《The Legendary Couple》


 The Encounter

    Many years have passed after the even of the creaton of the new kingdom. The peace lasted for five centuries but as we go along with the story the plan that was constructed behind the shadows is near its completion. The peace wil not last for long as they make their plan a reality.


    The legend says that one day when the kingdom is at its point of extinction there will be one couple, one human and one demi human who will meet strong allies that will fight with them so that they can forge a new peace and unite once a again two different races, two unique cultures as one.


    People did try to destroy this peace many times but they as an individuals couldn''t overtake the whole kingdom so naturally they united as a one body of evil both human and demi humans. Their goal was to destroy this kingdom as they weren''t happy about their status. Keeping in mind that demi humans didn''t use magic to attack humans they were weak against attacks from those people. They were kept as pets or slaves because they had the power to do so. Those poor people couldn''t do anything but pray that they will be saved.


    Rulers over the kingdom of "Ami" did they best they could to stop this behavior but they couldn''t do it because their enemy was party of evil strong men. As the rulers were the children of the first human and demi human marriage between Leo and Lina, they couldn''t punish those people effectively because they were too kind.


    That fatal day has come as the criminal group of 150 men surround the capital Lina,named after the first queen.They were the strongest of the strongest. They won''t just fight for the money, their only goal is to destroy something thats beautiful and divine. They didn''t have any positive emotions for other people. The only thing on their minds was to hurt and bring pain and sorrow to others.


    That day the capital was taken.Flames were all over the place, buildings were going down humans and demi humans with panic and fear were on the edge of insanity. The leader of the evil group called "destroyers" Moldimor and his lieutenant Alimdpan dethroned the king. They as an act to scare people of the kingdom to surrender and dont fight back, they executed the king. The queen died after she drank the wine that was given to her by those evil people. The prince was kept as a prisoner while the princess was sent to die on a boat.


    Three days have passed. In rural area of the kingdom the news are yet to come. Its that part of the year when all the things are filled with life and everything just looks alive.


    A young adventurer around the age of seventeen is doing his best to surive as he hunts for wild monsters for the reward. Those monsters had magic but only few ones that could kill an army of man could use that magic. As for his appearence he had black hair, green eyes, face of young adventurer and a magical sword he uses to hunt those monsters. He was travelling between towns and wild forests.


    The owners of shops that reward the hunting of young adventurers like Ruu were kind to give them enough coins to survie till the next hunt.He is preparing to leave the town in this southeast area of the kingdom. As he was travelliing,alongside of the road there was a river.


    While he gazed into the beauty of that river he noticed a boat coming from ahead. Inside of that old wooden boat without a driver.was a sleeping girl. He immediately began to ran towards the boat with an inten to help that person. He put his sword on the the ground and jumped in.


    He was able to hold on to the wooden boat. When he got a good hold on to the boat he began to pull the boat near the bank of the river. The force of the river was weaker as the was nearer to the side of that river. When he finally pulled the boat to safety, what he saw was a girl all beaten up. Her clothes were ripped off, you could see her bare skin.


    The boat stopped.The girl awoke while he was lifting her body from the boat. She started to whisper words into his left earStolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences.


    "Who are you? Please, don''t hurt me anymore". Surprised by her words the replied to her with kind words filled with warmth and empathy


    "Don''t worry, I am here to help you not to hurt you".She was oppening her hazy violet eyes she felt at ease after she heard those words.


    As she was looking behing his back, she recalled the memory of her being tortured and sent to die by those evil men.


    "What happend to you? Your clothes are all ripped off. Are you allright?" Those were the questions he asked her as they landed on the green grass.


    For a couple of moments they gazed at each others eyes like the time just stopped and they had all the time in the world at their fingertips.


    The girl started to look at herself. She immidiately started to cry out loud as she remembered the sad memories. With a weak and crying voice she he told him the truth about herself. All the details of her being a princess of the kingdom and news about the kingdoms destruction were told to this young man.


    At first he felt bad and sad that the evil people destroyed everything that humans and demi humans created together. But soon after he was wiping her tears.


    "Do you want to stay in this weak state or do you want to survive and fight for creation of new peace and happiness?".


    The boy had in mind a plan to create the new kingdom from the ashes of this one. She was shocked by his reaction. For a moment she forgot to breath.


    "But how can someone like me a weakling fight with those monsters?". That question was filled with fear of her incompetence.


    "Afer all I was unable to do anything.


    I have no motivation for living this miserable life".


    Our young adventurer was even more angrier at those people who made the princess look this bad. He started to move closer to her


    .With both hands he shoke her whole body as an act to wake her up from that horrifying nightmare.


    "Be my parnter and lent me your strength". The youngster was convinced that they could win against those people.


    "The power of love and friendship is way more powerful than mere evilness".Those words awoke new feelings in Lin''s mind. When she looked at his eyes what she saw was soul filled with passion, honesty and fightingness for people which he cares about.


    "I shall become your personal knight and we shall succeed with our plan".


    "I won''t say that it would be easy but if we have that feeling inside of us that is like an urge to fight against evil then we should be able to win against anyone really".


    The former princess had no choice but to accept the offer from this young adventurer.


    "I will accept your offer but don''t expect me to do much in the beginning". She spoke those words but behind them was a secret she couldn''t tell. If she did he might not accept her as a person.


    After both of them agreed to fight for the kingdom.There was silence.


    The only thing you could hear was the river itself and the sound of the mild breeze that felt refreshing as it passed through the landscape.They both felt embarrassed.


    Those two never experienced the feeling of being close to opposite gender. This was their first time doing so.


    "If you can please look the other way. I feel uncomfortable, my cloths are all ripped off you could see my naked skin", As she spoke those cute and innocent words, a blush appeared on her beautiful face.


    "If thats the thing you wish my princess i shall execute your command" He spoke those lines as a tool to mock her so she can forget about the terrible things she experienced before this encounter


    "Lets go and find a place to stay. I''m super hungry from all those hunting I did earlier this morning. I bet that you feel the same way".


    And with those lines...


    The journey started as they walked towards the nearest town...

 Friend or Foe 1

    Ruu and Lin were approaching the town called Wildelia - a small town where young adventurers could sell the monsters they caught for silver gold or even platinum coins if they were good at hunting powerful magic beasts.


    The weather started to change. The clouds began to form above the ground. You could immediately tell it will rain as the dark clouds were closer and closer. The rain was getting more and more intense.


    "Are you alright my princess? It looks like we ran out of luck today. The weather here is really getting bad".


    "We should hurry and find a shealter before we get caught in even more scarier situation than this. Strong monsters might attack us along the way to the town".


    "Hur..ry ...upp then. I''m getting scared"


    The former princess couldn''t resist to show her fear to our adventurer. Lin was kept inside of the kingdom capital for her whole life. She never seen those monsters so its natural for her to feel those emotions.


    "For the name of the greatest adventurer ever lived "Ruu" I shall vow that I will never let anything bad happen to my newly-optained princess" He was kind of serious for a moment but he lost it at the end. They were both laughing. They completely forgot about the stormy weather

    "Look Ruu there is an inn there!!!" They were near the town''s entrence.so many buildings were sighted as they walk closer and closer.


    "You have a good eye Lin. That might be the place we were looknig for", They both were soaking wet. Ruu thought that the princess might get a fever because of the cold rain. So he took her hand and began to ran to the sighted place.


    "Why are we running Ruu?" We are already wet, so whats the point?"


    "There is a good reason my princess. We need to hurry up"


    Lin was clueless. She couldn''t understand him at all. They were in front of the inn. "Collin''s Inn", that was written on the the sign in front of them.


    "Is someone there please. We''re looking for a place to stay" As he was knocking the fron door one young green haired girl with ponytail oppened the door


    "Hello there. My name is Collin. Me and my father run this inn, if you''d like to have a stay in our inn this is the way inside".

    The place wasn''t that big. A typical small inn managed by family members. But it was enough for passing adventurers like Ruu and Lin"


    "Hmm do we have new guest my beautiful Colly?"


    "Yes father these are our new guests" She spoke those words with lots of respect towards her parent.


    "Ohh how lovely.Please come here so we mans do our job as my daughter takes care of your partner." He saw that Lin was in a bad shape so he suggested help.


    "Sounds good to me Boss"


    The manager took Ruu to the table next to them and started to ask him few questions. Meanwhile Collin took away Lin to the bath.


    "So I must ask you what kind of a room you want. I''m guessing that you will need a room for two right?"


    "Thats correct manager. I need room big enough for me and my princess." The manager was intrigued by those words. He had confusing look on his face as he couldn''t understand the meaning of him calling his parnter a princess.


    "Okey, I need you to write your names on this paper. The price for one room for two is 20 coins"


    "Isn''t that a little bit too much Sir" We just need a room big enough for two of us really"


    "Let me think about it for a second." He went back to calculate the new price for the service for our adventurers.


    "What about 18 with two meals every day for one week? Does that sound good for you?"


    "Hmm. Can you do it for 16 silver coins. We won''t really stay for one week here".


    "You are one heck of a merchant boy. Fine you got me, let it be sixteen then" He didn''t want really want to lower the price but Ruu forced him to do so. Ruu has been to all sorts of places so he knows a lot about selling and buying.

    Meanwhile Lin was taking a bath. She immediately felt better as she was relaxing in the warm water.


    "This feels so good! I never imagined that I''d take bath outside the palace It feels completely different"


    Collin was coming in with new cloths. "Here are new cloths for you to wear miss Lin".


    "I took the old ones to fix them so please use these, You don''t need to return them, think of them as a present from our inn.


    "Thank you. I really don''t have words to describe my gratitude miss Collin". Lin had really no words to show her thanks to her but Collin understood her even without the spoken words


    "Anyway we are almost done with prepairing your meal so when you finish your bath please call your parnter to join you",


    "Okey. I''m almost done I will inform my knight about the meal"


    "Cool. We will wait for you downstairs". Collin was intrigued by her words.


    "Why does she call him personal knight. Maybe she is just trying to hide it that he is her lover. I need to know what kind of relationship is it. So interesting!!".


    A couple of minutes have passed. She got upstairs to their room.


    "Ruu, I''m coming in." When she entered the room she saw him dressing up. The princess was so embarrassed after she saw his bare chest that she instantly looked away.


    "Don''t let it bother you, my princess It''s natural for girl like you to give that kind of a innocent reaction.".


    "Hmph, I can prove you wrong adventurer". She was a little bit frustrated because of him.


    "See, I can almost see you from here".


    The youngster started to laugh.


    "Ohh my. Thats so brave my princess. I totally believe that you aren''t as innocent as i thought". He was trying to mock her in funny way. After all, thats the thing he does. Soon after both of them were laughing inside of that small room.


    "I almost forgot to tell you. They are waiting us downstairs, the meal is ready",


    "Finally! I''m dying here. Lets go and eat, my princess" As she noded her head he took her hand and went downstairs.
