I had been sitting or standing, I can''t really tell, in this black vod for what felt like hours ,but in reality it was probably just a few second, before I finally caught glips of a light so I made the decision to go towards the light. It only took a few moment before the light expanded all around me and I was jolted up from my position. I look around the white space for a moment before i hear a soft chuckling sound from behind me. "OHHH!! this skill is actually really usefull, I mean I know I asked for it but i didt think it would be this good. "Stop thats far enough." the tall black haired man said, he stopped me about 7 feet away from them and steps up to me "ha. ha. thanks... ha. for stopping." I pull out my canteen and take a sip of water, while doing this everone starts to observe me to see if im a threat or not but seeing that I only have a small dagger and and brown backpack they begin to relax a little but not enough to put their weapons down. "I was just wondering if yall knew the direction of the nearest town. you see i was in the forest over there when I got attacked by some bandits they held me captive for days before I was able to escape unfortunitly I was only ble to get away with only this bag, water canteen, dagger and some food." I said hoping they dont catch on to my lie. "hmmm i see well the nearer town in about 2 hours walk that way." he points behind him towards the way they were heading. "yall wouldnt happen to mind if i tag along with yall would you I''ll try not to cause too much trouble and ill help with anything yall need help with." "hmm give me a minute I will ask the boss I cant the dicision to whether you join or not but i wouldnt get your hopes up." He turns around and walks to the front of the carriage to talk to someone while he is away the others in the group. stay quiet and just observe me before who i assume is the leader comes back. So I jump onto the carriage and introduce myself to the others before we head off towards the town. ---------------------------------------- ------------------- ----- The trip to the Town took a little less than an hour before we arrived. I had to get off before them and wait in line with some other peope since i wasnt originally part of their group, but that was fine since I wasnt really expecting a free ride all the way through. The line didnt last for too long maybe 30 minutes or so before i got to the front and was stopped by the guard. "Identification please" the guard said. "I''m sorry mister guard but i was attacked by bandits in the forest and they took everything I had i was barely able to get away with this dagger and backpack as it was." "hmm let me go get the captain and he will decide what to do with you." and the guard turned around and jogged to a nearby building, he exited and 10 minutes later with a tall buky man wearing full plated armor. "Here he is sir the supposed bandit escapee.'''' the guard said to the man. "hmm follow me." the man said and started to turn around and head back to the building and I silently folowed behind him hoping that all will go well for me. As we enter the building we head to the back and enter an office like room when the man walked around a desk a sat down. "sit right there and then place your hand on this crystal it will shine red if you have done any crimes and blue if you havnt. I sat down in front of the man a put my hand on the transparent crystal when it suddenly shines blue confirming that I have done no crimes. "good now I heard your story already so im giving you this slip of paper, ths is a temperary I.D. and will only last for three days, if you want a real one then you will need to either becone a citizen or joina guild. Oh and before I forget. Welcome to the Adventure town Azmarin." Chapter 2 - Adventure Guild After i left the building I decide it to explore the town a little bit before I head to the Adventure Guild. Immediatly heading away from the guard office building I find myself in what look like an open marketplace with multiple stalls around, some selling food others jewlery, I even found one selling some kind of weird stone. Walking up to the stall selling the weird stones I am greeted my a friendly looking old man with long white hair and ah beard if I had to say what he looked like imagine Gandalf from LOTOR. "Welcome young one to may humble Magic Stone stall, I sell a variety of differnent stones from the normal mana stones here." He waves his hand in front of a glowing blue stone. "all the way to the rarest of stone the healing stone." He then points to a white stone inside a glass container. "Ah um sorry sir im not here to by anything today. I was just wondering if you could answer a few of my questions please?" (Roy) "Hmm no matter, ask away young one it has been a while since someone has wanted to just talk with me and call me Walker." (Walker) "Thanks Walker I''m Roy. Could you point me towards the adventure guild please?" (Roy) "Will do the adventure Guild is just passed the market here its the tall building with the image of of a sword and shield hanging on a sign." (Walker) "Thank you sir ah I mean Walker." (Roy) And with that I move on from the market place as I am walking down the street I se a big bulding, honestly I have no idea how i didnt notice this bulding in the first place. as I start to head towards the building I begin to pass more people caring weapons and wearing armor. As I approach the building I see that it has 2 big double doors and a sigh in front with a sword crossing over a shield. Walking up to one of the doors I push on the door opening it, walking in what I see is to my left a bar looking area with a couple of Adventurers drinking and to my right 3 bulletin boards with paper on them and Adventurers looking at them. and in front is a large counter with 5 different small cubical sections and some receptionists standing at the desks. 4 of the 5 receptionists are busy with people so I head to the only empty one which happens to have a beautiful girl with long black hair and hazel eyes. "Welcome to the Adventures guld, are you here to make a request or take one?" (Receptionist) "Ah neither I would like to apply to become an Adventuer please." (Roy) before the the receptionist can reply I hear a loud laugh coming from behind me. "HAHAHA you think someone like you can become an Adenturer? dont kid yourself kid and go play with all the others outside this is a job for men not children." I look behind me to find a burly looking man with a scar across his righ eye extending across his nose. "I wasnt aware there was an age limit I am 16 so I should be old enough to join i believe" I glance at the receptionist and see a small nod from her agreeing with my statement but the burly man doesnt seem to care as he extends his hand and picks me up by my shirt. "I DONT CARE whether your old enough if i say your not joining then that means you. are. not. joining." man this guy is pissing me off just who does he think he is? so I decided to appraise him to find out.

well I see why he is confident in being able to do whatever he wants, but now is the best time to test my ability skill thief. I try to concentrait on the sword mastery skill and I immediatly get a headache and I ceck my status to see if it worked.

I say as I begin stand up again "ha ha no its a pretty normal occurance fo him but he normally stops at yelling, going as far as he did will probably get his guild card revoked and he''ll be banned from any and all adventure guilds." Finally standing Natasha leads me to the guild masters office and with a quick knock we were told to come in. "Good I see you were healed, take a seat and we can proceed with your administration into the guild, if you still wish to join that is." "No I still wish to join I will need to find a way to make an earning and even if its dangerous at least its a life of adventure." "gaining new skills is incredimbly hard to do so we didnt bother to put a function like that on the plaque but if you do gained more and wish for them to be displayed then just come to the guild and speak with one of the receptionists. Normally we would charge you to join the guild but seeing as we caused you some trouble we will just wave that off. Well I am busy so finish the rest up with Natasha back at the recepton desk." Heading back to the reception desk with Natasha she begins to explain the rules and stuff to me and ranks. According to her ranks start at G and go up from ther to F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS. You can only take quest from your rank or 1 rank above and to advance a rank i have to do 10 quests from each rank and 1 quest from above the rank. "And wit that should be everything Roy if you would like to take a request then you can go to the bulletin boards over there." she points to the boards I saw when I first walked in. With a nod I begin to walk over to the boards to see what quests I can take and thats when i see that the boards are split into ranks the board to the left has quests fro G to E the board in the middle from D to B and the board to the right from A to SS. Looking at the left most board I decide to pick the easiest quest for now before doing anything else.

Picking the quest and heading back to Natasha. "I wish to take this quest please." "Supply delivery confirmed. take this sheet and upon completion get is sighned to cofirm that the task has been completed." "yesss." taking the sheet that needs to be signed I ask Natahsa to explain the currency system for me, she gives me a strange look but tell me anyway. 50 copper = 1 silver 100 silver = 1 gold 1000 gold = 1 white gold and leaving the guild I emediatly head to the supply shop to get the needed supplies. entering into the supply shop I am immediatly greeted. "Welcome to Kimberly''s supply shop how may I help you today." "Ah yes im here on a quest to deliver something to the Toms'' Bakery" "Oh good I''m Kimberly I made the quest just earleer today, follow me to the back and Ill show you what needs to be taken." Follow the Kimberly to te back and she shows me to a medium sized crate filled with different good going from fruits, wheat, all the way too some pots and pans. "Here it is just take it to Tom''s down the street, normally I would have asked my assistent but he was sick today so he couldnt do it so thanks ou saved me from closing shop for a while." "No problem ma''am im just doing as requested well then ill get this over there quickly and ill be back in no time at all haha." Picking up the crate I headed out the door again and head to Tom''s backery which really wasnt as far as I thought it would be seeing as I got their after 10 minuetes of walking. "helllo is Tom here??? I have some supplies from Kimberlys for you." I called out into the bakery which waas suprising void of life." "no thats fine for now but do you know where I can find a cheap in around ths time its starting to get dark out?" "if you would like the guild provides rooms for Adventurers for 10 copper a night but we dont provide any food." "hmmm fine lets do that then." I take 10 copper and give it to Natasha she shows me to my room and heads back. I walk inside the room and see its a small clean room with some hay on the ground with a blanket of the hay. "I guess this is all 10 copper with get me huh haha wasnt expextng much but isnt this a little be to well little." I omplain to myself as I lay down on the blanketed hay and fall straight to sleep. and with that my time as an adventurer finally began. Chapter 3 - Subjugation Quests and Medical Herbs I woke up early next morning, eguiped my dagger and backpack and headed down into the guid hall. I decided to head straight to the quest board to see if there were any interesting quests that could be taken.

I quickly rip off the Slime subjugation and Medical Herb quests and try to find a recetionist. When I see Natasha is free I quickly head over to her and put down the quest. "I would like to take the accept these quests please." "Alright, slime subjugation and Medical Herb collection are both active quests so all you have to do is bring in the cores and plants to turn the quests in, oh and if the quests says active dont take it off the board since they can be done at anytime." "Okayyy, thanks." saying thank you one more time I immediatly head out the guild and then after a few minutes heading outside of the town gate I decide to enter the left most forest. Heading inside the forest it only took a few minutes before I found my first slime, deciding to appraise it first before doing anything else.

"Yes it was a success" I said quietly while pulling out my dagger. Deciding I should get this over with quickly I rush towards the slime slashing at it and cutting it clean in half. "Wow that was easier than I though it would be, must be because it was only a level 1 slime." Picking up the slime core and putting it in my backpack I quickly move on not wanting to stay in one place for to long in case there are other monsters around. Moving on past the slime im looking for some of the herbs im supposed to pick up when I see a strange plant at the base of a tree that look like three roots spout out from the ground.

"OHHH I found one already that was quick, I hope they are all this easy to find but how do I get it without damaging them?" Deciding to play it save i dig around the plant slowly digging under it to pull it out of the ground. finaly pully it u after 3 minutes of digging i pull the plant out of the ground with a clump of dirt still around the roots of the plant, ptting the plant inside the backpack I get up and continue on into the forest. "GuGI" Not long after leaving the spot where I picking the summer root I hear a strange sounds in the distance deciding to check out what it was I crouch down and slwly move forward seeing 2 Goblins sitting against a tree one with a club, and the other bare handed both wearing nothing but a loin cloth. while sneacking forward I stop behind a bush and appraise the goblins.

feeling slightly confident that i could win if I''m carefull I decide to fomulate a plan to take them out one at a time. Pcking up a rock that was near me I toss it over agains a nearby trees. *THWACK* "GI??" the goblins spooked both get up and look towards where the sound came from the goblin with the club pointing towards the soud saying something to the other in their weird language. The bare handed one walks over to the sound. Sneaking around the back of the one with the club I slowly approach him as soon as I am about 2 feet away from the goblin it begins to turn around, not waiting a second longer I quickly lung at the Goblin stabing it in the side. "GA, GIGI" it yells out warning the other goblin of my presence. but before the other gobling can rush over I quickly pull the knife out of him quickly slashing across its chest and then stabbing my dagger deep into its thoat silencing it. as I turn around and see the lats Goblin rushing at me angree at me for killing its friend. I quickly pick up the dead goblins club and rush at towards the goblin, swinging the club I impact the goblin sending it stumbling back and falling over, not wanting to lose this chance I rush to the goblin and quickly stab in the head with my dagger killing it. *DING*

"PHEW that was exhausting, that could have gone a lot worse had I not destracted the first one and snuck up on the second." Grabbing my dagger I walk over to the first goblin and cut both of its ears of then walking over to then next and doing the same. Continueing on into the forest I collect another 9 Summer Root, kill 5 more green sime, and 1 more goblin and gaining another level before heading back into town. --------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ ------------ Walking back into town I immediately heading back to the guild and upproach Natasha. "Hello Natasha I have some Herbs, slime cores and goblin ears to turn in." "Oh hello Roy please set the Herbs into this basket here." she pulls out a green basket from behind the counter "and the goblin ears and slime cores in this basket" she pulls out another basket but this one a brown color. "did you happen to collect the cores from the goblins aswell?" "The goblins have cores too? that sucks wish i knew that earlier." Natasha gives me a strange look be fore telling me that every monster has a magic core the only things that dont have a core would me normal animal. I nod and put the Herbs in the green basket and slime cores and goblin ears in the brown basket. "lets see here 1 bundle of herbs, 6 slime cores, and 3 goblin ears. Here you are 2 silver and 40 copper." "Thanks I hink i''m going to turn n for the rest of the night. here is 10 copper for the room" "Good Night Roy." Heading up stairs and into the room I set my backpack on the ground and dagger into the backpack. I lay down on the hay bed and check mt status before fallng asleep.
