《The Creative Truth》 The Creative Truth The Creative Truth My name is Ly. I am a being of ultimate power. This is my story of complete boredom on Earth before becoming a supreme being. This was a very long time, I mean a very, very long time. Before the dinosaurs, before life, before light and darkness, and before creation itself. There was a single orb wandering in space. It had been floating since time immemorial, not like that¡¯s important. After a long time, it gained a conscience that longed for others. In its loneliness, it split itself into 5 other pieces. Each piece held one of its main powers. The first piece was a blue cube. The blue cube used its power to build a world with water and land, but this land lacked a certain something. The second piece was a green pyramid, it used its power to create all life. But still something was missing. The earth that the cube made was unstable, cracking and floating away whenever it got the chance. The life forms that the pyramid made were void of feeling and needs that they just sat around and wasted their lifespans. There was also no light, only endless darkness. So, the third piece stepped in and created a sun. It used its spherical form for reference on what this sun would look like. The sun was extremely hot, melting the lifeforms and land that the other shapes had worked so hard to create. So, the forth piece, a blob of unspeakable origin, stepped in, creating gravity and the moon to protect them all from the harsh rays of death from the sun. The fifth piece never did activate. It had no shape or form. It was formless entity. It floated to earth in an eerie way. It would lay dormant for another 7 trillion years. The rest of the pieces slowly lost their power and returned to the orb. These pieces would not be seen for a long time This was an ideal world, no fighting, no needs, no disasters, no hate, everything was perfect. But one day, a single human that was different was born. It was born with 2 horns and 2 wings. It was an abomination. Its parents left it for dead in the middle of an unsuspecting forest. This creature sat there for years hoping that its parents would return for it. It grew and grew over the years, until it was an astonishing height of 7 feet tall. This wait unknowingly gave it a new feeling. This was the first time that any creature had ever felt hate. This hate was a stimulus to an unknown power that it had. The hateful creature slowly stood up and roamed the planet. Everywhere he went, he was discriminated against. No group wanted him, they all thought he was unfit to be part of their group. These groups were formed from family members and friends. Soon the hateful creature started to hate everyone.Love this story? The hate got so strong that it consumed him, turning his skin into a purple color. His teeth grew pointed, his horns grew sharper, his wings grew bigger, his eyes became completely red (no iris). He also gained unimaginable powers. He was hundreds of times stronger than a human, more studier, faster, more intelligent, more devious, and overall more superior. It was soon developed a way to harness the power of the dark blob granting him the power to control darkness itself. With his new-found powers, he slaughtered anything that got in his way. Unknown to all was that the powerful orb was watching it. The orb didn¡¯t want all these creatures that the pieces created to die, so it gave a few humans the power and knowledge to harness the spherical pieces power. This power gave them the chance to fight back against the hateful creature. These new humans grew white wings. They also obtained golden eyes and a golden halo surrounding them. They were also many times more powerful than normal humans, but they were still not as strong as the hateful creature. The winged humans soon confronted the hateful creature. They exchanged no words and immediately started to fight each other. The fight was ferocious, lasting a whole 10 days and nights. In the day, the winged humans held the advantage, and, in the night, the hateful creature held the advantage. The winged humans pinned him 10 days later and sealed him in an alternate realm. The humans celebrated the death of a big menace, and the rise of the winged humans. The demon left the humans a special gift known as the AE or Adam and Eve, which gave birth to negative feelings like hate and greed. Figuring that winged humans was kind of repetitive, they soon started calling them angels. They called the hateful creature, which was the opposite of the angels, a demon. The angels built three large empires that prospered for many decades. Each of the three kingdoms had a king and queen as their leader. The angels also made them train in an inferior skill like their angelic powers. Even though they trained in similar skills, the humans never grew wings or changed eye colors. Many millennials passed on and each of the angels had died due to old age and those three ancient empires crumbled and gave way too many smaller nations. The demon appeared every 500 years to wreak havoc upon the humans only to be foiled every time by the inferior cultivators. Slowly the passage of time buried those nations, and new nations appeared. Cultivator slowly died out, until they became nearly extinct. The cultivators that preserved holed themselves up and hid away from the world. The demon didn¡¯t reappear until 1346 AD. The demon was sealed again 3 years later, and people slowly forgot about it. It was also covered up by the government to look like a very dangerous disease known as the Bubonic Plague. 653 years later in the Grand Canyon. In a construction site deep in the canyon. Workers were working very hard to complete the bridge that they needed to cross the other side. Chink (metal against metal) ¡°Hey guys look what I hit.¡± 1# guy ¡°What is it¡±. 2# guy ¡°Looks like a crystal¡±. 1# guy ¡°Maybe we can sell it for a fortune¡±. 3# guy The first guy put the crystal in his pocket and they left the construction site under the excuse that they couldn¡¯t work anymore today. They took the crystal and sold it for trillions of dollars to the government. The Government experimented on it constantly trying to figure out what made this crystal so special. The government theorized that if they could find more crystals that they could solve this mystery. The American Government searched high and low for these crystals. Over the next 10 years they found 4 similar crystals. Using the most technological advanced machinery at that time, they slowly pieced the 5 crystals together to create a single perfect crystal. When it was finished, the crystal levitated a few meters and started to spin. The scientist where awe by this display, they dumbly stared at the crystal while it was spinning. Sadly, they did not predict the outcome of this experiment, because seconds later the crystal exploded creating the Gulf of Mexico. Birth of Ly Birth of ly ¡°I bet you thought that I would be born from that crystal. Well, your wrong.¡± [Ly] The crystal created a zone of malice, rupturing the world and bringing it a new disaster, known as Origin. Origin is not that important right now, so I¡¯m just going to skip over it for now. Now its time for me to enter the stage. 2 years later A couple was running through the snowy mountains hoping to get away from their pursuers. Their excellent footwork had allowed them to pull ahead of the others, but the bundle in their arm was holding them back. They decided to leave the bundle at a nearby orphanage. Calling it an orphanage was an understatement, it was more of a castle than anything. They had left their silver eyed baby on the front step of the indomitable castle. The orphanage was called the lost paradise that took in children no matter the situation, and all those who have attempted to destroy the castle have perished. The maid slowly came outside and picked up the child.Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon. The parents had already left the scene. The maid shrugged and took the baby inside to register it. ¡°As you guys could guess, that baby was me. I was barely 2 months old when my parents left me at that castle. Kind of sad, but whatever.¡± [Ly] The child lived there for 5 years before the castle was captured by a group of cultivators. The cultivators killed all 20 adults and sold the children to the Monolith Society. POV change My group of 40 were sold to an underground assassin company tasked with destroying governments. After selling us, I heard them say that the children were different. I couldn¡¯t hear very well, so that was all I got from their conversation. They loaded us into small crates and shipped us like mail. When they opened the crate again, only 10 of us remained. The other 30 weren¡¯t killed, but they didn¡¯t make the cut and were shipped away to different parts of the country. When the crate was opened o slowly got out and whipped my dusty silver hair into shape and stared out with my silver irises. The other children got out and assessed the situation, but what were we expected to do. The oldest out of all of us was only 9 years old. A middle-aged man steeped out. He wore a navy green shirt and a cowboy hat. His fashion sense was awful, and the slacks he was wearing wasn¡¯t helping. ¡°When I heard they were bringing me new recruits, I didn¡¯t think they would bring me newly born recruits. Unbelievable.¡± [ Poorly dressed man] Another man standing in the group slowly stepped out. He was wearing a full tuxedo and a wizard¡¯s hat. It was odd, but he managed to make it work. ¡°You should read the mission before accepting, Charles.¡± [Wizard man] ¡°I didn¡¯t accept this mission. It was forced upon me by the directors. And why did you say my name, Anthony.¡± [Charles] ¡°Children listen up, you are the young miss¡¯s new playmates. I lie. The young miss owns you. You guys are just toys until she gets tired of you. And when she gets tired, well just throw you into the jungle to die. Good luck.¡± [Anthony] The Young missus We trekked through the deep jungle for hours before we found a lonely mansion. The mansion was spotless on the outside, which made me wonder, who had enough time to clean it. Upon entering the mansion, the guards forced us to take showers. The only clothes we got to wear was underwear, socks and a white robe that Daoist wear. Their fashion sense awful. The walls in the mansion were grand. Everything was decorated with gold and shiny jewels. It was very bright in the house. All the shiny objects created glares that hurt the eyes or sharp piercing rays that burned the skin. It was truly unbearable. Charles led the group down a large hallway to a single room with a door over 7 feet tall. When we arrived at the door, Charles turned around and glanced at us. He didn¡¯t say anything, he just stared. It was very creepy. ¡°Why are you doing that? Its totally unnecessary.¡± [Anthony] ¡°I wanted to scare them. What¡¯s so wrong with that.¡± [Charles] ¡°Its not scary. Its just annoying and creepy. This is why I don¡¯t hang out with you.¡± [Anthony] Charles opened the door while grumbling about how it was scary. The inside of the room was very different from the rest of the mansion. There was no gold or jewels, there was only black and purple decorations. It screamed hardcore goth in the room. The walls were painted black and bloody red. And the floor was purple with bits of red in it. There was a lonely figure sitting in a red chair. The chair was unimportant, but it was made from the bones of a ferocious creature. The girl had purple hair, and when she turned her head we saw that she had red irises and sharp teeth. Anthony and Charles hurriedly bowed and ran off. They deeply feared this eerie girl. The girl slowly stood up and walked over to the first boy, sizing him up with every glance. She checked if he was strong or weak. She even checked his blood. This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it. She did this to all 10 of us, making us feel very uncomfortable. The 9-year-old couldn¡¯t stand it and ask the girl ¡°Are we done here¡±. ¡°You aren¡¯t done until I say you¡¯re done¡± [Young missus] ¡°My name is Siva, and you children are my victims. If you ever disobey my order I will feed, you to my pet.¡± [Siva] She snapped her finger and a giant dog ran in. This dog had 2 heads and was over 4 feet tall. ¡°This is my pet. Its name is cat.¡± [Siva] ¡°But that¡¯s a dog.¡± [9yr old] Siva pointed at the boy and the dog slapped the poor kid. The slap sent the boy flying. The kid was clearly crippled. He would be unable to walk on his legs for the rest of his life. ¡°That was a warning¡± [Siva] I was so scared that I couldn¡¯t even breathe. Many of the children cried out in panic, some even double over and threw up. She then commanded us to follow her. We went through several hall ways before we came to our destination, which was behind the mansion. Behind the mansion was a small machine that looked like an aneroid sphygmomanometer and a catapult. As I glanced around nervously, Siva called her first victim to the stage. She had one of her ninja assistant, that was blending in with the green landscape, drag the first boy up. The assistant strapped the device around the boy¡¯s arm to measure him. A number appeared, and it quickly jotted down the number and pushed the boy aside. She quickly got the rest of the children¡¯s numbers. My number was 0. She handed the paper to Siva and disappeared. I wish I could disappear like that. Siva sized us up and chuckled. ¡°These numbers describe your potential to become greater than a human. Some of you have very great potential, others not so much. Sadly, I have a quota to meet, so some of you got to go. That¡¯s what this neat catapult is for. Bring me that 9-year-old kid.¡± [Siva] The guards dragged the still bleeding kid to the catapult and loaded him in. The kid screamed and cried, but he was no match for the steel nerves of these dangerous people. Siva gave the guard a thumb up. The guard pressed the button and the child was launched into the air. He didn¡¯t make it very far before a predatory bird snatched him out of the sky. The rest of the kids were scared shitless. I was to. She loaded up a few more children and launched them. These children met gruesome ends. One of them hit the predatory bird and was turned to paste, the bird was completely fine. Another one splatted all over the ground. The third hit a tree and was sliced in half by the unbelievably sharp tree leaves. She loaded more up and 4 more met gruesome fates. The only people left were me and a green haired girl. I think her name was Alle. ¡°And the lucky winner is¡ Alle. How does it feel the that out of 10 people you are the only one that¡¯s going to live?¡± [Siva] Alle couldn¡¯t give a reply, because she was completely traumatized. ¡°Okay let¡¯s rap this up, it was fun till about the 6th one¡± [Siva] The guards loaded me into the catapult and pulled the lever. The Realm of gods BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM I was sent flying high into the air. Those brief 10 seconds that I was in the sky had ripped all my skin off and left me with nothing. I was headed for one of the many sharp trees. I knew it was the end. My body went splat against the tree, but my soul kept going until it landed in a pond. I slowly got up and looked around. Nothing, my eyes saw nothing, I felt nothing, and I was nothing. But the pond started healing me. All around was desert, a desert without heat or cold. ¡°You¡¯ve made it. Well, actually, you died and came here. So, saying you made it is inaccurate. Well, congrats. This is the Realm of Gods, but most call this the realm of the fallen. You can call me Ed.¡± [Ed] Ed looked very tired. His green hair was uncombed, his green robe was dirty and wrinkled, and his eye had huge bags under them. His condition was very poor. ¡°It¡¯s a good thing that you came. I¡¯ve stayed awake for a very long time waiting for you. Now let me explain what you got to do. You need to cross the Desert of the fallen. Every grain of sand is a life that was lost, a building that was destroyed, and gods who couldn¡¯t escape their fates. Whatever you do stay on the brick road.¡± [Ed] Ed slowly started turning into sand and his speech also sped up. ¡°At the end of this road, is a temple that holds the key to becoming a God. I don¡¯t have much time but watch out for the Damned. They will try to drag you into the sand.¡± [Ed] Ed disappeared into nothing, leaving me stumped. ¡°Rest in peace, people of the orphanage and elder of these dying sands. Let your souls depart in peace.¡± [Lyves]Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings. And with that I started my long journey. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. This quote was very true in this situation. Every step brought me closer to my destination. Left Right Left Right Occasionally I met other people who beckoned me to step into the sand to enjoy their food, or games, or even clothes. They all looked like nice people, and they offered many things. But these things were traps to lure others into the sand. After walking this path for many years, I assume, I finally saw a giant temple. It was made of huge blocks of black stone, and surrounding this black temple was a moat of lava. Something was in the lava, but it didn¡¯t stop me from getting close to the castle. When I arrived near the castle, the draw bridge lowered and allowed me to enter. Inside the castle was a small table holding a small ball. I cautiously walked over to the ball and held it. Inscribed on the ball was: {What you see is what you want to see. But what you need is what you don¡¯t see. To be better than a human, one must see past what they are and understand that they are¡} On the table it said, ¡®Answer the question. You only get one try, failure is death¡¯. I looked inside the ball and saw 2 of me facing off in an intense battle. They were nearly identical, but each one of them had a subtle difference. One had a gold and blue eye, and the other one had a gold and red eye. Each held a short sword, intending to kill each other. The red eye me hacked down upon the blue eyed me, but blue deflected each blow with ease. And when blue attacked red, red blocked it easily. They circled and moved in sync. Attack, Block, Attack, Block. They were in a stalemate until the blue fell down saying that he was injured. Red slowly approached him and raised his sword, but when raised his sword blue swung his sword and chopped of red¡¯s head. Sadly, blue couldn¡¯t escape his impending doom, because red¡¯s sword fell and impaled him. Both of the clones lay dead on the battlefield, and the orb zoomed out to show the words: Wants bring conflict, desire brings hate, hate brings love, and love is the truth we all wish to seek. They grew up with something but died with nothing. ¡°Hm. To live with something but die with nothing. That¡¯s not true. Not everyone is born with something, some of us are born with nothing and die with nothing. This could only mean one thing.¡± [Lyves] I walked up to the table and answered in the clearest voice. ¡°Nothing. I¡¯ve always wanted to be something. I would give any chance to be that something, but I¡¯ve always knew that I was nothing.¡± [Lyves] Ding The orb in my had made a slight noise, and something flew out of the orb. It was a smaller golden orb. When the orb entered me, I felt myself changing for the better. The Golden Orb The orb entered my soul body. It revived my old body with astonishing speed. First my organs regenerated, next my bones regenerated, then my tendons and skin regenerated. I looked exactly the same before I hit the sharp tree. The orb entered my heart and reinforced my body, giving me unnatural strength, speed, and defense. My blood also turned gold and silver. The orb then continued moving up until it merged with my brain. My brain was filled with long scriptures and rules. Rule#1: Do not slaughter lots humans. (more than 1 million) Rule#2: Do not change the world¡¯s fate. Rule#3: Be awesome. The rules were very simplistic. I didn¡¯t quite understand the world fate, but the third rule was my favorite. The next thing that appeared was the god¡¯s manual. #1: Being a god is pointless if you have no followers to worship you. That¡¯s how you get stronger btw. #2: All God¡¯s gain powers relative to what they own. #3: Gain many followers so that you are ready to fight the devil when he appears. #4: chances to defeat the devil is 0%, trust my experience. All you have to do is weaken it a little and seal it. Quite difficult. #5: Have fun. Being immortal is only worth it if you actually do something. #6: Never question yourself, chances are you will accidently hurt yourself. #7: Good Luck! After the manual was imprinted into my brain, I slowly stood up and assessed myself. I looked exactly like I did before coming here, except I didn¡¯t have any close. I stumbled around due to being unfamiliar with this body. After an hour of practice, I finally got walking down and would soon be practicing running and jumping for another hour. After all that warm up I walked to the door behind the table. The door led to another room filled with one treasure chest. I opened the chest and peeked inside to find a tablet with a few choices on it.The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. Tap one of these items to receive. (warning you only have one chance). The list contained: Cry of the Damned, Book of boredom, and Gaze of Weakness. ¡°Hmm. These all seem like very trashy skills to have, but I guess Gaze of Weakness would be the most effective against others.¡± [Lyves] I decided to go with the Gaze of Weakness. When I accepted the book, the book floated out of the tablet and entered my brain. Gaze of Weakness- Glaring at others causes them to lose strength over time. The longer the gaze the strong this is. The room flashed, and I found myself outside in a jungle. There was no sand, only trees and normal animals. I walked to the nearest tree and felt their leaves to check how sharp they were. They were not sharp at all, this must be a normal forest. I continued walking through the jungle heading to where I thought a human town or city was. Along the way I saw many creatures like snakes, bears, deer, and fish. There was no threat here in this forest. I guess it¡¯s because of my strong body which I was told was stronger than diamond. When I was nearly out of the jungle I came upon a group of young people. ¡°Aww. What¡¯s a cute kid doing here?¡± [girl 1] ¡°Must have been abandoned by its parents.¡± [guy 1] ¡°We should bring him with us¡± [older guy] ¡°Come here little kid. Its okay. My name is Lily.¡± [girl 1 ¨C Lily] I stood very still hoping that they found some other random child in the jungle. Sadly, those chances were very low, and they approached me with a moderate speed, which wasn¡¯t anything slower than a jog. ¡°My name is William. What¡¯s your name?¡± [older guy ¨C William] ¡°My name is Lyves. I¡¯m lost. Can you help me?¡± [Lyves] Lily handed me a chocolate bar to console me. I was very insulted that they treated me like a child. Nothing felt worse than being an adult trapped inside of a child¡¯s body. I didn¡¯t show my displeasure. Instead I put on a very big smile and devoured the candy. I have never tasted something so sweet in my life. The orphanage I went to never gave the children sweets, the sweetest things there were the smiles and the apples. I don¡¯t feel sad for what happened there, because its just not on my priority list of things I need to worry about. The younger guy didn¡¯t seem to like me. He even tried to persuade the others to abandon me here. I thought of killing him off, but I immediately rejected that idea because there were to many witness. I needed them to help guide me out of this huge jungle. Killing one of them would be plain stupid. Lily forcefully dragged me out of the jungle. I could easily escape from her if I put some effort in, but I kept my fa?ade. It took three hours before we left the jungle. When I turned around to see how big the jungle was, I noticed that it was very small. I must have been walking in circles for a while. A newly promoted god getting stuck in a small forest, how embarrassing. They led me to their car and happily drove me to city. ¡°Do you know where we can find your parents?¡± [William] ¡°No¡± [Lyves] ¡°What are their names?¡± [William] ¡°I don¡¯t know¡± [Lyves] ¡°Ugh. What do you know?¡± [boy teen] ¡°Nothing about them¡± [Lyves] When we were done playing a million questions, the boy teen spoke up. ¡°Lets just dump him off at the police station and let someone else deal with him¡± [boy teen] He was really testing his luck. But we soon approached the beginning of the city. The New God We continued driving for 20 minutes before we approached a police station. ¡°Let¡¯s get this over with. I¡¯m extremely exhausted.¡± [Teen boy] ¡°Miele how could u say something like that. This is an innocent 5-year-old boy¡± [Lily] Miele groaned and walked off, leaving us at the police station. ¡°If only he could get over his bad attitude.¡± [William] ¡°Let¡¯s go. I can¡¯t stand him sometimes. He¡¯s just some ordinary person with a little money.¡± [Lily] Inside the police station. ¡°No, we haven¡¯t found anything suspicious. I know that the light just outside of town was the descent of another god. Yes, I will keep searching, but I won¡¯t promise you that I can find him. Those lunatics are surely searching everywhere for him. Their goals are completely whimsy making them extremely dangerous. I got to go, people are standing outside of the station.¡± [important police man] Outside the police station. The three of us entered the police station and walked up to the service desk. The cop looked as if he was expecting us to come. ¡°Hello, how may I help you.¡± [important policeman] ¡°We are here to report a found child. He seems to have some kind of memory loss. We found him in the Davy Crockett national forest.¡± [William] When William told the policeman that I was found in the forest nearby, he smiled and said, ¡°I think I¡¯ve heard of a missing child. Let me check with HQ.¡± He continued his friendly smile and walked into the back room.Stolen content alert: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. Back Room. ¡°The new god should be a child, right?¡± [Policeman] ¡°Yeah, new gods usually appear 5 when they are found. Did you find a lead?¡± [voice] ¡°Yeah, 2 people reported that they found a child in the forest. They also said that the child had some type of memory loss. They aren¡¯t very bright. Like who just finds a kid wandering around in the forest.¡± [Policeman] ¡°Delay them for 5 minutes. We¡¯ll be there soon.¡± [voice] ¡°Roger¡± [policeman] The policeman put down the phone and celebrated. This was to good to be true. He was guaranteed the promotion if this succeeded. Calming down, he walked out of the backroom with his signature smile. Main room. ¡°I need you guys to fill out some paper work. Don¡¯t worry it¡¯s only a little paper work.¡± [Policeman] He handed William some paper work that asked for simple information, like identification, address, the purpose of coming to the police, and intended goal. William was very proficient in doing paper work. It only took him 3 minutes to complete it. A normal man would have taken 20 minutes to complete it, but he only needed three. It was impressive in its own way. He handed the stack of paper back to the officer. ¡°Is that it?¡± [William] ¡°No, I need you to wait here for a couple of minutes while I have someone sort through this stack of paper.¡± [policeman] The policeman was shocked when he received the paperwork back. He called for one of his associates to come get the paper. When he handed the paper work to the associate, he quietly whispered into his ear, ¡°Take your time.¡± The associate took the stack to the back and started on it. We sat on the benches that are provided to those seeking help. 2 minutes later a group of large men burst. Behind the group of man was a middle-aged man. The man had stunning red hair and a handsome face. He had pasty white skin and a neatly trimmed beard. The man radiated an aura of power and authority. The group of large men blocked off all exits, giving the visitors a scare. The powerful man slowly walked up to us. He looked at all three of us before his eyes stopped on me. ¡°My name is Giles. Are you the boy that was found in the forest near here?¡± [Giles] ¡°Yes¡± [Leyves] ¡°I¡¯m going to ask you to come with us¡± [Giles] ¡°What if I don¡¯t want to¡± [Lyves] ¡°Then we¡¯ll take you by force¡± [Giles] ¡°Oh, that¡¯s good to know. Makes me feel better about doing this.¡± [Lyves] Skill vs Strength I hopped up and covered the distance of three feet that separated us instantly. Upon reaching him I attempted to punch his chest. He smiled and dodged my strike effortlessly. He then committed the biggest mistake by attacking me. When the attack landed, his hand broke due to the sheer sturdiness of my body. ¡°Ow, someone gets this kid. The director wants to see him.¡± [Giles] I glared at them, causing my passive ability ¡®Glare of Weakness¡¯ to activate. I had forgotten about this ability. The strong body guards rushed at me with a slow speed. When a bodyguard got to close, I threw a punch or kick to break their bones. The glare was very effective on these people. It slowed them down tremendously. One of the bodyguards was smarter than the rest. He used many of the skills he learned in his life and threw me. Even though I was very strong, it didn¡¯t mean that I was very heavy. I was probably 50 pounds at most. After tossing me around for 5 minutes, he got very tired. This made it easy for me to hit him with all my strength. The attack crippled him, but it also made me stumble forward. By the time I was done beating up the guards, another set of guards rushed in. Seeing that this was a hopeless situation, I turned a punched a nearby wall. The wall shattered, giving me a much-needed escape route. I ran out as fast as I could. Some of the guards chased after me on foot. Some of the guards got into their vehicles and chased me. The most difficult ones where the ones with motorcycles. Unlike cars, motorcycles could follow me if I dipped into an alley. This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience. I ran for another 10 minutes until I was completely exhausted. The transformation from a human to a god gave me an unbelievable amount of strength, but it did not improve my stamina. I couldn¡¯t run anymore. I was just to tired, so I sat down and rested. I knew I would be caught. The guards soon swarmed around me like angry bees. All of a sudden, a grenade hits the floor right next to me. ¡°Fuck¡± [Lyves] The green grenade exploded out! Good thing it wasn¡¯t a grenade, but a flash bang colored green When the flash went off, a girl appeared near me suddenly and grabbed my arm. She gave me a brilliant smile and a thumb up before teleporting us away from the area. In a room We appeared inside of an underground cellar that was quite big. The cellar was as big as a mansion. The air was very damp, and there was little to no light in this huge underground mansion. I was shocked when I appeared inside the mansion. Being teleported was a terrible experience. I got motion sickness and threw up chocolate and other forest creature. It came out as a nasty shade of red and brown. ¡°Hello, you must be the new god. My name is Elise. What¡¯s your name¡± [Elise] Elise looked to be about 10 years old. She had green hair and red eyes. All her features where sharp and pointy ¡°My name is Lyves¡± [Lyves] ¡°I am the god of space. It sounds awesome, but its not very good when it comes to fighting. At most I can do is create a gate to let other come through. What are you?¡± [Elise] ¡°I don¡¯t know. I haven¡¯t got any followers. I just got to this miserable city.¡± [Lyves] ¡°Well we should hurry and get you some followers. A god is nothing without his followers¡± [Elise] ¡°Wait, shouldn¡¯t you tell me why those people were chasing me.¡± [Lyves] She sighed and gave me an annoyed stare. ¡°It¡¯s because they wish to enslave you to their goal. They don¡¯t even give you a choice. Gods are hiding all over the world, and they sent me to come get you. We can¡¯t have those government agencies control us. We a re gods, superior to all humans. We should be ruling them, not the other way around. So, do you wish to join us, of course were not asking you to become some kind of international terrorist.¡± [Elise] ¡°I like what you¡¯re selling. I¡¯ll join, plus I¡¯ve never had a group to be part of.¡± [Lyves] Together we set off to find me some followers. Success from failure Are hunt for followers started in Houston, Texas. Elise had teleported us to an empty building. The building was an empty store that had gone bankrupt. It was usually frequented by hobos and gang members. Elise turned to me, ¡°The goal here is to get you a follower. Let¡¯s start with the something easy. An example of an easy target is injured or dying people. They are very easy to persuade and usually have the least resistance.¡± She pointed to a few children sitting in the dirt. ¡°This is another example of an easy victim, children. Children are easily tricked or bribed. Hehe, give them some food and tell them that your god¡¯s blessing will grant their wishes. Oh, wait I haven¡¯t told you how to accept a follower. When they fully believe that the god you are advertising exist, a light will flicker on their foreheads.¡± ¡°Sounds easy.¡± [Lyves] I picked myself up and sauntered over to the children. ¡°Here¡¯s some bread, my god has specifically told me to give this bread to you guys. He said our meeting is destiny. Will you accept this loaf?¡± [Lyves] The bread I had pulled out was something I had taken from Elise¡¯s underground base. Even Elise was surprised when I pulled the bread out. I hadn¡¯t even been in her house for 5 minutes before I stole something, and where was I hiding that bread? One of the children took the loaf and divided it between them. ¡°You should practice more. Trying to swindle children with bread is a low tactic. Even I can see that you want something from us, and I¡¯m only 5. Plus, you look just as old as me.¡± [dirty child] He already knew that I wanted something. At this moment a video popped into my head. It showed me sleeping in a large bed. Nothing else, it was a terrible video. It didn¡¯t explain anything. The ¡®me¡¯ in the video got out of the bed holding a magnificent sword. Suddenly a few words appeared in my head, ¡®Truth is used to destroy, and lying is used to create¡¯. Stolen content alert: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. The video was very long, the me in the bed had spent 8 hours there. But in real life it had only been 1 second. Elise came and tapped my shoulder. ¡°You saw it, didn¡¯t you? After failing to gain a follower, you received a vision on how to increase your powers. This is very usual among gods. People only receive this vision when they failed the their very first recruiting operation.¡± The children were watching us, but they were very confused. They soon got disinterested by our conversation and left. ¡°Let¡¯s go. No reason to stay here anymore.¡± [Elise] She teleported us back to her underground base. ¡°Whew, I¡¯m tired. Don¡¯t you know how taxing it is to teleport everywhere like this?¡± [Elise] Her smile seemed tired. ¡°I¡¯ll let you stay here for tonight, but tomorrow you have to get your own place. Goodnight Lyves.¡± She led me to an empty room, while she returned to her own room. Gods didn¡¯t need to eat, neither did they feel cold or warm. They still felt pain, but they don¡¯t get sick. And poison is no sickness. Near the abandoned building One of the children who received the bread was standing right next to the spot Lyves and Elise disappeared. ¡°Looks like nebulous has gotten to the new god before the authorities did. That saves me a lot of time. An imprisoned god is a dead god.¡± [mysterious child] The mysterious child disappeared in the shadows of this forsaken area. In the police station ¡°What happened! This is a newly born god. It shouldn¡¯t even be able to use that kind of power.¡± [Captain] Captain turned around and stared at Giles. ¡°I told you to bring me back the god peacefully. Why fight him? [Captain] ¡°Well sir, you gave me all these strong men, I thought this was for me to bring the god in forcefully. Isn¡¯t that why you winked at me when you said peacefully?¡± [Giles] ¡°You fool. Didn¡¯t you learn from the academy that gods can not be beaten with the hands of us mortals. Why do you think we create special God Killing Guns?¡± [Captain] The Captain walked out with a heavy heart. Not only did they not get the god, but they might have just created a very big enemy.
