 A Meeting with the creator!

    Dante opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was the clear azure sky dotted with milky white clouds. There was a cold breeze blowing, making the leaves of the trees at a distant from him bustle.


    I see, it seems like I am still sleeping.


    He let out a breath to relax himself as he spread his arms and legs to a more relaxing position.


    This is the true heaven.


    A sunny day with cool winds and the sound of the nature, ahh so relaxing.


    This is the best dream I ever had.


    Sigh, the laziness in the surrounding is making me dizzy, what a shame, am I going to sleep in my dreams now?


    Though I know this is a Dream but somehow it feels way too realistic to be a dream, or is it my first time to experience such a dream, or maybe it is because of the fact that we tend to, ah ,no we do forget our dreams when we wake up.

    I don''t why but I started humming, it was something that I just made up right now but I have started to like it.


    " You seem to be enjoying yourself, Dante ~ ."


    Just when i was about to fall asleep in my dream ( this is a one in a kind talent hehe) I heard someone calling me out in a playful voice. The voice seemed to belong a 12 year old girl .


    As a response I slowly stood up while my eyes were still closed.


    My long black hair gently swayed in the air due to the blowing wind , the speed of the winds has definitely increased, I placed my right on my head to stop hair from swaying. I slowly opened my eyes and then for the first time ever I was betrayed by my super intelligent brain.


    The person who was standing there right in front of me was not a cute little loli, rather , there was a big muscular dude in a pink one piece which made his muscles even more bulging. He stood there as he posed like a model on a runway and his golden hair were blowing in the air .     Just after having a single a look at that guy my left eye twitched and I had an unpleasant expression, but, I am a man , a true man, and hence I shall not treat this guy who definitely has a fetish of wearing female clothes with prejudice, but what made me almost throw up was -


    " Hey there handsome, I am feeling really cold. "


    And at the end of the statement he blinked and shivered .

    While I was still in a huge shock after listening to his invitation, that guy burst into laughter while pointing at me with his right hand''s index finger.

    That guy, who just stopped laughing, and now had his right hand on his stomach said something even more scary.


    I slowly regained my calm and said "It seems like I was mistaken, Mr. One piece, you are just not a pervert , you are a masochist too. I wouldn''t have ever thought that my beautiful peaceful dream would turn into a nightmare, as a big bulging dude haunts me in his tight one piece."


    I said with a sigh.


    " Hey, come on, you can''t just go on and label them as perverts and masochist. I was just playing a prank on you. "


    After finishing his statement that guy stood in a much more relaxed position and suddenly a white light started binding him. The while light soon covered his entire body and after which it started fading.


    Well, I somehow wasn''t surprised at all after seeing the light and what I saw after it faded away.


    That guy has now transformed into a decent old man, like professor Dumbledore in Harry Potter series, with long white beard, a dark red robe, and a long hat.


    " Now now now.


    Don''t I look more decent now?


    I am sure you won''t call me a pervert and masochist now. "


    He said proudly as he started stroking his long white beard.


    Sigh .


    " you proved me wrong again, old man.


    I have to agree, that you are not a masochist and pervert who attacks everyone irrelevant of their gender, rather, you are a closet pervert or a hunter who first lures someone into his trap and then... "


    At the end of the statement my expression darkened and saddened, as I started feeling pity for all of them who have been or would be caught by him. Seriously, when will this dream stop, please mom wake me up.


    Seeing my expression being darkened that dude, no, old man started approaching me. He takes one step and I take 2 back. Then, I took a long breathe and shouted " HELP ME! AN OLDMAN IS TRYING TO R#P* ME! "


    "HUHHHHHHH!!!!! "


    After listening to my cry for help ,the old man exclaimed in shock.

 The Pervert

    In the middle of a forest a young beautiful girl stood by the tree and used it as a support , as she kept her right arm on the bark of a tree and panted heavily .


    She had blonde long hair which reached her waist, her face was fair, her cheeks were a little red, and her lips were pink.


    After a little while when her breathing had calmed, tears started coming out of her eyes, she closed her eyes and said in an apologetic tone


    " I am sorry sister Jenny, brother Ryan, and everyone else. I am so weak that I couldn''t even protect myself and I had to run away as you people kept them busy."

    She said it happily, her fatigue and sadness have now completely disappeared as she started running towards the direction from where she heard the whistle.


    She ran at her best speed, while she called out "Ryan, Jenny, Rob I am here ! "


    But on her way she suddenly bummed onto someone.

    I should have been more careful while running away from that old brute. My head hurts after the collision. I should get up and apologize.


    While facing down towards the ground I stretched my arms forward , and suddenly I grabbed something, due to the fact of suddenly grabbing something unknown I quickly withdrew my hands back causing those things to sway a little and then I heard them go.

    I suddenly stood up and saw that I was lying on young blonde girl ''s stomach and my hands have definitely definitely touched her breasts.

    Just like the last time a white light suddenly wrapped around his entire body, and¡­ the f@@k.


    His appearance and clothes changed back to those when I had first met him, but there was something else which made me to almost pass out.

    " I still need to talk to you Dante, therefore, time freeze. "

 The Law Of Energy

    Soon the light coming out of that old man''s hands faded away and the entire world came to a hault.


    To make sure that the old man was capable of this or not, Dante checked various things in the surrounding while moving. He noticed that even his shadow has stopped and no matter where he goes the shadow didn''t follow him. He looked at the girl who was now frozen in time,  her expression remained frozen , but what caught his eye was the sight of her boobs. Before the time was stopped she had clung herself to Dante''s feet and naturally her boob''s were being pressed by his feet and now when the time has stopped and he had moved away from his initial position, her boobs were frozen in that pressed form which he found way too tempting.

    The old man''s voice and expression have now turned serious and nobody would be able to make out if he was that old pervert.


    " Let''s start.  It better be good for making me loose some time of my life ."

    " So,  do you still think you are in a dream? "

    " I am the creator of this world,  but I am not the one who regulates this world, rather I have this duty to a bunch of my other creations, well known as the gods. The gods are like the employees in the company that I own, everyone having a different role and duty to perform, and just like everyone has a boss they had one too. "

    As the old man continued Dante ''s sight started getting blurry and that old man ''s voice became even louder than before.


    Everything in his sight turned black and soon he saw a White shadow of a man sitting on a chair and there were many others who were below him, looking at him and then bowing, there were four other shadows who were standing by that guys sight like his guards.


    The oldman called the one who was sitting on the throne as the emperor of gods and the ones acting as the guards were the four elemental gods,  and below them were many other gods.


    Time flew away and all this time everthing went on as should have been, gods under the supervision of their emperor performed their duties and the world continued to function without any flaw,  but one day the four elemental gods and other gods met with each other in a place far away from their emperor and started arguing about something, at the end of which they signed a soul contract and broke a small part of their soul and put that part of their soul in a crystal, the crystal was all black and had many twinkling white,  blue and red dots on it which looked like a spider web made out of stars from a distance,  covering that black crystal.


    After everyone had signed and put a part of their soul in that crystal,  the entire world started trembling. The lower gods were trembling and sweating in front of such intense energy, the energy was so great that even Dante could feel the pressure even though it was just an illusion made by that oldman. A twisted energy with black and white color started coming out of it and it covered the entire crystal.  The crystal grew in size and started taking shape of a human but the only difference was that it looked like the entire universe has taken shape of a body.  It only had the outline of a human while it was black and one could see many stars and galaxies on that thing. He had no side,  front or back.


    No matter from where Dante tried to looked he couldn''t see any difference. That thing was just something else.

 The Law of Energy - 2

    Dante kept looking at it as he felt somehow attracted to that thing , but what happened next horrified him. For an unknown mysterious reason,  Dante felt that that thing was looking at him, he started sweating and a chill ran down his spine.


    But after awhile that feeling was gone and it seemed like that thing had probably turned his sight towards the direction of the emperor''s throne. For a while it just stood there gazing towards that direction , after which an eerie red light started coming out of that thing''s chest area, as it slowly started breaking that thing bit by bit, as soon as a part of it was broken that part would disappear completely, this process repeated till its entire body was disappeared and all this was done in a matter of a fraction of second and yet , for Dante it felt like 5 minutes.


    After that thing disappeared, everything went blank again like when the curtains are drawn after a scene of a play has ended. Dante just kept on looking at the place where that thing was, he still felt chills whenever he thought of that thing. After seeing such a monster many would have already took a shit in their pants but it was different for Dante, he felt an unusual curiosity towards that thing.


    " That thing which you just saw is the Manifestation of combined will of laws borned by the fusion crystal. You see every god has the power of a law or you can just say it like this way - in your former world you have studied about gravity,  magnetism,  electricity,  and other stuff like these, haven''t you?     " now just think,  what if these things had a will or a conciousness? What if these have a main body from where these things are originated?


    And what if these main bodies with consiousness is what you people call gods ?"


    Dante "¡­¡­"


    " it seems like you have started to pickup my explanation. Every god before being a god was nothing more than a conciousness,  I gave each one of them a seed, a seed of energy to each one of the them.


    A seed is something like an aptitude or it would be better to say - that it is the right to comprehend and use those energies, which was given to them on the basis of their merit level, it''s not that merit which you use in your world, it''s something totally different,  anyway back to the point , ahh........  Where were we again?"


    "you were telling me about the seeds of energy. "


    " yeah..


    I remember now.


    I gave them the seeds according to their merit level,  the strongest had the most difficult to comprehend while the weakest had the easiest to comprehend.


    They accepted those seeds and started their studies.


    A millennia had passed after they started their comprehension of their respective form of energy and the first god was borned, take a guess who it was? "


    "Hmm


    Was it the one who was given the strongest seed? "


    " well, interesting thing was that the guy who got the second most strongest seed was the first guy to became the first god , and you know him as the emperor of gods. "


    " Wait, what happened to that guy who got the strongest seed ? "


    " You can say that he is dead in a way.


    Let''s get moving, the 2nd scene is about to start."


    Soon the black color in front of his eyes started transforming , two white shadows was formed and both of them were familiar to him, on his right was the shadow of the emperor while on his left was the twisted shadow of that thing surrounded by an eerie energy. The surrounding has now completely changed to that of a battlefied as he saw many bodies just lying there on the ground.

 The Law Of Gravity

    The white shadows started glowing and emitted a blinding white light just like at the time when the old man stopped the time. The light soon faded away and revealed the true image of those, to whom the shadow belonged to, just like during that time when those gods used the fusion stone to createthis manifestation.


    The emperor looked like a middle age man and had handsome features with black long hair. He was wearing an all black armour which was surrounded by an unusual dark aura, even though it was a dark aura it still had a little dark shine, even Dante was in awe of how handsome the emperor was, as he looked down at the battlefield from above.


    " I want you to carefully look and study this fight, it would be helpful for you; that''s the reason I am going at such lengths," The old man said.


    Dante nodded in confirmation and carefully observed those two figures.


    They both kept staring at each other for a while as if they were communicating with means other than talking , The emperor suddenly started laughing , mocking that thing and the gods who were responsible for making it, but that thing remained calm.


    Suddenly the area surrounding the emperor started fluctuating. Light, sound, air, ground, even the emotion with which the emperor ridiculed them started twisting in an unknown way; Dante saw this and said with astonishment " Is this the power of the emperor? "


    "no. This is the doing of that thing, he using every single thing against the emperor, even the anger of emperor is being converted into energy against him.


    If it weren''t for me then you wouldn''t even have been able to see, feel or hear this fight."


    The old man said with pride.


    Emperor just stood there, unfazed by the attack he raised his arms and suddenly all that twisted energy which was surrounding the emperor started dividing into columns, each column developed a core. The twisted energy suddenly started being pulled, no it started contracting to a point mass and that point mass was their respective core, it struggled a lot before being forcefully contracted and resulted in an increase in the energy density of the core, which would be soon turned into matter, and hence increase its density.You might be reading a stolen copy.     The surrounding which was once converted into that twisted energy by that manifestation was now turned into an area devoid of anything including matter , also known as the true void.


    The emperor who was in the middle of that area raised his right hand towards that thing and slowly rotated his hand and he bought his fingers closer than their initial position.


    DOHHHHH


    Then, a core, which was similar to the one before, suddenly appeared on the fusion crystal in that thing''s chest, causing the crystal to start vibrating which resulted in an irregularity in the outline of that thing''s body.


    Dante was speechless after witnessing such moves, it was something he could never even dream of,


    " Do every god fight like this, without any physical attack? "


    " No, they too use physical attacks , even the emperor use it , but , it would be useless on that thing because it doesn''t have a physical body and is just a mixture of laws, moreover that thing is incomplete."


    " What! Incomplete?! "


    " Take a look again. "


    Dante bent a little and carefully observed that thing, he saw that the cosmic web which initially covered that thing is now in a disarray, as every web strand has started to breakdown into various glowing dots.


    " Is that what I think it is ?"


    To his question the old man nodded.


    Actually, that thing which was made up of almost every single law, it was like a manifestation of the universe itself and hence, the stars and every other cosmic thing was just drifting apart because of lack of gravity, which is possesed by the emperor.


    " The emperor has transformed the fusion crystal, which was releasing the energy laws, into the core of a point mass, causing a direct struggle of power.


    If it is destroyed then the manifestation will disappear and if the point mass is destroyed then it would cause a grevious injury to him. "


    " But why does it require for him to go at such lengths, by the looks of it he could easily deal with it? "


    " Don''t be deceived by the looks young man.


    It is not easy to fight against so many laws together!"


    " Damn, what''s up with this stupid temperature.


    Half of me is burning while the other half is freezing!!!!! "


    As a counter attack to the emperor''s attack, which he is yet to finish, that manifestation has increased the kinetic energy of half of the molecules and the other half''s was decreased to the near absolute zero, which caused almost everything to freeze up while some of the other half was melted, another part which had high melting point was awfully hot and the last part was already vaporized, this was about the battlefield, the air surrounding the entire battlefeild has already turned into raging flames.


    Then every single thing including flames, frozen peaks, melted elements and the awfully hot things were directed towards the emperor.


    Tch¡­


    The emperor raised his left arm and poured his power of law of gravity into his left fist and then he opened his fist and a dark black ball came out of his hand. The other point mass which were previously formed by him along with this one raises upwards and then they started attracting everything ,except for that thing, towards themselves.


    Everything was forcefully and violently sucked into the emptiness into those cores, the cores'' density again increased this time but the shape and size remained the same.

 The law of gravity 2

    The cores slowly came back to their initial position , while the new one just remained their floating in the void. When the emperor had forcefully contracted that surrounding turned twisted energy , he contracted even the ''concepts'', as a result, it left Dante , a mortal , confused as whenever he looked at the emperor and those point mass cores he could not figure it out which core was at a higher height and which was lower, it was like looking at a 2d picture of the emperor.


    The emperor again rotated his right hand and the fusion stone turned point mass core was forcefully rotated in the same direction of the hand, the emperor just didn''t stopped rotating his hand right there but kept on rotating it. The laws in the stone struggled against this forceful act on them causing the stone to vibrate, but still it was of no avail. Then the emperor  closed his fingers of the right hand a little more , causing a redish black light to come out of the stone.  That red light radiated through the entire body of that manifestation making its body a little red ,  it looked like as if Dante was watching a red black light ,cold in nature, lit the entire universe ,which was on the verge of fading away, then something unexpected happened.


    The red light instead of destroying the body of that thing it started to kind of a heal it.


    " wait wait wait.


    The disarrayed universe which was in that thing''s body has started to get arranged. "


    Dante exclaimed in shock.


    Indeed,  the cosmic web which was first destroyed because of lack of the gravity, its parts which were broken away has now begin to come closer and closer back to their initial position when it was first formed. It looked as if Dante was watching the video of destruction of the cosmos in the rewind mode.


    " Just keep watching it.  "


    Soon the cosmic web,  which surrounded the manifestation,  was back to its position and was completely healed.     The meaning of heal and what we do to heal someone and making that particular someone stronger varies upon that ''someone'', for the emperor the way to destroy that manifestation lays behind healing and making it stronger."


    DHUNG


    Suddenly Dante heard the same sound which he heard when the fusion crystal was changed into the core,  he first looked at the direction of manifestation from where the sound came and he was completely shocked from what he saw.


    The cosmic web now seemed to be bent inwards towards the core at the centre of the body of the manifestation. The red glow in the core had became even stronger and now one could see ripples travelling through the body of that manifestation, originating from the core.


    But the manifestation was no fool,  how could it allow someone to destroy it so easily.  For the first time in the battle it raised its hands towards the emperor.


    The true void which surrounded the emperor was know filled with a purple mist, not only that it seemed that the concepts ,where were contracted by the emperor , seems to have been replenished by the manisfestion.


    Now Dante could easily make out the directions in that area. Suddenly, more than 10 violet coloured souls with red eyes, irregular bodies and purple red patches came out of the mist.  They quickly physically attacked the emperor , a few of them grabbed his legs while the other few grabbed his hands,  as they struggled to withdraw his hands,  and the remaining one who was also the longest of them all attacked the emperor''s head. One of the red patches on the body of that soul split apart and it opened like a mouth,  with sharp pointed teeth,  as it tried to eat the head of emperor .


    SHIII


    The cores again started moving and they split apart the souls before contracting and turning them into their mass. After just annihilating those souls the emperor again turned his hand and another irregularity was formed on the body of the manifestation. At that moment,  Dante felt as if he just heard a groaning sound coming from the manifestation.


    Infuriated, the manifestation at last resorted to the physical attacks. Just in less than a fraction of second it came right in front of the emperor,  and tried to punch him with his right arm, but,  before the punch could have even landed, one of the cores which surrounded the emperor shone brightly and vibrating violet rays were emitted from it.  They quickly wrapped around its arm and forcefully pulled it back,  the fist struggled but was of no avail. The emperor touched the chest area of that thing, where the core was, and he poured in a lot of his power of laws.

 The Divine Spear

    The Law of gravity started coming out of the emperor''s hand and straight away penetrated its body, making its way through the manifestation of the universe in its body towards the fusion stone. The law wrapped itself around the stone , strengthening the previous application of the law. The stone ,which was also acting as the point mass core, again released a red light but this time it was way too strong, it travelled through its body and at last reached its edges. The core and edges had a stronger red glow than the rest of the body.


    Just after the emperor had successfully released the law, the manifestation kicked him at the stomach,  combined with the laws of kinetic energy while the potential law acted as a catalyst,  the Kick was so strong that it caused the concepts and the light along with the sound barrier to break at that specific area, which in turn made that area looked like two pieces of puzzle which were yet to be properly put together. Due to its impact the emperor was pushed back and crashed into a boulder, not only that , due to the sudden kick the emperor lost his concentration and the manifestation was released from the bindings, after which it just disappeared from there and in an instant teleported in front of the emperor. He quickly got back up and again raised his arms in their initial position; the cores , which were floating around the manifestation, suddenly chained the manifestation with a golden chain made up of law ,before it could hit him again,  and started emitting waves of red radiation in every direction before it was being emitted at a particular pattern , those red radiations formed a complicated structured walls which surrounded the manifestation .


    The red glow in the manifestation became even stronger , the laws from the core and the law of gravity struggled violently against each other, but atlast the law of gravity won the struggle over those half complete laws and started engulfing the entire manifestation, its body started shrinking in an unusual manner,  first, the irregularity became even larger,  then, another irregularity was formed in both of his legs and it was larger than the first one,  after which the first irregularity became even larger than the second one, causing its body to bend in a certain direction,  another one was formed, which was bigger than the previous one and it again caused its body to bend in another certain direction. It continued till its entire body was completely shrinked and was engulfed in the point mass core .


    " So, the stone was like a core of its power and or it will be much better to say : the stone was filled with so much laws that it started leaking out of it,  and finally formed that body with not so much intelligence, is my deduction correct? " Dante asked the old man.


    " Indeed, the stone is like a bucket which is overflowing with water. " the old man said while nodding at him.

    " So,  the emperor used his gravity like a lid to close that overflowing container with force, it seems like it wasn''t definitely easy." He said as he looked at the emperor.

    A golden fluid dropped on the ground.


    The fluid was coming out of the emperor''s right hand. Despite of this fact, the emperor kept his arm fixed in that same position, seemingly providing an infinite amount of gravity to the core.


    The laws of gravity started liquifying as it wrapped around the stone.


    The liquified law was looking like a liquid entirely made up of golden sparkles. The liquid then started flowing from left to right in an infinite loop.


    The attraction being released by this liquid was so strong that there was nothing which was not being attracted by it - different laws,  emotions, and  concepts, - due to the motion of the law, every single thing started moving in the same pattern,  from left to right, it looked like an endless vortex which would eat everything.


    Without any care for anything , he kept on pouring the law and the ball became even bigger and bigger, but the price was heavy , as more and more golden fluid started coming out of his hand.


    " That golden blood is awfully similar to that liquified law. Ahh, can you explain that? " Dante asked.


    " Well, the emperor is using his own body, you see after learning the laws , their (gods) mind was infused with those laws which means that those consciences had a body which was made up of their particular law, it''s like he is using his emergency funds.


    Such manuplation of law requires a lot of energy and concentration."


    Dante was looking at the scene when he suddenly noticed a pillar of light pierced through the emperor''s chest, but it didn''t stopped right there.  After peircing his chest, it went straight to the centre of the vortex ,where the liquified law was, and peirced right at the centre of that core through the layer of liquid law.


    The light faded away and soon revealed a long, 10 feet, golden spear. Suddenly,  weird symbols on the spear started glowing, releasing a deep golden glow;


    the spear started spinning in the direction opposite to that of the law.  As it spinned,  the mysterious symbols on the tip of the spear started absorbing the liquid, the absorbed liquid travelled up the spear and was stored in the mysterious glowing symbols on its entire body.  The emperor was still connected with the core and hence,  he couldn''t stop what happened next. After absorbing the liquid law,  the spear didn''t stopped spinning,  rather its speed increased.  Suddenly a small thread became visible, which connected the core and the emperor, through this string the spear started forcefully sucking the law and even his body.  The emperor''s body started dissociating into golden particles,  which was then sucked away by the spear through that string.


    But, it didn''t stopped right there, it even started sucking the laws which were present in the crystal.


    The Crystal slowly lost its lustre and it''s colour.


    While the spear was busy in absorbing the crystal, one of the particles which hid itself before, from the spear, slowly disappeared from there.


    Dante watched this entire thing; he was shocked to see this unexpected turn of events. The scene before his eyes again started returning to its previous state, everything changed back to White and black.


    Sigh.


    Suddenly after sighing,  Dante noticed a white shadow , which was definitely not of a human or a beast, to just float towards the spear.  The shadow stopped before the spear,  the shadow twisted and formed a figure of a human.  It raised its arms and, slowly the spear disappered.

    The scene blurred and everything turned dark.

 Rebirth - The seed

    Dante slowly opened his eyes and looked at the familiar blue sky, frozen in time. He slowly got up, and glanced around his surroundings and discovered that he was back to that place, everything was same as before, mysteriously frozen in time.


    " Your body is really weak, you were unconscious for about 2 hours after the projection ended." He heard the familiar voice of that old man and turned back, from where the sound came. The old man stood there as he played with his beard.


    " What do you even expect from a perfectly normal 16 year old lad." Dante replied as he approached him, he added " you have got a lot of explaining to do. "


    " I will answer all of your doubts. "


    " First of all, what was that thing at the end? "


    " I can tell you two things about it -


    First, that''s someone you have to find out on your own.


    Second, for a clue, that''s someone who is the arch rival of the emperor."


    " are you serious? "


    The old man nodded.


    " Before we go any further into this, I would love to continue to explain why I summoned you here. "


    " I would love to know that too. "


    " Dante, after the emperor died it became peaceful again and everything seemed to be back to normal, but it was just the calm before the storm.


    The gods went back to their safe dimensions, made up of their laws, to restore their soul, you remember that soul part and that signing part , right? "


    "yeah."


    " Even for gods, soul is a really important part of their body, destroying someone''s soul is similar to destroying their comprehension of law.


    They broke their soul into two parts, meaning that they gave away a portion of their strength.


    The treaty that they signed said that they wouldn''t fight each other until they had restored their strength, and will continue it after every single one of them would have restored their powers. "


    "can''t they just break that treaty? "


    " no, they can''t. It was a treaty written by laws.


    Even now the treaty is in effect, though most of the gods have already recovered their strength.


    Normally , every single one of them should have been able to restore their strength by now by taking some medication , but, for an interesting reason some of them are not even trying to heal themselves, rather they are just stalling the time. "

    I already know why.


    They have became even greedier than before, to attain more laws they have started to perform various experiments , even though I am completely fine with them attaining more laws and even killing each other , as long as they maintain the responsibilities it carries, because I want them to just maintain this world in the right order , but there is one thing I absolutely can''t be okay with, and I call them taboos, and that''s the reason why I called you here. Simply saying , I want you to stop them from committing taboos and make sure that everything goes on fine."


    " You know what, why would I even do anything for someone who is a complete stranger ?"


    After listening to his question the old man gave him a smile and said, " Very well, if you don''t want to then I won''t force you. But, let me inform you of something, I wont be able to sent you back to your world, as you are already dead in that world, someone murdered you, but fear not, as I won''t turn you into nothingness rather I will allow you to live here with any goal but you will be on your own, meaning that I won''t give you any kind of special power ,and believe me, living in this world , where corrupt gods reside, is definitely not a good choice, and if you still think that you will manage somehow, then let me show you something."


    The old man raised his hand and touched Dante.


    Suddenly, Dante ''s eyes started rolling as various scenes started flashing in front of him , but all of them had one thing in common , they were all dark, pain and full of suffering.Dante stood there with a frozen expression and beads of sweat could be seen on his forehead and his mouth remained open in shock.


    After sometime the old man removed his hand and Dante fell to his knees, he was sweating even more now. After learning of all the pain and prejudices in this world, one thing waa clear to him and that was : this world is only ruled by one thing, and one thing only, and that is - '' The Jungle Rule. ''


    "I will help you." Dante said with a tone which was filled with fear, suffering, and desperation , for the old man not only made him saw, but also feel those emotions.


    To his affirmation the old man smiled and mysteriously all the pain and suffering disappeared and it was now replaced by a warm comforting unspokable feeling.


    " You just don''t have to prevent, but also punish the ones who have performed those taboos and make an example out of them, are you fine with this? "


    Dante nodded.


    " Marvelous! " the old man exclaimed.


    " I was right about you!


    You really didn''t disappoint me, and I will give you a gift for that... Later.


    Oh my ...


    We are running out of time, so I shall brief you about the amendments I will do to your body, while this thing , which will become your companion and help you throughout your journey, will brief you about this world, how it works, types of life, legends, magic, spirits, and other various stuff on your journey to punish the evil! "


    The oldman said that in a playful tone full of excitement and a little bit of childish touch added to it. After saying that, the old man bought his hands close to each other and pressed them.


    A white light started coming out of his hand, he slowly separated them. Dante could see a white golden light coming out the old man''s hands, which first made a light ball and then the light ,which made the ball, started liquifying with a sound ,''Zzzzzzzz,'' the white golden light was now transformed into an ice white liquid which made another ball at the centre of the light ball, something like the point mass core, while this happened more and more light came out of his hand and was added to the ball, then suddenly emperor closed his hands against each other and the light ball with a liquid light core was smashed between his hands. He kept them closed and the light stopped. A strange dark circle made out of various laws with mysterious symbols, like that on the spear but more complicated, surrounded and spined around his closed hands. The symbols rose up from the circle and started floating towards the ball through his hands. Dante ,who was still on his knees, slowly got up and looked at the scene.


    The old man said with a serious expression and tone , " I am going to change your body and increase you statistics , both physically and mentally, but I am not going to give you any law, instead I am going to give you a seed, but not just any seed, this one will be different; a normal seed gives you the right to comprehend a law and use it''s power by inserting your own power of law in the world and by its manipulation affect the world, but, this one will allow you to change any kind of energy or matter to what you desire it to be, you can even have the power of the laws, but for this seed to work, you will have to first comprehend all the laws.


    Without your consent no god or consience will be able to affect this world in any way possible ."


    Suddenly a red vein popped out of the ground and penetrated into Dante ''s body, and after which many more started coming out of the ground and straight away invaded his body, overwhelmed by the pain he was not even able to scream and started feeling a little bit dizzy.


    A red thread started coming of the veins and it started connecting the veins, as it also started to cover Dante ''s entire body starting from his feet , like a thread which makes a cocoon.


    " You shall be the one who judge and guide them all ; you shall be the one who supervise them all ; you shall be the one to become¡­ "


    He released his hands and a golden white fluid with a white core at the centre quickly entered one of the veins, which led to his heart, and went into his body through it.


    Dante''s eyes rolled back due to the extreme pain when that thing entered his heart. The red thread has now almost covered his entire body and only his left eye was left. After being almost covered, it looked like a red cocoon. At the final moments before the red thread covered his left eye and before he goes unconscious , he saw the old man''s lips to move as they called him by an unknown name.

 Rebirth - The Awakening

    After an unknown period of time.


    *CRACK*


    A long crack developed in the now hard red cocoon, as a fluid, which looked like blood, came bursting out of that crack. The liquid instead of being absorbed by the ground just remained there, for there was no time for the ground to even absorb it.


    The cocoon started breaking into small pieces, those pieces would soon disappear before even falling to the ground. The cocoon slowly disappeared and revealed a naked body of a 16 year old male human. He was completely covered in the red fluid, still the yellow stone on his forehead shone brightly, so bright that even though he was all red covered with that fluid one could still see it.  A same type of stone ,but smaller in size, was on both of his hands. The boy had a height of 6 feet, and he had pretty a good built. His hair , dyed red, would be called long for a 16 year old school going kid.


    The yellow stone along with those two stones started emitting an even stronger yellow light. That light had a mysterious property, as it made all red fluid on the ground to float,  the floating fluid started spinning -it looked like 3 whirlpools, 1 bigger and 2 smaller ones . Those whirlpools were then sucked away by those stones respective of their size, but that was not it,  those stones even sucked away the red fluid on Dante, revealing his fair skin and a body dreamed by many. There was a small black mysterious symbol right at the middle of his chest, which gave a mysterious feeling; the stone on his forehead was actually placed on a hand band which was made out of an unknown material, and the stones on his hands were on wristbands, the three bands were wide at the area of the placing while they decreased in width as it moved away from it . The yellow glow in stones turned into a blood red glow, slowly the bands also started turning red from silver,  their original colour. The red light became even stronger and covered Dante''s entire body, after which with an instant Dante was covered in a red cloak , black trousers, a pair of red boot and underneath the cloak there was a dark luxurious royal blue shirt. Those clothes looked as if they belonged to the medieval period, and were owned by a nobel, who was a magician as well as a martial arts fighter, and was going on a battle. The red light slowly dimmed and the stones and the bands returned to their original state,  after a certain amount of time the bangles along with the stones started disappearing, and Dante ''s hair who were still red started turning back to their normal black colour, but his eyes were still closed.

    " EVERYONE!


    PREPARE YOURS ARMS, TACTIC 2, AND FOLLOW THE EMERGENCY PROTOCOLS.


    PROTECTING THE PRINCE AND THE PRINCESSES IS  OUR TOP PRIORITY."


    Rob, one of the 10 holy swordsman and the 3rd general of the kingdom of Mandellan, commanded his army - consisting of 50 soldiers , 10 wizards and 5 healers from the church of Prometheus - as he himself drew out his holy sword from its scimitar, which was placed at his waist.


    The holy swords belonged to the category of a great sword,  a huge sword without any single scratch on it and a huge blue colour orb placed at the joint between the handle and blade.


    He let out a deep breath and a faint blue aura covered his entire body, after which he raised his sword and shouted as the orb shone brightly" FOR THE PEOPLE! " After hearing Rob, all the soldiers rose their swords or bow while the wizards rose staff in unison and shouted the same words. Rob was pleased by their reaction and satisfied that he was able to rose the morale of his army, as what they were facing could make even a veteran shiver.


    What stood in front of them was 50 metre ice giant, usually an ice giant is nothing against a holy sword bearer but it wasn''t just any ice giant it was a cheiftian ice giant, taller than the normal giants by 25 metres,  with 4 hands 2 on each sides and each armed with a huge axe. Its skin was all white with a little tone of brown covered by a thick armour which seemed to be enchanted. Its snow white beard was long and almost reached its waist, its eyes were orange with a tone of red added to it.


    * ROAARRRRR*


    The giant roared in anger, seemingly irritated by these humans which were nothing more than bugs to him. His roar was powerful enough to make the weaker soldiers to guard against the wind, while Rob instinctly came in front of a young boy and a girl , both of 17 years,  to protect them from the wind. They could even smell his breath, which definitely wasn''t good, but there was only one thing going on Rob''s mind and that was how would he save princess Veronica and that boy who stood in front of the princess as a guard against the giant.


    Actually,  after the time started the old man''s image started enlarging and changed itself into this ice giant. This change caused a great panic among all especially true for those 3 kids, and especially especially true for Veronica. After all she was the 2nd most close person to the old man before the time stopped, and after witnessing this sudden change she was in utter despair that she would die today with this unknown person, but at the back of her mind at somewhere deep she had a little hope that the guy who had always protected her siblings and her would protect them again but he wasn''t the only person she trusted, she subconsciously had put a little of her faith in that unknown guy in front of her, whose eyes were closed.


    The army spread out and positioned themselves according to the tactic number 2, the soldiers were divided into a group of 3, the wizards stayed behind them and started preparing bind spells , distraction spells and even destructive spells even though those two would be hit by them while the healers positioned themselves at the end of line and spread out such that every single person was in their healing range.


    Rob took a last deep breath before he could dash out to rescue those two, suddenly he was grabbed by a gentle soft hand,  the hand belonged to the first princess , Jenny Mandellan,  as she said " you have to save them Rob." Rob nodded and felt relieved that princess Jenny, who was a muscle headed,  didn''t asked him to let her fight alone, after which he glanced at the prince,  the prince had a face full of worry and fear,  the prince looked at Rob in the eyes and said " as the future king,  I won''t accept any failure , Rob. " Rob smilled and bowed after which he again turned back as he observed the battlefeild carefully , looking for an opening. This book was originally published on Royal Road.     The battle was definitely not going in their favour.


    The soldiers tried to approach the giant from an opposite direction to that of Veronica in a group of 3, but whenever they approached it,  they were either smashed by the blunt side of the axe or disorderly cut down or destroyed ( as the axe was way too large for a human, therefore after a single strike more than half of their body was just destroyed)  from the blade side in an instant. Just in an instant the battlefeild was covered in red with broken bones,  disfigured bodies and even bodies in which half of it was crushed and the eyeballs and intestines were all popped out of the bodies.


    They were losing troops way too quickly and the injured ones were in such a bad shape that healing was useless , so instead of healing them, the healers focused their powers in healing the stamina of the wizards.


    Relatively, the wizards were doing a really good job,


    their fire ball, wind strikes , water ball weren''t all that effective but for the giant it was getting frustrating, to him it felt like he was being bitten mosquitoes, and just like the time when we are irritated by that humming sound coming from their wings as they fly, the giant was irritated by the sound which came during the incantations and the sound of the spells when they travelled through the air. The giant turned around towards the direction of the wizards and started walking towards them.


    * ROARRRR!"


    The giant walked at a normal speed and it just didn''t cared about the ground, as he stepped upon many soldiers as he walked,  and those poor soldiers died in an instant but their body was definitely not worth seeing. Seeing the giant move from that position,  Rob got himself ready for the move as he said in his mind '' just a little more. The wizards would use flight to get away from it, which will cause the giant to go even further away. At the end, I would rescue them and would even make it in time to save those wizards before it grabs them." The reason why he cared for the wizards so much and didn''t wanted to use them as  sacrificial pawns was because even though he had a holy sword he still highly doubted if he could go against that giant one on one and the other reason was the fact that these wizards were an integral part of the Kingdom of Mandellan and he was under strict orders of his majesty to protect the wizards. But what happened next changed destroyed his entire strategy.


    The Kingdom of Mandellan along with the other 3 states believe that the Gelderen empire, which is the strongest,  would indefinitely attack those 4 states, as a result of this cold war each one of those states highly valued any soldier even the smallest soldier was now cared and loved, let alone these wizards;


    And for the holy sword,  the holy sword which is being used by Rob actually belonged to one of the heroes who fought 300 years ago. After the heroes disappeared they left behind their arms for the younger generations to use them in time of need. Rob actually won a tournament and had various qualifications and even had the blood of a hero!


    For these reasons , the church of Prometheus along with the king of Mandellan empire gave the holy sword to Rob,  but at the end of the day, the sword wasn''t Rob''s, thus he can''t draw out all of its powers.


    Just like Rob predicted, the wizards used the flight magic but just before they could take off something happened.


    *swooooosssshhhhh*


    Something really big came piercing through the wind and hit the ground on which the wizards were standing. This sudden scene caused Rob''s eyes to wide open as he could clearly see what have transpired right now. The giant actually threw one of his axe at the wizards. This was totally unexpected, as a beast would never leave its weapon, but unknowingly Rob made a grave mistake,  he mistook a giant for a beast!


    The axe hit the ground and some of the wizards died instantly while the rest were seriously injured. Even though the healers were at quite a distance from the impact, but due to the fact that ground crumbled , all of them fell along with the ground resulting in the death of two, and rest who were injured along with the injured wizards and dead ones fell and were trapped under debris.


    And just like that, the army was annhilated.


    Seeing this destruction Rob gritted his teeth and due to the fact that his loyalty to the king is greater than his love for Veronica his priorities changed. Right now,  he had to protect the wizards and the healers and if wasn''t able to , then not only they will loose magic power but their relationship with the church of Prometheus will worsen and with that he also had to make an opening for the prince and the princess to leave.


    He ordered the left soldiers , who were guarding the royalty, to escort the prince and the princess back to the castle and send the information about the giant at the outer region of the abysl forest.


    He tightly gripped his sword and dashed towards the giant , who was still facing the area where it just caused havoc, thinking to take an advantage by attacking from the behind. The giant raised its right arms to again attack the wounded wizards, seeing this Rob quickened his steps and jumped at the giant. He raised his sword as the orb became even brighter and he attacked it.


    *CLANK *Before Rob hit its back,  his sword collided with a huge axe.  His eyes widened but being fought in a battlefield he quickly gained his calm and pushed the axe back, which was being held by another which just rose from its back. Just as he pushed it back another one came from his left .


    * CLANK *


    Rob blocked it again but was pushed back and landed hard on the ground, even though there was not even a single scratch on the sword but his hands were all bleeding and shaking after the impact, and he realised that this giant is a mutated being.


    Seeing this everyone''s expression darkened,  after all Rob was a holy swordsman and they have never seen him to be cornered just like that, except in front of other holy swordsmen. Veronica and Jenny couldn''t believe what they had just witnessed, but Veronica being soft , tears started coming out of her eyes and she was just on the edge of crying, while Jenny being the muscle headed instead drew out her sword and was about to jump in the battlefeild before the soldiers caught her and refused to let go of her while she said that she would punish them when they returned to the capital . But the prince , Ryan Claisen Mandellan, was a person who was always full of schemes; after witnessing it instead of running away he started thinking about various ideas, it didn''t took him long before a smile came on his face.


    Ryan took out a stone from his pocket and as he held that stone , he released his magic power amplified and hidden by that stone, he quickly transported his magic in front of Dante. The magic gathered and formed a ball which was stronger than any of the magic the wizards had used until now. Seeing the ball Rob''s expression changed and he quickly understood who was doing this and why.


    The giant was approaching Rob slowly,  when suddenly a magic ball hit it, because of this stealth attack it seemed to be lost for a second. Taking the advantage of this situation, Rob dashed towards them and picked up Veronica without any care for Dante. He didn''t picked Dante because he wouldn''t have been able to run fast with a lot of weight.


    The giant turned around and looked at Dante,  thinking that he was the one who dared to irritate him. Rob quickly got out of there and reached the group, but after reaching them he didn''t put down Veronica as he knew how kind hearted she was and she wouldn''t definitely leave without that kid,  he was able to get her here was all thanks to his quickness, that he got her here before she could even realise that she was being carried away.


    Everyone in the group except for Ryan were shocked to see what just happened. Jenny straight away went to Veronica with a worried and relief expression after she struggled her way out the soldier''s hold. She gave her a healing pill and thanked god that she was safe.


    " Let''s get going!  That thing will attack us after him, " Ryan exclaimed.


    Hearing him everyone started leaving but Veronica who was being held by Rob was crying and saying " No,  no, no we can''t leave without him."

    Hearing her, Jenny had a complicated face, then suddenly her face was filled with determination as if she just made the decision. Jenny stopped and said


    " I agree with Veronica.


    We are the proud and righteous people of the kingdom of Mandellan,  we definitely can''t leave him behind and do this injustice to a civilian."


    She declared.


    " Sister Jenny " Veronica said with hope.


    Ryan,  Rob and everyone else except for Veronica were absolutely irritated by her attitude, Ryan and Rob were feeling disappointed upon themselves for always protecting her from the outside world.


    " Carry her." Ryan commanded and the soldiers approached Jenny to pick her up,  seeing this Jenny made a serious face and kicked one of the soldiers in his balls. She was wearing steel boots therefore,  the soldier just passed out. Veronica gave Rob trouble by fidgeting that''s why he couldnt do anything as Jenny ran away towards the giant. Seeing her Ryan and Rob shouted, and being exhausted of all of their options, they ran behind her, but they were too late.


    The giant had already raised his right arms and was aiming at Dante who stood there still with his eyes closed, * ROARRRR * with a roar the giant swung down its hands at full force.


    "" NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"" Veronica and Jenny shouted.


    BBBANGGGGGGGGG


    When the strike landed, Dante opened his red dyed eyes.

 Reborn - The Awakening 2

    * BAMMM*


    The hammer ''s blunt side hit Dante, the impact was so great that it could have killed most of the demons just like that and it wouldn''t have been a good site.


    At the time when Dante was hit by the hammer he was still in deep sleep, for physically his new body was ready but his body wasn''t prepared mentally. The impact woke him up and his body was sent flying in the direction of the force of the hammer.


    He flew so fast that Veronica, Jenny and others weren''t able to see him, to them it looked like his body was utterly destroyed by the strike that it vanished. Seeing this Veronica started crying and Jenny felt her heart sank as they blamed themselves, for if they would have been a little fast or if they would have decided to help him earlier, then, the result would have been different. Even Rob felt bitter as he was a holy swordsman after all, the bearer of the holy sword and knight who protects the righteous and slay the evil, but of them all only Ryan didn''t cared, rather he wanted to shout at them for their stupidity and run away from there, but, before he could even say anything, he saw a big black object coming at them as it pierced through the air , his pupils expanded.


    * CLANK *


    Rob blocked the incoming axe in the midair and pushed it towards the left at some distance from the group. He landed on the ground and tightened his grip on the blood red handle , as a blue aura surrounded his body. The blood of the hero ,in his body , started liberating an unknown mysterious power, the orb on the crystal sword sensed a familiarity and in turn it gave Rob much more authority than before , as the blade slightly increased in size and it became lighter than before. His eyes were now set on the giant, who was approaching them with a look that someone has when they approach their weak prey.


    Seeing the giant slowly approaching them with a malicious intent Ryan, being a wicked person, he quickly cast a binding spell and ran in the opposite direction as he held two chains ,one with each hand, which were connected to his sisters.


    " WHAT ARE YOU DOING ?" Jenny said as she tried to break those chains with her strength.


    " SHUT UPP!


    I AM SAVING YOUR LIFE. " Rob said and the frustration was evident on his face , if they would not have been his beloved sisters then he would have just left them here to die.


    Rob, being given physical training from the early days of his childhood, ran really fast added to the fact that he was dragging his sisters too.


    Seeing those pesky humans running away, the ice giant grunted and raised his right arms.


    *ROARR... *


    An icy white glow surrounded the axes and suddenly the ground started shaking.


    * SHHHHHHH*


    Suddenly , an ice wall rose from the ground and surrounded everyone. The ice wall kept on increasing though slowly but still fast enough to reach a height of 35 metres within a matter of 5 minutes .     ''Damn, my head hurts.


    What was that thing?''


    Dante thought, as his body flew through the air in a horizontal position with his front towards the ground. He was so fast that the scene in front of his eyes was slightly blurred and changed really fast. For Dante this was his first time ever seeing something like this, or it was his first time to move so quickly, therefore it confused him a little at first as he shook his head and thought that this was one of the tricks of that old man. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, his mind was now calm even though he still felt the headache. Usually, whenever he used to close his eyes he could only see darkness, but right now he could see various colourful figures which formed unusual familiar figures , but they were being replaced by new figures at such a fast rate that it looked like a live picture made out of different colours, alive and continuously changing its colour.


    *BAAAMMMM*


    The colourfull picture was now turned all black; he felt something upon his head which made him to open his eyes, but just like the picture all he could see was darkness, though he could see some of the sunlight sweeping in through small cracks. Actually, he had crashed into a boulder and the broken rocks had fell upon him covering his entire body including his vision.Dante moved his hands and placed them on the rock above his head, after which he gave it a slight push.


    *PTT*


    The rock was sided away with just a simple push, he looked at the direction of the rock and was surprised to see its size.


    '' It seems like that old man has indeed increased my statistics, and from the looks of it they were increased by a great number. I mean just look at this rock, in my previous world , it would have took quite an effort to even raise a small brick.


    Wait¡­


    Does this mean that I posess some crazy ass power, like what I saw in that flash back?!


    If that''s the case then...


    Nah, I am an idiot, if I recall what he said then he clearly meant that he won''t give me any law.''


    Sigh


    Dante looked at the scene in front of his eyes, he could see tall trees ,that looked like Pine, surrounding him in all the directions. It was not a plain area though, rather a hilly one and he was standing at a higher ground. The sun was high in the sky and there were no clouds to be seen, it was quite hot and there was cold wind blowing. He could hear various sounds of wild animals coming from the surrounding area. But something was unusual,the things looked more clear then before and he could clearly see the ants climbing up the trees and he could even make out every single bird on the trees, and even the dust particles on those Birds feathers were to be clearly seen by him. Not only that, he could even hear the sounds produced by the feet of those ants and the sounds produced by the joints of those birds as they moved their heads left and right. But instead of being happy that his senses were enhanced, he was rather irritated because he was having a headache because of all this extra information.


    He again closed his eyes and this time unlike the first time, the figures didn''t changed their shape but they still looked alivea as their edges were continuously expanding and contracting though the never expanded and contracted more than a specific limit. Dante looked at that picture and found that it looked awfully similar to the scene he had just seen when his eyes were opened, the only difference between them that everything in this picture was made out of an orange colour which faded away into a purple border and there were only a few specific things - bark of trees , leaves, stones which were about to fall from a cliff - were shown in the picture and everything else was either black or white. He moved his head towards the right and picture in his head moved towards the right, which made it clear to him that this was a live feed sort of thing.


    With his hands folded and eyes closed, he was completely indulged in this new thing trying to figure out more information about it like uses, an act totally befitting for his nickname - the seeker - given to him by his friends in his former world, but before he could study about it more.


    * RUMBLEE *


    The ground started shaking, even the images in the picture started shaking and for some unknown reason waves ,formed by the purple colour, started propagating in to and fro motion, and direction of the motion was always towards the direction of shake, in those orange figures and for some unknown mysterious reason , this shaking was even able to influence the motion of the borders, as they were now contracting and expanding even more, and the change varied greatly, sometimes the the border increased by a lot and sometimes it expanded even less than the original expand, and the same things happened in the contraction phase of the motion.


    Irrespective of this interesting change, Dante opened his eyes and his attention was caught by the two huge axes which were raised towards the sky by two huge hands and were covered in a white mist.


    The blunt side of the axes looked familiar and he thought '' was that the thing which hit me? ''


    Dante observed that thing carefully and came to a conclusion that it was indeed that thing.


    Upon confirming it, the first thought which came to his mind was revenge, but, then he remembered all those things which the old man had showed him earlier , and he was forced to have a second thought on it.


    Tchh


    He clicked his tongue, seemingly his frustration on that thing was getting the best of him. In his previous world, Dante was one of the most treacherous person and ,even though he was quite a weak person , he would still beat many strong people in a fight by using his intelligence, wickedness and great environment awareness, but, due to the fact that he was forcefully awaken and he wasn''t prepared mentally , his tolerance level has been reduced to a pathetic level. Adding to it was the fact that all these new changes in his body are being quite a hefty task for his weak brain to process and it was resulting in a really bad headache. Not only that, an unknown thing in his body was lusting over the magical power contained in the giant and was wanting to eat every ounce of magic in it, thus, it was mentally affecting Dante to kill it.


    Atlast, he gave up his rational thinking to his emotion and desire for revenge, with a strong push by his feet, he leapt forward towards the giant in full speed. He leapt through the forest and wherever he kept a foot whether branches , stones or the ground to leap forward, that place was destroyed by the force he applied on them to leap forward ; his black eyes now had a little glint of redness in them and one could feel the intense killing intent coming from them.

 Hunger

    '' This is bad, extremely bad.


    Rob has been able to hold up his own against the giant, but the problem is that the giant had only used his physical strength uptil now,  if he uses his magic then we are done for!  Damn it! '' Ryan thought as he smashed his fist on the ground.


    "Isn''t there anyway to escape from this situation, and we had already used those communication stones earlier when we called for Rob; and thanks to these damned walls we can''t even run. " Ryan shouted.


    " Run?


    What none sense are you spouting, just let me go and I will teach that big bastard a good lesson." Jenny said as she used her hands trying to get away from the hold of those chains made from magic while she repeatedly said " let me go! "


    " Jenny shut up!


    Can''t you see that you are no match for that guy?


    You will die in just a matter of seconds just like that guy." Ryan replied.


    " What do you even mean by that!?


    How can you live the rest of your life knowing that you had killed someone?" Jenny replied.


    The two continued their argument while Rob tried to finish that thing for good. Rob was an excellent swordsman and a veteran, therefore he knew a great ton of techniques and even though he was not that strong against the giant but he was able to hold his own against that giant, but the price was not cheap and all those buff techniques especially that skill known as '' The blood of ancestors '' were now taking a toll on his body.


    He could feel every single bone in his body crying in pain and making it painfully clear that he won''t last long.


    He tightened his grip and jumped towards the giant. The giant roared and swing it''s axes and this time he striked him with his real power indicating that the play time is over now.


    * CLANK *


    * CLANK *


    Just after a couple of exchanges Rob could feel his hands going numb due to the impact; the last strike was enough to stun him in the mid air.


    * BAMMM *


    Before Rob could even get out of his stunned state, he took a direct hit by the blunt side of the axe. The strike was as strong as the one he landed on Dante earlier, but his body is not as strong as either the holy sword or Dante.


    * BUMMM *


    Rob crashed on the ground hard and the ground was destroyed in the shape of his body where he crashed.

    Seeing Rob took a heavy hit and then crashing into the floor, the three of them cried his name in concern and approached him. They saw Rob in a really bad shape, his armor was completely destroyed near the chest area and they could see blood coming out of the armor he had worn.

    '' He is even coughing up black blood!


    This means he has a broken rib cage!'' Ryan thought as his mind sunk because now after the defeat of Rob their death was certain. He looked around and saw his sister Veronica who was crying even more louder and Jenny who was just following her usual muscle headed nature - trying to avenge Rob. He started thinking of various plans but before he could even come up with something, he sensed a huge amount magic.


    All of them looked towards the giant even the injured one was looking at the giant with a single swollen eye . A terrifying amount of magic was being condensed by the giant in his axes, the axes started glittering in an ice white colour and one could see some low level runes on the axes glowing in an ice white colour.


    Seeing this scene to unfold everyone was now sweating and they were preparing themselves for the upcoming death. Ryan''s expression was that of awe and fear as being one of the top wizards he could clearly feel the amount of energy in those axes and was sure of one thing and that is : this a S -league monster, monsters which could only be heard about in tales of an old adventurer. Rob was quite happy for he was satisfied that he wont be killed by someone weak and treacherous, rather he will be killed by a S - league monster, but at the same time he was really upset due to the fact that he wasn''t able to protect them and had failed a duty given to him by His majesty.


    " Ryan,  Jenny and beautiful Veronica; I am really sorry for not being able to protect you people.  I have failed you. " Rob said.


    After listening to him Veronica started crying even louder while Jenny said " where are the honours?  I am going to punish you when we get back. " as she still struggled with those chains, and " You did a great job, Rob.  The Kingdom is proud of you. " Ryan said with a tone of the king. " I love you all." Ryan said those words with honesty and hugged his two sisters as he had clearly given up on surviving this attack . Veronica hugged him back and cried on his shoulder while Jenny still didn''t wanted to accept their faith and believed that she could solve this with power, as the white light from the axes fell upon them Ryan closed his eyes and welcomed the impending death.


    * SHHHUUUUKKKKK *


    The earth first shook, founding it weird that the giant had still not used his attack, everyone opened their eyes and what they saw was straight out of a nightmare. All the four arms of the giant including the axes were cut off ,with an irregular cut, from the main body, it seemed more like that they were bitten off.  They could see the veins, muscles and even some bones to be coming out of those areas which were once the joints of his shoulders and arms along with the blood which flowed without stopping.


    * ROARR *


    The giant growled in pain.


    They were so surprised by this sudden change that they were not even able to utter a single word and just watched the giant with their mouths opened. They looked here and there to figure out what happened; they saw a huge hole in the ice wall and from there they could see a path ,which was formed by destruction of ground and trees, leading to the giant, but the path didn''t stopped right there and it looked like the giant was just a roadblock , they traced the path with their eyes and just where the path ends they saw a familiar boy with black and red hair and they saw a mysterious red fluid surrounding his right hand to slowly disappear.     The entire area around that boy was covered with blood, and one could even see broken big chunks of bones and muscles, there were even some metal pieces laying there covered with blood and those runes on them still glowed.


    The giant continued to roar in pain as more and more blood came out of those wounds, suddenly the blood vessels and the muscles around that area started swelling and transformed into a sack, it became bigger and bigger and  it looked as if it was going to burst at any moment.


    * KACHHHH *


    The sack burst while throwing a blue liquid in every single direction and new four arms came out of that sack.  The new arms looked much more muscular and one could feel their heat being absorbed by it and in return it was giving coldness.


    Dante turned around towards the giant.


    Something was different with him, as before he was summoned, in his previous world Dante neither had experience in killing nor he did anything even related to martial arts,  maybe this could be answered by looking in his eyes. His eyes were turned a little red and both of his iris started shifting to the left and right direction respective to the position of that eye. This process was giving him a really bad headache and he could feel his consiousness slowly fading away . Dante pressed the back of his head with both of his hands due to pain and the strength with which he was pressing his head kept on increasing as the pain did, then suddenly he heard a tempting whisper in his ear which said '' Just leave it to me. ''


    As if Dante was ready to leave this all to that guy who was the owner of this voice Dante let go his strength and his conciousness went into deep sleep. His body stood there and was now covered with a really dim glow of golden aura, so dim that one cannot see it with normal eyes, speaking of eyes his iris shifted back to their original positions and were turned black again with a little golden to it.  The aura was giving off a godly presence but it was so low that others couldn''t notice it.


    The group again turned their look on Dante and the first thing they saw was his face, with just a look of it they remembered this kid, seeing him Veronica and Jenny felt a bit relaxed on the fact he wasn''t dead, while the others were shocked to see him,  as it was clear to them and painfully cleared to Rob that no human can survive that blow without death, even if they were heroes they would have atleast took a wound, but , leaving unscathed after such an impact was just unbelievable, not only that but Rob also felt something really off about this kid , whenever he looked into the eyes of that kid he couldn''t help but remember about the eyes of the legendary hero who was the one who defeated the demons in the first war and Dante''s presence is almost similar to that of that hero.


    * ROARRR *


    The giant tightened his muscles as the veins on them were now even more visible then before, seemingly the giant was going nuts because of the earlier attack. He started running towards Dante at his full speed and it seems like the giant has not felt that presence yet.


    * THAD *


    The ground shook after his each step and the time gap between each of the shake was decreasing as the giant speed up and just before reaching him, the giant punched him with his top right fist.


    The consiousness ,which had took over Dante, looked around and his golden eyes were fixed on that monster , as it tried to punch Dante, he jumped towards the giant and with a right hand of his own, he took the attack head on.


    * BAMM *


    * CRACK *


    In front of that right hand ,which was covered with a godly aura, the giant'' s punch was not even able to put up a struggle before it was completely destroyed in a nasty way. Right at the moment of contact, the giant''s forearm broke from the middle and one could see two white bones coming out of the torn muscles along with blood , and his elbow bent in a way it was not supposed to be.


    Before the giant could even react and right after the punch, Dante, who looked devoid of any emotion,  used the bone of the forearm as a stepping stone and jumped just a little a higher than the head of giant. After reaching that point Dante again punched it on the top of its head.


    *BAMMM*


    The punch was so strong that even Rob and others , who were sitting at quite a distance, could feel its intensity. Due to the punch''s sheer strength the skull of the giant burst like a balloon and spread blood in every single direction. The consiousness landed on its shoulder and then again raised his fist but this time something was different, his fist was being wrapped by a mysterious golden fluid with a white nucleus which was emitting an eerie golden light.  The golden light was intoxicating in nature, because of which Ryan, Veronica, and Jenny along with other soldiers passed out, Rob being a veteran was familiar with such spells or even tricks and as a result his tolerance was higher than most people, but still, he felt dizzy and his vision was slightly blurred.


    Just before the consiousness , which was controlling Dante''s body, could land the finishing blow and be done with it ,something really unusual happened.


    Icy cold smoke started rising from the open neck of the giant as it covered the entire area, the consiousness smelled the smoke and he was shocked and said


    " THIS SMOKE IS MADE UP OF POWER OF LAWS!!!


    WHAT THE F@@K IS HAPPENING HERE ?!


    DAMN! SO THIS IS THE REASON WHY HE WAS TRYING TO TAKOVER HIS BODY."


    The consiousness took a deep breath and calmed itself and now one could see a bit of regret in his eyes.


    Sigh


    With a tired look, the consiousness said


    "He is coming. "


    Suddenly the golden fluid which surrounded the right arm of Dante started trembling, it grew in size and formed many finger like projections.  The golden aura surrounding Dante''s body slowly faded away and was now replaced by a red aura, unlike the golden aura which was godly this was a sinister aura and could be called a devilish aura.


    His eyes were out of color and looked like the eyes of a dead person until when a red color started filling those eyes. Just like his eyes, the golden colour in that fluid faded away and was now being filled with a red color,  which was terribly similar to the dark red colour of blood. After his eyes and that fluid were all red , the iris again started shifting to their respective positions. As they shifted the consiousness went into deep sleep and due to the immense pain Dante woke up but , he wasn''t the only one who woke up.


    The iris atlast finished their repositioning and their initial position was now took over by another red iris.


    The red iris was mainly grey with a tone of red. If one would see clearly then they would be able to see that there were strange symbols embedded on that iris and they were not glowing at all rather they were dimming the red glow around them.


    The Red fluid didn''t stopped expanding and soon covered the entire giant and the smoke that was being released by it, like an animal before devouring


    Its prey to end their hunger and thirst for blood.


    The red fluid even engulfed Dante as he started acting like a madman and the reason for him to act like one was because he was having a hard and painful time in defending his control over the body against that '' he '' who was mentioned by the consiousness earlier , '' he '' is also the one to whom those other pair of red iris belongs to.


    The red fluid and its finger like projections soon covered the entire body of giant, which was still standing,  and started absorbing and eating that thing like a hungry animal devouring it''s favourite prey. As Dante struggled with '' he '' the red fluid slowly ate everything but it never absorbed anything, it would soon discard away the eaten things as if it was looking for something , the eaten flesh would just disappear but the eaten mana was released as small white particles, because being given a body of laws Dante couldn''t use normal magic. Soon the red fluid reached the core of that giant , the core was like ball which had a mysterious symbol like the ones on the divine spear but much less complicated. The symbol started glowing even more and as a result the red fluid''s movement was almost put to a hault, but at that moment.


    " HAHAHHAHA "


    A frenzy laugh resounded and its source was Dante, seemingly that '' he '' had a really big ego and it couldn''t just withstand such defiance to his attack. The symbols on the iris of '' he '' started dimming the surrounding even more than before as a result the red fluid at last broke through that defence of the core and it approached the icy white liquid inside it.


    The area around that liquid was at absolute zero and as result it was getting extremely difficult for '' he '' to devour and consume it, not only that,  the mysterious power of law in that liquid was even affecting the red fluid. The finger like projections in that fluid which were always expanding have now started contracting, and they contracted to point where can''t even be seen, not only that no matter how much that red fluid tried it would never be able to come close to that liquid. Seeing this '' he '' was getting irritated and impatient, '' he '' increased the power of attacks but still it would be of no use at all.


    "YAHHHHHH"


    Atlast '' he '' poured all his power and the red fluid in the end broke past the defence of that liquid.


    It started absorbing the icy white substance which was neither liquid nor solid yet when absorbed it flowed and ,when it wasn''t, it behaved like a solid.


    As it absorbed the icy white liquid the colour of that red fluid changed into that of that liquid being absorbed. The liquid soon reached Dante ''s body,  which was behaving like '' he '' and couldn''t wait for it to be absorbed,  and as it absorbed the fluid both Dante and '' he '' could feel immense pleasure as if their long last hunger was put to an end with their favourite food. '' he '' soon disappeared after the absorption was over like a animal who had gone to sleep after eating.


    Dante could feel '' he '' was gone now and he felt really relaxed now,  his body was coming back to its original shape as he fell down to the ground , as the giant has disappeared after being eaten.


    Dante fell to the ground and he slowly got up and he could feel that his entire body has again come back to his control, but suddenly  huge amount of data started transferring to his brain, this was all the knowledge contained in that small fragrant of law.  The amount of data was so much that it was getting too much for Dante ''s brain , after all he was forcefully woken up and wasn''t prepared mentally. Dante felt as if his brain was going to burst at any moment from now. Not being handle so much knowledge all at once Dante screamed in pain and again pressed his head. His clothes turned a little icy white and same was with his hair ,eyes and same was with his hair ,eyes and even skin colour.


    Blood started coming out of his nose and ears indicating that his brain was definitely hurt by this, then suddenly the headband and handbands reappeared, they were now covered with a dense icy white aura and soon the stones ,which were on them, absorbed all of it.


    * KHENNNN *


    After absorbing the fragrant of the law, the headband passed a vibration through Dante ''s head because of which he passed out. After which the headband and handbands disappeared and so did the clothes which were being worn by Dante.

    Frozen heaven, where the lord of eternal coldness resides, inside a huge white room ,which was lit by a mysterious white glow coming out of the walls and even the air, sat an old man , with long blue beard, hazel coloured long hair, and was wearing spectacles whose glasses were made by freezing light to an absolute zero, and it was probably not for traditional use; on a long icy chair who was reading the papers infront of him kept on a long desk, when suddenly there was a knock on the door.

    If a normal person would had heard this sound then he could had easily told you the difference, that this sound is much more crisp, clear and moreover it would be somehow felt by that person as if the sound was pricking his ears.


    The two giant white doors opened smoothly, the two doors looked majestic like never been seen before not only that, one could feel the immense pressure they were giving off just my by moving.


    A young man with hazel hair , though a lot lighter than the old man ''s, entered. The guy walked in front of the old man. That guy bowed before he said with a respectful voice full of honesty and disappointment.


    " Sir, we have lost contact with the experiment number 1145. "


    The old man, who was still looking at the papers, with a calm voice told him -


    " Start extracting the law and prepare another experiment with the amendments. "


    The reason why he was still calm and gave away the directions before even knowing the cause was because it was just a test subject and death of one is not something uncommon because of weird tests that they have been doing, but the reply which the young man gave him next was completely unexpected.


    " An alien had destroyed the protective shell before it forcefully sucked away the law. "

    Hearing this reply the old man stopped reading the papers and his azure eyes were now set on that young man.


    " Are you sure, have you checked if people from illusion heaven haven''t interfered with our energy strings? " his voice has now turned serious.


    " There were no traces or after effects of usage of the power of laws found."

    He said as he kept his right hand on his cheek.

    Inside the magnificent huge chambers, whose every wall was made up of marble, and gold was used to decorate it, there sat a handsome middle aged man with golden hair and black eyes, who was wearing a golden robe. This middle aged man is the king of this magnificent kingdom, kingdom of Mandellan, situated at the south west of the continent of Prometheus, and the one who was standing in front of him was a middle aged man, Rob, with black hair and black eyes whose body was completely covered with bandages.


    " So, I shall ask you Rob, is this the birth of a new hero? "


    " I am sure my lord , the strength he displayed earlier should on par with the s class monsters. "


    " Hmm...


    You may leave now. "


    " As you wish my lord, but you can''t tell about this to anyone. " Rob nodded before he bowed and left the chambers.


    After Rob left, the king, Caldwell Paul Mandellan, stood up and walked down to a closet. He took out a white box from it and opened it.


    The box was obviously luxurious and had red cushions inside it to for the safety of the priceless artifact inside it which was all wrapped in a dark violet soft cloth and a platinum colored insignia was stitched on that cloth. The insignia consisted of two crossed swords , which were covered by beautiful vines, and a staff between them.


    Caldwell took that thing out of the box and kept the box on a side table. He took that oval shaped thing with him as he sat down on his bed, after which he slowly and gently with great care unwrapped it, soon it was unwrapped and revealed an oval crystal, whose colour was silver, with the same insignia that was on the cloth carved on it. He held the crystal with both of his hands ,after he had gently put that cloth on the bed beside him, and slowly closed his eyes. He muttered a few incantations as he channeled his mana in that crystal, the crystal reacted to his actions and the insignia carved on it started glowing , feeling that his incantations worked he slowly opened his eyes after which they were fixed on the insignia waiting patiently for something to happen and then, suddenly heard his voice.


    " Oh!


    Hello Paul, it has been such a long time since we had a conversation last time. "


    " Uncle Gilbert, pardon my disrespect for calling you like this. "


    " Oh!


    No problem at all and just drop these honorifics already, you are like my own kid, and believe me I would never want my kid to behave like this. You know I am really happy that you have called me, I thought that you have forgotten about us,

    " At the moment I don''t, he could be spy for other kingdoms or considering his strength could even be a demon, but if I could make sure that he is not a demon or if any other of those possibilities could be proven wrong then, I would love to. "

    I understand why you have called me, and I am even ready to dig out his past and find out who and what that kid is, but, after I am done and if it''s proved that he is a human indeed then I want that kid. "


    " You can have him. Afterall, it would be better if you could protect him from all those churches, but I want that kid to protect this kingdom of mine from the Gelderen Kingdom. "


    " Wohh


    That''s a toughy. Well, The Gelderen is mysterious and powerfull but it had been since the time when I first saw it, but it had never attacked you people neither any other kingdom, but even if it does I can''t allow interference of such a powerfull being. You know what I mean right? "


    " I understand, but promise me if it''s his own will then you won''t interfere? "


    " As long as he behave like a human and doesn''t break war crimes. "


    " You still hold righteousness above all don''t you, uncle? "

    The signal was cut off and the insignia on the crystal stopped glowing, seeing this Caldwell sighed and started looing at the glowing lamp kept on a distant table. His eyes were fixed on it but his mind was on something else, probably he was planning on what to do to make Dante want to help him.

    Time passed away, minutes became hours and hours became days, but Dante was still unconscious lying on a bed in private home especially prepared for him , and finally after a week the day came when he finally opened his eyes.

    Capital city of Mandellan empire.


    The capital city was located on an entire hill and it even covered it''s surrounding areas. On the top of the hill was the castle of Mandellan, where the royalty resides along with other people working for them. The area surrounding the hill is known as the outer circle while the area comprising the hill is known as the inner circle of the capital. The inner circle is the place where many nobles and big merchants reside, while the commoners reside in the outer circle.


    The inner circle had many beautiful and magnificent manors, but there was a manor , just below the castle, which was even more beautiful and magnificent then others. The manor looked almost like an another castle and its security was same as that of the castle- with numerous battlemages , knights and even the holy knights were here, but this kind of security would seem normal if one would have known that this is a manor which has been built upon a dungeon, and that dungeon is being used as a cage to keep a being who is capable enough to destroy a cheiftian frost giant, a s-league monster, with just a single punch.


    Usually the streets in the inner circle are more quiet than the outter circle but you could still hear the sounds of conversation of nobels and merchants on the street and this was even true for the street which heads to that magnificent manor, but since a week things have changed.


    The manor was now being heavily guarded and the only sounds you could hear are the sounds made by the footsteps of the soldiers patrolling the area which was true for even today , but suddenly a faint sound of a cart could be heard and this alerted the everyone in the manor.


    The courtmage who was in front of the gate of the manor took a vintage binocular, made out of bronze and magical lenses, and looked in the direction of the source of the sound.


    First he wasn''t able to see anything but as the sound came closer he was able to see a black luxurious cart which was being carried by black horses, which looked quite majestic, but the surprising thing was that there was no one who was guiding these horses rather it was apparent that these horses were intelligent enough and they knew the location, route and how to move along this route.


    The court mage was first quite surprised and alerted, but then his sight fell upon the insignia which was carved on the clothes of the horses and even on a black cloth which was hung down from the top front edge of the cart.


    The insignia was similar to the one which was engraved on that crystal which was used by the king earlier. Just a look was enough for him to realise that whose carriage this was.


    The court mage called up a soldier and told him to inform the holy sowardsmen about the incoming carriage. The soldier bowed and left .


    Soon the cart was visible to the naked eye and the new soldiers who could see it were quite shocked and some of them even thought that they were being attacked by an evil spirit. This lead to quite an unrest among the new soldiers, but the new soldiers were quite surprised to see that the old ones weren''t shocked to see those horses. So, they decided to ask them about it which was creating quite a noise.


    " SILENCE ! "


    The noise soon desipated into the air after those words which were said by a tone filled with authority. All the eyes were now fixed on the person who said this instead of that cart. This person was the general of the Mandellan kingdom and first holy swordsman who was also the owner of not one but two holy equipment. All the soldiers were quite surprised to see him as they weren''t aware of his presence among them.


    During the time when everyone''s eyes were fixed on the general , the front door of the manor was opened and the person who came outside shocked those soldiers even more than the general.


    Guarded by 6 holy swordsmen , this person was the absolute authority in the kingdom Mandellan : the king of the mandellan kingdom, Paul Mandellan.


    Lead by the general the king finally arrived in front of the gate of the manor. Since the distance between the gate and manor was quite big so it took a while for the king to atlast reach the gate and in that time the carriage had already arrived.


    The general took a stand as he came infront of the door of the carriage which was still closed and he said a loud " we of the Mandellan kingdom offers our utmost respect to his highness , the great hero Gilbert, and her highness , the great hero Emma. After saying that he bend down at a perfect right angle and along with him everyone , except the king, bend down even those who were the new soldiers, as they were now aware of their identity they couldn''t help but bend down and show their utmost respect and gratitude.


    The door finally opened and a beautiful nobel lady was the first one to get off the carriage followed by a middle aged man.This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work.


    The middle aged guy had quite long black hair with a streak of white hair, a muscular build and black eyes. He was wearing a white shirt ,which was tugged in a brown trouser, and a black blazer. His clothes not only looked as if they were made with a precious cloth rather there was also a blue magical glow coming out of his clothes.


    The woman who stood beside that guy was wearing same types of clothes. She had brown hair and eyes, a fair face and naturally pink lips, she had that mature beauty in her. She was wearing a long black dress similar to the one being worn by that man.


    There was an insignia stiched on their clothes on the right chest area.The insignia was similar to the one on the carriage , but this one looked even more nobel and majestic . This insignia was actually made by a thread of gold and platinum.


    Seeing the middle aged couple Paul bent a little to show his respect and was about to say something but Gilbert, that middle aged guy, didn''t let him and said " Paul, how many times do I have to remind you that I don''t like these honor stuff ? We really appreciate it, but this is definitely not our cup of tea."


    " I am sorry, but we aren''t doing this because of honorifics rather we are doing this because of our respect towards you and lady Emma, without your valiant efforts, 250 years ago ,we definitely wouldn''t be here. So, please accept our respect. " Paul said as he looked down at the floor while he was still bending a little.


    " HaHaHa .


    You are definitely like your great great grandfather and your great grandfather and your grandfather and your grandfather''s son, " Gilbert said aloud with a tone with which it was apparent that he was happy that Paul ''s personality is similar to his ancestors.


    " Oh please stop it dear, you are making me feel old now," the noble lady, Emma said.


    " it''s making me feel old too, can''t disagree with you there. It still feels as if it was just yesterday when I and your great great grandfather cleared our first dungeon together, and you know his father was really angry at me, because his wasn''t letting him to join us so I kidnapped him and took him with me to the dungeon. " Gilbert said.


    " I can definitely say that my great great grandfather is really happy at the moment after hearing you that you still love him and miss him, " Paul said.


    " Hope so," Gilbert said while looking at the sky.


    Gilbert then looked at Paul and said with serious tone " let''s wake him up. "


    They went inside the manor through the front door and straight away headed towards the dungeon.


    The holy swordsmen were following them and the general was the one who lead the way.


    Just like the exterior the the interior of the mansion was majestic, but none of them were interested in this building rather the only thing on their mind was Dante.


    They soon reached a room which was locked and there was an orb floating in front of that room. general opened that door by placing his hands on that orb and channeling his aura, the only things present in that room were stairs, leading down. The group continued their walk and went straight down the stairs. The stairs opened to a passage which looked similar ,in construct, to the upper house but as they continued to walk the lavish walls soon came to an end and what now had replaced them were dark dirty cream coloured walls, for they had finally reached the dungeon.


    The atmosphere in the dungeon was really gloomy and it could be said similar to the dungeons shown in a horror movie. There were no windows, the only things which illuminated the room were candles, which were placed in a special holding place made on the walls with a constant distance inbetween.


    The dungeon might have started but the passage was yet to come to an end. The passage was quite small, it was big enough for only two people to walk at a time , but instead they were walking in a single line as just at the start of the dungeon there were a stationed troop here on the right side of the passage.


    The troop had worn a complete armour and even his face was covered by a helmet, the armour was black in colour and was giving off a weird aura.


    As they walked past the troop Gilbert''s and Emma''s sight fell upon that troop because of that weird aura. The aura was quite weak and was not demonic even though it was demonic, it was something they had never sensed before but the aura was really faint and only a person at their strength would be able to notice it and because of all these new magiconoligies which are being discovered almost everyday they thought that this must be some kind of new magiconoligical armour, therefore they did give a look to the troop when they passed it but they never took him seriously.


    The passage was quite long and there were many magiconoligical devices fit in that tunnel for security, not only that there were also some old age security ways and that were the magic circles, which were made by the head court mage himself.


    As they continued their walk the tunnel became even gloomier and soon the tunnel came to an end and the conjested passage was soon replaced by quite a huge hall but it wasn''t different from the passage in terms of construct. It was still lit by candles and there was no window.


    Gilbert and Emma looked around and they could see two cells at front corners and two at the back corners, and in front of each cell there were guards standing at quite distance away from the cell door as they weren''t allowed to get near the cell doors.


    The cell doors were actually made up of a special magic , destructive in nature, which would kill anyone without the right to enter or leave the cell. These were special cells were only used to keep some important people like a rebel nobel, a corrupted priests of the church and once they had even put the adopted son of the Pope of the church.


    The group started walking towards the cell which was at the front right corner, and as they walked Emma''s and Gilbert''s eyes fell upon the axe and an anvil which were kept at the middle, both of them were turned all dark red because of the frozen blood upon them, but what they saw after it made them feel quite uneasy.


    There were 3 more guards standing right beside the axe. Well, seeing the such number of guards in such places usually wouldn''t be abnormal but what caught their attention was that there was only one guard in front of the tunnel and there are 10 guards here plus 2 at the end of the passage.


    They found it quite abnormal but it soon faded away as both of them came to a conclusion that that guy must have been someone who was sent to bring down the food. Gilbert and Emma both exchanged glances and continued on their path.


    After they reached that cell, the general went ahead and he drew out his sword and raised it in front of the cell door, the runes on the sword glow a little and the defense system of the cell went offline as the door opened by itself.


    The door opened slowly and as it opened it made the voices which were similar to the ones produced when a very old and heavy steel door is opened after a long time.


    The door slowly opened and as it opened a foul smell came from inside. From inside the cell was just horrible, there were white bones lying in one corner and in the other corner there were excrete of the previous prisoners.


    At the centre of the cell there was a big hard stone slab which was apparently the bed for the prisoners, not only that, this wasn''t a normal stone, it was modified by magicians and it had a debuff and painful effect upon the prisoner so that they wouldnt be able to even think about escaping.


    On the top of this so called bed there was a naked person sitting. Due to the darkness inside the cell they weren''t able to clearly see that guy who sitting there. The king stood back and with him the holyswordsmen stood back too while the general, Gilbert and Emma went ahead inside the cell.


    Emma raised her hand and a ball of light came out of her hand which illuminated the entire room. The light fell upon that guy and they could see his back as his back was towards them, but there was something awfully wrong.


    There were marks of blood on his body and those marks resembled a hand and there if one see his back care full then there was steep soon like thing coming out from both the sides of his stomach though one stone was much higher than the other, and not only that, that guy had blonde hair !


    Sensing that something was off, the general approached that guy and kept his hand on his shoulder and turned him towards them but something awful happened.


    That guy''s body broke from the middle and the upper part of his body fell down on the floor.


    That guy had quite long blonde hair, blue eyes and a pale skin. His expression was frozen and was what a normal person always have, devoid of any pain, meaning that his death was a quick one. Blood flowed out of that open area along with intestines and other organs.
