 Chapter I

    "I can hear her. It''s horrible we need help. Why can''t anybody hear her except for us? Why are we the ones to suffer from her screeches? It''s over. Tomorrow everyone is gonna die, but before I die I am going to tell you about our petrifying story with the goddess of sins. I hope that this journal lives throughout history and someday I truly wish that the mages would make her disappear. Her-"


    A young girl probably around 12 years old closes the book in her hand with a smile. She looked like a perfect doll. Her grey voluminous hair came upto her shoulders. She had a black bow on her hair and a grey and black victorian dress. She gave off a joyful aura, despite her gloomy attire. Just by her looks one could easily fall in love with her. Yet one thing was off. Her eyes, they were sky blue and very big, however her pupils were crimson red but they soon returned to black. Nonetheless she was very cute.


    She burned the book in her hand with a candle and proceeded to throw it in the traditional fireplace on her right while smiling.


    That was the last piece of evidence on earth. Finally.


    She looked around the room, it was quite small. There was a small bed in the corner, a oven right next to the fireplace and in the center was a green rug with a couch. The room gave off a warm feeling and was very dark since a single candle was trying it''s best to illuminate the whole room.


    The young doll took her red identification card and flipped it over. On it was written her name: Anastasia Everly and her age: 23 years old. There were also other small details like her address and date of birth. Anastasia held her identification card in her hand took her red coat from the couch and her white mask that only had one hole to let her breathe.


    She then left her house, and the first thing she saw after leaving her cottage was a beautiful view of a huge town. The girl lived on top of a hill. Right beneath the hill were home to many animals, the most eye-catching were the lambs and horses. Everything looked like some place from a fairytale, the grass was green and freshly grown.     Anastasia went down the hill and walked towards the gigantic bucolic town, also known as the capital of the country name Hera.

    Finally she arrived at the capital. She was in a line full of people, mostly mages, warriors and royal guards whom were probably coming back after completing a mission. The line went towards a huge wooden gate which was the entrance to the capital.

    After a long 2 hours in line Anastasia finally entered the biggest capital in the world. Soon she entered a big building with a large sign written "Poseidon Guild".


    And so this was Anastasia''s first time entering an adventurer''s guild. It was not some ordinary guild it was the fourth biggest adventurer''s guild in the world.


    The walls were made out of mostly wood and glass, the floors had white tiles and the big room was crowded with hundreds of people.


    Right when she had entered the guild the eyes of many were on her. After a moment of silence, 3 very muscular men with luxurious equipement began laughing hysterically.


    "Oi! This ain''t no place for children, now scram and go find your mother" one of the men said while laughing even harder.


    The young girl didn''t even take the time to listen to them she immediately walked to the front desk.


    The men felt offended but didn''t bother her anymore.


    The front desk worker was about to say something yet stopped out of shock when Anastasia took out her identification card, though most people didnt see it, as she was hiding the card with her coat.


    He suddenly started speaking formally and respectfully.


    "I apologize for my rudeness Miss Everly, you may take any missions to your desire at any time." Said the worker while whispering.


    "Then I would like to join an adventurers party."


    "Your choice Miss."


    He handed over some paper with the names of the adventurers parties and other info like the rank of the adventurers and the amount of people.


    "Then I choose this one."


    She pointed at the adventurers party named Enfert.


    It only had 4 adventurers, however it was the best adventurers party of Poseidon. They were mostly famous for their looks but they were incredibly powerful with the rank of Poudretteite. Poudretteite was the most strongest rank.


    Usually you would need permission from the adventurers to join their party, yet Anastasia had special permission due to her identification card. Her card was proof that she has helped the royal family multiple times


    The worker nodded and gave Anastasia a paper. This paper was proof that she was officially part of the Enfer group. It also told her their current location.


    She grinned and left the guild in silence to go find her new partners.

 Chapter 2

    Anastasia had exited the guild. The capital was beautiful, the paths were made of big stones, all the buildings were made out of wood and there were also light posts everywhere. In the middle was a fountain surrounded by wooden benches and flowers. The people there seemed nice and almost everyone had a friendly smile.


    The young girl walked towards a hotel named Armira which was where the 4 young men were staying.


    She opened the door and the inside was gloomy. It was very dark and the lobby was extremely small. Around 5 people could fit in here. It surprised her seeing that they were the best adventurers party living in such a cheap hotel.


    She walked towards the front desk where there was a young woman. Anastasia showed the young woman her paper without saying a word. Almost immediately the front desk woman showed her their room number and pointed at the stairs. The room number was 201 on the second floor.


    Anastasia bowed to the woman to thank her and went to look for the room. While going up the stairs she saw many odd things. Portraits of what seemed like adventurers, random trophies and many other things. But what catched her eye was the portrait of the king. He too always wore a mask like Anastasia and just looking at the picture made Anastasia mad. After a long minute she finally arrived at the room. She heard some laughs and voices inside their room. Without even knocking she entered their room.


    The men were extremely shocked and looked at the mysterious masked girl whom had just randomly entered their room. Anastasia took a quick look around the room. Compared to the lobby the room was quite large. There were 4 beds for the 4 men. A bathroom in the corner. And a desk right next to one of the beds. The room was dark just like the lobby, but it was still very nice.


    She had almost forgot about the young men. She stared at them and spotted one of them who was more eye-catching than all the other ones. His name was Edward, the eldest adventurer in the party. His hair was blonde and came upto his shoulders. The right side of his bangs were tucked behind his ear. He had sharp blue eyes and had smooth and fair skin like that of a porcelain doll. He was wearing a very loose long-sleeved white shirt. Edward''s pants were black and was being help up by a brown belt.     The other boy sitting right next to Edward was wearing a medical mask and gloves. He went by the name of Albert. He was a germaphobe otherwise known as a clean freak. His brown hair was almost half shaved on one side. He had green narrow eyes and long lashes. Albert was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans paired with white sneakers.


    Across the room was a guy who seemed very playful. The young boy''s real name was Jack but everyone called him James. His messy blonde hair made him very adorable. The young man was wearing a very colorful top with red shorts. He had a lollipop in his mouth and was sitting on a chair in a crouching position. Anastasia could tell that he was the outgoing and fun type. Jack was obviously the youngest among them, he was aged 18 years old, though he was quite short for a 18 year old.


    Finally the last man standing right next to James was Lucifer. He had a very calm aura. He seemed like the type of man who would never betray his comrades. He had long straight hair that came upto his back. Lucifer also had sharp blue eyes like Edward. He was wearing a cozy sweater and some black pants. The calm man was the second eldest party member.


    After a long moment of silence Edward started speaking.


    "Hellooo?"


    Anastasia came back to earth after being so distracted.


    "Oh, hello I''m joining your party now scoot over I want to sit."


    Albert got up with an angry look right after she stopped speaking.


    "Who are you?! First you barge into our room now you say you''re part of our group?!"


    Anastasia quickly pulled out her paper from her pocket and showed it to the boys.


    They were extremely shocked and looked at each other asking themselves how that was even possible. They never said they wanted any new members.


    Anastasia threw the paper at them.


    "If you''re confused read the paper thoroughly, I gotta take a dump."


    She left silently to the bathroom while picking her nose.


    She had finally found the bathroom after 2 minutes. Anastasia stood infront of the mirror hanged behind the sink.


    Holy crap! I was so cool! Hahahah I bet they were distracted by my coolness. Yeah totally, totally. Arggghh! Who am I fooling I looked like an idiot!


    The young girl went back to room 201 after a good talk to herself--or, rather it was more complaining to herself than a good talk.

 Chapter 3

    The young girl pushed the room''s door open. All 4 of the adventurers were around the paper which was on one of the beds. Suddenly Lucifer noticed the masked girl. The long haired man got up.


    "Show us your identification card, there''s no way a mere child like you could have protected the royal family," shouted Lucifer.


    Anastasia was getting bored with all this drama. She pulled out her identification card and only showed the back of it.


    The men went closer to see if it was real.


    "No way! That''s the royal seal! It''s true," said Albert in shock.


    "But why did you choose to be in an adventurer''s party instead of being solo," questionned James


    "Simple. I can spend my teammates money," replied Anastasia


    "Hah, if you think we''re going to give you mercy just because you''re a child. You''re wrong," said Edward


    "Aww shucks! Well whatever, being solo is boring. It''s more amusing being with other people," said Anastasia whilst chuckling


    "Well now we have a child in our team," sighed Edward.


    Anastasia was sweating from the mask and coat. She decided to sit on one of the beds and take them off. First she unzipped her coat and revealed her black victorian dress. The men became more interested when she started slowly taking off her mask. When she had finished taking off her mask, she looked at the boys.     "What? Oh I know am I too beautiful for your eyes. I get it now," Anastasia smirked.


    "No our eyes are glued to you because you look so grotesque," said Edward while grinning.


    Anastasia and the others laughed. The boys were amusing. Especially the eldest. She then realized that she had almost forgot to introduce herself.


    "I believe I forgot to introduce myself. The name''s Anastasia Everly. I am 23 years old and my blood type is AB-." said the young doll while curtseying.


    "What no way you''re as old as me?! You''re the same age as Edward! And your blood type is AB- that''s the rarest blood type in the world!" exclaimed James.


    Anastasia showed her identification card to the boys. They were dumbfounded.


    Anastasia looked at the time, it was 5:05. Suddenly she realized that she didn''t bring any clothes. The shops were all closed at this time so she had a small panic attack. There was no choice. She used her powers to make a black sweater and some gray pants.


    In less than a second they were made.


    Edward, Lucifer, Albert and James were amazed at how fast she made her clothes.


    "You do know you could have asked us, I mean you are officially part of our group," said James.


    "Wear filthy clothes from people like you? I''ll pass," said Anastasia while smiling.


    The 4 men where annoyed by her insult, yet remained calm.


    Anastasia quickly changed her clothes in the bathroom. As soon as she got out of there she jumped onto a bed.


    "Hey that''s my bed!" exclaimed Edward.


    "Have you no shame? Have you no shame? Ladies first!" Anastasia replied


    Edward was about to shout back, but refrained as what she said was true. Lucifer was surprised that Edward didn''t fight back, he gave a small smirk to Edward.


    "My, my what a gentleman," said Lucifer to Edward while smiling


    "No she just doesn''t know that I farted multiple times on that pillow," said Edward


    Edward decided to sleep on the floor with a blanket for the rest of the night.


    Anastasia immediately fell asleep. The rest of the days the boys wondered just what happend today. They weren''t sure what to do. Should they trust her? She seemed mysterious. And to think she got the royal seal. Was she weak, was she strong or maybe she couldn''t fight at all. They wanted to ask her so many questions.


    Soon midnight struck and Anastasia''s daily nightmare started.

 Chapter 4

    Breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out.


    The time was 11:59 pm. Anastasia was sitting on the chair that was near the desk. She was trembling and breathing heavily. The only thing that was going through her mind was don''t wake them up. Don''t wake them up. Don''t wake them up, please.


    Everyday Anastasia suffers all the punishements for the sins the humans have commited throughout the day. Though she has done this for thousands of years, she still fears the pain. Over the years she started getting a bit used to it, like how she doesn''t scream anymore. But the pain just keeps on getting worse and worse.


    Anastasia held on tight to the arms of the chair. It was her duty to suffer everyday like this. The pain she felt when in punishment was horrific. No human could bear this pain every single day. It was wrse than a million deaths. Worse than any pain in this world. No one could describe this pain, even if you knew every single word in the universe. Nobody can explain the feeling of her punishment.


    The petrified goddess looked over at the clock to see the time.


    At that moment it went from 11:59pm to 12:00am.


    She was gasping for air and panting. Anastasia was shaking. Her nails were scraping the wooden chair''s arm. She kept on moving her legs to ease the pain, even so nothing would change.


    After 30 minutes, which felt like 5 hours, her torture calmed down a bit. She looked over to see if any of the men were awake. The young girl let out a sigh of relief. Anastasia regained her composure and spent the rest of her time worrying.


    After 5 minutes the pain came back. This time a tear drop slide down her cheek. Her feet were fidgeting. She couldn''t stop trembling. The goddess was screeching deep down inside. Anastasia''s thoughts were all scrambled, she couldn''t think straight because of the pain.


    Finally after 2 hours of inescapable hell, the agony had ended. Anastasia was panting. She ran to the bathroom and splashed some water on her face to calm herself down.     "Why are you up at 2 am?" questionned Albert half asleep.


    "Bathroom," replied Anastasia.


    Albert nodded and went back to sleep.


    Anastasia was surprised that she could come with an excuse so fast. The young doll went back to sleep and pretended that nothing happend.

    It was 8 am Anastasia had just woken up. She went to brush her teeth and proceeded to wake up the guys. It took her a long 10 minutes of shouting at them, but eventually they got up.


    After everyone had woken up they all got dressed up and went to the cafe down the street to eat. Anastasia, however decided to bring her food to the room as she couldn''t eat with her mask on.


    ¡ð Meanwhile at the cafe..


    During their time in the cafe they mostly talked about Anastasia. They couldn''t believe that they had just accepted her like that, yet they didn''t have the guts to do so. Edward thought that she would slow down their group and anger their female fans. They also thought her mask was odd and suspicious.


    However, one thing that convinced them that she was worth their time was the royal seal. It was very hard for them to get the royal seal, 1 year of pure hard work for them to get that seal. It made James jealous that she could get a royal seal with an arrogant attitude like hers.


    While they were speaking of royal seals they wondered how strong she was. For one to get a royal seal they must be incredibly powerful. Not to mention if you were to get a royal seal you would become known all around the capital, yet they had never heard of her. The boys became extremely curious about her more and more. In the bat of an eye it had already been an hour. They rushed back to the hotel while covering they''re faces to not get recognized by others.

    When they had entered the hotel room Anastasia was reading a book, a very dirty and old book.


    "It was about time you came back," said Anastasia while reading at her book.


    Edward replied while knitting his brows in anger, "You should be grateful we even came."


    Anastasia closed her book and looked at the 4 boys.


    "I want to go and buy some clothes and food. Could one of you come with me to show me the way there?" said Anastasia while smiling.


    The men were looking at each other to decide who was going to go with her. After many disagreements they decided to all go together.


    Anastasia quickly grabbed her mask and red coat, put her book on top of the desk and left

 Chapter 5

    They were walking to the fruit stalls near their hotel. The men and mostly Anastasia were getting some odd looks from others. The young girl and the boys weren''t surprised I mean they were wearing masks, anyone would get suspicious and curious.


    Finally arriving at the Produce Palace-- an open-air market, they went to go buy some food.


    The Produce Palace had small kiosks on every single corner to sell newspapers. On the sides were the stalls and shops and in the middle was a stone path for people to walk on.


    Anastasia and the boys separated paths. The boys were going to buy some meat while Anastasia was going to buy some "clothes."


    The 4 boys wanted to buy alot of meat, but first they had to decide who was going to pay for the food. Rock, paper and scissors was their ultimate weapon when deciding stuff like this. They played a quick round of the game, and of course Edward lost. He reached out to the his pocket only to find a note.


    "I took your wallet, thanks."


    Edward was extremely mad. While his head was about to pop off because of Anastasia, the other boys were laughing so much they were chocking on their own spit.


    In the end Edward beat up Albert till he agreed to pay for the food.


    ¡ðMeanwhile Anastasia...


    The goddess was at a stall called "You''re the Zest!" her mouth was watering just by looking at the sign. It was a literal lemon heaven for a fellow lemon addict like her. From sweet lemons to sour lemons, every type of lemon was there.


    In a split second she had wasted all of Edward''s money on lemons. She decided to buy 4 of every type of lemon there. The woman at the stall was wondering what she was going to do with all those lemons. Nonetheless, she bought so many lemons the worker offered her 2 wooden baskets for free.


    After a good 30 minutes of looking around Anastasia went searching for the 4 men. Her arms were exhausted and her hands were all red she was about to give up. However with a little bit of hardwork Anastasia found the boys.     Anastasia entered the cafe. It looked almost exactly like the hotel lobby, but bigger and with more furniture.


    The 4 boys spotted Anastasia coming towards them. Before Anastasia could even speak Edward stood up in fury.


    "Why did you steal my wallet?! And all you bought is lemons are you crazy?! I had 120$ in there! Why did you just buy lemons!?" shouted Edward.


    "Because," replied Anastasia


    "Because?! BECAUSE?! That is your reason?! Because?!" replied Edward furious.


    "Sorry, but that''s all your squeezing out of me," said Anastasia while smiling.


    Lucifer put his hand on Edwards'' shoulder signaling him to calm down and let go of his anger. He calmed down and gave up. What''s lost is lost and shall never come back.


    After that, Anastasia put both of her lemon-filled basket on the table and sighed out of relief. The boys saw her red arms.


    "Hey, how long were you carrying those baskets?" questioned James.


    "An hour," replied Anastasia confused.


    The boys were surprised she could hold the baskets for that long without showing any signs of weakness. An ordinary girl of her size would only be able to hold those heavy baskets for 3 minutes.


    Anastasia quickly sat down on the chair near Lucifer. With no hesitation whatsoever she asked a question the boys wanted to ask her since yesterday.


    "Say, why are you guys-- the most powerful adventurers in the history of Poseidon, be in the middle class area instead of the upper class area?"


    The upper class was where most adventurers and wealthy families lived. That class was all about status and wealth. Most people who lived there were sickening. They were called Aristocrats and were hate by all commoners. The main reason they were so despised was because they looked down on all commoners. Some of them were loved by commoners, yet almost all of them were adventurers.


    The middle class area was where most people lived. They were normal and had happy lives.


    The lower class area was where people who were unable to pay their taxes lived. Most of them wither away from hunger or from a disease.


    "We got a mission to complete around here. A Dorza monster was said to live around here. We''re waiting for it to wake up from his nap," said Albert.


    "A Dorza? What is that?" asked Anastasia.


    "A Dorza is a rare monster that comes out once every 12 years. All high ranked adventurers are obligated to kill this monster. What makes it so terrifying is how it explodes if you don''t kill it in a short amount of time. It could probably wipe out this whole capital depending on the size of the Dorza. They are usually green and the darker the shade of green is, the more closer it is to exploding. But the lighter the shade of green is, the more time the adventurers have before it explodes," explained James.


    Anastasia smiled, she was entertained. After so many years she can finally fight again.


    Right after James'' explanation the floor started shaking. It was time for the awakening of the monster.

 Chapter 6 rewritten completely

    Everyone in the capital heard a loud roar. The roar of the Dorza was a signal for all the adventurers to gather where it was at and fight together.


    The boys and Anastasia got up from their chair. They each had a role to do. Anastasia had to help the citizens evacuate to the Evacuation center. Edward, Lucifer, and James had to make an enormous barrier on top of the upper-class area to protect them. Albert had to go around the town to check if there was anyone left.


    The Enfert group parted their ways and agreed to accomplish their duties no matter what. They all decided to reunite at the Adventurers Center in 50 minutes.


    ? Anastasia


    Anastasia was lost. She was right in front of the cafe''s door. The young doll didn''t even know where to evacuate the citizens. Luckily she was with an adventurers group with five members.


    They were all men, outstanding looking men. They were equipped with very expensive armor and equipment. The men all had brown hair and hazel eyes. Two of them were fitted with a sword and the other three with a spear.


    Anastasia decided to say hi. She patted the shoulder of the man who seemed to be the leader of the group due to his shiny metal armor.


    "Hiya!" she said energetically.


    The man turned around and was shocked to find a masked girl. His teammates in the back were surprised too.


    "Hello?" he said confused.


    "Where should we evacuate them? I''m a bit lost," said Anastasia.


    "Ah, you''re assigned to evacuate them too? You sure don''t look like an adventurer. We''re supposed to leave them on top of that hill," he pointed at the hill where Anastasia lived.


    The young girl was a bit worried. Maybe the citizens would enter her house without permission. She was a bit scared, even so, she still had to evacuate them there.

    "Now then let''s call out the citizens, shall we?" said one of the men in the adventurers party.


    Anastasia did not know what he was about to do.


    Soon one of the men with a sword pointed his index finger to the air. In 5 seconds or so he made a substantial red firework. The red firework meant for all the citizens to gather at the place the firework blew up.


    After 10 minutes or so thousands of citizens were gathered there. Behind everyone was Albert, he showed a thumbs up to Anastasia. Everyone was here.


    Anastasia lowered the two white airships. The door opened automatically, and so did the stairs. Everyone was squeezed in there. They had to use force to fit everyone in the aircrafts. After a tiring 15 minutes of pushing everyone in there, they closed the door. The two airships flew up, and Anastasia, Albert, and the adventurers party were flying behind it.


    Flying was a regular thing all adventurers could do.


    Finally arriving at the hill, everyone exited the aircraft. A sigh of relief came out of Albert and Anastasia''s mouth. The goddess thanked the adventurers for their help. Albert looked at the time, 30 minutes had already passed.


    "Should we go and check on Lucifer and the others? We have some spare time," said Albert.


    Anastasia nodded and flew to the upper-class and Albert trailed behind her.


    ? Three minutes later


    The young doll and the clean freak was floating on top of the upper-class area. It indeed was for the wealthy. Extremely detailed buildings, decent roads, and sidewalks. Despite there being a massive monster that only awakens once every 12 years, no one seemed to be fazed by it. The upper-class was as lively as ever.


    Anastasia spotted the boys and many other adventurers in the distance.


    "I think I found them," said Anastasia to Albert.


    "Yup, let''s go," replied Albert.


    Both of them rushed towards their teammates.


    The adventurers were forming a semi-circle. The goddess could feel everyone''s magic. It was incredibly intense. Everyone''s hands were out; they were concentrating very hard.


    Albert and Anastasia didn''t want to disturb anyone. Instead, they watched the barrier form. Slowly arising from the ground and making a sphere. The barrier was slightly blue, but most of it was transparent.


    ?13 minutes later


    At last, the barrier was formed. Everyone rocketed down to the ground and landed on the grass. Everyone was panting and sweating. The young masked girl and Albert went onto the grass to meet Edward, Lucifer, and James.


    Anastasia sneaked behind Edward who was lying on the ground.


    "It must''ve been hard," she said with her masked face hovering over Edward''s face.


    Edward got a bit scared of Anastasia popping out of nowhere.


    "You guys were laying around while we were working hard," yelled Edward.


    Anastasia laughed. It was true, and she was happy that Edward suffered a lot for once.


    "We have to go to the Adventurers Center!" shouted James to remind all the adventurers.


    The group and the others had almost forgotten. Everyone panicked and rushed to the Adventurers Center.

 Chapter 7

    5:52 pm


    Arriving inside the Adventurers Center, the Enfert group sat down on a bench. The interior was primarily concrete and seating. It was bland and boring, yet there was no need for any decoration seeing that they rarely held gatherings here.


    A lot of people were there around 60 people and eight adventurers party.


    All eyes were on them. It was only reasonable since they are the most powerful adventurers party in the Poseidon guild. However, most stares were on Anastasia. A mere child was sitting next to such influential people.


    After 10 minutes of sitting down, a young blonde haired woman was standing on a table. She was using [Shout of the night] to speak louder, like a replacement for a microphone.


    "Hello, adventurers! My name is Anne, the chairman''s assistant. Today many people are here to fight an incredibly formidable monster. Strategy and technique are essential while fighting this enemy. One second of delay will affect the whole operation," said the young blonde.


    The whole room was anxious after that last sentence. If one were to mess up the entire capital would be doomed.


    A young man stood on top of the table the young woman was standing on. He looked at everyone and cast a spell. [Telepathy IV], he said in a low voice. [Telepathy IV] was a powerful spell used to transmit long messages into another using one''s mind. Every adventurers party received a different message. The man sent instructions to everyone including techniques and timing.


    The Enfert group were given the most critical task, the final blow. At 6:38 pm the four men were to use an extremely strong spell which had a 50% chance of blowing their bodies to pieces.     Everyone forgot about Anastasia since no one knew she was part of the Enfert group. In fact, she didn''t even receive the instructions from the man.     Anastasia looked at the boys. They seemed a bit anxious. They wondered to themselves why the man chose this spell out of the thousands of others. Even so, they didn''t complain and thought it was for their good.


    The young blonde haired lady stood on top of the same table and spoke using the same spell.


    "As of now, everyone has gotten their instructions. Hopefully, everyone fulfills them no matter what. To make sure no one gets confused the young man next to me, Claude will tell you the instructions thoroughly," said the young woman.


    The man who used [Telepathy IV] on everyone stood on the table and spoke using [Shout of the night].


    "Group #1, the Reve adventurers party, ranked Tanzanite with 18 adventurers. They will use glass shards to lure the beast near the river as his most significant and only weakness is water. Group #1 must do this for exactly 6 minutes."


    "Group #2, the Red Demons group, ranked Poudreteitte with 7 adventurers. This group has an important task, creating a big barrier around the Dorza, so it doesn''t escape. They have around 15 minutes to do this. Do not expect the barrier to be adamantine so please refrain from going near to it."


    "Group #3, the Blue Whales, ranked Tanzanite with 9 members. They must use [Water Hurricane] and [Dance of ice] on the Dorza monster to deal some damage on it. The Blue Whales have to do this for 8 minutes."


    "Group #4, the Pulchra adventurers group, ranked Tanzanite with 15 people. Their job is to use any water spell bellow level 7 for 5 minutes."


    "Group #5, the Enfert group, ranked Poudreteitte with 4 people. This powerful adventurers group must use the spell [Luck of Sacrifice] for the final attack. They have 26 minutes remaining to do so."


    Everyone was shocked. The Enfert group had to use such a powerful spell with a very high risk of dying.


    "I will tell you that we have 50 minutes before the monster explodes. Let us all pray to god so that everything goes as planned. The three remaining groups will use their healing powers to help the injured," said Claude.


    Anastasia was surprised that the man on the table could plan everything in such a short amount of time.


    Then the ground shook and a huge roar was heard. The Dorza monster arose from the ground.


    Everyone stood outside of the Adventurers Center. They all saw the enormous monster; some shivered in fear while others were shaking in excitement.


    6:04 pm


    The group #1 flew near it and lured the monster next to the river.


    All the plans went well and not a minute of delay, but soon it was the Enfert groups'' turn.


    Albert, Edward, Lucifer, and James were so nervous the whole time since the man had given them the instructions, they had forgotten about Anastasia. It was an advantage to Anastasia, yet she still felt a bit offended that they forgot about her.

 Chapter 8

    The men take off their masks except for Albert as he cannot breathe without his medical mask. When they took off their mask sweat was dripping from every inch of their face because of the heat, but also because of their anxiousness. They felt relieved. It felt as though they had just lifted off a dumbbell of their faces.


    Slowly they walked towards the Dorza monster trembling slightly. What felt like a second which was actually 2 minutes, they were finally next to it. All the boys flew together towards the monster. They all prayed that their wish would be granted and hoped that no lives would be lost during this.


    Edward and Lucifer chanted the spell while James and Albert were chanting their wish.


    After 20 seconds they lost consciousness. Their bodies started rising and stopped in mid-air. A white semi-transparent orb was formed around them. That orb was signal to everyone that the spell had started taking action.


    Anastasia quickly took off her mask and activated her soul form. Soul form was where one''s physical body is invisible, yet their soul is still present. It takes an immense amount of skill to perform this.


    The young girl¡ª more like the young soul, flew to the boys. To enter their bodies she had to split her soul. Anastasia has split her soul many times back in the days, but never in 4. She told herself that nothing was going to happen and split her soul.


    It felt a bit weird controlling 4 bodies at once. Anastasia was standing on nothing. Everything was pitch black. But after looking around she saw a small light in the distance and approached it. A young boy was standing there naked. The boy looked like an average high schooler. Black hair and a small body. It was the spell in a human''s form. He was probably in that form since it was easier to move around. Every spell has a soul despite not being a physical creature.


    While Anastasia was looking at him he turned around.


    "Who are you? You do not give off the feeling of a human. I''ve never felt such a strong aura," said the boy.


    "My, my you sure are direct. Who I am is not of importance. Now, I am in a hurry and my one demand is that you grant the adventurers wish," said Anastasia in a serious and terrifying tone.Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.


    The spell felt her extremely dark aura, a small hint of murderous intent was in there too. He was a bit scared. Even so, he decided to reply back.


    "Even if I were to exit their body their destinies were decided when they cast the spell. There is no other way even you kill me, unless..."


    "Unless what?"


    "A contract. If you''re that desperate."


    The young doll was a bit hesitant. She had made contracts before but for very fragile situations. A thing such as "helping" some random humans was ridiculous, yet for some reason, she felt the need to save them.


    A contract was where 2 people exchange something of the same value. A bit like a trade but far more dangerous than a trade. Physical objects were prohibited and the trade must be of the same value. There were many other rules like how conning was not allowed or tricking someone into a contract was also forbidden.


    "If you are willing to do a contract then exchange for their desire to be granted I will have control 1/6 of your mind," said the young boy.


    Having control over Anastasia''s mind was a big risk. It would mean that she would have a split personality. For many people, they would be terrified of not having control of their mind just for a minute, yet for Anastasia it was amusing.


    Besides, it''s only 1/6 of my mind, he can probably only take control of my mind once or twice a week for 10 minutes or so.


    "I accept," said Anastasia without a thought of regret.


    "That was fast. Now then let us form the contract," said the spell.


    To form a contract a drop of blood from both of the contractors was needed. Once both of the drops of blood are combined they must simultaneously say "I shall not break this bond. I am fully aware of the contract I am making." They also had to think about what they were going to exchange before combining they''re blood.


    And so Anastasia and the young boy did the same and whispered the same words.


    After finishing all that a small cut was placed on her back indicating that she has formed a contract. But next to that cut were many other slits.


    The young boy and Anastasia waved goodbye and the young doll returned to normal. She immediately put her mask on and looked at the boys.


    They had woken up and the spell did its job. The boys punched the beast together. The Dorza monster was defeated in merely 10 seconds, it was a completely one-sided match. The spell left their bodies as soon as they defeated the monster making them fall to the ground, luckily they weren''t too high up.


    Everyone cheered including the injured adventurers being healed on the hill where the citizens were. It was a happy ending for everyone.


    In 30 minutes all the citizens were transported back to the capital by the 5 adventurers that Anastasia was with earlier and the barrier protecting the upper-class was taken down.


    The boys were incredibly happy even though they just fell on the grass. Anastasia flew to them and congratulated them. It was a joyful fight for everyone.
