《Beyond the Black Sea》 Prologue For days he had walked forward, although he had long lost the ability to feel fatigue, he was getting tired mentally. Sirus had seen nothing but black snow for years, and ever since the sun turned black, the sky had been perpetually colored a very dark shade of ominous grey. He had nowhere left to go, humanity and every other kind of life was wiped out a few centuries ago, he could barely even remember how the world looked like before the First Flood. Now, all was left was him, the blackness that surrounded the world, and the corrupted souls of life that had once been abundant in a time long forgotten. The world was unsalvagable, not even divine power could bring it back. ''Maybe I should to go to space...'' he thought. It wasn''t something he had though of just now, he had already tried it, and yet no matter how hard he had tried he just couldn''t jump to outer space. ''Maybe, just maybe, if I pile a tower of snow high enough I might just be able to reach it... so the---'' A loud rumble of the earth, followed by a sudden explosion from below the ground had rudely interrupted his thoughts. A huge pillar of snow rose from the earth, while chunks of black ice rained from the sky. Seeing a chunk of black ice around 30 times his size about to drop down on him, Sirus casually smacked it away with the back of his hand, causing it to shatter into countless tiny little pieces, broken like a shard of thin glass. Instead of focusing his attention to the other chunks of falling ice, his eyes were glued to the creature that crawled out of the ground. A long centipide-like body had come out of the ground, its width was around 20 meters while its body which had yet to fully appear was already past 80 meters in length. Its body was pitch black and its back was covered by a thick carapace, with an exposed spine with sharp edges running down the middle. On the sides were countless legs, sharpened like blades, but the most grotesque part of the creature had to be the deformed humanoid heads and torsos that seemed to have been forcefully blended together on its lower body, their disfigured mouths realeasing wails of agony.Did you know this text is from a different site? Read the official version to support the creator. Sirus looked at the creature as it slithered towards him, his expression completely hidden by the tattered black hood on his head. Just a few centimeters away from Sirus, the gotesque centipide-like creature that was dripping with a black viscous liquid suddenly stopped its movements. It almost seemed tame in front of Sirus. "I see your names, I hear your soul, I feel your suffering," he said in a sorrowful tone as he brought he placed his hand on the creature''s head. "Don''t worry, I hope you find a better place than this. Somewhere fun hopefully." Just as Sirus finished his words, he retracted his hand from the black creature he had referred to as the Tainted. Several cuts appeared on the black creature''s front running all the way down to the end of its body, a fountain of black liquid, that could be called its blood sprayed everywhere, creating a lake of blackness as it fell to the ground, unmoving, its body cut into several long strips. Whatever had happened to the creature couldn''t have been considered as death as the creature itself was something created by the manifestation of the desceased. Sirus always felt uncomfortable everytime he faced a Tainted, as he could see them, and their calls of freedom, not even knowing they had long since died. He shook his head. removing the unnecessary thoughts from his mind. Then... just before he was about to continue on his way, several more rumbles came from the ground below. ... ...... ........ In the wasteland of infinite black snow, on a tower made out of the corpses of different black deformed creatures, Sirus sat down crossed leg. He had given up on trying to jump to space, for now. Preparing to jump back down to continue his fruitless search, a sudden laugh resounded from behind him, making the hair on his body stand on end. At first he needed to be sure, touching his lips and confirming they were shut. He looked behind seeing a black void, something that had darkness even surpassing than that of death itself, it simply existed there, tearing at the space around it. Staring curiously at the hole, he got closer. "Found you!" a voice said, coming from inside the darkness, a hand suddenly launched out, grabbing Sirus by the collar before forcefully dragging him into the void. Chapter 0: The Being of the Void The world was unprepared for that moment, everyone was going on with their lives, not knowing that today would be the start of the eternal ending. Nobody saw it coming, it was the Crimson Rain that first brought chaos, destorying order the moment it appeared. Those who had been subjected to the blood red droplets would either go into a murderous rage or receive a painful drawn-out death, with blood leaking out of every orfice in the body. He remembered the scene, it would be the first time he would kill. His first victim, his own friend. Neither of them were turned mad by the Crimson Rain, but one of them needed to kill the other in order to survive. Looking back now, he couldn''t even remember why exactly, perhaps he could''ve thought of another way, but at this point he couldn''t even remember his friend''s name. Yet he remembered something clearly from that day. It was the reflection of his own face as he stared down on the puddle of blood of the only friend he had trusted. Athough he might not have been under the effects of the cursed rain, something had broke inside of him that day. And even after he betrayed her, he could still recall her face as she was bleeding to death, her undying smile continued to stay on her lips, her eyes looking straight at him, inside them was... pity. And so, the first flood came. = 0 = 0 = 0 = Siirus yawned as he stretched his arms. It was the first time he slept in decades, he had forgotten how refreshing it actually felt. "Something feels off..." he thought as he opened his eye seeing nothing but an infinite black space. There was no snow, no sky, no Tainted, nothing but pure unfiltered darkness. He could barely recall anything as he dug around his brain to figure out how he had gotten himself into such a predicament. ''Oh right, a hand!'' he exclaimed internally. A slender ghastly pale hand with sharp black nails, it was all he could remember. All the time he spent alone in an empty world must''ve messed with his ability to remember things... somehow. Although he could normally see in a pitch black environments, in this black space he wa no different to a blind man. Wait...then again he might''ve actually gone blind, though unlikely, after all that has happened it wasn''t impossible. "Hey! Over here!" a high-pitched female voice called out. Floating in the empty space just above Sirus was a girl. She held the face and physique of a young blossoming girl around 13, and her fine facial features were a combination of the words, ''childish'' and ''innoccent''. Sirus stared at the stark naked girl that was curled up into a ball whist slowly hovering around him like a satellite. Upon a closer look Sirus could see the girl''s bluish white hair that reached all the way down her ankles, it looked both incredibly soft and silky, flowing freely as if it had no weight. Her skin was ghastly pale with no visible veins, while only one of her two eyes was visible as the other hid behind her bangs, it was a deep red, just like the color of blood, its features were just like that of a wolf''s, beautiful as a perfectly polished gem. Blinking his eyes at the strange scene, Sirus opened his mouth, but found himself unable to produce any words. After centuries of isolation, his only conversation partners in the last few hundred years were roughly made snowmen and the howling winds. How was he supposed to react after meeting someone who could actually talk back? The longest ten seconds in Sirus'' life commenced as he simply stared at the girl above him as she slowly hovered around him. "So..." the girl spoke, opening her thin red lips, flashing sharp canines. "My name is Zenith, how are you?" she said, finally breaking the awkward silence.A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation. Hearing the girl, Zenith, speak, Sirsu was dragged out of his daze as he scrambled to form a reply. "Hel---" he suddenly halted his words. He had just realized that the girl spoke to him in a language he was not familiar with, but for some reason he understood her words. ''Should I do sign language?'' The girl watched the hooded person curiously from above with an eyebrow raised, it took a good while for the boy to figure out his dillema, finally deciding to just reply with a thumbs up. Spinning in the void while curled up in a ball, Zenith chuckled softly. "It''s fine, it''s fine, any language will do," she said in English. "Uh, okay the... I guess my name is Sirus... I can''t really remember my last name..." replied Sirus shyly, his conversation skills betraying him, as it lacked any basic structure. And even a thousands of years passed, his mentality and attitude hadn''t changed in the slighest, retaining his rather childish nature, and like a child, he was afraid of being embarrased, especially in front of the first actual person he had seen after centuries, there was also the fact he didn''t do too well handling the opposite sex. Zenith''s lips curled into a subtle smile. She found it quite cute how Sirus responded. Slowly, she drifted closer towards Sirus while totating slowly. She stopped just before she touched noses with Sirus. Using her breath, she blew off the hood on Sirus'' head. Without his hood to shroud his appearance, Sirus face was on full display. He had the face of a boy in his mid-teens, with messy ash gray hair that reached all the way down his waist, pale skin, and a single clear blue eye reminiscent of the morning skies before the world ended, while the other eye was stitched shut. He also had a strange smile stuck to his face, almost as if it had been plastered on, one could only wonder if it was fake or genuine. "You don''t look quite bad, you''re certainly within the top 200 000 most beautiful beings I''ve seen in my life," said Zenith as she started messing around with Sirus'' face. Sirus stayed quiet, still keeping his smile as Zenith stretched out his cheeks, although unsure if he should take her words as a compliment, then later deciding to just let it be. After taking her time playing around with Sirus'' face, Zenith floated backwards awaay from him, her index finger placed in her lips with a "hmm~" type of expression. "That---" she pointed at Sirus'' stitched eye, "---is just like mine," she said, pointing back towards her own eye that was hidden under her bangs. She lifted her bangs uo with her hand, revealing an eye stitched closed, exactly like Sirus'' eye."Do you know how to open it?" Zenith asked, getting a quick shake of the head meaning ''no'' from Sirus as a reply. "I guess it''s better that way... for now." Sirus cleared his throat, tapping his finger on his thigh. "So... why am I here exactly... is this like a dream, or did I like, die,,, or something?" Zenith suddenly laughed, spinning around like a top. "I brought you here, haha..." she replied slowing her revolution, while still not completely recovered from laughing. Sirus raised an eyebrow at her words. "Why?" Floating closer to SIrus, Zenith stared into his blue eye, her childish expression gone. Looking into the girl''s crimson eye, Sirus felt strange, almost as if he was being swallowed by something hidden within. Suddenly the trance broke, as if something dragged him backed to reality, he shook his head. Zenith chuckled at the scene, distancing herself away from Sirus. "I''m here to make you mine, and after that I''m going to use you as my entertainment." Sirus tilted his head in confusion, he couldn''t understand what the girl meant. Seeing Sirus'' confusion, Zenith smiled. "Don''t worry, I''m sure you were bored of your dead world, so I''m going to bring you to a new one, I won''t even need you to follow orders, I''ll just watch, I''m sure it''ll be much more interesting that way." Zenith moved in closer towards Sirus. She held his face in her hands, licking her lips as she stared again into his eye. A single crimson tear flowed down Zenith''s and Sirus'' stitched eyes as it emanated a soft violet glow. "I don''t thin---MMmmmNnnn!" Sirus'' words were muffled as red lips met his. The two were locked in a deep kiss, Sirus tried to move away but found himself unable to control his body. Feeling their tongues intertwining, he panicked. Then, suddenly regaining the ability to move, Sirus pushed Zenith away. "WHAT WAS THAT!?" he exclaimed, breathing heavily, his cheeks beet reed in embarassment. He could still taste the incredibly sweet flavor of Zenith''s saliva. Placing her hand over her lips, Zenith''s mouth curled into as smile. "I made you mine, just as I said, and so now, I''m going to send you to your new world, good luck!" As Zenith snapped her fingers, a soft violet glow enveloped Sirus. "W-wai---" Sirus tried to speak, but his vision suddenly turned black, his senses turned null as he found himself with no control over his body once again. Zenith watched as Sirus disappeared from the void. Once again, only she remained in the infinite realm of darkness. She had to admit that company felt good every few centuries, but she had better plans for Sirus. ''I know you won''t disappoint me,'' she thought, grinning, alone in the Void. Chapter 1: Mia Ever since that incident he saw the world in a different color. He realized that the world wasn''t black or white, but rather, it was gray. Everything in the world was grey, and it was up to him how to see things, he was only one that could color his world. He remembered that she would always see the world with a smile, and so he wondered just how brightly she saw the world. She didn''t seem to feel her own pain as she never frowned, but for others, even as she smiled tears would fall when faced with the pains and sadness of other people. It was utterly illogical, and she, was utterly hopeless. Still, in the end, it turned out that he was the one who was actually hopeless. And in her final moments, as she died by his hand, she gave him his final gift... a heart. That day he promised to take the burden she held, so he smiled, even as the world burned. = 0 = 0 = 0 = "It''s quite the beautiful day, hmm~ too bad master isn''t here to enjoy it with me," she sighed, a tinge of disappointment attached to the end of her words. The sun was just about to rise, peeking from just below the mountains, covering the earth in its gentle light. She sat down the edge of a cliff, her feet dangling below, kicking lightly. She was overlooking the entire forest with hundreds of miles worth of lush greenery, it was simply nature''s beauty in all majestic glory. She had always used to watch the sunrise with her master, but today he needed to go somewhere urgently, leaving the shop to Auntie, but she was a really heavy sleeper and wasn''t all that interested with the sunrise, and then there was everyone else at the shop, but all of them were really busy. And so now, she felt somewhat lonely. ''Mmm... if only I had a friend to watch the sunrise with...'' *Boom!* A loud explosion suddenly came from behind her, almost as if something fell from the sky, causing her to jump in surprise. Quickly turnings her head to look behind, she saw something---or rather, someone, with half his body lodged into the ground. Smoke was even moving upwards from the newly created crater. Little black bat-like wings popped out of her back, fluttering into life as it carried her small slender body into the air. Cautiously, she slowly flew closer towards the crater, a long black slender tail with a spade shaped tip wagging curiously behind her. "Hmm~?" She carefully peeked down into the half a meter long crater. ''Just as I thought, it really is a person! Is he okay though?'' Seeing that the person wasn''t moving, she decided it to be safe to get closer. Grabbing the person by his legs, she mustered her strength and started uprootin---pulling him out of the earth. "Oooohhh!!! You''re reeeally heavy!!!" she said whilst she pulled with all her strength, her wings flapping faster and faster in reverse, but somehow, the person didn''t budge a bit. Letting go of the person''s legs, she landed back on the ground and sat down crossed legged. She took a moment to regain her breath. Standing back up, she lifted her long sleeves up her shoulders. "Hmph! I won''t let some human mole rat defeat me!" she said, her spirit all fired up as she imbued her body with mana. "With this, I''ll even be able to carry a bear with ease!" This time she used two hands and pulled on only one leg. Her teeth was clenched as she strained her muscles, sweat pouring down her face. "Oryaaa!!!" after making a weird sounding battlecry, the mana inside her body increased for an instant as she did a single powerful pull.If you find this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the infringement. Falling to the ground exhausted, she looked above and saw the person flying trough the air. He had a good 5 seconds of air time before crashing into a huge tree that partially turned into splinters. "Oh no..." At this point she was wondering if he was even alive, well now that she though about it, what were even the chances of him being alive if he had actually fallen from the sky. ''Then again, master really isn''t so different, maybe they''re related?'' she thought, watching the person, once lodged into the ground, now lodged into a tree trunk without any hint of movement. Just to make sure, she flew towards the person pinned into the body of a huge tree that almost seemed like it would topple over at any moment. Rubbing her chin with an eyebrow raised she inspected the boy in front of her. She imbued her dark blue eyes with mana as she activated [Appraisal], causing them to give off a light glow. "Hmm..." She watched as a semitransparent status screen appeared in her vision. [Name: Sirus / Age: - / Gender: Male / Race: -] [Level: -] [Stats: -] [Skills: -] [Status Effects: -] Surprised at the lack of contents she deactivated the skill. She found it strange that despite having [Appraisal] at level 9, just one level before complete mastery, most of the boy---Sirus'' description stayed hidden. He must have been strong, well considering he hasn''t straight up corpse-ified from all that had happened on the last few minutes, must mean he at least has exceptional durabili---endurance. But then on the bright side... ''He looks pretty cute, just like how Auntie likes them. She always complained about the lack of lover''s in her life, maybe this will cheer her up. He looks pretty sturdy too, so win, win!" she thought, throwing her fist into the air while complimenting herself for her own ingenuity. Then, she realized the standing problem. ''How do I get him out of here?'' Snapping her fingers in realization, she beamed, a subtle "Aha!" left her lips as she grabbed the whistle on her neck. The whistle, made from special metal, it had the name ''Miniria'' engraved on it as proof of ownership. It was the whistle that her master made for her. ''I''m supposed to use this to call Sylvie, but would she really come? She usually sleeps during this time of day, and any other time really, can one really live by sleep alone?'' sighing she shook her head. ''Well... it''s worth a try.'' Blowing on the whistle, a sharp sound rings out into the surroundings. "..." After a few moments, she realized a small glint in the sky. It became bigger, and bigger, and bigger, until... *Boom!* A huge suit of silver armor shot down from the sky like a meteor in front of her, dragging along the earth before losing momentum, creating a long line of plowed dirt. Miniria---or rather, Mia, stood still, seemingly in a daze, before hurriedly running towards the suit of armor. Realizing that the suit of armor wasn''t moving and was dented and dirty all over, she put her hands over it. Casting both [Repair] and [Clean], she watched as the armor stood up from the ground, looking as if it was brand new. The suit of armor, now standing on two feet, seemed to have realized that his helmet was facing the wrong way and twisted it back into place. It looked at her with two blue glowing lights under the visor to substitute as eyes. "Lady Miniria, I was thro---sent here by that bit---sloth demon, saying you needed help, is that true?" asked the suit of armor, its voice seemed aggravated midway, but then immediately returned to it''s normal respectful manner of speech, holding in any vulgar language. "Albert, I already told you to call me Mia, Lady Miniria is just way too long," she said crossing her arms. "Oh, please forgive me for forgetting, La---Mia," replied the suit of armor in an apologetic tone, it seemed like it could have bent over and lowered it''s head in apology if it didn''t lack the proper joints. Smiling in satisfaction, Mia looked over at the boy that was stuck inside the trunk of a tree and pointed. "I need to get him to Auntie." She watched as the suit of armor rubbed his non-existent chin while he seemed to size-up the boy she pointed at. "Indeed, he looks like just the type Lady Kathleen would want, his left eye might pose a problem, but otherwise, he fits the criteria, 9/10 points." She simply replied with an "Mm..." as she nodded her head in agreement. The suit of armor started walking towards the boy. Rubbing both his gauntlets together he got down tugged at the boy''s legs. "HhUUuuuUUUuuRRrrrGGggg!!!" the suit of armor grunted as he pulled back, his metal sabatons digging into the ground, and then---"SON OF A BI---...u-uncultured mother..." Mia watched as the suit of armor nearly let out a curse as gauntlets were ripped off, still attached to the boy''s legs---his body still hadn''t moved an inch. ''This is going to take a while...'' she thought as she listened to the suit of armor''s stifled curses. Chapter 2: Wake During the aftermath of the second flood, walking corpses littered the streets---hunting and killing everything that had flesh on its being, but even they paled in front of the severity of humanity''s inborn brutality. He watched as the world was turned inside out, its hidden gore and darkness hidden just beyond the surface was revealed to everyone. It was then during that time that he first felt the structure weaken. The souls tainted black corrupt the core of the world. The beginning was a means to an end, while the end was a means to nothingness. Thus, humanity fractured. = 0 = 0 = 0 = Leaping out of the bed he immediately scanned his surroundings. "Huh?" His smile didn''t leave his face, but Sirus'' eyes revealed his confusion. He looked around and everything was no longer black, Zenith was nowhere to be seen. Instead everything had become so colorful and vibrant. The stench of death, was gone, replaced by the smell of fresh air with the slight inclusion of pine. The eternal winter that blanketed the earth had been changed to a homely warmth. Even the howls of the souls of the dead had been silenced, and only the sweet singing of birds and sound of clicking insects resounded. Under his feet was not snow and ice, but a floor made out of wood, even the walls that contained him was made of wood, and inside of this wooden box was a soft bed, a table, two chairs, a cabinet, and other furnishings. He was inside of somebody''s room. Scratching his head in confusion, his smile widened as he turned his head towards the glass window. Peeking outside his eye perceived something unbelievable---nature. Everything was so full of life that nothing in his memories of the past even came close to recreating such a scene. *Knock!* *Knock!* "Hey, are you awake?" a female voice asked from behind the door, and just like Zenith''s, the words were something he wasn''t familiar wi---actually, his mind had information on the language spoken. And almost as if it was natural for him, he spoke. The new language flowed from his lips as if it was his native tongue. "Y-yes, I''m awake," he hastily replied, trying his best not to sound awkward. The door opened, revealing a young girl, her appearance seemed to be that of someone around 13 with her body still developing. She wore baggy, dark pink pajamas, her long violet hair disheveled, eyes were half-opened, while her tail dropped, dragging on the floor as her tiny black wings carried her entire body in the air. Clearly, this girl had just awoken. Flying closer towards him, Sirus silently tried making sense of the situation as the pink-haired girl with wings started inspecting him. Grabbing his hair and knocking on his head, the girl made a breath of relief. "Seems like rolling you down the mountain didn''t do any damage," she muttered silently to herself. "Where am I exactly?" Sirus asked, unable to hold back his curiosity any longer. "Oh right, your in the shed right now," you should probably wait here, I''ll just get dressed. Bye~" said the girl as she carried herself outside the room, closing the door on her way out. This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience. Now, once again alone, Sirus sat on the side of the bed, obediently waiting for the girl to come back. He realized that his black cloak was gone, and he was now wearing a white shirt and black pants that weren''t his. Taking Zenith''s words into consideration, he straightened his goals, and for now he needed information. -- 0 -- 0 -- 0 -- Mia was looking at herself in the mirror. She held a brush in her hand using it to slowly straighten out her bed hair. She was thinking of the boy she had picked up the other day. He crashed from the sky out of nowhere, was thrown around like a ragdoll but had sustained no injuries, his cloak was heavier than a full suit of armor, he had no idea about where he is, and there was also the fact that he hasn''t shown any other expression other than a smile-----even while he slept he smiled! ''Hmm~ his way of speaking was also sort of strange...'' Using magic she conjured a ball of water and placed in a basin for washing her face. ''I need to ask him where he came from later. Since there''s no other place here to stay at, he''d have to stay here, it''s a good thing Auntie is kind to strangers... especially to handsome young boys.'' She giggled as she admired herself in the mirror. Her past sleepy look was gone and was back to her usual cute self. Looking at the clock hung up her door, she saw the time. "I guess I should go back and check up on him." She said as she fixed the buttons on her sleeveless pink dress. Making her way up to her chest she pressed down and felt the nonexistent mounds. She pouted. "Small chest are filled with hopes and dreams..." She chanted. It was what her Auntie would tell her whenever she was depressed at how her chest hadn''t grown. She continued buttoning her dress when she heard a shriek. "AAAAAHHHHH!!!" It was Auntie. She quickly enveloped herself in mana and activated her magic---[Teleport]. As she felt the space around her distort, a slight dizziness assaulted her, but then she suddenly found herself back inside the shed, only difference was the huge hole in the wall. Peering outside through the wall that seemed to have been blown away by brute force, Mia saw the figures of two people. There was the boy with ash grey hair she brought back, sprawled on the ground with a nervous and confused smile on his face. The other person was her Auntie, a mature woman in her prime, her figure was perfect was ever, and her womanly assets were like the manifestation of men''s desires, but she wasn''t human, her two slit cobalt blue eyes and dark purple tail that matched her long hair made sure to show that. She was a dragon. And in this scenario, the dragon had a boy pinned down beneath her with glittering eyes and a long tongue dripping with saliva in a very obscene manner. Mia watched silently, peeking behind the broken wall. She watched as the usual reserved and mature aura was stripped away from her Auntie. While she watched intently at how the situation would develop with flushed cheeks, her eyebrow raised as she noticed something in the distance. Squinting her eyes, she could see a shiny silver helmet hidden behind the trees. Just like her it intently watched at how the situation was unfolding, also somehow, the helmet''s sides had a light shade red as if it was blushing. As the helmet realized it had been discovered by Mia, it brought his gauntlet''s index finger to his visor, signaling her to keep silent. Mia grinned and nodded, turning her eyes back to the two people sprawled on the ground. = 0 = 0 = 0 = A woman that could only be described as a divine beauty was casually running through the forest at the pace of a tempest wolf. A cheerful smile hung on her face, her tail followed behind her wagging joyfully. The other day, Mia had tried inviting her to watch the sunrise but no matter how much she willed her body to wake, she couldn''t move an eyelid and fell back to sleep-----a grave sin. ''How could I have denied the cute Mia of such a simple request!'' She cried out internally the moment she awoke and recollected what had happened. And so she quickly tried to look for Mia to make it up to her, only to find herself lost in the middle of the forest. While spending hours wandering around the thick lush greenery, a certain animal caught her eye as it lay perched on a tree branch. ''A bird!'' She exclaimed as she saw the small majestic bird in all it''s glory. It was pure white with some beautiful purple streaks and long tail feathers. ''This will definitely cheer her up!'' Grabbing the bird, she lifted her nose to the wind to get a scent back home. Without much luck, she clicked her tongue. "Just how far out am I?" For another few hours she spent wandering around once more. Seeing it was already around midnight she laid under a big tree hugging her legs, the bird she caught earlier was sleeping soundly on her head. She was about to drift into sleep herself, before... "The scent of a boy?" She immediately stood back up and traced the scent. Knowing there was only place in the forest that could shelter for people, she quickly dashed towards the source of the scent. While she was happy that she found a way back home, another thought was in the back of her mind. ''I hope he''s cute!'' She giggled.
