《TrailBlazer》 Chapter 1 – Shi Song The ancient times, 1900, a fierce war between the Qiya empire and the Yuehan empire. It brought devastation and destruction upon Earth. It was before that unavoidable war that there existed countless cultivators, not just humans, and all of different ranks and strengths. Although the Qiya empire triumphed in the end, with all the imperial members deceased and cultivation techniques lost, was it truly a victory? ¡ ¡°Shi song, how much did you get again? 13/30? Haha, you only completed 2 out of 5 questions! Pay up!¡±, Ku hai mocked Shi song like always. Shi song was just one of Ku hai¡¯s victims in Bei Guang sect school. (Literally Bei Guang highschool) ¡®Dang it!¡¯ Shi song cursed in his heart. He would always bet with Ku hai when it came to the examinations. He was always forced by Ku hai and the others to bet in their examinations even though he knew he would lose. Taking out 15 dollars, he sighed inwardly. That was half of his weekly allowance!. Shi song continued to get bullied by Ku hai and his gang. Not only was he weak and his mind slow, his skin colour was also that of a light brown, an obvious difference from his white-skinned classmates! Furthermore, the school he is in is Bei Guang Sect school, one of the worst schools in the entire Qiya Empire. There will definitely be bullies in these types of schools! Shi song¡¯s physique was extremely weak, resulting in him getting sick all the time. This led to him having no knowledge of the outside world as he was always kept at home, wasting his youth away. Shi song has been like this since he was born, so it wasn¡¯t his fault. ¡ In every class, Shi song tried his best to listen, but he never understood anything. Especially in Math and Chinese class, Shi song always had a blank look on his face. ¡°Class, who wants to solve this question? Alright, Shi Song, Come here.¡± ¡®Are you picking om me? How do you think I know how to solve?¡¯ Shi song thought in his heart. ¡°Ok¡± Shi song stepped out to the front of the class. ¡®5x cube divided by 28x square plus 23xy = 36x?¡¯ Shi song stared blankly. This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. ¡°Shi song what¡¯s wrong? Can¡¯t solve anything like always? Haha!¡± Ku hai¡¯s voice ran out, mocking Shi song. Shi song hated the subjects the school taught. It always followed the same order, making it even worse. First was technological studies which was the most important due to the extremely advanced world he lived in, followed by Arithmetic and lastly, historical culture studies. Not only did Shi song not like the subjects, he also had a rather slow mind with almost no general knowledge despite his age of 13. These factors did not put Shi song in his teachers¡¯ good side, allowing people like Ku Hai to bully him without teachers caring. Arithmetic dragged on and when it finally ended, Shi song heaved a sigh of relief. However, it was now the historical culture studies, a subject he hated and dreaded the most. Partially because the teacher always picked on him. ¡°Urghhh¡± Shi song whined. The door to the classroom opened. Instead of the usual teacher, an old amiable-looking man with an walked in, his head littered with white hair. He glanced once at Shi Song before his face into a slight smile. Looking away, he then started talking about the history of the Qiya empire. What the amiable old man said immediately aroused Shi song¡¯s attention. ¡°There used to be countless deities and gods, far stronger and wiser than humans these days. Despite the genetic modifications, we can never reach the same level of strength or even knowledge as them.¡± ¡°This is because genetic modifications only change us externally. The ancestors of Qiya empire used to use the so-called ¡®Cultivation techniques¡¯ to train their strength and broaden their knowledge.¡± The amiable old man ranted on and on about the Qiya empire¡¯s past, and with each passing minute, Shi song¡¯s attention was more and more engaged. All of these facts fascinated Shi song, like how the ancestors of Qiya empire could fly throughout the entire planet. The strongest ones could even destroy a Cosmic star, the largest celestial universe body! Although Shi song did not pay much attention during his technological studies classes, he had learnt that there are many celestial universe bodies, with the celestial universe body the Qiya empire is located on the 3rd biggest, called the Dark horizons, as this is the largest size a rotating celestial universe body can get, with day and night in cycle! However, the next thing the amiable old man stated immediately ¡°There are many remnants of the war between the Qiya empire and Yuehan empire left in the modern world, with the most recently discovered battleground on Silversnow mountain. These remnants are extremely dangerous, with a 99.99% mortality rate, which is why there has not been much progress in uncovering the true secrets of the Qiya empire.¡± ¡°In the centre of Silversnow mountain is a valley that leads straight to the battleground. Due to the thousands of years that have past since the war, a layer of earth has formed over the battleground, with the valley the only entrance. Perhaps we could have learnt some secrets if the explorers who went down did not disappear without a trace.¡± The amiable old man continued on and on, until he finally ended, saying, ¡°It doesn¡¯t matter how much you can control and change time. As long as your perception of time changes, you can achieve a lot more.¡± That was when the bell rang and the 3-hour session for historical culture studies ended and the students were already ready to go back to their homes. Chapter 2 - Silversnow Mountain There was a flame burning in Shi song¡¯s eyes, a desire to explore the battleground between gods and legends. This was an innate desire which stemmed down to the instinct of every mortal, and even every weak and lowly beast. ¡°Since I have so much free time every day, I might as well go check it out.¡± Shi song thought. Shi song only had his father, Shi wei, left. His mother, Li Biyu, disappeared when he was at the age of 3. Shi wei doted on Shi song a lot, as Shi song was his only child. Shi song had a lot of freedom, and his father did not force him to do anything he disliked. Shi song could tell that his father and mother loved each other a lot. Till this day, he never understood why his mother would want to leave his father. Although Shi wei could not make much money and was poor, Shi song never blamed his father. In fact, Shi song sometimes blamed himself for being a useless son, being neither smart nor hardworking. Shi song knew that his father worked very hard every day in order to give him a comfortable life, which is why he always wanted to find ways to make his father¡¯s life easier. ¡ After Shi song reached home, he left his belongings behind. When his father saw him leaving, he asked, ¡°Where are you going?¡±. Shi song then told his father about his plan to explore Silversnow mountain, which his father allows, which he always does. Shi song immediately headed off for Silversnow mountain. Due to the extremely advanced technology, all Shi song needed to take was 5 minutes to traverse the 7-mile distance between his house and Silversnow mountain. During the travel on the Rapid Transition System, it was so fast that Shi song could not see the large and everlasting Silversnow mountain clearly. Only after getting off did he see the enormous and wide mountain, with some slopes as steep as the straight walls of a building in the city. Shi song decided to find his own path up Silversnow mountain. The reason he came here was not to go to the peak and find the Silversnow valley, but to explore around the mountain instead. He was not willing to reach the peak, for fear of risking his life from the many dangers present. Due to his weak physique and his lack of strength, Shi song decided to follow the slope with the most gentle incline. He started with a slow pace, looking around and exploring along the way. The scenery here was beautiful, with luscious green trees and flowing rivers, Shi song felt incredibly peaceful. Since young, he did not have that many chances to be this attuned to nature. The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement. Shi song closed his eyes as he focused on the radiating heat of the sun, felt the gentle and delicate touch of the wind on his skin. He started to discover new physical sensations of his body that he had never felt before. His mind was calm as he listened to the flowing water. He grew more aware of his entire body, every limb, every finger, every toe. The wind endlessly cutting through his hair. ¡°So this is how wonderful the 6th sense is¡¡±. Just as Shi song was lost in his thoughts, ¡°Plop!¡±. An abnormal wave of sound from a puddle of water woke Shi song up from this special state and forget about everything he just experienced. The criteria to embark on the first step of cultivation is to awaken up one¡¯s 6th sense! Only when one has awoken up his 6th sense will one be able to sense the true profound secrets of the world. This was why nobody has been able to embark on the path of cultivation since the war, as awakening the 6th sense without any guidance was far too difficult! Shi song was extremely lucky, and was this close to doing so, but he was distracted just a second before he completed his awakening! The wind around Silversnow mountain seemed to hum a melody of sadness, as if to grieve this loss. ¡°Why does my mind feel so clear?¡± Shi song realized that his senses were much clearer and his thoughts were faster. It was as if he had just woken up from a nap during a very tiring day. All of the things Shi song was experiencing was the result of the strengthening of all his 5 senses. ¡°Plop! Plop! Splash!¡±. Shi song used his strengthened sense of hearing and followed the sounds until he reached the source producing all these weird splashes. Shi song stared blankly. There was a fish in a puddle of water that was almost going to dry out under the hot sun. The fish kept squirming around, trying its best to keep its gills under the water, which was considerably hard seeing how the fish was 1.5 times the size of the amount of water. Shi song was not going to question how the fish even got there, as there would be no use doing so. Seeing how the fish was struggling to survive, Shi song was enlightened. ¡°Life and death are interconnected. Without death, there will no longer be life. Without life, there will be no deaths. Life and death are an endless cycle, one that is endless. Little buddy, for us to cross paths is fate. I shall allow you to live longer!¡±. Saying that, Shi song took out his water bottle and placed the fish within. ¡°Since I found this fish near the battleground between the Qiya Empire and the Yuehan empire, I will name it Yue ya.¡± Shi song mused to himself. A boy dressed in blue, holding a bottle containing a fish that was yellowish red like that of a flame, slowly but steadily hiked up the mountain. His eyes seemed to radiate the beauty of nature. Chapter 3 - Yinjin Energy Shi Song continued up Silversnow mountain, discovering and experimenting the new, yet special changes in his body. He realized that he had much more awareness and control over his body. It was like his mind was spread throughout every nook and cranny, as if his soul was dispersed in his blood. "The feeling of control is simply wonderful and mysterious. " Shi Song thought. Suddenly, Shi Song stopped in his tracks. "I have never seemed to notice this change before, but it seems that when I hike up Silversnow mountain, I seem to have more energy and feel much stronger and energetic than before I started? There seems to be some sort of outside source which is giving me more energy.". Indeed, Shi Song was right. Due to his strengthened senses, he could now tell that there was a peculiar, yet powerful type of energy getting absorbed by his body. In the path of cultivation, the 6th sense is also referred to as the seed, for only when the seed has sprouted and the 6th sense developed would one truly have embarked on the path of cultivation. Although Shi Song could not completely awaken and develop his 6th sense and his soul could not transcend that fine line between Mortal and Cultivator, his body''s constitution still changed drastically, allowing it to automatically but passively absorb this peculiar and powerful energy. The 6th sense, the starting point for the path of cultivation, allows one to sense and control the natural energy of the Heavens and Earth. Due to Silversnow mountain being a battleground remnant between the cultivator ancestors, the energy of the Heavens and Earth still lingers in the area. Although it is faint, it is far thicker and denser than the areas normally inhabited by humans. All of these factors allowed Shi song''s body to be able to absorb the leftover Heaven and Earth energy on Silversnow mountain. The Heaven and Earth energy when absorbed by the body, would be converted into a special form of energy that can be used to transform and strengthen the body. This special strengthening energy is called the Yinjin energy. All living beings contain a small amount of Yinjin energy. This is because when the fetus is developing, a small amount of Yinjin energy will enter the fetus, allowing it to be strengthened. As the living being ages, the Yinjin energy will slowly be used up, including both beasts and humans. This was why the younger generation had far more energy than the older generation! If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation. ... As Shi Song realized that his body was getting stronger, he had the sudden impulse to focus all his attention in his bloodstream. Following his natural instincts, Shi Song directed his attention - his mind''s natural sense which is also known as the soul''s sense, into his bloodstream. He did not know how he managed to do it, but now, it felt as if he was part of the bloodstream, as if he was a red blood cell. There, he discovered what the mysterious and powerful energy was. There was a yellowish-white, gas-like substance coursing through his veins. Some of it exited out of the bloodstream into his body, getting rapidly absorbed by his starving cells. Shi song was amazed by what he found. This yellowish-white gas in his blood was actually that peculiar yet powerful energy strengthening his body. Although this yellowish-white gas looked plain and meagre, it was indeed the energy allowing for Shi Song''s body strength to improve by leaps and bounds and his constitution to change drastically. "Perhaps this was how the ancestors cultivated in the past?" Shi Song wondered. Shi Song''s guess was extremely close to being correct. In the cultivation era, the ancestors would use this Yinjin energy to train their bodies, as the Yinjin energy allows for the reformation and strengthening of their body cells. The only thing different would be that the ancestors could control and actively absorb the Heaven and Earth energy to convert it, but Shi Song could only passively absorb the Heaven and Earth energy as he has yet to even awaken his 6th sense, so why would he be able to even actively absorb the Heaven and Earth energy on his own will, much less control the Heaven and Earth energy, birthed from the Heavens and the Cosmos? Shi Song controlled his Soul''s sense and followed up the stream of Yinjin yellowish-white energy. He wanted to find the source of this energy, or how it enters the body and how it is converted. All that Shi Song currently knew was that this Yinjin energy was actually converted from another type of energy as he could not sense this yellowish-white energy anywhere else. As Shi Song''s Soul''s sense slowly approached the source, he realized that the Yinjin energy was getting thicker and denser. Just as the Yinjin energy''s density skyrocketed and his Soul''s sense was about to reach the source of Yinjin energy, he suddenly felt an excruciating, sharp, ringing pain in his head. He felt like there was a sword stabbing into the sides of his head from the inside, along with bells ringing so loudly, they were causing the surrounding flesh to throb. "Shi Song''s vision disappeared and was soon replaced by total darkness, as he lost any feeling and connection with reality. His body rolled down the mountain, with a water bottle containing a fish rolling along. Chapter 4 - Hospitalized chapter 4 - Hospitalized Shi Song woke up in a slick, clean room. He looked around, and saw the walls and floor and ceiling were all of the same creamy white colour. The smell of detergent was apparent. "Hospital." Shi Song mumbled to himself. He had been here way too many times as a child and could recognise the place right away. As Shi Song tried to get up, that splitting headache acted up again, causing Shi Song to immediately fall back onto the hospital bed. However, since he had experienced this incredible pain before, he did not faint like the previous time. "Empty..." Shi Song mumbled as he realized that there was a feeling that something was missing inside his mind. It was as if his head was hollow, and he could not feel anything inside his head. This kind of feeling was very uncomfortable and it made Shi Song wish that he actually fainted. The door to the hospital room opened and Shi Song''s father, Shi Wei, walked in. "Father, how did you find me?" Shi Song inquired. All he could remember before he fainted was that he went to Silversnow mountain and had started climbing up for about 30 minutes before everything went dark. "You did not come home even though it was late at night, so I went to Silversnow mountain to search for you." Shi Song''s father explained. He told Shi Song about how he found Shi Song unconscious at the bottom of the mountain, with a water bottle containing a fish in it and decided to bring it along when he carried Shi Song to the Hospital. "How are you feeling now? Do you feel unwell?" Shi Song could sense the worry and concern in his Father''s voice. He had a feeling that, perhaps in the entire world, only his Father truly cared about him, allowing his will and determination for wanting to improve his Father''s life getting strengthened. "Don''t worry, I feel much better now. Wait, How long have I been unconscious for?" "3 days." Shi Wei replied. Upon hearing that, Shi Song almost fainted again. 1 night in the hospital would cost 1500 yuan, which is the form of currency used in the Qiya Empire, even in the cheapest room and after all the subsidies. 3 nights would cost 4500 yuan! Shi Song''s father only earned 300 yuan a month, which barely allowed his family to eat , sleep and drink properly! How long would it take for Shi Song''s father to completely pay the 4500 yuan!Enjoying this book? Seek out the original to ensure the author gets credit. Shi Song also felt that it was quite suprising that the hospital actually allowed him and his father in, considering that the colour they are of is widely discriminated against. ... Although Shi Song wanted to get out of the hospital as quickly as possible to avoid more fees being charged onto him, he still had to solve and get rid of this uncomfortable, empty feeling in his head. Shi Song knew that this was somehow connected to what he did before he fainted. Thinking back to what he had done before he fainted, Shi Song remembered the yellowish-white Yinjin energy he found in his body and how he tried to find the source if the Yinjin energy. However, before he could find out what the source was, he suddenly felt a splitting pain in his head, causing him to be unable to use his Spiritual Sense.(Changing Soul''s Sense to Spritual Sense) "That''s right! I seem to have overexerted this Spiritual Sense when trying to explore my body, which is why I now have this empty feeling in my head!" Shi Song exclaimed. "Now how do I replenish this Spiritual Sense?" Shi Song wondered. Sleep? Maybe. Exercise? Probably not... "Shi Song, I bought you some breakfast and a cup of coffee. Eat up." Shi wei opened the hospital door and walked into the room. "Coffee?" Shi Song pondered. Inhaling the aroma of the fresh cup of coffee, Shi Song felt that it might perhaps work. Takinh a small sip of coffee, he felt an invinsible yet warm and comfortable strand of energy flowing into his empty head, filling up his mind. It was wonderfully nourishing, and the more of it that he drank, the weaker the feeling of emptiness in his mind. "Now that I am more or less ready to go, I should wait for a while more before trying to get discharged. What a pity, all this couod have happened at home and we wouldn''t need to pay this scam..." Shi Song thought. Although he was ready to go, he wanted to ''rest'' a while more so that it would not seem suspicious. ... Night, the blazing Solar Sun has sunk beyong the horizons. Shi Song proved to his Father that he was now alright after a good long ''rest''. Settling the hospital fees and charges and asking for an installment to pay 200 yuan a month. After drying hid savings, Shi Wei only had to pay 2000 yuan left, which is to be paid over 10 months. On the way home, Shi Song found out that the 3 day coma he was in actually strengthened his body again, though not as much as when he was on Silversnow mountain. The moment Shi Song left the hospital, he immediately knew why it was so expensive and charged 1500 yuan for every night. It was because that Heaven and Earth energy was denser inside the hospital than the surrounding areas! "This special type of energy has to be related to the Yellowish-white energy I found in my body" Shi Song pondered. Although he knew that these 2 types of energies existed he still does not know the names of these energies! The denser Heaven and Earth energy, the larger the amount of Yinjin energy converted. Deciding not to try to find the source of the Yinjin yellowish-white energy, Shi Song quickly followed Shi Wei back to their house. Perhaps with his strengthened 5 senses and the Yinjin energy strengthening his body, Shi Song would be able to find out the secrets of why his mother, Li biyu, disappeared. More importantly, the mysteries in his house he has never discovered before... Chapter 5 - Irreversible Ending Shi Song followed behind Shi Wei and opened the door of the house. After entering it, Shi Song sat down on the nearest chair as he was quite exhausted after that long walk back from the hospital. Even with his Yinjin energy, he still felt drained. This was when he thought of his father. Without the Yinjin energy strengthening his father''s body, Shi Song wondered how exhausted his father would be. Furthermore, Shi Wei had to carry Shi Song from Silversnow mountain to the hospital! What Shi Song forgot was that before Shi Wei paid for his hospital fees, he had some money left to ride the Rapid Transition System. The only reason they walked back from the hospital was because they had almost no money left! Because Shi Wei had a low income, their house was very small compared to the average sized houses found everywhere. However, their house did have a basement, which wasn''t that special as their neighbourhood, Luon neighbourhood, was full of poor people. This led to the emperor of Qiya Dynasty not caring about them. With the little amount of money they had, the houses could not be built upwards due to the expenses, which was why basements were created. Rather small ones that is. ... "What happened at Silversnow mountain which caused you to fall into a 3 day coma like that?" Shi Wei asked. Thinking that it would not be a good idea to speak of what truly happened, Shi Song quickly thought of a reply which could perfectly answer his Father''s question without raising any suspicion. "I was forced to hike up the mountain by my classmates as I lost a bet for the test. We had wanted to explore the mountain as we heard that there was something paranormal happening on it. That was when my old illness acted up and I fainted." Shi Song told his Father. "Your old illness acted up again? Alright, for this week, you are not allowed to go out of the house anymore for the week. You also don''t have to go to school. Do you understand?" Shi Wei sternly said. "What? Why?" Shi Song replied. He thought that his reply was quite smart, until he realized how much trouble it brought him. He had wanted to return back to Silversnow mountain in order for him to trace the source of the Yellowish-white Yinjin energy as the normal density of Heaven and Earth energy in his neighbourhood only allowed for very little conversion of Yinjin energy, so much so that it was almost invisible. "But..." Shi Song tried to refute Shi Wei''s words, but it only made it worse. "No ''buts''. You are to stay at home for the rest of the week unless I give you the permission to leave. Go to the basement now until you know what you have done wrong!" Shi Wei bellowed while staring Shi Song in the eyes. Swallowing up his anger, Shi Song turned and left for the basement. He slammed the door behind him and even locked it before walking down the stairs leading to the basement room. "Damn my Father, He is so unreasonable!" Shi Song released his frustration as he pounced onto the bed in the basement room. Unbeknownst to him, Shi Wei stared blankly at the basement door, his eyes filled with worry and concern. "This is the first time we truly had a dispute like that." Shi Wei sighed. "But I know that faint aura radiating from his body. I cannot be wrong... So familiar.. Just like hers before they took her... I hope Shi Song would not turn out the same..." ... After fully giving vent to his frustrations, Shi Song felt suspicious about why his father grounded him in the basement instead of the usual bedroom whenever he did something wrong. Looking around, he felt that the basement was quite plain and desolate with the colour grey spreaded all over the room. "I might as well explore the room to look for something that can entertain me in the meanwhile." Shi Song decided. After looking around, Shi Song went to the nearest cabinet and started flipping through its contents. The author''s narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. Shi Song soon found a photo album within all the other useless items. It was one of those old and traditional ones, with the pictures printed on paper with ink instead of projecting it onto the surrounding air. "So this was how my mother looked like. Haha." Shi Song sighed. His mother, Li biyu, had disappeared when he was only 3, so he had almost no memories of him and his mother at all. Seeing how happy his Father and Mother were when together, he yet again wondered why Biyu would leave Shi Wei and disappear. "Oh, looks like my mother was a technologist!" Shi Song gasped. Seeing how his Mother was dressed in that smart white coat, as well as some of the recognisable apparatus he learnt in school, Shi Song deduced that his Mother''s job was a technologist, which was one of the more valued and higher end jobs. A technologist would try to advance the current technology available to mankind, allowing mankind to grow and prosper. After flipping through the photo album and finding nothing but unimportant everyday photos, Shi Song combed through the second cabinets contents. "Hm? This object seems peculiar..." Shi Song looked at the ancient, dusty book in his hands. Blowing off the dust on the cover, Shi Song judged that the book was really old, almost twice as old as he was! There was a faint, yet special sort of mysterious aura that was attracting Shi Song. Flipping the cover, Shi Song started reading the contents found in the book. Looking at the first page, Shi Song saw a line of characters, characters of a language he did not understand. ¡°This...¡± as Shi Song stared at the entire page of those mysterious characters, he felt an entire wave of information rushing into his mind. His mind was like the beach, with wave after wave of information rushing and bashing against it. Shi Song realized that his mind was being filled with endless cultivation facts and techniques, as well as the history of cultivation. However, Shi Song¡¯s mind, as well as his cultivation level was far too weak, and although he could understand the endless waves of information, he could not remember it. Accompanying the monstrous wave of information was a gentle and feminine voice, one that Shi Song was familiar with, one that he had heard before when he was very young. ¡°Shi Song, listen well. They are a lot of reasons why I left you and your father, and I need you to trust me, to commit all of the words you hear to memory. The ancient cultivation methods are not lost at all. For you to be able to hear this message is prove that you have awakened your sixth sense. You have to work hard, and continue along this path. There is no other way to turn back, for you have to be prepared for them. They know that you have embarked on the path of cultivation, and will do anything they can to stop you. Leave this place, along with all my research and memories with you. Hopefully, you will be able to reunite our entire family as a whole.¡± Shi Song could hear the gentle voice, filled with mourning and grief, ending with a frustrated sigh at the end¡ BOOM Explosions rang out as they pulled Shi Song out of that ephemeral state. Opening his eyes, he felt an incredible sense of danger. Although he wanted to solve the mysteries behind the ancient book as well as his confusion, his senses were screaming at him to escape as fast as possible. ¡°Father!¡± Shi Song shouted as he rushed up the stairs, slamming the door wide open, the previous frustration and anger he towards his Father completely gone There, he saw Shi Wei, eyes wide open as blood oozed out of his seven orifices. Shi Song saw a blade covered with magical incantations etched in his Father¡¯s body, making it seem like the weapon of the heavens. The moment Shi Wei saw Shi Song, his eyes flickered with anxiousness and worry. He mustered all his might as he pointed behind Shi Song, voice filled with anger as he tried to warn Shi Song, but all that came out was a gasp. Shi Wei¡¯s tears were at the corner of his eyes as he watched Shi Song getting beheaded at the neck, the blood trailing from the open wound as the severed head rolled towards Shi Wei. ¡°I am sorry...¡± Shi Wei muttered under his breath as his life flickered on its end. He felt incredible guilt, for failing his beloved wife¡¯s last request, as well as his selfishness that had caused his precious son¡¯s death. All he wanted was for his son to become a strong cultivator, strong enough to bring back his wife...
