《God Of The New World》 The God Of This New World! It''s the year of 200 in the Brightstar Kingdom; the Royal Family inspired with the discovery of foreign lands by their Southern Neighbors The Cranks quickly arranged for an erratic group of settlers composed of petty thieves from fallen nobility to help claim the land for themselves. The one in charge of this very honorable duty was Viscount Edward Vinz many would look upon this task as a chance for great success at least for a declining noble house such as his; but he knew otherwise if this expedition was really so beneficial as the clergy preaches daily then why would her majesty not personally lead it with her Elite Brightstar Frontier Army by her side? The reason was quite simple her majesty, The Queen a powerful and studied Telepathic Wizard in her own right did not come to power by being an idiot; she had plotted for years to come to the forefront of Brightstar politics via producing the heirs to the throne with the former king and usurping them within the same timeframe in a civil war marking the first time a woman had sitted The Brightstar Throne. She above everyone else knew that arrogance would easily lead to your defeat which is why she entrusted this task of securing a rich yet dangerous foreign land to a group of chess pieces she could easily throw away at anytime. The first being Fallen Nobility none Academy trained Wizards of course they were too useful and rare, but this groups'' administrative talents could come in handy within this new land. If they tried rebelling then not only would they be facing The Cranks as well as the natives but her own spies she had planted within the circle itself would act to end every traitors life. The second group being the prisoners they are of unknown origin for the most part she could not spare the attention to a group destined to die in thousands but she entrusted her sheriff''s to execute any whom were not controllable or willing to undergo the trial they would work as her sword to fight off The Cranks and cause division so that no unified group within the fallen nobles to betray her could rise up. And the last chess piece the one acting as her head Edward Vinz a man of great character and loved by all could not be left in her kingdom he was becoming much too popular and she herself knew what would happen to the loser of a civil war which is why she swiftly put him in charge of this task if he failed that would be a pain out of her fair hair but if he succeeded them that would confirm her suspicions about him being a true threat needed to be removed. Facing all these problems Edward could only sigh as he looked upon the group presented in front of him, a bunch of spoiled fallen nobles with few talented among themselves at contrast with the poorly dressed and smelly rowdy men shoving food down their throats with large bodies reflecting their criminal lifestyles. What truly drew his interest though was a boy only fourteen years of age he had shoulder length loose curly raven hair covering his eyes from sight yet if you looked closely you could see dark blue eyes that held all the darkness within the world in them. His expression was fragile and skinny appearance average if not for his uniquely colored dark skin Edward would not have given him another glance he remarked to himself that he may belong in the unspoken about fourth group The Slaves. The Brightstar Kingdom had not engaged in slavery previously seeing it as something unique only to The Southern Kingdoms who followed an even more strict sect of Light God worship after freeing themselves from foreign as well as heretical Ishadi rule in a rebellion twenty years ago. They justified it with all heretics who did not worship the Light God deserved to live in chains or die! The Southern Churches Clergy plead their case to The Pope and he was more than willing when he was given Slaves to do with as he pleased as an offering. This leaves us in our current state seeing how profitable slavery was all people of power in The Brightstar Kingdom lobbied for it to be legalized and as The Queen herself was quite fond of the practice due to desiring the place of a handsome and comforting man to warm her bed it was put in place. The slave group was not expected to do any fighting if anything their only destiny was to be used as sources of pleasure for The Prisoners and act as servants for The Haughty Fallen Nobility. Addressing the men before him Edward Vinz loudly coughed as he received the attention of countless eyes coming in varying emotions some enraged, fearful, amused as well as numb to everything. "I care not of your backgrounds or who you were before you joined this expediation, my only expectation of you gentleman is to follow orders. If you do then you''ll gain riches freeing yourself of your sentences or even rising above that of a fallen noble into a mighty Duke of The Brightstar Kingdom." A tall man whistled in amusement.Stolen content alert: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. "As wonderful as this sounds you should stop lying to us and admit that bitch sent us on a death sentence! How does she expect a group of peasants mixed among minor knights to stand a chance against angry, zealous, Crank armies and foreign magics performed by natives by which we have not ever seen before, even the nobles among us." "Oh yes! Lest I forget to mention if another major power decides it wants a piece of the pie too. So tell me Mr.Vinz how do you plan on keeping that pretty face of yours from leaving your honorable body?" Many of the men noble and prisoner alike started to speak among themselves in angry voices before a giant beast of a man slammed his hands on a table. "You bastards should do less gossiping and ready yourselves to earn your keep, If any of you dare to ruin things on the battlefield for us I''ll personally tear your heads into little pieces!" Edward only held up one hand signaling all the attention to himself as his mouth opened. "While I thank you for quieting them down Ser Brandon I''ll have to order you not to threaten these men they follow my orders on this expedition not yours. The former commander Brandon of Brightstar only humped as he continued listening. "I''m also letting you all know that if anyone else insults her Royal Majesty I''ll personally use this honorable blade of mine to remove their tongues which they were given by The God of Light." The tall man''s amused smile disappeared off his face as he covered his mouth with his hand making sure his tongue was still there, he had seen a many of times insubordinate men had lost their tongues to the blade of a Paladin like Edward without even knowing he would prefer not to end up like they. "Lastly, I guarantee you that if you do as I say those of you who survive will not be punished but rewarded with the love of your countrymen back home as well as written into a legacy of explorers and conquerors in not just Brightstar history but the entire world forever earning yourself glory!" Cheers exploded from all sides; an ideal held by all men of Brightstar no matter if lowborn or noble was Glory was the most valuable thing a man could have, gold would be useless when you''re dead and facing The Lord of Light. But your legacy will let you live on forever in the records printed by The Scholars of The Royal Academy all over the world. The only one unaffected by this was a loosely curled haired boy his true name was forgotten by him long ago but he still remembers his grandmother telling him he was named after his father a powerful and feared cult leader possessing countless blessings in the Iahgnos Kingdom; it''s said to be surrounded by deserts with other neighbors spread out thinly across the continent his mother would often remark in her sadness that his father went missing when seeking out a neighbor empire with uncountable amounts of legions for help back home these people worship their ruler whom they call "Safiya" as an honorable title; The Safiya is held as a messiah in the region all worshippers of The Forgotten God would seek that Empire out to pay tribute. During that time men preaching a foreign religion and strange traditions had started to build settlements capturing the local tribes people who wandered off alone or paying poor men to do their bidding for them, alas those were things in the past he knew nothing about his beautiful home now. He was referred to as Adrianus by his capturers due to his dark skin uncommon among the much lighter people of The Brightstar Kingdom he met few others from his home, the masters say his kind barely survive the trip back and are expensive to capture but when they do they make excellent exotic merchandise whatever that entails. Now hearing that someone called a queen was sending him overseas again to an unknown place where even his own life wasn''t ensured was frightening, keeping this in mind he picked up the dishes from an elegantly dressed man who rewarded him with scorn he quickly took them away being careful not to anger the man clearly of higher status than a slave like himself. Passing them to another man who was in a more favorable position than him as a personal servant to one of those elegantly dressed men he sent Adrianus away with indifference alongside a bit of arrogance mixed in. Finishing up the rest of his chores, Adrianus could only sigh at knowing he would forever be stuck like this as a servant to another with his own fate never to be in his own hands suddenly as if the fireworks of fate were lit a giant naval ship could be seen flying with banners resembling a shark with a giant castle at the bottom. Suddenly a loud yell sounded out. "IT''S THE CRANKS!" Men could be seen disorderly entering their stations while brave nobles were doing their best to take command of the untrained men under them, yet one stood out above them all he had sky blue eyes and chiseled handsome facial features with short blonde hair on his head a golden aura surrounding him making his voice able to be heard by all crew members this man was Edward Vinz The Veteran of A Thousand Battles. "Do not fear the God of Light shall protect us in this battle with those Crank bastards. Show them the might of men from Brightstar!" The patriotic among the disorganized and unruly what could barely be called an army shouted out in union. "FOR HER MAJESTY!" No matter who you asked any would say that men from Brightstar are arguably one of the most loyal people to their Monarch, due to history going back since it''s foundation. Canons could be heard being shot out as blades clashed and terrifying spells casted; it was impossible to tell who was battling who but Adrianus knew he had to get away from it. These men and their battle be damned this had nothing to do with him he belonged to neither sides all he wanted was freedom and to go home. "Is that a dirty rat trying to get away? Hahahaha! Looks like it''s my lucky day free credits right in front of me." Adrianus could hear the voice of an unknown man with an accent from behind him it resembled that of the men who had taken him captive as a slave long ago, almost like a trigger memories started flooding in. "See ya dirty rat!" No matter how much he wanted to move his body refused to bulge overcome by fear and countless memories he felt an edged blade slice cleanly through him as he tried jumping away with the last of his willpower. "Ah! My credits just accept your fate and die. Don''t fall into that cursed sea." Adrianus took one last look at the man and his smug smile who had wounded him, forever engraving it in his memory even if he didn''t survive this he would curse him to The Forgotten Gods for the rest of his afterlife. A loud pop was heard as something heavy fell into the sea, neither of the two factions paid attention to the death of a mere slave as they were more busy fighting each other. Seawater flew through his mouth, making it hard for him to breathe as he lifted up his arms with the last of his strength. "H..o..m..e." Quietly from deep under the seas a dark energy could be seen covering the boy causing a reaction with the snake like birthmark around his left eye. At the same time a dark and cold voice spoke to him pulling the boy back to life. "What''s your name?" Losing more and more energy in his body he spoke. "A....d...r..i..a..n..u..s..." Intense pain filled his head as he heard the dark voice shout. "Your true name!" Zero response came back as the dark voice growled turning demonic in nature. "No matter, I''ll take your everything and make it mine. All who had pushed you to this point will pay as I ascend to become The God of This New World!" The wheels of fate landed on a dark path as a demonic serpent resembling the size of a dragon shadow could be seen underneath the beautiful moonlight of the cold sea. The First Step To Godhood In Chu''a village a festival was under preparation to celebrate the birth of The Chief''s third daughter in a month. Rumors also leaked that The Chief was going to decide on a husband for his eldest daughter therefore all men were expected to wear their finest prizes on their clothing to display their martial prowess the mightier the beast the more likely one would be when The Chief would decide his daughter''s husband. Things had been going smoothly into a corpse like boy washed up near the local beach, some tribe scavengers tried looting him mistaking him for a dead kid into they heard him mumble some words in a strange language. The Chief a middle aged man with wild bull like locks of dark brown hair covering powerful brown eyes with wrinkly skin over his prominent cheekbones displaying signs of his former handsomeness in his youth was puzzled by this odd turn of events, he heard a rumor of foreign men settling down in places inside the central coast but it shouldn''t be anywhere near them, he would need to talk to the boy when he awoke. While in his thoughts he heard a voice suddenly snap him back to reality. "I refuse to be married!" A beautiful young girl only 17 years of age with dark brown hair and sword like brows on top of determined amber eyes with slightly tanned delicate skin yelled with a haughty tone at The Chief. "Sikya you''re being too stubborn just like your mother; I agreed to postponing your marriage two years ago hoping you would see the bigger picture, but no more! You will be married to a great man who can protect the tribe and you when I die." Taregan truly favored this daughter of his, she resembled him the most out of his children in both looks and talent but she inherited her mother''s temperament and pride normally he would give into her demands but this time no negotiations could be made; it''s all due to when his Strongspear Tribe went to war with the traitorous Dusk Tribe centuries ago his ancestor slayed their Head Shaman the backbone of The Dusk Tribe winning them a large amount of territory to host their people as well as depriving the world of powerful Dark God worshippers, but it came at a cost The Shaman on his deathbed casted a Whisper curse upon all men of the head Strongspear Tribe family as well as their future sons to age rapidly when burning their Totem Energies in battle. "Father! I can protect The Tribe myself I don''t need a man weaker than me, after all the rules of our Tribe states that as long as you can defeat every other member you can serve as chief right?" Taregan was filled with anger at these alien like words to him yet he could only sigh. While it was true only the strongest could act as Chief of the tribe it was still a fact that The Strongspear tribe was a traditional tribe above all else holding to the times when women would serve as wives as well as healers to injured men after a hunt, even after The Totem God reforged Humankind into being capable of using Totem Energy having women as leaders was never thought of nor would any self-respecting Strongspear tribe members accept a female Chief. "Out of the question, we both know you''re too hot headed to tackle the delicate difficulties of making these honorable men follow a woman''s orders." Truthfully Sikya was close to being stronger than even her father with the only step left is to reforge her body into The Clan Totem beast which would trigger a transformation granting her great powers in her new form; unfortunately few prodigies could withstand the pain of forcefully transforming their bodies into The Totem Beast Form with Totem Energy alone which is why most required the help of a Totem Stage expert to soften the pain. "Bah! I know that Father but I still won''t marry any man weaker than me and older than Thirty." His daughter was truly stubborn on this never leaving any room for discussion yet he could only sigh into an expression of happiness appeared on his face as he thought up a great idea. "Very well then at the celebration in a month''s time we will host a tournament limited to men below Thirty any who can defeat you will serve as your husband, if none win then you can choose to marry whoever you want at your own time agreed?" Sikya was proud of her talent as a Totem Master being capable of defeating veterans of the tribe since she was a child never would her personality allow her not to agree to this. "I agree!" ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Elsewhere a weak and skinny boy with curly raven white hair contrasting with his dark skin was eating a tiny bowl of soup even with the simpliness of it he had to admit it tasted much better than many meals from inside this incarnations memories. "Now that you''re a bit more fed and full of energy I''d like to ask what''s your name and which totem tribe are you from boy? I haven''t seen any that quite resemble you around here." An old man with cynical dark eyes and grey hairs surrounded by burly armed man had spoken to him using what they call the power of Totems allowing the caster to be understood no matter which language the parties spoke. He couldn''t help but to chuckle inwardly at being referred to as boy into remembering this weak vessel of his wasn''t more than 14 years of age probably a bit older since the time he spent fusing his former body''s memories and experiences into this one not to mention the slave masters definitely cared little about a slave''s birthday resulting with the former owner of this body being confused with it himself. This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. "I''m Nevaeh Malakai I was abandoned by The Serpent tribe and sent to die but luckily I washed up on your beaches and didn''t drown to death." The old man never heard of such a tribe nor any with names like the boys'' but one thing he learned from old age is that this was a large world with many powerful beings even he was unaware of and sensing that the boy possessed no Totem Energy to speak of it''s not surprising he was abandoned. "I see, feel free to finish your meal while I get the chief to notify him you''re awake." The Old Man removing his condescending glaze from the boy moved urgently as he went to the chief, Nevaeh had a faint smile on his face as he knew the old man believed his tale of course he was sent to die but not by the hands of any such serpent tribe this was only a story he made up with what little information was provided to him ''This new body of mine is truly trash to think my Ancient Cult''s descendant would end up in such a horrid state, luckily I harvested enough magics from my other few human incarnations to use on this one, of course my Demonic Serpent magic is out of the question into I find a method to improve this bodies physical condition I can still quickly become a very powerful spell user with the remnant memories I bought along with me.'' The Serpent turned into a man could only grin as he felt his ancient magics slowly filling his body full of power, it was faint enough to be blown out with a tiny breath but soon it would turn into a river then ocean into eventually an endless sea. ''Totem power might come in handy, I''ll be sure to take any information I can out of these mortals about this method it could be used to strengthen this fragile bodies physical condition, enough to let me take my true form again" His first goal was to fulfill the task he promised this bodies former owner and that was to get vengeance on his tormentors, without doing so he was afraid that the former owner''s spirit would wake up and attempt to take back control. Of course he wouldn''t just do that he would also corrupt these tribes people into worshipping him as their god not just them but the entire world would learn to fear and worship The Serpent Who Devoured A God. Knocking him out of his thought process a strong man with bull clothing on his body followed by the old man from before entered the room. "I''m Taregan The Chief of this Strongspear tribe I heard about your exile by The Serpent tribe is it? What do you plan on doing from here on out?" Fainting the expression of a weak and fragile person the serpent slightly opened his mouth in a quiet voice as he asked. "I wish to join this tribe and become a Totem Master, I had asked my tribesman to teach me about Totem Energy but they refused keeping me ignorant." Taregan pitying the boy decided to explain, he didn''t expect the boy at this age to truly be capable of becoming a Totem Master but there was no drawbacks to telling him anyways. "Totem Energy is the power granted to Humans from The Great Totem God his ivory flames reforged Human Beings into existences capable of going toe to toe against Forest Beasts and other creatures with bodies as hard as steel; alongside other rare abilities only located in certain totem bloodlines those who could access these powers are called Totem Masters." "Of course with the interference of The Totem God in mankind''s fate The Dark God whose true name name cannot be spoken had transformed simple Forest Beasts formerly hunted by Mankind into Abyss Beasts while gifting humans who served him the power of The Whisper allowing them to call upon his power to directly harm any who they desire, the more it''s used the more of the bearers soul is fed to The Dark God we refer to these people as Abyss Masters." Taregan had a displeased expression whenever mentioning Abyss Masters and The Dark God as he continued. "To become a Totem Master one must engrave the image of a tribe''s totem on their body and channel their bloodline energies within it, only those favored by The Tribe''s Totem Animal can access its power, of course few Totem Tribes would let you do that as all consider their Totem Animal sacred and precious only declining tribes would let one use its image on their body as part of a pact any who engrave a Totem Animal on their body without consent of The Tribe would be hunted down by all other Totem Masters." Nevaeh couldn''t help but to grin inwardly as he realized that Totem energy would be the key to improving this bodies fragile and weak physical condition as for the Totem Engraving what would he care about rules enforced by mortals? If any had an issue he would kill them as simple as that, he would also look into tapping into the power of Whispers but his first task was to try out a method that formaliated in his head after hearing he needed to engrave a Totem Animal on his body. "The Stronger the Totem engraved on the user''s body the more abilities and an advantage one would have over a totem master on the same level, we classify Totem masters within the ranges of Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert, and Master with levels from 1-5 within each one as for ranks above master those are only rumors it''s doubtful they even exist." Curiously Nevaeh spoke. "What rank are you then Chief?" The Strongspear Chief had pride on his face as he said. "I''ve broken through to the Expert Stage as of this year at only forty years old I would be considered a genius if you didn''t take my daughter into consideration who stepped into the advanced stage after a bottleneck at only 15 years old now she only need to engrave her entire body into that of The Totem itself to become an expert." Nevaeh was about to ask about this process into The Chief pulled up his hand signaling not to ask, as a realm like that is heaven to earth for the him of right now. "Alas I''m afraid I''ll have to cut this short we can talk about you joining the tribe after I finish with some more arrangements, for now I''ll leave you to enjoy your meal and recover youngster." The guardsman quickly followed their chief while the old man pridefully spoke before walking away. "Be thankful The Chief has enough time to waste on an abandoned person like you." Nevaeh only smiled softly at those words as he inwardly marked to kill this old man for speaking to him in such a tone, nevertheless it was time to remove the shackles of this mortal body and begin his first step into becoming The God of This New World. Not just this tribe but the entire continent as well as the world would be devoured by him soon and this incarnation he won''t fail! A Serpents Appetite Nevaeh had few fragments of the memories from his past incarnations but he still knew the most basic function of telling whether or not you had a future in magic, by his predictions this body of his should be fully capable of learning magic but as for its potential he was unsure of therefore now was the best time to find out while there wasn''t anyone around him. ''It''s been a while since I''ve got reduced to such a low state of power ultimately it''s my own fault for being too arrogant in my battle against The Gods they shouldn''t know my current whereabouts as of right now but I should keep a tight lid on using too many forbidden magics not native to this region.'' What Nevaeh had done in transferring himself to one of his descendants bodies wasn''t unusual in fact all gods had avatars that operated in the moral world but few would reveal themselves instead preferring to live as sages in dangerous unexplored places or as advisors to local rulers to keep watch over them. Lesser Gods with great morals would reincarnate themselves within a recently dead infant and bond with their new family slowly connecting with the body while regaining their old memories bit by bit, Higher Gods would directly strike a deal with one of their stronger followers to host them in their consciousness in exchange for a blessing in any form just in case that god needs to do battle on the mortal plane. Opposite to this practice which is common among the more uncaring Demigods is destroying the soul of the original owner fusing their own spirit with the hosts'' body; the drawbacks to this practice is the body being severely weakened as well as losing much more fighting potential compared to a deceased body that joins to the god''s soul or willingly lets them in through a contract. But what is so remarkable is that Nevaeh successfully over a span of millions of year reincarnated himself within the souls of his talented descendants putting them in the back burner while allowing himself to be the main soul with full control over the body and it''s actions with no lost in combat ability. Of course this comes with a drawback if he doesn''t comply with the souls last wish he can easily be driven out, but even if it''s something insane that he cannot complete he can easily leave the hosts'' body and take over another one of his countless descendants with his tainted serpent blood in them. ''While this body is pathetic and weak with immature desires in it they''re nothing too difficult to achieve not to mention that surprisingly this body has the dormant blood of another god...an ancient one at that one who has much more power than a god eater like myself I can benefit from this quite nicely, to think that a genius like this was only a mere slave.'' Nevaeh who had once taken over guild leaders and nobility couldn''t help but to grin at his gain on what he originally thought was a low starting point; he was quite fond of having children with the women offered to him by his cult followers but to think that a child would be born with an ancient gods'' bloodline lineage like this, if any of those arrogant High Gods knew what he got his hands on they would be filled with envy and rage. "Now my first step is unlocking the mana cores sealed by those mortals in that Light God worshipping Kingdom." Connecting the boys'' and his soul together he infused the tiny bit of inherent god eater serpent energy in his newly made duo-soul onto the seals quickly dissolving them in fact when the two met it was like toxic acid melting through hard steel. ''Hmph! Using the tiny bit of reserved godly mana I have left from my previous incarnation on this pathetic seal is mournful but once I decipher the ancient gods'' bloodline and engrave my original body onto myself as a totem it should more than make up for the loss.'' This was the first step to becoming a force who could quickly devour all the resources as well as lineages waiting for him in this unexplored land even by god standards it was an unknown about continent almost as if another force was clouding everyone''s view from peaking inside their brilliant castle. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ In the newly joint Kingdom of The Cranks sailors could be seen coming and going from the ports with large chests of gold in their hands, receiving them was a fat balding old man he had shy eyes filled with greed yet even he dare not touch the loot from these chests if even a single piece was missing all nobility at the highest archons of Crank Politics would hunt down and execute those involved according to the newly implemented military code a foreign thing to a noble man like himself who grew up during the old age; his bones were getting much too old for these ambitious youngsters trying to change the very fabric of their ancient society. A lanky man with auburn hair, pale skin like an undead as well as empty grey eyes and huge dark circles under his eyelids sighed at the heat as he motioned with his hands in anger.Reading on Amazon or a pirate site? You''re the steward of his and her majesty not an errand boy or slave you should be in the council room with the others discussing the distribution of wealth from the new continent." Old Ladrons'' son Jaime was a caring boy but he was too rash not lowkey and secretive like himself he loved the boy but he would need to learn to use that head of his more, the current Crank Kingdoms'' Politics was chaotic with the discovery of the new continent their joint rulers King Arias and Queen Johana had declared independence from the intolerable five hundred year rule of the heretical Ishadi Emperors who ruled over them with an iron fist using their false gods'' magic to quarrel all rebellion luckily The Cranks had used the gold from The New Continent to raise a standing army led by men chosen for their skill not birth or standing this resulted in a crushing defeat for the now extinct Ishadi Empire their former commanders reduced to a bunch of squibbling warlords looking to crush the other. Of course with the fall of one empire led to the rise of another while The Brightstar Kingdom wouldn''t acknowledge this fact The Cranks of today could not be compared to their past selves they were fierce, zealous, and not to mention rich. It was just a matter of time now before The Pope granted them the title of an Empire putting them high above the honorable Brightstar Kingdom who run a monopoly in Light God Church Politics filling all positions except that of Pope. With these things in mind his face turned sour as he realized that the royal majesty''s subjects were becoming more and more discontent the nobility of old wouldn''t remain content with having their former power stripped from them with only the monarch themselves calling the shots, a battle of Sharks would break out in The Crank Kingdom he could only pray to The Lord of Light that he would be sparred with that in mind there was no way he would ever enter that Council room forced to choose a side to receive any of the profits, the old nobility or the rising monarchs. "AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" A scream breaking out interrupted The Stewards'' train of thought as he turned towards his son a graduate of The Academy trained in the use of sealing magic he remembered being so proud of the boy not only being a wizard at such a young age but in direct employment of The Slave Department was an easy and high paying job with only few drawbacks..... "What''s wrong my boy? Speak to me!" The boys eyes were bleeding, his skin peeling apart like an orange imported from The New World the words he heard from his own flesh would haunt him for the rest of his life. "Ser...Serpent, it hurts! Save me father." Without being able to say a word Jaime quickly passed out his heart no longer beating with blood resembling a tiny pool gathering the attention of all people there. The old steward looked empty and broken his previous greedy eyes only full of rage as well as sadness. Later reports would say many tried to stop the old steward to ask what happened but the only words out the senile old stewards mouth was Serpent and vengeance, King Arias and Queen Johana wrote off the steward as insane his son most likely misused his magic and it ended up rebounding on him, who would be capable of removing a seal given by The God of Light himself to his followers. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ An average looking boy only fifteen years of age with dark skin, deadly eyes containing all the darkness of the world within them as blue as the sea with unnatural charming white hair was in a dark forest covered by large lifelike trees with terrifying sounds all around. Remembering what was instructed to him earlier only made him more focused on his goal, he''d need to survive this to begin the second step of his plan and that was gaining the power of totems while he could try to engrave himself right now he did not know the proper method nor the consequences of The Spearhonor tribe seeing the mark on a previously completely normal abandoned person. While he was confident in being able to escape if he used the remainder of his former incarnations power he wanted to avoid doing so as clausing a slaughter in a land he knew nothing about or The Spearhonor tribes alliances could bite him in the back later, at least before he was a bit stronger he would hold himself back. ''All I need to do is survive in this blood drenched forest for a week and return with the horns of a Red-Scarred Boar to be accepted as a member of the tribe as well as allowed to be entrusted with The Golden Flame Fiery Bulls Totem on my chest.'' It seems simple enough but from a tribe members point of view a boy without any totem strength to speak of as well as such a weak body was all but doomed to die, even beginner stage Totem Masters had died to being careless let alone a young boy like himself. The Chief had wanted to accept him as an outer member of the tribe who did scavenger jobs but as Nevaeh wouldn''t accept anything else than the position of a Totem Master The Elders who weren''t as fond of the boy suggested this as his task if he survived he was favored by The Honorable Golden Flame Fiery Bull if he died then he was not up to the task. ''While those elders may have thought this was a death sentence for me, it was actually quite a benefit I''ll be somewhere where I''m not under surveillance as well as get this body into proper shape.'' A white haired dark shadow flew through the forest taking the most efficient routes carrying the very essence of a hunter itself within him, slowly he slowed down crouching on his knees as he plucked out an arrowfrom hisbow at the new target in his sights, it had stripes its cloat resembling tiny stars while its violet eyes were as vibrant and bright as pure amethysts yet they held fierce aggression in them. ''To think I would encounter a Star Stripped Leopard around here I need to choose between avoiding or killing.'' Thinking to himself inside his newly created duo-soul he could sense a weak existence talking to him. ''Interesting, so the boy''s soul is telling me to hide and attack from safety or quickly run away into the bushes that''s a good plan for a moral I have to give him congratulations for that, but what would I look like letting a little kitten get over me? I''ll do this according to my own will!'' The white shadow stepped out the blushes revealing his skinny and average appearance his striking almost unnatural white hair caught the attention of the leopard, soon realizing that it''s a mere human without any totem marks on its skin the beast in response to the genetic code hardwired into its being rapidly went to bite down on the humans'' skin. "Hahaha! Funny, you want to devour me kitty? I admire your appetite but as The Serpent Who Devoured A God let me show you MINE!" The Leopards body stopped mere inches from colluding with the boys'' figure as a giant shadow the size of a dragon loomed over it making it shake in fear of a true predator one at the top of the food chain, the boy grinned as he opened his mouth showing off shiny teeth with sharpness at the tips. "Your choice beast, serve me as my mount or serve me as my dinner!"
