《Evolving World》 Test Run Prelude Humanity is a species that either through poop slinging evolution, alien anal probing, divine intervention of many kinds, or even a weird combination of all them, had grown to the level of world dominance that is still to this day expanding. It¡¯s a very strange phenomena as nothing in their natural toolkit warrants their talent for this level of growth. Examples: Skin naturally burns in sunlight, digestion is weaker than most species, susceptible to many diseases, easily dominated in strength by animals, senses are greatly dulled, and animals triumph them in speed. In general, they seem like a poor excuse of a species that can grow to the level of world domination. Even if we account their intelligence; we get a small selection of notable humans that innovated to drag the asses of pretty much the rest forwards. Then we get those that seem to drag them backwards. ¡°¡.rth to the ¡®great¡¯ philosopher!¡±(???) ¡°Huh? Did you say something?¡± (???) ¡°Jeeze, I swear that every day you get closer and closer to one day just ending up trapped in your mind. You¡¯re lucky that the boss likes the way you work, or you would have been out of a job from all the lazing around you do.¡± (???) ¡°I¡¯m sorry Amir, but sometimes I just question the way the world works¡and it all seems so¡fascinating. A lot of things don¡¯t make a lot of sense, and even the things that do, don¡¯t either.¡± (???) ¡°What¡¯s our ¡®great¡¯ philosopher thinking about today?¡± (Amir) ¡°The survival of mankind.¡± (???) ¡°Woah, woah, woah. Slow down there Alex. Can you explain it in a deeper level instead of giving me an ominous type of line that a 2nd rate superhero would say?¡± (Amir) ¡°Well I¡¯ve just been thinking that with everything that mankind was equipped with, it had no solid way of actually surviving. Even if they went through evolution, anal probing, and Zeus juice¡it just seems impossible for them to survive this long.¡± (Alex) Noise of plastic wheels were heard as Amir slowly turned in his computer chair to get a better look at Alex. He carried a look of disbelief, confusion, and acceptance. Amir would try to start talking but would quickly stammer with his words before closing his mouth in silence. He finally lowered his face into his hands. After a couple of minutes, he finally raised his head back and gave his reply. ¡°I don¡¯t know where to begin, but I¡¯ll start with anal probing.¡± (Amir) ¡°I don¡¯t know if I¡¯m ready for such a lifestyle change in my life Amir, I think we should wait until our feelings are more aligned and connected.¡± (Alex) ¡°Stop being an idiot and tell me what you meant about anal probing in your explanation! Please also explain ¡®Zeus Juice¡¯!¡± exclaimed Amir in a look of anger. ¡°Oh! I thought you meant¡anyways, I meant in as in the theory of aliens guiding the growth of mankind, and Zeus Juice as the divine intervention of gods or God messing around with humanity. Such as Zeus gracing female and male kind with his presence.¡± (Alex) ¡°I guess I can understand where you¡¯re getting at. We do seem like an ill-fitting species to survive this long after some thinking¡next time give a less ambiguous answer, so I don¡¯t get lost halfway in the conversation.¡± (Amir) After Amir finished talking, he looked back to his screen, and gazed intensely for few seconds. Realizing something, he jumped out of his seat and turned towards Alex while raising his hand and pointing. ¡°You idiot! I¡¯ve almost forgot that we need to turn in these design plans to the engineers, so they can get building the metal and electrical systems framework for The Energy Machine prototype.¡± (Amir) ¡°Hehe, I¡¯ve already turned in the electrical system designs and configuration before I got pondering! Who¡¯s the idiot now?!?!¡± Alex replied with a smug look. ¡°I sometimes hate you, you know that?¡± (Amir) ¡°You don¡¯t really think that, after all we make each other¡¯s lives interesting in this research base. Plus, your devilish Arabic looks wouldn¡¯t be as great if I wasn¡¯t the contrast with my above average Mexican beauty.¡± Alex posed with conviction. Amir returned to his seat and swiveled towards his computer. After some skillful manipulation that only Warcraft and Dota professionals could carry out with their hands, a sigh was left out. ¡°Well there we go; the metal framework designs have been sent. All that¡¯s left is for the science teams, and other engineers to double over and approve our designs. Once that¡¯s done, maybe we can deal with ¡®the survival of mankind¡¯ as you said. Hopefully with the program done, the energy needs of mankind will be met, and destruction of the planet will lessen.¡± (Amir) ¡°Since we¡¯re done. I¡¯m going to go eat and take a nap. The boss has been over-working us like mules.¡± (Alex)If you come across this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it. ¡°Who¡¯s been over-working you like mules?¡± (???) Alex turned around in surprise and stammered out an explanation. ¡°No-nothing sir! Amir and I just said we¡¯re going to go eat ass and rest up for the big day tomorrow!¡± (Alex) ¡°Is this what they call a master glib mouth?¡± Amir whispered behind Alex. ¡°I don¡¯t really mind your lifestyles but be sure to report early tomorrow as the test run will commence. Both our master mechanical engineer, and master electrical engineer will be needed at the test site. Continue on, I¡¯ll be leaving now.¡± (???) After (???) left, Amir gave his well practice look of pity to Alex. ¡°Nice moves bro. Great way to tell President Eastwood that we will be eating ass together. It¡¯s only a matter of time before the words make rounds in the complex and it turns into some gay fantasy between us. It¡¯s bad enough that the women in the lab have questioning looks with how much I hang around with you, but now it will just be looks of pity¡± Amir had a look as if resigning to his fate. ¡°Well it already happened so let¡¯s just go eat and sleep.¡± (Alex) ¡°Fine, but you need to pay for my food.¡± (Amir) ¡°So, it¡¯s a date?!?!¡± (Alex) ¡°Can we please just go eat?¡± (Amir) ¡°Sure thing desert prince of my dreams.¡± (Alex)
The following day, the duo woke up and did their daily necessities before heading to the testing site. At the testing site, they helped around by supervising work, heavy-lifting parts, and doing some final touches on T.E.M. At one point during the construction time a group of well dressed women and men arrived at the office of President Eastwood. The office was one of elegance, simplicity, and practicality. It however, still carried tinges of life from Eastwood as there was portraits, awards, and dog food. Yes, dog food. On Eastwood¡¯s lap there was a very well-known breed of canine that his family had been raising for decades; a corgi. While odd that the president of such a major research base came from corgi breeders, it wasn¡¯t impossible as many talents appear like weeds in the low-strung places of society. The men and women that came into his office were those that had funded the tools for the research into an alternative energy source that¡¯s safer, more accessible, and environmentally friendly. All the people assembled here were those that had more money than they could probably wipe their asses with or as quoted by one of them ¡°easily burn to keep warm the whole winter¡±, real tycoons. Their presence here was more of an entertainment for them than actual worry for results. Even if an explosion were to happen, they would still leave with a smile. ¡°I¡¯m glad to see all of you here today. As all of you know, we will be turning the machine on for a test run that will bring energy from a different dimension to ours.¡± (Eastwood) ¡°Glad to hear that Eastwood, but what are benefits of your base¡¯s research? My Chu clan wishes to know as we did pump ample funds into this little venture of yours.¡± (Mr. Chu) ¡°Well to address that question Mr. Chu, we need to start from the beginning. My initial team was able to use a small model of this larger machine to bring 1 energy note of this new energy through a small dimensional hole. Through some testing, we found out that this 1 energy note was able to produce the equivalent of 100 Watts of electrical power. It also didn¡¯t leave any residue like conventional coal-power, chemical power, and biomass power. Additionally, it didn¡¯t require cumbersome space like solar farms, wind farms, and dams. If our machine was the size of those, it would be able to power the state of Texas alone and still have enough energy left over for a smaller state.¡± (Eastwood) Of course, Eastwood failed to mention the side-effects that would happen to organic matter if it met this new energy. The side-effects weren¡¯t negative in the average person¡¯s view as it accelerated plant growth, healed minor injuries, and made the body a little more resistant. These effects were amazing, but not that great as they were relatively minor and didn¡¯t go past just that. Healing a paper cut wasn¡¯t miracilous enough to have these tycoons hollering, nor would never fearing a paper cut make them beg. ¡°That seems a little too good to be true Eastwood, are you sure you¡¯re not hiding anything from us?¡± said a woman with an engraving of a rose on her hat. ¡°No no, don¡¯t think of me as a scheming old man Mrs. Rose. I¡¯m just a researcher that wishes to advance humanity by triumphing over energy means, and hopefully using this energy to start exploring space. My passion has always been in the stars after all.¡± (Eastwood) ¡°Oh? So you did have a hidden motive you relic. Seems like I need to keep a guard against you¡± teased a young teenager with the latest fashion. ¡°Stop teasing these old bones Altair. Everyone has their own motives, just like how you keep chasing after a certain ¡®whom¡¯ who hasn¡¯t noticed yet.¡± (Eastwood) ¡°Y-y-you don¡¯t have the right to mention those matters¡± replied Altair with a blushing face. The woman in question was meanwhile, looking at the construction of the machine with a look of interest and pondering. Wondering how she could steal the plans so that she could use them to power her home that was a living energy sink. Do I need to even steal them since I¡¯m an investor? Can¡¯t I just have them build one next to my home? Wait, wouldn¡¯t that ruin the aesthetic of the area, etc. Many thoughts like these ran through her mind. The final man in the room who had just been passively existing finally decided to throw his two cents into the conversation. ¡°When will global production start? What markets will it hit first? It¡¯s not like you won¡¯t get approval as each of us here carry our own weight in any country, a few words will fix most problems.¡± (???) ¡°Eh, I¡¯m not so keen in those matters. Truthfully, I would think of it leaving it to you Mr. Cleo as you seem to be more well versed into this type of area. My only opinion would be to start in the poorer areas of the world as those are at the bottom of society, and lack even the basic systems that most places have.¡± (Eastwood) ¡°I didn¡¯t take you for a sympathizer type of guy. I¡¯ll take your offer if no one else disapproves¡¡± (Mr. Cleo) ¡°Just think of it as a gift to my dead wife. She did come from the poorest area of Africa.¡± (Eastwood) After that sentence many gave their nod and approval after an internal vote which consisted of them first getting the technology before sharing it with the world. It wasn¡¯t a very large request as the people they could hire with their money could have it completed within two weeks. ¡°Ah, we all forgot that T.E.M hasn¡¯t even been tested. Let¡¯s all sit around and watch the test run.¡± (Eastwood) After that, everyone sat in the various couches around the room that had a gaze towards the machine. They did engage in minor conversations among themselves on current world matters, items they had bought, and which food was their favorite. A bell ran through base signaling the commencement of the test run¡ Test Run The first test run for T.E.M. was in its starting phases as final safety protocols had to be followed. After all, nuclear bombs were great examples of what happened when great deals of energy went havoc in an area and no one really wanted to die in a fiery inferno. Even If they didn¡¯t die, the resulting radiation would completely destroy their futures as the medical profession still wasn¡¯t advanced enough to regenerate large limbs and completely cure mutations that stemmed from radiation. Many scientitsts, researchers, and engineers could be seen moving through the areas of the machine. The giant piece of metal was located in an open field rather than a restricting room and many of the personnel would of rather had it indoors as they didn''t want to be out in the blazing sun, but who knew what ran through the mind of President Eastwood? They could only grovel, and continue following the orders of the person who paid their checks. Finally, after 20 minutes of final checks, it was time for the test run to begin. To commence the test run, an alarm was rung. Everyone, following the already in place protocols, kept a safe distance from the machine once they heard the alarm. Amongst all these events Alex and Amir were having a conversation. ¡°Wowww, it looks like our baby is all grown up Amir! It¡¯s been such a pleasure having you accompany me in this long journey. You¡¯ve been a great father and husband¡± said Alex as he wiped away fake tears. ¡°I don¡¯t remember ever marrying or having a child with you. Even if I was to have a child, it would be with a woman that is my equal in beauty and smarts¡± replied Amir with an air of arrogance. ¡°So, you never loved me!¡± spat out Alex hysterically. ¡°Even after that night of fiery passion, you still don¡¯t want to acknowledge me and our child¡how could I have fallen in love with a cold man like you¡¡± Alex put on a face as if he was wronged. As if growing bored with their conversation, a woman with round glasses and Chinese features, interrupted their antics. ¡°Can you guys stop with your shitty acting, even the low rung dramas in China aren¡¯t this bad. If you¡¯re going to put on the face of a wronged wife, you need to put more emotion into it¡± she then faced Amir, ¡°And you¡¯re not putting up an abusive front enough. If you¡¯re going to play the cold handsome lover who has plucked a flower, you need to at least crush the flower underneath your words. Heh, what could a bunch of amateurs like yourselves ever understand about the complexity of acting.¡± ¡°Are you going to keep watching while this woman defames me hubby??? Have you really abandoned me¡¡± said Alex while his acting went to the next level as ¡®real¡¯ tears started falling. ¡°I think Ms. Chang is correct though, our acting will never get us any awards. Also, why do I have to assume the evil husband role! I¡¯m not the type of guy to break a woman¡¯s heart by leaving her. Plus, can you really say that as a man that you¡¯ve birthed a child.¡± (Amir) ¡°Who says a man can¡¯t have a child? What if I¡¯m a rare case that with genetic mutation, can be impregnated. Secondly am I even entirely ¡®human¡¯ and not an alien that came to Earth to save my species by having a child with the best specimen I found?¡± (Alex) ¡°Not to interrupt your horrible drama plot, but T.E.M is about to start¡± piped in Ms. Chang. All kinds of machinery started, their sounds ringing out through the air. Pumps started their oscillating rhythm in a slow matter as they gradually built up speed, all kinds of exhaust fans started to drive out the gradual heat that was building up, steam was also building up from the various pipes that pumped in cooling liquids to the electrical systems, and lastly was the zapping that rang out between two coils as they exchanged electricity between them. ¡°Tesla would be proud with those coils, look at the various types of colors that are coming out. It kind of reminds me of when I lived in Texas and stayed for a category 5 hurricane. Kind of stupid now that I think of it, but it resembles the lightning I think I saw.¡± (Alex) ¡°Are you sure you weren¡¯t smoking something? I¡¯m pretty sure that normal hurricane conditions don¡¯t warrant lightning of various colors. It does exist, but certain conditions have to be met, like the green lightning that arose above black ash that spewed out from a Volcano.¡± (Amir) ¡°I think I remember studying this in college¡if I remember right, various conditions like temperature, dust, gas composition, and humidity in the air affect the ¡®look¡¯ of lightning. In this case the color of the electricity.¡± (Ms. Chang) ¡°Sooooo what are we supposed to be watching for?¡± (Alex) ¡°It still isn¡¯t time, give it a couple of minutes and the second systems will condense the activity between the coils to open up a small dimensional hole. At that point, the energy that comes out will also be condensed into theoretically a crystal.¡± (Ms. Chang) A bell rang out through the air for the second time. ¡°Ms. Chang, did you calculate with your fingers? You seem to predict everything before it happens.¡± (Amir) ¡°I¡¯m not a fortune teller, I¡¯m just paying attention to the timers on the digital screens that are literally everywhere¡± she said as her finger pointed at the various screens around the complex. ¡°¡.¡± (Alex) ¡°I think of myself as perceptive, but how did I miss those?¡± (Amir) ¡°Mostly, because you guys kept flirting around with your shitty drama.¡± (Ms. Chang) ¡°Hey look, a hole finally opened up!¡± Alex pointed out. At that point in time, a dimensional hole began to unveil in front of everyone. It was a very strange occurrence as everyone could see into the hole, but there was simply nothing beyond it. Just an emptiness. Yet, everyone could feel that something was leaking out of the hole or should they call it a portal as they were transporting energy from it? The leaking energy began to coalesce into a dark red crystal that was suspended in the air. It wasn''t that fascinating as the dark red crystal resembled the size of a pill used by many veteran warriors. However, it grew with each passing second, becoming bigger and bigger. ¡°Hey look, it¡¯s the size of the world¡¯s biggest diamond now.¡± (Alex)Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. ¡°How much energy are we exactly getting out of this thing?¡± Amir asked with worry as the crystal kept growing. ¡°Somewhere around a medium dog¡¯s size.¡± (Ms. Chang) ¡°Then can you explain why it¡¯s the size of a cow now?!?!¡± Alex asked with uncertainty in his voice. ¡°What are those idiots doing!?! We were only conducting a test for a small sample!¡± Ms. Chang said with horror as the crystal was now the size of a whale. Various scientists began to run around the complex to see if any systems had gone awry or malfunctioned. However, all scans of equipment came up as positive; nothing was wrong with the test. Even the physical components of the machine were fully functional with no degrees of damage or overheating. In contrast, as more energy was pumped out, the machine ran more efficiently. It was as if it was improving itself the longer it went. Eventually, the crystal reached the size of a whale, quite majestic actually. What was insane was that once it reached this size, it condensed until it went back to its original size of a pill. Only this time it had a change in color; it was orange now. ¡°Is it finally over?¡± Alex said as he hid behind some boxes. ¡°I think you spoke too soon!¡± Amir exclaimed as the process started repeating itself. T.E.M went through several rounds of growing the pill size object to the size of a whale before condensing. Expansion and contraction. The colors kept changing. From the initial dark red of its creation, it went through the following colors: orange, yellow, green, blue, dark blue, and violet. It continued after violet, but no one could see the changing colors as the human eye couldn¡¯t comprehend any more due to its restrictions on the spectrum it could see. Its influence on T.E.M was finally noticeable to everyone on the visual level as it had physically changed from handling this new energy. The metal components had gone from a steel gray color to a blacker color. From there it simply looked as if it was shedding like an insect as the black color eventually fell away to reveal a violet type of metal. Its efficiency had greatly surpassed of what the materials it was made of were capable of. It ran at cooler temperatures than any equipment thought possible, and its digital processing was at the level of a super computer from a year ago. It all suddenly stopped. The crystal had gone through its final contraction. T.E.M turned all its systems off. At a closer inspection, the crystal resembled a seed. Only that it was violet in color. What happened next astounded everyone. The seed sucked T.E.M into it. Yes, it just absorbed T.E.M into it in a second. A machine of that size simply went woosh and vanished. Once done with absorbing T.E.M the seed drilled into the ground and disappeared like nothing happened. Silence filled the complex. The voice of President Eastwood then filled the complex from the various speakers. ¡°Can anyone tell me what the hell just happened?¡± (Eastwood)
Currently, the seed had only one mission; reach the center of the planet. It didn¡¯t possess intelligence nor consciousness. Yet, it moved with conviction. A conviction that would have it reach the core. It dug deeper and deeper into the Earth, going past underground rivers, fossils, and the ever-present rising temperature. The boiling temperatures didn¡¯t affect it at all even as it went past the mantle of the planet that could melt the most durable metals. After a little bit of swimming, it reached the outer core, and punctured into its semi-solid state. Its journey continued, but it wasn¡¯t long before it reached the solid metal core of the planet. Its mission was almost over, it drilled into the solid core with no difficulty. A short journey after, it was at the center of the planet. The absolute in the definition of center. It was then that a command prompt, the first on this planet, appeared in front of the seed.
Germinate
The seed had only one desire, and that was for it to fill the planet with the very same energy that it was made of. It began to break down and infuse the area around it with the energy it carried. This energy began to leak in all directions. It would take time before the abundant concentration at the core would disperse and completely fill the planet. The place of its birth, and future life.

Meanwhile, everyone in the research base was inside the large auditorium in the complex. This auditorium was used very rarely but was still needed as debriefs for certain projects couldn¡¯t be done in a small office. As for why everyone was here¡ it was due to one reason only and that was the disappearance of the project they had poured their time, sweat, and the investment of the tycoons¡had simply just done that, disappeared into thin air. ¡°I¡¯ll reiterate my previous question. What the hell just happened?¡± (Eastwood) ¡°The crystal after showing some anomalies took over our equipment and used it to power itself to unimaginable levels¡± responded one of the many scientists. ¡°Any particular reason as to why it happened?¡± (Eastwood) ¡°Well¡we don¡¯t really know¡¡± said an embarrassed female scientist with her team behind her supporting her. ¡°So, you guys are as clueless as me¡± said Eastwood with noticeable tension in his voice. ¡°Can an engineer tell me why the machine seemed to change?¡± It was at this moment when the mechanical engineers delegated Amir to respond to Eastwood¡¯s question. ¡°Well¡after some analysis we have concluded that the large amount of unknown energy had mutated the metal by shedding out the impurities that would make it a poor conductor in a sense. As for why its capabilities improved¡we are unsure and think that it had to do with the strange energy influencing it to¡improve.¡± (Amir) ¡°What about its processing capabilities? Why did it have such a large spike in its performance?¡± (Eastwood) ¡°That¡¯s mostly attributed to the improvement of the metal. The metal was improved to unimaginable levels that raised its conductivity, while also improving its cooling capabilities. It was able to run at lower temperatures, which is always good, in contrast to traditional computers that generate large amounts of heat which slow them down and was also able to transfer responses between the various machinery faster in results to its conductivity.¡± (Alex) ¡°Hmm¡we will build a second machine but this time we will be more careful and restricted in the immensity it can generate. Just the benefits alone of how it mutated metal can make it a desirable world good. For now, everyone can take a week off while our systems try to find where our crystal energy went¡¡± (Eastwood) With those words, Eastwood dismissed everyone from the auditorium. Of course, many of the scientists instead of rushing to their break, rushed into their labs to try to find out where the energy crystal went. They were greatly concerned with that level of energy¡accidentally going off somewhere¡ As for our dynamic duo, they were going to greatly enjoy their work-free week¡ A long night Heavy panting was heard, heat radiated around, and the smell of sweat permeated around the two men. They had been performing activities with the occasional grunt and the cry of pain leaving their mouths from time to time. ¡°Did you have to be so rough!?¡± (Alex) ¡°It¡¯s not my fault that I have all this pent-up energy. This stupid project has had me holding myself back. Any longer and I would have exploded on anyone nearby!¡± (Amir) ¡°When you asked me if I wanted to work out with you after that meeting in the auditorium, I didn¡¯t expect to go through the combination of an Olympic runner and a body-builders work out plan¡± a cry of pain then left Alex¡¯s lips. ¡°This wouldn¡¯t have happened if you just done stretches before we began.¡± (Amir) ¡°It¡¯s not like I was hoping for this to happen! If you hadn¡¯t teased me by telling me to catch up with you, I wouldn¡¯t have ended up like this.¡± (Alex) Amir then stopped his skillful hands that had been massaging Alex¡¯s leg the whole time. He then left out a sigh, he knew that he should have expected something to go wrong especially when it involved this idiot. Sure, Alex was a great thinker when it involved matters he thought deep into and that was the reason he playfully called him a philosopher, but for others, he was lacking. Letting out another sigh, Amir finally responded with, ¡°At least you only got a cramp from overworking your leg muscle and not an actual tear from pulling a muscle.¡± ¡°While we¡¯re talking about over-working¡how long have we been here exactly?¡± said Alex with uncertainty in his voice. ¡°According to my watch, we been here for around two hours¡± replied Amir as he checked his digital watch. ¡°YOU¡¯RE TELLING ME THAT I¡¯VE BEEN HERE FOR 2 HRS!?¡± (Alex) ¡°No need to scream.¡± (Amir) ¡°No wonder I felt like I was having hunger pains¡I thought it was just my abs getting sore¡¡± (Alex) ¡°Are you only motivated by food?¡± (Amir) ¡°I didn¡¯t get a chance to grab a bite during lunch time as I had to solve some issues¡anyways I¡¯m going to go eat, want to come?¡± (Alex) ¡°I guess I have no other choice, hopefully there¡¯s still food, after all its 10:00 P.M.¡± (Amir) ¡°You don¡¯t have to worry about that, everyone in this research base is practically a nerd! Everyone knows that nerds like to snack when they¡¯re stressed out. With recent events¡I expect the cafeteria workers to be working overtime in satisfying the salt and sugar craze everyone will have.¡± (Alex) ¡°If you say so¡¡± (Amir) The pair made their way through the various buildings before reaching the perimeter of the cafeteria. Various smells drifted from the inside of the cafeteria, but they weren¡¯t unpleasant in their origin. Instead they carried the promise of a delicious meal. Voices of different types could be heard, regardless of gender, language, and strength. Movement of people was seen through the glass doors and windows that littered the front of the building. ¡°I told you that there would be lots of people¡± Alex stated as they made their way into the cafeteria. ¡°I didn¡¯t expect there would be this many people.¡± (Amir) ¡°Well, would it make you feel better if I said that it was a lucky guess?¡± (Alex) ¡°Not really.¡± (Amir) ¡°Well that¡¯s too bad¡HEY LOOK! There¡¯s people drinking!¡± (Alex) ¡°It seems that people couldn¡¯t restrain themselves any longer. Well we do have a week of break time, so everyone is going to indulge in their various desires.¡± (Amir) ¡°Y-you don¡¯t think that people will be¡ ¡®doing those types of activities¡¯¡± said Alex as he made quotation marks with his hands to accent his point. ¡°Don¡¯t be , we¡¯re all adults here. It wouldn¡¯t be strange if they have been going on through the whole project time. We did get private lodgings included in our contracts and they¡¯re also located in the base as to reinforce our confidentiality.¡± (Amir) ¡°I thought that was more of a ¡®Here¡¯s one of the benefits, join our program¡¯ type of offers to attract people to join. I didn¡¯t expect they would plan that far ahead¡I can only respect President Eastwood for his foresight.¡± (Alex) ¡°Can we stop standing around and grab anything. We¡¯re getting stared at¡¡± said Amir while displaying how uncomfortable he was. ¡°Fine, let¡¯s go¡. I think I saw a deli section. I know how much you care about your health and all that junk¡± responded Alex as he guided Amir. ¡°It¡¯s not junk! I just don¡¯t want to go back to how I used to be. I used to be more chunky and full of pimples as I didn¡¯t take care of myself¡¡± (Amir) ¡°Woah, Mr. Arab Hottie used to be THICC?¡± (Alex) ¡°Shut up, you know what I mean.¡± (Amir) The two eventually made their way to the deli. Amir to showcase his obsession with his health got: tuna salad, tomato soup, and an avocado sandwich. Alex being more lenient got a sub with meatballs, avocado, lettuce, bacon, pepper jack cheese, spinach, cucumber, pickles, and jalapenos. The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement. ¡°How the hell are you going to shove that in your mouth¡± questionably asked Amir. ¡°I can fit bigger things in my body baby¡± responded Alex as he winked seductively at Amir. ¡°That¡¯s gross man.¡± (Amir) ¡°You¡¯re gross for thinking wrong. You¡¯ve obviously never seen what Texan size food looks like.¡± (Alex) Their late-night meal continued on like this. The conversation between the two were in various shades of meaningful talk, flirting, and snacking. An hour later, 11:00 P.M., the two ended their late-night talk and split up as they headed to their own residences. Alex reached his residence after a couple of minutes and opened it with his keycard. He kicked his shoes off and went straight to sleep.

¡°How would it feel if I couldn¡¯t get full from food?¡± he pondered, ¡°Sounds fucking depressing. Sure, I could enjoy more food, but I wouldn¡¯t get the satisfaction from a full stomach. Also, what¡¯s with the whole ¡®getting killed by your own children¡¯ part, this beast¡¯s life just sounds like a tragedy. Sorry, but not the life for me¡± he then clicked on the N. Alex then continued scrolling through the list that seemed to span for ages. ¡°I sure have some kinky ass ancestors with how many bloodlines there are. Is there a way to make a quick search? Only one way to find out¡Search up vampire!¡± the list then disappeared, and a blue textbox appeared.
Vampiric The Vampiric bloodline spans through a variety of tribes, but they all hold one thing in common; they feast on substances from living beings. Substances can vary between: blood, flesh, souls, life energy, mana, and emotions. The most iconic tribes are the Vampyr (namesake) and Succubus/Incubus. Your bloodline descends from the Vampyr tribe. Y/N
¡°Seems like I¡¯ll get the unique history of the bloodline, but not it¡¯s benefits¡I¡¯ll choose this one as my first since vampires are pretty cool¡± he then clicked on Y before the blue textbox disappeared and another one took its place.
Choose (2) more bloodlines
He waved the textbox away, and the list once again took its place. ¡°What¡¯s another cool mythological being? Dragons! Can¡¯t go wrong with dragons!¡± After a quick search he got two options.
Draconic Child of Lucifer
¡°Well this sure seems ominous, only one way to find out¡¡± clicking on the second option he got¡
Child of Lucifer Lucifer was the ultimate creation of a divine being of immense power. After displeasing his creator, he was casted out of his home; alongside his followers. He lost his rank as a Seraphim in the divine court, but still managed to keep a pair of wings. During his fall, his true form was revealed and resembles a serpent with a pair of wings albeit more royal; a dragon. His followers to be closer to him, transformed themselves to different types of dragons. After coming to terms with his banishment, he helped push the civilizations of the Far West & Far East. Y/N
¡°He doesn¡¯t seem like that much of a bad guy, he¡¯s also a Dragon which is even cooler! It also makes perfect sense now! Both the Chinese and Mayan civilizations have depicted dragons to be divine beings in their legends. It however, seems like Lucifer had a greater hand in the Mayan civilization. Reinforcing that notion is that both civilizations have their origin in the stars¡but how do the other deities come into play? Wait, I¡¯m getting too immerse in this dream¡¯s lore. I should continue so I can get to the fun part! I have never been this excited for a dream¡± Alex quickly click on Y. He dismissed the notice for the final bloodline. ¡°Let¡¯s search up beings that deal with space!¡± after a few moments a screen appeared.
The Grays The Grays are an interstellar race that travels through the stars in search of life. They long ago discovered this planet and have been involved heavily in its growth since. Their experiments in genetic manipulation have time & time again mixed their genes into humanity. Note: Peaceful race with an abducting hobby; crash from time to time Y/N
¡°Why the fuck is there aliens in this game-like dream??? Why do they have a special note! Do I really need to know their abducting fetish and subpar piloting skills???¡± said Alex in desperation. After recovering, he sighed before speaking ¡°I guess I can only continue looking for a third bloodline, or throw the dice and become a kidnapping expert¡that could be fun if I use it on Amir. Well I''ll decide that after I see my other options.¡±
