WE HAVE A VERY TALENTED CONTESTANT THIS DAY!!! A GIRL BEASTMAN!!! CODE: HALBERD!!!" The iron gate slowly opened, what came out of it is a girl with golden hair and a similar characteristic to a wolf, the arena named her Halberd. "HER CHALLENGERS ARE!!..... A monster named Cyclops appeared and twenty of them occupied half of the arena. "NOW!!!LETS ENJOY THE SHOW EVERYBODY!!" An explosion explode from the sky, must be fire magic, it''s the signal to start the battle. Halberd ran towards the group of Cyclops, the Cyclops seen the tiny girl approaching them, the Cyclops alarmed the others and raised their clubs aiming at the frail girl. As the distant is closing, the clubs have been swung to the Beastgirl, the Cyclops seemed confuse because they didn''t felt any response from their clubs, they search the surroundings. After a while, one Cyclops screamed with agony, it''s eye have been pierced by a white light. Looking closely, the white light is actually the Beastgirl clad in lightning, the Cyclops have been furious they attack the Beastgirl. The Beastgirl successfully dodge the attack and the injured Cyclops have been hit instead. The Cyclops not sensing the small Beastgirl have its eye pierced and fell to the ground, dead. The Beastgirl continue its plan and steadily killing the Cyclops knowing the weakness of them which is the eye. But not all the time luck was on her side, a club hit her frail body and sent her flying landing on the wall of the arena creating a crater. "Battle magic: Defense Up *cough..guess my magic is a little late." Blood came out from her mouth. "But, I''m not done yet!" As I held my new halberd on my right hand, I paid close attention to the map which I receive from Ms. Matilda, after I wake up I eat my breakfast and ask Ms. Matilda if she have a map then she handed me a map of the city. "There it is!" I''m looking at a two-story building made of wood. The entrance is a wooden veranda and inside the building are people wearing various kinds of armor and holding different weapons. This establishment is called "Adventurers Guild" a guild that receive quest from various people in exchange of a reward money, the adventurers accept the request whether if it was about monster subjugation or escorting nobles on their travel, there are various quest that has been put on the bulletin board. This is a job for capable people to earn more income than various people on this city, well the income is deferent for other adventurers, the higher the rank of an adventurer the higher income they will receive. The ranks dictates on which kind of quest you will be receiving, the lowest rank are F which can only receive work inside the city and doesn''t have any combat experience, the highest rank is S. Rank S adventurers are some sort of heroes of the city, they can subjugate higher ranking monster like dragons and more, the rank system is to help the adventurers gain experience. If a rank F accept a quest to subjugate a dragon then surely the lower ranking adventurer will die, in order for your rank to increase then you must received various request to increase your own combat abilities. You will then enter an examination to test your combat capabilities. I learned this things from asking a battle slave on the arena, that slave is a former adventurer that has a huge debt and since he hasn''t paid it he turned into a slave, that slave though is not here anymore. There''s a forest south of the city, it''s called the spring forest, because this forest has a lot of greenery and also has plants with variation of colors that make this forest good for camping. Also this forest inhabitants are just low ranking monsters. This God also created various world that differ from the others, some may be made up of water and some are made up of fire. Among those worlds, various lifeforms are living, we are some of those lifeforms. The God of creation is happy of his masterpiece and begun to sleep, his sleep are for eternity, his powers where scattered across the whole universe, and that is we called mana. Mana is the fuel for magic also the very blood of the worlds. After the eternal sleep of the creation God, new lifeforms emerge from his skin, various gods appeared, they started to take control of each worlds gaining possession of it. But one God wants the whole universe for himself, this God is the ego of the creation God. With his power, he created monsters and demons with akin power of gods. He dispatch those things to various worlds to create chaos and strife. Of course the other gods didn''t just watch, with the power of the gods, they created magic, magic are powers that is also similar to the power of gods and being handed to the inhabitants of all the worlds they protect. The inhabitants of the worlds started an all out war against the evil God. Until this day, the war still is on, but due to being overwhelmed by the power of several gods, the evil God goes into hiding and let his minions do all the work. Well, thanks to them, adventurers have a way to earn money. The status system is a system that gods gifted to all their people in order for them to take control of their own skills. Skills are a type of blessing that resonate to the soul of the beholder. There are five types of skills: Active skill, Passive skill, Unique skill, Secret skill and also Godly skill. Active skill are the very basic, this skill are limited to everyone. Passive skills are skills that didn''t have to manually activate, it''s also a skill that is limited to anyone, this skill is like the power your body possesses that didn''t require mana, just your own body. Unique skills are rare kind of skills that only few individual possess, I possess my own unique skill, this type of skill are skills that born with your soul, this skill is one of a kind that''s why it''s called unique. Secret skills are skills that you naturally possess but is still dormant within you, in order to obtain this skill one must understand itself in return a powerful skill unleashes. Godly skills are skills that uses divine power, this skill are the rarest of the rare, those with this skill possesses divine magic or power that is similar to the gods. You can gain it by reading a grimoire. Skills have 10 levels, in order to level up skills is to level up yourself. Every 10 level you gain you earn yourself a new level. It''s rather difficult to explain, active skills and passive skills level up the more you use it in your battle. Unique skills level up with your growth, on the 10th level you gain a level up points for your unique skill, after this it will be harder, after the 10th level you need to multiply it by two to gain another level. Secret skills don''t need the leveling system and same with the godly skill cause in order for these skill to be more powerful is depending on the user''s own mastery of it. Lastly, the attributes. Attribute define your own capabilities, strength, agility, defense, magic, and vitality. It''s also has ranks on its own, F for the lowest and SSS for the highest. The higher your own attribute rank the more powerful you are. You can raise its rank through hardships and training. Chapter 4- Quests and Training "Here you go!" I receive the reward money, five copper coins. Currently I''m back in the guild confirming the completion of my request. Since I''ve finish the quest early, I have a lot of time and since there''s a training ground at the back of the guild, I took the leisure to train in it for a while. Since people on the guild lessen because they take subjugation quests I can train as I want. Subjugation quests are more profitable than normal quests so a lot of adventurers take it. I held my halberd firmly, in front of me are a wide empty space. There are also straw dummies stuck on the ground for practicing and also several weapons at the side.
