《Warrior in a World of Mages》 Chapter 1 - "Trash" of the Abaddon Family Felix opened his eyes as he heard his alarm clock go off, rubbing his eyes as he stood up and turned his alarm off. He stood up and moved his long-ish blonde hair out of his eyes and slicked it backward, he then walked towards the bathroom in his house. After brushing his teeth and washing his face, Felix looked at himself in the mirror. His 6"5 stature which was filled to the brim with muscles, gave him an imposing aura and told those who saw him that he held inhuman amounts of power. His muscles were neither too bulky nor too lean, giving off a vibe of the perfect balance between strength and speed. Even though he looked at his perfect body, Felix couldn''t help but look at it in disdain. ''Even with all my strength, I can''t match up to Mages. I''m so weak.'' This was all Felix could think when he saw his body; His weakness. Felix lived in a world full of Mages, they were the pinnacle of power of his world. They had the power to manipulate the forces of nature, whether it be fire, water, air or earth, all were mere playthings for a Mage. Even the weakest of spells could eviscerate a normal civilian. Their only weakness is their weaker than average bodies due to Mana Muscle Atrophy. Felix Abbadon was part of the Abbadon Clan, a clan of Mages who were one of the Top 5 Clans in their country. But alas, he was nothing but a cripple, seen as trash by the family, born without Mana Veins or a Mana Core. But he wasn''t without advantages. Felix had vastly superior physical prowess compared to even seasoned warriors of the sword, the people charged with protecting Mages on the Battlefield. Even at the young age of 6, he could overpower a few men at the same time without much effort. Now that he was 16, he could only be described as beyond human limits in terms of his physical prowess. But no matter his strength he could not break a Mages Barrier magic, no matter his speed he could not match Haste Magic, and even with his inhuman ability to take hits and heal he could not take a spell head on. Every day he was reminded of his weakness when he saw his Father''s brow full of lines and his Mother''s worn out eyes. He never showed it to his parents but he was sick of it all. The weakness he felt, the sadness he felt from his parents'' dismay and worst of all how little he meant to the whole clan. But a beacon of light shines brightest when the night is at it''s darkest. His parents had a child when he was 7, a girl, and she was an incredibly talented Mage. She grew up quicker than others and didn''t have a weak body. On the contrary, she had an above average human body but not to the same inhuman level as Felix. Her name was Sasha. She was humble, loving and kind. She also tried to protect Felix from the beatings he''d get from the other young masters of the clan, she admired her brother''s immense physical abilities, unlike the rest of the clan who disdained him for it. By the time Felix was 16, she looked like a 14-year-old teenage girl, despite being only 9 years old. She was something that kept Felix going, he wished to be her defender on the Battlefield, protecting her from all those who wished her harm. To finalize this, Felix had to go see their Father, the Primarch of the Clan, to have it set in stone, this was the reason he got up so early. Felix put on a formal suit, a black suit with a white shirt and a thin black tie. After putting on some black dress shoes, he set off for where he planned to meet his sister. The reason they didn''t meet at his house was that he, by order of the Council of the Clan, lived on his own. Apparently, they didn''t want him distracting his sister with his "ignorant" ways of improving his body''s strength, even if it would benefit her survivability. He did a light jog, that would put the top athlete''s speed to shame, towards the area he had to go to and got there in no time without breaking even a little bit of a sweat. When he arrived there, he saw a crowd had gathered, so big that even with his height he couldn''t see over the crowd. In the end, he pushed his way through the crowd, with ease, out of worry that his sister had gotten into another fight over him. When he pushed his way to the front of the crowd, what he saw caused him to stop as if he''d frozen in place. "Hmph! Why do you keep trying to defend that trash? He''s only your Brother, you don''t need him." A high-pitched, nearing on shrill, voice screamed at his sister who was lying on the floor, blood pouring out of her mouth. The voice was a young master from another clan, the Azrael Clan, his name was Dante. He was 15 and was seen as a once in a century kind of Genius who was only matched by a few people in his Generation. The Abaddon Clan and the Azrael Clan wished to unite, so they were planning multiple marriages, one of them being a marriage between Sasha and Dante. Sasha, however, adamantly refused this marriage proposal, solely on the fact that Dante spared no expense when it came to humiliating Felix and Sasha was livid with the fact that Dante thought she''d be okay with marrying such a man. Dante came here today to convince her about the marriage proposal but as he''s a spoiled brat and she denied him instantly because she was meeting her Brother, Dante flipped out and attack her. A fight ensued this and the two of them fought quite viciously. But even if she was a highly talented Mage, she was much younger than the equally talented Dante, so before long, Dante had beaten her. But the fact was that he kept beating her in whichever way he could. He slapped her, kicked her, spat on her and even threw weak fireball and waterball spells at her. By the time Felix got here, she looked nothing like the talented and beautiful Mage everyone knew but more like a homeless beggar. Sasha looked up and saw Felix, her eyes going wide and signaling for him to run away and hide but Felix stood there as a wrath he''d never felt before crept out of his bones and into his body. He started walking towards them. Soon after Felix started walking, Dante heard his footsteps and looked to see who it was. When he saw that it was Felix, he was overjoyed.Help support creative writers by finding and reading their stories on the original site. "Ohohoh I get to take down two birds with one stone! What''s up trash? Are you angry with me because of this?" Dante''s shrill voice grated against everyone''s ears, but no one dared tell him to shut up in fear of him obliterating them. Felix just kept quiet as he kept walking forward, soon he was in front of Dante. Sasha struggled to open her mouth and speak "Big...bro...run away..." her voice was hoarse and weak but her desperation was clearly seen by Felix who felt a pang of pain in his heart. To everyone''s surprise, Felix walked right past Dante and picked up Sasha off the ground. Dante was surprised for a second before rage appeared on his face "How dare you ignore me! Trash!" Dante stood in Felix''s path back to where he came. Felix reached to his sisters pocket on her jacket and pulled out a necklace and crushed it. A signal shot into the sky and instantly a lady shot to where they were. As soon as she landed, Felix shot towards her at unreal speeds, making everyone think he was using Haste Magic. But he wasn''t, this was just his pure muscular strength transferred into explosive power. The lady rushed to Felix and Sasha but Felix appeared in front of her, surprising her. The lady was their Mom, Charlotte, the Wife of the Primarch. She was shocked when she saw the state of her daughter and looked to Felix for an explanation but was shocked by what she saw. His usual emotionless face was full of fury, wrath, and hatred. When he was around her and his sister, he usually showed a gentle smile but that wasn''t there anymore, what replaced it was a snarling expression as if he wasn''t a human but instead a rabid beast. Felix quickly handed Sasha to his Mom and turned around to face Dante but he was stopped by a tug on his suit. His snarling expression disappeared along with the fury and the hatred, his gentle expression was back as he turned around and looked at his sister. His Mom had healed her enough to speak so she spoke to her Brother before he did something stupid. "Big bro, please just leave it, you can''t beat him! Just please let the Elders deal with this!" her voice seeped with sadness and worry at what her brother was about to do. "If I can''t get payback for you now, I honestly don''t deserve to be your Big Brother, neither do I get the right to protect you in the future." He wiped the tears that were pouring incessantly out of his sister''s eyes as he showed her a gentle, reassuring smile. "Just remember this okay. I''ll always protect you, now and forever." "I refuse to allow you to do this Felix, let me take him in for punishment!" his Mother''s voice was dripping with worry as she looked at her two children. One talented beyond what was believed possible and one filled with so much determination, he could surpass anything, regardless of the lack of advantages for this world he has. Felix looked at his Mom with a gentle look. "Mother, I''ve got to do this, for both myself and for my Little Sister. No one gets to do this and get away. Plus, it''s a fight between the younger generation, you can''t do anything, Mom." After saying this he gave his sister a pat on the head and turned around as his gentle expression was shredded and replaced with his earlier expression of a snarl filled with wrath and hatred. ''Dante has crossed me for the last time! He''s humiliated me all my life, mocked me as trash but this! This time he''s gone too far! He will pay the ultimate price for what he has done to my sister!'' Usually, Felix''s 6"5 stature''s imposing air was suppressed by his humble attitude and he usually slumped about but now, he fully stood up, he seemed like a giant among men. As he walked forward, his upper suit ripped itself apart as his muscle flexed to their max. He kicked his shoes off, liking his bare feet more than dress shoes when it comes to combat. Felix seemed like some kind of prehistoric beast as he worked towards Dante, giving off a pressure to those surrounding them. ''I''m done holding back! I''m done not doing what I want! I''m done being a weak coward!'' The surrounding crowd backed off as they looked at the furious Felix, even Dante seemed a bit worried. He''d never seen the so-called Trash get this angry and seem this powerful. "Haha! You think you can scare me, trash?!" before Dante could do anymore mocking, Felix disappeared from where he was, appearing in front of Dante. Fury flooded his blood, making it boil, feeding his body the energy to ignore its limits and surpass them as he threw a fist at Dante who hastily made a barrier in front of him. As Felix''s fist collided with the barrier, a massive boom of sound shook every one of the surrounding Mages ears. Dante looked at Felix in disdain but before he could say anything, he heard a deathly sound. *Crack!* Minute little cracks were spreading from where Felix hit the barrier, causing a round of gasps from those watching in the crowd. Everyone was shocked by Felix''s power, especially his Mom and Sister, but unlike the others, they were also incredibly happy that he had some margin of power now. Dante went pale and cast Haste Magic on himself as he sped backward. When he looked at Felix again, he realized he was still powering up. Steam billowed off of Felix''s skin due to the heat in his body and red lines spanned across his power, following where his veins were, thrumming with his heartbeat. It was at this moment that everyone didn''t associate Felix with a human anymore, he was more like a Demon Beast if anything. Felix''s blood red irises shone with bloodlust as he charged towards Dante at an even faster speed than before. Dante wasn''t willing to be left behind, so after he put up a vastly stronger barrier than before, he hurtled fireballs in Felix''s direction. Felix easily dodged the fireballs but that was according to Dante''s plan. One stray fireball was being consciously controlled by Dante in wait for an opening and he''d found it. Even if Dante was a brat, he was an unimaginably talented mage and also a very smart guy when he really tried. So he''d got Felix right where he wanted him. The fireball shot towards Felix who couldn''t see it and it hit and exploded with a massive boom. Sasha screamed as she saw it and tears poured out of her eyes; she despised seeing her brother get hurt. But surprisingly, Felix was relatively fine. He was slightly burnt but he was still running at Dante''s barrier. It seemed that the fireball only pissed him off further. As he got to the barrier he kept slamming his fists into it at a rapid speed, the strength behind each punch seeming to keep on building with each one. Crack after crack kept appearing on the barrier and Dante had been backed into a corner as a building was behind him, so while Felix was punching the barrier down, he decided to charge an attack with his strongest element. A small blue ball of fire appeared in front of Dante as he channeled all his mana into it, sending out an aura of power and a wave of heat. Felix cared not for the attack that Dante was preparing, he''d already gone full-berserk mode as he kept hitting, kicking and slamming the barrier with everything he could and then some. Right now, the steam was gone from Felix''s body, but the red lines were getting brighter and brighter and thrumming faster and faster, just as his heart start beating faster and faster. His body grew a bit bigger, about an inch in height and his body changed to make itself proportionate to the height. Suddenly, with the burst a power he felt, the same power that made him bigger, Felix grounded himself, spread his feet apart and slammed his fist into the center of the barrier shattering it. Dante was shocked pale as he saw his barrier shatter before his final attack was finished. Dante tried to throw the unfinished fireball at Felix but Felix disappeared from his sight and then Dante felt pain in both in legs. "AHHHRGHHH!" Dante screamed as he crumbled to the ground but he was caught by Felix who lifted him like he weighed nothing. Felix grabbed and then broke Dante''s arms one after another, causing Dante to twitch and convulse in pain as froth started coming out of his mouth. Felix then lifted Dante above his head and planned to slam his spine down on his knee but a mysterious force stopped him and took Dante from his grip. "What are you doing you savage beast!? This child is an esteemed guest here!" an old man walked out of the crowd. He wore a white suit and had white hair and a white beard. He had an angry expression on his face as he waved his hand and threw Felix into a wall and kept him there in a crucifix-style position. "You don''t know what you''ve done, you trash!" Said another man, who''s appearance reminded everyone near of Dante. And that was because it was Dante''s Father, Virgil Azrael. Chapter 2 - Banished to the Demonic Lands Virgil Azrael walked up to Felix who was buried in the wall. *Slap!* Virgil cast Haste Magic on his arm and slapped Felix at incredibly high speeds. Felix didn''t seem to feel any of the slaps as blackness crept over his white sclera, contrasting quite well with his blood red irises. Seeing his slaps had no effect other than pissing Felix off even further, Virgil stopped slapping and instead spit on Felix''s face. "Goddamn trash, who do you think you are hurting my son!?". Unlike his son, Virgil''s strongest element was Earth, so he used that advantage and started molding the building wall Felix was in and made a suit of rock around Felix''s body, only leaving his head without ''armor''. Felix kept thrashing around with unbelievable amounts of fervor, he seemed to have truly lost his mind as he kept roaring and growling at everyone present. The man in the white suit, Tyr, was the head of the Council of the Clan and he had always shown a near unlimited amount of disdain for Felix, always claiming that Felix was nothing but a stupid and barbaric beast. Now he had proof. "Haha! What did I say? He''s nothing but a beast. We will have him killed at once. If you could do the honors, Virgil." Tyr''s voice was filled with glee and self-righteousness as he motioned for Virgil to kill Felix. Virgil, not wanting to give up the chance to kill the person who hurt his son, made a fist with his outstretched hand. The Earthen Armor on Felix started slowly contracting inwards and crushing him. "ARGGHHHHHH!" Felix roared out as his thrashing increase in power and intensity. His mother rushed over with a dark expression on her face. "Unhand my son. Now." The air around her billowed as if following the orders of it''s Queen, it started lightly spinning, with her at the center, but the pressure it placed on Tyr and Virgil was nothing to scoff at, they could both feel the power of mana thrumming in the wind surrounding them, like a prison of air. "Miss Charlotte, your son has crippled an esteemed guest of our clan. According to the rules, he should be killed!" Tyr hurriedly said with an expression of fear on his face. "Hmph! This so-called esteemed guest humiliated my Daughter in public, Felix was just protecting his sister!" She spoke with a wrath only a mother could conjure. It spoke of promises of death and pain to whoever would hurt her children. The wind''s spinning speed was picking up and it pushed back all the normal people watching the fiasco. Tyr and Virgil could tell that Charlotte was preparing to fight them both. Virgil looked at her with a vicious glint in his eyes. "She is to be his bride anyway, what does it matter if Dante does something to his wife?! It''s your stupid beast of a son who''s the problem!" with saying this, Virgil started crushing Felix even faster. Felix was no longer roaring but the expression on his face was getting more and more twisted with wrath and hatred, his teeth looked like they were getting closer and closer to fangs as he snarled. He pushed his body to the max as he tried to break the rock prison he was in, he could feel his bones cracking and his muscles tearing but he pushed on. "When my son marries your sister, I assure you that he will torment her every day. Die, die knowing that you couldn''t protect your sister." Virgil''s face was twisted in sadistic glee as he got close enough to whisper into Felix''s ear. ''Power. Power. Power. Power. POWER. POWER. I NEED POWER!'' Felix kept repeating this mentally as his eyes changed further. His pupils became slits, red crack-like lines spread across his black sclera and his Blood Red Irises shone with even more fervor looking like pools of blood. Deep down in his body, Felix felt a wisp of something. It reminded him of what people described Mana to be like but this was different. Unlike Mana which was described as warm and gentle, this energy was boiling hot and ferocious, like a wisp of magma. Felix used his mind to control the wisp, finding that it was incredibly compliable with his orders and directed it to where he instinctively felt was best; His Heart. When the wisp got to his heart, the roar of a Dragon could be heard by Felix and him alone, it seemed to be roaring in indignation, with wrath that shook the Earth and Hatred that flood it. The roar seemed to kickstart something in Felix. His heart went into overtime, pumping at speeds which would instantly kill others and pumping mass amounts of blood filled with little bits of the wisp of energy. Suddenly, Felix felt like he''d been pumped with gallons of adrenaline, his muscles full of power, his bones indestructible and his blood like magma. He flexed his right arm and broke the rock surrounding it before Virgil could react, and then Felix thrust his hand at the man''s neck holding him like a sack of potatoes. "Fuck.You." Felix''s voice was hoarse and rumbled like the growl of an ancient beast. He threw Virgil into the ground towards Tyr who looked at Felix in horror and shock. Virgil went into the ground but kept traveling towards Tyr, leaving a tract of broken tiles in his wake.Unauthorized usage: this tale is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. Felix broke the rest of the Earthen Armor and walked to his sister and mother''s side. Both of them looked at him in awe with a little bit of fear; they didn''t know whether he''d gone fully berserk or not. But the fear was washed away when they saw the gentle smile on his face. Even if it did showcase his sharp canines, they could feel the love in his eyes and instantly knew that he would never hurt them. When he got in front of them, he collapsed onto one knee and coughed up some blood; he''d sustained internal damage from the rock armor. His Mother and Sister clambered to him and held him up, slightly struggling under his massive weight from his size. Tyr was shaking, whether it was in fear or anger, no one knew. But he pulled out a medal from his pocket and crushed it. Suddenly many black shadows appeared around where Felix was being held up. Seeing this, Felix stood up with strength he didn''t know he had and growled at the shadows while putting his sister and mother behind his back, protecting them from any harm that would come. The shadows were the elite mage soldiers of the Abaddon Clan, the Destroyers. All of them backed one hell of a punch on their own, let alone when there were 15 of them surrounding someone. When Tyr was about to order them to attack and kill Felix, a thundering voice shouted to all those present. "I hereby banish Felix Abaddon to the Demonic Lands for crimes against the clan, I use my power as the Primarch of the clan to do this without counseling from the Head Advisor, Tyr. No one is to approach Felix Abaddon or speak his name in the clan, ever again." A man at around 5"11 with blonde hair and blue eyes walked to where Felix was. This was his Father, Markus, the Primarch of the Clan. Sasha, looked at her brother in despair as she heard what their Father said. she struggled to stand up and say something but Felix but a hand on her shoulder signaling for her to stay down. "May I go and get a bag for my things, Primarch?" Felix''s tired and worn out voice echoed out in the field of people. His Father nodded his head slowly as he walked to his wife and daughter. Felix walked away from his crying sister and red-eyed mother and past his slightly shaking Father, he himself was feeling quite forlorn at this entire situation but he soon shrugged it off as he remembered something important; He''d found a way to get stronger. He could still feel the wisp of energy in his heart and it was slowly but surely getting bigger and denser. He would be back, and then he''d be able to see his family again. He just needed to be stronger than everyone else. Suddenly he felt a pair of lithe arms wrap around him with the strength to crush a normal man. "I won''t allow you to leave! Never!" Tears were pouring out of Sasha''s eyes like an unending fountain, her expression was one of pure sadness and worry. "Sasha, I promised that I''d be your protector, didn''t I?" Sasha nodded "Then that''s that. I''ll be back once I''m strong enough." He spoke with a gentle smile that disassociated him and the snarling beast from before. But even after saying that, Sasha didn''t let go, so Felix shuffled around and hugged her back. Sasha fully broke down after this, she crumbled down as her grip on Felix got stronger and stronger. "I''m sorry Sasha..." after saying this, Felix quickly hit her on the back of the neck and knocked her out. He knew how stubborn and tenacious his little sister could be, so this was the only way to make her let go. He picked her up and passed her to their Father. "Felix, a carriage will take you to the entrance of the Demonic Lands. Goodbye." After saying that, Markus turned away, the shaking from earlier even worse. Felix knew the pain his father was undergoing, he had to put the clan before his own son. The emotionally pain was most likely crippling. Felix turned around and walked back to his room. But this time, he walked with a confident gait and his head held high, like he was the natural apex predator of this area of the world. People parted out of his way, in both fear and awe as he walked. Once he was out of the crowd, he jogged back to his house. Tyr watched Felix run away and felt unease in his heart; he knew he''d pay for this. Especially when he saw Markus and Charlottes barely hidden fury when they looked at him. Felix soon got home and packed up some books and encyclopedias that he thought were useful, most of them being about medicine and dangerous stuff in the Demonic Lands. On the way out he decided to put a few big bottles of water into his bag along with some rations. While he was at it, he ate and drank as much as he could before leaving. The carriage was outside his house when he left, so he just got in it. It was an hour-long ride to the Demonic Lands, so he decided to use his medical knowledge to see how hurt he was. One of Felix''s hobbies other than exercising his body was to read books, mainly medical oriented books. Mainly so he could avoid injury when he was training and so he could know weak spots on his enemies, also because nobody really looked out for him apart from his parents and sister, so he had to mend himself when he was hurt because the 3 of them were usually busy. Felix finished his self-diagnosis and knew how hurt he was: Both arms were fractured in multiple places, same with the legs. 2 of his ribs were broken and 3 were fractured, he still had some nasty burns from when Dante''s fireball hit him. He had some internal bleeding as well but the wisp of energy had mainly healed that. Felix didn''t worry about his injuries, mainly because his self-recovery speed was insanely high and he could heal from almost any attack that wasn''t incredibly life-threatening. Felix lay down in the carriage and went to sleep, he figured that he could use this time to rest and recover some. He woke up an hour later from a bang on the door, he rubbed his head as he remembered a weird dream he was having but it soon went blurry and Felix was unable to remember it. After he got out of the carriage, he was surprised to see that his bones were all healed back to full strength again. He quickly attributed it to the mysterious energy in his heart and stopped thinking about it. He put his bag on his back and looked at the forest in front of him. The trees were all black with red leaves like the trees had been charred and it was August time. They were also incredibly tall like they''d been alive for innumerable years. Felix took a deep breath in, smelling what his new home was like and despite his situation and the danger of the Demonic Lands, he was excited. He would get stronger here, he would become the apex here and then, then it was the rest of the world. Felix walked into the forest with a confident smirk on his face; this marked the start of something special. Chapter 3 - Life in the Demonic Lands and Meeting some Strange Characters~ Deep within the Demonic Lands, a fight could be heard. Massive booms echoed throughout the forest as the trees and ground shook until suddenly a 4-meter tall bear was thrown through a few trees before crashing into the ground. As the Bear looked in the direction it was thrown from, it whimpered in fear at the monster it''d been fighting. "HAHAHAHA!" A booming voice echoed out as a giant figure stepped onto the trunk of the broken tree. The figure was 7ft tall, full of muscle that gave off a tyrannical and domineering feeling like it belonged to a primordial beast. His body was full of red vein-like lines that seemed to thrum in a calm but powerful manner. His hair was white and went down his shoulder and on to his back and his red eyes seemed more like a pool of blood than actual eyes. His sclera was black with red crack-like lines running through them. This Gigantic Human was Felix and he''d been in the Demonic Lands for 4 months, fighting and getting stronger. The first few weeks for troublesome because Felix could feel two unfathomably strong creatures watching him constantly but when they hadn''t attacked him at all, he finally let his tense attitude go and got to getting stronger. This proved to show Felix new problems. Such as fighting beasts physically stronger than him but after defeating his first Demon Beast and eating it, he found that his physical prowess increased drastically. After 3 months of fighting and eating Demon Beasts, he''d grown vastly stronger physically. To the point that he could easily break through Dante''s mage barrier. The Mysterious energy in his heart had grown from a single wisp into dozens of dense and pure wisps of energy. Felix walked towards the whimpering bear with a ferocious gait and put his foot on the bears head. This bear was the leader of this part of the forest, it''d been Felix''s goal to beat it in combat and eat it since he knew about its existence. *CRUNCH!* Putting some force into his foot, Felix crushed the bear''s head and pulled out a bone knife he''d made. He then proceeded to skin the bear so he could get all the meat that was beneficial to him. While he was doing this, he felt the two creatures watching him again but as usual, he ignored them and carried on with his business. POV Change - Unknown A pair of gigantic beast was watching a barbaric looking human skinning a bear and storing its flesh in a bag on it''s back. One of the beasts was a giant tiger. It had white fur with red stripes on it and red eyes. It looked lithe and beautiful but in a dangerous, predatory way. It seemed to be smiling as it looked at the thing it regarded as a young demon, it''s long and sharp teeth glittering like the whitest of jade. "Unbelievable. A young demon like him only took 3-4 months to take over the outskirts of the Demonic Forest. What do you say, Sister Yui, do we take him as our disciple?" the Tiger''s voice was incredibly different to its appearance as a giant killing machine, the voice was mature and smooth like velvet. Like a mature beauty had spoken and not a giant demon tiger. The other creature was a Dragon, with white scales and red, slit eyes. Unlike the tiger, it was quite robust, having majestic muscle filling its entire body and giving off a feeling of power. All four of its limbs ended in five red claws which looked like 5 unmatched blades. "Hmmm, I think we should, Sister Mei. He has traces of two bloodlines similar to ours in purity and origin. He would make a brilliant test subject to see if we can combine our Demon Arts to make the perfect Demon." the Dragon''s voice sounded more valiant than the Tiger''s like she was a female knight who would battle against anything with a fearless attitude. These two demon beasts were from the very inner part of the Demon forest, where only the strong can hope to barely survive. And these two ''women'' were at the very apex of the pecking order there, so one could only imagine their power. The Demonic Lands were split into 3 different lands; The Forest, The Mountain, and The Lake. The Forest was where Demon Beasts resided, The Mountains were where Monsters like Trolls, Orcs, and Ogre''s lived and The Lake was where water-based Demon Beasts and Monsters lived. Each of these places had 4 zones of power, each leagues above the other in power. From weakest to strongest, the zones were Edge, Outskirts, Middle Grounds and Inner. The only differences for The Mountain and The Lake were that the Inner was referred to as The Peak and The Deep respectively for each. The two giant beasts were known as the Sisters of the Hegemony as they were considered the peak and only had each other to fight because everyone else was too weak. It was also a fitting name because one was a Divine Tiger and the other a Dragon. The one referred to as Sister Yui, walked towards the barbaric boy who was obviously Felix and spoke. POV Change - Felix "BOY!~" Felix nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard the booming voice full of power and dominance. He jumped away from the bear and tucked his bone knife in his bag as he got into a defensive position to go up against any attack thrown at him. Felix could hear some giggling in the background as he started pumping as much of the energy in his heart as his body could handle. An aura of desolation spread out from him, flooding the area with a feeling of supremacy and ferociousness. The giggling stopped as the figures showed themselves, nearly causing Felix to collapse in fear. He saw the massive forms of the two sisters; a massive Dragon and a Gigantic Tiger, both full of power and majesty. This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings. "We are not here to harm you, boy, but instead we are here to offer to teach you the Way of the Demon." The Dragon spoke again but this time in a softer voice. Felix relaxed slightly but was incredibly wary still, as he didn''t know whether this was an elaborate plot or something. "Haha! Sister Yui, ease up on the pressure, you''re scaring our poor disciple!" The Tiger seemed to reprimand the Dragon by sticking its tongue out. Felix was getting more and more shocked because their voices sounded like that of some impeccable beauties. "W-why would you want to take me as your disciple?" Felix managed to blurt this out as he struggled to stay standing from the pressure from the two beasts. "Because you''re the perfect disciple for the two of us. You seem to have an incredibly powerful and pure bloodline from a Dragon and another equally powerful and pure bloodline for a Tiger, Sister Yui and I have been trying to merge our Demon Arts together but we''ve failed because we can''t find the right canvas to put them on." she leaped toward Felix and put her massive head right in front of him "But now! Now we''ve found you; the perfect canva--I mean disciple!" Felix fell backward onto the ground from the shock of having a massive demon tiger in his face. "Sister Mei is right. You''re perfect. And if you''re worried about us plotting something; Don''t. If we wanted something from you, we''d have taken it and if we wanted to eat you" She lifted her claws and pointed at the Tiger in front of Felix "We could''ve done it easily, just like how Sister Mei got in front of you instantly without you being able to react." Hearing what the Dragon said, Felix figured it made sense. What could two powerful beings like they want from him? He had no heaven-defying treasure on him and even if he did, could he get away from these two? Felix sighed as he got on his knees and kowtowed 3 times. "Disciple greets Masters." Felix''s voice, while not loud and domineering like how it was when he was fighting the Bear, was neither too humble nor too impolite signaling that he would stay his own person even if he had two outrageously powerful Masters. The Dragon seemed to be proud of her disciples'' determination to stick to his principles and the Tiger just started jumping around trashing the surrounding forest in excitement. White light surrounded both the beasts and they started to shrink and morph into different forms. The Dragon morphed into a valiant-looking beauty with white hair in a ponytail and a fringe swept to the left. Her face was beautiful and slightly sharp, her skin as pale as snow and her eyes as red as the most expensive rubies. She was about 6"6 in height, meaning she was incredibly tall for a woman in this form, towering over most normal men. Her figure was incredibly curvaceous, having curves in all the right places but her body also seemed very athletic and toned furthering her valiant beauty. The Tiger transformed into a seductive looking mature beauty, her hair was white with red strands here and there. Her body wasn''t toned like the Dragon but instead just juicy curves in all the right places. Her face was impeccable and her lips were deep reds and moist-looking. She was shorter than the Dragon but taller than most men in this world at 6"3. Looking at his new masters standing next to each other; A seductive beauty and a valiant beauty, Felix didn''t feel that having Masters was such a bad thing. "Okay, from now on call me Master Yui and her Master Mei, okay?" Felix nodded at Master Yui''s command. "Okay then, my cute little disciple, follow us and we''ll take you to a place to teach you the basics on Yoki and Demon Arts!" Master Mei said excitedly before going to leave but Felix quickly asked her a question before they left "What''s Yoki?". Before Master Mei answered, Master Yui stepped in "It''s the energy in your heart, idiot Disciple. Now shut up and ask your questions at the house." Felix shut up and followed them. 15 minutes later~ Felix and his Masters were in a hut now. Felix looked around the massive ''hut'' and thought that it was more of a mansion. Right now, Felix was walking towards the bathroom area because that''s where his teachers wanted to teach him the basics. Thinking about how his Masters were so beautiful, he had to calm his little brother down a bit before he entered the bathroom. When he entered he saw that it was less of a bathroom, more of a hot spring. He saw his two masters resting in the pool with towels covering their main bits and some towels holding up their hair as well. But that didn''t really stop Felix from imagining what was under the towels when he saw their cleavage threatening to bust out of the towels. "Oi, Disciple, stop checking us out and come over here so we can start the lesson." Master Mei had a deadpan expression as she guessed what Felix was doing. Felix quickly hurried over and sat down with an embarrassed expression. "Okay, to start off with the basics of Yoki." Master Yui took a big breath before she carried on "Yoki is pretty much the life force of Demons converted into energy that can temper and refine the body to higher and higher limits. It''s usually gathered by eating other Demons but you can get it from life and death situations and physical exercise." "It''s usually used in unison with Demon Arts to get the most effect out of it. What you''ve been doing these past 4 months is not tempering and refining your body but instead increasing its potential. The potential of your body determines how much training can improve your body. For example, if your potential is bad you won''t be able to improve through training that much but if your potential is high you can improve your body a lot with simple training." Master Yui motioned for Master Mei to carry on as she got a glass of something and started drinking it. "Like Sister Yui was saying, you''ve been increasing your body''s potential, so your fights training on the side have been improving your body immensely. This is the reason you could kill that peak 2nd tier bear without undergoing any Demonic Refinings." She had a drink herself but soon carried on "Demonic Refinings are what Demon Beasts undergo when they reach the next level of the Demonic Body Realm. There are ten levels in this realm and the realm after it is called the Demonic Bloodline Realm, which also has ten levels in it. To level up in the Demonic Body Realm you need a Demon Body Art which will temper and refine your body. Lucky for you, the more potential you have in your body, the more gains you get from a Demon Body Art." Master Yui carried on speaking again "You''ll be using a Demon Body Art called "Tiger Dragon Hegemony Art", it''ll give you the best benefits of each of your Bloodlines has to offer and pretty much none of the weaknesses. This is all we''ll impart to you before you reach the first level of the Demon Body Realm and then Sister Mei will impart to you the basic fighting techniques you''ll use as a foundation for the combined techniques." Felix nodded to his Masters with excitement burning in his eyes. This is what he wanted! A way to get even more powerful! He said he''d become the apex of this Forest, so why stop there?! With these two as his masters, he could rule The Forest, The Mountains, and The Lake, then he could use his power here as a foothold for the rest of the country! His Masters both looked proud as they felt the excitement, determination and resolve radiating off of their disciple; They knew they''d picked the right one. "Come out of the Bathroom then, I''ll impart the Demon Body Art to you." Master Yui stood up and motioned for Felix to follow, which he eagerly did. He couldn''t wait. Chapter 4 - Training and Being Forced into an Academy Felix put some clothes on and walked outside with Yui so he could learn the body art. "Okay, he''s the manual. Read through it and ask me any questions that you have." Listening to his master, Felix looked through the black book describing the body art. The Body Art itself had two different things it worked on. One, was obviously how strong the body was and the other thing was how pure and dense the Yoki in the body was. To fully start the body art, the user has to first reach the first level of the Yoki refinement. Felix started practicing the Yoki Refinement scripture in the manual. The aim was to get the Yoki in the heart to spin at incredible speeds until it created it''s on kind of pseudo-gravity which would constantly refine and compress the Yoki in the heart. An added benefit would be that it would also clear the blood of all impurities and most toxins when it goes through the heart. Felix first willed all the wisps of Yoki in his heart to gather together. When they were all within one big ball of Yoki, Felix started spinning it like a miniature planet. Slowly but surely, the ball of Yoki started picking up speed and Felix had to pay less and less attention to keeping the ball together as it was slowly holding itself together on its own. Felix felt that the technique was quite mystical as he didn''t quite know how it simulated gravity and also didn''t hurt his body at the same time. Felix''s Yoki was white and red and both those colors were slowly getting brighter and more luminous as the spinning got faster and faster, like the spinning was washing away all the impurities in it. Yui watched her disciple and felt his control over Yoki was incredible for a beginner. She had estimated that he wouldn''t be able to even start the spinning and would ask her how she even had a whole plan for her teaching segment but her disciple had gone above and beyond. She felt both proud and unhappy over her lack of need to help her student. Inside Felix''s heart, the ball of Yoki was being compressed even further. The Yoki in his heart before were like wisps of gas but now it was like a sphere of white and red liquid. The spinning speed was incredibly fast right now and Felix didn''t need to pay any attention to keeping the ball together as it was pretty much self-sufficient, instead he focused all his efforts on increasing the speed of the rotation. Soon he''d fully completed the first level of Yoki Refinement, shocking his Master. His Yoki was pure and dense, like pure spring water. It looked like a planet of white water, with continents of red land and despite its actual size, it seemed quite vast. Felix felt a relaxing feeling pervade throughout his body as his blood was cleaned of its impurities and some toxins in it. Some Yoki broke from the ball and flowed around his body, nourishing it and increasing its potential for growth. Felix was undergoing a drastic change because of his Yoki''s purity increase, with his muscles becoming more efficient, his blood being able to hold higher amounts of oxygen and nutrients in it and his organs were being cleaned through by the clean, pure blood. Yui looked at her disciple and couldn''t stop her eyes from going wide. She estimated that it would take more than a month or two before he could complete the first level, but here he was, proving her wrong. Her surprise was swept away by a ferocious smile full of fervor and excitement. "I''m going to train you into the perfect Demon!" was all she uttered before she wrote a note for Felix, left it on his lap and charged off somewhere. About 15 minutes later, after Felix had been fully cleansed by his new Yoki, he opened his eyes. They were full of luster and looked like sparkling crystals of blood, their attention was focused on the note on his lap which read "Start your training in the Body Art fully now."Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon. And that''s exactly what Felix did. The first level of the Body Art was a fist art which focused on tempering the body for battle. Felix got into the first stance and started to swing his fists in a simple manner. Even though he didn''t swing his fists with much strength, the wind surrounding his body went wild and sounded like the roaring of dragons and tigers. Felix''s body felt like it was being slowly ripped apart and put back together again. The red lines appeared on his body again and mist swirled around his body like a white dragon, sometimes going around and through his arms, sometimes going around and through his legs. The Yoki in his heart was rushing around his body in some kind of heated frenzy, refining and tempering his flesh constantly like his body was metal and Yoki was the furnace. Impurities were burnt out by his Yoki and his body was becoming more and more perverse in its power. Felix could feel the changes in his body and kept trying harder at the first level of the Art, his appetite for power was fully ignited and he intended to feed it fully. 1 month later~ Felix struck out with his fist in a casual manner but as he did it the air exploded around his fist, the ground at his feet cracked slightly and his body''s muscles rippled like they were alive. He''d finally completed the first level of the Body Tempering Art, along with entering the second level of Yoki Refinement. This put him at the 2nd level of the Demonic Body Realm. Right now he had grown to 7"2, his skin was bronze from being in the sun training all day and he had red lines on his body always now, instead of just when he activated his Yoki. Felix nodded proudly at his achievements that even his Masters didn''t think were possible. He seemed to be incredibly talented in the Way of the Demon, and his Masters always seemed to look at him with pride whenever he did something to their unbelievable high standards. Speaking of Masters, Felix had to meet his Masters today, they apparently had something important to tell him. When he arrived, he saw uncharacteristic serious expressions on his Masters'' faces'', like something was wrong. This caused Felix to frown as if it was enough to make his Masters serious then it must be a massive problem/event. "Good, you''re here Felix. Sit so we can talk." Yui spoke as she motioned for Felix to sit opposite them. After sitting, Felix went to speak before Mei interrupted him "We need you to do something for us. Something quite serious." Felix nodded and straightened his back to show he was ready for whatever news they had to throw at him. "We need you to go to an academy." Felix nearly fell over at this "Wait, w-what? That''s it?" his voice was full of confusion that the pair of Masters picked up on instantly. "Yes, that''s it. But this academy is an academy for Demons, Monsters and all sorts of things, you''ll have to constantly fight, kill and take in this academy. Only the strong can survive." Hearing this, Felix wasn''t deterred even a little bit, instead, he started to grow excited. Over this month, his exposure to pure Yoki had started to change him to think and act a little bit like a Demon. He could generally be regarded as a Humanoid Demon Beast at this point, in both body and mind. "I will go. But why do you need me to go?" Felix raised an eyebrow as he asked his Masters a question in return for his compliance. "Because the other Masters of the inner areas of the other parts of the Demonic Lands found out we took a disciple somehow and now they want to see how you match up to the Demons, Monsters and other creatures at the Academy as their many disciples are there. This is why it will be hard; You''ll constantly be aimed at by their sights." Mei said with worry in her eyes. She knew how strong her disciple was but she couldn''t help but worry for him because she knew how strong the disciples of the other mountains were. After continuing to talk about this for a while longer, Felix was stubborn in his decision to go even after his masters said they could get him out of it. He knew that he couldn''t become strong if all he did was stay inside and train, he had to go through uncountable amounts of fighting and killing if he wanted to become strong and the Academy could offer him just that. Mei called Felix outside to give him some intense combat training before he went to the Academy''s entrance exam in 2 weeks. "Okay, I''m going to teach you a combined Technique along with some foundational Fighting Techniques. It won''t be easy, so prepare yourself, Felix!" Mei''s enthusiastic voice boomed at Felix as soon as he entered the training field. He could just feel how much this was going to get him hurt, purely by her enthusiasm.
