《Re:A Space Story.》


 Prologue

    Vaessa was on the stage.The concert was on its final moments.She was dancing and singing with her fans cheering her up,down on the audience seats.They were enjoying the concert.As she finished her song she stood in the center of the stage for a few seconds.Her thick,straight, blue hair wasworn in a style that looked like flowing water.She haddroopy white eyes that lookedlike two lotus blossoms.She was about 4 feet 11 inches tall and looked really cute and girly.She was wearing a dress which was especially made for that day.


    Everyone on the audience could her her heavy breaths amplified by the speaker.She was singing one song after the other for almost 3 hours now,with almost no break in between.She looked towards the audience with a determined look.Everyone in the audience were shouting her name.She walked forward towards her audience with slow steps.


    ¡°Thank you for attending this concert.I am really glad that all of you always support me.I am really thankful that there are so many people who loves me.¡±She said bringing the mic she was holding on her hands near her mouth.This made the audience calm down. ¡°I have an announcement to make.¡±She said.Fans began discussing with each other what that announcement could be. ¡°I have decided¡­ I have decided that¡­¡±Vaessa tried to said but she couldn¡¯t bring herself up to say it.She looked at the fans who were anxiously waiting for the announcement.She once again made up her mind.She gripped the mic harder and brought it near her mouth. ¡°I have decided to retire from being an Idol.¡±She said shocking those million fans who came to enjoy the concert.And not just them the entire universe was shocked to hear that the most popular idol of space was going to retire.


    The earth was also one of those places which was shocked to know this.Rumors were going on everywhere about the retiring of space idol.The University of ancient arts was also shocked by the news.But one of the students there didn¡¯t care about that news.He was Blake Terry.He was a 19 year old student who looked like an average boy other than the fact that he had black hair longer than most of the boys of that entire University.He was about 5 feet and 6 inches tall.He was not that athletic neither was he muscular.He was wearing a backpack on his back.He was studying the ancient art of computer programming in the earth,first terran planet.


    ¡°Hello.¡±Someone passing him said.Blake passed him a smile and moved onto his destination.As he reached the class he stood by the door looking for a perfect seat to sit in.He found it soon.He walked into the class and sat near his best buddy,Elvan.He looked


    ¡°Hey dude.How are you?¡±Elvan asked.Elvan had an athletic body and he had light brown hair and slightly blue eyes.Unlike Blake he more was popular among the girls.But still two of them were best friends.There were not many girls on the class.There were only 12 girls in the class of 54 people.Blake touched the virtual interface near his right ears. ¡°Headphones deactivated.¡±a voice came from the ears.


    ¡°I am fine.How ¡®bout you?It¡¯s been two days since I last saw you.¡±Blake asked.


    ¡°Nah,it¡¯s nothing,man.I was just staying home and playing video games all day long.¡±Elvan said.


    ¡°You are something else my friend.¡±Blake said.


    ¡°More over,he you heard about it?¡±Elvan asked.


    ¡°About what?¡±Blake asked.


    ¡°Vaessa is gonna retire,man.¡±Elvan said.


    ¡°I heard some girls talk about that.But,who the hell is this,Vaessa?¡±Blake asked.


    ¡°Whoa?You don¡¯t know Vaessa?¡±Audell asked from behind.


    ¡°I have no idea.¡±Blake said.


    ¡°Come on,she is the most popular idol in this universe.¡±Audell said.


    ¡°So what?¡±Blake asked.


    ¡°The most popular idol of the universe is going to retire and you don¡¯t even care about it.¡±Audell asked.The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.


    ¡°Hey,dude.He only listen to that metal stuff from 2 millenniums ago,remember.¡±Elvan said.


    ¡°It¡¯s metal-core actually.¡±Blake said.


    ¡°That¡¯s way too much.Your taste is way too extreme.¡±Audell said.


    ¡°But dude,but you know how cute Vaessa is?¡±Elvan asked.


    ¡°She might be cute.But does it really matter.If she is an idol,no one of us is never even going to see us in reality.And moreover I hate idols and actress and those who try to give false dreams and hope to others.¡±Blake said.


    ¡°Come on,dude.You are¡­¡±Elvan tried to say but that was the time that lecturer entered the class.She walked to the center of the class and everyone was now on their seats silently.After a few seconds the lecturer began to start his class.But as he was sitting on his seat some thoughts were troubling Blake. ¡°Vaessa,huh?I feel like I have heard about that name before.¡±


    Meanwhile on somewhere in the universe,Vaessa was traveling to the planet of the Space King,Orion.As she reached the planet she walked towards the lift of the place of the Space King,followed by two guards.She entered the lift alone.The lift took her up to the uppermost floor of the palace.She walked out of the palace to the lobby where a man in red suit with a black tie was waiting for her.He was the Space King,Orion.He looked like a complete adult.His body was well-built and muscular,He was about 6 feet and 4 inches tall.She stood up and walked towards Vaessa.He had white hair and he was wearing a golden half mask which covered the face near his Left eyes.


    ¡°Welcome,to the palace of Space King.I am Orion.¡±He introduced himself as he went down on one knees and extended his hands forward.Vaessa looked at him for a moment not knowing what to do next.She then looked happy for a moment as she knew what to do.She stepped a little backwards and rushed towards the king with a knee strike which he dodged at the last moment. ¡°What are you doing?¡±King asked in an angry tone.


    ¡°My dad used to say that,when someone is on their knees it is the perfect chance to hit a ¡°shining wizard¡± on them.¡±Vaessa said with an innocent tone.


    ¡°Shining wizard?¡±Orion asked.


    ¡°It is one of the moves used in a sport called ¡°pro-wrestling.¡±¡±Vaessa said.


    ¡°On what era did people used to play in such dangerous sports?¡±Orion asked.


    ¡°It still existed about 1800 years ago.¡±Vaessa said.


    ¡°Is that so?¡±Orion asked.


    ¡°Hmm¡­¡±Vaessa answered.


    ¡°By the way I am really happy today.¡±Orion said.


    ¡°Why?¡±Vaessa asked.


    ¡°You decided to retire,Right?¡±Orion asked.


    ¡°Hmm¡­¡±Vaessa nodded.


    ¡°So,that must mean that you are finally going to accept my proposal.¡±Orion said.


    ¡°What proposal?¡±Vaessa asked with an innocent face.


    ¡°Marriage proposal.¡±Orion replied.


    ¡°But ,I told you that I don¡¯t love you that time.And I won¡¯t marry someone I don¡¯t even love.¡±Vaessa replied.


    ¡°Then,Why did you retire then?¡±Orion asked.


    ¡°I am going to earth now.I want to study programming.¡±Vaessa answered.


    ¡°What would you do after studying an ancient art?¡±Orion asked.


    ¡°I don¡¯t know.I just had a dream in which I was doing programming,so I want to study programming.¡±Vaessa said.


    ¡°Just because you had a dream,you are going to study an useless ancient nonsense.¡±Orion asked.


    ¡°Yes.¡±Vaessa said with a smile.Orion was now getting angry.The King of universe had enough with all those stupid things he did for Vaessa.He even provided her house and let her do anything she wanted.But now this was way too much for him.He grabbed Vaessa by her neck and brought her to near his face.That time a pendent popped out from her clothes and came out to the display.It had an earth being stuck by a lightning and getting split into two made using metal.As Orion looked at that pendant he began to sweat and started acting differently.


    ¡°That sign,Where did you get this pendant from?¡±Orion asked as if he was getting irritated by that pendant.


    ¡°Someone give it to me.¡±Vaessa said in pain as she was getting her neck grabbed tightly by Orion.


    ¡°Who gave it to you?WHO GAVE IT TO YOU?¡±Orion screamed at Vaessa.


    ¡°Plateau Breaker¡­He gave this to me.¡±Vaessa said.As she said this Orion put her down on the floor and got backward.His face said that he was scared of that name.


    ¡°Don¡¯t get that near me.¡±Orion said with a scared look on his face. ¡°I hate him.I hate him for my life.¡±Orion screamed.Vaessa now didn¡¯t see a reason to stand there she now slowly went back to the lift where she came from.Orion was feeling in comparable pain in his head.He placed his hands on his head and began to scream looking above.He ripped of the mask and threw it down on the floor.As he removed the mask he face was burning in a black fire it didn¡¯t spread to his body neither did it went of with time.It kept burning as if it was going to stay like that forever.


    ¡°Burn¡­And Burn.Keep burning,in your own flames.That¡¯s what you deserve for what you did.And pray,that you will never meet me again.If you will do,I won¡¯t even leave a trace of your soul.¡±These lines kept echoing in his head.Orion felt like his his head was gonna split.


    ¡°PLATEAU BREAKER.¡±He screamed looking at the skies with a scream which made the entire planet shake.

 Arrival from space 1.

    Year 4026.The Terran empire rules the universe.It all started in the year 2227,with the launch of first ever Terran portable wormhole maker.Biggest invention of the millennium.After that terrans made their influence all over the universe.And on Year 3456 when everything was going peacefully,appeared a villain who crushed the dream of peaceful universe.Orion was his name.He planted the seeds of greed and jealousy into the heart of his fellow terrans.He promised everyone who followed him the right to rule over something.And after a huge war,with different species of the  universe,who fought bravely for their freedom,he finally gained the control of the universe.And It was until recently that for one last time someone challenged the Space King.He called himself ''plateau breaker''.He was strong enough to face the entire universe all by himself.But even he couldn''t bring down the empire.But after the Space King fought Planet Breaker,he was never seen out of his palace.


    It was an other normal day for Blake.He was walking down the street from his college to his room.He was wearing a his usual black backpack on his back.He took it almost everywhere he went.It had a bottle of water and some tech he needed for his classes on it.


    "Tsk.I shouldn''t have taken this course at all.All the programming part apart ,why should I make something so old fashioned like a line following robot.What does it even have to do with programming?"Blake said walking lazily down the road."Those of you who think LFR is cool.Snap out of it.1st year student''s of engineering make it for their mini project.Even you can make it if you just follow some YouTube tutorials.And yes I am talking to you,mister reader.Wait! maybe miss reader.I don''t think girls ever read sci-fi.Well that aside.I want to say that I can break the fourth wall.That might be the only thing common between me and my bro Cain,you know from the other fic TearFire.Not that we are real brothers but MCs of the same author,you what I am talking about.But we do look similar.I mean bro also had long hair as a human,know?"Blake started talking looking at a random direction.Some of his classmates who were walking behind him noticed him talking to someone.And they stopped him by calling his name.One of them was Noah.He was the topper of Blake''s class.He was a lyricist according to himself.He liked to play pranks on Blake but was still a friend for Blake.Along with him was his best friend who always hanged out with him.His name was Jake.He always helped Noah on his pranks.While Noah was a little short but still had quite an athletic body.Jake was taller and was a little bit more fat.


    "Hey, Silkie who were you talking to?"Noah asked heading towards Blake,making him turn towards Noah.Noah used many different names to call Blake,one of them was Silkie because of his long and soft hair.Blake was not really happy to see him.


    "Nothing, just some self talk."Blake replied.


    "Self talk,what is that?"Jake asked.This novel''s true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.


    "Talking to yourselves is called self talk."Blake replied.Three of them had began to walk down the street.


    "So how are you doing today?"Noah asked.


    "Today is as same as ever.Same old boring stuff.Lectures after lectures."Blake answered.


    "Aha."Noah said.After that,there was a long always silence.No one knew what to talk anymore.As they reached some of the buildings,Noah spoke up"It looks like my hostel is here."


    "Okay bye."Blake said shaking his hands as a good bye.Blake then walked to his hostel.He followed the stairs to the 6th floor.There was lifts but he didn''t used them because they used to be pretty much crowded at that time.He showed his card on the door and the door opened to his room.It was quite big.It had a sofa on the front and there was a double bed on the right most corner opposite to the door of the room.He placed his bag on the sofa and fell on the bed on his back.He sighed thinking about the day.He then woke up as he remembered that he had to take a bath.He walked upto the bathroom door between the kitchen door on the left most corner near the bed and the bed.He opened the door and looked at the mirror to see his own reflection.He had a disappointed look on his face.


    "This is my state right now,huh?Even though I used to be a little more healthy."He said flexing his almost non existent muscles."Come on,non existent is a harsh word."He said protesting against obvious facts."Hey,what do you mean by obvious facts.Even I had..."He said as he tried not to spill the truth."What truth are you talking about?"He asked talking about the truth which everyone realized at the ending of the prologue."I don''t know what you are talking about."Blake said,but he knew what I was talking about and he also knew that I know everything because I am the narrator of this story.The playing fool doesn''t work with me."That aside,leave me alone for sometime I have to take a bath now."Blake said.as he shut the door of the bathroom.After a second he again opened the door and came out of it with a smiley face."Oops.Forgot the towels."He said as he went to his wardrobe to take towels out of it.


    Meanwhile on Earth''s orbit a space ship was almost near the earth inside it was Vaessa.She looked out from the spaceship to see the blue planet she was going to stay in for a while.


    "So this is planet Earth,huh?"Vanessa asked.


    "Yes,milady.Do you like the view from here?"A voice came from the screen present in front of her.It was Pegasus.She was an AI present in her ship.Pegasus was also the name of her ship.


    "Pegasus,I like it.Get me to the earth as fast as you can?"Vanessa said to the AI in her kind voice.


    "As your order,milady."Pegasus said.The ship they were traveling in increased the velocity and began entering the atmosphere of earth.As the ship landed on the earth.Vaessa hopped out of the spaceship to breathe in the air of earth.


    "This planet is so good."Vanessa said.


    "Indeed, milady.There was a time when this planet was at the edge of it''s destruction.But as a result of everybody''s hardworking.This planet has returned to its original beauty."Pegasus said.


    "Then,I am now leaving for my destination.Pegasus..."Vanessa said.


    "Yes,milady"Pegasus replied.


    "Activate stealth mode."Vanessa said as she stepped out to the ground.The spaceship disappeared as if nothing was present there and Vaessa marched forward to her destination.

 Arrival from space 2.

    Vaessa walked towards her destination through the way ahead of her.There were trees giving her shade on both sides of the path.She was enjoying the new atmosphere.This was the first time she certainly to the birth planet of her face,Terrans.She was going to the office of the college.She stopped on the way as she reached a huge door with a huge sign above it saying.


    "Terran University of Ancient Arts."


    "So here it is the TUAA.It is about time I try to change my appearance."Vaessa said looking at  the sign above her.She brought her wrist up to press a button on her watch.A holographic image of someone appeared on it.She scrolled through some of them to look at those appearances,but she didn''t seemed interested in any of it.


    "Nope"


    "No"


    "Not this one either."


    "Isn''t there anything that I can try without out looking complete commoner."She said as she was not finding a suitable attire for her.


    "Aha,found something at last."She said as she finally found out something suitable for her.She pressed over the holographic image and her appearance changed in a second.Now she was looking like a boy.Her hair was now tied up into a pony tail and it was blonde in color.And also she was wearing a blue colored jeans and a full sleeved purple shirt with sleeved folded to to half of her arms.She continued to her destination now that she was on perfect camouflage.


    Gear was working on the office.She was rolling around the office carrying "data" from here to there. "Data" was like digital information store in a physical form.They look like a holographic papers at first sight.Only bots made to handle "data" was able to interact or even touch it.Yes,Gear was a robot she was made to work for TUAA.She was always working at the head office.She knew everything about the TUAA.One would even say that she was TUAA itself.She was head of everything in that.But for a bot, she was a little clumsy and also liked to make friends.Not with just other machines,with living beings too.Gear believed that even robots pass living beings.While Gear was carrying those she had on her robotic arms she heard someone knock on her door.She looked at the direction where noise came from.


    "Oh my,that''s a rather ancient way to let someone know you are here.I wonder who could it be."She said to herself.She activated her X-ray vision to look at the door and saw a girl disguised as a boy.No one knew why an info bot had functions like X-ray vision and thermo durability.She could have survived inside the core of a star for years.That was something which even best of the fighter bots couldn''t do.


    "Shut up, Narrator."she said.Nobody knew why she was able to break the fourth wall either.


    "I know,you know why I can do this."she stated."You can come in little lady."she said raising her voice so that the girl could hear her.


    The door now opened and the Vaessa in disguise entered the room.


    "How did you find out?"Vaessa asked.


    "I have x-ray vision."Gear answered.Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation.


    "You are an info-bot, right?"Vaessa asked.


    "Well,technically yes."Gear replied."I can understand why you are in disguise.But I can''t understand why you are dressed as a boy,miss Vaessa West?"Gear said shocking Vaessa.


    "How did you knew it was me?"Vaessa asked.


    "Pegasus told me,you were coming to me."Gear said.


    "She did?"Vaessa asked.


    "Yes,my dear."she said.


    ¡°She must have told you why I was coming too,right?¡±Vaessa asked.


    ¡°Yes,she did.¡±Gear replied.


    ¡°Then can you help me with that?¡±Vaessa asked with expecting eyes.


    ¡°I believe that a friend of my friend is my friend too.¡±Gear said.


    ¡°I don¡¯t know about that,but that must mean that you will help me,right?¡±Vaessa asked.


    ¡°I will help you,but I don¡¯t know if finding someone from your dream would be that easy.¡±Gear said.


    ¡°I think that finding him would be that hard,because he had something which only a few has in common with.¡±Vaessa said.


    ¡°Oh my,what would that be?¡±Gear asked.


    ¡°He had long black hair which was a little longer past his shoulders.¡±Vaessa said.Gear was shocked to hear that.She circled the floor with excitement.


    ¡°I might know who he is.¡±Gear said.She placed the ¡°data¡± she was carrying down on the desk near her and began to search from it.


    ¡°Found it.¡±She took a file from it and threw it upwards.A screen appeared in front of them with Blake¡¯s picture and data on it.All details of him were written on the screen. ¡°Is this the guy you were looking for.¡±she asked.


    ¡°Yes, this is him.I knew it,my dreams comes true almost every time.¡±Vaessa said.


    ¡°I can¡¯t believe it.¡±Gear said.


    ¡°I know many people don¡¯t believe in prophetic dreams.I guess that applies to robots too.¡±Vaessa asked.


    ¡°Even robots can be considered as people.Even we have feelings, you know.By the way,it is not the fact that your dream came true I don¡¯t believe.The fact I can¡¯t believe is that someone like him can be prince of someone¡¯s dream.¡±Gear said.


    ¡°Prince of my dreams,huh?This is so romantic.¡±Vaessa said as she looked at the screen in front of her.¡°Blake Terry,second student year in Ancient Art of Programming,huh?It is the same as my dream.¡±She said after reading the first sentence of what was written in the screen.


    ¡°By the way, what was your dream about?¡±Gear asked.


    ¡°It is a secret.¡±Vaessa said.


    ¡°A secret,huh?¡±Gear said with a disappointed face.¡°I think he will hate this but,do you want to be his roommate?¡±Gear asked.


    ¡°And his classmate too.¡±Vaessa replied with a smile making Gear unable to say no to that.


    ¡°I will try to do it.¡±Gear said as she took the ¡°data¡± and began to search and edit some of those. ¡°Did it?¡±Gear said as she finished with the files.


    ¡°Wow you are so fast.¡±Vaessa said.


    ¡°Here is the card key to your room.¡±Gear said as she extended her hands forward and a card materialized on her hands.Vaessa took it from her hands.


    ¡°You have a particle materializer inside you.You are awesome,maybe even more than Pegasus.¡±Vaessa said.


    ¡°I am programmed to fly spaceships too.¡±Gear said.


    ¡°You are definitely more awesome than Pegasus.¡±Vaessa said.


    ¡°You should get going now.The card key will show you the way.Blake must be back by now.Just call me if he refuses to let you stay.Even though the probability is low.¡±Gear said.Vaessa turned back and began to leave the room but she stopped and turned back to Gear.


    ¡°I forgot to ask.Do you know Blake?You seemed like you were familiar with him.¡±Vaessa asked.


    ¡°He is my ¡°friend¡±.¡±She replied.


    ¡°What was that?¡±Vaessa asked.


    ¡°What was what?¡±Gear asked.


    ¡°The bunny ears,I mean.¡±Vaessa replied.


    ¡°Oh that.I was just um¡­¡±She thought for a second ¡°I don¡¯t know really.¡±Gear replied with a smile.


    ¡°You know,you are being suspicious.¡±Vaessa said.


    ¡°He is just a friend.¡±Gear said.


    ¡°You mean a ¡°friend¡±,Right?¡±Vaessa said.


    ¡°Yes ¡°a friend¡±.¡±Gear said as both of them laughed at each other.


    ¡°Well,bye then.We will meet each other soon.¡±Vaessa said.


    ¡°See you soon.¡±Gear waved her goodbye.As Vaessa left the room she sighed with relief.


    ¡°I thought I was caught for a second.But I don¡¯t think anyone will ever guess my connection with that idiot.¡±Gear said to herself.She turned towards the desk and went back to the work she was doing.

 An Unwanted Roommate

    Blake came out of the bathroom after his bath.He had a towel wrapped around his waist.He opened his wardrobe and took the hair drying helmet out.He placed that on his head and switched it on.Then he lazily laid back on his bed.Random thoughts filled his mind.He fell asleep before he knew it.Since the hair dryer helmet was automatic.It went off on its own.As Blake was falling deeper into his sleep,he heard a knock on the door.He sat up with surprise of hearing something unexpected.He was completely awake now.


    "Wow,I haven''t heard that sound since..."He hopped up on his feet and went towards the door.


    "But,who could come to my room.Could it be Gear?"


    "Nah,she is way too busy nowadays."


    He said as he walked towards the door.He was going to open that door but he remembered that he forgot his card key in his old clothes'' pocket.He turned back and went to his wardrobe and began to search his jeans for the wallet,in which he left his card key.He looked back as he heard the squeaking sound of the door opening.He saw a boy with long blonde hair tied into a pony tail,entering the room.Blake stood up and looked at him and began to think if he knew him.Vaessa closed the door and stared at half naked body of Blake.


    ¡°Um¡­ Do I know you?¡±Blake asked as he had an unexpected guest on his room.


    ¡°What?I couldn¡¯t quite hear you.¡±Vaessa said.She didn¡¯t hear what Blake said because she was ¡°busy¡± staring at Blake¡¯s body.


    ¡°Do I now¡­I mean know you?¡±Blake asked stuttering due to surprise.Blake had a habit of stuttering when he was surprised,afraid or overly excited. ¡°Can you shut that up please?Nobody wants to know that.¡±He said with angry tone,directing towards me.But that grabbed attention of Vaessa.


    ¡°Were you talking to that voice?¡±Vaessa in disguise asked.


    ¡°Wait!You can hear her?¡±Blake asked also revealing that I am a woman.


    ¡°Shut up.You are just a girl,not a woman.¡±Blake said making me sad.


    ¡°You are right.But how did you find out?¡±Vaessa asked.


    ¡°I was talking to ¡­¡±Blake said pointing towards the roof. ¡°Wait a minute.¡±He said as he realized something.¡°You are a girl?¡±He asked covering his upper body.He quickly ran and hid behind the door of his wardrobe.


    ¡°What is a girl doing in the boys¡¯ apartments?And why are you dressed as a boy?¡±Blake asked.He was embarrassed as hell.He thought for a second that he should have worked out some more.


    ¡°Can you just shut up?¡±He said to me.Even though he knew that I can¡¯t narrate the story if I shut up.


    ¡°Um¡­I don¡¯t know how to answer you if I shut up.¡±Vaessa said.


    ¡°Sorry,I was talking to the narrator.You said you can hear her,right?¡±Blake asked Vaessa.


    ¡°Narrator!You mean the voices?I can hear them.But not all the time.I just know that a voice exist that tell things which is happening somewhere in the universe.I have only heard it a few times.¡±Vaessa said.Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.


    ¡°Well that aside.Are you really a girl?I mean you might look like one,if you wear a dress or something.¡±Blake said.He was still hiding behind the door.Vaessa touched some of the buttons on her wrist watch and he returned to her real self.But she wasn¡¯t wearing the performance dress.She was wearing a white frilly dress,in which she was looking like a doll.


    ¡°Tada¡±She said rolling on her feet.She then looked at Blake for him to tell her something.She was wishing for him to get surprised that she was ¡®Vaessa¡¯,Greatest Idol of the universe.


    ¡°Wow!You look great.¡±That was his reply.Blake complimented Vaessa for her beauty,instead of getting surprised.


    ¡°Really,thank you.Wait!Didn¡¯t you recognize me?¡±Vaessa asked as she was the one who got surprised.


    ¡°Are you a celebrity or something?¡±Blake asked with smug face.


    ¡°Do you know about Vaessa?¡±She asked.Vaessa was still surprised that he didn¡¯t recognize her.
