 Chapter 1: Fate

    It was early in the morning and the chirping of birds were complimenting the Morning breezes.


    People were busy preparing for their work, students for their schools while some were still enjoying their sleep.


    Somewhere in a large mansion of Reoul City, a beautiful girl who appeared to be in her twenties was in a Red frock, combed her long black hair. After that, she applied a red lipstick and exited her Palatial room with a small handbag.


    As she slipped outside her room, two shadows followed her from the darkness of the hallway till she reached an enormous gate.


    "Come in, my dear angel"


    Came a voice full of love as the door to the room opened. What greeted the girl was a man in a messy shirt. His tie was not tied properly and his eyes still had some sleep in them.


    "Papa, when will you learn to dress properly?" Said the girl with a pout as she walked towards her father.


    "Hehe, if I learned to dress then how will I enjoy your pampering?" replied the man with a laugh.


    The girl just sighed at her father''s response and said while looking at him from head to toe.


    "You need a shave! Wait here, I''ll get the razor, Let me shave you"


    "No no no...HELL NO! Stop going after my innocent beard again and again! Your mother use to love it"


    As the father rebuked, he and the girl both went silent for a couple second at the mention of her mother. Moments later, the girl silently went towards her father and started to make his tie. He could only sigh at her.


    "..Anyways, my beard adds an intimidating charm to my personality, don''t you think?"


    said the father with a laugh but immediately silenced himself after receiving a cold stare from his daughter which even made him sweat a little.


    "Anyways, You know what today is, right? It''s my birthday so as a gift from you, I ask you to please let me leave the Mansion without those bodyguards of yours."


    "WHAT? WHY? I thought we would spend your special day together! I even canceled my meetings¡­ and why are you even bothered by the bodyguards? They are trained to conceal their presence! No one will even notice them!"


    "I will stop speaking with you for a month if I sense even a shred of their presence around me!


    Do you know how creepy it is to know that some people are watching you every second of the day!" replied the girl as she tightened his tie, almost suffocating the man. She then adjusted the tie properly, tidied up his shirt, kissed her father''s cheeks and left the mansion.

    After she left, an old butler came to the man''s side with a briefcase on one hand. He put the briefcase on the table, opened it up, and took out a .500 Smith and Wesson Magnum.


    He cleaned it with a silk cloth, handed it to the man, and helped him put on a black coat. The man placed his gun in a hidden holster within his coat.


    His previous jolly expression while talking to his lovely daughter was now completely gone and was replaced with a face devoid of any emotions. He exited the room and was immediately followed by many people in black suits.


    An entourage of black cars was waiting for him in front of his Mansion and all of the people got inside their cars and soon left the place.


    As they left the main door, the nameplate on the side of the entrance could be read as "Shreya''s Villa".


    Not far from the villa, on a sidewalk, Shivani saw her father depart, and then turned around in the opposite direction and started walking away. She seemed to be in a good mood while she was strolling on the sidewalk. Her feet brought her in a mall where she spent her time shopping.

    In a different part of the world, a boy in his twenties was doing some martial arts training in a gloomy hall.


    His entire body was covered in sweat. After doing some more practice with a karambit knife, he took off his shirt and started to wipe his sweat. His entire muscular back was covered in scars of knife and bullet wounds, while a deep scar was etched on his chest, just above his heart.


    After he stopped his training, a man entered the hall looking around, which made the boy bow his head a little while saying.


    "Father"


    "How is your training going on?"


    "Pretty good, father! You want to spar?" replied the boy and grinned.


    Suddenly his father, took out a traditional katana out of nowhere and rushed towards him. It wiped off the smile from his lips as he stopped his father''s sword with his karambits on his hand.


    "When are you leaving?" His father asked as he continued to attack him.


    "In an hour. Don''t tell me that you are going to miss me old man." Said the boy with a laugh in response.


    "Shut your trap! Just focus on what you need to do and remember why you are going. Anyway, your passport and visa are both ready."


    After sparring some more, they both bowed towards each other and the boy left towards his room.


    He quickly bathed while shaving his face and wore a black jeans with a grey hoodie and left his room with a backpack.


    He saw his father waiting at the door. His father handed him some documents, after which the boy went in for a hug but the father stopped him and said


    "Remember Keanu, never let your emotions dictate your actions. This world is ruthless! Also, Don''t try to contact me as it will put us in grave danger.."


    "I know, father" the boy said as he lost his smile and quickly left the house.

    Some hours later, on The Reoul National Airport.


    Keanu''s plane landed. As he exited the plane and looked around the airport, a nostalgic feeling rose within him, contradicting the emotionless mask on his face, A sigh escaped from his mouth. He stood there for a few minutes observing everything in his view.


    After sometime, he started walking towards a metro station which was not very far from the airport.

    In an orphanage, Shivani was distributing the gifts she bought at the mall. She also donated a large sum of money for their education.


    "Hey kids, Big Sister here is leaving and nobody of you have thanked her for her generous gifts!" said a seemingly chubby woman while staring at the kids who were playing with there toys which were brought by Shivani.


    "Sorry Shivani dear, these ungrateful brats only care about their toys. Hmpf!"


    "Don''t worry Madam Beth, I don''t mind" replied Shivani sincerely.


    "Anyways, are you sure you want to donate all of this anonymously? You could at least tell me who you are?"


    Shivani just smiled at the woman''s question and exited the orphanage without saying anything else.


    ''Well looks like everything is done, Now I still have some hours before my dinner with father.'' thought Shivani as she too started walking towards a metro station.


    ---- In a dark valley not far from the metro station ----


    ''Sir, Young Miss is taking a Metro.''


    ''*What? Doesn''t she has her car?*''


    ''No Sir. She was using taxis this whole time. We already replaced all the drivers in the area and all the taxis she took had us as her drivers but now, she will be using a metro. So what do you want us to do?''


    ''*Aiiii¡­...shit! Well I understand that she doesn''t get to roam like this often and is curious about the world but she needs to understand how dangerous it is!*'' A sigh was heard from the other line. ¡­''*Okay, Do one thing. Position a few girls at every coming station and monitor her from the cctvs. When she exits at any station, keep following her but beware. Keep at least a 100 meters of distance from her! Got it?*''


    ''Yes Sir''

    As Keanu reached the metro station, he browsed the map which was displayed on the wall near the ticket counter. His eyes stopped at a certain place on the map. He didn''t had a metro card yet so he just asked for a ticket to "Fate Amusement Park" and started walking towards the waiting queue.


    While Keanu was waiting, Shivan too reached the metro station. After checking the map, she asked for a ticket to a certain place and started walking towards a queue for women while looking around the station curiously.


    Shivani and Keanu were both looking around and at some point, there eyes met. As the Metro arrived, people behind them started pushing the people forward, waking them from their stupor as they too struggled to get inside from different doors. As everyone settled, the doors closed.

 Chapter 2: The Nuns

    Keanu and Shivani were both in the same coach and as soon as he entered, he immediately found a seat and sat on it. It was pretty weird that a seat like that was left empty in a crowded metro but because of all the pushing and the fact that he was still lost in his thoughts, he didn''t paid too much attention to it. Within a minute, everyone settled and the doors closed.


    As Keanu was looking out the window, lost in thoughts, an angry voice of a lady woke him up from his trance!


    "Shameless Boy! Don''t you see this pregnant lady just standing in front of you while you are sitting on a seat reserved for elderly people and pregnant ladies? How can someone be this inconsiderate?"


    Keanu immediately looked around to find an innocent looking lady with a baby bump just standing in front of him while a woman standing with her was throwing insults at him. He immediately realized his mistake and got up from the seat but as he was about to apologise, more people joined in on the fun and started their angry parade.


    "Teens nowadays don''t know the meaning of respect!" said a man in an office suit.


    "Hmpf! This is all their parent''s fault. They just concentrate on making money and forget about disciplining their child." added a healthy woman in casual clothes.


    By now, almost everyone was hating Keanu and this attracted Shivani''s attention as she looked at a boy who was standing with his head down while people around him were passing their boring time by ganging up on him.


    From their talks, she made a mental image of Keanu as a person who was a male chauvinist and a potential womanizer. Not only that, people were still predicting of what he could be besides that and there was no sign of stopping.


    She couldn''t understand why the boy wasn''t apologizing and was instead just standing there with his head down towards the pregnant woman.


    And that pregnant woman was trying to calm the crowd. Why was she trying to help him?


    After some time had passed, the metro came to a stop and a mechanical voice sounded in the coach


    "We have arrived at The Fate Amusement Park".


    As soon as Keanu heard this announcement, he pushed his way through the door and as the door opened, quite a few people fell down because of him.


    He just ignored all this and smiled mischievously. He saw that the pregnant lady was also coming out of the coach, thankfully people made way for her and as she reached the station''s door, Keanu appeared in front of her and almost startled her.


    "Excuse me Ma''am! I am extremely sorry for not noticing you and sitting on your seat. I really didn''t notice you, and nor did I saw the sign above the seat."


    "Then you should''ve said that early on. People ruined your morning for nothing" replied the woman in a comforting tone.


    "You think they''d cared about the apology? Anyways,I was at fault so no worries. I''m sorry once again!" answered Keanu and bid his farewell to the lady.

    After Keanu entered the park, he immediately spotted a girl who was with him on the metro, Shivani. Considering the embarrassing situation he was in, he immediately turned around to avoid her and went to an ice cream stall.


    Shivani, on the other hand was roaming to and fro, looking at all the rides and people having fun without stopping to buy anything.


    ---- In a cabin of a Ferris Wheel ----


    Two man in gray suits were sitting and looking down towards the people when one of them suddenly took his phone out and called.


    "Sir, The daughter of Albert Noble is here at the amusement park!"


    "WHAT!? Who is with her? Has Noble himself came with her?" came an agitated and impatient voice from the other side.


    "No sir, but the entire amusement park is crawling with The Nuns!" Said the man in gray suit with a little trepidation.


    "Ah..The Nuns!! Okay, Noble rarely leaves his daughter''s side in public so this is a golden chance. Get your men ready and kidnap the girl, I will take care of the authorities. But keep two things very clear in your dumb head.


    First, Don''t harm the girl in any situation! Just knock her down and that''s it."


    "And second, sir?"


    "Second¡­.If the Nuns get the upper hand¡­.Just kill yourself! Remember, If you let them capture you, we will not only disown you, but we will kill every single person you know! From your childhood friends to your 7 year old daughter!"

    After the phone was disconnected, there was a silence for a minute before another phone call was made.

    Shivani reached the fate mountain and got lost in her memories of childhood when she came here with her mom. As she was slowly walking around the fountain, remnicing her past, suddenly a woman with a baby in her hand bumped into her.


    This seemed like a normal bump however Shivani''s pupils immediately dilated and she caught the woman''s hand and unexpectedly gave a furious roundhouse kick to the lady!


    Everything happened so fast that people around them were shocked out of there wits and just stood there without moving. The kick was so powerful that it instantly made the woman unconscious while her baby which was just sent flying from her hands, exploded!


    The explosion attracted the attention of everyone in the park, and suddenly quite a few women who were enjoying the rides, selling snacks, etc took out different kinds of guns and rushed towards Shivani and surrounded her.


    "Young Miss, are you okay?" Said one of the woman who helped her up.


    "That woman injected something in me¡­..I''m..I''m losing consciousness." Replied Shivani as her knees went weak and she fell down again.


    There was an apparent anger in the eyes of all the women who were surrounding their Young Miss but before they could do something, The brain of the woman who helped Shivani up was splattered on the ground and her headless body instantly fell on Shivani.


    "Arrrghghggh"...The crowd went crazy!


    A Stampede of people ensued. Keanu, who was in the ferris wheel, just above the cabin of those two men in gray suit, saw all this happening and cursed his luck for coming here..


    "I can''t run from here now that there is no one to stop this giant wheel. Just what is happening anyways? Someone from that building sniped that woman? Why are they surrounding that girl? If she is that important then why let her use a metro? Something is.."


    As Keanu was thinking about the situation he was in, he saw four mini vans burst through the gates of the amusement park from which quite a few men stepped out.


    The women who were protecting Shivani took cover behind some fast food stalls and started open firing at the men who had just arrived.


    "Just a little more, within a minute the tranquilizers will take effect" Said a men who took cover behind his van.


    "Sir, we could just surround them and kill them! Why do we have to wait?" Asked a young guy who was also taking cover with his boss from the open fire.


    "You idiot! Those are The Nuns! There is a saying in our world¡­.It''s better to face The Devil than to face The Nuns. You don''t want to fuck with them! Just wait a minute and they will lose their consciousness from the gas released by that decoy baby." Explained The boss to his new employee who was suggesting him stupid ideas.


    The Nuns, on the other hand were having difficulty keeping their eyes open.


    "Just a couple more minutes and Sir will arrive with the militia! Just a couple¡­.more MINUTES!"


    While Keanu was watching all this, he saw Shivani laying beside one of The Nuns. He saw that she was staring towards his cabin.


    "Has she fainted with her eyes open?.....It''s...It''s none of my business...I should hide and wait for all this to get over¡­..Yeah¡­..Just calm down Keanu, this will be over soon....but wait..Where are the cops? This city is seriously messed up!....uff..Let''s calm down and observe! There are about forty of those men and twenty of those women. Someone is also scanning the area with a sniper. My chances of saving that girl are¡­.No, why am I thinking of getting myself in trouble?...She is....She is directly staring at me...Why is she staring at me?"


    Not a long time had passed and one of the Nuns who was about to faint, took out an injection which read "70% Pure Adrenaline" and stabbed it straight in her heart!


    After doing so, her eyes turned scarlet as she got out from her cover with incredible speed and flexibility and directly shot the fuel tank of one of the vans, exploding it to smithereen with all the people around it.


    ---- In a conference room ----


    Albert Noble, Shivani''s father was sitting in a meeting with many people when suddenly his phone started ringing.


    Everyone stopped talking as it happened, and Noble, glancing at the caller ID, quickly took the call.


    Not even five seconds had passed and he slammed his phone so hard on the conference table, that the entire ten meter long glass table, shattered! The glasses went flying in the conference room scaring everyone, but Noble, ignoring all this and his hand which was bleeding profusely, dashed out of the room.

 Chapter 3: A Job

    Almost 5 - 6 people died from the explosion.


    She didn''t stop for a second as she knew that she was in an overdrive mode so instead she started slaughtering people while taking some damage herself when suddenly another sniper bullet came and her head too was blown away.


    Keanu this time knew exactly from where the bullet came from and spotted the sniper in the 18th floor of an under construction building.


    Suddenly, due to al the bullet fire from both sides, one bullet got ricochet into the electric terminal and short circuited it, stopping his cabin at the very top of the ferris wheel.


    He looked towards Shivani again and then towards the women whose headless body was on the ground.


    "Fuck It! I won''t get involved directly in the crossfire." thought Keanu as he opened his cabin gate and started to make his way towards the ground with incredible precision. He very swiftly landed on the ground, and due to all the gun firing, nobody noticed him, but on the other hand he himself noticed two men in gray suits who were watching all this with a smile.


    After coming down, Keanu sneakily made his way towards the building while avoiding every human eye and the cameras which were on roads and neighboring buildings.


    He soon saw a man with sniper rifle, pointing towards the amusement park and had all his attention on getting a shot at the remaining Nuns.

    "Just another minute, and Sir should be here!" said a Nun whose knees were already too weak to stand steadily.


    The systems of all of them were shutting down and realizing this, almost all of them took out an adrenaline shot, ready to inject.


    "Young Miss, Don''t worry, we will protect you till our last breath." Said the Nun which was standing near Shivani and she too took out the Adrenaline shot when suddenly the firing stopped.


    "SIr is here!" they thought and slid there head out to see but what they saw surprised them!


    The heads of all the goons which were firing at them started to burst in similar fashion as to the last two nuns.


    Within seven seconds, seven rounds were fired and all those seven rounds took the life of seven men.


    The remaining men were panic-stricken and started running towards different covers.


    "Shit! a Nun must''ve slipped with the crowd and killed our sniper! This can''t get any worse!"

    As he shifted his gaze, his eyes almost popped out of his sockets as he saw as much as 20 military vehicles coming his way.


    Within seconds, the vehicles were in front of the amusement park and as he saw uncountable numbers of militia coming his way, he bit something in his mouth and fell on the ground with a *plop*.


    "SHIVANI!" cried Albert as he jumped out of the car and dashed straight into the amusement park while searching for his daughter.


    A Nun waved her hand towards Albert who then rushed to her daughter''s side while the militia secured the parameters and some doctors came with some stretchers and started doing some emergency procedures on Shivani and The Nuns.

    In a cabin of the ferris wheel, two people in gray suits were lying on the floor, keeping their head down, hoping to god that Albert won''t notice them.


    One of them wasn''t even breathing properly and the terror of Noble was apparent on their faces.


    Shivani and the others were taken in their military ambulances and Noble was giving the orders to sweep the area, take all the possessions of the perpetrators and the likes when suddenly, a bullet out of nowhere came and struck the lever which was connecting a cabin to the ferris wheel.


    As soon as it happened, everyone got behind covers and looked towards the building from which the shot came, but then suddenly two agonizing screams came from the cabin which struck heavily on the ground.


    Some heavily armored soldiers went towards the cabin and lifted it up to find two men who were bleeding from different places and looking at them, some of the men with noble immediately recognized them as some local goons.


    "Sack them up and take them, also go in that building and find that person with the sniper rifle.


    I am going with my daughter but you stay here and find all the evidence you can."


    "Yes sir!.....sir, I think you might have a hairline fracture on your hand. Can you please let us treat you?"


    "I''ll get it checked after I get my daughter out of this hell hole. You just go and follow the order, got it?"


    "Yes Sir!"


    After giving them orders, Noble got in Shivani''s ambulance and went to his villa while a group of 10 soldiers started coming towards the building Keanu was in.


    All the soldiers were heavily armored and there was almost no weak spot on their tactical suit.


    After searching every floor carefully, they reached a floor where they found a sniper rifle with a dead body.


    They searched everywhere thoroughly to no avail and just collected all the cctv recording in the area, and obviously the two men who fell from the ferris wheel.

    At Shreya''s Villa, Albert was sitting by his daughter''s side who was still under the effect of the tranquilizers. His right hand was bandaged when a woman in a Nun''s clothing knocked on his door.


    "Sir, Let the Young miss rest. There are people outside waiting to see you."


    "Hmm¡­.Tell them that I won''t be meeting anyone today. Also send Wook inside."


    After receiving her orders, The Nun exited the room and after some time, a man in black suit came by Albert''s side.


    "Sir, This is a very advanced rifle! Even the remaining bullets that we acquired were Armor-Piercing. There is no way that those thugs can get there hands on anything like that. Also, the guy who shot down that cabin was nowhere to be seen in any of the recordings! He is well trained but we don''t think that he was with the kidnappers as he could''ve easily assassinated you from that position. The dead body we found near the rifle had the mark of an underground contract organization but we are yet to find which one it is."


    The guy called Wook started giving his report and after almost half an hour, he completed notifying his findings.


    Albert looked at his daughter and then exited the room followed by wook, after which he started walking towards the basement of the villa.


    "Arrtgghghghghhh¡­..Sor..ry..aagghrr"


    Two very agonizing wails were coming from the basement and as Albert entered, he saw two naked men, chained to the ceiling while trickles of blood were falling from there bodies to a puddle of blood just beneath them.


    "Keep them alive with blood transfusion...Have they said anything?"


    Asked Albert while taking a hold of a pair of pliers.

    In a rundown apartment with only one small room, Keanu was sitting on the only chair in the room as he kept thinking about the girl he just saved today.


    For some reason, he was not able to forget her eyes.


    "Ah...That was a dangerous situation. Why did I helped them? Help like these always comes back to bite. ahhh...Shit! Anyways, I didn''t left any evidence of me being there and the only person who saw me was probably the girl and she was also under the influence of the drug so she shouldn''t remember me."


    Keanu comforted himself a little more after which he took out a recommendation letter his father gave him and said to himself while looking at it.


    "I''ll just go and apply for this job tomorrow"
