《End of Tales: Gaia》


 First Tale: Prologue

    ¡®Earth, August 31 3117. The world is at peace and Games started to develop again.


    [Second World] A VRMMO game, made by my uncle Sid, known for its violence, free movements, and too much realism because of that it was divided into two categories. First is the rainbow category where you can join almost instantly and the second is the Black and white category or referred to as a Real game. Joining is hard, you will be taken to a certain test with regards to mental and body health and also parents¡¯ consent. The second world features live events in movies or on shows which gained the real game its fame. But enough of that because right now. I am spending my last moments inside the [Second World].


    It was a beautiful setting. A field full of flowers as the wind blows gently carrying some of the petals in the air. I walk straight through the field as the screen appears in front of me.

    . The sweet fragrance of the flower enters as I walk past until I reached the top of the cliff. Below appears the sparkling water of the beautiful blue sea as the sea serpent monsters jumped from afar enjoying their life before being hunted down by players. As I enjoyed the view, I was taken by surprise as someone hugged me from behind crying.


    ¡°Lyn¡±, I said as I held her hand before I turn around slowly to face her. ¡°Please, go back. The doctor can still save you.¡±, she said looking at me with a tearful face. ¡°The doctor can only extend my life not save me. I have been here for 10 years and yet my body is slowly weakening. It is a rare disease, not even the advance researchers and doctors could find the cure.¡±, I said as I smile and wiped her tears. ¡°But even so!!! Why!!? If you are still alive! They can still find a way to cure you¡­ so please-¡°. ¡°I can feel it¡±, I interrupted her as she begs me to come back to the operating room. ¡°My body is so weakened I doubt the medicine could keep me alive for a week. So please stop asking me to go back. It¡¯s hard to look at you guys every single day at the hospital. I don¡¯t want to burden you all any longer.¡±


    ¡°That¡¯s not true! We all love you that¡¯s why your family and we your friends always come to see you.¡± She yelled looking at me with angry eyes soon as I said my piece. I was about to tell her my feelings when suddenly my sight went black. All I can hear was her voice in a panic calling out to me. ¡°Nil! What¡¯s wrong?! Nil! Niiil!!!¡±.


    My head was spinning but I already told my uncle not to log me out unless my heart stops beating so I knew I was not dead yet. When I opened my eyes, I look up and saw her long black hair and her pretty black eyes covered in tears as they dropped in my face. Laying my head on her lap covered on her long white dress I tried to move my hand and stroke her hair but it seems my weakened state makes my character hard to control. She then immediately grabbed my hand and feel it on her face. ¡°You know I am truly grateful to all of you.¡± ¡°mmm,¡± she said as she remained looking at me. ¡°Our times together even if it was in the game, it was fun.¡± ¡°mmm.¡± ¡°I still want to be more with you guys, dammit!!¡±, with my emotions poured out I yelled as tears escaped within my eyes. She listened and cried with me until the end. ¡°Nil,¡± she said in a sweet voice. ¡°What is it?¡± ¡°Uncle said your body can¡¯t hold much longer.¡± She continued. ¡°I know.¡±


    ¡°You know, I was afraid to tell you this but... since I am going to die soon. I want you to know how much I loved you.¡± I said it my true feelings I finally said it. ¡°Dummy, I already know that but how dense can you be not knowing how much I love you more than you know.¡± Ah, I am an idiot. Why didn¡¯t I realized it after all this time? ¡°I guess the fear of my sickness kept me from noticing it ha ha ha- uhmp?!¡±, I was stunned as she immediately kissed me. It was at that moment that I remember all the times that we have been together and all the moments that I have been wasted. It was regretful but right now this moment is all I have. Her lips taste so sweet and soft yet, I can taste the sourness of her cries. I closed my eyes feeling that moment until


    ¡°Wooohooo¡± ¡°Yeah, that¡¯s our founder¡± ¡°Go brother Nil¡± ¡°hey let me go! I¡¯m gonna kiss him too.¡± Cheers and loud noises were heard not far away from us. The jolly group that came destroying our moment were none other than my guildmates. ¡°Haah Geez you guy¡­ really. Way to ruin the moment hahaha.¡± I smiled back as I looked at them while being helped by Lyn to stand up. At that moment the sun began to set and we all stand looking at the nice view of the sunset. ¡°oh yeah. Since I still have time. [Inventory summon Black Obsidian Wedding ring.]¡±, as I shouted the command two black rings with purple diamond appears in front of my hand. ¡°thank you with this we are married hehe¡± Lyn finally smiled as she wears the ring and we continued looking at the beautiful sunset.If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen.     Dying inside the game my mind went blank afterward. I don¡¯t know how much time had passed by but it sure is cold and there is eternal darkness all around me. I can¡¯t seem to know what¡¯s going on but I¡¯m already tired and tried to rest in this eternal darkness. A moment later there¡¯s this heavy feeling that something is sucking me in like a vacuum. I didn¡¯t bother to do anything since I don¡¯t even know what¡¯s going on. I¡¯m already dead and whatever is going on I am powerless to do something about it. The vacuum stopped and it feels like I am floating again in this eternal darkness but after some tim,e there was a voice. ¡°Forgive us.¡± What was that? Is it just my imagination?


    ¡°Fate never left you and given you the weak body destined to you. Despite that, you¡¯ve never resented nor blamed God for your suffering. I¡¯m grateful that it was you.¡± A sweet yet sorrowful tone belongs to a woman came into my mind. I don¡¯t know half of what she said but I guess ignoring her won¡¯t get me anywhere. ¡°I do know there is God but I don¡¯t know whose God is real also if he is the cause of my disease then I¡¯m sure he has a reason. Also, I didn¡¯t suffer all my life. In fact, for me, I think the one who suffers the most are my parents.¡± I thought about complaining though but then I am already dead, also I live the most what they have given me when I was alive. As a matter of fact, I am truly blessed with people all around me. I stood proudly for everything till the end. ¡°Thank you¡± the voice became rather cheerful. ¡°Now to compensate of your inescapable fate you were given a choice. Would you like to continue living in another planet or would you like to come to heaven and rest? Ahh¡­ If it were my guildmates I¡¯m sure they would choose to live on another planet but for me without them¡­ without my family ¡­ also Lyn¡­. ¡°I would like to go to heaven please.¡± ¡°As you wish please prepare your mind as we erase your memories. Beginning in-¡°. ¡°WAIT!!!¡± I shouted in panic as I heard something bad. ¡°what is it?¡± ¡°Please don¡¯t erase my memories.¡± ¡°I¡¯m sorry but since you are special being played by fate without given the chance to escape or defying it we have no choice but to erase it.¡± ¡°T-then what if I continued to live in another world and die there, would my memories remain when I go to heaven?¡± there is no way I¡¯m letting my precious memories go. This is the only treasure that I have. To simply throw it away is something I will never do especially the one and only memory that I made with Lyn. ¡°Yes¡­ As long as you die not by suicide or letting others kill you on purpose.¡± That¡¯s some specific way to die, seems like she knows what I was thinking. ¡°Then please oh mysterious voice let me continue to live in another world.¡± ¡°As you wish¡± After that light engulf my body as I fall down? Going into the planet?


    The group saw the sunset until the end knowing that one of them had finally disappeared. They stayed like that till night comes inside the game. There was still silence as the silver moon shines until one of them finally began to cry and then the rest follows. They continued until they silently log out one by one without saying a word.


    That Time a special announcement was heard. A horn sounded followed by the slow ringing of a bell. All of the players knew that sound. Another player died in real life. That¡¯s how the [Second Life] values its players, however, many were shocked as they heard the player¡¯s name.

    Shortly after the announcement. Another one came.

 First Tale: Chapter 1 - Once upon a time...

    Light surrounds me as I accepted the invitation to continue living on another planet. After that, a big planet appears in front of me. It was so big I think it was three times as big as Earth well I may be exaggerating on that part since I haven¡¯t seen earth this close. The planet keeps bigger and bigger I wonder why? Eh? I think it¡¯s not getting bigger. It¡¯s going closer to ...me? No. I am falling from outer space. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiitttt!!!!!


    I closed my eyes the entire time until I reached the ground. I¡¯m confident I won¡¯t die since I just made a deal to continue living in another world. As I reached the ground I didn¡¯t feel a thing. I opened my eyes and the ground didn¡¯t make any crater. In fact, the ground is filled with green grass and flower. I¡¯m in a glade. Surrounded by very huge trees that stood 90-170 meters. Hmm.. Some of the trees are very similar inside the second world but in here they are much taller. The biggest and tallest tree that I know from the game is the world trees that reached at least 2133 meters (7000 feet). They are very rare now inside the game since players are so greedy they almost cut every single one of those trees. *kzzt* *tss* hm? What¡¯s that noise? I can hear a sound like static but there is nothing here but then as I look at my body. ¡°Gaaahhh!!¡± My body is making static noises and fading like a signal getting weakened.


    I was confused and don¡¯t know what to do but then, a beam of light from above came down in front of me and behold a four-winged angel appeared. Its beauty is something I¡¯ve never seen but its radiance seems to keep makes eyes hard to stare at her. The angel opened its eyes and stared towards me. She then holds her clasp her hands and closed her eyes as if she was praying. At that moment I was surrounded by light and my body felt heavy yet the fading and static noises are gone. ¡°I¡¯m sorry to make it really short but my name is Aurora and I¡¯m the angel tasked to guide your soul.¡± It was the same voice as when I was at the eternal darkness. ¡°This is the world called Gaia, after angel Gaia who made this world but sacrificed her entire being in order for this planet and inhabitants to exist. In this world performing miracles are easy or in your terms magic just like in your dream world where you play.¡± Dream world? ¡°I¡¯m sorry as I will not answer any of your questions and I¡¯m not allowed to stay here for too long. Your soul was mixed with all the data in your dream world when you died and in order to separate them, we need another individual. So right now I am exhausted to give you a blessing but considering your status right now I don¡¯t think it¡¯s going to be a problem since I have materialized all those data in this world.¡± As I looked on my body it does look like the same as my character. Does she mean my character is now in another game? ¡°There are few rules that you need to know. The inhabitants must not know the existence of god and other angels other than Gaia. So when you utter the words it will become different or muted maybe it will become a word of abuse. If you try to draw, write or illustrate our existence then you will be paralyzed for your entire life or in your case we will just erase your memory.¡± !!! The moment she said those words a sudden surge of anger came and I looked at her but then something inside me weakened as my entire body trembled. ¡°You don¡¯t have to threaten me like that!¡±, I yelled as I took a knee to the ground. ¡°Oh.. I¡¯m sorry but it was not a threat but a rule. So then the moment I am gone the language of all inhabitants will be forced on you so please endure the pain. Thank you and please forgive us.¡±


    She was not kidding. The moment she disappears ¡°GAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!¡± my mind went like a bomb. I fell holding my head with my two hands. Words that I¡¯ve never heard before were forced into my brain. I ¡­think.. I am going in-sane.


    ¡°I passed out¡± I open my eyes and saw the sun at its peak. I don¡¯t quite understand but I seemed to gained knowledge as if it was normal. I stand up and saw a letter in front of me. ¡°Right now your body is the same as the one in your dream world the only difference is that there is nothing to guide you like those things you called screens. The achievements you gathered in that world was so great and all the data you have are so big it took most of my energy to materialize so the only thing I can bless you is the language of all the beings in this planet. This is a reality so please take care and enjoy.¡± Haaah¡­. Enjoy? I am here all alone and trusting someone here blindly means letting myself get killed, how can I fucking enjoy!!!


    After I read the letter, I teared it up and started to climb up the tall tree to explore my surroundings. The first thing that I would do is check my surroundings. Checking my abilities and situation will be easier once I find a secured area. After climbing I jumped as high as I could and to my surprise, it feels the same when I was jumping inside the game. Collecting energy and focusing onto my feet I did it with reflex and jumped. I saw a road far south in my position I think it will take me a day or two from here and by the looks of it I¡¯m in a forest. The opposite is the mountain that stood so high and big surrounded by trees that stretched all the way back. Not far from here due west is a river and from the east were more trees and a misty part. ¡°Whoops¡± falling down I lost my balance and fell. It seems gravity is different from the looks of it my balance is way off and my body feels a little bit heavy. Some fruit trees are familiar and some are not. Along the way, I picked up those fruits that are familiar to me as I went to the river. I searched for a place where there are big rocks in order to secure my safety. ¡°Found it¡± I tried lifting those rocks and they are a little bit heavier than I thought but I collected energy to my shoulder and back then lifting those rocks are much easier. I lifted three big rocks and placed them together to create a small place to rest. Next, I collected some tree branches and leaves, as I avoid fighting an encounter with different monsters, for the campfire and to put as a door and bed. Food and place are now secures and with this I can now begin and analyze my situation.


    The sun is now starting to go down in about 2-3 hours. I planned to check my abilities first and when night comes I¡¯ll think about my next step. First, it¡¯s now obvious I can use my skills and abilities judging by the usage of my energy on the way here. In the game, Energy was divided into 4 basic category Mana, Psyche, Chi, and unique types. A player can have 3 energies but their level must be on a total of ten. By maximizing one energy a player can upgrade it to a higher rank or better version. As such I use two energy, Natural energy which is born from a Medium psyche and pure mana level 5. Another energy I used is dark spiritual energy a unique type. Natural energy lets me use mana that surrounds me but I need to store the energy first. In my energy bar, natural energy won¡¯t regenerate unless I collect it. While the dark spiritual energy is much the same. I need to collect energy to use it. Looking at the clear water of the river I saw my face, long black jagged hair, brown eyes naked body filled with tattoos of dark spirits. My basic gear was here as well a pair of black gloves, a brown leather pants paired with leather boots. I didn¡¯t have an armor because of my class as a cursed warrior prevents me so. I don¡¯t have any weapons with me since when I died I didn¡¯t carry any weapons but she said I have a lot of data with me when I died which mean it¡¯s possible that I have my items with me. Since she said there are no screens in real life the only possible thing to try is the command system Item summon. It¡¯s a voice command that summons items in your inventory without opening the screen. Well then [Inventory Summon: All Items] since I forgot the items I had this is the only thing I know. ¡®Huh?¡¯ What the? I forgot to put the items in my last exploration in the guild storage!!A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.


    ¡®No wonder she said I have a lot of data, the items that appeared were the items I gathered during my last exploration. During that time I know it is going to be my last so I decided to explore the ruins in solo. I prepared many items that cost me a lot and donated the remaining in the guild treasure room. Right now I am surrounded by many weapons and items but there are some items that bother me. I don¡¯t remember having 3 boxes in my inventory. Hmm? There is a note written.¡¯ [Congratulation on achieving ''solo exploration'' achievement you are rewarded with a [Legendary explorer¡¯s book of spells III]. ¡°Oh so this is an achievement price box well I was dying so I never paid attention to this things lately. Let¡¯s see there is a note written here.¡± [This book contains 100 mana spells to be used only once, they are rank with 50 basic spells, 30 advance spell, 10 expert spell, 6 master spell, 3 legendary spells and 1 unique spell]. ¡®Shit unique spells are mana spells that can only learn by a single player to think there is a onetime use unique spell. Next box is [congratulation on completing the Ruins of the Berserker King] Opening the box lies 3 items [weapon scroll (legendary grade)] [Blood of Dragon Fafnir] [4 Ancient Potion]. ''Weapon scroll'' lets me generate a random weapon also guaranteed legendary hmpf.. I already have a unique weapon so it is useless to me. ''Blood of dragon Fafnir'' lets the player became a half-ling since every player can only choose human as a race in the game. Last is the ancient potion that lets me boost my stats in random in a total of 10 points but since there is no screen in real life I wonder how strong those numbers are. Also, I wonder how will it affects me. What the heck let¡¯s try one already. And so after trying one, my body felt a sudden surge of energy. My muscles hardened and I can feel heat coming from my stomach that engulf my entire body. ¡®Gaaahhh this feeling differs from the game. Hah hah hah¡­ I felt exhausted after that. So this is the difference between reality and game huh¡­ After that I decided to keep the remaining since if I get stronger, it will be harder for anyone to kill me.


    The last box contains the berserker king treasure box that contains a 2 profession book [Path of a berserker book] [Path of Legendary Berserker]. [10 Berserker Pills] that lets you boost your stat 3x for five minutes afterward your stat will be down to 10% of its original for an hour. [Soul crystal (Berserker Champion)] soul crystals can be used to gain possession skill or incarnate skill. [2 scrolls of resurrection] ¡­.. Riiight.. better use it on someone else before I have the chance to use it on me. [10 scrolls of knowledge] scrolls that represent like hints during quests but since there is no quest screen or quest here I wonder how they are used. Lastly, a bag that contains [50 000 gold ores 300 000 silver ores 100 diamonds 20 golden necklaces 20 diamond rings 36 ruby gems and 14 sapphire gems.] Fuck!! Now I¡¯m rich which means if I can create my own kingdom if ever I planned to build one. But I¡¯m planning to die but not letting myself be killed so scratch that. The rest were just looted weapons and armors, my main items, my hunter tools and my exploration bag that contains a pickaxe, axe, shovel, hammer and chisel, 100m rope, 11 healing herb, 6 Yggdrasil leaves, 2 Yggdrasil fruit, 5 fire gems 1 torch 5 bottles of gas oil(at least 1 litter each) and 500g of black powder.


    ¡®Haah these were a lot for my first day and it¡¯s now sundown. I tried inventory restore all items and luckily it worked but one thing was left lying on the ground. ¡®Is this another letter?¡¯ what the? Tears fell in my eyes as I picked it up. It was not a letter but a picture. A picture of us looking at the sunset during that time. Haha¡­ *sniff* ha ha ha ha... UUhhhhuu¡­. *sniff* Uuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhh!!!! I thought I¡¯ve sent it onto uncle, looks like I never made it in time to send it over before i died.


    That time instead of observing more and trying to catch a fish I spent my time reminiscing until nightfall. I have only time to prepare a door inside and a bed made from the leaves and branches i collected. Using the spell fireball from the book of spells I ignited a fire. It seems wasted but I had to try to use it once before using it in combat. All I had to do is rip a page of the spell then a magic pattern will appear on my hand. I tried focusing my mind and aim at the campfire I made then the fireball shoot down. It seems after five to six seconds the spell will activate on its own since I didn¡¯t even imagine shooting it down or the image of a fireball. Well, I¡¯ll just eat this fruits for now and hunt tomorrow.


    That time after sleeping I¡¯ve been pondering what to do next. People from the game and Players all have the same dark sides. Innocent people were dragged by their wickedness as such it¡¯s hard to trust someone in the game. There are even quests wherein the end the one giving the quest will betray you and wherein you are doing the wrong thing because of the quest. The same as the Players. It was such an ugly world, however, there are people who are nice also not everything is dark in that game. Well with this I think I¡¯ll just stay here and live quietly since going to town meeting people means trouble and could mean letting myself be killed. I don¡¯t want my memories be erased so I guess that¡¯s that. For now Goodnight.


    Morning comes and I woke up hungry so hungry I might die of starvation meaning letting myself die meaning memory erase. So I summon my hunter gears which contain: 3 bottles of paralyzing potion, 2 bottles of poison, 3 smoke bomb, 1 dwarven crossbow, and 69 orichalcum bolts. I planned on fishing and laying some traps today afterward I¡¯ll continue exploring the extent of my abilities. Hopefully, I am done with that today. Fishing was rather troublesome. The gravity is different which means my aim is a mess. It took me 50 tries to catch 4 fish. Still, I was lucky not to encounter dangerous water monsters. I guess, the danger lies deeper in the forest. Afterwards ,I started cooking those damn fish and starts preparing some for later. On the river, I put rocks in a semi-circle to trap some of the fish in a certain area. This makes it easier for me to aim since the current slows down. On the ground, I prepared some pitfalls and paralyzing stakes.


    Along the way here yesterday I¡¯ve evaded many creatures like a small rabbit with a horn similar in the game except the rabbits here have a different color. In the game, it¡¯s only white. I also saw snakes at least 10 feet long swallowing a boar at least 4 feet tall and 7 feet long but man that boar was so fat. There is also a deer but I saw only a glance of it. It has 4 horns and scales like lizards. I¡¯m guessing it has a very high alertness since it ran away immediately. With my crossbow, I was on top of a tree looking for some beasts. The first thing I saw was a bird¡¯s nest. There is a big bird with 4 eyes that stands at least 5 feet. It has a mixed feather of black and white and has very long talons. I aimed my crossbow coated with a poison arrow. I didn¡¯t need to aim well since it¡¯s big so I released the bolt and *tsu* Hit its wings!!! The bird stared me with the intention to kill. I hid immediately behind the tree reloading my next shot but after I reloaded the bird was already in front of me. ¡®Fast!¡¯ Its wings shine and were aimed at me. My instinct tells me to dodge so I jumped down and I was surprised the wings cut the tree as it passed through. Thankfully I dodged so I released another bolt as I fall down. It was supposed to hit its wings but this time it was repelled. The bolt pierces through the first time but now it didn¡¯t? I guess it a hardening skill. Monster from the game can harden their fur to use as an armor or weapon. I never knew an avian type to have a hardening skill from the game. The bird stagger for a bit then flew down ready to pierce me with its beak. Thankfully we are in a forest so I fell down on one of its branches and dodge the incoming attack. The bird cannot stop its momentum as it continued falling down breaking the branches along the way with its hardening skills until it reaches the ground. Not missing this chance I summoned a sword and aimed down at the bird but this time [element enchant Fire] as I gather energy from my back I also activated skill element enchant to my weapon giving it fire element. The bird recovered but the poison starts kicking in giving it a weakened state not having the chance to dodge my incoming attack.*swish* With that, my meal for the day is secured. 1 bird and 4 eggs.

 First Tale: Chapter 2 - Deep in the Forest...

    Taking the bird and four eggs back at the camp and a brown horned rabbit poisoned by the poisoned stake I hid in the bushes, I prepared the Fire gems and a pot. Fire gems can generate heat on their own and if imbued into a weapon they can give it fire element.  I put the egg inside the pot to boil them, so while waiting it¡¯s now time to test the extent of my skills. Nature energy skills were always dependent on nature itself. The stronger the elements in my vicinity the stronger the skill. For example, I am standing on the ground and beside me is water. Meaning if I stored energy from the ground and used a ground skill will make it stronger. Nature energy can be upgraded depending on the elements you choose but I choose this because of my style so I am stuck mostly with 1 spells per elements. There are 4 basic elements Which Are Fire, Earth, Water, and Wind. There are also unique once that are considered like lightning, ice, metal, plants or poison. They also considered Light and Darkness. In my case, I have 7 elements. Fire elemental skill [Flame absorption] a simple skill to absorb fire and use it although I have a limit on how much fire I can absorb. Earth elemental skill [Earth wall] I can erect a wall from the ground that can last to 5 minutes afterward if it¡¯s not destroyed then it will return to the ground, also I need to be standing on the ground to activate. Water elemental skill [water slice] it¡¯s like a water blade. Wind elemental skill [wind cutter] the same as the water slice a blade made with air, however, I need a weapon to slice the air to activate. Ice elemental skill [freeze & Melt] freezes water or melts ice on a 5m radius around me. Lightning elemental skill [lightning boost] activates only when raining or an enemy has lightning skills. This skill is a passive one that gives me 50% resistance on lightning attacks but if it¡¯s raining I can call down 1 lightning to strike me. When struck my speed doubles and can stack up to 5 that last for 1 minute. Which means I can be 32 times faster than my speed and even my perception of time slows down. The last element is dark skill [Yin slash] I can activate it only at night or in dark places like caves. Well, It''s like a slash made by the dark energy around boosting its energy the denser the surrounding energy is.


    Time to test it since 3 elements are present I can only test 4 which includes the ice element. First is the [earth wall]. Activating was simple just like in the game. Focusing my mind and connecting energy I can feel the ground of my surrounding and its energy and how far I can erect a wall from me. This feeling is a first for me since all I do is imagine where I can erect a wall from the game.*Brrrr* a huge wall erected in front of me standing 8 feet tall. I tried doing it in consecutive but it seems the cooldown is in effect. It can be cast every 10 seconds with a maximum of 5 walls. I tried something by erecting 3 walls at the same time. This cannot be possible in the game but what if I¡¯m here? *Brrrrr* *Brrrr* *Brrr*  It was a success!! However, they only stood 5 feet high and can¡¯t get any taller but their durability stays the same. Next [wind cutter] summoning a sword I aimed at the fish on the river and cut through. ¡®Take that you fish¡¯ I activated the skill consecutively since it doesn¡¯t have any cooldown but if used it without waiting for 5 seconds the power becomes weaker. During this time I almost cut all the fish on this part of the river. Better control myself or it will be harder to see fish in the future. Next is [water slice] since I don¡¯t want to kill any more fish I targeted a big rock near me. I was planning to put it on top of the rocks in case it will rain so perfect opportunity. The water cut the rock but it took me 2 slices to cut it in half. It seems to be weaker but the plus side is as long as I have water, I can activate the skill as much as I want. Lastly ice elemental skill [freeze&melt] it was simple as it froze part of the river as I activated. The ice will be permanent since it will melt on its own or I can just cast melt. Now I can put store those fishes like a refrigerator meaning I can live here without worry for a while. Afterward ,I experimented on it until the eggs were boiled and ready to eat.


    ¡°Uwahh.. Tasty much tastier than in the game or in the hospital.¡± Food has taste in the game but it is somewhat lacking compared to the real world. Aahhh¡­ my first camping all alone. I am feeling lonely but I won¡¯t let my guard down since letting my guard down means letting my self-be killed right? So it¡¯s only natural to avoid people especially when I¡¯m an alien to this planet. Now that my belly is full and my food is secured thanks to my improvised refrigerator. Such a shame I can¡¯t store any other materials from my inventory which means I needed bags to carry some stuff. Thankfully I have my explorers bag although it¡¯s just an ordinary bag it will do.  Well time to test my techniques. Techniques are different from skills. They have no icons to activate in the game. Moves such as slash are just a slash in the game, however, there are ways to make a ¡®slash¡¯ stronger and we called them techniques. In short, it¡¯s all about execution of movements and energy. Some Techniques can be mixed up with skill creating unique skills. Unique skills will then be registered in the game and the one who discovered it can make a skill scroll and sell it to others. Other players can also copy unique skills as long as they know how to execute them that¡¯s why unique skills are mostly kept by players instead of being spread out. I have a few unique skills on my own such as [Earth smash], [Double Cut] and [Flame Burst]. These are few compared to Chi Players which has a minimum of ten unique skills. I usually rely on techniques since they are all about timing and execution. Some of the techniques I performed is strengthening some of my muscles using energy to improve my strength or speed. Now for my battle techniques is all about some sword techniques and martial arts combined with the strengthening of my muscles. In short, I need to focus on swinging my sword and finding the right timing to burst my energy since the gravity here is greater and because of that my sense of combat is a little bit off.


    There is no clock in this world so I don¡¯t know how much time I spent. One thing I know for sure, it¡¯s almost lunchtime judging by the angle and heat of the sun. One thing I felt as I swung my sword is that my hand gets a little bit numb and I can feel some strain. I never felt this back in the game although you can feel exhausted there. I think my muscles sore from all that swinging. Thankfully I have some ice and cold water to drink. Just by getting some food on the ice part of the river I made for storing my food I tried and grilled some fish. I don¡¯t know what vegetables are good here since I haven¡¯t seen anything familiar that can be used for seasoning. I would like to eat some tastier food.


    Now it is time to do a little bit of scouting. I decided to secure my vicinity first at least a radius of 328 feet. I haven¡¯t seen any predators like wolf type or some lion type yet so I need to do some scouting be prepared just in case. With the help of my technique by focusing energy on my legs I can jump and run a little faster. After an hour or 2, I finished scouting the remaining area. Just as I expected there are only a few predators living in this area. The only noted ones are those snakes and a big black sabretooth. After that, I planned an escape route just in case and placed some traps along the way. Now the only thing I need to do is get used to this body. For one week I need to focus more on training before going exploring deeper into the woods.


    Three days have passed since then. It¡¯s now my 6<sup>th</sup> day here on this planet. Yesterday it rained heavily so I hurried and took all the meats I stored before they washed away by the current. Thankfully I came prepared and made sure the water won¡¯t reached my primitive home just in case the water rises. Water also leaked on some part since it''s just improvised home that is made with 3 large rocks as a wall and a flat sock sliced by my skill so I used those wooden shields to somewhat fill the gap. Once I secured a much better place I think I¡¯m going to build a tree house. Now I went to gather some woods and check my traps. I¡¯m living quite peaceful right now, although I¡¯m feeling a bit lonely, I¡¯ve continued doing some training and checking traps. Since I have plenty of stock foods I gave up on hunting and focused on my body. However, as soon as I get back to my camp a troublesome event came. Right now!! A golden gorilla is eating all my stored meat!! Fuck no time monologing.. You bastard I¡¯m gonna eat you for eating my food!!!!!Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval.     The monster is somewhat familiar although I forgot its name and characteristics. A muscled golden gorilla standing 8-9 feet high is now munching all of my food. ¡°Aaaaaaahhhh!¡± I rushed in due to my anger and fired my crossbow. Because of my yelling, the gorilla turns around but too late to dodge my bolt. The bolt pierce through its left arm ¡°Grooaaa!!¡± making the gorilla roared in pain. ¡°Ha! Now you feel my pain!¡± I stored my crossbow back to my inventory and draw the sword I have on my waist as I ran towards it. The gorilla also began its move however it was stronger than I expected. As I ran the gorilla moved in front of me with an extreme speed it and caught me off guard. The gorilla swung its arm throwing a punch to my stomach. ¡°Son of a-Gwaaa!!!¡± I felt an intense pain as I was sent flying breaking a tree before I was stopped by another one. It was much more painful. I never felt this much pain I thought I might die. I also felt a little bit happy by that thought but the pain puts me groaning for a while. The ape then escaped after throwing a punch on me deep in the woods.


    After vomiting some blood I took out a healing herb and began chewing on it. In the game, there are 2 ways to use healing herbs one is by applying it directly and the other is by chewing it. Chewing has some bitter taste that novice players never do but by chewing the herbs you can have an extra regeneration while both hands are free fighting. I suffered some scratches but mostly internal bleeding and broken ribs. So this is real pain that I never experienced before but as I chew the herbs I felt a little bit numbed and itchy like some ants biting all over your skin. I looked at my wounds and they are closing slowly until they are fully healed. Well, even this is a first. I wonder what else will I experience, still I wonder when will I be able to rest eternally.


    After a while, I checked the food and thankfully I have enough for 3 days plus the monster I hunt today makes it 5. I seem to be eating a lot these days. After that, I run another check on my body and it was good as new so I resumed my training and prepare a trap just in case that gorilla comes back. The next day, as expected it came back. *Grooaaa* The gorilla made a loud roar from afar as I was out checking some area. The trap that I made was a pitfall filled with spears coated with poisons under the place where I put my food. I don¡¯t care if I waste some food since catching that gorilla will give me some food and getting rid of a trouble. I rushed back to see how it go and saw the gorilla with few scratches just came up from the pit. ¡°Seriously! hardening skill?¡± Even though the trap only made some scratch, the fact that it took a serious amount of poison means it¡¯s only a matter of time.


    *Groaa* The gorilla looked at me filled with bloodlust as it charged. ¡°This time I won¡¯t be underestimating you. [Battle mode]¡±. This mode is a command system where it automatically equips weapons and armors registered as primary equipment. Light engulf my body as they change shape until my armors and weapons change in a second. The gorilla was fast enough to move in front of me while going into battle mode and throw a punch. This time I blocked the punch by crossing my arm and activated [elemental enchant: Earth] on my gloves. I was push back 4 feet by that punch as well as the gorilla taking a return damage made by the roughness of earth enchantment. Wearing black leather pants paired with black boots and a pair of black gauntlet that stretched until my elbow this is my cursed Bahamut set. Made from the materials gathered from a dragon Bahamut after hunting that dragon a hundred times we finally defeated it. Bahamut was an event monster that was released after discovering a ruin. The difficulty in killing down dragons is when they go aerial. This dragon doesn¡¯t fight but escapes when losing 50% of its health. With its superior combat in the air only to use in escaping.


    While my armors are cursed it was my class cursed warrior that made it an advantage. Any negative effect or buffs were nulled and changed to stat increase and decrease my HP by 10%. The only thing that bugs me right now is that since there is no HP bar in this world, what happens to that 10% HP decrease? After taking that punch it doesn¡¯t seem that my body becomes fragile but man that punch is something. On my waist are two Mythril scimitars as my weapon. The gorilla seems to be expecting me to send flying like last time so it was left dazed for a moment after the attack. I draw one scimitar on my right and pointed at the gorilla. It seemed understood the situation and began to released stronger aura. ¡°Now I remember, your species were called Fused Kongs. Called to be the strongest monster but useless. What core did you eat to have that strength? Intriguing.¡± ¡°Grooooaaa!!!!¡±. After powering up, the gorilla¡¯s entire body seems to be strengthened and its fur hardened. ¡°Come!¡±


    The gorilla began its attack. Fast! He moves twice as fast and launched a punch. [Earthwall]. A wall erected before his arm reached mine. The force of the wall coming up hit its lower arm interrupting its attack and losing its balance. The gorilla took a step back but comes back after with a destructive punch destroying the wall. It noticed that I wasn¡¯t behind the wall as it breaks and therefore lowering its guard. At that time I was hiding from the upper part and by the time the wall break I jump and therefore lunch an attack up above swinging my scimitar down attacking its left side. *Clang* I stored energy from my back as I hit the gorilla but his defense is tough and only send him a few feet to the right. The gorilla staggered a bit due to the effect of the poison but is still strong. *Groooaar* It made a louder noise enough to push some air towards me. The gorilla moves much faster than before and began its offense. It took me a surprise since I can¡¯t match its speed to provide a counter. [Element enchant: Earth] Defense is the only thing I can do now but it seems its punch is getting faster and stronger. At first, I was blocking its punches but as I was getting pushed back until finally I can¡¯t keep up and took a blow from my right side. *crack* ¡®My bones!¡¯ I was knocked to the ground but that didn¡¯t stop the gorilla to launch another attack. It jumps delivering another savage blow but [Earthwall]. Another wall erected from the ground hitting its stomach. The wall shattered but the force made by the wall interrupted its attack. [Wind blade] I gained a bit of distance at the time and launched my attack. The wind blade hit but it didn¡¯t cut through. The gorilla seems to be panting very hard right now. It is now feeling exhausted plus the effect of my poison.


    My poison cannot kill a strong monster like this one but it sure can leave it cripple or weak for some days. [Element enchant: Fire] Drawing my other scimitar, I enchanted both of them with fire and began to move. I put energy from my feet and back as I launched myself towards it. It was exhausted but its defense is still hard. I swung my blade *clang* *clang* *clang* but it was deflected. *Pow* ¡°Urgh!!¡± ¡°You want some more??!!!¡± After attacking continuously a weaker punch hit my left side. It was weaker but still stronger like the one it used to send me flying. Again! After I attacked I was punched back. Again and again. We keep exchanging blows but signs of burns are appearing from the gorilla¡¯s body until I finally inflicted some wounds. The exchange of blows lasts for another 5 minutes. Its durability is tougher than mine but I was chewing a Yggdrasil leaves that¡¯s why I was able to keep up. ¡°Hah hah hah¡­ shit, I lost my cool back there and forgot to preserve my energy.¡± I¡¯m a little bit exhausted and full of bruises and wounds but so is that fucking gorilla. Its fur was filled with burns and some minor cuts but it is now weakened. ¡°I guess it¡¯s time to finish it.¡±

 Frist Tale: Chapter 3 - Fighting Monsters...

    ¡°Grrr..¡± the golden gorilla looked at me with so much anger. It was a tough monster since it was called Fuse Kong. Fuse Kong is said to be the most powerful monster if it was a little bit more intellectual. The ability of this monster is that the first core that they eat from a monster will give them the monster''s strength and abilities. Most of these monsters from the early stage already ate some weak monster¡¯s cores, therefore, fusing them with weak abilities but this one is different. It doesn¡¯t yet show any unusual skills but its toughness is already incredible even its speed and power.


    The gorilla just stands there waiting for me to move. I¡¯m guessing it doesn¡¯t have any energy to spare some wasteful moves, in fact, this one is much intelligent than I thought. Are all fused kong here like this? It would be troublesome if I met more of them in the future. Even so, I am going to end it now. ¡°Ha!¡± I launched myself directly to the golden gorilla. Going on its range it began to throw a punch but [water slice] blades of water attack the gorilla from behind. The gorilla felt the attack and groans as it finally has some effects. At the same time, I swung my blade enchanted with fire. The gorilla tried to block it with one of its arm but [wind blade] before my sword reached millimeters before his arm I released two wind blades cutting it more effectively. It was also a unique skill called [double cut] but activating it this way is much easier. *Groooaa!!!* Finally some deep wound on his arm! Not wasting any more time as the gorilla roared in pain [earthwall] two walls erected in a slanting line pushing the gorilla back into the river. Going into the river I jump behind it and delivered another slice from its back. *clang* I didn¡¯t use any enchantment and meant to knock his body down to the water. As fast as the body enters the water [Freeze]. The gorilla is now frozen! ¡°Wooh¡± finally it''s done.


    It was a tough battle but I managed to survive. Perhaps if it was a little bit stronger it might be able to kill me but if I let myself killed by this monster knowing I can beat it means memory erase. ¡°Oh well, I guess I¡¯ll prepare some fire for some barbeque he.. he..¡± But at that moment *crack* ¡°Your kidding!!¡± *boom* An explosion of energy burst from the gorilla breaking through the ice. Its power has risen more!!! Taken surprise by the situation I haven¡¯t got the time to defend myself. The gorilla jumped and got behind me in just a second. *boom* What hit me next was something different, a skill! The gorilla punched my back but at the same time a powerful mana blast hit me and sent me flying from the other side of the river. Blood came out my mouth and even the Yggdrasil leaf was spat out. Breaking my bones as I rolled roughly in the ground until I reached a tree. By the strength of the impact that big tree fell as it stopped my body. Not wasting any effort the gorilla jumped and from up high it punched the air with its palm and a blue energy escaped. *boom* *boom* *boom* as that energy palm-shaped hit me a destructive force pushed me down as it explodes. ¡°Guaha!¡± The gorilla released much palm-shaped energy before dealing a blow with both of its arms to my body. ¡°Gaahaa!¡±


    It was an intense pain. Blood flowed all over me and it feels like my mind is reaching its limit. My stomach hurts and I feel like vomiting another batch of blood from my mouth. Bones have been broke all over my body and moving makes it more painful. I don¡¯t know how my body looks right now but judging from the wet feelings all over I¡¯m guessing it is full of blood and in bad shape. The gorilla finally looked at me and finally about to deliver the final blow. ¡°aahh¡­ Is it okay for me to die now? My memories won¡¯t be erased right?¡± But another unexpected happens. *RROOOAAARRR* A much sinister roar came from the mountains. It made me shivers more even the birds can be seen escaping filling the sky above us for a while. The gorilla stopped at that moment and went quickly to where the sound is leaving me half-dead on the ground.


    ¡°ugh.. *cough* *cough* S-shit!!¡± coughing some blood I moved my body even though it hurts. Opening the palm of my hands while still lying on the ground [I-inventory S-summ-on: Healing herbs] all remaining healing herbs materialize in my hand and took the pain to put all of it in my mouth. ¡°uweehh uhrmp¡± it¡¯s hard to swallow when in this state but I need to force it. Slowly chewing as I extract its juice while swallowing it forcefully. Slowly my body began to heal but as I was healing *boom* *boom* sounds of fighting came from that place where the gorilla went. I don¡¯t know what is happening but I need to pay you back for this. Wounds began to heal slowly and a minute later I am able to stand. ¡°Huuh, they sure are noisy.¡± All this time while I¡¯m healing the area is filled with noise and tremors. I guess it¡¯s time to go deeper.¡± It has been 30 minutes or so since that gorilla leaves this place, to think it can still fight with the poison effect means it¡¯s not an ordinary one. ¡°First [Inventory Summon Bahamut crown]¡± it is the last piece of my Bahamut set. I wasn¡¯t sure if I need to wear it since having the complete Bahamut set decreases my HP more but looking at the previous fight seems like it doesn¡¯t have an effect. The Bahamut crown was a black crown with 6 points like horn made from the Bahamut''s claw. At the center was a Bahamut''s eye. When all four is equipped the gear set is activated. 2 skills became available and to activate the skill I needed to use HP. ¡°With this my health decreased 40% still I don¡¯t feel anything strange.¡± For now, I¡¯ll go check things up.


    The noise has gone down a bit. It seems like it will be over soon. Following where the gorilla went is rather easy. I found traces of blood and broken trees along the way. The place it went is in the middle part of the mountain. While climbing up I saw many monsters along the way but they are all in hurry fleeing down. I guess whatever it is sure is scary. Soon as I went deeper there is a mist that keeps thicker and thicker. There are no more monsters here and the place was silent and the tracks stop here. I needed a fire. [Inventory summon torch][1 bottle gas oil]. A bottle of gas oil and a torch appeared. [book of spell III] I summoned the book of spell and look for a basic fire spell. There were still 4 fireball spells remaining so I took another one and cast it on the ground. I lit up the torch proceed. *bang* A huge sound came from my left side so I ran to check things out. The mist became thinner along the way what is weird is that it seems the mist is being sucked. *ROOOAAAR* The mist cleared up in an instant but a gruesome scene welcomed me along the way. I saw the golden gorilla standing with deep wounds and at its back, I saw a smaller version of it, a younger one. What surprises me is that on the ground lies the fuse kong monster that I knew. Black colored kong and white colored kong. They are all dead some are still in one piece but some have all there body part lying on the ground. The field is full of blood and guts but as I look at the other monster makes me break a lot of sweat. A white snake-like monster. No, I think it¡¯s a dragon-like in those Chinese stories. There is no monster like this in the game. The long dragon-like monster doesn¡¯t have a scale but skin with no fur. Its head is bald but its mouth is made of teeth appearing on the outside. On its lower part appeared to be a beard but if you look closely it was tentacles. The monster is at least 1300 feet or more with six feet. What¡¯s more, its body is surrounded or producing mist all over it. The monster seems to have some wounds on its body, No, it looks more like a scratch.


    I jumped up on top of the tree as soon as I saw the scene and analyze the situation. The golden gorilla seems to be protecting the younger version of it. ¡°It might be its child.¡± It was filled with deep wounds and seems to can¡¯t move on the other hand a monster that has barely scratches on its body massacred this many fuse kongs. *Roooaar* The monster began its move. The mist came out of its body and if you look closely its body opened like a small hole as it produced mist. The battlefield became harder and harder to see just like the time I went here. The Gorilla just stood there but then the shadow of the monster vanished as it was covered by mist. *Bang* *bang* bang* *slash* the gorilla is just standing there while the shadow of the monster attacks all over. It is being wounded by every attack but all it does is protect its child. *Gaah* *Gaah* The young one cried as it held to its mother. ¡°Shit!! What am I supposed to do!!?¡±If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.


    The gorilla is my enemy so is that big monster. If I ran away then my problems will be solve and all I have to do is avoid this bastard. ¡°Urghh¡­ if I die knowing that this monster is stronger will my memories will be erased?¡± *Boom* The gorilla just then was smashed and sent flying a 100 feet or more away. Before it hit the mountain it shielded its child and suffered from the impact filled with blood. ¡°Tsk¡­ I should be happy yet this is not ¡­ urgh.. its giving me a bad taste just by watching.¡± What will my friends do? Lyn¡­ what will most of you guys do? *Gaaaaahhh* The gorilla can barely stand and yet it was still protecting its child. The monster¡¯s shadow appeared and seems like to deliver its final blow. *Gaaah* The gorilla the embraced its child more tightly and closed its eyes. ¡°What do you mean founder? Aren¡¯t we the Group of Legendary Fools? This game is filled with dark theme no one is having fun anymore.¡± ¡°Look even the NPC¡¯s are able to laugh¡± - Bitch_Please. Heh, your Game name makes me laugh just by remembering it Diarmid.


    The monster was about to deliver the final blow when suddenly a tornado hit it and was blown up to the air. The gorilla was stunned by the sudden event. It looked up in the sky and was pierced by a large spear of ice. *Kraaagghh* The monster made a loud noise and mist surround the air. The mist was attacked by 2 fireballs where the giant spear hit but the attack missed. ¡°What?!? how the heck did that monster moved mid-air!??¡± The gorilla heard a familiar voice and looked from the top of a tree. It was surprised as it looked at the man that he fought to the death. The man smiled as it hurried to its side. It was still confused and still held hostility even though it was just got his helped. ¡°This spell should work¡± The man was holding a book and ripped a page. Soon afterward the gorilla was engulfed in green light for a second. The gorilla doesn¡¯t understand what is going on but after a few seconds, it felt that it¡¯s wound and strength are recovering. ¡°Hurry and escape. You understand me? Go Shoo shoo¡­. Go take your child and Hide.¡± *Gaah* As it heard its child the gorilla snap back and understand what the man is trying to do. It then moves out as fast as it can away from the field where the man stood alone with the monster. The gorilla moved far away until it found an abandoned cave. The cave is a little bit farther than the place, it then placed its child down and caress it. *Gaaah* the child made a low sound. *Graah* *Graaah* The golden gorilla made a weird sound and soon went out of the cave. *Gaaaaahhhh* The child was left alone in the cave waiting for its mother to come back.


    ¡°Damn!¡± I just used a master spell tornado blade and Icicle Spear. What¡¯s more soon as the mist covers its entire body it was able to move even when it¡¯s up in the air. Soon the mist slowly covers the ground until it became thicker and thicker. Shadow of the monster crept around the mist. Now I know why. The monsters shadow move like it was swimming in the mist. Looking for another spell will take time and provide an opening so for now¡­ Before putting the book of spells in my inventory I ripped a random page while keeping an eye to the monster. I glanced at the spell and it was an advance spell called [Mist field] ¡°Shit!! Of all the spells!!¡± The mist became thicker and thicker and the monster just became more excited as its shadows move more quickly. Fast the shadow disappeared from my sight but my instinct told me to duck right now so I did it in a panic. *Fwooosh* *bang* The ground was hit by a sharp object in front of me creating a deep line. ¡®Fuck was that the tail or the tentacles?¡¯ *Bang* Soon as I evaded the attack from behind I was rammed by its head in an instant and gave me a ride to the woods. As I was being rammed through the trees the mist became thinner and thinner and the monster begins to slow down until I hit the final tree. The mist was gone and the monster became visible again. As I looked up I saw the monster¡¯s body oozing with blue blood from where I hit it with my spell. *Kraaaghh* It raises its claws and aimed it down to me. [Element enchant: Fire] I swung my scimitar planning to cross my weapon to its claws redirecting its attack. The *clang* *shiing* Its claw slide through the ground and soon after *slash* I swung my blade and to my surprise, I cut it pretty easy. *Kraagh* the monster cried as the sword burn down to its skin. The mist produced became purple and as I looked around me some birds began to fell. Poison huh? I have immunity against this poison so it¡¯s no trouble for me. [wind blade] *Kraaghh* the monster cried as I fired a wind blade towards it. The monster was confused but it didn¡¯t stop it from attacking me. Its figure once again disappears. ¡°oh no you don¡¯t¡± *swoosh* I fired another wind blade before it disappears but it went passed through its shadow. ¡°fuck it was a sure hit but nothing happens? ARGH!¡± it was much faster than before. I was attacked again from behind as I felt three blades went into my back. *Bam* soon after I felt like a big baseball bat hit me and sent flying but soon before I get further away *Bam* another one hit me. *bam* *bam* bam* I was like a badminton ball being tossed around all over the place. ¡°Urgh!! [skill Bahamut¡¯s roar] *Groaaaahhhhh*¡± The entire field became silent as I flew over the tree. ¡°Gwaaahh¡± blood came out of my mouth soon as I activated the skill. The hell? It was right in front of me but it just went through? The monster began shaking its head. It has recovered. I took a step back and began moving away for now but the shadow disappears again. *Bam* this time the monster appeared above me and slammed me downwards with its tail. ¡°Shit, what should I do?¡±


    Soon as I reached the ground the shadow of the monster began to ram its head towards me. *Rooaaaar* Before the monster reached me a familiar roar came out of nowhere. A gust of wind blew the mist away and the monster began to materialize in front of me. Soon as the mist cleared up the monster lost its balance like a bird suddenly unable to fly. It fell on the ground and not a second after the golden gorilla came up above stomping its head. *Kaaghh* The monster cried but the gorilla never stopped attacking. Just like before Blue energy escaped from its hand and explodes as it hit the monster. The gorilla never stopped its assault but the monster''s tentacle began wrapping the gorilla stopping its attack. ¡°Oh no, you don¡¯t¡± I moved as fast as I can slashing the tentacle with my sword enchanted with fire. Cutting the tentacle away the monster let another cry. *Kraagghh* ¡°attack while it¡¯s down!!¡± We then continued our assault. The monster was unable to fight back and it was clearly a sure victory or so I thought.

 First Tale: Chapter 4 - Conclusion ...

    The monster should be dead soon. The golden gorilla punched, stomped and even released skills that explodes. I for one continued swinging my blades cutting all of its tentacles. The monster was being beaten to the ground non-stop. *Kraaghh* *Kraaaghh* It cried but we never stop. The monster is trapped waiting for its death. Or is it? The monster that was supposed to die made a desperate move.


    The monster''s body began to act differently as we beat it down. Its color began to change red. I thought at first it was its blood then I remembered it was blue meaning something is up. ¡°Hey! Stop! Move!¡± I shouted to the gorilla as I noticed it but we reacted too late. *BOOM* the monster''s body released and explosive force invisible to the naked eye. It was strong enough to push us away from it. It was at this moment that I got back on my feet I saw the gorilla struggling as it held the monster''s mouth that has dug through its body. The gorilla was keeping the monster''s mouth from chopping it in half. At this moment [earthwall] the erected and hit the lower part of the monsters head but it still held on. Looking at the monster''s body the skin became more wrinkled all over. ¡°tsk [element enchant fire]¡± Swinging my sword the monster held on until the worse came.


    A mist began to come out its body. ¡°shit!¡± If another mist came I doubt we will have another chance like this again. I swung my sword like crazy but the purple mist came and the monster disappeared just like that. Now it began to counter. ¡°Hey, gorilla! Do you have some sure hit killing move left?¡± *bam* *bam* The gorilla began to weaken as it barely able to stand while the monster keeps attacking us. *Groaaahh* the gorilla roared as to respond to my question. ¡°I don¡¯t know if you understand it or not but here goes nothing!!! ¡± [Skill Bahamut''s wrath] My sword began to lit black flames. I began to have the urge of vomiting as the flames began to grow stronger and stronger. I held my mouth shut as some of the blood escape from my mouth meanwhile the mist became thinner. Just as I thought, I swung my blade aiming at the monster¡¯s shadow. The flame passes through but the area was a forest and fire began to emerge in the surroundings clearing away the mist.


    The monster began to slowly emerge and thanks to the fire it was weakened. ¡°Save your strength for the last gorilla. When I say jump! You jump!¡± soon as I said it the monster began to produce a force made of mist from its mouth. It was aiming all over hoping to take out the fire. I am expecting you still have an ace on your sleeve that¡¯s why [Flame Absorption] I the activated my skill and began absorbing fire energies through my body. The monster notices something and began aiming at me but the gorilla came and made an uppercut on its mouth. ¡°Jump!!!!¡± soon as yelled the gorilla jumped at the same time [Flame burst]. The skill activated and my entire surroundings were engulfed by a wave of fire. The monster was hit and began wailing as the black flame continues to burn the area but it''s not enough to take it down. ¡°Hraagh¡± I throw my scimitar enchanted with fire as my last resort. The monster''s body began to glow like last time it was still alive. ¡°Go!! You Fucking Gorilla! Finish it!!¡± From up above the golden gorilla prepared its finishing move. One of its hand began to glow brighter than usual. Its golden fur became black until its right arm is the only one shining. That moment the monster was about to unleash something big but that fucking gorilla made it in time. The gorilla strikes down punching a hole inside its body. That moment the monster''s body began to glow gold and suddenly burst into pieces. Blue blood scattered around as well as some of the monsters remaining pieces. The gorilla¡¯s right hand turned to a charcoal and staggered from all the exhaustion and poison. ¡°Hey! Don¡¯t push yourself, wait there I¡¯m gonna heal you right now.¡± As I said that I summoned the book of spells to look for a healing spell. Rain followed afterward taking out the fire that remained on the battlefield.


    The gorilla began to move, ignoring what I just said. As I began to look for that spell the gorilla begins to look something on the ground. I was in the middle of scanning and ripped off the regenerating spell. Soon as I aimed my spell to the gorilla the spell stopped and the page returned to the book. ¡°What? what¡¯s going on?¡± The gorilla found something at that time. It was the heart of the monster. ¡°You still hungry?¡± The monster ignored me and began to move away. ¡°Hey, where are you going? You¡¯re still wounded.¡± The gorilla in bad shaped run as fast as it could running through trees and stumbling on the ground. I was following from behind casting the spells from the spell book but it always returns soon as it activated aiming at the gorilla. ¡°Is this thing broken? Hmm? This is the last fireball¡± *Fwoom* Fuck! The fireball blasted my face just as I tried to aimed it at me. Soon we reached a cave and The young golden gorilla appeared. *Gaah* *Gaah* The gorilla came and rushed to its mother. They seem to be talking in their language but it seems their language is not a language of this world? Soon afterward the young gorilla started crying and the mother collapsed on the floor. ¡°Hey!! Damn!! Work you piece of shit!¡± I tried aiming the healing spell but it still won¡¯t work. *Gaaahh* *Gaaah* the Young one cried. The mother just caresses its child making some sound and then she looked at me. Seeing how hard I tried to cast a spell the gorilla made a faint smile then began to shock me. ¡°Yursless¡± she began to talk something similar to what I understand. ¡°What?¡± ¡°Yurlsless.to Kill.yus.layf.¡± ¡°W-what?¡± I didn¡¯t understand but it''s talking about killing that monster. Afterward the mother took the monster¡¯s heart and gave it to its son. He so somewhat understood what to do and the mother began to talk again. ¡°Thiz wan.belly.i.eat.hart.hayr.gold.dhink.difrent.¡± Somehow I understand what she was saying. ¡°Pliz.take.care.my child¡± The mother began to cry while talking to me. She was asking me to take care of her child. ¡°Pliz.take.care.mychild¡± She began repeating her words until its final breath. ¡°Damnit!!!¡±


    [Inventory summon: Scroll of resurrection] I aimed the spell towards the mother kong but soon as the spell began to activate it stopped halfway. ¡°fuck!!! What is wrong with this!! Why won¡¯t it work? I tried again a number of times but the resurrection won¡¯t activate. That time the first words she said hit me. ¡®to kill use life?¡¯ ¡°Soul Skill!!¡± it is a skill with destructive power or effect with a cost of soul. In the game when a player used it they must have full HP or else they die immediately after the use. Soul skills are the most unique skills in the game and acquiring one differs from each other. There are only 2 members in our guild with a soul skill and right now there were 20 players with that skill. When used full HP you will only have 1 HP point remaining afterward.     After the event, I stayed in the cave for a little longer. Inside there was some meat lying around. Well, so long. Soon as I stepped out of the cave bright light shines on my back. I was so curious I went back to see what happened. ¡°What??!!!¡± The young golden kong that has small built standing 4 feet suddenly became bigger. Standing 6 feet tall with a muscular body it became a lot stronger than before. There was also golden smoke forming around its body. ¡®Don¡¯t tell me the heart of that monster was a core?¡¯ I was shocked at that sudden development but at least I won¡¯t be worried on how this fella will survive from now.


    Yesterday was a tough fight, I walked out of the cave knowing that it¡¯s now in the middle of the day. Going back to the camp is easy. I just need to follow the river downwards. While traveling back the heat of the battle can still be felt as no monsters can be seen around. The fallen trees, the burnt areas, the fallen monsters caught in the battle was seen lying around as I went pass on it. As I move I notice that something was following me and as I looked back ¨C ¡°Fuck!! You kidding me? Why are you still following me?¡± That fucking gorilla follows me soon as I left the cave. *Graaaoo* He growls with a happy look on its face as he responded to me. Being able to keep up with my speed even with my feet strengthen with energy I can¡¯t seem to lose him up so I gave up half-way.This text was taken from Royal Road.     The forest was silent this time as I went back down. Upon arrival traces of monsters, fleeing can be seen on the ground. Even my primitive home was destroyed by the passing monsters. Kong was playing around soon as we arrive at the river trying to catch some fish. Judging by his appearance before his power up I¡¯m judging he had just reached the beginning of his maturity. Next, I went to check my pitfall traps to see if I caught anything. Lucky!! 3 boars and a Tiger type with horn and bat wings were killed by my traps. After tidying up the place I gather enough woods as I prepare my last night in this area.


    The night was calm as the fire heat up the coldness. I made a pretty big bonfire as I feast on the meat of the beasts I just caught. Taking their skin out I manage to gather a total of 6 pelts. Although they are in bad shape due to my inexperience they are enough for me as my blanket and beddings. Tomorrow I plan to go on the other side of the mountain. As I scouted yesterday I saw a lake and a waterfall on the other side of the mountain. I planned to stay in the middle of the waterfall and the lake beside the river that connects them.


    *munch* *munch* *munch* The two of us began eating as the night continues. ¡°Hey, you stupid kong that¡¯s mine!! *bam*¡± Punching the kong sending him a foot away as I grab my food. *bam* the kong gives me a dropkick as I dropped the food I was eating. Fuck what are you still doing here eating my food!!! You were just like your mother!!! *Groaa* *groaa* Kong just laughs as it began to eat. Hmpf well this is not bad for a company I guess. I decided to call the golden gorilla Kong. Different from his kind this Fused Kong is much more intelligent than the others. I wonder what kind of heart his mother ate to gain such power. Then I decided to test the ability of this stupid gorilla. ¡°Hey! Kong! Come here for a second.¡± I called out to him. As we travel along the way due to my continuous hitting and yelling whenever I¡¯m scouting and laying traps the stupid kong finally began to move quietly and hide its presence. So by the time he came to my side not sound was made. *Grao?* ¡°You see those wolves their?¡± *grao* ¡°How about you take them all out by yourself and by dinner time you can have their leader all by yourself?¡± *Graaooo* ¡°Okay it¡¯s a deal, remember to flee if you can¡¯t take them out and the leader¡¯s meat will be mine okay?¡± *Grru* did kong just snickered? Well if he can back up that confidence.


    The wolves were gathered as they feast on a big snake the just took down. This is the first time I will see kong fights except for those fights we have during we ate. When I hunt or fight some monster he just stands there watching me so it bothers me how strong he can be to kill other monsters. First Kong started with a sneak attack from above. *Stomp* *Bam* Tsk going straight to the leader sneaky bastard. Kong just stomped their leader¡¯s head. Seeing the head being squashed the wolves were stunned but behind the bushes. *Fwoom* Another wolf appeared and from its mouth breathed fire that Hit kong¡¯s back. Kong was already using hardening and strengthening So the fire did little damage. He then swings his arm aiming at the wolf just now but it was fast enough to dodge. The other wolves launched themselves in and one of them took a bite on his arm while the others on his feet. *Groooaa* *bam* *bam* Kong slammed the one hitting biting his arm to the ground while throwing and smashing the other two. There were 8 wolves in total and two just went down. From afar Lightning strike down Kong by one of the wolves. While the other just made a spear of ice. Judging by these wolves abilities they were elemental wolves. We have a similar one in the game but they are monkeys. The color of the rock in the middle of their forehead represent their element. Kong was continuously hit by range attacks. Kong was slower than its mother may be due to the fact that the mother ate a different heart. Kong became frustrated and the golden clouds or mist that surrounds him began to form under his feet. *Grao?* *Grao!* The golden mist covers his entire feet and then he launched himself to the wolves. The wolves move sideways evading the direct attack but the mist from hit feet just stretch far behind one of the wolf. As if sliding, Kong moved by using the clouds to get from behind the wolf and then delivered a strike by his two hands smashing it to the wolf downwards. The wolf groaned in pain until kong stomped his head. The wolves became weary but Kong just spread the mist all over the area. Another Mist form from one of Kong¡¯s hand. Soon as he aimed it at one of the wolves mist stretched and looked like a golden snake cloud. The cloud snake was fast and surrounds one of the wolves. Kong pulled his arm like pulling a rope and the wolf came along being pulled by the snake cloud. Being up in the air Kong opened its mouth and a blue energy similar to its mother formed like a ball. *Boom* The ball explodes as it hit the wolf. 4 wolves remain and it seems like they all want to escape however the area was filled with golden mist already. *Bam* *Splat* *BOOM* *clang* *Graaahh* The fight went on as Kong chased them till he holds the last one of them and now trying to rip it in half. *Awuuu* The wolf let out an agonizing cry until its finally dead.


    ¡°Well, you certainly finished them all so as agreed the leader is yours¡± *Grao* Night came and cooked the meats. Kong can eat the meat uncooked but he seems to like those meat being heated. ¡®Ah, I miss soups and seasoned foods.¡¯ Right now the idea of going to a town or continent crossed my mind but I lacked many things mostly intelligence about this world¡¯s customs. I hate those tricky people that find ways to manipulate you. They are always hard to deal with especially when you try it in a ¡°moral¡± way¡¯.


    The day passed by and we managed to arrive at our destination. I went and secure the area near the river and found a large tree suitable for my new home. I planned on making a tree house up on a tree and one cabin just in case the treehouse will be destroyed. The problem is I have no nails but luckily have some oricalchum bolts to use. I guess I¡¯ll just cut them up to pieces.


    Making a treehouse is harder than I thought so I just made them smaller enough for me to fit in and harder to spot just in case someone comes. The woods are not cut evenly but I¡¯ not picky. And so a week has gone by and I continued to live peacefully inside the forest. I managed to build a treehouse 300 feet away from the river and another one near the waterfalls. I managed to gather enough pelts so can get cozy in the night and even stored oil for cooking and fighting. I experimented on the spices along the way to find out how to make my food tastier and used some monsters as a Guinea pig for my cooking since I¡¯m immune to poisons and stuff. A month pass by and I¡¯m getting used to this peaceful life I had. Kong even began going out on its own for a long time but always comes back with some monster to cook. The day pass by until one day trouble came knocking on my door. *thud* ¡°Fuck! What do I do?¡±

    One day she when she was out picking some herbs, she didn¡¯t notice she wandered far away from the village and almost went to the Grand Forest Mythia. The forest was wide and full of strong monsters as you go deeper. At the center of the forest lies the Mystic Mountain that is said to be as tall as hundreds of dragons. The mountain¡¯s top cannot be seen as it stood high entering the clouds in heaven. ¡°Aleiah!!!¡± a young woman shouts at her as she almost enters the forest.


    ¡°Ah! Big sis Freja!!¡± the girl smiles as she saw a young woman with green long hair covered in white armor. ¡°What are you doing here sis? I missed you so much!¡± Aleiah ran onto her soon as she recognized Freja and hugged her hard legs covered with armor. ¡°I¡¯m here on a mission but you!! What are you doing here near the forest!! Do you know it¡¯s dangerous here!! Sonja and Grad were so worried¡±. *waaah* ¡°Big sis, I¡¯m sorry I didn¡¯t notice since I found many bloodflowers today.¡± Aleiah soon cried when she heard Freja getting mad. ¡°There, there, Just be careful okay? That day Freja stayed on Aleiah¡¯s home and spent the night.

The village was made up mostly by slaves from the Menje Kingdom, the only kingdom in huma continent to have allowed slavery and hates other races. The reason they are able to escape was due to the help of the revolutionary kingdom, formerly known as the Freed Empire. The empire collapse due to a certain coup and managed to overthrow the emperor but his son escaped and build the revolutionary Kingdom. Now his grandson Siege was the one continuing the lineage. Meanwhile, the Holy Kingdom declared its neutrality and hoped that they will live the holy lands untouched by their wars making the holy kingdom a safe haven to people especially slaves.

Freja went and checked out the situation. ¡°It seems we are under attack by wolf kind beasts. Stay here, I will help them out.¡± The family stayed inside As Sonja embraced her daughter while Grad took an old spear guarding the two. Outside was noisy, the sound of beasts and men cries can be heard as they battle. The fighting went long and the family was getting nervous but then a sudden knock came to the door. *knock* *knock* ¡°Who is it?¡± Grad shouted. ¡°O-Oh excuse me, I was afraid monsters gonna attack me so I wander around aimlessly knocking on houses but nobody opened their door. Could you please let me in?¡± a familiar Hoarse and grumpy voice sounded in Aleiah¡¯s ears and shouted ¡°Grandma? Is that you?¡± ¡°you know her dear?¡± Sonja asked her daughter. ¡°uhmu.. She was the one I helped as she rests on a tree stump a while ago.¡± ¡°Oh.. is that you child? Thank Gaia you''re alive.¡± Aleiah ran through the door and opened it but she was shocked when she saw the appearance of the old lady. ¡°Grandma? Do Elves have pointy nose and ears located in their upper head?¡± "Aleiah!! Get away from that monster!!!" Grad shouted.


    That time most of the wolves were defeated so Freja came to check on Aleiah but she was stunned at the scene she just witnessed. [Whirlwind trust] Grad used his skill against a tall suspicious individual covered in a cloak. The spear hit as the wind blew the individual. The cloak was shredded as the wind came from the skill blew and revealed the true form of the individual. ¡°Fenrir!!!¡± Freja shouted and rushed at the scene but was impeded by two more wolves. As she hurried and defeated them she saw it all happened. Grad¡¯s spear was stuck on Fenrir¡¯s breast but it didn¡¯t pierce through. He stood 3 wyvern tails with gray fur on his body. He has a face of a wolf but stands on two feet with a body suddenly growing big. ¡°I applaud your bravery human but it doesn¡¯t keep you from your upcoming death.¡± *RooAAoar* ¡°Papaaaa!!!¡± With the sharp claw of Fenrir he swiftly cut off Grad¡¯s arm. Aleiah shouted in fear as she saw her father teared up to pieces as Fenrir grabbed him and ripped him in half as he ate one of its parts. ¡°Aaahhh!!! I haven¡¯t eaten for days. Thanks for the meal little girl.¡± The blood of his father sprayed all over covering Aleiah in blood. Realizing the situation her mother grabbed Aleiah and cast a spell. ¡°oh light please shine radiant and give the world unending beauty. [Radiance]¡± Light came out of her body in a matter of seconds that blinded Fenrir meanwhile as Sonja closed her eyes and grabbed her daughter, she saw Freja not far from their location just finishing the monster she was fighting. ¡°Freja!! We will escape through the forest!!¡± The three ran into the forest of Mystia, meanwhile, *Graaaghhh* that blasted woman!! I¡¯m gonna eat her after letting her experience spawning my kindred!!!¡± Fenrir just recovered from his blindness and saw the three escaped. *Splash* *Raaghhh* ¡°My eyes not again!!!¡± Water mixed with hot spices was splashed in his eyes. He searched for the one responsible but swords and arrows meet his body however they didn¡¯t do any damage. ¡°Whoa, a tough customer, listen my fellow men!!! Today we die buying time for our children and for this village hope Aleiah so keep him here as long as possible!!¡± Villagers of men and old appeared one by one in front of Fenrir as they shouted in unison. ¡°Keep this mutt at bay!!¡± *Snap* ¡°You will all go into my belly!!!¡±

 Second Tale: Chapter 1 - The girl in a crimson hood

    *pant* *pant* *Pant* Heavy breathe came out from Freja as she ran through the Forest of Mystia. They were being pursued by 5 elemental wolves and an Orthros. The wolves were being led by Fenrir, a titan that tries to abduct Aleiah but being occupied currently by the villagers in the village. Knowing that they no longer have the chance to escape Sonja turned around and face the pursuers. ¡°Mama!!¡± Yelled Aleiah. ¡°Freja!! Take my daughter and go!! I will hold them here!!¡± ¡°Madam you mustn¡¯t, you are this child mother, let me handle them please!!.¡± Freja turns around and tried to stay behind but Sonja.. ¡°No!! Deeper in the woods there were more monsters and you are a better person capable of protecting my daughter!! Go!! I trust you with her!!¡± Having no time to argue Freja took Aleiah covered with blood all over away and went deeper into the forest. ¡°Mama!! Mama!! Mama!!¡± Aleiah shouted and cried as the figure of her mother fade away slowly into the darkness. ¡°Farewell my child.. I love you..¡± After giving her farewell to her daughter Sonja cast a spell that stuns the pursuer and blinds them for a few seconds.


    ¡°Mama!! Mama!! Ma-ma!!¡± Aleiah didn¡¯t stop shouting until she lost all her energy and stopped, however, Freja didn¡¯t stop running and went deeper into the woods hoping she would lose the pursuers. After running nonstop and her legs began to shake, she stopped by behind a tree and sat down. Observing the area, there were no pursuers approaching and give her a sigh of relief but the smell of blood on her and Aleiah¡¯s draw monsters near them and suddenly from the bushes, a snake came out trying to bite them. Thankfully for Freja¡¯s reflex, she managed to swing her sword at the snake¡¯s mouth and sliced into two. Other monsters were coming as the grass became noisy so Freja began to run towards a river to wash up but she didn¡¯t know which way so she just runs aimlessly deeper into the forest.


    That time the village where Fenrir was burned down in flames and filled with blood, flesh, and guts all over the place. They manage to hold Fenrir for a long time and paid off. Thanks to that Freja managed to escape together with Aleiah. Meanwhile, Sonja was badly wounded walking aimlessly deep in the forest. She has deep wounds all over her body and barely conscious. She hears the sound of the river as she wonder and all of the sudden falls down.


    Freja was now being chase down by hungry monsters in the forest. She was all wounded but carried on while carrying Aleiah who seems to be silent until now. She was in a daze until now and didn¡¯t even speak a single word. She wants to know how she is but the monsters keep chasing them until they suddenly stopped and ran away. ¡°What?¡± Freja was confused but she still went on and kept running until she realized the mist in the area gets thicker and thicker. The mist has a golden color and kept getting thicker and thicker. She was tired and stopped to rest but then she realized the Mist Terror. The king of the forest. She was now at her limit but they have to escape the mist in order to survive. It was almost sunrise and Freja kept on running all night. She took a deep breath and began running again until she finally stumbles down. Unable to keep her consciousness she only saw a shadow ¡®A huma!!¡¯ ¡°P-lease¡­H-help..¡± She saved her last strength and ask help for a stranger that comes.


    ¡°Unh¡­ W-what happened?¡± I woke up with my head feeling dizzy. I opened my eyes and saw a wooden ceiling and an open window where I can see branches and the sky. I remembered running deeper into the forest away from the monsters and then we ran into the most terror¡¯s territory and then¡­ ¡°Aleiah!!¡± I get up half of my body from the bed and looked around me searching for her. I see a somewhat kitchen with only a pot made of metal, a stone that is used as a pan, five red stones, and some flat wood seems to be used as plates? And a door where a big yellow monster is looking at me? ¡°Aaaaahhhh!!!!¡± ¡°Graaaaaahhhh!!!!¡± I screamed and searched for my sword and at the same time, the yellow monster also screamed for some reason. It called wonder kongs that stood with 2 feet and 2 big arms down to the ground. They have fur all over their body except for their front face their breast and stomach. Male and Female wonder kong are hard to differentiate since they have the same muscle breasts. This is a variant it seems since its fur is more like a gold. Wonder kongs are mysterious monsters that have different abilities that¡¯s why they are called a wonder. My sword is nowhere the house also Aleiah. ¡°I don¡¯t know what you did but I will kill-¡° ¡°SHUT UP!!!! STUPID APE COME DOWN HERE!!!!¡± a loud voice of a man came out of nowhere, the gorilla stopped shouting and suddenly jumped down? The house? I mean it ho high is this? I don¡¯t see any ladders. I was about to get up when I noticed my armor is gone and I only wearing a plain black shirt and brown pants that seem made with different fabric. Then the man seemed to have jumped as I saw her went pass up in front of the door and came down.


    Meeting him I somehow put my guard up as my entire body trembles. He was a young man with a medium built body. You can see just enough of his muscles and abs as he doesn¡¯t wear any shirt. He has an unusual long jagged or messy black hair and has brown eyes.  However, what was strange was his body that was filled with tattoos. It was weird as I saw skeletons, some of the bones and some have some flesh and black smokes with evil eyes all over his body as if they are in agony, anger, suffering, hating, death¡­ As I look at his creepy tattoo I fill more and more fear and somehow all of those dead creatures moved their head and looked at me!! I was petrified and surprised as drips of sweat run through my head and my body, I think I¡¯m going insane until. ¡°Shit.. Stop looking at it!!¡± The young man yelled and a cloak appeared out of nowhere as he covers them. ¡°W-what are you?¡± thanks to his yelling I somehow came back to my senses and noticed I am covered in sweat. ¡°Sigh.. you guys collapsed in front of me while I was chopping some wood covered in blood. You have been sleeping for a day, first, go to the river and wash up get refreshed. Your child is also there..¡± ¡°Aleiah..¡± Soon as she mentioned her I get up immediately and went pass door and *thud* *thud* *Bam* fall down from a tree. ¡°Ouch!!¡± I hit 4 big branches before I fell to the ground. The man came jumping down and said ¡°Hmpf.. watch your step.¡± You could have said that to me sooner but I don¡¯t have the energy to argue as I was weak due to hunger. ¡°Just go straight to your left and you¡¯ll find the river. The stupid ape will bring you your items and some food. Afterward, you can decide what to do or secretly run away.¡± The young man from our entire meeting never smiled and has the same blank expression towards me. It¡¯s like he¡¯s looking at me but at the same time not. ¡°You¡¯re weird but thank you for what-¡° ¡°Go, I have some work to do.¡± The man didn¡¯t care went chopping as somehow an axe appeared from his hands out of thin air. I want to ask about it but I need to see Aleiah quickly.


    I went straight into the direction he told me until I saw a river and at one part lies an area filled with many flowers. At the center of the flower field lies Aleiah who just sat there with her short blond hair and her hood that was still painted in blood. Her plain white dress was newly cleaned and even her body but her hood remained as it is. I went to her and called her. ¡°Aleiah!¡± But she didn¡¯t respond. I went to her by her side and she looked at me but her eyes was unfazed and she bore no reaction. She¡¯s broken. *sniff* ¡°Aleiah!!¡± I hugged her as I cried but she just kept quiet without doing anything.Find this and other great novels on the author''s preferred platform.     A moment later the wonder kong came jumping down from where we are. On his one arm, it held all my weapons and armor and on the other side held a roasted bird beast. ¡°t-thank you?¡± *Grau* it puffed its chest out as I said it, did it just understand what I just said? I washed first and took Aleiah with me but when I took the hood she started reacting and won¡¯t let it go. She always clings the hood but the water can¡¯t wash the blood that dried up on the hood. It was given to her by her mother when she was young and was important to her. Afterward, I donned my white armor, my leather pants, my boots, my metal gloves and my sword and shield that is full of chips all cleaned up. Aleiah can barely eat as I put the food in her mouth at the very least she chews her food and when she has already enough she closed her mouth when I tried to feed her.


    While we¡¯re eating the wonder kong was just their like a guard watching us as he has a banza fruit and some jerky meat on his side. ¡°Aleiah, I don¡¯t know what¡¯s going on but once we¡¯ve got to holy kingdom I will always be there for you so please be strong.¡± After spending time chatting to Aleiah even though I¡¯m the only one talking we¡¯ve decided to go back into that man¡¯s house and ask which part of the forest are we. Upon, arriving I saw the man swinging a greatsword. ¡°Are you training?¡± I tried t start the conversation. ¡°It seems my strength improve a little from heavy lifting.¡± He seems to be muttering on himself. ¡°Hey! Sir!¡± ¡°Oh! You didn¡¯t run?¡± The man looked at us with the same blank expression. ¡°Well, we would like to be on our way but it seems my strength isn¡¯t that back yet and I¡¯m afraid that I won¡¯t be able to keep the monsters at bay and so want to trouble you if we can stay for a little while?¡± I tried to be well even though this guy is somehow getting a little on my nerves. ¡°Well you can stay here but I can¡¯t provide you any more bed since I¡¯m taking back my bed.¡± ¡°Well I will try and give you a reward and tell you about the heroic deeds you¡¯ve done to us in the holy kingdom if we could please borrow your house, you see this child is suffering from a trauma tha-¡° ¡°Ok Stop!!¡± The man just made his voice higher and seems annoyed. ¡°Just don¡¯t bring any trouble. Go and rest and leave it would be my greatest reward if you never came back.¡± What? The words that he said just made my mind snapped.


    ¡°Hey! I¡¯m a knight of the holy kingdom and this child is blessed one that is of most importance. We have shown you respect as our savior but man your attitude is just that bad!¡± I yelled at the man as I couldn¡¯t control my anger anymore. ¡°Ah! I¡¯m so sorry. I didn''t-¡° ¡°It¡¯s fine. Not like I¡¯m interested in anything about you. If you don¡¯t mind I¡¯ll be going and check my traps.¡± The young man just brushes it off and made another irritating statement but he still lends us the house so I¡¯m grateful with that so now we have to- ¡°Sir!¡± ¡°What!?¡± ¡°Uhm! How do we get up?¡± ¡°Ha? Just jumped like how you jumped down.¡± Is he kidding? Now that I see it the house is on top of a tall tree. ¡°How can I jumped a tree 8 dragon tails high (290-300 feet)?¡± ¡°Just focus your mana in your legs then you can jump higher.¡± ¡°I don¡¯t have that buff¡± ¡°Huh? Buff? It¡¯s not a buff. Just focus your energy or mana on the muscles on your legs.¡± What is this guy insane? ¡°That skill can only make me jump a little bit higher!!¡± ¡°Then jump on the branches until you reach the top.¡± Then the man went on his way. The wonder kong meanwhile just sat on the ground watching us lazing on the ground while eating meat jerky. ¡°How am I supposed to do this? Don¡¯t worry Aleiah stay there I¡¯ll do something.¡±


    I spent my time slashing the tree in order to make a foothold until I reached the branches. Using that we finally able to have a rest. The bed was made up of some grass covered with many monster pelts. ¡°Did he hunt all these?¡± There were so many that make it smooth like those noble houses. The house on top of a tree has an open area where meats are hanged. ¡°So many meats.¡±  I went back inside the house and saw the Kong bring some fruits. ¡°Thank you¡± *Grau* Again he puffed up his chest and went down. I lay down on the bed together with Aleiah and Collect my thoughts.


    Yesterday the shepherd must have arrived and seen that village he must have conducted a search. I hope he did. Then I guess I¡¯ll stay here for 4 more days and if they never arrive we will go on our way to the kingdom ourselves. Well, it''s going to be pain till we reach the kingdom so let¡¯s sleep for now Aleiah. That time I fell asleep pondering my next action.


    A few days back. Near the massacred village.


    I was on a mission to escort a blessed child back to the Holy Kingdom. It was reported that the child recently birthed an ability to resurrect or revive a dead person. Such an ability was important and must not fall into wrong hands. In huma kingdom there were 5 people reported with the ability, the first 2 appeared in Menje kingdom but because of the kingdom¡¯s abuse of their power they died. The 3<sup>rd</sup> one was said taken by force by another noble in Menje kingdom and died while trying to escape. Luckily the last two was taken here and currently, in the holy kingdom and with luck, they became a part of our force. Now a familiar that we left in an unnamed village came bearing the news of a child that has the ability. Luckily the Menje Kingdom didn¡¯t have the knowledge of this but a much terrible foe appeared as the Priestess mentioned the Rouge Guild Ragnarok moves to take the child. Learning this, shepherd Carlo mobilized the 3<sup>rd</sup> battalion and himself to march. With 500 soldiers we were ready to move but alas we were just 499 because that ¡°FREJA has to move on her own!!!¡± not realizing my anger I shouted so loud the people around was surprised. ¡°Haha Relax Sir Rophil, that¡¯s just how Freja is.¡± He''s right as the commander of the 3<sup>rd</sup> battalion I must maintain my cool. ¡°Haha Freja is as troublesome as ever.¡± Riding a white horse on my left was Shepherd Carlo Leader of all Units and head of the paladin Units. ¡°Yeah, well at least she will keep them company for a while.¡± ¡°Ha!ha! Indeed! I wonder what sort of punishment you will give this time.¡± Wearing white brigandine armor and leather pants matched by his long gray hair that reaches just on his armpit and a long beard that turned to gray, The old man laughs as he held a spear with our flag that depicts a circle and an inner circle with a feathered wing on each side. As for me wearing the same armor, laughs as we near to our destination.


    Our battalion was divided into 5 company that has 100 men in each company. The Heavy knight''s company were soldiers donned with full white plated armors and a shield that stood at least 2 wyvern tails(4-5feet). Next was our Battle priests, they are units that have the basic knowledge of healing skill and at least have the mana capacity that enables them to cast heal in a candle long(1-1hour and 30 minutes) They donned white chainmail and leather pants as well as morningstar as a weapon. The third was the rider company equipped with lances and light plated armors in their body painted in white. They held a shield and a crossbow in their back as additional weapons. 4<sup>th</sup> was the magic knight company wherein they wear full plate body armor that is easily removable and chainmail underneath. They equipped themselves with a shield at least a wyvern tail long (2-2 ? feet) a sword and a Morningstar. Lastly was the special company. Every battalion has different special company. Mine was units that are good at attacking. They are wearing brigandine armors equipped with a sword and a bow. Some also have an axe on their side or a short spear.


    As we laugh our way Shepherd Carlo stopped and made a grim face. ¡°It seems we still need to continue the search and pray for her safety.¡± I stopped laughing and looked at him ¡°What do you mean shepherd?¡± asked him curiously. ¡°You¡¯ll see soon enough! Hiya! Hurry men!¡± He gallops ahead first as he made a serious face. We followed suit and shocked at the revelation of the fate of the village. ¡°NO! Freja!! Soldiers!!! Hurry!! Search for survivors!!¡± The houses were burnt and different torn parts scattered were being filled with small insects flying all over. Dried blood was everywhere as they began to smell. Some monsters can also be seen from afar eating some of the corpses. ¡°DAAAAAAAAAAAAMNNNNNN!!!¡±

 2nd Tale - Chapter 1.1 - Passing days(1)

    I thought my peaceful days in the forest will go on but I guess this world is also big and this too is unavoidable. Problems occurred when you least expected it. I was out chopping wood just below the tree house one early morning. The surrounding area was filled with golden mist that drives away weaker predators that lurks in the forest thanks to the ability of the golden Kong. It was a young Fused Kong monster I called in the VR game I played back on earth that has the ability to use the skill of the first monster¡¯s core it ate. In this world called Gaia, the Kong ate the heart of a mist monster we defeated with his mother at the cause of her life. Her son decided to stick around so I let him be and so 30 days passed by and his abilities developed like the mist monster. I decided to call him Kong or sometimes stupid Kong since it sometimes causes some trouble like stealing some meat and breaking some part of the tree house. Well, it was a nice distraction but my longing for my family and friends back home is still stronger than living here alone. I died due to Gad¡¯s inevitable fate back on earth and as compensation, I got to continue living on this planet. From the start, I don¡¯t like to live here but going to heaven will erase my precious memories. My memories are my treasures and those moments we have done even my counted years of living is so much fun and meaningful. I just don¡¯t have the drive to live here without them without my first love¡­ *CHOP*


    On that day two people came out of the fog. Two people with the same appearance of a human. I don¡¯t have the knowledge between races and their definition only their languages so I¡¯m not sure if they are called humans. They seemed to badly wounded but even so, I approached them carefully. One was a girl with long green hair wearing white armor made of metal with a sword and shield full of wounds. She carries a little girl in a bloody hood. The girl in green hair can barely hold her consciousness as she tried to look at me. ¡°p-please h-help¡­¡± She muttered before she passed out. ¡°Hah.. Now, what should I do?¡±


    That day I carried the two of them on the tree house. ¡°Graauuu¡± Kong arrived just as I placed them in the bed. ¡°Hey¡­ go get some water. Take the pot and fill it near the river.¡± ¡°Gruuh..¡± The stupid Kong just ignore my order and just went looking at the two people I put in the bed. [Inventory summon: iron war hammer] *Boom* *crash* So I summoned an iron war hammer and slammed the gorilla out of the house.  ¡°You dare ignore me Stupid Kong?!! Fine, I¡¯ll do it myself just stay there and guard the house while I¡¯m gone.¡±


    ¡®Stupid Gorilla.¡¯ Kong sleeps just near a tree from my house and summoned mists whenever he is around. I kinda ordered him that. It seems he is still tangible when the mist is around unlike the monster we fought became intangible when surrounded by its mist. The house was near a river and a few miles down is the lake and to the north was a waterfall. After I went and filled the pot with water since I don¡¯t have any bucket, I went back to see how the gorilla doing. ¡®Tsk.. he¡¯s inside again¡¯ I jump up to the house at least 300 feet above the ground. ¡°The fuck are you doing?¡± This damn gorilla just stripped the young lady off her armor and clothes. ¡°Inventory summon: Novice clothes¡± I summon my starting armor from back in the game. Well, it¡¯s just a black t-shirt and brown leather pants. It seems there is no bra here as Kong took off the bandages covering her breast. Even her underwear is just a small version of shorts. ¡®Now I¡¯m looking at a full naked body of a young woman for the first time in real¡­ Fuck it just stands up.¡¯ ¡°Hey, stupid Kong put this on her!!¡± I went down as soon as I throw the clothes on Kong¡¯s face. Shit, why does my heart pound so fast it¡¯s just a woman¡¯s body¡­ But man she has a muscular body and abs even with her thin body. The only thing that is soft is her boobs.¡¯ ¡°FUUUUUCK!!! Control yourself!!! I¡¯ve seen more on the game so nothing to be flustered about.¡±


    Kong took all her armors and weapons down and dropped them in front of me as I was sitting down on the ground. ¡°Gruuu¡± He pointed at the house. I went and checked out inside the house and to my surprise he put the clothes correctly on the green haired girl. On her side, the little girl in a bloody hood was sitting on the bed awake. Her hood came down and revealed her short curly hair and chubby little face smeared with blood. ¡®Please¡­ Help¡­ my child¡­¡¯ ¡°Who¡¯s there??!!!¡± A voice echoed in my head. ¡®Please¡­ I¡­ Beg.. you.. stranger¡­ Help her..¡¯ Another voice came out of nowhere. ¡°This is?¡± I focused my dark energy stored in my body and activated [Spirit Eyes]. It was a skill from my dark spiritual energy that enables me to see souls and astral forms that can¡¯t be seen by normal eyes. In the game ghosts or astral monsters that can¡¯t be seen without the skills are harmless and only provide information or quest. It seems this world has this things too of course. ¡®This girl is surrounded by many ghosts¡¯ The skill activated and to my surprise, the girl was surrounded by at least a hundred ghost. ¡®Should I try and absorbed them?¡¯ ¡®Oh.. Fearful being I beg you.. Have mercy and help us¡¯ The ghost were afraid and are prostrating themselves to me. So the curse is still effective huh.. Let''s ignore them for a while.


    I walk towards the child that seems to be staring at me for a while now without saying a word nor showing any emotions. ¡°Hey, little girl can you speak?¡± The girl continued looking at me without blinking and looked down as if she heard nothing. ¡°Hey what¡¯s the matter?¡± I began to feel irritated when I heard the ghost pleading and seems worried about the girl. ¡®Aleiah? Why are you spacing out?¡¯ ¡®What¡¯s wrong Aleiah?¡¯ ¡®Aleiah¡­.¡¯ The ghost was noisy but I can¡¯t help it unless I decided to absorb them.


    I took the pot with water and a piece of cloth and decided to clean her face. She reacted at the coldness of the water touching her skin. ¡°Little girl, I don¡¯t mean to scare you but it seems you just have been through something nasty.¡± I continued cleaning her but still, no sound came out then tears began falling in her eyes and made a small sound. ¡°uuhh.. uuhh..¡± The ghosts became more worried and made some more noise so I decided to shut them up. [Soul penance] A skill that turns the surrounding weak astral monster into an orb of lights and if I touched them I can absorb their soul or their evil part of the soul as the game description implied. It seems it worked but I don¡¯t want to absorb them now since I don¡¯t know the effects here. ¡°uhh¡­ pa..pa..ma..ma¡± *sniff* *sniff* The girl continued crying as she tried to remember the things that happened. ¡°Tsk¡­¡± I took the girl as I don¡¯t know what is happening right now. It seems she was traumatized by the events that happened to her. Judging by the number of ghosts that surrounds her I guess a village was attacked? Or massacred? Bandits or another kingdom way to make a slave? Well, that¡¯s the most common plot in the game I have played.


    I spent half of the day watching the child as she continues to stare until her stomach growled well mine growled first so sent Kong to bring some meat and woods. The other girl seemed to still be asleep otherwise Kong should have dragged her here too. I started cooking the meat while Kong seems to be playing with the girl making faces but the girl only stared at her. ¡°Gruuu¡± Kong was tired jumping around and decides to stare with the girl. Then the girl moved her hands and touched Kong¡¯s face as a tear drops on her face. Kong as if understand wiped her face gently with her hand and put a flower on her hair.


    ¡°Hey Kong let¡¯s eat take her here now!¡± I shouted as the meat is now ready. Well, I can only cook raw meat into barbeque with some herbs that I found that give some taste so I hope she can able to eat this hard meat. Kong took the girl gently in her shoulder and jumped at our location. I sliced the meat into smaller pieces and put them on a barbeque stick that I made and the rest was on the ground placed on a big leaf. I gave the girl the meat but she only stared on it but after some time she decides to take a bite slowly chewing her food until she finished and took another. ¡°Your name is Aleiah right?¡± I spoke but there is no response to her. ¡°You may be off with a bad journey at the start but if you ever get through with it, I¡¯m sure you¡¯ll grow up to be a great woman one day. The love and trust you made never forget them.¡± *chomp* At that time while cooking the food one of the ghost a male introduced himself as her father. I didn¡¯t respond nor talked to him but he knew I can see them and hear them. He told me everything that happened and her importance. It seemed she was like a treasure that is worth giving their lives on. But seeing this view once in a while is not bad at all. Looking at Aleiah eating her meat while the villages ghost filled with joyous and tearful smiles on Aleiah. ¡°Haaah¡­ it reminds me more of our laughter all together my friends¡­¡± Out of nowhere, I blurted it out of my mouth.

    It was afternoon when we went back as Kong carried Aleiah asleep on her arms. We put her on the bed together with the girl called Freja according to the ghost. Afterward, I went down to check my traps and continued dismantling the beasts that I have caught. It was already night when Aleiah woke up as she peed the bed. I hurried and change her clothes but she clings to her hood the moment I laid my hands on it. ¡°It¡¯s alright I¡¯m not gonna take it. It must be important to you, right? Can you take it off? I¡¯m sorry I don¡¯t have any children¡¯s clothing with me so I would like to ask you to use these animals fur for the night. I assure you they are very warm.¡± That time Aleiah wrapped herself with the bear type fur as I gave her another set of jerky meats and some fruits Kong picked. I took her dress and a small short and washed it on the river. My treehouse is filled with beast¡¯s fur and piled them on the bed and the others in the other house I built further away from here. That¡¯s the softest bed I have ever slept in and made me forget how hard the hospital bed is back on earth. Right now I took some of the pelts and slept outside on the ground. Well, it¡¯s not raining so here will do.


    I woke up early in the morning and do my early exercise of chopping some wood and swinging swords. It was my daily routine when the time I am filled with food and lazed around in 5 days straight. I realized my body became slower and sluggish afterward. So I decided to do some exercise to prepare my body at all times because if I don¡¯t keep myself healthy means that I am letting myself killed and so my memories will be erased at heaven. ¡°Hmm?¡± That time after chopping my tenth wood I saw Aleiah looking down from the house. ¡°Oh? wake up early? Err. Good morning?¡± I jumped focusing my energy on my legs and jumped a hundred feet or so up into the house. ¡°¡­¡± Aleiah just looked at me then looked down on the floor. ¡°I guess you still can hardly speak oh well. Hmm?¡± Then she pointed on the  direction where we spent the day yesterday so. ¡°Stupid Kong!! Wake up!! [inventory summon war hammer]¡± I throw the weapon on Kong as he sleeps just next to a tree. Realizing the incoming hammer he woke up and punched the weapon smashing it to pieces. ¡°You¡¯re improving Kong¡± ¡°Grau! Grau! Grau!¡± He seemed angry. ¡°Shut up! Take Aleiah here down to the flower field!¡± ¡°Graauu!¡± After hearing what I said he puffed his chest and went with Aleiah on the flower field.


    After sometime Kong went back to take some food. I was swinging my axe when I heard a Scream. It was the green haired girl and it seems she woke up. I went to check things out since that stupid Ape won¡¯t shut up. As I went up and Kong went to see Aleiah the green haired girl suddenly looked at me as if she were terrified. Her eyes were full of fear and it seems she is getting hard to breathe and then I noticed my body the evil spirits are moving. ¡°Shit¡­ Stop looking!¡± I yelled as I summoned a cloak to cover my body. Cloak in the game is treated like a headgear so the curse didn¡¯t burn it. One of my curses is that weaker people or people who have weak resistance are inflicted with fear when they are in my presence or when they look at my body. But then I wonder why Aleiah is okay when she looked at me? Is it because she is already in despair or was it because she was special? Well, I¡¯m just curious so when things calmed down I told her that the little girl she was with was at the river and she jumped down and fell from the house as she rushed in.


    I sent Kong to watch them over for a while then when they came back I was already swinging my sword as I noticed my body feels a little bit stronger even though I was a max level in the game. She then asked me if I could shelter them for a few days. Honestly, I thought they will be leaving now that she woke up. I then decided to lend them the tree house. She was very proud of herself as she keeps boasting about her position in the holy kingdom. ¡°Well, I hope things will proceed smoothly and peacefully.¡±
