《Reaper With The Red Hair》
Prologue
Eis Crestfallen
Kidnapped from my family I''ve forgotten over the years. Trained and taught to be a tool. I massacred an entire army, rampaging towards the building akin to a castle. None survived my onslaught for this was my chance for freedom. The deal to be free and cut all ties and leave this life behind.
Hours passed, leaving only blood and corpses in my trail. The lives that died by my blade would be enough to make two mountains and the blood an enormous lake.

I stepped inside into the last room. Today would be the last day of being a tool. Today would also be the day this rival organization would crumble.
Drip.
I stand alone in the middle of corpses strewn across the room. Just another day at work. I try to humor myself. I wasn''t unscathed in all this. Wounds all over my body and, blood from me and my targets bathing me from head to toe.
Hearing footsteps, I turned around to find the room crowded again. I knew they wouldn''t really let me go. I step towards them even though I''m already ready to fall. Isn''t this enough. I asked myself but I already knew the answer. It wasn''t, not until I''m the only one left standing. This is what has been engrained in me. This what they molded me into. A killing machine. A reaper.
Drip.
The drop of my blood was the last thing I heard before the sweet comfort of death embraced my consciousness.
Or so I thought.

I opened my eyes to see the rays of morning. An instinctual feeling that something is different, that something has changed. I should be dead, yet here I am breathing.
A thousand scenarios flashing in my head just to make sense of what''s going on. I died, that was a fact. I check my body to find no wounds. Further inspection was I shrunk. I seemed to have regressed back into a child. The situation was impossible for all I know. My body was now around 12 years old, the middle ground between being a child and adolescence.
I look around and noticed that I was surrounded by trees. A dull shine caught my eye. It was my sword, though it wasn''t apparent as it looks like a black stick when it''s in the scabbard. It was a chokuto. A Japanese straight sword. It was as long as my current height. At least I have a means to defend myself in this unknown circumstances. I survey my surroundings again. The trees were big, gigantic may be the better word. It would take atleast 4 men to hug it.This novel''s true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.
Divine intervention or not, it matters less right now. Adapting to the situation and keeping calm is what I did. My danger senses was ringing as I heard a growl. With my sword in my hands I controlled my beating heart to a slow rhythm.
3 wolves. A small pack slowly circling me. The wolves were bigger than I know. Because I shrunk they look huge. Black fur with green patches. The eyes looking at me like easy prey. A bite size snack for them. Standing still, ready to draw my sword. My senses enhanced by the adrenaline.
I pounced first to my right. The wolves surprised by the action of their prey. A split second then they pounced too but I was already in front of the wolf. I drew the sword and it pierced it''s eyes. The wolf twitched as it my sword pierced through the brain. I had the advantage on reach. Using the sword, I used it as a stand to jump and avoiding the massive jaws behind me that could swallow me whole. Landing on the ground, forced myself to act on reflex I then pull the sword out and slashed the sword at the second wolf. Targeting the eyes, it howled in pain.
I left the second wolf alone and quickly rolled sideways to avoid a swipe from the third wolf. Face to face with the third wolf, it growled in anger. I turned around and ran towards a nearby tree, the wolf chased. It was quicker but using the tree I backfliped and with the help of gravity my sword pierced through from the back of it''s neck.
I glanced and saw the second wolf with a smile on my face.

I''m remembering the times I was thrown in the amazon. Survival against nature and more importantly against fellow kids. It''s the third day since I got here. For the lack of better words, since I got transported but this forest is much more dangerous.
I had a hard time against the wolves but I saw beasts that makes them seem cute. I''m surviving by hunting wolves or the horned rabbits, other creatures are too strong for the moment. My source of water is a nearby lake I found yesterday and there is something in that lake.
I sleep in the trees to avoid the predators at night. I close my eyes and try not to think about why and how I''m here. I got my wish anyways, I muse to myself. Isn''t this what I wanted? To be free? To start again. Such are my thoughts as I sleep lightly, ready to react. Ready to kill or run from any creatures that come near.
I wake up to the sound of birds chirping, except some of these birds were the size of a chopper. I heighten my senses. I''ve already mapped the 1 kilometer around me but I saw no roads or any trails leading out the forest. I maybe deeper in the forest than I thought. This story is posted elsewhere by the author. With a slash I took down the giant bear. This bear aside from being big as a bus was quicker and had strength enough to slap me to kingdom come. It was greem amd had antler horns growing out of it''s head. Since I got here, I''m adapting my fighting style. I got less and less wounds but my body is full of scars. I''ve hunted animals before on earth but the word monster could only describe the creatures here. There is a big difference with fighting humans so I hone my skills. Removing unnecessary movement, using the most efficient and quickest way to kill. The thing bothering me was my strength and reflexes were bordering non-human. Everytime I fight, something cool would flow through me.
I would drag my kills near my tree. It is my home these past few days. I start a fire, boy scout style. I skin the bear, cook it and smoke the remaining edible meat. It may not taste heavenly but it keeps my away from hunger. I refrain from picking berries and mushrooms to avoid poisoning. If it looks beautiful then it''s dangerous. Another law of the jungle.
It''s the fourth day now and I don''t know how big this forest is. So I expand the map in my head while I hunt. As I keep hunting, the cool feeling gets stronger. What is this? I shake my head as I try to make sense of it.
I stop in my tracks as I saw in front of me something that looked liked a deformed giant as big as a house carrying a tree trunk as a club. It sees me and uses the poor excuse of a club at me. I dodge only to be kicked then I was sent flying away. It runs towards me as I try to stand again.
I ran towards it and use the trees as footholds to slash at his legs. It swings his club trying to hit me but falls down to it''s knees as I slash it''s heel. I then proceed to slash at its throat. It chokes black blood and then falls unmoving.
I rest my back against the root of a tree and hope nothing is broken.
