《Faded Hours》 Chapter I : The Meeting There was one child that were all alone since he was a kid. This kid is Shiki. He was born in a rich family full of noble wizards. All of his siblings were packed full of magic powers. While, he barely has enough magic to cast an offensive spell. Thus, all of his family members pay insufficient attention to him. All of his siblings thinks he''s a weakling among them. As a result, Shiki decided to leave his family house and decided to live in the forest for years. One day, Shiki decided he was going to collect mushroom in the forest. While collecting mushrooms, Shiki encountered a female fairy who has injured wing and cannot fly. He decided to take her home and treat her injuries. Shiki has read a lot of book about magic that includes healing.Upon the completion of the healing healing spell that has been casted,Shiki decided to go prepare food for lunch using the ingredients he brought back from the forest.With a lot of experience of cooking, he has made yet another delicious mushroom stew but this time he made two of them.Without hesitation, Shiki leaves the hot soup on the drawer beside the bed. After a while she wakes up. "I thought I died in the forest." she thinks she begins to check if theres any wound left behind and then looked at Shiki who was sitting at his desk reading a book Shiki looked at her "w...wwhat have you done to me..?" thinking that shiki has done anything pervy. Shiki was sitting there dumbfounded and told her. Luna Pherenice. Nice to meet you too." After they became friends, Luna said that she will cast a spell of Vision that will make her a human to others but not to Shiki since fairies doesn''t exist in the human society. She also told Shiki that she will be living with him here since she can''t go back to her realm. Whilst talking to Luna, Shiki told her that he will start getting the ingredients for dinner ready since the sun starting to set in the horizon. Shiki started to went into the forest in hope of finding some chicken or any edible meat. While walking Shiki forgot to ask her what she would like to eat. So he started to get any edible ingredients he can find just so he has enough stuff that he can make food out of. After a few a while Shiki returned home bringing a whole lot of stuff to cook. Luna on the other hand was insisting that she wants to help cooking just so Shiki can taste what the Fairy realm taste like. When the dinner completed, they both ate together. After dinner, they starting to get ready for sleep. Being the dense one, Shiki started to sleep in the bed with Luna "W..What are you doing?!" "Sleeping of course. Its okay if friends sleep together right?" "I..I guess so.." and Luna started to blush since she never slept with a boy before For the whole night Luna can''t stop blushing while thinking of that this is the first time she ever slept with a boy on her whole life. Luna managed to sleep somehow by tiring herself thinking of weird stuff about Shiki. Chapter II : Unwanted Reunion On one morning, Shiki asked Luna that he wants her to train him how to use magic and learn how to use fairy magic. Luna didn''t decline rather she accepted it but she is rather questioning on how can Shiki learn how to use fairy magic when he does not have fairy magic attributes in him. So Luna asked, "Hey, how are you going to learn fairy magic when you don''t have any fairy magic attributes?" Now Shiki is confused since he also does not know how. So he did some research with the books he has borrowed from the library when he went to the town nearby. For a long period of time, Shiki finally found the solution on how to give a magic attribute to someone. "Yes! I have finally found the solution" "What is it?" questioned Luna "it said here that the source of the magic attribute which is a person must connect their spirit and magic energy on the receiver" continued Shiki "How are we going to do that?" "Well...we have to sit in a magic circle while holding hands." "H..holding..hh..hands? I can''t do that I have never hold a boy hands before" what Luna thinks "Umm...don''t you have any other solution?" asked Luna "Theres this kissing one. It said here that it will give the magic attributes to the receiver without taking all of it" "k..kissing? I can''t do that either" Luna thinks again Luna cannot either do either of the steps but he really wants to help Shiki to use magic. Luna has no choice but to choose the holding hands method since she is not ready yet. She has to prepare her heart for him but she can''t do it no matter how much she wants to. "I..I guess we can do the holding hands method" said her while blushing in embarassment "Well since you agreed let''s get started" "w..wait would you give some time to prepare?" "take your time" said Shiki with a smile For the preparing part, Luna is trying to stay calm and not think anything weird about Shiki. This is hard for Luna since she is a bit inexperienced in stuff like this. After Shiki has drawn the magic circle, He called Luna which was still not calm down and still thinking about pervy stuff. Luna start to hold hands with Shiki but cannot stop thinking about Shiki with her perverted mind which resulted the ritual to be success since she is focusing on Shiki even though she didn''t mean to. And so, Luna teaches everything about fairy magic and some spell that she knows that can be cast by Shiki. He starting to take notes and focused on the training. Both of them trained until the evening starting to arrive. Shiki as usual starts to prepare tea for an evening drink time. Before he and Luna enters the house, an arrow came flying and went for Luna head. Shiki sense the danger and reacted in time. He managed to catch the arrow that has a note stuck to it. The note reads, "The fountain, Criselia town at 10 pm alone - the person you know" "Don''t go,it might be a trap." pleaded Luna "I have to know who this person is" "So you are going to tail me behind without them noticing" said Shiki in a confidence "Shiki...." Luna has never seen Shiki being this serious "Ok, I will tail you from behind to make sure you''re safe" "Thanks Luna, Now that I think about it you''re a nice person." "So, I will try and not make you feel worried." while Shiki smiles at Luna Luna blush intensely because of the smile. Thus the usual habit Luna has began to acts but not for long.Both of them having tea time together and after that Luna starts to take her bath while Shiki sitting in the room reading books. During bath, Luna starts to questioning herself that she just slept with a boy and even hold hands. Luna feels she is safe with Shiki and she don''t want to lose him forever. After bath however, Luna always told Shiki to sit outside and don''t peek. Shiki being the obedient kid he is, listens to Luna while he brings the usual book he always read over and over again. When 10 pm strikes , both them starts to head to Criselia town which is the town that Shiki always goes to. The immense aura and thick fog making the situation a bit serious. A shadowy figure is watching Shiki and knows that Luna is coming too. Luna without knowing that the shadowy figure is following her was taken as hostage since Shiki doesn''t follow the instructions. Shiki who is still walking towards the fountain doesn''t realize that Luna was taken hostage. As he arrived at the fountain, he saw his brother Zenki Cerise with Luna captured in his magic spell ''Fysallida Trap'' which creates a bubble that is hard to break and can only be release by the caster will "Zenki..Just what is your intention?" said Shiki while he''s trying to stay calm as possible "Oh..Shi-kun, Didn''t I tell you to come alone?" "It seems that you don''t follow the rules." "Please don''t hurt Luna" begged Shiki "You think weakling like you deserved mercy?" "This girl will be a great test subject to your older sister." "Zenki don''t hurt Luna, please" "Oh then what if I do this?" Zenki proceeds to take his knife and aim it on Luna. "ZENKI! DON''T YOU DARE!" said Shiki as he trying to still contain his angers "Oh? you like this girl? "All the more reason to hurt her." "Just what is your intention, Zenki?" asked Shiki "Nothing personal, I came here because I was tasked to find you to become the vessel" "Fine, I will become this "vessel" of yours but leave Luna out of this." "That won''t be a problem, I can use this girl as your replacement" Shiki decided to pull his sword on Zenki "If you''re not going to hand her back then I will have to fight you" "Theres no need for such unnecessary fights" "Come to the mansion If you want her back from Miki " Zenki teleports away with Luna in his hands. While Shiki went back to get his stuff and start heading for the Cerise Mansion,his old home. Shiki will not let his friend get taken away from him. Chapter III : Acceptance As he arrived at the mansion at 7 am , he was rather got greeted by a hordes of undead. He assumed it was Hidezaku since he uses summoning magic. Shiki has no choice but to draw his swords in order to enter. Without having a second thought, Shiki slashes his way inside. He made his way to the living room, but then saw a girl that is 2 years younger than him. He assumed it was a guest so, he tried to not be suspicious and went to Miki''s chamber where his older sister messes around with her magic and doing experiment. Upon his arrival he saw Zenki and Hidezaku waiting for him while standing behind Miki who is still preparing for the ritual to be conduct. "I see...the coward has showed himself" said Hidezaku "Well, I think both of us going to have some fun" replied Zenki "Okay enough games, hand over Luna." "AS IF!" Zenki starts to make his first moves "Hey, No fair you get a headstart first" Hidezaku also joins in Both of them starts striking Shiki and he has to fend them off with his sword "WHATS THE MATTER, SHI-KUN?" screamed Zenki "WHAT HAPPEN TO ''I WILL HAVE TO FIGHT YOU'' SPIRITS?" Shiki took a lot of fatal hit from both of them but he minimized those hits. What Shiki do know is that when Zenki starting to get cocky, his defense will drop thus creates an opening. He took this chance to throw his sword to cut the chain of Luna. He jump over both of them and catch Luna who was falling. "Shi..ki?" Luna who is barely concious sees herself in Shiki''s grip "e-eh? wait...Shiki is holding me? Kyaaa!! what just happen?" in Luna''s mind "Don''t worry, You''re okay now" "Hey! didn''t I told you to guard the chamber?" asked Miki "Whatever, I''ll smack you both after this" Miki uses her charm magic that manipulates a person mind. She managed to control Shiki and attempt to make him hand over Luna. He resisted as hard as he could. However since shiki minds is still pure, the spell only work for a second. "I''m guessing my magic doesn''t work on you" "But, What about this?" She grabs Shiki sword and stab him herself. "Stop this, now!" Before Miki can do any harm, the girl that was at the living room is standing at the entrance. "Nee-san what are doing?" asked the girl "Ummm..." However, Miki and the others still need to explain themselves on why they didn''t tell her that she has an older brother. Shiki cannot be seen anywhere on the family potraits and that would be one of the main factor on why she is not aware. Shiki finally woke up and gain his conciousness. "Oww...my head also where in god''s heaven staircase am I?" Shiki asked himself "Onee-chan! you''re awake!" The girl ran and hugged him "Wait, what did you say again? Onee-chan?" Shiki confused "Well, just like what you just heard. This is Chiaki your little sister" said Miki "I see..Oh wait! Wheres Luna?" "I''m right here." Luna standing behind the couch looking at Shiki "Now, what?" Shiki has no idea what to do since everyone is being awkward "You have to stay here" Chiaki said "I can''t" Shiki declined the offer "I''m not worthy to be part of the Cerise Family" "I''m nothing but a mere weakling to you people" Chiaki hugs Shiki tighter than before. "No! If you run the Cerise bloodline even if you''re weak, You''re still part of the family" said Chiaki Shiki pats Chiaki''s head and Zenki start to whisper to Shik''s ear. "Just live here. we''ll sort the stuff between us. Chiaki destroyed the garden last time she was upset." "No wonder you guys were behaving in front of her." Shiki finally understand "I guess I have no choice.But if I''m going to stay here, Luna has to stay here too." Chiaki smiles because of joy and agreed. However, "Then, Luna-chan has tosleep in the same room with me" Chiaki with smug on her face "Agreed, but don''t try anything funny on Luna without my permission" Shiki said "I feel like I''m a pet to these two" thinked Luna So Shiki was finally accepted by the family with Chiaki powers. He decided to live with them for a while with Luna. He checked his old room which was still remained untouched since the day he left and he took the initiative to clean it and remove the dust. This goes on until afternoon which was lunch time and all of them gather around. "its Miki''s best cooking" praised Chiaki "sniff* hmmm...smells nice" Hidezaku continues all of them were having lunch time and Shiki asked "What happen to mom and dad?" His siblings when quiet. "So you didn''t get news." replied Zenki "Huh? What news?" Shiki replied back " Mom and Dad..are dead" The happy atmosphere suddenly changed "I see..sorry for asking.." Shiki apologized Chiaki seeing everyone feeling down starts to fix the situation somehow. "Well then, why don''t we finish our lunch first" Chiaki said After lunch Miki asked Shiki to meet her at the chamber for something. Shiki understands and went to the chamber "Shiki, I need to show something" Miki pulled the fabric that was covering the tube and revealed the content. "Are those wings?" Shiki asked "Not just any wings, Shiki." "They are demons wings that has Devil magic attributes" explained Miki "Why are you showing me this?" "I was planning to make you the Holder for this Devil magic." "If you still wants to continue about this, I''ll let you know that I''m not interested on using other people magic without permission" Shiki continues Shiki decline the offer of becoming the Holder for the devil magic. His only intention was to make Luna stay away and not involved in his problem in order to protect her. He is doing this for Luna and himself in order to become a great wizard. Chapter IV : Something is wrong During the first night of the stay, Luna has to sleep in Chiaki''s room. Both of them are having a stare off. Chiaki stares at Luna with a serious face making her feeling uneasy. Chiaki decided to ask some questions to Luna. "How long have you know Onee-chan?" "F-for about two weeks now." Chiaki nods "Can you tell me what he''s like?" This question somehow give Luna a flash back on the days Shiki always slept with her in one bed and the holding hand part. "I guess he''s pretty straightforward and a very nice person..I think" replied Luna "D..Do you take bath...together?" "N..NO! we don''t.." Luna seems embarassed. "I see...have you guys do the ''thing'' yet?" Luna gets even more nervous than before. "W..we only slept...in the same bed" "So that''s why you''re not getting anywhere Luna-Chan!" said Chiaki as if she founds some clue. "Eh? What do you mean by that? Chiaki-san?" Shiki said Zenki whispers to Hidezaku "I bet it''s a wet dream." "Zenki what in heaven is wrong with you?" Shiki starting to have some thought about Luna''s past as to what''s going in Fairy Realm. Shiki asked "y-yes why? {Oh Creense the second god of the six, is he going to make his move?}" Luna response while thinking about nonsense "{Huhuhu..This is your chance Luna-chan.}" Chiaki thought while following both of them from behind. "Luna, I need you to tell me about what''s going in the Fairy Realm or do you have any memory of it." Shiki asked "Wha-AGh! it hurts!" "Luna! Are you okay? Luna say something?" "{What fairy realm? what are they talking about?}" Chiaki thought again Then, Chiaki run towards both of them. "Luna-chan! wake up" "Quick Chiaki bring Luna inside the house." Shiki commands Chiaki and Shiki carries Luna into the house and put her on the bed. "Shiki what happened to Luna?" Miki asked "I don''t know she just collapsed. Can you heal her?" "I''m not sure yet. I''ll see what I can do about it." Miki said Chiaki then asked Shiki to go outside the room. "Onee-chan, what were talking about the Fairy realm? fairies don''t exist." "It''s nothing..." "Be honest, whate were you talking about." "It''s something you won''t understand even if I try to explain it to you." Shiki is not sure what happened to Luna''s family but he felt like there''s going in the Fairy Realm. He really want to know what causing Luna to be in Human world. Chapter V : In search of History Shiki goes to the nearby town''s library to find anything about the Fairy Realm. He look''s for documents and records of the Fairy Realms existence but found nothing other than a book about a rogue wizard and a black wizard. He thought it might be useful so he borrowed it. Shiki also asked the Librarian if they have any book about Fairies or anything that involves Realms. "Fairies? We don''t have that kind of book here. But I think the black market might have what you need." said the librarian Shiki ask for the direction to the black market. The librarian told him the direction but he warns Shiki to not answer the calls of a woman in a ripped dark blue cloak. There''s rumor going on that the woman has been cursing people that answers her cries. Some people has fallen victim to her. They say that she is not a demon but something even worse. She is a beast that cannot be tamed or be catch. Shiki take the warning seriously and try to keep it in mind. He leave the Library with a book about the rogue and black wizards. As he arrives, the place is full of suspicious-looking people that can only be found in black market or an alleyway. He ask a vendor if any of the people here sells books about fairies. "Fairy''s book? I don''t know if they have it but, there''s a guy that sells book about curse and other secret document at the end." "Oh, Thanks for the information. I''ll check it out." replied Shiki Shiki heads down to the end of the market while passing by to some interesting stalls that sells lots of goods that you cannot get elsewhere. Items range to rare and only one in the world are sold to the people that visited the black market. Do be careful because you cannot always trust these kind of people. As he walk by, a woman in Black clean and still new cloak calls for him. This woman doesn''t match the description that was described by the librarian. The woman whispers to Shiki that she might have the thing that he was looking for. Without consent, she pulled Shiki''s hand to an alleyway and reveals herself. Her looks is still young and was very polite. Then, out of nowhere she hugs Shiki. "Aris, you''re alive!" said the woman Shiki is now weirded out. Even though this is the first time he visited this town. "Umm...I think you might have the wrong person." Shiki said in utter confusion. "But, you looked just like him." "I know that, but my name is Shiki Cerise. I have no idea who is this Aris you''re talking about." Shiki replied back "Oh, Sorry for wasting your time like this. In order to make up for it, Do you mind some tea in the house?" "I guess not" They both enters the door behind the alleyway which was the house of the woman. There''s also photos of people like they are some kind of a wizard traveler group or something. "Hey, who is this all of the person in this photo?" Shiki asked. "This is my comrades. We were a group of wizards that travels in search of evil." "What happen to them now?" "I''m not sure about the others but, Aris and that person in the middle was killed by the White Serpent during a quest." "Sorry to hear that." "It''s okay, these are old documents and records on places we''ve been to and mythical creatures we defeated. Check if there''s anything you would like to see." Shiki doubts "Why do you need these kinds of stuff? the woman ask "Oh I''m doing a research on the Fairy Realm. Something is happening there and I need to help them" Shiki replied back. "Your kindness is just like Aris. He always help people whenever there''s something wrong." "Talk about Aris, what''s your name?" Shiki forgot to ask her name before. "My name is Miyako, Miyako Crimson." She answers "By the way I think I have a record of us defeating a Fairy Dark Lord. It''s here" Miyako shows Shiki the record. "Thanks I''ll use this on my research, hope you don''t mind because I need to look for any book that keep the Fairy realm in record." "Sure just be careful on your way out" Miyako said to Shiki. Shiki heads out to see if theres a book about it. He arrives at the stall and ask the vendor if they sell such thing. "Do you have any book that record the Fairy Realm or Fairies in general?" "I think so,We have two of these by the same author but different title." said the vendor. "Thanks, I''ll take two of those." Shiki pays everything and heads home to his room and start by analyzing the document. "X274 - We defeated Ymmorth Zosrar. His last words were '' I will be resurrected and destroy the Fairy Realm and Human Realm.'' We will wait for his return while we have no idea if he really thinks the Fairy Realm exist. - Kriffin Magyarus" the report said. "So they defeated a guy who knows about the Fairy Realm huh? Let me see if the book be any help" Shiki thought to himself. "Page 46 - Fairies and Elf - Both of these creature used to live in their own realm. Like us humans, we live in our own realm and only these creature''s magic can make them visit us without us knowing about their existence. "Page 11 - Ymmorth Zosrar/Othorion Ecru - He was a noble wizard before he went rogue and has one goal that is to conquer the world. He was later defeated by the Legion of Shadow led by Kriffin Magyarus. His last words upon his death were to be resurrected to take over the ''Human Realm'' and ''Fairy Realm'' . His body were kept on guard but, after 3 years the body got stolen with no trace left behind. There has been no evidence of his resurrection nor witness that saw the body got stolen. - paragraph 4" is what was written. "I GET IT! I think I might be right about this and if this true then, I may need Luna''s magic to create the portal between Fairy Realm and here. I need to talk to Luna about this." Chapter VI : Suspicion As the sun starting to set, Shiki head towards to Chiaki''s room to see how Luna how is doing. He needs to know whether she can create a portal to the Fairy Realm with her current power. If not then he might need some help from his siblings. When Shiki arrives, Luna suddenly jumps to Shiki and pin him down. "Eh?! Luna, what are you doing?"
