 The meeting

    One year later


    I watched as the twins, Hatter, Mia, and Jax came into the kitchen. They came over to the table and sat down. Hatter asked, "What''s this meeting about?"


    I said, "Mia said she has something to tell us." Just then my parents and Mia''s parents walked into the room.


    Mia''s dad said, "Me and my wife are moving back to the other world."


    Mia said, "I''m going with them to."


    I asked, "Why?"


    "Oh, umm...I just think that it''s time to go back," Mia replied.


    I said, "Ok, I guess I can''t stop you. So when do you leave?"


    Mia''s mom said, "On about five minutes. We didn''t know how to tell you guys so we waited until the last minute."


    I said, "Ok."


    My dad said, "We''re going to move back to we''ve had our fun her but now me and my wife just want to move back."


    "Ok, but I want to stay here," I replied.


    My mom said, "You can, Hatter said you can stay with him."


    I said, "Ok." Cheshire appeared with bags and Mia''s parents, my parents, and Mia said by to everyone then they grabbed their bags and left.


    Jax asked, "Are you ok?"


    "Yeah I''m fine. It''s wierd tho Mia loved it her and she didn''t give us a reason for her going back to the other world," I replied.


    Jax said, "Yeah it is kind of wierd." I was about to reply when there was a knock at the door. Hatter got up and went to answer it. A girl with black hair and hazel eyes stood there on the porch.


    She said, "Hi, I''m Diamond."


    Hatter said, "I''m Hatter. Is there anything that I can do for you?"


    She said, "Yeah, I''m looking for Jax."


    "Ok, he''s in the kitchen let''s go," Hatter responded. They walked into the kitchen and he said, "Jax, this girl is looking for you." With that he left the room.


    Jack said, "Hi Diamond. Sapphire this is Diamond I meet her a couple days ago in the forest."

    I said, "Yeah, you won''t get to meet Mia tho for awhile she just moved back the the other world. So how did you end up in the other world?"


    She said, "Umm... im basically an orphan my parents died when I was a baby and some people from here sent me to live with a family from the other world when I was one. When i was seventeen I left that family tho because they thought I was wierd given where I was born. It''s all good tho. So you two seem kinda close."


    "Yeah me, Sapphire, and Mia we''re and are all kind of close we used to hang out a lot," Jax replied.


    I said, "We''re all kind of like brother and sister. So how do you two know each other?"


    Diamond said, "Jax came to the other world every once in a while and we meet their a few weeks later he told me about this place. Then I figured out I was born here."


    I asked, "Ok so what should we do?"


    Jax said, "We have to be at school in about an hour so we could just hang out in the forest and walk around."


    I said, "Ok, I''m glad this is are last year we have to go to this school. In the other world I would have been done with school by now. We''ll that is if I decide not to go to college."


    Jax said, "I''m only there now because I failed a year because I kept going to the other world."


    "Ok, so let''s go walk around in the forest," Diamond replied. We told Hatter that we were leaving and then we left. After a few minutes we were in the forest somewhere.


    Jax asked, "Diamond, do you come start at school today?"


    She said, "Yeah I do." I noticed Jax put his phone on the grass so I picked it up.


    He asked, "What are you doing?"


    I said, "Just checking the time. I don''t have my phone turned on right now."


    Jax asked, "What time is it?"


    "Seven-twenty," I replied.


    Diamond said, "We should head to school."


    Jax grabbed his phone from me and said, "Yeah, let''s go." We started walking and me and Diamond turned around and started walking backwards.


    Diamond said, "Isn''t the school at the end of the forest by the castle."


    "Yeah, it is," I replied.


    Jax said, "You guys shouldn''t be walking backwards you''ll probably end up hitting into something or tripping over something."


    I said, "We''ll be fine." Right after I said that I tripped on a rock.


    Jax helped me up and said, "I told you, you should listen to your brother more. I think I know you better then you know yourself."


    "I know, I should probably listen to you more," I replied.


    Diamond said, "From what I''ve gathered she''s not your actual sister."


    Jax laughed and said, "I know that we told you that me and her are basically brother and sister along with Mia. Anyway she listens to me now but should still listen to me more."


    "Ya, I''ll keep that in mind," I replied. After a few more minutes of walking we were at the school. Everyone who was in the room we walked into sat down and waited for the teacher to come in.


    When she came in she said, "Ok. We are going to come talking about the history of Wonderland." Me, Jax, and Diamond all looked at each other and then back at the teacher. Just then the door opened and Faye walked in

    The teacher asked, "What can I help you with?"


    Faye said, "I''m having everyone in the school go on break for about a month or longer." Everyone hesitated for a second but then got up and left. Me, Jax, and Diamond stayed in the room with Faye.


    Jax asked, "Why are we going on break?"


    Faye said, "Something bad had happened come with me to my castle and I''ll explain. Whoever your friend is can come with us because we can''t waste any time. Let''s go." With that she turned around and walked out of the room. We followed her outside and a few minutes later we arrived at the castle and went into her bedroom. We all sat on the floor and she pointed at Diamond and asked, "Who''s this?"


    "That''s Diamond, she moved to the other world when she was one because her oaparen died and she moved back a couple days ago," Jax replied.


    Faye said, "Ok. If she''s your friend then she can stay but she can''t tell anyone what''s happening."


    Diamond said, "I won''t."


    I asked, "So what happened?"

 Shes escaped

    "My sister has escaped from the dungeon this morning she wants to kill you two and Mia but since Mia moved to the other world she''s just going to try and kill you two for now," Faye replied


    Jax said, "Ok, so we''ll be careful and go find her then bring her back here."


    Fays said, "Ok, but I''ve heard that she has more people who are helping her this time."


    I asked, "Ok, so where do we find her?"


    Faye Sayed, "There''s a possibility that she could be at her house. I''ll give you a map that will lead you to her house." She gave us a map and then all three of us left. After a few minutes of walking through the forest Diamond stopped and looked at us.


    Me and Jax stopped ealwalk and looked back at her. She said, "I''m not going with you."


    I asked, "What do you mean?"


    "I don''t want to do this. I don''t want to become involved in what you guys are doing. I''m going home," Diamond replied.

    I asked, "Why did you kind of glare at her?"


    Jack said, "I feel like she''s hidding something. She started acting wierd when Faye mentioned that her sister got out."


    "Yeah, but then again if she''s with us the Evil Queen will try to kill her to but on the other hand I think your right," I responded. We walked in silence and then a few minutes later we we''re in front of the Evil Queens house.


    Jax said, "Come on, let''s go inside." He opened the door and we both went in. The lights were off so I walked over to a wall and turned them on.


    I said, "She doesn''t have a lot of funiture or things like that."


    "No, she doesn''t," Jax replied.


    I said,"Let''s go see if there''s anything upstairs that could be helpful to us." I went upstairs and Jax followed behind me.


    We walked into a room and Jax said, "This looks like her bedroom."


    "Yeah, it does," I replied. Jax went over to the window and looked outside.


    He said, "She''s coming, let''s hide in the closet in here and hope that she doesn''t open it." We both went into the closet and Jax quietly closed the door as she entered the room. We heard a drawer open and close then a few minutes later she was gone.


    I said, "Ok we should be good. Let''s go see what is in that drawer." We walked out of the closet and over to the drawer.


    Jax opened it and said, "This adopted papers in here."


    I asked, "Who would she adopt?"


    Jax looked at me and said, "Diamond. The papers say that Diamond is her daughter and there is also a picture of them in this drawer. Come on we need to go talk to her." He put the picture and the papers back and we left. Once we got in the middle of the forest we heard a noise so we looked up at the trees and saw some people with bow and arrows. They started shooting them at us.

 Questioning Diamond

    Jax looked at me and said, "Let''s go." He ran off and I ran after him. While running I felt something hit my arm then heard it fall on the ground. Pain shot through my arm but I ignored it and kept running. A few minutes later we reached Diamonds house and we''re out of site from the people with the bow and arrows. We stopped running and Jax turned to face me. He said, "At least they didn''t have good aim."


    I said, "They could have hit us or killed us if they want to. Come on lets go knock on the door."


    Jax said, "Hold on, there''s blood coming through your sleeve."


    "Yeah they shot me with an arrow that''s why they said they could have shot us or killed us if they wanted to," I replied. Before he could respond I went up to the door and knocked on it. A few seconds later Diamond answered it.


    She asked, "What are you two doing here?"


    Jax said, "We know that youryo the Red Queen''s adoptive daughter and your going to tell us what you know and why you kept it from us."


    Diamond asked, "Do I get a choice in the matter?"


    Jax glared at her and said, "No."


    Diamond sighed and said, "Fine, come in." We went inside and sat on the couch.


    Jax asked, "Where''s the first aid kit?"


    She said, "I''ll go get it." When she came back into the living room she asked, "What''s this for?"


    Jax said, "You''re going to tell us what we want to know while I fix Sapphires arm."


    "I''m fine Jax," I replied.


    Jax said, "You got shot in the arm with an arrow and your bleeding your not fine. Now shut up and let me help you."


    I said, "Fine." Jax stood up and took the first aid kit from Diamond and then sat back down next to me. He pulled my sleeve up and started to clean the cut out and make it so that it stops bleeding.Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences.


    Jax said, "So tell us Diamond."


    Diamond said, "Ok fine, I am her adoptive daughter but I left her awhile ago."


    I asked, "If she was your mother why did you leave?"


    "When I was a kid I didn''t know that she was bad and wanted to kill Faye and some other people. When I got older she told me everything and that she wanted me to help her but I didn''t want to so I left and moved back to the other world," Diamond replied.


    Jax asked, "Do you have any rubbing alcohol?"


    Diamond said, "Yeah." She left and came back with a bottle and a rag a few seconds later.


    I said, "You don''t have to put that on my arm."


    She gave it to Jax and he turned and looked at me. He said, "Yes i do i have to finish cleaning it out and then wrap it."


    I said, "Fine." He put some rubbing alcohol on to the rag and then pressed it against my cut. He held the rag there with his hand while he turned to face Diamond.


    He asked, "What do you mean you moved back to the other world?"


    "My mother went to the other world only one time. During that one time she decided she would need someone to help her get what she wants and to get revenge on some people. She went into an orphanage and found me. I was only two at them time but she adopted me anyway," Diamond responded.


    I asked, "How old were you when you moved back?"


    Diamond said, "I was eleven when she wanted me to join her I told her no and ran away to the other world. A couple found me and adopted me but a few weeks ago my mother somehow tracked me down and sent me a letter saying that she was coming for me and that I will help her."


    Jax said, "Ok. So if you don''t want to join her and be like her why did you move back here?"


    "She said in the letter that she wants to see me and if I don''t join her she''ll kill my foster parents and then me," Diamond replied.


    I asked, "So where are you real parents?"


    Diamond appeared to think for a second and then she said, "They died."


    Jax said, "How do we know your telling the truth?"


    Diamond said, "Maybe I am maybe I''m not that''s for you to decide." A couple minutes passed in complete silence. Jax wrapped my arm and then a few seconds later Cheshire appeared out of nowhere.


    I looked at him and said, "What are you doing here?"


    "Me, Hatter and everyone else know that some people attacked you guys in the forest," Cheshire responded.


    Jax asked, "How do you know that? "


    He said, "One of them went rouge and told us about it. He also told us who sent them.


    I said, "Yeah it was the Evil Queen.


    Cheshire shook his head and said, "No it wasn''t."


    Jax said, "Then who was it?"


    Cheshire looked at both of us then at Diamond then back at us then he said, "Diamond told them to."

 Shes crazy

    Jax looked at Diamond and said, "You told us that you didn''t want to join her."


    Diamond said, "Yeah. I also said she threatened to kill me and my foster parents if I didn''t do it. I think it''s obvious which one I chose to do. I could have had those guys kill you hit i didn''t because my mother wanted to do that herself. She told me that I could have one of the guys shoot one of you in the arm. I wanted to do that so I chose to have someone shoot Sapphire in the arm."


    I asked, "Why? I thought we were friends."


    "We we''re never friends that includes you and me Jax. Everything I told you was true but I left out the part where I decided that I really do want to help my mother because she''s the one who rasied me. My real parents abandoned me and my foster parents in the other world had like five other kids and I was the oldest so I had to help them all the time. That didn''t bug me but when my foster parents thought that I had become a bad infouinfl around their other kids they suggested that I go back to my previous foster mom and that''s exactly what I have done.     Cheshire said, "We have to go." He touched one of my arms and one of Jaxs arms and then we disappeared. A few seconds later we we''re standing in front of the Hatter''s house.


    He walked into the room and said, "Nice job finsfin them and bring them back here Cheshire." He looked at us for a few seconds and then asked, "Are you two ok?"


    Jax said, "Well, werew mad at Diamond for everything she''s done. Sapphire git giot in the arm with an arrow because of her but besides that we''re both ok."


    I said, "Yeah."


    Jax said, "She''s crazy, and bot like traditional Wonderland crazy. She''s actually crazy."


    Hatter said, "Yeah, just a little bit."


    Cheshire asked, "I know that you two can fight with a sword and things like that but can you do things like martial arts?"


    Hatter said, "I know Jax can we had someone teach him it awhile ago before Sapphire showed up with Mia."


    I said, "I can do it to. Me and Mia both took classes like that as kids."


    Cheshire said, "Good, you might not need to use it but it could be useful for you guys in certain situations."


    Jax turned to me and asked, "I haven''t done it in awhile do you want to spare or something as practice?"


    "Yeah, I guess," I replied

 Leave

    Jax got into a fighting stance and I did the same. He went to hit me with his right hand and I blocked him. I went to kick him in his side but he grabbed my ankle and twisted it until I fell on the ground.


    He said, "I thought you knew how to fight."


    "I used to. I only took that class with Mia when I was younger for about a month but we got somewhat good at it before we quit," I responded.


    Jack said, "Well there''s your problem. You guys quit. I didn''t. Well until about two years ago."


    I stood up and said, "Ok, so your a better fighter then me. Why are we doing this anyway we''re probably never going to use it."


    "I know. I just wanted to see how long you would stay up," Jax replied.


    Hatter said, "You didn''t last that long Sapphire."


    I said, "I know."


    There''s a knock on the door and Jax said, "I''ll get it." He left to get the door. A few seconds later he came back followed by Faye.


    She said, "I heard that you got shot with an arrow Sapphire "


    "Yeah, but it''s ok. It''ll heal," I responded. A few seconds passed on silence and Cheshire appeared next to the Hatter.


    Faye said, "So Diamond turned on you guys."


    Jax said, "Yeah. She wants to help her mother by hurting us."


    I said, "Or killing us."


    "Yes, that to." Jax replied.


    Cheshire looked at me and said, "I can fix your arm. I can''t fix it all the way but I can heal it a little bit."


    I said, "Ok." I tried to take the wrap off that Jax put on but I couldn''t get it off.

    Hatter said, "Let''s go into the living room " We went into the living room and I looked out the window.

    Diamond said, "Not much. Seeing what you guys are up to."


    Jax asked, "Why, does your mother want to know?"


    "Yes, she does. That doesn''t matter tho. It''s not like you guys are doing anything interesting," Diamond replied. She went past us and went up to the front door.


    Hatter said, "You can''t go in there. Besides it''s almost tea time."


    Jax said, "It''s time for you to leave." Diamond glared at us and then left. After we we''re gone we went back inside and into the kitchen. Hatter handed up some cups with tea in them.


    I asked, " So what are the twins up to?"


    Hatter said, "Oh, they left this motmorn something about not wanting to be here in case Faye''s sister showed up or something like that. I think there going to explore what''s beyond Wonderland."


    I asked, "What''s beyond it?"


    Hatter said, "I don''t think there''s much. A couple houses. Maybe some forests and things like that."


    Cheshire said, "Ok, well it''s getting kind of late I''m going to go."


    Faye said, "I''m going to go to." We said ok then they left.


    Jax said, "Let''s wrap your cut up again."


    I said "Ok." He grabbed a wrapped and a few seconds later my cut was wrapped up.


    Hatter said, "Jax, why don''t you stay here from now on given Diamond, her mother, and whoever else is looking for you."


    Jax said, "Ok. It''s just me at my house anyway since my parents aren''t alive anymore and my little sister moved to the other world."


    Hatter asked, "How long has it been?"


    Jax said, "Since they died about three-four years and as for my younger sister moving to the other world about a year, year and a half somewhere around there."


    Hatter said, "Sorry, I shouldn''t have asked."


    "Its ok. It was a long time ago. I''m over it," Jax replied.


    Hatter said, "Ok we we should go to bed. Jax, you can sleep in the room upstairs acrossed from Sapphires room."


    Jax said, "Ok." He went upstairs and I followed behind him. We got to our bedroom doors and he said, "I''ll see you tomorrow Sapphire."


    I said, "Ok." I went into my room and he went into his. I got ready for bed and eventually fell asleep.


    The next morning I woke up, got dressed and went downstairs to find Hatter at the kitchen table. He said, "Jax''s isn''t awake yet. Will you go wake him up?"


    I said, "Yeah sure." I went back upstairs and knocked on his door. There wasn''t a response so I opened the door and walked in. He was laying down in his bed still asleep so I grabbed a couple of pillows and threw then at him.


    He said, "Really."


    I said, "Yep." He sat up and grabbed one if the pillows I threw at him and he threw it back at me. It hit my arm and fell to the ground.


    He said, "Hatter''s probably waiting for us."


    I said, "Yeah he is. He sent me up here to wake you up."


    Jax said, "Ok, let me get chai and then I''ll come downstairs."


    I said, "Ok." I went downstairs and told the Hatter that he would be down in a minute.


    Hatter said, "Ok, and then we can try and figure out what to do about this Diamond and Red Queen thing." A few minutes later Jax walked downstairs and sat down at the kitchen table with me and Hatter.

 Dont do this

    Me, Hatter, and Jax sat around the table in silence. A few minutes later Cheshire, Faye, and Astra showed up. Cheshire asked, "What''s with the silence?"


    I said, "There''s not a lot to talk about right now."


    "Yes, there is. We have to figure out a plan to stop the Red Queen, Diamond, and the people helping them from killing you guys and others," Astra replied.


    Jax said, "Yeah but no one''s come up with anything yet so until then we sit here and think about it."


    Cheshire said, "Fine." A few minutes passed and suddenly the lights started flashing.


    Faye turned to Hatter and asked, "What''s going on with the lights?"


    He said, "I don''t know. I''ve never seen them do this before."


    "It''s probably just a short or something itlli probably stop soon," Jax responded. We sat there for a couple seconds and then the lights turned off and didn''t come back on.


    I said, "There shi be a back up system or something for light."


    Hatter said, "There is but I''ve never needed to use it." He got up and we followed him. He took us to where it was. Jax tried turning it on but it didn''t work. We carefully walked back into the living room.


    Faye said, "I guess we just wait for the lights to come back on then and hopefully they will." We stood there for a few minutes in silence. The silence was soon broken by a door opening and closing and then followed by a loud crash.


    Jax said, "Stop." After that everything went silent again and the lights came back on.


    I said, "So someone came in here and messed up the living room."


    "Yeah, seems that way. Jax is also not in the room," Hatter replied. Cheshire dissapered and then came back about four minutes later.


    He said, "He''s not in the house, the backyard, or the front yard."

    Hatter said, "If he doesn''t come back soon welwe go look for him." About an hour passed and no one really spoke.


    I stood up and said, "Ok, he''s not back yet it''s been like an hour let''s go look for him." Just then Jax walked into the living room. I turned around and asked, "Where were you?"


    He sakd, "Diamond sent some people to come get me."


    Hatter asked, "Why?"


    "Because they want me to kill Sapphire. I told them I''d do it," He ran up to me and tried to hit me but I ducked and his fist hit the wall.


    I asked, "Why? What did they do to you?"


    He said, "It doesn''t matter." He went to kick me in the side and I didn''t move fast enough so he hit my ribs and I fell to the ground. He walked towards me and I put my foot behind his ankle and the other one in front of his foot Tripoing him. He hit the floor and slowly got up a few seconds later. I stood up and glanced at Hatter.


    While I was looking away Jax ran up to me and twisted my right arm behind my back. He slowly started to twist it and push it up so that it would break. I said, "You don''t want to do this."


    Cheshire said, "She''s right Jax. You don''t want to do this. They''re inside your head. They took you and injected you with something that makes you more open to there ideas. They got inside your head and they''re telling you to do things that you really don''t want to do."


    Faye said, "No one can snap you out off this only you can. You have to fight it, fight them."  He stopped for a second and then oushep my arm up further.


    I winced out of pain and said, "Don''t do this." He stopped for a second and then slowly started to release my arm. When he let go I backed up and looked at him.


    He said, "Sorry Sapphire."


    I said, "It''s all good. No harm done."


    "Ok," Jax replied. A couple days passed and we didn''t hear anything from Diamond, her mother, or the people that work for them.


    Cheshire said, "They could be planning something big because they haven''t done anything to us or attempted to do anything to us for a while."


    Fays said, "Yeah, but they could be laying low for a few days because the thing with Jax back fired on them."


    "Well, let''s just come up with a plan while they''re not trying anything right now," Astra replied.


    Hatter said, "Yeah, let''s do that, but we should all hey some sleep first." We all agreed then went to different bedrooms and went to sleep. A few hours later we we''re all woken up by a loud crash. Jatter came into my room and wispered, " We''re all  meetingin my room, everyone else is already in there let''s go." I followed him into his room.


    When we got there I asked, "What''s going on?"


    Jax said, "Some people are here for you and me."


    Astra said, "We need to hide you guys somewhere for a little bit."


    "What about those tunnels under the kitchen," I suggested.


    Faye said, "That could work we just need to sneak you guys down there."


    Cheshire said, "I can just transport them there."


    Jax said, "Ok." He grabbed me and Jax and we appeared in the tunnles.


    Cheshire said, "Stay here, stay quiet, me or someone else from our frogr that you know will come get you when it''s safe." We both nodded and with that he dissapered. A few minutes passed in silence and then we heard a bunch of crashes coming from above us and from different places throughout the house.

 We need to leave

    Me and Jax stood down in the tunnels. It felt like hours passed, eventually the crashing stopped and the front door slammed shut. A few seconds later Hatter came and got us. We went into the living room and I looked around. Everything was thrown on the floor.


    I asked, "What did they do?"


    Hatter said, "They threw everything around looking for you guys. All the other rooms looks like this to."


    Jax said, "I assume that they''ll be back soon."


    "Yeah, they aren''t going to stop coming here until they find you two," Astra replied.


    Jax said, "Then the solution is simple."


    Faye asked, "What would that be?"


    "We have to leave for a few days," Jax responded.


    Hatter asked, "Ok, when do we leave?"


    Jax said, "No me and Sapphire have to leave for a few days. You guys will stay here. The people looking for us should see us leave or figure out that we left and they should follow us."


    Astra asked, "And what will you guys do if your caught?"


    I said, "Simple, we won''t get caught."


    Faye asked, "But if you are, what will you do?"


    Jax said, "Find a way out."


    "Look, Jax''s has a point. While werwe gone we can work on a plan or try and find were for sure the Red Queen is," I replied.


    Hatter asked, "But where will you stay?"


    Jax said, "We''ll camp. Now we should go grab some things that we might need while we''re gone Sapphire."


    I said, "Ok." He left the room and headed upstairs. I followed behind him and went into my room. There were clothes everywhere and the bed was flipped. I managed to find a bag to put a couple things in.


    I looked around the room and moved things around to try and find things. I found a flashlight and some batteries. Then I went and through some clothes in the bag. I couldn''t figure out what else we might need so I went into Jax''s room.


    He noticed me and asked, "Is your room this destroyed to?"


    I said, "Yeah, it is. I couldn''t figure out what to pack so I just did some batteries with a flashlight and some clothes."

    "Yeah, I couldn''t find much in my room because of the mess either and we don''t exactly have time to look for things very good," I replied.


    He said, "Yeah, we need to leave as soon as possible." He turned and walked out of his room. I followed him downstairs where everyone was waiting for us.


    Hatter handed us a small bag and said, "This has some food in it." I took the bag from him and put it in my bag.


    Faye said, "This has water and some first aid things that you might need." Jax took it and put it on his bag.


    Astra said, "Your bags dont look like they have a lot of things in them."


    Jax said, "We just grabbed bsome things and threw them into the bags. So no there not."


    I said, "We should get going before they come back " We said bye to everyone who was in the room then me and Jax left.


    We walked a little bit into the woods and I asked, "What direction sgosho we go in?"


    Jax said, "I don''t know. Knowing how Faye is and how everyone else is they probably put a map on onone of the bags." Jax put his bag on the ground and took out the one that was supposed to have water in it and first aid stuff. A few seconds later he pulled out a map.


    I said, "Leave it to them to put something that we forget into one of the bags and not tell us."


    Jax said, "Yeah, that seems like them. This also seems like them." Jax pointed to a couple spots circled on the map.


    I said, "It looks like they circled Hatter''s house, the castle, Diamonds house, and another one that looks pretty for away."


    Jax asked, "I don''t know what the other place they circled is. Do you think thafs where they think the Red Queen is."


    I said, "I don''t know but we could go there and find out."


    Jax daid, "Ok, then it looks like we''re heading east." He put the things back into his bag. He then picked it up and started to walk east. I stood there for a few seconds then started to follow him.


    We walked for awhile in silence. I eventually asked, "How long do you think it''ll take us to get there!"


    "I don''t know, at least a couple days," Jax replied. We went back to being silent and I started to look around at the things that were around us. There wasn''t much to see since we were in the forest. There was basically only trees and a few bushes. Every now and then we passed some type of animal or something. They never hurt us tho they would just look at us and then keep walking.


    The silence lasted for what seemed to be a couple hours. Jax finally broke it and asked, "Do you think that the people looking for us have figured out that we aren''t around there anymore?"


    I said, "I don''t know. If they haven''t then they''ll probably realize it soon."


    Jax said, "Yeah there bound to realize it at some point."


    I asked, "Do you think it''s the safest thing for us to sleep out on the open?"


    "We''ll be fine. Besides we won''t be completely out on the open if we find a cave or make something that blends in, or something like that," Jax replied.


    I said, "Yeah. Besides we both have basic survival skills."


    Jax said, "Yeah. We''ve been walking for awhile and it seems like the sun is setting so we should find a place to spend the night." I didn''t respond and we both kept walking. A few minutes later we came to a small clearing in the woods with tall trees leaning towards each other so that they covered the sun and you couldn''t see anything above them.


    I said, "Let''s just stay here." Jax nodded his head and he put his bag down on the ground. I did the same thing. I took the bag that Hatter gave to me and gave it to Jack. I then stood up and walked around the clearing to see if I could find anything.


    A few minutes passed and Jax said, "Come on, we should eat something." I walked over to where he was and sat down.


    He handed me some food and asked, "Did you find anything?"


    I said, "No, nothing that would cause us problems or give us away."


    We finished eating in silence and then Jax said, "I''m going to try and sleep."


    I said, "Ok, I''m going to stay up a little longer."


    He said, "Ok, but you need to sleep at some point tonight."


    I said, "I know. I will, just not now." A few minutes later he fell asleep and I decided to climb one of the trees out of boredom.

 Stay there

    I reached for one of the branches and started to climb it. When I was about ten feet up, I went to reach a branch that was far up. I could reach it so I tried to jump and reach it. I jummped and ended up barley being able to grab the branch. I tried to pull myself up so that I could continue climbing but I couldn''t do it. I felt one of my arms pull as if something shot me. I looked at my arm and realized that I had forgotten about the cut on my arm. It opened agian because Cheshire was only able to heal it half way.


    I tried to pull myself up on the branch again trying to ignore the pain that was shooting through me arm. I failed to pull myself up again and I lost my grip. A couple seconds later a hit the ground.  I looelo at my arm and noticed that blood was soaking through the wrap that was partly on my arm.


    I got up and walked over to Jack. I grabbed his bag trying to find the first aid stuff that Faye packed for us. A bottle of water fell out of the bag and hit Jax''s head. He woke up and stared blankly at me. I looked at him and a few seconds later he said, "Really."


    I laughed and said, "Sorry."


    He sat up and asked, "What are you doing?" I said nothing and went to my bag and grabbed the flashlight. I turned it on and had the light hit my arm. He said, "Let me guess you forget it was there, then did something stupid and it opened up agian."


    I said, "Yeah, I tried to climb a tree."


    He asked, "How did that work out for you?"


    I said, "I fell out of it."


    "Of course you did," He replied. He took the flashlight from me and set it on the ground shinning on us. He then found the first aid kit and Sid, "Come here." I did what he told me to and walked over to him. He grabbed my wrist and had me sit next to him.


    He took the old wrap off and studied my cut for a few seconds. He said, "Well, it didn''t reopen all the way. That''s the good thing." He made it stop bleeding then grabbed some disinfectant and cleaned it out. After that he wrapped it again.


    I said, "Thanks."


    He put the stuff away and said, "No problem. Now we should get some sleep." I agreed and we went to bed.


    When morning came we ate and then went to different spots to change. About an hour later we were ready to leave.  We grabbed are bags and started to walk.


    After walking for a few minutes a stopped and looked at Jax. He looked at me and I asked, "Do you here that."


    Jax asked, "Hear what?"


    I said, " It sounds like someones running towards us." As soon as I said that Jax pulled a knife out of his bag. We both stood there on a fighting position for a few minutes and then three people ran up to us. One of them through a knife at Jax. He ducked and through the knife that he was holding at the guy who tried to hit him.


    Meanwhile the other tow guys were trying to fight me without any weapon. I tripped one of them then turned around and punched the other one.     Jax pulled out another knife and hit the guy was was pinning me down with it. It hit his shoulder and he fell to the ground. I tripped the other one and stood up holding him down. The thrid guy went to run up to me and Jax but Jax picked up a knife and turned to face him. He said, "Stay there."


    The guy looked at him and asked, "Why?"


    Jax said, "If you don''t want to die. Then I''d suggest to stay where you are." The guy didn''t respond but he did what Jax had told him to.


    I asked, "Did Diamond send you?" None of them replied and I asked, "Who sent you?"


    Jax said, "If I were you I woywo listen to her." I took a knife that was laying on the ground and got ready to throw it at one of the guys while holding one of the guys down at the same time.


    One of the guys said, "Fine. Yes she did, but not to kill you to bring you to her."


    I asked, "And where is she?"


    "With her mother, at her mother''s house, or more like her mother''s hide out," another guy responded.


    I said, "Get out of here."


    The guy that I was pinning down said, "Or what."


    Jax said, "Agian I say if you dont want to die here."


    The guy who got hit with the knoge stood up and said, "DoamDia and her mother can keep their money. It''s not worth this." The other two agreed with him. Two of the guys left and I looked at the guy that I was pinning him down.


    Jax asked, "There are more searching for us aren''t there?"


    The guy said, "Yes, about ten."


    Jax said, "Sapphire, let him go." I hesothesi but then stood up and he ran off.


    Back with Hatter and everyone else...


    Faye asked, "How do you think Jax and Sapphire are holding up?"


    Hatter said, "I''m sure there fine."


    Astra asked, "Do you think they found the map yet with what we think the Red Queen''s hide out is?"


    "Yeah, most likely. If that''s the case there probably on there way there to try and figure out a plan all while trying to get the people looking for them confused," Cheshire replied.


    Faye asked, "What do you mean by confused?"


    Hatter said, "Think about it  if they went in a straight line to where they are going they''ll be easier to track, but if they don''t go on a strait line and they walk in different directions or on circles or something like that they will be harder to find.


    Astra said, "Let''s just hope that they ate ok."


    Hatter said ,"Yeah. Now come one we should try and put things back where they go and clean up as much as we can today."


    Back with me and Jax....


    I followed behind Jax as he kept making turns. I asked, "What are you doing?"


    He said, "If we stick to one path they can track us easier, but if we don''t it''ll make it harder for them to find us."


    I said, "Ok." A few hours later we came up to a place with a lake. Up the lake a little bit there''s a ledge and then a waterfall. Around the lake there''s some open space, trees, a few flowers, some bushes, and a few rocks. I asked, "What is this place?"


    Jax said, "I don''t know. I do know that we are outside of Wonderland a little bit and the few places outside of Wonderland don''t have names. However it''s hard for people to tell when there not around Wonderland sometimes because the forest just keeps going."


    I looked at him for a second and said, "Ok." I walked up to the water fall to see if there would possibly be anything behind it. I said, "Jax come here."


    He walked up to me and asked, "What is it?"


    I said, "Theres a spot behind the waterfall that is flat and there''s a spot between the waterfall and this cliff thing that you can go through." I went trough the space and to the ground that is behind the waterfall.


    Jax followed me and said, "It''s a little loud here because of the waterfall, but anyone looking for us probably wouldn''t look for us here."


    I asked, "Why do you say that?"


    He said, "One, a lot of people probably doesn''t know about this spot behind this waterfall and two if the people looking for us for know about this they would probably think that it''s to obvious to hide here so they wouldn''t look her. Three, it''s kind of loud so people on the other side can''t hear us."


    I said, "Ok, then we should stay here for awhile to try and figure out what to do if when we get to the place that is cirlced on the map that if they are there and they see us what we will do. Even if it is the right spot and they are there and don''t see us then what also to do."


    Jax said, "Ok, then let''s stay here for a little bit."

 We need to go

    We stayed there for what seemed like forever. Everything was silent exept for the sound of the waterfall.


    Jax said, "So we don''t have a plan."


    I thought for a second then said, "Nope, nothing."


    "We shouldn''t stay here any longer we should keep going," Jax replied. He stood up and went out of the waterfall. I followed him and we started following the map again.


    The day passed slowly and me and Jax rarly said anything to each other. We both seemed to be wrapped up in are own thoughts. Nightfall came and we made camp.


    Jax said, "We should be where the Red Queen is staying at tommorow." I nodded my head but didn''t say anything. We we''re both scilent the rest of the night.


    The next morning when we got up there was a few guys standing around us. One of them said, "Good, you guys are awake now."


    Jax stood up and got into a fighting stance and I did the same thing. Jax asked, "Who are you guys?"


    "Not important. We''re taking you to the Red Queen," Another one replied.


    I asked, "And if we refuse?"


    The one standing closet to me said, "We''ll force you. Your coming with is either way." I turned and kicked him in the ribs. He hit the ground and two guys ran up to me and grabbed my arms. Jax tried to help me but two more grabbed him.


    The guy I kicked stood up and said, "Let''s go." They started walking and making is go with them. A couple hours later we approached a house. They drug us inside and threw us onto the floor of the small room we stood in.


    The Red Queen showed up and said, "Tie them up." They jerked me and Jax up and tied us to some hooks that were on the wall. Then she said, "We all have things to do. When we come back we will either kill you or use you to get your friends to come for you then kill all of you." The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.


    I said, "Good luck with that."


    She walked up to me and said, "If I were you I''d shut up." She turned and walked out of the room. The people who brought us to her followed after her. There was a sound of a door opening and closing and then scilence.


    Jax said, "I''ll try and break the ropes." He attempted to break the ropes but failed. I tried to do it and the ropes burned me.


    I flinched and said, "The ropes are burning me."


    Jax said, "It wouldn''t make sense for them to tie you up with ropes that would burn you if you try to get out of them but not me." Jax tried to get out of his ropes again and I the process the ropes that were around me burnt me.


    I said, "There connected to me. If I move my ropes they''ll burn me. If you move yours and try to get out of them my ropes will agian burn me.


    "So they are trying to kill you right now but not me," Jax replied.


    I said, "Seems like it. After all I''m the one who first tried to free the white queen. You didn''t agos up until after me and Mia let her out of the cell." About an hour passed and in that time I told Jax to try and get free of the ropes. He didn''t want to but he did it anyway.


    He found a pocket knife in his back pocket. He was able to reach it so he used that to cut the ropes. He then walked over to me and cut the ropes that were around me.


    I had burns around my arms where the ropes were tied around me. Jax asked, "Are you ok?"


    I said, "Yeah fine. There just burns." Jax studied the ropes and then looked at me.


    I asked, "What?"


    He said, "There''s more to those ropes then the burns. They set the ropes up so that they would burn you but they also put some type of poison on the side of the ropes that were up against you. So when it burned you the poison would also somehow enter you blood stream."


    I said, "So I''m going to die."


    He said, "No. That''s not going to happen. We''re going to go and get you back to the Hatter''s house. When we''re were there Cheshire and the Hatter can cure you."


    I said, "Ok." Just then the sound of voices came from outside of the house.


    Jax said, "We need to go."


    I said, "So run."


    "Yeah basically," Jax responded. We ran out of the room and found the back door of the house. Once outside we sprinted into the woods. After we we''re into the woods a ways and they couldn''t track us we stopped running.


    I said, "I don''t feel so well."


    Jax said, "You don''t look so well either. It''s the poison that''s in your blood stream. It''ll be ok we just need to keep moving."  I looked at him for a second. Then everything statrted to spin. A few seconds later everything went black.

 Waking up

    I woke up to see that I was back at the Hatter''s house in my bedroom. I was confused on how I got to the Hatter''s house. Then I remembered what happened with the ropes. Jax must have taken me back here but how long was I out for?


    A few minutes passed and I got up and went downstairs. I found Jax and everyone else sitting around the table. Hatter said, "Well look who''s finally awake."


    I looked at then and asked, "What do you mean finally. How long was I out for?"


    Faye said, "About three days."

    Astra said, "A few people who work for Diamond and her mother kept coming by the house. There coming back today and they''re planning on this being the last time they come."


    I asked, "Why is that!"


    "Because Diamond and her mother are coming with two others today and they plan on killing us," Hatter replied.


    I said, "Oh."


    Jax said, "So we fight them until we either all die or they give up or something."


    A few hours passed and everything was silent. It was like no one really knew what to say. Eventually there came a lound bang from outside.


    It sounded to be coming from the backyard. We all got up and looked out the window


    Tweedle Dum said, "There here."  Hatter left the room and came back a few seconds later with some swords.


    He handed them to us and said, "Let''s go." We opened the back door and stepped outside to face them.

 The Ending

    Diamond looked at me and said, "Your still alive. I thought you would be dead by now."


    The Red Queen said, "She will be soon. They all will be." I said nothing and swung my sword at The Red Queen. It cut her acrossed her arm before she had a chance to move back.


    The two guys who were with Diamond and The Red Queen stepped forward and started fighting Hatter and Jax. The twins got freaked out and ran off while Faye and Astra started fighting Diamond.


    Me and The Red Queen started fighting each other with are swords. The guy Jax was fighting took his sword and swung and him. Jax didn''t move in time and the sword cut his arm. The guy took another sword and cut one of Jax''s legs.


    Jax yelled and I turned to see if he was ok. When I turned back The Red Queen caught me off guard and pinned me to the ground holding her sword against my throat.


    I tried to move and get away but I couldn''t. She said, "Now I''m going to kill you like I killed Diamond''s parents."


    Diamond stopped fighting Astra and Faye and turned to face The Red Queen. She said, "You told me that my actual parents died and you didn''t know how."A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.


    Everyone stopped fighting and turned to look at Diamond and the Red Queen. The Red Queen hesitated and then said, "I know what I told you. I lied, I had to."


    Diamond pointed her sword at her and asked, "Why?"


    "I knew if I told you the truth that you wouldn''t join me and I need you to help me," The Red Queen replied.


    The guys who came with them through their swords on the ground. One of them said, "That''s messed up."


    The second one said, "We one you were crazy but still. Were done following you."


    The Red Queen said, "You can''t be done. You work for me. Kill them."


    The two guys picked up there swords and pointed them at her. The Red Queen grabbed me and put me in a choke hold with the sword against me still. She said, "Your not going to do anything to me. If you do I''ll kill her."


    Some of Fayes gaurds showed up and surrounded her. She was caught off guard by all of the guards and I was able to grab her sword from her.


    Faye said, "Take her somewhere away from here. Somewhere where she won''t be able to get out and keep an eye on her. The guards nodded and grabbed her.


    Dimond ran forward and swung her sword at The Red Queen. The blade cut her acrooacr her stomach. Jax ran up and grabbed Dimond before she could do anything else.


    The guards left with her and locked her up. Diamond asked, "So what are you going to do with me?"


    Faye said, "Your going to go back to the other world and not come back. If you come back wellw lock you up."


    Dimond said, "I understand." She left and we went back into the Hatter''s house. The next day eveything went back to normal.
