"Come on sweetie! You can do this!" A man with crimson hair and gold eyes cheers on his wife. This is Taljor Vansil Arccewien, the current king of The Human Kingdom of Arccewien. His great great grandfather was the Swordsmen Hero, Vansil. "Shut up! I''m trying to focus!" Said his wife, Lucara Ashborn/Arrcewien. She had Golden hair and red eyes, and it was obvious she was a beauty. She was originally a low-ranked noble, but ever since they met at Taljor''s birthday, they were in love. Two are in a room that has many people running around, wearing nurse or doctor uniforms. Soon, after many cries of pain, the second prince was born. Cut off and cleaned up, he was soon given to his mother. Cradling his small body in her arms, she smiled a content filled smile as she looked down onto him. Next to Taljor, two children peaked over his shoulders to get a closer look at their new brother. One had snow-white hair and golden eyes, with a cute face on the verge of becoming handsome. This was the eldest, the first Prince Ziethal Vansil Iesten Arrcewien. The girl peaking from the other side was the first Princess Saraphell Vansil Taljor Arrcewien. She had light pink hair and golden eyes, and had an adorable face. "Look Zieth, Sara, this is your new brother, Adrae." Spoke Lucara in a gental tone. This day was the day Adraewiel Vansil Lucara Arrcewien was born. Prologue Two: Magic It has been two years since since Adraewiel''s birth, and he was currently being taught by the head butler, Alfred. Normally, people would wait until children were four, but Adraewiel was a strange case. Well, all of the Arrcewien family was strange, mostly due to their Dragon Blood and the Hero''s bloodline speeding development up. So, by the time he was two, Adraewiel could walk, form a sentence, and lift small things. So, around last month Alfred began teaching him math and history, along with special things like Magic and Dungeons. Speaking of Magic; "Alright. Adraewiel, what can you tell me about magic?" Adraewiel started thinking. He saw his sister''s hand light on fire after being in an argument with Ziethal. That was all the magic the young Arccewien had seen. "Umm, I dunno?" Alfred sighed and smiled. "Magic, simply put, is the power to control the very elements that make up our world." Alfred created a small pulm of flame from his hand. "One can create balls of fire, strengthen your bones to be harder than steel, create weapons of pure light. Frankly, anything can be done with magic." "But, it was extremely hard to control. In the early days, you had to know everything about the spell to use it, and even then it was hard. But, nowadays, casting magic and using techniques are easy thanks to the Souls Text."Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions. "Whats that?" Adraewiel asked, confused at the word. "Souls Text is a book that was found in a Dungeon. When it was found and opened, it released a shockwave of energy that gave every sentient being the ability to access their Soul Screen. It is quite a powerful artefact, but no one has been able to open it since." "Can I get a Soul Screen?" "Everyone has one, but it can only be accessed when one turns five by ritual. So, you have a lot to obtain once you turn five. Well, thats all the time for today. Remember, your brothers birthday is in a week." Alfred said as he started to clean up. Soon, Adraewiel joined him. ''Taljor''s son does have a kind heart. Helping me do my job when he could be doing anything else. He growing up to be just like you, my king.'' The head butler thought. Alfred was the personal butler for Taljor when he was a kid. When said boy became king, he appointed Alfred as the head butler. It took a few minutes, but the duo finished cleaning up. Adraewiel opened the door and stepped out and into the hallway, with his personal guard, Tobias, close behind. Tobias was still a teenager, but he was master with a lance. His hair was the same color as a cloudy sky, and his eyes were a mix of red and orange, making them look like a setting sun. The guard had quite the fanbase, with maids from the castle to women in the town. It would be a lie to say that he didn''t have some envy towards him, but at the same time he was glad he didn''t. He didn''t think his wife could handle all the women. Prologue Three: The Party Ziethal was excited. Tonight, it was his ninth birthday. One year away from being able to become an Adventurer. Sure, he was the crown prince, but he wanted to get out of the castle and explore the world. He did make a deal with his dad. He would be allowed to become an Adventurer when he turned 10, but he would have to go to the academy first. And when it came time to take the throne, he would have too come back and be king. Of course, he accepted. Looking up, he saw himself in the ornate mirror. His holden eyes became slits, his ear elongated. His white hair went down to shoulders. He grabbed the bottom of his hair and put in what his sister called a ponytail. It did suit him, to say the least. He flexed his back, and a pair of white dragon wings came out. It was apart if his draconic heritage. The Arccewien family awakens their Dragon blood when they turn five, along with being able to access their Soul Screen. Speaking of Soul Screens... Ziethal sighed as he retracted his wings. Tighting his tie, he turned to face the bathroom door. Even though he liked his birthday, it was always the first part he hated. You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story. He looked in the mirror one last time to check if he missed anything. Fancy white suit, check. Ponytail, check. Silk gloves, check. Obnoxious tie, check. Shoes? He glanced down. Check. He had a habit of going barefoot sometimes, so he always had to check. He looked towards the door. ''Time to get this over with.'' He walked out the door, and they instantly surrounded him. "AAAHHH! IT''S ZIETHAL-SAMA!!!" "HE''S SO HANDSOME!" "ADORABLE!!!" The comments were pretty much the same as always. This was a downside to being the crown prince. You you have a lot of fangirls. As they were starting to get in close, a figure in full armour appeared. "Alright ladies, back it up. The party cant continue without him." With a resounding ''Awww...'' the fangirls disappeared. "Thank you Christa. I don''t know what I could do without you." "Thank you, mi''lord." The figure pulled of their helmet to reveal a young woman. She was Ziethal''s private guard, Christa. She was a few years older than him, but she was still short. "You do realize this is a party? You don''t need all that armour. And don''t call me that." "It''s fine. I''m used to the armour. Besides, what if something happens and someone needs to take a shot for you? Mi''lord~" *sigh* "Alright. As you said, the party can''t continue without me, no?" Ziethal said, and Christa nodded. Ziethal headed towards the rest of the nobles, while Christa sat with the other guards. A few hours ran by, and everything was going smoothly. The feast, the presents, and finally the dance. Ziethal then noticed something. Out of the corner if his eye, he saw a black ball hover over the crowd. It wasn''t solid, like a ball of black fog. Strangly, nobody noticed it. Then it started moving, from place to place as if looking for something. Then, it suddenly stopped. It stretched out into the shape of a spear. Ziethal''s eyes widened as he saw who it was aiming at. His little brother, Adraewiel and his sister Saraphell. He let go of the girl he was dancing with before sliding in front of his siblings just as the spear struck him. Everything was quite for a moment before it erupted into screams. He looked down at his stomach to find it gone. He collapsed and fainted.
You have been affected with the curse: Sabatth Corruption
Adraewiel eyes widened as he saw his brother suddenly run in front of him and for his stomach to ripped open. Blood splattered against his face. For a split-second, he saw some kind of black mist merge with his body. Then everyone screamed. LINEBREAK "As it seems, your planning was spot on. Nothing went wrong. Good job." On the roof of the castle, two figures stood there, enshrouded by shadows. "Thanks. But we are still in fase one. Remember what dad used to say?" "No plan survives contact with the enemy or mother. I remember. We should go, tell Master of our success." The other figure nodded before disappearing. The tall one looked towards the moon. For a moment, it turned a blood red. "Soon. Soon mi''lord will be revived. And the world will be ours." And then he vanished as well.
