The Various races have started to spawn, soon they will start to reproduce and build. It looks like a matching eco system of earth, perfect. Eve how close is the nearest sentient life form. Eve- South at 200 miles is a small village of Elves, additional 300 miles from that lies a settlement of Dragon kin. To the east 230 miles there is a flock of dragons. The sun reaches its peak, Kenjinn is walking around in the valley, enjoying the breeze and serenity near a river. His body feels no hunger or thirst, he spends his time enjoying the perfect view. This world is perfect with zero pollutants, Animals roam and are naturally friendly towards Kenjinn. The world has abundant wild life, perfect foundations to build his home. Kenjinn- Eve, can you pull up a grid of the mountain cove. The cove is quite massive stretching from one end of the valley to the other with perfect defensible properties. Eve- Now displaying the requested grid. Kenjinn- Oh perfect 5x5miles, a nice open field to build, easy access to a deep and wide river, I¡¯m going to build a port city here. Eve- Master, how would you like to go about building the city? Kenjinn- Eve I want to refrain from making anything instantly, I have all the time anyone would ever need. Eve- that is correct master, I believe you are implying you will build it with your own hands. Kenjinn-Every stone and brick will be placed by me. Let¡¯s get started¡­. Time lapse- Kenjinn spends his early days building the facilities needed to construct the city and a small place to live while he builds. First to be built Is a small log cabin 900sqft in total with a living room, kitchen, Dining room. Next is the Smithy to create tools, followed by a quarry for stone at the base of the mountain, next is a mine directly in the mountain face for gathering ores and gems. Time flies by as Kenjinn learns to master each craft required to build a city this takes years, as time continues to pass, city construction is going smoothly. Paved roads lead to a 50-foot-tall fortress wall surrounding the city Carved with Magic runes for added strength. Massive Gates 5 feet thick made with reinforced Mithril. Open into an inner area called area 1, that could be used as a check point for cargo and access to the docks. Area 1 houses General market and trade area, storage and auction houses and inns followed by guard housing, residential housing and the main attraction the port. Area 2 is small and holds noble housing and the main castle and higher end residential housing for merchants and affluent people. Each house regardless of quality has a fully working bathroom and kitchen with running water hot and cold, each house includes at least two bedrooms. Some builds are made larger than others as they are meant to hold different family sizes and or businesses. The streets are lines with underground water ways and sewers leading to a sewage cleaning pit filled with magic runes, this city will produce next to no waste. The streets are lined with small cheery trees followed up by a lantern post housing a light crystal mined from nearby. Kenjinn- Wow I¡¯m almost done, I want to include some general worker golem and guard golems, Eve can you take care of that I¡¯m beat, I really lost track of time there. Eve- Golems are being constructed and set to tasks as requested master. Kenjinn- Eve I feel like it¡¯s been a bit of time, I¡¯m afraid to ask but I kind of tunneled versioned while working, how long as it been? It would seem the races have formed a coalition and have cobbled together a shabby city, they seem to be getting along with the newly born races sharing knowledge and resources, they are in the early stages of city building Kenjinn- that¡¯s great to hear I didn¡¯t expect that to happen for quite some time. Eve- there seems to be a competing faction that is made up of rogue elements of the other races. Would you like me to research this further? The information I have gathered so far is that the races have a base concept of a divine creator, they argue over if it¡¯s a he or she and what race you are. The fact they think your limited by such petty things is proof of their ignorance. Master the probes have started to relay a bit of data. It looks like the city is suffering from diseases, they are barely keeping it in check with primitive holy magic. They lack the infrastructure to maintain sanitation. Early Morning with a slight chill in the air, Kenjinn is enjoying a cup of lightly roasted coffee, all while surveying the recently completed City. the city is vast containing a few thousand buildings. The city should house around 100,000-300,000 citizens. Kenjinn- Eve has the probe made contact? Eve- No master is has taken on a complete bio-shell and is a 90% organic copy, the remaining 10% is its A-I interface and corresponding data bases on the following fields of study, Engineering, farming, Alchemy, construction, and all-race medical knowledge. Kenjinn- If only they knew how much, potential the probe has, by the way eve, it can¡¯t be referred to a probe the whole time has it been given a name. Eve- the probe has been given the name Kin, master. It will slowly give advice and help advance the scientific understanding. This will lead to a cleaner, healthier population. It would appear the poorer populace is dying off from disease. The death rate would be 10-15 a day. I believe it will take five to six months for Kin to implement several changes that should reduce the causalities by 85%. Kenjinn- that¡¯s good to hear. In a medium sized village far removed from city living. An assortment of people lives here, it¡¯s mostly due to low tax rate and cleaner conditions than most cities even coalition-city. the village is surrounded with Wooden spike for walls, with a few defensive towers around the boarder. The village consists of a mixed populace containing elves, demi-humans, dwarfs, with some of the high races included. The houses are a mix of mud huts with a few of the wealthier houses made from wood and stone. the village councils¡¯ building is made with a stone base and wooden walls with a clay tile roof. It¡¯s the largest building in the village housing 100 members. Its 6:00am and the elder council members are meeting to discuss the current crisis plaquing its people. we¡¯ve lost another trade caravan, we can¡¯t sustain these losses for much longer. The increase in monster activity is driving us to collapse. One of the elder members voices the current situation to his fellow members. Random elder- So, we are agreed on increasing the watch and recruiting more adventures to handle security for the caravans. Numbers seem to be pushing the races into their cities as a means of survival. As several Carriages and carts move ever closer to the city, they must stay on high alert as they know these carriages are like a tasty treat for monsters or bandits. Balthor- thinks to his self- We¡¯ve already lost two guards during night patrol. We searched for an hour for remains and found nothing but blood trails, what am I going to tell their family¡¯s we have nothing to bury. Random scout guard- Sir heavy patrol coming bearing the cities flag, I think we finally will have a break. It seems they are escorting merchants to the city. Balthor- O, blessed be, this will be a huge help. As a huge patrol gets closer they start laying out a defensive formation around the carts and carriages. Random knight- who¡¯s in charge here. Balthor- I Am, I¡¯m part of break falls village council, this is our third attempt at trying to reach the city this year. Random knight- this if the forth Caravan we escorted to the city this week and many have similar stories. The city has been sending out patrols and has reduced the number of monsters in the surrounding areas, it would seem we haven¡¯t reached out far enough for the effects to be felt. This is indeed troubling, we can¡¯t seem to put a dent in these bastards. Balthor- Yeah, we¡¯ve lost 15 men and another 10 heavily injured this year. we are going to have to put up more adventure requests, its bringing our village to ruin. You could always hire a band of mercenaries, a lot of them are putting out contracts for a year period, but they aren¡¯t cheap either, you get more of the veterans this way. Just sell them through the normal process in the guild and they will be passed along to the different knight¡¯s orders.
