《Left Behind In Another World》 Prologue: And so it begins I Shioya Yuki hate myself. For the past few weeks I¡¯ve been getting bullied at school. I can¡¯t really blame the bullies because i have never stood up for myself. It is also almost time for finals, so it might just be them taking out their stress on me. Its basically the usual kind of bullying. The guys in my class ridicule me and I get into fights a lot. Ah, though when I say I get into fights its only them doing the hitting and me getting hit. The rest of the class turns a blind eye to it. Aha, a really cliche kind of bullying. I am not totally alone though. My two childhood friends and my sister try to stop it, but it just ends up getting worse. They can¡¯t be blamed though, as they are only trying to help. The only one at fault here in me. Even though I have to go through this everyday, I don¡¯t fight back. I guess i¡¯m just a pushover. I¡¯m sitting in my desk when my childhood friend, Akita Jun grabs me from behind. [O-oi, what are you doing?!] (Shioya) [Let¡¯s go home together!] (Jun) [Sure, but why did you suddenly grab my neck?] (Shioya) [That¡¯s just what close friends do. Wai- wait don¡¯t tell me you want to go further?!] (Jun) [No!] (Shioya) After I screamed that some people in the classroom started staring at me. I look back and saw Jun trying to hold in his laughter. A vein popped on my forehead. On our way out of the school, some people come towards us. I recognize them immediately. They were the ones bullying me. Their leader, Kazuya smiled at me. [Shioya, we need money for the arcade. Lend us some] (Kazuya) Even though Jun was right beside me, they didn¡¯t care. At the gate of the school, we met up with my second childhood friend Chino Yukari and my twin sister Miki. We had to take the train and the earlier fight had delayed us a bit so we all had to run to the train station. We got there one minute before the train left, so just barely safe. Suddenly there was a loud voice talking through the speakers [THE TRAIN WILL HAVE TO STOP MOMENTARILY]. The train stopped. [The announcer didn¡¯t even tell us why] -Jun. Jun was awake now. Chapter 1: Summoned (Juns POV) As I awoke, there was a strange scenery around me. By the way, I was lying on the floor [Where is this?] (Jun) [U-uhh¡­] (Yukari) I turned to my side and saw Yukari waking up. There was a bit of drool on her mouth. She looked cute. She had a reserved feel to her and I couldn¡¯t really tell her age range. The boy, however looked young¡­.and handsome. He looked about the same age as us and had blond hair with streaks of red. He had a slender build, but not one so that he looked weak. He also had a sword attached to his side. In summary, he looked cool. [Greetings. My name is Arich Lu Ferke. I try to crawl away, but I can¡¯t. That thing is too heavy. I look away from my leg. Its gone. Not the creature, but my leg. [AHHHH!] (Yuki) That monster has moved from one leg, to another one. And then an arm. And then the other. It hurts, but what can I do? I¡¯m powerless. I always have been. I¡¯m just a pushover. I am not even trying to get away anymore. [H E L P M E] (Yuki) Ah, I blacked out again. Chapter 2: Another World (Part 2) Ah, it feels nice to be dead. It¡¯s quiet. I can hear only the sound of my breathing. ¡­. Breathing? I shouldn¡¯t be able to hear. But I can¡¯t be alive. Not after that. I opened my eyes. [Am I really alive? Or is this just what the afterlife looks like? No one in their right mind would eat this. The trees look strange too. They have weird shapes. There¡¯s also the fact that I was attacked by a monster. I could have said it was an animal, but it looked to strange to be just an animal. It had long and sharp protruding teeth. The monster just took the attack then hit her like it was brushing off an insect. I ran towards Axilia. I got up and walked towards the monster. I was angry. [W-what are you doing? You¡¯re going to get yourself killed!] (Axilia) [I know. And I barely even know you. But how can I be called I man if I just get killed without doing anything. I can¡¯t even run away. I¡¯ve tried. This thing is just too powerful. It looked terrifying but like I said, I can¡¯t be called a man if I do nothing. I tried punching and kicking it but it just stood there and looked at me like it was toying with me. After a few rounds of punching and kicking, it finally moved and grabbed my leg. It tore it off. It tore my leg off again. The pain is too much. My consciousness starts to fade away. I can hear Axilia screaming my name. Then suddenly, loud and clear, I hear a voice. [Would you like to use ¡®Destruction¡¯?] ??? YES/NO Destruction? What is that? And that voice in my head. It spoke to me before. {HEY! What is destruction?!] (Yuki) I scream this in my mind. [Destruction: Calamity magic. ATK 1500. Destroys anything and everything in its path. Uses 1000 MP. I start coughing up blood. I also got hit on my stomach. Blood is everywhere. From the monster, Axilia and I. Everything is damaged. This one beautiful forest is now nowhere to be seen. I look over. Just as we think we¡¯ve lost the demon, we see her fly over her heads and land in front of us. [Where do you think you¡¯re going?] (demon) Everyone, but me pulls out a weapon, ready to fight. [Hey you! You seem like you¡¯re gonna be useless, so you can just hang out in the back.] (Luka) [...] (Yuki) I step back, as Luka instructed and decided to just watch from the back. Maria uses her staff and casts some kind of spell on the demon, but it doesn¡¯t work and the demon just lunges at her. Luka, wielding a spear moves in front of Maria to protect her, but his spear is immediately broken in half. [What the hell...Why is she so strong?] (Luka) [D-Demons are supposed to be that strong...] (Maria) Luka clicks his tongue and pulls out daggers, which he throws at the demon. [Arghh!] (demon) [That worked!] (Aster) [Just kidding! Did you think those toothpicks would work on me? Me? The eighth demon commander, Zyre Ylvis? Me? That¡¯s hilarious~] (Zyre) [E-eighth demon commander?] (Aster) Aster shivers as he says this. Judging by everyone¡¯s reactions, it seems like demons, let alone demon commanders, are a really big deal. [Oh~ Did that instill some fear into you?] (Zyre) [Shit. There¡¯s no way we can win now!] (Luka) [Calm down¡­ Oh! Remember Axi¡¯s a swordsmanship prodigy. Maybe she¡¯ll have better luc-] (Haku) Right before Haku could finish his sentence, Axilia leaps into the air, holding a sword in each hand, and thrusts them at the demon, Zyre. [Die.] (Axilia) Both of the swords graze Zyre, leaving behind blood on the blades, showing that she, in fact, can be hurt by weapons. [Khh!] (Zyre) [I thought our weapons were toothpicks to you?] (Axilia) [I have to commend you on being able to pierce my skin, but in case you forgot, all demons have the ability to heal themselves~] (Zyre) As Zyre says that, she lifts her hand and points it at Axilia, who¡¯s stood in front of us, trying to shield us, and then mutters something. A red light gathers at her fingertips until it becomes as big as a baseball, before she finally says something loud enough for all of us to hear. [What was it that you said before? Oh yeah. Die~] (Zyre) She fires her magic, and as soon as it leaves her hand, it grows in size, and then hits all of us. Maria lets out her small voice as soon as she¡¯s hit and I feel a faint throbbing in my left arm. [Should I just kill all of you now, or should I torture you slowly? How about I kill you first, little blonde girl?] (Zyre) Zyre grabs Axilia by her hair and tugs on it, making Axilia clearly uncomfortable. [Hey, you idiotic woman, can you please stop that?] (Yuki) [What did you just say?] (Zyre) Zyre, the woman (demon?) with the happy-go-lucky personality, suddenly looks extremely angry because of my comment. If only I could control my mouth¡­ [You lowly human, who do you think you¡¯re talking to?] (Zyre) [I think I made that pretty clear. You¡¯re an idiotic woman.] (Yuki) [Ha. It seems like I¡¯ll have to kill you first instead. I¡¯m going to make you regret ever talking to me like that~] (Zyre) [Whaat. You? I¡¯d like to see you try.] (Yuki) Zyre runs towards me, with her once normal-looking fingernails as claws. She swipes her hand at me, trying to rob me of my eye, but I dodge it swiftly, without knowing how I did it myself. Again and again, she lunges herself towards me, but in turn, I dodge every strike. [Y-you¡¯re pretty good for a human, but don¡¯t think that¡¯s all that it¡¯s gonna take to defeat me.] (Zyre) Zyre smiles at me and then mutters something, which I assume is another spell. [Get ready to die~] (Zyre) [Let¡¯s see, what was it again?] (Yuki) I rack my brain for the thing I did earlier in the forest that killed the monster. Though that magic seems a bit too large scale as we¡¯re in a dungeon and the rocks overhead might fall and kill us, I don¡¯t know any other magic and it doesn¡¯t seem like we¡¯d get out alive if I don¡¯t use it. [Why isn¡¯t my magic hitting you? Don¡¯t dodge dammit!] (Zyre) [You don¡¯t seem to be as calm as before, is it because of a human like me? I thought demons were supposed to be a big deal.] (Yuki) [Y-you bastard¡­] (Zyre) [W-what¡¯s with him? I thought he was weak!] (Luka) [It¡¯s your *pant* fault for assuming such things before even seeing him fight.] (Axilia) [Are you okay? You seem out of breath¡­] (Aster) [Speak for yourself. Another prompt from the mysterious voice comes and I say YES. [It¡¯s time to DIE!] (Zyre) At the same time Zyre¡¯s magic is activated, I put my hand in front of me, open my palm and immediately hear the loud noise that was given off the last time I used the spell. [Me? Die? That¡¯s hilarious.] (Yuki) ? ? ? ? ? [I-I¡¯m sorry for calling you weak.] (Luka) [Tch. Whatever.] (Yuki) [So what was that? You¡¯re crazy strong~] (Haku) I just shrug, scared that I¡¯ll either say something rude or say too much. [I think you guys should see this.] (Aster) Aster, crouching beside Zyre¡¯s body takes out various items from her pocket. [What are those?] (Axilia) [Item drops. It seems she was the reason that there were no monsters.] (Aster) [Why¡¯d she do that though? There shouldn¡¯t be a reason why demons would need item drops from monsters. There should be an abundance of that stuff in Ashura.] (Axilia) Ashura is the country where demons reside. No humans have ever ventured there and even if there were some who have, they would¡¯ve been killed upon entry. [That¡¯s weird, but I think it¡¯s about time we head back. I don¡¯t think there¡¯s any monsters left with the amount of item drops Zyre had.](Haku) [O-Ok. It took us a little over three days to get here, which was shorter than we had originally planned, there were no delays. In the meantime, you can just have a seat.] (Receptionist] [Thank you.] (Axilia) The receptionist nods and talks to someone, who takes over for her, then she enters a door in the very back of the room. Soon after she enters, she comes back out with a young man with brown eyes and an ever-smiling expression on his face. He has a cheerful demeanor and walks in a near-skipping way. He looks like he¡¯s in his early twenties or even late teens. [Axi! Long time no see!] (leader) [Ah, leader. Yeah, it¡¯s been awhile.] (Axilia) [Oh? And I see you have people with you.] (leader) Axilia points at each of us. [Yes. [I¡¯ve barely been here a week and I¡¯ve been attacked three times already. Care to explain?] (Yuki) I say that as I dodge his swing then he smiles and replies. [I wouldn¡¯t know that~ I guess you just have a very attackable face?] (Xen) [What does that even mean?] (Yuki) Xen pauses then pulls one of the many other swords he has on him from his back. If I had opened my eyes a second later, I would probably have been done for. He thrusts his sword at me and I immediately say ¡°Tempest¡± in my head, while reaching my hand out. A bright flash of lightning comes from my hand and directions itself towards Xen. He puts his sword out in front of him guarding the lighting somehow with the thin blade. He keeps getting pushed back and then he smiles. [Hahahahahahaha! Oh wow! Ok, ok! I give, I give!] (Xen) I stop the magic and pull my hand down. [Are we done?] (Yuki) [Yep, yep. We¡¯re done. You¡¯re pretty strong for¡­ I actually don¡¯t know where I was going with that. Anyway, well done!] (Xen) Axilia fast walks over to us along with Aster.
