《Tales of Ofir》 The Time I Went To An Old Castle Tales of Ofir - The Time I Went To An Old Castle Part 1 Long ago while traveling the land, I came across an old Castle in the distance, closer by were some caravans camped, so I went to them. The caravans were set up in a circle and in the middle they had a bonfire lit with a spit above it with some stew inside. Once I got closer a man beckoned me forward and asked ¡°What are you doing traveling the roads at this hour? Come sit with us¡± There were five caravans and about a dozen people, probably traveling merchants. ¡°I''m a traveler¡± I answered ¡°And there isn''t much in these woods that scares me¡± ¡°HA, I like you kid, names Amplus, you?¡± Amplus was a large muscular man, blonde short hair with a trimmed beard, his name meant ¡®The largest¡¯. ¡°Ofir¡± ¡°Nice name, but why are you out here?¡± ¡°I like to travel, see the world, meet interesting people¡± ¡°Well nothing special about us, but I hope you enjoy our company, here eat some stew and I''ll tell you a story¡± I took the stew he offered and listened to the places he''s been to, nothing to exotic but I saw that it meant a lot to him that I listened. Eventually I asked him about the castle. ¡°What''s the story with the abandoned castle?¡± ¡°You don''t know the tale of the forgotten King?¡± Amplus asked surprised ¡°Then let me tell you. Long ago there was a prosperous kingdom in this land and it''s king was loved by all, the king was old and wanted to protect his people so he looked for someway to safeguard his land, he called to his land many a smart people, wizards and knights and everything in between, but none had solutions that satisfied him. One day a ragged priest can to his court and showed the king magic unlike anything he has seen before, the king was convinced that he could use this power to help his people and so he begged the priest to tell him his secrets, the priest smiled to him and said ¡®This power is a gift from my God¡¯, the king asked him who he follows and the priest responded ''My God is very old and very powerful, but he doesn''t give favors for free¡¯, ''Anything!!¡¯ exclaimed the king offering land and riches, but the priest shook his head ''All my God wants is loyalty, and one drop of blood¡¯ offering the king a dagger, the king considered the priests offer all the while his advisors told him to decline, ''Enough!¡¯ he said ''I agree to your offer¡¯ and he took the dagger and pricked his finger, letting one drop of blood fall to the floor, the priest smiled and told the king that his God will contact him shortly and he left. Few moons passed before one evening the king heard a voice in his mind, one he could not understand yet he obeyed. The king unknowingly made a pact with an old God, one of madness and horror, and under its influence the kingdom fell but the king remained, forever protecting the kingdom he destroyed¡± ¡°Damn, quite the tale, is it true?¡± ¡°It happened 400 years ago, I doubt he''s still alive¡± ¡°I face strange things, but a king possessed by a God, that I haven''t tried yet¡± ¡°Don''t tell me you''re considering going there?!¡± ¡°Not tonight¡± ¡°Come now, let''s speak not of old legends, tell me if your travels instead¡± So we spoke no more of the old king, and for the rest of the night I told him of my travels. The next morning I packed my thing and prepared to set off. ¡°Good morning¡± Amplus said cheerfully ¡°To you too¡± ¡°Where are you headed?¡± ¡°The old castle¡± ¡°You still plan on going there! After what I told you¡± ¡°Amplus, my friend, if I didn''t go I wouldn''t be true to my nature¡± ¡°And what is that, pray tell?¡± ¡°To go where no one will go, and kill whatever''s there¡± ¡°I wish you luck Ofir, may our paths cross again¡±If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it. I bid him farewell and set off towards the old ruins. Part 2 As I walked towards the old ruins I thought of what Amplus told me, of and old king killing anyone who gets to close. I started to notice that I couldn''t hear any animals, no birds chirping or critters scuffling, never a good sign, but I carried onwards not letting such signs scare me. When I got there I stopped in front of a large stone arch, into it were carved images showing peasants, soldiers and nobles all passing through an arch, signifying that all who pass here are equal, a nice touch that showed you how the city used to be, now it means that all who enter are equal but not in rank but in that they won''t survive. I followed the main road from the arch towards the castles front gates, I stood in front of them and admired then, they were two large wooden gates, with carvings of different people and animal, a true masterpiece, to bad no one can see it today, I opened them and walked in. Ever since I walked through the arch I felt as if something was watching me, but now in the main hall it was stronger. The main hall was a large stone room with balconies across the sides, on them were the twisted remains of stone statues, long ago the place was beautiful but that has long passed. I continued from the main hall into the throne room, a half circle with two small balconies on the sides and six pillars, three on each side, holding up the room, the throne sat atop a few wide stairs, and on the throne I saw what looked like a stone statue of a king, he wore a crown that list it''s shine long ago, and fine clothes filled with dust, he wore a heavy red cape that made him seem even smaller, his eyes were closed and he had a long gray beard, in his hands he held a claymore which he leaned on. I looked around and saw nothing move, nothing trying to kill me. ¡°That''s it? I was expecting a fight¡± The king didn''t move. ¡°So you should out you kingdom, led it to ruin, all for power and now you won''t even use it, come on!¡± Still the king did not move. Angered I moved towards him and whispered into his ear ¡°I know you''re awake, I can feel it¡± Instinct took over as I jumped back to avoid his claymore. ¡°Why do you disturb me, I was trying to save you¡± he said in a hollow echoing voice. ¡°That''s where you''re wrong, I''m here to help you, put you out of your misery¡± ¡°Boy, you are not the first to come before me and you will not be the last¡± He swung his sword again but this time I tried to block it, the blow sent me backwards forcing the breath from my lungs, bad idea to take him head on I realized. ¡°Say your last words, pray to your God''s, for you are not long for this world¡± I ran behind one of the pillars in the room And shouted ¡°My last words are defiance, my God''s is my sword, and you, I''ve faced worse, I traveled the desert of a thousand souls...¡± He swung his sword knocking the pillar down as I ran to the next ¡°I navigated the lost woods...¡± He hit the second pillar wrecking it ¡°I survived the shadows of Nazari...¡± He threw his claymore this time, I narrowly dodged it as it went through the third pillar and I ran to the fourth ¡°I navigated the dark storm that bests all sailors...¡± He pulled out his sword destroying another pillar ¡°So if you want a piece of me, well, come get some¡± I mocked him The king frustrated ran forward with his blade planning on skewing me. I dodged to the side slashing the tendons on his leg forcing him to kneel while his sword got logged off the fourth pillar ¡°You are a most admirable adversary, quick on your feet and skilled with a sword..¡± He started to get up, his leg already healing ¡°But to stand against me you need more..¡± He pulled his claymore out of the pillar fracturing it ¡°Face me and test you metal against mine, lol let us...¡± The roof started collapsing and I ran back into the main hall. When the first settled I looked back to see a pile of rubble and nothing more ¡°Wait for it¡± And right on que the king erupted from the rubble tossing precise of it aside ¡°You dare! You dare destroy MY palace¡± ¡°Not only do I dare, I don''t really care what you think¡± I ran towards him with my blade in hand, utilizing the small window I had before here regain his senses. I got close to him but he was not as weakened as I hoped and he grabbed me by my throat trying to choke me to death luckily I was close enough and I thrust my sword piercing his chest and heart. He let me go and started to fall ¡°How can a mere mortal defeat one such as i, you surprise me boy and you kept your promise to release me¡± ¡°You mistake was that you saw me as a foe, and adversary, me, I saw you as another ¡®thing¡¯ to kill¡± ¡°Ha, for what I did I became a monster, I sold my soul to some dark God and paid the price, but you, a full human, nothing special about you, no deals, no mystic weapon, you scare me more then that god ever did, you are a true monster, not made, but one born of battle and blood, one day someone will come to put you down¡± ¡°Maybe, maybe not, but that is not your concern, rest now king your reign is over¡± And as I finished my last words to him I swung my blade cleaving his head from his body. As I left the palace I heard a whisper in my ear ¡°You who killed my champion, I praise you for your feat, allow me to give you a boon for your trials¡± ¡°Not interested¡± ¡°How dare you turn your head from me mortal, I am the great and terrifying...¡± I long ago leart how to keep thing out of my head, and honestly this god is one of the weaker voices i''ve faced. With the king finally dead, and the land purged from his darkness I decided to continue onward with my travels, searching for my next adventure. End The Time I Visited A Temple As I arrived back to the temple I saw outside sitting on the grass a priestess with a dozen children sitting on the grass. I was in no hurry so I decided to see what they are doing. She was teaching them scripture and stories of the Gods, of how the world came to be and in who you should believe. As I got closer I recognized her, Antistita, she was young and beautiful, her whole life ahead of her, and she chose a life of faith and devotion, I don''t understand why but most would say the same about me, so who am I to judge. The was telling them the story of creation (according to the doctrine of Dolus the prophet) ¡°Long ago, after the old one fell to slumber, back when the world was dark, and everything lived in fear, for monster roamed the land, great beasts that no one could defeat, but one decided to defy this existence, she wanted more from life then fear, and so she prayed, against the darkness and evil around her she prayed, and from her belief an old one heard her in it''s dreams and conjured a saviour for her. One night as she lay praying a cloaked figure came to her and asked her why she seems so sad, she answered ¡°I see sadness and fear around me and I pray to salvation that we will rise above it¡±. He told her ¡°Do not worry for your prayers have been heard and your heart judged pure, and my own heart yours, join me and we shall give light to the world and you will be it''s soothing queen¡±. The stranger removed his cloak revealing his true self before her, a glowing towering man pure a fresh snow. She took his hand and his glow extended to her and her goodness allowed her to sit in his light. Together they rid the world of monsters, forcing them to retreat to the shadows, where the pure light would not burn them, the stranger and the woman were crown King and queen of the new world, the called him Lucidanus, which means unshadowed, for he brought us light, and she was given the name Piustalia, which means the believer, for her faith saved us all, and after many years they ascended to up high to watch over us forever. This is the story of the first gods and how they saved us, they later had children like Kambatil god of war and Khileran goddess of healing.¡± I started clapping ¡°Good story, well structured¡± ¡°Do you have something you would like to say¡± she asked me angrily ¡°No no, I''m just enjoying you story, quite entertaining¡± ¡°It is not supposed to be entertaining, it is the history of our world¡± ¡°There your wrong, you''re missing a few details¡± ¡°Oh, and you would like to fill them in?¡± She was quite annoyed by me at this pointIf you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. ¡°Listen, Antistita was it, I mean no disrespect¡± ¡°No no, please fill us in on the truth¡± ¡°All right, if you insist, it all started long ago, before gods old and new, back when the world was young, life appeared and nothing could stop it, trees grew and grass sprouted and small little creatures started to appear, but alongside this larger stronger ones came too, they fought each other so only the strong survived, these were the first monsters, not because they were born as such but because the became such. At some point humans arrived, from where and how is lost to time, and they were weak, afraid and had no chance against these creatures, so they prayed¡± ¡°See¡± she cut me off ¡°The gods answered those prayers¡± she finished smugly ¡°Akto mala, akto xoli gron ¡± I replied. She was shocked, her jaw opened ¡°How do you know those words? They are sacred prayer¡± ¡°You don''t even understand your own prayers, do you?¡± I chuckled ¡°It means ''Take my neck, don''t take my belly¡¯, it a sign of submission, can I continue?¡± She gave me an angry look ¡°Ok, as I was saying, they prayed to anything, some prayed to the sun others to the moon, to spirits and mountains and everything in between, and some prayed to the monsters, that''s where that prayer comes from, the hoped that they could appease these creatures, and sometimes it worked, they became the old gods, the monsters that enjoyed worship, but many didn''t and continued be what they were, monster. Over time some of these old gods began to trust certain humans and bequeathed power onto them, when there were enough of them they overthrew the old gods and killed many monsters, forcing the survivors into hiding, they declared themselves the new gods, and the people accepted them without question, and prayed to there saviours. But children there is still one question that everyone forgets to ask: what was before the gods and monsters? There was a song, a simple beautiful song that no one could hear, and to its tune the world came to be, and those that hear it can become more than what they are, it''s what allowed the first monsters to become so strong and allowed the first gods to be divine, and if you listen closely you may hear it, a song sung since the beginning, an unknown song that few can hear, but those who do must follow it wherever it takes them, for the song only stops at the end of their journey, and this song is not for our ears, listen for to long and you lose yourself, the monsters knew it so they listened and became great beasts, the gods listened and they became divine, and if one of you hears it go, for what''s at the end no one knows¡± By now Antistita was livid ¡°The nonsense you spew borders on hearsay, the unknown song is an attempt at undermining the divinity of the gods¡± ¡°You''re right, you''re right, it''s this the old ones who made then such, better our gods come from monsters then from mortals, but wasn''t Piustalia human once?¡± ¡°She was special, chosen for the pureness of here heart¡± I chose not to pursue this path as it would lead nowhere ¡°I am not here to debate faith, I simply wish to collect the bounty for the Beluat¡± And I pulled out of the large sack a head of a creature resembling a bear and a deer with four small horns and four eyes. ¡°Nasty bastards, but they cant resist cheese, set up a trap and there easy prey¡± Antistita and the children looked at me shocked, the couldn''t believe that i had the head of the monster that terrorized them for weeks. ¡°Don''t worry kids, she didn''t lay and cubs, and this¡± I held up her head ¡°is a small monster¡± Beluat stand at 3 meters height and weigh about 600 kg, males are slightly smaller ¡°Real monsters, from long ago, now they are big, trust me you don''t want to meet one, though some are reasonable, but I digress¡± The head priest just came out, astonished at what I held in my hands ¡°H-How did you kill it alone?!¡± he asked me in disbelief ¡°I thought you were joking when you said you can handle it¡± ¡°If it lives it dies and if it moves it can be stopped, now let''s go inside and talk payment¡± ¡°Of course, of course, right this way¡± and as he led me into the temple I bid farewell to Antistita and the children around her. END Journey Through The Lost Woods Long ago while I walked across the land I came by a small village outside of a dark forest. I went into the tavern and got myself a drink and asked the barkeep ¡°What is with the woods outside of town?¡± ¡°Don¡¯t go there boy, everyone who does is never seen again, that''s why we call it the lost woods¡± I was intrigued by his word and decided that tomorrow I¡¯ll go into the woods to explore them myself. The next morning, I woke up early and left for the woods. After a half an hour of walking in the woods I realized that I was lost, but in the distance I heard someone singing. I went closer and there to my surprise I found a small old man with a long pointy nose singing around a fire, even without seeing me he knew I was there. ¡°Come out here young man, play my game, win and you will live, lose and you will die¡± ¡°What is your game?¡± I asked The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there.¡°Answer my riddle and I will let you go¡± ¡°Say your riddle little man, let¡¯s see how good it is? He smiled widely and said ¡°A foolish man walks into the woods after being warned not to go in and told that any who enter die, why did he do it?¡± I thought for a moment and answered ¡°Because he wasn¡¯t afraid¡± ¡°Wrong answer¡± he said as he grew into a large monster with a dozen sharp teeth. He lunged at me but a rolled to the side avoiding his attack, he turned his head to me with anger on his face ¡°I¡¯ll get you¡± he shouted as he ran towards me, but I was ready for him and I ran towards him to, just before he hit me I slid under him and got up and stabbed him in the back with my sword and I said ¡°Is this answer good enough¡±, he couldn¡¯t answer me as blood was coming out of his mouth. He fell to the ground dead and I walked away, half an hour later I found myself on the other side of the woods ¡°Well not so lost after all¡± I chuckled to myself as I continued my journey onward towards the unknown. END The Time I Had A Dinner Party With A Vampire I was led into a room blindfolded and gagged, we stopped and I was forced to my knees and my blindfold was removed. With my sight restored I quickly glanced around the room, observing my surroundings. It was a large room decorated with lavish tapestries and paintings, darkly lit with no sunlight in sight. In front of my at the top of the stairs was a pale man with fine features, long coal black hair and a small beard, he was built well and seemed quite tall, on him he wore fine silk suit, fit for a king, and around me I saw his court, all pale with fine features and Rich clothing like him. The man started walking slowly down the stairs ¡°Hello young man, what brings you to my... Humble abode¡± ¡°Mur mur mur mur¡± ¡°Let him speak¡± the man instructed angrily One of them quickly came and removed the gag from my mouth. ¡°Thanks¡± I told him as I moved my jaw around, being gagged is not pleasant. ¡°As I was saying, mur mur¡± ¡°You jest, in my court, speak quickly before I regret letting you speak at all¡± ¡°Sorry, all in good fun, I mean what''s the worst you¡¯re going to do to me, drink my blood?¡± If he was not angry before he sure was now, all around me faces lit up, their eyes eager with anticipation. ¡°My name is Ofir, I am a traveller forever wandering, and you are?¡± ¡°I am Duke Crusor Garvaluis, owner of this castle and the surrounding province. you were found snooping around my castle, explain yourself and I might let you go¡± ¡°Let''s be honest here Crusor, whatever I say will get me eaten, your court looks like a pack of lion closing on the kill, i''m well aware of what you are, a Plembius, lower class Sagnuis, commonly called vampire¡± ¡°You dare enter my court and insult me such¡± he took a moment to compose himself ¡°kill him¡± and all vampires around me rushed to be the first to sink their teeth. I can tell that they weren''t the smartest bunch as what happened next was their fault for letting me speak ¡°Bin ikh nit deyn gest?¡± and with those words i was safe. See it roughly translates to ¡®am I not your guests?¡¯ and vampires big or small, no matter their class have to follow the rules or else be shunned by their brethren. Crusor turned around to face me and with a sly hateful smile replied ¡°But of course you are, I wouldn''t dream of harming an honored guest, release him and take him to a room¡± I could feel the hate rediate off him but I knew that he would comply, but this was a gamble, as his honored guest he had to see to my need and safety, but in return I cannot afford to insult him or my protection will be revoked, now begins a game of cat and mouse, he¡¯ll need to find a way to make me insult him and I need to find a way out. I was led to a guest room. that looked more expensive than a small village, by one of the female court attendant, she looked ravishing, but thats vampires for you even the weak look good, a mask of there true form. She showed me to my room and after admiring the stunning, albeit gothic, decor I turned around to see the lady release her dress, exposing everything to me. This was my first trap, if I say i''m not interested she takes it as an insult, and if I sleep with her she¡¯ll kill me halfway through and they¡¯ll say she couldn''t control herself and Crusor will receive only minor repercussion for not controlling his sired. ¡°What is your name? If I may ask so¡± ¡°Illectia Garvaluis, my lord¡± ¡°Are you Crusor¡¯s daughter?¡± ¡°That I am¡± ¡°Makes sense actually most vampires either kill their family or turn them, and he sent you to seduce me, so its personal each way¡± Crusor was smarter than I gave him credit, sending his own child, if I sleep with her it¡¯s an insult to him, if I don''t it¡¯s an insult to her, and therefore him, sneaky bastard. ¡°Is there some problem my lord?¡± she asked me worryingly, I nearly believe she cares. ¡°Not at all, but may I ask why you undressed? ¡°Why? Do you not find me attractive, am I so horrid to look at?¡± she asked flashing her alluring eyes, but with a hint of predatory instinct ¡°Not at all, but I don''t believe your father would approve of this¡± She came closer and put her arms around my neck and whispered into my ear ¡°Don''t worry about the old man, this will stay our little secret¡± I saw her fangs grow longer as she moved towards my neck, she bit me and started to drain me of blood. If I were a lesser man I would have done nothing to stop here and enjoy the ecstasy of her venom, alas I am not and so I shoved a syringe into her breast reaching her heart. She immediately stopped and cried in pain, but I covered her mouth to prevent any noise from coming out. She fell unconscious immediately, I picked her up and lay here on my bed. ¡°Now Illectia why would you go and do something like that?¡± I told her as I stroked her hair. She woke up a few minutes later, slightly dazed, but with a bit more color to her skin. She looked around and saw me and asked ¡°What happened?¡± ¡°You slipped and hit your head, are feeling okay?¡± I repliedThe story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. ¡°Yes- yes actually, I feel, alive¡± she said as she kept feeling her skin ¡°Shall we continue from where we left off?¡± she asked but now here eyes lacked the same danger as before ¡°How can I refuse such a request from you¡± I told her as I removed my clothes. Just as we climaxed she bit my shoulder drawing a bit of blood, almost immediately she spat it out and a look of horror came across her face. ¡°What did you do to me?!¡± ¡°Guess¡± ¡°You- you cured me, but that''s not possible, i''m alive, I can feel my heart beat again, and I don''t want to rip out your throat¡± She leaned her head on my chest listening to our heartbeats synchronize. I realized that she was tearing up, so I hugged her and let her cry. After a few minutes she dried her tears ¡°We need to get dressed dinner will start soon and my father will be furious¡± ¡°Don''t worry, you just got your life back, I won''t let him take it away¡± We both got dressed and went to the dining hall for dinner. The dining hall was just as luxurious as the main hall, with similar style in decor. When we arrived all eyes turned to us, they eagerly expected me to mess up somehow and give them a chance to finish their meal. Luckily they were so focused on me that they didn''t even realize that Illectia¡¯s heart was beating. They sat me to the right of the head of the table, a place of great honor, and another test, if I don''t accept it I dishonor Crusor, if I do then I insult whoever sits there normally, forcing me to duel them. With no choice I accepted it and ownly sat down once Crusor sat, preventing another attempt. Not one minute later someone shouts ¡°How dare he take my place without asking me before hand¡± I found my accuser standing at the entrance of the room, he was lean built man with short dark hair and no beard or stubble to speak of, on his belt he wore a sword with a golden handle (I doubt it was ever used in combat). ¡°I challenge you to a duel for your insolence against me, and for sleeping with my fianc¨¦e¡± Now I got it, if I don''t agree it insults Crusor and this man as I slept with Illectia, forcing me to accept, this is why I don''t like nobles. ¡°I accept your duel but on one condition should I win I will receive Illectia¡¯s hand in marriage¡± We both turned to look at Crusor who shrugged and said ¡°Shall you win you may have my daughter¡¯s hand, but know with is a duel to the death, ask not for mercy as you will find none here¡± ¡°I agree¡± ¡°I agree¡± With both of us agreeing to the term we moved outside to the garden, it was night which made it difficult to see but from what I did manage it seem to be filled with thorny plants and decaying trees. We each stepped 10 paces from each other and turned around ¡°I would have you know the name of your killer, cur¡± ¡°I cant promise you I won''t remember it¡± ¡°Insolent blood bag, I am lord Ragbal of -¡± ¡°Sorry to cut you off but... I don''t care, can we start?¡± ¡°I will teach you respect¡± One of the courtiers stood forward and declared that the duel had started. Ragbal rushed forward with his blade ready to impale me, I barely got my dagger out but I managed to deflect it to the side, it meant nothing, he immediately started slashing at me with inhuman speed, as I only managed to block a few of his blows. He saw the blood pouring from my arms, looked satisfied and jumped back ¡°Have you learned your lesson dog, you are a lesser creature then us, did you really think you had a chance?¡± There a thousand ways I can respond to his insults but in a fight never lose focus or you die, and I know how arrogant vampires are. I rushed towards him, he was ready with his blade to deliver the final blow, but I threw my dagger towards him forcing him to deflect it, leaving himself open. I lunged at him pushing us both to the ground, but I was on top of him, I started punching his face and quickly moved his arms to block me to little success, after a few good hits I got up, kicked him in the stomach, and ran to my dagger. He managed to get up and get to his sword ¡°You insultent little grugh...¡± He wasted time speaking, I wasted no time stabbing him in the throat, I pulled out my blade causing him to fall to his knees, I grab him by his hair and cut his head clean off his neck and toss the head to Crusor¡¯s feet. The whole court was in shock of my victory, they thought themselves invincible. Illectia ran forward to check up on me, her eyes filled with worry. I look up at Crusor¡¯s face and see as he starts to realise what I¡¯ve done. ¡°I think it''s time I leave¡± I announce ¡°You come to my house, unannounced nor invited , you sleep with my daughter, kill my man, have the gaul to leave in such a fashion, and now I can see that you have made my Illectia human! You have insulted me a thousand times over, you are not leaving before you pay¡± One of the courtiers runs up holding a massive longsword with saw blade. He rushed towards us ready to strike, we jumped to the side and I pushed Illectia so she would land farther, I turn around and get hit in the gut by Crusor¡¯s fist sending me flying. I barely manage to open my eyes just to see Crusor come over and pick me up by my collar, I reach into my pocket and throw a handful of silver dust straint into his face stunning him, I use the chance and I slice him across the face with my dagger. He reels back in pain, blood from his face dripping everywhere. ¡°If any of you wish to live I suggest you help me now, final offer¡± No one stepped forward, well their loss. Crusor got up and started to walk towards me ¡°I will tear you limb from limb, then bring you back and do it again and again until the end of time, you to daughter of mine, you will share your lovers fate¡± ¡°That''s a little presumptuous duke Crusor, you have to win first¡± ¡°You think that by getting a petty hit like that will save you?¡± ¡°No this will¡± I said holding up my dagger ¡°It may look like a simple dagger, but it''s actually cursed, funny enough this dagger to like to drink blood, and once it starts it''s difficult to make it stop¡± True to my word Crusor looked down at my feet and saw blood from Ragbal¡¯s body flowing towards me, and the blood from his cut started pouring out, the rest of the court shared a similar fate as they all started bleeding heavily from there eyes nose and ears, not a pretty sight. Some tried to attack me, others tried to run, but they all fell from blood loss, lying on the ground waiting to die. I walked over to Crusor who fell to his knees ¡°Hey big man, how you doing?¡± ¡°Is this some game to you, my fate is sealed by your hand, and my family suffers from it too¡± ¡°You used to be a big fish in a small pond, no one noticed you, but you got greedy, and people couldn''t turn their heads any longer¡± ¡°How can this be, I am a superior being, it is my right as a monster to claim this land and all in it, take Illectia for example, she was born a peasant, some farmers daughter, I made her into a creature of power, she could have whatever she wanted, but you turned her back into a pitiful human, pathetic¡± ¡°Maybe, but she will live and you will die, and don''t forget your only a Plembius, that is on the weaker end of the vampire spectrum, and have met monsters and let me give you a piece of advice, miflazot meshotetot, monsters roam¡± Crusor froze up, so I left him to find Illectia and help her backup onto her feet. ¡°So what now?¡± she asked me ¡°Now we walk, to wherever the path may take us¡± END
