Everyone loves them because they make you special and i''m very special.Why? Let''s start with some information. I have technically 2 bodies with porcelain white skin, something possible with changing genders whenever I want to. In my female body starting with long waist lenght golden hair, red eyes with slits, a symmetric face and B-cup, almost C-cup breasts. Body height around 1.5-1.6m. Quite small but managable and gives advantage in fights. Now the male version going with neck lenght white hair, red eyes with slits, sharp looking face and body height around 1.8-1.9m. slender, yet muscular build. Both versions can be described in a single world beautiful. The peak of beauty. Now about this ancient vampire thingy. When Yggdrasil was still a game many called me ''The strongest player'' . While being TOP 1 Player where ever its possible and accumulating many treasures that whole guilds fight for. I didnt think much about it at that time Yggdrasil was everything for me without a world to comeback to, without anyone. My actual situtation caused a GM allowing me to change many things with my character as thanks for the biggest supporter of the game. It really helped me after the shut down as it wasn''t required of me to use my world items to alter reality, so i chaned for example my race and deleted many wekanesses that other still have making me more powerfull than ever beacuse ancient vampire race was created by me in my last day of the game. It didnt matter anymore so at that time I thought ''Why not? Let''s give''em the strongest player'' Changing races, deleting limits, weaknesses. Creating new skills and magic, gaining control over space and time. Allowing me to surpass even the strongest bosses that only parties of best or whole guilds could hope to fight for and had a chance at winning. Everything was prepared and counting each second i give a goodbye to my world, not knowing then how true it was. Dead inside, left in loneliness and forgotten by everyone even those looking up to me in game. What about family you ask? Present time My cruel bed, my lovely pillow. "DADDY WILL MISS YOU!" Propably my body adapting to passing days as to hold the ''image'' of a corpse. As it''s Night, might have some fun so chaning to female is it? Let''s go with it! Willing my body to change to that of my original female avatar, feeling my quick transformation, my armor also transformed to its predefined state. Luna POV: As my armor must be for both genders, when everything was still a game, I made it to change shape based on the wearer. Now results can be seen, because of my vanity items from IS, (item shop) its not a full plate armor. In case of female body it changes to resemble something close to a magical girl. In simple words my outfit consists of black low-heel boots with red trimming, black leggins with scarlet petals, a black, short-sleeve dress with red trim, long black gloves up to the sleeves, again with red petals and ending with a black cloak that remains open and behind my back unless the hood is pulled over. My outfit is just it, an ''outfit'' so it works the same as armor, while looking different. Pretty neat right? With that over, let''s start with gathering information. It''s a shame that I asked only which month is it. Finnally with everything under control, my speed acceptable, looks corrected and local position estimated. Let''s search for a village. Chapter 1: Road to results Luna POV: Some time later I reached the village, or rather the Royal Capital, it looks really big for this world, but that can be expected from a capital city. I''ve also reached this conclusion ''I''m too unreal for these people''. Everyone keeps looking at me always appraising and silently whispering between themselves. What are they talking about? About me, or more precisly my beauty. I should have seen this coming. Same thing happened on my way here, but less pleasant. An encounter with bandits to be more precise, really helpfull bandits, kind bandits that with little ''persuasion'' helped a lady in need. Of course they started shouting when they encoutered me on my way, something like ''Guys today we got a fine catch!'', or ''Don''t worry it will fill good for you''. So taking theirs words to heart and also ''took'' care of them. There''s no better way like always. Which persona should I use then when wearing a mask? If luck is on my side ''propably not as always'' then leeching some knowledge from an adventurer party can be a good way, but first I need to find someone that I can familiarize with. Someone with similar looks to mine or using a mask like me might be the best way to go with it. The problem would be finding anyone wearing a mask so let''s first see if there''s any high ranking party in this city. Heading to an empty alley, taking out a white mask and gazing upon it, my mind goes back to its deisgn that is oval, with horizontal slits for eyes to look through and a pattern of black lines with red petals, that forms something alike to a flower losing its leafs. Going out and strolling the town again my thoughts went back to the adventurers guild.The place that Will grant me information of this age as apparently my nap took a century or two If what my memory tells me, isn''t wrong. I no longer bother counting years. There''s no meaning to it, beacuse my blood prevents me from ever ageing, ever dying. There''s no way for me to die, seeing as there''is only me with the race of an ancient vampire, nevermind the first blood. So yeah, in the worst case scenario I shall remain alive as a puddle of blood. I didn''t think that such a small mistake upon creation of this race will prevent me from dying, or at least losing conciousness. As long as I live, my mana cannot be lower than 25%, also as long as my MP is at 25% or more my life cannot end. I will regenerate with time, otherwise only a vampire with origin race as me can kill me for good thanks to that description of my race. To be more specific a vampire with at least a drop of ancient blood in their veins. Thanks to that it''s impossible for me to accuretly measure my mana because in pure theory it''s limitless. Never have I tested it, there was no need so let''s leave it at that. Risk free, stress free. Finally my eyes caught sight of a high class inn for adventurers, which lies ahead of me. Thinking that it''s a good place to start with, going straight for the doors I hesitated and stopped. My plan to work requires additional information, it won''t help me just barging in and looking for a easy target. Heading to a close alley I altered my form to look smaller with my height changed to about 120-130cm and otherwise with nothing else altered. I begun my preparations. Especially this one spell that allows me to hear the blood of nearby animals and command it to do my bidding. Hmmm many adventurers with plates of mithril or some other precious metal hanging from their necks ''many, considering how rare high lvl adventurers are'' occupying space near the bar cum dinning hall, discussing, eating, and spending their free time, but there''s a party staying away from the rest. 2 females ''propably'' sitting, with a male standing close to them, well that one ''female'' could be a male too with such physique. Her breasts make it clear she''s female so there''s no mistake here. Shame that I cannot hear their conversation. The smaller female looks overly serious and looks like luck is still on my side, because she wears a mask and looks almost like me especially now that my height is closer to hers. This could be fun. Playing it right maybe even joining them can be possible for a short time at least... oooooooh so they are of adamantite rank? Perfect, too perfect. With a silly act, maybe an overly familiar side to that girl, a fight may broke and using tier 5 magic as a leverage, give them a reason to invite me. This could work. A misunderstanding act. 3rd POV: A boy can be seen approaching a table in the inner-most place inside the inn. One person from the table nodded to him and bellowed huskily. "Yo, cheryy boy!" They did this, because they knew that even for mithril or orichalcum ranked adventurers, they were not brave or in this case stupid enough to disrespect a guest of the highest ranked adventurer, an adamantite ranked adventurer. The boy bore the insult and kept approaching the table. Good to see you again, Gagaran-sa -- san. And Evileye-sama" Arriving before the two of them he bowed "Oh, it''s been a while. What, come to sleep with me, have you? These two, the boy arrived to were members of adamantite ranked party ''Blue Rose''. One was the arcane magic caster Evileye, while the other was warrior Gagaran. Gagaran jerked her chin as a sign to him, to take a seat. Time skip: Night WIth everything going as planned, well almost everything, my awakening can begin. The only problem is this princess ordered quest. That''s fine, I cannot join them so let''s leave after them. Gagaran can be my target first, if everything they said in my presence goes as planned, while secretly prefering to side with Evileye,my body started to move. ''Ring of concealment,'' simply put hides everything about the wearer and shows a only what said player wants it to, its even possible to make a whole new status and hide as a level 1 player with minimal stats, no titles and any equipment, while in reality everything is just hidden. For example with this item making a scene where lvl 1 player can win against a lvl 100 is reality an everyone will believe it. World items can resist effect of others,but this one acts only passively so its impossible to bypass anything that is hidden. In this new world it can change also my scent, voice, taste, presence, simply everything that other people can percieve. Of course this item does not change apperances. My case of switching gender gives me some space with it. My look are different for female and male, almost reversed. This nullifies the only drawback. Now with the question. Do I reveal myself completly? Taking off my ring? ... No, but it should be possible to exclude her from the rings effect. In game there was an omit section. [Widen magic: Mana needles] Soon a 5 meter magic circle appeared right before my whole body and out of it a mass of needles. This is one ony my class magic spells, only avaible to someone with ancient blood. This spell casts a single needle per enemy, and while not strong for single opponents, the more enemies there is, the more it damage it deals. I watched from my position as the swarm of flies is pierced with needles and drops down. A single needle went right at the maids mask. While unlucky that my spells doesn''t count insects entomamancers wear, it still shot a single one right at her, getting rid of the Bug Mask. "Aaaaaaaaaahhhh!" Roared the maid, the needle propably did some damage to her hp and dealt a painful blow. Not giving her any pause I casted another spell. Hissed the maid, reavealing her insectoid face, just like a spider. "Hehe, the real battle is about to begin!" The insects back swelled up, and four longs legs sprouted from under her clothes. It looks like she is wearing spider legs as a backpack. She used these sprouted legs to leap forward. Thankfully I''m above her, because normal people might get startled with these movments. Once again the monster used [Fly breath]. Not giving her a chance I used mana needles once more. "You! I have only you to fear! Once you''re dead everything will be simple! Die already! Haha, this insect thinks she can fight me evenly. "Let me show you true despair!" [Maximize Magic: Dragon Lightning] A dragon shaped lightning shot out at the monster. She roared in pain as it hit her, forcing a response in her jaw with all her strenght available, she spewed a stream of silk like web at me. Razor webbing is it? I cannot evade it while Evileye and her teammates are behind me, while at the same time I cannot defend myself without giving too much about me away. These thoughts were in my mind, while I was flying closer to my allies as to give myself more time to think.
Evileye POV: Luna''s fight definitely shows power equal to at leats that of adamantite rank. I''m worried nonetheless, what did she mean at the beginning? Is she so infatuated with me, that she cannot think straight if someone threatens me? We will have to talk about it later. I can only hope this power didn''t cost her too much. "Shorty! Is it that kid from the inn fighting there?" Gagaran asked me with a disbellieving tone. "Who are you calling shorty!? Yes, it is the same person, her name is Luna. Keep healing Tia, but you can propably think of her as our new party member. Now focus we will talk later." "Wh-What do you mean new member?" Asked Tia in pain as Gagaran slowly healed her wounds. "Shut up and rest. Lakyus agreed to accept her to Blue Roses if shes strong enough." Watching the fight I was overcome with possible research with Luna, so powerfull were her spells. Dragon Lightning? which tier is this spell from? This thought crossed my mind as the insect maid released some kind of silk attack. Oddly Luna started flying closer to us. Is it possible that she focuses on evading, which is impossible with her behind us? "Gagaran do it faster I will help Luna." "Didn''t she say to not interfere?" "She''s behaving oddly, and I suspect she doesn''t have many spells to defend and focuses evading which is impossible because of us. Luna POV: [Crystal Wall] "Evileye!?" As a crystal wall sprotued right before me, I looked back to see Evileye almost near me. [Twin Maximize Magic: Magic Arrow] The maid moaned in pain as two magic arrow hit her in the ribs. The damage was done and I''m sure she was weakening with every spell that hit her. Still trying to resist she leaped at me with all her speed. With me barely evading when she got close enough, to any person looking from the side it would look like me playing a game of tag with her. "Is this everything you''ve got? Try harder!" I kept taunting her and it worked. Once again she fired her sharp web. This time I could evade it easily as there was nobody behind me. This farce of a battle that it was for me continued. Everything she did was useless. I laughed at her every moment possible, infuriating her with each word leaving my mouth. Now she resembles what she is a lowly insect beneath my feet. While I don''t have anything against heteromorphic races, she infuriates me. "Any last words?" These unnatural black flames right from hell were stopped by my shield thankfully, this flame doesn''t burn bodies but souls and this particular spell is categorized as seventh tier magic. With this action done I moved and took ahold of Evileyes body in a way easily allowing me to hold her with my left hand while still casting spells with the right one. "Wh-Wha--" Evileye tried to say something but I interrupted her. "Stay calm. Conserve mana. There''s nothing you can do here to help me, so please hold me as strong as you can and leave the rest to me." This was the only thing I could say right now. "... I trust you." "...Thanks... [Maximize Magic: Devourer of life] As I said this from my right hand erupted an etheral looking red skull. It reached that damn guys side almost instantly. While it looks like nothing, when it reaches my enemies... "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" It devoures a great deal of their HP, but the worst part of this is the pain. This spell forces the targets body to rupture from within making any target bath in their own blood, sadly it has to begin from the surface so no internal damage to for example heart until there''s nothing other in the way. One of my class 7th tier spells, avaible only when infusing my mana with at leat a drip of blood before casting, making my mana take a red taint to its blue colour and making any casted spells red-like in apperance. "Don''t worry I have more for you in storage!" [Maximize Magic: Crimson Acid" "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh" This time when he''s soaked in his own fluids my magic acted and changed everything releated to blood still flowing out of his body and every drop of blood on his body or suit to a potent acid. Or to put it simply, right now he feels like he''s bathing in acid "Let''s get out of here!" Saying this I moved as fast as I could with Evileye safe in my embrace. Hopefully the difference in level will make it extra painfull, buying me more time. "Y-You... Will pay for this humilaton!" [Aspect of the Devil: Scything Claws] Not enough time! He''s more resilient than I expected. With scything claws his fingernails should grew over 80cm long. If he hits me it will be painfull [Mass fly] Quickly casting another spell and moving to the air was a good decision. When we left to the air, a crappy looking man slashed where we have been standing just moments ago. "You''re not running away!" [Maximize Magic: Corrosive Mist] The falling blood changed its structure to corrosive mist capable of dissolving anything given enough mana. This time it''s weak, but enough to dissolve his attack. Just as his tentacles flied into the mist, they dissolved before reching the end. "You are a liability. I''m done playing with you" "Here it co--" Just as I was about to say something, I felt movement coming this way and stopped in favor of gaining distance between the newcomer falling from the sky and my already confirmed enemy. In the moment of distancing myself the figure fell between us with a thunderous clash. Ground beneath him was unable to endure that weight. Stone slabs shattered, dust flew everywhere and before us stood the newcomer, a warrior still kneeling from the force of his landing. Jet-black armor reflected the moon light making it quite cool in my eyes. A crimson cape fluttered behind him with the nightsky as a backdrop. In each hand he held a greatsword, lightly gleaming with a deadly tint to it. Just as said warrior slowly rose to his feet, Evileye unexpectedly whispered something to me. "Luna, I sensed a hint of fear from that demon as he gazed upon that dark warrior, as though seeing something unbelieveling. If I''m right then this dark warrior can help us, if I''m right he''s called Momon the black and is an adamantite ranked adventurer like myself his party is called ''Darkness''." The streets were empty so there wasn''t anyone we could ask for the situation at hand. After finally arriving at the guild we were dumbfounded because the guild was empty, thats when the receptionist came in and demanded that I answer some princess summons. Who does she think she is? "The third Princess asked the adventurers guild for help in the crisis we are currently in. We agreed and every adventurer of every rank is ordered by us to answer the summons. Every adventurer refusing to participate will be stripped of their rank and as a citizen of this kingdom judged properly." She''s pissing me off with her useless rambling. "Oooooo... Is that a threat?" I asked just to be sure "No, I am merely stating what was decided in this kind of emergency the capital is facing." She stated with a smug face. Jaldabaoth is an archdemon, or more precisely one of the highest ranked ones. If some of you think about killing him and be done with it... you can leave this room right now. We barely made it out alive, were it not for me then Evileye would be in best case scenario dead. Any magic equal or below 6th tier is useless against his magic immunity. In simple terms, unless you cast a 7th tier spell you won''t be able to even harm him. He was toying with us and even the small amounts of damage done by me was useless in the long run. If Momon the black did not help us and began fighting him in pure physical strenght... Next some of his abilities, for example dimensional lock. Quite simple spell used only by the highest ranked demons and angels which blocks any form of teleportation or transportation magic. It wants to retrieve an item capable of controlling it''s kin. I say we don''t interfere with it, he has propably achieved that one already so not that it matters much. Our problem are the people still inside and we have to get them out as soon as possible. Remember demons don''t lie, they twist their words to achieve what they want, it''s angels that lie to you. Which once again means he has a second objective. Namely people or other resources in that city area. If what I understand from the map here on the table is correct then the area of demon invasion is a warehouse district. *Nod* What I propose is as such, every city guard we have, alongside copper and iron rank adventurers should be placed outside the danger area. We will block the biggest roads with higher than platinum rank adventurers. Above iron rank but below platinum ranks will be placed between the roads occupied by platinum and above and the lower ranks. Adamantite ranked adventurers, or in this case Blue Rose will be placed as a mobile defense. For this we will need to leave out some mages with thefly spell to inform other teams in case of problems. Lastly Me, Evileye and Momon the black along with his companion will face Jaldabaoth. Taking him out would solve our problems, but our main goal is forcing him to leave. We don''t want now a full scale invasion, because his forces can''t be small enough to cover only the warehouse district. So he has taken only replecable minions with him. Low level demons will pose a threat to most of our people and there are stronger ones, but all of them for sure qualify as low level. Mid level demons would be stronger than most, but still killable by the higher ranked adventurers, especially with 6th tier magic. Rescue of any civilians will be left for a special team of my choosing. They should be capable enough to force their way if necessary, but ultimately try to go inside silently and quickly. Going with numbers would prove as a disadvantage so we will focus on stealth and capability of defending any encountered people on their way back. I don''t know how many demons are there, so we will let them come to our defense line and move only after getting rid of most. If you think that we won''t be able to take down Jaldabaoth quick enough, then don''t worry.
