《The Naruto system》
Am I stupid?
On an abandoned street two people were standing on opposite sides. The street was narrow but had enough space for a fight.
The street was filled with graffiti and looked like a street where the bad side of the society would hang out.
One of the two people was Tristan, our MC!
(Author: WHOOOO!????)
He wore a brass knuckle as he stared at the other party.
The other person was just cannon fodder. He had a baseball bat on his shoulders.
Both of them stared at each other as they got ready to fight. Tristan made the most basic boxing stance as the cannon fodder removed the bat off his shoulders and caught it with both his hands.
Both of them were ready but no one was willing to land a strike first. They slowly walked towards each other.
The cannon fodder was the first person to lose his patience.
¡°Aaaaaaahhhh!!¡±
He shouted like an idiot and rushed towards Tristan with a horizontal strike towards his neck.
Tristan dodged it easily by bending down and landed a fierce upper cut on the cannon fodder¡¯s chin.
Smack~
A solid hit as the cannon fodder moved back because of the large amount of force in the punch. But cannon fodders don''t go down so easily! He ran up to Tristan again.
¡°AAAAHHHH!!¡±
This time he tried to land a vertical hit on Tristan¡¯s head but Tristan managed to dodge to the side this time. Cannon fodder was ready this time as he changed the trajectory of the bat and struck Tristan¡¯s face hard.
The sound of a bone hitting metal sounded out as Tristan''s face shifted to the side. He didn''t let out a single sound. His stance hadn''t been disturbed even by one millimetre.
Tristan turned his head and faced his opponent again. ¡°Pthoo-¡± he spitted out some blood from his mouth along with a tooth.
The cannon fodder was shocked. ''what the fuck! Who the fuck is this guy?! No recoil at all?!¡¯ This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.
¡°Fuck you think I''m scared?!¡±
He shouted as he threw another hit at Tristan. Tristan did not reply as he punched at his bat with the brass knuckles with his right hand. The bat was sent flying in the air above their heads. He then punched the cannonfodder''s stomach.
¡°GHOO!¡± shouted cannon fodder as his stomach was struck.
Tristan caught the baseball bat with his left hand and punched at the cannon fodder¡¯s skull.
Another solid hit as the cannon fodder fell on the ground powerlessly. Tristan walked away after defeating cannon fodder, like it always happens. He took cannonfodder''s bat along with him and took the brass knuckles off his fist as he walked away.
He walked out of the street and walked into a booth. He then threw the baseball bat on the desk.
¡°My money?¡± He asked while looking at the guy standing in the booth.
¡°The match is over guys! Naruto has won! Everybody who lost their bets can go home, and anybody who won can go to the booth to collect it all!¡± The person inside the booth shouted as the 50 or so people around the booth either sighed with regret or jumped in happiness.
¡°Hahaha, thank you for doing business with us. Here''s your cash. You win a grand* this time.¡±
Said the booth man as he handed Tritan the thousand dollars. Tristan didn''t talk and just took the money away from the booth man¡¯s had and walked away.
¡°Hey who is that guy man?¡± Asked a random person around the booth.
¡°He is Naruto or at least that''s his nickname. Nobody knows his real name. If you''re thinking about robbing him you better put that thought away. Although he is new here he can easily defeat Brian.¡± Replied a person who stood next to him.
¡°What?! He defeated Brian?! No way!¡± Said the man.
¡°Well it''s not my problem if you don''t believe me but just don''t start a fight with him.¡± said the man as he watched Tristan¡¯s back with respect.
¡°Well¡. If you say so.¡± Said the man as he shrugged.
Tristan walked out of all the narrow streets and finally reached the main streets. He looked Towards the sky as he took a deep breath in.
''Haaaaaaaaah¡. Life is so boring, what should I do after this? I can''t keep fighting like this forever.¡¯
He took out a cigarette from his pants. The cigarette was bent by keeping it in his pants. He then took a lighter out and tried to light it up.
Tk!
Tk!
Tk!
¡°What the fuck is wrong with this lighter?¡±
He tried pressing a few more times when a person shouted loudly.
¡°Aaaah! Tommy!¡±
Tristan lifted his head up from the lighter as a woman came into his sight, she was running towards him. Her face was scrunched up as her tears threatened to fall out. She was looking at the middle of the road while running as fast as she could. She fell down in front of Tristan.
¡°Aah!¡±
A child of about three or four was standing at the middle of the road, he looked towards his mother and tried walking up to her. A car sped towards the child, as he was completely oblivious of the situation.
Tristan looked conflicted as the child was right in front of him but it was just for a millisecond. He ran towards the child as the lighter and cigarette dropped from his hands.
He ran as fast as he could and pushed the child out of the way of the car. The car screeched as it reached Tristan. The driver wanted to stop the car but it was already too late.
Bang!
The car hit Tristan¡¯s shoulder. He flew off and landed on the ground because of the force of the crash. His back slid on the ground before coming to a stop.
People started gathering around him, some took out their phone for photos as some called for the ambulance. The car driver got out and ran towards Tristan.
The driver was confused and didn''t know what to do. He tried to help but he didn''t know where to put his hands. After some time he just started calling for the hospital.
There were two lines going on in Tristan''s mind right now. ''fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck.¡¯ and - ''am I stupid?¡¯
He looked at the side of the road and saw the woman hugging her child in her embrace. The child wailed loudly as the mother tried to calm him down.
Tristan looked at the child as he closed his eyes. His shoulder hurted like hell and his back felt like it was on fire but he didn''t even have the energy nor the ability to move. The back of his head hurt as blood continuously flowed out of it making a small pool of blood on the ground.
''Ah fuck it, atleast the child is safe.¡¯
Light.
Tristan slowly opened his eyes. He tried to focussing his vision but he wasn''t able to.
He groaned as he dragged himself off the bed groggily. His head started paining like never before. Memories of what had happened during the car crash flooded his mind creating a mess in his brain.
¡°Shit! Was it a dream? It all seemed so real.¡±
His headache slowly receded and vision returned to his eyes. Noticing he was in an unfamiliar room he felt a little spooked out.
¡°Looks like an ordinary bedroom but where am I?¡±
The door of the bedroom suddenly opened creating a loud noise. A masked man entered the room with a white sheet of paper in his hands.
Tristan''s body tensed up at the uninvited guest¡¯s arrival. He got into his regular fighting stance.
¡°Who are you?¡± He asked with his voice full of cautiousness.
The masked man simply ignored the question and walked up to Tristan. His body suddenly flickered as he appeared behind Tristan.
Tristan not knowing of what had just happened got even more tensed up.
¡°Where did he disappear to?¡±
The masked man lightly touched Tristan¡¯s body. The feather light touch sent waves across Tristan¡¯s body.
His body shook for a moment and stopped moving entirely as if time had stopped.
The masked man¡¯s body flickered again and he reappeared in front of Tristan.
¡°There is no need to feel alarmed. I have no intention of harming you.¡± Said the masked man in a voice that sounded like it was altered to prevent recognition.
¡°I have sealed your body movements completely for a short duration of time as I don''t want to waste my time bickering with you.¡±
The masked man lifted his left hand up in which laid the sheet of paper he had been carrying along with him all this time, he wanted the content of the sheet to be visible to Tristan.
¡°Please read the contract carefully.¡±
Tristan was pissed off right now. First he didn''t know where he was. Second he didn''t know what this man had done to his body. And as if all that wasn''t enough now he even had to read a document!
''Loan sharks are getting better these days.¡¯
(Author: Loan sharks are people who trick other people by giving them loans at a very high interest.)
Since Tristan had nothing better to do he decided to read the document but he regretted it soon enough.
¡®Wtf! Naruto system tests? Different world? What kind of psychopath am I stuck with?¡¯
The masked man put his hand down.
¡°I know this might be very confusing but let me explain the situation to you. Our organisation recently made a Naruto system that lets the user become more powerful by using jutsu. We decided to test it on someone before using it on other people and we wanted someone who could do the job.
You fit all criterias perfectly. Homeless, jobless, friendless and no family. Even if you disappeared into thin air no one would give a shit.
After the car accident we brought you here and patched you back up.¡±
'' Wait¡ that car accident was real?!¡¯
¡°Now you have two different options. Either you choose to agree to the contract or you don''t agree and I break all your bones and send you back to the hospital and pretend that this never happened.
Stolen content alert: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences.
I''ll give you a minute, you can take your time and decide.¡±
¡® take your time? Didn''t you just give me one minute? And what''s all this breaking bones about? Oh God¡. What kind of fucked up situation am I in?¡¯
One minute later~
¡°Ok. Your time is up.¡± The masked man snapped his fingers.
Tristan realised that he could finally blink. ¡® I can finally blink! My eyes were paining after reading that ridiculous contract!¡¯
¡°Please blink once if you agree and twice if you don''t.¡±
Tristan decided to blink once because he didn''t want to find out if the psychopath would really break his bones or not. He had no interest in masochism.
Satisfied with Tristan''s answer the masked man snapped his fingers again, and this time to open a portal in the middle of the room.
'' The fuck?!¡¯
Tristan''s body suddenly started flowing in air and the next moment it shot towards the portal like a bullet, leaving the masked man behind.
The portal closed on it''s own after a while. The contract had also vanished from the masked man¡¯s hand. He took out another piece of paper which was much smaller and flicked it into the air.
The paper propped itself up in the air and glowed with a faint light.
¡°Is it done?¡±
A hoarse voice came from within the paper making the masked man kneel only by hearing it.
¡°Yes master, the mission is accomplished.¡±
The person with the hoarse voice laughed with delight as if he had won a lottery.
¡°Well done, now all we have to do is wait with patience. Hahahahaha!¡±
¡°Ahhhhhhhh!!¡±
Tristan who had just experienced a roller coaster ride for free was now falling at 30 miles per hour towards the ground. Speed slowly increasing¡
31,32,33¡..
He was squirming around weirdly in the air, as the poor fellow had never experienced skydiving.
When he was going to hit the ground at god knows what speed, his body came to a sudden stop.
Thud~
He breathed heavily as he he got up wondering what was going on today.
¡°I think I might be going crazy¡.. first a roller coaster and the free fall? Seriously, How am I still alive.¡±
He looked around to see where he had popped up to now. ¡°Where in the world am i? Is this Africa? There is nothing but vegetation all around here.¡±
He noticed he was on a cliff right now and sighed a breath of relief. ¡°At Least I didn''t fall off the cliff.¡±
Ding~
¡°What was that? Did something go into my ear?¡±
Tristan smacked his ears a few times to get the irritating sound to settle down.
(Author: our system! ??????)
Welcome to the world of Helios.
¡°Fuck! Who¡¯s there!¡± Tristan looked around to see who was messing with him but he didn''t notice anyone around him.
I am your personal system, Light.
¡°Wait, wait, wait¡ don''t tell me all that talk about Naruto system was real.¡±
You are currently in tutorial mode. Please concentrate on your name while closing your eyes.
¡°Fuck! It was real. Wow when am I going to get Sharingan?!¡±
Please concentrate on your name while closing your eyes.
¡°....¡±
Instead of getting upset and confused at the situation, Tristan was very excited right now. Why? Because he''s a Naruto fan. From his childhood up till now he had watched the evolution of Naruto in front of his eyes.
If the Naruto system really existed and wanted to make him stronger wouldn''t that be great?! He had always wanted to be an Uchiha. I mean which Naruto fan doesn''t? He likes Naruto so much that the only thing he wanted to do in his life was to learn how to be a ninja.
As he got older the passion slowly died down and although he had gotten stronger by learning martial arts, he didn''t have a stable job. He had started considering what to do in his future before this fiasco had happened.
He quickly closed his eyes and started concentrating on his name. ''Tristan Tristan Tristan¡¡¡¯
¡°Why is nothing happening?¡±
Even after 30 seconds had passed nothing happened. He felt like he got trolled by someone.
Ding~ the system has been initialised.
Ding~ You get the newbie box as gift for initialising the system.
¡°Whooooo! It works! It''s actually true!¡± Tristan flipped out as he started dancing around out of pure joy.
He closed his eyes again and concentrated on his name.
Host : Tristan Davis
Level : 1 ( even babies of this world are lvl 2)
Exp to reach next lvl : 100
Jutsu : nil
Tamed beasts : nil
Exchange points : 0
Elemental affinity: Lightning
As soon as Tristan looked into the system, he saw a flowing panel in his mind that showed his status.
¡°Hahaha! This system even makes fun of me like other systems. Haha!¡±
He saw a menu button on the top right corner and a map button on top left corner. He decided to check out the menu first.
Lucky spin: 0 tickets ( You get one ticket every time you level up. You get a ticket every month.)
Mission- Weekly ( mission issued weekly)
Monthly( mission issued monthly)
Slaying missions (locked)
Level missions ( mission issued every time host levels up)

(Warning! Missions given by the system cannot be declined or host will face penalties. Random missions are the only exceptions.)
Market - Jutsu and attacks
Clothes
Weapons
Bloodline limits, bloodline upgrades
Beasts ( locked)
Points exchange system
Storage
¡°Wow amazing there are so many things here, the clothes shop only has naruto¡¯s clothes.¡±
Tristan checked the Jutsu¡¯s out and noticed that many unfamiliar attacks were also there on the list.
The jutsu were divided on the basis of - E, D, C, B, A, S, SS. But he could only access grade E jutsus.
He then checked the map out. ¡°There is nothing on this map?¡± He just closed it and went back to the status bar.
Now that the host has seen explored the system, the tutorial will give you an outline of this world.
The world of Helios has three continents. The human continent, the demon continent and the barren continent. You are currently on barren continent where both humans and demons live. You are here for training and till you reach lvl 20. The average level on this continent is - 35.
The barren continent does not have a majority and demons and humans are constantly having wars with each other.
Detailed information on the continent will be given as the host explores it. Please open your newbie pack.
¡°Oh yeah! I totally forgot about that.¡± Tristan finally decided to open his newbie pack. He clicked on menu and then pressed storage. He saw seven empty boxes along with one more box which had a cuboid in it.
As soon he clicked it he was forced to open his eyes because he could feel something had dropped on his foot.
¡°Ow!!¡±
Babies are lvl 2? Why am I lvl 1?
Tristan crouched down and cried out in pain as he caught his foot.
¡°Ouch ouch ouch ouch!¡± He looked at object that had dropped down on his toes out of nowhere. The object was the cuboid he had lying around in his storage up until now.
He crawled up to the box and opened the lid off it. As soon as lid was removed messages from the messages from the system stormed his brain.
Obtained lottery ticket x 3
Obtained kekkei genkai x 1 (random)
Obtained kunai x 1
(Kekkei Genkai: basically a hereditary power in the naruto world. It passes on from generation to generation.
Kunai: a ninja weapon. Check it out on the web)
¡°Kekkei Genkai! I finally have the hopes of getting the Sharingan!¡±
(Sharingan: one of the most famous and powerful hereditary powers in Naruto. Basically every Naruto fan has a desire in having this power.)
He tried to control his excitement and quickly opened his storage. He found three items inside now. He clicked the book which said kekkei Genkai.
Use kekkei Genkai (random) x 1
Yes/ No
He quickly pressed the yes button. The blood in his body started to flow faster and a black white rectangle popped up in his mind.
The rectangle slowly showed different names of kekkei Genkai like a lottery machine. One name came and disappeared and in its place came another. Like this names kept switching out and in. Whenever the name Sharingan would come up Tristan would get all excited.
(Author¡¯s note: let''s call the switching in and out of words as random effect.)
Soon the random effect got so fast that Tristan''s eyes could not keep up with it. After about 30 seconds the random effect finally slowed down and approached a snail¡¯s pace.
Mud release, wood release, magma release, crystal release¡¡
¡°Come on, come on, please stop at Sharingan.¡±
Sharingan! The random effect finally ended by stopping at Sharingan.
¡°Yes! I got it! Hell yeah! I am going to get rinnegan soon as well! Mwahahaha!¡±
(Rinnegan: an upgraded version of Sharingan.)
Congratulation! You now have the quasi kekkei Genkai- shadow bind.
¡°Yeah! No¡. Wait! Where is my Sharingan?!¡±
User does not have dual elemental affinity to have any kekkei Genkai. The system compensates you by providing a quasi kekkei Genkai.
¡°I don''t want a quasi kekkei Genkai! Give me back my Sharingan!¡±
The body of host does not support a Kekkei Genkai¡.
¡°My-my Sharingan¡...nooooooooooooooooo .¡±
¡¡¡
Tristan was so sad that tears started forming in the edge of his eyes. ¡®I was conned! Conned by a fucking system! I thought the MC¡¯s in the light novels were just exaggerating when they meant that a system will always screw with the host!¡¯
He cried out loud and pestered the system for the Sharingan but it just ignored him.
In the end he decided to drop it and resign to his fate. If you come across this story on Amazon, it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it.
¡°It seems my luck is bad no matter where I go. Chech! Crappy system! I will never forgive you!¡±
A thought went past his mind as he remembered about the lottery tickets he had obtained.
¡°Ah! Yes, let''s use the lottery tickets!¡±
He closed his eyes and got into the system. ¡°Oye crappy system how do I do the lottery?¡±
You need to go to the menu and click on use lucky spin.
Tristan did as he was told and went into the lucky spin system. There were 8 divisions on the spinning wheel. 4 of them had exchange points on them. One of it was chakra unlock. Another two had paper bombs on them and the last one had a cuboid with full of question marks on it.
¡°How do I spin the wheel?¡±
You need to imagine it spinning. It will start spinning and stop at one of the 8 items. The item which will have the pointer aiming at it when the wheel stops will become yours. The rewards get better each time you level up.
¡°Ok then I''ll just save them for a later use.¡±
Tristan opened his eyes. ¡°What do I have to do now?¡±
Killing monsters to level up. Please kill the giant caterpillar worms around 300 meter radius to reach lvl 2.
Random mission issued. (Reward: 10 exp)
¡°Ok then let''s get started! It''ll be as easy as a pie.¡±
He removed the kunai that he had recently obtained from the newbie box and walked into the wilderness.
2 hours later~
A person was being chased by a hoard of caterpillars in the wilderness. It seemed quite strange actually. The caterpillars were also unusually larger than their regular size.
The caterpillars were adamant on chasing Tristan no matter how much he tried to outrun them. He had only 30 caterpillars by now
¡°Ok. This isn''t as easy as I imagined it to be. By the way system, how are children in this world lvl 2 when it''s so tough to get to that lvl?¡±
The host is weak. The children are naturally strong since birth due to genetic hereditary. Some children are lvl 5-10 from birth itself.
¡°Isn''t that fucked up? What kind of monsters are they?¡± Tristan jumped over a low wall formed by mud and did a little bit of Parkour as he climbed onto a tree to escape from the caterpillars.
¡°Any ideas that might be helpful right now?¡±
The system recommends the host to use lottery tickets and obtain paper bombs.
Tristan thought about it for a while and saw the caterpillar hoard swarm off to some random direction. ''paper bombs might came in handy while trying to kill these weaklings. If it was just about 5 to ten caterpillars it would have been easy but there almost 200 of them!¡¯
¡°Use a lottery ticket!¡±
Confirm use of lottery ticket?
¡°Yes.¡±
Ding~ Lottery ticket used¡¡.. Ding~ obtained chakra unlock.
Chakra unlock- it helps the user to manipulate, store and use chakra in jutsus. Average lvl for unlocking chakra - lvl 5.
Awarded mystery box X 1 for unlocking chakra before the average lvl.
¡°I didn''t get paper bomb¡. Use another lottery ticket!
Confirm use of lottery ticket?
¡°Yes.¡±
Ding~ Lottery ticket used¡¡.. Ding~ obtained mystery box X 1
¡°Shit¡. This crappy system!¡±
He shed tears of blood as he spent another lottery ticket.
Confirm use of lottery ticket.
¡°I get one¡ just one lottery ticket every month and I cannot believe I spent it like this. It¡¯s like I spent three months of my salary in one moment.¡±
Ding~ Lottery ticket used¡¡.. Ding~
Obtained paper bomb x 10.
¡°Yes! At least the system gave me what I wanted!¡±
Host has unlocked chakra. You can now use your ¡®only¡¯ move shadow bind.
Shadow bind- This technique is a quasi kekkei Genkai used to bind the opponent in his place with your shadow. Your shadow extends as it goes towards the opponent''s shadow. Once connected together the opponent can''t move unless you unbind your shadow.
Note: effective only on people with same lvl or lower than your lvl. It''s very tough to maintain the bind with higher level opponent as it uses up a lot of chakra.
Tristan got depressed just thinking about how he lost the Sharingan. Just the name ''shadow bind was able to arouse his anger.
¡°System, how many points do I have to get another elemental affinity?¡± he asked while gnashing his teeth.
Host is dreaming too much. Please focus on leveling up to lvl 2 first.
¡°......¡± Tristan was speechless as he noticed that the system might have a personality.
Jumping down from the tree, Tristan ran towards the direction the hoard of caterpillars had gone to.
¡°Light, what''s the level of those caterpillars?¡±
Level of caterpillar hoard ranges from 1-2.
Hmmm¡..
Although Tristan could not overpower the caterpillars, his speed was far greater than that of the caterpillars.
He caught up with the caterpillars in no time and taunted them by throwing a few stones at them. He feared they would split up if they didn''t find him and he would have to wait for some time for them to gather up again.
¡°Heya fellas! Miss me?¡±
All the caterpillars turned around and looked at him at the same time.
''run away!¡¯
He ran as fast as his legs could carry him to put some distance between him and the hoard. Once the distance was established he put a paper bombs on the ground and ran again.
The caterpillars had caught up with him by the time he arranged the paper bombs on the ground.
Fortunately for him, lvl 2 caterpillars weren''t intelligent and didn''t notice anything amiss.
Tristan had imbued some of his chakra into the paper bomb. He learned how to do it when he had unlocked his chakra.
He turned around finally stopped running when almost all the caterpillars were over the paper bombs. He activated his shadow bind.
His shadow turned into a weird shape and moved like a snake on the ground as it slithered its way to the caterpillars. It fist connected itself to one caterpillar¡¯s shadow, then another and another. Soon enough 200 or so caterpillars had their shadows interconnected to each other like a spider web.
One of the advantages of shadow bind. More shadows? Well, less chakra spent.
¡°Got em!¡±
Tristan activated the paper bombs. Fireworks were into play as green colour blood splashed everywhere.
¡°It''s over.¡±
All the caterpillars had been annihilated. In fact the explosions were so strong than some of threes surrounding them had been destroyed. All that was left was the disgusting burning smell with huge amounts of green blood everywhere. The caterpillars body parts were also all over the place.
Tristan powerlessly fell to his knees. The amount of chakra spent had take a toll on him.
Ding~ obtained 227 exp points.
Ding~ congratulations for leveling up to lvl 2.
Ding~ reward for random mission obtained.
Ding~ congratulations for leveling up to lvl 3.
A string of messages stormed his brain as he breathed heavily.
Ding~ you are finally above lvl 2! Your status bar has been upgraded.

Ding~level mission issued.
Ding~level mission issued.
Warning! If the missions are not completed within their allotted time, the host will be killed. (PS this is not a joke please take this seriously.)
¡°..... What did I do in my past life to deserve such a system?¡±
Please open your mystery boxes in storage.
Although Tristan felt frustrated right now, he decided to just forget in since he couldn''t do anything.
¡°What in the world did I get myself into?¡± He realised that the masked man he had met was not an ordinary person. How had they sent him here from Earth in the first place?
??
¡°I''ll use my stat points first.¡±
He clicked on his stat points and use 7 of them on agility and 3 of them on dexterity.
(Dexterity: skill in performing tasks, especially with the hands)
He needed agility since he could make hand signs faster in the future and the dexterity would help him do it accurately. The reason he didn''t use any points for attack or defense was because he didn''t have any offensive jutsu and he doubted he would have one anytime soon in the future. He could just dodge an attack if it came his way with the high agility anyway.
¡°By the way system¡.. why didn''t I get the luck and charm starm stats? I heard they are always there on systems.¡±
There is no use for such a stat and i don''t think the user could improve much in charm and luck no matter how much he upgraded them.
¡°........¡±
¡®Hey! The luck part might be true but - but¡.. I look pretty good alright! I-i-i, ok maybe I''m not that good looking but still!¡¯
Feeling depressed because of the trolling system he decided to move towards the mystery boxes in his storage to get some consolation.
As soon as he clicked on boxes, he dashed backwards with all he had. Alas! Everything was done in vain as two heavy things fell on his toes.
¡°AWOOOOO!!!!¡±
''My toes¡.¡¯
Yelping with pain he slowly dragged himself to the two boxes piled neatly in front of him.
''i think I need to upgrade my defence a little¡.¡±
As soon as he opened a box, light came from within it and blinded him.
Ding~ obtained E grade jutsu ''clone¡¯.
Ding~obtained hundred 100 exchange points. This tale has been unlawfully lifted without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon.
This time he received only two items. The item that got him curious were the exchange points.
¡°Exchange points? Crappy system, what are exchange points?¡±
Exchange points are points used to buy items from the in built store. It can be obtained by 3 ways. Lucky spin or missions, by killing monsters with a monster cores and by giving the system a strong item and exchanging them for points.
¡°Ooohhhhh! That means I can buy Sharingan right?¡±
Technically¡.
Tristan didn''t know how much 100 points was worth but he quickly rushed to the system¡¯s store.
Unfortunately for him the systems were made to make the hosts feel bad.
¡°What is this¡ this ¡ 100,000! 100,000 for sharingan! Even body replacement technique is 1200 points!¡±
(Clone jutsu: one of the weakest jutsu but has a lot of practical uses. Creates a replica of one''s self but it doesn''t have any attack or defence and objects can pass through it.
Body replacement technique: replaces your body with a substitute. Effective for dodging.)
The only thing Tristan could buy was ''one Thousand years of death.¡¯ For a proper 100 points.
Even rope escaping technique was 200 points.
(Author: if you don''t know what one thousands years of death is don''t spoil it for yourselves and wait for the plot to continue. ?? )
It had been almost a decade since Tristan had stopped seeing Naruto. He seemed to recall the name ''one thousand years of death¡¯ but he couldn''t tell what it really was.
¡°Such a great name¡ but only 100 points? This seems a little suspicious.¡±
He narrowed his eyes thinking why the system was being so generous.
He didn''t have any attack moves on him and even though he had shadow bind, all it could do was stall time. It wasn''t an offensive attack.
''hmmmmmm¡.¡±
He tried racking his brain up but no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn''t remember what the jutsu was supposed to do.
¡°It''s only hundred points! Let''s just buy it. It looks like an offensive move so it should be alright.¡±
He clicked the buy button and information of the move flowed into his brain. It was like he had already practised this move for a hundred times. Over and over again the move repeated in his brain.
As soon as the learning process was done he got up catching his stomach. His face twisted up as if he had seen a horror movie. He walked to the bushes nearby and bent his head down.
SFX: rainbow from mouth.
¡°Fucking system!¡±
The moon in the sky shined brightly, accompanied by the stars.
The grass on the ground danced with the wind producing rustling sounds. There was a burrow in which laid an abnormally large caterpillar snoring softly. The burrow was just large enough to fit an adult person inside it.
Tristan slowly walked closer and closer to the burrow as he looked into it.
¡°Found it!¡±
¡°Finally after killing about a hundred of those worthless caterpillars!¡±
Tristan had been looking for this oversized caterpillar all day. It was the chief caterpillar. Basically the leader of a bunch of weaklings.
Tristan had been trying to find him because he wanted to complete his level mission.
It rewarded 100 exp if he completed it but if he lost he would lose his life, which is kind of dumb.
He looked at the caterpillar from top to bottom, his eyes stopped at a particular place.
¡°Forgive me for this caterpillar, but I need to preserve my life. Good thing it''s sleeping or god know how I would be able to defeat this.¡±
He held his hands together like a child who was playing shoot-shoot with his friends. With full of guilt and nervousness he advanced towards the caterpillar.
¡°I''m sorry! One thousand years of death!¡±
The caterpillar finally reacted and got up, but the deed was already done. The caterpillars eyes closed as soon as it had opened. It writhed in pain, it was unwilling to die this way! No! This is way too humiliating.
Of course Tristan didn''t want to wait and find out what it could do. He quickly equipped his kunai and stabbed the caterpillars stomach.
Green blood splashed around everywhere but the caterpillar was still bent on surviving. It struggled till it''s last moment and probably died due to excessive blood loss while Tristan pinned him down.
Ding~ obtained 200 exp.
Ding~ levelled up to lvl 4.
Ding~ reward for completing mission-100 exp.
Tristan was completely devastated. ¡° I am never using this move ever again. My hands have been tainted¡..¡±
The so called one thousand years of death is actually- Ahem!- inserting the blade into the hole. Completely destroys the enemy.
Tristan looked up to the moon. Two drops of tears fell from his cheeks.
¡°Requesta de Pache.¡±
(Author''s note: rest in peace for Latin. Ahem! One minute of silence for caterpillar please.¡±
5 days later~
The fireplace lit brightly. The surrounding were brightened.
SFX: nom! Nom! Nom!
Tristan was tired of eating tasteless meat for five day now. He had levelled up to lvl 9 now. All the level missions were like killing slime, slime chief, bats, bat chief, boars, boar chief and wolves.
After the caterpillar he had to kill boars. Tasting meat was good but all he had been eating was meat for 5 days now. He had actually started to miss veg food right now. He didn''t even have any salt to make the meat to taste better.
All he did these days was kill, kill, kill, kill and kill more. At first it felt nauseous but it all became normal by the fourth day.
His status looked something like this now-
Host : Tristan Davis
Level : 9 ( small kids can still whoop the host¡¯s ass in a battle)
Attack : 10
Defence: 6
Strength: 10
Dexterity: 29
Agility: 32
Stat upgrade points:
Exp to reach next lvl : 2203
Jutsu : quasi kekkei Genkai - shadow bind, clone jutsu, rope escaping technique, one thousand years of death, body replacement jutsu.
Tamed beasts : nil
Exchange points : 30
Elemental affinity: Lightning
He spent a little bit of points on attack, defence and strength but he mainly focused on agility and dexterity.
The level missions gave him exp points sometimes and exchange points the other times. He bought rope escaping jutsu and body replacing technique with those points. Although rope escaping technique hadn''t had much of an effect yet but body replacement technique had definitely helped him.
Another thing he discovered was the map updated every time he killed a chief type monster. Every time the map updated it showed every nook and corner of a small place but it wasn''t much. It was like a part of map unlocked every time he killed a chief.
The weekly mission he had been given was to reach lvl 10 so he wanted to do that with just some farming. But the amount of mob monsters had drastically decreased. The only thing he could do right now was find the wolf chief so he would get a large amount of exp by killing it.
He would also complete the lvl 9 mission awarding him with exp or exchange points.
He threw away the big bone of without any meat into the fireplace and walked into the small cave he had found to sleep in it.
It was full of bats at first but he killed all the bats and occupied the place.
Counting the 5 days along with the day he had first come to this place, 6 days had already passed. Tomorrow was the last day he would have to kill the wolf or he would most probably die.
He looked at the ceiling of the cave with both his hands wrapped around the back of his head.
''I really miss a bed. Every time I get up, it¡¯s like I have cramps in my butt. I miss veggies¡. Green, green veggies.¡¯
His eyes slowly closed while he already started to dream about green vegetables.
Bananas?
The sun shone brightly as it''s rays fell on the silver coating of a wolf. This made the already good looking fur on the wolf look more good. It stood on large stone surrounded by a couple of hundred of other common looking wolves with brown fur.
Tristan was hiding in a bush nearby. He had gotten up in the morning, rinsed his mouth, had his boring meal- roasted boar and started searching for the wolf chief.
It didn''t take him long to find where he was. All he had to do was follow a few wolves for a while before they lead him to this place.
After arriving he walked at the borders of the large group and waited for a wolf to go away from the pack for a while. As soon as the wolf was out of the pack, Tristan stealthily dashed towards that area and got on a tree.
Jumping from tree to tree, he followed the wolf. A kunai appeared in his hand. When he found the perfect opportunity, he leapt on the wolf. The wolf turned back alarmed but Tristan was already on the wolf.
The wolf yelped in pain before Tristan slit his neck with a kunai. The mouth of the wolf was held with his other hand so it couldn''t make anymore noises than soft whimpers. The wolf struggled but in the end it was all for nothing
Ding~gained 5 exp.
Tristan had been doing this for about 3 hours now. 37 down and another 200 to go. Yeah, probably won''t be able to do it today and die?
He had to think of something but even though he had killed about 40 wolves, the chief himself wasn''t even bothered. It''s as if he didn''t even know that his pack was being killed.
''Oh well let''s keep this up till it notices.¡¯
Dawn was approaching but the wolf chief still sat on the large rock silently.
Tristan had killed a total of about 100 wolves now. There were still around 150 wolves surrounding the chief wolf.
Suddenly a light bulb shone in Tristan''s head. He smacked his head on the ground. ''shit! How could I forget something like this!¡¯ He brought his hands together and shouted softly.
¡°Clone jutsu!¡±
A copy of Tristan appeared next to him, it looked just like the real one. He commanded the clone with his chakra to attack the chief wolf.
The clone nodded affirming Tristan''s order and walked out of the bushes.
All the wolves turned around and looked at Tristan at the same time. They turned cautious while the clone stood in its place. The chief wolf was still very uninterested though, just stayed on the large rock. He even yawned!
A few wolves tried to jump and attack the clone but every time they tried to do something the clone dodged. Tristan hadn''t spent all those points in agility for nothing.
Finally the real Tristan came out. He had a kunai in his hand which was tied to a paper bomb.
He threw it at the area where the wolves were crowded the most. The wolves easily dodged the kunai but they didn''t know what danger lied in it.
Boom~
Ding~ obtained 85 exp.
Cries of wolves dominated the air as the wolves died all together.
This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work.
The one paper bomb had killed around 17 wolves and injured almost 20 other wolves.
The other wolves looked at Tristan, ready to shred him to pieces. They growled at Tristan for causing their fellow pack member¡¯s death.
He signalled for his clone to retreat and quickly slashed at the wolves while he had the chance. Blood splashed everywhere as five wolves died instantly.
After killing 200 of these wolves already, he knew where there weak points were. He could even kill them with his eyes closed. Unfortunately the number of wolves this time was too much and you had to take the chief wolf into account as well.
The lazy oaf finally decided to get up and take a stroll. It signalled the wolves that were about to give a chase to stand there ground. It walked slowly till it came out of the pack. All the wolves gave way for it. The moment it stepped out of the pack, it''s beautiful silver fur flashed as the wolf disappeared.
The wolves cried out clearly worried for their leader who had left them behind but no wolf dared to follow as they didn''t know where to go nor did they want to disobey the chief.
The wolf ran around for while before finding out where Tristan was. It was walking very stealthily to avoid detection. The bushes moved a little bit under the red rays of the sun while the wolf did it''s best to hide while closing in on Tristan.
For some reason the wolf felt that something was wrong here but wolves don''t have much of a brain. They did depend on instincts but not when there was such a weak signal for danger.
Tristan stood in the open smiling, full of himself for laying a trap for the wolves. He was totally lost and didn''t know that the wolf chief was right behind him in the bushes. He thought that the wolves would chase him like madmen and he would slaughter them to reduce the number of wolves guarding the chief and add some exp points for himself.
The wolf behind him waited for a while but he didn''t see anything strange happen. It didn''t look like there was any danger. This human was too cocky it had to kill him to show that wolves were a lot stronger that this human.
It jumped out of the bush and leapt on Tristan. It''s mouth opened as it went for Tristan¡¯s neck to bite it off. The teeth bared into his neck.
Sfx: Chuck!
The wolves mouth only caught empty air as the sound of jaws hitting each rang in the air.
¡°Gotcha!¡±
Tristan snapped his fingers and six explosions went off in the area surrounding the wolf.
¡°Awooo!!¡± The wolf cried miserably as it''s body was etched with burn marks and bloods.
¡°And there go all my exp points along with my paper bombs.¡±
With all the levelling up and defeating monsters he had finally gained enough exchange points for 7 paper bombs. Which he already used.
Tristan jumped down from tree with a kunai in his hands and pierced it into the chief wolf¡¯s head. The wolf who barely able to stand after all that bombardment instantly fell to the ground. It convulsed violently with the kunai in his head. Blood flowed continuously from his head as it finally.
The clone scratched his head innocently. Clearly it had not expected the wolf to jump at him so suddenly.
¡°Whoo~ good thing I decided to use my clone.¡±
The one who was standing in openly and defenselessly was Tristan''s clone. It disappeared into thin air. The real Tristan was hiding on a tree all along.
The previously beautiful fur of the wolf had been burnt to black charcoal which mixed with its blood. It made for a sorry figure during its time of death.
Ding~ obtained 2000 exp points.
Congratulation for completing the lvl 9 mission. You have obtained 1000 exp points.

¡°The wolf was too fast for my comfort but it seems like it didn''t have a lot of brains¡. Oh well, that''s good for me anyways.¡±
After rejoicing over the fact that he would finally(probably) leave this wretched place, he viewed his map which had updated because he killed the chief wolf.
¡°What''s this? Newbie forest?¡± he looked at the area he was in. The map which previously didn''t show anything but just patches of lands nearby, now showed a small plot of area with the word newbie forest on it.
Congratulations for completing the tutorial. You are awarded with 1000 exp for completing newbie forest. You will now be shifted to another area for further training.
¡°What? More training? When do I get to rest?¡±
When the host becomes strong.
¡°And when exactly is that?¡±
Not defined.
¡°Not defined? What the heck is that.¡±.
Tristan''s body flickered under the red rays of the sun and he disappeared from where he was standing.
A monkey and a person stood on opposite sides of each other. Both looked at each other fiercely. Both of them stared as if they were watching each other''s worst enemy.
The man looked at the tree in front of him. His whole body gave off the aura of gluttony and savagery.
He kicked the ground and flew in the air to catch the tree. He climbed up the tree like a mad man but it didn''t seem like lady luck was with him this time. He wanted the bananas on the tree, all he wanted were Bananas.
The Monkey also climbed the tree and got to the bananas on the tree. The man looked on with misery as it took the bananas and left him all alone.
Grr~
The man lost his grip from the tree trunk and fell down with a thud. His stomach growled in pain and with hunger.
''it''s been a full day but the crappy system still hasn''t upgraded.¡¯
(Author: it''s our MC of course. Who else would I be taking about all of a sudden.)
Tristan had arrived in this bizarre place for a day. He had explored the area but all he could find were tall banana trees and monkeys all over the place.
The damn system had gone into upgrade mode for some reason. When he had finally found some veg food, the monkeys kept taking it away from him. At least he had some roasted meat in the newbie forest but all he could do in this idiotic place was starve.
Ding~
The offbeats
Ding ~ the system has finished upgrading. Welcome to the new training area.
You are rewarded with 10000 exp for completing the weekly mission.
Lvl 10 mission : beat the monkeys to the bananas by climbing on the tree with your feet. Control the chakra in your feet to attach them to the tree.
Time limit- 24 hours.
Warning: the monkeys cannot be beaten if you just try to climb normally.
Reward: automatic upgrade to a higher lvl.
Bonus: don''t try to deter the way of the monkey during climbing.
Reward: 1000 exp.
¡°Finally¡. But what do I eat? I don''t know any plant around here that''s edible nor is there anything to eat.¡±
Bananas
¡°...."
Or monkeys
"I don''t think I want to know what a monkey taste''s like."
Tristan looked at the trees around him. He could see monkeys climbing up the trees occasionally.
Those monkeys climbed the tree as if their life depended on it! What the fuck is this? How will he be able to beat them?
He added all the five points he had obtained to agility. Boy will he need those points.
The monkeys climbed like the world was going to end. There was something interesting about them though. They didn''t fight with their brethren. If one monkey had bananas, another wouldn''t try to snatch it. They wouldn''t climb on trees which are already being climbed.
Even these monkey were much better than those so called ''human beings¡¯ on earth.
¡®That''s all well and good¡¡ but why the do they hate me?! What have I done to them?! I just want bananas.¡¯
This cursed world never let him have an easy life. What could he do? He just got up and started climbing with his feet. The chakra in his body was transferred to his legs and manipulated so that the chakra would stick on to the tree bark. Therefore making him walk on the tree.
After walking for a few steps one of his legs suddenly slipped. His upper-body went towards the ground while his second foot was still attached to the tree bark.
Crack!~
The muscles near his hips were stretched to the core.
¡°Awooooooo!!!!¡±
Wailing like a wolf, he lost his concentration and his second leg also lost its support.
Thud~
He fell to the ground head first. It was quite painful. ¡°Ouch, ouch, ouch.¡±
He caught his head with his hands and started rolling on the ground.
¡°I thought it would be easy! Why did I fall like that?¡±
To reply to the host. You used very less amount of chakra. Your chakra control is also very less.
While he had a chat with his system, another monkey came near the tree he was previously trying to walk on and climbed it up. It snatched all the bananas and ran away.
¡°Hey! Wait! I just need one banana!¡±
The growling of his stomach forced him to chase after the monkey. Can''t beat em? Join em? Nah! Chase em!
The monkey looked back at Tristan like he was a filthy monster and picked up it''s pace. Apparently an agility stat of 37 isn''t enough to chase a monkey.A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
Watching the monkey climbing trees and running off into the distance, Tristan wondered if he could do the same once he learnt how to walk on trees.
¡°Looks like I can''t eat a banana until I climb the tree and get it.¡±
It''s not like he couldn''t climb the tree but the moment he did, the monkeys would also start climbing and reach the bananas on the top of the tree earlier than him.
The banana trees weren''t like how they were back on earth. They were ridiculously tall and had only four to five bananas on each of them.
Tristan saw a tree near him that didn''t have any bananas on it. He decided to just train on it.
Tristan lay on the ground in front of a tall tree that had a lot of cut marks on it. The cut marks looked like they had been made by a sharp object.
His stomach grumbled as he struggled to stand up. His body was dripping with sweat and he had bruises all over.
¡°Haaaaaa!¡±
The sound reverberated in the forest and caused the monkey which were in the area to squeal in shock.
Tristan ran on the tall tree with a kunai in his hands. He reached the area where the cut marks were made and tried to run past them. Unfortunately he lost balance and slipped.
Before falling towards the ground he left a mark on the tree with his kunai. The mark looked similar to the other cut marks on the tree.
He somersaulted in the air before landing on the ground on his knees. Breathing deeply he dragged himself to the tree and leaned on it.
¡°Sigh~ I don''t think I can do this¡.¡± The mark he had left was before another mark.
¡°How had Naruto and Sasuke done it?¡±
He had attached chakra from his legs to the tree, indirectly attaching his legs to the tree. Use too much and a part of the tree gets destroyed. Use too less and you just fall off. Finding the right amount of chakra to use and maintaining it was the trick.
He had already found out how much chakra to use but he couldn''t maintain it. He would either get distracted or get hungry and that much was enough to make him fall down.
When would he be able to eat? It''s already time for lunch¡.
While he was thinking on how to solve this problem, the monkeys nearby came closer to him.
Many monkeys formed a semi circle around him and one of them walked towards where he was seated.
They had watched him for a long time now (and his stomach grumbling) looking at the amount of effort he put in, the monkeys were moved.
Eventually even the monkey felt pity for him and decided to give him a banana.
¡°What up with these guys ? They didn''t even want to let me have a banana before. Why the sudden change in attitude?¡±
Tristan was feeling a little surprised right now. What were these monkeys doing?
The monkey that had walked up to him kept a banana in front of Tristan and walked away. It turned back and looked at Tristan encouragingly. All the monkeys then went back to what they were doing- finding trees with bananas and eating them or carrying them away.
Tristan was completely amazed. These monkeys can have human expressions and had pity on him. He had been reduced to such a state that he needed a monkey to feel pity for him to get soon food.
¡°Hahaha! Well good for me anyway! Thanks for the encouragement I guess? ¡°
He picked the banana up and gobbled it all up.
¡°Phew~ although it''s a single banana, something is better than nothing. Let''s do this!¡±
Fist bumping in the air he gained his confidence back and he ran on the bark again.
This time he didn''t let anything bother him. He just went on his way. The farther he went the tougher it became. He didn''t succeed this time either. Falling down he had a smile on his face, because he had ran the most distance than he had ever done before.
As soon as he fell he started running again. He finally understood how to run to a farther distance. The more fluently you control the chakra the more stable the climb is.
Fail? Again! Fail? Again! He went on and on until he finally succeeded.
The breeze made his dark hair flow in the night as he stood on the top of a tree. He looked up towards the sky and shouted like a gorilla with his hands on his chest.
¡°Woohooooooooooooooooooo! I did it!¡±
The host has 8 hours to complete the mission.
¡°What? Didn''t I just climb the tree? What more do I have to do?¡±
You have only climbed the tree but you need to beat the monkeys as well.
¡°... Shit¡.. I forgot¡¡¡±
Tristan decided to ask something that had bothered him to the system now.
¡°Hey system?¡±
Yes
¡°Why are the monkey here so clever?¡±
These monkeys are the lvl 6 offbeat monkeys. They have high intellectual than ordinary lvl 1 monkey and have a high amount of agility. They have a higher agility due to their habitats. Their habitat requires them to have a higher agility to gather all the bananas in the area.
¡°But¡. Why do they keep collecting the bananas?¡±
It is currently spring and not winter. The special banana trees produce bananas only in winter and spring. When the winter birds arrive, they will take away almost all the bananas. Very little amount is left with the monkeys. The monkeys have preserving methods which can be used to preserve a banana for a year. Because of this they need to make preparations.
¡°Wow! That''s amazing¡.. only lvl 6, yet such intelligent creatures. I wonder how the higher level creatures are like.¡±
Tristan decided it was enough chit chat and decided to get down from the tree. He noticed that the monkeys were collecting bananas even in the night.
¡°They work pretty hard.¡±
He saw a monkey climbing up a tree and he followed it by climbing up.
The monkey yelped in surprise as he saw Tristan run past by him. The monkeys may be faster than him when going from tree to tree or running on ground but their speed drastically decreases while climbing a vertical tree with no branches.
He might have been slower that them while trying to climb normally but now that he could just run on it, he didn''t have any problems beating them in terms of speed. The three bananas fell into his hand while the monkey shouted in disappointment.
Tristan then continued to jump of the tree and land on the ground. He quickly ate a banana and left the other two on the ground.
¡°i will be taking one of these since i haven''t had anything than another banana from morning. You can have the other two. I don''t know if you can understand me but thank your friends for giving me encouragement. Getting encouragement from somebody I didn''t except really helped.¡±
While walking with a banana in his mouth he felt really relieved to be finally eating something. But the system always had to ruin the moment doesn''t it?
Ding~ you have completed the lvl 10 mission.
You are upgraded to lvl 11 automatically as a reward.
Congratulations for leveling up to lvl 11.
You will be transferred to the next training area while the system undergoes upgrades.
¡°What?! What about the bonus reward.¡±
You shocked the monkey by suddenly appearing near it and thus have failed to complete the bonus mission.
¡°The heck? Didn''t you tell me that I only had to make sure I don''t hinder it''s path?¡±
You did.
¡°Well I kind of did but doesn''t that only count if I had hindered it to let me make my mission easier. Clearly I easily defeated it.¡±
Good luck in the next training ground~

¡°Wait! My bonus!¡±

Shut down.

On a bright sunny day, Tristan was working out on a moving cart. Yeah, that''s right, a ''moving cart¡¯.
He was half naked and had a simple white pant on. While being wet with sweat from head to toe he looked like a person who had taken a dip in a river. The pant stuck on his legs and showed off his muscles.
There was a old man sitting on the cart holding the reins. He had a piece of grass in his mouth and looked like a typical sunny, smiling old man.
He was carrying hay on his cart for the animals and had met Tristan along the way. Tristan asked him for a lift, for which the old man agreed.
Ahem~ to explain a little more in detail let''s hand over the writing to Tristan.
Tristan-
Well? Where do I start? Hm¡¡¡..
My life since I was transferred over?
Oh! That''s easy! It''s basically been shit. Everyday I get up I have to fucking get my mind ready for the shitty amount of training I''ve been doing.
Eat, Train, sleep and repeat or ¡.. (a knife at my neck) die!
Life''s messed up sometimes and mine changed to being messed up everytime. Somehow I get dragged into some kind of shit. I was excited. Mind you, it was just ''I WAS¡¯.
Then I am paired with a trolling system that I can''t troll back at and sent into a brand new world. Sounds great right? Basically what every otaku wants. Not for me though.
Let me tell you why.
I get trolled all the time. I have to train. I don''t get comfortable sleep. I can only afford tasteless food. And I have to listen to whatever the system or Light tells me to do.
The only good thing is I can fight. I love to fight. No matter what place or time, to me fighting is a way to relieve my stress. So I go around fucking monsters up every time I see one.
This ''fucking up monsters¡¯ hobby of mine got so bad that one time I was in the forest, instead of trying to tear me down the monsters ran away.
Am I ok with this?
Again. I was, I am not now. I mean I love the fighting part but the other things are just dumb and fucked up.
What am I up to now?
Well I am currently doing pushups on a cart, waiting for it to move to my destination. I went up to lvl 29 in the past two months I have been here.
Where am I headed to?
I am going to a clan. It''s called the Ancestral stone. I am going there because it''s my monthly mission.
It''s one of the top three clans in the southern part of barren continent. The system wants me to go there so I can lvl up and get stronger faster. (I asked it before I came here.)
I was training in all of the basics till I reached lvl 25 in a month and then I went up to lvl 29 in the past 27 days or so. It got pretty tough to lvl up after lvl 25. Which is the lvl of a chunin.
I hope I explained how my life has been and I hope I garnered some sympathy, cause I really need some right now.
Ok. That¡¯s that. Tristan had been training since he got to lvl 11 and then the training stopped at lvl 25. This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there.
When reached lvl 25, he got the chunin badge. The chunin badge offers an extra of 10 agility points and another 5 agility points. Clearly you can tell it is very useful just by looking at it''s numbers.
The next month he received his next his next monthly mission. The mission was to become a disciple at the Ancestral stone.
It was around 2000 km away from the location he was in. After travelling for 27 days nonstop he was finally going to arrive at the place.
The cart slowed down and stopped at the side of the roadway.
¡°We''re here young lad.¡±
Tristan stopped his pushups and sat up. Working out recently had given him a lot of muscles. He wiped the sweat off from his face and got off the cart.
¡°Thanks old man.¡± the old man had really helped him by at least giving him a ride but unfortunately he couldn''t do anything for him.
Tristan took out the training clothes he had in his storage. The one he was wearing now was a custom styled Goku training clothes. The one he had taken out was Goku¡¯s normal training clothes. He had found them in the shop. They were pretty cheap and comfortable so he bought them.
¡°This is all I have old man. Take this, it''s a legendary item even though it''s fake.¡±
The old man was going to reject it kindly but seeing the youth in front of him with a serious expression he just accepted it.
¡°Wow! It''s quite good.¡±
The old man said while receiving the cloth and feeling the softness.
¡°It is a legendary(fake) item. You cannot underestimate it.¡±
Saying this Tristan looked at the trees near the roadway leading to the tall wall like structure. It looked like a large plateau but it¡¯s top was abnormally large and was covered with clouds. It looked really beautiful.
¡°Bye old man, time is of the essence. I have to leave¡±
Turning around and showing his back to the old man, Tristan waved while trying to look cool but it looks like our MC can''t look cool no matter what he does.
¡°Wait!¡±
The old man shouted trying to stop Tristan.
¡°You forgot your shirt in the cart!¡±
Tristan froze in his tracks. He cried in self sympathy.
''why? My cool moment is gone to waste even in front of a old man.¡¯
He quickly ran back up to the cart and snatched his white shirt before running into the forest.
The old man kept the clothes near him and got back on his way.
¡°Young people these days sure are weird.¡±
He looked at up the sky.
¡°Looks like it''s about to rain.¡±
He whipped the reins on the horse in an attempt to make them move faster. It looked like he wanted to reach where he was going fast.
¡°Ugh! Why the fuck is it raining?¡±
Tristan was climbing on the tall plateau like wall or rather he was running on it. The plateau was called the Ancestral plate.
It was large climb to the top and it was also the first step towards becoming a member of the Ancestral stone.
If you wanted to be a disciple at the Ancestral stone there were two conditions - being lesser than the age of 20 and passing the trials they have kept.
The first hurdle required one to climb up the ridiculously large Ancestral plate. Fortunately for our MC, he had a cheat. He could walk on walls and trees and all of that. All he had to do was attach his chakra to the wall. The only disadvantage was that he required a large amount of chakra if he wanted to climb the large wall.
Looks like all that training finally had some use.
To counter that he had the mud wall. Just build a mud wall and take a rest at regular intervals to spend chakra a little less and spend some time to rest to regain chakra.
But like always his plan failed and the mud wall would erode away pretty quickly due to the rain. The mud wall could take a lot of water but Tristan didn''t know why the rain was very heavy and it hit his face hard every time it fell.
¡®That''s just how this lame ass clan works I guess. First of all they have a lame naming sense, adding Ancestral to everything. Do they think it makes them look cool? Next, they are one of the top clans in the continent so of course their tests are tough, but seriously? Rain during climbing a fucking large ass wall? It was more like mercury.¡¯
The clouds around him surprisingly didn''t have any lightning or thunder. All it did was give out heavy drops of water.
¡°What''s wrong with this place?¡±
After he ran up beyond the clouds, all he saw was the stupid wall till great heights. Left, right, up or down. Nothing but wall.
¡°Fuck¡¡¡±
He tried to run up again but this time a great amount of force pushed him down. He quickly stuck his hand on the uneven wall and caught on to it tightly.
¡°Shit!¡±
Tak!
The rock supporting his leg broke and fell straight towards the clouds surrounding the wall.
Tristan''s heartbeat got faster and his breathing became erratic.
He looked at the rock which had fallen down as he tried not to imagine how it fells to fall down. The gravitational force had gotten higher all of a sudden.
Tristan tried to move but his hands felt jittery. You can''t blame him, he was close to falling to his death. He had not expected this or he would have made some preparations at least.
First a mercury rain and now a super high gravitational area. The gravity was so high that if he would try to walk on the wall, the chakra in his legs would get cut off and he would directly fall to his death.
He closed his eyes and tried to stabilize his heartbeat and took a deep breath in. He moved his hand higher and started climbing. This time he did normally.
His already smelly and sweaty body started sweating immensely.
¡°Fuck! ¡. A lot...tougher ...than I thought!¡±
He eventually got up the wall but his white clothes were now coloured with mud. The blood on his hands showed that climbing up here wasn''t easy.
The force of gravity vanished as he slowly crawled up the ground at the top of the wall. It was like taking off a huge boulder which was tied to his back.
It was very tiring for him to reach up here. He had underestimated the trial too much.
He looked around the place and all that came to sight was fog.
''Even the decoration at this place is weird.¡¯
After climbing on such a difficult terrain he had to see this. Seriously? Fog? Was fog the gift for him to clear the first trial?
He got up with his exhausted legs and walked around looking for some clues.
He found a door surrounded by fog. The door was decorated with gold, diamonds and precious stones but it wasn''t shining too much as there wasn''t a lot of light around this place.
Seeing the door Tristan decided to retract the statement he made before.
''Maybe their decoration style is a little overboard now.¡¯
He walked up to the door and opened it. Of course he tried to take off the diamonds or precious stones from the door. Sadly life is not that easy. If it was he would already be a badass hokage level ninja by now.
Torture of the doors
The moment the door opened was the moment Tristan''s life would change. He didn''t realise it now but he would in the future.
The door led to a big room. At the end of the room was a table. It looked like a table of a receptionist except the receptionist who usually greets with a smile was actually sleeping with a bubble coming out of her nose.
Tristan walked into the room and closed the door from behind.
He examined the room for a while. The dark blue colour of the walls especially attracted him. The walls looked simple but you could see beauty coming out of it. It was the kind of blue which he had never seen before.
It looked soothing as well as destructive. It reminded him of the calm sea and the violent sea. It reminded him of a still lake and the cracking lightning. The feeling of nature given off the wall was unexplainable. You could look at the wall continually and never get bored.
¡°So simple yet so complex.¡± he was reminded of this saying when he looked at the wall.
Tristan sighed in appreciation and walked towards the receptionist.
The receptionist was a woman with big ?? Ahem! She was wearing glasses and had a pretty face. The bags under her eyes showed how tired she was. Maybe that''s why she was sleeping?
Tristan held his chin.
''Should I wake her up or what?
Hmm¡¡¡¯
¡°Excuse me?¡±
He tried calling out but the woman didn''t respond at all.
¡°Excuse me!¡±
He tried raising his voice a little but it didn''t seem like it was working.
¡°EXCUSE ME!!¡±
He shouted at the top off his lungs and the woman finally got up with a start. The bubble on her nose finally popped.
¡°Ah!.. oh! Ah...um I''m sorry. How may I help you?¡±
She quickly fixed her poppy hair and adjusted her glasses.
¡°Pffft~ Hahaha, I thought it happened only in cartoon!¡±
The woman looked totally lost on why Tristan was be laughing and just continued asking Tristan some questions.
¡°Ahem! With the state you''re in, you probably climbed up the Ancestral plate. Please tell me if you would like to continue the test or quit and go back to the ground.¡±
¡°I think I''ll continue¡.. well it''s not like I have a choice.¡±
The woman looked at Tristan weirdly trying to figure out what he was trying to say.
¡°I don''t know what you mean by that but please walk to the door on the left to continue the trial.¡±
Tristan looked at where the woman had pointed and saw a door appear out of nowhere. His eyebrows squinted together as he noticed the similarities in summoning the door out of nowhere and the way he had been sent to Helios by the weird masked man.
¡°Oh by the way what''s up with the paint on the wall?¡±
Tristan had been attracted to the colour on the walls in this room and had been meaning to ask this to the receptionist for a while now.
¡°This? This has already been present since the day the Ancestral stone had been set up. Nobody really knows what it is made of nor who painted it. It''s more like the natural colour of the rock and has always been a mystery.¡±
The receptionist answered as if she was tired of repeatedly saying it so many times to people and took out a few papers from a drawer and started reading.
¡°ohh.. ok. Sure¡. Guess it''s my cue to leave. Adios.¡±
Tristan realised that the receptionist didn''t really like to talk about the blue colour and he just decided to leave towards the door left to the woman. He opened the door and walked in.
In the room, as soon as the door closed it disappeared just like how it had appeared and vanished into thin air.
The receptionist who was now reviewing stuff now, murmured to herself.
¡° All kinds of weirdos show up these days. What a shabby appearance! Good thing he showed up though or I would have slept through the day. Let''s get to work!¡±
Like she''s the one to talk¡..
She rolled here nonexistent sleeves up and put on a headband before she started working on her documents.
¡°What the hell happened here?¡±
Tristan looked at his surrounding which were now filled with blood and dead bodies. All that filled his eyes were dead bodies, rivers of blood and skeletons. The sky was bright red as if it were mirroring the colour of blood. Crows and vultures made noises as they flew down to the ground occasionally to eat.
Tritan¡¯s stomach hurled. The feeling of seeing rotten bodies and smelling the rueful stench at the same time was nauseous and disgusting. No matter how much he liked to fight and no matter how many monsters he had killed, it didn''t look as terrifying as this.
Blood and dead bodies everywhere? This definitely didn''t look good.
''is this a test? Cause I don''t think I''m gonna pass.¡¯
He started walking around but no matter how far he went the stench of blood and dead bodies always awaited him at the front.
He decided to stop for a while and think things through.
''Usually things like these are tests. This is just an endless loop until I figure out how to break it.¡¯
He closed his eyes and tried to to concentrate as hard as possible. The stench blocked his ability to think fast.
''How do I break the loop?..... How?.....¡¯
When he closed his eyes and tried to figure something out, he remembered reading a novel in which the MC had faced a similar problem.
''That¡¯s it! I just have to figure out what this messed up shit can teach me!
Think!....think! What can a field of bloodshed teach?¡¯
He put his hands on his head.
¡°Ah! Fuck it!¡±
He slammed his hand together and disrupted the chakra flow within his body.
The surrounding cracked and fell apart like glass almost immediately.
¡°Phew~ it was just an illusion. Fuck that was hard. It was like walking in a horror house with real ghosts!¡±
Tristan whole back was drenched with cold sweat. He hadn''t been able to figure out what the bloodshed was meant for but there was obviously more that one way to get out of it.
Tristan didn''t really mind seeing a battlefield but walking on it for a long amount of time while smelling them, watching them being eaten by scavengers, seeing rivers of blood and watching the limbs flinch occasionally was pretty traumatizing.
Fortunately for him, the illusion was very weak and he was able to break through it immediately.
¡°I guess that''s done? Is the test over?¡±
In the black space he saw another door appear with pink painted on it.
¡°More doors? Isn''t this great. Looks like the Ancestral stone really likes doors for some reason. Tastes of some people some times astonishes oneself.¡±
He walked towards the door and stood in front of it. Taking a deep breath in and preparing for whatever was waiting for him inside he opened the door. For some reason he was feeling very weird right now. Just standing next to it made his heartbeat faster. Fear? Nervousness? He didn''t know.Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation.
He expected to walk into some kind of forest but the first thing that greeted his legs was air.
¡°AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!
WHAT THE FUCK?!¡±
He had to experience yet another free fall.
Thump~
The sweet sound of someone falling on a bed rang out in a room.
¡°Argh! What''s with this world and it''s free falls?¡±
As soon as he got up he felt blood rush into his head and he felt his third leg getting stronger.
Blood dripped on the bed while Tristan sat on it dumbfounded at the scene in front of him.
''Girls?! Why are there Girls here?!¡¯
Plump girls with huge breast and booties were sitting on the bed giggling softly.
¡°Hello handsome. Want to have some fun ?¡±
¡°Hell yeah! Wait¡ wait! What is this?¡±
He had a freefall and somehow ended up landing on a soft bed with pink colour everywhere. Seriously he could see even the air flowing around with pinkness.
¡°First of all what''s with all this pink stuff and why is my nose bleeding?!¡±
Sigh~ our poor MC. This is what happens when you don''t date till your thirty.
¡°Why so serious little guy? Are these sisters not to your liking?¡±
Well some of you might be thinking why there were calling him little guy even though he was thirty. That''s basically because the system changed his bone structure along with his looks to make him look young.
The system comes with advantages too you know!
¡°Its-its not that¡ wait why are you taking my pants off?! Wait wait wait! Don''t take your clothes off!! Where the fuck did I land up this time? Am I even in the right place?¡±
Tristan wanted to check his own intelligence. He even pinched himself to see if he was dreaming or not.
He slammed his hands together trying to disrupt the flow of chakra within his body but nothing happened this time.
¡°Shit! It''s not a ninjutsu? What does this test even want me to do? Aaah! I told you to stop pulling my pants off!¡±
¡°Don''t keep talking all to yourself young guy. You look pretty dirty, come let us sisters wash you up.¡±
Said a woman with voluptuous breast while shaking them with a sly smile.
Tristan had an instant reaction. It was pretty hard for him to keep his calm. He could feel his blood boil. He really wanted to jump on the woman but his mind said not to. He felt his saliva go down his throat.
Gulp~
''maybe? Just one touch?¡¯
He tried to get his hands closer to the woman but a certain unfeeling voice interrupted him.
Please come back to your senses host. It''s clearly a trap. Do you want to die?
Tristan''s hand froze in mid air.
¡°.... Fuck¡ can¡¯t I have just one touch?¡±
The women on the bed nodded their head while smiling naughtily thinking that he was talking to them and all of them replied unanimously in chorus.
¡°Of course.¡±
No.
¡°Fuck you light¡.¡±
Tristan retracted his hand and jumped off the bed, leaving all the women puzzled why he suddenly decided to leave.
¡°Sorry ladies, looks like it''s a no today.¡±
Saying that he quickly ran away from the bed afraid that the longer he stayed the more he would want to stay.
As he ran away the pink atmosphere slowly vanished and he entered into a black void again.
''sigh~ props for the Ancestral stone to give a lot of torture to men. Many people would probably fail in that test. It''s basically checking your control on your body. Thankfully it seems like light can be useful sometimes.¡¯
This time he was sure of the fact that another stupid door would appear in front of him.
And just like he thought another door awaited for him in the front.
He didn''t know how he found the doors but it''s like they knew where he was and they always appeared at where he was. It was a weird feeling.
¡°Let''s hope it''s nothing weird this time¡.¡±
He opened the door and walked in yet again.
The moment the door opened was the moment Tristan''s life would change. He didn''t realise it now but he would in the future.

He opened the door and walked in yet again.
Hulk, masked man or both?
Tap~ tap~
Tristan walked into the isolated room. At Least he didn''t have a free fall this time. He looked around and noticed a man on a chair with a mask on.
It was bronze mask and it only had two holes in it for the eyes. Apparently it sensed Tristan''s presence, because his eyes started glowing with a blue light and he got up.
The chair that he sat on looked like a century old one. It had dust on it and parts of it were eroded e.t.c
The man man was 8 feet tall and had a menacing presence that made people want to run away.
He was wearing a tight top and a loose bottom. The muscles all over his body twitched as he got up from his chair.
¡°Welcome. to the last. and final test human. It seems like you have passed the test of courage and the test of responsibility.¡±
Tristan squinted at the bronze masked man¡¯s husky voice.
¡°You remind me of hulk¡. More like the bronze hulk¡.¡±
¡°What are you talking about human?¡±
¡°It''s nothing ¡.. ¡°
Judging with the way he was speaking, the masked man was definitely not ¡®human¡¯ and nor was he friendly. Same goes for his voice.
¡°In the Last test you have to fight with me human, but do not worry. All you have to do to pass is to make me move back¡.¡±
¡°I see¡. Nothing to worry eh?¡± Tristan looked at the humongous sized muscles that seemed to be made of steel with despair.
¡°Your right¡.. absolutely nothing to worry about.¡±
¡°Well then human, what are you waiting for? Defeat me if you want to pass the test.¡±
The bronze hulk stood on the flat floor in a relaxed position waiting for Tristan to attack.
¡°Ummm¡. System? What level is this guy exactly?¡±
He is an elite warrior.
Calculating power in level¡
Calculating, please wait.
The result are out!
The level of the being standing in front of you is around 65-70.
Warning! Please be careful. The opponent is too strong for the host. The system recommends the host to retreat.
¡°You don''t have to tell me¡ I already want to. Look at those muscles, I think even the kunai would barely scrape through that shit¡..
And don''t tell me to quit when you already gave me a suicide mission!
Tristan took a deep breath in and got into his fighting stance.
He looked at the bronze hulk sternly. If he wanted to become a disciple at the Ancestral stone then he has to defeat the big guy. Only way to escape death.
¡°I just have to make him take a step back right? Looks pretty easy.¡±
The only reason Tristan took the system¡¯s death warnings seriously was because, once during his taijutsu training in lower levels, he did not completed a mission. The system had made him undergo a painful experience that had left him powerless that time. It was an unforgettable experience I''ll give you that.
That was when he realised that the system actually meant it when it said he would die if he didn''t complete a mission.
Fortunately the system decided to forgive the host one time because he didn''t know of the full prowess of the system yet.The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
HE DIDN''T WANT TO EXPERIENCE THAT PAIN EVER AGAIN EVEN IF IT MEANT THAT THE SYSTEM WOULD FORGIVE¡.. wait, what had he done to ask forgiveness anyway?
Tristan ran up to the masked man. His body twisted as he used all the force in cells to kick the man on his neck.
¡°Leaf hurricane!¡±
Tak!
The bronze hulk caught the kick with one of his hands.
¡°What?!¡±
Tristan shouted with shock. He had practising taijutsu for quite sometime now. The fact that his kick was caught so easily was a shock to him.
¡°Good speed. No strength.¡±
Spouting something he gripped Tristan''s leg hardly and swung his arms to throw him away.
¡°ACK!¡±
He hit the ground far way and rolled a few times before stabilized himself by kicking on the ground and using a kunai to stop the recoil.
¡°Fuck!¡±
A sweat drop fell from his cheeks.
¡°Abnormally strong¡. He is actually a fucking hulk!¡±
If the enemy was at similar strength he could just use his speed to slowly destroy the enemy but the opponent was not your everyday warrior.
With a kunai he ran up to the masked man again. He slashed the kunai towards the masked man.
¡°Close quarters? You''re looking for death!¡±
The masked man punched down on Tristan¡¯s head without any reservations. He didn''t even care about the kunai.
His fist hit Tristan¡¯s head and made it bend in a weird shape.
Poof~
¡°Hmm?¡±
The masked man blurted out as he found out a piece of wood in front of him. The kunai slashed him but it didn''t even leave a scratch.
Clang~
(Author: Body replacement jutsu!)
Tristan suddenly slid down from the hulk¡¯s space between his legs from behind him.
¡°Raiton ibuki!¡±
He made a hand sign and released a bolt of lightning on the masked man¡¯s crotch.
¡°When?¡±
The masked man asked surprisedly due to Tristan''s move.
After finishing his attack and picking up the fallen kunai from the ground he got up again and faced the hulk again.
All Tristan could think now was one thing.
¡°Don''t you have a fucking crotch?! Why the fuck are you still standing?!¡±
¡°A petty trick human. It seems like I didn''t tell you I am not a human¡±
¡°Fuck?! Even I know that! But don''t even monsters have reproductive organs?!¡±
¡°I am not a monster.¡±
¡°What are you then?¡±
¡°I don''t know.¡±
¡°The fuck?! Are you playing with me?¡±
''let''s just stop talking with this monotone idiot and figure out a way to make him take a step back.¡¯
Tristan noticed that although the hulk''s clothes had become a little black, nothing had happened to the hulk. In fact since the start of the battle he hadn''t even moved an inch.
¡°Looks like I have to use my new move now.. but I need to execute it properly.¡±
¡°Shadow clone!¡±
Poof~
A person similar to Tristan appeared near him. It was his clone.
¡°Another petty trick? it will not work on me.¡±
¡°Oh shut up muscle head. ¡°
He ran up to the masked man and used mud wall in front of him.
¡°Hmph!¡±
The masked man snorted as he jumped over and beyond the mud wall in front of the clone.
Tristan¡¯s lips lifted up. The hulk had fallen for his trap. The hulk had abnormal strength and defence but he had a low speed. Tristan didn''t know much about him so he probably can move faster but the hulk certainly hadn''t showed his speed up till now. He had not used any attack moves until now either. All he had had done were some simple movements.
Tristan was hoping for the hulk to stupidly punch the wall but he did something even better. He had jumped and landed in front of his clone. He probably sensed that the clone was weaker than the real one. Just made his work easier to do.
¡°Shadow bind!¡±
Tristan usee shadow bind while the hulk landed on the ground. His shadow twisted at his words and sped up towards the hulk.
The hulk who was about to punch the clone suddenly froze and his fist stopped in mid air.
¡°Do it! I can''t hold it for any longer!¡± shouted Tristan. The clone quickly responded and started his hand seals.
Zrrk!
The shadow retreated as it wasn''t able to hold on to the hulk even for 2 seconds.
But this time was enough for the clone to complete the hand seals.
¡°Raiton! Raikyu!¡±
A yellow ball of dense lightning appeared in front of the clone and blasted off for the abdomen of the hulk.
The hulk''s fist hit empty air as the clone vanished due to deficiency of chakra within it.
Boom!
Smoke and small pieces of clothes flew everywhere around the hulk. Tristan watched on carefully from a safe distance trying to see any changes in the smoke filled area.
The smoke slowly cleared out. Tristan still stood on cautiously.
The hulk came into view as he stood in his previous position. Like a statue who was punching air.
Tristan looked at his trying to figure out what he was doing when the hulk suddenly shouted.
¡°You have passed.¡±
¡°What? When?¡± Tristan shouted hysterically.
¡°Look at my feet.¡±
Listening to the hulk, he looked towards the hulk''s feet. He saw two small black marks which looked like they were caused by friction between the ground and the hulk''s legs.. They were only about one inch long.
¡°That''s it? I only had to make you move so little?¡±
¡°Yes.¡±
¡°ah fuck it! I don''t even want to talk about this anymore.¡±
The hulk slowly adjusted his body posture and walked towards Tristan. In his hand he carried a bronze plate that had appeared out of nowhere.
¡°Here, give this to the woman you are going to meet. This is proof that you have passed all the tests.¡±
He handed Tristan the bronze plate and snapped his fingers.
¡°Not another door is it? ¡.fuck it actually is a door.¡±
A door appeared in front of him and opened on its own.
¡°At Least I don''t have to open it this time.
Time to go Hulk. See you never.¡±
Tristan went into the door leaving the the hulk behind alone.(not)
The hulk/masked man¡¯s blue glow in his mask dimmed bit by bit as he walked to his chair and sat on it.
Before the light in his mask went off, all he wondered about was, what a Hulk was.
Then it looked like the hulk had gone to a deep slumber.
¡°Didn''t he tell me that was the last test? What in the world is this?¡±
Strange things everywhere.
¡°What is this?¡±
Tristan looked at himself in front of him. It was as if there was a mirror in front of him. When he walked left, the image walked left. When he walked right, the image would do the same.
He walked towards the image but the image moved backwards. Running towards it was also useless as the image only ran backwards while showing its face to him.
¡°Where am I?¡±
There was nothing in this place except his own reflection . No matter what he did nothing seemed to happen.
¡°Wait a minute! That bronze plate!¡±
He took out a bronze plate from his pockets and held it in his hands. The bronze plate flashed as he held it in front of the reflection.
A light shone from the bronze plate and shot out towards the reflection¡¯s bronze plate.
Space around him twisted and morphed into a field of bloodshed.
Meanwhile in another place -
A person in a similar situation as Tristan was standing in front of his own reflection.
A hoodie was wrapped around his head and the long cloak the person wore made it difficult to analyse his/her gender.
Boom~
The golden ball in his hand shone with a bright light before disintegrating into ashes.
A door appeared in front of the person and he walked into it.
Tristan looked on as people killed each other. Building were destroyed. Blood was splattered everywhere. Warriors fought in air. Fireballs, lightning and all kinds of elements crashed into the ground leaving it scarred.
¡°What the fuck is going on?!¡±
Tristan had tried disrupting the chakra in his body thinking it was a genjutsu but it didn''t seem to work.
Tristan didn''t really mind all the bloodshed but why does he get stuck into these stupid places?
A fireball coincidentally entered his eyesight. Before he could dodge it, he had already become meat paste. Maybe, he didn''t know because his consciousness was sucked back into reality.
Clank! Clank! Clank!....
Chains wrapped all over his body while he his head was still trying to catch up with him.
¡°Shit!¡±
By the time he realised what had happened, he was already wrapped around in chains.
Warning! Please escape by any means possible.
Warning! Chances of death are now at 100 percent. Please escape as soon as possible to decrease the percentage of death.
Poof~Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
¡°Body replacement!¡±
A log replaced his own position while he landed at 25 metres away from his original place.
Blood flowed from his fingers as he slammed his hand on the ground.
¡°Reverse summoning jutsu!¡±
The chains that tried to capture him hit the ground and cracked it open but he was already gone.
The winds blew throw the window taking along with it the smoke that had accumulated in the room.
¡°Aaah! This is life.¡± Said the old man lying on his couch while drinking some hookah.
Looks like the old chap had finally finished all his tasks and was finally relaxing but a shrill noise just had to interrupt his period of relaxation.
BEEP! BEEP!
¡°Sigh~ Shut up I can hear ya!¡±
He slammed his hands on the table and threw his hookah away.
Swish!
The old man walked into a portal and appeared at the place where Tristan had vanished.
¡°Heh? Whats this? Shattered pieces of wood?¡±
He looked around to find anything else but he could not find anything.
¡°Looks like someone managed to escape¡ who''s trying to cause trouble this time?¡±
¡°Damned their ancestors! What the hell is up with that place!¡±
¡°Stop your nagging and get the hell out!¡±
A small fox with a flame on his head angrily barked on Tristan''s face, tired of hearing him curse whatever he was cursing.
The fox- Vuur was his only summoning monster. He had found it when he was going through his training period. His mission was to capture the little midget alive so he could have it as his first summoning monster.
After capturing it with great difficulty, he kept the fox in his system space because it was too troublesome having the little fox outside.
Light had created a space dedicated specially for summoning monsters so Tristan didn''t have a thing to worry about.
¡°Being trapped here and attacking whenever I am commanded to is already tough as it is and I have bear with your nagging as well! ¡°
¡°Shut up little midget, if it wasn''t for your ability to talk I wouldn''t have even taken you as my first summoning monster. All you know is how to shoot a little fireballs.¡±
¡°You think I like being with you! Freaking release me already!¡±
Full of anger and reluctance to accept that it had become a pet of a human, the little fox jumped up and scratched Tristan''s face.
¡°Ouch! ¡¡±
¡°Little Bastard.. you want a fight?¡±
Please stop wasting time and summon yourself to the Ancestral mirror again. You don''t have a lot of time to waste. Only one day is left before the time limit of the mission ends.
Tristan stopped himself from kicking the little brat and prepared to leave this place.
¡°Chech, consider yourself lucky. Next time I meet you I''ll fucking rip your paws off.¡±
¡° Hmph! We¡¯ll see, who rips whose paws off!¡±
Tristan reverse summoned himself yet again to appear at the same place he had been attacked at.
Nothing was happening around him. There was only silence looming in the air, he couldn''t find anything that could relate to his earlier encounter. The chains had disappeared and the ground wasn''t cracked either.
¡°Was I summoned in the wrong place?¡±
He was expecting to find those chains again but what he did not expect to find was his reflection again. He was prepared if he found those chains but it looks like he worried for nothing.
One thing that still loomed around his mind was that why would something attacked him when he hadn''t even done anything to deserve it.
¡°Was it because of the bronze plate?¡±
No, I can assure you that it wasn''t because of the bronze plate. I do not know why the mirror would cause a mistake when it usually doesn''t happen but I guess there can be exceptions some times.
Use the bronze plate again, it shouldn''t happen another time.
¡°How do you know all of this and what is this place.¡±
It is the Ancestral mirror. It has two serves two purposes to the Ancestral stone.
One- it puts a person in a infinite loop where he/ she roams around aimlessly until they die.
Two- anyone who wants to enter should use the bronze plate to enter. When they show the bronze plate, the mirror investigates that person''s mind to find out what motives you have to enter the Ancestral stone.
If it is for a negative purpose you will die no matter how powerful you are.
If you have no Ill feelings towards the Ancestral stone, you can enter without a hassle
¡°so your telling me it wanted to kill me back then because I had bad thoughts about this place?¡±
Yes
¡°I dont have any ill feelings towards this place!... Well, maybe a little but but it isn''t enough a reason to kill me!¡±
Yes, and that is why I said it had made a mistake.
¡°Why didn''t you tell me about this before?¡±
It wouldn''t change anything.
¡°...¡±
It was way too tiring to talk to Light, than he had imagined. He took out the Bronze plate from his pocket again.
This time there weren''t any weird illusions, only your regular- ¡®space doors¡¯ that could magically take you from anywhere to somewhere.
Tristan was back again in the reception room where he was captured by the beauty of the paint on the walls again.
This time around the receptionist was working seriously, looking over documents and using her pen to write here and there.
''How is this woman able to do her work without looking at the paint on the wall? Some women don''t know how to appreciate beauty.¡¯
¡°Hey! I''m back again¡±
¡°Yes, I can see that.¡±
The receptionist replied while still going through her documents and blocked her nose with a hand because of the sudden assault of stinking smell.
¡°Please take a bath as soon as you arrive, good luck.¡±
Displeased with the disgusting smell wafting around her, she clicked her fingers and opened up a portal throwing Tristan into it.
¡°Oy! Oy! Aren''t you supposed to congratulate me with a smile? Wait! Don''t just throw me in!
Ahhhhhhhhhh!¡±
I smell bad?
The sun shined brightly on all of people on the streets. One laughed, one played and others just did some window shopping. One thing was certain, everybody was having a wonderful time.
Well¡ everyone except one person. Yeah, you guessed it (maybe?) Tristan. Wherever he went people blocked their noses and quickly scooted away.
¡°Do I really smell that bad?¡± Sniff* sniff*
¡°Fuck, I smell bad.¡±
Confident that the kind looking woman wouldn''t reject him, he walked towards her with a big grin.
¡°Hey, ma''am could you¡.¡± Before he could finish the baby in the woman¡¯s arm started crying.
¡°WAAAH! Monster! WAAAH!¡±
What would happen next? Of course he would be seen as a bad guy for no reason. The woman glared at him and walked away trying to calm the baby while controlling the urge to block her nose.
¡°Don''t look at me like that! It''s not my fault I''ve been trying to complete a mission alright?¡±
Trying to convince the people around him who stared daggers at him with their hands on their noses. He ran away without any reservations.
?? ¡°What is up with my sad life?¡±
While he was busy running away, he spotted the old man who had given him a lift here.
Screech!
¡°Old man!¡±
¡°Well, well look who''s here? Passed the test eh?¡±
¡°Sure did¡¡±
¡°Old man, how did you get here?¡±
¡°I was here long ago young man. Anyone can come here. This is the market place! Ancestral stone is the only clan on barren continent that has an open market!...¡±
Cough! Cough!
Quickly blocking his nose, the old man backed away from Tristan.
¡°Why do you smell so bad?¡±
¡°I don''t know! Maybe it''s because I had to climb a fucking wall! Maybe it''s because I was too busy completing a mission, that I didn''t bathe for three days!¡±
¡°Sigh~ that''s enough young man. You don''t have to cry.¡±
With great difficulty the old man removed his hand from his nose.
¡°Old man!¡±
Tristan jumped in for a hug but it didn''t look like the old man wanted one.
¡°Wait! Wait! Don''t get so near!¡±
¡°Fuck you''re the same!¡±
¡°Well what do you expect?!¡±
¡°.........¡±
¡°Look don''t get so depressed. Just go to the Ancestral stone. They have dorms where a disciples stay at. Since you passed the test they''ll give you one for free. Just go take a bath and you''ll be fine!¡±If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Tristan looked at the old man with tears in his eyes.
¡°That''s it! That''s the problem! I don''t know where I have to go! Whenever I try to ask they run away!¡±
¡°Don''t cry for everything! Just head north- east from here. You''ll find the entrance there. You did receive the bronze plate right?¡±
¡°I did, you know a awful lot about the Ancestral stone don''t you?¡±
¡° Ahem! I am a old man y''know, besides I am a regular at this place. Anyway! I gotta run young man. Got some things I have to do.¡±
He waved at Tristan and walked to a nearby stall.
¡°Wait old man¡¡±
Tristan was conflicted whether he needed to ask him about the chains at the Ancestral mirror but he had an eerie feeling something really bad would happen if he did.
¡°What is it?¡± Asked the old man.
¡°Nothing! Goodbye!¡±
Running with all the power he had in him. He had only two things on his mind.
¡®Food, bath, food, bath, food, bath, food, bath, food, bath.¡±
Like the old man had directed he had run north westwards. The main entrance was about a mile away from the market area.
There were two guards standing guard. Both of them had full body armour on with a Lance in their hands.
A gigantic board loomed over the stone gates. The words Ancestral stone written on it instilled fear in someone when they look at it.
¡°Um, I''m a new guy here. Here¡¯s the Bronze plate.¡±
Thankfully it seemed like the guards couldn''t smell much cause they didn''t act weirdly even when Tristan was near them.
They looked at the bronze plate for a while before handing it back to Tristan.
¡°Here, please keep it safe. It will be your identity card if you want to enter the clan.¡±
Loud noises were created when the two guards opened the doors. Tristan entered while the two doors were closed from behind.
¡°That guy smelled bad.¡±
¡°Yeah we can''t even block anything in these goddamn suits. By the way¡. How many days since we met a woman?¡±
¡°It''s been pretty long.¡±
Tristan curiously looked around. What would a fantasy world clan look like?
¡°OMFG.¡±
Greenery everywhere. Literally, there were plants all around the entrance. Disciples had a uniform which they wore while doing the chores.
There were mountains at far away distances and a few tall buildings here and there.
Everything was just great! His hard work paid off! At Least it was not a place where Light told him to come to troll him.
Soon a disciple walked up to him.
¡°Hey! I am new here! Can you tell me where i have to go?¡±
¡°Sure! It''s there¡± he pointed towards a place but he covered his nose and ran away.
¡°The fuck, wasn''t he fine just a second ago?¡±

Ding~ congratulations for obtaining the wind elemental affinity!
¡°Yes! Enter that damned store.¡±
Confirm purchase?
¡°Hell yeah!¡±
Ding~ congratulations for obtaining the Sharingan. The system will now integrate it within you please bear with it.
Disciples around him stared at him worriedly. Watching a person lying on the ground wriggling around like he was in pain but was actually enjoying it was definitely weird.
Integration done! Enjoy!
¡°Yes! Yes! Finally ! Finally! I have the Sharingan"
He leapt in the air madly and shouted at the top of his lungs.
What would a person do when he obtains the Sharingan? Use it of course!
¡°Sharingan!¡±
¡°Awesome! Although it''s only one dan! It''s just how the manga described!¡±
The disciples were spooked out due to his weird behaviour and some of them even went away to call their seniors.
¡°Senior a mad person just entered the clan!¡±
Another mad person just like him walked towards the entrance.
¡°What¡¯s all this ruckus about?¡±
¡°S-s-senior it''s a new- new face¡¡±
¡°Shut it, Hmph! doesn''t even know how to speak.¡±
He had sharp teeth like a shark. His red hair rolled in the wind, it was as if flames had given birth on his head. Overall he just looked like a really mean and strong person, your regular bully.
¡°Aye! Don''t cause a fucking riot at the entra¡.¡±
Before the redhead could say something Tristan punched him in the face due to his excitement.
His face tilted to the side as he stood his ground with his feet.
¡°You, fucking, fucktard¡.¡±
Everyone around them shouted in chorus-
¡°uh- oh¡±
¡°Oh oops, sorry man! I was just trying to¡¡±
This time before he could finish what he was saying the red head smashed his fist into Tristan''s stomach.
Boom~
A shockwave spread out as Tristan was sent flying through the air like a rocket. He slammed into at least three trees before coming to a stop.
Blood littered the ground as Tristan struggled to stand up.
¡°Hmph! I don''t know who you are new kid but don''t get too cocky.¡±
Tristan stood up and spit the mouthful of blood he was holding. Instead of feeling pain, his whole body shook with excitement.
¡°Heh! I don''t usually like starting things but you asked for it!
I needed to try out the Sharingan anyway! ¡°
The head of Ancestral stone?
Tristan stood up and dashed towards the red headed kid.
¡°Sharingan!¡±
The red head tightened his muscles. The temperature around him rose, as small sparks of flames kept appearing and disappearing near his body.
All the other disciples around them started running away. Some went to the higher authority to alert them and make them stop the fight, while others watched on from the distance to see what the new disciple was capable of.
There was a tall tree nearby. A curly white haired kid sat on it and watched the fight go on.
¡°Ohhhh! Should be interesting¡.¡±
The red haired scrunched his fist and flames burst out. He reached out towards Tristan and punched him.
¡°Flame hand!!¡¯
¡® Fuck! He''s not even aiming, he¡¯s just using brute force.¡¯
Tristan jumped up and somersaulted in the air before landing behind the red head. He threw a kick on the red head¡¯s neck.
¡°Leaf hurricane!¡±
The red head quickly turned behind and punched with flame hand.
¡°Fast! But these red eyes aren''t just for show you know!¡±
Before the red head could punch his leg, Tristan quickly changed the direction of his kick and avoided the hit.
''Shit! That was too close for comfort.¡¯
Tristan thought when he looked at his burnt pants and skin.
''If I didn''t have the Sharingan, I wouldn''t have been able to dodge it.¡¯
¡°Aye¡ Damn midget, if all you know is to dodge like a rat, then fucking die already!¡±
Both of red head¡¯s arms lit up with flames. He kicked ground and launched himself into the air.
The surrounding disciples watched on with worry in their eyes.
''Hmph, fucking idiot launched himself into the air and left full of openings on himself. I can still see him clearly but the Sharingan is depleting too much amount of chakra. Oh well, It should be fine for another Raikyu!¡¯
Tristan quickly finished his hansigns while looking at the opponent sharply. A mass of thunder collected in front of him as sparks of electricity flew all around it.
¡°Raikyu!!¡±
The mass of lightning flew towards the red head while he was still in the air.
¡°What?!¡±
The red head slammed both of his fists on the ball of lightning which he didn''t expect to see all of a sudden.
The white haired man on the tree stood up and revealed a paper talisman in his hands.
¡°It would a shame to end it all with an explosion wouldn''t it.¡±
He threw the paper talisman which flew towards the red head and the ball of lightning.
As soon as it touched the fire and lightning energies, it seemed to absorb it. The ball of lightning and the fire on the red head''s arm disappeared along with the paper talisman.
Tristan was in complete shock and confused of what had just happened. The red head landed on top of Tristan.

¡°Get off fucking pink head!¡±
¡°Who are you calling pink head you little midget?!¡±
Both of them started scrambling and fighting each other while they were down. Just as they were done with it a loud and clear voice full of authority sounded in their ears.
¡°Stop it both of you! Guards capture them and drag them to my office!¡±
A tall and buffed up old man with a white beard walked in with two guards beside him.
¡°It''s the Dean!¡± The disciples shouted, while they quickly scrambled away trying not to be spotted by the Dean.
Some of the fools who were still around were startled by the dean¡¯s shout and ran away. ¡°What are you guys watching? Is this a show?! Get on with your work!¡±
The white haired kid became alert as soon he saw the Dean and tried to run away but he was already too late.
¡°You! On the tree! Don''t try to run, I believe you know what you did wrong? Come to the office yourself now or you will be washing the clothes of 500 disciples in a day for 2 months.¡±
The white haired man froze in his tracks. He felt goosebumps all over his body when the Dean stared at him.
''Shit!¡¯
¡°A-ah yeah! I-ill be right there.¡±
Tristan and the red haired kid were captured by the guards and no matter how they resisted they just couldn''t get out of the hold of those guards.
¡°Fine! Fine! I''ll follow you alright, just let go of me! I''m not an illiterate.¡± Tristan shouted in hopes of getting himself freed.
The Dean looked into Tristan''s eyes for a few seconds. ¡°Leave the new kid, let him follow us. Keep a hold of Alex and make sure that Seth is coming along with us!¡±
¡°Yes sir!¡± The guard replied as he let go of Tristan''s arms.
¡°So your name is Alex.¡± Said Tristan looking towards the red head.
¡°Shut up midget, your voice is irritating.¡±
¡°The hell is your problem?!¡± Said Tristan, annoyed at Alex''s attitude.
¡°If it weren''t fer ya I wouldn''t be in this mess, you little midget.¡±
¡°Stop calling me a midget you pink headed girl.¡± Tristan shook his head sarcastically. ¡°Can''t even take a punch quietly these days.¡±
¡°What did you say you little midget?! Your stupid kick was like a mosquito bite!¡±
¡°What? Nice circus tricks you got there, merely flame arms. Couldn''t really do much could it?¡±
The Dean who was listening quietly couldn''t handle their bickering anymore.
¡°Shut up! Both of you!¡±
¡°¡° Hmph! ¡±¡± both of them said in chorus.
The white haired kid named Seth ran up to the both of the and smiled brightly while hopping around.
¡°You both sure make a nice couple!¡±
¡®Who the fuck is this guy?!¡¯ both Tristan and Alex thought, annoyed by his smug face and his nonsense.
The Dean quietly stared back at the three of them as if he would kill them if they said another word.
Seth rose his hands in surrender while his smile went from happy to awkward because of his fear.
''Stupid kids¡¯ thought the Dean as he walked.
They reached the office in a few minutes. It wasn¡¯t much honestly. Just some wood which had been put together neatly to make a two storied building. There were a few windows here and there to provide ventilation.
The gatekeeper opened the door to let everyone inside.
The Dean walked inside and sat on his chair. Three kids including Tristan stood straight opposite to him with a table between them.
¡°You! How many times have I told you not to start a fight in the pathways!¡± The Dean shouted as he pointed his finger towards Alex.
¡°And you! Haven''t I told you not to use talismans without a reason?!¡± He said as he pointed towards Seth.
¡°Alex don''t you dare doze off! Seth stop whistling and listen to me!¡± The Dean looked at the two trouble making problem kids. He took a deep breath to calm himself.
¡°The next time something like this happens, I''ll make sure I report it to the head, got it? Oh and you''ll also receive a truckload of punishment and you''ll spend time at the desolate rooms for a month. Am I clear?¡±
¡°What?!¡± Seth shouted. ¡°Everything else is fine but reporting it to the head? That''s too harsh!¡±
Alex just snorted and pretended he did not care but even he could feel some cold sweat on his back.
¡°What? What are you guys so afraid of?¡± Asked the clueless Tristan who didn''t know a thing about what was going on.
¡°Don''t worry I won''t report it this time. But you''re not off the hook that easily. Alex, you will be sent on a 7 day mission. Seth, you are responsible for showing the new guy around.¡±
¡°No?!¡± Shouted Seth and Alex at the same time. Doing troublesome things was just not their style.
¡°Well I''m afraid that''s not a option for you but there is an alternative~¡± the Dean replied with a sadistic tone while cracking his knuckles.
Seth and Alex both unwilling accepted their fate as they stood silently. The Dean looked towards Tristan.
¡°So your the new guy?¡±
¡°Huh? Oh! Yeah ! I''m new here!¡±
¡°What''s your name?¡±
¡°It''s Tristan! Tristan Davis!¡±
¡°Since your new, I won''t say much but don''t get into messes like these often and watch yourself. Since admissions are closed, I believe you took the unorthodox way to get in?¡±
¡°What are you talking about?¡± Tristan replied with confusion.
¡°The bronze batch. You already have it don''t you? Keep it safe, it¡¯s your identification card here at the Ancestral stone.¡±
¡°Ok!¡±
The Dean looked over all three of them another time. ¡°Ok, you can leave. But I don''t want to see this another time.¡±
¡°Wait a minute. Doesn''t this tri suns or something deserve punishment too?¡± Seth asked with the feeling of being wronged.
¡°Do you want more chores? I was already pretty lenient on you buy giving you a simple task. You''ll fill a bucket of water tomorrow and bring it back.¡±
¡°What?! But¡ but..¡±
¡°Two buckets¡±
¡°Come on! All right! I get it.¡± Seth decided to keep his mouth shut if he didn''t want to invite unnecessary trouble to himself.
¡°Ok you can go now.¡± The Dean said. He took a few documents from the table and started working on them.
Seth walked out as if they had received a boon from heaved while Alex groaned and looked annoyed and irritated at the same time. Tristan pondered about a few things as he reached towards the door.
¡°Oh I forgot to say something.¡± Said the Dean.
''what is it now?¡¯ Seth thought. Alex just walked away without bothering to even listen.
¡°You can go I was going to say it Tristan anyway.¡± said the Dean. Seth breathed a sigh of relief as he walked outside.
Tristan looked at the Dean waiting for him to speak, he wondered if he was going to do some chores as well.
¡°Welcome to Ancestral stone.¡±
Tristan looked happy and almost cried out. ''Finally! Finally I met someone who sees my efforts!¡¯
¡°Yes, thanks!¡± Tristan happily walked out of the door.
¡°Oh, and take a bath, you stink.¡± Said the Dean which totally spoilt the happy mood.
¡°Argh!¡±
