《Masochist Berserker》 Prologue Jeriah never really had big ambitions, live a peaceful life in his village of birth, was all he really planned to do. He was never really an outstanding person or anything like that, he would go a little out of the way to help people who really needed it, or help when a friend was in trouble. He had even stood up for what was right on occasion, but at the moment it seemed like a bad idea to do so. Especially since the several dozen armed bandits currently raiding his small homely village would kill him if he dared voice his concern over them just waltzing in and taking what they wanted. Jeriah couldn''t believe his luck, he had turned sixteen not several days ago and this was his the way he got treated. ''My goodness one of these days i''m going to have a heart attack, those big angry guys with the swords really need to be careful where they swing them, they might actually hurt somebody.'' was the genuine thought of a young crimson haired and somewhat naive boy. This boy was of course none other than Jeriah. Jeriah stood at a few inches taller than most people, but not in the lanky way you would expect, Jeriah was well built but not overly so. His snow white skin belied the many hours he had spent in the sun working. Jeriah never had much, but he liked to think everything he had was because of honest hard work. He grew up an orphan, not even knowing his parents. He grew up a child of the village itself more than anything, they all let him stay in their homes and fed him until he was 12. At which point he started to work hard, and over the past four years he has done his best to provide for himself, while doing whatever he could for the village, and while the villagers had long considered whatever debt Jeriah thought he owed them payed, he disagreed. His outward appearance gave him a regal and almost unapproachable look, but once you got to know him he could easily be the nicest person you knew. The kids he grew up with always made fun of him, mostly because of his not having parents, but also somewhat because of their jealously of his striking good looks, but he didn''t mind. Only one girl from his generation had even spoken to him, and when she did they became fast friends, eventually becoming more than that when Jeriah asked Lucy to marry him a few days before his 16th birthday. To him it was the start of something great, the beginning of his new life with Lucy, providing for her and the village as best he could was all he wanted to do.The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation. Truly a far cry from the situation now, all of the villagers stood in the center of town. While there were more villagers than bandits, it wasn''t the first time bandits had raided their village. The Bandits usually took a few valuables and what food they needed to survive then simply left. So the villagers didn''t really see a need to try and fight back against the bandits. But like all great stories there is indeed a twist. Suddenly everyone began hearing a great rumbling noise outside of town, bandits and villagers both, were suprised by this. So eventually the leader bandit sent someone to see what was happening. After a few minutes there was good news and badnews, the good news was the bandit sent to investigate was back, the bad news was that his head was on the pike of what looked to be an entire horde of rabid lizardmen. 8 foot tall bipedal lizard monsters eager to destroy and pillage. You can probably guess where this is going am I right? Well chances are, you are oh so very right if you think what ensued was bloody slaughter and not a tea party for fae''s. (If you''re looking for a fae tea party, this is the wrong side of town if you catch my drift.) What happened next was indeed bloody slaughter, to quite a detesting degree honestly. Jeriah watched as everyone and everything that mattered to him was culled and put to blade and flame before his very eyes. That moment in which his village was burning down, that moment in which he lost his true love, that moment in which he felt that he had nothing left, little did he know just how much that moment would change his life forever. Whether for good or bad only Jeriah and whatever fate he had could tell. Chapter 1 In a lot of ways, Jeriah was and always had been a gentle spirit. But now, in this moment, something inside Jeriah snapped. It snapped in a major way, in that moment, Jeriah''s very way of life and how he saw it would be forever changed to a very serious degree. ''NO NO NO, THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING'' were the thoughts of the aformentioned boy. Jeriah looked to the left then right, not sure what he was searching for. Only to see the carnage still happening around him, much of the small village still ablaze. Lizardmen were still killing a few of the leftover bandits. By now most if not all the villagers Jeriah once knew were dead. As he came to realize this his vision switched back to the ground. It focused on a sword dropped by a bandit whom had tried to fight back against the lizardmen only to end up dead like the rest. As Jeriah picked up the sword it felt slightly heavy in his hand, but to Jeriah it was nothing compared to the weight on his poor shattered heart. Many thoughts were still running through his head at the moment, but one was much more dominant than the others. ''KILL'' was the thought that prevailed amidst the sea of emotion that was currently Jeriah''s brain. Jeriah looked up again and saw nothing had changed, lizardmen still killing, bandits still dying, and no living villagers in sight. It was then Jeriah decided he wanted to change that. Jeriah stood up from where he was kneeling in sorrow and disbelief, and set about the warpath. He trotted towards a lizardman whom had just finished killing a bandit, the lizardman looked up just in time to see Jeriah''s blade come down upon him. Jeriah looked at the lizardman with a now near split in half face on the ground in utter disgust and contempt. He then looked at the blade and felt he didn''t really find it heavy anymore, in fact it felt lighter than air, looking back at his surroundings he realized he had been surrounded, and that he was most likley the last person, bandit or villager, still alive. He had pierced the thinck scaly hide of the rather intimidating lizardman. There was no reason he couldn''t do the same to other things. Jeriah then lost himself in the following battle and recieved many grave wounds as well as dealing out even more, Just when he found the stupor of battle waning, he realized how hurt he was, and once again fell to his knees, this time suffering from physical rather than emotional pain. It wasn''t as bad as what had crushed his soul earlier, but it still kept him down, struggling with every ounce of anything he could use to attain vengeance before joining his beloved. Jeriah was bleeding from cuts and slashes all over his body, he couldn''t tell what was his blood and what wasn''t anymore, the former peasent clothes he was wearing were now in less than a tattered state. Only a very conveniently placed loincloth kept him from being stark naked. Jeriah knew the likeleness of him surving was very low, and that was if you didn''t consider the hundreds more lizardmen still surrounding him.The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement. Suddenly Jeriah recieved something that immediately made him feel like he still had, no hope wasn''t the right word, it was something far darker. [Attention, due to performing a special action worthy of such a thing, you have recieved a class, due to not being an adventurer you are being made one. You have recieved the class Masochistic Beserker.] He then started feeling very rejuvinated, though not actually in the creepy BDSM way his class might lead you to believe. Jeriah then asked for details on this class of his. [Masochistic Beserker: A Deviant of the class Beserker, while it has the same qualites of Beserker, it''s key difference is that the more hurt you are inside or out the more powerful you will get. Rather than just get the same power boost when angry, as the Beserker class does.] Jeriah felt surprisingly great now, not only had the mighty system he had always heard stories about suddenly granted him access to all it''s glory and possibilities, but now as bad as he was hurting emotionally and physically, he felt better than ever, not just powerful, but perhaps invincible. Unbeknownst to our young hero, if he could any longer be called that, let a grim smile fully overtake his face, his mania was overwhelming. He laughed long hard, as if he heard a joke that was just too much. What happened next only the sword really knows, as it was used to slay each and every last lizardman plaguing the former hamlet of it''s current wielders birth. Jeriah finally came to his senses after the battle had ended, and could only stand there in a daze, before letting out a roar of defiance towards the now smoldering ruins of his town and to the corpses of all before him. He then fell to his knees a third time and plunged his sword into the ground before placing his hands atop the sword in an attempt to keep from falling down. He then passed out refusing to lay down to die, he knew he wouldn''t be able to die standing up but this was better than the alternative of dying laying on the ground like a dog. What he didn''t hear was the sound of approaching hooves, as the kingdoms knights atop their galloping horses rode towards what used to be Jeriah''s village. Upon arriving at their former destination, which they had intended to defend from the lizardman horde, they saw that everything had come to ruin, yet somehow all the lizardmen were still defeated, they couldn''t understand what exactly had happened here, but felt they had failed in their duty to arrive at the town to defend it in time. All they could do was stare at the absolute desolation, in sorrow knowing that had they been here sooner they could have saved the village. While it wasn''t their fault and they couldn''t have gotten to the village faster they still felt terribel for what happened regardless. The mage of the group used a detect life scroll, and found only one living soul. They noticed a crimson haired seemingly unconcious teen, whom had still managed to stay on his knees holding onto a sword in the ground with many visible wounds all across his body many that they knew were very mortal, arrows filling him like quills to a porcupine, blood flowing like a waterfall on its period. Though this did not prevent them from grabbing him and with all haste returning to the capital quickly in hopes that the boy could somehow survive if gotten to a healer in time. Chapter 2 Jeriah woke up with a frantic start, it took him several minutes to calm down and realize he was alive. Upon said realization finally hitting him, he took the time to slowly scan around. What he saw, was in his opinion, quite the surprise. He swiveled his head and his gaze around the dimly lit room, not thinking about how it didn''t even hurt to turn. He seemed to be on some kind of bed, which was in turn is some kind of infirmary, judging by the counter with cabinets with medical supplies both on top and inside of it. Jeriah didn''t have to wait long for someone to come in so he could demand an explanation. ''The old me would have politely asked, hmph, well that''s not who I am anymore. I''ve been polite and kind my entire life, and look where that has gotten me.'' he thought grimly. What had happened briefly surfaced in his mind, but he pushed it away to be delt with at a later date. The person who came in was none other than some random nurse lady whom he didn''t know. He sat up to speak to her and made sure not to hide the killing intent in his voice, nor the icy tone of it. "Where am I." Startled by the sudden voice coming from behind her, she spun around quickly. "Ummm, you are in the royal castle, in the capital of Agartha. It''s good to see you awake, you''ve been out for almost a week you know." She said, almost completely unphased by his tone. Jeriah immediately stood up from the bed and was about to leave when he noticed that the only thing that had been covering him had been the blanket on the bed. The nurse blushed then left while saying "P-Please wait here, I''ll bring you some clothes, then you have been asked to meet with the king." Jeriah then promptly sat down back on the bed, feeling absolutely no shame. ''I wonder why her face was red, was she perhaps cold? No that couldn''t be it, had it been cold my member would be alot smaller. ... Ohhhhhhhhhhh, that was probably why, note to self public indecency should be avoided.'' In truth, Jeriah had always been somewhat dense when dealing with the finer gender. She returned a few minutes later while not looking into the room, and handed Jeriah some clothes, which consisted of, black soldier boots, black leather pants, and a somewhat softer than normal grey fabric long-sleeved shirt. He then got dressed, and combed his hair with his hand as best he could before walking out of the room and following the nurse to the royal throne room, where he could only assume he would be meeting the king. While on the way there, he wondered when they had taken his measurements for the comfortable and well fitting clothes he was now wearing. He blushed in embarrassment when the memory of how Lucy would make fun of him when the tailor was taking his measurements, as he was well known for going through clothes faster than most. It wasn''t his fault, really, trouble just seemed to find him. He then looked down at the thought that she would never do that again, as she was dead, no amount of clothes, teasing, friends, money, slaying, or vengeance would fix that. He was a failure, he wasn''t sure why he kept walking forward instead of just laying down there and dying. But still he walked on, determination in his eyes, just because no amount of any of that would bring her back didn''t mean he couldn''t try, he would be strong, be wealthy, and slay whatever he felt needed such a thing. The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. Jeriah entered through the large golden doors and instantly matched the gaze of the king, which he knew to be a sign of disrespect but he generally did not care, about anything. The king, a handsome looking man sitting on a goldnen throne with his family, in similar but slightly smaller thrones. The kings family consisted of the king himself, his wife, his two daughters and the crown prince. "Your majesty, presenting the only survivor of the recent lizard horde incident." said a plump man in fancy garb. The king then spoke to Jeriah, "Boy, what happened to your village?" In truth the king already knew all that had traspired at the village including the massacre and counter massacre. The king had even gone as far too have some royal mages use manager tools to record what had happened in magical video format. The entire present court had witnessed it, the king had meant for them to witness the monster horde so they would band together and put more effort into the war with the Demon Emporer, even if their country wasn''t under harsh threat of at the front lines, it would soon reach them and they would need all their strength when the time came. With that in mind the king was brought out of his thoughts when the young man spoke. "In my village, I had family, not blood family, but I loved everyone in it, some far more than I''ve ever loved myself or anything else. They took it from me, nobody takes from me, not without paying the price." Jeriah said bluntly, without any regard for what others would think of him. Everyone in the room was baffled by the response, hence the room wide jaw dropping. Why would such a young boy say such a disturbing thing, they understood he had been through a tradegy, but most people would at least try to not be so forthcoming about it. ... It took a few moments for anyone to even try to formulate a response to that. "You truly are strong to have defeated all those lizardmen by yourself like that, it would''ve taken the entire knight squad I had sent to ward them off, even then it wouldn''t have been a sure victory. Tell me, would you be interested in going to the adventurer academy here in the capital under my sponsorship?" Currently lacking a purpose, and knowing that it would be better for his mental state if he had something to busy himself with, Jeriah couldn''t see a reason to disagree. This would even help him become stronger, his manic smile returned and left in the blink of an eye. "Good, then we''ll have to pack you some things and you''ll be off by this time tomorrow."He said in a tone that was both jovial an brooked no argument. Chapter 3 It wasn''t long before Jeriah was already heading out to the magic academy, were to his knowledge, he would be tought all the necessary skills he would need for his class, and for whatever general fields of work and or study he would follow. He didn''t know what to expect when he got there, but he knew it would most likely have a drastic effect on his future. ''Not that my, or anyone else''s futures matter anyway.'' were Jeriahs'' now regular, but to most grim thoughts. It took several hours by carriage to get to the academey, the capital being the giant city it was, was fairly busy this time of day. The ride to the academy was nothing if not smooth, which in itself spoke wonders about how well built the road was. It also was a good example of how well Agartha was doing as a country, not just how well it''s capitol was doing. Jeriah stepped out of the carriage to see a relatively large building, even by capitol standards. It looked to be the first of several different buildings on the campus. After grabbing the suitcase filled with clothes the king had bought him, Jeriah gave a grunt of goodbye to the carriage driver then started walking to the gates of the academy. Before he could push them open they opened on their own. Jeriah decided that he didn''t really care about what infernal contraption the academy had to open the gate for him. A few seconds after walking into the gate, Jeriah was greeted by a very happy and excited looking woman in a blazer and pantsuit holding a clipboard. He had already assumed she was some kind of fairly important staff member. "Hello, you must be Jeriah, the boy the king sent here. We''ve been informed of your special circumstances and I on the behalf of the academy, am very sorry for your loss. Well since I already know who you are, I''m the headmaster here at the academy, I don''t normally greet new students in person, but i''ve been informed you already have a class and are fairly strong. With that over with, i''d like you to follow me to your dorm." Jeriah, stood there for a moment baffled by how anyone could ever be this outwardly happy, even during his happiest times in the village, he never acted like the human shaped ball of positivity that was the headmaster. On several levels its disgusted and confused him. None the less, Jeriah recovered from the initial wave of elation, hers that is, and followed her. After walking into the building and from the entrance hall, they took several hallways until the ever beaming headmaster stopped in front of room 420B. "Oh, here are the rules," she said before handing Jeriah a pocket sized book that said ''Rules of Adventurer Academy'' on the front, "this is your room, and everyone has a roomate. Ooooh one more thing, all the rooms are co-ed so your roomate could be either gender, or maybe neither gender depending on race, and be warned sexual activities are strictly prohibited regardless of what race or gender you or they are."Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. She then handed him a key and promptly left. Jeriah used the aformentioned key to open his room, fully expecting to find his roomate already in the room, probably doing something ridiculous and or annoying. What Jeriah saw instead was two empty beds on opposite sides of the room a desk and a end table on either side of both beds. A single bathroom was in the middle of the room and obviously had a door, logical reasoning pointed towards the door being for privacy reasons, but it was currently open. mainly because no-one was in it. Jeriah quickly realized that nobody else was staying in the room, and that was just fine with him, he didn''t really feel like spending any more time with anyone than he needed too. He knew he''d probably just spend his time brooding than talking anyway. Jeriah then spent the rest of the day putting his things away on his side of the room, which just so happened to be the right side. As well as getting his schedule from the front desk in the entrance hall. He saw several students in the halls, but chose to not interact with them. When he got back to his room, Jeriah decided to check out the bathroom. It had a shower/bath that had a hot and cold water function, a toilet of course, and a sink above a cabinet with some cleaning supplies in it. Out of boredom and a want to be clean, Jeriah took a shower, he may not be meeting or talking to people, but that didn''t mean he didn''t want to make a good impression in case he did meet someone tommorow. Jeriah had just gotten out of the shower wearing a towel that was in the bathroom, and was at his dresser getting some underwear to sleep in, when someone knocked on the door, Jeriah supposed that this would be his new roomate and went to answer it. Jeriah opened the door to a girl perhaps a year or so younger than him, with light green hair and deep aqua colored eyes, and somewhere between tan and light olive colored skin. " Hello, my name is Minari and i''m new to the academy, it''s nice to meet you." she then stuck out a hand, and expecting whoever was inside to shake it, finally looked at the person himself. This was the moment she realized she was standing in front of a both near naked and hot boy. It took her a moment of shifting her vision between his handsome and noble looking face, and his well sculpted and muscled body to come to her senses and politely look away. The scars that littered his body still fresh on her flustered mind. Jeriah didn''t really care that he was wearing a towel and only a towel, and shook Minari''s hand. He then made space for her to get into the room and when she shyly walked in while still looking away he introduced himself. " Hello Minari, I''m Jeriah I''m also fairly new here. Just got here this morning actually. I''ve already got the right side of the room, so you get the left. Need anything else just say something, I''m putting on some underwear and going to sleep." Minari could only stand there more than a little confused about how she ended up with such a shameless roomate. She allowed herself a small smile, one that spoke of desire and plotting. She hadn''t expected to be put in a room with such a handsome boy, no he was a man judging the rather large protrusion that still taunted her from inside the towel. She was better looking than most girls, but she knew she wasn''t as gorgeous as he was by miles, she didn''t know how she would do it, but he would be hers. Chapter 4 Jeriah woke up from the same dream he had yesterday. Him running from the village while it burned, because of his own fear. He did as he had with all other feeling similiar to this one, shoved it down were it wouldn''t matter, it was all just complicated bullshit, from his cynical viewpoint. Once again those feeling were shoved aside and he got up and dressed himself before setting out, not really all that worried about how he looked. It also didn''t help that his new roomate had apparently gotten up before him and already had the bathroom, and with his somewhat limited experience with girls, Jeriah knew enough that she would most likely be a while. Jeriah wasn''t really sure how everyone else was up so early, he was only up due to his having to wake up every morning exactly at dawn to work. He wondered how everyone else did it. They couldn''t possibly all be Farmers, hard workers, or simple village folk that were used to this kind of thing as he was. Deciding that there were more important things to do Jeriah let the train of thought pass by focused more on what his first class would be. Looking down at the schedule in his hands, he saw that is was as follows: Basic Weaponry, his first class as well as the class in which he would be tought the basics of whatever weapon he chose to use. Adventuring 101, a class usually for third year students who had access to the system, was his second class and the class that would teach him important skills and or tactics that any adventurer may need and information on how to use the system, of course usually what you were taught in this class depended on vocation track you were going into. When a student reaches second year they got to choose a vocation track, based off of what kind of job and or class they wanted to get in the future. Lunch was inbetween this class and the next. The next class was history, a self explanatory class that tought you the basic history of the kingdom and the world. His final class was Free period, a class where all of the first year students were put in as to help them acclimate to the new enviornment of the academy, and to make friends, Jeriah felt that he wouldn''t like that class, given his current mindset of ''why aren''t I dead and gone with everything else I valued, I hope they enjoy all the company I plan on sending them'' he probably wouldn''t get along with others all that well. All Jeriah could do was hope that they ignored him, and if everything went as he hoped it would, then he would keep to himself. The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation. Once Jeriah got to his first class, which happened to be at a sparring field on the academy''s campus, he saw that he was actually a bit late, and lined up with the rest of his class and waited for whoever the teacher was to get there and begin. The class as a whole only had to wait a few minutes before a little girl, shorter than most if not all of them were arrived and stood in front of the class. The only reason she most likely wasn''t confused as a student was that she was wearing the standard teacher uniform. After a few seconds of her standing in front of the class, she continued on with the monotone stare she had given all of them and spoke in a monotone voice that was more likely to fit a ten year old, assuming that this teacher wasnt actually a ten year old as her looks suggested. "Hello, to answer some of the questions you all might have, no I''m not ten years old, yes I''m the weaponry teacher, and yes I don''t like it when people ask a bunch of personal questions. All of you need to choose a weapon or weapons, off of the weapon racks off to the side of the field, remember this choice isn''t to be taken lightly, as that will be the weapon or one of them, depending on how many you can or intend to master, that you will be using for the rest of your life, you all are here because you children have shown that you have at least some potential as a warrior, otherwise you would have been sent to basic control over mana as your first class, so quickly choose, i''m not a patient person." Jeriah then walked over to the Academy lent weapons that he''d be using in this class. He then briefly considered what weapon he wanted to use before walking over to two identicle single handed axes, and weighing them in his hands before deciding that he would use these. They would do, all he wanted was to carve flesh from his enemies, and send them to the afterlife, where he silently thought that whatever he wanted dead would be better of there anyway. Chapter 5 Jeriah looked up from his newly aquired weapons just in time to see the teacher, whom he silently decided to start referring to as "loli sensei" beginning the class again. She spoke in the monotone yet childish voice she had used before. "If there is one thing I want all of you to remeber from my class, It''s that appearances are decieving, I myself am a weapon master and currently am better with more than 300 different types and variations of weaponry than any of you will be in your entire lives. So train hard if you want to be strong, I can help you, but I can''t make you work to achieve your goals." she looked around at all the students as she was saying this, unaware of Jeriahs anger at her arrogance, afterall, he would be stronger than she could dream of being, he knew it to be true. As her eyes landed on Jeriah she easily spotted him glaring at her. She saw such a thing as him questioning her level of skill and decided to make a good example of him to the class. In her hands briefly glowed before the aforementioned glow left her hands, leaving behind a pair of axes, one war axe for each hand, similar to Jeriahs. She hefted one at Jeriah, pointing it directly at him. She didn''t usually brutally go all out on a new student and send him to the infirmary, but she decided to make him an exception. Jeriah was surprised when loli sensei seemingly wanted to fight him, but who was he to look a gift horse in the mouth, he planned to make her see the error of her ways, arrogance was for the foolish, but he was not foolish, and therefore not arrogant, no he was the best there would ever be, he wouldn''t be capable of such things. He shook his head with a small smile on his face as he walked onto one of the sparring fields in the larger field. They stood opposite each other, looking each other in the eyes, both pairs of eyes turned to watch a pedal fall of a nearby cherry blossom tree. The moment it hit the ground they both took off, racing towards this new challenger in an effort to bash them into submission all the faster. Thier axes slammed into each other in an exchange most students couldn''t follow with their low stats. The teacher took a few steps away from Jeriah, genuine suprise in her formerly expressionless face.Enjoying this book? Seek out the original to ensure the author gets credit. "How do you have such high stats, aren''t you a first year?" "I may be a first year, but I''m far from naive or weak. Arrogance like yours disgusts me, how can you be that arrogant when in my presence, only I am capable of being the strongest. Be sure to remeber your place scum, beneath me." "Oh while I''m terribly aware of my place, what I have isn''t arrogance, it''s confidence in my well honed abilities. How about I show you instead of explaining." she finished, with sarcasm and confidence heavily dripping from the entire sentence. Jeriah just grunted having grown tired of her and her words, they both charged again. This time she was slightly faster than he was and reached him first as their axes reunited with each other, Jeriah smirked, it didn''t matter if loli sensei was faster he was simply too strong, or at least that was what he was thinking until he felt something collide with his stomach and ribs, hard. Jeriah was sent tumbling through the field at a speed most horses ran at. He stopped himself soon enough and looked up to see that loli sensei had kicked him, it seems as if he had more to learn, his eyes narrowed as he raised the level of danger she represented. He charged at her again and swiped at her with unpracticed swings not reinforced by technique, she merely sidestepped him and sliced open his back. Jeriah growled at the dastardly loli sensei, how dare she damage greatness. A look of anger made itself prominent on Jeriahs face, as his anger kept to new bounds, unintentionally making him even more powerful than he already was. Jeriah began swiping more recklessly, but with increased speed. This however did not escape the eyes of loli sensei, and she matched his speed and power for each blow, eventually disarming him with technique and skill she had gained over the years and eventually knocked him unconcious, though not without ruining his newest school uniform. His final conscious thought was about hubris, and how it led him here. He would learn from this. She had to admit, this kid was pretty good, but not enough, he was likely two hundred years younger than her, she had vast experience backing her. He would be strong one day if he got over his arrogance. If he was half as smart as he probably thought he was he would learn from this and become stronger for it. She would enjoy teaching him, probably anyway. Chapter 6 Jeriah awoke to light cascading through a window and into his eyes. At first he thought he had died, but realizing that he was in a bed then came to the conclusion that someone probably took him to some form of nurses office. "How many times am I gonna end up waking up in places like this, hasn''t even been three days since the last time, well probably, no idea how long I was out." He quietly muttered to himself, unaware of the nurse nearby who intended to respond. "Judging by how you got here, you''ll most likely be here a lot. Not many suffer from battle lust as badly as you do, that kind of thing makes you think you can take on the world. Most of the world won''t take kindly to such an opinion." Jeriah turned to look at the generic nurse whom had just spoken, she looked to be around her younger 30''s with blonde hair in a bun, a massive rack, and glasses that screamed ''sexy librarian''. He couldn''t see her butt but suspected it was nice as well. "Are you just going to keep checking me out or say something?" The nurse said smirking coyly. "So exactly how long have I been out? Last time it was 2 weeks, I''d rather not miss that much class, based off of how I got here I apparently have a lot to learn. " "Just a few hours realy, healing magic works well on internal injuries and your external injuries healed before we got to them. I don''t know how high your constitution and regen rate is, but you''re a tough guy. We didnt even have to do much to heal you. Might be your class, but thats your business. You''ve been cleared to leave, so do so at your leisure. If you hurry you might make it to lunch." She said before leaving the room her hips swaying as she walked out, confirming Jeriahs theory as she did. It sucked that he had missed a class, but he would make it tommorow. Jeriah then quickly put on the new uniform beside the bed and went about finding wherever people around the academy got lunch from. Eventually he asked a student for directions and Jeriah was directed towards a large cafeteria building. He stepped inside and was briefly under siege from the noise level, there were many people in the cafeteria and most of them were conversating with friends. He scanned the room looking for the food, and soon noticed the line on the far side of the room. He got in the line picked up a tray got food and soon enough found the nearest unoccupied table. If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. It wasn''t hard to spot all the people sitting at all tables around him whispering while taking the occasional glance at him. They were likely talking about him for some reason or another. He could guess as to why, and could only wonder how news of loli sensei thrashing him spread so fast. Little did he know that loli sensei beat a student like she did Jeriah once or twice a week. She was rather well known for being harsh in that way and sending students to the sexy nurse who looks like a sexy librarian. They were actually talking about him and looking at him because he was a handsome new first year student and seeing as how guys like him were pretty rare, he was a popular topic. Of course, he knew none of this, being as dense as he is. (God damn harem protagonists and their denseness) He was most of the way through his meal before anyone actually approached him, a 4th year guy well known around campus as one of the most eligible bachelors made his way to Jeriahs table and sat down in front of him. He had light brown hair cut short a handsome but warm looking face with blue eyes and a seemingly permanent friendly smile plastered to his face. Jeriah looked up from his meal in time for him to begin speaking. "Hey new guy, I couldn''t help but notice you sitting alone and ignoring all the ladies giving you the ''I want him inside me'' look. So I feel that it''s my duty as a senior to make sure you know how to score, know what I mean?" He said in a laid back ans suave tone as Jeriah just stared back at him both eyebrows raised before attempting to say something clever to the implications. Unfortunately all that came out was, "Uhhhh." "I''m Matthew, call me Matt. I could tell you weren''t a ladies man the second you walked in, so I thought I''d come help you before these women tore you limb from limb in a fight over you. Because trust me, they will, what was saving you was nobody wanted to be the first to approach you, now they''re likely to come over once I leave, so we better get out of here all quick like." He then grabbed Jeriah before Jeriah knew what was happening and pulled both himself and a highly confused red head out of the cafeteria. The coming talk would make him much more enlightened as to why they were staring and all the more awkward and uncomfortable because of it. Needless to say Jeraih would be conflicted in his lust for the ladies for several days afterward. Chapter 7 Jeriah sat in the back and in a corner inside of the room where history class was supposed to take place, waiting on the teacher and other students, as he was a few minutes early. He was thinking of all the new information Matt had helped him through. Thinking about something besides his recent trauma was nice, even if it was something as stupid as how to properly interact with, and if necessary romance, women. You could never tell what might become useful in the future. He doubted everything he had learned from Matt would be useful, the poor sap had no idea.(Hehehe.) The teacher chose then to enter the classroom. He had started setting things at his desk in the front before he noticed Jeriah. If he was suprised by Jeriah''s presence he did not show it. He was young and dressed in slacks and a sterotypical professor jacket. He also wore large sunglasses that gave him a somewhat comical appearance. He, after noticing Jeriah, went back to organizing his things in his desk. After a minute or so he finished and struck a Michael Jackson-esque pose and proceeded to stay like that while waiting for the rest of the students to arrive. Soon enough, after a couple of minutes of the teacher posing and Jeriah staring at him with squinted eyes like he was crazy, students started trickling in and briefly looking at the teacher and sitting down. When all the students were seated the teacher then whipped his head towards the class, his giant sunglasses nearly falling off his face. What he said next thoroughly destroyed any chance of earning respect from his new students. "Hey cool cats, i''m here to teach all you radical children about history. Isn''t that mad wicked y''all diggity dogs! Somebody give me a high five!" He yelled excitedly. He then ran through all the aisles of desks with his hands up to recieve high fives. Needless to say he didnt get a single one. Jeriah shook his head at his teachers antics, he missed the village more and more, not just for the people, but also for how peaceful it was. Now every other person in his life was quirky and different in all the wrong ways. He felt as if all these people making his life hectic and filled with annoyances would become a common theme in the coming days. During Jeriahs inflection all the other students around him were still looking at the teacher like he was a pink alien shooting rainbows out of every orifice, whom was also on fire while singing Hatsune Miku songs and doing his best impression of a boomerang in a tornado. (ROFL) The teacher once again stood at the front of the classroom and realizing he was on the recieving end of so many stares, he then sat down and shamelessly began class, still talking as he had been earlier. By the end of class most students didn''t even understand what they had been tought, but they had all managed to sit through it regardless.Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation. As class ended and all students rushed out of the room in an effort to leave this wierd anomaly behind, leaving towards their fourth classes of the day, the teacher called out after them with a statement that made intense dread arise in their hearts. "I''ll see all of you on the most excellent day otherwise known as tommorow my dudettes and dudes!" As Jeriah walked through the hallway to get to his next class "free period" he bumped into someone. They fell on the ground immediately, likely due to Jeriahs high stats. Jeriah looked at them as they collected themself off the ground. It was some fairly unnatractive and chubby boy who looked to be a first year as well. He had darkish but not quite black hair cut short on his head and a mole under one of his brown eyes. He was also shorter, but not more than a foot or so than Jeriah. After he had pushed himself up from the ground he looked to Jeriah. "Sorry about that, I wasn''t paying attention to where I was going and bumped into you, I''m Manso, not to be confused with my brother Mando. You''ll know him when you see him, he looks like me, but he''s alot smarter and more handsome. Anyway again so sorry, I gotta get to class." With that said he left scurrying past Jeriah and down the hall. Jeriah felt as though this was some kind of foreshadowing of events and he would end up meeting Mando and something annoying would surely follow. Ignoring the small event Jeriah continued to class and found himself late to said class, but it didn''t matter as there was no teacher for said class. He opened the door and everyone looked up from their conversations to see the intrusion and therefore him. Most went back to talking after a few seconds, but one girl continued to keep her gaze focused on Jeriah as he pulled a desk from a row with one hand and pulled it into an isolated corner in the back to sit by himself. Jeriah was in the process of ignoring the entire world so he didn''t have to socialize when he felt someones eyes practically locked onto his figure. He looked to the source of the aforemetioned stare and found a fairly attractive readhead, while her hair wasn''t as close a color to blood red as his, it was still noticeably sticking out like that color often did, more of a fiery color if you will. She looked to be a few inches shorter than him and had fierce features that spoke of a capable warrior. After she knew he noticed her she got up from her seat and walked to a student sitting near him, but not next to him and pushed said student from her chair before dragging the chair in front of Jeriah. He didn''t know what was coming next, but suspected it to be some form of confrontation. He was more than just right. Chaper 8 As the redhead came to sit in front of Jeriah facing him, Jeriah prepared himself for whatever confrontation was coming up. What happened next he could only take with a grain of salt and a lot of surprise. "You''re mine now." She half growled half purred whilst sensually looking Jeriah up and down as if inspecting an ingredient for dinner. That''s exactly what he felt like, a piece of meat to be bought and eaten at her leisure. "I-I''m-wha- um ahhh..." Jeriah barely managed to stutter out, while Jeriah is normally a badass motherfucker who takes no shit and gives less than he takes. He still found himself heavily flustered. He would probably never be completely immune to women and their charms. She at this point grabbed Jeriah by the chin and moved his face whilst viewing it from multiple angles. "Yep, I''ve been looking for some guy of your caliber for a while now, handsome face, well built, tall, and I''m told a decent warrior. You belong to Jordan Braun now, don''t forget that." She said after looking him over a few times. "Do I now?" Jeriah said finally regaining his backbone, and removing his balls from the metaphorical purse. The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation. "Yes, you do, now give me your name." She demanded more than asked. "My name, is Jeriah, do well to remeber it, for you will not be the one to own me, but I will own you. So be gone foul woman, before I put you in your place." Hearing this the entire class, which had been more or less talking amongst themselves and eavesdropping up until this point, gasped. Jeriah heard tidbits here and there around him, from what he could tell, the woman he had just begun arguing with was an heir to a powerful clan of martial artists and warriors, most of which had been high tier adventurers at one point or another. This had been the first time a man had the courage to defy anything she said, Jordan simply couldn''t believe it. This boy, no this man, his courage had earned him that at least, had fire. Growing up she had always been praised for anything and everything she did, because no matter what she tried she always won, suceeded, and excelled as well as thrived. She didn''t know how to feel, didn''t he know who she was? No he had to know, even if he didn''t know beforehand the conversations going on around them would tell him. She had to admit, she thought picking a husband would be far simpler than this. She would pick someone who fufilled all of her requirements, confront him, then he would submit to her will and that would be that, at least that''s how she expected it to go. Perhaps she should look elsewhere for a suitable male? Not a chance, she knew he was different from the rest, she wanted this one, and she would have him. "Hmm, yes, you''ll do. Don''t fail to meet my expectationsJeriah." She said before rising from her previously commandeered seat and leaving to sit where she had been earlier. Thier conversation leaving both participants with alot to consider.
