 Prologue

    "Please let my son live, he has nothing to do with all this..... Please!!!" yelled a woman who was injured very badly. She had a baby with her who was crying loudly as he saw her mother''s face was bleeding and drops of blood were dripping on the baby.


    There was another man standing next to them with a long sword waiting to eliminate them. His hair was white in color and he has a scar below his left eye. His eyes were very dark and scary. his eye was a special one that casts a spell on the person the caster wants to and if a person were to look into his eyes they would lose their own sight.


    Suddenly, A man who seemed to be a knight, had a fair skin came and shouted "Mougan, what''s a demon like u doing here!" said the man. He seemed to be someone of a very high esteem and also seemed very powerful and unaffected by the power of Mougan''s left eye. He had two swords which looked ordinary but the moment he put his hands on those swords the power that the sword was emitting was a sight to behold.     The queen held the baby. She ordered Capheus to take the baby from her hands. Capheus was hesitant but he knew that they didn''t have time to waste. He had to run with the baby and the queen had to stay back and buy them time otherwise the enemies would catch up to them and they all would die.


    "Trust me capheus there is no other way. I failed to protect my own child to give him a happy family to raise him to be a good and handsome boy. At least let me make it up to him by sacrificing my life, please capheus".


    She wanted to be by his side, she wanted to watch him grow so badly yet she knew she couldn''t even if she was to escape. Her son would grow up without a father or any siblings. He would have no family.


    She had no other option, capheus was a close and trusted friend of the king and queen. He was also the general of the royal army. There was no one else that could protect her son as safely as Capheus.


    Capheus, seeing how broken the queen was knew that he had to obey her last order so he proceeded to take the baby from the queen''s hand but before he did...

 The Escape

    "My queen I swear on the throne that I ''Capheus'' will protect the royal prince with my life".


    "Good, now escape from here. Don''t ever come back here" The queen said it seemed as if she wanted to say more but the speed of Capheus was too fast as he had already disappeared from sight.


    It was at this time that the queen heard lots and lots of footsteps rushing towards her. She knew this was it.


    The demons that mougan had ordered to retrieve the baby, came but they couldn''t find any baby and they saw the queen, and ruthlessly killed her. They began to search the whole area.


    "My husband, I''ll be able to see you soon," She said as tears mixed with blood soon fell from her beautiful white eyes.


    Capheus was running as fast as he could. He didn''t look back even once, he ran and ran until he was exhausted.


    He had to rest. He started to look for a village. It was starting to get dark and he didn''t feel safe with the baby in the dark so he increased his speed of searching.


    Soon a village came to his sight from far away. It looked desolate and it has quite a few houses. The village was covered by fences that were made of bamboo. There seemed to be no one around but there was fire still burning outside the village, as well as on the entrance which indicated that people lived there.


    Capheus decided to approach the village as he had no other option.


    Capheus decided to put up a barrier around the village which meant that as long as no one stronger than him came no one would be able to see or sense the village. This was done in order to prevent anyone from finding them and also Capheus was a good man in heart because he did not want to drag the lives of the villagers into this, that was also another reason why he put out up a barrier around the village.Stolen story; please report.


    Capheus needed a place to hide but from the looks of it, all the villages seemed to have people living inside them. Capheus didn''t know what to do. Now it was at this time that Capheus sensed something.


    Capheus looked at the place where he was able to sense something and soon he saw a figure staring at him.


    "Who are you? Why are you here ?" The figure asked him in a deep and demanding voice.


    "My name is-" Capheus had decided that he would make a fake identity as he did not want to reveal his true self because of the situation in the kingdom but before he could even begin his life the figure spoke up.


    "Aren''t you Capheus the Great General of the Royal Army? What are you doing here ?" As soon as he asked that and seeing the condition that Capheus was in he knew what had happened.


    "The kingdom has fallen hasn''t it ?" Asked the figure once again to capheus.


    Capheus was surprised he didn''t think that anyone here would recognize him as this was a very secluded place and by his senses, the person in front of him seemed to know a lot of things and he seemed to be strong.


    "Yes, the kingdom had indeed fallen," Said Capheus pain mixed with his voice."


    "That boy could it be ?" The person asked in a very surprised voice.


    "Yes, he is the royal prince and the last remaining heir to the southern royal family".


    Said capheus he could have lied about the baby''s origin but the person in front of him seemed to be someone he could trust and that is what he needed right now so he decided to be honest with the man in front of him.


    "I need your help please I''m being chased by the enemy I need a place to hide please this was the last order the queen gave me I have to complete it". Capheus decided to come clean about the fact that they were being chased as he thought that this person would be able to help them.


    "I am still under and will always be under the southern crown.


    My name is Asahi Reo. Come you can rest at ease I will also put up a barrier with our two barriers combined no one will find us".


    These words were Luke melody to capheus''s ears he had been fighting and running for so long he was tired and on the verge of collapse but now he could finally be at ease.


    And like that with the help of the person who capheus learned was the village leader capheus and the royal prince was able to live in the secluded village.

 Misty

    Capheus was very good at healing magic alongside his attacking abilities. To be useful to the people of the village, he decided that he would heal the villagers for showing their generosity towards him and ryousei.


    He healed many dangerous diseases, which shocked people and even Asahi was shocked to see such miraculous healing ability.


    Capheus was praised by the people. Some people even said that he is sent by God to help them. Capheus gained their trust also in a few years.


    Asahi had a girl child named Misty she is a beautiful child with golden hair and blue eyes. Her hobby was to visit new and different places. Because she was still a young girl, she was not allowed to roam freely without any elder.


    She had only one wish, to go outside of the village and see the outer world. She was fond of the outer world because she was told stories of various places and incidents that took place there.


    When she first met ryousei, she thought to herself " Elders say me not to go alone, but what if I have someone else of my age with me." She wondered what it would be like to have a friend, with whom she can share her wonderful stories and play around with him.


    She was very excited to have a friend. Ryousei, on the other hand, would always stay away from strangers as Capheus advised him. He loved Capheus so dearly that he started calling him ''Father''. But Capheus thought it wouldn''t be right for a prince to call him ''Father''. So he said This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.


    "Ryousei, I''m not your Father and I can never be such a great man like him. U can call me Uncle because I''m a friend of his."


    Ryousei started calling him uncle after that. One day Ryousei with a confused mind asked Capheus while he was treating his patients "Where is my father, Uncle?" Capheus knew the time would come one day, but Ryousei is still a small kid, so if he reveals the fact that his mother and father died protecting him and their kingdom, the child''s future will be destroyed.


    "Your Father and Mother went for a long journey keeping you in my care," Said Capheus hiding his face from Ryousei. But Capheus never revealed that he was a knight and Ryousei was a prince.


    Capheus would often call Misty to meet Ryousei, though ryousei never wanted to meet her. But Misty was very agitated to be friends with him. Seeing Misty is the only kid in that village, Ryousei had to be friends with her. Misty was very happy when they became friends, but soon Ryousei also came to like her company.


    Misty told Ryousei about her likes and dislikes. She also said to him that, she has a place in mind she wants to go. But she was not allowed to go there without any elder accompanying her.


    Ryousei promised Misty that he would take her there with or without elders. Ryousei went back to Capheus and said him about Misty, and the promise he made her.


    Capheus was happy for Ryousei, as he had a friend. This could lift off his mind from thinking about his parents and concentrate on his current life.


    "Don''t worry my boy, I will take both of you there tomorrow itself," said Capheus with an expression of joy.


    He thought to himself "My lord (Ryousei), you are just like your father, falling for a girl at such a young age." He gave a huge sigh and laughed with joy.


    "I wish you could see your son growing instead of me," said Capheus with a sad tone.


    "I swear I will protect him from all and any danger," said Capheus with a sincere expression.

 Trip to the peach tree

    Next day,


    Capheus went to Asahi''s house, and asked permission to take Misty with him on a tour. "If it''s with you, then there is no one else who can take care of her more."


    Misty was a bit shocked for him to trust Capheus so much in few years, that he is letting her go so easily with him. Capheus took Misty''s hand and then called Ryousei. Ryousei was asleep, but he woke up when Misty called him.


    Capheus sighed a bit and thought "He indeed is the son of Ren Yamazaki".


    Ryousei came and held Misty''s hand.


    They started their small trip. "What kind of place is it that caught Misty''s mind? Is it really that special?" Capheus asked Misty in a taunting manner.


    "You will see when we reach," said Misty with a smile.


    After a walk of several miles, they reached the place. From far it looked like an ordinary peach tree, but when you look closely you can actually see a beautiful scenery behind it. There is a river near the tree filled with mysterious animals that looked like they were from another world.


    But the only problem was that it was out of the barrier made by Capheus and Asahi. "This could be dangerous," thought Capheus to himself.


    But Ryousei and Misty were so excited that they ran towards it leaving Capheus behind. Now, Capheus had no choice but to follow them and look out for anything or anyone suspicious.


    The peaches looked very delicious and had a very nice color to it. Misty climbed the tree to collect peaches, while Ryousei was watching the scenery behind the tree.


    There were lots of creatures. There were golden fishes ,white tigers with black stripes on its body, and black panthers with purple eyes. It was his very first experience. He was so amazed by the beauty, that he became unaware of his surroundings.

    Ryousei wanted to stay a little longer but Capheus took Ryousei and Misty with him saying that it was dangerous to stay in a place far from the village. And brought them back with him to the village.


    Ryousei made Capheus promise him that he and Misty will be brought here every month. Capheus seeing Ryousei so happy, was forced to promise that he would bring them back to the peach tree every month.


    After returning, Misty ran towards Asahi and said him that the peach tree was very beautiful and that next time he also should accompany them next time.


    Asahi calmed her down and said, "I''m the village chief I can''t leave my people alone in the village". Misty was a bit disappointed but she didn''t say anything. She knew the chances of him coming was very less.


    Seeing her broken heart, Asahi decided that he will join them the next time. Misty became very happy hearing her father would accompany them. She gave a huge hug to Asahi.


    Capheus called Asahi away from the kids and said: "The barrier has to be strengthened every month else we can be in danger".


    Asahi asked without any second thought "What do you need to strengthen the barrier."


    "Give me some time, I will collect the ingredients myself from the jungle," replied Cahpeus.


    "Then I will entrust this matter to your hands," said Asahi with a happy expression.


    "Ryousei, I will be heading out tomorrow, I have to get some ingredients," said Capheus with a smile.


    Next day, Capheus went into the forest searching for the ingredients.


    The ingredients he was searching for were rare. But its a different story in forests. There are lots of beasts.


    There are 3 levels for a Mage, which are further divided into 3 different tiers. Every tier has a unique capability and strength. Magic consumes Mana. Mana is very important to a Mage. Without it, a Mage is nothing more than an average person.


    There are 4 levels for a Mage.


    Mage level 1 is known as a beginner which has 3 tiers.


    Mage level 2 is an Elite Mage, which is further divided into 3 tiers.


    Mage level 3 is a Warrior Mage, further divided into 3 tiers.


    Mage level 4 is a Golden Mage, which is further divided into 3 tiers.


    Capheus is a Warrior Mage, Tier - 1.


    Capheus searched for cores of the beasts.


    Cores are items that are present within the beasts and have an unimaginable price with the increase in their Magic level.


    He wandered for days but the beasts he could find are of magic level 1. The cores of these are valuable only if you have lots and lots of them. Capheus had a special ring gifted to him by the king.


    It was a Spacial ring. These rings can store many items. These rings are rare and only rich peoples have them.


    He collected many level 1 core. His ring has a space of 1000 meters. Half of his ring was filled with level 1 cores. " Though these cores are mostly useless, it may help me in healing people." thought Capheus and collected the cores.

 The Magical Beast

    Capheus kept on exploring the forest. He kept looking and finally found a huge beast sleeping in a cave near a river. The beast had two small babies.


    It was a level 6 magic beast. It was a white tiger with black stripes. Its paws were big and the nails looked very sharp and long. It looked injured on the back. It was bleeding from sword cuts which looked fresh. " I don''t have to worry, after all its a 600-year-old beast." I couldn''t have possibly killed it if it were a 900 or 1000-year-old beast.


    The babies were asleep. Capheus came near the beast crouching, so that the beast would not notice him and he can kill the beast without any harm to himself. He came closer and closer, and that''s when he heard a voice speaking to him in his mind.


    "Why are you here, Human?" said the voice. "Who are you?" replied Capheus with a question back. The voice answered, "I am the tiger that is in front of you." Capheus was shocked at the reply. He knew that these beasts could talk at will but never knew they could talk telepathically even with humans.


    Capheus calmed himself and asked, "Why are you not killing me, if you saw me already?" The beast replied, "I''m too weak to even move right now I could not fight back even if you attacked me". "But I''m after your core," said Capheus with a serious face. "I will die soon and you can have my core, but promise me this, that you will take care of my babies."


    Capheus promised to protect the babies. He took the core from the beast after it passed away. And carried the babies in his arms and headed straight back to the village.


    "Ah, it''s already getting dark. I have to find shelter." thought Capheus to himself.


    Capheus was standing near a river. He thought that if he followed its direction, he might be able to find something. Capheus followed the river for half an hour, when he could see a person lying there wounded near a tent.


    He hurried there with the babies and took out a herb from his spatial ring, and after mixing with water from the nearby river he gave it to the wounded man.     The herb that Capheus took out was a herb grown in special conditions personally by Capheus himself. If he were to sell it he might get a 1000 golds for it.


    The common currency in the kingdom is silver coins and gold coins with crystals being the highest in currency.


    "Who are you? And why were you attacked?" asked Capheus with concern.


    "I''m Hirako, a merchant from the east. I thank you for saving my life. I was attacked by a strange animal that could vanish within a blink of an eye. It had cold blue eyes, with a huge white body." said Hirako with a scared face.


    "Here take these gold coins as a gratitude for saving my life," said Hirako kindly.


    Capheus refused to accept it, but he was forced to keep them anyway. "If there''s anything that I can help you with, Please do not hesitate to come to my place."


    Hirako gave Capheus a green ring and said: "Whenever you need something, you can contact me through this ring."


    Next morning,


    Hirako headed out towards east with his belongings. Capheus fed the baby tiger with some of the meats that he collected from beasts. And then headed towards the village. He reached after a few hours.


    Everyone was busy with their daily schedules. But when they saw Capheus they were very happy. Capheus met with Asahi and Ryousei. Capheus gifted one tiger cub each to both Ryousei and Misty.


    While Misty and Ryousei were playing with their new pets, Capheus called Asahi aside to say him about the incident in the forest. He also showed him the level 6 core from the dead beast. Asahi was very happy to see an actual level 6 core. Usually, when he used to hunt for beasts the maximum level core he could find was a level 5 beast''s core.


    Cores help to create potions and enhance armors and swords. People trade these items to get money in rural areas. In rural areas, people are mostly busy hunting. As that''s the only way to have food if there''s no money.


    Asahi was very happy seeing a level 6 core. Asahi told Capheus that he will make an enhanced armor for Capheus. Capheus kept the other lower level cores with himself as he had decided to make potions for his patients.


    Ryousei and Misty gave each of their baby tigers their own names


    Ryousei called his one Rei while Misty decided to call her new pet Dew as it had a connection to her name and it was also a girl while Ryousei''s was a boy.


    Beasts, if taken care of properly can be pretty powerful without any training. Beasts have long life span. Some special types live more than 1000 years. The more aged the beast is the the more power it gains. The beast''s powers is double of what humans achieve through training.


    Even if the beast is a level 1 magical beast, it has power that equals to a level 2 mage.


    Capheus was happy to see that they got a new mate to play with. Capheus also knew that if the Rei is loyal to Ryousei, Rei will protect his beloved master with his own life.
