《Into the Secret of Tirlus》 Prologue: Walking into Hell There is a time in everyone¡¯s life that they want to give up, and just kill themselves, well this is my time. My name is John Anders one of the age of 26, nothing special about me, I had just came out of the gym from a work out though I don¡¯t know any type of martial arts. Keeping my body fit is something I do; I can probably fight pretty decently since fighting dirty is the best way to survive in an actual fight. Some may say it¡¯s best to call the police? But what good would they do in this small town, just a small fine and they¡¯ll let the guy or guys go free. As I was thinking I came across my own mother she seems thoughtful for some odd reason and sad. ¡°What happened? Are you okay?¡± ¡°Oh¡­ John¡­ I just had a fight with Bob again¡­¡± mother ¡°¡­¡± sighing and walking off but not before I said, ¡°You¡¯ll need to get away from him eventually¡­ or you¡¯ll regret it and it¡¯ll be too late¡± I hate talking more than anything, but sometimes words are very well needed¡­ Especially with my family all I have left are my mother, brother, sister, and aunt. You may think that it isn¡¯t a bad to have this left, but you must know my father was killed by his own brother simply over money nothing more nothing less. I really have no friends left cause of my family, you may think the police would do something, but again they won¡¯t do anything do to my family having most of them in their pockets. A small town like this really won¡¯t have much to hide on the surface it looks like a retirement town, but deep below it is worse than most cities. ¡°Oh, John come here!¡±??? ¡°Who are you¡­?¡± ¡°Just your worst nightmare!¡±??? Keeping my poker face up which is pretty neutral and blank I backed off slowly, before breaking out in a sprint towards my car since these guys are probably hired by a family member, I say guys cause there are at least five others hiding around that one waiting for a moment to get in. They seemed to be ready for this and attacked from a hiding spot by my car getting hit in the gut really sucks, but the guy was on the floor do to my punch to his private area. I was able to get into my car driving off, looking to see if my mother was still where she was, which she was getting into her car driving off which is good in a sense¡­ Stuff like this has been happening every since my father died, since I am the oldest I was able to get all his money he had worked for, was able to pay off the house, and all the bills¡­. Been doing this for a long time before I even got the money since my family really¡­ never helped my mother didn¡¯t , my brother had a government check which was okay in some sense it helped but it helped him more since most the money he used went on food which he ate most of it. My sister moved out unable to deal with the family anymore, my aunt, she just left she was disabled couldn¡¯t lift her arms above her head, even had issues walking but she left the first chance she could get after my father died. Getting home was a long drive, since I live in the middle of nowhere, I decided to get on my computer and play my game that I had put tons of modifications on. I had played tons of games, most online, but this one let me pretty much mod the character however I wanted as long as I had the skills to build the modifications, I put together all the best parts of the games I loved the most their classes, skills, jobs, and even races. Making my own unique race Celrisu which is a race of divine power, and the weirdest part is it all came to me in a dream. The race itself is nothing special it is able to change its race to any known races that it had a blessing for or had been acknowledged by something of the race akin to gods or divine. It came from an Ancient Vampire and an Ancient Angel. You may say it is impossible, but nothing is impossible, the race itself doesn¡¯t have any unique skills other then these two, during any race change the Vampire and Angel sides abilities can still be used, though not as effectively, this also means you need to drink blood every so often or you¡¯ll become very weak. While the Angel side really doesn¡¯t have much for weaknesses the emotions of it are harder to control since you can have guessed it a fallen angel. An Angel that has normally no emotions at all since their only soldiers meant to be the swords of gods that have created them. A Fallen Angel on the other hand gains emotions, not as strong as humans or other races that depend on it, but they¡¯ll have a strong tendency to going berserk. But with the skills you gain such as Calm Mind comes in handy since it makes the emotional imbalance lower. Another thing is I only ever made the female side of this race¡­ because I really didn¡¯t care to look at males. I had always loved spiritual abilities such as Qi to grow stronger by cultivating is always interesting, but this being a game cultivating in it is like resting you have to put it on a timer and let it do so, which is why I am checking my game right now since I had set it to do so while I went to work and then the gym after so it¡¯s been on pretty much for twelve in real life time which would estimate to one hundred and twenty years. Which in the game was an already developed skill inside it she just let her own race become able to use it. It starts from different stages and ranks each stage has ten ranks at the start and slowly lowering as you go on. Not that it really makes much of a difference in game since without it your just unable to go do set quests in towns, cities, capitals, and even sects or guilds. The ranks start at the body tempering stage starting with Novice, Warrior, Knight, General, King, Emperor, Sage, Supreme, Saint, and Heavenly stage. The Novice stage is as known as making your body strengthening to be able to hold the Qi in it, thus depending on what is in your character like drinking dragon¡¯s blood, and other skills will change this quite a lot.Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. Each stage is not what most stories have in cultivating novels, but it¡¯s more or less how the sociality in this game worked? As it states the stage names really have rather no meaning since it all is around powering one¡¯s body stupidly strong. Since my character is of the Divine race I had the ability to go straight to Knight rank with rather ease, hell even General wasn¡¯t hard, but it took over an extra one thousand years of hard work to even get to the King stage which is the first part of even getting the elemental tempered body, and only then can I even use Dragons blood in the body which gives me quicker and easier way to use mana¡­ Yes this game mana was locked to you reached King Stage, but being Divine, I already have access to the holy and light arts, but with the vampire side I also got the dark and death arts. Every character is given time and space arts. The dragon blood is something that allows one to use the other elements and is needed to fit in the classes from my games I had made strong modifications for. I spent a few hours fighting and raging at the game too I was finally able to beat the dragon to take its blood and drink it. Giving me the ability to use magic from all the elements¡­ but before I could even try out any magic me had a knock on my door. Arming myself with a loaded pistol before I open the door slightly to see a woman with two men behind her seemingly in suits and probably government officials. ¡°Yes..?¡± ¡°Is John Anders here? We have a deal he can¡¯t refuse.¡± Woman ¡°You¡¯re speaking to him¡± ¡°Well we have a deal that¡¯ll be the chance of a life time if you¡¯ll take the time to look at it¡± so she said while handing me what looks like an agreement form. From what it says if I wish to know everything I¡¯ll have to sign an non-disclosure agreement, but from the looks of this it¡¯s an experiment on how a male can change to a female¡­. Probably guessing by my blank face the whole time she thinks I think they¡¯re a scam artist so she opens to say more. ¡°If you sign the disclosure agreement we can tell you more¡­ but from this is not a scam we know that you have had a hard time and this can be used to make sure your family doesn¡¯t have to suffer anymore¡± she had said I sighed, even if this is a scam I¡¯ll be able to waste some time, not like I am having to pay them anything so I took a pin out of my pants pocket and signed the agreement on the front and back page. ¡°I agree¡­¡± ¡°Good come with us¡­ our boss would love to get this over with!¡± she said kind of cheerfully. It took about ten hours getting there to such an government base out in the middle of even more nowhere land, but it doesn¡¯t matter all that much to me do to the fact I¡¯ll already be ready for anything the worst thing that can happen is I¡¯ll die, but I will also make sure to take a few with me¡­ though they took my weapon once I agreed. When I walked into the facility they took me to another room where I didn¡¯t know what to expect, but one thing is for sure there was a young girl in the tub with blue gel floating around her with the usual medical breathing equipment long with muscle tension to make sure her muscles stay in fit shape well as much as possible. She had long silver hair down to her thighs, seemingly pretty fit for the child; the body itself didn¡¯t have much fat quit like an expert in exercise like myself. Though she does seem to look quite frail for her age, her chest is also quite modest but not too small to call them flat, but you can tell her body is starting to curve up and that she¡¯ll be really beautiful in the future, and her body itself is pretty much perfect without any flaws other then the fact she looked like she was starved a lot and her growth was slowed but is on the start of recovery. If one thing I had to say I hated is the fact she¡¯s in a pink color medical gown with glowing lines that is like neon lights in my eyes which is very frustrating. Though it made me think why do they have children here for experiments as well? Is this really a legal business? ¡°That child isn¡¯t a normal child, we had found a quite the find when the asteroid hit south of Mexico, we found DNA in it which was able to form a body similar to this, but only was able to make female bodies, nor does it ever gain a mind of its own it¡¯s more of a mindless clone without any other use¡­ and the fact if we don¡¯t find a compatible host mind to put in her she will die like many others, and the host mind if not compatible will also die.¡± She had explained it in the easiest way I could think she could without saying everything she didn¡¯t need too. Well I guess this will be my new body? Not that bad looking, a little too young for me, but 26 years of life as a male to a female that is no better than a child? If this is true¡­ or even successful, hard to take in, but according to what I was told earlier my family wouldn¡¯t need to worry anymore and their lives would be quite safe. ¡°Well Strip all your clothes off even the underwear¡± she said ¡°¡­.¡± I gave her a look like she¡¯s a pervert and backed off slightly ¡°Mr. Anders¡­ You can¡¯t expect us to start the process with your clothes on, it would hinder it and even most cases make higher failure rate. And there is no need for medical tests since we know all of your medical history, unless you want to die without the highest chance of success?¡± she said with a smug look. She then handed me a gown similar to what the girl is wearing and told me to go change in the door off to the side. A bit confused and lost I decided to do just that and walked into the room which is standard for hospital rooms all white and a tile floor with what I think to be a hospital bed, while taking off my clothes I can¡¯t help but think about what they meant about host mind I am pretty sure that is some sort of brain transplant? If so¡­ all the stuff I been through¡­ beaten and tortured just to keep what little family I had together I took the blunt of it with my father and when he passed away I took all of it, sometimes it¡¯s just too much to take¡­ probably why I took this hoping I¡¯d get away from it all. The gown makes my skin tingle a bit, even walking feels like hardened leather made to hinder movements like straps on a hospital bed but it is do able with effort. When walking back into the room the same lady there looks at me like I am disgusting to look at, and probably hates the way I look. I got to admit even with a fit body I am quite the ugly guy¡­ ¡°Get into the tub¡­ so we can start the process.¡± Not letting me finish my self-loathing she orders me to do it, well since if this is legit my family would be safe¡­ even if I can never see them again. She then got to work plugging me in to the medical machines and iv¡¯s as well as the oxygen mask, what you¡¯d expect, but what was quite annoying is there was nowhere in the papers I read stating how painful this process actually is, it¡¯s like worse than you can even imagine it felt like your body is being melted slowly like they are dripping lava on you only from the inside instead of the outside. And somehow I couldn¡¯t pass out like something is keeping me from doing so but it is also hard to move or even open my mouth¡­ As I was in pain I looked over in the corner of my eye to see the girl beside me seemingly going though the same painful experience as myself, and suddenly the pain stopped and feeling relief¡­ and being unable to stay awake any longer¡­. The last thing I remembered was looking at the lady laughing evilly like an evil mad scientist to the point she fell over on the floor¡­ so unprofessional¡­. Chapter One: Getting Used to Being Female After waking up I found myself still in the pink gown in a room that seems similar to the one I used to change into that other gown. Looking around there really isn¡¯t much special in the room other then my body is that of a female, and quite young at that. This is quite unheard of by most people outside of the otaku style of life would never really expect it to happen but it is still somehow cool and interesting to me¡­ was never attached to being male to begin with, not that I was gay or anything just didn¡¯t hold too much to genders. This probably is the best example of running away from my old life; though it feels cowardly they at least won¡¯t have to worry anymore due to the promise in the agreement if it can be hold with any bits of truth. ¡°How do you feel Jona? Any discomforts?¡±??? The mad lady from before is standing before me, now that I got a good look at her she had long straight black hair which complements the long white lab coat, and uniform underneath it¡­. the thing you¡¯d not like or feel that she¡¯s trouble is her slanted villain like eyes, but the eyes themselves are enough to draw you in since it¡¯s rare to see one being with two different color eyes from where I was raised, one being silver while the other being aqua blue. But as she said my original name changed¡­ from the guys name to something more girly? ¡°Stuffy¡­¡± I wonder if she¡¯s going to cut me up like in thoughts government science movies. ¡°You haven¡¯t talked much since you got here¡­.¡± Lady ¡°Why¡­ would I... when I don¡¯t even know you¡­¡± Seriously why would I talk like some social idiot to strangers? It¡¯s not the safest idea to do so, but I guess I should be more friendly since they got me when I was pretty much down on my luck not knowing if I could find another job since the computer selling and building wasn¡¯t going well, and I didn¡¯t want to waste all the money I got from my father for nothing. ¡°Your body is that of a thirteen year old girl now, you need to come through all sorts of training programs we got set for you. This will end up taking a few months to even a year depending on how fast or slow you learn them, and you don¡¯t need to know me or my name, since it is against policy in case of information leak the less you know the better off you are.¡± She said with a smile ¡°Training?¡± I didn¡¯t really have much to say other then the fact it seems the change wasn¡¯t the only thing that I had to do, and can¡¯t really trust the government more then I can throw them¡­ and I doubt this body can throw much. ¡°What is that look for?¡± she said with a sigh, ¡°you have no need to worry about training just yet, it would be in bad manners to throw you straight into it without letting you get use to the female body.¡± As she was saying that she pressed the button on a door in the room came out with simple female tight pants and a black T-shirt and panties and a sports bra. But before I could even say anything she started helping me undress and then dressed me in the clothes she took out¡­ not that I could do anything just yet the body feels quite fragile and weak, probably do to the lack of exercise even with the machines keeping the muscles in shape. Luckily the embarrassment didn¡¯t show on my face do to all the practice of hiding my emotions and facial expressions, but I couldn¡¯t help but twitch as she took the clothes out for me to wear. ¡°Even though your¡­ not very talkative at least¡­.¡± She mumbles the rest I am unable to hear but I can tell by the disappointment on her face I must have dodged a bullet somehow or another. ¡°Anyhow¡­ let¡¯s get you use to walking so follow me the best of your ability¡± she had said without even looking back as she walked out the door Leaving me with only one choice and that is to walk out after her¡­ though it is hard to walk I have to hold onto the side of the wall and even my steps were unbalanced and I even fell quite often on the way¡­ but she didn¡¯t even seem to help or stop, but she did slow down enough for me to catch up. After about two hours of walking around I finally got use to the body and was able to walk without much of a problem, probably do to the body being stable and not mistreated much. ¡°You will stay here, and learn all sorts of advanced subjects and how to be female and Amanda over there will be the one to help you with this.¡± She pointed to the girl that had the attendant like big sister type air around her; maybe she is some sort of nurse or maid, since she is also dressed like one? But why pink¡­The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation. ¡°You must be hungry; it¡¯s already morning come sit with me¡± Amanda As she was talking the crazy lady that was with me before happened to have walked out, so the only thing to do now is to agree since I am hungry¡­ and it looks like bacon, eggs, toast, pancakes, and even your choice of drink like milk or orange juice¡­ but still not something I¡¯d want.. at the moment¡­ ¡°Coffee¡­¡± ¡°You want coffee?¡± Amanda ¡°Yes¡­ please?¡± ¡°Alright give me just one moment to get it.¡± Amanda She seems to be nice, but best not to anger her, since this place is heavily guarded, even if I can¡¯t see them I feel they¡¯ll jump right in if something goes wrong, as she gone and got the coffee and brought it back I had already pretty much ate what was put in front of me¡­ this body can sure eat¡­ luckily I did have a lot of manners and training growing up being around a lot of rich people does that¡­ in order to get a good image on them that your professional. But as she came back she gave me a disappointed look, not because of my manners in fact she was happy I didn¡¯t make a mess like a slob. ¡°Here you go, your coffee do you need any sugar?¡± Amanda Shaking my head no since coffee is just for the habit I had doing after eating I picked it up with my father. ¡°You are really like they said you we¡¯re huh?¡± Amanda ¡°¡­?¡± tilting my head in confusion. ¡°You rarely talk, you seem well behaved, and just like a doll with little to no personality, to be honest I never expected you to have manners of a proper lady, and eat messily like most poor people, not that I say their all pigs, but not many are well behaved and proper like you¡¯d find in nobility¡­ But now that I see your more behaved then I would of thought, I would love to work with you during your stay, like she said earlier my name is Amanda and will be your personal supervisor while you¡¯re here, and get you use to all the needs of a female body¡± Amanda Really now¡­ I have no idea how females eat and act proper I am just copying what I seen on animes and such, since it really isn¡¯t hard to do so since I already know must basic manners and read how getting use to the female body mostly goes into manners¡­. Since I was always rather good at acting the part in order to get most jobs I had. As for the doll part... well it¡¯s best to show as little as possible to people you know nothing about. ¡°¡­Thanks?¡± I really have no idea how to react it¡¯s like she¡¯s some rich girl that lived in the world with a silver spoon in her mouth, but from what she said she is above me meaning she will probably be the one making the training layouts. ¡°Well it¡¯s time for you to take a bath, and probably get use to how to such things¡± Amanda said a little too happy. She took my hand and lead me to a large open bath and helped me take my clothes off while still slightly confused at this she even shown me all sorts of spots one should wash and be careful for like one would a child first doing it on their own for the first time, and even shown me how to use the restroom though I keep a pretty blank face the whole time¡­ it¡¯s something I would rather not tell others since it¡¯s rather¡­ unusual since I was a male before. She even went as far as to show me how to do my own hair and style it and stressed it is something that should be well taken care of. The worst of it all is the clothes she expected me to wear¡­ the other clothes I had wasn¡¯t that dirty¡­ but they are even more girly tight pants that even had straps around the thighs making it rather fitting and quite easy to move in probably can use the straps as knife holders in the future, as well as the sports bra is a bit more girly¡­ and pink¡­ the pants are at least normal¡­ but the shirt is also pink¡­ God¡­ how much I hate pink¡­ it is like the worst color ever¡­ seemingly the worst color¡­ yes I had to repeat myself. Then she led me to another room with another woman sitting there with books of different subjects starting with math and ending with rocket science¡­ yes¡­ I didn¡¯t expect them to want me to know all of it¡­ But the way she taught me or how this body is I have no clue I was able to pick up most of them rather fast though it only took a few months to learn all of what she wanted me to know¡­ in fact I could now be one of the leading scientist.. in the world though I am never going to admit being smart¡­ like that it is just too much work, and another thing I seem to realize everything I learned doesn¡¯t seem that hard just reading or seeing it once I can remember it without any trouble. The worst part is how a woman would move and fight¡­ though she said it is just basics before the actual training. This alone is what took me more than a month to get down since they expected me to walk perfectly¡­ as to make my stance or defense¡­ that they taught me saying it¡¯s only basic martial arts able to be able to slightly defend myself¡­ But I suspect it is more or less just a way for them to girly me up more since walking like this seems more girly too me, but I noticed I was able to walk faster and have less waste of stamina when I did so¡­ they made me practice it to the point I was able to do it on pure muscle memory¡­ and the fact of it is even running is the same¡­ to the fact they even forced me to polish up on basic manners¡­ If I had to say anything it would remind me of a royal princess in stories or movies I seen I had to get it down as well¡­ and after I finally got use to that even bathing and using the bathroom alone¡­ was slowly getting more normal for me since I have to do it daily. What doesn¡¯t get me is the fact Amanda keeps making me wear pink or girly things. Not that I don¡¯t understand her taste¡­ and her wanting me to get use to being female¡­ the fact that I rather have some more private time¡­ The fact I have explored this body quite a bit in the bath¡­ once I was able to do so alone, and I can say one thing its way more than I expected. Well according to them tomorrow is when I start¡­ the real combat training¡­ well let¡¯s just hope it¡¯s not something super¡­ hard¡­ That was the last thing I was thinking about as I fell asleep on the pillow. Chapter Two: Hellish Training Starting Being shaken pretty violently I as I was dreaming of finishing my master piece on my game making a system that let me reset my level after a set point you can master out a class then go through the trial of rebirth, making the class skills become your own, though you no longer have the class¡­ nor the bonuses having the class would give¡­. Similarly to having Warrior classes¡­ you would get bonuses to swords or other weaponry long with brute power¡­. But after rebirth you¡¯d only have all the skills you learned as your own¡­. I think the only ones I haven¡¯t added to my own was three classes Kunoichi, hunter, and a unique class called challenger, it is odd¡­ but reality it¡¯s another version of a samurai but more toned towards vows and paths of power then magic or swords. Hints why I only got to King¡­ Challenger would only level when your spirit was stronger. ¡°Jona come on! Wake up or you won¡¯t get to eat anything before you have to go to train!¡± Amanda said shaking me pretty violently. ¡°¡­¡± opening my eyes all I can do is blankly stare at all the pink she has on. ¡°Come and eat so you¡¯re not completely without anything before you train¡­ though you¡¯ll have to eat lightly¡± Amanda I could only nod while eating some toast and jam while she is setting out different¡­ pink outfits on the bed¡­ I picked the less¡­ frilly and girly one I can find which still ended up with shorts with multiple belt add-ons though their all fake¡­ and a tank top¡­ though I hate pink¡­ I have no choice in the matter¡­ As I was getting dressed the lady from before walked in and seemed pleased I was ready already and told me to follow her before walking out the door. She was never one I could figure out or get use too¡­ other then she seems the type that likes to dress up people and torture them like making them wear things they¡¯d usually not wear¡­ like Amanda and pink. I had noticed over the months that this body seems too perfect for me¡­ unlike my old body I don¡¯t feel any stiff movements when I walk around it¡¯s like my old body was just the wrong body the whole time while I think the body is too good for me¡­ and the fact it¡¯s female but I assume that this body had gone through a lot of experiments to the point it would make the horror movies I seen children stories¡­ as I was thinking about this without paying much attention I ended up walking into the lady in front of me which surprised me cause I ended up falling backwards instead of her moving at all like I had hit a brick wall and was pushed away before I could get hurt¡­ ¡°Watch where you¡¯re going, wouldn¡¯t want you to get hurt now would we¡± she practically had a small smile on her face, but her eyes weren¡¯t smiling at all¡­ scary¡­ ¡°Anyhow we are here get in¡± she is keeping her smile and trying to be nice but after that vision of her laughing like a mad scientist I got a feeling this is going to be a rough life. The room was not that amazing just like a classical gym with all sorts of weapons for melee, like I would need to use a sword¡­. Or the rest of these weapons but something tells me I will have to learn how to use at least most of them cause the middle aged man in the middle of the room is like an embodiment of an old samurai type that ¡®the way of the sword¡¯ is the only way to live. The only thing I can tell about him is he is currently brooding over the fact he is here¡­ but all the machines here¡­ tells me that if my training isn¡¯t going to be basic it will be like super weird to figure out that most of them are really expensive and not even on the market yet¡­ ¡°You got to be freaking kidding me?¡± he seemed seriously surprised that the one he¡¯d be training is a little kid or is the fact it¡¯s a girl? ¡®Well¡­ I am still a man on the inside¡­¡¯ ¡°You really have a way with words¡­ Jeff¡± The lady had a stiff smile like she is looking at something disgusting¡­. Now that I think about it didn¡¯t she look that way at all the males here? Well she doesn¡¯t look that way at me anymore but she still seems stiff¡­ like she¡¯s trying to hold herself back from something I really hope she isn¡¯t one of thoughts germ phobic people on top of being a man hater. And the fact she seems to not like this guy is pretty much obvious since she seems to try to be nice but her voice also seems to fall flat¡­ ¡°You said, I would be training a talented kid! Nothing about a whelp of a girl that looks like she should still be beside her mommy!¡± he yelled He is probably the type of guy that thinks women should be protected and so on¡­ not meant for fighting. Looking up at them since my eyes are the only thing I don¡¯t know what they look like since they were shot. And there weren¡¯t any mirrors around¡­ strange even the bathroom didn¡¯t have them¡­ ¡°N-no, not your eyes¡­¡± She stuttered and looked away. ¡°Then why Miss Scientist! This girl doesn¡¯t look scary in any means at all.¡± Jeff ¡°It¡¯s because she doesn¡¯t look like the rest¡­. And the youngest looking since most look around the age of 18 years old¡± Lady I am not sure I get what they mean but since I look like a child they didn¡¯t want to train me? Isn¡¯t that¡­ against their job to go against the boss? But I guess it¡¯s fine since their boss is nice and let¡¯s them decline¡­ but she refuses to let this Jeff fellow decline¡­ probably a man hater¡­ but I am starting to wonder if even Amanda or Jeff is their real name¡­ ¡°Anyhow¡­ Jeff do your job you haven¡¯t had a single trainee since we hired you¡± she said then left. I couldn¡¯t help but sigh at this¡­ leaving me alone with this guy that seems to hate to teach¡­ I mean since he hasn¡¯t trained a single person since he was hired¡­. Then why hire him? The man named Jeff sighed as well but it was more like he really didn¡¯t think she¡¯d just leave the troublesome matters to him then looked at me. ¡°You know my training will be hell on earth, but when I am done with you, you¡¯ll be a monster beyond monsters.¡± Jeff I just shivered at the way he was looking at the moment I just had a feeling my easy life of an otaku and gym junky just ended and I was in the pits of hell just by looking around the room at all the different weapons and then back at him but the next thing I knew he was in front of me with boxing gloves on and hitting my stomach sending me bending over in pain but that wasn¡¯t the end of it he seemed to knee my stomach right after knocking me to the ground after throwing me into the air from the knee attack then letting me slam straight into the ground¡­ ¡°GET UP!¡± he shouted Then came and lifted me up by my hair, god it hurt like hell, leaving me nothing but to glare at him my emotionless mask broken cause of this treatment I felt like I wanted to cry. ¡°Good, hate me. It makes it all the easier to learn if you can¡¯t... well you will become my punching bag for the next year. Since I have a lot to cram in you.¡± Jeff said with a sadistic smile Then he started by throwing me against the wall and getting in a stance and motioning for me to attack him¡­ since I knew a little bit about how to fight¡­ though not martial arts I decided to take my frustration on him for treating me so badly without teaching me any basics at the start¡­. I threw a punch to his gut while trying to see if I can do anything to him, but he seemed to only counter with a punch to my face sending me stumbling backwards. ¡°You missy has to do better than that¡­ come on! I heard you were taught basic foot work by Amanda at least try!¡± Jeff tends to shout at me more. But he seems to be standing still taunting me to go at him again¡­ so I glared at him before moving in moving and trying to hit him again only this time expecting him to counter by a punch or kick of some kind only to find out he just grabbed my arm while throwing me over him letting me slam back into the ground. Getting back up with nothing but frustration at him not teaching me anything at all I decided to not care about anything else other then hitting him, but by the time I was able to even get a single hit on him he had already bruised me all over and I was even having trouble staying awake¡­ but the last thing I heard was¡­ ¡°That surprised me.¡± Jeff. The next thing I knew was being woken up by Amanda again¡­. She was applying some sort of ointment on me that seemed to stop all the soreness and bandaged me up¡­ which surprised me I expected my body to be a lot more sore¡­ but it feels like I just sleep stiffly¡­ odd¡­ really odd¡­. She then got out more clothes¡­ before I could say anything and started dressing me with easy to move clothes that are fit for exercising in, but still pink¡­ god once this is all over I¡¯ll never touch anything pink again if I can help it¡­ Then she guided me back to where Jeff was, though he still seemed the same annoying brooding demon instructor¡­ but at least this time he seems to have a table with different manual like books on it¡­. ¡°Well stop staring and get over here!¡± Jeff I had no choice¡­ I didn¡¯t want a repeat of yesterday¡­ so I walked over to him quite fast seeing what he had planned for me today¡­ ¡°Since last time I was a little rough with you, your body still needs time to heal, but I have a good grasp of your talent. These are different martial arts books from boxing all the way to Chinese kempo, and your task today is to memories every single book here¡­ it will help you in the future, and there is even training dummies over there to practice on¡± Jeff said while pointing to the dummies¡­ It seems he wants me to learn these¡­ I guess it¡¯s better than just getting the shit beat out of me for no good reason and hope me to learn¡­ but it seems as reading these books are always fun¡­ in fact I was always a fan of reading, whether it was history or even text books I was able to always stay on top of my class cause of this¡­ Though it still took me all day to memorize all the books here, and some of the night alone to practice on the dummies to get the basics down of each book. Even if there are only twelve books here¡­ each of them are pretty thick with descriptions that even are easy to understand do to the basics I was taught by Amanda I was able to get most of them down within one night, though only the basics¡­ my favorite here is Aikido¡­ since I was also able to use the swords here to mess with it was quite fun¡­ I already figured out that tomorrow will be even more hell though¡­. Though the next day he tended to go back to the first day punching me around like a rag doll¡­. Other then that the training and everything else went about the same nothing really different¡­ getting my ass kicked and beat while trying to copy his way of fighting without any real advice other then my back was not straight enough, my feet are in the wrong place¡­ no running training like in the books and animes, just plain out brawls. At least¡­ he let me read the manuals¡­. This went on for a month¡­ Chapter three: Training Intensifies For some reason I woke up today dreading going to the training field¡­ I had a really bad vibe¡­ but I found out why once I got there¡­ I don¡¯t know if it¡¯s the body or me, but after awhile I was able to predict his movements since he never really moved in a complicated pattern and started dodging his moves for a little bit, but with low stamina it was really hard to do anything else and it only lasted to I wasn¡¯t able to move, then out of nowhere he decided to change the plan and make me run laps around the Gym too I dropped. He keep this going for a long period of time all while trying to hit or throw balls and such at me, nothing really hard¡­ he hasn¡¯t hit me bare handed or anything so I know he¡¯s holding back, but every day is like I am walking throw lava and while I disturbed a very angry bee hive, cause it keep stinging all throughout the training and in fact the first month I only was able to dodge one ball but cause of that I ended up face planting right into the wood floor. And it isn¡¯t even the worst part of it¡­ he started acting very nice the moment I walked n the door¡­ ¡°I know you¡¯re probably hungry but today I am going to just teach you about the human body, and its weak points and how to strike hard even with little to no strength of your own.¡± Jeff Then he motioned me to sit in front of him while the books are between us. The books have names such as ¡®Human Anatomy and Physiology¡¯ , ¡®Lab Results and how to know what organ of different animals is healthy or not¡¯ , ¡¯book of pressure points¡¯ and etc, but the most disgusting of it is there is pictures of live animals and people cut open with all their insides displaced with different names and such for everything, not drawings that are in normal books but actual people and animals, it¡¯s lucky I didn¡¯t eat cause I had to puke just looking at them some reason they even have a smell in here¡­ which is odd too I seen behind him at the corpses. This lesson also took about a month since he didn¡¯t like to be nice¡­ after all he was only nice to see my reactions and focus my attention on him instead of the corpses behind him¡­. He enjoyed making me feel all the dirty organs that went cold, and some of the animals were even still warm one even moved and cried cause it was still alive, I feel like I am hating this guy even more now cause of all this animal cruelty I am one that couldn¡¯t care too much about my fellow humans, cause I seen the things on news and such, we ourselves really never care for others outside of our circle, we see strangers as nothing more than that even if they were to die we wouldn¡¯t really care to much, in fact I seen people blow up post about it making it like it¡¯s something super interesting when it is really something sad and disturbing. By the time I was able to finally master all of this stuff, I had a sick feeling that I could never forget what I had learned even if I wanted too every day throughout the month I ended up having the worst nightmares of these people and animals coming back to haunt me and cut me open for revenge. Even if I am not that much of a nice or caring person I still believe every life is one of a kind and deserves respect, not this lesson or disgrace for the dead, hell to me animals should only be killed if you need them for food, or survival other than that you should respectfully let them live their own lives. But one of the nightmares was so bad that I couldn¡¯t wake from it I had a dream of my family, friends, and everyone I ever knew or cared for was in the mix with thoughts people and animals trying to claw their way at me, blaming me for everything with dead eyes, blaming me that I should of protected them, that I should have been more, told them that I could of saved them if I had watched the signs had forced them to seek help, even my family and friends that are still alive are doing the same thing it was so horrible to I felt someone shaking me while talking to me in a soft voice telling everything was okay. But when I opened my eyes no one was there, the room had still been sealed from the outside. ¡®Yes sealed they are keeping me here for ¡°my own protection¡± and had to lock the door.¡¯ No idea who was shaking me but my body itself is still shaking from the nightmare, maybe that¡¯s what was shaking me, but I noticed my face was a bit wet from crying it must have been that bad that I mentally felt someone talking to me that didn¡¯t exist just to escape what I have always blamed myself for. My father¡¯s death, my grandmother¡¯s, my two uncle¡¯s, etc. the list goes on, I¡¯ve since young had some kind of six sense something is going to happen, I can¡¯t exactly say to who, but it usually is someone next to me someone I know. It has always come in the form of cold chills and nightmares similarly to the one I had only on a lesser scale. After some time of getting myself ready and constantly hearing Rose bickering in my head telling me it is fine, since there is two of us now we can have two different people looking at two different expects¡­. The day it was quite harder than before¡­ I mean he instead of throwing stuff at me he made me run through traps and such that if I fell well¡­ let¡¯s say it¡¯ll hurt like hell this keep on for another month or so¡­ to the point I could clearly call myself a ninja¡­ since I was able to dodge and jump and run a little bit on walls to get the way out of the traps. Then the next thing I knew he was throwing different books about all sorts of styles of fighting with weapons Hell it even had books for each type of sword let alone axes and poles and other weapons, and how to properly maintain them even repair them if I had the materials to do so¡­ this took more than a month to read all of them and memorize them¡­ but it only was a month and two weeks¡­ but it wasn¡¯t boring¡­ just stressful cause after learning one book he would then force me to practice with it¡­ just to I got the basics of it¡­ Today was suppose to be more advanced knowledge of it¡­ which I am not too happy about¡­ If it wasn¡¯t for Rose I doubt I¡¯d be sane after this¡­ if I was ever sane to begin with¡­ It was also about three months before I was considered a master of all the weapons there¡­ and this was just the melee ones¡­ The last month of the year he had to train me he decided to throw me into fighting with all swords of throwing weapons like ninja stuff like throwing daggers, shirikins, throwing spikes, blow guns, kunais, and bows. It was not that hard¡­ but it still took a month to get it to a point he was satisfied¡­ But the year was finally over¡­ I think I can relax not having to deal with him anymore¡­ I can understand why women become man haters¡­ Today was the last day, he was going to have one finally fighting with me with all he had¡­ in order to see if I truly passed¡­ We are across from each other staring each other down like the fighters in old movies¡­ but sadly he made the first move not giving me a chance to do anything throwing a punch at me. While I was able to dodge and throw him like he had done too me, he was able to rotate and still land on his feet before doing a spin kick towards me leaving me no choice but to guard sending me a few steps back with sore arms. While I was stumbling a bit he decided to rush me with a fury of punches and kicks only letting me have a chance to defend but no ability to go back on the offensive¡­ or what one would think¡­ since I had been secretly hitting his pressure points. It finally started to show itself as he got slower to the point his body isn¡¯t completely listening to me which was a sign for me to start my own assault on him¡­ Same way as he was hitting me I was hitting him while making sure he isn¡¯t able to touch my pressure points by rotating around him similar to a certain ninja but with less power behind it. This went on for a few hours¡­ using my speed and flexibility against his overall bulky power and form... When I felt I had him he surprised me with a grab with his feet¡­ for some reason instead of falling like I had expected it to be... he fell using his hands and arms as a brace and wrapped his legs around my waist while doing a full flip slamming me into the wood floor unable to get up due to the shock of the impact leaving me quite dizzy¡­ ¡°Hahaha good young lady good!¡± Jeff laughed and shouted this too me¡­ ¡°Ahaha, good you we¡¯re very obedient and learned all the lessons and to be able to defend yourself, now it¡¯s time for you to take all you learned into practice before we toss you into the portal we found. As to what it is we don¡¯t know, everyone we sent in has yet to come back out, and apparently anyone too strong is kicked back out. So we made your knowledge just enough to pass barely for an advanced user of the arts, sadly we can¡¯t supply you with guns or ammo but swords and a durable clothing that is strong enough to resist cuts by a sharp blade or bullets itself. And as to why we can¡¯t give you guns is this portal refuses to let them enter if you have tried you would have lost an arm at the worst, or not allowed entry.¡± The crazy lady appeared While letting me take it all in she has decided that she is waiting for a reply from me like some sort of weapon or soldier trained for war. ¡°¡­. I thought that maybe you went back into the depths of our mind afraid of what could grab you. ¡®well it takes more energy form us if I stay active and you really needed most of it, while I sat back and keep learning most of the books you just looked through cause you found them boring to keep reading over and over again, you do know this stuff is useful right?¡¯ Rose Of course¡­ I do¡­ just with my new memory ability¡­ I see no point in re-reading any of them again¡­ it just is boring since I can read them in my own head. Even if I missed something. Well¡­as much as I love to read; it might be good to go over, but I never prided myself as a smart person, I just want to have the knowledge of survival¡­ no way would I need to know how to make girly clothes¡­ and everything else in there that probably is useless to me, as well as most of the history of this world that was documented¡­ if we are going into a portal of possible of no return, what use is that? Even if I loved history, oh yeah the portal is something they had in one of the books apparently this whole training thing is for me to survive in the next world¡­ or so it says¡­ and she even admits it¡­ but a chance of no return really is scary if you think about it¡­ Apparently Rose decided to stay silent after that while desperately trying to remember the current books that are there, mostly cause she thinks I won¡¯t dress properly in the future and probably continue dressing in the training gear they have me in since I got here, well different colors and designs but mostly seemly made by Amanda and she has a bad habit of these pants and now long sleeve shirts with straps on them, I know it¡¯s winter but the straps aren¡¯t that needed. But she seems to think their cute and keeps me in them, well not that they are not comfy but they would need to be a different color, she seems to have all the girly colors¡­ to me black¡­ or red¡­. Or a color that isn¡¯t so bright is more useful to me. The next day after another month when I thought the training was over because I read every book in that library that they shown me. I was forced to go into a plane then with the help of the demon instructor Jeff forced to jump out of it¡­ God I hate high places¡­ The worst of it all he is forcing me to hunt and survive on my own for the last of my training, and that this place has a lot of failed subjects that are more zombie then human or animal though they aren¡¯t infectious like the movies and such, they would still rip me to shreds if I am not careful then left me alone in a cabin with a few weapons, no guns, and some dried food that could last a month or so if I am careful. ¡°Growl¡± There was a sound that sounded more like wheezing then a growl but it was loud enough just as if it was outside the door. So I grabbed one of the swords that was laying down in the pile of weapons not really caring which since they are all pretty much the same, built like a half katana and half normal sword, since unlike normal katanas the blade really curved into the middle slightly instead of following to the back and is probably lighter than normal ones. But what I saw almost made me lose whatever I had in my stomach, it was like half human and half horse of something I have no idea, it had a like most of its bones sticking out of it like there was claw like horse legs on its shoulder blades with a horn sticking out of its head and to the point that it¡¯s eyes were like they were dangling from its head with a slight filmy string holding it in place with hairy legs with parts of its bones showing with a clear view that its heart is still beating slowly with its broken open rib cage, just standing outside the door facing it with sharp teeth with a horse head that really has no skin on it. With its having two different sets some sticking right out it¡¯s back facing the other direction while the normal set is facing outwards broken and dangling. And the moment it saw me it let out a growl that felt like I was going to fall over. What in the world¡­ is this place¡­? Left with no choice but to fight I came running at it with the basic knowledge I have of fighting hoping it had a similar anatomy as humans, but the moment I got close it threw one of the claw like things on its shoulders at me making me back step, but not being really use to being hit or attacked from both sides the other claw got me by surprise scratching across my back.If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Even though these clothes suppose to be resistant to cutting and such it doesn¡¯t stop bones and skin from breaking as I was pushed over from the back side nearly tripping over my own feet trying to stay in a defensive stance or else I will probably die. The beast didn¡¯t seem to want to give me a chance to catch myself and came lunging after me with the attempt to eat me alive while keeping it¡¯s claws coming after me as well as if it knew that it had me cornered and that I was not use to fighting or something, but the moment it got too close it did a stupid move, that I didn¡¯t expect it to do it ran right into the sword I had pointing outwards to try to defend myself while my footing was really unbalanced and it pierced right through its skull and brain out of dumb luck but the problem is it still was able to pierce me with one of its claws in the leg like it seemed to want to pin me down. Leaving me scared and alone here with this thing finally dead though it¡¯s horn when it fell if my sword wasn¡¯t there¡­ would have stabbed me while it was trying to eat me anyhow¡­ Once I got myself inside the cabin and with bandages and the fire started inside the oven as to not use the fire place to draw more attention that I didn¡¯t want, but I am sure¡­ that growl was enough to notify almost any of the creatures here to my location. Anyhow once I heated up the blade to it was hot enough while putting a cloth into my mouth that I was sure it was for the medical supplies here to clean stuff poured the cleaning and anti infection liquids on the wounds while trying my best not to scream, though during the fight I didn¡¯t really think too much about it¡­ I know I screamed pretty loud when I was first hit and then when it stabbed me¡­. Anyhow I need to stop being side tracked I can already feel Rose about ready to snap into a lecture on how it is important to clean the wound and close it, so I put the scolding hot blade onto the wound but this time even with the rag in my mouth I couldn¡¯t help but scream, although it was muffled it was really painful, probably way worse than any of the training, and about the level of the torture it took to get into this body only on a smaller scale. After wrapping my wounded leg up I was able to put some sort of splint on it enough to just keep me stable enough to walk slowly, though getting to far is nearly impossible¡­ and the fact they didn¡¯t tell me how long I would have to stay here. But I am sure I ended up using more medical supplies then needed, but I was kind of not in the right state of mind as that there was a freaking monster zombie like thing that tried to eat me hell¡­ I can still feel the guts and other organs that were in it when it slightly fell over me and they dangled out of the body, although¡­ the body itself was like it came out of a nightmare¡­ so was the smell that it gave off¡­ hell¡­ I can still smell it even from inside here, but I know there is no bath in this cabin since it¡¯s just a one room cabin with weapons seemingly well defended since all the windows were already boarded up. Maybe I was stupid for trying to go and fight it¡­. Maybe if I would of hide myself and waited to it left I would have been in better shape¡­. ¡®No due¡­.¡± Rose Well that was well deserved sarcasm¡­ I probably thought it would be easy kind of like the zombies in games where they are slow and super dumb¡­ this one¡­ I was lucky that it fell onto my blade and killed itself if. It¡¯s not like I would get that lucky again, especially with my luck that was considered the best out of all this stay here¡­ ¡®I think it really isn¡¯t right to stay here¡­ maybe things here are similar to the world they will send you to across the portal¡¯ Rose Not really the best way to go though I was put here for training¡­ so might as well as kill as many of them as possible¡­ ¡®Yes I think so too¡­ these things are gross and needs to be killed off¡­ I doubt we¡¯d be able to kill all of them though¡¯ Rose Getting up with a grunt while equipping myself with more than one blade deciding it¡¯s best to move that body away from the cabin while scouting out the area out so I know it¡¯s okay to rest at and maybe set up some traps¡­ if any of the zombie games I played was a guide it¡¯s best to make sure that the place is well defended. After dragging the body off to the woods a ways away keeping my guard up and finding a seemingly area to dump this gross thing off¡­ maybe the smell won¡¯t be too keen to being next to me¡­ and then digging up holes around it while taking one of the swords cutting off limbs off trees and then setting them up as well placed spikes around the body¡­ Then start burning it while making sure I have a bundle of the spikes to set around my cabin and setting up this area as another trap¡­ while putting some sort of strings around so the wind would constantly move through and make the sticks scrape each other with holes in them making light whistling noises.. On the way back I had to fight another three of these undead, but since I fought one I am use to their tricks¡­maybe... able to fight them off with a bit of effort¡­ and even cutting their heads off though one of the blades become quite chipped by the time I got back to the cabin¡­ And another three hours I was able to set enough traps around the cabin to count as a proper defense at least for one night¡­ and good timing too since the sun is just about to sit¡­ I walked into the cabin and sat down, but one thing for sure¡­ I am tired as hell¡­ was the last thing I thought before falling asleep sitting against the wall. Somehow a loud growl woke me up, not knowing when I fell asleep, probably do to all this my body relaxed a little then I feel asleep on the spot, although this is more than sleep¡­ somehow I feel that this body has even a faster healing rate than humanly possible, since the wound on my leg is no longer hurting, although I can still say the wound is there it isn¡¯t as hindering to move, more like just getting the skin and muscle torn some then my bones that seemed to be sore before. Slowly getting myself to get up to look over the window but before I could¡­. ¡®Didn¡¯t you learn anything from the last time?¡¯ Rose Jumping from her random outburst, no this isn¡¯t the time for me to jump¡­ maybe this Rose is just proof I am crazy already, but she does have a point the last time I nearly died, but now instead of growling it is more like a sick slurping and crunching noise going on outside, like the sounds you¡¯d hear when something is being eating very sloppy wise. ¡®Don¡¯t ignore me! You cad!¡¯ Rose Come on now Rose¡­ we know I am crazy but no need to for name calling, since I know the last time I got careless this time I¡¯m just going to peek over the bottom of the window to see last time I was stupid and peaked over most of it even though it was boarded it still had plenty of openings. ¡®¡­¡¯ Rose Apparently she had no comment to say but I could seriously tell she didn¡¯t like the idea and thought I was an utter idiot. Outside through the cracks there was two seemingly normal-ish zombie types out there munching on the one like I killed before like it was destined to eat the fallen here even their own kind. It had seemed to die on the spikes I had set, along with quite a bit a few of them¡­ but I guess it wasn¡¯t the best idea since they seem to really eat their own kind¡­ The blade itself was still in pretty good order and sharp enough to fight these two off, since it might have been just bad luck to get a bigger type before these might be weaker¡­ but this time I decided to not take chances with being cocky and picked up a few daggers and opened the crack in the door as slowly as I could to not make a sound while holding my breath, luckily the heads were in view and not looking at me giving me perfect angle to throw the daggers, which are probably some kind of sword since they are longer then a dagger I seen before, and threw them one at a time hitting the heads of the zombies killing them in one blow, though¡­ it wasn¡¯t dead center it was close enough to kill them. Luck was on my side today¡­.. I think¡­ the time it took for me to get up and walk out there was more than normal since my leg itself still didn¡¯t want to obey completely so it was more like a limp and drag then an actual walk out to pull the daggers back out of the zombies, but my luck wasn¡¯t the best, and wasn¡¯t on my side today cause as soon as I pulled them out three more of them popped their heads out of the woods looking at me then with a low gurgling growl they charged right after me. ¡°¡­fuck¡± Jona With the lack of proper movement and the two daggers in my hands the only actual luck I had in this is even before I was in this body I was pretty decent at throwing daggers with good speed even got to where throwing axes and short swords were fun to do. Can¡¯t blame a guy for wanting to copy a favorite anime character that could bring out infinite blades and sling them like they are arrows, but that¡¯s digressing the point that these things are so disgustingly vomit inducing that with the smell alone makes you want to run and vomit I will say these things are more or less the worst possible outcome on the world. As I threw the two daggers at the two closest ones killing them by daggers through the eyes while jumping backwards and nearly tripping over the claw arm behind me while I drew my sword and cut the head of the third one off with great effort on my part since killing these things are more disgusting cause of all the rotten blood that comes out making the smell in the air even worse. Great¡­ from the sound of that it is more than three this time since it was more like it was five or more coming this direction¡­ so I swiftly picked my daggers back from the zombies with great effort this time cause of them being stuck into the eye sockets gripping the blades it took longer than just taking them from the other zombies that probably had weaker skulls. By the time I was able to finally get back inside the cabin there were over thirty zombie corpses outside and making me think of all the work I¡¯ll need to do to drag them off and I made sure to keep it from the woods cause I don¡¯t know if the instructor is in there somewhere but if he was I wouldn¡¯t want him to die that way¡­ if he was to die it would be by my own hands not by these undead. Though if it is the same as the zombies and undead in my games I like fire would be a great weakness to them so even if they walk through it could probably kill them before they get too close to the cabin so it comes off as an extra defense¡­ or so I hope. So on the way after resting and making sure none of my wounds are opening up. I decide to drag them all off to the other spot I made¡­ only one at a time this time with way more daggers or knives then before. Making my way slowly there¡­ there is another ten or so there, making them easy prey since they are also eating the corpses of the fallen dead as before throwing daggers into their skulls seem to kill them pretty fast¡­ god this is going to turn more into a mass grave then a trap¡­ Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.By the time I moved them all to this place and started burning them¡­ and making sure the whole is deep enough hand well set so it doesn¡¯t burn the forest it was already sun set¡­ again¡­ And being out here in the dark isn¡¯t the best idea there is¡­ but luckily I was able to get back to the cabin and re set the traps before it was too dark. But there is one thing I hate about this¡­. By the time I got into the cabin I was covered in the blood and guts of the zombies with no real way to wash myself off¡­ so disgusting the only option I have is to wipe myself down with the overly huge disinfectant wipes that is more like a towel then anything but strangely it doesn¡¯t seem to lose its use after last night so I used it to whip my face off with my hands and arms the best I could before getting a little bit of the dried meat. Rose¡­ do you think this will end anytime soon? ¡®Of course, this really doesn¡¯t seem like they want to let you die here, but to let you gain real life experience of war and survival, this is probably some survival graduation test¡¯ Rose Why would they ever want to put someone through this? I mean unless they really plan to send me to hell through that portal they we¡¯re talking about this really is seemingly a serious pain. ¡®The test is more of survival then fighting¡­ your just one of the type that wants to fight other than just surviving¡¯ Rose then let out a sigh. Well excuse me¡­ I didn¡¯t feel like it was a problem to kill them I mean they did send me here with infected like monsters. And to think I use to think about how the world would be like in this type of scene as if I wanted zombies to come out and take over, now I know how idiotic that was cause it takes so much effort just to cut and kill them if these blades didn¡¯t have a blade sharper then a razor with good light and yet heavy materials made in it I would of died multiple times already. ¡®well get some rest I can tell your body needs the sleep since I am in it, I¡¯d keep watch since we both share this body one side can rest while the other can stay semi active, though I can¡¯t take control of the body I can still use the senses¡¯ Rose As she said I was extremely tired enough to fall asleep with a nightmare of today¡¯s events going into a view... ¡­.. ¡­.. ¡­¡­.. I was running from the zombies, but the difference was it was people I knew, everyone I cared for, and they were not like normal zombies they were like devils in disguise trying to kill me with many swords and spears unlike the normal type of zombie the world itself was dipped in red the sky was bloody the moon looked like a laughing skull with burning flames for eyes laughing at me following me everywhere I ran. But the problem with all this is the fact I have no weapons at all I am my old self with no strength other then the ability to dodge and run with no effort of the life of every zombie around me aiming at me like a zombie army rushing me in a unit like format marching the same way with blood everywhere else up to my knees so it makes running even rougher than before. ¡°Why did a monster like you ever exist?¡± Mother ¡°You were the cause of my death!¡± Father ¡°You are the devil reborn on earth! You should repent and let us take our revenge.¡± Grandmother Many more things was said but mostly the same my fears that I carried around with me all my life cause I didn¡¯t do anything to them or to save them when if I was faster to act I could of saved their lives if I wasn¡¯t such a coward and didn¡¯t believe in my own signs that was sent me. This time I was surrounded with them rushing me stabbing me with the swords and spears having my blood splatter all over the place with my scream loud and even before their laughing it was drowned out as they keep stabbing and cutting to I was riddled with holes and then the ground itself buckled and I dropped into a pit like pond fool of blood as I sank into the bottom of it I could still hear their laughing and once I hit the bottom hands started coming out of the bottom pulling me deeper underground as if to drag me into hell¡­ ¡­. ¡­¡­ ¡­¡­¡­. ¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­ I jumped up awake after that with cold sweat all over my body, while sighing. I got up to whip it off my body the best I can as I took my clothes off since I have to put on the same dirty clothes on anyhow but at least I can use this large towel to whip my body a bit as I was looking at myself I noticed the wound on my leg was almost completely healed all that was left was a scar that looked disgusting. ¡®Boss¡­. You had a nightmare again¡­ you should really stop blaming yourself¡¯ Rose That would be impossible since if I had acted I know I could of at least saved a few of them, not only did I break the promise I made to be there for them, in order to take care of them with the money that is supposedly sent to them. I doubt I could ever see them again. The nightmare was more real this time¡­ as if that this place is bringing the nightmares more real like hell itself wanted to drag me in. and Rose didn¡¯t say anymore other then I could feel the comforting hands on my shoulders even though I know it¡¯s impossible it feels like she¡¯s trying her best to comfort me over this matter. Chapter Six: Mental Trip Walking over to the food being that it¡¯s been more than a week here so far other then the first two days every other day was more peaceful as in I was actively hunting all sorts of undead around here the first area I had set as a trap become like I had thought more of a mass grave counting over hundreds of bodies. I had also learned to cut the blades off their back and use them as make shift weapons to re do my traps since their sharper then wooden stakes, so reality is that the island has becoming less and less undead appearing so it¡¯s been pretty peaceful aside from the nightmares being different ways I die in the same place and always ends in the same pond of blood at the end. When all I want is a peaceful life where I didn¡¯t have to kill too often and could be happy like everyone else even if my facial expressions never been much other than a bored cold face like no emotions in my old life other then the mask I put on smiles to seem normal this life it¡¯s quite different I have to put on a mask to seem cold and with no emotion cause I know I have been more afraid of the zombies at the start which really made have a lapse in judgment and got me hurt, and the same with the second day if I had been calm I wouldn¡¯t of almost tripped over a corpse I knew was there it was more the emotions of the body that is surprising me, the fear, the hate, and all of them are more new to me making it harder for me to keep a calm collected head. The worst part is that the blood lust I been feeling, every battle every time it seems to the point of impossible the thrill of the fight seems to become more addictive then I¡¯d like to admit¡­ that¡¯s why I been hunting more and more each day using traps, and other things I made around the forest being able to take out as many as possible. I might take back about not liking to live in a zombie over run world¡­ since I can get use to this¡­ my only problem is simple¡­ the lack of food if there wasn¡¯t any provided for this I think I would of already starved by now. So I did the only thing I knew how to do since I was young when emotions were in the way I sat down legs crossed and went into meditation to find my inner calm to be able to control my body more than I have been cause of all the stuff that¡¯s been happening, I can clearly say this is the eye of the storm, it will most likely get worse from now on. Did you know it is harder to get into your inner calm with emotions? It is like they are making you feel and want to think more then you realize, and in a place like this where you can die at any moment really makes you always want to huddle and hide and cry. But after a few hours I was able to enter my calm minded state in my meditation able to find my inner peace, my happy place. The ability to do this will actually help you move through life even the harshest of lives if you know how to make your mind calm and happy like a saint with no fear or hate, only love and forgiveness. But mine has been always different it is more like a blank darkness with nothing, no hate, fear, love, or forgiveness. It was more or less just darkness nothing but darkness and with me being the light in the center of it it¡¯s always been my way to calm myself and inside it feels like time runs differently then outside cause I have been able to practice my own methods itself inside like how to fight, and I was able to remake my enemies and fight them on a harder scale then I can in real life. Making them stronger than they really are keeping a calm collection keeping myself able to dodge and copy said moves, since I have memorized every different style of fighting and weapon use, I can use that in here now even if it would take me way longer in real life to do so or get use to them at least I can learn the know how quicker here Being inside here is like being in the eye of the storm with weapons all over the place after I decided to train while waiting for the moment to strike like a cobra while being on a defensive stance. Making it up as I go with the fighting with monsters, trainers and even animals that was in the books came in handy hell I even brought a dragon to the match although it was a dumb choice cause it was nearly impossible to kill too it let it¡¯s guard down and started playing with me like I was a toy. Breaking each sword I would go straight after another keeping cutting the same spot on the dragon after every other one was defeated through different styles I read in the books but it felt like my heart was on my skin every time they came after me I would feel like I was going to die every cut felt like fire going through me while the dragon itself was busting me around with its tail bringing me into the ground slamming me into ground over and over like a meat paste making me buried underground.You could be reading stolen content. Without even letting me say anything she lunged at me with the sword even more practical than me like she mastered the style and ended up stabbing right into my shoulder without any care she kicked me in the stomach to force me to fly back. ¡°You really have been ticking me off lately, rushing into things and not taking my thoughts into consideration, you in fact half the time make it even hard to speak to you with your stupid inner monologue but I was fine with that, the problem is you are always rushing things before completely thinking it through and it ticks me off.¡± Rose She didn¡¯t even give me much of a chance to get up like this place was hers and not my own she decided to throw me like she had the power of the dragon on her own then stabbed me into the gut while I was in the air and slammed me back into the ground. ¡°You also never took me or anyone serious? And yet you blame yourself for everything that has gone wrong!¡± Rose This time she stood there waiting for me to stand before lunging at me but this time I was out of my shocked confused state and parried her blade and sent a kick to her side but she just used her knee to raise to block it before pushing off and jumping back before coming after me again with and over head swing of the blade I like wise went under to block the swing not cause it was too fast to try to strike her otherwise but with all of this we were just matching blow for blow never any progress and the fact the pain is still there though it isn¡¯t any damage to me per say it just is using my mind to make me think it is there like mind games. ¡°Yet you care for people that care nothing for you in the beginning! The whole trip back was more or less boring no one talked other than me and Rose just going back and forth about why they decided to cut the training short, and what problem could of came up but still glad that we didn¡¯t have to stay there any longer. As we ended up landing I can tell that they had arm guards ready to shoot me down if I did anything as an extra measure to insure that I would follow their leads. You¡¯ll also should know you can¡¯t equip more than two classes at one time same for jobs, and if you wish to rebirth your level back to one, you¡¯ll need to at least level up to two-hundred to be able to even consider it. Well now this is super interesting, it seems I did keep most my skills from my game characters, though some are lower than I had and medic just seems to be a lower version. Well then¡­ this is a large list of skills though she did say I would have to make my own right in the arts and earn this worlds classes¡­ but reality I doubt I even need one¡­ seeing as that¡¯s a bit odd even for myself¡­ well I Wonder if there any titles?

As for titles¡­ they aren¡¯t as important to look into at this moment¡­ though some of them do look quite well because the area around all wooded but luckily I am on a road. So I will just follow the right side to I go somewhere no point in waiting around for something to come to me. The road is well made and is easy to follow, though some parts are uneven it isn¡¯t that hard. But on the way I decided to try to practice Holy Magic in process to level it after harming myself do to intense physical training when I went off into the forest to fight the beast here¡­ somehow they seem rather weak compared to the zombies but it was quite fun getting use to fighting them though it took a lot of effort to even kill them. While holy magic healed my health back to full it was harder than one would expect specially the imagining of the healing art. It was mostly imaging the human body getting rejuvenated and full of life, but to me even with following that train of thought the healing seemed to only heal thirty health every minute or so at the cost of twenty mana, though it keep a good time waster. But something tells me I need to do more intense training here¡­ ¡®I could do the training for you~¡¯ Rose Indeed you can because you¡¯re me, but something tells me that it would be a moot point if you learned how to do it all even if you told me or I could access the memory of it won¡¯t be the same as actually doing it. ¡®I mean to me wouldn¡¯t it be easier to just imaging a warm healing light?¡¯ Rose ¡­. Really, why didn¡¯t I think of that¡­ most likely cause I am still not believing in the concept of magic, really in my eyes it is pretty illogical, and I have also noticed I can¡¯t change the Job ¡°Princess¡± it is like it is locked on the first job as if I only have one spare job that I could change. When I imagined the way to heal myself the way Rose suggested I ended up healing over one hundred health at one go for fifty mana to be compared to the before it is much more beneficial to use. Since I believe my control of magic is not that good it¡¯s better to use less¡­ scientific ways to use magic or it might end up blowing up in my face at least to I get use to controlling magic¡­. Since the other way might have healed less it seemed to be quite more intense since I had to focus on set body parts since it¡¯s quite hard to focus my mind on my entire body since even though I spent little over a year in it¡­ it¡¯s still quite new to me since I still don¡¯t know everything there is to know. Even if know how the human body works and set animals of my old world¡­. This body isn¡¯t exactly human form what I know. So we decided to practice other arts like Clone since it was quite easy to figure out¡­ and we found out Rose can come out and control the clone so making practicing physically a lot easier as she seemed to get a grasp of the skills easier than me. While fighting back and forth and fighting monsters while learning easily control over the skills I decided to see if I could do what I did in the game cultivate¡­ though not expecting to go higher than the King Stage, it¡¯s still good enough to strengthen my body¡­ Sitting down while Rose in the clone guarding me in case something happens I enter my meditation state, while seeing a lake inside me it¡¯s different then before¡­ it¡¯s not where I practice with Rose or other it¡¯s more like a lake inside myself like in the novels I read¡­ some seem to be an ocean some seem to be a pond¡­ while mines only a lake. Feeling like experimenting¡­ I try to pull the Qi in my body into my muscles and skin only to find it is quite easy to do so¡­ following the Kings cultivating art¡­ it seems hard at a glance but since they are quite different then the novels or other stories that make them able to split mountains¡­ it really is a simple body strengthening art¡­ Though your speed and such does increase¡­ you¡¯ll still find it really hard to face a Dragon without good gear even if you were at the Heavenly Stage. While thinking of this the Qi in my body had nearly empted into my body and strengthening every part of my body¡­ before slowly refilling since I am in a Qi meditation state it refills quite fast¡­ or at least to what I feel, but my body refuses to take anymore into its cells, skin or even bones¡­ after the first push it seems that I have reached the limit to the next stage. Opening my eyes only to find out its morning and Rose is quite bored¡­ and a quick check to my status only to see that nothing really went up but I do feel stronger in a sense. Getting up nearly made me jump into the sky and landing was quite the pain too¡­ After a few hours of getting use to it and Roses laughing on the ground I was finally able to move normally. ¡°I didn¡¯t expect you to take three days to meditate¡­ you wouldn¡¯t even answer me when I thought we¡¯d need food¡­ ¡° Rose said between laughs. ¡°I didn¡¯t expect¡­¡± ¡°it to take that long?¡± Rose ¡°Yes..¡± ¡°You know¡­ you really should talk more¡­ not as much as your internal monologues but still¡± Rose ¡°Not really¡­ since it¡¯s easier to think then speak¡­¡± After that Rose let the clone poof to go back inside me, as it was probably not good to waste my mana on keeping the clone out longer.. at least for now ¡®You can talk better this way huh¡­¡¯ Rose Yes I can, though this is one long ass road with very little people¡­ it¡¯s like the whole time we been here not a single person has been seen¡­ ¡®Well we might of missed them when we go into the forest to train and store the bodies of the monsters we fight, though I doubt it is a good idea to meet strangers alone like this¡¯ Rose You have a good point¡­ but it still is quite weird no one is here¡­ Deciding to go back into the forest yet again to keep training¡­. By the day¡¯s end I decided to check my status yet again Only to find out my level has went up from one to twenty with all the time we been here¡­ and all of my stats stayed the same¡­ other than that my skills had went up were Martial arts to level nine, stealth to level seven, swordsmanship to max, throwing blades to eight. And at level ten I was able to gain a few new classes Ranger, and at level twenty I got the class Swordswoman¡­ each of them are at the given levels¡­ Ranger is at level twenty, while Swordswoman is also at level Twenty¡­ though it is probably I spent all this time actually fighting that got them higher. Though they didn¡¯t really give me any new skills since my previous classes tend to already have them. Trying different styles of the quick draw combo made killing things quite easier¡­ but somehow skills form classes didn¡¯t seem to raise or the fact that they were unable to raise cause of the classes not being actually classes anymore but I do find myself getting better at using the said skills over time. We spent most of a whole month doing this¡­ only to find out it¡¯s not a good idea to use the path arts since it leaves your body extremely weak after using just the Forgotten Seal¡­ which just seals up the area around you allowing you to have control over even the air in a set space, but only for less than twenty seconds, and after wards you wouldn¡¯t be able to move at all. But it is only a small part of the skill it really isn¡¯t used this way¡­ it¡¯s suppose to seal off magic and such on a set target not a space¡­ we just¡­ decided to tweak it¡­ and I can already feel the gods being mad at me for doing so¡­ hints the pain¡­ that took me over four more days just¡­ to recover from¡­ four days¡­ for just¡­ twenty seconds¡­ not really worth it¡­ But it isn¡¯t really that much of a problem we gotten easily able to fight quite easily in this forest¡­ but it are not that the whole world would be easy. Deciding to make a camp for tonight hoping tomorrow would be the time I¡¯ll actually meet someone¡­ and find my way to a town. Chapter Nine: Bandit Girl Waking up to a beautiful sunrise I decided to try to make chakra since my ninja class needed it¡­ though it¡¯s harder than expected¡­ chakra is just the mana and spiritual energy combined, never higher than the spiritual part, so even if I have more mana I can only use the same amount as the spiritual for it. The worst part is the spiritual energy just takes forever to recharge if you don¡¯t actively cultivate it, and it takes at least an hour at the moment to even recharge forty points normally just letting it go by itself. Though it doesn¡¯t take much to use the skills at the bare minimum but if I used it with full power it would end up taking a lot of it. The trees are very pretty here as well not only that but the air is clean and crisp no pollution here, probably no guns and cars either, or at least I hope there isn¡¯t any. While walking down the road thinking of how beautiful the world is I am brought back to reality with a shout. ¡°Oi, you dirty bandits what do you have to say for yourself!¡± Knight A ¡°Yea, you been walking around the streets to much lately.¡± Knight B ¡°But¡­ I am not a ba¡­.¡± Bandit Girl ¡°Shut up! We will deliver justice!¡± Knight A Hmm¡­ this doesn¡¯t seem right¡­ I mean shouldn¡¯t knights well be more knightly? And the girl doesn¡¯t even look like a bandit from my point of view¡­ and the fact¡­ their ruining¡­. The scenery with their¡­ load annoying selves¡­ Without even any warning the Knight A slashed the girl pushing her down with a gash over her chest. These people are disgusting¡­ calling her a bandit¡­ and won¡¯t even let her defend herself? Not like it has anything to do with me nor do I even care to save her but it¡¯s like they are in my way. Soo¡­ very annoying¡­ though I had to moved through them anyhow¡­.. might as well as save this girl¡­ ¡°Move it¡­¡± Jona I wish¡­ they were off to the side¡­ instead of blocking the whole road with their bodies and horses, but I guess I had the reverse effect since they both turned to me with their swords facing me with a disgusting smile. Though I did see a bit of shock when they first turned around but once they found out I was female they decided to smile like they found another pretty target. Sigh¡­.. really this is too clich¨¦ for me¡­ although it¡¯s knights and not bandits doing it¡­ but who cares. ¡°Can you move?¡± Jona ¡°Oi! You dumb bandit you can¡¯t tell me what to do!¡± Knight A ¡°Yeah you should be passive like this other wench!¡± Knight B I think I will start calling Knight B Lackey One since he just is there for a follow up. ¡®Can you try the cloning? So I can deal with them?¡¯ Rose I just left my third katana on my hip while using both hands to make symbols between each other at a fast pace with a spark of energy starting to flow around me and the space beside me a clone with the same exact looks except the only thing different is the eyes were blue. Even I have no idea why my pink eyes don¡¯t copy over then set back and did the transfer of Rose through our own style since we are one mind meaning she can control the clones like her own body. Though only one clone is what I can make recently ¡°Ah¡­ this is much better¡­. Ehehe¡­.¡± Rose ¡°huh?¡± Knight A ¡°What?¡± Lackey One They seemed to be shocked at what was going on but Rose didn¡¯t seem to care. ¡°Now.. then boys~ I will make you more beautiful~ with a pretty cuts here and there~¡± Rose She seemed to be basically singing even though the clone is half my stats the swords also copied over though probably half the normal compatibility and she didn¡¯t even bother with the ones on her back and just keep the red dragon one and walked towards them humming the theme song from D**TH Va**er while trying her best to stay calm. Though it only served to piss the Knights off as they charged her but the sad thing is she just did to them what she did to me¡­. Stabbed them both in the sword arms shoulder though she went right between the armor joints to make sure she got past the bone and out to the other side in quick sessions almost like she didn¡¯t really move the blade as she keep walking towards them with a killing them for what they did for some reason.This book''s true home is on another platform. Hell her clothes alone are more like a normal girl just out to get flowers! Just look at that basket beside her you idiots~!¡± Rose She seems to still be singing but I think it¡¯s mostly to keep her calm since I never really seen her angry other than that time she beat my ass up and down to next week¡­. But as she was messing with them I decided to stealthy move behind them to the girl and as Rose said the girl is probably just some commoner at the wrong time and wrong place. ¡°shh¡­ It¡¯s okay¡­ ¡° Jona Trying to sooth the girl and check her vitals at the same time, she is really shaking and pale cause of the blood lose, though I can heal her I don¡¯t know if I can heal her blood lose here meaning that she¡¯ll probably need more rest then I can give here at the moment. ¡°ah¡­ ah?¡± Girl ¡°No need to speak¡± Jona Then while the Idiot Knights were being distracted by Rose, I ended up using some of my mana to heal the wound on her chest though it will probably leave a scar, it is at least not bleeding anymore and I was able to help her off to the side as we watch Rose sigh in relief as she knows that I took care of her worry, then her acting like she has been just dropped and the Rose I knew before came out without a smile. The knights seemed to be fighting her two on one, but she wanted to fight so I will let her take care of it herself, though it isn¡¯t that hard it seems though they might have more power than she has more speed with her blade like a cobra waiting to strike at the right moment without any flaws in her movements similar to the Blade Dancer Class though the clones can only use one Class and one Job at a time it is more to say that she just sticks with the Dancer class since it is more or less in movement and synergy. The blades of the knights didn¡¯t even get close to her as she keep dancing around them striking their legs, arms, back, even the sides and chest area with quick motions only making them grow angrier as they keep telling her to stand still but the energy she is using is too much for the clone at the moment so she has to finish it pretty fast or she will poof cause the clone will vanish once all the energy used in it vanishes because it becomes impossible to keep it stable. ¡°Well guys¡­ it¡¯s time to finish this¡± Rose {Dancing Requiem of the Dragon¡¯s Wrath} The next moment her blade growled like it was a dragon on its own cutting through their swords and armor in one fast spin around killing them both in one move as she broke up into flower pedals that scattered off with the wind in the blood that splashed all over the place. ¡®Well.. that was fun¡­¡¯ Rose Why did you even want to fight in the first place? ¡®Cause to hit innocence and charge then without giving them any way to defend themselves just pissed me off.¡¯ Rose Well¡­ remind me to never get on your bad side like that, even though I took a beating¡­.. ¡®I am sorry¡­ I was trying not to end up being creepy¡­ and super angry cause I didn¡¯t know if they would take the girl as hostage¡¯ Rose You didn¡¯t end up being that creepy though in the future¡­ singing and humming while being angry and wanting to kill them isn¡¯t a good idea¡­ ¡®Sorry¡­¡¯ Rose No need to be sorry you wanted to save the girl and you had probably a lot of pent up angry cause of me to begin with. ¡°Excuse me¡­..¡± Girl I looked down at her covering her chest that was cut blushing for some odd reason, though she is about 16 years old, with curly brown hair and a common type dress you¡¯d see cheaply made and mostly used as a night gown in my old world, though it had some leather around the front of it like an apron. ¡°Sorry, for before.¡± Jona I decided to take my bag off my back because I seemed forgotten, though it seems more or less lighter than before? And when we got to the point to where I first was mad at her and beat her up while making it up to her. The second time is me trying to act the part of one of her favorite characters with my own twist, but I know I over did it with the last kick to the head, I had thought since it¡¯s a dream plane one can¡¯t get knocked out. But what happened next scared me more than my acting because she got up seemingly blank minded with none of her old self inside her and eyes of a dead killer¡­. Path is a set of footwork that is only used by the forgotten Royal Family of Flames. The kingdom was destroyed by an army of demonic beast that came out of a gate to a broken dungeon. The dungeon itself has sense been sealed keeping the demons from spawning out too much, but sadly there has been too many of them that has released on that day and is still raiding villages too today. This Path art comes in three different skills: Forgotten Seal: is an art where you seal the movements of your enemies in a small time frame depending on its level the air around the target seems to hold them steal for a small time frame kind of similar to time stop ability, but this skill is forgotten for a reason. The only ones able to use this is the people of royal blood, if anyone else was to try they would end up frozen as well. Making this skill pretty useless to anyone else. Forbidden Art: As it is said it is forbidden even the Royal family didn''t use this one unless it was the last resort, it is like trading one¡¯s life for power, and if it didn''t kill the user even Royalty would be unable to fight anymore, and would be weaker than a commoner with no power. This art itself brings the life force of the user into a storm of blades around the user cutting and killing anything in a thirty meter radios. Unknown Seal: this is an Art that is even forgotten, no one not even the Royal family has been able to unlock its secrets.
Well that also explains¡­ the danger of when she used Forgotten seal¡­ and was sore for a while it seems all these skills are last resort types¡­ I won¡¯t be using these skills for a while since all of them seem to be iffy even if they are powerful not even a skill I want Jona to use¡­.. but the rest is pretty self explanatory since they are out of the game since the three dances buff allies while fighting and hurting the enemies, Fire increases moral and str, Blades increases speed and sharpness of a blade, demons takes away the feel of pain making them like demons on the battlefield, while Requiem of Angels itself even though it¡¯s locked I know what it does, it is a healing dance where everyone in the radius will be healed of any wound, at the cost of the users health and mana, but it would never kill the user just make them really tired. Elemental stance is similar to martial arts except it uses the elements that dance along with your blade. And the rest is pretty much explanatory right??? ¡­.. Her armor seems to be mostly silk or cloth of some kind most likely magically enhanced, because she only has one sheet of metal protecting the right of the chest with strings similar to mine holding it in place with both shoulders with the same type of metal folded like the visor on the back of her head seemingly like it could activate and protect her whole arm with a thin sword with a beautiful rose design sticking behind her back with a shiny metal sheath. While under this armor was on the left side another layer of blue the same color of the visor that seemed to stretch down her left arm being her sword arm with shiny blue gauntlets on both arms while one has a shield like buckle on it that just covers the length of her elbow to her fist, but it seems to be able to spread out like a magical shield cause it¡¯s thin with the same type of metal made from it, underneath the blue shirt like silk is a white dress that seemingly was the most normal of all the clothes she had on with a belt to hold it in place with metal protecting her thighs.
