《Playtime》 prologue Her eyes. They stared deeply into his, seeming to see into the darkest corners of his soul. He couldn''t contain the anger, the hunger that raged inside of him. But he had to... he had to think about the job, nothing else. A job that would require him to put his personal desires aside. He ran his fingers through his white hair, and soaked in the fear he could feel radiating off of her. Her blond hair, her hazel eyes, marked her as the one he was searching for. He spread his black feathered wings, reveling in the feel of his powers escalating. She turned to look at him, and his fragile hold on his raging emotions snapped. The cold, crisp air swung past him as he cornered the victim. The fear in her eyes gave him the power he wanted... craved even.Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon. "Why are you running?" he asked. "Haven''t you heard?" He grabbed her arm. "It''splaytime." Chapter One I ran. My thighs were screaming at me as I pushed myself further into the forest. I couldn''t stop running. The horrid feeling of being followed was increasing, and as much as I wanted to stop and just end this nightmare, I couldn''t. I screamed as a figure appeared in front of me. His white hair hung in his face, and his bright red eyes stared deep into my soul. I tried to pry myself away from his intense gaze, but all I could do was keep staring. I collapsed to the cold ground, reveling in the feeling of rest. "Savanna," his voice whispered. It was deep, and yet angelic at the same time. I looked up to see him smirk. He licked his lips as he pulled me to my feet. That''s when I noticed the mark. The two horns on his neck. I forced myself backwards, only to bump into six more guys. They all stared at me as if it was dinner time, and I was the main course. I backed up and began to panic. "Don''t run, child." I shook my head frantically as voices began to clash together. "You belong to me!" I jolted up, panting heavily. Sweat joined my shirt to my skin as I looked around my darkened room. I couldn''t think straight. The feeling of those red eyes boring into mine still lingered in my mind. His voice, his expression... both belonged to a demon. A really attractive demon, but a demon nonetheless. I stood up and recoiled as I felt the cold wooden floor beneath my feet. Goosebumps raced up my body as I shivered in the embrace of a cold fall wind. I pulled my blanket tighter around my shoulders, and headed for the balcony. The voices were still ringing in my ears. I couldn''t decide whether I should be concerned about the dream, and yet I knew the answer. I, being a fallen angel myself, had dreams like this often and thought nothing of it. I figured it was normal for fallen angels to have dreams like this. I opened the door wider and stepped out. It was a few weeks before Halloween, and I still didn''t know what I was going to do. I hated social activities that didn''t allow me to be the center of attention. "You belong to me!" The chilling phrase still resonated in my ears. I tried to calm my racing heart down while I looked out over the neighborhood. The street looked empty, and yet I still had the feeling that someone was watching.A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. "You''re being silly, Savanna," I told myself. "Just go back to bed and get rest." I nodded my head at the advice and headed back to my room. I stopped, frozen in place as my gaze landed on something that didn''t belong. A guy. In my room. He smirked as he proceeded to step closer to me. "Hello, princess." he said, a cold glint gleaming in his eyes. I shook my head and began to back slowly away. "How did you get in?" I asked, scared to guess the identity of the stranger. He chuckled before grabbing my arm and pulling me close. I coughed as the burnt smell from his clothes reached my nose. His red eyes seemed to reach into my soul, sucking out every ounce of strength and agency I possessed. "Don''t be afraid," he cooed. "I won''t hurt you, yet." Strangely, the last word didn''t reassure me. I pushed myself away, feeling a slight power surge flow through my body. "Get out." I ordered. He chuckled again before pulling away and heading to the window. "You''ll thank me later," he said simply. Without another word, he turned and jumped. I blinked and shook my head. How did his voice get stuck in my head so easily? I pulled the blanket tighter around me as I curled up in bed. I wanted to forget that anything had happened. --------- I raced into my classroom right as the bell rung, and silently groaned as the teacher gave me a death glare. Her glasses sat on the end of her nose, reminding me of a grumpy librarian. Her annoying high pitched voice grated on my ears. "You''re late." she said, as if I wasn''t already aware of the fact. "I think I''m aware of that," I sassed back, not in the mood for her lectures. "I had something more important to do." I heard the class go silent as I returned the authority''s death glare with my own. She clenched the marker as I took my sweet time getting to my seat. I sat and smirked, crossing my arms defiantly. That''s right old lady, try and send me to detention. "Detention!" she screamed. I laughed and nodded. "It would be my pleasure." I grabbed my bag and headed out into the hall. I couldn''t help but feel a swell of pride rising in my chest. I had all of eternity to do this. If Heaven didn''t want me, and the Devil didn''t want me, I''d be happy to roam around here... forever. I turn the corner and immediately bumped into a hard object. I looked up from the ground to see a guy with white hair looking down at me. His scarlet gaze was cold as stone, and yet I could catch a glimpse of something more. I gasped as black-feathered wings began to unfurl behind him. They folded slightly before spreading out fully, casting a monstrous shadow on me. I couldn''t speak, or think. I was dumbstruck. A demon was in my school. chapter two Demons. As attractive as they are, they aren''t good news. They will tear up your life faster than you can tell them no. That''s why when I became a fallen angel, I was careful of who I spent my time with. I can see a demon''s true form, which made choosing who I associated with a lot easier. However, in some ways it didn''t. I may be a fallen angel, but I have the curiosity of a mortal. I get intrigued by a creature and then, just like that, it ruins my existence. It''s the curse of a fallen angel. Once you rebel, you''re on your own. I don''t really mind, although it would help if the counsel cared. I sat in detention, fidgeting with my pencil. Boredom is still a thing for us fallen creatures, and right now I was tempted to do something really awful just to entertain myself. I had just decided to doze off when a new guy walked in. I gasped as his menacing presence filled the room, crashing into my senses. I shook my head as the guy looked at me. His bright red eyes sent chills down my spine. I didn''t want to be caught staring, but I couldn''t tear my eyes away. His smile radiated light, and yet his intentions were anything but good. He was a demon. I turned away, pretending not to care. A cold breeze caressed my face as the new guy walked by. He walked to the teacher before sending me a smirk. A smirk that spelled one message... Trouble. I looked down as a blush crept across my cheeks. I would have to be careful with this one. -------- I walked into my house, fully exhausted. School had been a complete disaster. I dropped my stuff on the bed before moving to open the shutters. I noticed a slip of paper caught in my window. Curiosity gripped me, causing me to open the glass and remove the paper. Opening it, I saw cursive handwriting covering the paper. If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation. Desire. Love. I don''t know what to call it. All I know is that you will be mine, So I suggest you leave the window unlocked tonight. You can hide from me, but you will be mine. Whether you like it or not. -MY I stared at the note. Fear mixed with curiosity hit me. "I could leave the window open and see who sent the note or I could be a rational human being and lock it." I said to myself. "Screw it." I threw the note on the ground and locked the window. Even if my curiosity was begging me to leave it unlocked, I was going to be smart and not let whoever sent it in. Picking up my belongings, I started for the door. I didn''t even make it halfway when a voice spoke inside my head. "Did you like my note princess?" I shook my head, staggering back slightly. Rubbing at my forehead, I waited for a few seconds before brushing it off. "Don''t ignore me!" the voice urged louder. I yelped and fell into the hallway wall. I felt stiff, and unmoveable. It was like something was holding me down. "Unlock the window." the voice ordered. I fought the urge to obey. I shook my head. "No!" I screamed. "I won''t listen." I dragged my unresponsive body to the kitchen, and held onto the table as control returned to me Panic began to trickle in as I realized the gravity of the situation. There was a demon here that wanted me. I couldn''t let him have me; I had to keep fighting, starting with disobeying what it had told me to do. I grabbed the remaining chain from the basement and walked to my window. I peered out. That''s when I saw the seven boys standing outside my house, staring directly at my window. I hurried to shut the curtains and released a shaky breath. I did not just see seven demon creature things outside my house. I rushed to put the chain on the window while somewhat succeeding in staying hidden. With a sigh, I hurried to my bed. "Tonight," I whispered,"No demon is going to get me." chapter three It started out as a peaceful night. I was curled up in my blankets, enjoying the heat that they brought. I opened my eyes slightly to change positions, and caught a glimpse of something at my window. Fear shot through me, and I hurried to sit up. The curtains fluttered in the wind, making me even more anxious. I had locked the window, and chained it as well to keep anything unwanted out. I slowly made my way toward the window. My trembling hand pushed my blonde hair out of my face as I peered out into the yard. The moon was casting it''s bright rays on my house, illuminating the yard and making it impossible to hide. When I finally reassured myself that no one was out there, I shut the window and turned to go back to bed. A slight movement caught my eye, and I saw a dark figure standing in the corner. I screamed, startled, before bumping into my mirror. It fell to the floor, shattering into millions of pieces. My breaths came heavily as I turned on the light, and searched the room. There was no one. "You are hallucinating." I told myself. "You''re safe." I released a nervous breath before turning the light off and crawling back into the warmth of my covers. I wrapped myself up and start dozing off when I got the strong feeling of being watched. Opening my eyes slightly, I saw the guy from my dreams sitting on my desk. His red eyes stared at me with interest and desire. I sat up and pulled the covers closer as he smirked. I looked at him. Intricate tattoos covered his hands, and gold chains glinted from around his neck. His black leather jacket made him look like a biker, and his pure white hair clashed beautifully with the crimson color of his eyes. "Hello, Savanna." he said. I jumped up and grabbed by baseball bat leaning against my bed before looking at him with suspicion. He shook his head before waving his hand towards the window. My baseball bat slipped through my fingers and went flying through it. "You didn''t listen to me." he whispered, coming closer with ever word. I looked at him while backing up as much as I could without hitting the wall. The burning sensation was strong as he came within inches of me. I coughed and shook my head. This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report. "How did you get in?" I asked, trying to push him back. He captured my hands in his, and pulled me close enough that our foreheads almost touched. "Didn''t you get my note?" he cooed. I glared, sick of this game. I wasn''t going to let him off so easy. "Get out!" I screamed, yanking my hands away. "I''ll call the police!" I was almost to the phone when he appeared right in front of me. I ran into him, and fell to the floor. He laughed and grabbed my arm before pulling me up. "Let go of me!" I looked at him for a moment, then finally sighed and sat on my bed. "Good choice," he said sitting next to me. I ran my fingers through my hair as I look at him from the corner of my eye. I could sense that he was a demon, but for some reason he didn''t look like one. He had normal hair, eyes that could capture any girl, and a smile that seemed to charm me. "So, what do you want?" I asked. "Who are you?" The stranger chuckled before meeting my angry gaze. All the fight went out of me, and time froze. "Name''s Min Yoongi." he says smirking. I couldn''t find the words to keep the conversation going. He glanced around before returning his gaze to mine. I could feel the intensity of his emotions swamping me, overwhelming any other rational thought. "You''re a fallen angel, right?" he asked. I just nodded. It was like I had been programmed to answer him. He chuckled before leaning closer whispering in my ear, "You belong to me." I finally snapped back to my senses enough to see him leaning in. Without having time to react, he kissed me. I sat there, frozen like a complete idiot trying to process what was happening. But within seconds, I started to kiss him back. He pulled me even closer, seeming to crave my nearness. A burning sensation began on the side of my neck, and everything began to spin. I pulled back once the spinning got to the point where I couldn''t stand it. He leaned his forehead on mine as the spinning sensation continued to increase and nausea began to set in. I opened my eyes in time to see a flash of white attack Yoongi. I collapsed to the ground and curled into a ball as the pain became unbearable. "Hello? Are you alright?" a voice asked. To my disoriented brain, the voice sounded echoey and distorted. I groaned in a response. "This isn''t good." the voice said. What couldn''t be good? I tried to move, but found that I didn''t have the strength. "He marked her. She belongs to him now." chapter four Light filtered in through my bedroom window, and my eyes slowly drifted open. A staccato drumbeat pounded in my temples, and fragments of nightmarish memories swirled in my head. I couldn''t comprehend what had happened the previous night, but I did know that whatever had happened wasn''t real. I wasn''t going to believe that had I let a complete stranger come into my room and kiss me. I pushed my hair out of my face and yawned as I looked around my light filled room. My balcony window was open slightly, and a cool morning breeze slipped through the crack to caress my face. A glance at my alarm clock told me it was 9:00 am. Wait, 9:00?! "Way to go," I lectured myself. "Overslept." I stood up, but regretted the decision immediately. My legs caved in underneath me, sending me tumbling to the unforgiving wooden floor beneath my feet. I groaned in pain as I peeled myself off the floor, and moved to rub my stiff neck. I touched it, then pulled away as a harsh stinging sensation radiated outward. "If only I could fake being sick," I said to myself as I dragged my weary body in the direction of the bathroom. While attempting to freshen up, I pondered the events of the night before; more importantly the guy who had kissed me. I could still hear his name clearly ringing in my ears. Min Yoongi. I froze as I heard a yelp, then an ear-splitting crash outside my door. Really, I should have been more worried, but strangely I wasn''t; after all, it couldn''t get any stranger that being kissed by a demon. I took my chances and slowly opened the door a crack. I gasped as I saw a girl laying in the middle of my bedroom, covered in the curtains. She had dirty blond hair that was pulled back into a french braid, and wore light blue skinny jeans. Her lace shirt seemed to reflect the sunlight streaming in through the now broken window. She gave an embarrassed smile while trying to get untangled from the curtains. "Sorry," she said, giving up and just sitting there. "Didn''t mean to startle you." I forced a nervous smile before helping her get untangled. I gasped as I saw the gorgeous pearl white wings spread out behind her. They had a mix of golden embroidery on them, making them even more beautiful. She was an angel! Once I got her untangled, she sighed and pushed herself off the ground. "Thank you." she said, smiling. "I''m Angelia Hope." I shook her hand and continued to stare, dumbfounded. She chuckled before walking over to my bed and making herself comfortable. I looked down at myself, and realized that I wasn''t exactly presentable for company.Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation. "Nice to meet you," I replied. "But...how did you get inside?" She rolled her luminescent eyes before folding her arms. Her blue eyes, flecked with bright gold, seemed to shimmer in the sunlight and her clear skin didn''t even look human. "The window, how else?" she said, laughing. "Might I suggest shorter curtains? Getting stuck in curtains isn''t a very enjoyable experience." I nodded slowly. "Noted." I opened my closet and scanned the contents of my wardrobe, looking for something cute to wear. After standing there for a few seconds, seconds that seemed like an eternity, I shut the doors with a sigh and turn to Angelia. "I wish I could just skip school today. My neck is killing me and my head is pounding." I rubbed my forehead, trying to soothe the aching pain. She stood up and walked over, examining my neck closely when she reached me, making me feel even more uncomfortable. Seriously? I thought, covering my neck with my hands. What is with creatures and staring at a person''s neck? I turned to look at her when she didn''t reply to my comment. "Did..." she hesitated, not finishing the sentence. "Did I what?" I asked rummaging through my belongings. She sighed and took a seat on my desk. "Did you get a visitor last night?" she finally asked, making me stop midway in what I was doing. I slowly turn my unfocused attention to her as she fiddles with her shirt. Her wings fluttered, knocking over my makeup. "Uh..." I say not exactly sure if it was a good idea I told her. I knew what the counsel would say. They say how disappointed they are that I let a demon kiss me and then go on how I shouldn''t have rebelled so they could watch over me. I found it hypocritical. Besides, I could take care of myself...most of the time. I knew being a fallen angel, it was hard to take care of myself seeing how I couldn''t do what demons did or what angel were capable of. I was in between. "Because you have the mark of property." she says. I spin around, making my neck burn with pain. "On your neck. That''s the pain you''re feeling." I touch my neck and hurry to the mirror. And right there, in the center of the side of my neck was a heart shaped rose. It hurt to touch and made my neck tense. "What does it mean?" I ask. Angelia hesitated. "I''ll tell you while you get ready." she says sitting on the bed. I shrug and began to rummage through my clothes once more. "So, tell me." I say picking out a pink floral shoulder shirt with torn jeans. I pair it with my red ruby necklace and gold earrings. Angelia hadn''t replied for a while, worrying me. "Well," she says. "What do you want to know? I have a lot of information I need to share." I turned to her once I had gotten myself together. "Well..." I began. "Start from the beginning." She nods and begins to explain the whole story, while I was standing listening intently. chapter five I didn''t rebel on purpose. That would be stupid to rebel on purpose. Heaven was the only home I had when I died. No, I didn''t rebel for dumb reasons. I was saving someone''s life. One thing you have to understand about angels and their duties; they can only show themselves once in a person''s life. I showed myself when someone was trying to commit suicide. I had flown down and caught them right as they were about to hit the ground. Once I had saved them, the counsel had lectured me about being careful about showing myself onto mortals. That''s when I gave up my spot and became a fallen angel. I thought I was better off without them. I was wrong. Angelia walked with me down the street as we walk to school. I had figured it didn''t matter how late I was. I''d get detention anyway. It was how my teachers treated me and my rebellious spirit. "Alright," Angelia says catching my attention. "There are seven." Seven? I had lost my thoughts halfway through the conversation so I didn''t know what she was talking about. "Seven?" I repeat giving her a blank expression. She gives me a sympathetic expression. "Yes. Seven servants to the Devil." she answers. "There are three Demons, two fallen angels and two vampires. They want you." I look ahead, feeling suddenly overwhelmed by the information. I stop walking, allowing the information to sink in. I was about to continue walking when a voice stops me. His voice. "Princess," it taunts. "Wait for me." I stare at Angelia, feeling my words at loss and my body unresponsive to what I wanted to do. Angelia rushes to me trying to snap me back to reality. "Savanna!!" she screams shaking me. "Wake up!" I shake my head and look at her with a dazed look. I give her a reassuring smile as we continue to walk, but we didn''t make it very far when a stranger jumps in front of us. He licks his lips and chuckles.Love this novel? Read it on Royal Road to ensure the author gets credit. "Look what we found," he says creeping closer. Angelia stands her ground, but gets frightened by the stranger''s carmine eyes. "Dinner." I gasp as hands grab me from behind. I glance around and see that we''re surrounded. Angelia glares as she gets grabbed, and immediately sinks to the ground. "Angelia!" I scream trying to pry myself away from the stranger. And that''s when I saw him. Min Yoongi walk up to me, his gaze cold and hard. "You." I mumble. He smirks and then glares at the person behind me. "Take your hands off of her, Seok-Jin." he orders. The grip loosens yet, I still feel like I was still captured. I kneel beside my friend as she gives me a weak smile. "What did you do to her?" I demand. Min Yoongi shakes his head and touches my face. I grimace and pull away. "Didn''t you know this about angels?" he quizzed. "They can''t be touched by unclean things such as us." I look at him shocked and then touch my friend. "It weakens them, eventually killing them." I struggle as Min Yoongi pulls me up and away from Angelia who was on the ground curled up in a ball. "Let go of me!" I scream yanking myself away from his grip. That really pissed him off. He glared at me before backing me up into a brick wall. "Don''t test me." he orders. "You belong to me and only me!" he turns and signals his group to follow. Thinking they were going to leave us, I sink to the ground. Boy was I wrong. I get grabbed by a pale stranger. His hair was dark, almost black and his eyes was a mix of red and brown. He smirked as he dragged me along with the group. I glance back and see Angelia starting to recover, yet still not strong enough to chase after us. I felt in danger in the hands of demons. I watch the stranger who I figured was Seok-Jin as he looked at my necklace. "It''s playtime, princess." he says before waving his hand in front of my face. I felt my eyelids become heavy and the urge to sleep was powerful. I try to fight it off but knew it was impossible. The last thing I felt before I blacked out completely was a sharp pain in my neck. I was going to die. chapter six The distinct chatter was what woke me up. I opened my eyes, and noticed the musty smell of a warehouse rotting away. I shake my head and notice that I was laying on a disgusting old mattress. I push my numb body up and glanced around. The horrid stench of decaying bodies filled my nose making me sick. I notice a window across the room. It was open, letting in fall air. I stroll over and notice my chance to escape was hopeless. There were bars covering the window. I slump to the ground and run my fingers down my neck. I could feel the rouch edges of the mark that now showed people that I was someone''s property. "You''re up." a voice said distracting me. I look to see a stranger with orange hair watching me. He wore a black suit and had wings that spread out further than a normal angels. I hug my knees as he walks up to me. He doesn''t come more than a few feet from me, his gaze drifted to the door before he came closer. "Who are you?" I ask quietly. My confidence had disappeared and was replaced with fear and doubt. He ran his fingers through my hair before smiling at me. "Names Jung Ho-seok." he answers. "I''m a fallen angel, like you." I scoff at the statement. "You''re nothing like me." I spit at him. "I don''t work for the Devil!" that only seemed to amuse him. He tilted my head sideways as he examined the mark. "Yep, he marked you." Ho-seok says standing up. "Never thought he''d actually do it." I was getting so confused on all these terms and not being able to understand the problem of the situation that I wanted to scream. "Marked?" I repeat. Ho-seok nodded and ran his fingers through his orange hair. "Yes. Min Yoongi is the main servant of the Devil." he explains. "Meaning usually that he can have first pick at slaves and prisoners." I gasp silently at the word ''slave''. I didn''t want to bow down at someone''s every whim. Especially if that someone worked for the Devil himself. I lower my gaze when I realize that I was staring. "I''m a...slave?" I say slowly. Ho-seok chuckled before shaking his head. "Not yet." he says huskily. "He has to turn you into the Devil first." I push my body further into the wall, seeing the real problem. I wasn''t going to die at their hands, I was going to die at the hands of the Devil. "I won''t!" I scream. "You can''t make me!" I close my eyes and cover my head. I wanted to believe this was all a dream and that I wasn''t property of some filthy creature.Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon. "What did I tell you?" I heard Min Yoongi''s voice say harshly. "She''s my property!" I heard rustling before hands took my arms away from my head. I open my eyes and meet the gaze of the one and only responisble for my misery. Min Yoongi. I couldn''t help but glare. Hatred rose in my chest as I clenched my fists. He looked at my face before tracing the mark on my neck. I shudder at his touch as it brought chills up my spine. He sighs and then pulls me up gently. "Are you sure she''s the one he''s looking for?" another dude asked. He had light brown hair and wore a tank top with torn jeans. His wings were taddered and torn, making him look like a fallen angel of the Devil. I look down as I remember Angelia and her pain. It brought sorrow and pain. The guy smirked. "I can taste her sorrow." he replies before walkign up to me. "And it''s delicious." "Who are you?" I ask as Min Yoongi pulls me away from him. He gives Min Yoongi a cautious expression. "Park Jimin at your service." He says extending a hand. I shake it and suddenly feel a surge of warmth and hope. I pull away quickly before he suspects anything. "And over by the door is Jeon Jungkook," Min Yoongi replied bringing my attention to a demon who guards the door. He had milk chocolate brown hair and bright red eyes. He wore a black suit like Ho-seok but it had blood all over it. I felt my shoulder get squeezed and realized Yoongi was glaring. "And then that''s Kim Namjoon." I look to see a stranger with blonde hair looking me up and down. He licked his lips as he waved. "Two vampires, two fallen angels and three demons." I repeat as I remember the warning of Angelia. "You guys are the ones that-" I got cut off by someone grabbing me from Yoongi''s grip. "She smells so good!" his deep voice said. I breath heavily as I could feel my pulse speed up. "Taehyung, don''t!" Namjoon says. "We need her alive." I heard a growl behind me before the grip tightened. "Just one...bite." the person behind me said. Taehyung I figured. I turn my head to the side to see Jungkook staring. Bad choice. I felt a sudden sharp pain in my neck. I yelp as he bit down, sinking his teeth into the side of my neck. I could feel my blood leave my body as he gripped onto my desperately weak body. "Taehyung, that''s enough!" Seok-Jin ordered. "You''re killing her!" I felt my body become light as a feather as my blood left my body. "TAEHYUNG!?" Seok-Jin yelled causing the person behind me to pull away. I collapse to the ground, feeling the room spin. I felt something wet drip on my arm. Forcing my vision to my arm, I saw the crimson liquid drip down my shaking arm and onto the cement floor. "What were you thinking?!" Ho-seok yelled. "She belongs to Yoongi, not you!" I groan as I felt my body being lifted from the ground. "Does it look like I care!?" Taehyung yelled back before turning to Namjoon. "If you tasted her, you''d understand how pure her blood is!" I couldn''t keep my consciousness going. I knew I was dying from blood loss, and there was nothing I could do. "I suggest you stay away from her!" Yoongi said close to me. There was a chuckled before Jungkook walked up. "Just because you ''marked'' her doesn''t make her yours." he spit at him. "What if I mark her as well?" There was a silence before I finally was going to let consciousness slip, but one sentence kept me fighting. "Because if you don''t....I''ll kill you." chapter seven I traced the marking on my neck slowly, finding it intriguing. The way it showed power and property. I couldn''t help but draw in a breath when I heard footsteps behind me. I should''v been afraid, although...I wasn''t. I was calm, collected and totally clear in the head. I push my tangly rat''s nest of hair out of my face as I turned to see who was behind me. Min Yoongi held out my ruby necklace. It must''ve slipped off when Taehyung was biting me. I force a smile before taking it. As I put it over my head, a sudden warmness surged through my body. It took hold of me, immediately submitting me to the will of the demon in front of me. I try to panic, but instead I just smile. "Thank you." I say, but I knew that wasn''t me speaking. That was the dark, desirable version of me. I fought back the urge to say anything else as Min Yoongi scanned me up and down. Stop it. My brain yelled. I hate it. I rub the jewel around my neck, as Yoongi bit his lower lip. "Are you okay?" He asked throwing me off guard. I slowly nod, and glance at the ground. I suddenly felt shy. His once intimidating stare turned into a harmless playful gaze. "Taehyung sure fed a lot off of you." I touch the wound and nod. "Glad I could be of service," I say sarcastically earning a laugh from him. I rub my neck as the burning sensation continues. "Will the burning ever stop?" Min Yoongi nodded. "Eventually. Once you start doing what I tell you to do." He states matter-of-factly. I scoff. "I''m not your servant," I say. "That''ll never happen." Without warning, he grabbed my waist and pulled me close. He leans in next to my ear that I could feel his breath on my skin. "Don''t keep disobeying what you''re told." he whispers. "I''m trying to keep you for as long as I can before I have to give you to the devil." I tensed at the volume and intensity of his voice. It gave me goosebumps at how serious he was. "Understood?" he asked looking at me in the eyes. I felt stuck, and the urge to please his every need. His eyes began to glow a red and that''s when I said the one thing I wish I didn''t. "Yes," I say breathless. He tightened his grip, making me pull in a sharp breath. "Yes, who?" he whispered. I wished I could shove him away. I couldn''t though. It was like he had some sort of control over my body and words.Unauthorized use: this story is on Amazon without permission from the author. Report any sightings. "Yes...oppa." he released his grip and stepped back letting me come to my senses. I shake my head and look around before my gaze set on his smirking. "I love how obedient you are." he says before walking out. ------- I traced the mark, once more. It''s taunting edges left my skin burning. I pushed my rats nest of hair out of my face before sitting on the bed. I didn''t think my life would come to this. Me being a slave to a demon. A really attractive, sadistic demon who knew nothing about affections. Seriously? I thought. Stop encouraging it. I look at the room that I was held in. The scarlet walls were covered in paintings and designs that made my head spin. The wooden floor had a black fur rug in the center that seemed to beckon me towards it. The bed that I was sitting on was a queen and had a burgandy cover with three throw pillows on top. I traced the design with my finger before a bang shook the room. Jumping up, I see Angelia laying on the floor. "Angelia!" I say rushing to her. "What are you doing here? How did you get in here?" She shakes her head. "What does it look like?" She asks. "I''m here to rescue you, and I came through the window, how else?" She brushes herself off before looking at me. "Good heavens, child. You look awful." she brushes her hand across my face and brushes slightly across the mark, making a stinging sensation burst up my neck. I step back, trying to sooth the pain. "That hurt!" I scream holding my neck. She grimaces at the raise of my voice, causing me to sigh. "Sorry," I say quietly. "But...that really hurt." I rub my neck as the stinging died down. She nods. "No, it''s my fault. I should''ve known that my touch would hurt you." I look at her confused as she sits on the bed. "Since you''re marked and belong to a Demon, it means that if you get touched by me, it hurts. Just like I can''t get touched by unclean things, you can''t stand pure beings." I sigh and remove my hand. I could tell some hurt was in her expression. I hadn''t meant to yell, but being a slave to some creature I didn''t have the patience to deal with anymore pain. "I wish I could get rid of this," I say pointing to it. "It''d make escaping easier." Angelia''s face twisted into something excited, nervous and eagerness. I look at her with curiosity. "What?" I ask. "I can get rid of it," she says suddenly. "But...it will hurt." I look at the ground. As much unpleasant it brings, I was desperate to get rid of it. "Do what you have to," I say leaning my head to the side, revealing the mark. She sighs and nods. She slowly touches my neck, and instantly the stinging increased through my neck. It made me want to jerk away, but I forced myself to stay. Her grip tightened, turning the stinging into a burning sensation worse than when the mark was there. I bit my lip from screaming and when she released my neck, I felt a wave of peace and security surround me. I look at her before running my hands down my skin. Smooth and no rough edges. "Now," she says. "Lets get you out of here." Part two: Min Yoongi chapter eight Savanna Henderson. Even the mention of her name brought untameable desires. Desires that took control and sucked every ounce of logic out of my mind. I smirked as my group ranted about how she''s not meant to be here. How she was suppose to be dead, but one thing they didn''t know. Marking someone property to the demon, kept them alive for as long as I needed her. Crossing my arms, I leaned against the wall as Jimin paced. "This isn''t good!" he screamed. "The devil wants her now!" Screw the Devil. I thought. She belongs to me. I was about to say something when I felt the strong connection with Savanna break. I stagger back as the air smacked me in the face. "What''s wrong with you?" Hunger. Desire. It all consumed me. I couldn''t feel me anymore. I felt the demon. The dark desires of him, taking over. I clutch my head as I sink to the ground as the throbbing in my head escalated. I shake my head as the voices continued. ''Find her''. They taunted. ''She can be yours.'' I clutch the wall, hoping to stop the demon from showing. I knew I couldn''t though. One word echoed in the room, clashing with the mixed colors. This story has been stolen from Royal Road. If you read it on Amazon, please report it Hunger. I had to find her. I found the pain unbearable, unliveable. I forced myself as the dark thoughts clouded my head. I turn to the group who backed up. "Min yoongi?" Namjoon asked slowly. I shake my head. "The bond. It broke. She had that twit of an angel remove the mark!" I screamed shoving a table over, pushing the contents all over the floor. The group scurried away as I felt the hunger take over. "I need her back! She belongs to me." There was a chuckle before Jungkook shoved his way through the crowd. "Why are you so worried?" he taunted making my anger boil over. "You don''t love her." I rub my head as the voices continue. "I don''t need love," I say groaning in pain. "Demons can''t love." I take a step and plummet to the hard wooden floor beneath me. I quiver as I notice everything turn a blood red. My demon was taking over. I clench my fists as I used my remaining energy to get up and run to her room. I burst the door open, panting heavily as the red darkened. I notice it empty, making the desire and hunger increase. The further she got away from me, the more I wanted her. "____ it!" I yell pounding the wall before I collapse. I couldn''t keep my humanity anymore. I wanted her; needed her. I push myself up as I felt the darkness finally consume me. I felt a sudden calmness overwhelm me. Her face, her smile. It was all that I needed to track her. "Look out, princess." I say turning to the group. "The demon boys are coming." Taehyung says smirking and wiping his lips. I nod and smirk as the red covered the room. "And we are going to have a little fun." Part three: Savanna Henderson chapter nine I ran with Angelia, feeling the cold wind on my face. I didn''t recongize the forest we were going into, but I had a sudden chilled feeling that this war wasn''t over. It was never over. I was a fallen angel and wanted by seven servants of the devil. I stop at the border of the forest before feeling my neck. It felt foreign and empty without the mark. It was like my body had gotten used to the burning and fed off of of having it. I look at the angels face as her wings fluttered in the cold breeze. I had a sudden anger rage. Rage of loosing my normal life and having to fend between Death and Life. I was sick of running. I clenched my fists as my blond hair hung in my face. My dark wings folded in, turning invisable behind me. I let my eyes roam the forest before backing up. "It''s the only way," she insists. "Trust me." I scoff. The hatred, deadly venom fell from my lips as I gave her a death glare. I couldn''t contain the emotions anymore. All I knew was that the counsel wasn''t willing to help me, and this angel couldn''t stand being touched by an unclean thing. "No." I say. "I go my own way." She flashes me a blank expression before looking behind me. Voices echoed as they got closer. Fear struck her face as she ran into the forest, leaving me. I sigh and try to get my emotions under control. As I open my eyes, a sting hit my cheek as I collapse to the ground. Yoongi stood with anger, hunger and desire mixed together in his expression. His white hair hung in his face as his tattooed embroidered hands touched my face where he hit. I shake in fear. The softness I saw earlier was gone. I look at the green grass. The sun was setting and I could tell that brought the worst in them. I get pulled up by Namjoon who bit his lip. I could tell he was trying his best to contain the urge to bite me. Screw the vampire. I say. He was the least of my worries. "Watch what you say about my friends." Yoongi says giving me a death glare. His eyes were now a crimson red, maybe darker. The demon inside of him was there. I had to figure out a way to calm it down. I then snap my head in his direction. "You can read my mind?" I ask struggling against Namjoon''s tight grip. Yoongi nods before coming closer. I cough as I could smell the alcohol in his breath. Disgusting. If you come across this story on Amazon, it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. "I can do more than that, princess." he cooes, clearly drunk. I shake my head and try to move further away, but can''t. "Since when did you have time to get drunk?" I ask annoyed. "You''re always chasing after me." He rolls his eyes before grabbing me and examing my neck. "She did take it off," he says softly while running his finger down my neck. I shudder and feel goosebumps rise up my skin. I try to shake away, but his grip tightens. "Don''t you know that you belong to me?" He whispered before shoving me to the ground. "Why you little-" "She''s all yours." he says turning away. "Don''t kill her. I need her alive." He walks away as the vampires surround me. I stand up and try to run, but end up bumping into Jimin who fiddled with his ring. He smirks. "Don''t try to run, princess." he advises. "They''re faster and stronger." he step out of the way, as I get tackled by vampires to the ground. I struggle, feeling the coldness of their skin on me. "GET OFF!?" I scream. Before I could shove them off, I feel a sharp pain, making me take in a sharp breath. Using all my energy, I shoved both of them off, pissing them off in the process. "You are sure fiesty. No wonder Yoongi chose you." Taehyung states. I give him an irritated expression. "He has the energy to deal with you." and thats when I broke. Tears just streamed down my face. I couldn''t control it anymore. I didn''t want this. I wanted someone to want me. I wanted to be loved, cherished and not used. I hug myself as I sink to the ground, shocking the six remaining souls that stood before me. "She''s crying." Namjoon said. "Why is she crying?" I could hear mumbles before a sudden rustle behind me. I turn to see Jimin''s eyes flashing gold. "The sorrow.....Pain...." he says trying to get past the group that was holding him back. "It''s so....good." he gets past the other and was about to lunge on me, when a body stopped him. I saw a flash of white through my tearfilled eyes. That''s when I heard the one voice defend me. "Don''t you know anything about girls?" it said. "They need comforting." I start to hiccup as a result to crying. "Who is going to do the comforting?" I heard Jungkook''s cold voice ask. That''s when my humanity cracked. I had not sympathy left. I stood up and shoved all of them. In a speed faster than a vampire. I hit a tree, sending it flying. Anger, sadness, depression, anxiety...it all was mixed. It was a dangerous combination. It could bring anyone to the violent side. I tremble and scream. I can''t hear anything but my pleadings for the pain to go away. I couldn''t recall doing anything. I couldn''t recall begging, but before long...I felt my blood being drained. I felt my sudden pain fade, and I felt strong arms wrap around me as I collapse from blood loss. I look to see the one person I trusted at that moment. The one person I wanted to see, to hear. "Yoongi..." chapter ten I woke up wrapped up in the covers of the bed. I sit up and see a bandage on my arm. The pain wasn¡¯t there, but then I see the syringe. Of course. I thought. They drugged me. I stand up, feeling the frigid feeling of the wooden floor beneath my bare feet. I stagger over, still feeling lightheaded. I tried to open it; wanting air, I felt like I was suffocating. I clutched the window before pounding. Panic struck me. ¡°Whoa, whoa.¡± A voice said catching my attention. ¡°We don¡¯t need you to break the window.¡± I step back as Seok-Jin opens the window, letting in the cold October air. I take in a breath and felt myself relax. ¡°So, are you a vampire too?¡± I ask feeling slightly confident. He chuckles. ¡°No. There are only two vampires in our group. Taehyung and Namjoon. I¡¯m the Devil.¡± I tense up at the mention of what he was. He shook his head. ¡°Not literally. I get called that since I¡¯m the most violent and dark.¡± I cross my arms as he rubs my back. ¡°For a demon, you sure are friendly.¡± I say point of factly. He rolls his eyes. ¡°It¡¯s for Yoongi¡¯s sake.¡± he states, making me curious. ¡°Yoongi?¡± I start. He nods but before he could answer, a beam of bright light hit him. I gasp as I see Angelia appear. Her blond hair hung in her face as her luminescent eyes looked at me kindly. ¡°Why you little-¡± ¡°Ah, watch your language.¡± she says brushing herself off. ¡°That¡¯s the kind of language that will land you a place next to the devil.¡± I flinch as I look at Seok-Jin¡¯s face. Emotionless, yet I caught a glimpse of hurt. ¡°Reality check, lighty.¡± he said before grabbing her. ¡°I already work alongside with the devil.¡± She yelps in pain as he tightened his grip. I watched in horror as her wings begin to turn a night black. She tries to pull away, but only manages to hurt herself. ¡°Please,¡± I beg. ¡°Don¡¯t kill her.¡± Seok-Jin gives me a look that said he didn¡¯t care. I look down. ¡°Let me talk to her first.¡± Seok-Jin released her, and throws her toward me. I grab her and watch him leave with a slam from the door. I look at my angel friend with sympathy. This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there. ¡°Surprise¡¡± she says weakly. I help her to the bed and lay her down, only to have her scream in pain. ¡°It hurts!!¡± she screams. I hurry to help her to the floor. I felt a bit of annoyance at the fact that she couldn¡¯t touch a single thing in this room. ¡°What are you doing here?¡± I ask tapping my foot. I was getting impatient, and frankly annoyed that she¡¯d have to ruin the moment where I was about to get information. She weakly gets up and pats me on the shoulder. ¡°I came to give you advice.¡± I give her a blank look. What advice would I seriously need? Sure, I was trapped with seven servants of the Devil, but lately they had all given me my space and respect that I requested. Yoongi had been less violent, but the again, it was when he wasn¡¯t drunk. ¡°What advice?¡± I finally asked, curious at what she had found out. ¡°How to kill Yoongi.¡± I gasp. A stab of jealousy, protectivness and anger swelled up inside of me. I couldn¡¯t find the strength to kill him. His scarlet eyes had made a mark on me. I lost myself in his gaze; the gaze that started the whole thing. His cold exterior was what drew me to him. He was mysterious, and I was going to find out what he was hiding. ¡°No,¡± I say without thinking. ¡°You aren¡¯t killing Yoongi.¡± I couldn¡¯t help but glare at her. Her angel exterior didn¡¯t seem so innocent anymore. I shake my head. ¡°Get out.¡± I turn my back to her. Hate. It filled my soul. ¡®That¡¯s right,¡¯ yoongi¡¯s voice echoed in my head. ¡®Send her away¡¯. I listened. I wanted to. I needed to. It was like I couldn¡¯t live without his voice in my head. ¡°What?¡± she says stunned. ¡°But-¡± ¡°I said leave!¡± I scream chucking a vase. ¡°I don¡¯t want your help anymore.¡± ¡°I¡¯ll kill him myself then.¡± she says. That¡¯s when I snapped. I grab her arm, hurting her. But right now, I didn¡¯t care. I was too pissed to give a crap. ¡°You kill him, and I¡¯ll kill you.¡± I say before turning away agian. I heard rustling before an ¡®ow¡¯ and when I turned, I saw my only best friend leave. Yoongi was ruining my life. I sigh and look at the ground. I was about to call for Yoongi when a flashed me in the eyes. Rubbing them, I groan in annoyance as a seal floated in front of me. Opening it, I silently curse. ¡°Great. The counsel.¡± chapter eleven I looked down at my hands. Filth covered them, or that¡¯s what it felt like. Living in the presence of a demon, you start feeling dirty and unpure. A feeling I was used to. I rubbed my hands together, trying to calm what feelings I had down. Min Yoongi¡¯s perseption had changed. Changed when I muttered the words, ¡®kill him and I¡¯ll kill you¡¯ to Angelia. I didn¡¯t know what was happening to me. I felt protective of the Devil¡¯s servants. It felt like was wrapped up in some sick, twisted love story that perdicted every move. I leaned back against the leather couch, waiting for the counsel to call me in; not that it was my choice to come. After I threatened Angelia, she hadn¡¯t shown herself. I had to fight for myself...especially when Min Yoongi got drunk. I felt like a different person. A person that had given all her logic to a sweet, tart taste of a life on the run. A darkness that incircled me and wouldn¡¯t let go. A darkness that soothed every scar and pain in my body. I felt like I had the world at my feet. I felt a strong, pleasurable feeling of power at the tips of my fingers. That¡¯s when the counsel called. My eyes glanced up as the gold doors opened. Everything in limbo was gold, reminded me of Heaven. Angelia walked out, looking at her feet. I suddenly felt a sting of guilt from threatening my friend. A friend that protected and stood up for me. I look down as I stand up. I run to her. ¡°Angelia,¡± I say stopping her. She forces her blue and gold eyes to my face, as if not wanting to look at me. Hurt, pain, betrayed scarred her face. I sigh. ¡°I just wanted to apologize.¡± she seemed to tense at the statement. Fallen Angels weren¡¯t known for apologizing. They chose desire over happiness. ¡®Don¡¯t you dare¡¯ min yoongi¡¯s voice ordered making me flinch. He was demanding, controlling and yet, I did as I was told. I understood him. It was that clear. Angelia stood there, looking at me waiting for me to continue. But I didn¡¯t. I stood there; speechless and not finding the courage to speak. Why should I? I didn¡¯t deserve it. ¡°Don¡¯t listen to him,¡± she suddenly says catching me off guard. I shake my head. ¡°He doesn¡¯t control you.¡± I sigh. He did. With or without marking me. It was an unbreakable pair. I was in bondage, yet I didn¡¯t mind. I was letting the soothings of the Devil get to me. ¡°But-¡± I begin. She cuts me off with a scoff. It hurt to see my friend angry. She was always happy. ¡°Are you really that blind?¡± she spits at me. ¡°Demons don¡¯t love!¡± But I did. I loved Min yoongi. He might not, but his petrifying gaze kept me hoping. I turn and walk into the room after Angelia left. Not much to see but a large table in the center with five or so counsel members at it. This was the so-called-counsel that was to help. I released a breath before sitting at the end of the table. Was I nervous? No. Agitated? Yes. The head counsel glared at me. They hadn¡¯t really been there for me, so I didn¡¯t really care for what they had to say. His brown hair hung over his forehead and his icy blue eyes looked at my hazel ones. This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it. ¡°Savanna Henderson,¡± he says shutting a folder. My records. His voice was stern and cold, but it didn¡¯t catch my attention like Yoongi¡¯s did. ¡°Mind explaining to me-¡± I cut him off. ¡°Not really,¡± I say. I wasn¡¯t in the mood to hear a lecture about being loyal to my kind. Not that there were a lot like me. Fallen angels were rare. ¡°Young lady!¡± another member yelled snapping my attention to her. I shake my head while rolling my eyes. ¡°When you¡¯re spoken to, listen!¡± I heard Yoongi¡¯s voice in my head, calming me down. Boy did they know nothing about me. ¡®They should listen to you.¡¯ he says chuckling. I nod and smirk at their angry expressions. ¡°You should listen to me for once!¡± I scream putting them off. I shove items to the floor. ¡°I¡¯m sick and tired of you guys treating me like a child!¡± they stand up to try and stop me, but couldn¡¯t before I spread out my wings out. I rose to the sky. Challenging pride filled my chest as I burst through the doors. No more counsel, no more rules. I get halfway to the portal, only to be stopped by a sharp, agonizing feeling shooting through my back. I try to push further, but the pain turned to burning. Crashing to the ground, I look back to see the counsel surrounding me. Their looks held no sympathy. One was holding a syringe with shiny blue liquid. My poison, my weakness. Shards of glass. I groan as the pain moved from my back, through my wings and into the rest of my body, paralyzing me temporarily. I scream as I felt myself give into the venom, the way I did to the dark. I clench my fists. ¡°Yoongi¡¡± I manage through sharp breaths. ¡°Help¡¡± I didn¡¯t know if he¡¯d come. I was nothing but a toy to him. I gasp as the pain suddenly vanished leaving me to breath heavily. I look to see the counsel shivering in fear. Fear that seemed to drown me in pleasure. I loved to see their weak bodies tremble. The one holding the syringe, backed up and dropped the weapon. I felt the fear radiating off and surround me. It felt...good. I curl up into a ball, trying to stop the remainder of the pain. No matter how much fear they let off, I was still weak. I cough as a burning sensation hit the nerves of my neck. Marking. I thought. Permanent marking. Instantly, I wrap my hands around my neck, trying to subdue the enormous amount of pain that bombarded my body. I look to see Yoongi standing in front of me, facing the counsel. He came. I thought. He really came. In seconds, Yoongi and I were in an Alleyway. The quiet chirping of the crickets, calmed us both. I lay cured up in a ball making sure the pain was for sure gone before sitting up. I touch my neck and feel a rough design on my skin. I was marked again. I sigh and stand up. I felt helpless, weak. I wanted to help. ¡°Thank you,¡± I say looking down. I don¡¯t know why I was feeling so shy all of a sudden. I never let myself get flustered. There was silence before yoongi spoke. ¡°You okay?¡± he asked. His voice was quiet and gentle. I rub my arm and nod. ¡°Good.¡± he says. I peek to see Yoongi¡¯s scarlet eyes turn to their dark normal color. He was attractive either way. ¡°Come on,¡± he said putting his arm around me causing heat to rise to my cheeks. ¡°You can stay with us.¡± chapter twelve I guess everyone has a soft side. Demon or Vampire. Everyone is a three deminsional person. Emotions, and feelings all surround us creating something like a human world. The six cold, emotionless beings embraced me as I enter the hotel. Yoongi had led me all the way to California without me knowing. Being mentally exhausted caused me to black out halfway through the trip. It was still dark, giving the hotel a mystical exterior. Something out of a movie. The welcoming embrace brought tears to my eyes. Something I didn¡¯t expect the happen. Once I felt the warmth of the bodies around me, I felt loved...cared for. More than I did with the counsel. ¡°What¡¯s with you and crying?¡± Namjoon asked releasing me and giving me a genuine smile. I chuckle as I wipe the tears from my scratched face. ¡°Sorry,¡± I say pushing my messy blond hair back. ¡°Guess I¡¯m a little traumatized from previous experiences.¡± Traumatized didn¡¯t seem like the right word. It felt...small. The boys nodded and mumbled among themselves before turning to me. Their grim expressions weren''t cold or dark anymore. They were...playful? Joking? Something that surprised me for killing machines. ¡°Then lets get your mind off of them.¡± Hoseok says standing up. I glance at Min Yoongi who smirks. I had a strange thought to get up and run, but I stayed. Stupid curiosity. In seconds, I was in the pool soaking wet. The light blue water stung my injuries but also helped sooth the growing pain. The boys laughed and danced around as if nothing from the last few days happened. I swam to the edge, pulled myself up with what strength I had, and examined the seven supernatural beings that were acting like children. I cross my arms and gave an amused expression at them. ¡°Come on, girlie.¡± Jungkook says pulling me into the middle. His cold, threatening mood suddenly became innocent and pure. I laugh as Jungkook insults Jimin for being too small before running off with the fallen angel not far behind. I suddenly lose all worries and frustrations before joining in the fun we were having. The luminescent pearl white moon sat in the sky, sending silver rays our way. It was watching over us like a mother and child. I laugh as my body embraces the music and starts to dance as if no one were watching. ------------------ I wrap the heavy blankets around me like a frightened child as I listen to the quiet chirping crickets sing outside. Their peaceful, calming melody filled my room like a virus. My eyes scan my room, finding out that even in darkness, the fabulous and detailed architecture was breathtaking. I run my fingers along the blankets, feeling the soft, soothing fabric on my skin. The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. My thoughts were all over the place, that even trying to think about one topic gave me a migraine. I scan around me. ¡°You should be asleep,¡± Yoongi¡¯s voice suggested startling me. I sit up and see his tall figure in the corner, being hidden by the shadows. What was with this guy and coming in my room without knocking? This dude respected no one¡¯s privacy. ¡°Someone who is in your position needs to rest.¡± I roll my eyes at the statement. Bossy as usual. ¡°Why should I listen to you?¡± I ask pulling the covers around me tighter. I wasn¡¯t taking his presence lightly. ¡°Just cause you marked me, doesn¡¯t mean you own me.¡± I challenge. His brown eyes scanned my agitated face. His smile turned into a smirk that only grew as I pushed my exhausted body out of bed. We were both stubborn, making our ¡®relationship¡¯ interesting. ¡°Are you ignoring me?¡± He asked creeping closer. Closer than I¡¯d like. I heard a hint of amusement in his voice. I nod before backing up and heading to the light switch which was at the other end of the room. ¡°Don¡¯t.¡± he says snatching my arm. His skin was cold, giving me goosebumps. ¡°Why?¡± ¡°Don¡¯t you like the dark?¡± ¡°No, do you?¡± He chuckles as I ask the question. ¡°I¡¯m a Demon. What do you think?¡± I yank my arm away from his cold grasp. The effect he had on me was unbearable. It was like I couldn¡¯t do anything without him prying his soul stealing gaze at my every move. I couldn¡¯t find the courage to continue the conversation. He rendered me speechless with one touch. I cover my neck as I feel his hypnotizing stare on it. I felt so helpless at the presence of a killer. I felt...like his eyes saw through me. My secrets. My lies. It felt like he knew them; his gaze prying the information and forcing my emotions to crumble at every will he wanted. ¡°Get some rest.¡± he replied monotoned while turning to the door and heading to leave. ¡°You meet the others.¡± I felt my face give an expression that matched confusion. ¡°Officially.¡± he added as if seeing my bizarred expression through the pitch black. ¡°I¡¯m not tired.¡± I say crossing my arms. His footsteps decreased and even though it was dark, I could feel the dark hard glare of the Demon. It sent chills down my spine. For those who know nothing about a demon and their rules; disobeying their orders when you¡¯re their property is like sentencing your own death. Demons hate being taunted and mocked. I take a step back, frightened at how silent the room was. It was like he left the room without me knowing. ¡°Yoongi?¡± I slowly say trying to eas the tension that was building up. ¡°Go. to. Sleep.¡± his voice whispers behind me. I gasp as a strange sensation struck me and my eyeslids became heavy. The room began to spin rapidly. The stillness of the night seemed so peaceful that I didn¡¯t care about worries or concerns. My body was finally relaxing. I felt it start to collapse beneath me, but the impact of the hard ground never came. I felt my body lift and then a soft surface touch my head. Then I just let the amamzing feeling of sleep overcome the rest of my body as I roam the endless road of dreams. Part four: Min Yoongi chapter Thirteen I shut the silky maroon curtians as the scorching sun curiously peeked over the towering mountain tops. The sky was a diamon blue, making me grimace in disgust. The horrid light bounced back as the shades closed it off, smothering the room in darkness. I brushed my fingers through my hair as I entered the living room where everyone except Savanna sat, pondering over the previous night. We had the girl in our grasp. We had made her believe that we had other sides to us. That we were good and cared for her. We just needed her to put her trust fully in us. That way, we were able to take her to the underworld and kill her. Feeding her soul to the Devil. We had her in our grasp; in my grasp, but then that good-for-nothing angel came and interfered. Ruining everything. It had taken all my strength to regain control of the fallen creature¡¯s mind. It had taken everything, I was too weak to use my abilities on her. I took a seat next to the fireplace and stared intently in the dancing flames. The heat radiated off, slapping me in the face. My thoughts were scattered. I didn¡¯t love her; I knew the effect I had on Savanna. She was getting more and more lost in the world of Demons and Vampires. She was a fallen angel. She was vulnerable to almost all. There was one thing I had to prevent her from being subject to. I glance over at Taehyung. His brown hair hung in his face as he tapped his foot. Patience was something that Vampires couldn¡¯t handle. They didn¡¯t know how to play the game. They took what they wanted, when they wanted. Us demons, however, learned the rules. We turned any situation into a game, and right now...it was a game of her feelings. ¡°Min Yoongi,¡± Jungkook¡¯s voice said snapping me out of my thoughts. ¡°What do we do now? We have part of her trust¡¡± ¡°We need all of it.¡± Ho-seok says standing up. ¡°You know the Devil won¡¯t wait forever. Halloween is the prime time to get what he wants. We each get something we want on halloween.¡± I nod. Feeling the strong feeling of my demon clawing at my soul, I knew that it was time I played my card. It was my turn to roll the dice and make my move. The question was...what was my move? --------------- Savanna walked out, staggering slightly. Her bright blond hair hung in her face, messily covering her face. She knocks into the wall as she enters the kitchen. I glance at the calender. Halloween was this upcoming Wednesday, which was two days away. I had to make my move quickly. She falls into the chair by the table and rubbed her eyes. She tilts her head toward the window, giving me a perfect glance at the Lock on her neck. The detailed tattoo gave meaning and life to my plan. I clear my throat before walking to her. ¡°You okay?¡± I ask, trying to make my voice sound as sympathetic as I could. She seemed to believe it, cause she gave me a bright smile. ¡°Yeah,¡± she answers. ¡°Fine.¡± This novel''s true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there. I could see the true colors. Her wings were slowly turning white, panicking me slightly. I couldn¡¯t let her submit to the counsel up there. They¡¯d teach her the truth...the real plan that was throbbing in my head. I hurry to get closer to her, trying to get into her head. I knew I couldn¡¯t control her actions, but I could control her thoughts, resulting in the actions that I wanted. ¡°So I was thinking,¡± I begin gaining her attention instantly. ¡°Maybe you¡¯d like to get to know the others personally?¡± She nodded her head and pushed her breakfast away from her. That sparked a feeling of pride in my chest. She was becoming more like us every second. Soon, her actions would lead to her doom. Her death. ¡°Sure,¡± she says giving me a genuine smile. I force a smile and stand up. ¡°Who do you want me to meet first?¡± I think about it. Namjoon was the safest around her, yet...knowing his ideal for blood type, I knew I couldn¡¯t leave her alone with him. Jimin fed off sorrow and sadness, yet she wasn¡¯t upset. Then I realized his strong feelings for her, springing jealousy in my chest. Heck no. Jungkook wanted her dead. The two safest that I could think of was Seok-Jin and Ho-seok. ¡°Go see Seok-Jin. Then go to Ho-seok.¡± I instruct. ¡°From there, you choose.¡± She nods and begins to walk past me, but I stop her by grabbing her arm and stop her. I put on a serious expression as I said the last few words. ¡°Choose wisely. You belong to me.¡± She seems to freeze as I held onto her arm. It would be so simple to just drag her to the underworld and kill her. It¡¯d save so much time and save us this little game. But I knew the rules. It had to be of their own free will. But then again...when did I ever follow the rules. I was about to drag her toward the door, when Jin walked in. His eyes landed on my hand grasping her arm. I release it and let her walk past as Jin stood there glaring. ¡°Don¡¯t tell me you were about to break the rules.¡± he says agitating me. I roll my eyes and growl under my breath. I was so sick of this guy. Mind your own business. I thought. Jin sighed. ¡°You know what happened when you break the rules.¡± I nod. I did. Did I care? Not one bit, but if I wanted the transfer to work, I had to listen to the rules. ¡°I know,¡± I say leaning against the counter. ¡°But it would save us so much time if we just dragged them to the boss and let him kill them.¡± Jin nods and brushed his brown hair out of his face. ¡°Yes, well...rules are rules.¡± he says. ¡°You chose this for yourself.¡± I shake my head. ¡°Don¡¯t start! I don¡¯t wanna hear about how I chose this destiny for myself. I didn¡¯t.¡± I look at the doorway as I see the objects from previous victims. Victims that had given me what abilities I had now. ¡°I know it¡¯s a sensitive topic for you, Yoongi.¡± Jin says. ¡°But if you don¡¯t talk about it, you may do something you¡¯ll regret to future victims.¡± He turns to leave before flinging a shiny piece of metal at me. I look at it. The ruby Savanna wore. It was smooth to the touch and seemed to relax what stress I had. Being a fallen angel would be so easy. They didn¡¯t have to worry about rules, and jobs. They didn¡¯t have to worry about killing and hunting. They had to worry about being hunted. I sigh. Savanna had so much to live for. If we continued..her life would end midway. She¡¯d miss out on so many great experiences. I roll my eyes. ¡°So what?¡± I asked myself. ¡°She¡¯s the next wanted.¡± I drop the gem in the pile with the other victims belongings and exit the room. ¡°It¡¯s all part of the game.¡± Chapter Fourteen I stepped out into the evening breeze. I had waited all day to come outside to relieve some stress. It felt like my head was going to explode. The thoughts....the desires....they were taking over me. I had to keep my head straight. I couldn''t let silly little feelings take over and distract me from what was important. I rush out of the house, and off the porch right as I felt a stab of an uncontrollable urge to kill her. My demon was getting stronger. She was feeding him, encouraging him to the point where I knew following some stupid rules weren''t going to work for me. This is my playing card. I thought. Either break the rules and kill her, or go insane. I tense up as I hear Savanna''s voice behind me. Jimin''s voice rang in my ears as I gripped the metal fence. My knuckles were turning white from the hatred that was rising in my chest. I close my eyes and picture the scene. The scene that would return my former life. She would be following me down to the underworld, completely oblivious of what was going to happen. She would just trust me. She had no idea that her soul would become part of the Devil''s collection. She wouldn''t understand that she''d watch her loved ones forget her. She''d watch her funeral, the sorrow that would feed Jimin and make him stronger. She wouldn''t understand that her blood would go to Namjoon and Taehyung, and most of all, she wouldn''t understand that her sensing demons and other mythical creatures would go to me. She''d be dead. "Yoongi!" Savanna''s voice said beside me, startling me. I look to the side and is met by her gentle gaze. "Yeah?" I say monotoned. Jimin flashes me a death glare that if looks could kill, I''d be dead...if I wasn''t already. "I mean, is something wrong?" she looks at Jimin before looking at me. "I might like someone...." she drifts off as her eyes scans my face before going to the ground. I clench the gate tighter. A deep, sour feeling filled my heart. I stare at Jimin who gave her a playful wink. I could tear his head off if I wasn''t under the rules of the game. I could see the surrounding area turn a scarlet red before a deep sensation came over me. Desire. Hunger. This time I don''t fight it. I let it come on. Jimin sees, and backs up. "I''ll leave you two alone." he says before hurrying back inside. The fear...it was radiating off. I glance at Savanna who seemed to sense the fear as well. "Screw it." I say before grabbing her. I pull her close, closer than I''d normally like, but if I was going to win this game, I had to play the way any other Demon would. I had to play with my feelings as well. I gently push her back into the trunk of the weeping willow that was gently swaying in the autumn breeze. I could feel Savanna''s heart rate speed up at how close I had gotten.Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere. I couldn''t help but smirk. The scarlet red was getting darker as I got closer. I leaned in, where I was next to her ear. "What''s wrong, princess?" I whispered seductively. "Scared?" My grip tightens as I move away a little. "N-no." she says with her voice quivering. Truth be told, I kinda felt bad for playing with her emotions like this. I could tell that she truly believed every word I said. It made the game easier. It made it more pathetic as well. Smirking, I loosen my grip a little before leaning in. I was close to her lips when she put her hand in front of my face. "What are you doing?" she asks, seeming shocked. I give her an amused expression. Keep it cool, Yoongi. The voice in my head said. Make her believe that you love her. I move her hand gently to her side. "What does it look like?" I cooed. "I''m showing you that I love you." She stands there shocked. It was the perfect opportunity to kiss her. To make her believe that I truly did love her. I lean in. She closes her eyes; we were inches apart. I could tell she remembered the first time. The first time I kissed her. That was the beginning of the game. And it was about to end. I move forward, ready to kiss her, when I froze. The tempting feeling of killing her then and there was strong. The scarlet surrounding died down and returned to her normal color. I back up, feeling Savanna''s heart beat decrease to the normal speed. I wasn''t ready to play this card yet. The playing card would come at the end. I smirk as I release her completely. This kiss would be bitter sweet. It would be full of hatred and bitterness, but also full of fake love and passion that told her...She was about to die. ------------------------------- I proceeded further in the house. The stillness of it all brought a soothing comfort to my soul. I opened the door to my room. A heavy breath escaped my lips. I felt the power at my finger tips. I could use it now. I could manipulate Savanna into doing what I wanted. "Yoongi!" a stern voice yelled waking me from my thoughts. I look to see my mirror glowing. The devil. I silently curse and stroll over, putting on my nutreul expression. No way was I going to tell him my plan was working perfectly. "How''s the girl?" he asked. I stared at my reflection. "She''s harder to deal with than we expected." I lie. "But don''t worry...we have her where we want her." there was silence before the boss spoke. His voice held annoyance, the kind I was having at that very moment. "Will you send her on Halloween?" he asked. I glared at the floor. Dang the Devil. Dang him and all his evil doings. If it wasn''t for him, I wouldn''t be stuck doing this mess. I force a smile before facing the mirror. "We will." I lie once more. "We learned from the best." I turn to the window. "She''s weakend you." The devil said through the mirror. "Her love is affecting you." I shake my head. It wasn''t. I had no feelings for a fallen angel. It was a waste of time and energy. "No." I say clenching my fists. "She hasn''t." "Then why do you look...flustered?" I smirk as I hold the ruby in my hand. "Because, boss." I say before putting the jewel in front of the mirror. "It''s all part of the game." I wrap the chain around my hand before tapping the jewel three times. It glows a bright red before settling back to it''s natural light pink shade. I head for the door. "Don''t worry, boss." I say opening the door. "She''ll be all yours once Halloween comes around." Part Five: Savanna Henderson: Chapter fifteen I stand there speechless. He wanted to kill me. I wasn''t a toy to him...I was bait. I back up from the door and felt my heart shatter. Not just a normal shatter, but a hard crushing, cold heart shattering. Tears began to stream my face as I realize the situation. I turn to leave when I notice Ho-seok standing there, speechless. I could tell there was no emotion in his eyes. All I saw was truth and darkness. "you knew about this?" I scream. Ho-seok lowered his gaze before looking at Yoongi as he walked beside me. I step away from him, hurt and betrayed. "you want to kill me." I say not saving his feelings. not that a demon had one. Yoongi''s gaze fell on mine. "yes," he says not even flinching. I gasp before feeling my body finally give up the emotions. I cry. I just cry and cry and cry. I didn''t care if they killed me. It was better than being a slave to one who didn''t love me. "I don''t love." Yoongi''s voice said in my head. ''get that silly idea of me ever loving you out of your head.'' I look up to see him staring at me with a nutreul expression. I hug myself as I sink to the ground. "Ho-Seok," Yoongi said. "leave us." I heard mumbles before a door shutting. I feel a grip on my arm before Yoongi pulled me up. I shake my head as I feel a sting on my cheek. I hold in the urge to cry even harder. I could feel the agonizing feeling of being used...hated...betrayed. I look at Yoongi''s face. Those penetrating eyes didn''t seem to have the same effect like they did previously. If you find this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the infringement. My head started ringing. It throbbed with pain, and then all I heard was screaming. Pleadings of girls saying they were going to die. I grab my head as I felt my logic and skull being pressured. It felt like it was being compressed together and a sharp pain hit me. I scream, startling Yoongi. "you aren''t suppose to eavesdrop!" he screams. I shake my head. "you need to listen to me for once!" I push him back before feeling the screaming and voices increase. "LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN!!!" I scream. "IT''S ALWAYS LISTEN!" I push the objects off the shelf and sink to the ground. I couldn''t control it. "it''ll get worse if you keep fighting it. Just remember what-" I cut Yoongi off by throwing a vase at him. My rage was over the board. "Shut up! Just shut up!" I cry harder as the pain descended from my head to my body, making it unbearable. "I can''t control it...I feel like I''m torn apart." I clutch my head as the screams become louder, preventing me to hear what Yoongi was saying. "your abilities will only get stronger, Learn to control it." yoongi says next to me. I pant as my body began to give into the pain. I give Yoongi a pleading look, trying to get to him. "Make it stop." I say before screaming in pain. "I can''t control it!" I felt strong arms around me before Yoongi''s turned my head toward him. His gaze was back to the sweet, gentle one that brought me peace and uncontrollable desire. "you''ll be okay..." I shake my head as the room began to spin. "you just need to satisfy that power." I clutch my head. "let us out!" the voices roared. ''we can give you so much power.'' I look at Yoongi. "how?" I ask. He smiles. "you need to Kill Angelia." chapter sixteen I held the dagger. It was warm as I hid it behind my back. The voices were getting louder, screaming, tearing at me as if I was paper. I couldn''t control it anymore. I had to find something to stop this and Yoongi said to kill Angelia. I walked down the road, looking for the pure friend. "Angelia?" I call out, hoping to catch her nearby. "What?" she asked. I gasp as she appears. Her feathered wings folded in, and her face was still hurt. I couldn''t find the courage to do it. I clutched the knife till it was rubbing against my back. I close my eyes as the voices yelled...screamed at me to do it. "What do you want?" she demanded. I flinch. "Nothing.." I drift off, lowering my gaze t othe floor. "I just want to apologize-" I was cut off by unbearable pain shot through my head. I scream and drop the knife. Clutching my head, the spinninng increased as I curled up in a ball. Shaking my head, I couldn''t see in a straight line. All I could see was the blurry colors surrounding me. "Savanna?" she asked concerned. "What''s going on? Where did this mark come from?" she touched my neck, making the pain escalate. "The screaming..." I say drifting off. "They''re trying to take over." I clutch my head as the screaming blocked out all the rest of the sound. "Make it stop!" "Let us out." The voices ordered. "Let us out! Now!" I scream and shake my head. A tearing feeling spread like wildfire. I clutch the ground trying to regain control. "It feels like i''m being ripped apart..." I say breathing heavily. I could feel Angelia''s presence near me. It was fading. She was leaving me. I scream in pain as the voices grew and grew. I gasp as the colors grew a venomious red. A red that seemed like only vampires would see when they were hungry.Support the creativity of authors by visiting the original site for this novel and more. I could feel the fear radiating off. It was pleasurable, and it brought such peace and relaxation that I was tempted to actually give in to what the voices were saying. Feeling the enormous amount of fear hit me, I manage to take a calming breath and look directly at my target...Angelia. "Don''t lose control," she instructs, "it''s dangerous." I smirk before spreading my wings. I look to seem them completely black. It went perfectly with my blond hair and hazel eyes. Angelia gasps as my shadow fell over her as I come closer. "Anything powerful is dangerous..." I say smirking sinisterally. I grab the knife laying beside her and look at her with curiously. "You wouldn''t kill me." she challenges. I chuckled. Of course I was. Just not with a knife. No. A knife was too good for her. Her blood would only make me more responsible for my rebellion. What I was going to do was much worse. "Oh, don''t worry," I say kneeling down. "I''m not going to kill you...with this." I throw the dagger to the side and held her petrified gaze. "Oh no. I''m going to do something much worse." She backs up as far as she could before hitting a brick all. "Savanna, don''t listen to the voices..." she begins to say but I caught her off by screaming. The pain....it was hurting. More than before. "Stop." I say clutching my head. "Savanna, listen to me." she says. I shake my head, annoyed that she kept saying that. "We''ll get through this." I scream. "Listen to you, listen to them!" I scream. "It''s always listen!" I cry in pain as they began to take over. The world flashed from blood red to normal colors. I shake my head and fall to the ground. "Savanna, I know you''re in alot of pain, but-" I couldn''t handle it anymore. "SHUT UP!" I throw the dagger in her way, pinning one of her wings. I sigh as I saw her struggle to pull it out. The sizzle signalled me that she was getting affected by the filth on the knife. "You know nothing." my voice was a mix of mine and a deeper version. "Savanna..." she begins. I shake my head before glaring. "I wanna kill you with my bare hands." Chapter seventeen I wiped the blood off of my hands as I stared at my work. I had finally let the voices take over. I felt...new. I felt powerful. I smirk as I see Angelia''s head crushed. The side was caved in and blood leaked out. It created a black color against the pavement. I walk forward and flutter my now pitch black wings. I felt new....amazing. "Well done." Min Yoongi''s voice said ringing in my ears. I turn to see him staring at the mess. I turn and look at the limp body. Every emotion in my body was gone. All I card about was killing, and feeling the amazing pleasure of fear submerge me. "She put up a fight, but I finally got to her." I say. The surroundings around me was a red. A blood red. I look at her chest and see her heart. The blood coursing through it, made my thirst escalate. "You sure are hot when you''re mad." Yoongi says looking at me with the hungry eyes. I cross my arms and give him a smirk. "Put that dirty mind away," I say, "I''m not done yet." I walk forward, feeling the sudden pleasure of creating a bloody mess. I grab the dagger and examine the edge. The shiny blade shined brightly in the sunlight. I notice strangers stare, shocked and scared. I glance at Yoongi who nodded in approval. I grab onto Angelia''s arm to hold her before sticking the weapon in her chest. I twist it, blood squirted on me, before I hear a snap. I jerk out and pull out the heart. It was covered in blood, which dripped down my arm. I hand the dagger to Yoongi with the heart still attatched. I watched as the crimson blood oosed out onto the gravel, getting soaked up by the ground. I look at my bloodcovered arm. "How do you feel?" a deep voice asked. I see the group standing there, blocking the scene. The strangers were still watching, making me feel irratated.A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. "Sick of the audience." I say honestly before rising to the ground. "Did you see it?" one stranger says. "She''s an angel! I thought Angels didn''t kill." I clench my fists before landing in front of them and dragging them into the allyway. "What are you doing here?" I whisper in the ear. I felt the fear pounce off, soaking into my skin like juice. I bite my lip, trying to contain the urge to snap their neck and hear the petrifying scream. "Uh..." the stranger begins. "You have three seconds before I break your neck in half and feed you to the vampires." I whisper dangerousily. The trembling increased, causing me to laugh as I push them to the ground. Taehyung eyed the strangers hungrily and Namjoon creeped closer. "Well?" I demand. I stand next to Yoongi who glares cold daggers. His eyes dug into their soul, drinking every last ounce of courage out of their limp bodies. "Three, two, one. Time''s up." I fly over and grab one of the strangers and jerk their head. I heard a bloodcurdling snap before the body fell. "NOOOO." the other stranger yelled. Her red hair hung in her face. "You killed him!!" I roll my eyes. "Of course I did stupid." I insult. "And you''re next." I grab the girl and turn her to Taehyung. I reveal the neck, making his gaze turn to pure hunger. "She''s all yours." In seconds, Taehyung was biting her, and her petrifying scream rang in my ears, feeding my inner demons. As her limp body fell from Taehyung''s grasp I heard the voices. Voices that seemed to tell me this was wrong. "We need one more thing from you," Ho-Seok says catching my attention. I look at him, the red vanishing. I gasp as I see the scene. "What..." I stutter. Min Yoongi grabs my shoulders. "We need you to give up your wings." he says. I felt frozen, trapped. I was about to protest, when I felt lips on mine. Min Yoongi''s grip tightened, pulling me closer like he was desperate. The kiss didn''t last long, but it was strong and passionate. It took my breath away. I grabbed onto his jacket, feeling the closeness close in even more. I wanted this. I needed this. I stagger back as he released me. "Do we have a deal?" he asked. I look at him, seeming to be dazed and under a spell. "Deal." chapter eighteen I sit in my room. There was nothing else that I could do. It was either that or confront Yoongi about the kiss. It brought back the first time I met him. The bedroom at night, when he marked me. I run my cold fingers down my neck, and feel the marking. It was so strange how I didn''t mind being marked. I felt secure and safe. Running my hands over my blond hair, I sigh. I couldn''t believe that I had killed Angelia. It was like...it released all these emotions when I saw her crimson blood drip down. "What''s happening to me?" I ask to myself. A low chuckle rang from behind me. Turning I see, Ho-seok standing there, with his arms crossed. His wings fluttered as he moved toward me. His orange hair hung over his eyes as he came inches from me. "Hello, princess." he cooes. I back up. "You can''t do anything. I''m Yoongi''s." I state, hoping that would make him back off. It didn''t. Instead he came extremely close, scaring me in the process. "You don''t get it, do you?" he whispers. "He didn''t just mark. We all did." My breath shortened, and I felt the voices return. They ached as they screamed and demanded to be released. "Once Yoongi''s mark got taken off, we all had to pitch in to remark you. That''s why you can hear the souls. It''s something that demons can hear. They aren''t affected since they did the killing, but you-" I cut him off by screaming. "Make them stop!" I scream. Ho-seok lifted my chin so I was looking at him. His smirk grew. "Only a Demon can do that." I felt hatred toward them all of a sudden. Hatred coursed through every pulsing vein I had. I flutter my wings as I listened to the voices. They brought false comfort, they brought nothing but lies. "but...I''m not a demon!" I scream as Ho-Seok turns to the door. He only stops for a seconds, before opening the door. "You will be soon." ----------- The crickets chirped. I stood on the balconey, letting the cold air hit my face. I felt scared, and not only scared but feeling like I had to get out. I had to get out and away before I ended up like them. Like the evil creatures they were. I head for the door, only for it to slam shut. Backing up, I felt a presence behind me. I spin around. Jimin sat on the ledge with his wings spread out behind him.If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. "Shouldn''t you be in bed?" He asked. I cross my arms. "Last I checked, you weren''t my mother." I insult. Jimin rolls his eyes and jumped beside me. I felt the cold, hard energy radiate off of his strong body. "Don''t you get it by now?" he asked startling me. His eyes stared in mine as he creeped closer. Closer than I''d like him to. "By Halloween, you''ll become us." Halloween? That was tomorrow night! I couldn''t become like them, no matter how much of an influenze they had on me. I back up and shake my head. "You''ve got it all wrong!" I scream trying to open the door. "I''ll never become like you!" I get the door open, before having it slam shut. Jimin''s fun, flirty personality disappeared and was replaced with a dark exterior. One the belonged to the devil. "You can''t leave. You''re marked." He states. I touch my neck. I was fully aware of the fact that I was marked. "By all seven of us!" I felt a sting as Jimin withdrew his hand back. What was with these people and slapping me? "You need to respect us!" Respect? These creatures knew nothing about respect and how to earn it. I held the tears back as the voices rang in my ears. ''Push him.'' they echoed. I didn''t know what I did, or how, but in seconds, Jimin was in the air with me holding onto him. He flew me through a window and right into a wall. I felt a jolt of pain surround my body as I hit the wooden floor. I shake my head as I look to see all seven of the creatures staring at me. Yoongi glared at Jimin before kneeling beside me. "You alright?" He asked. I nod. "I think so." "Good." before I knew it, he was dragging me out into the hall and pushing me against the wall so I couldn''t move. His eyes flashed bright crimson red before his lips came to my ear. "Disobey us again...and I won''t be so caring next time." He moved away, examinging my horrified expression. "You-you''d hurt me?" I ask quietly. He shakes his head before moving my head to the side. "No, but Taehyung will." I gasp as his grip pries from my body and a cold touch replaces it. I take in a sharp breath as a sharp pain escalated through my neck. I scream, and try to move but the grip only tightens as my blood drains. "Taehyung...." I say weakly. "S-stop. P-please." When the pain stopped, I was met by Taehyung''s blood dripping face. I touch my neck and felt the liquid on my fingers. "Will you listen to us from now on?" He asks. His deep voice brought shivers down my spine. I look at the ground, feeling the blood ooze down my neck. Taehyung ran his finger up my neck, drawing the blood. I felt weak from bloodloss. "Well?" He asks licking his finger. "Y-yes." I say before completely passing out. Chapter Nineteen I finally woke up. My head was pounding. I couldn''t recall what was going on, or what happened the previous night, but the only word echoed in my throbbing head. Demon. I was surrounded by seven of the hottest demons that worked for the Devil. I step out of the bed and stretch. My neck was stiff and hurt. And then, I remembered the previous events. Yoongi threatening me and then Taehyung biting me. I rub the wound and then flinch as a sharp pain jolted up my neck. I pull away and look at my hand. No blood. Sighing in relief, I hurry to get dressed and look out the window. If I was going to escape their grasp before getting sacrificed tonight, I needed a foolproof plan. A plan that they wouldn''t expect. Pushing my now, fixed blond hair out of my face, I examine the yard. A large metal fence wrapped around the massive mansion and the evergreen shrubbery seemed like a good place to hide. Fluttering my wings, I smell the sweet scent of fresh blood. Diverting my gaze, I see a baby deer or a bambi staggering next to the fence. ''kill it.'' the voices ordered. ''you want to.'' I wrap my arms around my head, trying to shut the voices out. I didn''t know what was happening. I was willing to do anything Yoongi said and now I was hearing the desperate voices of souls, tempting me to kill. Tempting me to submit to the satisfying feeling of darkness. Stolen story; please report. "you see it, don''t you?" Namjoon''s voice asked behind me. Spinning around I gasp as he''s standing there holding a dead deer body up. My vision suddenly turned scarlet. I cough as the smell of blood increased, making my sanity flicker. The voices seemed to scream, pounding on my brain screaming at me to grab it. To sink my teeth in it''s soft flesh. "What''s happening to me?" I ask breathing heavily as I sink to the ground and grab onto the bed to try and keep me from lunging at the dead creature. "you''re marked by us, remember?" Namjoon says. "that means you have a part of each of us. The vampire instincts are stronger than a fallen angel or demon. So you''re able to smell blood stronger than me or Taehyung. And you''re able to see souls like the three demons." I hold on tighter to the bed, shaking my head. "I wont become like you!" I scream. I stare at Namjoon before rushing toward the window. I throw myself through the glass, escaping from the horrid room. Crashing to the ground, I felt the sharp edges dig into my flesh, but that didn''t stop me from getting up and running to the gate. Looking back, I see Namjoon glaring before walking away. I didn''t wait to see what would happen. I wanted to get out of there before all seven of them come after me. I make it past the gate, before an unbearable pain shot through my neck. I clutched it screamed. The burning sensation was getting stronger, the further I got from the house. I rubbed my neck, trying to stop the burning sensation from escalating throughout my body. I couldn''t. Backing up back into the yard, the burning stopped. A sense of relief washed over me. "okay, then." I say glaring at the house. "if you wanna play it like that, then we''ll play it like that." Part Six: Min Yoongi chapter Twenty She tried to leave. That was so foolish. She had no idea what she was going to get when I found her. I slammed the door shut as I step into the lobby. She stood there touching her neck. I could tell that it burned her. The fresh smell of burning flesh was strong, and yet I found it amazing. I grab her arm, give her a glare before dragging her up the stairs and into my room. I slam the door, causing the room to shake. "ARE YOU STUPID!?" I scream making her flinch. "do you seriously have no brain in that pretty little head of yours?" I look at her, seeing her fear filled face. I sigh and sit on the bed. "you are trying to kill me!" she spat at me. Her blond hair hanging in her face. I couldn''t find the strength to do it anymore. The temptation to just kill her was strong...two strong. I clenched my fists before standing up and backing her up against the wall. "Because it''s my assignment!" I say hesitating to touch her face. The gentleness in her gaze seemed to calm me down. Her hazel color stood out against the bright sun. Her blond hair hung in her face as she stared at me, dumbfounded. Her now pitch black wings fluttered. "I would never want to kill you on purpose." I could feel her trust slowly return. The game was working. "really?" she asks. I nod. "I love you." I felt sick saying those words. I felt like I was going to gag as she comes closer before looking at the ground. "yoongi..." I cut her off by kissing her. It was part of the game and I had to be fully involved. I pull her close, maybe too close for comfort but I did it. I had to make her believe that I loved her. I touch her face as she started to kiss back. She grabs onto my jacket, gripping it like her life depended on it. When I pulled back, she stood there. Dazed. I smirk as I guide her to the bed. She collapses and slowly closes her eyes. I move the strand of hair out of her face as I examined her gorgeous complexion. She was beautiful. Love what you''re reading? I signal for him to be quiet and point to Savanna who snuggled against the pillows. "we have a problem." ----------- "What do you mean I have to kill her?" I demand in the mirror once we got it out of my bedroom. The devil chuckled. "you see? She''s weakened you." he snaps. "she must come now!" I clench my fists. The know-it-all was ruining my plans. I push my hair out of my face before pacing back in forth. There was no way for me to actually kill her before Halloween or else her soul will just roam free till it can find a body. "why do you want her now?" I ask. The devil chuckled as the ruby floated above me. It glowed crimson red, making me realize the spell I put on it. The influential spell. I grab it and gaze into it. "Use this." he ordered. "get her to agree to come to the underworld." with a loud bang, the mirror cracked signalling the end of the conversation for a good while. I sigh and shake my head. Turning to the group, I give them a disbelief look. "are you going to do it?" Jimin asked. "we can all see that she changed you." I was starting to get really sick of everyone saying that. "Of course I''m going to do it!" I scream, "it''ll get the assignment done and over with." I start for the door and then turn to Jimin. "I need you to do something for me." He looks at me with curiosity. "what?" "I need you to make a move on her." I explain. "that way, she''ll come crawling to me and she''ll be more vulnerable to influence." Jimin''s wings fluttered before he nodded. "sure." he says before walking out of the room. I look at the ground and feel the human of me return. "you sure you''re going to be okay with this?" Ho-Seok asks. "you know the legend. Once a demon falls in love, he and the ones he chooses can be free from the curse." I did know the story. I wanted that to happen. "I''m not in love." I say shaking my head. "And she''d never learn to love someone like me." I walked out and stopped at my room. She slept soundly, smiling. I chuckled before kissing her on the forehead. "who am I kidding?" I say turning to the group. "we aren''t giving her to the devil." The group gives me a confused look. "what are we going to do then?" Seok-Jin asks. I slam the ruby on the ground, causing it to shatter. "we''re helping her escape." Chapter twenty One "Come with me," I say pulling Savanna along through the house. She stared at me with confusion. She knew that I knew about how I played with her emotions. I just had one thing to tell her. "I won''t kill you." When I said those words, she seemed to relax. We arrive at the vehicle, pile in and then take off. I look behind me and sigh in relief as I see no one. Savanna pushed her hair out of her face before tapping me on the shoulder. "Are you alright?" she asks. I take a breath and nod. "Just making sure you''re safe." I say honestly. I look at Jungkook who shook his head in disapproval. His dark eyes glared hungrily at Savanna and I knew the results of us trying to leave. Death for Savanna and having our souls pried out for us. We had only one chance to do this. Taking her hand, I give her a reassuring smile. "What''s going on?" she asks looking around. I feel the car jerk to a sudden stop. Catching myself, I look out the window and see black misty fog encircling the car. I "______ it." I say before looking at Savanna. "Demon, remember?" I lock the door before looking at the group. "What are you going to do?" Namjoon asks me. I glance around, hoping to find something to protect us. Nothing. I begin to panic. I knew I couldn''t kill the Devil, or play at his game. He''d the advantages. I was about to reply but Savanna''s scream startled me. She clutched her head as she tried to keep quiet. I hold her close before having the car door fly open. The group backs up as the fog spreads itself inside, suffocating us. I pry myself away from Savanna long enough to put a barrier around us. Hoseok and Jimin flap their wings, sending the mist outside. Enjoying this book? Seek out the original to ensure the author gets credit. "The devil knows about your escape plan," Jungkook says. "you need to either kill her yourself or admit that you love her!" I look at Savanna as she looks at fog with fear. "I-I can''t!" I say shivering. memories flooded my head. Memories that made me do what I did. "Forget about Su Ki!" Jimin screams as the petrifying heat hit the car. "She doesn''t mean anything to you! She''s dead!" I clench my fists as I see the knife on the seat beside us. It would''ve taken one cut. One small cut for all this torture to be over...but I couldn''t bring myself to do it. Today was Halloween. She had so much to live for; I couldn''t end her life. Throwing the knife, I heard an ''ow'' before crimson eyes appeared next to the door. The group intensified as a low chuckle rang through the atmosphere like a virus. It brought shivers down my spine as a dark hand reached in and took Savanna''s arm. She yelped and pulled away. "Make the screaming stop!" she screams. "Please....it hurts." I look to see the mark. I look at the group before nodding. ''Don''t do it.'' a deep voice said gaining my unwanted attention. ''you know the consequences.'' I did. But I didn''t care. I move Savanna''s head so she was looking at me. "I''m going to help you," I say, "I''ll make the pain go away." My gaze drifts to the mark on the side of her neck. Moving her hair, I put my hand on the side of her neck before giving her a reassuring smile. Before I could get a single word out, her hand grabs my wrist, stopping me. She shakes her head. "Don''t." she simply says. "I...I don''t want it gone." The group gives her a shocked look, but we get distracted by the car lifting. I clutch to the seats as the ground disappeared beneath us. A sudden tense feeling brought all of us to silence. "knock, knock...Guess who?" Chapter Twenty Two I held onto Savanna tightly, afraid to let go of her. The low chuckle of the devil rang through the the air like chiming bells. I could feel Savanna''s body tremble out of the fear that penetrated her body. I look at the guys as the car dives toward the solid earth below. The impact brought a sharp pain throughout my body, causing my grip to release. I felt Savanna''s weight shift before her cries broke the eerie silence. The game was coming to an end. "I wanna go home," she chanted, "I don''t want this life." But I knew she didn''t have a choice. It was a life chosen for her way before she was born. A destiny that was meant to change the course of history. She was going to die either way. Peering out of the beat down and broken vehicle, I could see the fog getting thicker. The sun had gone down and the now peering moon hovered above. This was it. The night I had to choose. kill, or be Killed. Prying the door open, I hurried out. The cold air hit my face. ''what are you doing?'' the voice questioned in my head. It made me stop abruptly and glance at the fallen angel that was now weeping. I felt the urge to do it. To put her out of her misery and admit everything. I wanted to help her, but that''s when the whole plan came to mind. The redemption. The savoring taste of satisfaction that I completed what I had to do. That''s when the voice of my mother came to mind. The heart stopping moment when I realized I had made a mistake. flashback ''Don''t worry, baby." she said as I watched her with big wondering eyes. "someday, you will do great things." Her warm touch came in contact with my face, leaving tears in my eyes. I had only seconds to react and save her, and even then, I had no idea what I was doing. I was seventeen and desperate to not be alone. Turning to the devil, I had uttered the words that I since regretted. "Take me instead." I knew it was a tempting offer. The devil usually got his way, whether it was following the rules or not. He got his way. He chuckled. "you''ll work for me?" he had questioned as if uncertain that I would follow through. I nod and look him in the eye. The author''s content has been appropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. "anything you want." I say confidently. End of flashback It was the day that I regretted saying those words. I still did, but I pretended that I didn''t care. Whether it was a game or not, I was sick of participating. Grabbing Savanna''s arm and pulled her along the road. Tightening my grip, I held onto her with my life and grabbed the one object that held everything. A round, turquoise moonstone. The smooth surface was cold at the touch, not that I knew the difference. Glancing at my friends, I could tell they knew what I was thinking. "you guys ready?" I questioned gazing around. After a few yes'', I begin to rub the stone. It began to glow and vibrate rapidly in my hand. Certain demons can have certain abilities based off of the victims they kill. I had a variety since I was the main killer. Giving Savanna a reassuring smile, I throw the gem on the ground. A bloodcurdling shatter sound echoed through the Halloween air. I could hear the agonizing screams of the previous victims as the object dissolved. A wave of energy formed around us, creating an unbearable pain surge through our bodies, before sending a bright beam of light into the pitch black sky. I felt my energy fade as the energy got stronger and the light got brighter. "What''s going on?" Savanna asked looking at us. I touch her face, feeling a single tear slip from my eye. "Yoongi?" Her grip tightened and her voice cracked as if trying not to cry. Desperation and fear hit her face. "Savanna..." I say feeling my life slip through my fingers. "Don''t cry. Not over me. Not after all I put you through." I run my fingers down her neck, taking the mark off of her neck. Her wings slowly fade back to white and her dark eyes turned back to their hazel look. My marking, my property was gone. She shakes her head, not wanting to believe it; not wanting to let go. She grabbed onto my arm tighter and came closer to me. We were inches apart, and my heart began to pound in my chest at an unreasonable rate. "I love you, Yoongi..." she whispers loud enough for me to hear. "you can''t leave me." I shake my head and pull away. "It''s going to be over," I say trying to comfort her. "the pain will go away." I look to see my friends nodding before their souls disappeared into the sky. I glance at Savanna one last time before pulling her into a kiss. Not a fake one. A real one. One with passion, and true feelings. I held onto her as if my life depended on it. She wrapped her arms around my neck, putting her feelings into the kiss. The kiss that told her...I loved her, but I couldn''t have her. Pulling back, I let my body be carried away. I let my soul get dragged into the underworld to the devil. "Yoongi..." was the last thing I heard before the world went black. Part Seven: Savanna Henderson Chapter Twenty-three It was like some horrible dream. I couldn¡¯t make myself move, nor did I want to. All I wanted was rewind time and tell Yoongi earlier that I loved him. I would¡¯ve sacraficed myself in order to protect him...But I didn¡¯t. Now here I stood, on the edge of town, on halloween night, wishing everything happened again. I wished to be marked. I wished to be treatd horribly and I wished for Angelia to return. The pounding in my head slowly vanished as I could still feel Yoongi¡¯s fingers tracing my neck. I run my fingers down my neck and sighed. ¡°Yoongi¡¡± I mumbled lowering my head. I sink to the ground and just let the tears fall. As crazy as I sounded, I wanted my life to be in danger. I wanted the voices again, taunting me. My body had gotten used to the horrid treatements that if felt like a drug. It overtook my body like a parasite and drug me into the darkest abyss. ¡°Please,¡± I cried, ¡°make the voices return. I want the voices to return!!¡± I clutched my head and tried to focus my energy on the voices, but I didn¡¯t get a response. ¡°You silly,¡± a voice said behind me. ¡°You can¡¯t force the demon¡¯s voice in your head.¡± I turn to see a girl smiling at me. Her red curly hair was in her face as she waved. Her bright white eyes scanned me and then the area. She didn¡¯t have wings like a fallen angel, or fangs like a vampire. I doubted that she was a demon, seeing how she didn¡¯t have blood red eyes or didn¡¯t have the demon mark. I sigh. ¡°I miss them.¡± I mumble without thinking. She nods. ¡°I get that.¡± she answers. ¡°Avery.¡± I shake her hand and look at the shards of moonstone that yoongi had created. The last remains of his existance. ¡°You love him.¡± Avery says catching me off guard. I nod and look at her. Pain was tearing at my soul and it hurt to even think I had to go back to my normal life. The counsel would surly take away my memory of all that happened if I went and saw them, which I made it a goal that I wouldn¡¯t. If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. Avery scanned my face before putting out a hand. I glance at it before taking it. What would happen? I was in love with a bloody demon, there was nothing else that could harm me. She led me to the house I stayed at with the seven creatures. The memories rang like large bells on christmas morning. ¡°They aren¡¯t dead,¡± Avery says. I glance around at the destroyed architecture. It was like history had made it¡¯s mark showing the world what happens when you let a demon influenze what you do. ¡°I don¡¯t want to believe that they aren¡¯t,¡± I state not turning to Avery. ¡°After what I saw, I wouldn¡¯t be surprised if they were.¡± My exterior had grown cold at the thought of the responsibility that I held with the death of my friends. ¡°But they aren¡¯t!¡± Avery says shaking me. ¡°They only created a barrier. To protect you.¡± I push her away as everything flashes red. I grab my head as the voices started up again. Except this time, they weren¡¯t taunting. They were comforting and pleading. It hurt from what I was used to. ¡°Shut up!¡± I scream having my voice echo throughout the building. Avery backs up as I pace. ¡°There¡¯s only one thing to do.¡± I grab a piece of glass and hold it to the moon that was now setting. Avery shakes her head. ¡°Savanna, don¡¯t.¡± She says slowly. I shake my head. ¡°Why!?¡± I scream, feeling the exhaustion of the previous events hit me. ¡°There¡¯s nothing left for me here! All my friends are dead! Yoongi gave up his life for me and now¡.¡± I look at the glass that shined brightly. Avery tried to step forward but I backed up when she tried to get close. ¡°Savanna-¡± ¡°Don¡¯t.¡± I snap. ¡°You have no idea how much pain is going through my body right now. You have no idea how much my heart is aching at the thought of never seeing the one person that showed me my true pontential.¡± She shook her head. ¡°But I do. I get that your body is overwhelmed by all these emotions and that these dark thoughts are running through your head, and that they seem so soothing, but they aren¡¯t!¡± She explained trying to calm me down. ¡°They aren¡¯t going to help you.¡± I scoff. ¡°They are going to only cause more sorrow than there already was.¡± I back up and shake my head, tears streaming down my face. ¡°No. Yoongi gave up his life for me¡¡± I hold the mirror to my neck. ¡°And now...it¡¯s my turn.¡± Chapter Twenty-Four The cut was quick and clean. I just felt a sting before I felt the air leave my body. I collapsed as I felt the warm liquid leak down my neck. The outside world was fading quickly; more quickly than I expected. I look at Avery before smiling slightly. She hurried to me, but by then half of my life was gone. I saw the colors clash together and my blood leave my body. I release on last breath before letting my body be consumed. The last thing I heard was Avery calling my name over and over again before I completely black out. *** When I wake up, I notice a bandage around my neck. I notice a different room. A white room. I laid on a small bed that I was chained to. I pull on it, terrified and scared. I scream and scream until my voice couldn¡¯t give anymore. I cry and sink to the floor. I didn¡¯t want to live anymore. I didnt¡¯ want to be here, alone and terrified. ¡°Good, you¡¯re up.¡± a deep voice says in front of me. I peek from my hair to see a tall guy with dark hair standing in front of me. He had bright blue eyes and wore a white lab coat. I glare as I yank on the chains. ¡°What did you do!?¡± I scream. ¡°Why didn¡¯t you let me die!? Why did you save me!?¡± I felt my air enter my lungs, hurting my neck. The guy walks over and yanks back on the chains. I yelp as I fall to the ground. I didn¡¯t have the strength to fight anymore. I was too exhaustd to go on. ¡°Stay calm, Savanna. Your body is under a lot of pressure.¡± He said trying to make his voice soothing. It wasn¡¯t. It was harsh and dry against my ears. ¡°The demon has had too much of an influenze on you. I¡¯m here to help you.¡± I shake my head as my blond hair falls infront of my face. ¡°I don¡¯t want your help. I want yoongi.¡± I state. ¡°But I can¡¯t. He¡¯s dead. So good luck trying to help me. I won¡¯t let you.¡± I turn away and felt the cold wind on my face. His tone, his voice was vanishing quickly from my mind, but I forcd myself to hold onto it. The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement. The guy sighed and pulled a chair in front of me. He took a seat before extending a hand. I ignore it and keep staring out the window. How I wished that I was the one gone. ¡°I¡¯ve seen others in your position,¡± he said. ¡°You¡¯re actually the first that went through with killing yourself.¡± my gaze shifts to him as he sets the paperclip on the table. ¡°Good thing Avery was there.¡± I yank on the chains and finally break down. ¡°I wanted to join Yoongi!¡± I scream. ¡°I wanted to show him that I was willing to follow him.¡± The dude nodded. ¡°Who are you?¡± I finally ask glaring. ¡°Name¡¯s Jooheon,¡± he answers. ¡°I¡¯m an angel.¡± My head snaps up at the mention of his identity. ¡°The counsel sent me.¡± I clench my fists before glaring. The area went bright red and my head began to throb with pain. I ignore it and hold the gaze with Jooheon. He doesn¡¯t budge. His dark eyes seemed to calm me down just enough for him to keep talking. ¡°The counsel wanted to see if there was another way to free you from the grasp without taking your memory.¡± he explains inching closer. ¡°I said I¡¯d do.¡± I lower my head and felt my heart slowly stitch itself back up. ¡°I don¡¯t think I can do it,¡± I say glancing up. Jooheon smiles a little before touching my face. ¡°Do you want to?¡± He asks making me ponder. Did I want to? Was I ready to move on from all the dark and torture? I take a breath and nod. ¡°Yes.¡± I answer honestly. He takes the clipboard and takes his hand off of my face. I felt heat rush to my cheeks as I look at him stand up. ¡°See? You¡¯re already improving.¡± He says before exiting the room. I bit my lip before sighing and letting the pain and sorrow hit me again. As much as I wanted to escape, I wasn¡¯t sure if I would be able to. Not after the big impact Yoongi had on me. As much as I hated to admit it¡ I fell in love with a demon. chapter Twenty Five The voices kept coming. The stronger the urge I had, the louder the voices became. It didn¡¯t startle me though. I had gotten used to such loud screamings that if it went quiet was when I started worrying. Jooheon was set on helping me. He was certian that I¡¯d change. I made him believe it. I didn¡¯t want to remain in Limbo any longer. ------- ¡°How do you feel?¡± Jooheon asked waltzing in one afternoon, or at least I thought it was afternoon. Being in Limbo kinda messed up the times. ¡°Fine.¡± I say monotoned. He nods and sets down the tools before taking a seat in front of me. The chains were still around my arms, but I could see the keys around Jooheon. Today would be the day I¡¯d finally be released from this place. This...enviroment that drained me off all my sanity. ¡°Sleep well?¡± He asked staring at me intently. I felt the inner me grimace in disgust. I kept a straight face. This tale has been unlawfully lifted without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. ¡°Are you here to interrogate me or help me?¡± I snap suddenly. The sudden urge to be incredibly rude was getting stronger and honestly, I could care less. Jooheon chuckled, amused by my fiesty attitude. ¡°Both.¡± he smirks. I glance down and wrapped my scrapped fingers around the chains to prevent me from lunging on him and killing him. ¡°You can¡¯t keep doing this,¡± he says, ¡°you need to let go.¡± Ignore him, Savanna. I think. Ignore him. I close my eyes and try to picture what calmed me down. Yoongi¡¯s calm, cold eyes. His cold attitude that kept me on my toes. ¡°Savanna?¡± He says quietly touching my arm. I twist my arm out of his grasp and twist his arm in an irregular way. He groans in pain as my grip tightens. ¡°Dont. touch. Me.¡± I say sternly before shoving him to the wall. I yank on the chains before finally prying them from their rusty walls. I pant as the fear consumed me and led me to be stronger. I peer out the window and immediately see the portal to the real world. ¡°I¡¯m trying to help you!¡± jooheon says trying to stop me. I laugh and give him a cold glare that made him stagger back. ¡°I don¡¯t want your pathetic help! I want YOONGI!¡± with that I left. Left the safetly of heaven and the counsel. I was on my own.
