《The Dark World》 The Black Mansion I ran. The sky was gloomy and a strong wind blew on the bushes. The clouds were gray and it seemed that it would soon be raining heavily. It was already late at night and I could feel the wind blowing at the back of my neck as I ran through the green fields. I did not know if they were chasing me or even knowing that I had managed to escape from the mansion, but the main thing that preoccupied me was that I had succeeded in the mission. I was able to get the coveted and mysterious thing that many people had already tried and failed to achieve for years. I had already lost my sense of time and only knew that I had been running for a long time among the bushes and trees in the fields of the Black Mansion. I told myself I had to go on, but I had to rest for a few moments to regain some of my strength. I tried to convince myself that I had to keep moving and that there was no time to rest. But on second thought I concluded that nothing serious would happen if I just rested for a few moments. I stopped. I gasped several times as I bent down and put my hands on my knees. I looked back and behind me stood the Black Manor. The mansion was very large. It had four pointed spires and, though called the Black Mansion, it would look more like a gray castle, however there was something a bit hideous and intimidate in its appearance. The fields of the manor spilled all over and they stretched a few miles around. There was a wide range of trees and shrubs in the fields; for example, about half a mile ago, I went through a whole field of watermelon trees. These are trees that grow very small watermelons that can be picked and then put them in the mouth and chew them for several hours without their taste coming out at all. There are several kinds of watermelons and each one has a taste that is unique to its. Before that I had seen bushes of thorny persimmons exploding and a grove of peach tins that did not stop spinning when I passed between them. Now, where I stopped, the vegetation was thinner than before, and the only trees around me were banana trees of all kinds. There was the banana mulberry tree which has red bananas, and also the green banana tree. I looked over me and noticed that I had stopped by a tree with blue bananas. The bananas were pale blue like the sea and has dark blue dots. I realized that of course they were blue-spotted bananas. Despite all the variety of special and colorful fruits that were on the Manor, the gloomy weather, the place and the Black Mansion were alienated and the feeling of a little emptiness and depression.Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere. I was only wearing a black shirt and I did not have a jacket or coat and so when the strong wind blew toward me I felt the cold beating at me. When I ran I could still stand this cold, but now that I was standing and resting I felt all the cold air begin to freeze my limbs. Now it was cold not only because it was already past midnight, but also because a storm was coming soon from the north. At least the only thing I could console myself with was that I was wearing long jeans and not short, so at least I did not freeze my feet. I looked in front of meand saw that I was very close to the mansion wall. I''m only a few hundred meters from its. I have to proceed cautiously toward the side entrance of the wall, where there are few guards and I can pass it without much difficulty. As soon as I pass the wall I will meet Rey and Jordan. Or at least that was the plan. I got most of my strength back and I keep running toward the wall. I slow my pace and notice a guard standing about a hundred yards from me. It is close to the wall. I approach him and hide behind a greenish bush. I raise my head above the bush and peer at the guard. I notice that the guard is looking at my area. I was a little nervous, but since it was late at night, it was very difficult or even impossible for the guard to notice my head emerging from the bush. There was a gun in the guard''s belt. The guard turned and now I saw his back. I pulled my knife out of my belt. It was a small but sharp knife that would do its job perfectly. I got up and walked toward the wall and the guard. I clung to the wall where even if the guard turned he could not see me in his field of vision. I was preparing to go out and attack the guard. I approached him slowly, quietly. Suddenly a cold and slightly big hand clogged my mouth. The hand grabbed me and dragged me back. I was frightened and for a moment I did not understand what was going on. I looked back and saw a tall man with brown hair wearing a guard uniform. Thank you for reading. If you like it please vote up and I would like to hear your thougthsin the comments. The Bloody Green Grass 2.1 "Rey?" I said in surprise as he released his hand from my mouth. "Shhhh ..." he said, gesturing with his index finger. "what are you doing here?" I asked in a whisper and wonder as my face changed from frightened to a face that has a small smile spread on them. We walked back toward the bush and I said, "I thought you should wait for me at the entrance with Jordan." "Jenny, I thought I''d help you get out of here," Rey said with a smile as we hid behind a tree. Rey is a twenty-eight-year-old guy, he is shaved and has a soft face. He has an athletic and sturdy body. Usually he has a smiling facial expression and he is brilliant and witty. He has a small light brown bag attached to his shirt and its strap hangs over his shoulder. "Thank you, but I managed to get out of the Black Mansion and get here, so I think I can do it alone," I replied. I''m glad Rey is caring and wants to help me, but I know I can do it alone and it''s dangerous if he''s with me. "Remember that I helped you get out of here," Rey said. "I brought you the key in order that you could get out of the cell you were and I gave you the map of the mansion, without them you wouldn''t have get here." "Yes, but if they see you with me they''ll realize you''re not really working for the elusive man," I say a little worriedly. "They knew you betrayed them and helped me escape and then you could no longer work here as a guard and get more information about them." "Like you said, I helped you escape from the mansion and it''s only a matter of time before they find out, I can''t keep working here and believe me that a month''s work here was enough for me." He thinks for a moment and then asks: "Did you get it?" "Yes, it''s in my pocket," I say with a smile, feeling an accomplishment for what I have managed to steal. "Show it to me." "I can''t show it to you here," I said, looking back. I squeeze and rub my hands to warm them. "It''s glamorous and now in the night it will attract too much attention and the guards will notice us."Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. "Okay" Rey agreed. "Oh," Rey said, remembering something. "I have something for you." He unzips his small bag and pulls out a black jacket. "Your jacket," Rey said. "Thank you," I say, a little trembling from the cold. I took the jacket and put it on. As soon as I wore it, I finally felt that the strong cold that had surround me slowly disappeared. I hardly felt the cold outside anymore, thanks to the special jacket I wear. "It''s a nice jacket," Rey said. "Yes, it''s a great jacket," I reply. My jacket is made of black sikh. Unlike most animals, they have to kill them. The Sikhs have four layers of skin and when one layer is taken from them, they begin to re-create the skin layer and in less than 24 hours their skin regenerates completely. Yes, the Sikhs are a special and nice animal with amazing qualities. The jackets I buy will never be made from a leather of an animal that was killed. "And I have your chain," says Rey, taking out a gold chain with an ancient symbol in its center. The symbol is a triangular shape in which there are three circles that fill it and there are three lines that come out from the three ends of the triangle and connect in the middle. I do not know exactly what the symbol stands for, but before my mother died she told me to keep this chain good. She told me that this chain would bring me luck as long as I wore it. I do not know how much luck this chain gives and whether this is only a superstition that my mother believed in. "Thanks, again" I said as I put on the chain. "But how did you get my chain? The guards took it from me when I got here." "Let''s say I bribed one of the guards to get that chain back," Rey said. "And it wasn''t cheap." A smile of joy spreads over my lips. "You know how important this chain is to me." "Yes, but you''ll have to pay me back for it later," Rey replied with a serious expression on his face. "you aren''t serious?" I said with a smile on my lips when I knew how serious he really was. "Yeah, I''m just joking," Rey grinned. I grinned and after a few seconds I remembered that we had to get out of the Black Mansion as soon as possible. "Well I think it''s time to get out of this place," I put the conversation back to the important issue. "Yes," Rey agrees, nodding at me. I peered out from behind the tree and noticed that the guard next to the wall is now talking to another guard standing beside him. "We have to get rid of these two guards to move toward the side exit." "I''ll take the right guard and you the left one," says Rey, taking a Z-type pistol brand four T out of his belt and turns it toward me. I can take the gun from him, but I know his plan is not good for one reason he does not know about. "We can''t kill them," I say decisively. "We need to get rid of them in another way." "Why?" Rey asked as he frowned and tried to understand my refusal to his plan. "A few minutes ago you were going to kill the guard with your knife and suddenly now you will not kill them, I don''t understand why." "It''s because of the Bloody Green Grass," I replied. The Bloody Green Grass 2.2 He looked at me as he tried to get my point, but he did not seem to know what I was talking about. "What is the Bloody Green Grass and what is its connection to all of this?" "Look," I said as I gestured toward the guards. I noticed a green drop from the grass to the ground and continued: "The whole lawn they''re standing on is made of Bloody Green Grass." "Okay and-" said Rey, waiting for me to explain. "It''s a special grass that when a drop of blood falls on it, it starts to play loud noises like an alarm, and a small drop of blood is enough for the lawn alarm to work, so we can''t kill them." "Did you learn that from the book you read?" Rey asked. "Yes," I answered with satisfaction. "You see it paid off." A few months ago, I started to read the book of galactic botany, or rather to browse through it and read only about the subjects and plants that interest me, because this book is too long. There are 12 main parts of the book and a number of other enrichment books on the subject, but I have only looked at the first two parts. Each part is made up of thousands of pages and the Galactic Botanical Book in its entirety purports to cover all the different types and species of plants that grow in all galaxy, although I assume that there are some very rare plants that do not appear in the book. Luckily, when I browse through the first part, I remember finding information about the Bloody Green Grass. The book explained that the grass is very sensitive to blood and when the drop of blood of an animal or a person dripping on it, it begins to make loud noises, and suppose that when a burglar kills one of the guards, the grass will feel the guards blood and will absorb it immediately and make loud noises to alert the other guards. Therefore this grass is a very good means to a place that you want to keep guard and the only way to distinguish it is the small green blood drops that it secrete from time to time. Besides this, it looks like ordinary grass, and anyone who does not know this kind of grass will probably never suspect that the grass is actually a trap and another layer of defense in the guard. "So why in first place you wanted to cut the guard''s throat?" Rey interested. "I''m sure it would spill large amounts of blood." "Because I noticed that the guard was standing on the Bloody Green Grass only when I approached him, just before you caught me."You might be reading a stolen copy. Visit Royal Road for the authentic version. "You have a sharp vision and distinction so I''d think you''d notice it before you even approache the guard," Rey said. "Yes, but because of the bad weather conditions and the low lung conditions that are found at night, I could see a little green drop from the grass just when I was actually stepping on it," I reply. "That''s his hallmark." "Yes," Rey agreed. He thought for a moment as he gazed at the somber sky that seemed much more turbulent than a few minutes ago. "We have to act fast," I said, adding apprehensively: "Maybe the guards already know that I escaped from prison and ..." "They don''t know," Rey interrupted me decisively, dismissing me. "How can you tell for sure?" "The alarm hasn''t been activated so we can understand that they don''t know you have run away." "Maybe they found out that I had run away, but they know that if the alarm goes off, I know they''re chasing me and then I will be ready for them, so they prefer to search for me quietly without causing a fuss or without I''ll have any suspicion." "You think too much about it," Rey said simply. "Believe me that I know that if they noticed that you or another prisoner had escaped from his cell then the alarm would have been activated, and even in the event that there was no alarm, I would still get an update that a prisoner had escaped from the Black Manor prison. "Yes, I know," I said, accepting what he was saying. Still, he had been working here for a month and he must already know how the guards at the Black Manor were working. I guess he learned a lot more about the Black Mansion and about the people and guards who work there, and indeed the information he got while he was in the Black Mansion is very important and he has a lot of help for us, but right now it is not time to ask Rey what he learned about the Black Mansion. "Soon the storm will come," I pointed out to speed up Rey''s thinking. "And we should get out of the Black Mansion as soon as possible, the longer we stay here, the more we risk being caught." He looked at me calmly and said, "Okay, I have an idea, stay here, and I''ll be back in a few minutes." "Where are you going?" I was wondering. "To take care of the two guards in a different way." "Okay, so I''m coming with you," I answered decisively. "No, it made me worry enough that you had been deliberately caught by the elusive man''s men to sneak into the black mansion and steal the object," Rey said anxiously. "I will not risk you again now when I can solve our problem and get us out of here in a much safer way. except for that, if the guards see you with me they will immediately attack us and there is no point in it." "But what''s your plan?" I asked curiously. "Don''t worry, I''ll be back in a few minutes and then get out of this blooming place," he said sarcastically as he watched the black, oppressive turrets on the Mansion. "Just stay here." He turned and started to move away from the tree we were hiding behind. Ardemi 3.1 Fifteen minutes had passed and Rey had not come back yet. I keep waiting while I hide behind the blue-spotted bananas tree. I look up at the sky and see that the clouds have grown and become more gray. The wind blowing was stronger and colder than before. It would freeze all my bones if I had not put on my special black Sikh jacket. The jacket has two layers of protection and good heating. The jacket warmed me, but I still felt the cold a little. I keep waiting while number of thoughts are running in my mind. The cold wind hits me, but I ignore it and keep thinking about why Rey has not come back. He said he would return in a few minutes and it was over a quarter of an hour. Maybe something happened to him? Maybe someone caught him? Or is he simply delayed? I don''t know the answer, but I try to convince myself that he is only a little late and he will be back soon. Right after he left me to hide behind the tree, I peeked as he approached the two guards and began talking to them. They spoke for a short while and then began to walk along the Great Wall. The wall was long and covered all the land and crops and greenery of the black Mansion. It was more than twenty meters high and consisted of rectangular and gray stones. I didn''t know where Rey had led the two guards and what exactly was his escape plan. I just kept waiting behind the tree hoping I''d see him soon. A few more minutes passed. I look up at the sky and see a number of clouds on the horizon that begin to cluster next to each other. The clouds were very far away, but they began to turn with each other at a fast speed that only increased over time. These were the tornado clouds, and like their names, they are clouds that, in the time of a storm, began to turn around with each other until they become a powerful tornado that moves quickly as it swallowed all the things standing beside it. The storm will soon begin and if the tornado reaches us we will be in a double trouble. This story has been stolen from Royal Road. If you read it on Amazon, please report it I raised my head behind the tree in the hope of seeing Rey, but he was not around. I thought back to the two words he had said to me before he left: "Don''t worry." He used to tell me a lot of these words in a lot of situations and I almost always didn''t have to worry about him when he said that. However, this time almost half an hour was passed and I began to think that soon the guards would find out that I had escaped. It is true that it is now late at night, but sometimes the guards conduct night patrols between the prison cells. I also couldn''t stop wondering what exactly I had stolen from the black estate. I knew that the object was powerful and that many wanted it, but failed to achieve it. I don''t know what powers or things can be done with it and how the Elusive Man got it and what he planned to do with it. All I knew was that it was of special importance to the elusive man.. My line of thought was cut off as I began to hear footsteps moving towards me. I peered out from behind the tree and noticed Rey approaching me quickly. I came out from behind my hiding place, glad to see Rey and feel relieved. "Hi," he says as he stops and gasps for a moment. "Where did you go?" I asked. "I went with them to the hut of the Western Department guards, I talked to them briefly, and then as soon as they didn''t notice, I went into the department head''s room and found his drawer in it." Rey answered as he took a silver key out of his pocket. "I got the key to the back gate." "Oh, good," I replyed with a smile spread across my face. "Well, now we can go to the back gate and finally get out of here," he said. Suddenly we hear footsteps coming toward us. Rey looked at me and said as he lowered his tone of voice: "Hide behind the tree." I immediately did as he says and wait behind the tree while I glance to see who will emerge from the corner of the wall. Ardemi 3.2 A tall, dark-haired man with golden eyes came over to Rey. He was wearing a special guard uniform and his eyes shone brightly in the dark as they produced a new light source that didn''t exist at all. I had heard of a number of people who had glowing gold eyes. Some of them must have been born with those eyes and the other part were people who changed their eyes with golden eyes. One may wonder why a person will change his eyes in other eyes even if they are golden and the answer isn''t for the decoration or the beauty, but because they possess special qualities. It is said that when a man with gilded golden eyes looks intently at someone else''s eyes he can cause him to mix his senses and manipulate him so that he will tell him the truth or tell him the things he wants to know. I don''t know why such a thing can happen, but I assumed that the photons and particles coming from the golden eye to the other man''s eye are those that can cause blurry grazing and pain in the eye that affect the brain and cause confusion. At least that was my theory. "who are you talking to?" The guard asked in a firm, low tone as he approached Rey slowly. "what?" Rey asked, pretending not to understand what the guard wanted from him. "I didn''t talk to anybody," Rey replied, shaking his head. "You talked to someone" the guard determined as a fact. "I was here alone," said Rey, a little indifferently. "There''s no one here with me." "Don''t lie to me, I heard a woman''s voice," said the guard decisively. He looked at Rey with a penetrating look at his glowing littleness and said hoarsely: "You talked to someone." "Ok, yeah, I really talked to someone," agreed Rey as he strays his head. Now I began to worry that the guard''s eyes had really begun to affect Rey. "With whom? where is she?" The guard interrogated when he opened his eyes wide. He continued to look intently at Rey''s eyes, with a great light shining from his eyes. I saw Rey rubbing his face with his hand like his head hurts when he tries to think and concentrate. I noticed Rey looked at the tree I was hiding behind. I began to get nervous when I was worried that maybe the bright light from the guard''s eyes might have really clouded Rey''s thinking and maybe now he was going to turn me in. Rey looks back at the guard and answers: "I was talking to someone on my radio." "With who?" Asked the guard. "With one of the women guard," Rey replied. "Now that you''ve finished your investigation of me, I have to ask you, who are you?" "What do you mean?" Asked the gold-eyed guard as he frowned. "You really don''t know who I am?" "No." "I''m Erdemi MaTon, head of the western department," the guard replied. "You can''t be the head of the Western department," Rey replied amazement as he frowned. "I know that Fermi Mantison is the head of the Western department." "Fermi Mantison was head of the department when he replaced me while I was on vacation for about a month," says Erdemi, head of the department. "Two days ago I returned from my vacation and now I am head of the western department of the Black Manor."This story has been stolen from Royal Road. If you read it on Amazon, please report it "Oh, I didn''t know," Rey said with a smile. "I''m sorry." "You don''t have to be sorry," Erdami said in a sociable tone. He immediately changed his tone when he changed the subject and said: "You''re not one of the guards in the Western Department. "I just had to breathe some air outside," Ray replied. "Yes, of course, at two in the morning when there''s a storm you have to get some air out," Erdemi said sarcastically. "And I had to talk to two guards here," Ray replied. "So why are you holding my key to the West Entrance?" Erdemi asked when he opened his eyes wide again. This time, they gave off a stronger light. Ray blinked quickly in his eyes because of the great light. He got a little hold on himself and asked in amazement: "What?" "I put a tiny tracking device inside the key," Ardemi said. "And through my special eyes I can know where it is." He lowered his face as he looked into Ray''s pocket and said, "My key is in your pocket." I realized that Ardemi had caught Ray and I knew I had to act immediately before it was too late. I left my hiding place as I walked silently toward the head of the department, Ardemi, with his back to me. Ardemi looked up at Ray with a small, malicious smile on his lips. "Two days ago when I returned from my vacation, or rather from the mission I had, I suspected you, you see, in the month that I was not here, I had a special mission and at the same time I heard from a certain source that there was apparently a traitor in the ranks of the Black Mansion. I began to suspect you and your actions and now that you stole the key I have proof that I was right. " He paused a second, looking away to the direction of the tree I''d been hiding in before and immediately turned his head back. At the last minute, I managed to hide behind the tree next to him. "Shit," I thought to myself, I was only a few feet away from him, and if he had not looked back now, I could have attacked him. Maybe I really should have taken the risk and tried to attack him quickly. Now it doesn''t matter and I just leaned behind the tree and only hoped he didn''t notice me. Ardemi frowned as he seemed to notice something. He scanned the area beside me as his eyes light moved along the tree I was hiding behind. After a few seconds he turned back toward Ray when he noticed a fist coming out of Ray''s right hand. Ardemi dodged as he bent down and moved back. "Raise Level 2," Ardemi said, and the intensity of the light of his eyes grew stronger and turned into a ray of golden light that focused on Ray''s eyes. Ray''s eyes blurred and his head began to ache. "Aha," Rey hissed, putting his right hand on his forehead as he looked away from Ardemi. "It will not help you cover your eyes anymore," Ardemi said. "The ray has already hurt your eyes and now you will have a headache that will only get stronger by the minute." Ray panted and panted several times to try to ease his pain, but to no avail. "Don''t worry, you won''t die now, you will faint in a few minutes and then we''ll take you back to the Black Mansion and interrogate you, and then we''ll probably kill you, now tell me where the girl is, Who spoke ... " I came out from behind Ardemi as I wrapped my right arm around his neck. Ardemi chokes as he tries to get out of my hands. I turned Ardemi''s head with both hands and the bone of his neck broke. He fell to the ground without any spirit of life. I went to Ray. His face looked a little weary as he wrinkled it with pain. "Are you okay?" I asked worriedly. Ray gasped and said, "I don''t know, when he raised his light strength to level 2 and I looked into his eyes I suddenly got a serious headache, and it only gets worse by the minute." Suddenly he stumbles and manages to stop himself from falling as he rests with both hands on one of the trees. I rushed to him when I was afraid something serious had happened to him. "You have to rest," I said. "No, I''m all right," Ray said, smiling at me and still panting. "It''s only a matter of a minute or two and then I''ll probably feel better." Suddenly a loud siren sounded from the direction of the Black Mansion. I panicked and my heart began beating. They must have found out that I had run away. I looked at Rey and said seriously and a bit under stress: "We must escape from the Black Mansion." "Yes," Ray agreed with me, whose head seemed to explode in a minute. He has a grin smeared around both ends of his lips. He looked at me with his head dizzy and said softly: "Don''t worry, everything will be all right." He closed hiseyesand collapsed on the floor when the alarm went on.
