《The Story Forgotten》 The beginning P1 Void The unkown being floats in the cosmos, unawakened. It is the one with no name or power, and it stays adrift in the abyss for an unkown time. Light appears every now and then sparking up a new myriad of worlds as it passes uknowingly. Finally billions of years pass as the being is formed within one of these worlds in the center of the abyss. More time goes by as the universe shapes itself creating stars, planets and life to live upon them. As does the world where the being lays the planet begins to form its own core and life. Billions of years pass as civilization sprouts upon this unkown world now known to the inhabitants as Zilzeph. A single town however sprouts in a valley surrounded by moutains that seem to reach the heavens and only a single way in and out.If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it''s taken without permission from the author. At the Age of six he is cast out when his father drinks himself to death and sent out with nothing but a sack of food and the clothes on his back. He travels through wind and snow with the only thing keeping him alive being his willpower. Fianlly when the Mortatec is nothing but skin and bones looking akin to an already dead man, he stumbles upon a cave containg a small egg shaped stone, ash black with small golden specks covering it. The boy feeble as he is and dying huddles against the egg and its unkown warmth it permeates, believing that this will be his last night he accepts death and falls into a deep, never waking slumber. As the boy slowly dies in his sleep the egg rumbles and starts to crack. This crack glows with a dark light and nurishesthe boy bringing warmth and redness back to his cheecks. Crack.....The egg falls apart... {Let me know if you want more} Begining p2 As the egg burst open, a bright light shined and by the pulling of some strings of fate by the gods Moritor''s soul was absorbed in the bright light along with his body. When the light dimmed enough to see the new creature that had been born somewhat snakelike, a monster birthed of scale and death, one with 4, radiant red eyes, black diamond scales, two arms, two tales, and a sinister ridge of spikes poking along its spine from three great goat like horns along it brow ridge. As the creature not quite knowing where and what is happening suddenly has the instinct to eat the remnants of its egg. As the creature finished devouring its shell, it slid slowly across the moist stone and dirt ground. As the creature neared the surface it hissed loudly at the sunlight that streamed through the opening and slid back into the darkness. 3 Hours later... As the sun slowly crawled downward in the sky, the unknown creature slowly slid and clawed its way out of the dank cave toward the town in the midst of the great valley, this because unknown to the snake like creature its soul was still a changed version or Moritor''s whom bore a great resentment for every being living in that forsaken town. Across the ground it moved until finally it moved into the town as the harbinger of death for that night. The creature killed and ate with no one more the knowing and ate everything, children, mother, fathers and not. It Bit it''s victims with long fangs and delivering a potent poison and slowly swallowing them while they lied in silent horror. Much blood was spilt that night and many souls were delivered back to the circle of reincarnation. The creature sulked its way out of the desolate town now a size reasonably bigger and its infant mind more evolved to the point of a state of mind, without only instinct driving it. The now 4 meter long terror now flicked out its great tongue looking for more prey. "THERE" Its mind called a slight wiff of a smell so foul that it could only be a some lesser creature of evil came from the south and toward the opening of the great valley. As the creature slithered its way toward the smell the sun slowly rose, a burning sensation soon became apperent on the creatures skin and this sensation soon became so painful that the creature wailed and screeched unholy sounds as it was being transformed by the sun and the magical air that it brought. As the changed occurred its oily black scales soon developed a slight few particles of gold and its horns and claws developed a blood red hue at the tip. As these transformations began to wane the agonizing sensation began to stop. The creature layed unconscious for another few hours until the putrid smell once again was caught by the unconscious snake startling it into a waking state. The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. Now, the creature once again starting its slow slithering pace towards the origin of the smell, only to arrive at dawn and discover a score of foul smelling goblins out for a hunt. The creature now with its more developed mind had gained a slight sense of danger, knowing that if it were to rush directly into the oncoming battle it would come out with injuries. So, the creature slowly slithered up a tree in the path the goblins would go, and as they passed the last goblin pacing 6 steps behind the group was targeted by the creature. fast as lightning the snakes body uncoiled, its muscles pushing against the tree as it lunged for the neck and the creature''s claws aiming for its eyes. "Hoof!" The goblin was shoved into the foliage at the side making a small rustling sound as the creature slowly sucked the succulent blood from the goblins neck and began chomping on its foul flesh. The other 5 goblins kept walking none the wiser and slowly each stragaler was hunted and killed until it was noticed when only three remained. The goblins stupid as they are shouted challenge out to the dead forest finding nothing but darkness returning as their awnser. Each goblin growing wearier and tireing from the constant caution began to let their guard town giving a perfect opportunity to the creature the snaked above to once again target them, but it did so in a different way from before. Bursting throught the tree it bit every goblin in less than a single breath delivering its potent paralysis to each. The goblins out of their wits tried to flee, but they were overtaken by the poisen and started to fall. As each goblin terrified of their prominent death began to shake in their state. The creature slowly uinhindged its jaw and started slowly swallowing the first goblin, the sticky insides of its mouth digesting the goblin as it was being slowly covered by the horrifying maw until finally done the creature eating everything on the goblins, weapons and all dissolving in the gooey juices of its insides. The creature soon curled up and lay there in a slow resounding sleep, looking like only a large black boulder from afar. During its sleep, it once again began to change, its two tails slowly gained a sharp hardened point made for piercing, and its horns curling backwards and towards the center of its back, where it sprouted several fin like appendages connecting to its arms and along its back seemingly made for some type of gliding. Its snout grew further and became more pronounced and snake like with a small ridge of spike snaking along its snout. Its mouth grew several small teeth behind its more prominent ones looking like a demon horror from hell. While this occurred its mind awoke from its state becoming much more devolped until it reached a point of mind that only the best tacticians have. It slept like this absorbing the ambient mana and digesting the remnents of the goblins for a long period of time until moss, wrapped along its taunt body vines grew around it, now looking like A groove of mangled vines, rocks and moss. The First Awakening "My Liege" A round and portly man with fancy silks sticking to his skin comes rushing into my office panting like the dog he is. "Who let you in! Did I not specifically order to not be disturbed." The fat man''s worm like lips mumble and stammer something incoherently. "Answer Me already! Don''t stand there like some blubbering idiot!" I Spout. The Fats man finally comes to his wits and gets on a knee, "M-My Liege Baron R-Roswell Of the blessed lands I come in with a report of a high mana signature from the Bowl of Life B-by A-Arch Ma-Magister fang. He r-reports this disturbance as something th-that can sha-sha-shake the continent itself." I stare blankly at him as the new registers and I slap him so hard he bangs into the ground, the floor creaks under the stress of his weight. He whimpers "M-M-My L-liege" and he hands me a crumpled up letter with the Arch Magister''s seal. "Guards!" I shout. Two burly bull like men squeeze through the door rushing to gain favor drag the whimpering fool out of my study, slamming the door behind them. Fools the lot of them I think, those guards are useless and stupid. As I take out a Small gold dagger ornamented with a giant ruby on the hilt and snake carving circling it, I slash open the seal to a bright light as I Cut my self along my forearm cursing my luck and that stupid magician. I open the letter and place the dagger on my desk reading what this mage has to say. Baron Roswell, As you know by now I have detected a extreme mana signature in the Bowl of life by some strange anomaly, and I am currently hoping for your assistance in finding out whatever may have been birthed from the earth or sky. This could be a great chance for our kingdom as you know, we lost our royal family and most of our power in the last war on those tree-men, so we are in dire need of power and I have suspected that this is either some divine treasure fallen from the Gods that can help our arsenal or it is a mutated divine beast that was born, and if it is the latter, then we very well might experience a powerful rise if we are to tame it. I believe it is in our best insights to send the kingdoms best tamer along with me and a battalion of touched knights to escort us. Of course you may also come and see what has happened if you wish. I will also need all of this by the morrow.Stolen novel; please report. -Fang "Curses what has Fang brought upon this time, "Ready my horse and a two battalions of touched knights with two healing mages. We will be leaving by dawn to IcePeak and then to the Bowl of Life! Make sure to Bring enough food and hunters for the way." ***** One lone adventurer wandered throughout the groove of trees stumbling drunk and every now and then lying and napping, the fool of the adventurer bore two empty wineskins, carmel skin, long ash hair, a rugged jerkin and some leather pants with only small handmade sandals for his feet. The adventurer swatted flies and branches out of his way as they scratched and cut him, his cut that he earned on his forehead from a branch bleeding into his eyes, blinding him. He stumbled over a branch cracking his head on the ground and laying there. ***** "Bloody Hell!" I awoke with a headache so bad it was like getting bashed in the back of the head constantly. I Held my hand fidgeting up to my forehead and brought it covered in blood. "Damb, not only a hangover, but a fucking wound." I tore off a part of my jerkin and tied it around my forehead cursing. As I got up a wave of dizziness hit me as I slumped back onto the tree. I tried again stumbling through the dizziness and leaning on the tree panting. I looked around seeing nothing but green and foliage, I unstrapped one of my wineskins and tried to take a swing, only to have a few drops come out. I cursed under my breath and tried to drink from the dew left on the large tree leaves, however, I noticed that the leaves near to my were larger than the ones in front of my, so I trudged back ward, only to find a Giant 10 meter tall bush of trees and leaves. I pushed through the foliage hoping to find a spring, only to see a large dark ash stone in the middle almost reaching the top of the trees and covered in moss. In a fury I banged my fist against the stone and screamed. Yet the stone felt overtly hollow and as I started to knock on it, it pulsed a red gold. I backed away afraid for my life as a mana pulse so huge it threw me back 20 meter. Luckily I landed in a bush, and as I stood upright with any little more than cuts A bright light pulsed from the remnant of whatever was inside that hollow stone, then as walked backwards I stumbled and crawled in Horror As the Light faded and a screech the cut through the sky and unknown to the world came from the beast. "SCHRAEIAAA!"
