《MMORPG: World's Glory》 Next Generation "So¡ Am I really going to be okay?" Corey Daring walks outside in the rain. "Excuse me, sir! Watch where you''re going!" A lady bumps into his jacket as the rain fights for the world''s attention. He walks up the train station and enters the turnstile. His hands are shaking nervously from drinking too much caffeine. He was playing his favorite game for over 48 hours straight. "Sir! Put the tram card into the machine, so we can get on the train!" Corey, not realizing he''s not paying attention, does this. He looks around to check if anyone is following him. ''You''re just being paranoid Corey, Sanctuary''s computers are unhackable,'' He pats his cheeks and smiles as the train arrives. He''s worried about someone finding out his identity, and trying to take his card. As he does this, he keeps thinking to himself today is going to be a good day, Corey, his name. You''re going to make it, turn in the card at the Sanctuary Companies Headquarters, and get on with your life! Quickly, the train arrives and he enters into the sliding doors as a few men in hoods enter with him. Feeling a little bit suspicious he gets off and goes to the next cart before the train doors close. "Hmmm, they shouldn''t mind that I take precautions today, right old pal?" He feels the card worth 50,000,000 RTCs that is hidden in his jacket sleeve and smiles. In his mind, he begins singing a song. It''s his favorite song by the Acrylic Ghosts, and he gets so lost in the lyrics that he doesn''t see the men staring at him cloaked in hoods. He mutters the words to the song to himself under his breathe. His hands move with a rhythmic dexterity that only an advanced gamer could have. As he goes nimbly from one cord to another on his fake air guitar, the train seems to become aware of his movements and he''s tossed onto the lady sleeping next to him. "Ding! The emergency break has been pulled. Please exit the train at the current station¡" Corey feels somewhat nervous, but is so enamored by the song in his head that he walks out the train without noticing the men behind him. "This way please!" A subway professional waves the crowd downstairs. Corey is wearing loose baggy jeans and a sweatshirt that says, ''Love it or else''. It''s his favorite quote from <> his favorite game, and the game he''s too good at according to gaming companies. "Hmm, well¡ I feel like I should run? What do you think old friend?"Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation. Corey shakes the puppet hand in front of his face and immediately jumps over the stairs. He winds up in front of a store, and somewhat nervously pushes it open. If he''s right, Sanctuary servers are uncrackable, and his account his safe, so he calms himself down. "It''s just a feeling Corey¡. You have nothing to worry abo¡ª" "Creek" The sound of a gun being loaded sounds behind him and he nervously puts up his hands. "I was just singing a song in my head¡ No need to get so upset, big guy." He really hopes his information wasn''t leaked and that his account card is safe in his sleeve pocket. "¡You know what I want, Thrasher. Give it to me or else your new avatar''s name will be NO Life.." There is not an ounce of hesitation in the man''s voice, and Corey can only sigh and take out his wallet. "Ah¡ the long awaited day someone finds out my screen name has happened. Would you like my hit CD, or my signature¡" Corey can only have a slight smile on his face before a gun hits him in the back of the head. "Boom!" His face slams into the glass and blood drips down his head like a splatter painting on fine glass. "You¡ you should''ve just given me the card crazy¡" He sighs deciding against shooting Thrasher. God forbid he gets caught, his boss wouldn''t be very happy about losing his opponent. "Well¡ hope you don''t mind, but I''ll be taking your wallet." The thug runs out the room, and smiles with a diamond incrusted velvet wallet in his hand. After flipping through a couple of pockets, he discovers a game card for <>, "Jackpot!" He walks up to his friends as the sirens begin playing along with the rain. A somewhat melancholy symphony is playing, but these crooks are extremely happy. When you get a chance to go from poor to rich, you take it even if it means shooting someone, or that was his motto. However, when they put the card into the computer, he notices a level 30 thief account loads on the last minute of the <> server. After today, they are permanently upgrading it to the Virtual Reality Extension. "NO! That little boy fooled your big papa bear! We''ve to go back¡" A second later, they look down the block and see ten cop cars in front of the store, and an ambulance. "Fuck! Fuck it! Just follow the ambulance!" The robber and his crew get in the car before his phone starts ringing. As nervous as he is, he still picks it up before a voice enters his ear. "So, did my Ass Crew get the job done," A deep monotone voice says somewhat grudgingly. "Not yet¡ However, he''s getting put in an ambulance¡ª" "What! Don''t follow that ambulance! If they catch you, I don''t want to deal with you rats busting me¡. I got a game to play, and¡ omg are you kidding me!" "I''m sorry boss¡ it''s not our fault. He didn''t have it in his wallet, nor his shoes, or his hat!" "Ugh¡. Well, I hope you forgive me for killing you," The cell phone clicks as the man hangs up and presses a button in his small hand. The thugs immediately pull out their guns trying to defend themselves before a sniper seems to pierce through the rain. "Plop!" At this time, five bodies fall down, and the man on the other line begins tearing what''s left of his bald spot off his head. "I¡. I can still win. You just watch, Thrasher¡ You will not beat me again." He''s still extremely depressed, though, and goes over and touches his new VR-MMORPG machine. "Tomorrow, you will not win Corey Daring. We''re going to have fun." In his imaginary world, he imagines beating Corey once again. Obviously, he has nothing but time keeping him from their reunion. With his role as a Beta Tester, no one will beat him and his guild this time around. Second Attempt The following morning, Corey is once again on the train heading to Sanctuary. ''I will be much more careful this time. However, who was ever in charge of players safety should pay me a reimbursement check!'' Corey is only one stop away from his location, and he''s currently wearing a town girlish outfit with glasses on his face. ''He hehehe¡ no one will see through this disguise!" He waits for the train to stop at Sanctuary Avenue, and gets off slowly looking around for any thugs lingering behind him. It takes him a moment to get down the staircase, and to cross the street to Sanctuary Studious Headquarters. "Hey¡ you! Please don''t cut in line!" The man giggles before he looks back at the weird man waiting on line. Corey can only shake his head at him. "Ugh, I''ll just weather this storm until I get my new card." He mutters joyfully under his breath causing a chilling feeling to spread off of him. The man in front of him, on the other hand, smiles thinking about his unlimited future. Corey can see the day dreams on many of the people in the line''s faces. This includes One girl in particular, and she happens to look minorly familiar to Corey. However, the chance of Dream Knight looking so much like her avatar is one in a few hundred thousand. She is a girl in his guild, but he stops thinking about that and begins humming a song in his head. An hour later, after countless people smiled with new cards in hand, it is that man that cut him in line''s turn. As he walked up to the booth, the lady at the window pops her bubble gum. "Hurry up, and give me the card¡" The man smiles and hands over his level 68 archer card, two levels away from the max level in <>. "Heh¡ thanks beautiful for doing this to me." The girl puts her head on her hand. "Yes¡ your welcome¡ Next!" She hands him the card before he curses under his breath at his unfair treatment. With his anger on his fists, he punches out at Corey who''s looking down at his cellphone. Corey seems to somehow move dodging the fist before the man falls. "Oops! You almost hit me there¡ Sorry for making you fall." Corey smiles and walks up to the register as the man gets up extremely angered. "Hmph, you little shit! I''m going to¡ª" "Boom!" A security guard with a baton hits the man in his thighs before Corey looks back and shakes his head. "Heh¡ no one''s going to get in our way today old friend. He says to his card as the lady pops her bubble once more. The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. ''Heh¡ another weird guy who spent too much time playing a game.'' She looks at the screen and drags all his items over to his new VRMMORPG account. This process was a security measure from Sanctuary studious to ensure no deception with the new accounts. This lady, however, doesn''t take a glance at the screen name and has no idea he''s actually the Thrasher! "Here, please enjoy the new expansion. May a new World Rise from within you!" She puts a stamp on the card and gives it to Corey. A second later, though, a light glows on the screen telling her to stop Corey form moving. When she sees this light flashing, she angrily gets up from her chair and gives the card to Corey. "Ugh, they found a problem with your account. You''re going to have to go up to the second floor to talk to a GM¡" Corey takes the card and sighs. "Are you serious? What''s wrong with the account?" "Listen lady¡ don''t cause me any problems or I''m going to have to call security¡ Next!" With a sigh, Corey walks off the line and goes over towards the elevator. After making it to the second floor, he expects to find a chair to sit on. Instead, though, he sees a few men, much larger than him, smiling at him. "Thrasher! My man! Where have you been all my life?" Corey has never been called his screen name, Thrasher, in public before and immediately puts up his hands up in defense. "What do you two want?" The men in front of him smile and wave at him. "We''re just sent you here to escort you to the boss. He''s waiting for you in the back room." At this time, Corey hears the sound of stilettoes and his favorite song is playing in the background. This is the song by the Acrylic Ghosts, Spooky Holiday. ''Has someone decided to throw me a birthday party? My life long wish of getting a surprise party is being fulfilled!'' A second later, Corey feels a pat on the back and turns around seeing a lady in business attire smiling at him. "It''s him! The God of our game is here, Thrasher! We''ve finally found him!" "Yes¡ it took us long enough! Michigan¡ please take him to the back and give him the machine for our mistake¡" "Machine," Corey replies and looks at the two CEO''s of the company. He recognizes them from their Game Master characters and gulps in excitement before he says. "You two¡ you''re not going to throw me a party?" He shows some hesitation in his voice before he begins laughing. "Heh! I''m just kidding! However, what machine are you giving me¡ I already preordered the X1 unit 10 weeks ago¡" "Heh¡ that old piece of junk! You don''t need that¡ we''re giving you the Full immersion X7. With this new version, you''ll be able to better experience the taste of the food, and battle." Michigan nods her head before they arrive by the machine. It''s actually packed into a really small bag, and Corey takes the bag for the new machine labeled X1. "What size is it," he asks about the suit that comes with it. "Medium¡" "Does it have the complete VR skin apparatus inside?" Corey imagines it be hard to fit the entire kit in such a small box. "Yes¡ it''s the least we can do for almost getting you killed. Those Thug sure hit you hard yesterday¡ If you weren''t so lucky, your card would''ve gotten stolen, and we would''ve had to delete your old account." Corey nods his head. "Luckily, I kept it safe in a special place¡ I realized they might want it, so I hid it well¡" Michigan smiles at him and gives him the bag. "Well¡ please inform us of any problems! If you wish to talk to us GM''s while you''re in the game, just add GM Albatross and GM Michigan to your list of friends¡" Corey accepts this offer and makes sure to remember their names. "Well, thank you I suppose! Thank you for making the game by the way¡ You two made my child hood a better place¡" "Thrasher¡ your welcome¡ Now, get out of here before our staff maul you¡" Michigan smiles before she lets go off his hand. "¡ Well, good luck in the servers¡ and¡ your disguise is perfect. I almost thought you were a girl!" Corey giggles before he looks down realizing he hasn''t changed yet. "Ah! Didn''t want to get robbed. Please excuse me!" The two security guards walk up to Thrasher with dejected expressions. "Ah¡ we thought the legendary Thrasher was a girl¡ how disappointing." "Yes¡ it would''ve been better if I could''ve dated Thrasher¡" They walk him over towards the elevator before he goes downstairs. Michigan and the Ceo look out the window watching him walk towards the subway. "You know¡ considering how rich he could be why do you think he never sold his legendary Magma equipment?" Worlds Glory Expansion Corey makes it back to his house with a smile on his face. ''Heh¡ mom and dad wouldn''t be too happy if they knew I was going to be staying here¡'' In front of him is one of his father''s buildings that he was never able to sell. ''However, if I wish to make a game studio¡ I''m going to need a space.'' He goes inside and turns on the lights. The lights turn on fairly quickly, and he takes out the Virtual reality suit. With the suit on, he looks somewhat different. It''s almost as if he''s donned his character, Thrasher''s identity. The suit has sensors all over it and has a small port in its sneakers for where he can connect to the game. In a few minutes, the game will start and quite nervously he looks around. A few minutes ago, he ordered food, and was expecting it to be here on time. Luckily, he hears a knock on the door soon, and a man comes in with his food. "Your food is here, sir! Please pay now before it gets cold!" With little time to delay, Corey runs over with his suit still attached. "Yes¡ coming! Please tell me you got the right order!" "Of course, we wouldn''t give you the wrong order on opening day! I can tell by your suit that you''re going to be a part of <> is that right. Corey takes the food and nods his head. "Yes, this suit feels really comfortable, and the equipment connects right into my old computer! I''m really excited about trying it out." The man smiles at him and accepts the money from Corey. "Well, if you ever need someone for your studio here is my card¡ Just ask for me at Beacon''s Restaurant, and I''ll be over here¡" Corey takes this to heart and nods his head. "Yes, I will keep you in mind! Now get out of here and go play the game!" The man smiles and looks down noticing that Corey gave him a huge tip. "Ah, I wish I could be starting in the game today like him." He dejectedly goes back on his delivery bike before he hesitates. "Wait¡ how come I haven''t seen that model suit he was wearing before?" He sighs wondering what it would be like if he was rich. Corey, who is still standing by the door, jumps onto the docking station before the lights turn on in his goggles sucking him in. Immediately, at 9 am, the entire world is ready to play <>. "Ding! Welcome to World''s Glory¡ Would you like to keep the same profession." Corey is soon presented with the new User Interface. He finds himself in a white room that reminds him of a box.The author''s narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. "Please just click on the button you so desire¡" Corey clicks on yes, and an image of himself appears on the screen. "Selecting Dual Swordsman¡ Past account was named Thrasher. Keep same name?" "Yes¡" "Would you like to add your old friends," The fairy like voice asks. "No," Corey dejectedly replies thinking about his old friends. Many of them decided to not play the expansion. "However, please add Dream Knight, and Purple Monarch to the list¡ They will be the only two friends joining us buddy¡" The voice laughs and adds those two characters. "Well, they have been added. Now, though, you must select the town you will be staying at. Which town would you like to join." The map appears in front of him showing 25 different areas for him to play in. "Hmmm, I''ll select my old territory¡ Blue Bay City¡" "Confirmed¡ Old items are being attached to account. Welcome Thrasher to the new <>. Thrasher finds a smile on his face as he enters into the game. He appears in the middle of a filling up street. He figured all the pros would enter this location and he is indeed correct. In the old version of <>, this town Blue City Bay was one of the five hardest starting towns. There was normally level 20 Arachnid Warriors waiting for players when they entered. A voice he recognizes soon greets him. "Welcome to the starting edition of the VRMMORPG World''s Glory! I will be your host, GM Albatross! Please enjoy the game, and don''t forget to level up!" Corey smiles hearing their familiar voices. A second later though, a female voice enters his ears. "Thrasher¡ is that you?" "Dream Knight?" He turns around looking at the girl behind him. He can''t believe it''s her. "Dream Knight¡. So you really look like your avatar¡" Corey replies to her and she smiles at him. "Yes¡ well, isn''t that what you did too?" Thrasher looks down realizing he forgot to adjust his appearance. In World''s Glory, you could customize your original appearance up to 10%. However, he was in such a rush to start the game that this was fine. "Heh¡ I guess, but would you want to party?" Dream Knight smiles at him as her hair falls down her life like body. She looks pretty enough to be working as a model for a modeling agency. However, she is very addicted to games like Thrasher. "Yes¡ I''m still going to be the best Battle Cleric in the game, and I''m still joining your horrible guild¡" Corey rolls his eyes before he accepts her request. A moment later, he notices a bunch of men are surrounding him with familiar names. However, many of them are much uglier in this version. "Heh¡ So, the Mighty Thrasher dared to enter my territory?" A man named Steel Lion looks at him angrily. He''s been waiting for Thrasher to show up with his guild members. "Ah¡ yes, if it isn''t my favorite road kill¡ You still wish to get fried Lion," Thrasher says as he pulls out his level one epic blades. In the last game, he found some rare level one equipment of the epic tear. With the new game allowing user to keep their old equipment, he felt safe even under the scope of nearly 20 players. "Ah¡ is that the epic Winter Dual Sword Set? If we kill you, we''ll get them, right?" Corey, not one for mincing words, immediately dashes forward towards the group of 20 men. Behind him, Dream Knight follows and immediately takes out a mace. They begin fighting the twenty men quickly, and soon Corey''s blade work is shown. He had been trained by his father for a few years in combat. If he were to ever inherit his fathers company, he would need to be able to defend himself. Steel Lion, who only knows that his weapon is of the epic tier, and not how to use it, find a sword in his gut. -50 Hp - 20 Hp -30 HP "Steel Lion has been KO''d by Thrasher¡" A siren soon sounds in Blue Bay City, and all the men surrounding Thrasher gulp. "They kept the Arachnids! Everybody run!" Corey turns around noticing the level 20 Arachnid Supremes that are hopping towards him. The raid "So¡ do you think they''ll be able to survive," GM Albatross asks GM Michigan. "Uhm, well¡ if he is able to kill them with his old equipment, won''t he level up really fast?" At first, they weren''t going to let the players keep their old equipment. However, GM Albatross looked at his own account he uses in the game, Pixie Lord, so he decided to keep the items in this round of game. "Hmmm, well, we did up the level cap to level 200¡ For most people, they won''t have equipment like the legendary Thrasher." Michigan nodded her head. "Yes¡ wasn''t it really cool that we got to meet him?" Albatross smiles and pulls out a picture they took from the security camera. "Yes, I even have the two of us with him. Look you''re holding his hand¡ However, it was unfortunate that he had to wear that town boyish outfit¡" Michigan seems to have empathy in her eyes as she looks at the photo. "Yes¡ Now, how about we stop being GM''s and go play the game?" Albatross smiles and they both sneakily exit their desks leaving the other GM''s to watch the game. "Well¡ we are the Ceos¡ shall we start this thing Laser Bell?" "Yes, boss!" ¡. Corey looks at the gigantic arachnid ninja in front of him. He immediately moves to the side before he activates one of his hidden items. He has level one hidden items from completing various quests, and they allow his stats to reach that of a level 12 player. He activates one of the skills on the epic leaf pendant known as god''s whisper. With it his evasion is increased by 20% The arachnid ninja has eight swords and slices towards Corey''s shadow. Using some of the moves he learned during his martial artist training as a kid he is able to dodge the attacks. Dream Knight looks on with reverence in her eyes, and immediately activates the angel''s blessing on their party increasing his defense by + 10 points. Corey can now just barely make out the eight arms that are coming towards him. He spins, and slashes down before he analyzes his opponent. Arachnid Ninja Level 20 HP 800 / 800 MP 50 / 50 He then bursts downward with his sword and cuts into the Arachnid Ninja. If he can kill this Ninja, he will get a leveling boost.Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. Since the Arachnid is more than 10 levels higher than him, he will receive 5x more experience than he normally would. -50 Hp -50 Hp ''Yes¡ just let your father beat you, You are going to die, silly creature." Corey spins quickly in the air again before seven swords barrel towards his face. Dream Knight wants to cover her eyes and not watch. At this time, though, Thrasher once again narrowly escapes that slash and jumps back before he pulls out a little disk. "Hey, Dream Knight! They let me keep an ice bomb! Going to use it once we can amass a crowd!" Dream Knight rolls her eyes as men cry to her left and right as the Arachnid Ninja''s slaughter all the noobs around them. "Hmph, you''re too lucky with your drops Thrasher! Just use it on a good crowd¡" Thrasher smiles as he looks at the turning red Ninja. He immediately starts a rather long battle with his solo opponent. They trade blows out in the middle of the town, occasionally toppling over bodies on the floor, and sometimes even causing the NPC''s to scream in fright. "It''s so unfortunate we''re going to lose such a low level player," One female NPC covers her eyes at the auction house. "Heh¡ just watch him survive. I recognize that name from the History books from our gods." Her father replies biting a mango like fruit. "You mean¡. Is that Thrasher¡ The legendary soloist!" Her father smiles before he picks up a watermelon and shoves it in his large mouth. "Yup, Lord Albatross wouldn''t lie to us¡ He made us after all dear." His daughter smiles before the battle continues. -300 HP -500 Hp Corey begins to see patterns as he spins away from another sword move. "He''s too good at this," Steel Lion comments as he walks out of the grave yard, "However, did he have to take my cutlass¡ I got that from the level 68 boss, the Martian Empress¡" "It''s surprising he''s still alive¡ This is no longer the same game Steel Lion¡ His compatriot looks dejected as he walks towards the safe part of the town. "Yes, we should start with the boars and level 1 wolves¡ let''s go." The arachnid, at this time, gets one more attack for ¨C 50 HP. This attack is not a critical hit, but most of his sword moves were critical hits. "Boom!" The arachnid burst open before a golden light appears on the street. A second later, he noticed his reputation stat went up by 3 points in Blue Bay City. "Heh! You did it!" Dream Knight yells happily. "We''re also¡ not getting any experience¡" Thrasher looks down looking at his experience bar. ''Wait, did the GM''s not give me their accounts¡ should I send them a message.'' He sighs as his experience still says zero for one minute longer before he gets the notification. "Hehe... took a second for the AI to calculate... sorry for the delay" + 15,000 experience. - Player Thrasher has reached level 10 -Player has gained 20 SP points. Will show stats after battle. Thrasher smiles and then runs over to Dream Knight who is fighting another Arachnid. The golden item that dropped immediately flies over to him. At this time, he hops up and ends up slashing his level 1 epic blade into the back of the Ninja "MOO HAAA!" The creature screams. It has just called for help as its HP reaches 30. Dream Knight, who is also level 10 now casts the scarlet blessing of attack on both of them before she rises up and slams her cudgel into its head. Boom! The golden coins from the creature fall to the floor as Thrasher watches his level rise to level 12. "Heh¡ I think we should get out of here Dream Knight¡" "Yes, let''s go before their Mother comes." With roughly 2000 arachnids running towards them they sprint past Steel Lion who is currently slowly limping along. "The wolves are even too tough for me¡ How ridiculous is this," He bemoans his fate to his fellow compatriot who is now without his epic tunic. "Yes¡ we should really join one of the beginner''s martial studios in another town¡ It was in the guide book" As he is mopping, a second later, Thrasher runs by with a cutlass in his hand. Thrasher, basically, having grown accustomed to his frenemy, throws his cutlass down on the floor. "You''re going to need this!" He screams as he runs off. Steel Lion, with a tear in his eye, reaches down to pick up the cutlass. Hidden Profession Thrasher and Dream Knight head away from the center of town. They decided to no longer deal with the Arachnids and instead went to go accept their first quests. "Well¡ your class is better suited for the quest in the church," Thrasher says pointing to the building in the distance. Dream Knight can only roll her eyes before she smiles at him. "I''m disbanding this party then, Thrasher¡ Hope things go well at the auction house." She walks away turning back every few seconds to make sure Thrasher isn''t staring. "It''s nice to see what you really look like," She says with a smile as she walks off into the distance. Thrasher sighs before he looks at the auction house in front of him. In a few days, this place would be buzzing with activity, with players selling goods, but right now it was quiet as the town. ''Ugh, well, I hope that NPC is still here¡'' He walks inside the room and looks at up at the regal trimmings decorating the once shoddy auction house. "Ugh, guess somethings aren''t going to stay the same¡" When he enters into the space, he hears the mutterings of a few NPCs around him. However, he pays this no mind as he walks up to the receptionist sitting at the counter. "Ah, hold on¡" she says waving off a few NPC warriors, "One of the players are here¡ that''s why." Those NPC''s turn towards Thrasher and roll their eyes at him. These NPC''s all have distinct personalities to them as opposed to in other games. Since this was the alpha release by Salvation Studious, they put a lot of effort into the programming for the NPCs. They had their own jobs and stuff like that, but Thrasher wasn''t here for them. He just wanted to get his first quest, so he could make it to the Castle Emperors Port before any of the other players¡ Regardless, a second later, something small and soft bumps into his leg.Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on the original website. "Oh, sorry dear adventurer didn''t see you there!" A little Lolli says as she marches along with her eyes closed. Corey bends down and rubs her on the head. "It''s no problem little duck¡ However, why are you wondering around with your eyes closed." She looks rather flustered almost as if she is holding her breath. "Heh¡ it''s because my nose gets better when I''m really focused, and I smell best when I don''t see." She is really cute for her size and Corey can''t help but laugh as she spins around. "Ah, I see¡ Well what does this item look like?" He bends down and the girl opens her eyes revealing two blue moonlike orbs. "Its golden, and you have it on you mister! You''re going to have to come with me!" She looks somewhat serious and Corey can''t help but back up in wonder. "I''ve only just come here¡ Don''t be like my father and blame me for everything!" Corey responds taken aback by her pointing fingers. "No! You don''t understand! You have¡ the eight armed core! Silly, come with me little man!" "But¡ the quest¡" Corey points to the empty line and remembers the days of waiting for hours for a quest. However, the little Lolli, who is actually level 20, pulls him over to a painting on the wall. "Silly man, this is your chance to accept the hidden quest for the hidden profession, Eight armed Swordsman, I wouldn''t turn me down if I were you, or your little sword is going to get it!" The Lolli humphs before Corey looks down at her. "Ah, a hidden quest! You should''ve told me little girl! Yes! Eight arms sounds awesome!" The little girl seems happy with his response and points at the painting. "Yes¡ however, I''m going to need to keep your sword as payment for it if you lose the challenge. Still, if you win, you''ll be able to unlock the spider warrior profession, the eight-armed swordsmen!" Suddenly, Corey imagines himself with eight arms and gulps thinking about how cool that would be. "Deal¡ I have a few more of these swords anyway," he answers as the little Lolli laughs. "Hehehehe¡ good, well now that the payment is done¡ please enter the painting to begin your challenge for the hidden quest¡ If you can survive, I''ll give you your new profession." She taps on the floor a few times before Corey sighs looking at his blade. ''You were so good to me buddy, please stay safe." He hands the blade over to the little girly woman who smiles with the blade in her hand. "Good luck in there, and don''t forget your bamboo stick!" Corey nods his head before he walks up to the painting. Hidden quests such as this are exceptionally rare and were hardly ever featured in <>. However, it seems this time around, not only is it featured, but he found one in a beginner town. He can only wonder what else they changed since he entered the game. Regardless, with little holding him back, besides the stare of the little Lolli weirdly petting his sword, he walks into the painting. "Ding! You''ve accepted the Quest [Reclaim the Throne of Malacca English]" "Quest Difficulty E" With little to no choice he ends up in a room with eight, seven armed swordsman. They immediately rush towards him as Thrasher looks down at his bamboo stick. "Oh god¡ this is going to be bad¡"
