 Prologue: Waking up in a different universe

    Because it is my birthday, I just turned up 19, I still have approximately 200 years to live, thanks to modern medicine.

    I was happy about that. a round trip to Mars, that''s my first out earth voyage for me.


    I''m an adult now, it''s time to immigrate to another place, maybe Mars is the destination, well I will make up my mind after I get there. I''m gonna try to discover everything, have adventures on other planets, so I would be able to recite stories to my kids and grandchildren.

    This trip was a dream came true. I always had a special feeling for travel, I think all humans have that feel, it''s in our genes.


    The first humans traveled along the earth for thousands of years, from Africa to Asia to Europe, America, and Australia and then out of the earth to the moon, out of the earth-moon system to Mars.


    Now Humanity live in 2 planets: Earth and Mars and soon we will get out from the Solar system to live in another system

    I did the check-in and got my boarding ticket, I entered the spaceship, sat on my sit, it wasn''t a window one but I''m fine with that.

    Some seconds after the takeoff, we are out of the earth''s atmosphere. Traveling to Mars last too long it''s one day with modern technology, still, that''s too much.


    I never traveled aboard earth before, but I did on it, I don''t know the reason, but every time I travel, I fall asleep, well this trip wasn''t different from the others, I slept

    I woke up in a bed, in a strange room, the style was too old, like 2 centuries old. The window is open and the Sun shining on my face


    "Wake up, you lazy bastard," said a woman looking like my mom


    "Where am I?"


    "In your room... it''s past 10, wake up and go buy some groceries for lunch".

 Chapter One: Where am I? Part 1: Weird History

    I stand up, I was wearing a pajama, I never saw it before and I found it a little strange, I always hated this color and why am I wearing it? I''m used to sleeping naked not mentioning waking up early.


    I changed into a T-shirt and a jean went outside of the room.


    "Take this 20 dinars, go buy some onion, tomatoes, potatoes, Lettuce, chicken, and paprika. I''m gonna make Pasta and French fries today"


    That meal is weird. I took the money and went outside. In the street, I saw Roads full of Diesel cars, this is too old and I know that it didn''t last too long, it''s in the past. Did I just time travel?


    I went to the nearest Supermarket, it wasn''t hard to find it even though I''m not from here. I got what the woman that looked like my mom told me to buy.


    "Hello, I would like to buy this, please"


    The man stared at me weirdly.


    "I didn''t know you are kind. that would be 13 dinars"

    I took the bill and went outside the supermarket, I looked at the paper and found that today is 12.03.2018, that''s the same Monday I left to Mars. That means I didn''t time Travel. I think I just wake up in a parallel Universe.


    I know how to go back to the house I wake up in. But I figure out that exploring the Area is better, so I made a Tour in the Block.


    I was shocked by what I saw, this is very weird and disturbing. Weird ideas written on the walls like "Fall to the government" and " Immigrants should get out of this country". Why are humans hating each other?

    This did happen in my world but in the past, human brain developed enough to figure out that we are all the same and cultures have the same goal, to make us live better and happy. So all cultures belong to humanity. You can solve mathematical problems with different methods and you can live your life in different Cultures. No culture belong to anybody, it belongs to everybody.


    In my world, hate was in the past, when people were fighting to make the world under one religion, there were too many of them, so the fight could be forever but instead thanks to the knowledge share, people figure out that we are all the same and with solidarity we can achieve our goals better, faster and make the impossible possible. So peace ruled the world for centuries.


    But this world is different, it''s catastrophic, I need to know what happened, to do that I need to get access to the internet and do some research to get some information.


    So I went back to the house I woke up in, gave the groceries to my mom and went straight to the room which must be mine. I opened a device looked like an old ass computer. We had internet in the house but it was too slow, 1GB/ sec, it would take hours to download a game or a database with that speed.


    I found a website called " Wikipedia", someone made a website to share information in it, that''s cool in a world like this.


    I started looking for historical events. the ancient history is the same, the beginning of the Middle ages too but the point where all began to change is the Mongol invasion of the Abbasid caliphate which led to the destruction of one of the most famous libraries in the history of Mankind "Dar el Hekma" (House of Wisdom)


    "With all other libraries in Baghdad, the House of Wisdom was destroyed by the army of Hulagu during the Siege of Baghdad. The books from Baghdad¡¯s libraries were thrown into the Tigris River in such quantities that the river ran black with the ink from the books."


    Those books were meant to be translated in many languages and start some revolutionary movements like the Renaissance which I found out it happened in this world but slow and late which made this world 2 centuries or more late.


    I kept searching, I found out that too many events happened in the age of Rising like plagues, world wars, and colonization which divided this world to 195 nations, in mine, we were united.


    There are some weird problems in this world like overpopulation, we didn''t have that issue, maybe because we exploited more resources from the earth and other planets, out population is 6 times this world''s population, 50 billion to be precise.


    The bad thing in this world, Humans here are in desperate need to develop scientifically faster which would be easier if they unite. we predict that earth will face massive destruction events in the next century, we are safe in my universe because we have the tools to prevent the predicted danger but here, they don''t.


    If humans here don''t change they will face extinction.

 Chapter One: Where am I? Part 2: News and Politics

    Adapting to this world''s life isn''t easy especially because of the situation I found myself in, as I have noticed, I''m in a country ruled by a dictatorship. The President is in office for 2 decades and he''s ruling alone. In the election, he acts like a nationalist to get approval from his people but in reality, he only cares about his personal''s interest, not his country''s and not Humanity''s.


    Too, I''m living in a different region, a continent away from where I used to live in my true universe. So the landscape is new for me, this place has virgin beaches but where I used to live, we had a Desert, I think I''m lucky on this one.


    Every day is passing, I''m killing the time scrolling on social media to gather information and news which are a little weird and scary. Racism everywhere, anti-immigration is a hot topic in this world. There''s something called illegal immigration. I can''t understand how something humans did since antiquity can is considered illegal. Our species immigrated from places to places for Hundred of years. we are all sons of immigrates and it''s in our nature to immigrate like all other species, every one of us just wants to get a better life. Even animals immigrate, it''s common for all species.


    Anyway, we haven''t that problem in my universe, we have a universal constitution. Free and open World is guaranteed by it and immigration is the right to all species.     If Human evolution was a chemical reaction, immigration would be a reagent, it makes it faster. Banning immigration would brake the evolution and that''s a treason to Humanity.


    I noticed that politics here is mostly ruled by the rich to make themselves richer: they get tax cuts, loans that they can easily escape paying them. Rich people getting richer while the poor one getting poorer that''s the situation in this world but is this beneficial for the Rich?


    Of course not, it doesn''t matter how much money you have, it matters how you live and where you live.it doesn''t matter if you have a car if there are no roads. it''s better to consider improving the quality of common human needs because it will beneficial to you and indirectly all others. ( like transportation)


    But people here are selfish. which will never help them. They need to share to get real benefits.


    Humans here are in desperate need to unite together. But how are they gonnado that if they are separatedin more than 200 countries worldwide, in many ideologies, faiths?It''s hard but not impossible, we did it in my universe, so can this one too.


    But let''s face it, it would take time to convince people here that unity is the key to human evolution which is beneficial to all. Almost every country is ruled by nationalist who won''t care about humanity but only about their nation''s interest. This act was the direct reason for wars like the so-called" world war I and II". So it''s obvious, man should get rid of nationalism if he ever wants to unite humanity. they need to start making debates and asking questions like " are you loyal to your country or to humanity?"


    I hope they unite.
