《Armorless Knight》 Chapter 0 A knight, from time to time always wore armor regardless in combat or in patrol. This is a story where an armorless knight rose up to fulfil his prophecy It all began from a test of trusts between brothers and friend telling a conflict in agony. Ed¡¯s body slammed to the ground as dark aura with a dark skeleton face rose up to the sky as it slowy moved away from Ed¡¯s body and berformet¡¯s soul divided into 12 pieces and scattered throughout the world because a deity¡¯s soul cannot be completely gone. Then Ed¡¯s body disintegrated as his soul will never reach the afterlife as the cost for using soul bind. Deep in the forest entrance not quite far from the battlefield there Roland has been teleported back into safety with Ed¡¯s sword in his hands. He wakes up, took his and Ed¡¯s sword and realising the battle is over, he and Ed won the war but not without the great sacrifice performed by his only friend. He cried as he walked down the road while realising that his friend has sacrificed his entire life and afterlife to save millions of people. He stumbles out from the dark forest were there lies remnants of Claumonet¡¯s skeleton army lying on the ground further boosts the nostalgia feeling when he was with his dear friend. He then reached the capital and pronounced hero by the people his friend had saved. As the crowd cheering for him upon his return his face is still written with grief of how his true friend gave up his live to millions save others including his powerless self. He was knighted as the head of the 12 paladin order by the king himself and rewarded him with lots of wealth. He took on a bitter feeling upon accepting the rewards how he was not the true hero and begging himself to tell everyone the truth, then he remembers his solemn promise to a true friend. Onto the end of the parade he saw Ed¡¯s wife and rushed quickly to her while carrying Ed¡¯s sword. He gave the sword to her as he trembling for what incident that he just had. After the purge, Roland made a resolve to use all of his rewards, wealth and dedication to build an academy so that young knights, alchemists, and casters can learn to value their lives that has been sacrificed to save others and also to nurture the skill that each individual possess for the next potential upcoming threat. Chapter 1 16 years after the incident, a new fresh breath has started for the kingdom. This age is the mark of a new age, the age of enlightement. After the Torrelia Kingdom¡¯s first academy sprouted 16 years ago by the name Barrelia Academy many similar academies appeared on the kingdom. Torrelia kingdom has been in golden age ever since, their economy, prestige, and science is on the top level and labelled as the most advance kingdom today.
