Inside a facility somewhere in the Continent of Northern America, numerous people clad in pure white robes frantically ran around the area. "How will our Stealth, last?" "The Stealth will only last for twelve hours at most, Sir!" The voice that replied in a tone of hopelessness bitterly chuckled, ever since those bastards arrived out of nowhere, humanity has been constantly fighting back, but the sheer numbers of the beasts in contrast to humanity''s current population still pushed them to the brink of extinction. Now, this facility that contained the last several thousands of humans may be the last stronghold of humanity. However, it wouldn''t last long. In the next twelve hours, those beasts will definitely arrive and annihilate them all. But contrary to one''s expectations, the people here still remained vibrant and joyful, as if their impending annihilation didn''t exist. Instead, they smiled at each other and keep working on their task. Completing the cryogenic stasis craft so they could send their beacon of hope towards space. A pair of husband and wife stood beside each other, staring at the cryogenic craft, complicated emotions ran through their faces. They spent a decade of their life completing this craft so that humanity''s knowledge wouldn''t be lost. At first, the person that would be cryogenically frozen would be chosen by a raffle. However, his proposal was denied. No one wanted to leave their loved ones and they would rather die together with them than travel enter an uncertain journey. When their son, Gabriel was born, they made the decision to freeze his infant body and implant him an Artificial Intelligence Chip containing humanity''s knowledge that spanned several centuries of years. The plan was to send him into space to search for traces of other civilization in hopes of making him survive. But they knew that their plan wasn''t failproof. All sorts of danger existed in space, and no one knew if their son would survive the journey, alone. But still, it was better than nothing. "Sir, the activation sequence has been completed, shall I start implementing your customized sequences?" A young man whose hands danced around the keyboard said, the middle-aged man along with his wife turned towards the young man and smiled, "Yeah, incorporate the activation sequence and start injecting the Bloodline of the Baconaua." The young man turned pale, "Sir, are you really sure that we''ll inject that Bloodline in his body?" The middle-aged man leaked a wry smile, "Yeah, What use is being human if you can''t survive in the first place? Just inject it..." His wife squeezed his arm in apprehension. The middle-aged man noticed her wife''s emotions and ruffled her hair. He lifted his head and stared at the child that floated inside a tube in the three-meter tall cryogenic stasis craft. The Baconaua was one of the monsters that emerged from the spatial crack. Only after they bombarded it with ten nuclear bombs did it die. Twenty minutes later, everyone on the team sat on the ground, staring at the completed progress bar that displayed in the LCD Screen. In just twenty minutes, they completed a process that would normally take several hours to finish. Huffing and puffing, relieved smiles leaked on their faces as everyone gathered around each other, telling stories while chugging some beers. Both husband and wife stared at each other, smiling. Approaching their comrades, they bragged to each other about what they achieved in their small lifetime. Soon, tears streamed down their faces and they started talking about the regrets and sins that they did in their lifetime. "You silly, I already forgot about that matter, don''t worry about it..." Moving towards their station, their hands danced across the keyboard and soon, a fierce heat along with an explosion occurred, the jet engine''s fastened on the spacecraft lifted it towards the skies. Staring at the gradually disappearing spacecraft, a small smile lifted on everyone''s lips. They felt relieved that even though they would die, they still managed to send humanity''s last beacon of hope into safety. Both husband and wife and everyone on the team that was couples started sharing their last kiss. And the singles on the team opened their beers and chugged them down as the figure of a Dragon appeared in the skies before them. The Dragon whose gigantic body shadowed the entire facility looked condescendingly at them. But everyone continued what they were doing, completely disregarding its presence. The Dragon didn''t attack, letting them experience their last respite before death. However, its eyes suddenly widened in fear as it felt a sense of imminent danger sweeping through its body. Inside the facility, the middle-aged man''s palm pressed on a red button as the nuclear reactor that supplied the facility with energy, collapsed, bringing with it a surge of heat as the figures of everyone inside the facility, became swallowed by a bright light. Everything in the area turned into dust, the Dragon flew backward, landing on the sea with severe injuries on its body, but before it could gain altitude, a shark comparable to a megalodon but several times bigger swallowed it whole. ... An unknown amount of time passed, a cryogenic stasis craft returned back to Earth after it failed its mission of finding traces of other civilization or habitable planets where the person inside could live. Entering the Earth''s atmosphere, it descended in the form of a falling star which destroyed everything upon impact. Chapter 2: Meteor Ever since the spacecraft that contained humanity''s last beacon of hope flew towards space. Several hundreds of years have passed since then. Fortunately, humanity didn''t thoroughly become extinct. Instead, they adapted and evolved, their bodies conformed with the harsh conditions of Earth, absorbing the bloodline of the beasts. They obtained abilities that didn''t obviously belong to mankind. However, the constant war that they sieged against the beasts worsened the Earth''s conditions to the extent that they only managed to turn half of Asia''s continent, into a habitable zone fit for living. The rest of the world still contained those abominable beasts and they would occasionally try and invade humanity''s stronghold but they would be repelled by humanity''s strongest Evolvers. At the place where Beijing once stood, the last stronghold of humanity stood. With a population of mere ten million. However, because of the widespread destruction and annihilation of lives that occurred several hundreds of years ago. The knowledge that humanity piled up through the internet and libraries, were also lost in the process. But of course, not everything was lost. But if you compare the current world with the world back then. The disparity would be too huge. The snowflakes that descended from the air looked black and gray. The air was hard and painful to breathe and the coldness that enveloped the atmosphere could freeze anyone into popsicles. But miraculously, the humans still continued on their daily routine like nothing. They had adapted to these conditions. By absorbing the beasts'' bloodline, they improved their physique and could now endure the harsh conditions of the present day, Earth. Suddenly, everyone raised their heads, they could see a meteor descending. When they saw the meteor, everyone frantically ran and reported this occurrence towards the Commander General of the City. And after the latter received the news, he inspected and found that the meteor would not strike the ocean so the possibility of a tsunami was null. Since the meteor wouldn''t strike the ocean, the common populace calmed down and stared at the gradually largening figure of the meteor. Although something like this was a normal occurrence for them, they still stared and enjoyed the beauty of the fiery rock. An explosion occurred and because of the angle, they could not see the impact. After witnessing that it crashed down. They returned back to their previous duties and the Commander General stopped bothering about it. After all, it''s just a piece of space rock. The identity of that meteor was a spacecraft that leaped through time. It formed a thirty-meter wide crater around it as a mechanical voice, interrupted the eerie silence. Upon the meteor''s impact, the lurking beasts'' boosted by their curiosity towards the strange object that landed, arrived and observed the small Cryogenic Craft. Their eyes flashed in a strange light upon noticing the young child that slowly approached their vicinity. The child looked frail and juicy with fair skin and a handsome countenance. His arms thin and his footsteps shaky, yet his expression revealed a desire for food as he calmly walked towards the location of a gigantic snake which hissed in warning. The snake activated its warning systems and projected resplendent lights that looked like an aurora. If the young man was a beast, his instincts would recognize these signs as a prelude to a counter-attack. But unfortunately for the snake, the young man was just a child that wanted to eat. With a final hiss, wind sprung and the snake''s tail lashed out followed by a booming sound which reverberated across the area. The snake revealed a satisfied expression when it felt the feedback from its attack. But when it looked down, it noticed that the young man looked unharmed and kept approaching its vicinity with arms stretched outwards in desire. It seems like the young child thought that it would be a delicious food and he relentlessly chased after the snake that became terrified of the child''s strange tenacity and strength. The other predatory beasts'' stared at their antics with weird lights flashing within their eyes. The snake had the Bloodline of a Wyvern and a mutated King Cobra. However, it became cowardly and afraid of the young man as it ran towards the opposite direction in a speed faster than sound. Realizing that its food started running away. The young child''s expression reddened in anger, his instincts kicked in, fueled by his hunger as he stretched his hand out. A deafening roar echoed and the snake crashed on the ground after being attacked by a mysterious force that came from the young man''s hands. The other beasts that wanted to help the snake and gain its favor immediately retreated, afraid that the young man may make them his prey. The snake looked pitiful as its body rubbed on the ground, it was slowly getting pulled towards the young man whose hands still stretched out, but his face, already drooling with saliva. ''Fuck this shit, I''m not gonna die here!'' The snake inwardly roared and the silhouette of a Wyvern along with a four-headed King Cobra manifested in the air. The resulting power managed to resist the pulling might that came from the young child''s hand. The young child frowned, he didn''t expect that the snake could escape his grasp and even threaten his well-being. Just as the snake was about to retaliate. Danger Detected!] [Activating Guardian Angel''s Activation Sequence.] The remaining energy of the Cryogenic Craft fiercely burned as its body suddenly transformed into Modern Weapons that pointed at the beast before him. After the System of the Craft detected the attacking beast, consecutive thunderous booms rang out as the machine guns sent rounds after rounds towards the pitiful body of the snake. The snake shrieked miserably and the other beasts retreated while gloating at the death of the tyrannical mutated beast. But at the same time, the eyes that they used to look at the young child, changed. From now on, no matter what, we must not provoke this monster of human! The young child, completely oblivious to the thoughts of the beasts, stared at the charred snake and savored the fragrant smell of cooked flesh as he excitedly ran towards the dead snake and started his feast. Sitting on the chair, the door of the Craft closed and the mechanical voice which sounded robotic changed into a feminine one, that said, "Welcome back, Son" A semi-transparent screen displayed the figure of a young woman whose visual appearance looked to be in her early twenties. The young woman sweetly smiled and Gabriel who stared at her couldn''t understand why he felt such a sense of familiarity with her. "I am sure that by this time since the Guardian Angel Activation Sequence was activated, you have definitely landed and also met some danger..." The young woman frowned, "But don''t worry. Mother is here to protect you! Just listen to mother and you will definitely survive!" "M-m-mother...?" These were the first word that came out from Gabriel''s mouth. His voice mellow and filled with the innocence and the longing of a child. Gabriel complied and the system reacted once again. Another semi-transparent screen floated in the air, indicating the location of water that he could possibly consume. "It looks like there is water. But before we go there, I need to find out if you returned back to Earth or you''re currently at another habitable planet, somewhere outside the Solar System,'' The young woman''s words were gibberish for Gabriel. However, the instincts inside his body told him that he could rely on this young woman whom he called as his mother. "Find this button and press it." Gabriel obliged and numerous mechanical voiced resonated inside the Cryogenic Craft. The young woman frowned upon hearing the mechanical voice, "Son, it seems like you''re back in Earth, according to me and your father''s prediction, any source of water will definitely be guarded by those bastards..." Her tone suddenly became harsh by the mention of those bastards. Gabriel''s eyes shone in complicated emotions. Within several minutes, they arrived at the location and Gabriel, along with the young woman saw a pristine lake whose waters shone in a deep azure color. "Woah..." Surprise came out of her mouth, "I didn''t expect that a water source that is so clear and delicious looking like this would still exist...Could it be the work of those beasts?" She wondered and the beasts who casually enjoyed themselves noticed the arrival of the intruder. Resplendent lights shone on their bodies as a warning, yet the Craft remained indifferent, floating in the air. Its body transformed and numerous weapons appeared on its side. [Target found!] [Annihilation in Progress!] A deafening roar consumed everything along with the constant miserable shrieks of the beasts. Their blood dyed the azure colors of the lake into a deep crimson hue as hundreds of them fell on the ground, one by one. An excited light shone in Gabriel''s eyes when he saw, numerous food falling on the ground. A glistening drool dripped from the edge of his lips and the young woman chuckled upon witnessing his antics. "They look delicious, right? But you must not eat them raw! You need to cook them!." She pointed with her finger and warned, "I''ll show you how it is done with the Craft," The massacre ended and the surrounding beast that observed didn''t dare to approach the Craft''s vicinity. The excited Gabriel came out of the craft and dragged a two-meter tall crocodile as the young woman said, "Good, good, put it there and press this button," Gabriel with the prospects of food, happily obeyed as the Craft turned its laser weapons and charred the crocodile meat to perfection. Their footsteps halted and their expressions, looked miserable as if their relatives lost their lives. Hearing the crunchy noises from Gabriel''s mouth worsened their mood as they retreated with their hands covering their ears. The young woman turned speechless as Gabriel stretched his body and started yawning. Rubbing his murky eyes, he returned back to the Craft as the young woman suddenly said, "Before you sleep, I''ll introduce you to someone that will help you in learning the techniques that we implanted in your mind..." She gave a small, mysterious smile. Gesturing with both of her hands, she presented the figure of a middle-aged man whose appearance greatly resembled Gabriel. The only difference was he looked colder and strict. "Hello, young man. Since you returned back to home, I''m gonna start training you so that you can fight back against those bullies, you understand?" He spoke in a gentle, yet harsh voice which made Gabriel, who heard what he said, repeatedly nod his head like chicken pecking rice. "Good, but you need to sleep first and digest everything that you ate. When you wake up later, we''ll start the hunt for playmates..." "What playmates? Are you saying that those damnable bastards will become my precious boy''s playmates?" "No, I didn''t mean it like that, Dear, what I meant to say is that those beasts shall become my boy''s plaything, you do know about how bad am I with words, right?" Chapter 4: Krav Maga In this world full of ashes and ruins, the sun''s light looked murky when filtered with the dark clouds. Despite all that, Gabriel''s biological clock awakened him in exactly eight hours after he fell asleep. The craft offered him sufficient shelter and when he stood up, the intangible figure of a middle-aged man greeted him with a smile, "Good morning, little child," He said, an amiable smile lifted on his lips. Gabriel''s gaze swept over at that figure and his throat opened, imitating what he said, a small voice, filled with the innocence of spring, echoed. "Good morning," The middle-aged man''s appearance contrasted the sweet smile that he revealed upon hearing the words of the small child before him. Clapping his hands together, he said, "Today, we''re gonna play a simple game..." "Game?" Gabriel mumbled, "Indeed, it''s just a simple, harmless game called Tag," The man nodded his head and the doors of the Cryogenic Stasis Craft opened, revealing the scorched and fiery scenery behind it. "Okay, now go outside, you can find your playmates, lurking around." The middle-aged man inside the semi-transparent screen gestured and Gabriel complied as he walked out and swept his gaze around. With his clear outside bestowed upon him by his superior bloodline of the Baconaua, he spotted numerous beasts and all of them shivered when they felt the young child''s gaze. "The Game of Tag is simple, you must capture all those beasts and bring them here!" He instructed and Gabriel immediately hopped towards the lurking beasts with his arms stretched towards them in a big hug. However, the beasts who witnessed the terrifying might that the young child before them displayed yesterday, immediately tucked their tails behind and ran towards the opposite direction. Some of the smarter beasts scattered while the other beasts continued running in a linear direction. Dust sprung in the air and the land trembled upon the weight of the stampeding beasts. Gabriel paid no heed to this commotion, his sights focused on a single monkey that repeatedly leaped on thick branches of trees. The intricate movements of the monkey became comical and playful that Gabriel''s instinctively followed it. The small monkey whose visual appearance looked rugged and rocky bitterly ran towards the opposite direction. In hopes of escaping from the sights of Gabriel. However, how could he compare to Gabriel who ran towards it in glee? Soon, the monkey was cornered and leaned in resignation on the wall. Gabriel''s expression flickered in delight and he grabbed the monkey by its head and ran towards the Cryogenic Stasis Craft. He placed the monkey near its door before continuing his mission of finding playmates. Several minutes later, Gabriel found three other monkeys and his fixation towards them, made the middle-aged man give a bitter smile as he floated before the exit of the Cryogenic Stasis Craft inside a semi-transparent screen. "Now, I will impart upon you the knowledge of Krav Maga, it is a lethal self-defense technique derived from all sorts of concepts such as boxing, aikido, judo, karate, and wrestling," A small smile lifted on the man''s lips as he spoke, Gabriel''s visage revealed his confusion, but he still listened and obediently sat on the ground with the disheveled monkeys. But not only that, it also encoded Muscle Memory so that utilizing Krav Maga would be the same as walking in your backyard." A proud smile lifted on his lips when he spoke these words to Gabriel. His finger lifted and tapped a button on the Cryogenic Stasis Craft as a shockwave spread out, the shockwave struck the monkeys and a crimson light streaked through their eyes. They roared and madly rushed at Gabriel''s figure. Witnessing the berserk monkeys, Gabriel''s survival instincts triggered and his bloodline rapidly spun, crackling sounds echoed inside his body as he evaded a monkey who grabbed towards his neck. As he sidestepped, his elbow bent and struck the monkey, squarely on its abdomen, sending it flying towards the skies. Another monkey approached him from behind. But Gabriel merely turned his body around and sent a kick on its torso. The force created an impact crater when it struck the ground as the monkey lost all signs of life. The fate of the two other monkeys was the same. With a small smile on his face along with his refreshing chuckle, he joyfully leaped around and dodged the attacks of the monkeys while at the same time, controlled his attacks so that the monkeys wouldn''t immediately die. Witnessing his son beating up the monkeys with a playful smile on his face. The middle-aged man gave a light chuckle and said, "As I thought, it seems like this son of mine is a monster above monsters..." Chapter 5: The Current World Life on Earth became different upon the arrival of the beasts that emerged from that Spatial Crack somewhere in the Middle East.
