《Infinite Wishes》 The Beginning 1 It hit me like a missle into my crotch. Thinking back, how can so much happen in so little time? This is something i have been spending WAY to much time thinking about then i should be. I fall back in agony, open my eyes to see a dark ceiling and remind myself about how stupid i am. Something drips from my nose, thinking it was bugger, i tried to lick it to enjoy its salty flavour but am exposed to the flavour of metal to quickly realise its actually blood. However, i did not freak out, instead i shrugged it off, and started to enjoy the taste of blood in the place of bugger. Can''t help it, i am hungry as hell, all the snacks i saved up to isolate myself in my apartment and play video games for a week straight ended up not being enough. I was in desperate need of some munchies, and by desperate, i really mean desperate, i feel like the term ¡°Sticks and Stones may break your bones¡± will actually be a threat to me, but instead of sticks and stones, twigs and pebbles will be more than enough. But i really did not want to move, so much that i was almost able to convince myself that i should just keep playing until i die, but i also really valued my own life a lot, since if i were to die, i would not be able to play anymore video games, and that''s really bad. Even if i were to reincarnate to another world, there is a really small chance that the other world would have video games. Sighing to myself, i get up with my super wobbly and twig like legs. Using the wall to keep my balance, walk to the door, it felt like an eternity to get to it by the way. I proceed to unlock the door. It''s not like i need any wishes right now, my life is perfectly fine the way it is, at least for me. Suddenly the glittering in the sky seems to start becoming more visible and closer, maybe it''s a UFO? I reach for my pocket to get my phone and take a video, if this is really a UFO, it can go rival and i can get rich enough to buy all the In-App purchases i want, yet the only thing my hand grabs, is air. I have totally forgot that i broke my own phone after it attacked me with its blinding skill. I continue to keep an eye out towards the glitter in the sky, so at least i can witness a possible greatness, when suddenly my hand starts to hurt so much, as if it was shot by a gun, i look down to see a hole in my hand, and an arrow stuck to the pavement right below its target, there was no noise at all when this occurred. It took a while to process all this in my head, but when it finally hits me that some fucking cunt shot me up with an arrow, i start to panic, before i can even start to scream at the top of my lungs in pain and for help, multiple arrows pierced through my upper and lower body, and lastly, my head. The Beginning 2 I was already dead before i knew it, but before i would fall unconscious, i was somehow able to mutter the words ¡°aw shit¡± as my dying breath. ¡°Well this sucks¡±, i thought. Unable to even feel pain at this point, i was also not able to move a single inch of my body, but that''s to be expected, since i am basically dead. Finally the bloody scene starts to change from the black sky the a white horizon, a bit too white in fact. Its so bright in here but for some reason i don''t squint at the light at all. Is this how heaven looks like, i thought i would be brought to hell for wasting a life given by God. There is absolutely nothing in this space, it''s just white everywhere, and i cannot even tell if the space goes for miles or not even a meter, i don''t have a sense of direction or distance here. ¡°This ain¡¯t heaven darlin¡±, said a unfamiliar and overpowering voice, but a voice of a woman. This made me panic, was i not supposed to reincarnate as a baby? Or did i have to die again? How long has it been now? Like an hour? As if i was heard by something, the darkness finally fades away as i open my eyes, were my eyes being closed the reason for the darkness? I could barely see, i can see colors but everything was so damn blurry, as if my eyes were covered in water. ¡°What! I saw 4 women in total, but i only heard 2 of their voices, one of them which was obviously my mother, was on the bed, with silver hair, long enough to touch the floor, and was almost as beautiful as the goddess i saw in the divine space, she also looked very young. The second woman was an old woman in a maid suit. And the last two were girls, one of them looked like she was 5 years old, with blond hair, she was the only person in the crowd that was not looking at me, as if she did not have a care in the world about my existence, the second girl on the other hand, about 10 years old, or at least by looks, had silver hair, and was looking straight into my eyes with a glittering look, this reminded my of the glittering arrows that had killed me, and i once again burst into tears. Extremely annoyed, the younger girl stood up quickly and left with her arms at a small angle from her waist, and her hands clenched like she wanted to punch something. What was wrong with her? I can only assume they were my elder sisters, their hair gives it off as well. I look back my parents and the maid, whom were awfully silent, when i take a look, i find them to in awe of something, most likely my looks. First Wish Magic was now my life goal, the Goddess said that I have an OP affinity to magic so I should have no problem using it, the thing is, that in this world, people achieve the chance to be able to use magic at the age of 8, which was a huge letdown for me, the the point I started to cry. I went into the forest, I thought that if I were to make a wish, something visually big would happen that would startle everyone, since a wish being made is extremely overpowered, it should look majestic. In the middle of the plains, surrounded by trees, I take a deep breath and close my eyes. ¡°I wish for the power to communicate with the Goddess of this dimension.¡±, and right on cue golden strings appeared out of nowhere, extending and dividing into many golden strings, making patterns then seem like a flower¡¯s stem until it completely surrounded me, a dim beam of light that hit the sky in the color of yellow appeared as well, with me as its center point, then everything eventually faded. I did not let it bother me to much. ¡°Anyway, I won¡¯t always be available to talk since im very busy, but I will net you know when im free, cya!¡± ¡°Yea, sure, cya¡±, sigh¡­ I had to wait until I became 8 years old until I can make my next wish, I need to make every single one of my wishes worth it, but the thing is, because of my lonely nature, I rather not try stand out too much, so I will probably put some restrictions on my own power myself. Anyways, time to wait another year¡­ Escape I never heard the Goddess since then, just how busy is she? Sometimes I would try to be the one to start the conversation but I get nothing. I am almost 8 years old now, not even a week to go! I cannot wait until I gain the chance to use magic, as well as my second wish. My mother would occasionally showcase her magic in order to prep me on what I am about to witness from myself. I did not like it when she did this, because it made me extremely jealous. I realized I never actually stepped into town as well, the only place I have been other then my castle, is the backyard garden, with would comprise of 2 layers, the garden itself, being beautifully decorated with flowers and arrangements, then the second layer, being a forest. But in the front of the house, layed the town, feeling as though I have been missing out, I decide to leave for town to explore the place my father owns and manages. But before I could do that, I change into clothes that wouldn¡¯t make me stand out as much, which was honestly hard to find, for some reason this made me feel like i¡¯m taking the fact that I am living as a rich noble for granted. I step out the front door, and walk back in. I just realized that I needed to get past the guards that protected the castle, they would obviously not want me to go out to town alone. I take a walk around the castle, acting like an innocent child exploring the huge castle, but I am actually planning out my escape from this prison, I need to found out the easiest way to get out, with the least guards and the least obstacles. After circling the castle multiple times, until even the guards were confused as to what I was doing, I finally came to a conclusion. There is no way in hell I will be able to get out of this place. Not only was it heavily and overly guarded, but the castle had multiple layers of metal and stone walls that protected the castle from completely all sides. However, it came to my mind that the garden was barley guarded, especially the forest, but the walls were still a problem. I go to check out the end of the forest until I get to the wall, there is one single door embedded into the stone wall available, and one guard. I need to find a way to distract the guard, but I couldn''t show myself, if I were to make myself seen by the guard, and try to get him to go away verbally, like telling him my father needed to speak with him, they would realise I would have gone outside the castle grounds if I disappear, since I was last seen by the door. But if they never saw me in the first place, they would think i''m somewhere in the castle grounds, and since this place is massive and maze-like, they would just think i''m somewhere and probably not care, as long as im technically within their reach. I try out the first thing that came to my mind, I take a rock and throw it far away from the guard, enough for him to have to walk a long way, but also enough for him to hear it, it seems to have worked, he heard the noise, and curious about what it was, he left to check it out. The teacher was just trying to make us very grateful for this blessing. On a certain day, we are finally sent to another room, which does not look like a classroom, but a training room instead. None of the people using the last method were able to achieve magic for the time being, but a few people were actually able to channel a small spark and such. Luna was one of them, I noticed that a few kids that either have not succeeded at channeling electricity and even people that have succeeded, were giving her an evil eye. Some students notice me in the corner, at this time, everyone was at least able to summon a spark or a flash of light while I was actually trying to use dark or light magic, they were mistaking me for trying to attempt to use lightning magic and failing to do so, so they started to laugh at me. My eyes are closed the whole process, and I do not feel anything until something wraps my whole right arm, is this was it feels like? Am I actually surging lightning through my arms? I open my eyes and long and behold, many temporary magical seals were placed on my arms, by none other then the teacher herself, who seems to have been broken into a sweat. Training 2 Everyone was staring, none of them was going on, and had the same question in mind as me. ¡°Keith, can you follow me to the principal''s office. You see, Keith here is not actually able to use lightning magic. If my magic was left untrained and unchecked, a major catastrophe would occur in the school, with a large chance of deaths. I was not ready to kill someone, so I was very obedient when it came to forced training. Many days of endless school and afterschool training pass by. I get ready to leave school and take a rest in my dormitory room, but am stopped by Luna as she was waiting by the door. This is not how it usually is so I have been paying close attention to Luna since then, until they started to act. As class ends, and Luna leaves to the washroom, I notice four girls tailing behind her. I could be wrong and they were just a group of friends that were headed the same way, but they were not talking to each other a lot, maintaining a serious face, and have been looking deeply towards Luna the whole time. This was more than enough evidence. I was wondering why they started to hold a grudge against Luna, but immediately realised that this was going to happen to her sooner or later. Luna was the most beautiful girl in the class, as well as the most respectable and strongest when it came to Lightning control. All the guys admired her, while the girls that were left out and ignored, hated her for every single reason I stated just now. Light magic is a magic that holds holy properties in order to temporarily strengthen an ally or oneself, it can even heal anything, from wounds to diseases, and even plants and such, depending on your strength. Some spells may include things like strengthening people''s physical capabilities, allow them to run faster, strengthening peoples magic capabilities, the list goes on and its unfinished. As for Darkness, as light magic¡¯s polar opposite, it does the opposite effect. Darkness magic holds properties of black magic in order to weaken enemies and such by afflicting curses. Some spells for this may include weakening someone¡¯s mentality, physical strength, magical strength, and so on. Understand?¡±, so basically, light magic was the ability to buff allies and heal, while darkness magic has the ability to debuff enemies, or anyone technically. I start to think about the way gravity works and how to control it. Realistically, if I were to afflict high gravity in a certain area, it would affect the gravity in that area from the highest point of this planet¡¯s atmosphere, to the core of the earth, that would cause a crap ton of trouble. I did not know how this gravity ability functioned but I tried my best to stray away from effecting the actual gravity point of an area, but instead make my own custom area where gravity is affected. Artists write down a spell onto an enchanted piece of paper while infusing mana into it while they write, then we place the talismans all over an area in order to make a barrier.¡±, the principle explained, this was not expected, for I was sure it was created by casting a spell, but this also meant that even I can do it, right? ¡°How is the strength of the barrier determined?¡± ¡°It is determined by the perfection of the writing on the paper, and the amount of mana infused into it.¡±, perfecting writing is going to take a lot of time so making barrier myself is not an option right now. ¡°Aren¡¯t there ways to make a barrier using a spell? This magic itself is basically the epitome of extreme strength, I consider this totally unfair since it is impossible to lose a match with this¡­¡± ¡°Just get on to it already¡±, the male professor was restless to find out exactly how talented his idol¡¯s son is. ¡°Ehem. the last affinity is called Chronos Magic, apparently it holds the ability to manipulate time itself.¡± ¡°What?¡±, the principal''s jaw dropped to the ground, and the male professor was stumbling all over the place as if he was drunk. ¡°Give me that.¡±, the principle forced the research results out of Kate¡¯s hand and took a good look at it, his eyes were bloodshot red. ¡°As for the known skills¡­¡±, kate continued, ignoring the fact that her boss just rudely ripped away her paper. ¡°Freezing or slowing down time.¡±, well fellas, good game¡­ good game indeed. Kate was right, there is no way I can lose a fight with this, it''s possible that it uses a crazy amount of mana, but I have almost an unlimited amount of it. I can easily stop time, and use a barrage of spells, or just simple go up to my enemy and shank them in the arse or whatever. I just thought about what I had just said, about using a barrage of spells, this made me realise, I don¡¯t really have any affinity that is really considered ¡®offensive¡¯, it is just ¡®cool¡¯ or ¡®defensive¡¯. Using Chorons magic and stopping time, I go up to the demon and launch him in the air with a kick to the stomach, I could have killed him right there but I wanted to test out a few things. Time unfroze as the demon was launched, a summon black chains from the mist and bind him in the air. With my final test, I use fire magic like before, but this time with an extreme amount of mana and condense it as much as I can into a ball of pure white light, instead of throwing it, it open up a small hole in the other end of the ball of heat, in the opposite direction of my palm, causing the fire to burst out like a beam from an anime I watched. The beam of light went through the demon and into the clouds in a matter of milliseconds, going faster than the speed of light and disrupting the noise vibrations around us like crazy, I cannot describe the noise that well, but it was like the sound of a bee¡¯s buzzing, but one hundred times deeper. The reason I launched him into the air was that I do not burn the forest, and since this went past the clouds, it would probably destroy many buildings too. I disable my darkness magic and look back if the others are safe, and they were, I think, their jaws were dropped to the floor which was humanly impossible, did one of my spells cause their jaws to deform? My first ability is called ¡®Chaos¡¯. It is exactly how it sounds like. The Chaos affinity has two different methods of use, first, to summon a natural disaster, capable of destroying anything you want to mere dust, the type of natural disaster is your choice, as you make it up. And for the second, it''s pretty simple, i can essentially make anything¡­ disappear, literally. With the power to make anything completely vanish off the face of this planet leaving absolutely no traces behind. Counter magic does not exist for this, it is impossible to protect against it, unless i use to more reasonable means and do a natural disaster instead. This power is already completely overpowered, the developers of this game made a mistake, but there was more¡­The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. Think about what is the opposite of Chaos, or complete destruction. It is creation. My final affinity is called ¡®Creation¡¯. This magic is very easy to understand as well since it''s simple. Basically, it has the power to create¡­ anything¡­ from life to objects, from mysteries to reality i can create anything i wanted, this was my answer to why i was able to use lightning magic and fire magic, i was not actually using the affinity, i was merely creating it using Creation magic. If i wanted to create a pheonix to run rampant on this planet, i can, if i wanted a girlfriend, i can just create one, but if i wanted to create life, wouldn¡¯t they just spawn mindless? Or wait, i can just ¡®create¡¯ their memories¡­ if you think about it in broader terms, depending on the value of the creation, it takes more mana to create it, as i have infinite mana, i can create anything, even a planet, wouldn¡¯t this make me almost a God already? Even though the Goddess said i couldn¡¯t achieve power close to a God. i am extremely confused right now and am having a tantrum. The ring that the principle gave me will be a lot more useful than i thought, at least i hope so.
