《Taming Dungeon》 Prologue/Chapter 1: Here we go again... Leonhardt Udalth was a middle-aged man reaching the thirty years with a short crisp black hair and patchy beard which he never tried to cut or take care of it. He also had bright brown eyes adorning his boring oval face, Leonhardt leaning on the short side was many times bullied because of it, not that his ''friends'' needed of only his height to be the material for the bullying. Since Leon was... for a lack of better word, mediocre. If he lived in another age or even another universe, being normal without any special talent wouldn''t be that bad, but in his world which have special windows pooping in and out giving people Skills, being normal without a special talent was the worst thing that could happen to him. Even babies were stronger than him and they have more Skills with high levels. The situation was so bad to Leonhardt that he didn¡¯t he even had the Skill, [Puking], which all the babies have and are highly experient in always vomiting in the worst times possible while perfectly aiming at their parents¡¯ faces. Their Skill level must be at least Lvl 100 with such ability. Joking aside, at least he couldn¡¯t say he hadn¡¯t a Skill, but it was only one with Lvl capped at 1 for years. It was the [Taming Lvl 1] Skill. He for luck received after trying for fourteen years to his cat to let him caress its head. The happiness he felt in that moment was indescribable, however, his hope to level it up was short lived. As his cat never really obeyed him in the last four years. Thinking about his cat made the pain of separation resurfaces again principally because of the situation his world is now. ¡°I wonder if he is eating properly? He isn¡¯t a young cat anymore with all the cuteness that comes from the young age, would the Aliens spare him if they one day found the slaves I let to take care of him?¡± Leon said aloud gazing in awe to the holes where a bunch of Alienswere coming from to attack all the capitals of the entire world. The swirling purple holes were an oddity never seen in his world, you could perfectly see them no matter where you are, the proof of this was how Leonhardt could even tell the details of the Aliens coming from it in all the capitals. He didn¡¯t know the exact distance to the others countries¡¯ capitals, he knew he was at least three million of kilometers from his country¡¯s capital though. Since he is at its country border. The meaning and concept of distance didn¡¯t seem to be part of the purple holes¡¯ dictionary. And beauty also seemed not be part of the dictionary of the Aliens too, although he can be mistaken since beauty is a concept too much subjective. The Aliens were a mass of what seemed a pitch black sludge patched together with various miscellaneous objects surfacing and disappearing on their body, they had numerous cruel eyes purple as the hole where they were coming from. They didn¡¯t have any other apparent members with the exception of the tendrils full of bulges that were intertwining between themselves as each bulge exploded to only be substituted by another. Their appearances were worthy of being called of monsters, however, because of the definition of Aliens he learned with his ancestors(seniors) the name Aliens seems more appropriate. ¡°Gross. Better concentrate back on finding my rest place in the last minutes I have of life.¡± Leonhardt continued to walk in the forest, not caring about what seems the end of the world. It is not like he was special or strong enough to do anything about the Aliens, so why should he care about them? He was just mildly worried about what his cat will be eating from now on and he doubted his parents would even get hurt by the Aliens, that was the amount of faith he has in them. Leonhardt, at what was supposed to be his prime age, was friendless and never get involved in any kind of relationship that wasn¡¯t part of his family. Since small he was detached from everything, the only people he talked with pleasure were his loved family, his ancestors(The Lords) and his cat. This got even worse when the medics using magic apparatus discovered he had an unknown Terminal Illness. He hadn¡¯t a strong grip on his identity as a Human or of the reality, so he didn¡¯t care about the new windows that weren¡¯t the normal Skill Windows appearing at his front telling him that he now can pick a [Class], see the [Status] or that he has 0 [People Points] and is in critical danger of being killed. He just walked on, not worrying that his world never had such features or if it is going to end today. I am probably going to die in twenty minutes anyway, he observed seeing the lump of blood coming from his mouth and how it became harder to walk. Finally finding the perfect place for his rest, a damp cave that seemed that will collapse because of the tremors and how the walls were fragile with stalactites and stalagmites everywhere. As if waiting for him enter the cave, memories from all his life came to him as a flashback while he ignored the buzzing and glow from the black gem he uses as an amulet on his neck. The memories of his childhood were fuzzy, but he still could clearly remember all the humiliation he received every day for being weak and short, now thirty years old he can laugh of it without crying. Those were good times¡ maybe not. When he completed twelve years was the moment his life changed, on his birthday when he blew off his birthday cake¡¯s candles not only the room became dark, but his world too. Days later he woke up on a bed in a hospital and was told that using the Skills and magic disponible to them, he was diagnosed with a new Terminal Illness and the hope to his survival was¡ zero. It was spirit-crushing notice, principally because the medics didn¡¯t have the ¡®tact¡¯ to call his parents before giving his ¡®expiration date¡¯, what did they expect would happen if they told a bullied boy without self-esteem such notice when the parental love wasn¡¯t close to him? Of course, he broke. The barrier of what was real or what was illusion disappeared as tears flowed down and a hollow, soulless laugh sounded from the throat of the boy. Was he even a Human at the eyes of medics? No¡ was he even a living being? They were a bunch of heartless bastards that only thought of money, this thought resounded in the small Leon¡¯s head as he was forcibly sedated. His parents made a ruckus about it and the medics were punished because of some random law or just because his parents were close friends with the mayor of his city. The damage was already done and his parents thought of the best solution they could do in a short time frame before their son decided to suicide, they gave him a pet. A white as snow cat with fur that seemed to glow in the sunlight. And that until today was the best day of Leonhardt¡¯s life. A year passed without him going to the school and the scars on his heart were gradually healing but made his total detachment to everything that wasn¡¯t his family, cat or ancestor even worse. Since none of his ¡®friends¡¯ went to visit him when he most needed. His family began to sink deep into debt searching for a cure, and that pained Leonhardt, making him decide to appeal to his ancestors for help. Lord Second taught him not how to paint, but how to copy all his paintings that were considered the best ones in all the Multiverses. And told Leonhardt to sell them to become rich and help his parents. And that he did with a facility so big that he thought he would at that moment receive his first Skill, [Painting]. However, that didn''t happen and he no even gained the Skill, [Copy], to prove to himself he was good at something. Skills are granted based on the latent talent of the person, so even if Leonhardt painted with his own hands the most beautiful painting of the world by copying his ancestor, he didn¡¯t earn either [Painting] or [Copy], because he doesn¡¯t have latent talent for any of those things.Help support creative writers by finding and reading their stories on the original site. Nevertheless, the painting was a masterpiece and it together with others paintings was enough to give money to his family sustain themselves forever. Years passed once again in his flashback as Leonhardt rested his tired body on the cave¡¯s floor. Full of money and without any needs as the cure for his disease was never found, Leon¡¯s parents convinced him to return to the studies in a military academy as it was less prone to someone bully him because of him being weak or with a Terminal Illness, since the people in the military academy have better things to do, like train to protect the royal family for example. He learned how to use all kinds of weapons thanks to the instructors there together with the general knowledge his ancestors gave to him to try to pass the year. In the end, his body couldn¡¯t endure no even raise the weapons for more of one minute and the knowledge of all fighting styles were wasted. He later went to university to be a veterinary to treat better his cat, although he had to take a bunch of lessons of a new surging course that makes biologists to finish his course with a doctorate degree, the experience was delightful and innovative with the concept of cells made by a new random genius. Reaching the end of life, he decided to spend his money on charity and any really expensive stuff, like the black jade on his neck. For only one reason. Why not? If he had the chance to do good or evil with the money he sees no value within, then why not be good and help other people in similar situations of him. He even picked the habit of contracting homeless people and slaves to his mansion to them to have a better life, they looked at him as if he was savior which he didn¡¯t like that much. It was everything just a whim. Making him not feel good when he saw them with eyes full of hope for a new future. It was funny to Leon how envy works when you are most close to your final destination. In this last year of his life, he decided to travel around the world, not forgetting of freeing his slaves and giving money to his employees, enjoying everything the world could give to him while planning to his rest be in this cave. The cave wasn''t known well enough to receive a name, but it was a dangerous area with the danger of collapsing any moment, being perfect to be his grave as he wouldn¡¯t need to dig one since the cave could collapse at any moment, swallowing his body beneath the rocks. Born in a cave as his parents fled from an enemy, dying in a cave as he fled from his family. A perfect combination almost poetic. ¡°So this is death¡? Not bad at all, I even had the chance to see my family and cat one last time in my memories. I am going to your sides, my ancestors.¡± Leonhardt drew his last breath with a satisfied smile while closing his eyes. [You have 0 PP left.] [You died.] ¡°Welcome, little brother, Lord Sixth. We were waiting for you.¡± Lord Second opened his arms and gave Leon a tight hug that you only gives to someone you love, your family. ¡°Do you want to play a game of chess with me?¡± Struggling to breathe as Leonhardt gazed upon the blank place where all the True Udalths go after dying, he said. ¡°It will be an honor. Senior, Lord Second.¡± Leonhardt turned his head and noted the lack of Lord Fifth in between the others Lords as he expected. The man still feeling guilty by him being the reason Leon born without talents in his family. A board of chess appeared and what seemed hours passed as Leonhardt felt happy by passing the eternity playing games with his ancestors. Being between family in death is the best, thankfully I don¡¯t need to worry about being reincarnated as I am a True Udalth. ¡°Ho? Interesting.¡± Lord Second snapped his fingers and the time in all the Multiverses seemed to stop. ¡°What¡¯s wrong?¡± Leonhardt said struggling to come up with an answer to the black queen attacking his knight. ¡°Something is trying to revive you and I temporarily interrupted it. Do you want to live again?¡± ¡°Humm¡ not interested. Life should be livened only once without reincarnations or time travels.¡± To win he will need to sacrifice his pawn that is almost being promoted. ¡°Good point, but don¡¯t you think you didn¡¯t really enjoy your life? You did nothing amazing or breathtaking, a second chance to become powerful and mark your Udalth name in the Multiverses seems quite fair in my opinion considering what kind of existences we are.¡± ¡°Still not interested, I don¡¯t see much value in being alive.¡± Lord Second clapped his hands beneath his silvery white eyes and black hair, discovering the best solution. ¡°How about we gamble in this game of chess?¡± Hearing the word gamble from the cautious Lord Second made Leonhardt suspicious, but there is no chance his ancestor would do something bad to him, so he calmed down immediately. ¡°What kind of gamble you have in mind?¡± ¡°If I win, you will let yourself be revived and if you win I will take you to Lord Fifth. You like him despite him being the reason for your woes, right? I and Lord First, that glob of Destruction, will be there to be certain you two will play games and talk a lot as good brothers. The first game you will play with him will be our favorite game, Uno.¡± ¡°Pawn to B7.¡± Leonhardt let his chess movement tell his determination, he is definitely going to play with the ancestor he feels the closest connection! Unfortunately, in only two movements Lord Second crushed him. ¡°Checkmate.¡± Lord Second was just toying with him since it was the first game after Leon died. Leon sighed and stood up. ¡°Fine¡ I will live again.¡± He said with frustration and annoyance perceptible in his voice. ¡°I know if you go without an objective you only get yourself killed again. How about this?¡± Lord Second made appear a round pure white soul. ¡°Do you know what this is?¡± ¡°This is the soul of Lord Seventh that is gradually being created after I died.¡± Leon instinctively said, feeling a connection as close to Lord Fifth from the white soul. ¡°Correct. And if it continues in this way Lord Seventh will be weak and talentless like you. True Udalths receives powers and talents from their predecessors creating a Link in this way. Do you want to make your junior, Lord Seventh, suffer from the same things you had to endure? All the humiliation, sadness-¡± ¡°Of course not!¡± Leonhardt shook with anger just thinking about it, he won¡¯t let his junior live a bad life. ¡°But what can I do? I knew if I continued weak, Lord Seventh wouldn¡¯t be good. That was the principal reason I went to the Military Academy. Even if I revive won¡¯t I continue being the same person, without talent or powers?¡± ¡°Who knows? Only you can decide your own Fate, but I will tell you this to make you less worried. A chance for you become powerful exists if you get revived, I can feel it.¡± A door of light surged, inviting Leon to enter. ¡°Go become powerful not because you want to save the world or for yourself, but go for our little brother, your junior. To make certain he won¡¯t suffer like you.¡± ¡°I will come back more powerful, wait for me.¡± Leon hugged the small soul and confidently walked on the door of light with a clear objective and determination present in his eyes, for his family he will do anything. And nothing will stop him. He is certain of it since he completely trusts in the Lord Second¡¯s ¡®feelings¡¯ and prophecies. As Leonhardt disappeared in the door, Lord Second snickered. ¡°My little brothers are so gullible. Sometimes is just too easy to trick them.¡±
[Congratulations! You have successfully changed your Race.] [You are now a Core-Master(Half Dungeon Core and Half Dungeon Master).] Leonhardt couldn¡¯t understand what was happening, how could he be seeing himself in the third person? ¡°Finally you have woken up.¡± His body said to Leonhardt while a tiny person, even tinier than a dwarf, was gluedin his shoulders with little wings at its back, it was a fairy. ¡°You are now the black jade on the ground. It was supposed to me, the Dungeon Master, and my Dungeon Core, this fairy, to create a Dungeon and be slaves of the Ex-Phantasmas to train all the people of this planet, but why would we want to be a Trash Rank Dungeon?¡± The previous Dungeon Master continued as Leon felt the opportunity that Lord Second talked about coming to him while he was worried the previous Dungeon Master would drop dead at any moment before he could gather more information about his new body. ¡°For luck, one the random Dungeon traits we could choose came as [Body Change], [Possession], and [Time Revival]. And that¡¯s how we revived you, changed the bodies where our souls live and possessed your body as we didn¡¯t know how to actively move it... enough of chit-chat. Good luck being a slave with the body of a Dungeon Core and Master-¡± And there it comes, Leonhardt thought in pity as blood came from the previous Dungeon Master and the Fairy¡¯s mouths and they destabilized themselves knocking their bodies over the fragile cave¡¯s walls. ¡°Your body is-¡± The previous Dungeon Master tried to talk, but his voice was muffled by the rocks falling over ¡®his¡¯ body because of the impact he made when he got destabilized, crushing and killing him and the fairy. ¡°...¡± A Terminal Illness only ends with the patient dead, however, it seems being revived isn¡¯t enough to escape from it or doesn¡¯t make it stop working to kill its victim. They are called Terminal for a good reason, not even magic can cure them. Although the true reason for it still be working is the ¡®time¡¯ word in the [Time Revival]. The souls from the previous Dungeon Master and Dungeon Core floated from the rocks and Leonhardt awkwardly looked at them without knowing what to say, it wasn¡¯t his fault that they didn¡¯t try to discover the reason he died, right? Or that they didn¡¯t know how fragile the walls are. ¡°Give back our-¡± The souls tried to scream, but a black hole appeared over them and from it, a skeletal white bone hand came and grabbed them back as the black hole closed. ¡°What the fuck just happened?¡± Leon screamed to no one in particular. And that was the beginning of the Leonhardt''s life as a Dungeon with the lowest Rank in the planet and without the [Monsters¡¯ Loyalty] trait thanks to a certain someone that just wanted flee from his duties. Chapter 2: The Outside World is Scary Leonhardt looked well at himself with this vision that seemed to encompass everything as a circle and calmed down after thinking the bone hand was probably the Soulkeeper or death itself. For starters, his actual body was the round black jade he bought on a whim. Was it special or was just a coincidence his body ended up becoming¡ what was the name again? ¡°... I think it was a Dungeon Core?¡± As soon this words came out from Leon¡¯s imaginary mouth, a series of windows appeared. [Dungeon Core] [A living being created by the all-powerful First Creator to help people become powerful with Dungeons. The Core is mass of logical thoughts with little flexibility in its own thoughts, needing of a Dungeon Master to achieve all its potential.] [The current ownership of such powerful objects is of the Ex-Phantasmas, they send the Cores to planets that received the Gift while being attacked by the Invaders. They randomly choose gems on the planet for them to receive the souls from the Cores based on their Ranks: Trash, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Heroic, and Legendary.] That got Leonhardt by surprise, if he just asked aloud someone would answer him? The windows of Skills were something that never appeared so easily. ¡°Then am I a Dungeon Core right now? And what do you mean by Gift?¡± Leon already linked the name Invaders to the Aliens, he never heard about the Ex-Phantasmas though. [You are partially Dungeon Core and Dungeon Master thanks to the decisions of the previous Trash Dungeon to share their souls and combine in only one being before reviving you.] [The Gift is the system that permits people to fight against the Invaders. Dungeon Cores and Dungeon Masters also have it. You only need to say Gift or Status with the correct intention to see it.] Leonhardt not even got scared of knowing his Race got changed and already began to think in the future, what could he do to become powerful? ¡°Then¡ Gift.¡± He said deciding to see this ¡®Gift¡¯ before using the knowledge that is gradually coming to him after he changed his Race, but that he was suppressing to take attention to what the windows were saying. [General Information] Dungeon Name: N/A Dungeon Master Name: Leonhardt Udalth Race: Core-Master(Half Dungeon Core and Half Dungeon Master) Age: 0 Sex: Male Welfare: Healthy Rank: Trash Title: Sixth Destroyer Patron: None Classes: Novice Dungeon Master Lvl 1 0% Mana: 5/5 (+1/day) Essence: 1/1 (+1/min) Floors: 1 Inhabitants¡¯ Species: 0 Dungeon Points: 0 [Skills] Active: Taming Lvl 1 Passive: Mana Regeneration Lvl 1, Essence Regeneration Lvl 1 Production: Dungeon Core¡¯s Basics Transcendent: Time Revival, Body Change, Complete Possession, Possession Lvl 1 [Quest: First Floor Management] Make your first floor ready to the people of the planet D6C6S3 train in there for EP(Experience Points) until or after the end of the grace period granted by the Ex-Phantasmas Rewards: Dungeon Points based on your performance Leonhardt was in ecstasy, his theory that with a new Race he received a brand new talent for Skills was right. Now he had the chance to become powerful no mattering if he never can leave his Dungeon. And he even had now Essence, the energy his ancestors told him that was the basis of life and could create souls. ¡°First thing first, let¡¯s do what my instinct and knowledge inside of me are telling me to do.¡± From his small body, mana colorful as his black jade¡¯s body surged and claimed the first five meters around him and then extended in a straight line to the cave¡¯s entrance. The process took him about two minutes and cost him two of his precious Mana Points. But now he felt as if he was at home, serene and heartwarming despite the temperature in the damp cave, so it was worth it. The new Core-Master knew he could absorb things to receive Mana, Essence or even Dungeon Points, the only requisite was that it died in his Dungeon and couldn¡¯t be his creations. Since the Dungeon itself could be considered his body or stomach, Leon could absorb anything no mattering the distance inside of the Dungeon. But to take off all his doubts and clear the fuzzy knowledge inside of him, he decided to read through all the mini Skills inside of the Skill [Dungeon Core¡¯s Basics]. There was more or less thirty Skills inside of it and it took him over one hour to understand everything he read together with the rest of the Skills he received from the previous Dungeon. ¡°Dungeon Traits.¡± He said without shame of being embarrassed by saying the wrong thing to the Gift show him. [You already selected the only three initial Dungeon Traits that you could choose with your Rank. Wait until you Rank Up to select the next pack of Dungeon Traits. Unfortunately, you won¡¯t be ever capable of selecting the initial Dungeon Traits once again.] ¡°As I thought I won¡¯t be able to select the useful [Monster Loyalty] or [Dummy Core] traits, thanks to that now useless Transcendent Skills. How will I protect myself or become powerful without Monsters?¡± It was then his neglected Skill since he was a Human appeared on his mind. [Taming Lvl 1] [The ability that let yourself connect with any living being not considered as ¡®People¡¯ and order it to your binding. You can telepathically talk with your properly Tamed Targets. Trust and knowledge about the target are necessary to the Skill properly work, if not, the target will obey at maximum one order from you until you level it up more.] ¡°I just need to tame everything I create if I don¡¯t have their loyalty.¡± Leonhardt began to scroll through the list of things he could create to his Dungeon with his new revelation, he didn¡¯t have the confidence to tame something bigger and stronger than his cat though. ¡°With the Mana I currently have I can only create some plants, beings small as ants, a spider or a rat. But first let me absorb those rocks that fell down and my former body, I might receive something.¡± Taking care to the absorbed rocks not cause another collapse, Leonhardt absorbed them while letting some rocks glued to the roof to prevent the same situation to occur again. He didn¡¯t receive anything, probably because the rocks were already part of his Dungeon, however, he received a notification when he absorbed his body that had a fairy glued to it. [Body with a quality too high to be properly absorbed with the current Dungeon Rank.] [Error¡] [Calculating solution¡ sensing a connection to the current Dungeon Master¡ error¡ sensing two anomalies in the body.] [Solution found.] [Do you want to make this body your new Dungeon Master¡¯s body? As a Core-Master with the Skill Body Change, you can change back between your Dungeon Master¡¯s body and Dungeon Core¡¯s body whenever you want inside of the Dungeon.] ¡°Yes.¡± Even if Leon would have a real body that is not a gem, he knew he needed to be in his Dungeon Core¡¯s body to do anything to his Dungeon. [Error!] [The two anomalies are making impossible the process of reversing the injuries in the Dungeon Master¡¯s body. To continue the two anomalies must be deleted from the Gift system. Is it acceptable?] ¡°What are they?¡± [A altered by Mana MSA Terminal Illness together with MDOS, and a foreign object one day know as a Fairy or Dungeon Core. The energy received by the complete deletion of the Fairy(Dungeon Core) will be enough to make the Illness as if it never existed.] ¡°Go on.¡± And the thing that plagued Leonhardt¡¯s life was gone as easy as that with only two words, he was supposed to feel good by going back to his original body without a Terminal Illness to worry. Despite this, he felt as if things were too easy¡ he actually felt empty in his old body. Why can¡¯t he feel happy with this resolution? Did he have a screw loose after dying and reviving? Was the Illness he fought against his entire life so worthless and easy to disappear to this ¡®Gift¡¯? Then¡ what this Gift can¡¯t do? Leonhardt¡¯s brown eyes shone in his Dungeon Master¡¯s body. The happiness of having his Race changed and determination flooded once again in him as he forgot about his illness and concentrated in his future as a Core-Master to make certain Lord Seventh will have a good life in the universe he will be born. ¡°Now¡ sincerely, can you care to explain to me why a fucking ant cost 1 Mana Point? It is a third of my reserves.¡± Leon grumbled still knowing using an ant to his tests would be the best decision. [The cost of everything you create with the exception of the DP(Dungeon Points) are based on your Rank as a Dungeon and how you tamper with it. For comparison, an ant cost 0.000...1 Mana Point to a Legendary Dungeon.] ¡°Great, so I am like a million times worse than a Legendary Dungeon, good to know.¡± He sighed, even in another Race he isn¡¯t a special existence. At least he was already used to being mediocre, so he quickly destroyed all the arrogance he accumulated while reading the [Dungeon Core¡¯s Basics] as he thought he was already amazing.Unauthorized usage: this tale is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. Thinking about an ebony ant with six legs, elbowed antennae, yellow blood, a distinctive node-like structure that forms its slender waist and was said to be capable of carrying ten times its weight, Mana revolved around the round small core with the form of a black jade and according to Leonhardt¡¯s wishes and Dungeon Core¡¯s powers an ant appeared at his front while costing 1 Essence Point to make its soul and 0.3 Mana Points to make its body. [Level up!] [You are now a Novice Dungeon Master Lvl 2 0%. Mana and Essence Regeneration will from now on level up and increase their effects basing in the level of your Class, the Dungeon Master.] ¡°Wait¡ wasn¡¯t supposed to the ant cost 1 Mana Point?¡± He said observing the ant walking without purpose on the ground. And I seriously won a level by ¡®helping¡¯ the Dungeon Core create an ant? How low is the bar set to Dungeon Masters of Rank Trash Dungeons? Could be they don¡¯t properly guide their Dungeon Cores? [Thanks to your deep knowledge about animals, the basic anatomy of any living being and being aware of the concept of cells and atoms, the cost to create the ant was reduced as the Mana was guided to form the ant instead of being forced to access the database of everything that exists in the center of the Multiverses.] ¡°Who would know having the doctorate degree would come in handy? Not that I am complaining though.¡± Leonhardt changed back to his Dungeon Master¡¯s body and approached the ant since he couldn¡¯t use the [Taming] Skill in the Dungeon Core¡¯s body. Carefully extending his hand while putting it over the way the ant is walking on, he waited until the ant ¡®trusted¡¯ him enough to walk over it. His plan to make his [Taming] level up enough to him tame any other creatures he creates was to ¡®cheat¡¯ through what the keyword ¡®trust¡¯ meant in his Skill requirement. It wasn¡¯t like he was making a gamble, he had enough knowledge about ants to his Skill work and he already tested this method when he was younger. He wasn¡¯t capable of leveling up [Taming] only because he didn¡¯t have the ¡®talent¡¯, but since part of his body is a Dungeon Core full of Skills and talent he can¡¯t see the reason for him not finally leveling up the Skill with the old tricks he already thought about in the past to his Skill work. Leon grinned as the ant curiously looked at him while climbing his arm. [Level up! Taming is now Lvl 2. You can make any ant weaker than your Tamed Ant instantly yours.] With the ant in his arm, Leonhardt walked to the Dungeon¡¯s entrance and ordered the ant to left it. ¡°Fetch some leaves or whatever you can with your small body to me absorb.¡± The moment the ant¡¯s head went outside of the Dungeon, the head exploded spewing its yellow blood on the ground while strangely the rest of its body began to become motes of light. When the process ended, the rest of the ant¡¯s head and its blood continued outside of the Dungeon and its body from below the head became a small token with a symbol on it that was the mixture of black and red, some sort of arrow pointing to the front. ¡°So a creature from the Dungeon dies if it leaves the Dungeon and the body still inside the Dungeon become those¡ tokens? What are they?¡± Leon crouched to take the token, but his hand passed through it as if the token was just an illusion. [Dungeons can¡¯t have, absorb ou touch tokens, the People Points, which are the mean the people use to revive if killed. They lose PP based on what killed them, this is a feature given to only them to have a minimal chance to survive the Invaders. Not even Ex-Phantasmas, Invaders or Legendary Dungeons has access to this feature.] ¡°How unfair, then aren¡¯t they practically unkillable?¡± Leonhardt said as if he was never a Human, fully considering himself as only a Dungeon. ¡°How will I absorb things outside of the Dungeon? It¡¯s not like I can-¡± He stopped his own words, perceiving a problem in his thought process. ¡°Gift, can I leave the Dungeon? [Yes, a Dungeon Master can leave the Dungeon to help the Dungeon Core gather resources. You are a Core-Master though, so you will have limited time to do it before dying.] ¡°Why you didn¡¯t tell me earlier? I lost an ant for nothing.¡± [The Gift is a system heavily based on emotions and thoughts that only rewards the ones that actively seek and make questions while always looking at the future, it is not obliged to tell or answer something you didn¡¯t think or sought. The lazy and the ones living in useless debauchery have no place in the Gift¡¯s heart.] ¡°Wow, I got a harsh response than I thought.¡± Leon hid his Dungeon Core¡¯s body beneath some spare rocks scattered through the cave and mentally prepared himself to leave the Dungeon and go to the world where Aliens are attacking. [00:00:00:10:00 minutes remaining] [The timer will only reset after the day end.] With the timer to his new death hanging over his head, Leonhardt began to run to gather resources while taking one second to look in the direction of the capitals and discover the purple holes were gone. Or the Aliens took over the planet or they were repelled, Leon tried to not think much about it as he picked everything he could found, even twigs and mushrooms. Making quick travels, Leon put everything in his Dungeon and didn¡¯t absorb them yet, he didn¡¯t want to lose his precious time. I am too far away from the river to pick fishes or water in only ten minutes, so I will content myself with these apples and the acorns I found far away from the apple trees which I ended up stealing from that nasty squirrel, does it cost too much to share a little with someone in necessity? Later I will tame that stupid- After Leon put the first acorns on the Dungeon and was in the process to steal more from the squirrel with the timer at 2 minutes, he heard a growl behind him. Turning around he saw a big and tall black fox with upright triangular ears, pointed snout, a long bushy tail and two things he never thought he would saw in a fox, scarlet slit eyes and a curved single horn in the middle of its ears. ¡°This is impossible-¡± The fox pounced on Leonhardt, bringing him to the ground while trying to rip off Leon¡¯s right arm as it failed on its aim, its original objective was a clean bite on Leon¡¯s neck as the black-haired man was distracted fighting the tiny squirrel, but its excitement on making its first kill after being summoned made Leonhardt hear it and instinctively put his arm over his face. The acorns fell off Leon¡¯s arm and he began to struggle with the fox on the ground as the impertinent squirrel took the chance to take back its nuts amidst the danger, how much that thing like its nuts? Throwing his best punch with his left arm at the fox¡¯s snout, Leonhardt picked its horn on his hand as the fox got disoriented and hurled it as far as possible. [00:00:00:01:13 minutes remaining.] I am going to die, Leon thought as he began to desperately run back to the Dungeon with false hopes that he will have a chance to survive there, if I am going to die again at least it could be once again in the cave. Centimeters away from the heartwarming cave, the fox reached him and took a bite at its leg, it didn¡¯t know why Leon was so desperate to enter the cave full of Mana but feeling danger, the fox began to drag Leon by his leg while at same time trying to rip it off in vengeance by the punch it received. ¡°You are too insistent!¡± Leonhardt tried to kick it away from him, however, the fox was adamant this time in ripping his member off. [00:00:00:00:25 seconds remaining.] Giving up of throwing the fox away from him as stones were only inside of the cave, Leonhardt began to crawl to reach the Dungeon. With blood coming from his nails as he was slowing winning the contest of strength and willpower, Leonhardt ignored the pain coming from his bloodied right arm and leg for the chance of survival in his Dungeon. [00:00:00:00:08 seconds remaining.] ¡°Damn!¡± Shouting to give illusory strength, Leon flexed his arms and legs, even the one almost falling lifeless down on the ground, to make a jump to safety as if he was a four-legged animal. [00:00:00:00:06 seconds remaining] [Timer stopped.] [You are gravely wounded.] [In-] Flying some centimeters above the ground with the fox in tow, he reached the inside of the Dungeon and immediately picked a stone to attack the eyes of the fox that was stunned for being in the air for some seconds and how crazy Leon was to jump with his leg almost tearing off. ¡°...!¡± The monster let go of Leon¡¯s leg in pain and began to warily circulate around him with one of its eyes full of blood. Leonhardt wincing at the sudden surge of pain when his adrenaline got low and seeing how much of blood was pouring from his leg and hands, he took the chance that the fox isn¡¯t, for now, attacking him anymore to see the messages he received when he made his last jump. [Intruder detected!] [You earn 5 DP for the invasion.] [Disabling most of the Dungeon Core¡¯s Basics and functions until the Intruder is gone.] [Disabling Time Revival.] [Disabling¡] And the plan to bury the fox under the rocks he could create with his Core was gone, he wouldn¡¯t even be able to heal his injuries for now. Nevertheless, he earned 5 DP that is useless for now. Leon could try to reenact the scene of when the previous Dungeon Master killed himself in a rock collapse, but that would be too much dangerous. Who knows if in the next collapse the entire mountain this cave is under will fall down, killing him and the fox? Deciding that a careless decision will cause his death, Leon forcibly calmed down by thinking about his cat, how fluffy it was and the way it relaxed him while being at its side. ¡°Now, Gift. How can a fox have a horn? For what I know this shouldn¡¯t be biologically possible.¡± Leonhardt held the stone full of blood threateningly at the direction of the fox is walking. [This fox is a Horned Black Fox Monster that can be randomly spawned through all the planet together with others monsters after this planet received the Gift and the Invaders arrived. And this species is famous for its horn being capable of feeling its target heat and Mana like a reptile tinged by Mana.] ¡°So it works like a snake¡¯s pits? Then the structure inside of the horn and how it sends information to its brain should be similar to a viper and I doubt with that form and blood it doesn¡¯t have the same heart and organs a normal fox should have.¡± Reaching at this conclusion, a smile appeared on Leon¡¯s face. ¡°I can tame it with this knowledge!¡± This conclusion was correct, however, Leon didn¡¯t know that exist many beings with exact equal forms but with structures so different it can even be considered of two separate phylums. ¡°What trick should I use for it ¡®trust¡¯ me?¡± Leonhardt rocked his head quickly thinking in the solution before the fox decides to end its game of walking around him. He remembered the concept of Skills that his parents told him, Skills are the crystallization of your talent in doing something together with how ¡®well¡¯ you used it and your powerful imagination(thought) of the expected effect of it. This the reason why most of the users of the Skill [Heat Control] can¡¯t make water become ice, the relation of heat and fire is too ingrained in their mind to- ¡°Could be I am thinking wrong about the word ¡®trust¡¯ from the start? If the ¡®trust¡¯ in my Skill was from the literal sense of the word, then the taming of the ant would never work because I couldn¡¯t ¡®talk¡¯ with it to construct a ¡®trusting relationship¡¯ before taming it and I used a cheap trick to do it.¡± Taken by sudden inspiration, Leonhardt screamed. ¡°[Possession]!¡± From his body, bright lines made of light appeared and floated to the fox¡¯s direction. The fox tried to escape from them, but they were insistent as Leonhardt and the fox couldn¡¯t reach him to stop them since new lines were constantly being created as Leon''s face became pale. Without its left eye, the fox didn¡¯t saw a stalagmite while wretchedly running from the lines, hitting the stalagmite and it was finally bound by them. Leonhardt felt his soul and the fox¡¯s soul touching each other, and before the partial process of [Possession] was finished, he immediately activated [Taming] while stopping his [Possession]. [Level up! Taming is now Lvl 5. Any Tamed being will from now on become a Dungeon creature as soon as it enters the Dungeon.] [Level up! You are now a Dungeon Master Lvl 6 20%. Potential of the Dungeon Core doubled. Maximum Mana and Essence doubled. You can now see the basic status of anything in your Dungeon.] [Intruder gone.] [Intruder is now a Dungeon creature. Reactivating...] ¡°My ¡®imagination¡¯ was correct. As I thought I can make only a brief connection of souls thanks to [Possession] and what can be more ¡®trusting¡¯ than having two different souls be connected in a deep level?¡± Leonhardt gave a sigh of relief and rested as his body was healed by [Time Revival]. [Complete Possession: Locked] [A complete body and soul change only possible one time in the life of any of the targets and Skill Body Change is a prerequisite to its existence. This is a forbidden Skill as it touches on the domain of the Soulkeeper and punishment is certain to come to the ones daring to challenge her. The only current way to obtain it is to receive it as a random Skill in a Dungeon Trait.] [Possession Lvl 1: Partial] [By making two different souls touch and connect with each other at a deep level, the user can decide what will happen with the body of this Skill¡¯s target. The user will temporally take control of it while the target can¡¯t do anything about it, however, the requisite to this Skill work will need of the target¡¯s permission or of it being stunned while being gravely wounded.] [Obs: Commands that can bring the target¡¯s death, purposely or accidentally, are prohibited.] Chapter 3: Humankinds Dream is to have an Ageless Cat Charles looked annoyingly at the boy following him while he goes meet various of the nobles that came to him fleeing from their cities and also the Ex-Phantasmas that repelled those monstrosities above the capitals. In only two minutes those monstrosities coming from the purple holes killed or kidnapped almost all the people in the capitals, for luck the beings that called themselves as the protectors of the harmony, Ex-Phantasmas, came and saved the world. The problem came after it, hours after the incident while Charles was mourning his son¡¯s death with his wife, the nobles that were in fear of the world ending together with the Royal Princess, the Crown Prince and a otherworlder boy coming from a strange planet called Earth, what a stupid name for a planet, that were saved by the Ex-Phantasmas appeared at his house making his day even worse. The old man could understand one of the reasons they came here. With the country without a ruler, and with the Royal Bank and the majority of the assets that the nobility had in the capital burnt, they need more than ever of economic help to reconstruct the capital. Charles'' son was a genius so talented that the heavens plotted against him and forced him into a corner to him die at only thirty years old. If you consider that the life expectancy of Humans was one hundred-eighty years, his son was only an infant. However, even while being an infant he was the man most rich of the planet, his paintings were worth a fortune so big that all the rulers and multinational companies'' presidents risked having their treasuries be empty to get one of them. Leo''s paintings could heal a soul and had a beauty so mesmerizing that anonye that got one had the possibility of being addicted to them in a grade worse than the deadliest drugs existents. They never got bored of only looking at them forever. It was almost like the illness like his son had. It will only end with death. Charles arranged his grey hair into a ponytail and looked to see if his beard was properly tended, a habit his son never got from him, correcting his posture to him look like he was in his young days, strong, stauch and confident. He knocked on the door and announced his presence while wondering the second reason everyone came to his house. ¡°Charles Udalth F. Piero is here to talk. Can I enter?¡± Charles and his wife could be considered as being strong as they wore the noble black vest with belts to change the lower part to of a pants, but they weren¡¯t strong enough to even win against a captain or major of their country¡¯s army. Charles feared the situation that almost all of their country¡¯s strongest people had died and for consequence he and his wife became the most powerful ones. If so, the rest of his and his wife¡¯s life would be full of nuisances. The Ex-Phantasmas couldn¡¯t be here to tell him go fight those monstrosities because of it, right? Charles never feared a chagellend and he also didn¡¯t get scared by knowing his world could end with the appearance of the monstrosities, but he will ever only move himself to protect his family and slaves. The rest of world could go fuck themselves. ¡°Come in.¡± A deep and rumbling voice sounded from the scarlet painted room, the sense of power and royal authority as if the voice¡¯s owner was a king, made Charles enter in alert and be certain to not look smaller in front of the Ex-Phantasma, he and his family weren¡¯t pushovers, with a little exception of Leo. Although wasn¡¯t my son¡¯s fault he was so weak and short. At least he had courage and never backed away from his aggressors. Entering in tow with the annoying otherworlder boy, Charles took a glimpse of the Ex-Phantasma before sitting across it while ignoring the other Ex-Phantasmas that were standing up, probably servants. The Ex-Phantasma was a man, Charles suspected because of the voice and lack of feminine characteristics, and had a tinge of skin never seen before. It was sky blue with patches of white skin mixed to make the skin more pale. ¡°What can I do for you, Mister¡?¡± Charles said with gentle brown eyes to determine the personality of the ¡®person¡¯ he is talking to. As more abrasive and arrogant the person is, Charles has the habit of being even more than them to crush their pride and ego. ¡°The name is Drauq. Don¡¯t be so tense, I am not here to fight with you. I am here to save the harmony and all this planet¡¯s living beings.¡± Drauq opened his arms that only had three fingers with interdigital webbing in each of the hands while ¡®fixedly looking¡¯ at Charles with his four pitch black soulless eyes. No matter how hard you try you can¡¯t see his pupils, raising the question of how he even see something. The Ex-Phantasma used his skinless tail to pass something round over his bald head to Charles. ¡°I have come here to meet you, the most powerful person and with the rarest [Class] in this world, and give you a token of appreciation. Please accept it.¡± And the fears of Charles became true as he warily took the exquisite green gem while feeling a little of Mana inside of it, it has the same amount of Mana that a baby has. ¡°What is it?¡± Cost nothing to gather information and presents before declining. ¡°Mister Charles, this is one of the two Trash Rank Dungeon Cores. If you crush it, you will receive more attributes to your [Status] or even a new special ability. This is our present to you.¡± ¡°My question wasn¡¯t answered, What is a Dungeon Core? And why are you guys helping us? I can¡¯t see the merit in doing it.¡± Charles could immediately see the value of such thing, in the short time he had entered in contact with the [Attributes] and [Class], he perceived himself growing stronger than ever, and it¡ worried him. A object that can even enhance its powers could be invaluable in this age full of enemies coming from other worlds. But¡ undeserved power is one of the most dangerous things existents. ¡°Dungeon Cores are just ¡®objects¡¯ made to make people like you more powerful, if you go train in a Dungeon where those things normally are, you will receive several boons. And there isn¡¯t a problem in destroying them if you see fit as they have uses even when crushed.¡± Drauq gave a humorless laugh as soon he perceived the otherworlder boy¡¯s eyes shining with greed. ¡°There is no need for a reason to save someone. Why you, ¡®people¡¯, are always like this? Thinking the worst of the beings you recently meet and so easily lured to the Seven Deadly Sins.¡± Drauq shook his head to his personal feelings not hinder in his job. ¡°If you need a reason, I can give you one. We are enemies of the Invaders, the things coming from the purple holes, and seeing their plans to kill and engulf everything to fail give us pleasure. So we are enemies of your enemies, does it satisfy you?¡± No. ¡°Yes, sorry for being so nasty. Must be the age, I am kind of old in my Race.¡± Charles gave a false laugh. Damn, he is the kind of person I most hate, the ¡®too good to be true¡¯ type. Being abrasive with them have the opposite effect intended. ¡°But can you answer me why this otherworlder boy is here?¡± He pointed to the red haired boy that only have sixteen years and looked like a stupid and useless pup which came from a mother that forgot how to properly raise her youngling. ¡°Ah... Him? We summoned him to be next Hero¡¯s candidate of your planet after you, the one that had the Class [Hero] without conquesting a Heroic Dungeon. People from Earth are useless in their planet but when they go to other worlds the ¡®shell¡¯ made by the Second Creator breaks and they receive a enormous potential to become anything, I even heard of them becoming Monsters.¡± ¡°Is that so? What else do you want of me? I have business to attend and the economy to save.¡± Charles nodded skeptical of the reason for a otherworlder to be called. ¡°Starting from tomorrow Dungeons will have beams of light to localize them and I want you to go to a Legendary Dungeon to train there to help in our fight against the Invaders. We already made the preparations to explain to everyone in your planet about Dungeons and [Classes].¡± ¡°Is only this that you have to talk?¡± Charles stood up while holding the Dungeon Core. ¡°If so, I am leaving now.¡± Fighting is good, but risking his life and doing everything a stranger tells him? He has better things to do, like making the biggest tomb the universe has already seen to his son for example. ¡°Wait a moment, don¡¯t you want to save the world? We can make any wish of yours true.¡± Drauq hurriedly said. ¡°No, I don¡¯t care about the world. Only about my family and slaves.¡± Charles glared at Drauq. ¡°Can''t you guys give me a little of respite? I lost my son today, why would I care anything about the world? Go fuck yourselves.¡± Finding the opportunity to make the stubborn old man do his job as the people¡¯s hope, Drauq said. ¡°We can resurrect him, take us to his body and we will revive him.¡± Charles snorted, as if his son was a weakling that can¡¯t accept his own death, he raised him better than that. ¡°Not needed, and I no even know where his body is. He had a Terminal Illness and fled to see the world before dying today.¡± ¡°What-¡± Drauq tried to talk but was interrupted by the sound of a girl holding a cat falling down from the door. The girl was ten years old with tears marks all over her face and the cat was so old that you could smell the odor of death coming from it. ¡°I am sorry, Master Charles!¡± She screamed as she tried to pick the running old cat that was toying with her as it began to walk around Charles. As Drauq was stunned by the sudden intrusion, Charles sighed and picked his son¡¯s cat. ¡°It¡¯s fine, Brandy. It¡¯s fault of my son¡¯s cat, Sampson D.R. Love Diamond Thunderfur Live Nine Times with the Golden Sun at the Daylight Royal Cassino, that you interrupted us.¡± The poor girl still couldn¡¯t get over her true Master¡¯s death, she was crying all the day. I can¡¯t blame her though, for the slaves living in this mansion my son was akin to a savior or even god. Brandy chewed her lips and hesitantly said. ¡°... Can Master Leonhardt really not be revived? I¡ no, we all miss him.¡± She said crying and staining her maid¡¯s uniform. ¡°No, life should be livened only once. Didn¡¯t Leo tell this many times?¡± Charles sternaly said while holding the grumpy Sampson. ¡°Sorry.¡± She dropped her head. Charles patted her small head. ¡°It¡¯s fine, one day you will understand.¡± He looked at the dying cat. ¡°Death should be always accepted, but what I wouldn¡¯t do for a way to make this stupid cat young again? He is the only thing that Leo really cared and I wanted to me die first than this old thing.¡± He caressed Sampson while it hissed at him, the stupid thing didn¡¯t like of no even his owner to hold it.The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement. Drauq¡¯ eyes shone as he recovered from the shock caused by the cat¡¯s long name, no even Royal Father has a name so long. ¡°We can make it young again with a Epic [Rejuvenation Potion], you only need to crush this Trash Core and go to one Legendary Dungeon.¡± Charles crushed the Trash Rank Dungeon Core and felt power surging in him as various windows popped in his vision. ¡°Tell me more of this potion. Why didn¡¯t you talk about it sooner? Let¡¯s immediately go to that Legendary Dungeon.¡± Charles smirked as a crazy idea formed in his mind, what¡¯s a better memento to the biggest tomb in the universe than a cat that doesn¡¯t age?
Leonhardt put his hand over his heart as he felt a sting on it as if he had lost something important for him, what could it be? *I¡¯ll kill you, just wait! How dare you-* The fox after being healed by [Time Revival] continued to curse at Leon through the Link made by [Taming] while he was absorbing his findings of the forest. ¡°Walk in two legs while imitating a cat with the cutest eyes you can make.¡± Leonhardt ordered. *Meow.* The black fox supporting itself on its hind legs looked at Leonhardt with big and widened red eyes as if searching for attention and affection. ¡°Good, go protect my Core hidden beneath those rocks.¡± Leon dismissed the fox as it growled at him while obediently walking to his Core. His [Taming] Skill is really diverting from the original purpose of the Skill that was to become friend with yours pets. A normal tamed animal wouldn¡¯t feel hatred at its master since they ¡®trusted¡¯ each other. His Skill is looking more like a¡ mind controlling Skill. He can order the fox do anything while it can¡¯t hurt him in any way possible. They were far away from the concept of friends. ¡°Well, who cares? The only pet friend I need is Sampson anyways.¡± Leon went back to his pile of fruits, mushrooms and twigs as he wrote in a corner of the cave his findings and how much of Mana they gave him. One of the things he discovered was that if he tried to absorb anything with his Mana full, he would receive DP instead. So he needs to discover what is more important for him now. Should Leon gather DP to buy the upgrade of [Monster Cores] he accidentally discovered when the fox began to curse at him, which make all his Dungeon Creatures be capable to leave the Dungeon to gather more resources for him? Or should he concentrate in making a lot of creatures with the Mana he has disponible right now since he didn¡¯t know when he could die for a Monster more stronger than the fox entering his Dungeon at any minute? Leonhardt looked at the prices and how much of Mana or DP he could instantly receive should he decide to absorb everything he had. [Upgrades] Current DP: 9 [Free Decorations to all rooms: 8 DP] [Monster Cores: 40 DP] [A new base Monster Race: 100 DP] [Permission to use traps: 3000 DP] [Intermediary Monster Race¡¯s list: 10000 DP] [...] [Conversion List] [Twigs X 48= 5.2 Mana or 2 DP] [...] [Acorns X 26= 40 Mana or 21 DP] [Apples X 12= 150 Mana or 36 DP] Putting all the information organized, Leonhardt perceived a serious problem in the absurd conversion rate of DP and Mana, this system suffers from a economic inflation worse than the economy of the capital. Twelve apples are worth one hundred and fifty base ants and the conversion to DP is not being consistent. If he thinks in the premise that the upgrades using DP serves to all the Dungeon even the Legendary ones, then this Dungeon system is completely broken! The Legendary Dungeons had an unfair vantage, they could create as much as creatures they want and with only apples they could give Monster Cores to their strong creations and then harvest the whole area around them to buy almost all the upgrades even before any Intruder arrives in the Dungeon. Thinking like this, he perceived he didn¡¯t have time to lose and will had to take risks to become powerful. ¡°And even if I create an army of ants or rats, will they even serve to something? With the time I will lose to tame all of them a powerful Monster will show up.¡± Leon began to absorb apples and twigs to receive DP enough to [Monster Cores], it isn¡¯t like he needed decorations or even cared about appearances. The people that saw ¡®his¡¯ paintings could thought he was someone obsessed with beauty, but he couldn¡¯t care less about the clothes he is wearing or about the place¡¯s appearance where he is living. He was a man without vanity. Leonhardt didn¡¯t know though that the Legendary Dungeons never had the chance to discover that absorbing anything beyond their Mana reserve¡¯s limit would give DP, since their reserves are infinite they can¡¯t won DP by this way. And their [Mana Regeneration] are so high leveled that the gains by absorbing outside objects are negligible. [Monster Cores: Bought] Current DP: 0.3 [A core formed inside or outside of the Monster''s bodies in relation to a Dungeon. This core permits to them leave the Dungeon without turning into loot while increasing the connection they feel towards the Dungeon Core to them not destroy it after being freed of the restriction of only living inside of the Dungeon.] Before Leonhardt could order the fox to gather resources as it could now once again normally go to the outside world, he found himself in an azure place as a portal engulfed him, that was using the Dungeon Core¡¯s body to buy the upgrade, and his Dungeon Master¡¯s body. [The Ex-Phantasmas demands your presence.] The room was akin to a open Throne Chamber with little shining stars as the background together with seats scattered all around while obeying a certain hierarchy of distance to a empty space in the middle of the room, Leonhardt perceived he was together with various Dungeon Cores and Masters and that he was all alone in the farthest seat. Changing back to his Dungeon Master¡¯s body to hold his floating small black jade Core, Leonhardt observed that after each row of seats the Mana he could felt from his Dungeons companions increased exponentially. And he also noted a pattern to it. After each row the Dungeon Cores became bigger, thicker, sturdier and with some even having liquids surrounding it. In comparison, his Core was so small, thin, brittle and his Mana wasn¡¯t spouting from his body either. No wonder he is on the last seat. ¡°Attention.¡± From the empty space in the middle, almost one hundred of Ex-Phantasmas appeared. The one at the front calling for attention had red skin complexion with three fingers in each hand with interdigital webbing while using a white mask that covered all his features, even the eyes and mouth. Strangely, the Ex-Phantasmas behind him weren¡¯t similar to him. They had different skin colors and normals five-fingered hands. Their ears were¡ weird though, they kind of not existed with a hole in each side of the head as if they were ears with jewelries hanging on them. ¡°Dungeon Cores and Dungeon Masters, listen us well. We think that we finally found the planet that will make our long lifetime wish become reality. This planet, D6C6S3, has the potential to be the key to we finally defeat those abominations full of wicked desires, the Invaders. We are making the preparations to this happen since this is the first planet of all we visited and saved from the Invaders that had a partial system of the Gift already installed on it, we are talking about the Skills.¡± Everyone on the room with exception of Leonhardt gave a gasp as if they heard the most absurd news in their whole lives. And that make Leon think he was back to his school days where he was always excluded out from the fun. What the Skills have of special anyways? Leonhardt lived his whole life surrounded by people with Skills and they just level up, and let you mind control the others¡ Putting on this way, they seem a little special. ¡°Because of it we will end yours grace period earlier, starting from tomorrow all the Dungeons will have beacons to show to the people their localization.¡± The Ex-Phantasma said and knowing he would heard complaints, all the sound in the room momentarily disappeared with a flourish of his sleeves. As he waited for the Dungeons Cores and Masters to finish ¡®talking¡¯, he noted a strange presence in the seats. Has he sent a Core-Master to D6C6S3? A Trash Rank moreover? Core-Masters are practically useless, they can¡¯t indefinitely leave the Dungeons like Dungeon Masters can and their thoughts processes are slower and less logical than of Dungeon Cores. Their own existence are a mistake and worth of pity, they came to existence when a Dungeon Core that got a body different from a gem ended up being affected by a Succubus¡¯s pheromones it created and then went into a raping spree, it even raped its own Dungeon Master even though their bodies were of the same sex. But this Core-Master was different from his comrades that hadn¡¯t hope for survival, his chestnut eyes looked cheerful, full of energy and with confidence even though the Soulkeeper¡¯s hand was over his head ready to pluck out his soul whenever he falters and commits a life threatening mistake. This planet is always full of surprises, the Ex-Phantasma thought as a small smile formed beneath his mask. ¡°Silence. Could be all of you forgot of the true meaning of yours own existences? You only exist to give Experience Points and People Points, which are the solidification of yours creations¡¯ souls, to the people. With those points they have a chance to survive against wandering Invaders and Monsters. And even if any of you get destroyed, you should be gratified by it. Because even in your death you were useful to the people.¡± He levited out of the way and said. ¡°Now go pick your Patron, only one Dungeon can be accepted by Patron.¡± As the water flowing down from a opened dam, all Leonhardt¡¯s companies flew or ran to the the almost one hundred Ex-Phantasmas without caring about dignity or pride. Knowing he already lost the race, Leonhardt calmly sauntered to middle of the room while holding his black jade core as his companions and the Patrons departed from the room as the limit for the choice was reached. In only five seconds, all the Patrons were chosen with the exception of one woman. She had a deep pink skin complexion with patches of blue skin, her long twintails pink hair looked more as part of her skin than of a proper hair. Her piercing glacial blue eyes had pupils in a pink tinged cross shape as if her eyes eyes were combination of eyes from a cat and goat. Which was a peculiarity considering how all her compatriots didn¡¯t have pupils, did she watch too much cartoons to consider having such pupils cool? Leon thought the thirty-two of his companions that didn¡¯t have the chance to choose a Patron would fight for her. But they immediately departed from the room as soon as they saw the woman, leaving Leonhardt all alone with the Patron looking pleadingly at him with tear filled eyes and the Ex-Phantasma that was the herald. ¡°Humm¡ Mister Ex-Phantasma? Can you explain to me what is happening? I am kind of new to being a Dungeon.¡± There should be a good reason to Leonhardt¡¯s companions not chose this Patron and he probably should just leave like them left, but Leon doesn¡¯t want to be just one of the sheep in the herd. He needs to have his own conclusion about this Patron. ¡°It is simple. I am new Patron and incredibly weak, between the decision of being the first follower of a weak Patron or not having a Patron at all. The latter is preferable.¡± The woman said before the floating Ex-Phantasma could talk. ¡°Why? Is being the first follower that bad?¡± ¡°My first follower is going to be my Champion or Chosen One if you prefer this title. And should I die, my Champion will die with me.¡± As soon she said that, she closed her eyes and sighed in defeat. She could lie to the young Core-Master and maybe deceive him in becoming her Champion, but she doesn¡¯t want to the relationship made with her Champion be so false. How many times was she rejected until now? Why she born so stubborn? Leonhardt almost left when the woman said that, but he looked at his situation where he could die at any minute thanks to a strong Monster or even to people of his planet starting from tomorrow. ¡°If becoming a Patron¡¯s Champion is so risked, how those others Patrons even gained a Champion? There must be an advantage. Tell me what it is.¡± His mother¡¯s words resounded in his head, there is always a reason to someone risk his/her life, and it is normally for power or a reward. Don¡¯t be deluded by the concept of altruism or self-sacrifice, those things only exists as words not as actions taken in the real world. The Patron¡¯s eyes shone as she opened them while a excited, almost manic, smile appeared on her face. ¡°The Champions receives the Patron¡¯s principal powers and a Rank Up based on their characteristics thanks to the Link they share.¡± She pointed to her cross shape eyes. ¡°My power is [Evolution] and should you become my Champion you would be capable of forcing the evolution of one of your creations.¡± Chapter 4: Names are Hard to Create ¡°Evolution¡ what kind of evolution are you talking about? Like the ones giraffes suffered or-¡± ¡°I am talking about all kinds of evolutions.¡± The Patron interrupted Leonhardt. ¡°Sorry, but when we got alone I went ahead of myself and saw your Dungeon. I know you don¡¯t have [Monsters¡¯ Loyalty] and that you will die tomorrow if you continue improving your Dungeon at this rate. Despite what I am saying, you are impressive though. I never saw a Dungeon with [Monster Cores] so quickly.¡± Leonhardt thought as he took a step back in surprise by the Patron¡¯s words, how she saw so much in such short time frame? If she is a weak Patron, how strong is a top-tier Patron?, ¡°I still don¡¯t get what kind of evolution we are talking about. Give me a conclusive example.¡± Leon ignored the threat of death she released at him, he already how easy is to someone kill him in his current state. ¡°With my power you can change the Monsters'' species, giving them new Skills and even [Titles]. Or you can just straight up enhance their [Attributes]. You can, for example, make a weak and small spider into a three-headed poisoning Monster that has the height of Giant together with the speed of a falcon chasing after its prey.¡± That power is perfect for me, as Leonhardt couldn¡¯t create many Monsters the best situation for him would be to create only a handful of elite Monsters. However, with his normal Dungeon¡¯s powers, there is no way to him do it thanks to his small Mana reserve. So his original plan after buying [Monster Cores] was to only create the most expensive animal consecutively and make a battle plan to survive tomorrow. But with the Patron¡¯s powers, he could transform his useless ants into formidable soldiers walking on two legs while using his ancestor¡¯s techniques. Leonhardt has total faith in his ancestors¡¯ teachings and would use his Mana to create ants to rival all the strong Monsters the Legendary Dungeons has access to. Although... ¡°Should be a limitation or restriction, right? As stronger something is, it has more tendencies of being limited on its uses.¡± Leon said. ¡°Yes, there is. The first limitation is that you can only do one evolution for a day and there is a limit of how much species you can evolve before your faith in me or I become stronger. The second is that you have to either choose between [Blue Evolution] and [Pink Evolution], which I will explain later, to a base species follow forever. And the last limitation is that the range and power of the evolutions depend on your Rank to work.¡± She stared intensely at Leonhardt as she took a step over a step to reach close to him. ¡°For you to ask so much, must mean you are interested. I know the risk is high, but I will do whatever I can to survive not for me, but for you. Do you want to become my Champion?¡± She extended her hand to him. Leonhardt had already risked his life by buying [Monster Cores] and bigger the risk is, the reward will be just as big. He hadn¡¯t a reason to recuse with exception of fear and how imprudent this decision would be in the eyes of his parents. They can only risk their lives for close friends or family, never to a stranger. ¡°Yes, I will become your Champion. My name is Leonhardt Udalth VI, I hope to have a long-standing relationship with you so that it doesn¡¯t end with my life.¡± He shook her hand. ¡°My name is Aeglisa, I am the Patron that governs over Evolution and Growth. From now on until your death or mine, you will be my only Champion. Prae-¡± She continued to talk in a strange idiom and smiled as blue and pink lights began to engulf both of them. ¡°You can call me Lisa.¡± She said with a grin before Leonhardt fell down on the ground. [New Title!] [Champion of a Patron] [Receiving the graces of a superior being that became a Patron with her own power, you can now partially use her powers, Blue Evolution and Pink Evolution, to bring honor to your Patron. Evolution is a never-ending process, it must strive for perfection but never reach it to make the evolution immortal. Go make people perceive how great evolution is and bring to the weak ones a chance to shine amidst the universe¡¯s unfairness. And never forgets of this day as the day you made a Link with a Superior Ex-Phantasma.] Leonhardt felt his stomach revolving as if it had life on its own and had left its original position to only torment him. On the ground, feebleness struck him and made him want to give up everything as he opened his mouth to give passage to something that doesn¡¯t exist. If his stomach had something in there, Leon would be already puking it with his heavy breathing. He saw his Core buzzing and slightly cracking, as he felt he was done for, power surged through him, refreshing and making him ready for anything that could come his way. Only to the feebleness strike him again and the cycle began once again. With the end of the twelfth cycle, his Core full of cracks broke with Mana surging from it and in a flash of light a new bigger and rougher Core appeared in a new form, a jet black onyx gem that was a glimmering unnatural dodecahedron. [Rank Up!] [You are now a Common Rank Dungeon Core.] [Potential sextupled. Mana and Essence¡¯s limits sextupled. You can now make another floor when you finish your first floor.] [New Dungeon Upgrades.] [New Dungeon Traits locked until evolution of the Class, Dungeon Master.] [You and your Monsters can now cultivate Qi together with Mana.] [You can now create two Named Monsters.] [You can now transform one Named Monster into a Boss Monster.] ¡°My head is hurting, too much information being flooded into it.¡± Leonhardt held his head in pain and before he knew it he was already back to his Dungeon with the horned fox looking at him for the first time in fear. ¡°You can be the first to buy [Monster Cores] but your Dungeon is really lacking in the appearance aspect. You need to decorate and put some plants on it.¡± Lisa said in a transparent form at Leon¡¯s front. ¡°I will do it later.¡± Leon stood up while picking his new Dungeon Core. ¡°Why didn¡¯t you tell me the process would be so nauseating?¡± ¡°You didn¡¯t ask.¡± ¡°Fair enough.¡± Leonhardt sighed and gave his new Core to the fox protect it where it was before he was summoned by the Ex-Phantasma. ¡°Why are your form-¡± ¡°Transparent?¡± Lisa completed Leon¡¯s words. ¡°It is because I am not physically here. I can be a weak Patron among my peers but for this world, I am kind of too powerful to descend here without consequences. The more powerful Invaders can take the chance to attack the planet.¡± She clapped her illusory hands. ¡°Anyways, I am here to explain to you how my powers work. In the [Blue Evolution] you can enhance an entire species¡¯ [Attributes] by making minor alterations and also reduce the pregnancy time to new species born quicker. But you won¡¯t get a say in what they evolve to. They will evolve to what matches their necessity at the moment. And in the [Pink Evolution] you will change the species and even Race of only one individual to whatever you want by tampering with its members and genetic code. Making you have a total control over the evolution but the chance to its offsprings mutate or even inherit all its characteristics will be almost null.¡± Leonhardt thought, so in the former, I can make impenetrable big ants and in the latter, I can make four-legged ants with ten arms that breathes fire and poison while crushing their enemies with spear techniques. ¡°Anything else I need to know?¡± ¡°No. However, you should for now concentrate on the [Pink Evolution] as it will give immediate results to help you survive tomorrow.¡± As Lisa¡¯s form dissipated she said. ¡°I have work to do now that I have a Champion, goodbye and good luck in your evolutions. I will check you later.¡± Leonhardt was alone, no... he had that fox now, so he isn¡¯t alone anymore. He checked what has changed thanks to his new Rank as he saw the cost to create everything got halved. This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work. Mana: 10/60 (+0.26/hour) Essence: 7/12 (+5/min) Qi: 0/36 (+0/year) For what Leon remembers, Qi serves more to reinforce the body of Martial Artists that don¡¯t have too much Mana and that you need to cultivate it by following a certain manual. When he was young, his parents made him memorize one of those manuals in hope to him stop being so physically weak, but he was never capable of doing what the manual told him to do. Later he will test how Qi really works since he and his creations automatically received it with his Rank Up. [Named Monster and Boss Monster] [They are Monsters with own names given by the Dungeon Master that permits them to receives Titles and Classes. Should any of them met their demise, their soul will go the Dungeon¡¯s storage where the Dungeon Core can decide to give them a new body, revive or extinguish their souls to it choose another Monster to be named. The differences between them are only of power and rarity as a Dungeon can only have a Boss Monster for every ten floors.] ¡°Fox, come here.¡± The fox could hate Leonhardt but there is no denying it is currently his strongest asset. What name should I give to it? Names are important things and are imbued of power. For example, no nobody perceives when he tells his name have ¡®VI¡¯ and his parents also don¡¯t perceive their names have an ¡®F.¡¯, meaning false when they tell to someone their name. This is the power of the name Udalth. Leonhardt looked at the fox¡¯s black fur and noted the hatred growing inside of it mixed with a primal fear it feels from him after he Ranked Up thanks to their Link granted by the [Taming] Skill. Leon had the perfect name for it, but he wanted to address the matter of fear first. He couldn¡¯t care less about it hating him, but as just as fear is sometimes a useful tool in a fight, it is not useful when your ally feels it from you. ¡°Fox, what do you feel so much fear? Tell me, it is an order.¡± It growled. *I have fear of your progress, stupid Dungeon. In only some minutes the power I feel from you thanks to my horn has more than doubled. At this rate, it won¡¯t be long before I am not necessary anymore and then discarded. You will forsake me just like the one that created me did to set me as a spawn on a random planet that receives the Gift. Just as I hate you for binding me against my wishes, I am thankful to you for not killing me and giving the chance to slaughter any enemies at my sight when this Dungeon will get discovered. The only pleasure I have in this paltry life is killing the others and should I even lose it, living would lose the meaning. Those are my fears.* Because of Leonhardt¡¯s bad phrasing in his question, he ended up hearing more than he needed. He discovered the fox was more intelligent he thought it was and had a good grasp of its own position. The fox to Leon is just like a pawn he can sacrifice in a chess game. But the pawn in certain circumstances can be promoted to an invaluable knight, his favorite piece that he prefers to lose the game than to lose it to his adversary. ¡°There might be a day when I won¡¯t need you anymore to fight against my principal enemies, but I can promise you this. I won¡¯t abandon you, you almost took my leg and arm off. I will be certain to make you work until your death in this Dungeon.¡± *... Is to me feel happy about this? You are just making me hate you even more, I know you are planning to make me do the dirty work and gather resources like you were doing before I attacked you.* ¡°Good that you know, it is make easy to me when my creations can think for themselves while not in any situation attacking me. This mind control- I mean, this [Taming] Skill is really useful, although not perfect as [Monsters Loyalty].¡± *... I really hate you.* Leonhardt ignored the fox words and said. ¡°Do you want a name? I will make you a Boss Monster, but I need to give you a name first.¡± *Whatever, just go with it.* The fox said disinterestedly while yawning, already forgetting its fears with Leon¡¯s promise. ¡°Your name from now on will be Dhasharan. I expect great things from you.¡± Leon said, confirming a window asking if he was sure about naming the fox. Dhasharan¡¯s fur grew and it got bigger with its teeth and claws looking sharper and menacing, its height almost reaching of a bear. Leon looked at the new status of Dhasha. [Name]: Dhasharan [Race]: Horned Black Fox [Age]: 0 [Sex]: N/A [Welfare]: Healthy [Rank]: D [Title]: None [Master]: Leonhardt Udalth VI [Class]: None [Qi]: 0/10 (+0/year) [Mana]: 45/45 (+5/hour) ¡°Your Rank got up,¡± Leon said, impressed by seeing Dhasha¡¯s previous Rank of E going to D because of him giving it a name. How much powerful would it get if he made it a Boss Monster without even evolving it? As soon he thought about it, a warning appeared at his front. [Obs: The creation of a Boss Monster makes the Monster unavailable for some hours as it adapts to its new existence as a Boss. Do you still wish to continue?] ¡°No, I need to it to go outside gather resources for me.¡± Dhasharan sighed. *Can I at least eat some animals on the way? Being a Dungeon Creature makes me like you, not needing to sleep or eat. But-* ¡°Permission denied. I want everything for me.¡± *... Fine. You have luck I can¡¯t attack you.* Dhasharan went outside of the Dungeon without a problem thanks to the small Monster Core inside of it and gathered resources for Leon even before he properly asked Dhasha to do it. Before going to test the [Pink Evolution] on one his creations that wasn¡¯t Dhasha since he didn¡¯t want to focus too much power in only one point, Leonhardt needed to take care of a problem in his Dungeon. And that wasn¡¯t the poor decoration made of earthy yellow walls and haphazardly placed rocks, stalactites and stalagmites. It was the size of his Dungeon. The cave was still very deep and not claimed yet. So as Leonhardt¡¯s leftover Mana permitted, he began to expand the influence of his Dungeon to cover completely the ten-meter area around the entrance and then go in five by five meters claiming all the cave behind the place where he became a Core-Master. Unfortunately, as he was absorbing some acorns he had for Mana, he reached the limit of what the Gift permitted him to expand. He ended after nine ¡®claims¡¯ just before the area where he would find the animals living inside of the cave, like bats or critters, with twelve rooms of five by five meters as his first floor of the Dungeon. ¡°Now, in what should I test [Pink Evolution]?¡± Leonhardt said in his Dungeon Core¡¯s body with an imaginary grin comparable to a mad scientist''s one. Lisa¡¯s excitement about evolution seemed to contaminate him like a plague or curse specially made by his new Patron.
Aleria swirled the clear wine worthing half of all the assets in a big metropolis and then drank it all in only one gulp in a way that any wine connoisseur would commit suicide by the waste of such fine wine in the hands of the most savage woman in the country named Jotand. For luck, her husband could make her son¡¯s money multiply by doing some weird and complicated stuff she didn¡¯t understand or care about. So it wasn¡¯t a real waste of money to give her an expensive wine to drown her sorrows. ¡°LEO!¡± She screamed her son¡¯s name as she cried like a little baby. ¡°How could you die virgin without giving me a cute grandson? This is so unfair, I want a grandson. I want. I want. I want one!¡± The drunk woman with tears flowing down her beautiful cheeks lost all the decorum and while screaming the same words over and over again she began to smash everything in her room colored with her son¡¯s favorite color, silvery white. Aleria Udalth F. could be the wife of the man that after the Invader¡¯s attack became Jotand¡¯s first Prime Minister as a condition to save the country¡¯s economy since the Crown Prince is a little young and doesn¡¯t have any real powers or influence with the majority of the nobles dead. She also could be considered as one of the most beautiful people in the world with her silky long raven black hair and mesmerizing amber eyes that looked to be carved by a crafting god. And with a form so fit and perfect in her black vest. But now without her son or future grandson, Aleria didn¡¯t have any fragment of honor or pride coming from being in a high social position, and the beauty she normally exuded by just existing got lost as all her makeup got messed and she went on an eating spree. Aleria was now only an ugly grieving drunk mother that have personality problems which will cause the death of many should they get on her nerve. Her nickname, Psycho Savage, wasn¡¯t for nothing. Making what was going to happen right now quite normal in her daily life. ¡°Madam Aleria, sorry for interrupting you. But I have an offer-¡± A fleeing nobleman entered her unlocked room without asking for permission and even dared to entice her with some offer coming from his ugly and fat mouth. Aleria whispered her Class¡¯ name, ¡°[Antagonist]¡±, and the sound wave caused by a snap of her fingers made the pig-like man swell and then explode amidst a yell of pain and despair, painting her and her room in his filthy scarlet blood and organs. ¡°He just like that went ¡®boom¡¯!¡± Aleria began to laugh in her drunk state and roll on the ground like a child that saw snow for the first time and made an angel on it by synchronously moving her arms and legs. When she got tired of playing in the blood and organs, she heard a knock in the door and considered just outrightly killing the person behind it. But Aleria remembered her son¡¯s precious slaves were also here in the mansion and should her kill one of them, she wouldn¡¯t be capable of forgiving herself for the rest of her life. Not one touches this mansion¡¯s slaves that went back to being slaves by their own wishes after Leonhardt set them free, no even her. ¡°Come in, it is open,¡± Aleria said, not caring to wipe herself as she doubted any slave didn¡¯t know of her habits or hobbies. ¡°Good night, Mistress Aleria.¡± The dark-skinned elf slave no even batted an eye to her display and formally bowed to her. ¡°Master Charles sent me to ask if you have anything against using Master Leonhardt¡¯s money to create cities near the useful Dungeons that will be localized tomorrow and also create an organization to administer the Dungeon Dives in each of the cities based on the Ranks of the Dungeons and of the people needed to reach their last rooms.¡± ¡°No, I don¡¯t care. What is going to be the name of the organization?¡± ¡°The name suggested by the Ex-Phantasmas is Adventurer Guild.¡± Chapter 5: The Best Way to Start a Friendship is with a Blow to the Stomach When the moon was high up in the sky, Leonhardt made Dhasha stop gathering resources to began its transformation into a Boss Monster. [Please choose what kind of bonus you want to give to your Boss Monster.] [Elemental Affinity], [Race Change: Two-Horned Demon Fox] or [Size: Gigant]. Leonhardt immediately discarded the race change option as he wanted to ¡®play¡¯ with the evolution potential of a base horned fox. He couldn¡¯t also choose the size because that would make the fox too big to movement itself with the roof having only five meters of height. Thus leaving only one option. ¡°I choose [Elemental Affinity].¡± [What type?] Leonhardt first thought was to choose water or earth because of the damp cave, but considering there is more chance to a normal Human come to his Dungeon, he paused to think about the element that would give more advantage to him fight against. Normal Humans beings don¡¯t have the strength to shatter mountains with only their fists, so they use weapons and magic apparatus to fight. And what the majority of the weapons are made of? Metal. And what element can cause the most damage to someone using something made of metal? ¡°I choose [Lightning] as the element for Dhasharan.¡± As Leonhardt said that, Dhasha got automatically transported to the last room of the Dungeon and he in his Dungeon Core¡¯s body saw its transformation. Dhasha¡¯s size didn¡¯t change but the pressure emanating from it could make any newbie to fighting piss himself/herself by seeing the overbearing Mana flowing from it in the form of small streaks of electricity. And the other only visible change was how the fur and tail from it changed to have marks of azure lightning all over them. As Dhasharan closed its eyes and went to sleep to get used to its new powers, Leonhardt saw the descriptions of what changed in Dhasharan. [New Title!] [Touched by Lightning] [Your affinity and resistance to electricity are raised beyond the limits acceptable to a living being. Each attack of you will contain a little of the azure lightning¡¯s might that falls downs from the heavens.] [New Class!] [Novice Lightning Berserker Lvl 1 0%] [Quick, brutal and death-bringer. Those are the characteristics of lightning and of a berserker. You receive the normal bonuses of a berserker, such as becoming more powerful as you get hurt or hate more your enemy, and the bonuses of a lightning mage that makes you have total control of lightning.] [New Skills¡] [Rank Up! Your Rank is now C.] ¡°Even the Rank got up, Dhasharan now is stronger than normal soldiers. What Rank would it go if I used Pink Evolution-¡± [Your Rank is too low to use your Patron¡¯s powers in monsters above Rank D.] ¡°And the killjoy attacked once again. Gift, you could at least wait until I finish talking before ruining my plans.¡± Leon sighed and went back to what he was doing before Dhasharan came back with the last resources of the night. Not forgetting of first putting his Core behind and beneath Dhasharan¡¯s fur as it was currently the safest place in the Dungeon. Leonhardt was modifying an ant using the [Pink Evolution] to make it his warrior at the frontline protecting him. Leonhardt thought about evolving some monsters he has available with his new Mana, like green-skinned goblins or lizard kobolds for example. But the price to do the first trial was beyond his current Mana reserve¡¯s limit. The price of each tentative of evolving the species know as ant was ten times its new price, but it was affordable in contrast to the 100 Mana to evolve a goblin. Leonhardt passed hours failing and wasting Mana as each time he did something to its brain or members'' position the ant immediately died, when I go evolve Dhasha I must take care to not tamper with its brain, despite his constant failings now at almost midnight he is close to having his first success by learning from his failings. Leon had changed its members¡¯ position to the ant walk upright with four legs on the ground to give more stability and speed, and increased the muscles tissues the ant had through all its body. And as he knew ants could carry more than ten times their weights because their muscles¡¯ cross-sectional area was bigger and thicker, Leonhardt made sure to them continues this way through all the evolution. He then increased its size to of a dwarf as it was the limit before it dies by not having that yellow blood flowing enough through its body, standing at an impressive one meter and forty centimeters. Leon satisfied with his work, just slightly increase its brain and its wings as this ant, in particular, was a fertile male ant. ¡°It is finished¡ no, it isn¡¯t.¡± Leonhardt shook his head, chiding himself by forgetting of changing the characteristics of the ant¡¯s exoskeleton, if it was still the same exoskeleton the normal steel weapons could pierce it. Leonhardt wished for them to be similar to the hardness of a alloy name Inconel as he didn¡¯t know if the mythic metals like adamantium existed. The Patron¡¯s power seemed alive as it didn¡¯t like much Leonhardt was wishing for something he doesn¡¯t know all its characteristics, but because of the tenacity and his basic knowledge about life that he demonstrated the Patron¡¯s power took a like for Leon and also perceived nobody is perfect like its original master. So it finished the job by itself. Using one hundred and sixty Mana points and four Essence points to make a powerful soul in the total, Leonhardt¡¯s new ¡®base¡¯ ant was finished. [Updating ant¡¯s Race available to you¡] [You can¡¯t create ants anymore.] [You can only create now the evolution of the ants, the Race named Pharaoh¡¯s Inconel Antkin. Cost: 18 Mana and 2 Essence.] That is the problem and advantage of the [Pink Evolution], as the Race is changed Leonhardt loses the previous Race while at the same time not having to every time evolve the base ant. Different from the [Blue Evolution] that permits him to see all the evolutions paths the base Races have thanks to reduced pregnancy time and forever accessibility to the base Race. [Level up! You are now a Dungeon Master Lvl 9 99%. To Level Up through the first Level ¡®Wall¡¯, you need to kill three Intruders.] [Experience before the Wall will be accumulated and used when you Level Up your Class.] ¡°Interesting, this Level Wall must exist to separate the weak to the strong ones,¡± Leon said running away with his Dungeon Master¡¯s body as he wanted to take a good look to his new ant. The problem is that he forgot he had to tame it before it would obey him! The Antkin jumped and flapping its wings it got ahead of Leonhardt, it glared at him with its compound eyes. The Monster Core on it just make sure the ant won¡¯t attack the Dungeon Core or flee from the Dungeon, in nowhere the upgrade does say the Monster won¡¯t attack the Dungeon Master without [Monsters Loyalty]. ¡°Listen to me, I gave you a brain big enough to understand me. We are allies. Should you attack me now, it will only-¡± Leon tried to reason with it, but the Antkin didn¡¯t like of Leon being bigger than it.Support the creativity of authors by visiting the original site for this novel and more. The Inconel Antkin considered him an enemy to the Dungeon, no, an enemy to its own self-esteem and chance to get laid. How would the future queen of its Race choose this first Pharaoh¡¯s Inconel Antkin if there was a being taller than it in the Dungeon? Antkins seems to be sometimes really jealous and envious of living beings taller than them. The Inconel Antkin gripped tight its hands given by Leonhard and punched him in the stomach. Leonhardt went to the ground while clutching his stomach, at least it is strong and my efforts weren¡¯t-, the Antkin began to non-stopping stomp Leon with its four legs. ¡°[Possession]!¡± Bright lines of light went to bind the Antkin, but it easily shrugged them off as it wasn''t in the mood to be controlled or even stunned while being gravely wounded to the Skill work. It took some rounds of healing granted by [Time Revival] to Leonhardt remember he could change his body whenever he wants. Being spanked or excited by something working after many failures makes the people forget the most simple things. In his Dungeon Core¡¯s body beneath the warm fur of Dhasharan, Leon said with grudge perceptible in his voice while observing the Antkin ¡®playing¡¯ with his Dungeon Master¡¯s body that was constantly being healed without a soul. ¡°You are another one that will become a [Named Monster] instead of my original plan of making the queen my last [Named Monster], I will make you work for me forever.¡± Leon looked to his Mana after he absorbed everything Dhasharan brought to him as he waited for his Boss Monster to wake for him have a chance to tame the Antkin. Mana: 48/60 (+2,08/hour) Until the sunrise he should have Mana enough to create more three Antkins, so he decided to take this free time to study that manual about Qi he has in his mind and see what he can learn from it to teach his creations. Leon recited. ¡°The Qi stems from a focal point of the user¡¯s body, the first step to train Qi is to find this by meditation and then began to naturally absorb more from the energy coming from the planet until you can do it unconsciously. Only after it, the user can do wondrous and supernatural acts impossible to normal living beings. To meditate you need¡¡± As Leonhardt said the principles of the manual he entered into trance, instinctively finding the focal point in the Core and also in the Dungeon Master¡¯s body that is being spanked. He felt as if being embraced by a higher energy that almost reached the quality of Essence but failed in a primal aspect. [+1 Qi] Qi: 01/36 (+0/year) Using the clock in the Gift and the amount of Mana he had, Leon noted four hours had passed since the midnight while he was gone into that strange state and also that Dhasharan was gone. Changing his point of view, he localized Dhasharan together with the Antkin attacking his body without a soul while the fox was shouting. *Haha! This is so fun, take it! You good-for-nothing Dungeon! I hate you! Die! Die! Best day of my life.* Dhasha laughed as it rained down lightning on the Dungeon Master¡¯s body and also torn off some limbs to take off its stress. ¡°...¡± *Tch! You woke up.* Dhasha stopped its attacks and of the Antkin as the fox had established total dominance over the ant with a little of ¡®sparring¡¯ between them while Leon was in trance. ¡°You guys were doing it for the last four hours?¡± Leonhardt said unbelieving, no, in awe of the amount of hatred and jealousy contained in the bodies of his Monsters, I will for certain die at the moment any of them become free of my Dungeon. If Leon was even a little unsure of using his slot of [Named Monster] in the first Inconel Antkin instead of the Race¡¯s queen. He now is sure he needs to name that ant and make it work until it can¡¯t endure more. *Are you crazy? Of course not. My new comrade only did it for two hours and me only for two hours and a half. You don¡¯t deserve so much attention from us.* It said with an impossibly human sneer. ¡°... Just hit and stun the Antkin. I need to tame it.¡± Leonhardt said, giving up on arguing with the haughty fox. *There is no necessity, the Taming thing you have together with that nauseous lines of light are only needed when the Monster doesn¡¯t want by its own wishes to be ordered by you, right?* ¡°How do you know?¡± *I just put the pieces together while I was resting from hurting your body.* Leon was happy for Dhasharan being more intelligent than it seems but he really could live without the snarky comments. ¡°So you talked to the Antkin to accept as me as its master?¡± *Yes, I already knew you would order me to do something like that and decided, ¡®if I am going to be anyways ordered without a free will, then I could at least do it already at my own way¡¯. I had a ¡®good talk¡¯ with the Antkin and I have cleared up the misunderstandings happening between you two after some rounds of that mysterious energy that heals everyone, of course.* ¡°You just wanted to fight, didn¡¯t you? I can feel it through our Link that you are lying. It was just a coincidence you did your job without being ordered by me.¡± Leon changed back to his Dungeon Master¡¯s body that still had its robe thanks to [Time Revival] making his clothes go back in time before he got attacked. *I won¡¯t deny or confirm your accusation.* ¡°Whatever.¡± Leonhardt turned to the Antkin that was bowing before him ready to accept to be tamed without needing to him possess it. ¡°I don¡¯t know what to feel when you become so obedient. You are the first one I will tame without tricks. [Taming].¡± [Level Up! Taming is now Lvl 7. You can now instantly tame any Pharaoh¡¯s Inconel Antkin or ant weaker than your tamed Pharaoh¡¯s Inconel Antkin if you have at least of one of the requirements about the target. Trust or knowledge.] *My Lord, I beseech for forgiveness for defiling thy Holy Body. I didn¡¯t know thee are the higher being that will create the Queen of my Race. I thought thou were an opponent to me defeat to receive the grace of my queen. And I just continued to attack thy body because the big fox, Dhasharan, said me to do it.* The Antkin said with tone surprisingly formal and educated, with how muscular and brute the Antkin was, Leon thought his newest creation would be just another hot-blooded stupid being. Albeit it is not using ¡®thou¡¯ or ¡®thee¡¯ correctly. But the Antkin really need to choose better its words as Dhasharan began to snicker at the side of Leonhardt. ¡°I forgive you, however, don¡¯t use the word ¡®defilling¡¯ anymore. It will give the others a bad impression of what do you did. You hit me not ¡®defilled¡¯ me, okay?¡± *I thought thee-* ¡°And stop with the formal language when talking with me if you don¡¯t know how to properly use ¡®thee¡¯ and ¡®thou¡¯. It is annoying me.¡± Leon rubbed his temples. ¡°I will give you a name. Do you accept it?¡± *Nothing would make me happier¡ actually breeding would-* ¡°Your name from now on is Kleber,¡± Leon said, confirming a window while sighing, fucking perverted ant. Kleber¡¯s Inconel exoskeleton grew to cover more his hands and legs as if it was another layer of an armor, increasing the thickness of his members. And another set of mandibles and wings appeared on him. [Name]: Kleber [Race]: Pharaoh¡¯s Inconel Antkin [Age]: 0 [Sex]: Male [Welfare]: Healthy Rank: D [Title]: None [Master]: Leonhardt Udalth VI [Class]: None [Qi]: 0/20 (+0/year) [Mana]: 15/15 (+2/hour) Kleber¡¯s Rank just like of Dhasharan got up with the naming process, conforming to Leonhardt that it will probably always happen when he name something of the Dungeon. That is the reason to have so little slots to Named Monsters. Leonhardt created two more Pharaoh¡¯s Inconel Antkins while taking care to them be normal ant workers with Rank E and light yellow coloration to them not die at the jealous hands of Kleber. As he tamed them, he made all his tamed Monsters line up at his front. ¡°Today is the day we will be attacked. To prepare for it I would love to have access to traps, but I am forbidden to buy or make by myself one. I will now explain to you guys what is my plan to we survive.¡± Even Dhasharan that hated Leonhardt, stayed quiet to listen as it doesn¡¯t want to die. ¡°The Antkins will do a surprise attack from some rocks I will make as a cover to their bodies after the people entering get distracted by a bait I will put on the Dungeon.¡± Leon turned to Dhasharan. ¡°You will stealthily flank the enemies and kill in only one hit the person that seems to be the weakest to give a blow to the enemies¡¯ confidence and will. I would love to make a complicated plan, but for you guys the simpler the plan is the better it is. Anyone against or able to spot a flaw in my plan?¡± *No.* His tamed monsters said. ¡°Good, until the Intruders arrive I will teach you, Antkins, how to better fight using your hands since we don¡¯t have weapons. Dhasha, I want to you observe our training to spot the patterns a human uses to attack and also to get used to the Antkins'' ways of fighting while at the same time using your horn to warn us in advance when the Intruders are close to the Dungeon. Can I trust you with this? This is a matter of life or death for us.¡± Dhasha grudgingly accepted with a growl, it was in a good humor after killing over and over Leonhardt¡¯s body and laughing from the conversationLeon had with the Antkin. After two hours of teaching the Antkins the [Art of the Empty Hand Combat] taught in the military academy and receiving the Skill, Leon created another Antkin and left his Antkins to teach the new one, and train by themselves as he went to the Dungeon¡¯s entrance. *Where are you going?* Dhasha asked. ¡°Pick our bait and also some acorns in the way,¡± Leonhardt said with a grin as a grand white beam of light that extended even beyond the clouds appeared just outside of the Dungeon. Today is going to be a long day. Chapter 6: Squirrels arent Cute and Dont Let Anyone Tell You Otherwise ¡°We are going to the sixth and last Dungeon in our scope area, don¡¯t get overconfident because of the others Dungeons and stay in the formation.¡± Tuan, the only dark-skinned elf in the adventurer group, said, to only be ignored by the vast majority of arrogant humans that got cocky after successive triumphs on the quick Dungeon Dives of the first day the Dungeons were localized with beacons. Tuan shrugged seeing their attitudes, deciding to give up on them should they met the Soulkeeper today. At least he was already paid and as the leader of the group, he was the one to kill all the Dungeon Masters they meet with exception of one of an Uncommon Dungeon that was determined to be the new city¡¯ source of income on this region in the border of his home country. His PP, People Points, reached a whopping five hundred and sixty points thanks to killing the Dungeon Masters. The only way to him die today would be to a Rank B Monster to appear, which wouldn¡¯t occur since if this area was so dangerous he, a Rank C, wouldn''t be the one to be sent as a nanny for these greenhorns. Unfortunately, he couldn¡¯t crush the Dungeon Cores as they were to be sent to the Adventurer Guild as rewards for someone reaching the Rank A or for some impossible mission nobody wants to do because of the risks. Thinking about the Dungeon Cores made him look to his bag to see if all four of them were still there. ¡°One, two, three¡?¡± Tuan tilted his not-so-handsome head, did he count wrong? When he was going to count once again, the scout lass shouted to him. ¡°Leader Tuan, we have arrived at the last Dungeon.¡± Nitclod, the scout, said. ¡°Should we rest a little before entering?¡± ¡°Yes,¡± Tuan answered and made the newbies rest outside of the cave that has the beacon. He was glad that lass had a good head on her shoulders and always obeyed him. Different from the other seven greenhorns. Tuan picked the odd rectangular white tablet the Ex-Phantasmas gave him to constantly report his progress to his superiors on the Adventures Guild in the new provisory capital where the Prime Minister lives. He will never cease to be amazed by the wondrous powers the Ex-Phantasmas had. They gave him an object that could contact with anyone that also had the same tablet and even made that strange warping gate that transported him and the others eight greenhorns to this location close to the border more than two million kilometers away from the provisory capital. Both of those things will make ¡®miracles¡¯ on a war. As gathering information and mobility are one most important things in any fight. The world could have passed through the tragedy known as Aldar Rof, with the closest translation of the Humans¡¯ confusion language being ¡®the Destruction of the current Age¡¯, which was the arrival of the Invaders and death of all ¡®current¡¯ rulers of the world¡¯s countries. But Tuan couldn¡¯t let his himself stand still and grieve or cry like the others commoners, he needs to adapt to this new era that haves beings from other worlds coming to mess with his world. The proof of this was how it only took eight tries to him make the tablet work and do his report, a new record that made him puff up his chest and set his sights on a higher ground, a milestone that would be marked forever in his life. Make the tablet work in only five tries. ¡ Better set to six tries. Tuan thought while his grey hair blew in the afternoon¡¯s refreshing wind. The wind gently tickled off his pointed ears. What a good- ¡°Leader, could you stop grinning at the air? It is scaring me. I am worried about your sanity.¡± Nitclod said, turning her head full of blue hair to the sides to not watch the shameful behavior of Tuan. Tuan coughed in embarrassment and tidied his full plate iron armor before shouting as he saw the sun approaching the ground to mark the time as the sunset. ¡°The rest is over. Let¡¯s go. Nitclod, go scout the Dungeon.¡± ¡°Aye aye, sir,¡± Nitclod said jokingly as she saw his embarrassment. Entering in the formation as the frontline, Tuan turned back and perceived how the only two magicians of the group were just flirting with each other instead of doing their job of lighting the way. What Tuan wouldn¡¯t do to finish his job quickly and go back to his house to drink, those greenhorns were too arrogant just because they were noble¡¯s sons and daughters. The only comfort on his mind was that should any of them die without PP left, on his contract is explicitly saying the Prime Minister would protect him from their parents¡¯ anger. It isn¡¯t his fault that they never do their job properly like he asks them to. As their group entered the Dungeon and Nitclod went to scout, Tuan felt everything was out of the place in this Dungeon, it is too normal. The Dungeon until now was only a normal cave with only the size of the entrance and the presence of stalagmites and stalactites as something special in this god-forsaken Dungeon. Tuan couldn¡¯t hear even critters, everything was too silent and without life. Even the others Common Dungeons they went had some basic ecosystem and adornments. Everything was odd, as if- ¡°AHH!¡± An adstringent scream sounded from Nitclod¡¯s position at the front where she is scouting.Love what you''re reading? Discover and support the author on the platform they originally published on. Tuan worried about the safety of the only not arrogant member, rushed at her side while the others useless greenhorns struggled to keep with his pace. ¡°Lass, are you-¡± ¡°Leader. Look. Isn¡¯t it the cutest thing you already saw in your life?¡± Nitclod said with widened and shining green eyes, showing to Tuan an orange colored squirrel with nuts filling its mouth to the brim. ¡°Can I keep it for me? There is no way such fluffy squirrel is a Monster from the Dungeon. It must have reached here for a mistake while searching for nuts.¡± The newbies began to laugh and joke with Nitclod. ¡°Come on, Nitclod. Someone like you would be able to take care of a wild animal?¡± ¡°We worried about you for nothing.¡± ¡°But it is just so Nitclod to do these silly things.¡± Tuan sighed, these children- Suddenly Tuan¡¯s honed instincts and experience gave a straight kick to his face to destroy his laidback reaction to seeing a squirrel in a Dungeon, a place where Monsters were supposed to exist and attack you from the shadows¡ Fear began to crawls over Tuan¡¯s skin as he perceived the truth, the tranquility and sense of nothingness on the Dungeon together with a harmless squirrel. Everything just points to two things, this Dungeon know about the concept of strategy and that this situation is, ¡°a trap! Run-¡± Tuan¡¯s shout was too late as he saw with his own green forest eyes, an ebony armored hand come under the earth where Nitclod was and smash Nitclod¡¯s head on the ground. As everyone was distracted by the squirrel and principally because of the flat sound of Nitclod¡¯s brain exploding and becoming motes of light as she had eighty PP, three oversized Monsters similar to ants with their strange four legs on the section between their abdomen and thorax came from under the earth too and advanced on the direction of the newbies at the sides of the formation. Regrettably, these three newbies being attacked didn¡¯t have even ten PP and it was shown when the ant monsters tried to mimic the ebony armored hand and crushed the brains of the newbies, and this time scarlet blood and grey matter flowed from their hands as the bodies without heads dropped dead on the ground without becoming motes of light. Four people died in only two seconds and only one of them had PP enough left to be revived at the spawn point set by the Ex-Phantasmas, and that thought woke up Tuan from his stupor. ¡°IN FORMATION! If you don¡¯t want to die, stay behind me!¡± He shouted with Qi present in his voice as he prepared his shield and sword to fight the three Monsters that retreated after succeeding in their attacks from fear of Tuan¡¯s shout filled with Qi. With a sudden motion, the owner of the ebony armored hand appeared and glared to Tuan with its companions standing behind it as if the buffy different colored ant was their boss. Tuan closed his eyes and opened them to relax and be filled with determination to defeat the enemy at his front, that one must the [Named Monster] of the Dungeon, it is fine. The newbies can be still cowering in fear but we still have the numeric advantage. If we stay calm, there is no way we will lose to these mindless monsters. Or at least that was what Tuan thought before seeing the Monsters Ants one by one raise their hands and went into the stance taught on the Royal Military Academy to fight against armed opponents. Legs slightly bent, hands opened at the side of the head, and weight put forwards to get instant acceleration to kill the enemies before they even raise the weapons. That was the stance Tuan¡¯s noble friend always used to defeat him. ¡°Impossible, how they-¡± Tuan took a step back only to make a male newbie behind him that pissed himself tumble to his own piss. ¡°R-Rank C!¡± Tuan said as he saw a pitch black big fox that looked like more as a bear tearing off the neck of the female sorceress and she not becoming motes of lights, since she had at least two hundred PP. The attack of the fox touched by crackling azure lightning wasn¡¯t over as it howled and from its body, a torrent of electricity as if it was a beam of light attacked the other male magician that was with a stupid smile and in tears seeing his lover dying. Burning his body and frying his brain. From the initial nine people that entered the Dungeon only three were still alive. ¡°It has a [Class]. Retreat!¡± Tuan screamed before having his weapons throw to the sides by the ebony armored ant that took the chance he was looking to the fox to do exactly what its stance was best for. By hitting the wrist of his right arm and taking using pure force his shield that was strapped to his arm. This isn¡¯t the normal strength of a normal Rank D monster, Tuan thought as the ant used two of its thicks legs to kick him at his stomach, making him puke over the ant¡¯s legs despite the full plate iron armor protecting him. Everything went black to Tuan as he saw the other two newbies dying by the black fox and him soon following after them. [You lost 500 PP.] [You have 60 PP left.] [Reviving you¡] Tuan stood up without his weapons at the spawn point provided by the Ex-Phantasmas in a place outside of his home planet and before he could talk, he was transported to the place where all the Adventures had being forced to choose as a relay point, the Adventurer Guild. ¡°...Leader, it is just you?¡± Nitclod on her ranger¡¯s uniform asked him when he appeared the at transportation platform. ¡°Yeah¡ the rest died to the Monsters.¡± Tuan patted Nitclod¡¯s head and picked his bag where he had put the Dungeon Cores. ¡°At least we still have those, let¡¯s go talk with guild master. We need to deliver those four Cores¡?¡± Tuan¡¯s voice faltered as he opened the bag and took all the contents from it, finding three Common Dungeon Cores with forms of pyramids. ¡°Huh? Where is the Uncommon Dungeon Core?!¡±
Leonhardt looked to all his notifications while looting the bodies of the people that entered his Dungeon, since if he just absorbs everything he will lose the precious weapons and other miscellaneous objects, and he doesn¡¯t trust any of Monsters to be careful enough to not break something. [Intruders detected!] [You earn 290 DP in total for the invasion.] [Disabling...] And there were the notifications he earned when the intruders died. [Level Up! You are now an Initiate Dungeon Master Level 14 42%] [Potential tripled. Mana and Essence¡¯s limits tripled.] [You reached the max level of Mana Regeneration Lvl 13 and Essence Regeneration Lvl 13 permitted to your Rank.] [Common Dungeon Traits Unlocked.] [You gain another slot for Named Monsters.] As Leonhardt was searching through the clothes of the sorceress that died by Dhasharan, he found something he thought he wouldn¡¯t see sooner than another Dungeon meeting. ¡°Why did this woman have a Dungeon Core?¡± Leon said holding an emerald Dungeon Core in the form of a cube. Chapter 7: Looting is a Sacred Ritual with Death Penality if Interrupted When the group of nine people entered the Dungeon, Leonhardt really got worried because to contrary to his common military sense that everyone would be together, the group split on two. Making a woman go to the front and putting his distracting plan at great risk. It wasn¡¯t like he didn¡¯t know that there was a chance to someone go at the front to scout, but to him, that would be a choice so foolish that he no even considered someone would be stupid enough to send a lone person in a unknown territory with a great chance of death. These tactics have their merit in certain and specific situations. And this was regrettably one of them. Thanks to PP, the chances of dying from surprise attacks got so low that the people decided to give a good amount of PP to only one person and make this person go scout the dangers at their front. This was a line of thought outside of Leonhardt¡¯s knowledge and he decided to crave it on his brain to him utilize it on the future should he survive today with his ambush having so much chance of failing. Thankfully the woman found the squirrel cute and that was the spark to the demise of the nine people group, the only other worrying moment was when the Elf in plate armor used Qi. Outside of those two points that could have made his ambush fail, his Monsters easily dispatched the Intruders. Leon didn¡¯t like that much of seeing heads exploding, and the faces of the newbies that pissed themselves or of that male mage when the female sorceress died. But they entered here to kill him and that simple reason is enough to Leonhardt not harbor guilt in his heart thanks to the ¡®training¡¯ his mother forced into him when he discovered her rather disgusting hobbies. Despite analyzing all the invasion through all the angles possibles, Leonhardt couldn¡¯t still understand how he is holding a Dungeon Core right now. ¡°S-Save me¡ please.¡± And the tiny voice coming from the Core also didn¡¯t help much him as he is still clueless about this situation where two Dungeon Cores are inside of only one Dungeon. At least he already knows to where turn when he doesn¡¯t understand what is happening. ¡°Gift, care to explain?¡± ¡°Please, save me.¡± [In your hands you have a semi-active Uncommon Dungeon Core that lost its Dungeon Master and Dungeon. It is now using all its strength to just talk with you. If it finds another Dungeon Master, it will be able to create another Dungeon. But that¡¯s practically impossible, as the souls of Dungeon Cores and Dungeon Masters must be extremely compatible.] ¡°I will do anything¡ please¡ save me.¡± The tiny voice couldn¡¯t stop of irritating Leonhardt. ¡°Could you please shut the fuck up for a little? You are disturbing me, I won¡¯t be able to save you if you continue talking when I am concentrated. Do you get it?¡± Leonhardt said, making the voice go silent with its thoughts of being saved brewing inside of it like a poison named hope. ¡°Finally,¡± Leon said. ¡°Gift, if possible I want to save this comrade of mine. We are all Dungeons being targeted by the people. What would I have to do for to ¡®save it¡¯?¡± [There only two means to save the soul of this Dungeon Core that lost is Dungeon before it dissipates. Give up being a Core-Master and sacrifice yourself to create a medium to a pseudo-Dungeon Master¡¯s soul compatible with this Dungeon Core be formed or... ] ¡°What¡¯s wrong? This is the first time you hesitated to answer me.¡± Leon said, already forsaking the first option as he never met this Dungeon Core before to do something like that. [Or¡ you can contract the Dungeon Core to your Dungeon using the Taming Skill. But I don¡¯t recommend this. The Taming Skill isn¡¯t simple as you think, forming a Link with another Dungeon is¡ simply unprecedented. There isn¡¯t any risk to your health if you do it, however, as nobody ever did that, the Gift¡¯s database doesn¡¯t have the data to explain to you what would happen exactly. Nothing of strange could happen while at the same the strangest thing in the world could happen. The Gift doesn¡¯t have the answer to something that never happened.] ¡°So there isn¡¯t any apparent risk, but the results are unknown¡.¡± Leonhardt paused to think, he really wanted to save someone that is also a Dungeon, it is the same situation of when he had the opportunity of doing good or evil to people with his money. He chose to do good because of that strange emotion that still lives inside of him, what was the name of that emotion? ¡ Yes, it was empathy. ¡°Gift, can I even tame a Dungeon Core if I want? It isn¡¯t an animal or Monster.¡± [Yes, theoretically you can. The condition for the Taming Skill to work is that the target isn¡¯t a ¡®people¡¯ and that you have its trust and knowledge about it. Being a Dungeon Core yourself, the knowledge part is already complete. You are only lacking the ¡®trust¡¯ part.] ¡°Humm¡ Dungeon Core, I want to ask you one thing first before I decide to save you or not. Is it okay?¡± Leon said. ¡°Yes, ask me anything.¡± The tiny voice replied. ¡°If the circumstances were inverted, would you save me? If I was a Dungeon Core that lost its Dungeon and ended up in your hands, what would you do? Answer me honestly, I will decide to save you based on your answer.¡± ¡°...¡± The Uncommon Dungeon Core flinched, the correct decision its mind is telling to it do is to lie to the Core-Master, as this is a test he is making. But then it remembered the words of its Dungeon Master before dying and looked deep into itself, bothering a Dungeon comrade and living thanks to a lie, would that be a worthy life to be lived like its Dungeon Master talked about to it live? ¡°I-I wouldn¡¯t save you. Another Dungeon Core in a Dungeon would make a variable too unknown to trust.¡± It told the truth as if seeing its female plant Dungeon Master smiling at it for doing what it is right. Leonhardt chuckled and caressed the cube. ¡°I really like honest children because I in your situation would lie to survive. I think it is amazing to not lie in these circumstances, you remember me a little girl I met in the past. She told the truth despite having a sword close to her neck, threatening her to lie.¡± Leon narrowed his eyes. ¡°I will save you, but you aren¡¯t expecting to be a parasite here, are you? Tell me what you can do that I will bring benefit to me.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t know what can be good for you. Please tell me what problems you are having and I will see if I have the solution for them.¡± ¡°The only problem I am having is the rocks that fell down when Kleber attacked and how fragile the walls around the Dungeon are-¡± ¡°THAT¡¯S IT!¡± The cube used all its strength to shout. ¡°My Dungeon Master was a plant type of Monster and because of it I received Skills related to control of plant¡¯s roots and manipulation of earth outside of the Dungeon.¡± ¡°What do you mean?¡± Leon said, bewildered by hearing the cube shouting so loud suddenly. ¡°I can fortify the entire mountain to prevent any collapse to happen once again.¡± Leonhardt first reaction was to be enthusiastic, but wasn¡¯t everything a little too much of coincidence? He found a Dungeon Core in a woman he killed and the Core could end with the only problem he is having after removing the intruders. Coincidences are things that can happen, however, when so much happen in a short time frame made Leon wonder if there isn¡¯t a ¡®higher force¡¯ beyond him controlling everything to this happen. ¡°To save you I will need to use a Skill of mine called [Taming]. To it work you need to trust me or let me possess you. Which do you want?¡± ¡°I trust you, please tame me.¡± It said without hesitation. ¡°Then¡ [Taming]!¡± [Error¡] [Searching solution to the anomaly known as ¡®a Core-Master forming a Link with a Dungeon Core¡¯...] [Solution found.] [To complete the taming process you need to Name the Dungeon Core as if it was a Monster and change its Race by using Pink Evolution.] [Races that will work: Flower, Tree, Poison Dragon(Locked by Rank), Alraune, Dryad (Locked by Rank).]Support the creativity of authors by visiting the original site for this novel and more. With this Leonhardt was sure someone was manipulating everything to him tame the Core, if not how could he explain that he will have to use the [Named Monster] slot he just gained? And moreover his [Pink Evolution]? Leon didn¡¯t like the feeling of being controlled against his wishes¡ well, he kind of had it coming for him considering how much his [Taming] Skill was like a mind-controlling Skill. There was a thing called Karma for what is happening to him. Leon sighed and accepted, considering he deserved it and how the ¡®thing¡¯ doesn¡¯t want to kill him yet if ¡®it¡¯ gave him the way to stop the cave¡¯s collapses. ¡°I will have to change your Race, the first two options are kind of useless to me and I don¡¯t know what an Alraune is. Do you mind if I change you to an Alraune since by the name it is probably a Monster capable of fighting?¡± The Patron¡¯s power will hate to do it. ¡°Yes, I will love to be one. My Dungeon Master was one too, it is a shame I will have to become a female though. Alraunes are only female.¡± ¡°Then, do you want to become a normal flower or tree?¡± ¡°No, I can at least protect myself and the Dungeon if I become an Alraune. I don¡¯t want to be a parasite to you.¡± ¡°Can you at least give me a general information about Alraunes?¡± ¡°Isn¡¯t better to directly ask the Gift about it?¡± The cube soon-to-be Alraune pointed. ¡°Oh¡ yeah. I tend to forget about it sometimes. Gift, explain about Alraunes.¡± [Alraunes are the evolution of mandrakes coming from a translation of a distant planet. They are basically rooted flowers with a green-skinned humanoid female form coming from the flower. They are also poisonous and have mind-altering powers.] Leonhardt hearing the word ¡®rooted¡¯ went to the last room of the Dungeon and began the process of taming the Dungeon Core. [Please put the Core inside of the flower the Alraune will be born.] Leonhardt felt less than one point of Mana being drained from him as he thought about yellow acacias flowers that looked more like a shrub with all how close each little points of it grouped together similar to a dandelion. Putting the Core on the acacias in the ground, Leonhardt had to initiate the naming process together with the [Pink Evolution] which made everything a little more tricky to do. Leonhardt was too concentrated on the [Pink Evolution] to think in a good name, so he just said. ¡°Your name from now on is Acacia.¡± And focused more on the aspect of the green-skinned woman coming from the flower than on its poison and mind-altering powers to the Patron¡¯s power not complaintoo much at him as he doesn¡¯t have real knowledge how they work in an Alraune. As the process of naming and evolving happened at the same time, Acacia struggled to maintain her conscience as she was being torn off and reconstructed by two different powers. The flowers acacias grew enough to occupy one meter of the room¡¯s area and its height reached Leonhardt¡¯s knees, and from it began to emerge the humanoid form of Acacia. She stood tall with one meter and seventy centimeters, fifteen centimeters more than Leonhardt. Her bewitching golden eyes and silky jade green long hair seemed to beam despite the room not having any illumination whatsoever. Thankfully Leonhardt and his Monsters can see in the dark thanks to [Dungeon Core¡¯s Basics]. The Patron¡¯s power complained to Leonhardt and he fixed his mistakes by giving a good proportion to Acacia benefitting her stature, almost a little too big or fat in certain areas of her body as he failed a little in the controlsince he doesn¡¯t have a ¡®doctorate¡¯ about women. Which made him remember to cover her private parts and the Core sticking out in the middle of her chest with yellow leaves coming from the acacias. Making as if she had golden gloves, shoes and a dress made of flowers. A perverted ant is enough as the population of prurient individuals in this Dungeon. [Name]: Acacia [Race]: Alraune [Age]: 0 [Sex]: Female [Welfare]: Healthy [Rank]: D [Title]: Earth¡¯s Chosen One, Soul Reincarnated [Master]: Leonhardt Udalth VI [Class]: Novice Poison-Earth Druid Lvl 1 0% [Qi]: 0/10 (+0/year) [Mana]: 200/200 (+2/min) Unfortunately, Leonhardt wasn¡¯t capable of making Acacia become a variant thanks to his lack of knowledge and creativity because of the high stress of naming and evolving at the same time but she at least had titles, a class, and even more Mana than him. Leonhardt looked at his notifications when he finished with Acacia. [Level Up! Taming is now Level 19, naturally bypassing the first Wall because of a Dungeon Core¡¯s taming. You can now instantly tame any Alraune or Dungeon Core weaker than Acacia.] [Requirements for a new Sub-Class completed. Please check it later.] [Level Up! You are now an Initiate Dungeon Master Level 20 5%. Please complete more hidden requirements for a Rank Up.] ¡°My Master, Leonhardt Udalth, I thank you for saving me. I promise to do whatever I can to protect your, no, our Dungeon.¡± Acacia held her dress and formally bowed to Leon while smiling demurely. ¡°Can you now stop the cave from collapsing anymore?¡± Leon said, wondering why all his tamed Monsters seems so intelligent and formal, with exception of Dhasharan. ¡°Yes, in a moment.¡± She said closing her eyes only to open them seconds later. ¡°It is done.¡± ¡°What? So quick?!¡± ¡°With my [Title] and Skills it was easy to spread my roots through all this mountain and then fortify the foundation where this mountain is. But I had to spend all my Mana to do it.¡± She said, exhausted. ¡°Rest, for now, later I will talk with you.¡± ¡°Thank you, Master.¡± Leonhardt walked back to the place where he was looting the corpses to find the pair of his tamed Monsters he is beginning to hate the most. *Isn¡¯t his eyes¡¯ color too boring? It is just like him, dull and stupid. Haha.* The orange squirrel said with his mouth full of acorns. *Yes, it is. But not more than his ugly face. He no even tends his beard. Does he have a head problem? Like you said he is the epitome of stupidity.* Dhasharan said with the squirrel on its back. *It is good to finally found someone that can understand me and perceive how hateable that Dungeon is.* *Friends are there for it, big friend.* ¡°...¡± Leonhardt went to the bodies ignoring his Monsters bad mouthing him since he brought and tamed the squirrel, Dhasharan hadn¡¯t stopped of talking and making a friendship with it. It is good to know Dhasharan has now a place to outlet his stress and hatred without destroying Leonhardt¡¯s Dungeon Master''s Body but¡ why are they so alike and content of hating me? They are like a copy of each other, if Dhasharan had any reproductive ¡®equipments¡¯ and was of the correct size, Leon is certain they would already be breeding with how close they are despite knowing each other for only some hours. Leonhardt separated on one side the weapons the bodies were carrying and also that enchanted sword and shield coming from the Elf that used Qi and gave them to Kleber distribute to the Antkins, explaining to him that he will teach them later how to use them. Now Leon has to decide what he will absorb of the miscellaneous items the corpses were carrying. ¡°Bandages, food, water, money, random magic apparatus and those badges coming from a strange place called Adventurer Guild are useless to me. So it only leaves these two scrolls to see if they are useful.¡± He first opened the scroll coming from the male mage and it was written on it how to inscribe Mana on objects to give them enchantments or transform them on magic apparatus, he must be a noble have this scroll, Leon put the scroll on the Dungeon¡¯s almost infinite interdimensional storage and then went to the scroll on the female sorceress. Leonhardt groaned seeing the wasted scroll and reading its description. [Scroll of Steal: By putting Mana on this scroll you can steal anything in the radius of five meters around you unless it weighs more than one ton. Leftover Charges: 0.] [Obs: This scroll can¡¯t be recharged.] ¡°It goes to the absorption group then.¡± Leonhardt grouped everything useless to him and absorbed them in only one time to fill his Mana¡¯s reserve and receive DP. [You earn 601.5 DP.] Now Leonhardt created some more Antkins workers to protect the Dungeon and began to teach them how to use the swords, shields, spears and even an ax that his intruders had while going through his new Dungeon Upgrades and Dungeon Traits. [Upgrades] Current DP: 891.8 [Free Decorations to all rooms: 8 DP] [A new base Monster Race: 100 DP] [Permission to create any tool or object: 400 DP] [Free Advanced Decorations to all rooms: 500 DP] [Named Monster Slot: 1500 DP] [Permission to use traps: 3000 DP] [Intermediary Monster Race¡¯s list: 10000 DP] [...] Leonhardt doesn''t have a use for decoration or for a new Monster Race when he no even used all the available to him so he just bought the permission to create objects to him finally have some better weapons or even useful doors to his Dungeon. [Common Dungeon Traits] Please select only one. [Monster Spawners.] [Auto Harvest.] [Treasure Chests.] Leonhardt read through their descriptions and immediately selected [Monster Spawners], with this I can lock up one room and use [Blue Evolution] to evolve a Race and make it continuously breed, and I will in the end only tame the strongest ones. Leon smiled, everything from now on will change for better to him. He can¡¯t feel he will lose to the intruders after teaching his Monsters how to use Qi and selecting a new Sub-Class for him. He just has to grow steady without any more risks and Lord Seventh will have great power when he borns. It is time to hole up and no ever leave the Dungeon! Interlude 1: Lets Give a Rest to the Long Titles Despite the disaster caused by the disappearance of one Dungeon Core, Tuan got off the hook because of the information of a supposedly Common Dungeon being able to kill him, a Rank C Adventurer, and the construction of the city, Bayhelm, near such Dungeon and the Uncommon Dungeon that will be used as a source of income continued at full steam with the Ex-Phantasmas opening a temporary Warp Gate to transport the architects, carpenters and all the resources necessary to the city¡¯s construction. Now one week after the construction¡¯s beginning, the city began to take form with stalls scattered everywhere and a bigger than most buildings already completed in the center of the city, instead of a normal town hall the building¡¯s name was Adventurer Guild¡¯s branch. Adventurers went and left the building to do Dungeon Dives or even some miscellaneous requests. And after one week a common knowledge is passed on through the newbies, ¡®if you want to train and gather money go to the Uncommon Dungeon named Cave of Desires, and if you want to die or bypass your limits go to the unnamed Dungeon that is on the contrary direction where the city is being constructed to. Nobody that had less than 500 PP had survived a Dungeon Dive to the unnamed Dungeon¡¯. Meanwhile, below the forest near the city, the grunts of a worldwide criminal organization, The Five Jack Skulls, were having a reunion. They used basic Earth and Air¡¯s manipulation to create a provisory hiding place with a circulation of air and a barrier to not let anyone above the ground hear their conversations or plans. ¡°So¡ what do we do now? That damned Prime Minister is hunting all of us. We can¡¯t go brazenly go steal the Dungeon Cores.¡± A female grunt with fiery red hair said. ¡°Boss, should we give up and just settle in observing how the city grows?¡± The said Boss caressed his bald head and groaned in defeat. ¡°Yeah, we should give up and all of us with exception of one person must go back to our leader. I am certain the others groups are in a situation similar to us.¡± Those were words the members of any normal criminal organization¡¯s members would never utter, give up on a mission before even starting? Their leaders would kill them for insubordination. But the members of The Five Jack Skulls¡¯ were different, they were trained to always considers the pros and cons of their actions and immediately retreat if any profit is hard to be obtained without their leader¡¯s help. Arrogance and courage weren¡¯t concepts part of their lifestyles. ¡°Then should I be the one to observe the city? I am a considerable beautiful woman whom can be easily contracted by the soon to be constructed brothels and whorehouses. Those places and taverns are the best places to gather information.¡± The red-haired woman, Claudia, showed off her ¡®advantageous¡¯ proportions to demonstrate her point without being proud or happy about them. She didn¡¯t like she will have to ¡®service¡¯ random people and be objectified because of her own plan, but for the organization that welcomed and saved her from the streets, such sacrifices are negligible, even if she has to sacrifice her virginity that she was saving on for the right person. ¡°Hmm¡ Claudia, it hurts me for you have to do it alone. So I permit you to contract any person you feel the necessity to with this money.¡± The boss passed a bag to Claudia. ¡°But you can¡¯t tell them you are from The Five Jack Skulls, they will only be employees contracted by you.¡± ¡°Thank you, Boss. I will be certain to bring honor to our group.¡± Claudia bowed and everyone else gradually the hiding place until she was the only one in the forest above the ¡®hole¡¯ they were. ¡°Now, what should I do first-¡± Claudia tried to talk before she was left with mouth agape in shock because of what happened at her front. A mini purple hole surged just like the ones that were a week ago over the world¡¯s capitals and from it came a damaged violet Invader that didn¡¯t even reach Claudia¡¯s knees with its small height, different from the others Invaders that were bigger than most skyscrapers already made by the flying dwarves¡¯ hands. It lunged at Claudia before she could react and used its amorphous body to enter into Claudia¡¯s body by her mouth and nose. Stop! What are you doing to me? This is disgusting-, Claudia thought in despair as she cried and nobody came to help her. In moments all her resistances were futile and she dropped limp on the ground while a message appeared for the last time on her front. [The Gift is being uninstalled from this body. I hope you had a good time while using it.] [Goodbye, Claudia Estheim.] The Invader finished its invasion and stood up with Claudia¡¯s body, no, its own body from the ground as its skin turned into a deep purple together with its body losing all kinds of hair existents. ¡°That blasted [Hero] really got me there, I even have had to flee before getting that Legendary Dungeon Core. At least they didn¡¯t discover the mole we implanted long ago in this country with my false demise.¡± It said trying to adjust to the language Claudia uses thanks to her memory it got control of. ¡°If I was captured I am certain that woman at his side would be capable of making me talk with her strange Class. How could we never heard about the [Antagonist]?¡± The Invader now known as Claudia, observed her new body had some inconveniences she would like to remove with her shapeshifting ability. She at first removed the big lumps of fat at her chest and closed the two holes in her genital area which are fatal weaknesses. Only to perceive how strange she looked with a flaccid bra and daring outfits ''Claudia'' used to accentuate her cleavage.Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation. She sighed and brought back the lumps of fat while changing back her skin to a pale tone and not forgetting of bringing back her long silky red hair. She refused to open the holes in the genital area once again though. It¡¯s not like someone would see them anyways and she maintained firm in her conviction they were a fatal weakness. She couldn¡¯t understand why the others Races always have at least one hole in their body that isn¡¯t their ears or mouths. She walked back to Bayhelm while analyzing her own memories and thinking about her future. Should she become a Wandering Invader and eat the maximum of Gift¡¯s beares possible before an Ex-Phantasma or the [Hero] finding her? Or should she become a little more greedy and gather power to challenge the [Hero] again? ¡°So that is what those holes serve for. What strange ritual they have to reproduce each other.¡± She said in wonder after finishing of analyzing the original Claudia¡¯s memories and discovering what the money in the bag serves for. ¡°Let¡¯s first arrange a way to reform my lost power. My future waits for me only after it. Fortunately, I don¡¯t think our mole would be stupid enough to search for me just because my signal temporally disappeared.
"Grigor, I want to be strong like you and my brother. Could you bring me in secret to a city called Bayhelm? I heard there were two sorts of Dungeons really interesting there. I could go to the easy one and you would be capable of training in the unnamed hard one.¡± The Royal Princess, Rachel, said with a begging expression to the otherworlder boy when he was choosing the city he will be going to train by orders of the Ex-Phantasmas. ¡°Royal-¡± ¡°Didn¡¯t I tell to call me Rachel? I thought we were friends.¡± Rachel feigned to tear by pure willpower. ¡°R-Rachel, of course, we are friends! I will bring you to Bayhelm, wait here until I arrange some clothes to disguise you.¡± Grigor couldn¡¯t bear seeing Rachel ¡®crying¡¯ and immediately decided to go to Bayhelm although he doesn¡¯t know anything about the place and he will be punished when someone discovers the Royal Princess disappeared because of him. So easy, Rachel thought while smirking and dropping the Adventurer Badge she was forced to make on the ground to someone take at least one day to perceive she was gone. Now I just need to find the correct moment to pretend weakness and kill him to put the blame on the Guardian Ex-Phantasma or even in the Dungeon if the situation isn¡¯t decent enough. ¡°Here, Rachel. Put these on.¡± Grigor gave to Rachel a pitch black cloak and a mask similar to the ones Grigor is using to disguise the blond hair and violet eyes coming from Rachel¡¯s Royal Blood. ¡°Eh¡ Grigor, could leave the room for a moment? I need to go to the b-bathroom before leaving.¡± Rachel said with a blush. Grigor dashed out from the room without saying anything. ¡°How come the IQ from the people of my planet got so low to them believe in my terrible performance? Leastwise with that ¡®lovely¡¯ painting monster and that bitch I once called of mother dead there is no one to stop me now.¡± Rachel dropped all the pretense and smiles when Grigor left the room. As she put the raiment Grigor gave her, she dragged out from under her immense bed a blindfolded and mute maid she contracted years ago to be the perfect guinea pig to her secret weapon and the spell she finally completed because of her Class, [Novice Record Keeper]. The maid struggled and tried to fight against Rachel, but those efforts were futile. There is nothing that will be capable of saving her from being killed, no, erased from the Multiverses'' records. Rachel brought out the secret weapon she received, an iridescent jagged dagger which is so thin and blunt that isn''t capable of killing anyone with an efficiency good as a normal dagger. But that isn¡¯t anyways the original purpose of this dagger called Gift¡¯s Usurper. Its purpose is something deeper and grandiose than killing a ¡®nobody¡¯ like a maid. However, Rachel doesn¡¯t know this and is using one of the Multiverses¡¯ Primal Artifacts to only ¡®kill¡¯ a certain concept of the maid¡¯s existence. Rachel thought of giving an evil laugh or telling her plans to the maid, but she perceived that would be the actions of a third-rate villain she saw one time in a website with ¡®tropes¡¯, so she just stabbed the Artifact on a random area of the maid¡¯s body and her wishes to the dagger function became true as a notification popped out. [Target¡¯s spawn point has been reset to the location where it dies.] [Draining target¡¯s PP and potential¡ you receive 1 PP.] A small smile formed beneath Rachel¡¯s mask as the way to finally become the [Heroine] opened to her. Time to test my original Spell, Rachel began to chant for long ten minutes without stopping as the maid wept feeling her death approaching with Rachel holding a normal dagger over the maid¡¯s heart. ¡°[Record Eraser],¡± Rachel whispered as the Spell was finished and she stabbed the steel dagger on the maid¡¯s heart. Before the maid¡¯s soul could go to the Soulkeeper, chains appeared from Rachel¡¯s shadow and brought it back to the maid¡¯s body. ¡°Second Stage.¡± Rachel¡¯s overflowing Mana entered into the shadow chains and transformed them into hungry mouths that ate the very existence of the maid. The soul, memories, clothes, and body of the maid were completely forgotten and erased from the Multiverses¡¯ records, Rachel is now the only person that remembers a mute maid took care of the Royal Princess. ¡°Final Stage.¡± The chains receded into Rachel¡¯s shadow and the maid¡¯s records were absorbed by her Class. This Spell was so perfect in its execution that the maid¡¯s body disappeared with her clothes and nobody noted the disturbance on the Mana¡¯s flow in her room. Although it takes too long and is impossible to be used in a fight. Rachel opened her room to find Grigor waiting for her together with another person using the same raiment she is using. ¡°Rachel, I hope you don¡¯t care I found another person to travel with us,¡± Grigor said with the portable teleportation device in hands. ¡°Don¡¯t worry, your secret is safe with him.¡± The other masked man bowed to Rachel and said some pleasantries with a clearly altered voice by Mana to try to disguise his identity. But to Rachel that is the [Record Keeper], such half-baked measures were useless. She exactly knew who this person was. So the traitor is also coming, Rachel quirked her eyebrow and almost gave up of killing Grigor. With almost being the imperative word. I really don¡¯t have anything against you, Grigor. But for my ¡®happy ending¡¯ I need you to die. Why is that person going to Bayhelm though? Will something big happen in Bayhelm that I don¡¯t know? Chapter 8: Pitiful Antkin, the Queens Abdomen is too Heavy [+1 Qi] Qi: 10/108 (+1/year) ¡°Finally,¡± Leonhardt said, feeling the energy going to inside of himself at a slow pace. It took him one week of constant meditations to him get the trick of making his body unconsciously absorb Qi. It turned out the process was similar to breathing, if Leon ¡®breathes¡¯ for a long time without being remembered he is ¡®breathing¡¯ he will end up ¡®breathing¡¯ without perceiving. A shame the trick ends when he thinks about it. Qi: 10/108 (+0/year) ¡°Well, at least this is a progress.¡± Leon was happy for that since on the rest of his activities he isn¡¯t having any kind of progression after he taught the basic of weapons to his ever-growing Antkin¡¯s nest. He had to restrain himself from creating more of them and also impede Kleber of fertilizing the Antkin¡¯s queen, if not, the Dungeon won¡¯t have space for all of them. First things first, the plan to receive a new Sub-Class was fruitless as he received the chance to become something like a [Summoner], someone that can connect itself to otherworldly planes to contract Familiars like Demons to fight at his side. He probably received this chance because of his [Taming] Skill that was supposed to be just a Skill with the ability to make friends with living non-people. Despite Leon using it as a mind controller Skill. Leonhardt didn¡¯t see the necessity of summoning Familiars if he can just create them one day with his Dungeon''s powers, so he forsook the chance to become a [Summoner] and is waiting now for another Sub-Class to appear. [Named Monster Kleber died.] [Please use Mana and Essence to revive him or destroy his soul to create another Named Monster.] ¡°God fucking dammit! Kleber, I told you to not fertilize the Antkin¡¯s queen!¡± Leonhardt screamed at Kleber¡¯s soul at his front in the Dungeon¡¯s storage. ¡°Her abdomen is too heavy to your ¡®equipment¡¯ survive long enough to the Time Revival work.¡± Leon knew his fertile Antkins would die because all the normal ants die when having sex with the queens, but Kleber is abusing his right to infinite revival. Leon had the stupid idea to create more than one queen and many others Antkins¡¯ workers since he discovered the Pharaoh Antkins had no problem with having more queens, crowding the Dungeon with eggs even with the pregnancy period caused by the [Pink Evolution] being bigger than normal. By his calculus, the first batch of eggs will only be born in two months. *My Lord, put your mind at ease. I didn¡¯t fertilize my queen, I cut out my sperm producer and had normal sex with her.* Kleber after being revived brought out his arms to his front and did a ¡®thumbs up¡¯ with them to Leon¡¯s Dungeon Core body whilst smiling with a satisfied expression. ¡°... I seriously don¡¯t know to react to you. Are you stupid? Where did I go wrong while creating you?¡± Leonhardt passed telepathically a message to all his monsters. ¡°Kleber is from now on forbidden to have sex or fertilize anyone until the first batch of eggs is born. Anyone that helps him ¡®de-stress¡¯ will be punished.¡± *NO! My Lord! Have mercy!* Kleber groveled at Leonhardt¡¯s front and bowed his head hard and quick enough to shatter the Dungeon¡¯s ground. Leonhardt had a soft spot in his heart to his first tamed monster that obeyed him with real respect. ¡°If you want to continue on your lecherous ways, then show to me the results that you deserve it. Defeat that Rank C adventurer in a one-to-one fight without dying or using any tricks. If you do so, I will create a special queen for you that won¡¯t be fertilized by you or kill you with her abdomen. The time limit is two months.¡± Aeglisa had given him a spy to watch the nearby city¡¯s growth after she had seen what he did to the normal ants. She was entranced, mesmerized and had fallen in love with the Pharaoh¡¯s Inconel Antkins so much she decided to always have a holographic clone of her seeing their growth. And with this spy Leonhardt had learned what his father and the Ex-Phantasmas had done in his country, they created the Adventurer¡¯s Guild and set his unnamed Dungeon as a ¡®hard¡¯ Dungeon despite him being only a Common Dungeon Core. She was disappointed with what he did with Acacia though, in her standards transforming a Dungeon Core in a normal monster isn¡¯t enough to impress her. He also discovered the name of the elf adventurer that went to his Dungeon and why it was also so easy to kill him at that time. Tuan was burdened with the new adventurers¡¯ safety and that made him weak and easily surprised. The elf man after that encounter had come back to the Dungeon and was able to kill alone Kleber and othersAntkins, he only stopped his killing spree when Dhasharan appeared to scare him off. *My holy Lord, thank you for your mercy. I will swear to you I will answer your high expectations on me.* Kleber said this without ¡®thou¡¯ to please Leonhardt since he knows his Lord don¡¯t like him using it. ¡°Just go train already.¡± Leon dismissed Kleber. The second thing that didn¡¯t progress as Leonhardt expected was the [Blue Evolution], he had chosen rabbits as a test because of how quick they can impregnate each other before using his Patron¡¯s powers on pure monsters like Goblins, but it was a complete failure. He is only waiting for Lisa finish of doing her daily check on the Antkins to receive bits of advice from her. *Master, can you change to your Dungeon Master¡¯s body? I have something to give you in that body.* Acacia called Leonhardt. ¡°Give me one moment.¡± Leonhardt had now the habit of putting his flesh body beneath the Dungeon¡¯s ground for safety when he doesn¡¯t need of it to tame something or meet Aeglisa. The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation. Leonhard went meet Acacia that had the impertinent squirrel sleeping above her head in an artificially made bed of flowers. The little thing took a like to sleep on Dhasharan¡¯s fur or together with Acacia after eating his nuts despite not needing to eat anything now that it is a Dungeon Monster. Leon had thought of using [Pink Evolution] on it, but that for now would put its life at risk. The adventures flee from it because its previous role as a distraction or don¡¯t attack it because it is just a normal squirrel, if he makes it strong the people would one day kill it, judging it as a threat. Of course, Leonhardt won¡¯t let a parasite live in his Dungeon, he is only waiting for another Named Monster slot to appear to use [Pink Evolution] on it. He has the determination to sacrifice his tamed monsters if necessary to the Dungeon¡¯s survival, but he won¡¯t ever send them on suicidal missions or put them at risk for no apparent reason. He has that feeling he sometimes forgets about that is called empathy or love for his tamed monsters, after all. Leonhardt doesn¡¯t remember anymore as a Core-Master the correct name for that feeling. "Master, you are here. Please accept this negligible present of mine." Acacia smiled at him while holding out her hands with a bracelet made of oddly black acacias flowers to Leon. Acacias flowers aren¡¯t only yellow?, Leonhardt thought while gladly receiving a present from his monster, this is the kind of treatment I like, not being cursed or hit like a certain fox does. ¡°Thank you, Acacia. You didn¡¯t need to give me something.¡± Leon put the bracelet on his right wrist and felt a strange energy flowing through his body. ¡°Acacia, what this bracelet does of special? I felt something strange when I put it.¡± "This is a Rank Rare bracelet I made using all my Mana in this week together with my Class'' [Poison-Earth Druid] special Skill. While using it, Master won¡¯t ever poisoned by something that isn¡¯t at least Rank A and will receive a passive effect of reduced damage against Earth Magic and monsters made of only Earth, like golems for example. This is an item granted by a special Skill of my Class that I won¡¯t ever be able to replicate, maybe improve when I Rank Up though.¡± ¡°Amazing, Acacia. This item is invaluable and you are incredible by making an item one Rank above yours, not everyone can do that. No even the best blacksmiths or artificers.¡± Leon said caressing his new bracelet with widened eyes by its worth. ¡°I can¡¯t receive this without giving you something in exchange, what do you desire for in this Dungeon?¡± "Master, I only spent time doing it to show my gratitude for you saving me. I don¡¯t desire for anything beyond our survival.* Acacia hurriedly shook her head. ¡°What are you saying? You already showed that when you ¡®fixed¡¯ this mountain. Think carefully, is there really nothing that you desire for?¡± "Hmm¡" She paused to think while only slightly tilting her head because of the squirrel above her. "If it is not asking for too much, I want to be the next Boss Monster to receive the Rank Up, I want to be more useful and have a way to help my comrades despite being stuck here in this room." ¡°Consider it done, do you need me to something else? I need to wait for Lisa at the rabbit¡¯s room.¡± "No, Master. Please go meet Miss Aeglisa." Leonhardt had locked an area with metal doors and fortified glass walls that go through two rooms of the Dungeon, on this area he put a monster spawner of rabbits that constantly drain six of his Essence to work. On the [Blue Evolution] of the rabbits, he had the pregnancy time set to only one day and had only slightly increased their legs and fangs to force them to evolve to something that has attack power or at least know how to run. The problem was that he underestimated how brutal and eager to have sex the rabbits were, they killed each other non-stopping and didn¡¯t even let the young ones that were mutated to survive long enough to become strong and breed with others rabbits. The experiment was a complete failure with none of the mutated rabbits surviving and still maintaining their trash Rank F. ¡°Leon! You won¡¯t believe what your Named Antkin did! It was amazing.¡± Lisa came running to him in her holographic form. ¡°He cut-¡± ¡°I already know what happened and I don¡¯t want to remember.¡± Leonhardt interrupted Aeglisa. ¡°Well¡¡± Lisa fidgeted without knowing what to say, she was too excited by Leon¡¯s interesting Antkins as a Patron that governs over Evolution and Growth. ¡°Let¡¯s take a look to those rabbits to me teach you what you have done wrong.¡± She decided to go with the professional Patron¡¯s attitude. ¡°Yeah, you completely failed in this one. Just kill all of them or release them on the wilds.¡± Lisa said after one glance to the rabbits. ¡°This isn¡¯t how you use [Blue Evolution]. You don¡¯t keep them closed on only one space or create this amount of them, in the early stages when the targeted monster isn¡¯t too sentient you need to work with smaller numbers. I will give you a point for the idea and also by using a monster spawner though. In the next time set the monster spawner to a small rate.¡± Leonhardt wrote Lisa¡¯s bits of advice on a corner in the Dungeon and thanked her before sending the rabbits to the forest as they would only get killed in the Dungeon if any adventurer reaches them. ¡°I will try once again with the rabbits before using [Blue Evolution] on others monsters.¡± ¡°I will help you this time in the early stages, so don¡¯t worry about horribly failing this time.¡± She puffed up her chest. ¡°But¡ can¡¯t you fix the looks of this Dungeon already? I¡¯m feeling dejected only seeing cave walls all the time, at least put some plants here.¡± ¡°Do I really need to? It¡¯s not like the Dungeon¡¯s appearance will change anything in our chances of survival. And this Dungeon¡¯s rooms are too small to me make something grandiose anyways.¡± ¡°What are you talking about? Rooms? Could be you still haven¡¯t finished the starter quest?¡± Lisa looked bewildered at Leon. ¡°Don¡¯t you know that if you let the quest analyze your Dungeon, the limit of space that is forced in all the Dungeon will disappear?¡± ¡°Are you serious?!¡± ¡°Of course, if you finish the quest you can expand the Dungeon¡¯s influence to everywhere that your Mana can handle. But there is also a limit to that, making creating another floor more profitable than just expanding horizontally the Dungeon.¡± ¡°Isn¡¯t it better to wait for more time to the quest give me a better reward?¡± ¡°Not necessarily, there is a reward cap on that quest to the Legendary Dungeons not take too long to complete it. I think your Dungeon is quite good with all these Antkins and Named Monsters.¡± Lisa brought out a blue-pink scroll. ¡°How about this? If you finish the quest now and make a decoration to your Dungeon in a way that can impress me, I will make possible to you remotely control the spy I gave you and also permit you to see in real time everything that it sees.¡± ¡°Oh¡ that is an interesting challenge and worthwhile reward. Let¡¯s see what I can do with all my Dungeon¡¯s powers.¡± Leonhardt¡¯s eyes gleamed at the challenge''s prospect, he will never be a vanity enthusiast but that doesn¡¯t mean he doesn¡¯t know how to decorate things in the way that can even suck out someone¡¯s soul from just staring at it. He learned a lot from Lord Second¡¯s paintings and will be sure honor his famous nicknames, Painting Monster and his least favorite, Soul Eater. It wasn¡¯t his fault Lord Second¡¯s Essence was imbued so deeply into the paintings that the people couldn¡¯t sense the time to pass and became addicted to them in a way it seemed the paintings had devoured their souls, after all. Chapter 9: The Devil Himself is Closer to You than You Think, He Only Has Aiming Problems [Quest: First Floor Management] Make your first floor ready to the people of the planet D6C6S3 train in there for EP( Experience Points) [Analysing Dungeon¡] [Three Named Monsters detected: 300 DP. One Boss Monster detected: 500 DP. Evolved Race detected: 250 DP. Decoration and Adnorments undetected: 0 DP. Class¡] [Rewards] [1350 DP, space restrictions lifted and the right to have a Dungeon Name.] [You can now still use your Dungeon¡¯s powers if there isn¡¯t an intruder on the exact floor you want to modify and there is one on another floor.] [New Quest!] [Quest: Kill a Wandering Invader or finish all your first ten floors.] Rewards: An additional Boss Monster slot or an additional Named Monster slot depending on what you do [Optional Side Quest]: Please construct a place to weak people train in your Dungeon for EP, your EP given rate is pitiful in comparison to the others Dungeons. Don¡¯t forget the Dungeons exist to train people, not just outrightly killing them without giving something in exchange. Rewards: A random Common Dungeon Trait Now the Gift wants me to create a weak Dungeon even though I am being unjustifiably accused of being ¡®hard¡¯. Tuan can kill the Antkins without a problem, I don¡¯t know from where the people got the notion of ¡®hard¡¯ in this Dungeon. You are the ¡®boss¡¯ here so I will obey you this time, I was wondering where I would put that monster spawner anyway. [Please choose a name for you Dungeon.] ¡°So it is now that I can pick a name, what name should I choose? Let me think in the peculiarities of this Dungeon.¡± Leonhardt rocked his head to the sides. ¡°I have [Time Revival], [Taming] and [Possession] as the biggest peculiarities. Then I have ants that can walk upright, a Dungeon Core that became a Monster, an extremely powerful fox that it is for some reason friendly to an annoying squirrel. And last but not least, a Patron that have Evolution powers and I share life and death with her. What name encompass everything that I have said?¡± An idea quickly flashed through Leonhardt¡¯s mind. ¡°I now have many Skills and I can make any monster evolve from its weak origin like my title said to me do, so¡ my Dungeon Name will be Evolution¡¯s Skilful Origins! Or E.S.O. Dungeon for short.¡± Leonhardt gleefully grinned at his bad naming sense that one day was able to create a cat¡¯s name with more than seven words when he was feeling more creative. [Your Dungeon Name from now on is Evolution¡¯s Skilful Origins. The short name, E.S.O. Dungeon, will be shown on the beacon outside of the Dungeon.] ¡°Now let¡¯s finally expand my dungeon territory in the way I want, not just twelve rooms with a small area.¡± Leonhardt first increased the cave¡¯s opening height and expanded his Mana to cover everything below the cave¡¯s opening height. Completely covering all the cave¡¯s extension, even the area where the cave¡¯s animals stay, like frogs, critters, and bats for example. The Core-Master felt bad for destroying the nature¡¯s biosystem on the cave, but he sent his Antkins to kill the animals or at least chase them away from the Dungeon since they are considered intruders (without given DP for invasion) and will disturb the control of his Dungeon¡¯s powers. Now Leonhardt had a Dungeon with kilometers of length as his first floor to decorate and impress Aeglisa. Leon will have to make sure to do something amazing with the little lake that exists where the frogs were, he is certain Lisa will be impressed if he makes something like a mini waterfall or a shining lake with gems. Although he could feel something beneath where the cave ends, he will only discover what it is when he creates his second floor. ¡°I should study that inscriber¡¯s novice scroll while my Mana is being recharged.¡± Leon brought out from the Dungeon¡¯s storage the scroll he looted from the male mage¡¯s body to pass his time. Before the sunrise, his Mana should be full once again even if he doesn¡¯t use his absorption ability on the resources he gathered in his interdimensional storage on this last week. Leonhardt read aloud the scroll¡¯s contents to memorize them. ¡°Imagine your Mana flowing out from your fingers as a fine thread that will ¡®weave¡¯ formats in what you want to enchant or even create a Law Rune on an ¡®object¡¯, Law Runes are glyphs that when put on certain locations following certain rules will create supernatural effects or ¡®Laws¡¯ which have to be followed for as much as the glyphs exist...¡± Leon first thoughts when he read this scroll a week ago was, isn¡¯t this just a mixture of Dungeon Laws and painting? I need to ¡®weave¡¯ or paint a figure that will make supernatural effects appear, for example, the revival of dead bodies before they become motes of light. He got the first level of [Inscribing] five days ago when he understood the way to Mana flow thinly through his fingers like he was holding on a brush made of mana and have to ¡®paint¡¯ certain images like bears, fishes or cats in objects to the inscribing work. And two days ago he got his [Inscribing] to level five when he finished inscribing bear figures in all the Antkins¡¯ weapons to make them sturdier and last longer. The next step in the art of inscribing is to make Law Runes and it is a step Leonhardt is struggling to do it right because he is being too much ambitious and wanting to already make a Law Rune that can influence with time or gravity. Now at the sunrise after reading the scroll many times, Leonhardt decided to test his inscribing abilities before decorating the Dungeon. ¡°This time I will just try to make light appear from the Law Rune, this is will be essential when I began to decorate that lake.¡± The transparent Mana brush on Leonhardt¡¯s hands glowed as he painted on the ground according to the scroll¡¯s instructions and using the correct amount of mana, a butterfly¡¯s image with small symbols that had the meaning of ¡®light¡¯ on its wings. The only thing that lacked to the butterfly¡¯s image evolve from a enchantment to a Law Rune was to Leon mix in the butterfly¡¯s image symbols of ¡®harvesting¡¯ and ¡®automatic distribution¡¯ to it work continuously without needing to him charge it with Mana and it was don- [Permission denied!] [Please buy the permission to use Traps before creating Law Runes.] ¡°The killjoy strikes back! Why am I not even surprised anymore?¡± Leonhardt said jokingly, not caring about having his plans every time being destroyed by the Gift. He is already past the stage where he gets angry at a sentient higher force that is only doing its job. The Core-Master dissipated his Mana brush and began to look through his Dungeon¡¯s lists for something that will highlight even more the beauty and complexity of the Antkins¡¯ nest that had many holes inside the ground and even own small buildings made by the Antkins themselves with the Dungeon¡¯s earth after receiving Leon¡¯s approval. Leonhardt used some metals and dyes to carve some paintings he one day painted thanks to Lord Second¡¯s help as a test to see how well he could wield Lord Second¡¯s abilities yet. The result was¡ calamitous. The Antkins were just staring in wonder as if without souls at the carvings of a grandiose silvery white castle where Lord Fourth lived and to his mother¡¯s carving that he asked for Lord Second paint before copying it. Leonhardt immediately destroyed the carvings to save his Antkins, what a disaster, I even bragged in my mind how good I am at decorating things, how embarrassing. Leastwise nobody heard that. What am I going to do now? There is no meaning to carve something that will disturb both my enemies and allies. I have to give up on the Lord Second¡¯s Essence and do things in my own way, although it won¡¯t be as beautiful or amazing as if I used Lord Second¡¯s Essence. Leon first has to create a believable ecosystem, which will be hard since it is a waste of potential in his mind to let small monsters populate his Dungeon to just let them serve as preys to his more powerful monsters, on his Dungeon¡¯s entrance. ¡°Since the Antkins will be the first enemy the Adventurers will meet, I can¡¯t make the Dungeon¡¯s entrance become a tundra or a volcano. I have to make the entrance like a forest.¡± Leonhardt selected the most beautiful and enormous trees he had available to him, and adorned his entire Dungeon until the area where the Antkins¡¯ nest is with various minor plants that were compatible in appearance to the trees he had chosen. He started with plants and trees that had hues similar to the vegetation outside of his Dungeon to his decoration still not seem out of place yet. Not forgetting about selecting the option in the Dungeon¡¯s list to his plants be extremely resistant to fire, it would amount to nothing if a crazy fire mage that doesn¡¯t know about a basic common sense of not starting fires in caves came to his Dungeon and destroyed all his work, after all. It cost him more Mana than normal to do this though. Leon used beeches as the first trees and used moss to cover the stalagmites and stalactites, all this to prepare the viewer to the majestic Dragonblood trees that despite their fearsome name which is a reference to a mythological beast thanks to its dark red resin, it is just a normal tree that can live for more than five hundred years and until reaching twelve meters of height. The Gift explained to him all the peculiarities of the Dragonblood trees, how they were big and had upturned, densely packed crowns with the shape of uprightly held umbrellas. After the entrance where the beeches are, Leonhardt had to increase the roof¡¯s height to the Dragonblood trees fit in his Dungeon. The final result was satisfactory, making the Dungeon have a mixture of an air of a deep and dense rainforest and a jungle with all the moss. If Leon had access to Law Runes he could create rain inside of his Dungeon to make the atmosphere seem more like a proper jungle and rainforest. Now just for an inside joke he has with his father of how the nobles nowadays act and to prepare the Dungeon¡¯s viewers to the change in hue because he wants to make the Antkins¡¯ nest become red, Leonhardt put flamboyant trees that have green-red leaves in the area next to the Antkins¡¯ nest that is almost at the middle of the previous Dungeon. ¡°This area is lacking something besides rain and illumination,¡± Leonhardt said observing his work, it is also lacking a mesmerizing object full of beauty surrounding the area but I can¡¯t think of anything that won¡¯t make me use Lord Second¡¯s Essence. ¡°... It is life.¡± Everything is too silent, you can¡¯t even hear the rustling of leaves since there isn¡¯t a strong air circulation here. Leonhardt sighed in resignation and used a combination of [Possession] and [Taming] in various smalls animals that would be in a forest with the help of a nearby Antkin to carefully knock out the animals, and transform them in Dungeon Monsters. ¡°It would be so much easy to my mana¡¯s reserve if I hadn¡¯t chased away those animals in the lake.¡± The difference from those Dungeon Monsters from his others was that he ordered them to never attack someone and just make noises outside of the Adventurers'' attack range. He isn¡¯t thinking of evolving any of them, they are just the background sound of his Dungeon. ¡°Can you guys momentarily leave? I am thinking of decorating this area.¡± Leon said to the Antkins that were guarding the entrance to the Antkins¡¯ nest beneath the ground. If anyone looks from far away, they would never believe a tiny red hole on the cave''s corner is where the Antkins come from. The Antkins can easily expand and contract that hole whenever they need to leave their nest to protect the Dungeon and even make surprise attacks. Leonhardt thought at first to improve the inside of the Antkins¡¯ nest, but when he took a look once again at nature¡¯s complexity and how they made the tunnels beneath the ground without his instructions. He decided against interfering even more with nature¡¯s beauty that was able to create this environment. I am sure Lisa will understand my decision. He still feels guilty by chasing away the poor animals living inside of the cave. ¡°Acacia is technically yellow and I think she will one day become a big tree, so I can¡¯t already go with a volcano¡¯s appearance in this area since she is close to here. But I can still make this area red because yellow is the intersection of green and red in the color wheel.¡± Leonhardt just put more and more flamboyant trees to him always have a laugh when near the Antkins¡¯ nest and made this area into another forest but less dense, as if there was a path opening in the middle to show the way to Acacia¡¯s region. Later with Law Runes of illumination he will make this place more impressive, if not, it would become too much alike the Dungeon¡¯s entrance. ¡°Acacia, can you cover this whole area with acacia flowers but still letting a path in the middle without any flowers?¡± Leon asked as soon as he arrived in the area that was the end of his Dungeon before completing the Beginner Dungeon Quest. He could make this by himself, but since this is Acacia¡¯s area he wants to give her the leadership. ¡°Master, it is easy to me do so. But why do you want to me make this area more ¡®tolerable¡¯? By what I remember you aren¡¯t too keen to adorn anything in the Dungeon.¡± Acacia with the sleeping squirrel above her head said after ending the Skill training she was doing with her flowers. ¡°And I would like to inform you I noticed several plants¡¯ roots suddenly appearing in the Dungeon, it could be an enemy¡¯s attack, most likely an earth mage.¡± ¡°I had made a bet with Lisa that I would decorate the Dungeon, so I planted trees and now want to make a path in this area if an Adventurer one day reach your area. And if this area is full of acacias, it should be easier to you fight since you can move yourself if there are more acacias flowers to you ¡®connect¡¯ your body to, right?¡± ¡°Master, thank you for your consideration. Just give me a moment to gather my mana to cover this area with acacias flowers, I still haven¡¯t done it because I thought you wouldn¡¯t like of me tampering the Dungeon without your permission.¡± Acacia obeyed Leonhardt and in five minutes the whole area where she lives until the lake¡¯s area became an acacias¡¯ flower field. The striking bright yellow flowers will look even more beautiful when Leonhardt arrange a Law Rune to illuminate them. ¡°The final barrier to my reward,¡± Leonhardt said seeing the crystal lake, the final area of his first floor, which he intends to put gems under water and strong illumination Law Runes to make the lake shine in different colors if the notification that appeared to him one second ago didn¡¯t exist.Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon. [Intruders detected!] [You earn 550 DP for the invasion.] It was supposed to Leonhard be happy with this invasion since it means he only needs more 80 DP to buy the permission to use traps, but he learned the DP given rate is based on the strength of his intruders, meaning the force that is attacking his Dungeon is at least twice strong as Tuan that was able to easily kill Kleber if not distracted or burdened with dead weights like greenhorns. ¡°Before panicking I need to see their basic status.¡± Leonhardt hid his Dungeon Master¡¯s body on the lake and went to his Dungeon Core¡¯s body to spy on his enemies while relaying orders to his monsters prepare themselves for a tough battle. There were three intruders wearing the same black clothes and masks, two men and a woman. [Name]: Grigor ??? The fear of death completely disappeared from his mind even though one of them was so powerful that was killing his Antkins with one swipe of his sword. ¡°Grigor, you are so amazing! You just balanced your sword and those disgusting monsters literally became ashes. I am so envious of you, I would kill for become strong as you.¡± Rachel said with her most high-pitched girly voice while searching for an opportunity of stabbing Grigor with the Gift¡¯s Usurper without Ogden, her father¡¯s weak-willed counselor, interrupting her just because the Invaders need the naive aspirant to be Hero not die to make him a puppet to be controlled as soon as he receives the Hero¡¯s mantle. ¡°No, I still have a long way to go to become amazing like my mentor is,¡± Grigor said embarrassed, turning off his fire sword that has fire crystals embed on it to mimic Charles¡¯ fighting style. ¡°What I find amazing is these trees, they didn¡¯t burn at all even though some fire sparks reached them and they are so big and weirdly looking, they look like upturned umbrellas.¡± Ogden silently used air magic to them not become suffocated because of the crazy otherworlder boy using fire in a space like a cave, not mattering if said cave is looking more like a jungle than a normal cave. The old man wondered in his head the reason to the past ¡®unnamed¡¯ Dungeon abruptly receive a name and an ecosystem. Leonhardt watching all this couldn¡¯t stop from laughing, seeing Rachel deceiving someone is always so funny, she is the worst actress I already saw in my life, he is the person that most knows about Rachel in the entire world, no even her mother knows that her real daughter died when she was only three years old after being struck by lightning and a stray soul from a distant planet took control of her body. And that she is a lesbian too ashamed of her own sexual orientation to be true to herself even though she always looked with lustful eyes at Leonhardt¡¯s mother. So Leonhardt knows exactly what Rachel is feeling and thinking when she says ¡®envious¡¯ and ¡®kill¡¯ to the adolescent masked man, ¡®he will die today, no matter what I have to do for it happen¡¯, that is Rachel thoughts at this moment and Leon can guess how she will kill the man named Grigor. She is most likely to use the present, Gift¡¯s Usurper, he gave her to help him make his paintings become famous worldwide with her Royal Authority and also to put a leash on the dangerous existence know as ¡®Rachel Jotand¡¯ thanks to the Eternal Soul Contract she had to sign to receive the Primal Artifact, as she needed the dagger to ¡®accidentally¡¯ kill the concept of ¡®beauty¡¯ and ¡®violet eyes¡¯ in her sister¡¯s body to her survive through the Royal Selection, a contest that chooses who will be the only Royal Princess. The Jotand¡¯s royalty can be quite brutal when choosing their heirs. Rachel isn¡¯t powerful or smart as she thinks she is, but Leonhardt could see behind her lustful eyes a strong ambition burning inside of her since he was an eight-year-old child that saw a three-year-old baby being electrocuted and talking in a strange language just after it without a single injury. That ambition can drive her to do things normally impossible and even one day destroy the world, Leonhardt was certain of that so to protect himself and his family he made everything possible to mark inside of her head an intrinsic fear of him. A foolish decision made thanks to his mother¡¯s disgusting training that didn¡¯t work as he expected because of the adult mind of Rachel which only found amusing his tactics, in the end, all he did was petty pranks of a child... Or at least it was supposed to be until Leon showed her Lord Second¡¯s paintings and made her addicted them, only showing to her more paintings after she telling him all her secrets, likes, dislikes and so on. After recovering of her addiction thanks to a ¡®remove memory¡¯ spell Leonhardt¡¯s mother created and sold scrolls to all the ones addicted to his paintings to initiate a vicious cycle of recovery and addiction, Rachel¡¯s fear of him finally got engraved in her soul. He knew everything about her and could control her by only showing one image, no wonder she after receiving the iridescent dagger never showed her face to him or visited his mansion to see his mother anymore. Leonhardt couldn¡¯t understand though why Ogden (not exist too many old Half-Humans named Ogden), the King¡¯s Counselor, is doing here in his Dungeon despite being retired and incapable of helping too much in a fight with his low-grade air magic, he even has a scary sounding title ¡®The One that Betrayed the World¡¯ now, what happened to him? *Hey, stupid Dungeon! What will we do? From here on Acacia¡¯s lair, I can feel an overbearing Mana coming in our direction. At this rate they will kill all the Antkins.* Dhasharan called Leon while trying to hide its squirrel friend. ¡°Put your mind at ease, we can easily stop this intruder that doesn¡¯t know how to properly wield a sword or Qi. Just get in position with Kleber at the Antkins¡¯ nest, I am going too after telling all the monsters to hid deep on the Antkins¡¯ nest or in the lake.¡± Leonhardt said going back to his Dungeon Master¡¯s body after writing a note to Rachel on the Dungeon¡¯s ground at her front. She can¡¯t betray or hurt me even if my existence be revealed anyways, she is the most trusted ally you can ask for when fighting against overpowered enemies. *What?! You by yourself-* Leon cut Dhasha¡¯s words to pass his orders to all his monsters. ¡°Don¡¯t attack the intruders anymore, go hide inside of the Antkins¡¯ nest or in the lake if you are near that place. Acacia, make sure to protect the good-for-nothing squirrel and not let it wander. And I want Dhasharan, Kleber and a spear and small shield that the currently strongest Antkins Workers are using in the area above the Antkins¡¯ nest before I arrive there.¡± Leon calmly left the lake with a plan already made in his head to ¡®defeat¡¯ the false user of his father¡¯s fighting style. ¡°I won¡¯t accept complaints, in this fight we don¡¯t need to kill the strongest enemy. A traitor I implanted in their group will do that job for us. Don¡¯t worry, just go with the flow and everything will work just fine. Trust me, your Master.¡± Leonhardt said with a predatory grin.
Dear Rachel, you can¡¯t ever escape of me whilst that dagger accepts you as its user and you have a contract made by Lord Second himself on your soul, even if you have a strange Class named [Novice Record Keeper] this won¡¯t ever change with me dead or not. We will meet in an area with flamboyant trees and I will help you get rid of the adolescent man that you want so much to kill. I leave what to do with that old man to you. -Yours Sincerely and With Love of the ¡®Lovely Painting Monster¡¯ Leonhardt Udalth VI P.S. Did you finally find a girlfriend while I was away on my trip to discover the world? If not, I know a nice girl that you will love to make out and she is surprisingly single. *Please insert here a smiley face* Rachel¡¯s face became more pale and white than ever, her frightened big violet eyes tried to search for a hint for what she was seeing being only an illusion but no matter what she did, her Class told her always the same while reading these words on a clean spot on the forest Dungeon. This a Record from Leonhardt Udalth and he is alive here. Finally processing that information, Rachel wanted to scream in fear and pure hatred but a sting coming from her Primal Artifact silenced her before she could screw up with her own plans. The jagged dagger wants to kill a concept today and it won¡¯t let even its user get in the way of its objective. Why?! Why?... I thought would be free from that man that is the devil in person, but he escaped from a terminal illness that no even the medicine of my original world could cure. I just waited for the invasion of the Invaders to happen to make sure he would be dead when I began my ascension to my ¡®happy ending¡¯. Just now that I was finally free without a single person alive that has suspicions of me or know my secrets, he appears to haunt my life once again. Hateable monster. ¡°R-Rachel, what¡¯s wrong? You are just standing there spacing out, could be you got scared as we advance in the Dungeon?¡± Grigor hesitantly asked. ¡°I am here to protect you, didn¡¯t you say you wanted to see a real fight before going to the easy Dungeon? By what my mentor told me we should be near an area where a Named Monster will appear and I will quickly kill it to take you back to the city.¡± Hearing the wimpy voice of the greedy Grigor that feigns to be innocent while looking at her body¡¯s curves, Rachel¡¯s hatred flared and become more directed at Grigor, if you didn¡¯t exist I would already be the [Heroine] and never would have to discover Leonhardt is alive!, the Gift¡¯s Usurper hurt her so badly that Rachel replied in a stone-like voice without any emotions whatsoever. ¡°Thank you for worrying about me, but I am fine. Let¡¯s continue on our way, I am certain you will protect no matter what happens, right?¡± She walked at the group¡¯s front without pretending to be scared of the Dungeon¡¯s bad illumination anymore. ¡°Yeah¡ I will.¡± Grigor followed Rachel in tow with Ogden, not understanding Rachel¡¯s mood shift. A shame he lacked the courage to touch Rachel¡¯s breasts in ¡®accident¡¯ when she was spacing out, not that it really mattered. Soon enough the ¡®boobacious¡¯ adult woman will be falling over him when he kills a strong Monster at her front if what he read in the fictions of the genre ¡®Wuxia and Harem¡¯ was right. Who I hated most in my life? My mother. I let her die at the Aldar Rof for revenge. Now, who is currently the person I most hate and will disturb my plan, Leo or Grigor?.... The answer is Grigor. That prick must die. No matter what. Even if I have to make a deal with the devil himself once again, I already did it one time to survive against that whore called ¡®my sister¡¯, so what is the harm of making another deal? Leo, I will be counting on you to incapacitate Grigor. We both know we can''t betray each other because of the Gift¡¯s Usurper, so I will trust you albeit not knowing how a weakling like you will hurt Grigor, for now. Rachel thought as she arrived at the area full of flamboyant trees and saw a mighty ebony ant monster standing there together with a black fox big as a bear staring at her with its red eyes radiating azure lightning. ¡°So they are probably all the Named Monsters of this Dungeon, I was already wondering where the moniker of ¡®hard Dungeon¡¯ came from with all those weak monsters.¡± Grigor entered into Charles¡¯s stance holding his fire sword with only one hand while hiding his left hand behind his back. ¡°Come at me, Monsters. I will show to you how benevolent I am and let you have the first move.¡± A slow clapping sound resounded through the room as a man in his thirties at most with an untended beard and using a wet black robe appeared from behind the Monsters. ¡°What a laughable spectacle, I know now why the fighting style you are using is so false and badly taught. My father really didn¡¯t like you and most likely sent you to die here.¡± Leonhardt said eying the black spear and small shield at Kleber¡¯s side. ¡°How is he doing? Was he capable of impeding my mother of killing any of my slaves?¡± ¡°Who are you?! Don¡¯t look down upon my mentor-¡± ¡°He is Leonhardt, Charles¡¯ son.¡± Rachel said, interrupting Grigor and taking care to observe Ogden¡¯s reaction by the reveal of Leon¡¯s revival, hmm¡ just a slight twitch in his body, Leo must not be important in the Invaders¡¯ plans and Ogden¡¯s relationship with Leo was minimal as the old man never saw Leo¡¯s paintings. ¡°Charles is doing fine, he has the entire country in his hands now, after all. And Aleria was capable of impeding herself of killing your slaves, she only killed some coward nobles she met to de-stress.¡± She replied to Leonhardt. Grigor yelled in surprise. ¡°Didn¡¯t mentor¡¯s son die in the Aldar Rof? How he is now alive and so close to those Monsters without being attacked?¡± ¡°If I was you, I would pay more attention to our enemies than to these small details.¡± Rachel brought from under her raiment two daggers, a normal one, and the Gift¡¯s Usurper. ¡°Grigor, I know a spell that will help us flee if the situation becomes too dangerous, but it takes me ten minutes to activate it. I need you to completely defeat our enemies or fight with them for at least the time needed to activate the Spell.¡± She began to chant a variation of her spell that erased the Records of the mute maid while taking care to Leonhardt understand her message as she meaningfully raised the Gift¡¯s Usurper. ¡°Leave it to me! I will defeat them before you even need to use that spell.¡± Grigor said with excitement by knowing Rachel was ¡®worried¡¯ about his well being. ¡°Old man, don¡¯t get involved. I can¡¯t let you get hurt before you met your granddaughter.¡± Grigor cited the false story Ogden gave him and how Ogden¡¯s granddaughter was beautiful and single. ¡°Did you finish of making your strategy? Because I finished mine.¡± Leonhardt said and turned to Kleber that began to wield the spear and small shield despite the Antkin being better at unarmed combat. ¡°Do you trust in me? If I tell you to give me your body, what would you do?¡± *My Lord, my trust in tho- you is unshakeable. If you want my body, I will gladly give it to you.* Kleber said without hesitation. ¡°What a good child. You are the cutest monster I have in my Dungeon.¡± Bright lines of light began to appear from Leonhardt¡¯s body and entangle Kleber¡¯s body. ¡°Then I will take your body without any reservation. [Possession]!¡± Leonhardt¡¯s Dungeon Master body fell down in the ground without a soul and he made Kleber¡¯s soul go to the ¡®backseat¡¯ to let him control the Antkin¡¯s body without feeling disturbed by having extra members and compound eyes. ¡°This muscles, power and the hot feeling under me, with all these things I can now understand why you act so much based on instincts.¡± Leonhardt in Kleber¡¯s body said, but with the exception of his monsters nobody understood him, only grunts let out his mouth. ¡°Dhasharan, use your lightning in this spear.¡± *Are you sure? I can¡¯t control well it, even if it is Kleber¡¯s body you will still fell a good amount of pain.* Dhasharan said while regulating its lightning¡¯s Skills. ¡°What? Are you worried about me? You? Who are you and what you did to my real monster?¡± Leonhardt threateningly pointed his spear at Dhasha. *Shut up!* Dhasharan let its hatred flood into its body and attacked Leon with a [Lightning Surge], a constant flow of azure lightning¡¯s energy. [You are gravely wounded.] Leonhardt felt the electricity flowing through ¡®his¡¯ body and constantly tearing ¡®his¡¯ body. He concentrated on the Style he is mimicking to control the electricity and make it go to the spearhead. ¡°My father¡¯s fighting style can be strong, even if it is a fake one and it is in the hands of someone unworthy. But can it handle the Style of the strongest woman in the Multiverses, Lord Second¡¯s wife?¡± Leonhardt¡¯s four legs quivered at a noticeable rate and he aimed his spear at Grigor¡¯s head whilst he used ¡®his¡¯ left arm to put the small shield across ¡®his¡¯ chest. ¡°Stolen Style: Bolt.¡± [Error!] [The Gift can¡¯t analyze what is happening¡ searching in the database for a similar occurrence¡] [Found. This is Laylasoderscim¡¯s Style. The Second Destroyer¡¯s wife.] The lightning condensed on the spearhead and instantly exploded with Leonhardt¡¯s body being propelled, making him appear without noticing beyond the location where Grigor was, accidentally cutting Ogden¡¯s left arm with his lightning spear, ah, I messed up... ¡°My arm!¡± Ogden cried and fled from the Dungeon using his air magic. Leonhardt¡¯s four legs gave an extra power he didn¡¯t expect, slightly altering the trajectory of his thrust. ¡°What a shame, I thought I had total control of this body but it seemed I was wrong. Leastwise my Skill upped with this knowledge. I just need to make some modifications and I will be fine.¡± [Level Up! Possession is now Lvl 2.] ¡°Dhasharan bring back the one that fled, I will be fine by myself,¡± Leon said as he perceived Grigor staring at him with widened eyes not believing what happened and how the otherworldly boy was lucky of surviving unscathed the surprise attack at a false light speed. ¡°It was my first move, a shame it didn¡¯t kill you,¡± Leonhardt said, still not noticing his opponent is only hearing grunts. ¡°Let¡¯s begin our bout. I never had a chance to have a proper fight with exception of the times I trained in my ancestors'' dreams.¡± Chapter 10: Guess Who Died Today? ¡°I won¡¯t let you kill the old man!¡± Grigor shouted as he recovered from his bewildered state, he still can¡¯t understand what is happening with the ebony armored ant monster that received an attack from its comrade to hold a spear with lightning condensed on the spearhead, and its mana suddenly increasing by ten times after the bright lines coming from Charles¡¯ son touched it. ¡°Fire Slash.¡± He yelled an unoriginal technique name that Charles gave him to pass shame when fighting. Grigor¡¯s fire sword sizzled up and from it came a vertical pillar of fire that chased after the lightning fox¡¯s figure that got past him when he was distracted. Leonhardt didn¡¯t need to use his shield to protect Dhasharan as the horned fox using its horn felt the bulk of Mana coming after it even before Grigor finished of yelling the technique¡¯s embarrassing name and easily evaded it by leaping with lightning gathered on its paws. Calmly chasing after Ogden with its high speed and taking a good time to enjoy its first hunt in a while. ¡°Come b-¡± Grigor tried to run after the fox, but a crackling noise he heard coming at him whilst he was occupied with the fox made him immediately raise his sword in defense, forsaking the chance to save Ogden. If only he was more courageous and ignored the attack coming at him to save at any cost the old man, this situation could be easily resolved. Another lightning thrust came aiming at his face, however, as he raised his sword to protect himself once again the strike only made him sprang back to his original position whilst making his right hand become red because of the friction and strength he felt of the spear¡¯s strike. Fortunately, his sword was of high quality and didn¡¯t bend with the strike or let the electricity flow through the sword to attack his body. ¡°As expected you are strong and have good reflexes, it is impossible to me kill you even using Kleber¡¯s body, my only chance was with a surprise attack but I failed. Luckily you are an amateur even more than I am in the art of using weapons. How much time have you been training?¡± Leonhardt advanced at Grigor and began an onslaught on the masked boy, punctuating questions as each of his stabs was met with badly placed defenses of Grigor. ¡°One year? One month? One week? Or even one day and you were able to reach this threshold of power without any fighting experience or determination to sacrifice yourself whatsoever?¡± The Core-Master continued, still not noticing he is talking to no one with only grunts coming out from ¡®his¡¯ mouth since the one, Rachel, that could maybe point that was with her eyes closed and concentrated in her Spell. ¡°What¡¯s wrong, can¡¯t you answer me?¡± Although useless right now, Leonhardt¡¯s objective was to taunt the masked boy to commit amateur mistakes and then use a feint to take Grigor out of surprise. Leonhardt knew if he let Grigor have space to breath or recompose himself, this fight would be over as Grigor is extremely ¡®powerful¡¯ so he counted on the stamina of his Antkin¡¯s body and just constantly attacked while mixing some feints in his attacks to put some fear on Grigor. Even when the masked boy counter attacked as Leonhardt committed some mistakes since the Core-Master isn¡¯t an expert in using Kleber¡¯s body or perfect in mimicking Laylasodercim¡¯s Style, he was able to evade the powerful slashes of fire, pillars of fire, and even fireballs by just predicting Grigor¡¯s movements based on the his father¡¯s way of fighting. Time passed with Leonhardt in a stalemate with Grigor, it should be logically impossible to this happen since Grigor is supposed to be twice as strong as Tuan. The dark-skinned Elf, for example, could suffer at first when battling Leonhardt in Kleber¡¯s body, but he would quickly adapt himself and use Qi to defeat Leonhardt in five attacks at most. However, in the end, fights aren¡¯t just about power. And this was proven when Rachel shouted. ¡°I am ready, incapacitate him!¡± She ran at the location where Leonhardt and Grigor were fighting, holding in her hands the Gift¡¯s Usurper and a steel dagger while black chains appeared from her shadow despite the Dungeon not having a good illumination. Grigor became overjoyed in knowing the way to ¡®win¡¯ against the ant monster appeared, he was tired of having all his attacks being made useless. A shame he dropped down his guard in his happiness and Leonhardt wasn''t a man that would let such good opportunity flee from him. Leonhardt used a curt and small version of ¡®Bolt¡¯, just slightly quivering his legs before bashing his small shield at Grigor¡¯s face, destroying the mask of Hero¡¯s apprentice and revealing his red hair and a broken nose. As Grigor was falling to the ground stunned, Rachel appeared from behind him and stabbed the Gift¡¯s Usurper and steel dagger at Grigor, literally backstabbing him. Grigor looked with disbelief and even spilling tears at Rachel as the shadow chains bound his body and the Gift¡¯s Usurper began to work with notifications surging in Rachel¡¯s vision. Leon spun his spear and with the overbearing strength of an Antkin, he cut off Grigor¡¯s head in only one slash.Enjoying this book? Seek out the original to ensure the author gets credit. Grigor¡¯s soul left his body and before the ever-present Soulkeeper¡¯s hand that is above Leonhardt could grab it, Rachel¡¯s chains picked it and brought it back to Grigor¡¯s body. As Mana entered their very existence, the chains became mouths that devoured Grigor¡¯s body and Records. ¡°Split, [Record Eraser].¡± Before all Grigor¡¯s Records entered into Rachel, she let one small chain separate from her and enter Leonhardt¡¯s Dungeon Master body. Giving him a small part of Grigor¡¯s Records as part of the payment of helping her when he goes back to his body. Which he immediately did when he killed Grigor and made Kleber get away from Rachel, to the Antkin not attack her. How about you tell me what are your plans now that you have killed Grigor.¡± Leonhardt said, raising his wet body up. Rachel clicked her tongue at the question, knowing she had to answer him if she wants to continue with the ownership of the Primal Artifact that was currently praising her for the Concept it ate and usurped. ¡°Nothing in special. I am now the [Heroine] instead of Grigor and your father will have to someday continue my training. I will stay in Bayhelm for a while to train in the other Dungeon and then leave to search a way to kill the Invaders and maybe even the Ex-Phantasmas. I and your father don¡¯t trust too much in that bunch.¡± ¡°How will people react by knowing-¡± ¡°That I killed Grigor or that I became the [Heroine]?¡± She completed Leonhardt¡¯s words with a smirk unseen by Leonhardt because of the mask. ¡°Leo, because of my Spell only I and you know that Grigor existed. And my Spell made everyone else think I always have been the [Heroine], even your father and the Ex-Phantasmas.¡± ¡°Oh¡ interesting power to have.¡± Leonhardt said wondering if it was that easy to manipulate the memories of beings so far away from both in distance and power. ¡°Can you now care to explain how you are still alive and can control those Monsters?¡± ¡°Yes, it will be a long story. But I will explain to you. It all began when I¡¡±
Meanwhile Leonhardt was fighting Grigor, Dhasharan was exhilarated. This is was the first hunt it had in days, the Elf that uses Qi always flee using a strange device and it hadn¡¯t killed anything since the first day the Dungeon was discovered. Too much busy playing with its only friend. Dhasharan can easily reach and already kill the old man at its front that lost its mask on a false attack Dhasharan made. But it won¡¯t do that, it will slowly grind and crush the old man¡¯s hope and determination. For example, the face the old man made when Dhasharan left the Dungeon to chase after him was priceless. This is so fun- But as always there will be someone to interrupt with its joy, by the stupid Dungeon¡¯s words, ¡®a killjoy¡¯. Dhasharan instincts kicked in and it immediately stopped moving in the forest outside of the Dungeon. Its horn was incapable of measuring the newcomer¡¯s Mana, but it knew its opponent was beyond anything it had already sensed. This proved to be the correct answer as a gigantic purple hole appeared between Dhasharan and Ogden, and from the hole came tentacles that literally shattered Ogden¡¯s body as if his body was made of glass. The old man still wasn¡¯t dead as he struggled and screamed on the ground even without his shattered members below his head and neck. A black high heel appeared from a small purple hole above Ogden¡¯s head and shattered it in the same way the tentacles did earlier. ¡°Stop screaming, my ears are still sensible in this new form.¡± A red-haired woman appeared from the portal while grumbling. ¡°Old man, why did you come searching for me? If you hadn¡¯t done that I could have saved you, now it is certain that [Hero] and [Antagonist] know you are the traitor, principally the [Antagonist] that woman has frightening instincts, let¡¯s just hope they don¡¯t know you came here to Bayhelm. If not, I will need to flee from here.¡± *You¡ you are?* Dhasharan said in confusion, feeling a primal fear from the entity at its front, its legs buckling. Why? Am I feeling fear? Stop¡ I don¡¯t want to feel this. But why she seems so familiar? ¡°Huh¡? Are you still alive and unscathed?¡± Claudia said to Dhasharan. ¡°What a surprise, you even have a Monster Core. So the Dungeon here is that advanced to have DP enough to waste on the upgrade of Monster Cores.¡± Claudia turned around and was going to leave as she doesn¡¯t want to kill the Monster at her front and expose all her tricks to the Dungeon near here, since she doesn¡¯t know if this monster is a Named Monster or Boss Monster that can retain its memories after being resurrected. Suddenly, memories repressed into Dhasharan¡¯s mind were activated and it immediately stopped trembling, fear was completely devoured by the hatred and berserker''s nature that was flooding inside of it. It finally perceived why she seemed familiar with how her mana was impossible to be measured and the purple holes she could conjure. *You are one of those bastards that created me!* Dhasharan could now perfectly remember the sealed memories of it when it was conjured on a purple tube by beings similar to Claudia. It remembered the horror and humiliation it had to receive as the tentacled beings removed its sex and made it into an existence that only serves as a Monster that will spawn in worlds which receive the Gift. Its lightning mage¡¯s powers and berserker¡¯s powers entered into synergy for the first time as it howled with its eyes becoming even redder and its size growing while azure lightning couldn¡¯t stop of being blasting out from its body, destroying the vegetation around it and even putting fire on some far away trees from the forest outside of the Dungeon. ¡°Hmm¡ I ¡®think¡¯ you are a Named Monster to be capable of doing this.¡± Claudia evaded the lightning and prepared her Purple Portal to leave this location, she really can¡¯t take this fox seriously or the Dungeon will for sure make traps specifically for her in the same way that Legendary Dungeon did to her in her second Dungeon Dive. ¡°I don¡¯t know what I did to infuriate you, but let¡¯s calm down. If you continue to cause this amount of commotion, Adventurers of Bayhelm will come here-¡± Dhasharan is a Monster, there is no way it could understand what Claudia is implicating and it wouldn¡¯t want to understand either even if it could do so. Now Dhasharan has only thought going through its head, and that is to ¡®Kill¡¯. *[Lightning Purge]!* Embedding its body with lightning and advancing with lightning concentrated on its enormous fangs, Dhasharan was able of taking off Claudia¡¯s right arm as she was distracted gathering energy to make her Purple Portal. ¡°Wow, calm down, buddy. Nowadays everyone is so rushed to start a fight, where did the good times of intense monologuing together with lengthy discussion before fighting went?¡± Claudia said without feeling pain as she reconstructed without problems her lost arm and finally finished gathering energy to call the Purple Portal. ¡°Goodbye, ill-tempered fox.¡± Claudia disappeared in one of her purple holes as Dhasharan missed its attack. *Come back here! I won¡¯t rest until every single one of your Race is eradicated!* It roared in frustration. Before the Adventurers could reach Dhasharan, Leonhardt had finished telling his story to Rachel and ordered Dhasha to come back to the Dungeon. Leonhardt was momentarily scared what Dhasharan would do with its current state of mind, but he was smart enough to send the squirrel, Dhasha¡¯s only friend, to fetch Dhasharan to the fox monster not cause havoc. ¡°This squirrel has some many uses, I really need to put a name on it. I don¡¯t think I am capable of fully controlling Dhasharan when it goes berserker.¡± Leon said as he perceived how the Dhasharan instantly calmed down when it saw the squirrel and let the impertinent squirrel climb on it back after deactivating its lightning. Update about chapters So... I''m not dead... yet I, unfortunately, broke the promise of one chapter a month. I don''t have excuses for that and I won''t ask for someone to pardon me. Life has been busy and it will become even busier in the next month. I don''t know when I will post regular chapter again, but I will probably release a short filler chapter and I have been editing some chapters when bored in the intervals of my first story I wrote in my life to not forget how to write, so maybe if I feel (Stupid) I will release them.Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon. ... Probably not. I thought for a long time and I really needed to warn you guys about this, sorry for taking so long. So this is my suggestion, just become a follower of this story and come back when I finish book two in chapter like 50. So then you will be able to binge read this. Bye, good reading in other stories. Maybe next week I will release the filler. I will have a holiday next week, after all. Interlude 2: Problems Being Gradually Resolved Aeglisa was enjoying her growth in power while annihilating some middle-grade ¡®Invaders¡¯ that were hiding from her ¡®near¡¯ a black hole and a field of asteroids, I must be careful to not accidentally use the true name of the ¡®Invaders¡¯ at Leo¡¯s front and cause a disaster, names are imbued of power, after all. ¡°I can directly feel my Patron¡¯s powers and Leo¡¯s evolution as a Dungeon through my bones, as this rate it wouldn¡¯t be long before he accepts one of my ¡®aspects¡¯ on his Title and I Rank Up enough to dominate the annoying Council,¡± Lisa said while dismembering an Invader¡¯s tentacles, and using their weakness or Bane, as the Patrons of the East Guard say, to kill them without permitting them to reincarnate. Unfortunately, the Soulkeeper is impartial and reincarnate even the Invaders if their souls go to her location. Only if her husband was still ¡®alive¡¯, the Ex-Phantasmas wouldn¡¯t have to worry too much about it as her husband would understand the necessity of killing once for all the Invaders. ¡°Lisa?¡± Leonhardt¡¯s voice sounded inside of her head when she finished her day job and was going back to her house to make some experimentations with a new Race of monsters discovered in the field of asteroids she was fighting earlier. ¡°Yes, Leo?¡± Lisa said, mentally cursing at the inconvenience of not having the Gift to facilitate their conversations. Buf if she had the Gift, it would have made impossible for her to become a Patron or killing the Invaders. ¡°Oh, it worked. I was worried about how would I exactly call you when you said I had just to think about you. Anyways, can you come here? I have finished decorating the Dungeon and I want you to see it.¡± ¡°I am going in a moment, let me just pick the scroll that will permit you to control the spy. I didn¡¯t think you would finish so quickly, so I let it on my house.¡± ¡°Okay. And it makes happy how you trust in me to already think I made a good job in the Dungeon.¡± Aeglisa could have given a smartphone to Leonhardt to make their conversations easier and less intrusive, the feeling of having another voice in your head isn¡¯t that good, but she decided against it because she discovered how the primal thought pattern of Leonhardt works. He can do anything boring to him if he has a good enough compensation, so I need to have an ample list of rewards I can give him for completing bets I make with him. She quickly finished the rest of the Invaders and made a portable portal to her house appear with her tablet, going through it she found herself on the throne room of an old-fashioned blue castle. It was her Royal Family¡¯s castle before she made herself a Patron with her own powers. ¡°Qu-¡± Lisa heard one of her servants accidentally calling her of her past title, but she silenced the noises in the room just like the Herald Ex-Phantasma did when he called the Dungeon Cores and Dungeon Masters. She strode through the long and complicated halls until she arrived at her brother¡¯s room where she let the scroll to him study it and maybe learn something from it. ¡°Brother, it¡¯s me. Can you open it? I need a scroll I let with you.¡± Lisa said. ¡°Come in.¡± Her brother, the current King of all the ¡®mortals¡¯ Ex-Phantasmas, said. ¡°Brother, did you not make that brat you call of a son, Drauq, clean all this?¡± Lisa said after entering the room and noticing everything was out of place in the ever-blue bedroom. ¡°That boy has more pressing matters to deal in D6C6S3 than cleaning my bedroom, a shame I can¡¯t ask for a maid to clean all this because of all my secret documents here.¡± The king said laughing. He is the man that is in the throne for more years than he can count in his mortal hand that only had three fingers, sacrificing his own name and patches of his prideful blue skin to prolong his longevity until his son become strong enough to substitute him as the King of all the mortals Ex-Phantasmas. Lisa went through all the secret documents without a problem and found the spy¡¯s scroll behind one that talked about a zombie invasion in a parallel world. ¡°Goodbye, Brother. It was good to see you, sorry for only giving this scroll to you some hours ago and already picking it back.¡± She turned to leave the room. ¡°Wait, Lisa. Do you really need to leave now? It was a long time ago since we had a good siblings talk, I know you are more important than the King now. But I am asking this as your brother.¡± The King said with a forlorn expression on his aged eyes and face, all the dignity of a King left him to have a chance to talk with his sister. Lisa sighed and resigned. ¡°Later I will come here to talk with you. I just need to answer my Champion¡¯s callings first.¡± The King¡¯s face it up with joy. ¡°Then I will be waiting for you, your first Champion is important, you need to take good care of him.¡± ¡°Goodbye, Brother.¡± Lisa went to her room under the castle and prepared her hologram to go to D6C6S3 with the scroll as she herself can¡¯t go because of all the danger of causing more powerful Invaders to attack the planet. Lisa¡¯s room under the castle wasn¡¯t a place where she slept, it was the place where she kept all her experiments with [Blue Evolution] and [Pink Evolution]. There are innumerable cages and habitats here with everything she ever used her powers on. ¡°Found it.¡± She picked the ball that permits her hologram to be sent with the scroll to Leo¡¯s planet and activated it. The ball was a Legendary Item known as Ball of Dreams that permit almost any projection to carry items or exist in any part of the universe. ¡°Lisa, are you prepared to lose?¡± Leonhardt said as soon as Lisa¡¯s hologram appeared at the Dungeon¡¯s entrance where the moss and Dragonblood trees are. Lisa whistled seeing the magnificent trees being illuminated by what she thought Leo would take at least forty levels to have, light runes. ¡°So bright and pretty, never thought in my life I would say any of those two words to something created by you.¡± She jokingly said, also noticing the extra job Leonhardt did to cover the out of place stalagmites and stalactites with moss. The smaller animals¡¯ sounds also complement the experience, before, this place was too quiet. If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it. ¡°It¡¯s still too early to be so impressed, let¡¯s continue going deeper.¡± Alderam led the way to the Antkins¡¯ area. ¡°This place will even get better in the future when I learn to make water runes and make rain here. And I didn¡¯t show you because it¡¯s not technically part of my ¡®Dungeon¡¯, but I changed the place where I test [Blue Evolution] and I am thinking to profit with it later. For now, it is just an oddity. Later I will show you, the Dungeon¡¯s decoration is more important than that. ¡± Then Aeglisa passed through the area of the Antkins and flamboyant trees, praising Leo by his decision of letting the Antkins¡¯ nature work in their lair. Insect monsters really like of their nest in their own way. Lisa gradually perceived a path opening in the middle to an area full of bright yellow acacia flowers being illuminated by Law Runes, she felt as if she was once again walking on a carpet and being lead to her past throne. An enjoyable and nostalgic sensation indeed. ¡°I wonder what that little guy will become if evolved? Since it is so slothful.¡± Lisa saw the squirrel resting on the meditating Alraune together with the fox observing them with a smile. ¡°A mix of a bear with a squirrel or maybe something with a humanoid form?¡± ¡°I don¡¯t know, but I hope it becomes capable of fighting after becoming a Named Monster,¡± Leonhardt said. ¡°Why would you let it become a Named Monster? Isn¡¯t it by what you told me just a normal animal from D6C6S3?¡± Lisa looked more intensively at the squirrel, a shame she couldn¡¯t use the power of her eyes in this form to discover all its evolution potential. ¡°Because only it can completely control Dhasharan. I don¡¯t want it to die and my best monster suddenly destroying everything in its anger with its lightning.¡± ¡°So it is for necessity more than curiosity about how it will evolve?¡± Lisa sighed, feeling disappointed. And I thought I would see a rare animal, well¡ I¡¯m bound to see one when Leo finishes his [Blue Evolution] course. ¡°Sorry, Lisa. But this Dungeon¡¯s survival is more important any curiosity I can have.¡± Leonhardt prepared to show Lisa his final Dungeon¡¯s area. ¡°Are you prepared? This is what my monsters decided to call ¡®Gem Lake¡¯.¡± The lake at Lisa¡¯s front had innumerable small spots of lights that shined interchangeably between all rainbow colors, looking like it had gems hidden deep inside of it. And that wasn¡¯t the end of it, in the ceiling, there were the same sets of Light Runes shining in the same pattern so brightly that someone without a good eye would think they were actually reflecting the light from within the lake. Lisa for sure had already seen many things more beautiful than this, the vision far away from the ring of asteroids of a big planet or when her first monster born was one of the first things she thinks of when the subject is about the word ¡®beautiful¡¯. But this didn¡¯t lessen the beauty and impact of the scene made by her Champion. ¡°I can understand why your Monsters call this Gem Lake.¡± Lisa took the scroll and passed it to Leonhardt, feeling good that her conjecture of finding a way to fix the bad aspects of his Champion was true. However, I need to be careful to not spoil him. If not, he will become just like my nephews, slothful and ambitionless. Something similar to the old strategy of ¡®carrot and stick¡¯ should be good enough. ¡°Congratulations, Leon. You won our little bet and earned the right to have this scroll to control the spy.¡± ¡°Thank you, Lisa. How do I use the scroll?¡± Leonhardt toyed with the blue-pink scroll. ¡°Just open it and say the spy¡¯s name, and you will be able to control it without a problem,¡± Lisa answered, discreetly looking to the bone hand above Leonhardt that clenched itself when he received the scroll, should I tell him about it? The Herald didn¡¯t do it, so should be fine to me also not. But why did it got a reaction when he received the scroll? ¡°Lisa, now that I finished our bet, I want to ask you a few things, it is fine to do so?¡± Leonhardt placed the scroll on the Dungeon¡¯s storage. ¡°Yes, ask anything you want.¡± Is he going to ask for another hint in [Blue Evolution]? ¡°Doesn¡¯t the place where I get Dungeon upgrades becomes more and more lackluster as I advance? I mean, days ago I struggled to even make a normal ant and had to risk myself going out of the Dungeon just to get some acorns, but now my regeneration is so big and my Dungeon is famous enough that I don¡¯t even make anyone more go pick resources outside. Although I kept some to myself in case of emergency.¡± Lisa blankly stared at Leonhardt, not believing the words coming from his mouth. ¡°Of course, rewards like [Intermediary Monster Race¡¯s list], [Advanced Monster Race¡¯s list] or a [Named Monster Slot] are enticing, but the rest after that is useless. There is no point in gathering DP to get those upgrades. Do you get what I am saying?¡± ¡°So you are saying to me that rewards like [Holy Protection] or [Hero¡¯s Bane] which even Legendary Dungeons yearn are useless?¡± Lisa felt a headache coming to her way and even the monsters in the cages close to her real body felt her mood shift. If the Legendary Dungeons or others Ex-Phantasmas heard him say that, they would kill him for his arrogance. The Herald maybe not, he would just laugh and say ¡®how is good to be young¡¯. ¡°Now that you said in that way, it seems I am in the wrong here.¡± Leonhardt scratched his head. ¡°I didn¡¯t even know I would be able to buy something amazing sounding like [Holy Protection] or [Hero¡¯s Bane].¡± ¡°Oh, that¡¯s true. You are only Common Rank. Even if you have DP enough to buy them, you wouldn¡¯t be able to do so.¡± Lisa felt her headache easing. ¡°My real point is, don¡¯t these upgrades not conform with my current growth?¡± ¡°Yes, they don¡¯t conform. Leon, you''re only Rank Common. You shouldn¡¯t be this powerful normally, even more since you are a Core-Master. I can understand your frustration, so how about you focus in Rank Up to next Rank which will be similar to your Dungeon¡¯s strength that has an Alraune and those interesting Antkins.¡± Nevertheless, I don¡¯t think that fox will let you be satisfied with that degree of power. ¡°Since you talked about the Rank Up, can you tell me what the hidden requisites are?¡± Leonhardt shamelessly asked. ¡°No. And even if I wanted I wouldn¡¯t be able to tell you. They vary depending on the Gift¡¯s user.¡± ¡°This is my last question then. Do you know the correct path to evolve the [Taming] skill?¡± Aeglisa paused to think and tried to compare how Taming works in comparison with what she uses to dominate her monsters. ¡°...No, I don¡¯t think I know.¡± ¡°So I will have to implement the two plans forming in my head to increase its range or power.¡± Leon¡¯s smile seemed wicked for Lisa for some reason. ¡°If not, it will be a pain in the ass to tame all the Antkins that will be born despite that I can instantly tame them.¡± Lisa and Leonhardt talked more until the Core-Master had to leave to care of new intruders. When that happened Dhasharan suddenly appeared at Lisa¡¯s front and said. ¡°I didn¡¯t tell this to the Dungeon, but I think you know the answer for what I am searching for. Purple Portal and a power capable of shattering things like everything is made of glass. What do you know about them?¡± Lisa¡¯s eyes narrowed with increasing anger. ¡°Tell me more about where did you see those things.¡±
