he turned away from the group as if they were out of his sight which further riled them up.


    ¡°You can go against Ben, he is 15 years old and is one of the best students in the school and has trained the sword style to intermediate rank which requires a lot of talent for someone his age¡± (Allen)


    The man seemed to reply with a triumphant and proud expression as he looked over towards a youth who was at the front of the students.


    ¡°Why do I have to fight him, he is just some brat who has learned a little sword style and believes he is better than everyone else¡± (Ben)


    The youth glared at Kazuki with an angered expression as he seemed offended by the words and behaviour of Kazuki from his previous statement.


    ¡°It doesn¡¯t matter if he is skilled or not he requested to challenge me and I promised the boy if he is able to defeat you I will have a match against him so shut up and take your position¡± (Allen)


    Allen seemed to be dissatisfied with the attitude his student showed towards having a match against Kazuki but he did understand that Ben was prideful like himself and being looked down upon by someone younger and weaker than yourself is quite embarrassing.


    The two boys then walked towards the arena and were opposite each other and getting into position, the length of the field was around the size of a soccer field which provided space for the participants to move around.


    ¡°Right you seem to be in position are you both ready, on the count of 3 the match will begin¡± (Allen)


    ¡°Yeah sure¡± (Kazuki)


    ¡°Let¡¯s finish this quickly and put this little brat back into place¡± (Ben)


    Kazuki who just responded in a casual tone while Ben was still annoyed which was further filed by the fact his opponent didn¡¯t seem to see him as a threat at all.


    ¡°Okay then¡­¡±(Allen)

    And then suddenly a torrent of wind shot out from the arena and the youth with his bokken at an unmeasurable speed suddenly rushed towards the youth who was caught off guard.


    In 5 seconds the youth managed to reach his opponent and an event which shocked the entire crowd occurred.

    The sudden crashes came from the bokken being smashed multiple different positions on the youth¡¯s body.


    *BANG*


    An agile strike hit him in his arm causing him to retract his bokken slightly which gave an opening for another strike.


    *BANG*


    Another quick and precise strike which pierced the body gear of the youth and the power behind the thrust caused the youth to tumble back a bit more.


    Confused at how such a person could have this much strength caused him to feel anger as he started to let his emotions control him.


    He suddenly let out a large grunt and fixed his position and charged again towards his opponent.


    The way his opponent moved was as if he was a blur because every time he would strike he would hit the air rather than his opponent.


    He felt like he was being toyed with which caused his anger to be fuelled to its limit and his blood was boiling like a pit of lava. He felt like he was being controlled as if his opponent was reading his moves right before he would strike.


    ¡°BANG¡±


    A final slash caused the youth to stumble down and lose the grip of his bokken. When he hit the floor, there was a long and eerie silence which filled the atmosphere.


    All the people were staring towards the youth who was standing and displaying an expression as if he hadn¡¯t even moving in the first place.


    This youth was of course Kazuki, he suddenly moved back towards the starting position of the arena and stared towards Allen.


    ¡°I fulfilled the promise right so now I get to fight you, don¡¯t I? I would like to start this as soon as possible so please make your preparations¡± (Kazuki)


    ¡°Yeah, I did promise you so I will fight you, however you shouldn¡¯t look down on an opponent too much you know. I would like to advise you that it¡¯s okay to carry a bit of arrogance and pride but you shouldn¡¯t let it consume you and make you look down on others¡± (Allen)


    The man looked towards Kazuki with a serious expression while giving him a bit of advice. The youth seemed to pick up on that and nodded towards the man with his casual demeanour.


    The man equipped the body gear and picked up the bokken and slowly made his way towards the starting point in the arena.


    The people watching the match were tense and were quite shocked.


    They were tense as they were watching their Sensei going against someone who was younger than them and he seemed quite serious about the match.


    They were shocked at how easily Ben had been defeated and how quickly it had been done. The match between Ben and Kazuki only lasted for around 30 seconds with Ben getting no strikes while Kazuki hit all 3 of his strikes with speed and precision.


    They watched as their teacher and the boy named ¡°Kazuki¡± were opposite each other and staring towards each other.


    Both opponents seemed to be calmly analysing the other and checking to see if their opponent was showing and weaknesses or openings.


    A girl suddenly came forward from the crowd and walked towards the middle of the field and gave a glance to both participants before stating.


    ¡°Since dad is the one competing this time I will be the one to countdown the match, are you ready?¡±


    The girl has short hair which went to her shoulders and it was tied into a small pony tail which was held together by a red ribbon, the girl had blue hair and eyes and stared towards both participants before asking the question. She posed the question towards the man who seemed to be her father and then looked towards the boy


    ¡°Yes, start the countdown¡± (Allen)


    ¡°Yeah¡± (Kazuki)


    The participants replied with an eager tone which sounded like they were excited as they both glared at each other with anticipation.


    ¡°Okay then I the match will begin in¡± (Shiroyuki)


    ¡°3¡±

    Both opponents leapt out at inhumane speed, the one surprised the most by this was Kazuki as he had never fought an opponent who was able to match up to him in terms of speed, however this thought was put to the back of his head as he began concentrating on the match.


    *CLASH* *CLASH* *CLASH*


    As they both reached each other the sound of swords clashing was echoing throughout the room, despite using wooden swords the sound which came from the clashing of the bokken sounded like steel swords clattering against each other.


    Each of the opponents were using good amounts of strength in an attempt to overwhelm the other one, and Kazuki who was confident in having more strength felt that he was overwhelming his opponent which caused a slight grin to appear on his face.


    *SLASH*


    The grin he displayed was completely gone from his face as he tried to replay what had just happened in that second.


    *SLASH* *SLASH*


    Before he could figure out what had happened another two slashes had hit him, one on his leg and another on his lower torso.


    Kazuki realise that he had just been hit 3 times in a row with a first hit landing on his arm and another 2 consecutive hits on his leg and torso.


    ¡°W-what the heck, how did you hit me?¡± (Kazuki)


    The youth responded with a shocked face as he stared towards the man who seemed to be smiling towards the youth.


    ¡°I was just using the technique of my sword style rather than using brute force which you are doing, although that is a good way to overwhelm your opponents it won¡¯t always guarantee victory¡± (Allen)


    The man responded while smiling towards the youth and giving him a bit of advice on how the 3 strikes had hit him. Although the man seemed to be unharmed by any of the youths attacks he was very surprised by the power he had displayed.


    When he clashed swords with the youth he felt shock because of the power behind the slash the youth had attacked with, it was strong enough to push him back who had been training his body and technique for 35 years.


    The man didn¡¯t show this shock on his face and kept an expressionless face while facing the youth so that the youth wouldn¡¯t become too arrogant and cocky during the fight.


    ¡°T-technique? Isn¡¯t strength and speed good enough to be able to overwhelm your opponent and defeat them quickly?¡± (Kazuki)


    The youth posed another question to the man as he was quite interested in the technique the man had used to land the hits on him just now, by now the arrogance and aloofness the youth was radiating was gone and was showing a shocked and intrigued expression towards the man.


    ¡°Sure, strength and speed will allow you to defeat an opponent easily but if you don¡¯t utilize it to its full potential by creating different techniques you will face people who may be weaker and slower than you but are still able to defeat you with techniques¡± (Allen)


    ¡°Techniques are about combining different elements and movements to come together and perform a technique. The technique I did just now combined speed and strength so that you couldn¡¯t see the movements of the sword and they still landed some good hits on you right?¡± (Allen)


    The man smiled towards the youth as he was surprised at how the youth had suddenly transformed from an arrogant boy into someone who was genuinely interested in the techniques of his opponent rather than cursing and getting angry at getting hit.


    ¡°Hmm, I guess you are right I haven¡¯t really used techniques before as I believed my speed and strength were good enough to beat my opponent however seeing the technique you displayed as well as the information you told me I am interested in how a technique could improve my current abilities, thank you for explaining it to me I will put it to good use in the future. (Kazuki)


    The youth looked towards the man while smiling and showing a grateful face, which shocked the crowd as the youth had been stern ever since he had come to the school.


    The man felt shocked as well but he also felt respect for the boy as he was happy at learning something new rather than feeling angry at being in a losing position.


    ¡°Well then let¡¯s finish this up then, if you like I will show you some of my other techniques if you would like to learn?¡± (Allen)


    ¡°Yeah let¡¯s continue and I would be grateful if you could show me some of your techniques so I can get an idea on how to create my own¡± (Kazuki)


    They both stared towards each other and smiled as they prepared their bokkens and were about to charge at each other before Allen raised a quick suggestion


    ¡°How about we make a bet that whoever loses must do something which the winner decides, it can¡¯t be anything dangerous or life-threatening but it would be quite fun to have a wager what do you think¡± (Allen)


    The man smiled mischievously towards the youth who was quite shocked by the proposition which changed into a grin and responded with.


    ¡°Sure, that does make the match a bit more interesting, you will still show me the techniques no matter the outcome of the match, right?¡± (Kazuki¡±)


    ¡°Yeah, I won¡¯t go back on my word I just wanted to make the match a bit more interesting¡± (Allen)


    They readied their swords and once again charged towards each other.


    Kazuki was watching carefully while enhancing his eyes so that he could see the technique that Allen was going to use as he was excited but cautions to see if he would use another technique.


    The man then started to move his sword in multiple directions which made the sword look like it was bending, this new technique displayed made Kazuki excited as he felt happy fighting against an opponent who gave him a challenge.


    He was unsure on where his opponent¡¯s sword was going to strike so he decided to dodge to the left while parrying which seemed like the safest option however the block he hoped for never happened when suddenly.


    *BANG* *SLASH* *SLASH*


    The youth fell onto the flaw with a loud bang as he realised what had just happened a gentle voice suddenly came into his ear


    ¡°The match is over the winner is father¡± (Shiroyuki)


    The girl announced the results of the match with a cheerful tone as she came over towards the two competitors


    ¡°Sorry for being a little rough there, I haven¡¯t fought like that in years you¡¯re a tough kid you know¡± (Allen)


    He came over to Kazuki with an apologetic expression while stretching the back of his head awkwardly. He then offered his other hand to pull the youth off of the floor which Kazuki accepted.


    ¡°Looks like we will be training together for a while, you are from around, here right?¡± (Allen)


    ¡°No, but I am staying here I guess I will extend my stay for a month before heading back home to Japan¡± (Kazuki)


    They both looked at each other while shaking each other¡¯s hand and then suddenly a voice from behind caught Kazuki¡¯s attention.


    ¡°Hello, I am Shiroyuki Tanaka, I believe your name is Kazuki right. The man you just fought is my father and I am his direct student, since you seem to be learning under him for a while I hope we can get along¡± (Shiroyuki)


    The blue haired girl offered out her hand towards Kazuki who extended his hand to shake her hand and replied.


    ¡°Yeah, my name is Kazuki, Kazuki Trask i guess we will be training together for a while so let¡¯s get along¡± (Kazuki)


    The youth let out a gentle smile towards the girl while staring directly into her eyes which seemed to make her feel embarrassed as she retracted her hand.


    ¡°Y-yeah let¡¯s get along from now on Kazuki¡± (Shiroyuki)


    ¡°Yeah sure¡± (Kazuki)

    After Kazuki came back to his senses after reminiscing about the first meeting between him and Shiroyuki. he turned towards her with an aloof expression and addressed Shiroyuki with a smile.


    ¡°I can see your eager to continue this discussion so we can continue it later, just go take your seat as we are disrupting the class you know¡± He pointed out the interruption the 2 had cause with a mischievous smile.


    ¡°Yeah, I guess you¡¯re right, you should be free after school, right? If so we can pick this up from there¡± Shiroyuki replied with a nod as she made her way towards her seat.


    ¡°Also, I am sorry for interrupting the lesson with our conversation, if you wish to give out a punishment I will not go against your judgement¡± She turned towards Kimura-sensei then bowed and apologized with an earnest expression.


    ¡°Oh no, Shiroyuki-san there is no need to apologize it must be surprising to reunite with someone after a long time apart. At least you apologized and aren¡¯t as shameless as others¡± Kimura-sensei added with a flustered expression and then turned towards Kazuki with an expression filled with annoyance and mocking.


    ¡°Anyways class after our slight delay let¡¯s get on with the lesson I have planned today, everyone gets out your History textbooks and turn to page 134¡± Kimura-sensei started to take control of the previously chaotic classroom before continuing with what he had planned to do from the beginning.


    Once Kimura-sensei had begun to control the classroom again the atmosphere died down and everyone started getting on with the lesson. There were still people whispering and staring towards both Kazuki and Shiroyuki with gazes filled with curiosity.


    The lesson seemed to drag on for Kazuki, who put his head down on the desk and began to try and sleep mid-way through the lesson, which was met with a chalk rocket delivered towards his temple at lightning-fast speed by Kimura-sensei.


    Despite the frightening speed and impact of the chalk it still didn¡¯t manage to wake him up, mainly due to a barrier of mana cast around his body which he had prepared for this specific situation, which had occurred many times over the year.

    Kimura-sensei just signed and got on with his lesson, it seemed as if he had given up on attempting to wake-up Kazuki as his attempts usually failed no matter how hard he tried.


    In the past he had tried several techniques to wake up the slumbering youth, this included shouting as load as he could into the youth¡¯s ear, throwing objects at the youth¡¯s head, and even repeatedly shaking the youths body. None of the attempts had worked which at first shocked him but now he wasn¡¯t even surprised that the youth remained unaffected by the chalk rocket.


    The classmates also stared towards Kazuki who was unaffected by the chalk rocket blasted towards the youth with unsurprised gazes as they had witnessed first-hand the techniques used by Kimura-sensei to wake up the youth which had never been to successful.


    The youth usually woke up when the class was about to end which was surprising as it was as if he had alarm clock inside of his head to indicate when classes would end, this theory was partly true.


    Kazuki had many different physical abilities he could use on his body by utilizing the different parts of his body to perform them, this included his brain which was also enhanced along with his body.


    The enhanced brain allowed for Kazuki to gain many benefits which included a photographic memory, as well as being able to sense the things around him when he was in an unconscious state like right now.


    The ability allowed him to be able to shut out all external forces and sleep peacefully without any interference, he could sense when he was in danger or when there were any threats nearby which was why the attempts at waking him up from Kimura-sensei didn¡¯t work as they weren¡¯t done with malicious intent which aimed to kill.


    The familiar sight caused his childhood friends and co to sigh at his usual antics, having been with Kazuki for many years Luna and Daichi understood that Kazuki was a very shameless person and didn¡¯t really care about what the people in the surroundings though about his actions and whether they were right or wrong.


    Looking at the youth performing his usual routine of sleeping throughout the class they could only express a wry smile and get on with the lesson, however the childhood friends and co still had the memory of what happened before fresh on their mind.This story has been taken without authorization.     ¡®He is my fianc¨¦¡¯ Just what the heck did she mean by that and how did a girl like her become engaged to him?


    This concerned them as they thought that they knew Kazuki well enough to be able to know if he was engaged, they knew Kazuki seemed to have his secrets which he kept to himself but they still had mixed feelings about not knowing this information.


    The one most surprised by this was of course Luna, she was shocked to find out that Kazuki had a fianc¨¦. She had no idea that Kazuki was in that sort of relationship as he had never really shown to much interest in love and getting into a relationship with a girl.


    Despite Kazuki being lazy and shameless he could still be classed as a handsome youth as he had a well-toned body which seemed to carry muscle despite the youth not participating in any sports or club activities. He had quite a mature face which seemed to fit an adult rather than a 16-year-old kid. He also had his unique features which were his sharp green eyes and messy white hair which would allow him to be easily identified by anyone who knew him.


    Since when the hell did he have a fianc¨¦ and why didn¡¯t he tell us about it, I doubt even Mia would know about this as she would have told us about it, jeez why is that guy so secretive about everything he does. Luna though to herself with a pouty expression. She seemed to be upset about Kazuki keeping this a secret from her.


    Wait!? Didn¡¯t she mention meeting him in Britain, and it seems like this was quite a while back. I don¡¯t ever remember Kazuki & Mia ever going on vacation to Britain which means he must of went alone.


    The groups mind suddenly jolted at the mark previously made by Shiroyuki. They remembered her stating she was from Britain and moved to Japan 3 years ago to look for someone important to her did that mean that the one she was looking for was Kazuki?


    This situation is getting weird I will consult Mia with it later to see if she remembers Kazuki going to Britain in the past, if not it could explain why he disappears frequently and comes back after weeks or months.


    Daichi seemed to be piecing together information he knew about Kazuki from before and the information picked up from Shiroyuki¡¯s introduction and conversation with Kazuki. He was going to wait till later to discuss with Mia to see if she knew anything about the youth¡¯s frequent disappearances.


    The disappearance act from Kazuki was a very common thing as he would go missing here and there, it was mostly during times when school was on break but there were a few occurrences where he would go missing during school hours with no contact with his family and friends for hours or even days.


    When he first disappeared without a trace 4 years ago his family was worried about where he had gone but at first thought he had went to stay at a friend¡¯s house, however after him not going home the next day his parents called up his only friends Luna and Daichi to see where he was, they were shocked to find out Kazuki hadn¡¯t been staying at either of their houses.


    The worried parents began to think that Kazuki had been kidnapped by one of their business competitors as a hostage to threaten them into doing something. The worried pair called the police and used all the authority in their hands to look for Kazuki and make sure that he was safe.


    Despite their huge search campaign of looking for Kazuki there were no results which upset the parents and made them feel completely mortified. However, after 2 weeks Kazuki just walked through the front door while his parents were talking to the parents of Luna and Daichi who appeared to be consoling the depressed pair.


    His sudden appearance caused his parents to suddenly burst into tears and hug the youth strongly as if they wouldn¡¯t let go. After 10 minutes of letting out their emotions the parents suddenly asked what had happened to Kazuki and whether he had been abducted.


    The youth just replied, ¡°I was just travelling¡±, the remark caused the parents to feel reassured but at the same time they became angry at how the youth had been ¡°travelling¡± around for 2 weeks without saying a word to them beforehand.


    The youth apologized for his actions and received the punishment from his parents which was being grounded for the remaining week of the school term which didn¡¯t bother Kazuki to much as he was tired from the ¡°travelling¡± he had been doing.


    He also faced the harsh criticisms of his sister who scolded him for his actions of making his parents worried which seemed to cause him to apologise to her which in turn caused her to cry and leap into Kazuki¡¯s embrace.


    These disappearances kept on occurring after that time and they would sometimes last longer than the ones which he had done in the past and some even went as long as a month. This did anger his friends and family a lot as they didn¡¯t have any idea where he was and what he was doing but they kept getting used to it.


    And now that he was 16 years old he was already growing into a young man and seemed to be mature despite his laziness. While reminiscing these events the voice of Kimura-sensei¡¯s voice suddenly brought the youth¡¯s back to reality.


    ¡°Right everyone that is all for today, please don¡¯t forget we have a test coming up next Wednesday so please study for that, I will remind you once again if you fail you will have to attend lessons in the school break which is coming up shortly¡±


    The reactions from the class spread from nervousness to confidence, and from those who had no problems with studying and those who weren¡¯t very diligent at studying their attention was suddenly turned to a voice which seemed aloof but loud.


    ¡°Come on Shiroyuki lets go you wanted to have a discussion in private so let¡¯s go back to my place¡± Kazuki turned to Shiroyuki and made his way towards the door.


    The sentence he muttered just now shocked his classmates as it sounded as if he was inviting someone over for tea, not discussing an alleged engagement.


    ¡°Sure, let¡¯s go¡± Shiroyuki replied with a pleasant smile and following the youth.


    The class was left there with their mouths agape as the two youths casually walked out of the door and towards the school gates.

    Kazuki and Shiroyuki made their way out of the school grounds and were walking through the streets while causally talking as they did in their past, they discussed the events which happened after their parting 3 years ago and were conversing like they hadn¡¯t even parted at all.


    ¡°So, you kept on travelling even after coming to Britain, you could have come and visited me or even told me what you were doing you know¡± Shiroyuki stared towards Kazuki with a reproachful tone which didn¡¯t seem to fit her expression which seemed to be happy with their reunion.

    The two stopped at various shops while on the way back to Kazuki¡¯s home, they stopped at food stalls, briefly visited the mall and took a small walk through the park while catching up on the things they had experienced while being a part. While getting closer to Kazuki¡¯s house they came across his group of school friends and sister who were surrounded by a group of rough looking men.


    The men surrounded the group and were drawing closer, there were 4 men in total with 1 carrying a metal bat while the rest were barehanded. They were smiling down with lustful and arrogant gazes while looking at Mia, Luna and Sylvia. Daichi and Mark had some blood and bruises on their arms and face as it appeared they had tried to resist the group of ruffians.


    ¡°Now, now there isn¡¯t any need for you brats to resist all we want is to take these girls back and play with them a bit, I¡¯m sure the boss would reward us generously by bringing back these 3 beauties¡± One of the members had a disgusting expression as he stared towards the 3 girls who were trying their best to resist. He was a large guy with a huge belly with a greasy face.

    ¡°Oy little bitch how about we teach you some manners before we take you back to the boss, I¡¯m sure he won¡¯t mind if we discipline you before we take you back, you should still be usable even if you are half-broken¡± The one to speak this time was the ruffian who seemed to be the leader of this little group, he had a cheap cigarette in his mouth while holding a metal bat on his shoulder.


    ¡°As if I would let someone as disgusting as you even touch a hair on my body a creep like you should just go die¡± Mia responded by rushing towards the leader with surprising speed and kicked him in his sacred area.


    The man ended up dropping his half-finished cigarette and bat before falling onto his knees in pain from the attack which just occurred on his sacred area. He looked towards Mia with extreme anger in his eyes and released bloodlust which caused the people around to shake profusely.


    ¡°You little bitch that fucking hurt, I¡¯ve decided for doing that to me I¡¯m going to beat you until you are half dead and then take you to the boss¡± The man picked up his metal bat and rushed towards Mia and lifted his bat above his head with the intent of smashing it against Mia¡¯s head.


    The group behind Mia were unable to react to the man¡¯s sudden movements due to the speed at which he lunged forward but also because they were still in fear from the whole situation they could only watch helplessly as Mia was going to be attacked by the man.

    Tears started building up in Mia¡¯s eyes as the picture of the aloof Kazuki appeared in her mind as she called out in her mind to the youth as a last resort.     As she opened her eyes she saw the person she was just thinking about and called out for in her mind appear before her while holding the edge of the metal bat with ease while looking towards the youth with a mischievous smile.


    ¡°Yo Mia how¡¯s it going seems you¡¯re in a bit of a snitch here hm¡± Kazuki looked towards his sister who was on the ground and replied in a joking tone.


    ¡°Huh who the heck is you bastard get out the way can¡¯t you see I¡¯m trying to hit this bitch¡± The ruffian who was about to hit Mia was startled at the sudden appearance of a handsome youth who easily held of his attack


    *BOOM*


    The man was suddenly lifted into the air and shot into the wall at an extreme speed before the sound of cracking bones could be heard and he fell to the ground while unconscious. The sudden action caused everyone there to look towards the youth who had so easily done that, this youth was of course Kazuki. He stood while brushing of the dirt which had come onto his uniform from the man¡¯s bat. He then walked towards the weapon before picking it up and pointing it towards the other 3 members.


    ¡°I¡¯ve been watching and listening to what you guys have been saying so I think as punishment for threatening my sister I¡¯ll crush all your limbs, I¡¯m also curious which gang you work for in the city¡± The youth pointed the bat towards the other 3 members who were still in daze from what had happened to their leader.


    Despite their leader not being the highest member of the gang, he was still seen as someone in the top 3 fighters from within the gang, seeing him so easily taken out caused them to feel fear towards the youth who seemed to so easily crush him.


    ¡°W-what the heck are you talking about brat, I¡¯m sure that punch j-just now was a fluke I bet that you wouldn¡¯t be able to repe-¡° The man who called out Kazuki suddenly stopped his bickering as he looked towards his legs which were bent in an unusual way before letting out a painful scream.


    *CRACK* *CRACK* *SMASH*


    ¡°AAAAAARGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH¡± The man¡¯s screams reverted though the entire street as he fell onto the ground with tears in his eyes in obvious pain


    The group of Mia and the rest looked at Kazuki in surprise due to his mercilessness towards the gang member and how easily and hard he struck the legs which seemed to break like crackers. They along with the rest of the people couldn¡¯t help but shudder when they heard bones cracking and an inhumane scream.


    ¡°Jeez Kazuki you could have slowed down you know, we could work together to take these guys down, but no you just had to go ahead and leave me out of the fun¡± The sudden appearance of the blue-haired beauty caused everyone to stare at her as she addressed Kazuki with a voice of unhappiness and a pout on her lips.


    ¡°Well there are 2 left you can have them if you want but leave 1 alive so that I can get a bit of information of which group he works for okay¡± The youth turned towards the girl with a smile while giving her the go ahead to attack the other 2 members.


    ¡°W-wait we apologize please let us go we were just following leader¡±

    The 2 remaining members seemed to be apologetic at they began to beg for forgiveness when hearing how the youth had allowed for this girl to start attacking them and how he only wanted 1 of them alive.


    ¡°Sorry about that but I can¡¯t really let you live you dared to threaten my sister and were planning on doing vulgar things to her so even if you hadn¡¯t ended up doing anything for planning to do so you deserve death¡± The youth suddenly let out a wave of killing intent which made the 2 members fall onto the ground powerlessly as the pressure felt like a boulder being dropped onto them


    ¡°Looks like I¡¯m up then well then guys I hope you are looking forward to your next life¡± The girl addressed the 2 with a slight teasing tone however her face appeared serious as the lunged towards them.


    The 2 gang members were unable to respond to the sudden attack and could only watch powerlessly as the blue-haired girl appeared with 2 knifes and thrusted them into their necks. They could only slowly close their eyes as they lost their life¡¯s and question the choices they had made in this life.


    Everyone was shocked at how the girl had so easily killed the 2 members other than Kazuki who appeared to be used to being around this type of environment.


    ¡°Anyways, you tell me what group you work for¡± Kazuki looked towards the man who he had crippled as the man was squirming powerlessly on the ground like a worm.


    ¡°S-sure if I tell you w-will you please let me go¡± The man looked towards Kazuki in fear as he pleaded for his life


    ¡°That¡¯s for me to decide anyways tell me who you work for¡± The youth seemed to be losing his patience as he lifted the bat again preparing to attack again


    The man who was in complete fear spilled all the details to Kazuki about the gang he worked for which was the Dragon Palace, this was a small but famous gang around the city who were known to delve into all different marked such as slavery, drugs and assassination. The man explained that their boss ordered for members to pick up beautiful women they found on the streets and kidnap them to take back as slaves to be sold on the market.


    After getting the information Kazuki was thinking about what he should do when he suddenly raised his bat and smashed it against the man¡¯s head which instantly killed the man due to Kazuki having abnormal strength, the man¡¯s head seemed to pop as his head instantly spurted blood all around the area.


    The group which consisted of Mia, Luna, Sylvia, Daichi and Mark were surprised at how Kazuki had easily managed to kill and crush the man. His attitude towards killing the man seemed to be like his usual attitude and contained no disgust towards killing like he had experienced it many times.


    ¡°Well then looks like I have some work to do¡± The youth said while looking towards the distance.

 Chapter 7 - Gangs

    Chapter 7 ¨C Gangs


    ¡°Hah the gangs in this city really are a pain in the ass to deal with¡±


    Kazuki dropped the metal bat he used to cave in the skull of the gang member onto the ground and stretched his arms while cursing at the gangs of the city. There were frequent problems with the gangs within the city and all around the country. The city Kazuki was in was Masaki City which was a city which had over 1,000,000 residents in the area. The city had many different districts which offered many different activities for people to participate in however there were huge problems which had been coming up in the past few years which were gangs.


    There were many gangs set up across the city which claimed several districts as their territory and would setup their different services across these districts, the common practises the gangs were involved in were drugs, kidnapping, murder, and even human trafficking. The gang which had tried to kidnap Mia and the rest of the girls was the Dragon Palace which were a smaller sized gang which were famous in this district for their actions. There had been rumours circulating around the district that the gang had been kidnapping girls of any age of the street and taking them back to their base to do who knows what.


    Despite Kazuki having the power to deal with these gangs he thought there was no point in doing anything to them as they weren¡¯t personally bothering him in anyway or hadn¡¯t touched anyone he cared about, however after seeing his little sister almost beaten and kidnapped in his mind he was completely enraged and was about to go and slaughter the rest of this gang however he kept a cool appearance and turned towards Shiroyuki.


    ¡°Thanks for the help, even if I didn¡¯t need it I still appreciate it¡±


    ¡°Of course, I would help, this kinda reminds me of old times you know¡±


    The youths looked at each other while smiling as they were talking to each other, Kazuki was thankful to Shiroyuki for participating, while Shiroyuki was looking at Kazuki with a smile as she was reminiscing about the past.


    ¡°I hadn¡¯t really thought about doing anything to the gangs in this district since they weren¡¯t getting in my way but now I think I¡¯ll go pay this Dragon Palace bigshot a visit¡±


    The youth displayed a displeased expression on his face as he began pondering on how he should deal with the gang. There were 2 options he thought of on the top of his head which were to completely slaughter and destroy all assets of the Dragon Palace or to directly root out the leader kill him and let the gang decide on a new leader.


    ¡°Well its currently 4:34pm I think I can annihilate most of the gang before midnight you up for it Shiroyuki¡±


    ¡°Yeah I¡¯m up for it so we better hurry up and finish quickly as we still have important topics to discuss¡±


    The pair both smiled mischievously at each other while preparing to destroy the entire Dragon Palace and were completely ignoring the surroundings which contained the confused and slightly fearful group of teens who were still in shock from what had just occurred minutes before this situation, the first to step up and question was Mia who got up and rushed to her brother.


    ¡°B-brothe- I-I mean K-Kazuki w-what happened t-to those p-people did y-you k-kill them¡±


    ¡°Yeah those guys are dead¡±


    While Mia kept staring at the bloodied floor which contained the corpses of the several gang members, she stuttered in her words as she was scared due to never being accustomed to death as well as seeing someone killing another person, this shock was increased further as the one to perform the act was her brother. Watching someone you have been around for years and thinking you know everything about them kill someone so easily in front of your eyes isn¡¯t something you can easily forget.


    Mia was shocked due to how Kazuki had so easily killed someone and had lost interest in the people he killed like he was accustomed to this kind of scenario. The rest of Mia¡¯s friends which included Luna and the gang all started to come out of their shock as they walked up to Kazuki, Mia and Shiroyuki.

    Luna looked at Kazuki while wearing a clumsy smile as she was trying her best to hold back her feelings of the situation which had taken place, although she felt like jumping into Kazuki¡¯s embrace and receive comfort like Mia she read the mood and only gave her thanks to Kazuki.


    ¡°Yeah thanks a lot man but how the heck did you deal with them me and Mark tried to resist them but we were beaten up pretty bad¡±


    ¡°I know right those guys were pretty big guys and seemed to have combat experience but you and your girlfriend over there took them out instantly¡±


    ¡°Thanks for the help Kazuki and Shiroyuki-san¡±


    Daichi, Mark and Sylvia also responded with grateful but slightly curious responses to Kazuki and Shiroyuki. When they were attempting to resist the gang members despite Daichi and Mark having decent builds and practising low-level martial arts they were still beaten down quickly and lasted barely a minute before being bloodied and bruised.


    Mark and Daichi both participated in the martial arts club and had been members since middle school, they had a good amount of experience in marital arts and had the confidence to defeat anyone at least a couple years older than them with ease if they were in a fight.


    When they fought the hoodlums, they had realised that these guys had experience in fighting and despite them not using any polished methods of martial arts they had real combat experience which allowed them to overpower opponents like Daichi and Mark who had only ever fought in controlled environments.


    Both had watched out easily Kazuki and Shiroyuki had almost instantly defeated those hoodlums. They saw that Shiroyuki used speed and some foot techniques to draw close to the enemy then thrust the knife into the necks of the opponents. They both concluded that Shiroyuki was an expert in martial arts due to her technique and movements displayed.


    On the other hand, they had seen Kazuki use his strength to pick up a man who was at least a foot and a half taller than him as well as much heavier and throw him like trash into a wall with a lot of power. The power displayed has confused them as they hadn¡¯t ever seen Kazuki perform in any club activities in school.


    They had always known that Kazuki had an athletic body. When they had participated in sports or swim class they had seen that he had a body which contained almost no fat and all muscle which looked like a chiselled Greek statue.


    The final person Sylvia gave a basic response to Kazuki however she was still pondering on several things in her head. She had always suspected that Kazuki put on his lazy attitude but she didn¡¯t know why, she believe that he always hid his true personality from everyone else as he was always distant towards their group and she was always curious as to why.


    ¡°Sure, no problem, anyways Mia you go home there shouldn¡¯t be any more trouble since it¡¯s a couple of blocks away¡±


    ¡°E-eh aren¡¯t you coming with me¡±


    After the reactions from the group Kazuki was trying to urge Mia to go home so that he could get on with his plans however she was shocked that he wasn¡¯t going with her.


    ¡°No, I have some business to attend to before I come home I don¡¯t know when I will be back so don¡¯t wait up¡±


    ¡°What do you mean you have business to attend to¡­ w-wait you aren¡¯t going to look for the other members of this gang are you?¡±

    Despite him trying to repeatedly get Mia to go home she wouldn¡¯t budge and kept on trying to persuade him to go home with her.

    After seeing the situation between the two siblings Shiroyuki tried to inject into it and tried to reassure Mia with a smile however Mia seemed to get even more annoyed when being called ¡°little sister¡± by her.


    ¡°Hmm anyways if I end up staying out a bit to late I can go check into a hotel, or actually Shiroyuki do you mind if I crash at your place once we finish¡±


    ¡°My place huh, sure no problem I have a spare room you can use, it¡¯s your room anyways for when you stay over at my place in the future¡±

    ¡°Well then let¡¯s set of. Mia don¡¯t worry about anything I¡¯ll be fine I will give you a call once I finish up my business so see ya later¡±


    The two youths started dashing away at impossible speeds and the blonde-haired youth was unable to respond to the comment made to her before he had already left her sight. The rest of them were also in a daze at how Kazuki casually asked to stay at Shiroyuki¡¯s place and at how she had accepted so easily.

 Chapter 8 - Harassment

    Chapter 8 ¨C Harassment


    The sun was setting in the city now as the light which was shining on each building was decreasing steadily as the darkness began to consume it. The streets were starting to get less and less crowded and the shops were starting to close despite it still being rather early on a weekday. It was currently Thursday 31<sup>st</sup> November 2030 (Author: Thought I would add a time for reference) and it was a chilly evening. The time was 5:15pm and night was coming fast as it was currently autumn and leading up to winter and the nights were starting to get colder and darker much earlier than usual.


    As the darkness was starting to descend onto the city there were 2 figures rushing across the rooftops at high speeds, the speed was incomparable to what a normal human would be capable of especially when jumping from roof to roof. These two figures were Kazuki and Shiroyuki who were rushing towards the main location of the Dragon Palace.


    Along the way they met several members of the gang who were causing trouble in the streets by smashing up parked vehicles, breaking store windows and harassing the people who were still on the streets at that time. The main reason there were less people on the street was due to the gangs which were more active during the night-time. In the past many stores would stay open until around 9:00pm rather than closing several hours before that however most shop owners didn¡¯t want to be harassed by the gangs and lose business by having their stores damaged.


    As Kazuki and Shiroyuki leapt down onto the street they were seen by the gang members who seemed shaken at the appearance of 2 people leaping down from a high building. The members decided to shrug this off and ignore them as they continued harassing the people on the street.


    ¡°N-no please stop I¡¯m o-only in m-middle school p-please let me go¡±


    One of the people being harassed by these gang members was a girl dressed in a uniform that Kazuki seemed familiar with, the uniform was of the middle school department of his school. He was unfamiliar with the girl but was sure that this girl was one of his juniors from his school. Although Kazuki didn¡¯t enjoy playing the hero too much and would let someone else help there wasn¡¯t exactly anyone around to help rescue these people.


    Despite Kazuki being lazy and uninterested in the problems of others he wasn¡¯t that much of an asshole to ignore someone being harassed especially a young girl. As the group were continuously harassing the several people they surrounded they suddenly heard a calm voice behind them.


    ¡°Haah I¡¯m not into clich¨¦s or anything but it just had to be these guys who were harassing the people huh, might as well enjoy it, well then Shiroyuki let me deal with these ones¡±


    ¡°Sure, go ahead there all yours¡±


    The two conversed casually like they were deciding who got the last piece of cake which shocked both the gang members and the people being surrounded. The girl in the uniform of the middle school department in Kazuki¡¯s school looked towards the youth and seemed to recognize him.


    Kazuki was quite popular throughout the school for being good looking but having an uninterested attitude with everything. People would always see him sleeping throughout class or he wouldn¡¯t be attending school at all. He had one of the worst attendances in the school with a record of around 40% attendance overall, a lot of this included the times he would disappear during the day or turn up mid-way through class.


    There were also a lot of people who had confessed to him during school but Kazuki would always shoot down these people and would act uninterested in the persons feelings which caused a lot of people to see him in a negative light as he wouldn¡¯t take in to consideration the feelings of the person confessing to him.


    This girl knew all the rumours and details which were spread around about Kazuki but she wasn¡¯t really concerned about it as she had only seen the youth a few times. She was on good terms with someone to be considered Kazuki¡¯s friend which was Luna. She had known Luna for a few years as their parents were close as they made business deals commonly. She once asked Luna about Kazuki out of curiosity and Luna told her with a sad expression he seemed uninterested in the things around him which included school and relationships whether they be friendship or romantic.


    When the girl saw Kazuki approaching the gang members she was quite shocked at how he was calmly approaching them as well as planning to mark them like they were his prey. She turned to the left of the white-haired youth and saw a beautiful girl with blue-hair who seemed to be together with the youth. She recognized this girl as the recent transfer student into the high school department as Shiroyuki. Most people in school were discussing this transfer student as she was a beautiful girl and seemed to have a good personality, however most people were interested in the relationship she had with Kazuki.This narrative has been purloined without the author''s approval.     The events which took place when Shiroyuki had spread across the school like a virus and people were interested in the relationship between the laziest student in the school and this beautiful foreigner. The people knew that Shiroyuki had called Kazuki her fianc¨¦ but no one was sure if this was true or not. The people in the classroom could see that Shiroyuki held strong feelings for Kazuki but were unsure if he reciprocated these feelings.


    As she saw Kazuki approaching she felt happy that he was trying to help her but at the same time she wanted to call out and tell him to run however the words were stuck in her throat as she was still frightened in the current situation.


    ¡°Oy brat are you trying to play hero or something get the heck outta here before we cripple you¡±


    ¡°Yeah we can let you go if you fuck off now ¡°


    The two members who seemed to be leaders responded to Kazuki who was approaching with vulgar tones however they were cautious at the same time. They had seen these two youths behind them jumping down from a pretty high building without getting hurt which caused them to be a bit cautious and despite them emitting killing intent towards the teens they were unaffected by it.


    ¡°Yeah brat back off the chief here is bosses right hand man¡±


    ¡°Ahaha you better leave before we decide to chop off your limbs and play with that girl in front of you¡±


    The other lackeys of the man who seemed to be a chief in the gang started throwing curses and threatening Kazuki, however rather than being affected by this Kazuki was happy at the information he just received and suddenly lunged forward towards the leader and gripped his neck.


    ¡°Ehh you¡¯re the right-hand man of the Dragon Palace¡¯s boss that¡¯s some good information well then good night¡±


    The chief was suddenly startled at how fast the youth had rushed up and gripped his neck without him even noticing. He was a 48-year-old veteran soldier who had a lot of combat experience and training however he had never seen someone move so fast and catch him off guard in his life.


    *CRACK* *CRACK*


    The chief¡¯s legs were suddenly shattered by Kazuki as he let out a painful groan and was dropped onto the ground. The other gang members and the people being harassed were shocked at how this youth had shot out so quickly and beaten this big man who was the strongest out of the group. The gang members were shaking at how easily their leader had been defeated by this kid, they knew that the chief was just below the leader in terms of strength which was why he was his right-hand man. Seeing the second strongest member of the gang being thrown away like a doll made them quiver in fear.


    Before they could plead with the youth to let them go the youth suddenly shot out again with 2 swords in his hand and rushed towards each gang members and would precisely thrust into their neck and then blood would gush out from their neck, in the space of 3 seconds 2 of the 5 gang members had fallen to the floor while holding their pierced necks. The other 3 gang members realised it was futile to resist and began trying to escape into different directions but this was futile as Kazuki caught up and pierced each one of them before they fell to the floor dead.


    The scene was quite brutal as there was a total of 5 dead gang members on the floor with the remaining chief looking over this scene while trying to ignore the pain in his legs, the youth suddenly looked over towards him with an eerily calm face which made him feel genuine fear for the first time in a long time. The youth approached him while wiping the blood on the swords onto the clothing of a dead gang member.


    ¡°So, then you¡¯re the chief huh, tell me all of the locations the Dragon Palace occupies in this district¡±


    ¡°W-will y-y-ou let me go i-if I t-tell you¡±


    ¡°Of course, not but I can make your death a whole lot less painful¡±


    The man tried to plead for his life however Kazuki didn¡¯t budge at the man¡¯s pleas for his life as he wasn¡¯t going to spare the man as he wanted to completely get rid of this gang and this man was one of the roots he needed to get rid of.


    ¡°F-fine I¡¯ll tell you although I won¡¯t get to live I at least want a painless death¡±


    ¡°Good response so gives me the information you know¡±


    The man began to tell Kazuki all the different locations that the Dragon Palace occupies, this included the safehouses, VIP¡¯s and the location of the leader of the gang. The location given to him was different than the one he got from the one he received from the previous lackey which meant that the lower ranking members were given wrong information.


    ¡°Well thanks for the information now I will do my part of the deal¡±


    The youth replied towards the man then swung his sword and beheaded the man and then walked to towards Shiroyuki however before that a voice called out to him which he was unfamiliar with.

    This was the middle school girl who seemed to recognize Kazuki she called out to the youth who seemed to be leaving the people who were being harassed. This group of people were still in daze at the youth who had so easily gotten rid of these gang members.


    ¡°Ah you¡¯re that girl from the middle school department huh, you¡¯re probably the main reason I helped this bunch out so what¡¯s your name¡±

    The youth then replied with a smile towards the girl and then set off in the opposite direction as he slowly left the sight of the group who were still in a daze. The girl on the other hand was in quite a panic at what the youth had just said to her


    ¡®D-did he just call me by my first n-name as soon as we met and he a-also smiled at me¡¯


    The girl was feeling quite embarrassed but at the same time happy at how the youth had called her so casually by her name and smiled at her. She had heard that Kazuki wasn¡¯t really interested in any relationships but why would he smile at her and act so familiar.


    ¡®Well i-it wouldn¡¯t hurt to try and get c-closer to him h-he did save me i-it¡¯s not like a l-l-love at first sight clich¨¦ right¡¯


    As the girl was trying to reassure herself about her feelings elsewhere in the city 2 people were travelling around causing mayhem across the district.

 Chapter 9 - Suppression

    Chapter 9 ¨C Suppression


    The sun had already set as both Kazuki and Shiroyuki made their way through the streets towards the main base of the Dragon Palace gang.


    The pair had been eliminating the hideouts of the gangs before deciding to target the location where the boss of the gang was located. They had gone through several of the gang¡¯s facilities including warehouses, safehouses and businesses owned by the gang.


    The information they had received from the lackeys and the chief of the gang had been useful for them as it helped them crush the assets of the gang.


    Kazuki had contacted an acquaintance he had within the police department to notify them of his clean-up and had asked them to stall any intervention of the police until he had finished. The acquaintance of Kazuki was the vice-captain of the Asok City Police Department, Erika West.


    They had been acquainted for a long time and had a mutual relationship. Kazuki had the power to eliminate high-levelled targets that the police were unable to, while Erika could help cover the tracks of Kazuki.


    The actions of Erika seem morally wrong as a representative of the law, however she believed that the law had its flaws and breaking and bending the rules here and there to get rid of someone who deserved to be erased was not a bad choice.


    The police had been attempting to suppress the gangs within the city when they had popped up a few years ago and caused problems to the citizens. They could arrest and prosecute members of these gangs but were unable to hit the source and eliminate the roots of the problem.


    In the city there were officials and most likely members of the law who were corrupt and supported these gangs behind closed doors, but without the evidence how could she prosecute someone? The corruption within Asok City was buried deep and it wouldn¡¯t be a surprise if high-levelled officials were involved within it.


    Erika didn¡¯t agree with Kazuki¡¯s idea of eliminating the entire gang when he had contacted her, however getting rid of this problem would benefit the people of the city and take a huge weight off her chest.


    Although she wasn¡¯t didn¡¯t have the highest authority within the police department she still held command over the lower ranked officers when the captain wasn¡¯t around. This allowed her to stall the officers from getting in the way of Kazuki when he was eliminating the gang.

    The pair had eliminated over 30 of the gang¡¯s properties and had seen some of the business the gang took part in. They had infiltrated several warehouses containing caged people, mainly women, who had been kidnapped by the gang. The kidnapping of people was knowing by most people in the city but seeing it was unpleasant.


    They had gained information from the lackey who oversaw the operation, he told them that the people were sold off as slaves in underground auctions, Kazuki already knew about these types of events that occurred in the underground and found them unpleasant, but he didn¡¯t have hero syndrome so he ignored this type of thing.


    They decided to liberate the captured victims and annihilate the members of the gang overseeing the operation, although he had no plans on becoming a hero he wasn¡¯t cruel and if he came across a situation like this it wouldn¡¯t hurt him to help them out.


    When the victims had left he decided to use magic on the bodies of the deceased gang members. This spell was an advanced Dark Magic spell which would release a dark miasma to target the bodies, this was a spell developed for situations when Kazuki needed to clean up, mainly bodies.


    The miasma was highly poisonous and dangerous, as soon as it touched the bodies the clothes and flesh of the deceased vanished. Even if the police investigated these hideouts they would find no evidence of bodies with this type of magic as it eliminated anything it touched including blood.


    He had activated this spell in his on the bodies of the previous gang members, in the street and the alleyway. The magic was activated once the people had left the scene so that he could hide the existence of his supernatural abilities.


    In the fight in the alleyway and street he had exposed his physical capabilities to people familiar with him, this didn¡¯t bother Kazuki as he could pass it off as martial arts his own strength despite how peculiar they appeared to be.


    The people around him saw him as aloof and lazy, even if they had seen him having high physical capabilities this wouldn¡¯t affect his life much, only changing the way people viewed him, and Kazuki never minded how people viewed him.


    ¡°As always that ability of yours really is amazing, even a forensics team couldn¡¯t find any traces¡±


    As his ability cleared away Shiroyuki let out praise towards the dark magic, she was familiar with Alex¡¯s abilities as they had spent time together in the past, they were both familiar with the abilities they had, they had fought many times in the time they spent together, Shiroyuki knew about the abilities Kazuki possessed.


    ¡°Sure, but your abilities are also quite amazing¡±


    ¡°Hmm I guess so¡±


    The youth responded with a casual tone and directed a compliment towards her.


    The pair left the warehouse and continued onto the final location to where they would meet this big boss, by now the pair had grown tired and Kazuki wanted to finish this and go home, although it was still quite early in the evening he is getting sick of going from building to building eliminating the goons of the gang.


    They had wrecked a total of 31 safehouses, 17 warehouses and 27 businesses under control of the Dragon Palace, and this had been done in less than half a day. Although they were quick it was extremely tiring rushing around the district and elimination one location after another, but they had gone through all the locations revealed to them by the lackeys.


    They now headed towards the docks which was at the south of the district, this was the final location they needed to reach and the place the boss of the Dragon Palace was located.

 Chapter 10 - Docks

    Chapter 10 ¨C Docks


    The pair had arrived at the docks, which was the location of the gang leader. The docks contained several boats and was surrounded by a metal fence reaching up to 2 meters in height. The entrance to the docks was guarded by 5 guards carrying a pistol in their hands, with flashlights in the other, as they surveyed the area.


    They appeared alert which wasn¡¯t a surprise as the entire gang¡¯s assets had been destroyed in less than half a day. The leader appeared to be aware that the gang was being targeted and ordered the security to stay alert.


    The pair prepared to rush out with Kazuki readying the katana on waist which he picked up from one of the lackeys, although he didn¡¯t mind using his fists to fight, he preferred using the sword in combat as its efficiency was higher and he had more experience with swordsmanship than martial arts.


    Kazuki dashed out with inhumane speed and unsheathed his sword in a flash aiming it as the back of the neck of one of the guards. The guards became aware as they saw the youth flash into their vision and were unable to react however something unexpected occurred with Kazuki slashed at the man¡¯s neck.


    *CLANG* *CLANG*


    The sword had been pushed away from the neck rather than piercing the skin. Kazuki backed off as he retook his stance and looked towards the guard. The man had a mocking smile as he looked towards Kazuki with arrogant expression.


    ¡°So, you have some sort of ability correct?¡±


    ¡°Yeah, I have as you can see, it allows me to protect my skin from attacks, even swords are unable to get through this ability. All thanks to the bosses blessing. Why not put down your sword and surrender?¡±


    ¡°So, it¡¯s a defensive ability huh, wait what do you mean by ¡®the bosses blessing¡¯ did he give you this ability?¡±


    ¡°Correct the boss gave us this ability due to our hard-work and loyalty, with this skill we are invulnerable to attacks it¡¯s pointless to struggle¡±


    ¡°If he can give you guys abilities, I¡¯m sure he has some of his own huh¡±


    ¡°You don¡¯t seem to surprise about this kid¡±


    The pair conversed and Kazuki realised that the men in front of him possessed defensive abilities allowing them to cover parts of their skin. The provider of this was their ¡®boss¡¯, this meant that this boss was an ability user.


    Kazuki wasn¡¯t flustered at the fact that he was an ability user as he had met many people with abilities in the past as a lot of people possessed them, it just surprised him that someone would create and control a gang when having abilities.


    The ability then men had in front of him was to use protect a part of their skin with some sort of defensive material, almost like a shell, this only covered a part of the body meaning the uncovered parts were still vulnerable.This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.


    Kazuki was curious at how this ¡®boss¡¯ had given these people abilities. There were several ways to share an ability to someone, but 5 people would certainly cause strain to the host.


    ¡°How did this boss give you these abilities?¡±


    ¡°You seem knowledgeable about this stuff huh, well telling you won¡¯t hurt. The boss gave us a ¡®potion¡¯ to drink and when we drank it we gained this power¡±


    ¡°When did you drink it?¡±


    ¡°Around a week ago why?¡±


    ¡°Just curious¡±


    The information given by the man had given Kazuki the answer to how they had received their abilities. ¡®Blood Transfer¡¯ this was a technique used to pass on abilities from one person to another, it wasn¡¯t used commonly due to the risks the consumer had to take to gain the power.


    The only way for the consumer to survive was to have the same blood type as the host, and everyone who didn¡¯t would die. The power given was a fraction of what the host wielded, and the powers were only temporary until the effects of the blood disappeared from the body.


    These powers would only last for a week before the user would lose them, the technique can be repeated continuously but it can cause side effects to both the host and users. These guys would still be able to use the abilities for 2 more days before losing the abilities, and require the technique to be repeated.


    Alex decided to use sheathe his sword for this fight and have a match between abilities. The men believed the youth had given up as they began to approach him, but they stopped once sensing danger.


    They looked towards the youth who had flames covering his arm in shock, they had seen the abilities their boss possessed, but had never faced another ability user before.


    The flames covering his arm began to gather on his hand, turning darker than previously as they danced violently across his palm.


    Kazuki had activated his fire magic and gathered it into his palm, he had then combined it with darkness, which would make the attack even deadlier.


    This spell was the combination of high level fire magic and dark magic that Kazuki had named [Shadow Flames].


    He wasn¡¯t satisfied with the child-like naming, however to use the spell he had to use the spell words to activate the spell or it wouldn¡¯t work.


    The men began to back off once they saw the flames however before they could the magic shot out from the youth¡¯s palm. The magic came out of the palm like a flamethrower as Kazuki kept on approaching the men.


    This spell had been altered by Kazuki so that if he kept putting mana into the spell, it would stay active rather than disperse after the chant. The flames were started to cover the men as they began to activate their ability.


    The downside to their ability was that they could only cover small parts of their body and not all of it. Kazuki had discerned this when he first attacked the man, because of how he only covered his neck and not the entire body.


    The flames started to consume the men as they struggled in pain, unable to let out any sounds as the poison within the flames had infected their body making it impossible to speak. The flames continued until the men had perished.


    Once confirming the men had perished, the flames consumed the bodies leaving no traces of them at all. Kazuki deactivated the magic and let out a sigh as he called out to Shiroyuki and continued forward to the warehouse, however before they could a figure appeared in front of them.


    ¡°Are you the bastards that have been destroying my gang¡±


    A man who looked about 40 years old appeared in front of them, his angered voice made them realise his was the leader. He was an overweight man who had dark brown hair, a smaller build and a face that looked like an orc from the anger and fury it displayed.


    ¡°I saw you have abilities like me why don¡¯t we test them out brat¡±


    The man let out a vicious smile directing bloodlust towards Kazuki, who in response shrugged it off as he got into position, Shiroyuki followed his response and gripped her hand on the pair of knifes at her waist. The 2 groups looked at each other before shooting out, as the battle had begun.

 Chapter 11 - Revelations

    Chapter 11 ¨C Revelations


    The man wasted no time and immediately shot out towards Kazuki, the youth remained calm and started to observe the man to gain some information on his abilities. Kazuki saw that the man¡¯s leg was hardened in a similar material to what the men had, except it was covered in a crimson material instead of silver.


    Kazuki was familiar with this ability and had heard of it as a manipulation skill that can be used for defensive and attacking capabilities. The material was hard enough to defend against swords and other weapons, and it could be used to attack with the user¡¯s limbs, he had heard of someone possessing this ability so he decided to see if his guess was correct.


    ¡°You, by any chance are you ¡®Crimson Shield¡¯ the manipulation ability user from [Sanctum]?¡± Kazuki was curious towards the mans identity so he decided to ask.


    ¡°Oh, you have heard of me kid, I was a part of [Sanctum], however I didn¡¯t like the rules they imposed on me so I left and started doing what I wanted¡± The Crimson Shield was surprised that this youth knew of his alias and about [Sanctum].


    ¡°Ah I don¡¯t know exactly who you are I just have a few acquaintances in [Sanctum] and I know about a few of the members, it¡¯s just your ability is like one I had heard of before¡± Kazuki responded casually and got into position.


    [Sanctum] was the name of one of the organizations that gather those with special abilities. They would hand out invitations to any ability user they could find in the world, this naturally included Kazuki who had encountered a lot of these groups in the past, but had no interest in joining in their conflicts.


    Most countries in the world had their own groups of ability users as their disposal, in some countries this may not be controlled by the government, there were many examples of this happening such as: Russia¡¯s [Ice Knights], China¡¯s [Flood Dragons], and Japan¡¯s [Sanctum]. There were still some countries that had ability users under their wing, including Britain¡¯s [Knights of Camelot].


    Kazuki had connections with a lot of groups around the world from the travels he had been taking in the past few years, he thought that by becoming acquainted with the groups it would be beneficial so they wouldn¡¯t invite him constantly.


    He had planned to go pay these groups a visit in the future, however he wanted to enjoy a peaceful life for a while, but seeing how so many ability users had gone rouge and even started providing normal people with abilities this would cause problems in the future, so he planned on contacting these groups and getting information.


    ¡°Well, today a lot has been confirmed, Shiroyuki lets finish this up quickly we are going to have to contact some old friends soon¡± Kazuki shined a mischievous grin towards Shiroyuki who responded in a fearless smile understanding what he meant.


    ¡°Sure, it has gotten late today and I¡¯m tired so let¡¯s finish this quickly¡± Shiroyuki lunged out towards the man with her knifes and then slashed onto a piece of his leg that was unprotected causing him to slightly stumble before regaining composure.Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent.     Kazuki nodded towards Shiroyuki and then aimed his hand towards the man, she understood what he was planning so she moved away from the man to let Kazuki perform his attack.


    ¡°Lava Serpent¡± Kazuki let out a huge torrent of fire from his palm that started to take the form of a huge red serpent, the beast looked towards Kazuki waiting for his instructions and the youth then pointed towards the man.


    This wasn¡¯t a spell or any magic being used, but instead a tamed beast that obeyed Kazuki called a Lava Serpent.


    The beast would listen to all Kazuki¡¯s orders without faltering as it saw Kazuki as its master. To obtain this beast Kazuki had to summon it from another dimension, and this beast came from [Hell].


    The flames it possessed would spit from the flesh and start melting the concrete floor, showing the power of the flames, it wielded.


    Kazuki had started to get tired of fighting with his magic and called a tamed beast too finish the job, he knew that it may have been overkilling to summon a beast of this calibre, but he couldn¡¯t be bothered withering down the opponent¡¯s armour and then attacking, he could just use the Flame Serpent to extinguish him.


    The man sensed the danger of this beast, however it was too late for him to escape in this situation so he started to charge towards Shiroyuki believing that taking one person down before death would be better than none.


    Before he could reach her, Kazuki pointed his finger towards the man and said one word ¡°Kill¡±, the beast then shot out and blocked the path between the man and Shiroyuki before trapping the man inside of a circle of flames and slowly started consuming him


    The screams of the man could be heard from within the flames as he was struggling against the wall of flames, repeatedly smashing his scolded fists against it hoping to escape, however the fists left no dent and the man¡¯s screams died down until they could be heard no more.


    Once the screams had stopped Kazuki ordered his beast to return and the flames started to make their way back into his palm, and into the form of a small tattoo on his chest, in the form of a snake in a spiral.


    The tattoo was hidden will and no one would be able to see it unless he had his shirt off and revealed his chest, and Kazuki didn¡¯t have any hobbies of that kind. The area the serpent had been was covered in black and there was a small pile of black ashes, that was probably belonged to the infamous Crimson Shield.


    ¡°It¡¯s finally over, but it was quite fun fighting together, again right? It reminds me of old times¡± Shiroyuki ran up and nudged Kazuki¡¯s shoulder, and he responded with a smile.


    ¡°I guess so, but we are going to have to contact our old friends to see why someone would go rouge just to start up some street gang, school will be on a 4-week break after next week so looks like we will have to make a travel, you in?¡± Kazuki responded to Shiroyuki with a serious tone.


    ¡°Of course, you are my fianc¨¦ after all, where you go I go.¡± Shiroyuki let out a coquettish grin and started to hug Kazuki from behind and place her shoulder on his head.


    ¡°I don¡¯t remember ever becoming your fianc¨¦, and the promise to your father was for him to use not you¡± Kazuki just stated the facts and didn¡¯t try to struggle from her embrace.


    ¡°Sure, we can talk more about it later, it is quite late now so do you want to come over to my place, I have a spare room if you want to use it, or if you are feeling up to it we ca- ¡°Shiroyuki began to start teasing Kazuki before he cut her off.


    ¡°I will take the spare room thank you very much¡± Kazuki smiled and then pulled her arms away and the pair started to walk away from the docks.


    Kazuki didn¡¯t forget to contact his little friend in the police department who was planning on beating him when they next meet. After the destruction spree of the pair, his little friend was left to do piles on piles of paperwork.


    The pair then made their way to Shiroyuki¡¯s apartment and went to sleep as if it were a normal school night, no one would suspect a pair of teens could destroy an entire gang within a night.
