 Chapter 1: The beginning of the mayhem.

    Lei Zhi suddenly jolted from his single bed in his humble rented house, his expression was a mix of confusion and surprise.


    Looking at his simple room, he calmed himself and slowly stood up from his bed, his head was hurting and he felt like he was drunk for two successive nights.

    But today was an exception, he suddenly fainted yesterday and had a long and vivid dream, he dreamt of a beautiful and cheerful boy , at first Lei zhi didn¡¯t know the young boy but he vaguely guessed that he must have a relationship with himself , the beautiful boy was living in an orphanage with many other children , there was a kind female old dean that treated them like a grandmother would treat her grandchildren full of care and affection.


    Then at some point a middle-aged man suddenly came, seeing the boy his eyes lit up instantly and he decided to adopt him, the middle-aged man appearance was steady and had a mysterious temperament that made him easily pleasing to the eye, the boy the reluctantly parted ways with the orphanage but he never thought of what experience he would make following the middle-aged man.


    The boy was mercilessly thrown in some shady camp in the middle of nowhere and from then on a hellish life began.


    Survival in harsh environment, melee combat training, cold weapons mastery, firearms mastery, mental hardening, killing people, learning medicine and even learning multiple foreign languages.

    Lei zhi quickly closed the door, fearing that what happened would attract other zombies, then observed the corpse, two words ¡­ugly and stinking.

    From the corpse something crept out, at first lei zhi was on his guard and rapidly retreated but then he was stunned, a bright blue shining liquid slowly came out of the body like a worm and accumulated to form a little sphere the size of a marble, it looked like a gem with some flickering light.


    Lei zhi grabbed some tissue and took it in his hand to examine it closely, surprisingly it wasn¡¯t hard but felt like jelly when touched, and contrary to the stinking touch it emanated a sweet smell, Lei zhi never smelled something this sweet, he even had the illusion that it would be delicious.


    ¡°what the fuck, how could I think of eating something coming from a corpse!¡±


    But it was like something possessed his body, every inch of his body was screaming like the little gem had a fatal attraction to him, his instinct was indicating to him that it was something valuable to his body.


    ¡°forget it lets keep it for the time being ¡°

    Two zombies already were in front of him salivating and ready for the treat, but what awaited them wasn¡¯t a feast but two black flashes, lei zhi swung his short blades horizontally successively, the movement was too fast and accurate that the zombies were still frozen in the air , then two heads fell simultaneously , without the slightest break Lei zhi then stepped on one of the headless corpses and taking advantage of the force he leapt in the air and gripping the blades vertically this time he penetrated the two back of the skulls killing the two others followed by rolling on the floor and climbing the stairs.


    The dozens of zombies continued to rush, how could they give up a sumptuous meal so easily, but some stumbled and fell because of the previous corpses on the floor but nonetheless at least more than half continued to chase.


    Lei zhi then stopped on top of the stairs, they were narrow and not wide so the zombies could only form a queue, taking advantage of the environment Lei zhi was like a harvester, every zombie that reached him got beheaded instantly, the corpses continued to accumulate on the stairs slowing the progress of the other zombies climbing.


    Lei zhi from start to finish was expressionless, he was ruthless, fast and decisive.


    His calmness and accuracy weren¡¯t a normal human could have, he was truly like a killing machine without emotions, the amount of effort and concentration needed was tremendous, but his moves continued to flow like water ending the lives of the remaining zombies, finally the last one succumbed and the two blades were put down.


    The stairs resembled now a purgatory, full of headless ugly corpses.


    Lei zhi stood there looking blankly, his cold expression faded but now he was puzzled, in the ten minutes that passed he was in a state of semi awareness, it was like his body had a conscience on its own.


    ¡°what¡­what just happened now?¡±


    Looking at the corpses Lei zhi finally shook his head, at least he was saved for now and the terrible situation finally came to an end.


    Suddenly he felt extremely weak and a dizziness swept him, with the help of the wall he crouched down, his muscles ached and felt sore.


    ¡°I should have known that my physical condition is still not able to hold extreme movements, fuck it hurts!¡±


    Glancing at the rotten zombies, he suddenly got curious if the liquid will emerge like previously inside his house.
