But when I looked around and saw him, I despaired. I will never forget that sight, the sight of him being eaten alive by the leader of the magical beasts; he yelled and flailed in pain. I yelled out his name and he looked towards me. When he saw me, he had a slight smile; it was a troubled smile, filled with sadness and gentleness. As we stared at each other, waitng for our deaths, he said his last words, they were, "I love you, if there is a next life. I hope to spend it with you again; even if another tragic fate like this were to happen." When he finished those final last words, the magical beast had swallowed the rest of his body and grinded him with its sharp teeth and powerful jaw. Then it looked towards me with a hungry look, as I stared blankly, then when it started to walk towards me, I was jolted awake. As it picked me up and started to devour me, I was relieved and my last thought before it swallowed the rest of my body and ended my life was, "At least we can die together, I hope we can see each other in our next life."This novel''s true home is a different platform. After the voice said that, the soul seem to of flickered that looked like joy and happiness, but the next words of the voice caused the soul to feel lament. "You''re going to be an existence that shouldn''t exist, so there are going to be rules set in place. You can''t tell your host your previous life''s name or past and you are not able to feely help the host by giving them weapons, items, experience, and points. If you were to do that, the goal of the system would be meaningless. The goal of your existence from now and forever will be for you to help the host accept Death. The currency of this world was copper, silver, gold, and platinum. 1,000 Copper Coin is equal to 1 Silver Coin; 1,000 Silver Coins is equal to 1 Gold Coin; and 10,000 Gold Coins is equal to 1 Platinum Coin. The following day the guards of the city lord had come to the inn requesting for me. At the time I had a bad feeling that if I went, my life wouldn''t be as peaceful and normal was it was now. My name is The Infinite Rebirth System, but you may call me whatever you like. I have been assigned to you in order to help you accept death andassistyou to become one of the strongest existences in the universe. But before I continue, do you have any questions?" When the soul said the first sentence, I slightly frowned. Accept death? That seemed like one of the worse jokes to ever be made. I will never accept death even if my soul is destroyed. But even so, I wanted to become stronger to eventually someday be able to kill that bastard, the God of Death. I stayed silent for a moment and thought to myself before asking, "If I were to have you by my side, will I be able to someday become strong enough to be able to kill gods?" I waited for an answer as the soul stayed silent for a moment before sighing and responding, "Yes, will eventually be able to become strong enough to kill gods and other similar beings." When I heard the answer that the soul gave me, I threw away all hesitation that I had and agreed. Butunfortunately what I didn''t know was that along with the system, there will be a lot of pain and suffering along my journey to reaching the peak of existence. The first function is Rebirth, you can only use the Rebirth function 5 times per life and every time you use the function; your rank, experience, points, and mastery will be reset in exchange for 50% more growth speed. This will allow you to use the previous life experience again along with the growth speed bonus. This is great since you will be able to seek perfection. The conditions to use Rebirth are: 1. Reach the Proficient Rank and 2. Have 10,000 Points. For each Rebirth the conditions will increase. An example of the second Rebirth would be the conditions will be set to: 1. Reach the Expert Rank and 2. Have 12,500 Points; After that would be 1. Reach Master Rank and 2. Have 15,000 Points. But once you reach Master Rank you will not be able to become Legendary Rank due to your current body and soul grades. You will have to rebirth 3 mores times by reaching Master Rank and getting 2,500 more Points than from the last time you Rebirthed like from the example I gave. The second main function is Reincarnation, after using the Rebirth function five times and reaching your max potential, you will be able to use this function at the cost of starting a new life. You will lose everything you gained from the system such as mastery, manuals, weapons, points, and experience in exchange for 200% more growth speed and an upgrade to your body and soul. The grading for weapons, items, manuals, as well as the soul and body are the same as this world''s normal grading. But if something bad were to happen, I would need counter measures. I opened up the store and looked around to see what was inside of it. After looking around for about 10 minutes, I didn''t find anything I could buy with 50 Points besides a cloak that boosted your speed by 25%. I decided to ask the system, "Little System, is there anything you could do to help me?" I waited for a response for a moment, just as I was getting annoyed it replied, "I can''t help you a lot, but I might be able to pull a string and give you a gift basket. The items you receive will be completely random and it all relies on your luck. Are you alright with that?" I thought for a moment since my luck was pretty bad considering what happened from my past life to my current life. But even if it''s bad, I can atleast get one thing useful. I said, "Sure, go for it." After saying that a chest appeared on the end of my bed, I brought it over to me and I was left shocked from what I received. The contents in the chest were: A scythe, an assassn''s outfit, a lockpick, a manual, and 500 gold coins. With my terrible luck, I actually got useful items.

They all chose to work here and they can return home to visit their family while I have to stay within the gates of this manor. After I started to think that way, I slowly started to feel hatred. Before I could lose control of my emotions, I had realized that I arrived at the study room of Oswold. I took a deep breath before knocking. After about 5 seconds, I heard a middle-aged voice in the room say, "Come in." I gently opened and closed the door before bowing the middle-aged man, William, who sat at his desk frowning as he looked at documents. After 30 minutes later, William finished with the few documents on his table before he gestured to me to sit down at the chair infront of his desk. I walked over and bowed before taking a seat, as I sat down I thought to myself, "Wow, for someone who hates him, I sure do show a lot of respect... Am I perhaps mental?" But after getting a notice that I''m going to be swapped with a new city lord, I started to think about all my decisions. Out of all the decisions I''ve made, forcing you who had lived a normal, peaceful life to become a servant of mine and raping you, was the worse decision I have made... I took a deep breathe and started walking to the main street, after a feet I turned around to have one last look at the manor. I saw that manor and felt disgust to it, but looking at William waving with a hollow smile and eyes full of self loathing; I turned around and said to myself, "You''ll be the first and only person who will forgive." I began my life as a free woman but first I have to find lodgings and buy essentials. When I arrived at the market, I heard 2 notifications from the system and smiled when I read the contents.

Not too long after walking around I found an inn, I walked inside to the counter and saw a female attendant sorting a few documents. I didn''t want to disturb her so I waited patiently for her to finish sorting the papers, after waiting for 30 seconds the attendant looked up and saw me. She stared for a moment before blushing then said, "I''m sorry for not paying attention, um, uh.. Do you need a room?" I smiled at her flustered appearance before saying, "It''s alright, no need to panic. I need a room for a night, is there any available?" The attendent immediately replied, "Yes, there is still rooms available. The cost will be 10 copper for a night." I nodded before placing a gold coin on the counter and told the attendant to keep the extra coins before taking my room key. After leaving the inn, I walked around the market area and bought things I would need when I left the town to start my adventure. I started to think if I needed anything else, as I was walking around aimlessly I heard a woman shout towards me, "Hey, you look like a pretty young woman. Why don''t you buy some beautiful clothing instead of wearing that gloomy outfit of yours?" I raised my head and looked at the woman before looking at the shop that was behind the woman, it was a women''s clothing shop and through the display windows there were dresses, coats, and.. lingerie. When my eyes landed on the lingerie, I instantly knew what I had forgotten to purchase. I said to the sales lady, "I''m not really interested in any fancy dresses or coats, but I''ll buy some women''s underwear." The sales lady smiled delightfully and lead me inside, after about 5 minutes I left with a bag filled with panties, corsets, and undergarmets. I went back to the inn and dropped off what I bought at the market before going around asking the location of the Adventurer Association. After walking for 10 minutes after getting directions, I arrived infront of a building that looked like a medium-end tavern. If it weren''t for the sign that said, "Adventurer Association." I would of just thought it was a tavern before asking around for directions again. I took a deep breath and walked in, what greeted me was a lively sight. It was a bit noisy with groups of people drinking beer and eating meat as they chatted and laughed; groups arguing about what quest they should take and how to distribute the money and materials. I admired the sight for a moment before walking to what seemed like the clerk window with a young man who had long pointed ears with emerald eyes. Seeing that I stopped at the window, he asked with a kind smile, "Are you turning in a quest or looking to become an adventurer?" His voice was soft and beautiful like a young girl, he was dressed in a maid uniform. If it weren''t for the name almost nonexistant adam''s apple, I would of that that he was female. Shaking away those thoughts, I replied, "I''m looking to become an adventurer." The elf nodded before taking out an orb and placing it the counter, "All you have to do is place your hand on top of this orb and your guild card will be created along with identifying your affinities to elements. Don''t lose your guild card else it will be annoying trying to get a new one." I nodded acknowledging that I understood and placed my hand ontop of the orb, as I placed my hand on the orb a light shone from it as it changed to a red, blue, yellow, green. Just as the clerk was about to open his mouth, the light turned brighter as it turned to purple before coming an almost blinding white light then to a deep, endless jet black color that emitted a strong aura of death. When the clerk saw the jet black color that seemed to want to take away all life he pailed and started to break out in cold sweat, after the jet black color that was unfathomable the orb formed into a card that had my name on it along with my adventurer rank.If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Chapter 3.5 - Holy Maiden I was startled when the clerk shrieked, "Is something wrong?" When the clerk heard me say that, it looked like he was ready to explode, he shouted as he said, "You''re the Champion of Death! Champions aren''t common, but when a Champion does appear, every faction, kingdom, and empire will goto war with each other to get the champion on their side." My expression changed to puzzlement as I said, "Why? That''s quite stupid. I don''t plan on joining any factions, I only want to strive to achieve my goal." The clerk gave a hallow life. Meanwhile the groups of adventurer were talking amongst themselves, "She''s a Champion? So lucky." "Champion of Death? Is she going to kill the whole continent?" "Lets go tell the royal family in the capital that a Champion has come, maybe we can get a reward." I picked up my guild card as I turned around listening to the conversations, my eyebrow twitched as I listened to them. Just as I was about to yell that I''m not joining any factions, a girl in a white dress that gave off an aura of life approached me. She looked at me with unconcealed hostility before asking and the other adventurers started gossiping, "Isn''t that the Holy Maiden of The Church of Life?" "Ya, are they perhaps going to fight?" When I heard she was the Holy Maiden of The Church of Life, I looked at her with jealousy. After me and the Holy Maiden stared at each other for a minute, she opened her mouth asking, "What is your goal? To cause chaos and destruction or perhaps, destroy my Church of Life?" When she asked that, I was shocked by the conclussions she had thought of, I laughed before responding, "My goal is neither of those. My goal is to get revenge, and whoever stands in my way will be killed without hesitation." The maiden was cautious as she inquired, "Revenge on who?" I gave a sinister smile as I said, "The God of Death." The Holy Maiden gave a shocked expression before asking, "Are you trying to make a fool of me?" I sighed before showing her my information and told her to read my second title, she looked at me with a strange expression, "You''re quite an unusual Champion of Death..." I asked her before I went back to the inn to rest, "Would you perhaps join me in my journey of accepting death?" I hope she''ll say yes, I had a feeling my path will be filled with blood and darkness. I wanted her to be that gentle light that would keep my heart pure. After a moment of silence, she said, "Sure, afterall, aren''t we sisters now?" I smiled and said, "Ya."
When Aahna made a friend and skipped back to the inn she was staying at with a smile on her face, I was happy for her. But even so, I couldn''t help but think of a worse case scenario. "If she is betrayed by those arround her, I''ll personally vanquish them even if the universes were to punish my soul."
